- 0:10Speaker 1: God bless football, Mikey A.
- 0:15Speaker 2: God bless football? Taylor, god blessed football?
- 0:18Speaker 3: Is he god bless football?
- 0:20Speaker 1: Stu? Yes, okay, so it's like a circle. You're unfamiliar
- 0:24Speaker 1: with the right.
- 0:25Speaker 3: It's the easiest thing we do and for some reason,
- 0:28Speaker 3: you know, every once in a while, I kind of
- 0:29Speaker 3: get confused.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Yeah, it's okay. Is he Taylor didn't seem very excited
- 0:33Speaker 1: about God blessed football? Mikey, how do you feel about that?
- 0:36Speaker 2: I mean, I think it's I think it's the end
- 0:39Speaker 2: of the week.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Yes, I think he's just trying to get to vacation.
- 0:44Speaker 1: We have some more mich Lee's coming up on the episode.
- 0:47Speaker 1: But quarterback tears, it is that. It is that part
- 0:50Speaker 1: of the season here August where we discussed tears, and
- 0:55Speaker 1: I think Mike Sando was the most recent guy from
- 0:58Speaker 1: the athletic to of his quarterback tiers. Taylor, you have
- 1:02Speaker 1: the tears for us.
- 1:03Speaker 4: Yeah, so what Mike Sando does? These aren't his tiers.
- 1:06Speaker 4: He's just the one releasing it. He pulls fifty executives
- 1:10Speaker 4: and coaches and has them each vote is a quarterback
- 1:14Speaker 4: in Tier one, Tier two, Tier three, Tier four, Yes,
- 1:19Speaker 4: Mikey I.
- 1:21Speaker 5: Was just gonna say, before we get to the actual tiers,
- 1:24Speaker 5: can I read you, guys some anonymous quotes based on
- 1:27Speaker 5: Mike Sandos tiers about a quarterback and you are try
- 1:30Speaker 5: and guess who we're talking about.
- 1:32Speaker 6: Yes, Taylor was in the middle of a set up there,
- 1:34Speaker 6: but yes, go ahead.
- 1:36Speaker 5: Well, I was just trying to let him know I
- 1:38Speaker 5: wanted to talk after that, and he completely stopped.
- 1:40Speaker 1: And went to it. So you did make the move
- 1:43Speaker 1: like you had to the urgent to say, though in
- 1:45Speaker 1: his defense, it was it seemed like it was urgent.
- 1:48Speaker 5: I mean, it wasn't an interrupt You know what, what's
- 1:51Speaker 5: the We need a signal for interrupting.
- 1:53Speaker 2: I have something to say versus when you get a chance.
- 1:56Speaker 6: All right, like a challenge flag or something like that.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Yeah, something like that.
- 2:00Speaker 3: I think a twenty second time out said it really needs.
- 2:02Speaker 1: He always brings it back to sports.
- 2:05Speaker 3: So we might as well start with sports media.
- 2:07Speaker 1: We're gonna talk about Kevin Durant this episode.
- 2:10Speaker 3: No, unless we take a twenty second time out and
- 2:13Speaker 3: go talk about.
- 2:13Speaker 1: A twenty second time out for basketball. I like that
- 2:16Speaker 1: bring it back anyway you were saying, Mikey, I'm sorry.
- 2:20Speaker 5: Okay, So there is a quarterback who was absolutely crushed
- 2:25Speaker 5: in these tiers, and I'm curious if you guys know
- 2:27Speaker 5: who they're gonna be talking about where. One defensive coach
- 2:30Speaker 5: said quote, I'd sleep like a baby if I got
- 2:33Speaker 5: to play him every week. And one executive said, he's
- 2:37Speaker 5: inaccurate at all three levels. I can't tell if he's
- 2:40Speaker 5: gonna get better, but there's a huge gap between him
- 2:43Speaker 5: and competent QB play.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Wow, name that quarterback, man, I'm immediately going to the
- 2:49Speaker 3: last tier here. You have to and it's no way
- 2:52Speaker 3: it's Malik Willis, Like that guy hasn't seen enough pt
- 2:55Speaker 3: to really be that Have these folks be that harsh
- 2:59Speaker 3: on him? I think Geno Smith has had a great
- 3:02Speaker 3: season in the NFL, So I don't know if it's him.
- 3:05Speaker 3: I feel like it might be JJ McCarthy, Like I
- 3:09Speaker 3: know from watching JJ McCarthy, I have zero confidence in him.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Is he usually does this? I will do it here.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Can I hear the quotes again? I need to hear it, sure, Okay,
- 3:19Speaker 1: go ahead.
- 3:20Speaker 5: One defensive coach said, I'd sleep like a baby if
- 3:23Speaker 5: I got to play him every week, right, And one
- 3:26Speaker 5: executive said, quote, he's inaccurate at all three levels.
- 3:30Speaker 2: I can't tell if.
- 3:31Speaker 5: He's going to get better, but there's a huge gap
- 3:34Speaker 5: between him and competent QB play.
- 3:36Speaker 2: I don't know that I've ever heard somebody get roasted
- 3:39Speaker 2: like that.
- 3:39Speaker 3: I have a new answer because I think that this
- 3:42Speaker 3: You're right, Mikey, nobody gets roasted like this, So whoever
- 3:44Speaker 3: it is has to be pretty volatile and has to
- 3:46Speaker 3: have had this opinion of him out there before.
- 3:49Speaker 6: How about you put your name to it? How about
- 3:51Speaker 6: that you know.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Well, there's that. Yes, So I'm changing my answer now
- 3:55Speaker 3: to the last player on the list, and that's your
- 3:57Speaker 3: door Sanders.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I was gonna nailed it really at Chadoor. Wow.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Yeah, Shador Sanders the last guy on the list.
- 4:06Speaker 3: And I only guess that because you made him reask
- 4:09Speaker 3: a recite yes, quote yes, and we're all tired yes.
- 4:15Speaker 3: And that harshness is what made me think, because everybody
- 4:19Speaker 3: thinks like they can say whatever they want to about
- 4:21Speaker 3: Shador Sanders.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Right, well it's true or not. We're in pre season four.
- 4:25Speaker 1: I think that I think that quarterback competition in Cleveland
- 4:28Speaker 1: is interesting. Why would you start to Sean Watson and
- 4:31Speaker 1: not Shador Sanders. I realized that Shador Sanders, according to
- 4:35Speaker 1: one defensive guy in the NFL, is terrible, not just
- 4:38Speaker 1: one level, all three levels. He is inaccurate. He is terrible.
- 4:44Speaker 1: But you have two picks in the first round next year,
- 4:47Speaker 1: and next year is the big quarterback draft. Why would
- 4:50Speaker 1: you do anything other than see if you have a
- 4:52Speaker 1: quarterback in Shador Sanders.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Well, let's get to the tiers because I think we'll
- 4:57Speaker 3: find out more about that actual quarterback battle. And actually,
- 5:00Speaker 3: Dor Sanders is actually all.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Right, Taylor, how do you want to do this? You
- 5:03Speaker 1: want to go last to first, first to last. How
- 5:05Speaker 1: should we do this?
- 5:06Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 5:06Speaker 4: I think we go first to last. So in tier one,
- 5:10Speaker 4: the Tier one criteria is carries his team each week
- 5:14Speaker 4: the team wins because of him, expertly handles pure passing situations,
- 5:19Speaker 4: has no real holes in his game.
- 5:21Speaker 1: All right.
- 5:21Speaker 4: The top quarterback who was not unanimous, One person of
- 5:26Speaker 4: the fifty executives and coaches gave him a Tier two vote. Yeah,
- 5:30Speaker 4: Patrick Mahomes Slow.
- 5:32Speaker 3: He got one Tier two vote. That's probably because he's
- 5:34Speaker 3: coming off of injury and maybe they've seen a couple
- 5:37Speaker 3: of clips online of him playing with that You know
- 5:39Speaker 3: recovered left leg, left leg, yes, but yeah, I would
- 5:44Speaker 3: say he still belongs in tier one. I don't know
- 5:46Speaker 3: if he is number one.
- 5:48Speaker 5: Go ahead, He's the definition of what they read is
- 5:52Speaker 5: tier one like it is him.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Well, hold on, let me hear the definition of tier
- 5:55Speaker 1: one again. Please, sorry to be as real Goody ares
- 6:00Speaker 1: whre is his team each week.
- 6:01Speaker 4: The team wins because of him, expertly handles pure passing situations.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Hold on, I was distracted by the voice of the panther,
- 6:08Speaker 1: Steve Goldstein. I'm sorry about that. We're at a radio station.
- 6:11Speaker 1: We're doing it from the studio. He just walked by.
- 6:13Speaker 1: He peeked through the glass and he waved both me
- 6:16Speaker 1: and is he I was distracted. I need to hear
- 6:18Speaker 1: it again.
- 6:20Speaker 4: Carries his team each week, the team wins because of him,
- 6:23Speaker 4: expertly handles pure passing situations, has no real holes in
- 6:27Speaker 4: his game.
- 6:28Speaker 1: It's not Mahomes. So here's the thing with Mahomes, at
- 6:30Speaker 1: least as far as I'm concerned. A. He's coming off
- 6:31Speaker 1: the injury, but I'm not doubting his greatness. He's a
- 6:33Speaker 1: great quarterback, maybe the greatest quarterback we've ever seen. But
- 6:37Speaker 1: he doesn't carry his team every week. That defense carried
- 6:40Speaker 1: him to two super Bowls.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Well, in terms of offense, he carried like that team
- 6:44Speaker 3: could have absolutely all of its parts injured and he
- 6:47Speaker 3: would still find a way. Like I think he has
- 6:50Speaker 3: done that. The question is can he do that this season?
- 6:53Speaker 3: And that's why you know, that's the only question mark
- 6:56Speaker 3: is coming off of this injury. But he has been
- 6:58Speaker 3: as Mikey said, the definition of that.
- 7:00Speaker 4: So the other quarterbacks in Tier one, it's Josh Allen,
- 7:03Speaker 4: Matthew Stafford, and Joe Burrow. My biggest problem with this
- 7:09Speaker 4: tiers from these executives and coaches. I don't understand what
- 7:13Speaker 4: people are still doing with Joe Burrow because Joe Burrow
- 7:15Speaker 4: is skating by off a twenty twenty two Super Bowl
- 7:19Speaker 4: appearance where if you want to say Joe Burrow's Tier one,
- 7:23Speaker 4: Lamar Jackson has to be in Tier one too, yes,
- 7:26Speaker 4: Or if you're saying Lamar Jackson is a Tier two quarterback,
- 7:30Speaker 4: Joe Burrow has to be a Tier two quarterback because
- 7:32Speaker 4: what is the separator between those two quarterbacks at this point?
- 7:36Speaker 6: Well, Joe Burner, Joe Burrow carried a bad defense to.
- 7:39Speaker 1: A Super Bowl. That one game twenty twenty two. I know,
- 7:41Speaker 1: but at least he did it. Lamar Jackson has been
- 7:43Speaker 1: in a championship game.
- 7:45Speaker 3: But we're keeping him in Tier one because we've seen
- 7:47Speaker 3: him do that four years ago. Like that doesn't really
- 7:50Speaker 3: connect for me. I think they're all just falling in
- 7:52Speaker 3: love with him because all these slow mo thirst trap
- 7:54Speaker 3: videos that you always see with Joe.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Burrow and just like, oh, we like that guy.
- 7:57Speaker 6: Yep, Mikey.
- 8:00Speaker 5: The thing that gets me about why Lamar Jackson isn't
- 8:03Speaker 5: in Tier one versus Tier two, is it said pure
- 8:06Speaker 5: passing situations. Lamar Jackson is one of the best players
- 8:09Speaker 5: in the NFL, there's no question.
- 8:11Speaker 2: But if you tell me he can't run, then it's.
- 8:15Speaker 3: A ust because as a quarterback, you're allowed to run,
- 8:18Speaker 3: so it should count as your ability.
- 8:20Speaker 1: So it shouldn't be just that's not what.
- 8:22Speaker 5: Tier one's But that's not what Tier one's definition was.
- 8:25Speaker 2: That's my only thing.
- 8:25Speaker 1: No, I'm with you, I just don't know what.
- 8:27Speaker 3: No, I hear you. I'm just saying it shouldn't be
- 8:29Speaker 3: the definition. They should expand that definition. I feel like
- 8:33Speaker 3: maybe they're defining it that way to purposely keep Lamar
- 8:35Speaker 3: Jackson out.
- 8:36Speaker 1: In fairness to Lamar Jackson, he should not be, you know,
- 8:39Speaker 1: grouped up with whoever's going to be a Tier two
- 8:41Speaker 1: Like I have an idea who's going to be in
- 8:43Speaker 1: that second tier, and he shouldn't be grouped with those guys.
- 8:45Speaker 1: He should be grouped with the Josh Allens, the Matthew Staffords,
- 8:49Speaker 1: the Patrick Mahomes.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Is the MVP caliber quarterbacks.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Yes, yes, a guy who even when everything breaks down,
- 8:55Speaker 1: he could still win you a game. Yes, so I
- 8:57Speaker 1: agree with you guys on that. All right, let's get
- 8:59Speaker 1: to Tier two here. Are we done with Tier one?
- 9:01Speaker 5: No?
- 9:01Speaker 1: I'm not done yet.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yes, yes, I'm sorry.
- 9:03Speaker 4: Let's go all right, Tier T Taylor. So Tier two
- 9:06Speaker 4: is absolutely loaded. It's Lamar Jackson, Justin Herbert, Dak Prescott,
- 9:12Speaker 4: Drake May, Jared Goffer tied. Then Jordan Love, Brock Purdy
- 9:16Speaker 4: and Caleb Williams are tied at eleven Jaden Daniels, Baker Mayfield,
- 9:20Speaker 4: Sam Darnold, Trevor Lawrence. And then the worst quarterback in
- 9:24Speaker 4: Tier two at seventeen, yes, Jalen Hurts, and a note
- 9:28Speaker 4: Caleb Williams at eleven. He jumped up twelve spots. Wow,
- 9:32Speaker 4: from last year.
- 9:33Speaker 6: He'll be a Tier one quarterback next year.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I know that enough.
- 9:36Speaker 3: He shouldn't be tied with Brock Purdy. That's an insult
- 9:39Speaker 3: Lamar Jackson since he's here in Tier two. The thing
- 9:43Speaker 3: about him is people don't really give him. I guess
- 9:46Speaker 3: cut him some slack for I think he was just stale.
- 9:50Speaker 3: The Harbass situation, it was just stale. They tried some stuff,
- 9:54Speaker 3: you know, they've got some you know, brought in Derrick
- 9:56Speaker 3: Henry and obviously tried to get him as much wide
- 9:58Speaker 3: receiver help as possible. But you could just tell the
- 10:01Speaker 3: way Lamar was playing, the way he was reacting after
- 10:03Speaker 3: offensive drives, like he was tired of what was going on.
- 10:06Speaker 3: And I think there was a couple of times where
- 10:08Speaker 3: he sort of sat on the sideline.
- 10:09Speaker 1: They know everything we're doing, right. You can't have Jalen Hurts,
- 10:13Speaker 1: who's been to two Super Bowls, beat Patrick Mahomes in
- 10:16Speaker 1: one of them, should have beat Mahomes in another one.
- 10:19Speaker 1: You can't have them, you know, sixteen spots behind Patrick Mahomes.
- 10:22Speaker 6: It's disrespectful. Jalen Hurts, I don't know what I'm doing.
- 10:25Speaker 5: He should be twenty five spots behind yeah, Mikey, you
- 10:28Speaker 5: were making a shot face right before that.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yes, because he doesn't like my take on
- 10:32Speaker 1: Jalen Hurts. I love Jalen Hurts. I know you do.
- 10:36Speaker 5: And Jalen Hurts is a really good player. But again,
- 10:40Speaker 5: we're talking about throwing the football. That's what they defined it.
- 10:43Speaker 5: I'm not talking about it. That's how the athletic defined it.
- 10:45Speaker 5: Throwing the football. Jalen Hurts doesn't do it. Jalen Hurts
- 10:49Speaker 5: doesn't do it that well. He's a great player, he's
- 10:52Speaker 5: a great weapon. I'm just shocked that this feels like
- 10:55Speaker 5: they put everyone in Tier two who they didn't want
- 10:58Speaker 5: to hurt their feelings.
- 10:59Speaker 2: But they didn't want to.
- 11:00Speaker 5: Then you want to be like, well you're not really
- 11:02Speaker 5: like Justin Herbert shouldn't be in there.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Right, what are we doing?
- 11:06Speaker 6: But they hurt Lamar Jackson's feelings.
- 11:08Speaker 2: I mean, I agree, but again that was the definition.
- 11:11Speaker 4: So of the fifty voters, Jalen Hurts had twenty five
- 11:16Speaker 4: Tier two votes twenty five Tier three votes, so he
- 11:20Speaker 4: very well could have been placed in Tier three. But
- 11:22Speaker 4: I think it just goes ty goes to the higher tier, right,
- 11:25Speaker 4: and some of the notes they have from executives. This
- 11:28Speaker 4: is from a defensive coach. His best plays are off schedule.
- 11:32Speaker 4: It will become less sustainable as he gets older.
- 11:35Speaker 3: I feel like there should be more tears.
- 11:37Speaker 5: I think that's the yes, you know what is he
- 11:40Speaker 5: you solved it. There should have been more tears.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Yeah, Taylor put it on the poll. Should there be
- 11:45Speaker 1: more tears? I'm with Izzy, like, so how would you
- 11:50Speaker 1: do it? If you did it, you would have the
- 11:51Speaker 1: first four? You're fine with those? Right? No?
- 11:53Speaker 3: I went thro Lamar Jackson and I'll have my top five.
- 11:56Speaker 6: But well, it just seems like Lamar should be in tier.
- 11:59Speaker 3: What agreed?
- 12:00Speaker 2: Right?
- 12:00Speaker 1: Right?
- 12:00Speaker 3: And so if even if that was the case, that's
- 12:03Speaker 3: still six through seventeen. That's too many for one tier,
- 12:06Speaker 3: Like for me, I mean, Drake May and Jalen Hurts
- 12:09Speaker 3: are not in the same tier.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Okay, that's fair. So more tears.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Based on the definition. Yes, you know this this is
- 12:15Speaker 3: telling us. Look listen, look who you're talking to. Do
- 12:19Speaker 3: you think I don't want more tears? No one loves
- 12:23Speaker 3: tears more than me.
- 12:24Speaker 1: I mean it's exciting.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Here's another one on there that projection wise, I know
- 12:28Speaker 3: we haven't seen, but basically one year, but Jaden Daniels man,
- 12:32Speaker 3: dude's gonna be way higher.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Yes, yes, Well, if he didn't get hurt last year,
- 12:37Speaker 1: he'd probably be a Tier one guy, right.
- 12:39Speaker 3: I would say they would put him wherever Lamar Jackson
- 12:42Speaker 3: is because he hasn't done it. Well, it depends on
- 12:44Speaker 3: what he did last year. Let's say if he was
- 12:46Speaker 3: healthy and they made another playoff run, then yeah, he
- 12:48Speaker 3: might have jumped himself up into Tier one.
- 12:50Speaker 1: All right, how do we feel about Dak being that
- 12:52Speaker 1: high up?
- 12:53Speaker 3: It just depends on which week you watch.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Didn't want to hurt his feelings.
- 12:57Speaker 3: He didn't want to hurt his feelings, is what it is.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Do you think it's feelings would really be hurt? The
- 13:01Speaker 1: man's making three hundred million dollars.
- 13:04Speaker 5: I'll yes, and I think his feelings would be hurt.
- 13:07Speaker 4: But what I think of the the Cowboys and the
- 13:09Speaker 4: Cowboys shortcomings, it doesn't really feel like that's a Dak
- 13:13Speaker 4: Prescott Dallas Cowboys offense issue. It always seems like they've
- 13:17Speaker 4: got a very leaky defense, and when they lose, it's
- 13:21Speaker 4: because they're expecting Dak Prescott to either stay healthy, which
- 13:25Speaker 4: is a bigger issue at this point or Dak Prescott
- 13:27Speaker 4: to score forty plus points and win the game.
- 13:29Speaker 3: But what was the line in the description of the
- 13:32Speaker 3: of this this these tiers on the definition? Yeah, definition being.
- 13:37Speaker 4: So tier two criteria is and I think it fits
- 13:40Speaker 4: every quarterback in here except for Lamar Jackson. Carries his team,
- 13:44Speaker 4: sometimes handles pure passing situations and doses, or has other
- 13:49Speaker 4: dimensions that elevate him above Tier three as a whole
- 13:52Speaker 4: or two in his game. That's the that's the criteria.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Yeah, if I was Caleb Williams, I'd be insulted. I don't.
- 13:59Speaker 3: I shouldn't be with Brock Purdy, right, I probably shouldn't.
- 14:02Speaker 3: I should be ahead of Dak Prescott at this point,
- 14:04Speaker 3: given what he's shown just last year. But I think
- 14:07Speaker 3: it's a little bit of a you know, accumulation of
- 14:10Speaker 3: years that probably has Dak ahead of him.
- 14:12Speaker 4: I love Caleb Williams, but I feel like there's some
- 14:15Speaker 4: selective memory when we talk about Caleb Williams because they're
- 14:18Speaker 4: sometimes in Bears games where he air males passes.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Yeah, and he.
- 14:23Speaker 4: Hasn't put it all together yet. And I'm not saying
- 14:25Speaker 4: that he won't put it all together, but the way
- 14:27Speaker 4: some people talk about Caleb Williams sometimes feels like he's
- 14:31Speaker 4: already arrived at being a top five quarterback in the NFL.
- 14:34Speaker 4: You're talking to me, right, Yeah, yeah, I didn't want
- 14:37Speaker 4: to mention you, but yes, yes.
- 14:38Speaker 6: I said, he's the greatest quarterback in the history of
- 14:39Speaker 6: the NFL.

- 16:38Speaker 3: Before we list tier three, if we're done with tier two,
- 16:41Speaker 3: give me the definition of that tier, because I'd like
- 16:44Speaker 3: to know that as I hear the names. Okay, because
- 16:47Speaker 3: there's already a guy that I see on tier three
- 16:50Speaker 3: that I believe probably should be.
- 16:52Speaker 1: No, you're right, we skipped over the definition of what
- 16:54Speaker 1: a Tier two quarterback is. It's very important, So what
- 16:57Speaker 1: is a Tier three quarterback?
- 16:59Speaker 4: Tier three is legit starter, but needs better running game
- 17:03Speaker 4: or defense to win. Lower volume drop back passing offense
- 17:08Speaker 4: suits him best, all right, So.
- 17:09Speaker 1: It needs a running game.
- 17:13Speaker 5: See in this tier that I'm going he's definitely not
- 17:19Speaker 5: in a lower dropback situation because this guy throws the
- 17:22Speaker 5: ball forty.
- 17:23Speaker 2: To fifty times.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Yep, I see who you're looking at.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Yeah, go ahead, read the names Taylor.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Take us through Tier three Taylor.
- 17:31Speaker 4: So it's eighteen through twenty eight. It's Bo Nicks, Aaron Rodgers, C. J. Stroud,
- 17:36Speaker 4: Daniel Jones, Bryce Young, Kyler Murray Jackson, Dart cam Ward,
- 17:40Speaker 4: Tyler Schuck and Tua are tied, and then Kirk Cousins
- 17:44Speaker 4: to round it out.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Kirk Cousins drops back a lot. Yes he does. Who doesn't, though,
- 17:51Speaker 1: cam Ward?
- 17:54Speaker 3: I mean, the idea that Tier three is the first
- 17:57Speaker 3: tier of quarterbacks that need a running game is ridiculous.
- 18:00Speaker 3: They all need a running game, they all need a
- 18:03Speaker 3: defense that you can keep guessing, right, otherwise they're you
- 18:06Speaker 3: know famously pinning their ears back every single time, and
- 18:08Speaker 3: it makes it more difficult for every.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Well, what jumps out to me is CJ. Shroud when
- 18:12Speaker 1: he had a running game, when the running game was good,
- 18:14Speaker 1: when it was Joe Mixon, he was pretty good. And
- 18:17Speaker 1: when he lost that running game last year, suddenly there
- 18:20Speaker 1: were questions about CJ. Stroud and just how good he is.
- 18:22Speaker 1: So maybe he does need a running game.
- 18:24Speaker 3: How do you think Aaron Rodgers feels as being behind
- 18:26Speaker 3: bon Nicks? Like Aaron Rodgers probably says to himself, if
- 18:29Speaker 3: I take that Denver team right now, I could get
- 18:32Speaker 3: us to a super Bowl.
- 18:33Speaker 6: He thinks that, Yes, whether he's right or not, is right?
- 18:38Speaker 1: Do you think he'd be right? I don't know. I'd
- 18:41Speaker 1: like to see it, to be honest, man, I don't
- 18:42Speaker 1: think you'd be right. What do you have, Taelor?
- 18:44Speaker 2: So?
- 18:44Speaker 4: I have quarterbacks that moved up from Tier three to
- 18:47Speaker 4: Tier two this year. It's Drake May, Caleb Williams, Sam Darnold,
- 18:51Speaker 4: Trevor Lawrence have all made the jump. The quarterback who
- 18:55Speaker 4: moved down from Tier two to Tier three this year
- 18:58Speaker 4: it is CJ.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Stroud And I would say this, he's a running game.
- 19:03Speaker 5: Based on the definition of Tier three, and I love him,
- 19:07Speaker 5: but Sam Donald is like the poster child for what
- 19:11Speaker 5: you read. He needs a running game, he needs a defense,
- 19:15Speaker 5: low dropback rates like that is Sam Donald.
- 19:18Speaker 2: He should be tier three.
- 19:20Speaker 5: But again, they don't want to hurt the feelings of
- 19:22Speaker 5: somebody who just won the Super Bowl.
- 19:24Speaker 3: If they lose in the second round of the playoffs.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Last year, he's still in Tier three.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Yes, he's still Tier three.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 19:30Speaker 1: I love how Mikey's doing this where Sando's tears blank
- 19:33Speaker 1: sheet winds up on some executive's desk and he's saying
- 19:36Speaker 1: to himself, I don't want to do that to Sam.
- 19:39Speaker 4: Exactly, Mikey, who's more of a poster child for tier
- 19:43Speaker 4: three because you said it would be Sam Darnald, I
- 19:46Speaker 4: think it's Daniel Jones.
- 19:48Speaker 5: Daniel Jones is the other guy. Daniel Jones is the
- 19:50Speaker 5: other guy. You're right, both of them.
- 19:52Speaker 3: Yes, I don't know what everybody else saw out of
- 19:55Speaker 3: Jackson Dart, but I saw.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Way more out of cam Ward. I love him.
- 20:00Speaker 3: You need to be flip flopped at very least.
- 20:01Speaker 1: I could see cam Ward being a Tier one guy
- 20:04Speaker 1: next year. I could see Jackson Dart being a Tier
- 20:05Speaker 1: two guy next year.
- 20:06Speaker 2: I like both.
- 20:07Speaker 3: That's a big leap from from for cam Ward there,
- 20:10Speaker 3: but I definitely feel like he should leapfrog jack Jackson
- 20:13Speaker 3: Dart at some point.
- 20:14Speaker 1: It is rare where someone jumps up two tiers after
- 20:17Speaker 1: a single season.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Is he?
- 20:18Speaker 4: I just I just made a note that is he
- 20:21Speaker 4: thinks cam Ward should be twenty four not twenty five.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Good?
- 20:24Speaker 4: Yeah, And then Jackson Dart should be twenty five not
- 20:27Speaker 4: twenty four.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Thank you? Yes? He also he's not certain keeping note
- 20:33Speaker 1: And I don't know how we're going to track this one.
- 20:35Speaker 1: If Aaron Rodgers would win a Super Bowl if he
- 20:37Speaker 1: were on Denver many how many of these quarterbacks would
- 20:41Speaker 1: win his Super Bowl if they were on Seattle. Let's
- 20:43Speaker 1: do it that way.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Where was Tua going into last year? That's a tough
- 20:48Speaker 3: question for you on the spot? Sorry?
- 20:50Speaker 1: So was he coming off the year in which he
- 20:52Speaker 1: led the league in passing no yardage?
- 20:54Speaker 3: No, that was a couple of years earlier.
- 20:58Speaker 1: I'm guessing he had to be a Tier three guy.
- 21:00Speaker 3: I don't know, because I feel like he was close
- 21:02Speaker 3: enough to when he led the league that he might
- 21:04Speaker 3: have been bottom up tier two guy.
- 21:06Speaker 1: There was still hope.
- 21:08Speaker 4: This is saying he was a Tier three quarterback still
- 21:10Speaker 4: last year.
- 21:10Speaker 6: All right, because that Tier three always a Tier three, because.
- 21:13Speaker 3: I feel like Tier three might be high for him.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Now, how many quarterbacks, how many Tier two quarterbacks? If
- 21:23Speaker 1: you put them on Seattle win a Super Bowl all
- 21:26Speaker 1: the time. I think you put Dak Prescott on Seattle,
- 21:29Speaker 1: they win a Super Bowl.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Yes, every single one of them.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Justin Herbert Well definitely. The only one that I questioned
- 21:35Speaker 3: would be Brock Purty, but I'd say all of them.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Trevor Lawrence, Yeah.
- 21:38Speaker 3: You saw how he performed yesterday. Our last year. You
- 21:41Speaker 3: saw that Seattle defense.
- 21:42Speaker 4: The only one you.
- 21:43Speaker 5: Got Trevor Lawrence to play the way Sam Darnold did
- 21:47Speaker 5: in that stop throwing the ball, do what I tell
- 21:49Speaker 5: you to do.
- 21:50Speaker 4: Then, Yes, the ones I questioned the most would be
- 21:54Speaker 4: Trevor Lawrence, Caleb Williams, and then Drake May in terms
- 21:58Speaker 4: of putting them on seat, just because I think at
- 22:01Speaker 4: the end of last season you saw Drake May was
- 22:04Speaker 4: very clearly hurt in the playoffs and his play was dropping.
- 22:07Speaker 4: Caleb Williams is a little bit too hot or cold.
- 22:10Speaker 4: And then the same thing with Trevor Lawrence where I
- 22:12Speaker 4: wouldn't if I'm Seattle, I wouldn't trust putting Trevor Lawrence
- 22:18Speaker 4: in the same situations that they put Sam Darnold in
- 22:20Speaker 4: and saying, this guy's gonna give me four great quarters
- 22:22Speaker 4: of football.
- 22:23Speaker 3: I think people overestimate Brock Purdy because he has an
- 22:27Speaker 3: ability to execute a game plan, but he does not
- 22:30Speaker 3: have the physical ability to do anything.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Really if that game plan.
- 22:34Speaker 3: Falls apart, why is a Tier two But I so
- 22:37Speaker 3: this is what I'm saying, Like, I think everybody else
- 22:39Speaker 3: in Tier two or a lot more people in Tier
- 22:41Speaker 3: two have that ability. Lamark Jackson certainly does, Justin Herbert does,
- 22:44Speaker 3: Dak Prescott has in the past, you know a lot
- 22:47Speaker 3: of Caleb Williams certainly does, Jayden Daniels like they have
- 22:50Speaker 3: playmaker ability. And Brock Purdy is just, you know, the
- 22:53Speaker 3: buttoned up, like I said, the guy who can execute
- 22:55Speaker 3: a game plan and happens to have the coach who
- 22:57Speaker 3: has a heck of a game.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Everything needs to be right for Brock what you're saying,
- 23:00Speaker 1: maybe not. I've seen Rock perty go out of the
- 23:02Speaker 1: pocket and make plays when a play breaks down. He's
- 23:04Speaker 1: pretty good at that.
- 23:05Speaker 3: Yeah, but like, is it special?
- 23:07Speaker 1: Is it? Can it something you can rely on?
- 23:09Speaker 5: No?
- 23:09Speaker 3: I feel like he's he's of the physical ability where
- 23:12Speaker 3: if he faces that rams defensive line and you know,
- 23:15Speaker 3: and everything collapses, He's just gonna collapse.
- 23:17Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Maybe, I mean brock perty was the last pick in
- 23:20Speaker 1: the draft, right, mm hm? I mean to be a
- 23:22Speaker 1: tier two quarterback coming from the last pick in the draft,
- 23:25Speaker 1: getting all the way up to tier two a Mike
- 23:27Speaker 1: Sando's list is is pretty impressive.
- 23:29Speaker 3: It's impressive, but he doesn't belong to Well, someone felt bad.
- 23:35Speaker 1: I mean, according to Mike Eye, they didn't want to
- 23:37Speaker 1: hurt his feelings. All right, let's get to the last
- 23:41Speaker 1: tier here, Tier four. What is the definition jeck quarterback?
- 23:44Speaker 4: The Tier four criteria is unproven player not enough information
- 23:49Speaker 4: to classify, or a veteran who ideally would not be
- 23:53Speaker 4: a full season starter. It's Malik Willis, It's Gino Smith,
- 23:58Speaker 4: Deshaun Watson, Michael Pennick's, You're Jacobe Brisett, JJ McCarthy, Shudar
- 24:02Speaker 4: Sanders so is he Let me be the first to
- 24:04Speaker 4: congratulate you got the best quarterback in Tier four.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm so excited about this. This also answers your
- 24:12Speaker 3: question or goes back to the Cleveland Brown situation as
- 24:14Speaker 3: why would they what was your question? Was it why
- 24:17Speaker 3: would they start Deshaun or why would they start your door?
- 24:19Speaker 1: Why wouldn't you start Shadoor Sanders? If indeed Deshaun Watson's
- 24:23Speaker 1: not the answering quarterback, So you have two picks in
- 24:26Speaker 1: the first round next year and it's a quarterback heavy draft.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Everyone is talking about how great the quarterbacks are coming
- 24:33Speaker 1: up in next year's draft. Wouldn't you spend this season
- 24:36Speaker 1: seeing what Shadoor Sanders is all about?
- 24:38Speaker 3: You have to yes, But do I have any belief
- 24:41Speaker 3: that Shador Sanders is going to leap three tiers anytime soon?
- 24:44Speaker 1: No?
- 24:44Speaker 3: So I'm gonna pick that quarterback up anyway.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Okay, but if he's not good, you lose a lot
- 24:48Speaker 1: of games and you get a top pick. You know
- 24:49Speaker 1: what I'm saying, Deshaun Watson can win you enough games.
- 24:52Speaker 1: He can win you six seven games where suddenly you're
- 24:54Speaker 1: not picking in the top you know five.
- 24:56Speaker 3: This is where I was going to go. They're both
- 24:57Speaker 3: in Tier fourth, Dude, They're both probably gonna lose it
- 25:00Speaker 3: ton of games. You're going off to Shaun Watson that
- 25:02Speaker 3: you remember from six years ago. I haven't seen anything
- 25:04Speaker 3: from Deshaun Watson since he's put on that uniform.
- 25:06Speaker 1: They're both tier fours, but at one point I'm guessing
- 25:08Speaker 1: Deshaun Watson was like a tier two guy. Again, probably
- 25:11Speaker 1: trending towards a Tier one guy.
- 25:13Speaker 3: Yeah, but nobody stays at that level forever, and he
- 25:15Speaker 3: has certainly fallen off I know.
- 25:17Speaker 1: But if he gets some of that back, Okay, I'm
- 25:19Speaker 1: just saying he's talented enough where he can win them
- 25:21Speaker 1: six games, seven games. Mikeyy say, no, he can't do it.
- 25:25Speaker 1: You would start Deshaun Watson.
- 25:27Speaker 5: No, I would start your door, Yes, no question, there's
- 25:30Speaker 5: still a reason to do anything, but start to door Sanders.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Right, just to see if you have a quarterback. Right.
- 25:34Speaker 3: My point is we already know they don't. Okay, they're
- 25:37Speaker 3: gonna they're gonna pick a quarterback up next year. I
- 25:39Speaker 3: mean unless what shardor Sanders would have to and the
- 25:43Speaker 3: Cleveland Browns would have to have a Leicester City type
- 25:46Speaker 3: of season for.
- 25:47Speaker 1: People to change.
- 25:48Speaker 3: I mean you heard the quote from Mikey like for
- 25:50Speaker 3: people to change their opinion on Shador if he is
- 25:52Speaker 3: indeed inaccurate at all levels. You don't even need to Wow,
- 25:56Speaker 3: he's gonna have a miraculous season. He doesn't have the
- 25:57Speaker 3: pieces around him to do that. So it's on just
- 26:00Speaker 3: a predetermined situation, like, yeah, we're gonna go ahead and get
- 26:02Speaker 3: another quarterback.
- 26:04Speaker 5: Is he one of two things happens if you start
- 26:06Speaker 5: Shador Sanders. Either he's good enough to make you go, oh,
- 26:09Speaker 5: we might have a quarterback, or he's bad enough that
- 26:11Speaker 5: next year you go, hey, we're gonna go get a quarterback.
- 26:14Speaker 5: If you start to Shawn Watson and he's mediocre enough,
- 26:17Speaker 5: you're gonna say, well, we still might have a quarterback
- 26:20Speaker 5: in Shador Sanders, or we might not.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Now we have to make a decision.
- 26:24Speaker 5: I just think you just roll the dice with Chador
- 26:26Speaker 5: all year and let the chips fall where they may.
- 26:29Speaker 3: Or I am never watching a Browns game next year.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Or we're starting to see signs that DeShawn is coming back.
- 26:33Speaker 1: I mean that's another possibility.
- 26:35Speaker 3: That is more possible, right than Shador Sanders giving you
- 26:38Speaker 3: a leap to a tier two right based on what
- 26:41Speaker 3: he's gonna do this coming.
- 26:42Speaker 1: I'd rather not see if Deshaun is on his way back.
- 26:45Speaker 1: I don't want them to be my quarterback, even if
- 26:46Speaker 1: he is man I feel bad for I.
- 26:48Speaker 5: Love the idea of the Browns giving to Shawn Watson
- 26:51Speaker 5: an extension.
- 26:55Speaker 4: If the definition for a Tier four player is a
- 26:58Speaker 4: veteran who ideally would not be a full season starter,
- 27:02Speaker 4: that feels like it fits Kirk Cousins and Kirk Cousins
- 27:05Speaker 4: should not be Tier three and Tier four because I think,
- 27:08Speaker 4: if you're a Vegas fan, if by the end of
- 27:10Speaker 4: the year, Mendoza's not your starting quarterback, that seems like
- 27:15Speaker 4: it would be either Cousins was really good or Mendoza
- 27:20Speaker 4: was just never ready.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Can we or Mendoza's not that good? Yes? Can we
- 27:25Speaker 1: look at Steve Martin? Well, no, no, it was not
- 27:28Speaker 1: a Steve Martin. You have to think about what it
- 27:31Speaker 1: is that you just said, because it's the furthest thing
- 27:34Speaker 1: from a Steve Martin.
- 27:35Speaker 4: I said there would be two options.
- 27:37Speaker 6: And what are the two options verbatim?
- 27:39Speaker 4: Kirk Cousins was really good, yes, or Mendoza wasn't ready.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Yet not being ready and being really bad or two
- 27:46Speaker 1: different things. That's all not being ready and not being
- 27:52Speaker 1: very They see him every day in practice and if
- 27:55Speaker 1: they see him every day in practice and still decide
- 27:57Speaker 1: that Kirk Cousin should be the quarterback, be concerned because
- 28:01Speaker 1: they don't think he's very good. Not about whether he's
- 28:03Speaker 1: ready or not. It's about whether I'm being good or not.
- 28:07Speaker 2: I think we got to go to the people.
- 28:08Speaker 5: Put it on the pole, is not being ready and
- 28:10Speaker 5: not being good the same thing?
- 28:12Speaker 6: Well, yes, is it Steve Morton or Martin Short?
- 28:18Speaker 3: JJ McCarthy at thirty four. Far how quickly the bloom
- 28:22Speaker 3: has fallen off the roads with that guy? Yeah, because
- 28:25Speaker 3: it wasn't but the start of last year where people
- 28:26Speaker 3: were still trying to convince us that this guy could
- 28:28Speaker 3: be Tom Brady, Like yeah, yeah, thirty fourth out of
- 28:32Speaker 3: thirty five, Kyler Murray at twenty three, old quarterback, whisper
- 28:39Speaker 3: Jesus Christ.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Let's get to some more Mike Ley's here. The Hall
- 28:43Speaker 1: of Fame game is tonight, the NFL is underway. No
- 28:46Speaker 1: one cares about tonight's game, but I do care about
- 28:48Speaker 1: the season. Starting more, Mike Leys, what do you have
- 28:50Speaker 1: for us?
- 28:51Speaker 2: All right?
- 28:52Speaker 5: Well, start is he You haven't played this yet, so
- 28:54Speaker 5: I'll start with you so you can kind of feel
- 28:56Speaker 5: how it goes here, all right, more Mike Lee to
- 29:00Speaker 5: starting quarterback for the Dolphins in twenty twenty seven, Malik
- 29:04Speaker 5: Willis or a rookie.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Want me to explain it to you or no, I can.
- 29:08Speaker 3: I can understand that we replaced the letter L with
- 29:11Speaker 3: the letter M.
- 29:12Speaker 1: And what.
- 29:19Speaker 3: Man, what is Malik Willis's contract situation that he signed
- 29:23Speaker 3: with the Dolphins last year we're coming into this year.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Here it goes because it's I.
- 29:26Speaker 3: Mean, it's obviously not a one more likely, So he's gonna.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Have something that's just what's more likely to happen.
- 29:31Speaker 3: I think it's Malik Willis because I don't I don't
- 29:33Speaker 3: care who the rookie is. I think it's going to
- 29:35Speaker 3: be more of a you know, a raider situation, Martin
- 29:38Speaker 3: Short situation over there, and they'll have Malik Willis and
- 29:42Speaker 3: then hope that a you know, a rookie potentially a
- 29:44Speaker 3: Manning takes over that spot.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:47Speaker 4: I think it would be more mikely that Malik Willis
- 29:50Speaker 4: is the starting quarterback in twenty twenty seven, because you
- 29:53Speaker 4: look at the receiving room that they have right now
- 29:56Speaker 4: going into this season, they're not really setting Malik wi
- 30:00Speaker 4: Us up for success this season. I think this is
- 30:02Speaker 4: a case of you signed your your franchise pillars back,
- 30:05Speaker 4: you signed an offensive lineman back, you give a chan
- 30:08Speaker 4: that extension, and then next season it's gonna be about
- 30:11Speaker 4: actually giving Malik Willis the necessary resources to be a
- 30:15Speaker 4: successful quarterback.
- 30:16Speaker 6: Can you name a Dolphin receiver.
- 30:18Speaker 4: Malik Washington two two?
- 30:20Speaker 1: At? Well?
- 30:21Speaker 3: Wow, I was gonna ask if you can name two?
- 30:23Speaker 3: But did that too?
- 30:24Speaker 2: Two?
- 30:24Speaker 1: He did?
- 30:25Speaker 2: He needed two, two of them.
- 30:26Speaker 4: I couldn't name more than those two, though?
- 30:28Speaker 1: Would it be?
- 30:29Speaker 3: Because his name is two two? And it's really easy
- 30:32Speaker 3: to remember? Because I feel like if his name was
- 30:34Speaker 3: like Aaron Johnson, you'd be like, I don't know any
- 30:36Speaker 3: of the Dolphins receivers.
- 30:37Speaker 4: Well, for being honest, I guess Malik Washington because you
- 30:41Speaker 4: could almost always just guess that Milik Washington's just hanging
- 30:44Speaker 4: around that Dolphins receiver.
- 30:47Speaker 1: He's a number one now, all right? More Mike Lee?
- 30:51Speaker 5: Go ahead, uh, Taylor, More Mike Lee to miss the
- 30:55Speaker 5: playoffs in twenty twenty six, the Patriots are the Seahawks.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Miss the playoffs?
- 31:02Speaker 4: I would go I would go Patriots more likely to
- 31:06Speaker 4: miss the playoffs?
- 31:07Speaker 1: Wow?
- 31:08Speaker 4: You have I'm still I'm a little worried about Mike Vrabel.
- 31:12Speaker 4: I know that Patriots fans are giving them standing ovations
- 31:15Speaker 4: every every time he shows up.
- 31:17Speaker 3: It's weird.
- 31:18Speaker 4: The puppy on the stage was a little bit of
- 31:20Speaker 4: an alarm flag for our alarm bell for me saying,
- 31:23Speaker 4: I don't really know if Mike Vrabel if he gets
- 31:26Speaker 4: past this, but the schedule is much tougher this year,
- 31:30Speaker 4: and that's why I would go.
- 31:31Speaker 3: So they start out at the Seahawks versus the Steelers,
- 31:35Speaker 3: at the Jaguars, at the Bills. That's three out of
- 31:37Speaker 3: four road games against playoff teams, all of them. And
- 31:41Speaker 3: then they get a little easy break with the Raiders
- 31:44Speaker 3: and the Jets, and then they're at the Bears.
- 31:46Speaker 1: So those first one, two, three, four, five.
- 31:48Speaker 3: Six, seven games, I mean, I could easily see them
- 31:51Speaker 3: being three and four, two and five, even if they
- 31:53Speaker 3: have a letdown in one of those. And yeah, I
- 31:56Speaker 3: would say it's more likely that they missed the playoffs
- 31:58Speaker 3: versus see, doesn't they have a stability to them. It
- 32:02Speaker 3: feels like they do have a tough schedule. They're in
- 32:05Speaker 3: a tough division.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Well that's the thing to pick with. Yes, No, I
- 32:08Speaker 1: would I would say the Patriots are more mi likely
- 32:11Speaker 1: to miss the playoffs because they're in the I understand
- 32:14Speaker 1: what you're saying about the schedule, but they're in the
- 32:15Speaker 1: AFC East uh Buffalo with a new coach. They get
- 32:18Speaker 1: to play the Dolphins twice, they get to play the
- 32:20Speaker 1: Jets twice. They get to face Malik Washington and too
- 32:23Speaker 1: too at well two times. So that's two wins, I
- 32:26Speaker 1: would say the Patriots. And plus unit's still not sold completely.
- 32:30Speaker 1: I don't think on Drake May and so I would
- 32:33Speaker 1: say the Patriots are more mikely to miss the playoffs.
- 32:35Speaker 3: Well, isn't in division stuff? Doesn't sometimes that come with
- 32:39Speaker 3: the surprise loss because I remember the Dolphins have been
- 32:42Speaker 3: terrible for years and years and years and will always
- 32:44Speaker 3: get a nice feel good win against Tom Brady every
- 32:46Speaker 3: once in a while.
- 32:47Speaker 1: You know, I have to apologize because something's going on
- 32:49Speaker 1: with my computer, meaning it just shut down. When I
- 32:51Speaker 1: was setting up. There was the fact that I think
- 32:53Speaker 1: Seattle is more likely to miss the playoffs, and yet
- 32:55Speaker 1: I said the Patriots.
- 32:58Speaker 3: So your computer shutting down, mesterhole brain up?
- 33:01Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I had the divisions up, I had everything up,
- 33:03Speaker 1: and now I had to ask you for a charger,
- 33:05Speaker 1: and I was charging it while the question was being asked.
- 33:07Speaker 1: I didn't hear the question correctly. I'm making a bunch
- 33:10Speaker 1: of excuses, but I should because I have excuses.
- 33:14Speaker 6: Seattle because that division is so hard.
- 33:16Speaker 1: I think the Patriots because they played the Dolphins Jets
- 33:19Speaker 1: two times each over the course of the season. I
- 33:22Speaker 1: think the Seahawks are more micly to miss the playoffs.
- 33:25Speaker 1: I had to clear that up.
- 33:27Speaker 5: Okay, last one. Yes, we'll go to Stu Gotts without
- 33:30Speaker 5: his computer.
- 33:31Speaker 1: On for somebody really driving me crazy.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Ste Gotts.
- 33:33Speaker 5: Yes, and I'm asking you this just because I want
- 33:36Speaker 5: to hear you say it. Oh God, more Mikely to
- 33:39Speaker 5: go worse to first in their division. The Jets are
- 33:43Speaker 5: the Browns.
- 33:46Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, Can it be mike Ly If it's impossible, Yeah,
- 33:52Speaker 3: but one has to be slightly more mi likely than
- 33:54Speaker 3: the other.
- 33:54Speaker 1: It's football any given Sunday seem this has to be
- 33:59Speaker 1: seventeen sons.
- 34:00Speaker 2: I think this is easy.
- 34:01Speaker 3: It's an easy answer for me too.
- 34:02Speaker 4: Well.
- 34:03Speaker 1: I mean the Browns lost Garrett is Deshaun Watson starting, Well.
- 34:10Speaker 3: It's either him or Shad Door. It's not like you
- 34:11Speaker 3: have another option.
- 34:12Speaker 1: It's definitely not the same thing. It's not the Jets. I'm
- 34:14Speaker 1: going to say the Browns. More likely the Browns win
- 34:17Speaker 1: that division and the Jets win their division. The Jets
- 34:19Speaker 1: aren't going to be better than.
- 34:20Speaker 3: Buffalo, can't you. It's easy to predict a Joe Burrow injury.
- 34:23Speaker 3: It happens all the time. It's easy to predict an
- 34:26Speaker 3: Aaron Rodgers injury.
- 34:27Speaker 1: He's old. Yes, the Baltimore.
- 34:29Speaker 3: Ravens would be the team that would be the most
- 34:32Speaker 3: difficult to envision them leapfrogging, But again, they're very quarterback
- 34:36Speaker 3: dependent too, and he is a running quarterback. So one
- 34:38Speaker 3: mega hit against that guy and all of a sudden,
- 34:41Speaker 3: there's seasons in shambles. So that's that's got to be
- 34:44Speaker 3: the answer. AFC East. You still have to overcome the Bills.
- 34:47Speaker 3: You have to overcome the Patriots. That would be a
- 34:50Speaker 3: lot more difficult.
- 34:51Speaker 5: What do you think, Mike, I think it's the Jets,
- 34:54Speaker 5: and I don't even think it's close.
- 34:55Speaker 4: I don't think it's close.
- 34:56Speaker 1: What are you guys talking about it?
- 34:58Speaker 4: I could talk myself into the Jets roster. This Jets
- 35:01Speaker 4: roster is one of the best Jets rosters they've had
- 35:04Speaker 4: in recent years. And now I know that bars is
- 35:06Speaker 4: very low, but I like this Jets roster and the
- 35:09Speaker 4: pieces that they have, really.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Everything but the quarterback.
- 35:13Speaker 1: One of the best rosters they've had in recent years.
- 35:15Speaker 1: What's their record over the last three or four years.
- 35:19Speaker 4: Yeah, but they've got an infusion of young talent, Like
- 35:23Speaker 4: what if David Bailey is really good off the edge,
- 35:25Speaker 4: D'Angelo Ponds comes over from Indiana, Omar Cooper Junior comes
- 35:29Speaker 4: over from Indiana. They might have figured something.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Out drafting Indiana guys.
- 35:33Speaker 4: Drafting Indiana guys, drafting guys who are proven winners, and
- 35:36Speaker 4: getting winning guys into your locker room and establishing that
- 35:40Speaker 4: football culture.
- 35:40Speaker 3: But you've got Buffalo potentially letting down and letting them leap.
- 35:43Speaker 5: From that said, Josh Allen gets hurt. Josh Allen gets hurt,
- 35:47Speaker 5: and the Patriots with the Verbel stuff kind of spirals
- 35:50Speaker 5: a little bit.
- 35:52Speaker 4: I mean, I'm not saying that the Jets are going
- 35:54Speaker 4: to win the Yes.
- 35:57Speaker 5: They're one percent, whereas the Browns I think a half
- 36:00Speaker 5: of percent.
- 36:00Speaker 4: We are two years removed from Gino Smith being like
- 36:04Speaker 4: a pretty good quarterback in the NFL.
- 36:06Speaker 3: Let me also say this and your answer could be
- 36:08Speaker 3: he's due, but Josh Allen doesn't get hurt ever.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Sure he's married now though, Oh so we might get hurt.
- 36:17Speaker 6: Marriage does that to you.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Suddenly you're not focused, your eyes not on the prize,
- 36:21Speaker 1: you're not working out nearly.
- 36:22Speaker 6: As hard because you have other obligation as a kid
- 36:24Speaker 6: as well.
- 36:25Speaker 3: I mean, that's Herbert.
- 36:26Speaker 1: He couldn't make it to Lake Tahoe. I mean
