- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with i R Radio. It's another week of the Almost
- 0:08Speaker 1: Famous podcast and Ben is here. Yeah, Ben's here. I'm
- 0:12Speaker 1: so happy we missed you. It was your birthday, well
- 0:16Speaker 1: you were gone. I thought it was your fake birthday
- 0:19Speaker 1: because the Internet says that you have an April birthday. Right. Yeah,
- 0:23Speaker 1: Like my birthday has been like wrong all of the place.
- 0:26Speaker 1: It's March. I'm thirty three years old. I was born
- 0:29Speaker 1: in nineteen eighty nine. I did celebrate it when I
- 0:32Speaker 1: was gone. And when is your fake birthday? Your internet birthday?
- 0:36Speaker 1: There's multiple. I think the Internet thinks I'm thirty four,
- 0:39Speaker 1: and I think it is in April. It's like April one,
- 0:43Speaker 1: but it's March nine, I promise you. Okay, all right,
- 0:47Speaker 1: he knows when he was born. So how was your
- 0:49Speaker 1: trip to Israel? We uh, you missed some big Bachelor days.
- 0:54Speaker 1: You know you left. You had seen the pre recorded finale,
- 0:59Speaker 1: but you didn't see the live thing where it just
- 1:01Speaker 1: turned on its butt. Yeah, it's wild. So let me
- 1:05Speaker 1: start with the Bachelor and then I'll go into my
- 1:07Speaker 1: trip real quick. So I was on a plane when
- 1:10Speaker 1: the finale was airing, So I was following it on
- 1:12Speaker 1: Twitter because I couldn't watch it on the plane. We
- 1:14Speaker 1: were flying um to munich uh and we connected there
- 1:17Speaker 1: and so I was following Twitter. I had no idea
- 1:20Speaker 1: what was going to happen. You know, Uh, Bachelor alum
- 1:24Speaker 1: had gone out and seen the final episode before it
- 1:28Speaker 1: aired and kind of hinting at, hey, this is crazy,
- 1:30Speaker 1: and I did the same thing because I watched it.
- 1:32Speaker 1: I was like, this is this is wild, Like this
- 1:34Speaker 1: has never been done. I think he's gonna end up alone.
- 1:38Speaker 1: But you saw that he apparently to you ended up alone,
- 1:41Speaker 1: or at least you probably assumed that he did, because
- 1:43Speaker 1: Susie had, from what you last saw, dumped him out
- 1:46Speaker 1: the altar exactly, and so then I found out there together,
- 1:50Speaker 1: which is shocking. Um, that's about all my thoughts because
- 1:53Speaker 1: I just saw on Twitter. Bet I texted. I was
- 1:56Speaker 1: like that, period, this is crazy. Susie is with Clayton.
- 2:00Speaker 1: That's crazy, And I mean, I don't know even what
- 2:02Speaker 1: to think about it, Like, good for them, I'm happy
- 2:04Speaker 1: for him. Uh, you know, we had Clayton on. He
- 2:07Speaker 1: was obviously very upset. I mean, I don't think he's
- 2:10Speaker 1: a bad dude. I wanted to see him happy. I
- 2:12Speaker 1: just thought, Oh, this isn't gonna go well for him.
- 2:13Speaker 1: It seems like it went okay, Like it doesn't seem
- 2:15Speaker 1: like it was the best thing ever. But he found
- 2:17Speaker 1: maybe love through it, and that's cool. Uh. And so
- 2:20Speaker 1: that was my thoughts because I was I was only
- 2:21Speaker 1: getting the Twitter updates and I was only getting text
- 2:24Speaker 1: from Ashley and so now, um, I'm callup to speed
- 2:27Speaker 1: and uh. And I would say, hey, I'm in the
- 2:29Speaker 1: camp of being a supporter of Susie and Clayton. If
- 2:31Speaker 1: they're happy together, That's where I stand. And the other
- 2:36Speaker 1: big thing was Gabby and Rachel are both bachelorettes. You
- 2:40Speaker 1: have firsthand experience being on a bachelorette at a season
- 2:45Speaker 1: that has two bachelorettes. How do you think that they're
- 2:49Speaker 1: going to deal with this differently? We already know right
- 2:51Speaker 1: off the bat that they're not going to be eliminating
- 2:53Speaker 1: a bachelorette, which is great. They just started filming this week.
- 2:57Speaker 1: So how do you feel they're going to spin it? Well,
- 3:00Speaker 1: I'm glad they're not eliminating somebody that was weird. I
- 3:03Speaker 1: also though, uh, in finding it hard to even imagine
- 3:07Speaker 1: how they're gonna do it if they don't eliminate somebody,
- 3:10Speaker 1: because it's gonna get messy, Like, are they doing group
- 3:13Speaker 1: dates with both bachelorrettes? Are guys choosing who they like more? Like?
- 3:16Speaker 1: That just feels like it puts a lot of weird
- 3:18Speaker 1: pressure on everyone. Yeah. I was saying that if the
- 3:24Speaker 1: guys get to pick who they want to go on
- 3:26Speaker 1: dates with, it's going to inevitably split the girls and
- 3:29Speaker 1: it's gonna make one feel really bad when the guys
- 3:32Speaker 1: want to go out with one more than the other. Yeah,
- 3:36Speaker 1: So I don't get it. I don't, but I'm not
- 3:38Speaker 1: mad at it. Like, they're both very likable, very good
- 3:43Speaker 1: for this role, and I'm so excited to see how
- 3:46Speaker 1: they navigate it, like to see how they do um
- 3:50Speaker 1: because I think they're both gonna go down as some
- 3:52Speaker 1: of the best bachelorettes we've ever had. I just don't
- 3:56Speaker 1: know how they're gonna do it together. I don't. I've
- 3:59Speaker 1: been saying in the podcast that you were in around
- 4:01Speaker 1: for that there's no way that the whole I love
- 4:05Speaker 1: you both, or I love all three of you isn't
- 4:07Speaker 1: going to come back around. Because now I feel like, Yeah,
- 4:11Speaker 1: these girls there's gonna be some guy who's torn between
- 4:14Speaker 1: the two of them, and then they're going to be
- 4:16Speaker 1: fighting over this guy. This is just how I see
- 4:18Speaker 1: it unfolding. Yeah, which is which is good TV. Sad again,
- 4:23Speaker 1: but also good t V. It's everything that's sad for
- 4:27Speaker 1: for them will be good TV for us, you know
- 4:29Speaker 1: what I mean. So we see and uh, we'll highlight
- 4:33Speaker 1: we get the list of the guys that are going
- 4:35Speaker 1: to be on the show supposedly today we'll just kind
- 4:37Speaker 1: of like point to two of them because later on
- 4:40Speaker 1: we'll do our normal like episode will rebreak down all
- 4:42Speaker 1: the guys. So that was my thoughts. Um, here's my
- 4:44Speaker 1: thoughts in Israel. Israel was an incredible trip. We went
- 4:47Speaker 1: with Denver Community Church. Um, it's a pilgrimage they do.
- 4:51Speaker 1: So it's two weeks long and it goes through the
- 4:53Speaker 1: desert kind of wraps around to all the places that
- 4:56Speaker 1: are within the Bible, from the Old Testament the New.
- 4:59Speaker 1: It felt like to me because we went with not
- 5:02Speaker 1: only the pastor of my church, but also somebody who
- 5:06Speaker 1: um is a historian. Uh, and so he has both
- 5:10Speaker 1: like um a bit like he believes in the Bible,
- 5:13Speaker 1: but he's He also has a lot of history based
- 5:16Speaker 1: into what he's saying, so it's not always as clear
- 5:18Speaker 1: cut as me what the Bible says, which I really like.
- 5:20Speaker 1: It felt like a clear cut It felt like two
- 5:22Speaker 1: weeks of a college course in religion, history, geography, UM
- 5:28Speaker 1: culture all slam in one. So it wasn't relaxing, but
- 5:31Speaker 1: it was really incredible And I don't fully know my
- 5:36Speaker 1: thoughts yet other than a few key points here one UM.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I learned a lot and I felt like for me personally,
- 5:44Speaker 1: just with my faith tradition and my faith practice, I
- 5:47Speaker 1: feel more understanding of it um. I think that's the word, like,
- 5:52Speaker 1: I just understand more than I did when I walked in.
- 5:55Speaker 1: I also was very surprised at how Israel Uh and
- 6:01Speaker 1: that area has kept up some of these ruins. So
- 6:03Speaker 1: seeing stuff that's five thousand years old blows my mind.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I have no concept of that here living in the
- 6:08Speaker 1: ur like stuff that's still standing from five thousand years ago.
- 6:13Speaker 1: And the final thing is what I learned a lot
- 6:15Speaker 1: about is Um, just the current situation and the political
- 6:20Speaker 1: situation within Israel with Um, the Palestinians and kind of
- 6:24Speaker 1: how they're treated and how they're pushed aside, and um,
- 6:28Speaker 1: how the country has it's such a prevalent and right
- 6:34Speaker 1: in front of you, UM thing. When you're there, you
- 6:38Speaker 1: see it all the time. You see cities that are
- 6:40Speaker 1: gated off and Palestinians can't come into Israel or they
- 6:43Speaker 1: can't fly out of Israel. And that is something that
- 6:46Speaker 1: I'm still processing. I think it's pretty clear how I
- 6:51Speaker 1: feel what's right and wrong, but I'm still processing, like
- 6:57Speaker 1: how they got to this point? Where did How does
- 6:59Speaker 1: it get better? How do we allow people to um
- 7:03Speaker 1: live in a place where they have freedoms and they
- 7:05Speaker 1: feel like they can thrive no matter who they are,
- 7:07Speaker 1: where they come from. I think that's a question a
- 7:09Speaker 1: lot of us ask here in the US right now.
- 7:11Speaker 1: And so that's still something that I'm sitting on, just
- 7:13Speaker 1: trying to think through. Okay, how does this get better? Um?
- 7:17Speaker 1: The trip was great and uh my parents and Jessicin
- 7:19Speaker 1: I had a great time together. I will say the
- 7:21Speaker 1: most relaxing part of the trip was the Sea of Galilee. Uh.
- 7:25Speaker 1: I didn't realize that the Sea Galley was also a
- 7:28Speaker 1: vacation spot for for many that people have like lake
- 7:30Speaker 1: homes on the Sea of Galley which was so weird. Um.
- 7:34Speaker 1: But we're back. Jet lag hasn't fully gone away, uh,
- 7:39Speaker 1: but we're getting better. I worked out today, so I'm
- 7:42Speaker 1: starting to feel more normal and I am excited to
- 7:45Speaker 1: be here. I felt when you're gone for too long,
- 7:47Speaker 1: you start to feel disconnected, and I don't love that feeling,
- 7:50Speaker 1: and so it is good to be back. Did you
- 7:52Speaker 1: go to Bethlehem? We did, Um, which is a Palestinian area, UM,
- 7:58Speaker 1: and so it's gay. I mean there's a all around it,
- 8:01Speaker 1: so you drive in, you have to go to a checkpoint.
- 8:03Speaker 1: We went to Bethlehem, UM to see uh one of
- 8:07Speaker 1: the old churches there that Helen Constantine's mother UM built.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I think it was like four four a d uh,
- 8:17Speaker 1: and it's still standing. And that's another part. It's like
- 8:20Speaker 1: you're going to places that millions upon millions of people
- 8:24Speaker 1: who are a part of Christianity or Judaism or Islam
- 8:29Speaker 1: have been to. Like these spots are places that so
- 8:32Speaker 1: many people who maybe don't believe all the same things,
- 8:35Speaker 1: but they're humans who have tried to exist in this
- 8:37Speaker 1: world in the best ways they know how have visited
- 8:40Speaker 1: and pilgrimaged to which is such a wild thing that
- 8:44Speaker 1: these places are still standing and you're touching things that
- 8:47Speaker 1: millions of people thousands of years ago had also touched. Yeah,
- 8:53Speaker 1: it's it's sacred in a lot of ways. Isn't that funny?
- 8:57Speaker 1: How fresh everything in America is? I mean I live
- 9:00Speaker 1: in the West. Yeah, we find we find like errorheads
- 9:05Speaker 1: and uh like stuff from the gold mines and we
- 9:07Speaker 1: freak out and that's like what two years ago? Maybe nothing. Yeah,
- 9:12Speaker 1: it's nothing like we can conceptualize that, you know, five
- 9:17Speaker 1: thousand years ago. Not so much. Well, I could go
- 9:19Speaker 1: on and on and talk about this trip. I really could.
- 9:21Speaker 1: There's so many things that I would I would want
- 9:24Speaker 1: to say and can say about it. Those are the
- 9:26Speaker 1: main points. But I do know. We have a big
- 9:28Speaker 1: podcast in front of us today. Actually, Uh, Bob Guinea
- 9:31Speaker 1: and Trista Cutter are coming on because they have a
- 9:33Speaker 1: new project that I think people are gonna be really
- 9:35Speaker 1: pumped about. Uh that it is going to be a
- 9:37Speaker 1: kind of a part of our almost famous family. They're
- 9:39Speaker 1: here right now to tell us more about it. Let's
- 9:41Speaker 1: take a break actually and bring them on to tell
- 9:44Speaker 1: us about their new podcast. As we promised, Trista Cutter
- 9:57Speaker 1: and Bob Guinea are here two of favorite people in
- 10:01Speaker 1: the world, but also they just happen to be on
- 10:03Speaker 1: the franchise. I have been personally able to spend time
- 10:06Speaker 1: with both of them, actually has as well. I have
- 10:09Speaker 1: great memories with both of them that I could speak to.
- 10:11Speaker 1: I'm so pumped that they're joining our family here and
- 10:15Speaker 1: expanding what we do on the Almost Famous podcast. So
- 10:20Speaker 1: I'll just throw it over to YouTube. You're hosting this thing,
- 10:23Speaker 1: tell us about it? Oh God, okay, okay, So we're
- 10:29Speaker 1: almost famous and they are, well what we're calling here
- 10:34Speaker 1: in a very self deprecating way, formally famous, and they're
- 10:40Speaker 1: going to be doing a podcast which is about the
- 10:44Speaker 1: the past Bachelor Bachelor at seasons when we are going
- 10:48Speaker 1: to remain staying the podcast of the current seasons. So
- 10:52Speaker 1: Trista Bob explain more like, are you going to be
- 10:55Speaker 1: watching your own seasons first and then like recapping them
- 10:58Speaker 1: in like cringing wall speaking about at all? You know,
- 11:04Speaker 1: I think is kind of cringing, is for sure. You know.
- 11:07Speaker 1: I think, um, this whole thing was sort of born
- 11:09Speaker 1: a little bit out of obviously. I mean, you guys
- 11:12Speaker 1: have had such success and I've been a guest on
- 11:14Speaker 1: your show a bunch and I still don't really even
- 11:16Speaker 1: know how to spell podcast, so there's that. Uh, But
- 11:20Speaker 1: it was really born from you know, Tristan. I always
- 11:22Speaker 1: get called on to do a lot of the same
- 11:25Speaker 1: television things where we talk about the days of yesteryear
- 11:29Speaker 1: and the you know, the O G seasons of the show,
- 11:32Speaker 1: and um, I think that was kind of in large part.
- 11:35Speaker 1: You know, we have so much fun doing those things together,
- 11:37Speaker 1: and it's always a blast recapping, you know, how things
- 11:41Speaker 1: were and all the experiences from then until now. And um,
- 11:45Speaker 1: you know, I I fancy it as my mother going
- 11:48Speaker 1: into the frozen food section of the Chicken and the
- 11:50Speaker 1: chicken department at the mall and somehow she's still you
- 11:53Speaker 1: know frozen the food sec frozen food section of the
- 12:03Speaker 1: I'll walk in there and no one recognizes me, and
- 12:06Speaker 1: it's kind of funny. So that started this whole conversation.
- 12:09Speaker 1: And I love hanging out with Trista, and I think
- 12:12Speaker 1: it's going to be a little bit of like the
- 12:13Speaker 1: you know, from the Bachelor Mansion to the Suburbs Conversation
- 12:15Speaker 1: to Right Team. So yeah, Bob and I just did
- 12:18Speaker 1: we did um an interview the other day, and um,
- 12:22Speaker 1: We were texting afterwards, going we should do something together.
- 12:25Speaker 1: We have a great relationship and have for obviously almost
- 12:27Speaker 1: twenty years. You guys, yes, it's crazy. So um, you know,
- 12:39Speaker 1: since you guys kind of go off season and obviously
- 12:42Speaker 1: have some other things to focus on in your life
- 12:45Speaker 1: right now, we figured we'd help out if we could,
- 12:49Speaker 1: and why not talk about the olden days? We'll fill
- 12:53Speaker 1: the gap. So are we going to watch your season's first?
- 12:58Speaker 1: Are we going to do season at a time? You're
- 13:00Speaker 1: gonna want? You're gonna binge a season and then come
- 13:02Speaker 1: and talk about it, um, episode by episode. I think honestly,
- 13:07Speaker 1: we're kind of throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing
- 13:09Speaker 1: what sticks, and uh, we'll watch, you know, an episode here,
- 13:16Speaker 1: an episode there. We would love to have people call
- 13:19Speaker 1: in and ask questions. Um, you know, I can talk
- 13:23Speaker 1: to my experience with Ryan and how we've been successful,
- 13:26Speaker 1: and Bob can talk about his experience of not being
- 13:28Speaker 1: successful and I'm a success now. It just took me
- 13:33Speaker 1: a long time. He has success now. Of course with
- 13:38Speaker 1: two there are times a charm, right, Yeah, We're not
- 13:42Speaker 1: sure so I you know, honestly, I think we're here
- 13:47Speaker 1: to do whatever with anyone from the past who wants
- 13:50Speaker 1: to come on and share some time with us. Well,
- 13:53Speaker 1: I do think it's going to be great because one
- 13:56Speaker 1: of the questions that we get asked all the time
- 13:59Speaker 1: is how is this showed different now than it was
- 14:01Speaker 1: when you went on, And so the thread line to
- 14:05Speaker 1: draw that comparison, to tell the old stories, to bring
- 14:08Speaker 1: on people in the progression of what it was like
- 14:10Speaker 1: when you were on, and bringing the progression to what
- 14:12Speaker 1: it's like now. I think it's gonna be really interesting
- 14:15Speaker 1: for so many loyal fans who have been a part
- 14:17Speaker 1: of this franchise, for you know, some of them all
- 14:20Speaker 1: their lives are all their at least adult lives. Yeah,
- 14:24Speaker 1: I agree. I think it's gonna be really interesting. I mean,
- 14:25Speaker 1: it's so different from winterest than I did it to
- 14:28Speaker 1: when the two of you were on the show as well.
- 14:29Speaker 1: I mean, it's just remarkable how things have changed, but
- 14:32Speaker 1: oddly how they stayed the same. I feel like there
- 14:42Speaker 1: are a lot of people who are watching now who
- 14:45Speaker 1: were like babies when we were on and they don't
- 14:48Speaker 1: really understand where it all started. So I think it'll
- 14:52Speaker 1: be interesting for for everybody. I mean, if you're a
- 14:56Speaker 1: bachelor fan, then I would assume you wouldn't You want
- 15:00Speaker 1: to know like how it all started, and that's here
- 15:03Speaker 1: for yeah, and you know, like I also like the
- 15:07Speaker 1: I like the element too of I want to hear
- 15:09Speaker 1: about Trista's a day in the life of Trista, you know,
- 15:11Speaker 1: I want to know what Trista Sutter is doing. Know
- 15:13Speaker 1: where does she go? What is she doing? And actually
- 15:16Speaker 1: leave the spot behind you. Yeah, the morning hair and
- 15:20Speaker 1: makeup is there? Then? Oh yeah, hair and makeup meaning
- 15:24Speaker 1: my finger and yes, I'll tell you all of it. Bob,
- 15:33Speaker 1: It's just so glamorous. I can't think of two better
- 15:38Speaker 1: people to do this with. Uh, this is gonna be awesome.
- 15:41Speaker 1: You both have played a role in my story. Uh
- 15:45Speaker 1: from you know, when I was announced as the bachelor.
- 15:48Speaker 1: I saw Trista randomly at a breakfast spot like a
- 15:51Speaker 1: week later, and she said, hey, good luck and kind
- 15:54Speaker 1: of sent me out into the wild. And then Bob,
- 15:56Speaker 1: you and I were able to do this Today show
- 15:57Speaker 1: for you know, two years together. Uh and do the
- 16:00Speaker 1: panel uh. And uh, you know, it's sad I'm no
- 16:03Speaker 1: longer doing that. I don't know if it exists anymore,
- 16:05Speaker 1: but if it does, I I got I got the
- 16:08Speaker 1: the ax, um, I got cut but UM, you know
- 16:12Speaker 1: it's uh. You both are incredible voices, a lot of insight,
- 16:15Speaker 1: both very funny. So we're pumped to have you a
- 16:18Speaker 1: part of this and UH and I cannot wait for
- 16:20Speaker 1: people to tune in and listen UH to formally famous.
- 16:23Speaker 1: It's going to be a great podcast. Thank you, buddy,
- 16:26Speaker 1: Thank you so much for helping us launch it. And
- 16:28Speaker 1: we're letting us be a part of your already incredible brand.
- 16:32Speaker 1: So we're glad to be on on your coattails. Guys.
- 16:36Speaker 1: We'll be listening. We'll see you soon, all right, take
- 16:40Speaker 1: care you guys. So, as promised most people did in
- 16:46Speaker 1: the US, you could find it if you're a fan.
- 16:48Speaker 1: We got the list of a lot of the guys
- 16:51Speaker 1: that are supposedly on this next season of The Bachelor
- 16:53Speaker 1: at with both Bachelor at UH. It's a long list. Obviously.
- 16:58Speaker 1: We do have our special episode that we all ease
- 17:00Speaker 1: do when we run through the guys in detail and
- 17:02Speaker 1: we kind of go through each of them, tell where
- 17:04Speaker 1: they're from, what they do for living, we judge them
- 17:05Speaker 1: critically and it's never right and always a lot of fun.
- 17:09Speaker 1: We'll do that we'll do that for you, but for
- 17:13Speaker 1: this for today, let's just give her overall opinions. Actually,
- 17:17Speaker 1: you've seen the list of guys, does any of them
- 17:19Speaker 1: like jump out at you? Um? And then also, what's
- 17:22Speaker 1: your overall thoughts on this group? Okay, the overall thoughts
- 17:26Speaker 1: are that they're way too young. I thought the same thing.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Most people are complaining about that. That's like the general
- 17:32Speaker 1: consensus online because Gabby's thirty one, and let's see Grachel, Uh,
- 17:40Speaker 1: she's twenty six. But it just looked a little bit.
- 17:44Speaker 1: They look a little bit more gauged for her because
- 17:47Speaker 1: most of these guys are in their twenties. And yeah,
- 17:51Speaker 1: if we want to make fun of them or like
- 17:52Speaker 1: do first impressions? Number one first impression is Ryan M
- 17:57Speaker 1: from Boston, who is thirty five, looks exactly like Clayton.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Maybe if Clayton met crystals, it looks exactly like Clayton.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I think that's one of the takeaways. Look up Ryan
- 18:09Speaker 1: M from Boston, Ashley your spot on there. I would
- 18:12Speaker 1: say my first opinion is, yeah, they're a little young now. Uh,
- 18:16Speaker 1: I think I think they can go, you know, get
- 18:20Speaker 1: in bad. I don't know what Gabby's looking for necessarily,
- 18:23Speaker 1: but it would have been nice to see a few
- 18:25Speaker 1: guys uh that kind of reach that thirty five year
- 18:28Speaker 1: old range. There's you know, maybe four of them that
- 18:31Speaker 1: I'm kind of scrolling through and seeing. It's a good
- 18:34Speaker 1: looking group. Uh, it's a group with Uh it seems
- 18:39Speaker 1: like a lot of personality. It looks like there's twins
- 18:41Speaker 1: on here. Is there twins? I don't know. I was
- 18:46Speaker 1: distracted by the thought of when it comes to the Bachelor,
- 18:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna say it's it's a little cruel. But when
- 18:53Speaker 1: it comes to the Bachelor these days, the girls are
- 18:56Speaker 1: like so pretty, right, so beautiful, and that's how it's
- 19:01Speaker 1: always been. But when you look at Bachelor, at the
- 19:04Speaker 1: girl and I know this is super vain, but it's
- 19:06Speaker 1: like then you look at the pictures that the that
- 19:08Speaker 1: the girls get of the guys, and you're like, uh,
- 19:12Speaker 1: I could find this at my local bar. Yeah, but horrible, No,
- 19:20Speaker 1: you have You're not horrible, and I mean you're it's
- 19:23Speaker 1: definitely your opinion. I would just say, Ashley, I remember
- 19:28Speaker 1: very distinctly that Hannah Brown season. We looked at the
- 19:32Speaker 1: guys were like, this is not good, Like none of
- 19:34Speaker 1: these guys and their pictures at all seem like they're
- 19:39Speaker 1: there standouts. And then you know, obviously for Tyler Cameron,
- 19:43Speaker 1: but even holy crap, no, we were like that guy's hot. Well,
- 19:47Speaker 1: maybe I forget, but I think I remember being like
- 19:50Speaker 1: that one's the only real hot one. Good, I'm good
- 19:52Speaker 1: for you. And then can you name anybody else from
- 19:55Speaker 1: that season besides Peter, I mean, Connor Saley seemed to
- 19:59Speaker 1: do all right from Okay, okay, yeah, So, I mean
- 20:03Speaker 1: you never know. Their personalities will shine people. It's a
- 20:06Speaker 1: great thing as you get older, you realize that the
- 20:08Speaker 1: most attractive people can become very unattractive once you get
- 20:11Speaker 1: to know them, and people that you don't find attractive
- 20:13Speaker 1: physically can become very attractive once you get to know
- 20:16Speaker 1: the personalities. And so so true, Ben so true. But
- 20:19Speaker 1: then look at Caitlin season the best of both worlds there,
- 20:22Speaker 1: You guys are just nation of beauty inside and out.
- 20:25Speaker 1: You're so biased, all right, No, I'm not. I think
- 20:28Speaker 1: it's the general consensus, you guys. You guys, I did
- 20:30Speaker 1: that poll a couple months ago, and Caitlin's one with
- 20:35Speaker 1: flying colors. Well, uh, that's very nice, and I hope
- 20:40Speaker 1: I would be grouped up into why the vote was
- 20:42Speaker 1: a positive vote? UM, but I know Jared was included
- 20:46Speaker 1: in that, but you're also very very much included in that.
- 20:50Speaker 1: At the top of my brain, you're the best ash.
- 20:52Speaker 1: You always made me feel better. I I am excited
- 20:55Speaker 1: for this season. I think these bachelorettes are gonna shine.
- 20:59Speaker 1: I hope people to tune in to watch them. I
- 21:01Speaker 1: think that's gonna be something that the show has a
- 21:03Speaker 1: hard time doing now is can you bring back viewership? Uh?
- 21:07Speaker 1: If they ever can, it's this time, it's with two bachelorettes.
- 21:10Speaker 1: I think it's I think it's a good opportunity. So
- 21:12Speaker 1: I hope this cast is full of personality, UM, full
- 21:15Speaker 1: of incredible things and uh, and I'm hoping some of
- 21:18Speaker 1: these guys do shine because it would make for a
- 21:20Speaker 1: complete season. I know we're gonna have good leads, but
- 21:23Speaker 1: it's always the question is can we have good cast members? So,
- 21:28Speaker 1: as we mentioned, we'll break down the guys in a
- 21:30Speaker 1: ton of detail here coming up in the next couple
- 21:32Speaker 1: of weeks or next of all months, because this isn't
- 21:35Speaker 1: air until July. UM. But until then, we do have
- 21:38Speaker 1: a lot to talk about that's going on in Bachelor
- 21:41Speaker 1: Nation a ton going on, So Ashley, let's take a break.
- 21:45Speaker 1: We come back. We have some bachelor headlines to break
- 21:47Speaker 1: down with you. Hey friends, A surprise self care package
- 21:56Speaker 1: of beauty goodies landed at my door. I'm used to
- 22:00Speaker 1: beauty good easy landing at the door and I'm a
- 22:03Speaker 1: huge fan of these, and so is my wife. In
- 22:05Speaker 1: the day, I'm opening it with you. I also have
- 22:09Speaker 1: a box here that I'm about to open. It's from
- 22:12Speaker 1: los Eton and you probably know them because they have
- 22:15Speaker 1: an iconic hand cream in this silver tube. But there's
- 22:18Speaker 1: a lot more here. And today we have Julianna, an
- 22:21Speaker 1: ambassador from lox Eton, and she's going to lead us
- 22:24Speaker 1: through this box. Hi, Julianna, tell us about your journey
- 22:27Speaker 1: with lox Eton and all about these skincare products. Well,
- 22:30Speaker 1: thank you for having me. I'm happy to be sharing
- 22:32Speaker 1: some of these items with you, and kind of like you,
- 22:34Speaker 1: I've always known the label. I've actually used some of
- 22:37Speaker 1: the products for like ten years now, but as I
- 22:39Speaker 1: got to know los Eton as the company, I realized
- 22:42Speaker 1: there's so much more to the brand. We of course
- 22:44Speaker 1: have an extensive line of skin and body care products,
- 22:48Speaker 1: but what I love about them is they're all using
- 22:50Speaker 1: sustainably sourced ingredients right from the beginning. We go from
- 22:53Speaker 1: farm to the lab to your skin at home, and
- 22:56Speaker 1: we use high quality natural ingredients so you can feel
- 22:59Speaker 1: good about using this stuff on your skin, your face,
- 23:02Speaker 1: your hands. And I brought a few of my favorites
- 23:05Speaker 1: to share with you. Can't wait, all right, So I
- 23:08Speaker 1: have the box in front of me as well. Ashley
- 23:10Speaker 1: does also, so walk us through what we're looking at.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Let's start with the face. Our number one serum that
- 23:16Speaker 1: we have is actually called the Reset Oil and Serum,
- 23:19Speaker 1: and we call it Reset because it is like the
- 23:21Speaker 1: overnight time machine. That's what Marie Clear actually calls it,
- 23:25Speaker 1: because it revitalizes your skin overnight. Actually, I know you
- 23:28Speaker 1: just had a baby, so did I. We're not getting
- 23:31Speaker 1: eight hours of sleep at night and sometimes that shows
- 23:34Speaker 1: on our skin. So this uses natural ingredients to awaken
- 23:37Speaker 1: your skin and really work on those fine lines and
- 23:40Speaker 1: wrinkles that no one wants to deal with. Okay, So
- 23:43Speaker 1: I'll be using that tonight. And the easy part about this,
- 23:47Speaker 1: it really is easy enough for everyone. It's at simple skincare.
- 23:50Speaker 1: This you apply it once at night right after you
- 23:52Speaker 1: wash your face, dry your face, you put on the
- 23:55Speaker 1: serum and then you put on your moisturizer and that's it.
- 23:57Speaker 1: And then after about a month you'll see the major
- 24:00Speaker 1: changes in your skin. And it includes some natural ingredients
- 24:04Speaker 1: that are iconic within Losyton brand. If you don't know
- 24:06Speaker 1: our anti aging line, we use Immortel essential oil and
- 24:11Speaker 1: that flower from the island of Corsica in the south
- 24:14Speaker 1: of France, if you want to get fancy, is known
- 24:16Speaker 1: as the flower that never wilter faces. I'm just showing
- 24:18Speaker 1: you guys to give you that visual has been like
- 24:22Speaker 1: cut off from the plant for years now. Really yeah,
- 24:27Speaker 1: it never wilt. So it's kind of like this fountain
- 24:30Speaker 1: of youth that we found at last I know, right,
- 24:34Speaker 1: and it's so easy to use, but it has natural
- 24:36Speaker 1: anti aging molecules, really rich and antioxidants, and that oil
- 24:41Speaker 1: is actually in a serum of Achmela, which is nature's botox, Hello,
- 24:45Speaker 1: and Marjoram which brightens the complexion. This is the actual
- 24:48Speaker 1: sound of me opening the box. Can't get it open
- 24:52Speaker 1: fast enough. Yes, So we have the face serum and
- 24:56Speaker 1: we actually also have an i serum that targets that
- 25:00Speaker 1: really delicate area under your eyes. So if you have
- 25:03Speaker 1: some puffiness you, like I said, nobody is getting eight
- 25:06Speaker 1: hours of sleep right now, no matter what you're doing.
- 25:09Speaker 1: And you want to reawaken the skin under your eyes
- 25:12Speaker 1: as well. So this has that in more telecential oil
- 25:15Speaker 1: to work on anti aging fine lines and wrinkles, that
- 25:18Speaker 1: Achmela alerrisia to smooth the fine lines and wrinkles, and
- 25:22Speaker 1: then that Marjorom extract which also brightens the skin. And
- 25:26Speaker 1: what about body products? Anything good there? We have so
- 25:29Speaker 1: many good things here and a lot of our body
- 25:32Speaker 1: products have shade butter. So locks Eton you can't really
- 25:35Speaker 1: talk about locks Eton without talking about our iconic shade butter.
- 25:40Speaker 1: And what's so cool about shade butter is it's kind
- 25:43Speaker 1: of this amazing natural beautifying product. Um. It's nature's ultimate
- 25:48Speaker 1: beauty bomb. So if you have dry skin, maybe you
- 25:50Speaker 1: have dehydrated skin, your skin can't hold onto hydration. Shade
- 25:55Speaker 1: butter is not going to break down in water easily.
- 25:57Speaker 1: So you'll add this amazing layer on to your skin,
- 26:00Speaker 1: almost like a shay shield to fight natural aggressors. Um.
- 26:04Speaker 1: And as we're washing our hands constantly, especially, this is
- 26:07Speaker 1: really going to protect nourish and repair your skin long term.
- 26:11Speaker 1: This stuff is absolutely incredible. I love learning about it. Um.
- 26:15Speaker 1: It's been about a big part of my life the
- 26:17Speaker 1: last few years since I got married and met my wife.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Now she's an esthetician, so she's all about the skin.
- 26:23Speaker 1: So thank you for sharing with us, Juliana. This means
- 26:25Speaker 1: so much to us. Oh, I'm so glad you use it.
- 26:29Speaker 1: You are following the right path because these are ingredients
- 26:32Speaker 1: that are universal for everyone. So I hope you enjoy
- 26:35Speaker 1: and I can't wait to hear how your skin feels.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Thank you so much. I am so excited to dig
- 26:41Speaker 1: into these products that you know, we haven't been as
- 26:43Speaker 1: familiar with as the handgream, and we will be reporting
- 26:46Speaker 1: back on how you know we look because of it
- 26:49Speaker 1: in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, guys, listeners,
- 26:53Speaker 1: we want you to explore all the skin care goodness
- 26:55Speaker 1: that lock c Eton has to offer. So choose one
- 26:59Speaker 1: or more of their produc and let us know which
- 27:01Speaker 1: one that you like best. So go to lock eaton
- 27:03Speaker 1: dot com. This is how you spell it. I know
- 27:05Speaker 1: it's it's pretty intense. L O C C I T
- 27:09Speaker 1: A n E. That is lock eton dot com. Ben
- 27:16Speaker 1: before we break down Bachelor headlines. I'm not sure who
- 27:20Speaker 1: I was talking to, but why didn't they just start
- 27:23Speaker 1: feeling Paradise now, air that in the summer and then
- 27:28Speaker 1: go into the Bachelorette because we have a Bachelorette season,
- 27:32Speaker 1: Michelle and Clayton season to go off of for Paradise.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Are we are they doing Paradise? Paradise is the ultimate
- 27:40Speaker 1: summer show. It's gonna be weird for watching it in
- 27:42Speaker 1: the fall. I don't. I mean, the rumors have been
- 27:45Speaker 1: a Paradise isn't come back. That doesn't make any sense
- 27:48Speaker 1: because everybody gets some way more excited for Paradise than
- 27:51Speaker 1: anything else. But the ratings were down even below the
- 27:54Speaker 1: Bachelor's this year. They were they were below the Clayton season,
- 27:58Speaker 1: I believe, so you have to fact they're always below
- 28:02Speaker 1: the main seasons. It just seems that the fandom loves
- 28:06Speaker 1: it harder, even though I guess it's very Loyalship is lower. Yeah,
- 28:10Speaker 1: it's a very loyal following and it is a summer show,
- 28:12Speaker 1: so you'd expect viewership to be lower. That's kind of
- 28:14Speaker 1: what the summer is all about. People aren't watching TV.
- 28:16Speaker 1: They're out later the sun is brighter, you know, later
- 28:19Speaker 1: in the day, so they don't sit in inside and
- 28:21Speaker 1: watch TV. I don't know if we yet, and we'll
- 28:24Speaker 1: look into it, so next week we can talk about
- 28:26Speaker 1: I don't know if we can convince. I don't know
- 28:27Speaker 1: if we can be convinced that it's coming back. And
- 28:29Speaker 1: I think this airing in July does make us wonder, uh,
- 28:35Speaker 1: if things are changing, which would be really sad. I
- 28:37Speaker 1: would not love that, um, but I wonder if things
- 28:40Speaker 1: are changing. Yeah, I don't know. Maybe you're right, what
- 28:45Speaker 1: are you gonna do? Alright, alright, let's go into bachelor headlines.
- 28:48Speaker 1: Here we go. First headline of the day. Daniel Ratcliffe,
- 28:52Speaker 1: you know him as Harry Potter, says he un ironically
- 28:55Speaker 1: watches Love Is Blind and The Bachelor with his girlfriend
- 29:00Speaker 1: Okay love the fact that he says that he doesn't
- 29:03Speaker 1: believe in guilty pleasures. That's how he started the conversation off,
- 29:07Speaker 1: which I totally agree with. You shouldn't feel guilty about
- 29:10Speaker 1: any of your pleasures. He says that he has referred
- 29:17Speaker 1: to his love for reality TV. He said that he
- 29:20Speaker 1: would have in the past referred to his love for
- 29:22Speaker 1: reality TV as a guilty pleasure. But now he just
- 29:25Speaker 1: admits that he on ironically enjoys it. And he says
- 29:30Speaker 1: that the most the most recent season to The Bachelor,
- 29:34Speaker 1: he did not watch, but he heard that it was
- 29:37Speaker 1: quote mental the end. Anyway, it's pretty crazy that he
- 29:43Speaker 1: watches it. We're glad he does he watched our season.
- 29:46Speaker 1: I guess he could have been filming Harry Potter back
- 29:49Speaker 1: then too. Well. Hey, next headline is Kitty Thurston and
- 29:52Speaker 1: John Hersey celebrate one year anniversary of meeting on the
- 29:56Speaker 1: Bachelor at they're still together yep uh. And their Instagram posts,
- 30:02Speaker 1: the one that Katie Postage says, it is mind boggling
- 30:05Speaker 1: to think has been exactly one one year since this evening.
- 30:09Speaker 1: And then he said, you know there's a picture obviously
- 30:12Speaker 1: of you know, her first night of the Bachelor, right
- 30:15Speaker 1: and he said, contrary to what Katie Thurston says, I
- 30:19Speaker 1: absolutely believed I could be right here in this moment,
- 30:24Speaker 1: which is really funny. Um. And then he said, sorry
- 30:28Speaker 1: to all the fans whose Bachelor brackets we left up there.
- 30:33Speaker 1: You go, that's good, that's good. I hope the Bachelor
- 30:36Speaker 1: brackets need to extend a year with points because things
- 30:39Speaker 1: have changed, Like, I don't know, dude, and I love
- 30:41Speaker 1: that makes total sense, but I get where you're going
- 30:43Speaker 1: with the Yeah, there you go again. I want to
- 30:45Speaker 1: quote um that I was a big John Hersey fan
- 30:47Speaker 1: when he's on the show. I thought he had a
- 30:48Speaker 1: chance and here she goes eliminates him early. So, UM,
- 30:52Speaker 1: call me a bachelor expert. I don't know. Hey. Next
- 30:54Speaker 1: headline is one the people have been curious about. Cassie
- 30:57Speaker 1: Randolph shares how she found out that her ex, Colton
- 31:00Speaker 1: Underwood was gay. So she was on Caitlin's podcast. And
- 31:05Speaker 1: if you guys remember, we had Colton on our podcast
- 31:08Speaker 1: a couple of weeks ago, and I asked him, I said,
- 31:11Speaker 1: was there any reason why you didn't tell Cassie before
- 31:15Speaker 1: going on g M A and announcing that you were
- 31:17Speaker 1: gay earlier? Right? Why didn't you tell her earlier before
- 31:22Speaker 1: all of America found out? And he said that there
- 31:24Speaker 1: was like a legality reason. And this is what she
- 31:27Speaker 1: said on Caitlin's podcast. She said, I found out the
- 31:31Speaker 1: same way everybody else did. I was actually in Mexico
- 31:35Speaker 1: on vacation with my friends, which was which was great
- 31:38Speaker 1: to be away, but yeah, I found out through snapchat
- 31:42Speaker 1: on g m A. It was horrible. It was just
- 31:45Speaker 1: a kind of just a shocking kind of thing. I
- 31:49Speaker 1: guess I did kind of. Um. She said, like, okay,
- 31:53Speaker 1: so that's all she said about that. And then she
- 31:55Speaker 1: said about taking a step back in the Bachelor world
- 31:58Speaker 1: because you know, she's not super involved anymore, which was
- 32:00Speaker 1: kind of shocking to see. Here on the finale, she said,
- 32:02Speaker 1: I guess I did kind of take a step back
- 32:04Speaker 1: from doing things for a while last year because I
- 32:07Speaker 1: needed a little break from everything. So maybe that's why
- 32:10Speaker 1: people were shocked. Um. And she just said that, um,
- 32:16Speaker 1: she didn't want, you know, everything to be out there
- 32:18Speaker 1: in her face and that she needed a healthy break
- 32:21Speaker 1: from the franchise. That's fair, that's fair well. Bachelor Nations.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Jojo Fletcher celebrates her Bachelorrette party with Becca Tilly and
- 32:29Speaker 1: more before Jordan Rogers wedding. I believe they're getting married
- 32:33Speaker 1: in May in California. I think. I don't think I'm
- 32:38Speaker 1: revealing anything here. Um. And then they were in Mexico, yes,
- 32:43Speaker 1: this weekend or like for four nights. Becca on her
- 32:46Speaker 1: did their funny thing where they dressed up like boys.
- 32:49Speaker 1: They love doing that. It's like their Halloween stick. Uh,
- 32:54Speaker 1: and they brought it to her bachelorette party. But pretty
- 32:56Speaker 1: much it was just a weekend. Based on what I've
- 32:59Speaker 1: seen on in Pagram of them looking stunning and enjoying
- 33:02Speaker 1: lots of champagne toasts, it looks really fun. They look
- 33:07Speaker 1: they having a blast and um, they always know had
- 33:09Speaker 1: a god have a good time. That's ah, this is
- 33:11Speaker 1: a really fun group of people. Well Bachelor Nations Anna
- 33:14Speaker 1: Redman and Kris Bukowski hard Launch. That is in quotes
- 33:18Speaker 1: according to people their relationship on Instagram. Yeah, so if
- 33:24Speaker 1: you guys saw over the weekend Anna from Matt James
- 33:28Speaker 1: this season, and you know, the beloved Kriskowski he's still around.
- 33:33Speaker 1: It's wild that he's still here. He's still you know,
- 33:36Speaker 1: he's dating somebody in the franchise. Has got to keep
- 33:38Speaker 1: it in the family. Uh Yeah, hard Launch a k
- 33:41Speaker 1: like them going public with their relationship. She's twenty five,
- 33:45Speaker 1: he's thirty five. They were on vacation together. Um. And
- 33:49Speaker 1: then Chelsea von you know who she knows obviously from
- 33:52Speaker 1: her Bachelor's season, Uh said this is the moment, the
- 33:56Speaker 1: moment we've all been waiting for. And then another one,
- 34:00Speaker 1: Clay Harbor. He joked, damn, the filming Bachelor in Paradise already.
- 34:05Speaker 1: So I'm very happy for them. That's awesome. I wonder
- 34:07Speaker 1: how they connected. Who slipped into whose d M is
- 34:09Speaker 1: basically right, Yeah, that's the question of the day. Uh,
- 34:13Speaker 1: you know, obviously transitioning time and Tasia Adams life. The
- 34:18Speaker 1: headline is this, Tassia Adams is ready for her next
- 34:20Speaker 1: chapter after co hosting second season of The Bachelorette. I
- 34:24Speaker 1: believe they have announced that Jesse Palmer will be the
- 34:27Speaker 1: Bachelorette host since you know, filming has begun and he
- 34:30Speaker 1: is there with those two bachelorettes right now. But she
- 34:34Speaker 1: is transitioning into her you know, second season of life,
- 34:36Speaker 1: which hey, we all do. Yeah. So Tasias on The
- 34:40Speaker 1: Drew Barrymore Show on Thursday and she says, I have
- 34:44Speaker 1: to say at least that time really served me. It's
- 34:47Speaker 1: taken up a lot of me time for the last
- 34:49Speaker 1: four years. Can you believe we've known Tasia for the
- 34:51Speaker 1: past four years. She says she's ready to do the
- 34:54Speaker 1: next thing. Um. She also she was asked about coming
- 35:00Speaker 1: back to another dating competition show in the future, and
- 35:04Speaker 1: she says it's a pause h on whether I guess
