- 0:00Speaker 1: It's the Mark Simone Show, Live from the wo R
- 0:04Speaker 1: Life Back Studios. Well with us right now. The brilliant author,
- 0:11Speaker 1: best selling author, columnist, and master tweeter. Follow her on
- 0:16Speaker 1: Twitter and culture at Twitter even better substacks. You got
- 0:19Speaker 1: podcasts and videos and all kinds of stuff and culter
- 0:22Speaker 1: at substack, and make sure you check out her Rumble channel.
- 0:25Speaker 1: A lot of good stuff up there, and culture at
- 0:28Speaker 1: Rubble and Culture.
- 0:29Speaker 2: How you doing fantastic? How are you, Marximone?
- 0:33Speaker 1: I'm good. Hey, I was watching the JD Vance. I
- 0:36Speaker 1: don't know why he did it, but he went on
- 0:37Speaker 1: the View and there of course about it, dreaming Adam.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Now you used to go on that show. People don't
- 0:44Speaker 1: realize that show used to be normal, like you would
- 0:46Speaker 1: be on and you know, conservatives, liberals, they would have
- 0:50Speaker 1: everybody on. What changed? Welcome? The whole world is different now.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Well, it's not just the view, I mean, it's all TV.
- 0:58Speaker 2: It's weird to imagine. But I used to do ABC, NBC, CBS,
- 1:02Speaker 2: the morning shows, MSNBC, CNN. But both both left and right.
- 1:09Speaker 2: I guess viewers are unlike you and me, aren't hate watchers.
- 1:14Speaker 2: They do not want to hear from someone they don't
- 1:16Speaker 2: agree with. So it's really become extremely segmented. And you know,
- 1:22Speaker 2: I salute the view for having JD. Vans on. I
- 1:25Speaker 2: bet it was a lot of fun.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Yeah, he seemed to enjoy it. There were these four
- 1:30Speaker 1: clucking hands like trying to fite him every I mean,
- 1:34Speaker 1: the other problems they have you on. They ask you
- 1:36Speaker 1: a loaded question, as you start to answer, they cut
- 1:38Speaker 1: you off on the third word and start screaming at you.
- 1:40Speaker 1: They do that in the congressional hearings too.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Yes, that's well, it's rough when there are four four posts,
- 1:48Speaker 2: all of whom kind of want to be the star
- 1:50Speaker 2: there and want to get their word in edgewise. But
- 1:54Speaker 2: still I don't think I don't think it's intentional. I
- 1:57Speaker 2: think that's just the way it happens when you're four
- 1:58Speaker 2: hosts and one one guest, without without someone operating the
- 2:03Speaker 2: whip hand. But I don't think they realize that it
- 2:06Speaker 2: does not It does not come off very well. It
- 2:09Speaker 2: makes the poor, the poor guests look like the belieguered victim.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Yeah, hey, we haven't talked to you since Elon Musk
- 2:16Speaker 1: became a trillionaire. Why do the why does the left
- 2:20Speaker 1: hate this guy so much. What is all that about?
- 2:25Speaker 2: Well, a couple of things. I mean one obviously because
- 2:29Speaker 2: he endorsed Trump. But it's not just that. There just
- 2:32Speaker 2: is this. It comes from the Democratic socialists of America.
- 2:36Speaker 2: These young people, who, as I will subtly allude to
- 2:40Speaker 2: in my column today, do not have developed prefrontal core texas.
- 2:47Speaker 2: They don't have impulse control. They have very poor decision making.
- 2:51Speaker 2: This was proved by a study up at Dartmouth I
- 2:54Speaker 2: don't know a decade ago, and has been reconfirmed many times.
- 2:57Speaker 2: An adult. A teenager's brain doesn't fully develop until around
- 3:03Speaker 2: their mid twenties, and specifically risk taking, impulse control, the
- 3:08Speaker 2: rewards center, and so they're very easy to manipulate, or
- 3:14Speaker 2: as Tawana Braway said, manipsinate. And they're all for for
- 3:18Speaker 2: all these socialists, Oh, free stuff, free stuff, They're going
- 3:21Speaker 2: to get free stuff, and we hate billionaires. They're doing
- 3:23Speaker 2: this to us. It's just utterly moronic, and the slightest
- 3:26Speaker 2: glance at the world shows you that with very few exceptions.
- 3:32Speaker 2: I mean, yes, there are some shysters. I won't bother
- 3:37Speaker 2: mentioning them, but for one thing, I really think we
- 3:40Speaker 2: need to get rid of the carried interest loophole, utterly
- 3:43Speaker 2: completely unfair. Hedge fund managers, et cetera should be paying
- 3:47Speaker 2: the same tax rate that you and I do, marximone,
- 3:49Speaker 2: so that's outrageous. There are a few scams here and there,
- 3:52Speaker 2: but by and large, people become billionaires from making the
- 3:55Speaker 2: world a vastly, vastly better place and bullying thousands, sometimes
- 4:02Speaker 2: in Eulon's case, hundreds of thousands of people. Well, you
- 4:05Speaker 2: have the people that I think an average citizen ought
- 4:11Speaker 2: to be angry at are government workers. I mean, you
- 4:14Speaker 2: get the triple whammy with them. You're paying their salaries,
- 4:18Speaker 2: they're doing things we don't want done, and they're paid
- 4:22Speaker 2: more than anyone in the private sector for anything vaguely
- 4:25Speaker 2: resembling similar work. But they get to vote for their bosses,
- 4:30Speaker 2: which is the Democratic Party. It's absurd. We should not
- 4:33Speaker 2: have public sector unions. If you work for the government,
- 4:35Speaker 2: you get a lot of benefits. One of them should
- 4:37Speaker 2: be one of the trade offs is you don't get
- 4:39Speaker 2: paid as much. It's completely the opposite, and you absolutely,
- 4:43Speaker 2: one hundred percent cannot join a union. In any event,
- 4:47Speaker 2: those are the people who are ripping us off and
- 4:50Speaker 2: living like kings, certainly compared to what they're contributing to
- 4:54Speaker 2: the world, which is really just making the world worse.
- 4:56Speaker 2: But instead these young people just hate. They hate exactly
- 5:00Speaker 2: the wrong people. It's Orwellian.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Yeah. You know there with Elizabeth Warren screaming about Elon
- 5:07Speaker 1: Musk and she said, why just three hundred billion, we
- 5:09Speaker 1: could solve the homelessness problem. How many times has the
- 5:12Speaker 1: government spent three hundred billion on homelessness and that gets worse?
- 5:18Speaker 1: You know, the only way to solve it is stops
- 5:20Speaker 1: spending the money and let Elon Musk figure it out.
- 5:23Speaker 1: He could figure it out.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I think a kindergartener could figure it out,
- 5:30Speaker 2: assuming kindergartener does not have the poor impulse control and
- 5:34Speaker 2: reward center of a late teenager to early twenties person. No,
- 5:41Speaker 2: it's a simple formula. Anything you tax, you get less of.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Anything you subsidize, you get more of. We are subsidizing
- 5:50Speaker 2: drug addicted homeless people, and we're taxing productive, useful people
- 5:54Speaker 2: who are making the world better.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the same thing with housing too. They don't
- 6:00Speaker 1: they I mean, nobody is worse at providing housing than
- 6:03Speaker 1: the government. You're right, they subsidize the demand, but not
- 6:06Speaker 1: the solution. So they're regulating tax to death the homeowners
- 6:12Speaker 1: and the.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Particularly with housing. I'm glad you mentioned this because you've
- 6:16Speaker 2: fed into my area of expertise. A big problem with housing,
- 6:23Speaker 2: with driving the price of housing up, is that we
- 6:25Speaker 2: have forty million illegal aliens. We could get rid of
- 6:30Speaker 2: the demand right there and reduce the number of child rapes, murders,
- 6:35Speaker 2: drug dealing all in one. Swellfoop.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Yeah, we're talking about an culter. Hey tell people this story.
- 6:41Speaker 1: This is an amazing story about the San Francisco Giants
- 6:45Speaker 1: make the players wear these pride hats and some of
- 6:48Speaker 1: them wrote some Bible scripture on it. They're going to
- 6:50Speaker 1: get fined over it. They're getting in trouble for that.
- 6:53Speaker 2: It's that is astonishing enough. And as with these stories
- 6:56Speaker 2: of heinous crimes, it drives me crazy that we hear
- 7:01Speaker 2: about these, you know, faceless entities that the National Baseball
- 7:05Speaker 2: Association is going to find them. Who who made those decisions?
- 7:09Speaker 2: I want to know who? That's point one point two.
- 7:12Speaker 2: What is a baseball team doing, you know, marching or
- 7:18Speaker 2: supporting decorating for Pride months? Fine, you know, have your
- 7:22Speaker 2: Pride months. This is a baseball team. I think this
- 7:26Speaker 2: is worse than putting you know, Donald Trump or Coyla
- 7:30Speaker 2: Harris for president on the baseball cap. This is a
- 7:34Speaker 2: cultural issue. Why are you getting involved in this? It's
- 7:38Speaker 2: days are hardly at any risk these days, they kind
- 7:41Speaker 2: of rule the rust and the verse that these Christians
- 7:45Speaker 2: put on the baseball cups, and I think it was
- 7:47Speaker 2: three or four of them, is specifically about verse in Genesis.
- 7:51Speaker 2: It's after the flood and God says to Noah he
- 7:55Speaker 2: makes a covenant with mankind, I will never will I
- 7:58Speaker 2: will never try to destroy you again. And to remind
- 8:01Speaker 2: me of my promise, whenever there's there's a huge rainstorm,
- 8:05Speaker 2: this rainbow will appear. So it's a symbol of God's rainbow,
- 8:09Speaker 2: symbol of God's covenant with man and the gay rights
- 8:13Speaker 2: activists I found the most astonishing. They're just like blanketing
- 8:18Speaker 2: the airwaves by saying these players have defaced defaced their
- 8:24Speaker 2: baseball caps with a biblical verse, by suggesting that the
- 8:28Speaker 2: rainbow belongs to God and not to us. So I'm thinking,
- 8:33Speaker 2: I don't know what other sins these guys have in
- 8:35Speaker 2: their lives, but that's about as bad as it gets.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Yourself above God, whoa I wouldn't want to be in
- 8:46Speaker 2: their shoes on judgment day.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Well, hey, we're talking before about the crazy mom, Donnie.
- 8:52Speaker 1: You know when AOC came along, they said, Ash, it's
- 8:55Speaker 1: just a flash in the pan. Well it's years later.
- 8:57Speaker 1: She's still as strong as ever, this mom, Donnie. I
- 9:00Speaker 1: don't think it's going away. And there's a whole new
- 9:01Speaker 1: crop of nutjobs running for our legislature and he's backing them.
- 9:06Speaker 1: But this doesn't look like it's going to end, this
- 9:08Speaker 1: terrible cycle we're going through.
- 9:12Speaker 2: No it is. It doesn't look like it's going to end.
- 9:17Speaker 2: I mean, I guess who knows there are cycles. I
- 9:21Speaker 2: do not think that. As we know from I don't
- 9:25Speaker 2: know a thousand years of history, socialism doesn't work. So
- 9:29Speaker 2: perhaps there is some hope and the pre frontal cortex
- 9:33Speaker 2: is developing at some point. But then, of course, then
- 9:35Speaker 2: we have a next generation coming along. But I think
- 9:38Speaker 2: the bigger problem is yes, once again immigration. I mean
- 9:43Speaker 2: the people who are who are fueling these movements and
- 9:46Speaker 2: the candidates themselves. Many of the judges denouncing Trump immigration,
- 9:53Speaker 2: judges refusing to follow our laws, selected representatives protecting theft
- 10:00Speaker 2: of our of our government systems in Minnesota, for example, Wow,
- 10:06Speaker 2: a lot of them are immigrants.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Wow?
- 10:09Speaker 2: Hey, and how many immigrants should be criminals? There's a
- 10:12Speaker 2: quick quiz for you. How many zero zero zero? Mark?
- 10:18Speaker 2: These are people who don't already live here. We can
- 10:22Speaker 2: take them or leave them. If they're criminals, why have
- 10:24Speaker 2: we brought them in?
- 10:25Speaker 1: Okay, we got our own criminals. We don't need to
- 10:28Speaker 1: import any But everybody follow and culture on Twitter and
- 10:33Speaker 1: even better substacts. You've got videos and interviews and podcasts
- 10:37Speaker 1: and all sorts of stuff there, and what's on Tell
- 10:38Speaker 1: everybody what's on your Rumble channel.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Have a very important interview this week with the man
- 10:47Speaker 2: who was who has exposed some of these candidates you
- 10:51Speaker 2: were just talking about. And I'll probably start with my
- 10:54Speaker 2: five stories. You might have missed an interview the great
- 10:57Speaker 2: John Levine, And I've a baffo inter you coming next week.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Oh and so the new stuff is right.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Pm on Thursdays Rumble. It's free, it has ads, and
- 11:07Speaker 2: then a day or two later, whenever I get around
- 11:09Speaker 2: to it, it gets posted on subsack where you can
- 11:12Speaker 2: watch with no ads.
- 11:15Speaker 1: All right, let's go to Rumble and type in a cult.
- 11:17Speaker 1: You can see all tho stuff that's up there. It's
- 11:18Speaker 1: great stuff. And Culter, thanks for being with us.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Good to talk to, Mark Simon, bodbye, all.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Right, take care. Oh everybody, Uh, don't forget coming up

- 11:32Speaker 1: is back. He's here every morning, every morning, six to
- 11:35Speaker 1: ten am. It's Curtisliwa Larry Menti on seven ten WR
