- 0:13Speaker 1: And now a man who has had way too much
- 1:53Speaker 1: well to go Greg formas.
- 1:57Speaker 2: A k A.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Gig more buddy, How the hell are you? Man? I
- 2:02Speaker 1: am so happy to see you. I see that you're
- 2:06Speaker 1: wearing your Glenn Brummer blue. Yes, I you look great, man,
- 2:12Speaker 1: Thank you? Did you did you shave up the top
- 2:15Speaker 1: of the head. You look balder than a ping pong ball.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Brow I do trim it from I don't know.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I don't know if you get up there with the
- 2:23Speaker 1: straight blade.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, sure.
- 2:28Speaker 1: It's good to see you, man.
- 2:29Speaker 3: It's good to see.
- 2:30Speaker 1: You before I forget, and I'm gonna forget, so I
- 2:35Speaker 1: got to get this out right now. First of all,
- 2:38Speaker 1: there's just a ton of stuff that's going on right now.
- 2:41Speaker 1: It's just crazy. Tomorrow morning, I will not be here.
- 2:45Speaker 1: I'm going to be at the State House because Invisible
- 2:50Speaker 1: Productions has teamed up with with me. I don't know
- 2:55Speaker 1: if you heard the podcast episode with Dominic Barcomb, the
- 3:02Speaker 1: sixteen year old Milton basketball player who suffered that heart attack. Yeah,
- 3:09Speaker 1: while he was while he was playing hoop during a
- 3:12Speaker 1: game over at Spaulding. Tomorrow morning, there's going to be
- 3:16Speaker 1: this big legislative breakfast and they want me there, So
- 3:23Speaker 1: I didn't even know.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Well aren't you.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I didn't even know that. You know, when when Invisible
- 3:31Speaker 1: Productions told me, hey, you're in the documentary, I was like,
- 3:35Speaker 1: what are you talking about? And they put clips of
- 3:37Speaker 1: the podcast episode with with Dominic, so you're important. But
- 3:41Speaker 1: I didn't know they were doing that. So anyway, I
- 3:45Speaker 1: had big plans for tomorrow morning. Kenny was supposed to
- 3:49Speaker 1: be in here, a big Kenny. Remember Big Kenny. Oh yeah,
- 3:54Speaker 1: boy did that guy turn it up the last time
- 3:57Speaker 1: he was here?
- 3:57Speaker 3: I think?
- 3:59Speaker 1: But Kenny. I was chatting with Kenny last night. He
- 4:02Speaker 1: knows what's going on, and we're gonna postpone him to
- 4:05Speaker 1: another Friday as soon as possible. Okay, So I just
- 4:07Speaker 1: want to let everyone know we have a winter weather advisory.
- 4:14Speaker 1: We have some snow coming and they're saying, you know,
- 4:17Speaker 1: like four inches of snow and some light glazing too.
- 4:21Speaker 1: So the roads aren't going to be great today. Winds
- 4:23Speaker 1: are going to be gusting. They're saying around thirty miles
- 4:27Speaker 1: an hour today with all of this shit that's coming in,
- 4:31Speaker 1: so playing on some slippery road conditions.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, my Alexa this morning told me, okay, she said,
- 4:38Speaker 3: good morning, Greg. The weather today in bar Vermont will
- 4:44Speaker 3: be snowy with winter weather advisories from seven am to
- 4:49Speaker 3: ten pm. And then I said thank you, and she
- 4:52Speaker 3: said you're welcome, Greg.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Have a good day, all right, So just go man.
- 5:00Speaker 1: You know today the visibility is not going to be great.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Just take your time getting to where you need to be.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Don't drive for like an ass hat. Just be careful
- 5:11Speaker 1: all that good stuff, you know. I don't know, roads
- 5:16Speaker 1: were kind of junky yesterday, but this is uh, you know,
- 5:19Speaker 1: it's just another reminder to be careful today. That's all.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Okay.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I think we can Tracy with us. Good morning Tracy.
- 5:24Speaker 3: How are you? Oh?
- 5:26Speaker 1: We missed her?
- 5:27Speaker 2: Damn it.
- 5:29Speaker 1: We're gonna see if I can. I'm gonna see if
- 5:30Speaker 1: I can get Tracy on here in just a little bit. Also,
- 5:33Speaker 1: I have a buddy and I don't know if he's
- 5:35Speaker 1: going to be joining us or not, but this guy
- 5:39Speaker 1: is a batshit crazy Eagles fan. Uh my buddy, Mark,
- 5:46Speaker 1: he is way over the top. I'm going to try
- 5:48Speaker 1: to connect with him at some point this morning and
- 5:51Speaker 1: see if we can get him on live. But this
- 5:53Speaker 1: guy is like cuckoo. I mean, I've known some fans
- 5:57Speaker 1: out there. I mean, my family is die hard Steelers fans.
- 6:03Speaker 1: They wave the yellow flags, they all wear the jerseys. Yeah,
- 6:08Speaker 1: this is my brother and my sister in law, my
- 6:10Speaker 1: whole my whole family.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Yes you did, yes, yes, yes you you introduced me
- 6:17Speaker 3: to him at one of the fights. Yes, yeah, and yeah,
- 6:22Speaker 3: that was that was interesting.
- 6:24Speaker 1: I want to give a shout out to Bobby Bartlett,
- 6:27Speaker 1: who's uh posting a comment right here saying today will
- 6:30Speaker 1: be a full coverage needed insurance day today, drive safe
- 6:34Speaker 1: for everyone. So Bobby State Farm, he is my newest sponsor,
- 6:42Speaker 1: which we have to talk about. We have to talk
- 6:44Speaker 1: about GK as well, but Bobby and State Farm unbelievable
- 6:51Speaker 1: and I'm thrilled to have him. We're gonna be Bobby's
- 6:54Speaker 1: going to be in here real soon. We're going to
- 6:55Speaker 1: be talking about life insurance. And man, let me tell
- 6:58Speaker 1: you when when he comes in. And I know a
- 7:01Speaker 1: lot of people are like, well are you talking about
- 7:03Speaker 1: life insurance on the air. That's im boring. It's important,
- 7:07Speaker 1: But listen this guy, Bobby. First of all, his hair
- 7:10Speaker 1: is amazing. Have you seen his hair? Yes, unbelievable. I
- 7:13Speaker 1: wish I had hair like that. But Bobby, when he
- 7:16Speaker 1: comes in here, he is going to make talking about
- 7:19Speaker 1: life insurance entertaining, right and frankly exciting.
- 7:25Speaker 3: It's really sad that you're going to die. This is
- 7:28Speaker 3: exciting news.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Bobby has a way of setting stuff up like this
- 7:35Speaker 1: in a way where even dumbasses like me can understand. Right,
- 7:40Speaker 1: So he's gonna be in here soon. We're going to
- 7:42Speaker 1: be talking about that.
- 7:43Speaker 3: But now, can I contact Bobby for a quote get
- 7:50Speaker 3: my twenty dollars from him? Okay, and not get the
- 7:54Speaker 3: insurance because I already have State pon. So since I
- 7:59Speaker 3: have state phone, does he want to just send me
- 8:01Speaker 3: twenty bucks? Or should I call him for a quote
- 8:03Speaker 3: and then get my twenty bucks?
- 8:05Speaker 1: That that's a tough one man check with Bobby. But
- 8:09Speaker 1: here's the deal with Bobby. If you call him and
- 8:13Speaker 1: you get a quote for anything.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Right, whether you like, whether you take him or.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Not, yeah, Home Model Life Interant whatever, yeap, whether you
- 8:21Speaker 1: take the claimer or not, he'll se twenty bucks. They'll
- 8:24Speaker 1: send you twenty bucks.
- 8:25Speaker 3: So tell Bobby that I already have state bombs, so
- 8:27Speaker 3: I just.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Want my twenty bucks, right exactly.
- 8:30Speaker 3: I think that's fair.
- 8:31Speaker 1: We have a lot to get to. Today, we have
- 8:35Speaker 1: some Vermont news that's floating around. Some of it's kind
- 8:39Speaker 1: of funky, some of it's kind of weird. Some missing people,
- 8:43Speaker 1: some investigations going on at a federal investigation because somebody
- 8:49Speaker 1: mailed something to the Bernie Sanders office yesterday and they
- 8:54Speaker 1: got it and it was a white powdery substance. And
- 8:58Speaker 1: now that automatically he turns to a federal situation, right,
- 9:04Speaker 1: I mean the state police and the local municipal police,
- 9:08Speaker 1: everyone was there, has has Matt came in and they
- 9:11Speaker 1: determined in about thirty minutes that it was not a
- 9:15Speaker 1: hazardous material. Right. Maybe it was a little gift from
- 9:22Speaker 1: the cartel, I don't know.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Maybe it was a gift from the Cooking Channel sending
- 9:27Speaker 3: him some new flower.
- 9:29Speaker 1: It could have been flower, but it could have been anything.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Could have been a little magic dust. Who knows.
- 9:36Speaker 3: Well, we don't know what Bernie does behind closed doors anyway. Now,
- 9:41Speaker 3: But why.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Aren't they saying Why wouldn't they say? Why can't they say,
- 9:46Speaker 1: all right, guys, it was baby powder, I mean, yeah,
- 9:51Speaker 1: it was talc.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Why can't they do that?
- 9:54Speaker 3: Why can't they just say because everybody sensationalizes things in
- 9:59Speaker 3: the news. Ah, the news has to be sensationalized, otherwise
- 10:02Speaker 3: it's not news interesting.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Yeah, that's one of the stories that's really buzzing. The
- 10:12Speaker 1: other one is this investigation with this this missing guy
- 10:17Speaker 1: in Bradford and what that's turning into. And that's that's
- 10:23Speaker 1: just a mess.
- 10:25Speaker 3: I haven't heard that one.
- 10:26Speaker 1: This guy that's gone missing, and they're you know, there's
- 10:33Speaker 1: some drug activity. Shocker, I know, but you know there.
- 10:38Speaker 3: Did you say drugs?
- 10:40Speaker 1: I did in Vermont? Yeah? I know, I know, stop it,
- 10:46Speaker 1: but you know who did this? And who did that?
- 10:48Speaker 1: And who who did he leave with? He left with
- 10:50Speaker 1: someone and and and they're all they're they're over there
- 10:53Speaker 1: doing a big, big investigation in the one of the
- 10:57Speaker 1: properties just outside of Bradford, and it's kind of it's
- 11:02Speaker 1: kind of a funky story. Uh. Did you see yesterday's
- 11:07Speaker 1: podcast with with Jayla? I saw a little bit local.
- 11:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I saw a little bit. But I was up
- 11:13Speaker 3: at the doctors yesterday morning at nine am.
- 11:16Speaker 1: All right, Jayla was in here yesterday. I had never
- 11:20Speaker 1: met her. She came down, she sat right there and
- 11:24Speaker 1: was talking about how she is a homeless mom with.
- 11:29Speaker 3: The word homeless, we can okay.
- 11:31Speaker 1: We can, all right, or unhomed. I just don't you know,
- 11:37Speaker 1: everybody gets so offended by everything. Now, I don't no,
- 11:41Speaker 1: we we said the h weord plenty of times yesterday
- 11:44Speaker 1: A single mother, three kids, seven, nine and eleven homeless
- 11:52Speaker 1: right here. Her story is really kind of shed some
- 11:58Speaker 1: light that you really ought to take a second look
- 12:05Speaker 1: at some of the stigmas out there about homeless folks. Yep,
- 12:11Speaker 1: her story circumstantially was just amazing.
- 12:18Speaker 3: People everybody think one yeah, everybody thinks that homeless people
- 12:21Speaker 3: are just losers that don't care and just want to
- 12:25Speaker 3: live on the streets. And a lot of times it's
- 12:28Speaker 3: circumstances that hit you from from behind and before you
- 12:33Speaker 3: know it, you have no place to live and you
- 12:35Speaker 3: have no connection. It's just a place.
- 12:38Speaker 1: It's it was. It was amazing to hear her story,
- 12:41Speaker 1: but also how things spiraled and how one thing set
- 12:45Speaker 1: up another and things got stacked up on her huge.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I just couldn't believe it affected employment and then one
- 12:54Speaker 1: thing created another thing, and it was just it's unbelievable.
- 12:58Speaker 1: But she's trying really hard to get her life back
- 13:00Speaker 1: contract and we had thousands of people that were watching
- 13:02Speaker 1: that right yesterday. So anyway, great podcast. If you missed
- 13:07Speaker 1: that episode, go back and uh and catch it. You
- 13:12Speaker 1: I see that? What is that? Your your bible right
- 13:14Speaker 1: next to you? What is that?
- 13:15Speaker 3: What do you mean? What is this? Everybody knows what
- 13:19Speaker 3: this is?
- 13:20Speaker 1: What is that?
- 13:21Speaker 3: Oh? Oh yeah? Oh yeah.
- 13:24Speaker 1: No.
- 13:24Speaker 3: We talked about it, and I think didn't we get
- 13:27Speaker 3: some responses last time that we did our executive orders?
- 13:31Speaker 1: Yes? We did. Okay, well we got a lot of listen.
- 13:35Speaker 1: I caught some heat for that.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Wow.
- 13:38Speaker 1: You you and I drew up what was it two
- 13:41Speaker 1: weeks ago? Yeah?
- 13:43Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a couple of weeks ago.
- 13:45Speaker 1: We drew up our own executive orders. I had five,
- 13:49Speaker 1: you had five, yep, and we signed them live on
- 13:54Speaker 1: the air. Yeah.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Yeah. And now I have another executive order?
- 13:59Speaker 1: Is there is there an executive order that states that
- 14:04Speaker 1: you can continue to have additional executive orders going forward?
- 14:09Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 14:09Speaker 3: And if there was one that says we couldn't, I
- 14:11Speaker 3: would still have them exactly, you know, fuck them all?
- 14:14Speaker 1: All right, So you have it a fresh.
- 14:16Speaker 3: I have a fresh executive order that has come down
- 14:20Speaker 3: and is going to have to go into effect effective immediately.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Okay, s that effect twice. But that's okay.
- 14:27Speaker 3: It's effective and effective immediately. So it's effective.
- 14:32Speaker 1: No, is that effective with with the with an a
- 14:35Speaker 1: effective meaning it's it's going to affect people. Yeah, it's
- 14:41Speaker 1: effective effective, yes, But is it effective also? It can
- 14:46Speaker 1: be effective or effective orffective? All right, let's see what
- 14:51Speaker 1: we have.
- 14:51Speaker 3: Oh that's my old face. Yes, I am ready ready
- 15:00Speaker 3: effective today, Executive Order one eighty eight.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Oh wait a second, what time today?
- 15:10Speaker 3: It's going to be effective as of nine a m.
- 15:14Speaker 1: All right, well that was seventeen minutes ago.
- 15:16Speaker 3: Right, that's why I'm putting it into effect. Now, okay,
- 15:20Speaker 3: all drivers over the age of sixty five are subject
- 15:27Speaker 3: by this order to take a psychiatric test, a reasoning test,
- 15:34Speaker 3: an I test, and a driving test and repeat every
- 15:40Speaker 3: two years until they die.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Is that it?
- 15:44Speaker 3: That's it. That's the executive order, and now I'm going
- 15:48Speaker 3: to sign it.
- 15:51Speaker 1: All right, go ahead, sign that thing.
- 15:56Speaker 3: That's the G and there's the four this ready, yep,
- 16:03Speaker 3: there it is there it is.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Hold it up a little higher than that.
- 16:08Speaker 3: There there there it is. All right, it's effective. Now,
- 16:11Speaker 3: anybody over sixty five, you got to go get a
- 16:14Speaker 3: psychiatric test. You got to get an eye test, you
- 16:17Speaker 3: got to get a driving test and every two years
- 16:20Speaker 3: after until you did. That's the order, and my husband
- 16:26Speaker 3: will definitely be on board with that one.
- 16:28Speaker 1: All right. Becky says she likes this one, and she's
- 16:33Speaker 1: asking if you could send it to the DMV.
- 16:36Speaker 3: I will send it straight away, all right, send the
- 16:43Speaker 3: fax machine now, Becky got.
- 16:46Speaker 1: All right, thank you so much for that, buddy.
- 16:48Speaker 3: You're welcome.
- 16:49Speaker 1: That was How long did it take you to write that? Well?
- 16:52Speaker 3: I had to seek my advisers, yes, and after they
- 16:55Speaker 3: all advised me to go a different way, I went
- 16:57Speaker 3: this way.
- 16:58Speaker 1: All right, let's take you on the road right now.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Tracy is with us from Jeruka.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Morning love, good morning.
- 17:07Speaker 4: How are you.
- 17:07Speaker 1: We are one hundred percent. We just we're having an
- 17:12Speaker 1: interesting morning. Things okay with you.
- 17:15Speaker 4: Things are doing very well with us.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Tell us about what the heck is going on with
- 17:20Speaker 1: Jarroot General Transport. You guys just started a course on Monday,
- 17:26Speaker 1: just a few days ago.
- 17:28Speaker 4: We did. We just started back from our winter break.
- 17:31Speaker 5: So we started February third with a new training and
- 17:36Speaker 5: we have another one coming up on March third. If
- 17:39Speaker 5: you missed this February training and you're still interested in
- 17:43Speaker 5: taking it during the winter months.
- 17:45Speaker 4: A lot of people are.
- 17:45Speaker 5: Laid off this time of year and we'd like to
- 17:47Speaker 5: take it during layoff. We do have one coming up
- 17:50Speaker 5: on March third. It'll be run Monday through Friday from
- 17:55Speaker 5: four to nine pm, so they're evening courses. It's it's
- 18:01Speaker 5: doing really well up there. I've already got I believe
- 18:05Speaker 5: ten on my roster for the March class, so yeah,
- 18:10Speaker 5: it's filling up quickly. It's it's going to be a
- 18:15Speaker 5: really good spring. I think drivers are needed everywhere still.
- 18:20Speaker 5: I'm still getting calls almost daily for drivers, so there's
- 18:26Speaker 5: still a very big need in Vermont for CDL drivers,
- 18:31Speaker 5: both local and over the road. So if it's something
- 18:34Speaker 5: you're interested in, give me a call. We can definitely chat.
- 18:38Speaker 5: If you take your CDL course with us, you get
- 18:42Speaker 5: the HASMT.
- 18:43Speaker 4: Theory training included in your course.
- 18:46Speaker 5: If you already have your CDL, but you need to
- 18:49Speaker 5: get your has MAT.
- 18:50Speaker 4: It's a three hour.
- 18:52Speaker 5: Class, one day a month, and it's the cost is
- 18:58Speaker 5: one hundred dollars.
- 18:59Speaker 4: It's not it's it's very minimal. It's very easy to.
- 19:02Speaker 5: Attend, get the grades in the system, and then you
- 19:06Speaker 5: just have to take your endorsement through the d MD.
- 19:09Speaker 1: What do you say to people that, let's let's take
- 19:14Speaker 1: a little bit of a deeper dive here. People that
- 19:16Speaker 1: say I can't afford that class AIC, I can't afford that.
- 19:21Speaker 4: Right, Well, we get that a lot.
- 19:22Speaker 5: But there are a lot of grants out there, and
- 19:27Speaker 5: the first one I would start with is VSAK dot org.
- 19:31Speaker 5: VSAC dot org has a non degree grant. It's called
- 19:35Speaker 5: the Advancement Grant. That advancement Grant, if your income eligible,
- 19:39Speaker 5: will cover up to seventy five percent of the course
- 19:42Speaker 5: all by itself.
- 19:44Speaker 4: VISAK is now.
- 19:45Speaker 5: Opening up other grants as well to this program, for
- 19:50Speaker 5: like the Curtis Fund, which is like an additional fifteen hundred.
- 19:54Speaker 5: I mean, there's other grants through VISAC that you have
- 19:57Speaker 5: to talk to a counselor to apply for, But the
- 20:01Speaker 5: one that's online and the easiest to access is the
- 20:05Speaker 5: Advancement Grant, and it's the only one on their website
- 20:08Speaker 5: that you can apply for through that.
- 20:11Speaker 4: You know, through that.
- 20:13Speaker 5: Area, you'd have to talk to a counselor and fill
- 20:16Speaker 5: out paperwork for the other ones. And then there's the
- 20:19Speaker 5: Iowa Grant through the Department of Labor, which will cover
- 20:23Speaker 5: much of the rest of the training, but they will
- 20:27Speaker 5: require that you apply for VSAC first.
- 20:30Speaker 4: There is also for what women and minorities.
- 20:34Speaker 5: There is Agency of Transportation has a grant for fifteen
- 20:38Speaker 5: hundred dollars if you're a woman and minority. So there's
- 20:43Speaker 5: there's lots of different things out there to help you
- 20:46Speaker 5: pay for it, especially if you are on.
- 20:49Speaker 4: A tight budget.
- 20:51Speaker 5: You don't have to be unemployed, you just have to
- 20:54Speaker 5: be on a type budget because the VISAC.
- 20:56Speaker 4: Grant goes by debt to income ratio.
- 20:59Speaker 5: Many people live in your house versus your debt DA
- 21:02Speaker 5: da DA, So it's worth the application. It's a fifteen
- 21:06Speaker 5: minute online application and it can save you a ton
- 21:08Speaker 5: of money.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Yeah. Absolutely. I think it's wonderful that you work with employers.
- 21:14Speaker 1: You try to position the course around people's schedules so
- 21:20Speaker 1: that they can get this done even though they're working
- 21:23Speaker 1: full time. That's one of the big things about you guys.
- 21:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:27Speaker 5: Absolutely, And for employers who have multiple employees that need
- 21:33Speaker 5: to get trained. The rules and regulations are changing regularly
- 21:38Speaker 5: and a lot of people are like, well, we're caught
- 21:40Speaker 5: in a catch twenty two.
- 21:41Speaker 4: We've always run the business this way. But now the
- 21:43Speaker 4: government's saying they need CDLs before they can get behind
- 21:46Speaker 4: the wheel.
- 21:47Speaker 5: So for companies like that, who are are you know,
- 21:52Speaker 5: they either paying for it, they don't have any way
- 21:55Speaker 5: of just sending one or two, but they have multiple.
- 21:59Speaker 5: If you have four more employees that need a license,
- 22:02Speaker 5: will make you your own class set on a schedule
- 22:05Speaker 5: that is what you guys are available for, and then
- 22:10Speaker 5: we'll also give you a multi student discount. So it's
- 22:15Speaker 5: worth an employer to reach out to me and say
- 22:18Speaker 5: I need a training for X amount of people. What
- 22:21Speaker 5: can you do for me? And we'll work with you.
- 22:24Speaker 5: We're very flexible, especially for our local Vermont businesses. We're
- 22:29Speaker 5: all struggling this time of year. It's not just one,
- 22:32Speaker 5: it's many. So it's good too. It's good to reach
- 22:37Speaker 5: out and just ask. It doesn't hurt ever to ask.
- 22:41Speaker 1: All right, CDL School NVT dot com. We're going to
- 22:47Speaker 1: be hammering this a way. I'm sure March this March
- 22:50Speaker 1: third courses can be filling up. Don't wait on this
- 22:53Speaker 1: and make sure you get your permit before the class starts.
- 22:57Speaker 1: That's critical, right.
- 22:59Speaker 5: Correct, And if you are thinking about taking the March class.
- 23:04Speaker 5: Now would be the time to book your permit appointment
- 23:07Speaker 5: because DMV is booked out about three weeks, so two
- 23:12Speaker 5: to three weeks, depending on what location you're going to,
- 23:15Speaker 5: whether you're going to Mount Player or Saint John's Bery,
- 23:17Speaker 5: South Burlington, it depends on the location. But they're booking
- 23:20Speaker 5: out there a couple of weeks. So book the appointment now,
- 23:24Speaker 5: study for it. There's practice tests right on the Vermont
- 23:27Speaker 5: DMV website that you can practice and once you're you know,
- 23:31Speaker 5: comfortable taking those tests, then absolutely go down and take
- 23:35Speaker 5: your permit appointment. It's not a difficult thing to do.
- 23:39Speaker 4: It really is not. It's very simple and cut and dry.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Good stuff. Tracy. I want you. I want to get
- 23:45Speaker 1: you in the studio here at some point real soon.
- 23:47Speaker 1: All right, sounds good, Let's do it. Thank you, Tracy,
- 23:51Speaker 1: We appreciate you, We love you. Gee, isn't she amazing?
- 23:57Speaker 1: She's just something else of this bill. Are some of
- 24:01Speaker 1: the busiest people that I know. They're just slammed. Uh
- 24:06Speaker 1: And you know, anyone who's that busy is going to
- 24:09Speaker 1: be successful.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Yep.
- 24:11Speaker 1: I love that about them. Thursday Morning dilemma This morning,
- 24:16Speaker 1: are you are you prepared for this.
- 24:19Speaker 3: I'm prepared for anything that comes out of your mouth.
- 24:21Speaker 1: This is something that I would I'd love to hear
- 24:25Speaker 1: what you have to say about it. I on Thursdays,
- 24:29Speaker 1: I love to read some of the text messages that
- 24:34Speaker 1: I get through through the aired out page. They only
- 24:39Speaker 1: come to me. They're private. I will never reveal your
- 24:45Speaker 1: name if you have a you know, a dilemma, or
- 24:49Speaker 1: you need some advice or whatever it may be. And
- 24:52Speaker 1: we've got We've had some rather interesting ones here lately.
- 24:55Speaker 1: This one is about someone's hair stylist. I'm not saying
- 25:02Speaker 1: what town. I'm not saying what town this is in,
- 25:08Speaker 1: or where where this is from or anything. Okay, but
- 25:12Speaker 1: it says JD. I I like my hairstylist, but I
- 25:16Speaker 1: don't love her. There is Oh, and we can God,
- 25:22Speaker 1: so many of us can relate to this. There is
- 25:26Speaker 1: too much chatter going on and too much small talk.
- 25:35Speaker 1: She is simply not listening to me, and frankly, might
- 25:40Speaker 1: even be distracted by her own one way conversation. Oh
- 25:45Speaker 1: dear goodness, Holy Lord, taking a little bit too much
- 25:52Speaker 1: off the top. I think I think we can kind
- 25:54Speaker 1: of gather that this might be a male here, you know,
- 25:58Speaker 1: I don't know, interrupting herself, changing subjects on her own.
- 26:05Speaker 1: She almost seems bored. Okay, should I say something or
- 26:12Speaker 1: should I just find another hairstylist?
- 26:16Speaker 3: Wow, take it away, ge Well, considering I told a
- 26:22Speaker 3: bagger at Price Chopper Ones to go bag somewhere else
- 26:25Speaker 3: because she talked too much and didn't do her job,
- 26:29Speaker 3: the easiest solution to this is go find somebody else,
- 26:33Speaker 3: you know, I mean when I go, when I used
- 26:35Speaker 3: to go, I don't go anymore. When I used to
- 26:37Speaker 3: go get a haircut, I just wanted to sit there
- 26:39Speaker 3: and get it done the way I wanted it done,
- 26:41Speaker 3: and I wanted to leave. And if they chatted every
- 26:45Speaker 3: now and then, I'd be like, oh yeah, huh huh.
- 26:47Speaker 3: And then I just ignore them. But if this person
- 26:50Speaker 3: seems that flighty, do yourself a favor, move on. But
- 26:56Speaker 3: it's you know, the person doesn't love her anyway.
- 26:59Speaker 1: We don't want to hurt feeling.
- 27:00Speaker 3: Who cares, you know, it's her responsibility to when you're
- 27:05Speaker 3: in the chair, you should be the only thing that matters.
- 27:08Speaker 3: And there's nothing worse than when you're getting a haircutter.
- 27:10Speaker 3: You're getting service that a spa or something and they're
- 27:13Speaker 3: talking to somebody else, or they're talking to themselves and
- 27:17Speaker 3: not paying attention to you. You're paying for a service.
- 27:21Speaker 3: The service should be about you. If you're not getting
- 27:23Speaker 3: that satisfaction and that comfort, go elsewhere, fish around. That's
- 27:29Speaker 3: my answer. Problem solved.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Next. Next, we have a we have a growing number
- 27:41Speaker 1: of skiers, oh Jimminy's that are skipping the lift. Gee,
- 27:48Speaker 1: this is the new trend. Okay, no more ski lifts.
- 27:56Speaker 3: Okay.
- 27:56Speaker 1: And I don't know, I don't know if this is
- 28:00Speaker 1: I haven't heard about anyone doing this informant. I don't
- 28:03Speaker 1: know that this is a thing, a thing here in fromant,
- 28:07Speaker 1: but apparently it is a thing okay, everywhere, Okay, choosing
- 28:15Speaker 1: to power up the mountain in the snow m several
- 28:23Speaker 1: and it was just reading here. Several US ski resorts
- 28:27Speaker 1: are attracting those in search of a good workout and
- 28:32Speaker 1: giving new meaning to a leg day. Why in the
- 28:41Speaker 1: hell would you do something like this. I understand that
- 28:49Speaker 1: you love to get exercise. I understand that you know,
- 28:56Speaker 1: you're doing all these these fitness classes and you're you know,
- 29:01Speaker 1: you're throwing the big tire around and all this stuff
- 29:04Speaker 1: that's wonderful, yep. But we made ski lifts for a reason, right,
- 29:14Speaker 1: Why would you do something like that. Hey, let's spend
- 29:18Speaker 1: a million dollars on a on a on a lift ticket,
- 29:21Speaker 1: not use the lift. Let's just take the skis off,
- 29:24Speaker 1: bring the snow shoes, and we'll spend three hours.
- 29:27Speaker 3: Climbing the hill, maybe five right, one run down.
- 29:33Speaker 1: It's a mountain, I know, climbing a mountain so that
- 29:36Speaker 1: when we can get to the top, we feel adventurous,
- 29:40Speaker 1: our legs are burning, burning with exhaustion. And now we're
- 29:45Speaker 1: gonna spend thirty seconds coming down.
- 29:50Speaker 3: And you know what my response to that is, I'm
- 29:54Speaker 3: not even gonna say the words. I'm just gonna say
- 29:56Speaker 3: who I'm going to quote, and you'll automatically say the
- 29:58Speaker 3: words I'm going to quot. My brother Mike, what would
- 30:02Speaker 3: he say?
- 30:03Speaker 1: He would say? I don't care, right, I don't care.
- 30:08Speaker 3: If you want to climb a mountain with those gorgeous
- 30:11Speaker 3: legs of yours, have at it. I don't give a shit.
- 30:14Speaker 3: I can guarantee you one thing. I will take the
- 30:17Speaker 3: ski lift all the way up, and when I get
- 30:19Speaker 3: to the top, I'm gonna take it all the way down.
- 30:21Speaker 3: Because I don't skate, and that'll be my fucking exercise.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Speaking of snow though, yeah, I need to discuss your
- 30:35Speaker 3: ability to back out of my driveway.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Forgot all about this.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Oh, I don't forget.
- 30:44Speaker 1: I forgot all about this.
- 30:46Speaker 3: Shady came to visit us this weekend, stopped in. I
- 30:50Speaker 3: gave him a few sauces and pickles and all that
- 30:54Speaker 3: fun stuff, and uh, when it was time for him
- 30:57Speaker 3: to leave, he backed out of my drive where Now,
- 31:00Speaker 3: mind you, the driveway is carved out so that you
- 31:04Speaker 3: can see, and we have polls up so you kind
- 31:07Speaker 3: of know where you're going. My husband had to run
- 31:12Speaker 3: outside screaming and whistling that that that whistle that he
- 31:16Speaker 3: does as JD backed out of the driveway on to
- 31:20Speaker 3: the lawn into the snow.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Bank, almost went into the shed.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Yeah, and we were like, what the fuck are you doing?
- 31:27Speaker 3: And you got out and you said oops, and then
- 31:30Speaker 3: you went in the back with your finger and cleaned
- 31:33Speaker 3: your camera and then you backed out the right way.
- 31:38Speaker 3: What the f dude, what was that?
- 31:41Speaker 1: I don't know, man, I don't know.
- 31:44Speaker 3: I'm just now we have tire tracks going into the yard.
- 31:48Speaker 3: People are like, oh, is that another road.
- 31:51Speaker 1: You should take a picture of those tire tracks before
- 31:54Speaker 1: the snow comes.
- 31:55Speaker 3: It's already we got snow since then. But oh, that
- 31:58Speaker 3: was funny.
- 31:58Speaker 1: I wasn't going I mean, I was like a whole
- 32:03Speaker 1: different latitude on.
- 32:05Speaker 3: I don't know where you were going. You were like, back,
- 32:07Speaker 3: my driveway curves right out to the street and it's
- 32:10Speaker 3: all called down. You backed out and said, ah, fuck
- 32:14Speaker 3: the curve, and you just kept going, yeah, right into
- 32:17Speaker 3: the snow bank. And then you said, as Jed's outside
- 32:21Speaker 3: yelling at you, you roll down your window, said don't
- 32:24Speaker 3: let gezee this. Like, I can't fucking see out a window.
- 32:29Speaker 3: I'm like, what are you talking about? Don't let me
- 32:31Speaker 3: see it. So you saw the thing from start to finish.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Yeah, what were you guys saying? What is he doing?
- 32:38Speaker 3: I said, what an asshole? And Jed says, oh my god,
- 32:41Speaker 3: what a fucking morlon. But the best was after you
- 32:44Speaker 3: cleaned your lens. Then you backed out. Fine, So here's
- 32:48Speaker 3: here's a thought in the future, JD. As you go
- 32:52Speaker 3: to your vehicle, clean the lens before you get in.
- 32:56Speaker 3: That's all I'm gonna say. I'm not gonna say no
- 32:58Speaker 3: more about that. But then we need to talk about.
- 33:03Speaker 3: Do you remember when you were in the house and
- 33:06Speaker 3: you asked Jad a very simple question about the knobs
- 33:09Speaker 3: on your board there for your podcast. Do you remember
- 33:15Speaker 3: how complicated he got about it way he talked to
- 33:20Speaker 3: us like we had just come out of technical computer school.
- 33:23Speaker 3: I mean, what was he saying.
- 33:26Speaker 1: He was saying, well, the capacitor of the.
- 33:29Speaker 3: Yeah, and if you take the board off, there's a
- 33:31Speaker 3: metal side that touches that.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Oh god.
- 33:34Speaker 3: And then he said, did you upload your thing into
- 33:37Speaker 3: a backload of a And we were like what? And
- 33:39Speaker 3: you're like and you wait until he finished the whole sentence,
- 33:42Speaker 3: and then you said, what, I have no idea what
- 33:46Speaker 3: the fuck you're talking? So he tried to simplify it,
- 33:51Speaker 3: and with you and I looked at each other like,
- 33:53Speaker 3: are we on drugs? Is he speaking English? What was that?
- 33:58Speaker 1: I think? I think when when I came and hang
- 34:00Speaker 1: out with you guys, we should we should just stream live.
- 34:02Speaker 1: We should record everybody can experience it, and.
- 34:05Speaker 3: We should record the ship that comes out of his mouth,
- 34:07Speaker 3: because he's under the assumption that everybody knows what a
- 34:12Speaker 3: diode is when you're uploading it to a backup thing.
- 34:16Speaker 1: And oh, this capacitor a caposcit.
- 34:19Speaker 3: Oh and you know maybe one of your capositors is
- 34:21Speaker 3: loose and you're like, I didn't ask you any of this.
- 34:24Speaker 3: I just said, can you fix it.
- 34:27Speaker 1: We're gonna be talking about some of our community events
- 34:30Speaker 1: that are coming up here shortly, and one of them
- 34:33Speaker 1: is a little bit of a ways away, but it's
- 34:36Speaker 1: not too far away. But Christy's with us. Christy, good morning,
- 34:40Speaker 1: good morning. I'm so listen. Thanks, thanks for hanging on
- 34:44Speaker 1: with us this morning. Christy. I'm so happy to have
- 34:47Speaker 1: you on the air. Finally, are you gonna Are you
- 34:50Speaker 1: gonna be coming in here and sharing some couch time
- 34:53Speaker 1: with me soon?
- 34:55Speaker 3: Yes?
- 34:56Speaker 6: I think March twenty fifth, I believe.
- 35:00Speaker 1: All right, good I look forward to that, and you too.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Tell tell our listeners what is coming up at the
- 35:07Speaker 1: Den in Williamstown.
- 35:10Speaker 6: Well, March thirtieth, we have Brittany's the Brittany Burg Memorial
- 35:15Speaker 6: Bingo fundraiser again. It's our fourth year doing it, the
- 35:19Speaker 6: second year at the Den and Jeff's been awesome donating
- 35:24Speaker 6: the space for us. We're gonna do it from one
- 35:29Speaker 6: to five and you can get start getting your cards
- 35:32Speaker 6: at noon and we've got some awesome prizes donated by
- 35:37Speaker 6: the community again, which the community is awesome and.
- 35:42Speaker 1: They come through every single time they do.
- 35:46Speaker 6: I feel so guilty asking because I know times are
- 35:48Speaker 6: so tough right now, but they've been great. And it's
- 35:52Speaker 6: all the local businesses too, and we're doing I'm buying
- 35:58Speaker 6: one hundred dollars in scratch offs again and putting that
- 36:01Speaker 6: in a picture frame to sell raffle tickets for that.
- 36:04Speaker 6: There'll be five dollars each. There'll be a fifty to
- 36:07Speaker 6: fifty raffle. My granddaughter, she's ten Brooklyn. She's going to
- 36:11Speaker 6: be doing free face painting for kids if they want,
- 36:14Speaker 6: or adults even.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I'd love it to be fun.
- 36:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 36:19Speaker 1: Tell us about these beautiful benches that you have for
- 36:23Speaker 1: a friend in Burytown.
- 36:25Speaker 2: They're amazing.
- 36:26Speaker 6: They're like a light purpleish and they have a plaque
- 36:30Speaker 6: on it with Brittany and it's a friendship bench and
- 36:35Speaker 6: it's it's I don't know how I got it. I
- 36:37Speaker 6: saw something on Facebook about if kids are lonelier, don't
- 36:41Speaker 6: have no friends, they can sit on the bench and
- 36:43Speaker 6: then if you see somebody on the bench, you go
- 36:44Speaker 6: over and just be a friend. And we bought two
- 36:49Speaker 6: of them. From last year's benefit. We were able to
- 36:54Speaker 6: buy the two benches and we still gave fifteen hundred
- 36:58Speaker 6: dollars out for the scholarships. It was amazing.
- 37:04Speaker 1: And the scholarship tell us where that goes, where the
- 37:09Speaker 1: proceeds go.
- 37:10Speaker 6: That goes to the Spalding High School and they pick
- 37:14Speaker 6: a senior.
- 37:15Speaker 4: Last year was a.
- 37:16Speaker 6: Little bit weird because they didn't really have a senior
- 37:20Speaker 6: that was going into anything to do with animals. So
- 37:25Speaker 6: they called me and we did a phone conference about
- 37:31Speaker 6: I said, well, well they go, what else can you
- 37:35Speaker 6: have them go for because we don't really have anybody
- 37:37Speaker 6: going into that field, because usually I wanted somebody to
- 37:40Speaker 6: go into the work field or the school about anything
- 37:45Speaker 6: to do with the animals. It could be really off
- 37:47Speaker 6: the wall, it doesn't matter. And then they can use
- 37:50Speaker 6: the fifteen hundred dollars for whatever they need. They get
- 37:53Speaker 6: a check for it, and they can use it for housing, schooling, clothes,
- 37:58Speaker 6: to go to work, anything. But they didn't have anybody
- 38:03Speaker 6: like that last year. So I told them somebody that
- 38:06Speaker 6: was active in the community that wasn't like handed grants
- 38:11Speaker 6: and scholarships and everything. And the girl they picked it
- 38:16Speaker 6: was an amazing pick because she had a really, really
- 38:21Speaker 6: rough family life and she was disassociated from her parents
- 38:25Speaker 6: and she really needed the help.
- 38:28Speaker 2: So it was great, incredible.
- 38:32Speaker 1: This is going to be coming up really soon, and
- 38:36Speaker 1: I just I wanted to sneak you on the air
- 38:38Speaker 1: just to kind of wet the whistle here and get this,
- 38:41Speaker 1: get this on onto people's calendars because it's a big event.
- 38:45Speaker 1: It has grown substantially over the years and it's coming
- 38:50Speaker 1: up soon. And what you do, Chrissy for the community
- 38:53Speaker 1: is fantastic, and you're doing it all in memory of
- 38:58Speaker 1: your daughter, Brittany, And you're gonna come in here, We're
- 39:00Speaker 1: gonna sit down, we're gonna we're gonna talk more about
- 39:03Speaker 1: this really soon on the twenty fifth.
- 39:05Speaker 6: Yep, yep.
- 39:06Speaker 7: I will be there.
- 39:07Speaker 6: And like I said, we can't do it without you
- 39:09Speaker 6: guys and the community and everybody. So it's a team
- 39:13Speaker 6: effort for sure.
- 39:15Speaker 4: For sure.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Have a great rest of your day, Drive carefully, all.
- 39:18Speaker 6: Right, thanks and watch that backing up.
- 39:25Speaker 7: Love.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Uh yeah, Chrissy. Uh, such a great lady, Chrissy Willie.
- 39:32Speaker 1: I can't wait to have her in here. She's been
- 39:34Speaker 1: on in the past, and what a story, what a
- 39:38Speaker 1: story and she's gonna be uh, she's gonna be sharing
- 39:40Speaker 1: it with with everyone. If you're not familiar with it,
- 39:44Speaker 1: make sure you're tuned in on the twenty fifth that
- 39:46Speaker 1: it's gonna be amazing. Uh gee, one of the one
- 39:49Speaker 1: of the big things coming up this weekend. And I
- 39:52Speaker 1: can't say.
- 39:54Speaker 3: If it's what I think you're gonna say, I'll be there,
- 39:57Speaker 3: all right, yeah, I'll be.
- 39:59Speaker 1: There front page of the of the World and I'll.
- 40:03Speaker 3: Said you're mentioning it because Jed needs to know this too.
- 40:06Speaker 1: All right, I'm going to show this on camera, but
- 40:08Speaker 1: I can't say the G word. And here's why because
- 40:13Speaker 1: the last time I said this word, which was a
- 40:17Speaker 1: year gone. Yeah, no, the last time I said this
- 40:23Speaker 1: on the air, I was shut down. Really yes, I
- 40:30Speaker 1: could understand that though I was shut down bye by
- 40:34Speaker 1: meta really yeah. Yeah. Well, I don't fool around with
- 40:38Speaker 1: this stuff. And it's it's it's really, it's really sad
- 40:41Speaker 1: because this is an event that has been going on
- 40:45Speaker 1: at the Berry Civic Center very auditorium yea for I
- 40:50Speaker 1: don't even know how long long time decades. Yeah, So
- 40:54Speaker 1: here it is. I'll show the front page of of
- 40:57Speaker 1: the World and you can see it right right there. Yes,
- 41:02Speaker 1: two floors, two hundred tables. It is going to be
- 41:05Speaker 1: amazing Saturday and Sunday this coming weekend. Okay, tremendous.
- 41:13Speaker 3: I'll probably be there Sunday, all right, yeah, yeah, No,
- 41:18Speaker 3: Sunday's super Bowl, right, Sunday's super Bowl. So I'll probably
- 41:22Speaker 3: go there Saturday morning, Sunday, not.
- 41:24Speaker 1: Till six thirty. Though, not till six thirty.
- 41:26Speaker 3: Yeah, well we have We're going to be doing a
- 41:28Speaker 3: lot of cooking because Jed, see, if my team, the Dolphins,
- 41:32Speaker 3: aren't playing, then I really don't watch.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Okay, I don't think the Dolphins will ever play in.
- 41:37Speaker 3: The No, don't say that. Don't say that. They did
- 41:40Speaker 3: really well last year and this year they were gonna
- 41:43Speaker 3: do well until we had a major injury. So Diane
- 41:48Speaker 3: up at the Meltdown and I which, by the way,
- 41:50Speaker 3: awesome food. Get up to the Meltdown. I love that
- 41:52Speaker 3: place anyway. Diane and I are die hard Dolphin fans,
- 41:56Speaker 3: and even if they come in last, we still wear
- 41:59Speaker 3: the Dolph stuff and we still cheer them on because
- 42:02Speaker 3: that's what a real fan is. You don't back out
- 42:04Speaker 3: because your team's doing poorly and they did. After Marino left,
- 42:09Speaker 3: they did do a lot of transition with all different players,
- 42:12Speaker 3: new players, and it took them a number of years
- 42:15Speaker 3: to get everybody in sync. But they're in sync until
- 42:18Speaker 3: we had that injury this year. So I don't watch
- 42:22Speaker 3: the Super Bowl unless it's them, and Jed doesn't usually
- 42:24Speaker 3: watch them unless it's the Raiders. However, we always throw
- 42:29Speaker 3: every year a Super Bowl party. Why I don't know,
- 42:33Speaker 3: but we do, and we have our friends over and
- 42:36Speaker 3: it's a whole big Jed makes these these all different foods,
- 42:40Speaker 3: from sticky wings to different pizzas and all different stuff
- 42:44Speaker 3: and everybody that comes brings food. And so for me
- 42:48Speaker 3: to tolerate watching this game for three four, five, six, seven,
- 42:55Speaker 3: eight hours, what we do is we all of us
- 43:00Speaker 3: that get together play poker. So we have a Poka
- 43:04Speaker 3: day where we just played poker, quarters, nicols, dimes, dollars,
- 43:08Speaker 3: that kind of thing, and in the background is the game.
- 43:12Speaker 3: All right, So that's what we do on Super Bowl.
- 43:15Speaker 3: So I will go to the other show on Saturday
- 43:18Speaker 3: morning before we go play D and D with the neighbors.
- 43:22Speaker 1: All right, A buddy of mine, Mark, Mark, there you
- 43:30Speaker 1: with me. I don't know if he's if he's locked
- 43:35Speaker 1: in with us this morning or not. My buddy Mark
- 43:38Speaker 1: is off the rails with the Eagles and he.
- 43:43Speaker 3: But he genuinely loves the Dolphins.
- 43:46Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know if he loves the Dolphins.
- 43:49Speaker 3: He does, a lot of people have a secret love
- 43:52Speaker 3: for the Dolphins.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Rilyn has has wanted the Commanders in the Super Bowl
- 44:00Speaker 1: for for a long time, and they just they got close,
- 44:05Speaker 1: but they just couldn't pull it off. The No, it
- 44:10Speaker 1: was close, but they just couldn't do it. But my
- 44:14Speaker 1: my buddy, Mark is are you there, buddy? We're not
- 44:20Speaker 1: getting him here this morning. It's too bad. He is,
- 44:24Speaker 1: he is. He takes the Eagles to a whole different level.
- 44:30Speaker 1: The rumor about Mark is that he and I don't
- 44:35Speaker 1: know if there's any truth to this or not, that
- 44:38Speaker 1: he has a bald eagle. I see the eyebrows going
- 44:44Speaker 1: up in a cage in his living room, and that
- 44:52Speaker 1: that's its home, and that's that legal. Definitely not legal.
- 44:57Speaker 3: It's gonna say, is it legal to have an eagle
- 44:59Speaker 3: in y'all? Oh?
- 45:00Speaker 1: Definitely not, especially the balding. How you could have a
- 45:03Speaker 1: bird of prey like this, Like I say, it's just
- 45:07Speaker 1: it's just a rumor. Mark, are you are you there?
- 45:11Speaker 1: Are you with us?
- 45:12Speaker 2: Oh?
- 45:15Speaker 3: Hang on? There is yeah here, Mark, you have an
- 45:23Speaker 3: eagle in your living room.
- 45:25Speaker 1: You have an eagle in your living room. That's the rumor.
- 45:28Speaker 2: Hang on, hang on, Oh there you go, I got
- 45:33Speaker 2: an in my living room. Excuse me, it's it's it's
- 45:38Speaker 2: the uh. It's super Bowl week, guys. So I imported
- 45:42Speaker 2: air from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, and I am
- 45:48Speaker 2: only allowed to breathe that air as long as this
- 45:51Speaker 2: week is going.
- 45:51Speaker 3: Hang on, what.
- 45:57Speaker 2: There it is? That's good, that's good stuff. I got
- 46:01Speaker 2: to get another hit, guys.
- 46:01Speaker 1: Sorry, yeah, go ahead, take it. Listen, take as many
- 46:04Speaker 1: breaths as you need.
- 46:06Speaker 3: I don't even want to tell you what that sounds
- 46:08Speaker 3: like on the air.
- 46:10Speaker 2: I was trying to get a Darth Vader vibe.
- 46:12Speaker 3: That wasn't that. No, it was more like you're laying
- 46:15Speaker 3: in bed vibe.
- 46:16Speaker 1: Is there a different is there a is there a
- 46:19Speaker 1: different taste? Mark to this to this air? Is there
- 46:24Speaker 1: is a sweet taste? What? What is it? What was it? Taste?
- 46:27Speaker 2: Mostly frustration? Pretty much? I mean that's it. No, man,
- 46:35Speaker 2: I'm psyched. Man, Thanks for having me on.
- 46:38Speaker 1: Are you wearing It's it's just a yes or no.
- 46:42Speaker 1: Are you wearing your eagles underwear this morning?
- 46:46Speaker 2: I am? I am going, I'm born free down there,
- 46:50Speaker 2: pellas good man.
- 46:52Speaker 1: There you go.
- 46:53Speaker 3: That would explain to breathe.
- 46:55Speaker 2: Look, it's intense now this week. I'm not wearing any clothing.
- 46:59Speaker 2: I have full eagle body paint on it.
- 47:01Speaker 1: Oh that's I figured. Is it half white and half
- 47:04Speaker 1: green or is it just all green? All right, Okay, well.
- 47:07Speaker 2: It's green and very strategic places.
- 47:09Speaker 1: I understand that too. I understand. What's the deal man,
- 47:14Speaker 1: it's do you really have? Do you really have a
- 47:17Speaker 1: bald eagle in a cage a bird of prey in
- 47:21Speaker 1: your living room? Is that really true?
- 47:24Speaker 2: Is this a joke about my hairline?
- 47:26Speaker 3: Like?
- 47:28Speaker 2: I don't even know if that's legal to have a
- 47:31Speaker 2: bald eagle in one's living room. And I respect the
- 47:35Speaker 2: the bird of America too much to.
- 47:38Speaker 1: To mess around with that.
- 47:39Speaker 2: But I do have various eagles, balloons and paraphernalia out
- 47:44Speaker 2: ready to go for Sunday.
- 47:45Speaker 3: Guys, will you take a picture and send it to us?
- 47:48Speaker 1: Yes? Please, we'll do please do.
- 47:53Speaker 2: Hey, I gotta tell you so years and years ago.
- 47:58Speaker 2: You know, I don't know everybody knows this. I gave
- 48:00Speaker 2: you an Eagles football jersey.
- 48:02Speaker 1: Oh my god, here we go.
- 48:04Speaker 2: And and you gave it back to me before the
- 48:07Speaker 2: Super Bowl that they won in twenty eighteen. You don't
- 48:12Speaker 2: know a ton about football, but apparently that got used
- 48:15Speaker 2: a lot. I have a story about that jersey, and
- 48:18Speaker 2: it's pretty wild. Tell I don't usually wear you know,
- 48:21Speaker 2: that's a jersey I've had, but there are newer jerseys
- 48:24Speaker 2: and stuff like that. Jeremiah Trotter very good, very good
- 48:30Speaker 2: man me so so I'm wearing it on Sunday. And
- 48:35Speaker 2: here's the reason why this is how old we are.
- 48:39Speaker 3: His son.
- 48:42Speaker 2: Is on the team.
- 48:44Speaker 3: Wow.
- 48:47Speaker 2: We used to watch, well, I used to watch. You
- 48:50Speaker 2: would hang out and probably like read or something. Uh,
- 48:52Speaker 2: the Eagles with Jeremiah Trotter on there. And then his
- 48:55Speaker 2: son got drafted by the Eagles and he was filling
- 48:59Speaker 2: in for some It was an injury a couple of
- 49:01Speaker 2: weeks ago, and I started wearing the jersey and they've
- 49:03Speaker 2: won ever since, so I got to keep wearing the jersey.
- 49:09Speaker 2: Maybe who cared?
- 49:12Speaker 1: You know, I remember you gave that jersey to me
- 49:16Speaker 1: and you said, I don't ever want to see this
- 49:19Speaker 1: thing again.
- 49:21Speaker 2: Very angry. Yeah, I was probably a little drunk. I
- 49:24Speaker 2: was very angry because because he went to another team
- 49:29Speaker 2: and it was not very friendly. But he actually came
- 49:31Speaker 2: back to the Eagles a couple of years later, and
- 49:34Speaker 2: uh and and all was forgiven. He has a great
- 49:36Speaker 2: car wash up in South Jersey. I mean, this guy's
- 49:39Speaker 2: all filled out.
- 49:42Speaker 1: Oh, we have a question here, which old Eagle do
- 49:45Speaker 1: you have captive? Michael Vick?
- 49:50Speaker 2: Wow, I think we let that one breathe. I'm not
- 49:53Speaker 2: gonna respond to respond.
- 49:54Speaker 1: That one kind of.
- 49:56Speaker 2: Stands on its own for several reasons.
- 50:00Speaker 1: What is your what what is your prediction during the
- 50:03Speaker 1: I mean, listen, there, this will be this will be
- 50:07Speaker 1: historic if if the Chiefs win. We all kind of
- 50:10Speaker 1: know that there's so many people that would just love
- 50:14Speaker 1: to see the Chiefs lose just for the sake of
- 50:17Speaker 1: losing losing, and you know, and have mahomes. You know,
- 50:22Speaker 1: it's just you know what I'm saying, Mark, you know
- 50:27Speaker 1: exactly what I'm saying. And there's there listen, there's there's
- 50:33Speaker 1: plenty of people that want to see the Eagles win
- 50:35Speaker 1: just so that the Chiefs don't. But what what say you?
- 50:39Speaker 2: What?
- 50:40Speaker 1: What's your like? Your your real what do you what
- 50:43Speaker 1: are you hanging your hat on this morning, on this
- 50:45Speaker 1: on this.
- 50:47Speaker 2: First of all, are you in a sports now? And
- 50:48Speaker 2: I was like solid analysis.
- 50:50Speaker 3: He thinks it really well, No, I.
- 50:53Speaker 2: Say I do it now, I'd be very upset because.
- 50:57Speaker 1: No, there's a difference. This is not This is not
- 51:01Speaker 1: the orange ball, this is the brown ball.
- 51:05Speaker 2: I'll give you, okay, a quick breakdown. I do believe
- 51:08Speaker 2: the Eagles are a better team, but I don't know
- 51:11Speaker 2: how any team solves Andy Reid's schemes or Patrick Mahomes
- 51:17Speaker 2: is clutch. I think we have a way better chance
- 51:21Speaker 2: that we did two years ago. The team is way
- 51:23Speaker 2: better Sakwon Barkley, our defense, there's a lot I think
- 51:28Speaker 2: Jalen Hurts gets a lot of slime in the media,
- 51:31Speaker 2: and I think he's gonna show up big time for
- 51:33Speaker 2: him on Sunday. And one more thing, this is the
- 51:37Speaker 2: very first time my dad is eighty four years old.
- 51:41Speaker 2: My parents live here now, and this is the very
- 51:43Speaker 2: first time the two of us will watch the Eagles
- 51:45Speaker 2: in the Super Bowl together.
- 51:47Speaker 1: Wow.
- 51:49Speaker 2: So I'm telling you my prediction. I'll take it from
- 51:53Speaker 2: Rocky three prediction. Pay let's go, oh birds, Baby?
- 52:02Speaker 3: Do you think the dolphins have a chance this year?
- 52:05Speaker 2: The dolphin? Now, I do have a dolphin in my
- 52:09Speaker 2: living room. Is that legal or not?
- 52:12Speaker 3: I actually have snowflake in my tub, Buddy.
- 52:20Speaker 1: I love you to pieces man and listen. I know.
- 52:27Speaker 1: I know that if the win or lose, that there
- 52:32Speaker 1: may be a tier or two or three shed at
- 52:37Speaker 1: Mark Miller's living room.
- 52:39Speaker 2: I'll tell you this. My kids asked me before the
- 52:43Speaker 2: Super Bowl in twenty eighteen if I would cry, and
- 52:47Speaker 2: my answer to them was, I'd only cry if we won,
- 52:50Speaker 2: because I know what losing feels like plenty as a
- 52:54Speaker 2: Philadelphia fan and growing up in Philadelphia, I know what
- 52:57Speaker 2: sports losing feels like, but I didn't know what that
- 52:59Speaker 2: moment it was, and I cried like a baby at
- 53:01Speaker 2: that one. I imagine there will be some emotion if
- 53:04Speaker 2: if my dad and I are there watching it together.
- 53:06Speaker 1: So you have you have the Eagles. You have the
- 53:10Speaker 1: Eagles blanket, you have the Eagles slippers, you have the
- 53:13Speaker 1: Eagles shower let's see shower curtain, the toothbrush, toothbrush holder,
- 53:23Speaker 1: you have the Eagles Muggy have the Eagles floor mats
- 53:27Speaker 1: in your car? What am I forgetting here? Underwear wrapped?
- 53:31Speaker 2: I got the car wrapped in the logo, just all
- 53:34Speaker 2: the logo.
- 53:37Speaker 1: The final question, do you have an Eagles tattoo? I'm
- 53:40Speaker 1: I'm assuming this is a strong yes.
- 53:43Speaker 2: I you know I do not have an Eagles tattoo.
- 53:46Speaker 3: That would make a great tramp stamp.
- 53:49Speaker 2: What.
- 53:49Speaker 1: Yes, Well, the problem.
- 53:51Speaker 2: With tattoos is I get to be an old man
- 53:53Speaker 2: and all of a sudden that thing like looks like
- 53:54Speaker 2: a Jackson Pollock.
- 53:55Speaker 7: Baiting or something.
- 53:59Speaker 2: It would be a disc the team. I can't do that.
- 54:02Speaker 3: Yeah, but if you get it as a tramp stamp,
- 54:03Speaker 3: nobody's gonna see it, whether or away.
- 54:07Speaker 2: Well again, I'm walking around the body painte.
- 54:11Speaker 1: I love you, buddy.
- 54:15Speaker 2: Take care.
- 54:15Speaker 3: Guys.
- 54:16Speaker 1: You should probably get it right, you know, right between
- 54:19Speaker 1: the the eyebrows, you know, I mean, if he's that
- 54:23Speaker 1: much of a fan, then why not right or the forehead.
- 54:28Speaker 1: By the way, I understand that, you know, and I
- 54:31Speaker 1: hear this every year that we can't we can't say
- 54:33Speaker 1: the word super Bowl. You're not We're not allowed to
- 54:36Speaker 1: say the.
- 54:36Speaker 3: Word super I call it stupid bowel.
- 54:39Speaker 1: Stupid bowel.
- 54:40Speaker 3: Yeah, it's the stupid bowel.
- 54:42Speaker 1: But apparently they own the rights to this, and it's
- 54:47Speaker 1: copyright infringement if if we say super Bowl, really don't
- 54:54Speaker 1: say superuper Bowl.
- 54:56Speaker 3: All right, Well, the thing is saying super Bowl would
- 54:59Speaker 3: would in fringe on those copyrights. So we're not going
- 55:02Speaker 3: to say super Bowl because super Bowl is a word
- 55:06Speaker 3: that we can't say.
- 55:07Speaker 1: No, we're definitely not gonna So we.
- 55:09Speaker 3: Won't talk about the super Bowl. We won't even hint
- 55:12Speaker 3: about the super Bowl. We won't even say that the
- 55:14Speaker 3: super Bowl is this Sunday. No, we won't talk about
- 55:18Speaker 3: super Bowl parties or tailgating, nothing to do with super Bowl.
- 55:23Speaker 3: And this way we're not infringing on those rights.
- 55:25Speaker 1: Yeah, and we won't get sued.
- 55:28Speaker 3: Well that which is important. So no more super Bowl.
- 55:30Speaker 1: Yeah please. By the way, enough ministries. Over on Washington Street,
- 55:37Speaker 1: they are having a huge Bowl game super Bowl party.
- 55:44Speaker 1: Nice and everyone's invited. They're doing a wing challenge. It's
- 55:48Speaker 1: all pot luck. It's going to be a good time.
- 55:50Speaker 1: And I know that you have seen this in the
- 55:55Speaker 1: in the world paper, yes, but here it is. These
- 55:58Speaker 1: are the tickets. So if you want to catch the game,
- 56:03Speaker 1: they're going to be doing this downstairs right over at
- 56:07Speaker 1: where Enough Ministries and this is really popular. This is
- 56:11Speaker 1: like a second or third year that they've been doing
- 56:13Speaker 1: this and they're getting a good crowd. So hey, why
- 56:16Speaker 1: now Also this coming Friday, my God, Tomorrow, Night to Shine.
- 56:23Speaker 1: Tim Tebow Foundation doing this at the Barry Elks Lodge
- 56:28Speaker 1: and frankly doing it all over the world.
- 56:30Speaker 3: You'll be there.
- 56:31Speaker 1: I'll be there with Andy. This is going to be amazing.
- 56:35Speaker 1: The Night to Shine is so cool. We are so
- 56:38Speaker 1: excited to celebrate all of our honored guests tomorrow. There
- 56:43Speaker 1: will be many there. Andy and I will be two
- 56:47Speaker 1: of many, all of the volunteers that have helped put
- 56:51Speaker 1: this together. Thank you to the Barry Elks Lodge and
- 56:55Speaker 1: of course the Faith Community Church. This is really going
- 56:58Speaker 1: to be something else. Fccbarry dot org slash Night to
- 57:03Speaker 1: Shine NTS if you want more info. But it's that
- 57:08Speaker 1: one night of the year where our special needs community
- 57:13Speaker 1: come together all around the world. This is a global thing, man.
- 57:16Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, We're just one here of many functions going
- 57:20Speaker 3: on in the same.
- 57:21Speaker 1: Night, and it's I mean we're talking horse drawn carriage rides, limousines,
- 57:26Speaker 1: red carpet, professional photographers, professional hair and makeup that's going on.
- 57:35Speaker 1: Amy's armoir has given so much to this for people
- 57:44Speaker 1: to have a beautiful dress, a nice suit, shoes, shirt,
- 57:51Speaker 1: bow ties, the whole nine yards, Amy Anderson.
- 57:55Speaker 3: And once nice to dress up and do something other
- 57:59Speaker 3: than dressing up and go into a restaurant with your partner.
- 58:02Speaker 3: This is dressing up for a cause. So you get
- 58:06Speaker 3: to dress up, you get to look sharp, you get
- 58:08Speaker 3: to feel important, and it's all for a benefit, which
- 58:13Speaker 3: makes it even better.
- 58:14Speaker 1: And the biggest thing that you're going to take away
- 58:17Speaker 1: from this, if you're a volunteer or if you're going
- 58:20Speaker 1: to be there as a buddy to someone, the biggest
- 58:23Speaker 1: thing that you'll you'll take away is lasting memories of
- 58:26Speaker 1: the impact that you had on others and making them
- 58:32Speaker 1: feel like they are the most important people on the
- 58:37Speaker 1: planet right now. And I wish that this was done
- 58:41Speaker 1: more than one night out of the year. I mean,
- 58:44Speaker 1: this is it's just amazing. They making people feel so
- 58:51Speaker 1: good and so excited. I mean, Andy's been talking about
- 58:55Speaker 1: this for a year.
- 58:56Speaker 3: Honestly, wouldn't be nice if things like that were for
- 58:58Speaker 3: anybody too, because so many people need to feel important
- 59:03Speaker 3: and feel excited and every Now, you know, like I
- 59:06Speaker 3: always say, Christmas time, everybody's so happy and cheerful. Wouldn't
- 59:09Speaker 3: it be nice if we did things more to bring
- 59:12Speaker 3: happiness and cheerfulness to just everybody. I think that'd be awesome.
- 59:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree.
- 59:19Speaker 3: Did you see what? Did you see what I got?
- 59:21Speaker 1: Please show that I'm.
- 59:23Speaker 3: Like thrilled about this. This was a gift that I
- 59:28Speaker 3: received from Greg and it's from over at GK Auto Detailing.
- 59:34Speaker 1: Our new sponsor. Yes, yes, I'm so excited.
- 59:38Speaker 3: Let me tell you. I don't want to sound like
- 59:39Speaker 3: an infomercial because I hate infomercials, but the bottom line
- 59:44Speaker 3: is I went there when he first started off. He
- 59:47Speaker 3: advertised on Facebook a little bit and I saw it
- 59:50Speaker 3: and I said, let me give him a try. He's
- 59:52Speaker 3: a new you know, new business starting up or whatever.
- 59:55Speaker 3: And I brought my truck down there and I got
- 59:58Speaker 3: an inside detailing. Now, I've gone to a lot of
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: places around here and gotten details, and a lot of
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: them are really good. But when you talk about precision,
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: like my truck is three years old and when people
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: see it they think that it's brand new because the
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: inside when you get in, it's like so perfectly clear,
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: all the way down to the inside corners. I mean,
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: this guy does such magic. And then I found out
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: that he does undercoating on the vehicles, and then I
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: found out he does truck bedliners in vehicles, and there's
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: like nothing he doesn't do engine cleaning, all that stuff.
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: So I go to him every spring to get the
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: winter grime off. I go every fall to make sure
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: that I'm ready for the winter and the undercoating, which
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: I get done every year. But then I go in
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: the middle of the winter because I hate the shit
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: inside the truck, on the mats and all that stuff.
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: And every time I go, I take the vehicle home
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: better than the day I bought it brand new. And
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: so I said to my husband one day, I said,
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: why didn't you take your car in? Because my husband
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: does his own detailing. He's very particular, so he brought
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: it in one comment. Yeah, and his car is relatively new,
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: and he brought it there for full detailing inside and out.
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: And when he picked it up, he says to me, Gee,
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: I'm not gonna lie. This is cleaner than the day
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: I picked it up from the dealer. I mean it was,
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: It's so spotless. So if you get a chance people.
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: He took a risk trying to do sponsorship here because
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: he wanted to see if that helps, because he doesn't
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: do a lot of advertising other than Facebook. And let
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: me tell you, he's amazing. He's amazing. You got to
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: give him a call. You got to give him just
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: one try, and I promise me, promise you you'll go back.
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: So Greg is an amazing, amazing guy.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: And you found this.
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I found it and I went and now my
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: neighbors go. I have friends that go, I send everybody
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: there and I say, look, trust me, try it just once.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: And now my neighbor's like, so is he available this
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: weekend for this?
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Is he?
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: And he does odd things to your vehicle too. If
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: you need them done, just ask if he can do it.
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: He's going to do it.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: It's so cool.
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: So yeah, so give him a shout, give him a try,
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: tell him G sent, and you tell him air it
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: Out sent you and you get a discount.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: I think, yeah, he's overing a discount if you mentioned
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: aired Out. Yeah, I'll be over there soon.
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: Yeah, you and I going to go over and say hi,
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: and we're going to book you. Your call will be
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: like thank you, because well your car needs it.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: Yep. I absolutely badly cannot wait for this. And let
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: me just say something I have. You know, I'll look
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: right in the camera. I have never known anyone more
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: particular than that guy right there, Gee, this guy. I
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: take am I lying, No, I take my shoes off yep.
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: Outside. Yeah, Well, if you're getting in my truck like
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: in this weather, you better wipe your feet before you
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: get in.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: I don't. I don't even step in your house. Yep.
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: No, you left your boots outside.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: I leave my boots outside.
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: For my house. You walk in my house that looks
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: like nobody lives there. It looks like a museum because
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: I keep everything so meticulous.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: Your truck is the same way.
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: Yes, yes, and absolutely, and.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: I can, I can. Let me just be honest with you.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: I wouldn't want to be him. I would not want
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: to be Greg. Greg Kelly.
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: Well, he he has he doesn't mind because it's always
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: clean because he cleans it all.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: That wouldn't want to be him. Having you as as
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: a customer of you, of all people.
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: You want to hear something scary. God, We were going
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: to Burlington with my neighbors and Tracy put her coffee cup,
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: which By the way, eating in my car is new
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: not allowed coffee as long as you're careful. Well, she
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: put the coffee cup up on my arm rest and
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: I didn't know it, and so I started driving and
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: I made a turn and her coffee fell all over
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: the place. This woman thought she should jump out of
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: the truck and run. I would have, and I wanted
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: to scream, But I had an appointment with Greg that weekend,
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: so I was like, Tracy, because he's this car is
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: going in on Saturday. I'm gonna forgive you. Oh And
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: when I got there, I said, Greg, my neighbors spilled
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: coffee here. He goes, Eh, no problem. When I picked
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: it up, Holy shit, it.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: Was like the show. Did he extract all that everything?
- 1:04:55Speaker 5: I mean?
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: And he even gets door jams and events he goes,
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: he takes and cleans inside. I mean, the guy is
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: so neurotic that when you get in your vehicle it's
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: better than when you picked it up at the dealer.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: Can Greg get that French fry that fell down there
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: sixteen years ago and has turned black? Can he get it?
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: If he has to unscrew your seats to do it,
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: he will, Oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah. As a matter
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: of fact, I just found out that he also does
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: buffing out on color, buffing on scratches. And I have
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: this tiny little scratch on my front side just I mean,
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: it's so tiny that it made me want to turn
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: the truck in for a new truck because I don't
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: like scratches on my vehicle. And when I spoke to
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: him last night, I was texting, I said, can you
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: get that scrape? He says, I will buff that color,
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: buff that out for you. When I says, holy shit,
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: another thing he can do.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: It's amazing.
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: It's amazing. So give him a try, people, just once. Uh,
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: that's enough of that infomercial, No.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: I mean, honestly, testimony for any of our sponsors, yes,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: any of ours.
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: And if you go on the business review and the
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: Yelp review, his testimonies are amazing.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: Great Facebook page.
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: Yeah. Which leads me up to this, being that we
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: have the weather that we have. If you look across
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: the street, you'll see all the lights are on at
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Nelson's Hardware. Yep, they're open when we have weather like this.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: If you need some help, you need a heater, you
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: need a space heater, an electric plane, sault you need
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: some salt for your driveway. You need a snowblower. They
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: got the ego snowblowers that are unbelievable, shovel say, and
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: whatever you need, they've got it over there.
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: And when you go there, scream out loud, where's Ethan?
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: Ask for Ethan, because Ethan knows where everything is, and
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: he knows what everything is. Ethan's like a sun to
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: so asked for saying, hey, where's Ethan? When Ethan comes in,
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: he'll be like, can I help you? Yeah, G told
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: me to come see you.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: Yeah, Ethan's great, good Actually everything, Oh my god, this
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: so helpful. They know what they're talking about. Country music
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: fans are a little angry right now, and I was
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: talking about that. I've been talking about this since the
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: Grammys on Sunday, Yes, and what was here? Can you
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: imagine being Can you imagine being the guy that says
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: and the winner.
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: Country Music Album of the Year and.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: The and the Grammy for the Best Country Album of
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: the Year goes to beyoncey what what what what?
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: It?
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: I just don't I don't understand.
- 1:08:08Speaker 3: I have two flip sides to that, Okay, flip side
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: number one is congratulations Beyonce, nice job you got the
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: Country Music Award. The other side of.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: It, although you shouldn't have.
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: Although although stay in your lane. But the flip side
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: is something that Beyonce said that I kind of agree with.
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: That she said in her speech, and I kind of
- 1:08:32Speaker 3: agree with it, is every music genre has their lane, okay.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: So country is country music, rock is rock music. You know,
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: gospel is gospel. Everything has its lane. And what she's
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: trying to do is show that you can leave your
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: specific genre of pop rock or whatever and do other
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: genres and be just as successful. So that's her side
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: of it, and I see it my personal opinion, staying
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: your fucking lane, okay, because country artists take a long
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: time to get to where they're at to perfect their genre, okay,
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: And for you to come in and say I'm gonna
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: do this on a whim and take an award that
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: belongs to the country music industry is kind of like
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: saying the nurse is going to operate on you because
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: she'd like to go try operating instead of just being
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: a nurse and being whatever. So I have two sides.
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: I hear her side and I acknowledge it, and I
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: hear my side, and I'm right because it's my side,
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: simple as that.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: Dirk's Bentley fifteen nominations.
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, and no wins. Yeah no, because we had
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: to give it to somebody who tried to experiment elsewhere,
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: and apparently from her speeches afterwards, she's planning on extending to.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: Other genres and now has launched this country concert.
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, well she's going to monopolize on it. Now,
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: why wouldn't you. I mean it's all about money, yeah,
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: of course, Okay, that's all it is.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: Eric Church also oh for ten Jamie Johnson nominated ten times. Ye,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: no wins, Nope, nope. Martina McBride I mentioned this the
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: other day, oh for fourteen, And Martina is so talented,
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: so talented, I mean fucking amazing. Like you and I
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: are not huge country music fans, but there's certain songs
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: that she does, certain songs that goth does, certain songs
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: that people do that you're like, yeah, that's that's classic. Listen.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: We all know the song Independence Day, Yes, and great song. Yes,
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: I've heard it too much any times yep, especially on
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: Foggy but it's yes, yes, but still it's a great song. Yeah.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: And for someone to be nominated fourteen times and never
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: winning a Grammy for Independence Day, that's outrageous.
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: Yeah, but then you've got Beyonce, who's dressed and the
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: slinkiest of slinky outfits with a boobs hanging out with
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: a cowboy hat on, and you're like, honey, stop, just stop.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: Toby Keith Oh for seven yep, Kenny Chesney Oh for six,
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: Kenny Chesney's awesome, Luke holmbs Oh for eight, Thomas Rhett
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: and Jason el Dean Oh for five yep, Eric Church
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: Oh for ten yep. You know, I don't I don't understand.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: I mean, and Joe was going off about this the
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: other day. Yeah, I mean, it's it's just the music
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: industry is it's it's really, you know, and you wonder
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: why it's like, you know, I I I ask, is
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: anyone can be watching the Grammys? No, no, people just
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: it's just it's it's it's just a popularity context. It's
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: not based on talent anyway.
- 1:12:11Speaker 3: Well, you know, it's part for the course in the US.
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: It's part for the course for the US. Right now,
- 1:12:16Speaker 3: everything is going topsy turvy, everything's getting all for clempt,
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: you know, and you're like the government is a mess,
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: and now the music industry is doing its own. Everything's just,
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: and I get it progressed, but some of this isn't progress. Sure, Okay,
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: some of this is statement makers. I mean, when you
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: give Elon Musk the the right to go into federal
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: spending right and get all what the f you know
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: what I mean? In the meantime, one of his soldiers, okay,
- 1:12:50Speaker 3: one of his sergeants or soldiers or whatever the hell
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: they're called, they clean out the whole federal building and
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: the guy's living on the third or second floor with
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: his family. It's like, what are you doing living in
- 1:13:04Speaker 3: the federal building. So there's just such a so many
- 1:13:07Speaker 3: things are going upside down, and it's hard to keep track.
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: It really is hard to keep track. And I've stopped
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: watching a lot of news, and then I get frustrated
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: because I don't know what's going on. So then I
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: put the news on and I say before like, I
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: put on Meet the Press every Sunday, because if it's
- 1:13:26Speaker 3: nine o'clock, it's Meet the Press on Sundays, okay, And
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: I put it on. And as I'm putting it on,
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: and I say to my husband, well, I'm going to
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: put this on, I'll probably go into a bad mood.
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: And five minutes into the show, I'm cursing, I'm getting upset,
- 1:13:39Speaker 3: and my husband's like, I'm going to shut this off
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: because this is really getting your blood pressure going, because
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: it's like, come on, people, where's the logic. Where's the
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: logic in politics? Where's the logic and music? Where's the
- 1:13:51Speaker 3: logic in just being a person?
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: These days?
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: You know, Oh, you're got to be afraid of saying this,
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: afraid of that. Cancel me. You know how many times
- 1:13:59Speaker 3: I've said that, Cancel me. I'm going to say what
- 1:14:01Speaker 3: I have to say. I'm sixty two years old. If
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: you don't like what I say, either shut it off
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: or walk away. Yeah, that's it.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: Did you hear did you get the memo that President
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: Trump wants to turn Gasa yes into a luxury resort destination.
- 1:14:21Speaker 3: Yes? Yes, the man is in. I can't say it,
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: it's not appropriate. The man is very different from what
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: the US needs.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: You're not have you've seen Gosa?
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:14:34Speaker 5: Picture?
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: Have you seen pictures of Gasa.
- 1:14:37Speaker 3: It's it's gonna look stunning with a huge luxury place
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: covered in dust.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: Gasa will never be a luxury plussort destination effor.
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: Well, for the first, we need to have the United
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: States with Canada so that Canada can be become one
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: of our states. That's important. Come on, but Trump says
- 1:15:04Speaker 3: that they have to be. If Trump says it, it's
- 1:15:08Speaker 3: got to be true. Did you see him this morning
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: breaking news? He did the National National Prayer Breakfast and
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: they did breaking news and he stood up and he
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: did he did a talk at the National Breakfast for
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: religion and stuff, and he talked about how God, God
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: came down and protected that gun shot that hit his
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: ear and that it didn't mess up his hair.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: During breakfast, we're talking about this.
- 1:15:44Speaker 3: He's talking about it, and he said, the guy shot
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: so close that it's like taking a one foot paw
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: into the hole. He says, that's how close he was,
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: and yet he missed because God was on his side.
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: So there you have it.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: People, you are spiking the blood pressure.
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: Well, because this man is so blessed that I'm trying
- 1:16:09Speaker 3: to find a way to travel to Washington and just
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: be able to touch his jacket to say that I
- 1:16:16Speaker 3: was there. I touched Donald Trump's jacket because he's so amazing.
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: I know, I'm pissing people off.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Jicktok has a beauty hack that is has been around,
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: It took off last year, and it is now back
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: in the news apparently.
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: Tell me because I could use any beauty help I
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: can get.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: I think you look very good, buddy, Well, just like
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: a little bit of eyepuffer and makeup. Does it just
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: like you complimented me? I think a couple of weeks
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: ago you said, jad my god, you look absolutely amazing,
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: and you did.
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: You looked like you my hero that day.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, I'm saying back to you, thank you. So
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: do you you look amazing?
- 1:17:01Speaker 3: Thank you? I look good in blue according to people.
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: I look good in.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: Blue now according to Glenn Well, yes, beauty influencers on TikTok.
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: Glenn, it's gotta be true if it's from If it's
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: from influence.
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: Of course, claim that you should rub banana peals all
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: over your face. It's like a kind of like a natural.
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: BOTOXA what what say that again?
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: That you should rub banana appeals all over your face?
- 1:17:34Speaker 3: Does that howp exfoliate?
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: It's I guess so, huh, I guess so? And it
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: gives you it's like a natural again, like a natural botox.
- 1:17:44Speaker 3: Now my question is if you do that in the summer,
- 1:17:49Speaker 3: when you go outside, you're gonna get swarmed with flies
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: and bees. You might be well, maybe that's part of
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: the process.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: At the very least, you're gonna smell like bananas.
- 1:17:58Speaker 3: Okay, Well, if you're crazy, you might as well smell
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: like bananas.
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: I don't know why this is. So it's a thing
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: that is apparently good for your skin. I say, just
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: eat them.
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: Well, that's it. Eat it and you get that natural
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: stuff inside, and then you rub it on your face
