- 0:00Speaker 1: Do you like my new camera angle? It's great. Camera
- 0:03Speaker 1: angle is still the same. Why are you not using
- 0:05Speaker 1: the fancy camera that they gave us because I use
- 0:08Speaker 1: that for animation though. Yeah, nice, you took the fucking
- 0:13Speaker 1: iHeart sony camera and don't use it for the What
- 0:16Speaker 1: if we want to one day put these on YouTube
- 0:19Speaker 1: and you're gonna look like that and not high deaf?
- 0:23Speaker 1: That's fine with me. You don't give two f's. This
- 0:27Speaker 1: camera's high deaf is just no, No, that camera sucks.
- 0:30Speaker 1: It's just not four K bro, that's all. You look
- 0:33Speaker 1: pixelated compared to me. Look okay, but I guess you know,
- 0:39Speaker 1: I guess it's okay. Let's talk about Disneyland. We went
- 0:42Speaker 1: to Disneyland. Oh so serious? Fuck? Did oh my god?
- 0:46Speaker 1: Did you have fun? Joelle and Donald made lightsabers? I
- 0:50Speaker 1: did make a lightsaber. I got missy eyed in there.
- 0:53Speaker 1: I cried a little bit. It was crying there for real. Yes, listen,
- 0:57Speaker 1: didn't he have to give those performers a raise because
- 0:59Speaker 1: they really sell the experience, Like there are moments like
- 1:02Speaker 1: when you take out your credit card, you're like, okay,
- 1:04Speaker 1: I'm not in the Star Wars universe. It's broken but
- 1:06Speaker 1: then they take you through like a dark tone on
- 1:09Speaker 1: a secret room and the lights change in their sound effects.
- 1:12Speaker 1: And I don't want to spoil it if you're gonna
- 1:14Speaker 1: go to Disney, but magic really happens in that room,
- 1:18Speaker 1: and then you leave with a Joe Pass lightsaber. It's
- 1:22Speaker 1: I already booked tickets to go back to Well, you
- 1:25Speaker 1: should have seen Joelle and Daniel because Donald has been
- 1:29Speaker 1: there a zillion times. Take in the Star Wars world
- 1:32Speaker 1: these guys. It was amazing. I felt like I felt
- 1:35Speaker 1: like a proud parent watching my kids digest Disney for
- 1:39Speaker 1: the first time. It was amazing, magical. Seriously, I don't,
- 1:45Speaker 1: I do want to say that I was disappointed in
- 1:50Speaker 1: the Spider Man ride. Oh really, you guys weren't there
- 1:53Speaker 1: when we did the Spider Man Ride. No, but Donald
- 1:56Speaker 1: your thought. I know you're probably not gonna say anything
- 1:58Speaker 1: negative about about the mar universe, but I didn't think
- 2:01Speaker 1: the ride lived up to any hype. It was fun. Um,
- 2:08Speaker 1: it was the exact same. It's like they bought the
- 2:11Speaker 1: toy Story ride and just read and rebranded it with
- 2:15Speaker 1: different stuff. The best, the best ride in the changing
- 2:20Speaker 1: the subject. He changed the subject still and always will
- 2:24Speaker 1: be the Guardians of the Galaxy ride. Oh okay, so
- 2:29Speaker 1: the stra not Rise of the Resistance. Not Rise of
- 2:31Speaker 1: the Resistance. I mean, yeah, that's a great ride too,
- 2:34Speaker 1: It's it's but the best ride in the park still
- 2:37Speaker 1: is Guardians of the Gallet. You just see most geeked
- 2:40Speaker 1: when you drive the Millennium Falcon. That's when you came
- 2:43Speaker 1: out like, well, I was just trying to see how
- 2:45Speaker 1: many coaxium you guys gotten. You guys only got one.
- 2:48Speaker 1: I got two. You know, we don't know all the secret.
- 2:51Speaker 1: We were not the first people to drive the mill
- 2:54Speaker 1: There there's no sequel. Yeah, you know, I all you
- 2:57Speaker 1: owned your skills. I was one of I was, if
- 3:00Speaker 1: not the first, the second person to fly the Millennium
- 3:03Speaker 1: Falcon at Disneyland, California. I'm not necessarily supposed to tell
- 3:08Speaker 1: anybody that, but I did anyway, and now the whole
- 3:10Speaker 1: world knows. The whole world knows. Donald. You know, I
- 3:13Speaker 1: think I got in trouble for that too, because I
- 3:15Speaker 1: told everybody at celebration. They told me, and uh and
- 3:19Speaker 1: and Bobby moynihan, who also flew the Millennium Falcon that
- 3:23Speaker 1: day at celebration in Chicago, don't tell everybody that you
- 3:27Speaker 1: flew the Millennium Falcon And I was like, okay, I
- 3:32Speaker 1: walked out on stage at the Star Wars show and
- 3:34Speaker 1: I was like, I was the first person to fly
- 3:35Speaker 1: to Millennium fucking um. One other things were really fun.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Idea was how was Rising the Resistance. We didn't write, Oh,
- 3:47Speaker 1: we didn't get to do it because it broke down.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Apparently it's so complicated that it breaks down a bunch.
- 3:51Speaker 1: I was too, you serious, Yeah, and um, I'm sure
- 3:54Speaker 1: that fine, but it's very hard to get to get
- 3:57Speaker 1: to get on it. And then and then when we
- 4:00Speaker 1: all we had a slot, it broke down. Wow, okay,
- 4:02Speaker 1: well low key, I'm thankful that we we Then we
- 4:06Speaker 1: loved when we did because I was thinking, I was,
- 4:08Speaker 1: you know, I wasn't going to pressure Joe Well into this.
- 4:10Speaker 1: But as the time kind of ticked longer and longer,
- 4:12Speaker 1: I was like, Okay, we want to leave around four,
- 4:14Speaker 1: but we'll do Rise the Assistance at four, then we'll go.
- 4:16Speaker 1: And when they said it's going to be closer to
- 4:17Speaker 1: five to five thirty, I was thinking, maybe we can
- 4:20Speaker 1: stay another hour, but that's a long time. We're gonna
- 4:22Speaker 1: hit crazy traffic on the way, but seven or eight
- 4:25Speaker 1: it was it was so hot. It was the hottest
- 4:27Speaker 1: time I've ever been. The guys, we would have been fine,
- 4:30Speaker 1: it would have been all good, but we made one
- 4:33Speaker 1: critical era. What's that we drank the margharitas. After the margharita,
- 4:40Speaker 1: everybody got tired. After the margharitas, everybody was like, I'm
- 4:43Speaker 1: ready to go. Second, the second he got to California Adventure. Listen,
- 4:48Speaker 1: I've barely been drinking. But the second we got to
- 4:50Speaker 1: calif Alifornia Venture in one hundred degree heat, I saw
- 4:53Speaker 1: the margharita stand and I was like, we need frozen
- 4:56Speaker 1: margaritas now. And then we had like frozen margharita's. And
- 4:59Speaker 1: then all of the sudden, Verm was like, Oh, I
- 5:03Speaker 1: want to go home. I want to go home and
- 5:05Speaker 1: be My kid was so pissed off. My kid was like,
- 5:07Speaker 1: wait a second, we got two more hours, Dad, I
- 5:11Speaker 1: want to go to the Rocky moment, he was about
- 5:14Speaker 1: to get on um what's he was on Space Mountain
- 5:18Speaker 1: and he felt we had just eaten. So he was
- 5:20Speaker 1: like his stomach was rumbling and he's like, I can't
- 5:22Speaker 1: do it. I can't do it. Then they all went
- 5:24Speaker 1: on Space Mountain. They came off Rocco literally have a movie.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Let's out a huge burp, and he's like, okay, I'm
- 5:30Speaker 1: ready to go on Space Mountain. Love it? Did that?
- 5:36Speaker 1: Did Henry ride the in credit coaster? Um? Yes, yes,
- 5:41Speaker 1: Henry had never been on an upside down roller coaster
- 5:44Speaker 1: and uh and he finally conquered his fears and did
- 5:48Speaker 1: it next to Uncle Donald. You know, the first time
- 5:50Speaker 1: we he ever went to disney Land was with me
- 5:55Speaker 1: and he was seven years old, and I tried. I
- 6:00Speaker 1: had to convince him to get on the roller coaster,
- 6:03Speaker 1: which was then the California Scream, and he said he
- 6:05Speaker 1: didn't want to do it. Right flash cut two. Now
- 6:10Speaker 1: I have a seven year old and my seven year
- 6:14Speaker 1: old is it was like, I'm getting on this ride
- 6:18Speaker 1: so to make up for missing it when we were
- 6:23Speaker 1: when you know, all these years ago, fourteen years ago
- 6:27Speaker 1: he got. I got to ride with Henry this time.
- 6:30Speaker 1: That was sweet. By the way, the funniest part of
- 6:32Speaker 1: the day was I mean, there were so many farthing
- 6:33Speaker 1: parts to day. I laughed my ass off. But we
- 6:35Speaker 1: bring Wilder Donald's little girl. How old has she done him?
- 6:38Speaker 1: She's six, she's six into the Haunted mansion, and she's
- 6:43Speaker 1: like not feeling it. And then all of a sudden,
- 6:46Speaker 1: we're in that first elevator part and there's a giant
- 6:49Speaker 1: like witch scream and Casey goes, oh, Joel trying to
- 6:55Speaker 1: convince Wilder than it was. Joell, being silly, I thought, Okay,
- 7:01Speaker 1: so I really did scream in there? What she was
- 7:04Speaker 1: actually like, Joel is screaming? Screaming? Did you do a
- 7:11Speaker 1: big witch cackle? I did? Oh it was you. I
- 7:15Speaker 1: totally miss Reddy. I thought that was part of the ride,
- 7:18Speaker 1: and then I thought it was part of the ride
- 7:21Speaker 1: and that Casey was trying to soothe a wilder I
- 7:23Speaker 1: being like silly, Joel, Joel actually did it, actually did
- 7:28Speaker 1: the scream? Wait, we have to talk about Black Widow
- 7:32Speaker 1: because I don't know if you saw that. Some early
- 7:35Speaker 1: like screamings must have happened. Because Florence pu was trending
- 7:38Speaker 1: on Twitter today. Oh really, and someone said get ready
- 7:42Speaker 1: for the Marvel Puniverse. Wow, mcpu, Yeah, I mean, I
- 7:50Speaker 1: guess check out Indie wired Daniel and they had this
- 7:52Speaker 1: whole article about how Florence Pugh steals the movie. So
- 7:55Speaker 1: proud of our girls. Surprise at all. That's why I
- 7:58Speaker 1: did hired her. Yeah, she's amazing. And by the way,
- 8:02Speaker 1: so Carrie Brothers our friend, Uh got tickets because he's
- 8:06Speaker 1: like that for July ninth when it comes out, and uh,
- 8:10Speaker 1: he says to me, I got two. Florence is gonna
- 8:12Speaker 1: be out of town because she's shooting a film. And
- 8:15Speaker 1: he goes to Donald. He's like, you want to be
- 8:17Speaker 1: the fourth And I'm thinking, like, Donald's not gonna be
- 8:19Speaker 1: able to go without Casey and like the kids. He's like, hell, yeah,
- 8:21Speaker 1: I want to be the four. I'm gonna and me
- 8:25Speaker 1: and Donald and Carrie and his wife have a have
- 8:27Speaker 1: a date for July ninth for black women that can't wait.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Very early screening now, so fingers crossed everybody. Um, it's
- 8:36Speaker 1: season five, y'all. Let's let's get into it. Six seven
- 8:40Speaker 1: eight about show we made about a bunch of nurses
- 8:48Speaker 1: story So yea around here, yeah, around here? What musical
- 9:04Speaker 1: is this from? I'm gonna change the lyrics, but keep
- 9:06Speaker 1: the tune. Here we go. I got it already. Wait
- 9:09Speaker 1: dun dundd no, that wasn't it. By the way, we
- 9:21Speaker 1: walk into the Avengers part of the part of the
- 9:23Speaker 1: world and they're cranking like different scores from different movies,
- 9:27Speaker 1: and Henry goes, okay, that's aunt man. And now I
- 9:30Speaker 1: think they just went into Avengers end game like he
- 9:32Speaker 1: knows my nephew knows the different score moments love it, Yes,
- 9:39Speaker 1: he was, Um yeah, and my whole family they're so delightful.
- 9:43Speaker 1: I love them. Um okay ready season five, season five?
- 9:51Speaker 1: Who are you one? Have you? Season five? That's Jesus
- 9:56Speaker 1: Christ Superstar? Thank you, Joel Daneld Donald, you didn't get
- 9:59Speaker 1: that no tongue. No, I'm disappointed in you. Did you
- 10:05Speaker 1: get did you do? You know what mine is? Yeah?
- 10:07Speaker 1: Something about this one? How about this one? It's now
- 10:10Speaker 1: season five of that show we call hole Scrubs. It's
- 10:16Speaker 1: now season five of that show we call whole Scrubs.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Its season five, season five, it's he's in five. Okay,
- 10:29Speaker 1: who were you doing that for? It? Was it Jess Weiss,
- 10:31Speaker 1: the art composer friend. You were like you were Kerry's wife,
- 10:35Speaker 1: Jess as a composer, and Donald was showing off to
- 10:38Speaker 1: her that he had the entire No, they asked me
- 10:41Speaker 1: to do it, and I did the whole No, but
- 10:43Speaker 1: I thought like you'd do like like the cookie part,
- 10:46Speaker 1: but I was only went through like yeah, yeah, he
- 10:48Speaker 1: was doing like the like the Denumont like cello parts,
- 10:51Speaker 1: like dude Wood. I did not spend. I got back
- 11:05Speaker 1: on the horse man I have. The whole time, I
- 11:08Speaker 1: was doing cheaper by the dozen. I was doing weights,
- 11:10Speaker 1: but not cardio. And man, I gotta tell you, it's uh,
- 11:15Speaker 1: it's hard to get back with a testament to how
- 11:18Speaker 1: far I made it because I tried for a second
- 11:20Speaker 1: to do where I was at and that was not
- 11:22Speaker 1: really doable. Yeah, I uh, you know, we walked Disneyland,
- 11:27Speaker 1: so that was our cardio. No, And then the very
- 11:30Speaker 1: next day I played golf. Right after that, I played
- 11:33Speaker 1: golf the next day and walked another six miles. And
- 11:36Speaker 1: today my legs are a little, uh, they're a little
- 11:40Speaker 1: worn out, a little jelly. Yeah, but I'm gonna say
- 11:43Speaker 1: I will say the good thing about Peloton is that
- 11:46Speaker 1: it's kind of like a ski mountain. You know, you
- 11:48Speaker 1: can just do it at whatever level you're at. And
- 11:49Speaker 1: I was certainly getting pretty darn good at it. Not
- 11:52Speaker 1: Casey Cobb good, but good. And today I was like, ooh,
- 11:55Speaker 1: back to the bunny slopes. I gotta build back up.
- 11:59Speaker 1: I like that. I'm I'm doing it. I'm doing I'm
- 12:01Speaker 1: putting in the hustle. Donald, I'm gonna put into work.
- 12:04Speaker 1: I'm putting in the hustle. I need you to join
- 12:05Speaker 1: me on the hustle. I'm gonna put the work in
- 12:07Speaker 1: with you. Peloton, here we go. Not only am I
- 12:09Speaker 1: gonna peloton, I'm also gonna lift weights too, though. Yeah,
- 12:12Speaker 1: I wish you'd joined me at my gym. I I
- 12:14Speaker 1: send Donald pictures because other than my girlfriend, I can't
- 12:16Speaker 1: only send progress shots to anyone because you know, but
- 12:20Speaker 1: I send him to Donald. Dude, I'm gonna be honest
- 12:23Speaker 1: with you. Oh it's a little it's a little gay,
- 12:27Speaker 1: but sending you my progress shots, I thought that you'd
- 12:30Speaker 1: know it's nothing but you and like these really tight
- 12:32Speaker 1: shorts with your shirt off, and for some reason, I
- 12:35Speaker 1: get a weird boner. So I just want if it shifts,
- 12:38Speaker 1: it shifts, don't deny what you're feeling. I didn't deny it.
- 12:41Speaker 1: I just said it just feels a little gay. Okay,
- 12:44Speaker 1: I'm okay, that's fine, dude. We're all a little gay. Hey,
- 12:48Speaker 1: everybody's gay in Hollywood. Shit, right, listen. I remember what
- 12:54Speaker 1: is it, the Kinsey scale, which is the determines where
- 12:57Speaker 1: on the straight gay spectrum you fall. It's okay if
- 13:01Speaker 1: you if your Kinsey scale moves Donald, because you saw
- 13:05Speaker 1: my abs. Your abs are fucking fierce. Okay, you have
- 13:09Speaker 1: fierce abs right now. I met you and McGregor, and
- 13:12Speaker 1: my Kinsey scale just blew up. It was like it
- 13:14Speaker 1: was like, little boy, It was no longer a scale.
- 13:18Speaker 1: It was just like it was like just a dot
- 13:20Speaker 1: with you. And it was like when you get on
- 13:21Speaker 1: the seat, when you get on the seesaw and somebody
- 13:23Speaker 1: jumps off when they're on the bottom and you get
- 13:25Speaker 1: crashing down. That's what happened when I met you and McGregor.
- 13:29Speaker 1: He was like, hello, there you like, and I was like,
- 13:35Speaker 1: that's all right. Do you remember how it was when
- 13:37Speaker 1: we met Benjamin Bratt? Do you remember that? Yeah, same thing, dude.
- 13:43Speaker 1: We were grabbing each other's hands were a little kid.
- 13:46Speaker 1: We weren't slapping, we were holding like it was like
- 13:48Speaker 1: we were trying to hold each other's hands, like oh
- 13:50Speaker 1: my god, oh my god, it's all right. Just let
- 13:52Speaker 1: it happen. Let my abs wash over you. If if
- 13:55Speaker 1: it moves it moves Donald. Do you go every day? No? Oh,
- 14:00Speaker 1: I'm I'm during the movie. I was just going when
- 14:02Speaker 1: I could. Now I'm now that I'm done with the movie,
- 14:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm committed to going three times a week
- 14:06Speaker 1: and then doing cardio on the two days off. Good
- 14:09Speaker 1: for you, man, that's my commitment to myself and hopefully
- 14:11Speaker 1: sneaking in some tennis with you, my friend. All right,
- 14:16Speaker 1: let's talk about the TV show Scrubs. This is season five.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Speaking of fit, how fucking fit are you? In season five?
- 14:22Speaker 1: I lost some weight? Bro, you look good. Do you
- 14:25Speaker 1: remember what was going on? You looked like Tay Diggs.
- 14:28Speaker 1: I had I had a new girlfriend. Uh, and I
- 14:34Speaker 1: was trying to keep up. I guess I don't know
- 14:37Speaker 1: what it was. I don't know what happened. Was this
- 14:39Speaker 1: Casey or a different one? This was a season five
- 14:43Speaker 1: is a different one. So yeah, it's it's Casey. Oh
- 14:47Speaker 1: a new one, meaning yeah, it was Casey coming in. Okay,
- 14:50Speaker 1: all right, listen, we're attendings. We are attending. This episode
- 14:55Speaker 1: was written and directed by the legendary showrunner Bill Lawrence.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Very new things like the new new things that I
- 15:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna be honest with you. I was like, wait,
- 15:07Speaker 1: this isn't a fantasy. First of all, this is the
- 15:10Speaker 1: ultimate example in all nine years of Scrubs, the most
- 15:14Speaker 1: egregious example of this isn't the fantasy is in this episode. Yeah,
- 15:18Speaker 1: you in a backpack. I'm in a backpack, and it's
- 15:20Speaker 1: not a fantasy. And then fold it up with your
- 15:22Speaker 1: feet by your face. And it's not even a giant
- 15:25Speaker 1: backpacking backpack. It's like a school backpack. Yeah, and you
- 15:29Speaker 1: fit inside of it. And that's how we sneak into
- 15:31Speaker 1: the movies, and that's how I sneak you into my house,
- 15:34Speaker 1: in my apartment. I should say, I know, and by
- 15:36Speaker 1: the way, I cracked up at it. But I just
- 15:38Speaker 1: don't know why Bill didn't just decide to flash out
- 15:41Speaker 1: and make it a fantasy, but he really stayed committed
- 15:44Speaker 1: to it being real life. There's so many moments in
- 15:47Speaker 1: this that are like that. Even with the cardboard cutouts,
- 15:49Speaker 1: get the heck out of here. You hide in the
- 15:51Speaker 1: cardboard cutout. You hide in the cardboard cutouts amidst the
- 15:57Speaker 1: cardboard cutout. Yeah, sorry, you hide minst. However you say
- 16:01Speaker 1: that shit amidst you can't say amidst amidst. You hid AMIDST. No,
- 16:08Speaker 1: don't not how to say it. You are ami dst amidst.
- 16:13Speaker 1: You hid AMIDST. Nice, you nailed it the cardboard cut out,
- 16:19Speaker 1: I did. But that's believable. No, bro, Well what's what's
- 16:24Speaker 1: not believable is that the janitor went into a copy
- 16:26Speaker 1: room for thirty seconds, second comes out and he was
- 16:30Speaker 1: able to make a cardboard cut out of me that
- 16:32Speaker 1: and turn dropping the birth control pill down cards. Oh
- 16:37Speaker 1: my god. First of all, let's be real for a second.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Wouldn't a wife, a woman be fucking livid on the
- 16:45Speaker 1: verge of ending of marriage over this, na, not unless
- 16:49Speaker 1: I mean, if you're dosing her secretly with birth control bills.
- 16:52Speaker 1: It's clear that they didn't have a conversation about this baby.
- 16:55Speaker 1: She said she wants to have a baby, and he's like,
- 16:57Speaker 1: all right, fine, I'll do whatever you want to do.
- 17:00Speaker 1: It's pretty much would happen, bro, And you're hiding birth
- 17:02Speaker 1: control pills in her food, yeah, because she said she
- 17:05Speaker 1: wants to have sex. And listen, I'm gonna tell you
- 17:07Speaker 1: something right now, Manking the baby is a lot of fun,
- 17:09Speaker 1: but once the baby is in there, the sex stops. Man,
- 17:13Speaker 1: it's over. Women get really randy when they have a
- 17:16Speaker 1: baby every now and then, but not every day. Look,
- 17:18Speaker 1: you heard what he said. In the last eight days,
- 17:21Speaker 1: we had sex twenty times. Do you know how much
- 17:24Speaker 1: I would love that if my wife for the next
- 17:27Speaker 1: eight days was like, we're gonna fuck twenty times. We're
- 17:30Speaker 1: gonna fuck twenty times in eight days, baby, so you
- 17:33Speaker 1: better get ready, man. I would I would be drinking
- 17:35Speaker 1: all of the pineapple juice I needed to drink. I
- 17:38Speaker 1: would be doing anything. I would be drinking red bulls, listen,
- 17:42Speaker 1: anything and everything to fuck twenty times in eight days.
- 17:46Speaker 1: That's a freaking dream come true for me. I don't
- 17:48Speaker 1: know about Joe. Put that on a T shirt, Jewel
- 17:50Speaker 1: in the merch store quote quote Donald Phazon, you want
- 17:55Speaker 1: to quote that? Yeah, I want to put that on
- 17:57Speaker 1: a T shirt. That's a big That's a lot to
- 17:58Speaker 1: put on a T shirt. Dude, fu twenty times and
- 18:01Speaker 1: eight days is a dream come true for me. Yeah,
- 18:03Speaker 1: that's a lot of words on a T shirt. Bro. Yeah. Oh,
- 18:06Speaker 1: by the way, the other thing, not to digress for
- 18:08Speaker 1: a minute, but we talked about putting um. Since Donald's
- 18:11Speaker 1: answer was so popular on Family Feud, of an alligator
- 18:14Speaker 1: being the most helpful animal to get you out of
- 18:16Speaker 1: the zoo. We we talked about some merch, Joel, if
- 18:19Speaker 1: you could make this happen. We need someone to draw
- 18:22Speaker 1: an alligator helping people out of the zoo, and then
- 18:25Speaker 1: over the fence and on the back it's going to say.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Survey says, all right, well, Joel, don't you think that
- 18:37Speaker 1: in real life if a woman was getting secretly dosed
- 18:41Speaker 1: by her husband with birth control pills, that she would
- 18:44Speaker 1: be a smidge more upset than Carla was. It's absolutely
- 18:46Speaker 1: about to be a fight. It's absolutely because that's year
- 18:49Speaker 1: of all your hormones. It's all of them. What are
- 18:53Speaker 1: you doing? Yeah, if you wanted to have the conversation,
- 18:56Speaker 1: you could have brought it like Dart could have been like, Yo,
- 18:57Speaker 1: we gotta talk about happens baby out o here. Instead
- 18:59Speaker 1: he was like, well, if I just accidentally choke you
- 19:01Speaker 1: in the middle of the night with this pill times
- 19:06Speaker 1: tomorrow and then he given it to me too. I didn't,
- 19:09Speaker 1: I don't know, and I'm eating the brownies and then
- 19:11Speaker 1: Cox takes my urine sample in and finds out that
- 19:14Speaker 1: I'm it's positive for birth control. I'm trying to get pregnant.
- 19:25Speaker 1: So Elliott's moved to a new fancy hospital which is clearly,
- 19:28Speaker 1: very clearly just one nurse. The station of the hospital
- 19:32Speaker 1: they've modit me look modern, it's it's our hospital. They
- 19:35Speaker 1: just like put some blue lights up and change the
- 19:37Speaker 1: decor a bit. Yes. Um, And the episode opens with
- 19:40Speaker 1: two big pratfalls, one for me when I'm I fall
- 19:43Speaker 1: down the hotel I'm staying in steps and then Sarah
- 19:48Speaker 1: falls for some apparent reason entering her new hospital and
- 19:52Speaker 1: then I get caught. Um. Yes, and I have to
- 19:56Speaker 1: hand over my driving sunglasses, driving scarf, driving gloves. And
- 20:01Speaker 1: then he looks at my crotch and I go, here's
- 20:04Speaker 1: your driving sock and I pull socc out. I guess
- 20:07Speaker 1: I was stuffing my jock to make myself look girthier. Well,
- 20:13Speaker 1: they say, when you have a car like that, you're,
- 20:18Speaker 1: you know, compensating for something. I don't think that's true,
- 20:22Speaker 1: because I like sports cars and I'm very happy with
- 20:25Speaker 1: my people. It's nothing like a nice girthy shaft and
- 20:31Speaker 1: its natural element. Yeah that's true, But you're saying that
- 20:35Speaker 1: if you have a girthy enough shaft, you're fine driving
- 20:38Speaker 1: any car, and that men stir typically with small peeps
- 20:43Speaker 1: like a sports car. That's what you're saying that you
- 20:45Speaker 1: agree with that, And I just isn't that like the Yes,
- 20:49Speaker 1: that is a joke people say, like when they see
- 20:50Speaker 1: a Lamborghini go, why they go, he must have a
- 20:53Speaker 1: small penis or something, right, I thought that was the stereotype.
- 20:56Speaker 1: I was just it is. I don't like it. I was, um,
- 21:04Speaker 1: what about baggy cargo pants? Did you see the the
- 21:06Speaker 1: I used to rock these baggy ass cargo pants and
- 21:10Speaker 1: they are really highlighted here in two thousand and six.
- 21:14Speaker 1: I didn't notice him. Oh yeah, when I'm when I'm
- 21:16Speaker 1: taking out my my driving sock. Um, you have some
- 21:20Speaker 1: baggy cargo You see the pants? Do you remember these pants?
- 21:23Speaker 1: And we all used to wear it. I do remember
- 21:26Speaker 1: wearing baggy ass clothes and stuff like that, but you know,
- 21:29Speaker 1: I don't recall you wearing baggy ass cargo pants, you know,
- 21:32Speaker 1: with the wide leg, no no taper at all, just
- 21:35Speaker 1: like the wide ass all the way down. You know,
- 21:39Speaker 1: I still got them joints. I don't want to give
- 21:41Speaker 1: them up. Whenever I put on my cargo shorts, flows
- 21:45Speaker 1: like no, no, no, no, no, no. Yeah, my wife
- 21:47Speaker 1: made me throw out my cargo shorts. I don't have
- 21:49Speaker 1: them anymore. Yeah, I still have one just for memory sake,
- 21:53Speaker 1: and all my cargo pants that I loved are gone
- 21:56Speaker 1: to Yeah. Fortunately the janitor says to me, how depress wresting?
- 22:00Speaker 1: Is it being you that's fucked up? That's so fucked up?
- 22:06Speaker 1: But then you'd say to him, you know, can you
- 22:08Speaker 1: I have a new intern coming in which leads to
- 22:12Speaker 1: probably one of your biggest monologues ever in the show's history.
- 22:16Speaker 1: That's true, and it's pretty funny. Whole rangers from getting
- 22:19Speaker 1: the reference to Catch twenty two wrong to trying to
- 22:22Speaker 1: go to fourteen ninety two. I'm trying to be like Cox,
- 22:25Speaker 1: you know, I'm trying to give them my big Cox monologue.
- 22:28Speaker 1: You mean it's not It wasn't a fisherman who was
- 22:31Speaker 1: out at sea and twenty two fish. No, that's not
- 22:33Speaker 1: the plot of Catch twenty two. I thought it was.
- 22:37Speaker 1: I was like, oh, that's pretty clever. K. Yeah, man,
- 22:41Speaker 1: I'm a dummy man when it comes to I said
- 22:43Speaker 1: alligator would help out animals on the family feud? Right?
- 22:47Speaker 1: You also said California was that was just a brain
- 22:51Speaker 1: part that was just a brain Yeah, but Steve Harvill,
- 22:53Speaker 1: the judges gave it to you though. I think it
- 22:54Speaker 1: was a celebrity h celebrity family feud leniency. Okay, that's fine.
- 23:00Speaker 1: I know we won with it, and I'm happy and
- 23:02Speaker 1: we want We gave a twenty five thousand dollars to
- 23:04Speaker 1: charity first stop AAPI hate. I'm cool with that. I'm
- 23:09Speaker 1: just saying you did say California briefly. Yeah, but I
- 23:12Speaker 1: had a brain for it. It's all good. It happens. Hey,
- 23:15Speaker 1: I have brain farts too that I couldn't think of.
- 23:17Speaker 1: What was the thing? Wreck? What's something in your life
- 23:19Speaker 1: that's a wreck? Yeah? So wait, this is the episode.
- 23:24Speaker 1: The whole episode we don't see Keith right, and then
- 23:28Speaker 1: we come back the next episode, and is it Keith Yes,
- 23:31Speaker 1: the one who later becomes Keith dude Meister who becomes
- 23:36Speaker 1: Elliot's boyfriend. Yes, But a little bit of scrubs wiki trivia. Um,
- 23:40Speaker 1: from the camera angle and from seeing his hands, he's
- 23:44Speaker 1: nothing like Keith right. He doesn't even the hair. When
- 23:48Speaker 1: you mess up his hair. I imagine they hadn't cast
- 23:51Speaker 1: him yet, and so this was a placeholder, got it?
- 23:56Speaker 1: But um, Yeah, that was. That was That was. It
- 24:00Speaker 1: was very interesting because I was like, I don't if
- 24:03Speaker 1: this is Keith one. He doesn't sound like Keith. Yeah
- 24:08Speaker 1: it was. I don't know. I didn't know if it
- 24:10Speaker 1: was Bill or not. But it's just something going. And
- 24:16Speaker 1: Keith never really comes off afraid when we meet him
- 24:19Speaker 1: later on, or does he am I'm missing something. I
- 24:22Speaker 1: don't know. I can tell you that scrubs Wicky said
- 24:25Speaker 1: something interesting. It said, um, maybe it's inspired by a
- 24:31Speaker 1: Mash episode that was called point of View, which is
- 24:34Speaker 1: from the whole episodes from the eyes of an injured soldier.
- 24:38Speaker 1: And we know Bill loved Mash, so maybe it was
- 24:41Speaker 1: a homage to Mash. That ship was hilarious. That coffee
- 24:45Speaker 1: machine gag man where Elliot's trying to fill the coffee
- 24:48Speaker 1: and she runs to the hospital to get the foley
- 24:50Speaker 1: calf that are and when she gets back, the coffee's
- 24:53Speaker 1: all down, running all down the hallway that should have
- 24:55Speaker 1: been rolling out loud. I laughed out loud at that one.
- 24:58Speaker 1: This was the era two thousand and six was when
- 25:00Speaker 1: those like we thought we were so cool because we
- 25:02Speaker 1: actually had a coffee robot on set. It was like
- 25:04Speaker 1: when those first things came out and we were like
- 25:07Speaker 1: a coffee robot and it just makes whatever you want.
- 25:10Speaker 1: It's too good to be true. We didn't realize what
- 25:12Speaker 1: shit coffee it was, but we were just geek to
- 25:14Speaker 1: have it. That ship was hilarious. The whole Turkish thing
- 25:18Speaker 1: was hilarious. So jd apparently speaks Turkish fluently. Yeah, not
- 25:24Speaker 1: only that, but uh, what was the dude's name? Omar?
- 25:29Speaker 1: Omar was a thief and was stealing your pudding without
- 25:34Speaker 1: you knowing about it. Yes, and we did a double
- 25:38Speaker 1: play on the word Turk, the Turks. I'm really pissed off. Okay,
- 25:42Speaker 1: I'm getting really annoyed at the Turks right now. Yah
- 25:44Speaker 1: was the first one. And he turns around. She goes, no,
- 25:47Speaker 1: not you, Omar, I mean these two. And then you go,
- 25:50Speaker 1: I'm really getting annoyed with the Turks right now, and
- 25:53Speaker 1: she goes you too. Well, I don't know what she said,
- 25:55Speaker 1: but you're like, no, Omar, he's stealing my pudding. Very funny.
- 26:02Speaker 1: And then and then and then in Turkish, I uh
- 26:06Speaker 1: that is the language, right, Turkish, that's a lab I believe. So, Daniel,
- 26:09Speaker 1: you seem like someone who would know that. I appreciate
- 26:13Speaker 1: the casual throws to me knowing everything, but I'm in
- 26:16Speaker 1: my mind, you're You're in my mind, you're even smarter
- 26:19Speaker 1: than you actually are. I appreciate I talk with confidence
- 26:23Speaker 1: about the things I know a lot about and come
- 26:25Speaker 1: off like I know everything I cannot. I really appreciate that,
- 26:28Speaker 1: though I was not it wrong, I do want Wait,
- 26:30Speaker 1: where's me? You honor me? I can't even I haven't
- 26:31Speaker 1: amused you honor me? So long? Stuff you honor me,
- 26:37Speaker 1: you honor you honor me? It works? Should we talk
- 26:39Speaker 1: about how JD bumps and rush me? Sorry, bro, let's
- 26:47Speaker 1: talk about how you fake an orgasm and it's like
- 26:49Speaker 1: you you have like a fucking full on when Harry
- 26:51Speaker 1: met Sally moment. No, but they don't let me go
- 26:53Speaker 1: for real. Well they clearly, they clearly that. Oh I
- 26:58Speaker 1: can only imagine what you must have done in out takes. Wait,
- 27:01Speaker 1: you could do it here. Don't don't encourage you, my god,
- 27:06Speaker 1: Yes I do, Joel, Joel, I can't leave you. I
- 27:09Speaker 1: would like the record to reflect for any women that
- 27:13Speaker 1: are offended. I'd like the record to reflect that Joel
- 27:15Speaker 1: requested this. She asked this, You're gonna need to mix
- 27:18Speaker 1: it down. I'm sure, down right you're gonna get me there,
- 27:25Speaker 1: aren't you? Zach? I love you? Oh, oh my god,
- 27:39Speaker 1: I'm sorry about Oh my god, he came again. He
- 27:42Speaker 1: came again. Something for you, something for me? Oh my gosh.
- 27:48Speaker 1: All right, nut man, you know what, Joel, You're welcome,
- 27:58Speaker 1: you as you're welcome. What I would say when that
- 28:00Speaker 1: hit my forehead? What would you say when I said
- 28:09Speaker 1: to you, when I said to you, Okay, I'm gonna
- 28:11Speaker 1: try to come, what would you say, do or do
- 28:14Speaker 1: not try? Oh my god, I can't believe we've done
- 28:21Speaker 1: this on the show. We'll probably have to cut that,
- 28:23Speaker 1: but it's funny. But for the record, Joel requested it.
- 28:27Speaker 1: She did request it. I think we should keep it. Um,
- 28:31Speaker 1: you call me a honky Adonis, Yes, no, you call
- 28:35Speaker 1: yourself a honky. Well you I'm saying that. You called
- 28:38Speaker 1: me a honky adonnas. Yes, And I'm quite doughey this season.
- 28:41Speaker 1: It doesn't look like I've been to the gym at all.
- 28:43Speaker 1: I was probably having a very fun time off I
- 28:47Speaker 1: have in season five at this I'm doughey. I think
- 28:50Speaker 1: we were all, uh, you know, we were finding new
- 28:54Speaker 1: things that we liked about like eating and drinking. Well,
- 28:58Speaker 1: you know what you were in, you are in, if
- 29:01Speaker 1: I recall correctly, you were in a relationship, a very
- 29:04Speaker 1: good relationship at this point, and so you know, you
- 29:07Speaker 1: know what how it gets when you fall in love
- 29:09Speaker 1: and everything like that you start eating. Is this the
- 29:11Speaker 1: same season with Mandy. I think it is the Mandy.
- 29:14Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure it is. This is when this is
- 29:18Speaker 1: right around the time where Radon is starting to get traction. Also,
- 29:23Speaker 1: I mean like he's starting to he's starting to catch fuego.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Well I don't know if he's starting to catch fuego,
- 29:28Speaker 1: but you know he would he would have a night
- 29:31Speaker 1: at the hotel cafe. It wouldn't just be you know
- 29:34Speaker 1: what I mean, Like I feel like Carrie was the
- 29:37Speaker 1: one that brought everybody to the hotel cafe. Yes, and
- 29:41Speaker 1: then you know, and would always headline acts. But then
- 29:44Speaker 1: I think this is when Raydon started to break off
- 29:46Speaker 1: and do Yeah, Raydin started to catch a fuego a bit,
- 29:50Speaker 1: and that was exciting to watch watch it happen. I
- 29:54Speaker 1: believe this is the season that that happened. Um, so
- 29:58Speaker 1: it's revealed that I had to gnaw my way out
- 30:00Speaker 1: of said backpack to get out, because Carla says that
- 30:04Speaker 1: there was a hole in the backpack and her change
- 30:07Speaker 1: fell through it. Yes, and the only way that I
- 30:09Speaker 1: was able to get out of the tiny backpack was
- 30:11Speaker 1: that I had to gnaw my way out, which is
- 30:15Speaker 1: like this is this is I guess where Scrubs gets
- 30:18Speaker 1: really wacky all of a sudden. Well, well, dude, we're
- 30:21Speaker 1: about to do when when do the fucking ostriches that
- 30:23Speaker 1: steal your hat? Is that this season? It might be?
- 30:25Speaker 1: It could be it's either this whatever season that we
- 30:30Speaker 1: have the baby, so it could be the next season.
- 30:33Speaker 1: Just said, Mandy's in the is in the is in
- 30:36Speaker 1: the poison episode my half acre? Is that what you're saying,
- 30:39Speaker 1: Joelle episode nine of this season see and she's also
- 30:42Speaker 1: saying Turkish, also referred to as Istamboul Turkish or Turkey
- 30:46Speaker 1: Turkish is the most widely spoken of the Turkic languages.
- 30:50Speaker 1: So there you go. There's your trivia that Daniel should
- 30:51Speaker 1: have known. There you go. All right, we need to
- 30:54Speaker 1: take a break and we will be right back with
- 30:55Speaker 1: more of this show. Recap rewatch and we're back and
- 31:07Speaker 1: we're back. Was it? I'm gonna get you sucker. It
- 31:10Speaker 1: was a Hollywood shuffle. That's Hollywood shuffle. Yeah. I love
- 31:13Speaker 1: that movie, Winkie. Do you think that movie holds up? Yeah? Absolutely,
- 31:16Speaker 1: we gotta watch that movie. We should do Amy you killed?
- 31:26Speaker 1: Did my brother? I love did this? Dude? Baby? Do
- 31:31Speaker 1: you guys know this movie? Daniel Joel, I'm not seen
- 31:34Speaker 1: Hollywood Shuffle? Oh my god, you guys have to watch
- 31:38Speaker 1: Hollywood and the Great Keenan Ivory Waynes, Joe. It will
- 31:43Speaker 1: pair very nicely with jazz cabbage. Then you know, I'm
- 31:47Speaker 1: about it. Let's do it it. It's morally, it's amazing too.
- 31:52Speaker 1: It all takes place like in the early eighties when
- 31:55Speaker 1: Eddie Murphy was the king of what he did and
- 32:00Speaker 1: his style of comedy was reigning Supreme, and how everybody
- 32:04Speaker 1: wanted black people to be like Eddie Murphy on auditions
- 32:08Speaker 1: and stuff like that. And one of the words that
- 32:13Speaker 1: is used in this, which was used a lot back
- 32:16Speaker 1: in the day, was hey, man, do you think maybe
- 32:19Speaker 1: you could do that just a little bit blacker? H mmmmmmmm.
- 32:24Speaker 1: Hollywood shuffle was said to you Donald. Ever, everybody, I
- 32:29Speaker 1: think if you were acting in the early eighties late nineties,
- 32:33Speaker 1: somebody tried to figure out a way to say that
- 32:36Speaker 1: to you without saying it. If they did say it,
- 32:39Speaker 1: you know wow. But if they did, they would be like, yo,
- 32:42Speaker 1: could you jazz it up or something? Or maybe you
- 32:44Speaker 1: know that thing put that thing, that thing, that thing
- 32:47Speaker 1: that you street. Then they say like a little more street, right,
- 32:50Speaker 1: the more street, ye street? What was that from? That was?
- 32:55Speaker 1: If that was if ev from Small Wonder was a
- 32:58Speaker 1: racist director, Donald, could you do that again more street?
- 33:06Speaker 1: Oh my god, that is a deep cut joke, or
- 33:09Speaker 1: if Evie was a racist direct Evie from Small Wonder
- 33:12Speaker 1: was a racist director and she was like Donald one
- 33:15Speaker 1: more time, blacker, Oh my god, that is a deep
- 33:23Speaker 1: cut joke. It was one of our odd set jokes, right,
- 33:27Speaker 1: you gotta know you gotta know it. Who Evie from
- 33:29Speaker 1: Small Wonder is a But a lot of these children
- 33:31Speaker 1: listening don't know small Come on. There was a comm
- 33:35Speaker 1: called Small Wonder and it was the really really bad sitcom.
- 33:38Speaker 1: But the premise was that the dad had built a
- 33:41Speaker 1: robot daughter daughter, and she looked like a human, but
- 33:44Speaker 1: she was a robot and talked and she had special powers.
- 33:48Speaker 1: She talked like a robot. Yes, Donald, mar Street, Donald,
- 33:54Speaker 1: do that again? This time Blacker. Anyway, you guys gotta
- 34:07Speaker 1: watch Hollywood Shuffle. It's it's Donald says, it holds up.
- 34:10Speaker 1: I haven't seen years, but started making list of all
- 34:12Speaker 1: the movies. It is a big it is a big
- 34:16Speaker 1: satire of that. It's a big satire of the film
- 34:20Speaker 1: industry from the perspective of a of a young black filmmaker,
- 34:25Speaker 1: Robert Townsend, who just it was. I think it was
- 34:26Speaker 1: one of his earliest films, right, Donald, dude, Yeah, yeah,
- 34:29Speaker 1: he made the movie. He was so credit cards, Yeah, dude,
- 34:33Speaker 1: Uh like literally he took his credit He used his
- 34:36Speaker 1: credit cards to make this movie. Yeah. Don't you remember
- 34:39Speaker 1: Homeboys on film where they're in the movie theater and
- 34:44Speaker 1: they're there, they're instead of Cisco and Ebert, it's two
- 34:47Speaker 1: brothers from the neighborhood, and they're giving you what they
- 34:50Speaker 1: like about what movies they liked and everything like that.
- 34:53Speaker 1: I forgot that part and they oh, man, the one
- 34:56Speaker 1: with dirty they do one with dirty Harry You I remember,
- 35:00Speaker 1: It's like, we give that one the finger. And then
- 35:03Speaker 1: there's one where it's Indiana Jones and it's like, uh,
- 35:07Speaker 1: he goes, I thought it was I thought it sucked,
- 35:09Speaker 1: But he liked it that bullshit. You don't remember that, no,
- 35:13Speaker 1: but I remember really laughing and thinking Robert Townsend was
- 35:16Speaker 1: a genius. Yeah, he is a genius. Man like him,
- 35:19Speaker 1: Eddie Murphy, Keenan and Ivy Waynes. When they when the
- 35:22Speaker 1: three of them were together, they were unstoppable, man. Like
- 35:26Speaker 1: that was like the dynamic trio. That was like the
- 35:28Speaker 1: one the three of them together, they all all three
- 35:31Speaker 1: of them worked together. Yeah, and they were I mean,
- 35:37Speaker 1: you would tell me that there was a lot of
- 35:39Speaker 1: collaboration I didn't know about between those guys. Yeah. Man,
- 35:42Speaker 1: that was like the that was the crew, and I
- 35:45Speaker 1: you know, they were all just so funny. It was
- 35:48Speaker 1: like imagine having the three funniest people on the planet
- 35:51Speaker 1: at the time working together. And that's what that was.
- 35:54Speaker 1: Did I don't say my story Remind me if I
- 35:55Speaker 1: told you the story in the podcast where my my,
- 35:58Speaker 1: my brother and I were pitching to this like old
- 36:01Speaker 1: white woman producer a script and she goes, you know,
- 36:06Speaker 1: you could go black with it, and we're like, sure, yeah,
- 36:11Speaker 1: that there's no reason why I couldn't be an African
- 36:14Speaker 1: American story. And she goes, you know, they're doing that
- 36:18Speaker 1: thing and she moved her arms like this, I'm moving
- 36:24Speaker 1: them back and forth, and she kind of scrunched up.
- 36:26Speaker 1: She scrunched up her face and she's like, you know,
- 36:28Speaker 1: they're doing that thing. I never forgot everyone want her
- 36:34Speaker 1: to pitch. I never forgot that she should never ever
- 36:40Speaker 1: pitch a movie before you ever. No, we were pitching
- 36:43Speaker 1: a movie to her, and her response was well, yeah,
- 36:46Speaker 1: because she's gonna take this to her boss and be like,
- 36:49Speaker 1: you know, so I think I got them to go
- 36:51Speaker 1: black with it. Yeah, They're gonna go black with it,
- 36:52Speaker 1: you know, because we can get them doing that thing.
- 36:58Speaker 1: I wonder what she was trying to imitate, because I
- 36:59Speaker 1: can't tell if it's like, is it a basketball move? No?
- 37:02Speaker 1: I think I think it was. I think it was
- 37:04Speaker 1: they were strutting down the street and being arms arm walk. Okay, yeah,
- 37:14Speaker 1: that doing nit all right now. I laughed out loud,
- 37:20Speaker 1: very hard. When you see j D in my tidy
- 37:23Speaker 1: whities side stepping out of the apartment and then you
- 37:27Speaker 1: guys catch me and just gonna take a quick two.
- 37:34Speaker 1: That was very funny. Yeah, man, there were there was
- 37:37Speaker 1: the episode started off where I was like, this doesn't
- 37:39Speaker 1: feel like Scrubs at all. Really and then as it
- 37:43Speaker 1: went on, it was like, this is when Scrubs gets wacky.
- 37:46Speaker 1: This I mean, we literally have an ostrich that we
- 37:50Speaker 1: have it. We get treated by ostriches. They steal Donald's
- 37:53Speaker 1: cano and with it, you know, and then they we
- 37:57Speaker 1: can't come down because they're working in shifts as trees. Yeah,
- 38:00Speaker 1: the austri That was the Jason Bateman episode. But he
- 38:06Speaker 1: makes he makes them into belts, makes their belts, he
- 38:11Speaker 1: makes their Next season is that is that this season?
- 38:14Speaker 1: I think it is, Oh my goodness, this season's gonna be. Yeah,
- 38:19Speaker 1: this season's gonna be wacky as hell. You could tell
- 38:22Speaker 1: we're amped up though, Donald, We're geeked. We came in
- 38:24Speaker 1: all hot. We came in like raring to go. I think,
- 38:27Speaker 1: you know what, I think, like either we worked during
- 38:30Speaker 1: the summer or if we didn't work. We definitely partied
- 38:33Speaker 1: hard during the summer, like we were. My doeanus suggest
- 38:36Speaker 1: that I probably partied. Well. All I'm saying is we
- 38:39Speaker 1: were ready to We were ready to go back and
- 38:41Speaker 1: be at like we We are definitely feeling ourselves in
- 38:45Speaker 1: the beginning of this. I agree, you know, I agree.
- 38:49Speaker 1: The acting is really big. You know, we're We're like,
- 38:52Speaker 1: we're like racehorses or that were kept in the stable,
- 38:55Speaker 1: and we're like, we're fucking let's go out right and
- 38:58Speaker 1: we come out swinging and yeah, Joelle, is there a
- 39:01Speaker 1: guest today? There is? They're here. All right, we'll be
- 39:05Speaker 1: right back after these fine words and we're back. We
- 39:14Speaker 1: are back, all right, let's go to a caller, Joelle.
- 39:17Speaker 1: That's always a fun segment. I kind of I kind
- 39:19Speaker 1: of like it when they're when they're really nutty. We
- 39:21Speaker 1: might need to get more people that have open relationships,
- 39:25Speaker 1: and that's good. Do I do like to have conversations
- 39:29Speaker 1: that make people just a little uncomfortable. Yeah, I like
- 39:32Speaker 1: something that would make Bill hide under a ted Lass. Okay,
- 39:37Speaker 1: by the way, La is covered in ted Lasso billboards.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Have you noticed this? Everywhere? They're spending that money? Good man,
- 39:44Speaker 1: good it's a hit show. How funny was it when
- 39:46Speaker 1: Steve Harvey was what about Bill? Was like, make that
- 39:49Speaker 1: money and he started doing the money gesture. We got
- 39:51Speaker 1: a college, you know, like a bo some jazz maybe
- 40:03Speaker 1: the episode, So come on, let's give it up for
- 40:11Speaker 1: Travis Hi. Travis Hi, Zach Hi. This is um Donald Phazon, Joelle,
- 40:24Speaker 1: Monique and DJ Janel. What's happening in Travis? Hey, Don Donald?
- 40:30Speaker 1: You go by Don or Donald Donald? Usually? Yeah, there's
- 40:33Speaker 1: no one who ever calls you Don, is there? Donald? Youn?
- 40:36Speaker 1: You never became a Don. There are a few people
- 40:38Speaker 1: out there that out there to call me Don. Really,
- 40:41Speaker 1: who are I'm not one of them? Well, you just
- 40:43Speaker 1: met him and you haven't reached Don's status. Have you
- 40:47Speaker 1: reached on Don status? There? No, no, no, I just
- 40:49Speaker 1: went to the most enduring term for the closest of
- 40:53Speaker 1: his inner circle, which is wait, no, stop calling me foniers. Okay,
- 40:58Speaker 1: I know it's gonna happen in public, and I'm gonna
- 41:00Speaker 1: be so bummed out when someone calls him twars. He
- 41:03Speaker 1: almost did it at Disneyland. That was hilarious, I know.
- 41:05Speaker 1: And then he switched to tea Ears because it was inappropriate.
- 41:07Speaker 1: He yelled twat, so he was like, tea Ears get
- 41:09Speaker 1: back here. What about when you was funny you ran
- 41:14Speaker 1: into Frozone Donald, You had a whole scene, you got
- 41:18Speaker 1: your super sup pro zone. I got to post that video.
- 41:23Speaker 1: You are so funny. And then Frozone couldn't talk because
- 41:25Speaker 1: he's in a suit. I was like, I could have
- 41:27Speaker 1: watched Donald and Frozone talk for like a half hour.
- 41:30Speaker 1: The best moment was getting off the Millennium Falcon ride
- 41:32Speaker 1: with my kids and uh, your kid from Cheaper by
- 41:36Speaker 1: the Dozen yea, and Chewi talking to us and actually
- 41:41Speaker 1: being able to understand what Chewi was saying because he
- 41:44Speaker 1: was doing sign language. You understood it. No, he wasn't
- 41:47Speaker 1: doing sign language. He was asking us if we flew
- 41:49Speaker 1: to Falcon. He asked us how we did. I told
- 41:52Speaker 1: him I messed up the ship a little bit. He
- 41:54Speaker 1: then said to me, don't worry. I can fix it.
- 41:56Speaker 1: But you know what I mean. Like, but I knew
- 41:59Speaker 1: that he was saying, and I was like, holy cow,
- 42:02Speaker 1: all of these years of watching Star Wars, I definitely
- 42:04Speaker 1: speak Wookie now, so I actually have I can actually
- 42:08Speaker 1: do a Chewbacca. Let's hear it. Oh that's pretty good.
- 42:15Speaker 1: I don't think you don't sound impressed? No? Is that good?
- 42:23Speaker 1: All right? Travis, Welcome to the problem. Where are you
- 42:24Speaker 1: calling from? Dallas? Texas? Welcome, um Texas, Hello Texas folks.
- 42:31Speaker 1: We love you all, you Texans. Um Travis. What's your
- 42:34Speaker 1: question for us today? So my first question was, you
- 42:39Speaker 1: know they say never to meet your heroes, and I'm
- 42:41Speaker 1: kind of doing that right now, but I would want
- 42:44Speaker 1: to know when isn't a moment that you guys have
- 42:46Speaker 1: met somebody that you've looked up to or doesn't necessarily
- 42:49Speaker 1: have to be a hero, but they were better than
- 42:51Speaker 1: they expect and you expected them to be better than Yeah,
- 42:55Speaker 1: they're generosity. That's happened a couple. That's a good question.
- 42:59Speaker 1: I'm glad you asked the opposite because we couldn't really
- 43:01Speaker 1: say that about someone we wouldn't. Whenever I met Eddie Murphy,
- 43:05Speaker 1: he was very, very comp you know, he was always
- 43:08Speaker 1: very nice and gave a lot of compliments, you know,
- 43:12Speaker 1: to me and my family every time I've met him. Um,
- 43:16Speaker 1: and that is a hero of mine, and I was
- 43:18Speaker 1: nervous that he wouldn't be like that. Denzel Washington the
- 43:22Speaker 1: same thing, you know, when we were working together. You know,
- 43:25Speaker 1: when I was working with Denzel Uh, he very much
- 43:28Speaker 1: was the character he played in UH and remember the Titans.
- 43:32Speaker 1: He stuck to it, but once it was over every time.
- 43:35Speaker 1: I mean, I remember one time I was walking down
- 43:37Speaker 1: the street in Hollywood and Denzel drove by and stopped
- 43:40Speaker 1: his car and rolled down the window to talk to me,
- 43:44Speaker 1: you know what I mean, He like hollered at me
- 43:46Speaker 1: while I was walking, Hey Donald, and I looked in
- 43:49Speaker 1: the car and it's Denzel in the car, and I
- 43:51Speaker 1: was like, Yo, dude, what is it you know? Oh
- 43:53Speaker 1: my god. So like every time I've every time I've
- 43:57Speaker 1: had the opportunity to meet one of my rose, it's
- 44:01Speaker 1: been that way. The only hero that I haven't met,
- 44:03Speaker 1: a hero of mine that I haven't met, is Harrison Ford.
- 44:06Speaker 1: Believe it or not, I've never met him. I'm scared
- 44:10Speaker 1: to meet him too. I'm gonna be I'm gonna be
- 44:11Speaker 1: honest with you because that's one of those moments that
- 44:15Speaker 1: I tru to join and he'll be your best friend.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Well I hope that would happen, or it could be
- 44:19Speaker 1: he's like, get the funk out of here. I don't think.
- 44:23Speaker 1: I don't think he would be rude to you. My
- 44:26Speaker 1: answer is Bobby d Bobby Deeds and hero. I looked
- 44:29Speaker 1: up to him my whole life. I used to intern
- 44:31Speaker 1: at the Trebecca Film Center, which he um created and
- 44:35Speaker 1: runs in New York. And I remember I was an
- 44:37Speaker 1: intern and I saw him getting the elevator once and
- 44:39Speaker 1: I was like, I'd never even like seen a celebrity
- 44:42Speaker 1: of that magnitude before. And then cut to you know
- 44:47Speaker 1: a little over a year ago, and I'm starring in
- 44:49Speaker 1: a movie with him, and which is coming out by
- 44:52Speaker 1: the way. Uh, which is coming out by the way, Um,
- 44:56Speaker 1: isn't it July twenty third, the Comeback Trail. So if
- 45:01Speaker 1: you're on your phone right now, put it in your keel, um,
- 45:04Speaker 1: you know, and uh, go ahead. And he was just
- 45:08Speaker 1: so cool. You know. I can't speak enough to how
- 45:14Speaker 1: how instantly we were friends and talking about so much stuff.
- 45:18Speaker 1: And and then he invited me in Florence over his
- 45:20Speaker 1: house for dinner and um, and that was the most
- 45:23Speaker 1: surreal experience of my life. And we text to this
- 45:27Speaker 1: day all the time. And I just cannot believe that
- 45:30Speaker 1: I'm friends with Robert DeNiro because he's one of my
- 45:33Speaker 1: favorite actors of all time. And and so yeah, the
- 45:36Speaker 1: moment I was in his massage chair in his house, um,
- 45:39Speaker 1: and Florence and I were giggling. I was like, this
- 45:41Speaker 1: is pretty crazy. So I have two more people that
- 45:44Speaker 1: I should probably ahead Donald. So when I met Robert DeNiro,
- 45:48Speaker 1: I was a kid and I just can't get on
- 45:51Speaker 1: my DeNiro. I gotta do that. Well, then I tell
- 45:53Speaker 1: you about the time that I hung out with Denzel Okay,
- 45:56Speaker 1: and I was doing and I was He had me
- 45:59Speaker 1: do the table read for Bronx Taiale, A Bronx Taiale,
- 46:03Speaker 1: and then I auditioned for a Bronx Taiale. I didn't
- 46:05Speaker 1: get the movie, which you know kind of sucked, but
- 46:09Speaker 1: I remember going on the audition. I remember going to
- 46:12Speaker 1: the table read and meeting everybody. It seemed like from
- 46:15Speaker 1: a Scorsese film was there, like all of the actors,
- 46:19Speaker 1: and I remember that was one and everybody was matt cool.
- 46:22Speaker 1: But the one time where it was like I'd maybe
- 46:25Speaker 1: I shouldn't do it because everybody tells me not to
- 46:28Speaker 1: do it was Bill Murray at an audition. He walked
- 46:35Speaker 1: out of the of the room and people I remember
- 46:39Speaker 1: people telling me, if you ever meet Bill Murray, don't
- 46:41Speaker 1: say anything to him. He doesn't like that ship. And
- 46:44Speaker 1: he walked out and everybody gets quiet and doesn't say anything,
- 46:48Speaker 1: and I was like, this might be the only time
- 46:51Speaker 1: I ever get to meet this guy. Even if he
- 46:52Speaker 1: yells at me, I'll take it. And I go hey Bill,
- 46:56Speaker 1: and he turns around. I go, man, I really loved
- 46:59Speaker 1: ground day. And he looks at me and he goes,
- 47:02Speaker 1: thanks kid, thank you so much, and then gets an
- 47:05Speaker 1: elevator and leaves. And that just made my day, the
- 47:09Speaker 1: fact that he was like fuck you. He might have
- 47:14Speaker 1: muttered that to himself in the elevator, but yeah, but
- 47:17Speaker 1: still have you I love Have you seen the Netflix
- 47:22Speaker 1: movie about meeting Bill Murray where he'll just show up
- 47:25Speaker 1: at like random parties, And like he showed up at
- 47:29Speaker 1: some party in London. He was like doing their dishes
- 47:31Speaker 1: and he'd like go up and like eat somebody something
- 47:34Speaker 1: off at somebody's plate and he said, I dare to
- 47:36Speaker 1: tell somebody no, no one will ever believe you, and
- 47:38Speaker 1: he'll just walk off. He's amazing like that man like
- 47:42Speaker 1: he is he is a legend, Like he is an
- 47:44Speaker 1: ultimate legend. Like the fact that I don't know if
- 47:48Speaker 1: this is true or not, but there's a number that
- 47:50Speaker 1: you call if you want him to be in a
- 47:52Speaker 1: movie and if he's and if he decides he wants
- 47:54Speaker 1: to do it, he just does it. I got it
- 47:59Speaker 1: from a direct because I was thinking about trying to
- 48:01Speaker 1: offer him something. And I don't know if you can
- 48:03Speaker 1: see this, but he's got a T shirt. That's cool
- 48:08Speaker 1: Bilmory t shirt. My wife loves that shirt. Loves all right, Travis,
- 48:14Speaker 1: what's your next question? My friend? So I would like
- 48:17Speaker 1: to know, but I want to give your girlfriend a compliment,
- 48:21Speaker 1: Zach Ahead. I love her voice and I could listen
- 48:24Speaker 1: to her read a phone book. Yeah, she has a
- 48:27Speaker 1: very very very distinct thing and most people don't know
- 48:30Speaker 1: this about her. Um um. She has an incredible singing voice.
- 48:35Speaker 1: She was before Florence broke with her first film. She
- 48:38Speaker 1: was kind of deciding whether to pursue the thing or
- 48:41Speaker 1: songwriter route or the acting round. Obviously she wanted to
- 48:44Speaker 1: do both, and then she got a film and blew up.
- 48:46Speaker 1: But she is an incredible singer as well. And uh,
- 48:52Speaker 1: my second question, So I wanted to know, like, if
- 48:54Speaker 1: you were going to submit like a scene or a
- 48:57Speaker 1: monologue or something from anything that you've done, like us
- 49:00Speaker 1: or a movie or whatever. For it's let's say it
- 49:03Speaker 1: was like an Oscar reel, What from your body of
- 49:06Speaker 1: work would you submit? And what would you submit from
- 49:10Speaker 1: each other's body work? Like exactly what would you put
- 49:12Speaker 1: from Donald's body of work? That's that great question. I'd
- 49:14Speaker 1: put Donald doing the poison dance. I'd obviously put his
- 49:20Speaker 1: classic scene with Denzel. Oh yeah, I would. I definitely
- 49:26Speaker 1: put Donald in the car getting on the highway and
- 49:29Speaker 1: in cluers. I would put all of Gardens Stayed up
- 49:37Speaker 1: the hole. You can't put up the whole movie Donald. Okay,
- 49:39Speaker 1: so you're just saying because you can't remember individual scenes. No,
- 49:42Speaker 1: that's not true. But I would put all of Gardens
- 49:47Speaker 1: Stayed up. I would put Um. I would try and
- 49:51Speaker 1: throw his name in a hat for a director as well,
- 49:54Speaker 1: because I think he's one of my favorite directors. When
- 49:58Speaker 1: I know when he does something, if I'm in it,
- 50:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna fucking be good. You know what I mean?
- 50:03Speaker 1: Because he has a great knact for communication with actors
- 50:08Speaker 1: and thank you. Let me see. I don't know, man,
- 50:11Speaker 1: I don't know. He has a lot of things that
- 50:14Speaker 1: are very good. I I and and whole bodies. Like
- 50:18Speaker 1: he's a great storyteller. So I would have to put
- 50:20Speaker 1: all of Garden State. I'd have to put all of
- 50:22Speaker 1: which I was here. I'd have to put like I
- 50:24Speaker 1: get a deep cut that you don't know, and it's
- 50:27Speaker 1: from Last Kiss, and it's one of my favorite scenes
- 50:30Speaker 1: that I've ever been in, and it's me and Tom
- 50:32Speaker 1: Wilkinson on the front porch. Yeah, but he's great scene too.
- 50:36Speaker 1: He's really good. He drives the scene. I just when
- 50:39Speaker 1: when he asked this question, I've never it's a very
- 50:41Speaker 1: good question. I haven't thought about it, and my brain went,
- 50:45Speaker 1: you know, your brain just automatically. You know, there's obviously
- 50:47Speaker 1: the things I'm most known for, but my brain went
- 50:49Speaker 1: to that scene with Tom Wilkinson is something I thought
- 50:52Speaker 1: was special. Like he said, did you actually do this
- 50:55Speaker 1: thing that she's accusing you of doing? And that's where
- 50:58Speaker 1: he says that he's so he says a great quote,
- 51:01Speaker 1: which is something that if I'm paraphrasing, but it's something
- 51:04Speaker 1: like it's it doesn't matter what you say, it's what
- 51:07Speaker 1: you do to the people who love you that matters.
- 51:10Speaker 1: What you say means nothing, it's what you actually do.
- 51:13Speaker 1: Something like that. I don't know. It's really powerful. Great cast. Um,
- 51:25Speaker 1: all right, it's time for Texas's favorite segment. Everybody Dallas,
- 51:29Speaker 1: Texas Is favorite segment. Yell, it's time too, Bis. Yeah, Travis,
- 51:40Speaker 1: how can we fix your life? We're here to help
- 51:41Speaker 1: you that. My question was that, Um, ever since I
- 51:45Speaker 1: had a kid, I've noticed that like the relationship that
- 51:48Speaker 1: I've had that I have with my friends that don't
- 51:51Speaker 1: have kids has kind of changed, and you know, my
- 51:54Speaker 1: priorities have changed, and um, I've noticed that, you know,
- 51:58Speaker 1: it turns into tension and things like that. And I
- 52:01Speaker 1: was wondering how the two of you has y'all's relationship
- 52:07Speaker 1: changed since I guess as Donald had kids in the
- 52:10Speaker 1: entire time, or how do you guys navigate that with
- 52:12Speaker 1: Zach not having kids and Donald having kids? Favorite part
- 52:16Speaker 1: of the show there she is, Hi, guys were talking.
- 52:21Speaker 1: That's Travis and Casey Hi, And Travis was just asking
- 52:27Speaker 1: how we navigate our friendship when y'all have all these
- 52:30Speaker 1: kids and I have none? If how we how we
- 52:33Speaker 1: do it? Because I'm so free and don't have any
- 52:35Speaker 1: responsibilities in the children department, but y'all have like thirty
- 52:39Speaker 1: seven And he's from Dallas, Texas, so be extra nice
- 52:43Speaker 1: oh him? All right? Well, for just to give an
- 52:47Speaker 1: example of how out of touch Zach is with having kids.
- 52:52Speaker 1: We you know, we've been friends with Zach for I've
- 52:55Speaker 1: been friends with Zach for fifteen years and our oldest
- 52:58Speaker 1: is almost eight and two days ago was the first
- 53:02Speaker 1: time he's taken us to Disney. Let us go to
- 53:04Speaker 1: Disneyland with our kids. Yeah, yeah, um yeah, no, we know.
- 53:10Speaker 1: I think Zach's just kind of coming around now. You know.
- 53:14Speaker 1: I love your kids. When I'm with them, I'm play. Hey,
- 53:17Speaker 1: I get it. If I didn't have kids, I wouldn't
- 53:19Speaker 1: want to hang out with kids. Well, sometimes we go
- 53:21Speaker 1: to Disneyland and it's an adult trip to Disneyland. Jowell's nodding,
- 53:25Speaker 1: she knows, yes. And sometimes sometimes you bring the rug
- 53:28Speaker 1: Rats because they slow shit down. Yeah, legs. First time
- 53:32Speaker 1: we brought the rug Rats was two days ago. Um, yeah, no,
- 53:38Speaker 1: I think he's just kind of meeting us in the middle.
- 53:40Speaker 1: We're you know, we try. We like to have adult
- 53:43Speaker 1: time with Zach because you know that's it was like
- 53:46Speaker 1: that for so long. So Zach, I love you. Oh god,
- 53:57Speaker 1: he calmed down. We have a guest here. It's not appropriate.
- 53:59Speaker 1: I should charge people for that. Yeah, you're making a ringtone, duo?
- 54:02Speaker 1: Would you exactly love you a ring tone? You need
- 54:05Speaker 1: to be on cameo. No, we're not gonna be on cameo.
- 54:11Speaker 1: But you know, I think it's I think we have
- 54:13Speaker 1: to do just as much as Zach does, as far
- 54:15Speaker 1: as meeting in the middle, because I really I think
- 54:19Speaker 1: I'm very conscious of it. If it was up to Donald,
- 54:20Speaker 1: Donald would be like, well fuck it. If we can't
- 54:23Speaker 1: bring our kids, we're never going to go anywhere. And
- 54:25Speaker 1: I still I still like to go places without my
- 54:28Speaker 1: kids because I had such a fun life before kids,
- 54:32Speaker 1: as much as it is fun. But you guys, you know,
- 54:34Speaker 1: you were worried. We were having a barbecue and you
- 54:36Speaker 1: said should we bring the kids or not? And You're like,
- 54:37Speaker 1: they're going to be loud, and I was like, it's
- 54:39Speaker 1: a barbecue, have them swim. Who cares? And they had
- 54:41Speaker 1: an amazing time. Yeah. Well they're also older now. They're
- 54:44Speaker 1: at the age now of you know, understanding that Uncle
- 54:48Speaker 1: Zach gets really pissed off if you scream, So they know, no,
- 54:52Speaker 1: not pissed off. I just have a no screeching policy.
- 54:56Speaker 1: And Casey's like, Casey's like, I just decided if it
- 54:59Speaker 1: comes from uncle Zach, it might stick better than if
- 55:01Speaker 1: Mom is like, keep it down, keep it down. I
- 55:03Speaker 1: was like, guys, do whatever you want. There's no high
- 55:06Speaker 1: pitch screaming. Yeah. One of them, one of them actually
- 55:09Speaker 1: raised their voice in the pool, and Zach said Yo,
- 55:12Speaker 1: it's a little too loud. But don't you want it?
- 55:16Speaker 1: Don't you want to Uncle Zach to lay down some
- 55:18Speaker 1: Yeah exactly. My son looked at him with eyes like huge. Well,
- 55:22Speaker 1: because when it's from you guys, they're like roll their
- 55:24Speaker 1: eyes and they're screaming ten seconds later. But if Uncle
- 55:27Speaker 1: Zach lays down a rule, they might listen. Yeah. Yeah,
- 55:31Speaker 1: got real staccato with it. Yeah, no, screech it. He's like, hey,
- 55:35Speaker 1: shut your mouth. No, I didn't. I tone it downt
- 55:40Speaker 1: like that either. I said, tone it down. But I
- 55:44Speaker 1: have to say, you've given in. You've given in quite
- 55:46Speaker 1: a bit over the past two years. I would say, well,
- 55:49Speaker 1: you guys are a beautiful family, and I hope I
- 55:51Speaker 1: have kids. I really would love to have a children
- 55:53Speaker 1: one day. And it was nice I brought there's a
- 55:57Speaker 1: child from Cheaper by the Dozen who I really bonded with,
- 56:01Speaker 1: and um we brought him and his mom to Disneyland,
- 56:04Speaker 1: and it's I can see that I have this paternal
- 56:07Speaker 1: instinct in me to want to be a dad one day,
- 56:10Speaker 1: and I hope I'm I hope I'm as good a
- 56:12Speaker 1: parent as you are. One day, you too, You're going
- 56:15Speaker 1: to be great. I hope I am too. Well. How
- 56:17Speaker 1: old's your kid, Travis almost two? Okay, congratulate with your dad.
- 56:22Speaker 1: Do you do you put in the time? I put
- 56:24Speaker 1: in the time whenever I can't well. I mean, I'm
- 56:26Speaker 1: an antithesiologist, so I get the times that I am
- 56:30Speaker 1: home I'm a parent number one, and the weekends that
- 56:33Speaker 1: I'm not working. Yeah, I guess where he lives in Dallas. Oh,
- 56:37Speaker 1: I know I have to say this. I have to
- 56:39Speaker 1: say my kids. I don't know. I can't speak for
- 56:42Speaker 1: all kids, but my kids notice when he doesn't help me.
- 56:50Speaker 1: So they you know, he could buy them every gift
- 56:53Speaker 1: in the world, take them to Target every day, buy
- 56:55Speaker 1: them whatever, but they will still be like, but dad's lazy.
- 57:00Speaker 1: Oh but that dad didn't help you this morning. Dad.
- 57:04Speaker 1: So I think if you just you know, you know,
- 57:11Speaker 1: it was an issue and that I needed to step
- 57:13Speaker 1: up more. When my kid was like, yeah, but Dad,
- 57:15Speaker 1: you know you're lazy, I was like, what, Oh, that
- 57:24Speaker 1: must be hard when you're like, bro, I just paid
- 57:25Speaker 1: the mortgage. I just want you food exactly. I'm lying
- 57:28Speaker 1: down the couch for a second. But that's the thing,
- 57:30Speaker 1: like they can't they can't wrap their head around that
- 57:33Speaker 1: that doesn't make mean anything to them. What they see
- 57:35Speaker 1: is is someone sitting on the couch, you know, whether
- 57:39Speaker 1: he just got home from working all day or you know,
- 57:42Speaker 1: like you working all night whatever, coming home, sitting on
- 57:45Speaker 1: the couch. And if the wife is the one doing everything, dressing,
- 57:50Speaker 1: fixing the food, doing all this, even if you just
- 57:52Speaker 1: stand up and act like you're in there helping in
- 57:55Speaker 1: some way, they that's that's all it takes for them
- 57:58Speaker 1: to think, Yeah, my daughter, like I had worked a
- 58:01Speaker 1: long day yesterday and she just ran up and like
- 58:03Speaker 1: she just said no and shoved me and ran off.
- 58:05Speaker 1: To my heart, Yeah, it's just girls, all right, Casey,
- 58:10Speaker 1: we gotta finish the show. We love you because the
- 58:13Speaker 1: air conditioning guy needs to get up. Okay, okay, we're
- 58:17Speaker 1: air conditioning guy, Travis Um, You're welcome. We have one question. Travis.
- 58:25Speaker 1: You're an anisiologist, right, yes, I am. Now. I had
- 58:28Speaker 1: a hernia surgery many years ago, and I remember they
- 58:32Speaker 1: gave me something in the right before they took me in.
- 58:35Speaker 1: They gave me a shot of something that wasn't the
- 58:38Speaker 1: full anesthesia, but it was a little What was that,
- 58:41Speaker 1: Travis Verse said? Verse said Yeah, that made me really
- 58:47Speaker 1: really good. Yes, it comes requested by name very often. Okay, well,
- 58:53Speaker 1: I'm telling you, if you have to get surgery, asked
- 58:56Speaker 1: your anaseologist for some verse and you know what, I'm like,
- 58:59Speaker 1: graph is your fake doctor recommendation. Because for a second
- 59:04Speaker 1: I was like, Okay, if I ever go under again,
- 59:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna try and fight it. Yeah, I think that
- 59:12Speaker 1: I can all the time. Like I'm gonna stay awake
- 59:15Speaker 1: because I do what you can't. I'm undefeated. I'm gonna
- 59:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna try and fight it. I'm gonna stand out.
- 59:21Speaker 1: I'm gett as loud as I can. It's not gonna work.
- 59:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna just gritting your teeth. I'm more algist question
- 59:29Speaker 1: and I don't know this is probably as an nstologist,
- 59:31Speaker 1: but you'll know the answer. I'm told that after you
- 59:33Speaker 1: have a colonoscopy, m you still technically experienced it, but
- 59:38Speaker 1: then they give you a drug that wipes your memory
- 59:41Speaker 1: like men in Black of the experience. Is that true?
- 59:44Speaker 1: We're still I think we're still talking about verse said. Now,
- 59:47Speaker 1: I don't typically give people verse said for colonoscopies just
- 59:51Speaker 1: because it's a quick procedure and I want them to
- 59:53Speaker 1: be able to get up and get out of the hospital. So,
- 59:57Speaker 1: but no, there's no like men in black pen or
- 59:58Speaker 1: anything like that. I heard that. I heard something that
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: maybe maybe someone's making shit up, but like you really
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: do experience the full colonoscope and then but they give
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: you something after the men in blacks your memory. No, No,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: I mean there's some people that will like wake up.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: There's one portion where they're going around the band or
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: it gets real stimulating, and some people just stimulating, yeah,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: like cock or like they sit up. Like people ever
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: get directions? Oh my god, like ever, like from colonoscopies.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Really No, not from colonoscopies. Oh have you been in
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: surgery doing an st jo just and someone just randomly
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: got an direction? Yeah. I mean when they're they're like
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: putting fully cathters in, Yeah, they'll sometimes they will. Wow.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: That sounds like it hurts. It's more like uncomfortable than painful.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: I mean if they use if they use enough loube, Yeah,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: they use enough loube. Donald. Yeah, I mean look man, sorry, Donald, Okay,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: no Donald, Donald, have you had a colonoscope I've had
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: you have, Yes, yes, I have. I gotta have mine.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Get it done. I'm worried, get it done. I'm worried.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: I'm gonna break Travis. I'm worried. I'm gonna break Travis's
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: record and be the first one to get an direction. Boy,
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: get it done, bro, No, no joke, it's uh, it's
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: worth it's no, of course, and I'm we're joking. But
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: all you men out there, what's the age, Travis? We
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: can do a public service announcement. Yeah, they just change
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: it to forty. Now, if you have a strong family
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: history then yeah, that they'll bring in earlier, but it's
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: usually forty. All right, Well, now we're gonna switch to
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: a serious public servia announcement. Forty and above. You gotta
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: have a colonoscopy and make sure you do not have
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: any suspicious things on your colon, right, Travis, exactly. I
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: actually turned forty in a week, So thank you for
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: the reminder. I'm reminding you. Gosh, I'm a good fake doctor.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: I need to remind myself. I'm forty six. Get it done.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna get it done, all right. Um, I want
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: to quickly plug a couple of things. Um, don't forget
