- 2:04Speaker 4: What's up? But love?
- 2:05Speaker 3: It's all good. How y'all doing?
- 2:07Speaker 5: Man?
- 2:07Speaker 3: Love y'all?
- 2:08Speaker 4: That was good?
- 2:09Speaker 3: Glorious, glorious, glorious. What's good? Trapping a building hoping you build?
- 2:17Speaker 3: Men were gone? We're done.
- 2:23Speaker 4: That's a fact, man, first and foremost.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Man.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Congratulations man, you know it's been a whirlwind for you,
- 2:31Speaker 2: I know, going on to Breakfast Club, almost two million
- 2:33Speaker 2: views on your Breakfast Club interview, you know, pushing the
- 2:37Speaker 2: culture forward and becoming a superstar.
- 2:41Speaker 4: At the same time.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Congratulations on all your success that you have been able
- 2:45Speaker 2: to achieve.
- 2:46Speaker 4: But more importantly congratulating.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Congratulations on being able to educate and uplifts so many
- 2:51Speaker 2: different people. Man, we had a networking event yesterday and
- 2:54Speaker 2: you know, a bunch of people came up to us, like, Yo,
- 2:57Speaker 2: you saved my life. Wall Street Trappers episode I started
- 3:00Speaker 2: with his episode episode forty four. I found Wall Street
- 3:03Speaker 2: Trapper through your leisure. I got there at least twenty
- 3:05Speaker 2: five times. So you have a tremendous impact in the streets,
- 3:10Speaker 2: in the culture, and in the world. So congratulations on
- 3:14Speaker 2: your on your success. Uh many many blessings and continued
- 3:19Speaker 2: success in the future.
- 3:21Speaker 4: And we are very proud of your ascension. What what
- 3:25Speaker 4: what's the model?
- 3:26Speaker 3: Man? Wall Street looks like us now?
- 3:27Speaker 4: Right?
- 3:27Speaker 3: All Street looks like us now, Bro, I mean you
- 3:31Speaker 3: already know what you're doing.
- 3:32Speaker 6: Man, Wall Street calling you personally, Man, you're different.
- 3:37Speaker 3: You know. The dope part is when they call I
- 3:39Speaker 3: call my brothers. That's a fact, you know what I'm saying.
- 3:42Speaker 3: And when they call me, I call my brothers like
- 3:44Speaker 3: I put I put y'all on a boy. So y'all
- 3:47Speaker 3: can head, you know. But more than anything, man, like
- 3:51Speaker 3: everybody on rashad, you know, I appreciate that brother, you know,
- 3:55Speaker 3: I always said, man ain't a Wall Street trap without
- 3:57Speaker 3: ey l Man. I was doing my thing. But there's
- 4:00Speaker 3: not one thing that y'all do that. Y'all don't say trap. Trap.
- 4:06Speaker 3: I don't care. What interview y'all got coming is trap.
- 4:09Speaker 3: You wanta come to this interview. If I'm not able
- 4:11Speaker 3: to come, it's trapped. Come get on the line right quick.
- 4:14Speaker 3: I'm about to throw your name out there. You get this,
- 4:16Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. And so that's the type
- 4:18Speaker 3: of brotherhood, And that's the type of thing that I love.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Being a part of the impact to the people is amazing, right,
- 4:25Speaker 3: it's amazing. I love being able to impact people. And
- 4:29Speaker 3: I love being able to say that I'm an only child, bro,
- 4:32Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying. So I grew up all
- 4:34Speaker 3: all my brothers who I call brothers. We was all
- 4:37Speaker 3: some gangster stuff together, you know what I'm saying. So
- 4:40Speaker 3: now for for me not to have to risk my
- 4:43Speaker 3: life no more, for me not have to risk my
- 4:45Speaker 3: freedom no more. That's the real gangster stuff. So my
- 4:50Speaker 3: brothers helped me be better as a man. My brothers
- 4:52Speaker 3: helped me, you know, learn how to do business better,
- 4:56Speaker 3: learn how to be more impactful.
- 4:58Speaker 4: Learn.
- 4:59Speaker 3: I watched my brother put their families together, watched my
- 5:01Speaker 3: brother's build a business and be impactful to the world
- 5:05Speaker 3: and bring me on that journey. So man, like, with
- 5:08Speaker 3: everything that I'm getting, y'all went in a breakfast club
- 5:11Speaker 3: before me, you know what I'm saying. So when y'all went,
- 5:14Speaker 3: y'all was so impactful. Rashad throws the Wall Street trapping
- 5:19Speaker 3: name out there that wind up getting a clip in
- 5:23Speaker 3: my mind, it was already prepared for me, you know
- 5:27Speaker 3: what I'm saying. So when y'all went in the room,
- 5:29Speaker 3: y'all keep the door down. I just followed up, and
- 5:32Speaker 3: hopefully my follow up opened the door for somebody else. Brouh. So,
- 5:35Speaker 3: even though I'm doing my thing as an individual entity,
- 5:39Speaker 3: everything that I do and everything that y'all do always
- 5:42Speaker 3: help us tie back in because we all on the
- 5:44Speaker 3: same journey. Bruh. So, man, just you know I'm gonna
- 5:48Speaker 3: get y'all the same thing. I love y'all, I appreciate y'all, man,
- 5:51Speaker 3: And the only reason I'm not a LA was because
- 5:53Speaker 3: I had my daughter and we just had to.
- 5:55Speaker 4: Do that, each one, each one, teacher.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Man, So let's jump into this before we start, we
- 6:05Speaker 2: just want to welcome everybody, and if you're not familiar
- 6:08Speaker 2: with what's going on here, we're going to talk about
- 6:12Speaker 2: stock marketing. I don't even want to say for beginners,
- 6:14Speaker 2: because it's not just for beginners, but just the basis.
- 6:16Speaker 4: You know, a lot of times we talk very high
- 6:18Speaker 4: level and it might go over people's heads.
- 6:21Speaker 2: So we want to just kind of most like get again,
- 6:23Speaker 2: reset the room, and you know, bring it back to
- 6:26Speaker 2: the core essence of it and what we what we're
- 6:30Speaker 2: doing here is once a month we have what's called
- 6:32Speaker 2: open enrollment. So e y L University is our private school.
- 6:36Speaker 2: So we have a public school which is earn your
- 6:38Speaker 2: leisure and that's you know, it's free. It's free information,
- 6:42Speaker 2: which I think nobody has given more free information than
- 6:44Speaker 2: us on Instagram every single day, on YouTube, every single day,
- 6:48Speaker 2: on podcast outlets all over from everything from real estate
- 6:52Speaker 2: to truck games, everything. But some people just need more
- 6:56Speaker 2: of a community feel and more of a private education.
- 7:00Speaker 2: We created Eyo University and our goal for EUI University
- 7:03Speaker 2: is to really have the largest.
- 7:04Speaker 4: Online educational platform in the year in the world.
- 7:07Speaker 2: And with that, you know, it's weekly webinar so we
- 7:10Speaker 2: do this every single week with his Zoom classes, and
- 7:13Speaker 2: people actually get to ask questions and get their questions
- 7:16Speaker 2: answered as opposed to just watching a podcast. So we
- 7:19Speaker 2: have a hundred of those archived. We have monthly financial
- 7:22Speaker 2: planning calls with me. We have biweekly real estate calls
- 7:26Speaker 2: an MG, the mortgage guy once again with it Soon
- 7:29Speaker 2: and IT, you know, gets questions answer things that nature.
- 7:31Speaker 2: We have a home Buyers Blueprint MG, the Mortgage Guys
- 7:34Speaker 2: home Boys group fifteen hours of content.
- 7:37Speaker 4: Everything we need to know about buying a home.
- 7:39Speaker 2: They have a Facebook group with over six thousand people,
- 7:41Speaker 2: and inside that Facebook group is actually twenty Infinity groups,
- 7:44Speaker 2: so people actually network and build with each other. It's
- 7:47Speaker 2: crypto clubs, it's stock clubs, everything.
- 7:49Speaker 4: Thanks.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Can I tell you something really quickly about the Infinity groups.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Young man walked up to me yesterday.
- 7:54Speaker 7: I'm not gonna mention his name, but came up to
- 7:56Speaker 7: me and said, I want to talk to you about
- 7:58Speaker 7: my accountability group. And that was something that we started
- 8:01Speaker 7: early on. We broke into the book club said I
- 8:04Speaker 7: was home this twelve months ago. I got in my
- 8:07Speaker 7: accountability group. Not only in my living my best life,
- 8:12Speaker 7: but I'm actually teaching people how to learn the stock market.
- 8:15Speaker 7: I said, this is incredible, Like this is incredible, Like
- 8:19Speaker 7: that's the type of life change of information that's that.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Well, real quick because I want to get to this
- 8:23Speaker 2: stock but real quick, you bring up Another gentleman came
- 8:26Speaker 2: to me. He said, you know, it's so crazy because
- 8:28Speaker 2: like when Ian said, like, if you ask about that
- 8:30Speaker 2: for five thousand dollars.
- 8:31Speaker 4: And they're going to tell you, they say, I'm gonna
- 8:33Speaker 4: pray for you.
- 8:33Speaker 2: He said, like last year, I spent three months in
- 8:36Speaker 2: jail because I couldn't come with fifteen hundred dollars worth
- 8:38Speaker 2: of bail money and none of my family and friends
- 8:42Speaker 2: had fifteen hundred dollars.
- 8:43Speaker 4: So I spent three months in jail. He said.
- 8:45Speaker 2: I got out and I tapped into EUO and now
- 8:49Speaker 2: I got my stock account. He said, I got about
- 8:52Speaker 2: to buy my first multi family home and all of that.
- 8:54Speaker 2: So financial literacy is life with death thing.
- 8:57Speaker 3: This is crazy. That story's crazy.
- 9:00Speaker 6: There was a gentleman who actually showed me a cash
- 9:03Speaker 6: app that you sent him. I think seven months ago
- 9:07Speaker 6: you and MG sent him a cash app and he
- 9:10Speaker 6: said that moment, it was the first time you realize
- 9:13Speaker 6: somebody believed in him, and so we put it into
- 9:16Speaker 6: an investment account and now he's investing with a group
- 9:20Speaker 6: of friends. Like I'm talking about, these testimonies don't just happen.
- 9:24Speaker 6: I mean it's incredibly literally showed me like I ain't
- 9:27Speaker 6: gonna say your name, your government, but it was there.
- 9:29Speaker 3: You actually after them, and so did the MG man.
- 9:31Speaker 4: So to you, it's a whole vibe, man.
- 9:34Speaker 2: So all of that is is it Eyo University, including
- 9:38Speaker 2: our private events. Now, so we had we had a
- 9:40Speaker 2: private networking event yesterday in La which we're referring to,
- 9:44Speaker 2: and I mean it was so crazy, man. We had
- 9:47Speaker 2: nineteen keys there, we had Himpip one hundred dead Alex
- 9:50Speaker 2: good Energy there, our boy Shaggy, We had Miss Business.
- 9:55Speaker 2: We had a tear Blair Mike when she so just
- 9:59Speaker 2: to be able to be in that kind of room
- 10:01Speaker 2: with all those kind of people in that when that
- 10:02Speaker 2: was only for Eyle University members.
- 10:04Speaker 4: So you know, we just keep building this community. Man.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Shout out to everybody that came. Shout out to open
- 10:09Speaker 2: the Bay areas in their heavy hat Prinshaw, Shout out
- 10:12Speaker 2: to my boys from Crenshaw that was in there.
- 10:14Speaker 4: And it's just a vibe. Man.
- 10:15Speaker 2: So this is an open enrollment, long story short, and
- 10:18Speaker 2: you get to see it for yourself and if you're interested.
- 10:22Speaker 2: The price right now six ninety nine. It's extremely undervalue.
- 10:26Speaker 2: That's an understatement. That is forty eight hours. We are
- 10:30Speaker 2: raising the price because we are investing in infrastructure, we
- 10:32Speaker 2: have an employee, we're getting more employees, we're hiring more professors,
- 10:37Speaker 2: and we're just expanding the program. So it's six ninety
- 10:40Speaker 2: nine annual and that's good until Friday, twelve am Eastern
- 10:45Speaker 2: Standard time for forty eight hours. I'll put the link.
- 10:47Speaker 2: If you're interested, we'd love to see you on the
- 10:49Speaker 2: other side. So track, let's get into this. My brother
- 10:53Speaker 2: stock investing one oh one.
- 10:57Speaker 4: You would like to start or would.
- 10:58Speaker 2: You like to meet a kind of profit for you?
- 11:03Speaker 3: No, it's it's it's cool with me, man.
- 11:05Speaker 4: I want.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Can I do uh ten scholarships at five hundred dollars?
- 11:14Speaker 4: On me? Bro? Gotcha on me? Gotcha appreciate that ten
- 11:20Speaker 4: of them appreciate that?
- 11:23Speaker 3: Ten up. So we'll do that. Man, I don't know
- 11:27Speaker 3: how we're gonna do it, dude. We got people in here,
- 11:31Speaker 3: we got people in here, So we'll have somebody take
- 11:35Speaker 3: some names. We'll get to that.
- 11:38Speaker 4: We'll do that the end.
- 11:39Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, So so we talk about stocks. One
- 11:46Speaker 3: the one man we're talking about understanding that is so
- 11:51Speaker 3: we understand that we put our money in a bank, right,
- 11:54Speaker 3: and the bank gives us nothing on that, right. And
- 11:58Speaker 3: so for me, and that's in the stock market was
- 12:01Speaker 3: a way for me to say, how do I do
- 12:05Speaker 3: two things? One gain ownership and businesses that I know
- 12:09Speaker 3: and love and to make my money grow for me? Right,
- 12:14Speaker 3: So let's talk about just from the beginning, right. One
- 12:19Speaker 3: of the questions people often ask me is like trap,
- 12:22Speaker 3: like what are the best brokers you accounts? Like, let's
- 12:24Speaker 3: just start there, right, because you can't even invest in
- 12:28Speaker 3: the market if you don't have an account, right, So
- 12:32Speaker 3: let's start that. And here's one of the things that
- 12:33Speaker 3: I learned on the journey, like many of many of
- 12:37Speaker 3: our people really never even had bank accounts, like not
- 12:42Speaker 3: even bank accounts, right, So we let's start with let's
- 12:45Speaker 3: just have a broker's account. And so one of the
- 12:50Speaker 3: things people ask is like, what are the best ones
- 12:54Speaker 3: to have? So let's start there, right. So of course
- 12:57Speaker 3: a lot of people will go with the TDM meror
- 12:59Speaker 3: I mean with the robin hoods or the inn one finances, right,
- 13:03Speaker 3: and these are good, these are cool, but they they
- 13:07Speaker 3: don't offer a lot of other things that you would
- 13:09Speaker 3: need to get in the game and learn a lot
- 13:12Speaker 3: of things. So even if you went on robbin Hood,
- 13:14Speaker 3: you will see that it's missing over one thousand stocks,
- 13:18Speaker 3: right that you can't be a part of. Like one
- 13:20Speaker 3: of my favorites I own is LV and Major or
- 13:22Speaker 3: you can get it under LV and U y. I
- 13:26Speaker 3: can't hear you saying summer Shot, oh all right, and
- 13:31Speaker 3: you can't even get it on robin Hood, right, So
- 13:35Speaker 3: I preferably Now, I'm not an advocate for none of these.
- 13:38Speaker 3: I'm not getting paid for none of these. But I
- 13:41Speaker 3: like TDM Merror Trade. I like t the Merror Trade
- 13:44Speaker 3: because they give you so many different tools, so many updates,
- 13:49Speaker 3: so many so many updated information, so much updated information. Also,
- 13:55Speaker 3: what happens with robbin Hood is if you may not
- 13:58Speaker 3: notice it, but if you look at Tdmmerior Trade and
- 14:02Speaker 3: you looked at ribbin Hood, the prices would be different.
- 14:07Speaker 3: So robin Hood has a lag and they get paid
- 14:10Speaker 3: for that, right, They're getting paid for that split right,
- 14:13Speaker 3: And what happens is you're buying it at a higher
- 14:16Speaker 3: price on robbin hood than you would on a tdmmerior
- 14:20Speaker 3: trade on the e trade where you're getting those real
- 14:23Speaker 3: time results, right, And so that's where robbin hood is
- 14:26Speaker 3: actually making money at So you think it's free, but
- 14:29Speaker 3: you're paying for you're paying for with everything that every
- 14:33Speaker 3: time you buy something, you're paying for that, right, And
- 14:37Speaker 3: so that's something that people don't even much know. So
- 14:41Speaker 3: I will always tell people again make the switch over
- 14:45Speaker 3: to tdmmeror trade E trade Charles Swath Fidelity, right because
- 14:52Speaker 3: of because of that fact, the one of the real
- 14:55Speaker 3: time trades or the real time investments, but also more
- 15:00Speaker 3: access to information, like you can go on te your
- 15:03Speaker 3: meritrade and you can you buy a company. Excuse me,
- 15:06Speaker 3: you all what I mean to hear that, But like
- 15:07Speaker 3: when you buy a company, immediately you start getting reports
- 15:11Speaker 3: of that company. Everything that company does, they immediately just
- 15:15Speaker 3: start sending your reports on what that company is doing. Right,
- 15:18Speaker 3: So now you don't have to look for when the
- 15:19Speaker 3: earners report is. You're automatically going to get into it.
- 15:23Speaker 3: As soon as that company has a voting situation. You're
- 15:26Speaker 3: automatically going to get that information right. And I want
- 15:29Speaker 3: you to understand something too, like we're not just buying stocks,
- 15:32Speaker 3: We're actually buying part ownership in a company. Like let's
- 15:36Speaker 3: understand that we're not just buying stocks, We're not just
- 15:39Speaker 3: buying a piece of paper of a digital people. We're
- 15:42Speaker 3: actually buying part ownership in a business where we're entitled
- 15:49Speaker 3: to profits and assets that that company has, Like we're
- 15:56Speaker 3: entitled to that right. Also, what I don't like about
- 16:01Speaker 3: the robbin hood is anytime I'm dealing with my money,
- 16:06Speaker 3: I want to be able to talk to somebody. I
- 16:07Speaker 3: don't have to email you because you don't understand the
- 16:10Speaker 3: frustration that you don't understand my concern. But what I
- 16:13Speaker 3: got going on right, And again, I'm not saying like,
- 16:17Speaker 3: don't do robbin hood at all. I'm just saying theyre
- 16:21Speaker 3: are better avenues when you want to take this series.
- 16:24Speaker 3: Like me, I don't take my money for fake and
- 16:26Speaker 3: I don't take my money to play with you know
- 16:28Speaker 3: what I'm saying. So I'm gonna be with somebody. If
- 16:30Speaker 3: I have an issue, I can get on the phone
- 16:33Speaker 3: and call tdmeror trade. I can get on the phone
- 16:35Speaker 3: and call e trade. I can get on the phone
- 16:38Speaker 3: and call shall swab and talk to somebody about something
- 16:42Speaker 3: that's going on, whereas a robbin hood but you got
- 16:45Speaker 3: to email somebody. And that's kind of not my strong point.
- 16:49Speaker 3: So that's understand That first second thing is but you
- 16:54Speaker 3: get paid two ways when you invest in the stocks.
- 16:57Speaker 3: The two ways you get paid is one through cold
- 17:00Speaker 3: hall cash, which is dividends. Now, every company doesn't pay
- 17:03Speaker 3: dividends out right, every company doesn't pay dividends out but
- 17:08Speaker 3: the dividend is now a portion of the profit that
- 17:11Speaker 3: a company now pays to you. Right, So let's talk
- 17:15Speaker 3: about that for a second before we even go a
- 17:17Speaker 3: little further, right, So this is how the dividends paid out.
- 17:20Speaker 3: And we'll just use e y L as a company, right,
- 17:22Speaker 3: So EYL is a public company. We're gonna speak that
- 17:25Speaker 3: into the future. I am going to be like that,
- 17:29Speaker 3: like this, he rang the bell, I need to be
- 17:33Speaker 3: here right there, right, So we got ey L as
- 17:36Speaker 3: a public traded company, right, So e y L. You know,
- 17:41Speaker 3: we understand how ey we start understanding one of the things.
- 17:43Speaker 3: We just understand how EYL makes money. Right. So once
- 17:47Speaker 3: we understand how EYL makes money, right, we want to
- 17:50Speaker 3: be a part of that. We want to see are
- 17:52Speaker 3: they profitable, are they not profitable. If they aren't profitable,
- 17:56Speaker 3: we want to see how long will they be profitable.
- 18:00Speaker 3: So that's one of the things about having was called
- 18:02Speaker 3: the earnings report or earning statement. Right. So the company
- 18:07Speaker 3: comes in and the company EYL tells us, look, y'all,
- 18:10Speaker 3: we're not profitable right now, but we will be profitable
- 18:15Speaker 3: in three to five years, we will be profitable, and uh,
- 18:20Speaker 3: we'll be profitable. And they give us a time spent
- 18:23Speaker 3: on when we're gonna be profitable, right. And so when
- 18:25Speaker 3: they do that, now we can say, okay, since you're
- 18:30Speaker 3: not profitable, what is the expectations on how you're going
- 18:34Speaker 3: to become profitable? Right? So no company can pay dividends
- 18:39Speaker 3: if they not gonna be profitable, right, So this is
- 18:42Speaker 3: what we're gonna do if EYL was profitable, and they say, okay,
- 18:48Speaker 3: we're gonna pay everybody who invested in our business these dividends.
- 18:54Speaker 4: Right.
- 18:54Speaker 3: So let's say in this quarter three months EYL says
- 18:59Speaker 3: we're going to declaratividend of fifty cent per share. Right.
- 19:05Speaker 3: So now what happens is let's say they made one
- 19:09Speaker 3: hundred thousand dollars this quarter. They take fifty thousand dollars
- 19:14Speaker 3: and say, yo, fifty thousand dollars, we're gonna pay bills with. Right,
- 19:17Speaker 3: we got fifty thousand dollars remaining, We're gonna take thirty
- 19:20Speaker 3: twenty thousand dollars and put that up to the side.
- 19:23Speaker 3: That's we're gonna use that to acquire other businesses, acquire
- 19:27Speaker 3: you know, make other investments. Right, and we're gonna take
- 19:30Speaker 3: the thirty thousand and break that down and pay that
- 19:34Speaker 3: to our investors. That makes sense to everybody. So now
- 19:38Speaker 3: what we're doing now is we're gonna take that fifty
- 19:42Speaker 3: cent and pay that to every investor, which you equals
- 19:45Speaker 3: are two dollars a year, or you hit the term
- 19:48Speaker 3: per share, or you hit the term annually. So EYL
- 19:52Speaker 3: would pay two dollars annually per share, or they will
- 19:56Speaker 3: pay fifty cent per share per quarter. If y'all feel
- 20:02Speaker 3: what I'm saying right now just so far, just say
- 20:04Speaker 3: we trapping? If that makes sense to y'allo. Did we
- 20:08Speaker 3: give them fair wanting that trapping attire was required?
- 20:10Speaker 4: Is we trapping? Trapping?
- 20:13Speaker 3: Come on, there we go. Now we're talking. Get fun tire.
- 20:20Speaker 3: You ain't tell them. I have to tell him bad.
- 20:24Speaker 3: That's my back. I thought I was with them, like
- 20:26Speaker 3: the trappers be already knowing we know, for god, I'm
- 20:30Speaker 3: with the earn and so don't they got to get
- 20:32Speaker 3: introduced to me exactly exactly.
- 20:34Speaker 8: Look and some of the tubers they're not really familiar,
- 20:37Speaker 8: so I gotta let them know. In advanced trapping, tire
- 20:39Speaker 8: is a quiet earners, y'all know how it is worse.
- 20:41Speaker 8: Don't play yourself forward yourself get ready, my bad, my bad,
- 20:47Speaker 8: I'll be I ain't.
- 20:48Speaker 3: I gotta start coming back because it's been a while since.
- 20:51Speaker 4: I bet that's what it is. That's what.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Wow. Like I've been lett my bros like go crazy.
- 20:58Speaker 3: They ain't gone crazy. So I've just been like like, okay,
- 21:00Speaker 3: like so listen, let me say this before we're going further.
- 21:03Speaker 3: You're like, so let me say this. This is this
- 21:05Speaker 3: is this is clutch. Right. So I'm not a financial advisor, right,
- 21:11Speaker 3: Everything that I say is for education and entertainment purposes.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Own right, know that in order to be a great investor,
- 21:18Speaker 3: you must learn how to mitigate the risks. You must
- 21:21Speaker 3: understand the pros and cons that comes with investing. Right,
- 21:26Speaker 3: I am not a financial advisor, but I know him
- 21:28Speaker 3: about the name of Rashad one part of the leisure family.
- 21:32Speaker 3: He can take to glory. I can only take you.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Now we trapping, Now we trapping. It's been a minute, right,
- 21:47Speaker 3: so uh, let's talk about that when it comes to dividends. Right,
- 21:51Speaker 3: So let's just get to that part first. Remember there's
- 21:53Speaker 3: two ways that we can get paid, right. The first
- 21:56Speaker 3: rad is through dividends. Right, so we understand the dividends
- 21:59Speaker 3: is the co hall cast that every that not every company,
- 22:02Speaker 3: but dividend paying companies paid to their investors. Right. So
- 22:05Speaker 3: here's the thing. Every company doesn't pay dividends, y'all. Every
- 22:10Speaker 3: company doesn't pay dividends. But just because the company doesn't
- 22:14Speaker 3: pay dividends doesn't mean it's not a great company. Think
- 22:17Speaker 3: about your facebooks, think about your Amazons, think about your Googles,
- 22:21Speaker 3: think about your testaments, think about your Netflix. We can
- 22:24Speaker 3: go on and so forward. What happens is when a
- 22:28Speaker 3: company doesn't pay dividends, what they'll do is instead of
- 22:33Speaker 3: paying that cold hall cash to you as an investor,
- 22:37Speaker 3: they take that money, pour it back into the business
- 22:42Speaker 3: and then you get the reward of seeing your equity
- 22:46Speaker 3: grew in the business. Right, I see a question what
- 22:50Speaker 3: makes a company decide whether or not they pay dividends?
- 22:52Speaker 3: Let me answer that question of y'all, dontlind. So what
- 22:55Speaker 3: happens is a company will gets a certain state or
- 22:57Speaker 3: a certain level where they feel like, yo, growth isn't
- 23:01Speaker 3: as much as it was early on. Right. So Amazon
- 23:06Speaker 3: has so much growth in it it probably wouldn't pay
- 23:08Speaker 3: a dividend for the next ten twenty years, right, ten
- 23:12Speaker 3: years or something like that. Right, But Apple has been
- 23:16Speaker 3: around so long they still have growth, right, and they
- 23:20Speaker 3: feel like, Yo, you know what, we want to reward
- 23:23Speaker 3: our investors for this. Now, what you'll see is two
- 23:28Speaker 3: of the things I look for just to get y'all
- 23:29Speaker 3: in this, and I won't to take y'all law. When
- 23:31Speaker 3: we look in a dividends, want to look I look
- 23:33Speaker 3: at two things. One is the pay our ratio, meaning
- 23:37Speaker 3: how much are they paying out of their profit to us? Right?
- 23:40Speaker 3: For me, I would like a company be paying me
- 23:42Speaker 3: anywhere between fifty and sixty five percent. Well, trap, why
- 23:46Speaker 3: not more than that? Because I'm not a greedy investor, right,
- 23:50Speaker 3: because if they pay me seventy five percent of their profit.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Then now they can't grow to business like I want,
- 23:57Speaker 3: and so I would rather take my money alone little
- 24:00Speaker 3: bit in a dividend for more in the growth. Because
- 24:03Speaker 3: as long as we see growth, as long as they're
- 24:05Speaker 3: adding value to the business, the share price is going
- 24:08Speaker 3: to continuously increase at a good pace. Does that make
- 24:11Speaker 3: sense to everybody?
- 24:13Speaker 4: Yep?
- 24:13Speaker 3: We trapping? All right? Cool? All right? So that's where
- 24:17Speaker 3: the decision comes in. Right, it's saying, okay, if we
- 24:21Speaker 3: were growing at fifteen twenty thirty, if we were going
- 24:24Speaker 3: at sixty percent a year and our growth rate has
- 24:27Speaker 3: scaled down to about twenty percent, Okay, let's start paying
- 24:30Speaker 3: some dividends because we want to reward people for being
- 24:32Speaker 3: with us, right, and we don't want them to feel
- 24:34Speaker 3: like they got to go somewhere else. Right, So dividends
- 24:38Speaker 3: one is a great style of investing, but it's also
- 24:41Speaker 3: a way for companies to reward you for believing in them.
- 24:47Speaker 3: So let's say we go back to Eyl. Eyl is
- 24:49Speaker 3: going to be their reference we're going to always use. Right,
- 24:51Speaker 3: So what happens is, right now, Eyyl will be what
- 24:55Speaker 3: I would call a young buck. Right, This is a
- 24:57Speaker 3: this is a while back, I broke down how I
- 25:00Speaker 3: look at companies. Right, so EYL will be a young buck.
- 25:03Speaker 3: They new to the game. They got a whole lot
- 25:04Speaker 3: of potential, yo. Right, They're gonna make some mistakes along
- 25:07Speaker 3: the way, but that's what happens in a growth process, right.
- 25:11Speaker 3: So what happens is this, though, they're not gonna pay
- 25:13Speaker 3: us no dividends right now, because they taking every dollar
- 25:17Speaker 3: that they make to reinvest into the business. And so
- 25:21Speaker 3: because they're reinvesting into the business, they can still grow
- 25:25Speaker 3: at a rapid rate. Y'all with me? So now check
- 25:30Speaker 3: this out too, though, when a company does pay dividends,
- 25:34Speaker 3: here's the pro to it. When a company does pay dividends,
- 25:39Speaker 3: what happens is anytime you see a market correction or
- 25:45Speaker 3: a stock price is falling, dividing paying companies don't fall
- 25:51Speaker 3: as much as everybody else. I like to use this analogy.
- 25:55Speaker 3: You ever got a butt whipping from your mama before?
- 25:58Speaker 3: But then you said, you know what, I'm about to
- 26:00Speaker 3: get this ads whooping, I'm gonna go put another pair
- 26:02Speaker 3: of pants on. I may never ever did that. I'm
- 26:05Speaker 3: gonna go put another pair of pants on. So you
- 26:08Speaker 3: put another pair of shorts on, you put another pair
- 26:10Speaker 3: of pants on right quick, and that kind of take
- 26:12Speaker 3: the blow away, right, so you thought until she started
- 26:16Speaker 3: hitting you on your wrists and like, damn, I ain't
- 26:20Speaker 3: had no protection for that, right, So that's what happened
- 26:24Speaker 3: with dividends. So most often what happens is when the
- 26:27Speaker 3: company pays dividends, because they're paying the dividends because they
- 26:31Speaker 3: have that cash for that, they often don't take the
- 26:34Speaker 3: same hit as it would if it wasn't paying one.
- 26:39Speaker 3: Does that make sense to everyone? Does that make sense?
- 26:41Speaker 3: That is that we we locking in right here, we traveling.
- 26:44Speaker 2: And dividends are are not guaranted like they can stop
- 26:47Speaker 2: dividends at.
- 26:50Speaker 3: So again at dividends, so we're looking at this. So
- 26:53Speaker 3: now we tap into something else while we're just talking
- 26:55Speaker 3: about dividends. Right, One of the things we want to
- 26:59Speaker 3: look at is a track record. And this is why
- 27:01Speaker 3: we don't want you. This is why that other one
- 27:03Speaker 3: made sense about the payout ratio, right, So what happens
- 27:07Speaker 3: is this a company that has and this will get
- 27:11Speaker 3: a little bit into like financing what I get into
- 27:13Speaker 3: with it. But we want to be invested in businesses
- 27:16Speaker 3: with great financials. With businesses with a lot with cash
- 27:20Speaker 3: on deck, positive cash flow, positive cash on deck, and
- 27:24Speaker 3: I don't want to go tool with people here because
- 27:25Speaker 3: we won't keep it in that one on one second.
- 27:28Speaker 3: But the reason why we want that is because in
- 27:30Speaker 3: hard times, what we don't want them to do is
- 27:35Speaker 3: cut it. See during the pandemic, a lot of companies
- 27:42Speaker 3: did two things. They cut the dividend or they suspended
- 27:48Speaker 3: the dividend. The reason being was because they didn't have
- 27:53Speaker 3: enough cash to withstand one day. Didn't know how long
- 27:58Speaker 3: the pandemic was going to happen, so they didn't They
- 28:00Speaker 3: didn't have enough cash reserve to say, Okay, I can
- 28:04Speaker 3: still pay my dividends and take care of my business financially.
- 28:10Speaker 3: One of the two things got to happen. I gotta
- 28:12Speaker 3: cut this dividend so I can make sure the companies
- 28:15Speaker 3: stay afloat all gonna take on more debt to stay afloat.
- 28:20Speaker 3: You never want those two things to happen. So you
- 28:22Speaker 3: saw companies like Exxon. You saw companies you know, cutting
- 28:26Speaker 3: their dividends, pausing they dividend, airline businesses, cruise ship businesses,
- 28:31Speaker 3: cutting they dividend, freezing them because they couldn't do it.
- 28:34Speaker 3: They couldn't burn sixty million dollars a day because nobody
- 28:39Speaker 3: was flying and still pay you a dividend, not knowing
- 28:43Speaker 3: this was going to take another year, year and some change. Right,
- 28:47Speaker 3: so they cut it or they freezed it or whatever.
- 28:50Speaker 3: You don't want that. You want a company that's in
- 28:52Speaker 3: a good financial state that can continuously pay you that dividend.
- 28:56Speaker 3: And so some of the companies you'll look at was
- 28:58Speaker 3: called like dividing aristocrat, dividend kings, dividend challenges. Right, these
- 29:04Speaker 3: are companies that paid dividends for ten years, twenty five years,
- 29:08Speaker 3: and thirty years plus. But we don't want I don't
- 29:11Speaker 3: want to go too far down the line with that, right,
- 29:14Speaker 3: But that's yep, real quick. When a company suspendses dividend,
- 29:19Speaker 3: is there usually a timeframe when they can pick it
- 29:21Speaker 3: back up? They can't, So it's now it's up to them,
- 29:24Speaker 3: Like when do we get our finances back on track?
- 29:28Speaker 3: What does the future look like? Is the industry picking
- 29:31Speaker 3: back up? Right? You start seeing things like that. So
- 29:34Speaker 3: now they got to make a whole decision. They got
- 29:36Speaker 3: to make that financial decision, and that's not a decision
- 29:39Speaker 3: you want to have to worry about. Right, So if
- 29:41Speaker 3: you're going to pick a company, so let's even say this, right,
- 29:44Speaker 3: I want you to know this before I get into
- 29:45Speaker 3: the other way. When you looking at dividing playing companies,
- 29:49Speaker 3: you want to look at what's called that dividend yield. Right,
- 29:52Speaker 3: So let me tell you what the yield is. The
- 29:54Speaker 3: yield is simply the portion of the stock price that's
- 30:00Speaker 3: being paid out to you in cash. So if the
- 30:02Speaker 3: company's dividing yield is seven percent, you take seven percent
- 30:05Speaker 3: of that stock price and you'll know exactly what you're
- 30:07Speaker 3: getting as a dividend.
- 30:10Speaker 4: Right.
- 30:10Speaker 3: So if Apple has two hundred and some dollars and
- 30:13Speaker 3: they're dividing is one point nine percent, then you take
- 30:15Speaker 3: that one point nine percent and that'll give you what
- 30:18Speaker 3: they're paying you as a dividend. Makes sense ever about it?
- 30:22Speaker 4: That's a fact.
- 30:23Speaker 2: And let me just reset the room real quick for
- 30:25Speaker 2: anybody that has just joined. We're talking about stocks, how
- 30:30Speaker 2: to get involved in stocks, how to start investing in
- 30:32Speaker 2: stocks at the ground level.
- 30:34Speaker 4: And you know, it was crazy.
- 30:36Speaker 2: I don't know if you saw Market Mondays on Monday
- 30:38Speaker 2: when Mike Novogratz when he was on and you know,
- 30:42Speaker 2: he's a big cooin.
- 30:42Speaker 4: Billionaire and big coin bonaire. That's a fact.
- 30:45Speaker 2: He's a whale and there's only like three whales in America,
- 30:48Speaker 2: him and the Winklevans twins. So it's like he's, you know,
- 30:52Speaker 2: he's kind of an elite guy. And he was watching
- 30:55Speaker 2: what we were saying with Ian was talking about and
- 30:57Speaker 2: he was like, I was shoted. He's like, I'm prize
- 31:00Speaker 2: that you guys are given this much informational information away
- 31:03Speaker 2: for free. This is a guy that ran a hedge fund,
- 31:05Speaker 2: that runs an investment firm now that is worth six
- 31:09Speaker 2: billion dollars and me as a financial advisor, like I
- 31:12Speaker 2: tell people this all the time, like trap, you know,
- 31:14Speaker 2: he always he always says that I appreciate that as
- 31:17Speaker 2: far as like I'm a financial advisor and he's not.
- 31:19Speaker 2: But I can personally tell you that I've been a
- 31:22Speaker 2: financial advisor for twelve years and he knows probably more
- 31:26Speaker 2: than ninety five percent of my colleagues about stocks. So
- 31:31Speaker 2: I say that to say, you know, sometimes we take
- 31:34Speaker 2: things for granted, but this is you know, I went
- 31:37Speaker 2: to college, I have a college degree, I'm a financial advisor,
- 31:40Speaker 2: and a lot of this stuff he teaches me a lot,
- 31:44Speaker 2: Like you know, so this level of education, even though
- 31:49Speaker 2: it's basic for today, as far as the conversation is
- 31:51Speaker 2: not basic. So just just you know, just keep that
- 31:55Speaker 2: in mind. So if you can like the video on YouTube,
- 32:00Speaker 2: that would greatly be appreciative. Appreciate it because that does
- 32:04Speaker 2: help with the algorithm. So if you could just take
- 32:06Speaker 2: a moment to like the video, and hopefully you guys
- 32:09Speaker 2: have your note pads out and you're taking some notes.
- 32:13Speaker 4: So yeah, sorry about that, trap, But.
- 32:15Speaker 3: Oh man, that's you know, I always I always when
- 32:18Speaker 3: you say that, I'll always be like, damn, you know
- 32:21Speaker 3: what I'm saying, because it's what we do, you know,
- 32:23Speaker 3: like we live it. We we we kind of take
- 32:26Speaker 3: it for granted, like when you hit me like trap,
- 32:29Speaker 3: we got to go back to the basics, like we
- 32:31Speaker 3: always have that conversation, like bro, we got to go
- 32:33Speaker 3: back to the basics because what we feel to realize
- 32:35Speaker 3: that we're getting new people in every day all day.
- 32:38Speaker 3: And I'm gonna just be real. I was talking to
- 32:39Speaker 3: the guy today I'm not gonna say the name on
- 32:41Speaker 3: Wall Street who I called y'all with, and he said
- 32:44Speaker 3: something to me, Man, he said, we are now in
- 32:49Speaker 3: a time, and first he was like he told me
- 32:53Speaker 3: the same thing. He was like, I've been following you
- 32:54Speaker 3: for a while and I'm impressed at how much information
- 32:59Speaker 3: you giveaway. He was like, I'm impressed. He was like,
- 33:03Speaker 3: I know people on Wall Street don't want you to
- 33:06Speaker 3: be saying that, like real talk maybe on Wall Street
- 33:10Speaker 3: four years. He's like, I know people on Wall Street
- 33:14Speaker 3: don't want that to be said because what happens is
- 33:19Speaker 3: that puts certain people out of jobs. You know what
- 33:23Speaker 3: I'm saying. So when I hear a shot, I say
- 33:26Speaker 3: that all not just be like damn because so many
- 33:29Speaker 3: people coming in and I still learn. I still learn
- 33:32Speaker 3: every day. I'm learning more, I'm learning from different people,
- 33:34Speaker 3: I'm learning from different books. I'm just in my brain
- 33:39Speaker 3: and so this comes out efinitly. This is our everyday conversation.
- 33:42Speaker 3: So for people to get this, man, I truly want
- 33:45Speaker 3: That's what trap or tire required really means. It means
- 33:48Speaker 3: when you're pinning your path yor like, bring that and
- 33:52Speaker 3: if you're above this level, that's cool. This is a
- 33:55Speaker 3: refresher for you. You know what I'm saying. That's I
- 33:58Speaker 3: always feel like if you as this, this the refresher,
- 34:01Speaker 3: because once you gain so much now sometimes you forget
- 34:03Speaker 3: the basics. You know, we call that a review.
- 34:07Speaker 8: In the education field, Hey, somebody's somebody's asking what the
- 34:11Speaker 8: share is and so really quickly, and this is something
- 34:14Speaker 8: that we deal with with our students. A share is
- 34:16Speaker 8: a piece of ownership in the company. And so the
- 34:18Speaker 8: best way we'd like to explain it this thing of
- 34:19Speaker 8: a pie of pizza, that that pie gets cut into
- 34:23Speaker 8: eight slices, ten slices, a million slices.
- 34:26Speaker 4: Each piece is a part of ownership.
- 34:28Speaker 8: And so the more slices you buy, the more ownership
- 34:32Speaker 8: you have in that pie. And so that that's what
- 34:34Speaker 8: it shares. I see some people in the in the
- 34:36Speaker 8: zoom the earners are asking what to share is? That's
- 34:38Speaker 8: what I want to say, share. I want to ask
- 34:40Speaker 8: you a question. We talk about ETFs a lot on
- 34:42Speaker 8: market money. They talk about ETFs a lot, but people
- 34:46Speaker 8: might they still might not fully understand what the ETF is.
- 34:49Speaker 8: So can you talk about what the what the e
- 34:53Speaker 8: t F is?
- 34:54Speaker 3: All right? Cool? Let me say this first shot before
- 34:57Speaker 3: we do that. And the second where you get paid
- 34:59Speaker 3: with stock is through equity. The first way is vivid
- 35:02Speaker 3: in the second way is The second is equity. So
- 35:05Speaker 3: equity is if you're invested in a business that probably
- 35:08Speaker 3: doesn't pay dividends. But that's simply saying is if you
- 35:11Speaker 3: put ten dollars in and the stock goes up to fifteen,
- 35:13Speaker 3: you now have five dollars in equity in it. Right,
- 35:16Speaker 3: if it goes up to one hundred, now you have
- 35:18Speaker 3: ninety dollars in equity in it. But here's the thing.
- 35:20Speaker 3: The only way you can get that money is by
- 35:22Speaker 3: selling it. The only way you get that money is
- 35:26Speaker 3: by selling it. I want you all to think long
- 35:29Speaker 3: term when we talk about you got to ask yourself.
- 35:33Speaker 3: Am I a trader or am I an investor? Somebody say,
- 35:37Speaker 3: don't forget to talk about all the types of stop losses.
- 35:40Speaker 3: That's cool, but as an investor, I want you to
- 35:44Speaker 3: think long term, and sometimes those things are null and void.
- 35:49Speaker 3: Right when you think an investor, were not wearying about
- 35:52Speaker 3: like stop losses as an investor, as a trader, were
- 35:56Speaker 3: talking different. We talking investing here. So were talking by
- 35:59Speaker 3: our company. Hold it. As the company grows, we grow,
- 36:03Speaker 3: at some point, we sell, take profits and then reinvest.
- 36:08Speaker 3: That's what we're talking right, So that is that doesn't
- 36:11Speaker 3: make sense. Family of limit, all this market, all the
- 36:14Speaker 3: stop laws. But right now we're just talking buy and
- 36:17Speaker 3: whole long term mid term investing. We don't even do
- 36:22Speaker 3: that at that right, not right now, not right now,
- 36:24Speaker 3: great point building. So I want you all to know
- 36:27Speaker 3: that when it comes to stocks, you get paid two ways.
- 36:29Speaker 3: One is through dividends. The next way is through equity.
- 36:32Speaker 3: The dual part about dividends is you get paid two times.
- 36:35Speaker 3: You get paid through dividends and you get paid through equity.
- 36:39Speaker 3: So and before I move to the etf ever shot
- 36:42Speaker 3: asks me, some people ask when are dividends normally paid?
- 36:46Speaker 3: So they're paid depending on the company, they can normally
- 36:49Speaker 3: it's every three months, which is every quarter, right, so
- 36:52Speaker 3: you'll you'll pay quarterly. Some companies pay once a year.
- 36:57Speaker 3: Some people like Disney pay every six months semi an.
- 37:02Speaker 3: So you would have to figure out and it's easy.
- 37:04Speaker 3: You go to the company and they'll tell you how
- 37:06Speaker 3: they're paying their dividends out and then and then some
- 37:09Speaker 3: companies actually can pay a special dividend, but that's a
- 37:13Speaker 3: whole other thing. So just to let y'all know that
- 37:16Speaker 3: right quick, So asked me talk about et s and
- 37:19Speaker 3: so for me, I personally feel that as a beginner investor,
- 37:28Speaker 3: e t s are a great way to start. I
- 37:32Speaker 3: personally own to ETS now, and so it's not just
- 37:36Speaker 3: limited to beginner investors. Right, So what happens is, let's
- 37:41Speaker 3: let's think about it like this. Let's see and this
- 37:44Speaker 3: is the best way that I always learned how to
- 37:46Speaker 3: talk about it. So let's say you walked into the
- 37:50Speaker 3: grocery store and you wanted to buy a bag of chips, right,
- 37:56Speaker 3: but you didn't know exactly what bag of chips you
- 37:59Speaker 3: wanted to buy. But we also know that in a
- 38:02Speaker 3: bag of chip all there's pretzels, popcorn, crackers, uh, just wafers,
- 38:10Speaker 3: cookie all that is in the bag of chip op. Right,
- 38:14Speaker 3: So let's thing about this. Each bag of chips are
- 38:16Speaker 3: each pretzel, each cookie represented a company. Right, So each cookie,
- 38:22Speaker 3: each each cookie brand, each pretzel brand, each popcorn brand,
- 38:26Speaker 3: each bag of chip brand, they all represented a different company,
- 38:31Speaker 3: but they all are on the bag of chip op. Right.
- 38:37Speaker 3: Then ETF is saying I don't know which cookie, cracker,
- 38:42Speaker 3: pop competato chip I want, but I know I want
- 38:45Speaker 3: one of them, so I'm gonna just buy the whole
- 38:48Speaker 3: our that's the ETF. That's the ETL. An ETF is
- 38:55Speaker 3: simply saying I want to buy in a certain sector
- 38:59Speaker 3: of a market, but I don't know which company I want,
- 39:03Speaker 3: so I get this sector. Now, different et s can
- 39:07Speaker 3: be for the same sector but have different companies inside
- 39:10Speaker 3: of it. Right, So you can buy marijuana ETF MJ.
- 39:14Speaker 3: But it may have con chronos, it may have canopy growth,
- 39:19Speaker 3: it may have YEAH them, but then you may get YO.
- 39:24Speaker 3: It may have it may not have canopy growth. It
- 39:29Speaker 3: may have GW, it may have I I, p R,
- 39:36Speaker 3: you know, it may have different ones, but it's still
- 39:38Speaker 3: different marijuana et s. Right, so that everybody understands, that's
- 39:43Speaker 3: exactly what the ETF is. It gives you the option
- 39:46Speaker 3: to be inside of a sector that you like. And
- 39:50Speaker 3: if you don't know exactly which company you have a
- 39:52Speaker 3: which company like you want to go with, you still
- 39:55Speaker 3: want to research it, you can go there. One of
- 39:57Speaker 3: the ets I personally got in was one p R
- 40:00Speaker 3: n T. I told Troy about it a while back. Right,
- 40:04Speaker 3: it's a three D print ETF. I was still learning
- 40:07Speaker 3: the companies in there. I was still doing research on
- 40:09Speaker 3: the companies in there. But I bought the ETFs. I
- 40:12Speaker 3: was like, Yo, this is a hot industry that's going
- 40:15Speaker 3: to be around for a launch. This is the this
- 40:17Speaker 3: is where we're headed at. So I bought the ETF
- 40:20Speaker 3: until I'm able to break down and understand all of
- 40:23Speaker 3: those companies. The dope part about it et U is this,
- 40:28Speaker 3: they almost automatically do all the research for you. So
- 40:33Speaker 3: they've already put the best companies in there, the best
- 40:36Speaker 3: performing companies. They've already done it. Now. The dope part
- 40:40Speaker 3: about it et UP is also this, they will change
- 40:44Speaker 3: those companies out once a year dependent on the performance.
- 40:49Speaker 3: All what they'll do is they'll say this company is
- 40:52Speaker 3: performing well, this company is performing bad, but this company
- 40:57Speaker 3: is slowing down, all right, juice. Example, Alesia has the ETF.
- 41:03Speaker 3: Inside of the ETF, they got Wall Street trapper, they
- 41:06Speaker 3: got Mad the mortgage guy, they got David Shan's, they
- 41:09Speaker 3: got every you know, ash cash, the new people. Everybody
- 41:14Speaker 3: is in there. Now here's the thing. Everybody will have
- 41:17Speaker 3: a different percentage, right, so they may have I'm gonna
- 41:22Speaker 3: be buying myself. They got forty percent of the ETF
- 41:25Speaker 3: and Wall Street trapped.
- 41:29Speaker 8: That sounds about right, sounds about right, Going stock going
- 41:35Speaker 8: a way up.
- 41:38Speaker 3: Forty percent of the EATF is in Wall Street Trapper,
- 41:41Speaker 3: ten percent of the fifteen percent of the ETF me
- 41:44Speaker 3: being mad the mortgage guy. So on before until we
- 41:47Speaker 3: get to a one hundred percent. Here's the thing. They
- 41:52Speaker 3: may say, Matt gonna kill me for this. So let's
- 41:58Speaker 3: say that the markets god slowed up a little bit,
- 42:03Speaker 3: he didn't perform as well this year. But let's say
- 42:08Speaker 3: David Shans like was increased, like his wave was growing.
- 42:15Speaker 3: So what EYL would do is say, yo, we'll take
- 42:19Speaker 3: and stearated Matt having twenty percent, will take five percent
- 42:23Speaker 3: of our position from Matt and added to David Shans
- 42:28Speaker 3: And so now David Shan's will go from maybe ten
- 42:31Speaker 3: percent to fifteen percent, and Matt will go from twenty
- 42:34Speaker 3: percent to fifteen percent. And so that's what they're do
- 42:37Speaker 3: in ETF. They if one company isn't performing as they expected,
- 42:43Speaker 3: they'll take position from that company and add it into
- 42:46Speaker 3: another company inside of the ETF so the ETF can
- 42:50Speaker 3: keep performing well. If one per company is just not
- 42:53Speaker 3: performing at all, then that fund manager will take that
- 42:57Speaker 3: company out and replace it with someone one else. That
- 43:01Speaker 3: makes sense to everybody, absolutely and real quick.
- 43:03Speaker 8: So some people are asking where they could find ETFs
- 43:06Speaker 8: and so etfdb dot com is a great it'll show
- 43:10Speaker 8: you exactly what trap is talking about inside of the
- 43:13Speaker 8: ETF And another thing that people don't realize is the
- 43:15Speaker 8: number of sectors. So there's eleven sectors on the market,
- 43:18Speaker 8: and so I'm going to run through them because people
- 43:20Speaker 8: always like we talk about technology a lot, because yeah,
- 43:23Speaker 8: we invest in technology companies.
- 43:24Speaker 3: So energy is.
- 43:25Speaker 8: A sector, Materials is a sector, Industrials, consumer discretionary, consumer staples, healthcare, financials,
- 43:32Speaker 8: information technology, telecommunication services, utilities, and real estate. Those are
- 43:37Speaker 8: the eleven sectors of the market. And so if you're
- 43:40Speaker 8: familiar with the things you're investing in now, or if
- 43:43Speaker 8: you're trying to get invested in again, we always say,
- 43:45Speaker 8: we'll start looking around you where your money going.
- 43:47Speaker 4: Now.
- 43:48Speaker 8: Your money might be going to one of those eleven
- 43:50Speaker 8: It definitely is going to one of those elevens. So
- 43:53Speaker 8: get familiar with them, and etfdb is a great resource
- 43:57Speaker 8: to find exactly what they're holding in the allocation percentages
- 44:00Speaker 8: and how they perform.
- 44:01Speaker 4: Yeah, shout out, shout out to.
- 44:02Speaker 3: That, shout out to that.
- 44:03Speaker 8: You know, we love that right now, they said, they
- 44:11Speaker 8: can feel an mg ran coming.
- 44:12Speaker 3: No, no, this that's our brother, man, that's our brother.
- 44:16Speaker 3: While y'all talking, I'm like that, I meant no harm
- 44:20Speaker 3: I love I love you. I love you man.
- 44:25Speaker 4: That's to go.
- 44:27Speaker 2: That's and you know another way, honestly, just like to
- 44:29Speaker 2: be completely honest about it, if you really want to
- 44:32Speaker 2: just be really lazy about it, you can google top
- 44:34Speaker 2: performing ETFs in the space. So like, even if he
- 44:36Speaker 2: was looking like biotech, like you know iv B, Like
- 44:39Speaker 2: you know, I'm invested in ib B, and I heard
- 44:44Speaker 2: about ib B before. But let's say I didn't know
- 44:46Speaker 2: about ib B. I know that you know the coronavirus.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Bio Biotech is a big thing. We talked about it
- 44:52Speaker 2: on Market Mondays before. No matter how you feel about
- 44:54Speaker 2: the vaccine or whatever, it's an industry and biotech is
- 44:58Speaker 2: here to stay, and it's only you know, go and
- 44:59Speaker 2: get bigger and bigger. It looks like, so you might
- 45:02Speaker 2: be invested in investing in a biotech stock, but it
- 45:05Speaker 2: might be risky to invest in just one biotech company
- 45:08Speaker 2: that you might not know too much about. So now
- 45:11Speaker 2: the ETF is kind of like, you know, a way
- 45:13Speaker 2: to mitigate that risk. Because you're not investing in one company,
- 45:17Speaker 2: investing in twenty companies or twenty five companies. Have a
- 45:20Speaker 2: many companies is actually in the ETF. So I always
- 45:23Speaker 2: tell people that that and index funds, we can talk
- 45:26Speaker 2: about index funds as well. Is the easiest route because
- 45:29Speaker 2: that's the hurdle that people have when they get it's
- 45:33Speaker 2: like which stock to buy and when to buy it,
- 45:35Speaker 2: and then it kind of becomes like, you know, double dutch,
- 45:39Speaker 2: like you don't know when to get in when to
- 45:40Speaker 2: get out.
- 45:41Speaker 4: I'm just randomly just gonna buy.
- 45:42Speaker 2: Tesla because Elon Musk just tweets about doge coin something
- 45:47Speaker 2: like that, Like you know what I'm saying. So ETF
- 45:50Speaker 2: is a good way to ease your way into the
- 45:53Speaker 2: stock market. And then another strategy that we use with
- 45:56Speaker 2: ets is to cherry pick like the top of foring.
- 46:00Speaker 2: So like the XLK, you want to talk about that
- 46:04Speaker 2: strategy a little bit trap?
- 46:07Speaker 3: Are we talking about just picking companies from well.
- 46:10Speaker 2: Like so what we do sometime with the xl so
- 46:12Speaker 2: like XLK when they have like twenty different stocks inside
- 46:15Speaker 2: of it, but their top two holdings, Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 46:18Speaker 2: Apple and Microsoft, Right, so you know, like me personally.
- 46:21Speaker 2: Me personally, I'm invested in XLK and I'm invested in.
- 46:24Speaker 4: Apple, So my Apple.
- 46:27Speaker 2: If Apple does one hundred percent, XLK might do twenty percent,
- 46:31Speaker 2: right because Apple only makes up like ten percent of
- 46:34Speaker 2: the portfolio. But if Apple's underperforming, XLK could potentially do
- 46:39Speaker 2: better than Apple.
- 46:40Speaker 4: So it's a hedge.
- 46:41Speaker 2: So now instead of putting all my eggs in one basket,
- 46:44Speaker 2: like all my eggs with just Apple, I have Apple
- 46:47Speaker 2: and I have XLK, so I'm hedged. So if Apple,
- 46:51Speaker 2: if Apple underperforms, I got the all star team, which
- 46:54Speaker 2: is the ETF. But if Apple goes crazy, then it's
- 46:58Speaker 2: gonna go Yeah exactly.
- 47:00Speaker 8: And that you know, you know what you can do,
- 47:02Speaker 8: And I'm glad you said that. It was like before
- 47:04Speaker 8: I knew of et F d B. That's the first
- 47:07Speaker 8: thing I did. I looked at the companies that I
- 47:09Speaker 8: was spending money with and I typed in ETF, so
- 47:11Speaker 8: I literally put Amazon ETF and I saw which ones
- 47:14Speaker 8: were performing best, and I said, oh, wait, this spider
- 47:17Speaker 8: one is performing Okay, let's move that route. And so
- 47:19Speaker 8: when you see again he's invested in Apple. We both
- 47:22Speaker 8: invested in Apple and x okay, but another one, right XL.
- 47:26Speaker 8: Why I had twenty three percent Amazon allocation? I think
- 47:30Speaker 8: Amazon's not going anywhere, right, there's a reason why we're
- 47:34Speaker 8: using it. There's a reason why they're the number two
- 47:35Speaker 8: e commerce business in the world. We believed in it,
- 47:38Speaker 8: all right, Well we're gonna play the singular position and
- 47:41Speaker 8: we're gonna have the ETF just for the balance.
- 47:43Speaker 3: Yeah, that's and that's always great. And I think Rasha
- 47:47Speaker 3: talked about it too, like knowing when to get in
- 47:50Speaker 3: and when to get out. So for me, when I'm
- 47:52Speaker 3: thinking ETFs, when I buy ets and I the class
- 47:56Speaker 3: on it in my group. Uh so for me, what
- 47:59Speaker 3: I like to do with you're gonna buy ETFs. So
- 48:02Speaker 3: I personally am not a fan of dollar cost averaging,
- 48:06Speaker 3: That's just me. But when it comes to ETFs, I
- 48:09Speaker 3: think that is a great way to That is one
- 48:13Speaker 3: of the ways I do agree with you dollar cost
- 48:17Speaker 3: averaging and with dollar cost averaging is simply saying that
- 48:19Speaker 3: yours taking every month at you're buying a certain amount
- 48:23Speaker 3: of shares in the business no matter what. And so
- 48:27Speaker 3: what I like about that. The only thing I will
- 48:29Speaker 3: say is you never want to buy ETF at the
- 48:31Speaker 3: fifty two week hide. Right, you never want to buy
- 48:33Speaker 3: anything at a fifty two week high, and a fifty
- 48:36Speaker 3: two week high is saying this is the highest this
- 48:38Speaker 3: stock has been over the last fifty two weeks. Right,
- 48:41Speaker 3: So fifty two high. Any time you hear that this
- 48:43Speaker 3: company just hit a fifty two week high, all time high. Right,
- 48:47Speaker 3: you never want to buy a company at its fifty
- 48:50Speaker 3: two week high. Always let it come back down a
- 48:54Speaker 3: little bit, Let it get a little pressure off of it.
- 48:57Speaker 3: Let some people sell a little bit, and then we
- 49:00Speaker 3: buy a little move. Let me say this, And this
- 49:04Speaker 3: is something even we got into this, we didn't talk
- 49:06Speaker 3: about this, how stock prices actually moves. I think that's
- 49:13Speaker 3: something before we get into, before we get in, I mean,
- 49:16Speaker 3: we got into it already, but let's talk about how
- 49:19Speaker 3: stock prices actually moves. Right, So what happens is this?
- 49:25Speaker 3: I want you all to know this, We personally do
- 49:30Speaker 3: not move stock prices. We won't have enough money yet. Right.
- 49:37Speaker 3: It takes millions and billions of dollars to move a
- 49:41Speaker 3: stock price fifty cents, Right, So what happens is this?
- 49:47Speaker 3: These huge investors. So that's one of the things I
- 49:49Speaker 3: study a lot. I study. They call them whales, they
- 49:52Speaker 3: call them, you know, elephants, and it's just saying, these
- 49:56Speaker 3: are people who buy five hundred thousand or more shares
- 49:59Speaker 3: at a time. This is how we this is how
- 50:02Speaker 3: stock prices moved.
- 50:04Speaker 4: Right.
- 50:04Speaker 3: I don't care if everybody on Instagram retail investors started
- 50:07Speaker 3: buying one stock, that's not gonna move it. But if
- 50:11Speaker 3: a bunch of hedge funds get redded, did not do it,
- 50:14Speaker 3: and let's clear that up. They did not do it,
- 50:16Speaker 3: and it came out showing that they didn't do it.
- 50:19Speaker 3: There was a lot of money behind that, So I
- 50:20Speaker 3: don't want you to think that they did that. Actually
- 50:23Speaker 3: came out on c CNBC and found out that there
- 50:25Speaker 3: was a lot of hedge funds behind that. So what
- 50:29Speaker 3: happens is this. It takes a lot of big institutions.
- 50:35Speaker 3: So when we talk about institutions, we talking insurance companies,
- 50:39Speaker 3: were talking banks, we're talking hedge funds, we're talking pension funds.
- 50:46Speaker 3: All of these people are the wheals. These are people
- 50:50Speaker 3: buying a whole bunch of shares at one time, moving
- 50:54Speaker 3: stock price. So we'll go back again. So let's say
- 50:58Speaker 3: this now we're not going to talk earn your leisure.
- 51:01Speaker 3: We're gonna talk Rashaw, Rasha, Troy, myself, Matt and every
- 51:06Speaker 3: Let's say our circle we all billionaires, right, and so
- 51:13Speaker 3: Troy says, man, I'm about to buy this EYL stock
- 51:18Speaker 3: because even because he owned the company, he can still
- 51:21Speaker 3: buy shares of it. Right. So Troy says, man, I'm
- 51:25Speaker 3: about to go buy five million dollars at EYL stock.
- 51:28Speaker 3: Rasha goes by five million dollars at e raj A
- 51:31Speaker 3: L stock. I go buy five million dollars at EYL stock.
- 51:35Speaker 3: Matt go buys five million dollars at EYL stock. What
- 51:38Speaker 3: do you think is going to happen to EYL stock
- 51:41Speaker 3: going up?
- 51:42Speaker 4: Way up, going up?
- 51:44Speaker 3: So now what happens is as it goes up, now
- 51:48Speaker 3: the retail investors start saying, yo, that's going up. I'm
- 51:52Speaker 3: about to buy some too. So now the retail investors
- 51:55Speaker 3: buy it. They getting in. But you're not moving the
- 51:58Speaker 3: star price up like you think. Now Mad has bought
- 52:01Speaker 3: five million shells, David Shan's bought five mill Everybody in
- 52:05Speaker 3: our circle now bought five to ten million shares. The
- 52:07Speaker 3: stock price goes up. Once the stock price goes up
- 52:11Speaker 3: for a certain amount of time. Troy says, you know
- 52:13Speaker 3: what I'm about to sell. I'm about to sell my
- 52:17Speaker 3: five million shells because now his five million shares has
- 52:20Speaker 3: turned to fifteen million dollars. It's time for him to
- 52:24Speaker 3: now take this profit and go about his day until
- 52:26Speaker 3: he finds something else to do. So Troy takes his
- 52:28Speaker 3: five million. So when Troy takes his five million, Rashad said,
- 52:32Speaker 3: you know what, I'm taking my five million. Two everybody
- 52:35Speaker 3: takes their five million out. Now what happens to the stock?
- 52:40Speaker 3: Stock price comes down. What happens now is the retail investor,
- 52:46Speaker 3: if you bought in at the fifty two week high,
- 52:50Speaker 3: you're now stuck holding that bag because you now need
- 52:53Speaker 3: reshored Rashad Troy Matt trap, you need us to get
- 52:58Speaker 3: back in it for that stock to go back up
- 53:01Speaker 3: like that. Right, So this is one of the ways
- 53:03Speaker 3: I'm saying, like, we're not buying that fifty two week
- 53:05Speaker 3: highs and we're not following trends. We're buying great businesses
- 53:11Speaker 3: at good prices. And if you aren't able to do
- 53:13Speaker 3: that yet, then ETFs are a great way for you
- 53:17Speaker 3: to get in that ETFs are index fund Does that
- 53:21Speaker 3: makes sense? To everybody, we were trapping right now, let
- 53:24Speaker 3: me know we trapping.
- 53:24Speaker 4: Y'all were trapping or were trapping the piracs.
- 53:29Speaker 2: I want to go to question but before before we
- 53:31Speaker 2: go to questions, can you just talk about index funds?
- 53:38Speaker 3: A yeah, we can definitely talk about that.
- 53:40Speaker 2: So and just saw some people say where can I
- 53:43Speaker 2: get et Everything that we mentioned here today is when
- 53:46Speaker 2: when the first thing that that traps spoke about was
- 53:48Speaker 2: the brokerage account. So when you set up your brokerage account,
- 53:52Speaker 2: whether it's with TD or whether it's with Fidelity or Robinhood,
- 53:56Speaker 2: wherever you touch your brokerage account up, all of these
- 53:58Speaker 2: places are you can You can buy etf you can
- 54:02Speaker 2: buy stock, you can buy a lot of mutual funds,
- 54:08Speaker 2: and you can buy index funds as well. So you
- 54:10Speaker 2: can do it all for most reputable brokerage accounts. You
- 54:15Speaker 2: can do all at the same same place for sure.
- 54:19Speaker 3: So, uh, index funds. So let's talk about that, right.
- 54:24Speaker 3: So index funds come in a lot of ways, so
- 54:27Speaker 3: but most notably thank you beautiful, I love you so much.
- 54:33Speaker 3: It's my daughter, y'all. So, uh, index funds. So you
- 54:37Speaker 3: think about the S and P five hundred, that's an index.
- 54:41Speaker 3: Think about the Russell two thousand. That's an index. Think
- 54:45Speaker 3: about the QQQ, the NASTAC, that's an index. You think
- 54:49Speaker 3: about the Dow Jones. These are indexes, right, So an
- 54:54Speaker 3: index fund typically performs the same way as the index does.
- 55:01Speaker 3: It mocks that. So if the SMP is up five percent,
- 55:05Speaker 3: then the SPY or the VO which are two, they're
- 55:09Speaker 3: up five percent. If the nashtag is up five percent,
- 55:14Speaker 3: then that index fund will be up five percent. But
- 55:17Speaker 3: here's a dupe point. Index funds can also get into
- 55:21Speaker 3: like you can get large cap indexes, small cap indexes,
- 55:26Speaker 3: medium cap indexes. So what that is is so now
- 55:29Speaker 3: what happens is you have mega caps, which is anything
- 55:35Speaker 3: that is two hundred billion are better, well more than
- 55:39Speaker 3: one hundred billion are better. So any stocks that are
- 55:42Speaker 3: worth one hundred billion or more, You're Johnson and Johnson's
- 55:45Speaker 3: your Apple, these are mega cap stocks. And then you
- 55:51Speaker 3: have your large caps, so these are stocks that are
- 55:53Speaker 3: up to one hundred billion, right, so these are large caps.
- 55:59Speaker 3: So what happens is you can get an index fund
- 56:01Speaker 3: with large cap stocks in it, so it would just
- 56:04Speaker 3: be all stocks worth one hundred billion or more. You
- 56:09Speaker 3: can get a megacap index fund. It'll be just stocks
- 56:12Speaker 3: worth one hundred billion in that one hundred billion or more.
- 56:17Speaker 3: And the reason why those are index funds as well
- 56:20Speaker 3: is because it is just these stocks in this and
- 56:24Speaker 3: they're only going to attract how these index is doing,
- 56:27Speaker 3: how these one hundred companies, how these hundred billion dollar
- 56:30Speaker 3: companies are doing, How these two hundred billion dollar companies
- 56:33Speaker 3: are doing so index funds. Now, the thing about the
- 56:36Speaker 3: index compared to the ETF is this, in the index,
- 56:41Speaker 3: you can have companies from every sector in l That's
- 56:45Speaker 3: the difference an index fund I can have. It'll have
- 56:50Speaker 3: tech stocks, it'll have a consul, it'll have somebody from
- 56:54Speaker 3: all eleven sectors inside of that index. Right right. So
- 57:00Speaker 3: somebody say, wouldn't a large cap index be more expensive?
- 57:03Speaker 3: Not at all? How much the stock? Oh this is
- 57:06Speaker 3: a great, great, great, great great. I'm glad you said that.
- 57:11Speaker 3: The price of the stocks have nothing to do with
- 57:14Speaker 3: the price of the index of the ETF. The price
- 57:19Speaker 3: of the stock has nothing to do with the price
- 57:25Speaker 3: of the index of the ETF. Apple stock may be
- 57:29Speaker 3: that thing may have Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, Google. If we
- 57:33Speaker 3: bought them individually, that can easily be a four thousand
- 57:37Speaker 3: dollars five thousand dollars. Et up an index, that same
- 57:40Speaker 3: index or all those companies in it, can cost you
- 57:43Speaker 3: fifty dollars, ninety two dollars, one hundred dollars, one hundred
- 57:48Speaker 3: and forty dollars. So the price of the index has
- 57:50Speaker 3: nothing to do the price of the stocks inside of
- 57:52Speaker 3: the index have nothing to do with the price of
- 57:54Speaker 3: the index.
- 57:55Speaker 2: So there you have it. So what I want to
- 57:59Speaker 2: do is go to questions if we can, so, let
- 58:02Speaker 2: me just reset the room real quick, so anybody that
- 58:07Speaker 2: has joined after we originally started, so we're what we're
- 58:10Speaker 2: doing here is what's called open enrollment. Once a month,
- 58:15Speaker 2: we have an open enrollment, So EYL University, that's our
- 58:18Speaker 2: private education arm to earn your leisure. Earn your leisure
- 58:23Speaker 2: is the podcast is, our YouTube channels, our Instagram, all
- 58:27Speaker 2: of that stuff every single day for free, free information.
- 58:30Speaker 2: But some people need a little bit more guidance and
- 58:33Speaker 2: more importantly, a community. So we created eyl University, which
- 58:38Speaker 2: is quickly becoming the fastest growing online educational platform in
- 58:41Speaker 2: the world. Eight thousand members. Shout out to all the
- 58:43Speaker 2: earners out there, and when we do at EYL University.
- 58:46Speaker 2: We do weekly classes, so this is like in an
- 58:50Speaker 2: insight look into like a weekly class. We do this
- 58:53Speaker 2: every Wednesday at eight o'clock. And what makes this different?
- 58:56Speaker 2: A lot of time people say, like, what's different from
- 58:58Speaker 2: this in the YouTube? What's different from this in the podcast.
- 59:00Speaker 2: One of the main differences is that it's interactive, So
- 59:03Speaker 2: we're about to go into the zoom where you don't
- 59:05Speaker 2: you know, you might watch something on YouTube, you don't
- 59:07Speaker 2: get a chance to actually interact with the people that
- 59:09Speaker 2: are actually on the podcast. So this is part of it.
- 59:12Speaker 2: Another thing is that it's a community. So yesterday we
- 59:15Speaker 2: had an event, a private event in la only for
- 59:17Speaker 2: Eyo University members and we had my bro nineteen Keys,
- 59:21Speaker 2: was Dead, Mike Rashid, Alex, Good Energy, Him, five hundred,
- 59:25Speaker 2: Miss Business, Shiggy a Tear Blair, they were all there,
- 59:29Speaker 2: what about one hundred earners and it was a private
- 59:31Speaker 2: it was a private event.
- 59:33Speaker 4: We are going to do that.
- 59:35Speaker 9: This episode is brought to you by P and C Bank.
- 59:38Speaker 9: A lot of people think podcasts about work are boring,
- 59:41Speaker 9: and sure they definitely can be, but understanding of professionals
- 59:45Speaker 9: routine shows us how they achieve their success. Little by little,
- 59:48Speaker 9: day after day. It's like banking with P and C Bank.
- 59:52Speaker 9: It might seem boring to safe plan and make calculated
- 59:55Speaker 9: decisions with your bank, but keeping your money boring is
- 59:58Speaker 9: what helps you live on more happily fulfilled life. P
- 1:00:02Speaker 9: and C Bank Brilliantly Boring since eighteen sixty five. Brilliantly

- 1:00:19Speaker 4: What's Up?
- 1:00:19Speaker 9: You ever walk into a small business and everything just
- 1:00:22Speaker 9: works like the checkout is fast, the receipts are digital,

- 1:00:28Speaker 9: the line even builds. Odds are they're using Square. We
- 1:00:33Speaker 9: love supporting businesses that run on Square because it just

- 1:01:25Speaker 11: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 1:01:29Speaker 11: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 1:01:33Speaker 11: accused of murdering a Texas. Man of Venezuelan charged with
- 1:01:37Speaker 11: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 1:01:41Speaker 11: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 1:01:45Speaker 11: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy Nohm, the United States
- 1:01:49Speaker 11: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 1:01:54Speaker 11: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 1:01:57Speaker 11: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 1:02:00Speaker 11: were here illegally, your next you will be fine nearly
- 1:02:04Speaker 11: one thousand dollars a day. Imprisoned and deported, you will
- 1:02:08Speaker 11: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 1:02:12Speaker 11: app and leave now. You could be allowed to return legally,
- 1:02:16Speaker 11: do what's right. Leave now under President Trump America's laws,
- 1:02:21Speaker 11: border and families will.
- 1:02:23Speaker 12: Be protected sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland
- 1:02:25Speaker 12: Security in Atlanta and hopefully in New York too, as
- 1:02:30Speaker 12: long as we can get that off.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: But if not New York, then probably Jersey. But Atlanta's
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: definitely coming soon. So that's the community feel. But we
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: also have mg DE Mortgage guid does buy weekly real
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: estate calls. Once again at Zoom, I do monthly financial
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: planning calls. That's the only way I'm actually speaking about
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: my financial planning business these days. That and then we
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: also have mg DE Mortgage Guys home Buyers Blueprint included
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: inside the package, So that's over fifteen hours of home
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: buying every single thing you need to know. We have
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: a Facebook group with six thousand members in a Facebook group,
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: and to me, the best part about the whole situation
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: is that there's twenty infinity groups, so people get to
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: network with each other. So a lot of time people say, like,
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: I don't have like minded friends, I don't have friends
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: that talk about this stuff, because that's really how you
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: really grow is the circle that you're around. So there's
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: twenty infinity groups, there's a fifty and over club, there's
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: a crypto club. I think there's even an NFT club
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: at this point. There's a stock club, real estate club.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: And this is done with the community members networking and
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: building on their own It's value. You can't place a
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: value on that. And we're constantly adding. We have our
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: group chat, call me Troy, our boy Francis. We go
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: over our personal portfolios, go over stock charts once a month.
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: So there's so many different resources that we have with that.
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: So this, once again, this is like a preview of that.
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: If you are interested, we've pinned the link sixty five
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: percent off of the price that will be changing. It'll
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: still be discounting, but it's going from sixty five percent
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: off to fifty percent off. So you can do the
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: math on that. But it's a forty eight hours until
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: we change to fifty percent off.
- 1:04:10Speaker 8: Yeah, and I know there's a few people that are wondering, well,
- 1:04:12Speaker 8: I be behind when I get it inside the eyl University. No,
- 1:04:15Speaker 8: you won't be behind. Everything we've done for the past
- 1:04:18Speaker 8: or how many months, almost two years, take months. It's
- 1:04:22Speaker 8: been every video that we've ever done. When it was
- 1:04:25Speaker 8: just me and shot doing classes and to now we
- 1:04:28Speaker 8: have a list of professors doing classes. It's all there,
- 1:04:31Speaker 8: and we have none other than eyl Jana who holds orientation.
- 1:04:35Speaker 8: So if you're new to it and you feel like
- 1:04:37Speaker 8: you're kind of lost, we have an orientation just like
- 1:04:40Speaker 8: any other school would have, like a freshman orientation.
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: We have an earnest orientation so you can.
- 1:04:43Speaker 8: Get familiar with how to move around the site, how
- 1:04:46Speaker 8: to move around the community.
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: It's dope. Did you mention the book club?
- 1:04:49Speaker 8: Shout out to the book club has become a therapy club.
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a lot going on.
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: School.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: You know, we realized that it's not the institutional school
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: that's the problem.
- 1:05:02Speaker 4: It's what they're teaching.
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: But if you really look at it, school actually has
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: a lot of good things as far as the community.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: They have like mascots, they keep people engaged, but they're
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: just teaching nonsense. So we took the same structure that
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: a school has for a fraction of the price, and
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: we're actually teaching something that's really beneficial. So yeah, we
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: pin the link e y L University dot com and
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: let's get to some questions if we can, because this
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: is this is probably the most beneficial part of the
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: whole situation.
- 1:05:32Speaker 8: Uh, we got let's go. Let's start down here. Let's
- 1:05:35Speaker 8: start down here, Vanessa, We're coming to you. Unmute yourself.
- 1:05:37Speaker 8: You've been unmuted. What's going on, Vanessa?
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: Hey, y'all, how y'all doing today?
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: I hope y'all doing good.
- 1:05:47Speaker 10: Actually surprised y'all clicked on me. I was just eating
- 1:05:50Speaker 10: a puff right now, So excuse me if I sound
- 1:05:54Speaker 10: a little like I'm munching a bit.
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: I love it.
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: I love it.
- 1:05:59Speaker 10: I love it. So I'm just not getting started into,
- 1:06:05Speaker 10: you know, investing and stuff. I really want to invest
- 1:06:08Speaker 10: in some ETFs. Are there anyones that I would recommend
- 1:06:11Speaker 10: for like, like if I want to start investing into
- 1:06:16Speaker 10: water commodities?
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: Yeah, Actually, funny you say that there is an ETF,
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: a water ETF that we spoke about before. P h oh,
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: that is that is Investos Water Resource. So we had
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: we did an episode on on water on that's a
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: really big episode for us. Shoutut to Paula MacArthur. Shout
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: out to Paula. And if you look at p h O,
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: if you look at their chart, it's extremely impressive. Water
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: is something that is probably the most essential part of life,
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: water and air.
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: You can't live without it.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: And if you watch that episode, you understand that there's
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: a shortage of clean drinking water, which has made the
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: value of water even go up even more. This is
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: why water is being traded on the stock market and
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: that ETF is booming. If you look at their five
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: year chart, their five year chart is extremely impressive. Investco
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: is a very good company. So, yes, that is that
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: is a water ETF. I don't know if anybody else
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: has any others, but that is definitely it's crazy.
- 1:07:29Speaker 8: As you were saying that everybody was putting it in
- 1:07:31Speaker 8: the chat, so it means that you know, earners have
- 1:07:34Speaker 8: heard the information and now they're replaying and giving the
- 1:07:38Speaker 8: information now.
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: So that's dope. I love that. I love that.
- 1:07:41Speaker 10: Yeah, Yeah, okay, I'm definitely looking to PHO. But when
- 1:07:44Speaker 10: it comes to breaking down at ETF and like starting
- 1:07:46Speaker 10: to kind of do your research on specific companies with
- 1:07:51Speaker 10: those that ETF database that y'all just hooked us up with,
- 1:07:57Speaker 10: is that something that you would recommend to like look
- 1:08:00Speaker 10: at to really do your research on.
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's a great starting point.
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: For sure.
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: I'm doing it right now as I'm talking to you,
- 1:08:08Speaker 3: So it'll give you a great space that you can
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: look at. But don't stop there. Yeah, you don't stop there.
- 1:08:13Speaker 8: It's a great starting point because it's gonna it's gonna
- 1:08:15Speaker 8: tell you what's inside of it. It's going to tell
- 1:08:16Speaker 8: you how it's performing. It's going to tell you it's exception,
- 1:08:19Speaker 8: it's going to tell you the expense ratio, is going
- 1:08:21Speaker 8: to tell you a history of the company, and it's
- 1:08:24Speaker 8: going to tell you how I perform against other u
- 1:08:27Speaker 8: ETFs in its sector. And so that's always valuable information.
- 1:08:30Speaker 8: But that's not the end all be all. It's a
- 1:08:32Speaker 8: great starting point to get you familiar with what's inside
- 1:08:34Speaker 8: of the ETF that you're invested in.
- 1:08:38Speaker 10: Okay, all right, I don't want to break guidelines or anything,
- 1:08:42Speaker 10: but I appreciate youall's help. Shout out to y'all for real,
- 1:08:46Speaker 10: y'all really changing lives out here just with all the best.
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: Hey, thank you, And that's a thank you.
- 1:08:53Speaker 8: And shout out to the flaming hot Cheetos.
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: That's another benefit of Eyo University. You can sit at home,
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: eat hot, learn that your own fire.
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: M Ma song hot cheeters, what I snack on the.
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: Hey?
- 1:09:15Speaker 8: All right, Pierre, we're coming to you. Hey, Shout to Paula.
- 1:09:17Speaker 8: She's gonna check in. Shout out to Paula. Shout out
- 1:09:20Speaker 8: to Paula. Yeah, she's lock there right now. Hold on, Pierre,
- 1:09:23Speaker 8: I don't know what's going on now, Perre, We're gonna
- 1:09:26Speaker 8: have to pass on you, bro.
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't know what that message is about.
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: Terrence, we coming to you. I mute yourself. You've been unmuted.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: What's going on?
- 1:09:33Speaker 5: What's our family gratings? Canes and queens you're doing tonight?
- 1:09:39Speaker 5: We're good, we got already already.
- 1:09:43Speaker 4: Man.
- 1:09:43Speaker 5: Just enjoying this, this networking man and consuming all this
- 1:09:49Speaker 5: good knowledge you guys sharing with us.
- 1:09:51Speaker 4: Man, greatly appreciate it. Appreciate you. Belove it. Yes, sir, Yes, sir.
- 1:09:57Speaker 5: Well, I just wanted to how let war Street and
- 1:10:00Speaker 5: ask him how would you go about transferring a ribberhood
- 1:10:06Speaker 5: to count to like a td ameritry to count, because
- 1:10:10Speaker 5: I got both. But I was considering doing it in
- 1:10:13Speaker 5: the past, but I ain't want to do it and
- 1:10:16Speaker 5: mess up my portfolio because a lot of people was
- 1:10:20Speaker 5: getting locked out when everybody was doing that on the
- 1:10:23Speaker 5: fiasco with the game stop and all that, so I
- 1:10:28Speaker 5: fell back on it and I just still got all.
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: My you know, share as well or not with.
- 1:10:35Speaker 5: The ribblehood, but I'm definitely considering switching it up. So
- 1:10:39Speaker 5: I just wanted to know your take on that.
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: Nah. So what happens is anyone you want to, like,
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: you go to TDM Mierror trade. They have an actually
- 1:10:48Speaker 3: a breakdown on how you can do it. They actually
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: want you to transfer, right, So yeah, there's a and
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: everybody has like whether it's TD miror Trede Fidelity choice wise,
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: you can call me like, yo I want. I actually
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: had to get like ten of my trappers they had
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: they wanted to swap over. So you just called them
- 1:11:07Speaker 3: and they'll shoot. They'll give you a breakdown on what
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: you gotta do. In most cases, I think T the
- 1:11:13Speaker 3: miritory they actually cover the feet for switching over. I
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: don't know about you'll swab and Fidelity, but I think
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: that tmeritory covers the feet, so you can actually do that.
- 1:11:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I think it.
- 1:11:27Speaker 5: And if it was a feel, I don't think it's
- 1:11:29Speaker 5: that much of a fee, so it definitely is something
- 1:11:34Speaker 5: I'm considered doing sooner than letters. So I really appreciate that.
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: Because they want they want you. Yeah, yeah, they want
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: you over there, they want you. I'm not gonna lie man.
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: So I actually had opened up a ribberhood uh account,
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: but it was just to like show people because it
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: was easy to just take a snapshot on my phone.
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: I was like, man, I'm not about to do this. Man,
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: somebody says a seventy five out of feet yeah for sure,
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: like it is, you know, but they have an actual
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: they'll walk you through what you gotta do and they'll
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: switch it all over. You won't lose nothing, man, Okay, cool? Cool?
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: And it was another thing.
- 1:12:12Speaker 4: Got now you got?
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: I was.
- 1:12:15Speaker 8: I was just saying because I heard a few earnest
- 1:12:17Speaker 8: telling us that that that if you switched they waved
- 1:12:19Speaker 8: the seventy five dollars fees.
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: That correct, That's what I'm saying. I didn't think it was.
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: I think that's because that's what I remember, Like I
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: remember my traper swippinge switching over, and I remember like
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: they waved the feed right right. I didn't know who
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: exactly was. I told them to your Merritrade for sure,
- 1:12:31Speaker 3: cause that's who I started, that's who my that's who
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: mine's with. So I remember them waving the feet for
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: switching over. That's why I said that in the Awesome
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: Awesome the one last thing.
- 1:12:43Speaker 5: I do have crypto currency in my portfolio with Robin Hood,
- 1:12:48Speaker 5: but you know, TD Ameritrade don't deal with the crypto
- 1:12:52Speaker 5: from my understanding, So what would be your your take
- 1:12:56Speaker 5: on that far.
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: As just going.
- 1:12:58Speaker 5: Ahead and lock will date that because I know from
- 1:13:03Speaker 5: doing a little research that they were saying that you
- 1:13:05Speaker 5: don't technically own your crypto dealing with Robin Hood if
- 1:13:10Speaker 5: you're going through purchasing it through the account.
- 1:13:13Speaker 3: So he's doing rock with Robin Hood. He having they
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: having may be having too many snags game Bro, like
- 1:13:22Speaker 3: they did the Master of the Back dud Bro. You know,
- 1:13:26Speaker 3: I agree, business like a little listen, New York, New York.
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: He's got.
- 1:13:46Speaker 8: Bro already, man lots hello, Hello you Bro, Yeah, like
- 1:13:54Speaker 8: you want to know?
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: So that's all good?
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: That's how brother here? What can you do? Shay you well,
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: we're coming to you and man you well, we coming
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: to you.
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: Meet yourself.
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: You've been unmuted. Appreciate you guys. I've been watching you guys.
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: Every night you came on, try to put on on
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: my fan.
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: Too, it too, that's dope. Appreciate you well for sure. Trap.
- 1:14:18Speaker 13: I paid you some money too. I got your first
- 1:14:20Speaker 13: couple of steps off your joint too. I spread money
- 1:14:24Speaker 13: out so I got a couple of things.
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: I'm a new like this.
- 1:14:29Speaker 13: I don't want to braging nothing, but I'm a newly
- 1:14:31Speaker 13: found six figure type of dude.
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: So I'm trying to figure out well I can.
- 1:14:36Speaker 13: Do with my money because they don't do nothing for
- 1:14:38Speaker 13: me just sitting there. So I got a lot of
- 1:14:42Speaker 13: friends that's been doing a little day trading. My pops
- 1:14:44Speaker 13: do some trading, but I don't understand what the hell
- 1:14:46Speaker 13: they be talking about. So my question is if I'm
- 1:14:49Speaker 13: getting started. I got about five to six grand in
- 1:14:52Speaker 13: there already spread out between some bitcoin.
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: Some Apple shares, some basic stuff.
- 1:15:00Speaker 13: But what I really want to do, I'm listening to
- 1:15:01Speaker 13: Ian and I'm gonna listen to you guys. I want
- 1:15:04Speaker 13: to structure it so that I can start replacing my
- 1:15:06Speaker 13: income with it. What's a good way for me, as
- 1:15:10Speaker 13: somebody that doesn't really know too much, A safe way
- 1:15:12Speaker 13: for me to get in and how much would it
- 1:15:14Speaker 13: cost to start generating some residual like one hundred dollars
- 1:15:18Speaker 13: a day type of thing.
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: So you got to look for a few things. Right.
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: So now you're trying to do that, you want to
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: get into trade, and you don't really won't get into
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: investing if you're trying to just start generating money asap. Right,
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: So one of the things I would do is say,
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: and I tell everybody this is like when you heard
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: Troy City at the beginning, like Wall Street looks like
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: us naw, Right, So there's unlimited things that you can do.
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: One of the things what I would say, because you're
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: six finer earned, and salute to that and be thankful
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: for that. Right, just they one of the things you
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: want to start doing is learning the fundamentals so you
- 1:15:51Speaker 3: can start having your money work for you first and foremo. Right.
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: And because once you learn the fundamentals, Now, while you're
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: learning the fundamentals, then you can try to get it.
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: Then you can get into a trade. I have no
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: problem with people day trading, and I have no problem
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: when people get into options. I'm a problem with any
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: of that. But I think you should learn the fundamentals
- 1:16:09Speaker 3: of buying hole first and then start getting into that
- 1:16:14Speaker 3: tradeing thing, and when it comes to generating money, it
- 1:16:17Speaker 3: signs solely up to you. Right. Everybody is different. So
- 1:16:20Speaker 3: I can tell you some days I've opened my options
- 1:16:24Speaker 3: account and I've made sixty thousand dollars right, and some
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: days I've opened it up and I've made fourteen hundred
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: dollars right. And so it depends on the actually trade
- 1:16:34Speaker 3: you're making. It depends on the position you have, else,
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: depends on how much you have in there, right, So
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: every everything is not a cookie cutter answer. And I
- 1:16:43Speaker 3: don't want I don't want to feel like I could
- 1:16:44Speaker 3: just give you one answer that'll fit that I will say,
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: start with buying hole, start with understanding that you see
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: your pastas and trading like while you got your money
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: working for you doing that. Let's say you got ten
- 1:16:56Speaker 3: to say, you got six thousand dollars, right, that's the
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: number you said. Take four thousand of that, put in
- 1:17:00Speaker 3: buy and hold, and then take the two thousand and
- 1:17:02Speaker 3: learn how to trade with gotcha? And that will help
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: you because what happens is you understand that the two
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: thousand that's your learning money, right, and take your time
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: learn it. Understand as you go I will tell you this,
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: when you get into trading, be patient, don't rush, and
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: don't take what's there. Don't make it out what you
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: wanted to be. Take what's there. One of the things
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: that happened with people with his options are they start
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: saying this is what I think it's going to be.
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: This is now a take what's there and move from
- 1:17:34Speaker 3: the front. Yeah.
- 1:17:35Speaker 13: I learned that with the Dulge coin over the last
- 1:17:40Speaker 13: I bought that thirty five and then the club.
- 1:17:43Speaker 3: I know, I know, I know.
- 1:17:45Speaker 13: I had a homeboy that invested in a November twentieth
- 1:17:48Speaker 13: and he bought it a million dollars one point one
- 1:17:51Speaker 13: million tokens for four thousand dollars. He sold it two
- 1:17:55Speaker 13: weeks later because he had lost like five hundred in it,
- 1:17:58Speaker 13: so he missed out on like three hundred grand. So
- 1:18:01Speaker 13: I know how important that money is. And like I said,
- 1:18:04Speaker 13: that four grand that I had just had playing around
- 1:18:06Speaker 13: where I could have made a move like that. So
- 1:18:09Speaker 13: is there anything that you could suggest as like a
- 1:18:12Speaker 13: basic read or like a basic knowledge point I should
- 1:18:15Speaker 13: go to that would enhance my knowledge on that and
- 1:18:17Speaker 13: give me like a good foundation on what on trading
- 1:18:21Speaker 13: or on investment on both like like what you were
- 1:18:24Speaker 13: talking about? What as far as like I know people
- 1:18:28Speaker 13: say you got to be able to recharge, you got.
- 1:18:29Speaker 3: To know when to get in and get out.
- 1:18:32Speaker 13: Is there like a basic structure you could kind of
- 1:18:34Speaker 13: watch for that or something you could do to kind
- 1:18:36Speaker 13: of mimic that.
- 1:18:38Speaker 3: Yep, to you hear the hang of two things. EYL
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: does a group chat. I was in there one day
- 1:18:46Speaker 3: when they have people not explaining charge they do all
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: that and Wall Street traveled community bro, Like, I'm just
- 1:18:53Speaker 3: want we teach it all, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:18:55Speaker 3: So that's all my go to. Like my brothers over here,
- 1:18:58Speaker 3: they have a whole I was in there on one
- 1:19:00Speaker 3: day where they had the guys and they were breaking
- 1:19:02Speaker 3: charge it down. One of the things e y L
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: is good at is saying, you know, I don't know
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: it alls. They bring people in the teacher, right, so
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: that's what they agreed at. I even followed destruction like
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: I got somebody come and teach tryptrom like well, like
- 1:19:13Speaker 3: that's one of the things you do. Like I'm greed
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: at what I'm greed at, but I don't got to
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: be agreed at everything, So I bring people in who
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: are great. I follow my brother's structure. So that's what
- 1:19:20Speaker 3: you can do. Like they have an idea they bring
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: I don't know, I forgot the dude's name. They come in,
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: they show you read and they do the whole and
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: they make it easy for you. So join E y
- 1:19:31Speaker 3: L bro come for me to Wat Street, trapping me
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: in my community. We talk about fundamentals. We break down
- 1:19:35Speaker 3: how to learn the company, how to read the company,
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: how to understand the company, how to buy the discom price.
- 1:19:39Speaker 3: You don't got to go nowhere.
- 1:19:40Speaker 4: El that appreciate you, guys, appreciate you, Appreciate you. Shout
- 1:19:45Speaker 4: out to all boys.
- 1:19:46Speaker 8: Uh Francis, I can't.
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: Think of the name.
- 1:19:54Speaker 4: Those guys especially, Shout out to them.
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: They've been blessing us the last couple of months with
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: that cheat code, technical analysis and serious there's no joy.
- 1:20:02Speaker 13: Come down to d C to man, sure some loved
- 1:20:07Speaker 13: was a vibe.
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: Man talk about.
- 1:20:13Speaker 4: I mean we touched the floor.
- 1:20:15Speaker 3: We didn't even have to dribble the ball.
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: We put we put Wall Street traffer on stage. Man,
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: that was your first public speaking first.
- 1:20:22Speaker 3: That was my first one that big I had somebody,
- 1:20:25Speaker 3: but that was the first one that scale man. Then
- 1:20:27Speaker 3: y'all left me to talk to eighty people by myself
- 1:20:32Speaker 3: because we had to do like four episodes. Nobody saw that.
- 1:20:34Speaker 3: That's why who episode. I look back, there's eighty people like.
- 1:20:39Speaker 8: Show out crazy. I thought that was at that event.
- 1:20:44Speaker 8: That was dope, man. We went to It worked so
- 1:20:47Speaker 8: hard that I fell asleep during the basketball game.
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: I was love love with d C. That was a
- 1:20:52Speaker 3: vibe that was dope. Definitely got to go to what
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: that part was. I wanted to bus boys and poors.
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: Favorite part of these You gotta go south Side. Shout
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: out to south I lived there that big chair. Yes, sir,
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: shout out. Shout out to you, Emuel, shout out to DC.
- 1:21:12Speaker 4: Man.
- 1:21:13Speaker 8: All right, let's see what we got. Let's see what
- 1:21:14Speaker 8: we got. Let's go to Adrian. We're coming to you.
- 1:21:17Speaker 8: I'm yourself. You've been mute. It was going on Adrian.
- 1:21:22Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:21:23Speaker 12: Yeah Yo, Thank y'all so much for choosing me, man,
- 1:21:28Speaker 12: can you hear me?
- 1:21:29Speaker 3: Yeah? Perfect?
- 1:21:31Speaker 4: Oh okay.
- 1:21:33Speaker 12: First of all, I just got like a little quick
- 1:21:34Speaker 12: praise report with regard to him, five hundred. He was
- 1:21:37Speaker 12: on the show last month and I was able to
- 1:21:41Speaker 12: raise my credit score like one hundred points by just
- 1:21:44Speaker 12: following you know, his process. So I just thank y'all
- 1:21:48Speaker 12: so much for all the stuff that y'all bring into
- 1:21:50Speaker 12: the game.
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: Shout out to Mark, Shout out to my boy, him
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: five hundred Him, not them. He was with us last
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: night at our networking event for Eyo University. One of
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: the most dangerous men on the internet. That boys. Yeah,
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: boy is different man, no doubt, no doubt.
- 1:22:06Speaker 4: Yo.
- 1:22:06Speaker 12: When y'all come to Atlanta, I'm like five hours away,
- 1:22:08Speaker 12: but I'll drive and definitely make the trip. So if
- 1:22:10Speaker 12: y'all come to Atlanta, please let me know. I will
- 1:22:12Speaker 12: definitely be up there. I'm gonna get straight to my
- 1:22:16Speaker 12: my question. Uh, I'm gonna call you. I'm in gangs
- 1:22:19Speaker 12: with Florida.
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: Said, because New Orleans six hours all right? Cool?
- 1:22:24Speaker 12: Yeah, but uh, trap, I made a terrible mistake and
- 1:22:31Speaker 12: I got into coinbase as soon as they opened at
- 1:22:34Speaker 12: like just under four hundred, and now I think it's
- 1:22:38Speaker 12: like just under three hundred.
- 1:22:40Speaker 4: So I lost my shirt.
- 1:22:42Speaker 12: But you said, because I follow you on Instagram, you
- 1:22:47Speaker 12: were saying that you should never get you should never
- 1:22:51Speaker 12: buy stock in a company as soon as they as
- 1:22:54Speaker 12: soon as the I p o hits, and what I
- 1:22:58Speaker 12: was trying to find out is what would you recommend
- 1:23:01Speaker 12: like with regard to coinbase. Do you think that it's
- 1:23:04Speaker 12: ever going to get like back up to that four hundred?
- 1:23:07Speaker 3: All right, I'm glad you said that, man, because I
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: saw some people saying something and I want to address
- 1:23:11Speaker 3: this right quick. So I don't buy IPOs or directs,
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: and as soon as they come to the market, just
- 1:23:18Speaker 3: because I feel like I need to get about four
- 1:23:21Speaker 3: quarters of information from them. I bought Roadblocks. My daughter
- 1:23:26Speaker 3: has her own account that I put money in, and
- 1:23:29Speaker 3: I bought it for her because she literally woke up
- 1:23:31Speaker 3: one day because I was CNBC so much and she
- 1:23:34Speaker 3: was like, Daddy cannot own Roadblocks like I own Disney,
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: And I was like, of course you can. So I
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: bought up some shells. But it's for her and it
- 1:23:43Speaker 3: wasn't no big deal. It was just to make a smile.
- 1:23:45Speaker 3: But I typically myself don't buy them and IPO phase
- 1:23:50Speaker 3: or direct. Listen, I think one day I'm gonna do
- 1:23:52Speaker 3: a post on the difference between the two. You didn't
- 1:23:55Speaker 3: lose your money, so I want you to understand that
- 1:23:58Speaker 3: the only way you lose your money is if you
- 1:24:01Speaker 3: sell it right now. So let's let's let's understand that
- 1:24:05Speaker 3: if you buy a stock and the price goes down,
- 1:24:08Speaker 3: what's that beautiful? Okay, I need to turn it down
- 1:24:12Speaker 3: a little bit.
- 1:24:14Speaker 8: The same person, why are you telling people about my portfolio?
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: Exactly like that down at That's a fact, right, You
- 1:24:28Speaker 3: don't lose money in a stock when you when the
- 1:24:30Speaker 3: stock price goes down, your equity decreases, but you don't
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: lose money. You only lose money when you sell it
- 1:24:36Speaker 3: because now you've locked in the loss. Right, That's why
- 1:24:40Speaker 3: I buy a whole is so dope. So what I
- 1:24:43Speaker 3: would typically do if I was you, And one of
- 1:24:45Speaker 3: the reasons again why I don't just buy IP is
- 1:24:47Speaker 3: out of the gates because first, when you're buying an
- 1:24:49Speaker 3: I PO, one of the things directly, one of the
- 1:24:51Speaker 3: things that's happening is the people who invested early on
- 1:24:56Speaker 3: this becomes the exit strategy for them, right, and unless
- 1:25:00Speaker 3: they're in, they have what's called a lockout phase where
- 1:25:03Speaker 3: they got to keep it six months or maybe a
- 1:25:05Speaker 3: year or maybe two years, depending on what the lockout
- 1:25:08Speaker 3: phase is. Right, So we got to figure that out.
- 1:25:12Speaker 3: So that's normally when they're getting out. For me after
- 1:25:16Speaker 3: three to four quarters, I now have an idea of
- 1:25:19Speaker 3: one how the business make money. I've now let all
- 1:25:23Speaker 3: the big investors you know, do what they're gonna do.
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying, They're gonna be in for
- 1:25:28Speaker 3: the long term. Whatever I can now, I can now
- 1:25:30Speaker 3: develop my game plan on that. For you, I would
- 1:25:35Speaker 3: have to ask you, how do you feel about Coinbase? Now?
- 1:25:38Speaker 3: What I do know is when I'm thinking about investing
- 1:25:42Speaker 3: in it, but I'm gonna give it a year. I'm
- 1:25:43Speaker 3: not gonna lie. They put out great numbers before the IPO, like,
- 1:25:50Speaker 3: they put out great number. I mean before they before
- 1:25:52Speaker 3: they hit the marketing direct listic. They put out great numbers.
- 1:25:55Speaker 3: So if you go look back and look at how
- 1:25:57Speaker 3: the company has been performing forty became public, they actually
- 1:26:02Speaker 3: did great numbers. So now you're saying, Okay, what happens
- 1:26:06Speaker 3: now is because they're on the market now public, they
- 1:26:10Speaker 3: now have to open up the doors to everything they're doing,
- 1:26:13Speaker 3: and they also have to give us all the information
- 1:26:16Speaker 3: and so this we build our strategy. And so for you,
- 1:26:18Speaker 3: if you bought into coinbase, do you believe in it?
- 1:26:23Speaker 4: Yeah? I do, Yeah, I do.
- 1:26:24Speaker 12: I think I mean, it's the biggest company, you know
- 1:26:28Speaker 12: in the crypto space, so I just assume that it
- 1:26:31Speaker 12: would eventually, you know, take over, just because of the
- 1:26:34Speaker 12: name recognition one.
- 1:26:37Speaker 3: So one of the things before you buy a company.
- 1:26:39Speaker 3: So I'm gonna tell you all this right quick. I
- 1:26:40Speaker 3: always give myself. I always have these rules, right, but
- 1:26:43Speaker 3: I'm gonna just give y'all three things. One like, ask yourself,
- 1:26:46Speaker 3: why am I at this business? What attracted me here? Right? Two?
- 1:26:51Speaker 3: Do I understand how do they make money? Three? Do
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: I see ten year growth potential? Because if I can't
- 1:27:01Speaker 3: own a company for ten years and see it growing,
- 1:27:03Speaker 3: I don't want to pay I don't want to spend
- 1:27:04Speaker 3: ten minutes Washington.
- 1:27:06Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:27:06Speaker 3: So the next thing for you to do is say, Okay,
- 1:27:09Speaker 3: you bought it at how.
- 1:27:09Speaker 4: Much it was three ninety eight?
- 1:27:13Speaker 3: Three ninety eight? What is that right now?
- 1:27:17Speaker 4: Two nine?
- 1:27:19Speaker 3: Buy some more right now. So now what's going to
- 1:27:22Speaker 3: happen is this was gonna have you. And I'm only
- 1:27:24Speaker 3: saying that if you believe in it. So what happens
- 1:27:26Speaker 3: is if you bought it at three ninety something and
- 1:27:28Speaker 3: you buy that two ninety nine right now, you'll now
- 1:27:31Speaker 3: bring your cost basis down, which is the cost that
- 1:27:33Speaker 3: you bought it at. You'll bring it down from two
- 1:27:36Speaker 3: ninety eight, I mean three ninety something to about two fifty. Right,
- 1:27:41Speaker 3: So now, so now you'll see profits. You'll now be
- 1:27:44Speaker 3: into profit at two fifty instead of waiting till it
- 1:27:48Speaker 3: gets I mean at three point fifty, instead of waiting
- 1:27:51Speaker 3: till it gets three hundred. You feel what I'm saying?
- 1:27:54Speaker 3: And so what I like to do is with me,
- 1:27:57Speaker 3: when I buy a company, I always do what is
- 1:28:00Speaker 3: called that's not dollar cost average, and y'all that's called
- 1:28:04Speaker 3: averaging down. The dollar cost averaging is something completely different.
- 1:28:08Speaker 3: So averaging down is what I love to do. I
- 1:28:10Speaker 3: buy it, I figure out what a business is worth,
- 1:28:13Speaker 3: and then I find prices at which i'll buy it again. Right,
- 1:28:18Speaker 3: and so, so you bought it at three something, So
- 1:28:20Speaker 3: now I'll have three ways I look at it. If
- 1:28:22Speaker 3: I bought it at three fifty or three ninety something,
- 1:28:25Speaker 3: what are the next two prices I'll buy some more at.
- 1:28:27Speaker 3: So if I bought it at three ninety, my next
- 1:28:30Speaker 3: price may be three point fifty or three twenty five,
- 1:28:34Speaker 3: and then my next price may be two seventy five.
- 1:28:37Speaker 3: You feel what I'm saying, So, now what happens is
- 1:28:39Speaker 3: if it goes down, I'm now bringing my cost basis
- 1:28:43Speaker 3: down with right, So now I'm no longer I can
- 1:28:46Speaker 3: I don't got to wait till three ninety eight to
- 1:28:48Speaker 3: see profit. Now, from three ninety eight to three fifty,
- 1:28:51Speaker 3: I'll probably bring my cost bases down to about another
- 1:28:53Speaker 3: ten to fifteen dollars. That adds up, right, So you
- 1:28:57Speaker 3: find prices to average down at. But I don't. I don't.
- 1:29:02Speaker 3: I don't buy IPOs out the gate for myself like
- 1:29:05Speaker 3: that because I know there's a few exceptions to the rules,
- 1:29:11Speaker 3: and a lot of times it's the smaller companies that
- 1:29:13Speaker 3: you don't even hear about that just take off at
- 1:29:15Speaker 3: the IPO, right. The bigger companies people getting out of that,
- 1:29:20Speaker 3: they make any money they're getting out of that. So
- 1:29:22Speaker 3: but because you're there, you believe in That's why I say,
- 1:29:24Speaker 3: do you believe in it? If you believe in it,
- 1:29:26Speaker 3: you start buying averaging down. And then once you figure
- 1:29:29Speaker 3: that price the average down that you said, Okay, I'm
- 1:29:31Speaker 3: gonna let it take off. But once it takes off,
- 1:29:33Speaker 3: you don't start buying more until you re evaluate the
- 1:29:36Speaker 3: company a year later. I evaluate every company every six months.
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: Yeah, that's extremely Shout to my boy Mike Rashid, who's
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: in the YouTube chat is good.
- 1:29:46Speaker 4: Kay, yeah, Yeah, that's what's good. That's my god.
- 1:29:50Speaker 3: Man. We got out for the link over. He was like,
- 1:29:54Speaker 3: trap you coming.
- 1:29:55Speaker 4: I was like yeah.
- 1:29:56Speaker 3: When I got my a daughter, I was like, I
- 1:29:57Speaker 3: ain't come. Don't they got a company? Just a mic man.
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: Were on Micaero Sheet's podcast, and that's crazy. It's doing numbers.
- 1:30:07Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: I just the first day it was like four thousand
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: views and I didn't check it and I looked two
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: days ago and it's been out for four days and we
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: had one hundred and seventy seven thousand views.
- 1:30:23Speaker 3: Just community is insane.
- 1:30:26Speaker 4: Heavily respected and just a good dude.
- 1:30:28Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: We're going to be doing a lot of stuff with mic,
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: so shout to us. Watch yeah, just watch. Yeah, that's
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: a fact co legends only, that's a fact. But buying
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: buying down is something like what you just explained is
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: something that is extremely powerful. And I actually did that
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: recently with an option. And you can do this like
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: what he's explaining. You can do regular stock, you can
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: do options, you can do anything. And I had an
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: option call which I think it was a It was
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: one forty.
- 1:31:04Speaker 4: One.
- 1:31:05Speaker 2: Yeah, it was in January twenty three March March March
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: twenty three. It was a one forty March twenty March
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: twenty three call for Apple. And I was down pretty bad.
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: I was down forty percent. I was down like forty percent,
- 1:31:21Speaker 2: and I put it. I put a substantial amount of
- 1:31:24Speaker 2: money in because looking at the charts understanding that Apple,
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: you know, we felt it was kind of gonna go
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: on the run with earnings and everything. I'm like, I'm
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: already down forty percent, So I put a substantial amount
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: of money. The minute I put that in, it brought
- 1:31:39Speaker 2: me back. It brought me to down eight percent instantly,
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: and now I'm up twenty two percent. So that's a
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: sixty percent swing swing. So it's like, all you take
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: a shot, you might miss the first shot. Move in
- 1:31:58Speaker 2: a little bit, get closer to the basket it. You
- 1:32:01Speaker 2: know what I'm said, don't look.
- 1:32:05Speaker 8: Look the reason he did that is because he believes
- 1:32:07Speaker 8: in the company, right, Like, if you don't believe in
- 1:32:09Speaker 8: the company, you're not gonna do that.
- 1:32:12Speaker 2: Yeah, don't just do that with anything, Like if you
- 1:32:14Speaker 2: down you got X, Y and Z paper nail company,
- 1:32:18Speaker 2: and you down sixty percent and you're thinking you're going
- 1:32:21Speaker 2: you're gonna just now, you're gonna be down ninety percent
- 1:32:23Speaker 2: when it keeps going like it, you can't strictly for
- 1:32:26Speaker 2: live man here, don't play yourself and think like, Okay.
- 1:32:29Speaker 3: You definitely got to beat in the business. You definitely
- 1:32:32Speaker 3: gotta That's one of the most important things with anything
- 1:32:37Speaker 3: with investing. You gotta believe in the business. That's the
- 1:32:40Speaker 3: only thing gonna keep me from paying again. Right if
- 1:32:43Speaker 3: you if you guess, if you're doing guesswork, every time
- 1:32:46Speaker 3: it drops, you're gonna pay it. You're gonna sell your
- 1:32:47Speaker 3: shirt if you believe it. Yo, I'm telling y'all we
- 1:32:50Speaker 3: done been down big money and be like how you feel, bro, man,
- 1:32:53Speaker 3: I'm good, I ain't tripping on it all good? Tell
- 1:32:55Speaker 3: him all right, talk to him cool, what we're doing well,
- 1:33:00Speaker 3: I ain't going about that. What was about to do
- 1:33:02Speaker 3: when we leave it up is because we believe in
- 1:33:04Speaker 3: the like no whether it's long time, buy a whole,
- 1:33:08Speaker 3: whether it's mid time, whether it's options. Because we do
- 1:33:12Speaker 3: the research and a homework, that eliminates the panic that
- 1:33:17Speaker 3: eliminates the panic. Now Rashad is just a pessimistic.
- 1:33:21Speaker 8: I'm about to say he'd be trying to make me panic.
- 1:33:23Speaker 8: I'm like, nah, bro, we're good.
- 1:33:26Speaker 3: Ways, yo. You know the moon is about it's about
- 1:33:30Speaker 3: to come out, you know what.
- 1:33:35Speaker 2: That's what I was always taught Tod to my man
- 1:33:37Speaker 2: jam You always said, like, you know, kill the deal.
- 1:33:39Speaker 2: I'm always taught to kill the deal, meaning if something
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: is brought to me, I'm trying to figure out what,
- 1:33:45Speaker 2: how can how doesn't it make sense?
- 1:33:47Speaker 4: What? How?
- 1:33:48Speaker 2: How it can go wrong? I'm a I'm a defensive player.
- 1:33:51Speaker 2: So once once you once you, once you, once you realize,
- 1:33:57Speaker 2: once you realize all of the things, once you realize
- 1:33:59Speaker 2: all the things that can go wrong, now you're in
- 1:34:02Speaker 2: a position to actually ma a decision.
- 1:34:05Speaker 4: But everybody's different.
- 1:34:07Speaker 2: Some people is more like Troy's more offensive, like he
- 1:34:10Speaker 2: takes more risks. But you know, to me, I think,
- 1:34:14Speaker 2: I think a good defense is the best offense. And
- 1:34:17Speaker 2: I'm just not trying to lose no money. That's the
- 1:34:19Speaker 2: number one rule of investing.
- 1:34:21Speaker 3: I'm not trying the number one rule of don't rule
- 1:34:23Speaker 3: number one, don't lose money, rule number two. All of
- 1:34:26Speaker 3: rule one.
- 1:34:27Speaker 4: That's a fact, big fact. That is a fact.
- 1:34:29Speaker 3: That's the more perfect way I will say that. We
- 1:34:34Speaker 3: call that. We call that in the in the traffic community.
- 1:34:38Speaker 3: Looking at the inverse of every situation and looking at
- 1:34:42Speaker 3: the inverse simply means how do I understand the downside?
- 1:34:46Speaker 3: Like I gotta understand the downside to whether it's buying hold,
- 1:34:50Speaker 3: whether it's options, whatever. I need to understand the downside
- 1:34:55Speaker 3: because once if I don't know what, if I don't
- 1:34:57Speaker 3: know the dangers of this, then I'm really that's in
- 1:35:00Speaker 3: the blind. So when I invest in the company, I
- 1:35:04Speaker 3: want to look at what lawsuits they had again them
- 1:35:06Speaker 3: why people left the company with the people who work
- 1:35:09Speaker 3: for the company saying I need to know the bad
- 1:35:11Speaker 3: side of it too. So now stuff doesn't just throw
- 1:35:14Speaker 3: me off you we gotta understand that. But because we
- 1:35:17Speaker 3: were talking.
- 1:35:18Speaker 8: One to one, all that yeah, future innovations, if they
- 1:35:23Speaker 8: offer guidance.
- 1:35:24Speaker 3: I want to know that these.
- 1:35:26Speaker 8: Are the things you gotta you gotta look into. It's
- 1:35:29Speaker 8: all places part plays a part in your in your research.
- 1:35:32Speaker 3: It's crazy. Listen, as I'm talking to y'all, the guy
- 1:35:35Speaker 3: really texted me just now and I was on the
- 1:35:37Speaker 3: phone for them two hours man, and he literally told me,
- 1:35:41Speaker 3: he's saying, right now, man, you're hitting it right. I guess.
- 1:35:43Speaker 3: So he's watching it. He's like, man, you're hitting it
- 1:35:45Speaker 3: right on the head. It's crazy. So I told him
- 1:35:48Speaker 3: to watch y'all, Like, bro, you're hitting it right on
- 1:35:51Speaker 3: the head. He literally texted me right there. But one
- 1:35:54Speaker 3: of the things we talked about today was and we
- 1:35:56Speaker 3: talked about how there was this great opportunity for the
- 1:36:01Speaker 3: playing field to be leveled. So I don't kept if
- 1:36:05Speaker 3: crypto NFTs, I don't care what's coming. I want you
- 1:36:08Speaker 3: to know that the stock market will not go anywhere, right,
- 1:36:13Speaker 3: will not go anywhere because too many people's billions of
- 1:36:16Speaker 3: dollars is tied to it. Right, These other ass these
- 1:36:19Speaker 3: will be other asset classes that just it's like, this
- 1:36:22Speaker 3: is the burger, that's the fries, that's the high c
- 1:36:26Speaker 3: that's the apple pie. You want some nuggets too, That's
- 1:36:29Speaker 3: what these things are. You can make money with them
- 1:36:32Speaker 3: as well. But the market isn't going anywhere. What happens
- 1:36:35Speaker 3: is now these other asset classes present greater opportunities for us.
- 1:36:40Speaker 3: The thing that's gonna hinder a lot of people it's
- 1:36:43Speaker 3: gonna break a lot of people is because they're doing
- 1:36:47Speaker 3: more guesswork than research. You're gonna do more guesswork than research.
- 1:36:56Speaker 3: People often ask me, but trap, if you waited a
- 1:36:59Speaker 3: year for your post while you missed all those games,
- 1:37:01Speaker 3: I was like iron tripman, because when I did get
- 1:37:03Speaker 3: it at full twenty five or round up to fifteen,
- 1:37:05Speaker 3: and I was good fifteen hundred, I was good. Yeah,
- 1:37:08Speaker 3: I mean you got a price all you. I had
- 1:37:10Speaker 3: a price. I had a price on it what I
- 1:37:12Speaker 3: wanted to get it at. Like you can't guess your
- 1:37:15Speaker 3: way to wealth, y'all. And the objective for us is
- 1:37:19Speaker 3: to help no matter what avenue we taken. The objective
- 1:37:23Speaker 3: for us is to help you all build wealth. And
- 1:37:26Speaker 3: it's not because we've read it in a book. It's
- 1:37:29Speaker 3: because we're literally telling y'all will work for us. I'm
- 1:37:34Speaker 3: being real with y'all, Like the stock market changed my life,
- 1:37:39Speaker 3: the podcasting game and investing change Eyl's life, real estate change,
- 1:37:45Speaker 3: Matt the mortgage guy's life. Right. So the information that
- 1:37:50Speaker 3: you're getting from people is of two things, learned and
- 1:37:56Speaker 3: experience knowledge. Is learned knowledge, and then there's experience knowledge.
- 1:38:03Speaker 3: The two together is your most dangerous weapon. Because some
- 1:38:08Speaker 3: things can't be taught, You gotta be They got to
- 1:38:10Speaker 3: be experienced, right. I didn't know how I was going
- 1:38:14Speaker 3: to react. Un So I was down one hundred and
- 1:38:15Speaker 3: fifty thousand dollars, and then I learned how to react.
- 1:38:18Speaker 3: Being down one hundred and fifty thousand dollars down, I
- 1:38:20Speaker 3: called Troy, like, Yo, what were doing? Huh what?
- 1:38:22Speaker 4: I said?
- 1:38:23Speaker 2: Man, I'm right with I'm right with you. A lot
- 1:38:26Speaker 2: of a lot of this stuff, A lot of this
- 1:38:28Speaker 2: stuff you don't like. You say you don't appreciate until
- 1:38:31Speaker 2: you actually are in that position to be down one
- 1:38:33Speaker 2: hundred and fifty thousand one day. When talks about having
- 1:38:37Speaker 2: sixty months of reserves, it sounds crazy. I'm liquid over
- 1:38:44Speaker 2: sixty months and I don't I don't feel safe.
- 1:38:49Speaker 3: But look what then Mark Cuban said, if you.
- 1:38:52Speaker 8: Got a million, you're walking on the exshells.
- 1:38:56Speaker 3: Yeah, you walk crazy, crazy that we say that talking
- 1:39:00Speaker 3: to a billion dollar man. And you're listening to somebody
- 1:39:03Speaker 3: say if you got a million, you on eggshells. You
- 1:39:09Speaker 3: feel me like And that's the mindset that tells you
- 1:39:13Speaker 3: that the world is shifting to a different place. This
- 1:39:18Speaker 3: is showing us that one streaming income is now death
- 1:39:26Speaker 3: real talk like you're you're literally bloody meat in the jungle,
- 1:39:32Speaker 3: right and the only thing that can save you is
- 1:39:36Speaker 3: financial literacy. Yeah, with a company twenty six trillion dollars
- 1:39:42Speaker 3: in debt, Yo, it's a wonder why the man says,
- 1:39:46Speaker 3: with one million dollars, you're walking on eggshell. So we
- 1:39:52Speaker 3: need y'all to take this information. We need y'all to
- 1:39:54Speaker 3: take this knowledge. It's the reason why EYL doing what
- 1:39:57Speaker 3: they're doing. It's not for popularity, I can promise you, you know,
- 1:40:00Speaker 3: like I'm gonna be one, I'm I'm from the streets
- 1:40:03Speaker 3: for real. I had to learn how to get on camera. Yo,
- 1:40:06Speaker 3: I hate doing it. I hate doing it. I had
- 1:40:10Speaker 3: to learn how to do it. So popularity is not
- 1:40:12Speaker 3: the thing, know, theariety is not the thing. What makes
- 1:40:16Speaker 3: us feel better is saying, yo, we can take the
- 1:40:18Speaker 3: information and knowledge and feed our people. Y'all. That's dangerous
- 1:40:22Speaker 3: because nobody else ain't gonna teach us but us. Literally,
- 1:40:26Speaker 3: man told me this today. He said to me, bruh,
- 1:40:28Speaker 3: when you're teaching, Wall Street does not want people to
- 1:40:32Speaker 3: know that.
- 1:40:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:40:35Speaker 3: Right, So when my brother called me and said, trap
- 1:40:37Speaker 3: cause you do it intro the stocks for us. Bro
- 1:40:39Speaker 3: up Man, I said, that's a no brainer. We can
- 1:40:41Speaker 3: do that. It's cool, broh. So I want you all
- 1:40:44Speaker 3: to take that information and don't just take it, You'll
- 1:40:47Speaker 3: apply it. Use it when him five hundred come teach
- 1:40:50Speaker 3: you'll about credit. Use it. When Derrick Gracie teach y'all
- 1:40:54Speaker 3: about you know, gold and whatever. Use it. When I
- 1:40:57Speaker 3: come teach you all about stocks, use it. When where
- 1:40:59Speaker 3: Sha has a fightinancial planning class, use that. You know why,
- 1:41:04Speaker 3: who knows how to financial plan? I shows the hell don't?
- 1:41:08Speaker 3: I had to ask him, bro I need you to
- 1:41:09Speaker 3: show me how to. I don't even I know. I
- 1:41:11Speaker 3: don't know that part right when Troy breaking out an assessment,
- 1:41:15Speaker 3: I need that Troy, you're a teacher, like the knowledge
- 1:41:19Speaker 3: is here for us to use. Use it.
- 1:41:24Speaker 4: That is, I'm not sure. I just wanted to do also,
- 1:41:29Speaker 4: I wanted.
- 1:41:29Speaker 3: I wanted.
- 1:41:29Speaker 2: One thing I haven't spoke about is that we actually
- 1:41:32Speaker 2: have a collaboration that we did with Trapp. It's the
- 1:41:34Speaker 2: only collaboration that we've ever done in early Legion history. Yeah,
- 1:41:37Speaker 2: the family pack and.
- 1:41:38Speaker 4: It's a produced start that's a five star.
- 1:41:44Speaker 3: That's the most dangerous body of work, y'all.
- 1:41:46Speaker 2: That is a fact. We collaborated Wall Street, Trapper, Legion
- 1:41:49Speaker 2: collaborated this. We did this last year and it's been
- 1:41:53Speaker 2: rave reviews for anybody that has it. Where we actually
- 1:41:56Speaker 2: I did fifty percent trapped there, fifty percent I walked.
- 1:42:00Speaker 2: It's like a literally walkthrough of like how to look
- 1:42:02Speaker 2: at a life insurance illustration, how to properly set up
- 1:42:04Speaker 2: a life insurance policy, how to actually over funded life
- 1:42:08Speaker 2: insurance policy, college savings, custodio accounts. Trapp talked about goal,
- 1:42:13Speaker 2: he talked about we talked about ETF like actually had
- 1:42:16Speaker 2: like the websites that we use personally, like Interactive. It's
- 1:42:19Speaker 2: like a screen share situation all top performing stocks, precious metals.
- 1:42:27Speaker 2: It's so much stuff like it's that's now, it's a college.
- 1:42:30Speaker 2: It's a college class. I forgot to mention that. But
- 1:42:34Speaker 2: we also collaborated on that. So if you're interested in that,
- 1:42:36Speaker 2: I'm gonna put the link for that. I'm gonna pin
- 1:42:39Speaker 2: that in YouTube, and we have fun and we have
- 1:42:42Speaker 2: fun doing it. Tell him so, first of all, shot
- 1:42:46Speaker 2: him started me. I had to go in that basement.
- 1:42:48Speaker 2: Troy house to seventy two albums couldn't eat. So I
- 1:42:50Speaker 2: just want to make that be known.
- 1:42:53Speaker 3: Right the last day we feted, maybe the last day.
- 1:42:58Speaker 3: Maybe the last day said maybe three days, couldn't leave, right,
- 1:43:06Speaker 3: pick up Troy kids, everything. But we did do another
- 1:43:10Speaker 3: thing too as we broke down, I actually show you
- 1:43:12Speaker 3: all how JP Morgan and the Rockefellers set up their
- 1:43:16Speaker 3: family trust.
- 1:43:17Speaker 4: Their family trust. We talked about a powerful one too.
- 1:43:20Speaker 3: And we walked through that whole thing. I talked about
- 1:43:25Speaker 3: a couple of trusts with Shah talks about some trust
- 1:43:28Speaker 3: like yo, like that's a dangerous body of work that
- 1:43:31Speaker 3: we put together. Troy has some assessments on that's crazy.
- 1:43:36Speaker 3: I think it's literally forty two misubles, y'all, forty.
- 1:43:40Speaker 4: Two minds busy. Now we got busy.
- 1:43:42Speaker 3: We got busy. I felt like it was an album move.
- 1:43:46Speaker 4: We were growing them up with.
- 1:43:47Speaker 8: I mean, I just recalled like we were just drawing
- 1:43:49Speaker 8: up the tracks, like how we're going to place the tracks?
- 1:43:52Speaker 8: Said again, I'm watching the book. But it was crazy.
- 1:43:55Speaker 8: I felt like I felt like Swiss a little bit.
- 1:43:58Speaker 2: It's a classic album pended if you're interested in checking
- 1:44:01Speaker 2: it out. Is trapping with eyl dot com. That is
- 1:44:05Speaker 2: an extremely extremely impressive body of work and it was
- 1:44:09Speaker 2: dope to work with you on that. So so let's
- 1:44:14Speaker 2: let's get one more question if we can.
- 1:44:15Speaker 3: Let's go to Graylynd Grayland, were coming to you. I
- 1:44:17Speaker 3: mute yourself. You've been immuted. What's going on?
- 1:44:20Speaker 4: Yo? I'm so glad you guys are immune to me.
- 1:44:22Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:44:23Speaker 14: I first off want to say, uh ey l, thank
- 1:44:27Speaker 14: you so much.
- 1:44:28Speaker 10: Man.
- 1:44:29Speaker 14: You know, just just seeing you guys, I'm twenty four
- 1:44:32Speaker 14: right now, well actually just turned twenty five, and seeing
- 1:44:35Speaker 14: you know what you guys do for the community command
- 1:44:39Speaker 14: you one hundred percent, so I wanted to go back
- 1:44:43Speaker 14: to something that and also Wall Street Chopper, I appreciate
- 1:44:46Speaker 14: you too as well, because I'm just starting to learn
- 1:44:49Speaker 14: about stocks. I'm in real estate right now in Charlotte
- 1:44:53Speaker 14: and also getting into crypto and kind of redoing my
- 1:44:56Speaker 14: finances right now.
- 1:44:57Speaker 3: I got rid of my car note and bought a
- 1:45:00Speaker 3: car outright to get.
- 1:45:01Speaker 14: Some more money back into my you know, my savings
- 1:45:04Speaker 14: with what I save every month, So I'm kind of diversifying.
- 1:45:07Speaker 14: So I'm starting to, like I said, invest in crypto
- 1:45:10Speaker 14: real estate and then from a stock aspect, you know,
- 1:45:15Speaker 14: starting out, what do you think you know a percentage
- 1:45:19Speaker 14: should be for you know myself, you know, just starting
- 1:45:21Speaker 14: out from investing, because I know Rashad you say out
- 1:45:24Speaker 14: the time, Uh, you know your portfolio is about ten
- 1:45:27Speaker 14: percent of crypto. So I was just trying to see,
- 1:45:30Speaker 14: you know, from a stock aspect, what do you think
- 1:45:32Speaker 14: you know, Wall Street trapper, you know what that should be?
- 1:45:38Speaker 3: So how much of your portfolio should be in crypto?
- 1:45:41Speaker 3: I was sorry with texting my mind, Oh no in stock.
- 1:45:45Speaker 14: So right now I'm doing about ten percent in crypto
- 1:45:48Speaker 14: and then you know I'm saving uh you know a
- 1:45:51Speaker 14: good amount too. And then I just brought a whole
- 1:45:53Speaker 14: life insurance policy too. So so it it depends on
- 1:45:58Speaker 14: to invest themselves. I'm not a financial advisor. Everything that
- 1:46:03Speaker 14: I say it for entertainment, education, purpose.
- 1:46:05Speaker 3: On right, understand Chris, that's involved, right, I know the
- 1:46:12Speaker 3: financial advisor shat he can take the glory. I can
- 1:46:16Speaker 3: only take you to the trap house. You feel all right?
- 1:46:19Speaker 3: So what I do think is one thing you have
- 1:46:21Speaker 3: to do is identify your goals, right, that's important. Identify
- 1:46:26Speaker 3: what are your goals? What do you want? Each asset
- 1:46:29Speaker 3: class to do for you. That's important because every asset
- 1:46:33Speaker 3: class performs different depending on the economy, depending on the
- 1:46:37Speaker 3: market cycles. Everything performed different. So the one thing you
- 1:46:40Speaker 3: got to do is say what are my goals? Like?
- 1:46:42Speaker 3: What am I trying to do? There is no cookie
- 1:46:44Speaker 3: cutter approach my portfolio for Shan's portfolio, Troy's portfolio. You
- 1:46:49Speaker 3: heard it. We're all different, right. Shot is more defensive,
- 1:46:53Speaker 3: Troy is more aggressive. So in every investment they make,
- 1:46:57Speaker 3: they're going to take different approaches. So I think one
- 1:47:00Speaker 3: of the things you have to figure out is which
- 1:47:03Speaker 3: as the class you want to work most for you.
- 1:47:05Speaker 3: The reason why I would tell you stocks is because
- 1:47:07Speaker 3: I'm the stock guy. That's what I love to do.
- 1:47:09Speaker 3: And when I looked at the most wealthiest people in
- 1:47:11Speaker 3: the world, I saw that sixty percent of them, I mean,
- 1:47:15Speaker 3: I'm sorry that much, eighty percent of them had sixty
- 1:47:17Speaker 3: percent of their wealth in stocks. So for me, I
- 1:47:21Speaker 3: just followed the blueprint that I already saw. When I
- 1:47:23Speaker 3: saw that majority of the oroath to people had their
- 1:47:25Speaker 3: money in stocks, I went stocks. And when I realized
- 1:47:28Speaker 3: the dude who told me that wealthy people the first
- 1:47:30Speaker 3: thing they do is do stocks, they own the business.
- 1:47:32Speaker 3: Then they get into real estate. I started stocks, I
- 1:47:35Speaker 3: got into stocks, I started my business. Now I'm on
- 1:47:39Speaker 3: pace of trying to get one hundred dollars with my brothers.
- 1:47:42Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. So to goal for me
- 1:47:44Speaker 3: was stocks first. So my portfolio right now is ninety
- 1:47:48Speaker 3: percent stocks, ten percent cryptoild. Until I get real estate,
- 1:47:53Speaker 3: my portfolio will shift. But for me, I want stocks
- 1:47:57Speaker 3: to do the heavy lifting. You know, So what do
- 1:48:00Speaker 3: you want to do the heavy lifting? You know what
- 1:48:03Speaker 3: I'm saying. And so for me, when I looked at turns,
- 1:48:07Speaker 3: and again, I am not against real estate. Let me
- 1:48:09Speaker 3: say that first and foremost, when it came to returns,
- 1:48:12Speaker 3: stocks were better. When it came to being able to
- 1:48:15Speaker 3: leverage more, and real estate became better, leveraging more and
- 1:48:20Speaker 3: tax benefits, real estate was better. So for me, I
- 1:48:25Speaker 3: wanted stocks to do the heavy lifting right now, and
- 1:48:27Speaker 3: then I'll personally use real estate as a leverage tool
- 1:48:32Speaker 3: and as a tax tool. So I understood how I
- 1:48:35Speaker 3: want my portfolio to work for me. So that's the
- 1:48:37Speaker 3: way I work it. So and I hope that health.
- 1:48:40Speaker 14: Yeah, and so when you say you do the heavy lifting,
- 1:48:42Speaker 14: so right now, I'm looking at stockings more so like
- 1:48:45Speaker 14: in just another vehicle.
- 1:48:47Speaker 3: Or a long term hold essentially.
- 1:48:51Speaker 14: And so that's what you mean by you saying that
- 1:48:53Speaker 14: heavy lifting, Like that's doing most of your heavy lifting
- 1:48:56Speaker 14: from a long term hold aspect.
- 1:49:00Speaker 3: No, so what I want to do lift, So it's everything.
- 1:49:03Speaker 3: So when I say heavy lifting, I mean whether I'm
- 1:49:05Speaker 3: doing options, whether I'm doing mid or long term investing.
- 1:49:09Speaker 3: Stocks is my vehicle of choice. Okay, you know what
- 1:49:13Speaker 3: I'm saying. So when I say heavy lifting, So if
- 1:49:15Speaker 3: I'm doing long term investing, it stocks. When I'm doing
- 1:49:18Speaker 3: options mid to you know, six months to a year,
- 1:49:22Speaker 3: it stocks. When I'm you know, passive income later on
- 1:49:27Speaker 3: for dividends, Like my goal is to generate a million
- 1:49:31Speaker 3: dollars a year by time I'm fifty from dividends, right, Like,
- 1:49:35Speaker 3: so I set up a whole dividend portfolio that much
- 1:49:37Speaker 3: just be pumping money into forever. Right. And so when
- 1:49:42Speaker 3: I say that I want the heavy lifting stocks is
- 1:49:44Speaker 3: doing my heavy lifting. Also because I don't understand real
- 1:49:48Speaker 3: estate as much just yet you feel what I'm saying, Like,
- 1:49:52Speaker 3: that's why I got a mat, That's why I learned
- 1:49:54Speaker 3: from real estate people. But even stocks is my goal
- 1:49:57Speaker 3: to So that's going to do majority of the heavy
- 1:50:00Speaker 3: lifting for me. Real estate will be next, and then
- 1:50:02Speaker 3: crypto is a part of it as well. But so
- 1:50:04Speaker 3: that's how my that's how my portfolio is going to
- 1:50:07Speaker 3: be set up. Stocks is going to do majority of
- 1:50:10Speaker 3: the word for me. No matter what level I'm on again,
- 1:50:13Speaker 3: whether it's options, whether it's buying hole, whether it's dividends,
- 1:50:18Speaker 3: Stock's gonna do the heavy heavy lifting because the returns
- 1:50:20Speaker 3: for me were better, Like I can get those returns
- 1:50:23Speaker 3: in crypto and the stocks and then options for me
- 1:50:26Speaker 3: better than that real estate. But with real estate, I'm
- 1:50:29Speaker 3: gonna be able to take equity out of this home,
- 1:50:31Speaker 3: go get another piece of property, the defer that tax.
- 1:50:34Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. So now, how to use
- 1:50:37Speaker 3: your portfolio or how you again, what do you want
- 1:50:40Speaker 3: the heavy lifting to do? And what are your goals?
- 1:50:42Speaker 3: That's how you build your portfolio the wealth. Okay, yeah,
- 1:50:46Speaker 3: and that definitely makes it. That was a class Just yeah,
- 1:50:51Speaker 3: appreciate appreciate it.
- 1:50:54Speaker 4: Okay, No, we haven't said downlines in a while.
- 1:50:58Speaker 3: No, well we're not going to do that to your
- 1:50:59Speaker 3: grand but appreciate you bro.
- 1:51:01Speaker 2: For sure, appreciate you, but yeah, ten ten percent is
- 1:51:05Speaker 2: actually what I have in crypto too in my portfolio.
- 1:51:07Speaker 2: But trap on, thank you, mayn I really appreciate it.
- 1:51:11Speaker 2: Before we leave, just to let people know. So what
- 1:51:13Speaker 2: we're gonna do with the scholarships, because I was thinking
- 1:51:15Speaker 2: about it, and you know, we've done scholarships before, but
- 1:51:18Speaker 2: I met three people this weekend that were college students.
- 1:51:21Speaker 2: That was an Eyo university, and we got to look
- 1:51:24Speaker 2: out for everybody, but I feel like, you know, we
- 1:51:28Speaker 2: got to make sure that we look out for young people.
- 1:51:30Speaker 2: So what I want to do is I want to
- 1:51:31Speaker 2: give ten ten scholarships away to anybody, to.
- 1:51:35Speaker 4: People at HBCUs. But we're gonna do this organized.
- 1:51:37Speaker 2: It's not just going to be your email, So don't
- 1:51:40Speaker 2: even waste your time because.
- 1:51:43Speaker 4: The chat, that's what we're not going to do.
- 1:51:45Speaker 2: What we are going to do is we're gonna connect
- 1:51:47Speaker 2: with somebody at an HBCU. So if you work at
- 1:51:52Speaker 2: an HBCU, email email, infod earned a leisure, if you
- 1:51:56Speaker 2: like work, if you're like a professor or an administrator,
- 1:51:58Speaker 2: if you can actually get us in touch. If not,
- 1:52:01Speaker 2: we can do the lake work ourselves. But you know
- 1:52:03Speaker 2: what we can do if they are in the ages
- 1:52:06Speaker 2: bc U.
- 1:52:07Speaker 8: Uh, they have the email from their school and so
- 1:52:10Speaker 8: that email will be there.
- 1:52:12Speaker 4: No, no, no, at the school.
- 1:52:13Speaker 2: Now we'll just we'll just do it with one so
- 1:52:15Speaker 2: it's easier, like Howard University, like you know what I'm saying, Like,
- 1:52:18Speaker 2: we'll just pig ten students and how you know school. Yeah,
- 1:52:20Speaker 2: it should it shouldn't be that hard because colleges hit
- 1:52:23Speaker 2: us up all the time to speak and stuff like that.
- 1:52:25Speaker 2: So we can just you pick one school and we
- 1:52:28Speaker 2: can pick ten students at that school and we'll give
- 1:52:32Speaker 2: we'll give them scholarships. Ten scholarships to college students at
- 1:52:37Speaker 2: each BCU school and we'll do it like that for
- 1:52:42Speaker 2: the So once again, thank you for that, and that
- 1:52:44Speaker 2: is courtesy of mister Trap. Actually will match it. We'll
- 1:52:47Speaker 2: match it. Trap Trap will do ten, We'll do ten,
- 1:52:50Speaker 2: So we'll do twenty. We'll do twenty scholarships for HBC
- 1:52:55Speaker 2: school students. But like I said, it's going to be organized,
- 1:52:58Speaker 2: it's not going to be I to Howard, how old
- 1:53:01Speaker 2: are you? Forty seven? No disrespect anybody that goes to hell,
- 1:53:06Speaker 2: it's forty seven. Now we're not playing that game. But
- 1:53:09Speaker 2: once again, thank you for your time.
- 1:53:10Speaker 4: Brother.
- 1:53:11Speaker 2: If anybody watched this, if you are interested in joining
- 1:53:13Speaker 2: ewy and University once again, we do this every single week.
- 1:53:16Speaker 2: We have over one hundred archived classes like this where
- 1:53:20Speaker 2: you get to interact with the professor and we cover
- 1:53:23Speaker 2: everything from real estate to credit, to legal issues to
- 1:53:31Speaker 2: anything you need to think of we cover. But the
- 1:53:34Speaker 2: difference between the podcast, YouTube and EYL University is that
- 1:53:37Speaker 2: it's a community. Once again. We have infinity groups where
- 1:53:41Speaker 2: people learn from each other. We have a crypto club,
- 1:53:44Speaker 2: we have a real estate club, we have a stock club.
- 1:53:47Speaker 2: Home Buyers Blueprint is included MG the mortgage guys. Home
- 1:53:51Speaker 2: Buyers Blueprint our Facebook group private six thousand members. We
- 1:53:56Speaker 2: have private events. We just had our first private event
- 1:54:00Speaker 2: yesterday in La. Over one hundred and fifty earnings came out.
- 1:54:04Speaker 2: We had my boy nineteen Keys was dead, Mike rashid
- 1:54:07Speaker 2: Alis good energy him, five hundred, Miss Business, Shiggy a
- 1:54:10Speaker 2: Tear Blair Us and you got to network Atlanta. Of
- 1:54:15Speaker 2: course we're gonna do something bigger in Atlanta. And you
- 1:54:17Speaker 2: know all of our friends living Atlanta, so you already
- 1:54:19Speaker 2: know what kind of vibe that's gonna be.
- 1:54:21Speaker 4: That's just off the brip, bro, that's off the rip.
- 1:54:27Speaker 2: You know all of our friends living in Atlanta, including
- 1:54:29Speaker 2: mister Trapp, So you did hello, you already know how
- 1:54:33Speaker 2: that goes, man, and you know on and on and
- 1:54:35Speaker 2: on ey l University. If you are interested, is sixty
- 1:54:39Speaker 2: five percent off right now? That will go to fifty
- 1:54:42Speaker 2: percent off in two days. So yes, yeah, Tom is
- 1:54:46Speaker 2: limited on that. And then trapping with El, Trapping with
- 1:54:49Speaker 2: EYL is separate from that. That is Wall Street Trappers course,
- 1:54:52Speaker 2: who we collaborated on with fifty to fifty on that
- 1:54:55Speaker 2: as far as on the production side, but that's our
- 1:54:58Speaker 2: only collaborative. That's the only not to say that we
- 1:55:01Speaker 2: won't work with other people, but if we did work
- 1:55:03Speaker 2: with somebody, it just made sense to work with Trap.
- 1:55:06Speaker 2: Our history is like you know, it's like Kobe and
- 1:55:10Speaker 2: it's like Kobe and shack Man, like you know, anytime
- 1:55:12Speaker 2: we get together, it's always it's always a massive it's
- 1:55:15Speaker 2: always a magical moment. So it just made perfect sense
- 1:55:18Speaker 2: for us to do that. If you're interested in that,
- 1:55:20Speaker 2: that is pinned on YouTube. Trapping with Eyo dot com.
- 1:55:26Speaker 2: So yeah, man, I hope you guys apply this information
- 1:55:31Speaker 2: most importantly. That is the most important thing. And once
- 1:55:34Speaker 2: again this was done to just bring it back to
- 1:55:36Speaker 2: the basics. And you know a lot of times we
- 1:55:39Speaker 2: might you know, talk at a fast pace. So sometimes
- 1:55:43Speaker 2: it's just good to have a refresher course. Even if
- 1:55:45Speaker 2: you are investing, sometimes you need to just revisit the basics.
- 1:55:50Speaker 2: And one thing about Wall Street, he does a great
- 1:55:53Speaker 2: job at making things that's complicated extremely easy to understand.
- 1:55:58Speaker 2: Somebody ran up on me yesterday from Sure and it
- 1:56:01Speaker 2: was like they was talking. They was like going on
- 1:56:03Speaker 2: and on and on about everything, and they was like
- 1:56:06Speaker 2: compound interest. There was like the eighth wonder of the world.
- 1:56:10Speaker 2: The man who the man who doesn't. The man who
- 1:56:13Speaker 2: understands it will benefit the man that doesn't understand it
- 1:56:16Speaker 2: will pay forever.
- 1:56:17Speaker 4: Big trap. So you know what I'm saying.
- 1:56:23Speaker 2: So they tapped they tapped in with trap man all
- 1:56:26Speaker 2: over the country.
- 1:56:26Speaker 4: Man. Yeah, yeah, yeah, man, But like to tell what
- 1:56:31Speaker 4: would you like to tell people?
- 1:56:34Speaker 3: Man? I just want to you know, I always go
- 1:56:36Speaker 3: on these rants, but I ain't going to random man.
- 1:56:38Speaker 3: I just want to say, like this, this, y'all could
- 1:56:40Speaker 3: have been anywhere in the world. But y'all chose to
- 1:56:42Speaker 3: be here with us, Yes, sir, the best place you
- 1:56:45Speaker 3: can be man between E Y L. Wall Street, Trapper,
- 1:56:49Speaker 3: the other people that's putting our great information. That's what
- 1:56:51Speaker 3: you need to be at your life. Financial literacyre is
- 1:56:54Speaker 3: gonna say you don't get there all at once because
- 1:56:58Speaker 3: we ain't get We didn't get into the positions we
- 1:57:00Speaker 3: work in overnight. Be patient, be dedicated, keep learning right,
- 1:57:07Speaker 3: that's what's going to take us out of here. Yo.
- 1:57:09Speaker 3: Like turn your last name to an asset. That's a
- 1:57:12Speaker 3: real statement that I live by. And what that simply
- 1:57:15Speaker 3: means is how many rich and wealthy families You don't
- 1:57:19Speaker 3: know how they got their money, but you just know
- 1:57:21Speaker 3: they wealthy. Their name is associated with money that didn't
- 1:57:25Speaker 3: happen for one person. That happened from one person getting
- 1:57:30Speaker 3: the knowledge that happened for one person getting the game
- 1:57:34Speaker 3: that happened from one person saying, Yo, I ain't my
- 1:57:36Speaker 3: family ain't about to be poor no more. And then
- 1:57:39Speaker 3: once they got it, they implemented and they wrote it down.
- 1:57:41Speaker 3: One of the things I call them is family SOPs
- 1:57:44Speaker 3: that we now have to do everything that we do
- 1:57:47Speaker 3: when it comes to investing, we have to write that
- 1:57:49Speaker 3: down because we can't just keep it here because it's
- 1:57:52Speaker 3: something happened to us today. Tomorrow we die with the information.
- 1:57:57Speaker 3: We write it down, We make a blueprint of it.
- 1:58:00Speaker 3: How much you know right quick? I probably have about
- 1:58:05Speaker 3: sixty overs, y'all. I never stopped reading. I never stopped writing.
- 1:58:10Speaker 3: Everything I do, I write it down, y'all. Like, write
- 1:58:13Speaker 3: it down. Put it down so your family can read it.
- 1:58:16Speaker 3: So your adult my daughter can read it. Give them
- 1:58:18Speaker 3: the knowledge. Write it down, y'all, family SOPs. Get the
- 1:58:22Speaker 3: knowledge so you can you can get it. Give it
- 1:58:25Speaker 3: to your kids, your kids, and give it to your kids.
- 1:58:27Speaker 3: Give it to your cousins, give it to your aties.
- 1:58:30Speaker 3: I don't care if they don't want it right now,
- 1:58:32Speaker 3: you keep doing it. Don't get discouraged because they don't
- 1:58:35Speaker 3: want it. One thing we do as a people is
- 1:58:37Speaker 3: we learn, and once we see somebody doing it, okay, cool,
- 1:58:41Speaker 3: let me train it. Don't don't. Don't punish them for
- 1:58:44Speaker 3: not being on it when you first got on it.
- 1:58:46Speaker 3: And you ain't learn when I first got it. I
- 1:58:48Speaker 3: don't want to do it. Nah, You learning your time.
- 1:58:51Speaker 3: Let them learning their time. But keep learning, keep applying
