- 0:12come out here every. Day to record a podcast.
- 0:15To teach distinctions, possibilities, new ways of
- 0:18thinking, and just bring some joy.
- 0:20Into the world, so welcome to the.
- 0:22Coop and let's start your day off in a fantastic way.
- 0:28Hey everybody, good morning. So let's talk about a project
- 0:32that I am going to put a challenge out there today for
- 0:36everybody to do because I have to tell you, when I do this
- 0:39stuff for myself, I love it how it shows up.
- 0:42So this is about having something thrive so that you can
- 0:48feel filled up. Now I get the pleasure of doing
- 0:51this a lot because I coach a lot and I have a lot of clients.
- 0:55And because I have a lot of clients, I get to watch each one
- 0:59of them thriving in one way or another.
- 1:02I get to watch them walk through the fire swamp.
- 1:05I see their challenges. I help them figure it out and
- 1:09get them on track so that they are thriving.
- 1:13And that is a gift to me. When people say, I don't know
- 1:16how you handle all of us, I don't know how you put up with
- 1:18all of our crazy. It's just wiring myself to
- 1:23think, jeez, you know, the best part of this whole thing is I
- 1:27get to watch these people thrive.
- 1:28I get to watch them grow. I get to see them when I get the
- 1:32text messages that say magic, and then I get somebody that
- 1:37says, thank you so much. I you, I did exactly what you
- 1:41said and boom, it worked. And I those, those things just,
- 1:46and it's not an ego thing for me.
- 1:48It's about watching them execute something that's a different
- 1:51idea. And then they're thriving.
- 1:53They get their result and I go, oh, that's so awesome.
- 1:57And I just, I get so excited for them in that moment because I
- 2:01know, jeez, that is truly magic. So the point is, the exercise
- 2:08for today is figuring out what out there you can do.
- 2:12What can you do? What can you pick that you can
- 2:15help make it thrive. Now, I don't just do this with
- 2:18humans. I do this with plants.
- 2:20I do this with animals. I pretty much do this anywhere I
- 2:23go. I love to do this.
- 2:26The chickens that you know, you name it, I'm out there figuring
- 2:29it out because it's important to my soul.
- 2:32But it's also extremely just fulfilling and it engulfs you.
- 2:38It helps you get excited. It puts your emotion in a much,
- 2:42much bigger, better place. So when you decide that you want
- 2:45to do it, it, it not only helps the person or whatever you're
- 2:49doing, it helps everything else around it.
- 2:53So for me, I look at this as such a, a gift from the
- 2:57universe, a gift from God, that when we choose to put our focus,
- 3:01we often hear about if you are sad, you are depressed, you are
- 3:05anxious, go give to someone else and all of a sudden you're going
- 3:09to feel so much better. I can't stress it enough.
- 3:13It's why I take eggs to the fire department all the time.
- 3:16I love opening that door and seeing those guys smile when I
- 3:20hand them 15 dozen eggs. And I'm like, hey, enjoy people.
- 3:23Like why don't you sell your eggs?
- 3:25Because I give them to the firemen.
- 3:26I give them to the people that come and work here.
- 3:28I had a plumber here yesterday and I sent him home with five
- 3:31dozen eggs. And you might have thought that
- 3:33I gave him a bag of gold. And that just makes me so smile
- 3:38because it fills my, it fills me up to know I can help somebody
- 3:43else smile. I can help somebody else thrive.
- 3:45So the challenge is whether it's plant, animal, human, whatever
- 3:51it is not you, but something else, figure out how you could
- 3:55help make that person, that thing thrive.
- 3:59If you're you're looking at your plants and they look sad, put
- 4:02them in new pots, figure it out. Say, OK, I need to change your
- 4:05location. What do you need to thrive?
- 4:07What can I do to help you? Whatever it might be, ask the
- 4:11right question and dive in. Because I promise you, even just
- 4:16the fact of changing a pot for a plant and putting it where it
- 4:19needs to go will really, really, really give you that feeling.
- 4:26All right, my friends, I hope you have a blessed day and I
- 4:29will see you tomorrow. Bye.
