- 0:33None the, the,
- 1:58the, the.
- 2:53The. The.
- 5:17The. Hello there everyone.
- 5:27Welcome to the TTOR show. I, of course, am TTOR.
- 5:32And that right before you is none other than the one, the
- 5:36only Rakim Bert Kern, or, as he used to go by a few years ago,
- 5:44the boogeyman of the Internet. That is correct.
- 5:49I tell you what, folks, there's no one that gives me any kind of
- 5:52competition with making awesome intros.
- 5:55Except for Mr. TTOR. Oof, That was awesome.
- 5:59I appreciate that I do need to make some new ones though for
- 6:05streams like this that are being restreamed to YouTube because I
- 6:09have to be a little bit more careful because.
- 6:12When I just streamed a rumble and quarter, I pull out all the
- 6:14good music that YouTube would never let you air and I hear you
- 6:20there. Well, let's be careful because
- 6:22we are broadcasting YouTube right now through my channel.
- 6:27Yeah, wouldn't want to hurt you on that one, but hold on.
- 6:35So Josh has sent me a message here through Delta Chat.
- 6:40Let me take a peek, just. Got back home, had car troubles,
- 6:45Still waiting on the tow truck. So that's why he's not in the
- 6:48room yet, but he'll have a chance to come on later and give
- 6:51his piece. But before we get into that, why
- 6:57don't you and I, Brett, actually talk about a video you put out
- 7:00earlier today called Atheist and Christian Challenge by Brett
- 7:07Keene? Sure, sure.
- 7:10And if after we talk a little bit about this, if you'd like to
- 7:13ask me what my inspiration is behind it, I'll be more than
- 7:17happy to share. Absolutely.
- 7:19I probably will. So you can see it right here on
- 7:23the screen and I'm thinking we should watch it because I think
- 7:28like the 1st, 2, 1/2 minutes is pretty much the whole challenge
- 7:31and then the rest of it was just you adding commentary to it.
- 7:35Is that about right? Pretty much.
- 7:37I feel sometimes that I have to repeat myself because for some
- 7:41oddball reason people like to add it or Take Me Out of
- 7:44context. I wanted to make it crystal
- 7:46clear. I see.
- 7:51OK, let's play the 1st 2 1/2 minutes then, so that we can
- 7:55hear Brett's own words about what the challenge is.
- 8:00Hello, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Brett Keene and you
- 8:03were watching and listening to the Brett Keene Show.
- 8:06I hope you're all having a wonderful day out there.
- 8:09I've got a challenge for atheist as well as Christians.
- 8:13No other group out there, although any group or any
- 8:17religion. You're more than welcome to put
- 8:19your two cents in and what you think about all this.
- 8:23This challenge is going to be pretty difficult on both atheist
- 8:27and Christian, but I think that in the end you will see which
- 8:32group would benefit humanity most, which group is willing to
- 8:36make compromises and sacrifices depending on the responses and
- 8:40answers that you get from each one of them.
- 8:45The question is this. There's a terrorist group out
- 8:49there who grabs 2 Christian parents and two atheist parents,
- 8:542 godless parents. And on top of grabbing the
- 8:57parents from each group, they take their children, they kidnap
- 9:02the children. They then take the children as
- 9:07well as the adults into a dark warehouse and they put a live
- 9:11streaming camera on all the families and put enough light
- 9:16for you all to be able to view them quite clearly.
- 9:19Almost as if you're watching a movie.
- 9:22The terrorist Look over at the atheist and say we're going to
- 9:28end the lives of the Christian children.
- 9:32Unless you, the mother or father of the group of atheism, is
- 9:38willing to willfully allow yourself to be sacrificed in the
- 9:43place of the Christian children. Now the terrorists will look to
- 9:50the Christians and say to the mother and the father, Would you
- 9:55be willing to sacrifice your lives willfully for the children
- 10:00of these atheists? Now you can presuppose if you
- 10:06want to. If you allow the atheist
- 10:08children to live and not sacrifice yourself, will these
- 10:12children end up growing up? And I think really that's where
- 10:16the whole challenge is at this point.
- 10:20There you go. Basically, the idea of the
- 10:22challenge, if I'm understanding it right, is a hypothetical
- 10:26scenario where terrorists kidnap atheist parents and their
- 10:30children. The Christian parents and their
- 10:33children, and basically each party's parents is allowed well
- 10:40the children of the other party. So like, if the atheists are
- 10:45willing to sacrifice themselves the atheist parents, then the
- 10:48terrorists will let the Christian children live.
- 10:51If the Christian parents are willing to sacrifice their own
- 10:54lives, the atheist children will get to walk away Scott free and
- 10:58live. And I think the dilemma you're
- 11:00asking about for people to answer is If you're a Christian,
- 11:05would you sacrifice yourself for the atheist children?
- 11:08If you're an atheist, would you sacrifice yourself so that the
- 11:11Christian children could live? Now, in the video you kind of
- 11:16talk a little bit about it, but if you're looking at it from an
- 11:20atheist perspective, there may be a temptation to sacrifice
- 11:24yourself because. Well, if those Christian
- 11:27children live, they may get the opportunity later on to become
- 11:31atheists, and it's kind of the same thing with Christian
- 11:35parents in this hypothetical scenario.
- 11:38If they are willing to sacrifice themselves, not only with those
- 11:42atheist children live, but they may have a chance later on in
- 11:45life to get into a personal saving relationship with Jesus.
- 11:50And it may even be your sacrifice that leads them down
- 11:53that road. So there's those opportunities
- 11:58for both parties when it comes to sacrificing themselves for
- 12:02the other party's children. As far as how I would approach
- 12:07it as a Christian, well, I probably would sacrifice myself
- 12:12to save the atheist children. But exactly how that would go
- 12:18down I couldn't tell you because to quote the one guy from the
- 12:23Matrix. If I had to give my life to
- 12:27people like that so that someone else could live, I would give
- 12:30him hell the whole way through. It would.
- 12:33I wouldn't be a lamb like Jesus was when he was sacrificing
- 12:36himself on the cross. Now, atheists, they might say
- 12:42the same thing, some of them. But as you know, I have some
- 12:46doubts about whether or not they would actually follow through on
- 12:49their claims to be a willing sacrifice.
- 12:52Because as you know, Brett, we live in a culture where it's
- 12:54really easy to virtue signal. It's really easy to claim that
- 12:58you would do something virtuous only for you to not actually do
- 13:02it when the chance arises. And we see this with people on
- 13:05social media all the time. Well, let me ask you this.
- 13:10Who do you think? Because this was a question
- 13:13towards the end of the video, I wanted observers as well as
- 13:16people to give their opinion on which group do they think would
- 13:21be more willful towards making that compromise or sacrifice
- 13:25with their existence over the other.
- 13:30Right. And I guess it would also be
- 13:33influenced by your quality of life.
- 13:35Like, I don't know if you've seen the movie Gran Torino, but
- 13:39that movie kind of plays into this a little bit because Clint
- 13:44Eastwood's character is an old man.
- 13:46His wife just died. He finds out he's dying of
- 13:49cancer while he's simultaneously trying to protect these
- 13:54children, these Korean children who are his next door neighbors.
- 13:58He's trying to protect them from being, you know, harassed and
- 14:03hurt and ultimately maybe even killed by this gang of Koreans
- 14:07that are running around the neighborhood terrorizing
- 14:09everyone. And so Clint Eastwood decides
- 14:13that in order to give those Korean neighbors of his a chance
- 14:17at a normal life, and in order to put away these Korean gang
- 14:22members once and for all, and because he's going to die in a
- 14:24matter of months anyway, he decides to sacrifice himself in
- 14:29the lion's den of the gang members where he dies.
- 14:33Out in public, getting gunned down in front of lots of
- 14:36witnesses so that when the police come and the rest of the
- 14:39gang members, there's lots of witnesses and they're going away
- 14:42for basically the rest of their lives.
- 14:45So he was willing to make that sacrifice and from his
- 14:48perspective it made sense because he was going to die
- 14:51anyway, so he might as well do something good on the way out.
- 14:57And I don't know what will be going on with an atheist if they
- 15:01were in that scenario. It's fair enough.
- 15:07Fair enough. See, I look at society, what's
- 15:10happening now with all this stuff being taught in classrooms
- 15:15with non believers knowing that there's young people watching
- 15:18them, and then yet they promote and endorse drugs or things that
- 15:21are dangerous to children on a daily basis.
- 15:25And I I don't know. I scratched my head and
- 15:28wondered, do they even care about anybody?
- 15:30Do they even care about their own families?
- 15:33Sometimes I see videos where they just just ever living hell
- 15:36out of everybody, including God. And I'm just curious if there's
- 15:40any amount of redeemable value there where they would make a
- 15:44sacrifice for someone else. You know what I'm talking about.
- 15:47The narcissism, the arrogance just doesn't.
- 15:51It doesn't sense our smell of sacrifice.
- 15:56Exactly. Do you know a Raul Akari?
- 16:00I do not. If they want to tell us who they
- 16:03are in private chat, that would make it a little bit easier for
- 16:06them to be involved in the conversation, I suspect.
- 16:09Well, I could also do this. So, Raul, how are you doing?
- 16:17I'm doing pretty good. I'm not sure if you can hear me.
- 16:19Hello. Oh, I can hear you just fine.
- 16:23All right. I mean, I'd chipped in on my.
- 16:26First Brett Stream. And these these racist atheists,
- 16:31they call them like mean words. I feel real bad.
- 16:35So I wanted to say my sympathy is with you.
- 16:38Brett sounds like he's kind of tickled by it.
- 16:44What's what's? What's your theological
- 16:46disposition? Oh, I'm Catholic.
- 16:51Not sure about you guys. You're not sure about what our
- 16:56views are? Oh well, I.
- 16:58I just said I was a new viewer. Sorry, I see.
- 17:04Well, I'm a Christian and Brett is a believer in God, although
- 17:09that kind of, well, the way that looks kind of changes over time
- 17:14depending upon how he's feeling. Or what if you if you don't mind
- 17:19me asking you a question, since you're Catholic, would you be
- 17:23able to tell me what disciple is buried near one of the churches
- 17:28in Rome? I don't know what it's.
- 17:35What do you mean? I see?
- 17:38Well, a Catholic would know that it's Peter that is allegedly
- 17:41buried next to the church. You know The Rock.
- 17:45Yeah. Yeah, I we get.
- 17:50We get a lot of atheist trolls who are more than willing to
- 17:53pose as Christians. That's the reason why I test
- 17:56people. I mean, that's a fairpoint.
- 17:59It just so. Happens that you're a fucking
- 18:02faggot. Brett Keene, you're a fucking
- 18:04thank you. I appreciate that.
- 18:06God bless you all. Right.
- 18:09Well, let's see. Let's do this.
- 18:12So what do you think about my argument about atheists not
- 18:15willing to sacrifice or compromise for the innocence of
- 18:19children? Because obviously that wouldn't
- 18:21have been very tasty for any kids watching, right?
- 18:25Now you know somehow I I don't know what it is about him, but I
- 18:29don't get the impression he would have made that sacrifice.
- 18:33Adam says this. Spidey D Senses were tingling.
- 18:36Goodness gracious, Adam is a he. As you know he believes in God
- 18:41now and he's also for the longest time.
- 18:44When he was a non believer I told him that it's very possible
- 18:48he could be a prophet even when he was claiming to be a skeptic
- 18:51because he always seemed to know when one of these jerk offs were
- 18:54going to go haywire army and hopefully he'll join the
- 18:57conversation and and put the gaydar on so he knows when
- 19:01something like this is about to happen.
- 19:04Well, Adam is Adam is more than welcome to join the stream.
- 19:09I know on Rumble and on, oh wait, I didn't put it on the
- 19:12quarter chat. I know on Rumble in the live
- 19:15chat I have the stream link and on quarter I'm about to post it
- 19:20and I know you just shared it in the YouTube chat.
- 19:24I gotta, I gotta say, TTOR, that I'm extremely happy to be
- 19:28hanging out with you and doing this show, but I'm 100 times
- 19:32more happy now that I've seen that Adam Lower is out there as
- 19:35well 'cause I've been worried about him.
- 19:37He's had, he was having some issues for a while and I haven't
- 19:40heard from him. This the first time, seeing him
- 19:43in a long time. So I'm really, really happy I'm
- 19:46hanging out with two of my favorite people.
- 19:49Yeah, I'm glad you're here too, especially after you recently
- 19:52put out that video about the depression that you have been
- 19:55dealing with recently. It's good to see you getting on
- 19:58live streams and talking with people.
- 20:00I'm hoping that it's helping out with that.
- 20:02That is actually, it is actually helping.
- 20:05Sometimes the depression can last for a couple days,
- 20:09sometimes it'll go for a few months.
- 20:11That's one of the reasons why I used to in the past where I just
- 20:14shut everything down and go away.
- 20:16But people have told me, Brett, don't, don't shut down your
- 20:19videos. Don't do that.
- 20:21Just go stick your head under a pillow.
- 20:22I have a damn cry, and then come back when you're ready and all
- 20:26that. But that's not the way I used to
- 20:28do it in the past. Now I'm listening.
- 20:30I listen to people. That's always a good approach.
- 20:34Now, just so you don't get ignored, Darkman 75, I see you
- 20:38on the Quarter chat. He says.
- 20:41Hello, TTOR, How are you this evening, my friend?
- 20:44Glad to see you too, Brett. Not a pleasant fellow, that Raul
- 20:48Akari. No kidding.
- 20:53No, that's another day in paradise when it comes to
- 20:56atheist kind of expected. I did hear a little bit of
- 20:59giggliness in his voice. And if the Catholic doesn't know
- 21:02about the Peter thing, then you then you know you're dealing
- 21:05with a fake. Yeah, I even know that.
- 21:10I've never been a Catholic and I know that most atheists, even
- 21:14though they claim to read the Bible, when you get somebody in
- 21:17here, ask them simple basic Sunday school questions.
- 21:20Ask them when the first time a rainbow was mentioned in the
- 21:23Bible and what was its significance.
- 21:26If they can't answer something as simple as that, get them a
- 21:29slap in the mouth and say head for the road Jack.
- 21:34So I did get some messages on Delta chat from Seeking the
- 21:38Truth, Josh. He said that he was waiting on
- 21:43the tow truck. His tire rod actually snapped on
- 21:46his car. He doesn't know if he'll be able
- 21:49to join tonight or not. I told him to keep me posted.
- 21:53So maybe he'll join us tonight. Maybe he won't.
- 21:56Just depends on when he gets home from this I guess.
- 22:00And I see Adam. That would be Adam Lohr.
- 22:04Hey, do you hear me? Yes, I.
- 22:07Hi. Do you hear me?
- 22:08It doesn't sound like Adam Lohr. Hi.
- 22:10Can you hear me? That doesn't sound like Adam
- 22:13Lohr. Hey, well, who is this?
- 22:17Adam. Yeah.
- 22:19Fuck. Kill kill.
- 22:20Do what I. Mean.
- 22:23Get him. Get rid of him.
- 22:24What a loser. OK, so going forward, I'm not
- 22:29going to allow anyone else in unless you confirm yourself in
- 22:35the private chat, like if you're the real Adam lore or the real
- 22:40Slip show. If you don't mind me, I I want
- 22:43to make sure that people realize this and and TTOR may not share
- 22:47my same views. If YouTube wasn't so hardcore in
- 22:50their terms of service and atheists weren't so ignorant to
- 22:53report videos that they deliberately try to violate, I
- 22:57would be more than happy for atheists to come up here and
- 22:59show their true colors and show your liberal views to everybody.
- 23:03I would be like sure, I'd let you have the damn mic as long as
- 23:06you want to just spell out as much hatred as you possibly
- 23:10want. But unfortunately, YouTube won't
- 23:12allow that freedom of speech that they so love for you to be
- 23:15able to show what an asshole you are.
- 23:18Go ahead. Yeah, it's pretty much the
- 23:20truth. I mean if this were only
- 23:22streaming to quarter and rumble and he was in here.
- 23:25You know, doing what he just did.
- 23:27I would let him keep going and then when he finally runs out of
- 23:30breath, I'd be like you done any more.
- 23:34Is there Chapter 2 to this book or what?
- 23:38But since we're re streaming to your YouTube channel, I don't
- 23:40want to risk that for you. It's all good.
- 23:43If it continues to happen and I feel like it's going to be a
- 23:46problem, I'll just post the the show to the radio.
- 23:49I planned on doing that anyway and I'll just tell people to go
- 23:52to wherever you posted the video.
- 23:54Sound good? Sounds good to me.
- 23:57Of course, the thing I'm really enjoying right now, and I
- 24:01enjoyed this last week too, is that the quarter live streaming
- 24:05seems to be working very, very well as far as from beginning to
- 24:10end. It's running smoothly and when
- 24:14you end the stream it actually saves to your channel and
- 24:16processes and uploads in a timely manner.
- 24:20Which, no offense to Josh, but that's something that was always
- 24:23a little off about Joshua TV, at least for like the last year I
- 24:28was using it is that it would stream perfectly fine, but it
- 24:32wouldn't save to your channel afterwards.
- 24:34And I couldn't. I never could understand why.
- 24:39Well, this is a good segue because you keep on bringing up
- 24:42Quarter. I'm sure that there's some
- 24:43people out there that know the alternative website rumble,
- 24:46which we'll be talking about. But why don't you tell the
- 24:49audience about what quarter is and give them a taste of what
- 24:53awesomeness is? So let me go ahead and just set
- 24:58up both tabs for this. I'll start with Rumble, since it
- 25:04is the lesser. OK, so Rumble, which is one of
- 25:10the platforms I'm streaming to right now, is the most popular
- 25:15YouTube alternative in the alt tech world that has emerged over
- 25:18the last six years. Basically, But oddly enough,
- 25:23Rumble has actually been online as a video sharing site since
- 25:28like 20/12/2013. The problem is, nobody really
- 25:33used it at all until a bunch of the Conservative.
- 25:37Establishment GOP people started using Rumble in like late 2019,
- 25:42early 2020, and then Rumble has been snowballing and building up
- 25:47momentum ever since. And it's even got to the point
- 25:50where it's been borderline on 200,000,000 site visitors a
- 25:54month for like the last four to six months, which is really
- 25:58impressive for a site that is not being used by, you know.
- 26:04It's not quite mainstream yet, but it's getting there.
- 26:07Although there was that study that recently came out where
- 26:10they basically did a demographic of the people who use Rumble,
- 26:15and they found that there's an awful lot of Democrats and
- 26:18independents who are using Rumble.
- 26:20As a matter of fact, they make up almost 2/3 of the Rumble
- 26:23people in terms of who uses Rumble as a creator and as a
- 26:27viewer. I do got to say that one of my
- 26:31only major complaints about Rumble is this.
- 26:34It's taken a long time for it to it's synced up with my YouTube
- 26:39channel, it takes a long time for my videos to process over
- 26:42there, which is a lot like Odyssey they used.
- 26:46They still do that. I think unless they're wait a
- 26:49minute, I got an e-mail from Odyssey, they're going down.
- 26:52I don't know if you heard that or got your e-mail.
- 26:55I heard they were becoming like public, like Rumble is Well that
- 27:01was their ambition, that was their dream.
- 27:03But they said something about they were needing money, are
- 27:06there are they were going to be going out of business or
- 27:09something like that. They need more support.
- 27:12You know, they're pulling the whole bit shoot thing now.
- 27:14I could have swore that when we talked about them and promoted
- 27:17them a while back, weren't they like a chain block?
- 27:20You don't require all that server space and money and all.
- 27:24That do you? Yeah, Odyssey.
- 27:30I don't think it's actually blockchain because they have the
- 27:33ability to censor people's material content.
- 27:37Even on the library thing which is supposed to be blockchain, If
- 27:41it was really blockchain, you wouldn't be able to censor it.
- 27:44You wouldn't be able to remove people's content for policy
- 27:47reasons. But the fact that they are able
- 27:49to do so proves that they're not blockchain.
- 27:53So I've noticed also in Rumble, the kind of content that does
- 27:57get me views. I do have a couple videos that
- 27:59have like 800 views, and then a majority of them are like
- 28:03between zero and five. Gamer videos seem to do well on
- 28:08that thing. And also if you talk about like
- 28:11the taboo stuff, let's just say about some sickness that
- 28:16happened a while back. I'm not going to say anything
- 28:19else, but that seemed to get a lot of people's attention
- 28:22whenever I put that out there. Yeah, I've noticed that too.
- 28:28Although the one channel you have that has like 17 Subs, that
- 28:31one actually got like 40 some plus views on both of your last
- 28:35two uploads there. I think if you were to upload
- 28:38your videos to that Channel in particular, you actually
- 28:42probably could grow that one. I could see I got one channel
- 28:46that is synced and apparently rumble you were talking about a
- 28:50friend earlier that wasn't able to get the name that they
- 28:53wanted. I was able to get GOD TV Radio
- 28:56Show and Brett Keene show. They made that to where I've got
- 29:00that as official name. But they won't let me have my I
- 29:04hate YouTube with a passion name and I don't know why that is.
- 29:09Well, you know how on YouTube, if you reach like 100,000 Subs
- 29:13or whatever, you become eligible to become Verified, which is
- 29:16basically just them putting a check mark next to your channel
- 29:19name so that people know you're the real you and not someone
- 29:23pretending to be you? That's the verification that
- 29:26Rumble is actually denying him. According to Rumble's standards
- 29:32for getting Verified, you either have to have 1000 subscribers on
- 29:37Rumble. To get verified or you have to
- 29:40have 500 Subs on Rumble and a significant following on another
- 29:44social media site, which in Josh's case Seeking the Truths
- 29:48case. He has almost 3000 Subs on
- 29:51Rumble and he has almost 35,000 followers on X, formerly known
- 29:57as Twitter. So by their standards, he's way
- 30:00overqualified to be verified on Rumble.
- 30:04You know, like a check mark next to his name as a verified
- 30:07creator. But they actually sent him an
- 30:09e-mail back when he applied for verification, and they told him
- 30:13that he wasn't eligible to be verified.
- 30:16Wow, that's crazy. I have.
- 30:19To ask Screen, but I I don't have his tweets at the moment.
- 30:23See, I know TTR that you are big into the whole censorship and
- 30:27tech stuff that's going on out there.
- 30:29You report everything that's being heard.
- 30:31But there's one thing that you haven't talked about in your
- 30:34videos yet that I thought for sure would set you on fire.
- 30:37And I'd love to hear Adam's view on this as well.
- 30:40Have you heard what Nikki Haley wants to do?
- 30:43You know that woman that's wanting to become the the
- 30:46president of the United States? She's not going to, but she's
- 30:49got some pretty interesting ideas.
- 30:51She wants to make it to where everybody has to be verified on
- 30:55the Internet. Now, I personally, I put my real
- 30:59name out there, and you said your name countless times.
- 31:02Does it bother you at all that all the trolls in the world
- 31:06would have to actually be identified and put the real name
- 31:10out there whenever they post content?
- 31:13What's your thoughts? But before I give you my
- 31:16thoughts on that, I just like to say to Darkman 75 on quarter, I
- 31:20see all your comments. Yep, those people are pretty
- 31:23childish. But Darkman 75 on quarter said,
- 31:27just want to say one of the reasons I enjoy quarter more and
- 31:30more is due to how I have a tech.
- 31:33When I have a tech issue, I report it and it gets handled in
- 31:35a timely fashion, which is true. I me and Josh try to fix things
- 31:39as quick as we can on quarter. And then he said hello, nice to
- 31:43meet you, Adam. Heard you on a few of Brett's
- 31:45streams. You're pretty level headed and I
- 31:49appreciate your commentary on quarter.
- 31:51I'm I'm just glad that now that I'm live streaming on quarter, I
- 31:54actually have someone who's watching me live and actually
- 31:56commenting through it. It's nice to actually be able to
- 31:59read comments on a stream on my own site.
- 32:02But in response to your question now, what's my thoughts on Nikki
- 32:05Haley saying that we shouldn't allow people to be anonymous on
- 32:08the Internet? Most of the points that you've
- 32:11well, all the points you brought up were good and or made sense.
- 32:16But there's one thing about that issue I'm surprised you didn't
- 32:19bring up, Brett, and that's the issue of former Muslims.
- 32:23You see former Muslims and especially the ones who live in
- 32:26Muslim countries where Sharia law is in effect, they can't
- 32:29express their apostasy. They can't say, hey, I'm not a
- 32:33Muslim anymore, I'm now atheist, Christian, whatever, because the
- 32:37penalty for apostasy in Islam. As death.
- 32:41And So what a lot of these former Muslims do is in their
- 32:45real life, they have to pretend to be a Muslim still to avoid
- 32:49being killed. But on the Internet, they create
- 32:52an anonymous account and they are able to express their true
- 32:56selves as far as how they feel about Islam and what their world
- 33:00view actually is. And that's how a lot of the
- 33:03former Muslims are able to basically vent and talk about.
- 33:08All of these things without being killed for leaving Islam,
- 33:11and how a lot of them can share their testimonies about being a
- 33:14former Muslim on the Internet without being killed in real
- 33:18life, is being anonymous on the Internet.
- 33:20Being able to have an anonymous account is very important for
- 33:24that. And so while I get that Nikki
- 33:27Haley's idea, if it was ever implemented, whether by her or
- 33:30someone else, would definitely kill off the troll problem that
- 33:34you have, or at least greatly reduce it.
- 33:37Or I do the same for people going through similar things.
- 33:41It would also make it far easier for Muslims to kill former
- 33:46Muslims for leaving the religion because they wouldn't be able to
- 33:49hide their true identity on the Internet and therefore safely
- 33:53express themselves. So because of stuff like that, I
- 33:58would not want Haley's idea to come to fruition, even though
- 34:02there are some upsides to it. Like you pointed out, it would
- 34:05also help with. The bot issues we see too.
- 34:09But there's a reason why being anonymous on the Internet is so
- 34:13important why it should be allowed.
- 34:14And the former Muslims are the how about the example?
- 34:18Let's how about this TPR 'cause you You raised some excellent
- 34:22points and stuff. I I unfortunately and sadly did
- 34:25not even think about what some of these former Muslims are
- 34:28going through and imagine it's not just Muslims, right?
- 34:32There's non believers that live over in those countries.
- 34:35They'd get wasted. Homosexuals would get wasted.
- 34:37We don't want that. That's a good point.
- 34:40How about this? Instead of doing like 3 strikes
- 34:43on one of these websites where they remove people, instead tell
- 34:47them if you reach the three strike limit, if you're abusing
- 34:50the system, then you must be verified.
- 34:53How about that? They get three strikes and then
- 34:55they have to be verified. That would be better.
- 35:01People can volunteer to do it, but you get 3 strikes if you're
- 35:05abusing the system. Yeah, I mean, that would be
- 35:09better, of course. The problem is who's in charge
- 35:12with such a system. And if you have woke lefties and
- 35:15globalists running such a system, they will make up some
- 35:19BS that will force you to, you know, that's.
- 35:22True. Tell people who you really are
- 35:24so that yeah I your idea is better.
- 35:26I will give you that. It's just.
- 35:28In the real world, you have to think about who would be in
- 35:31charge of these policies and who'd be running them now as a
- 35:35policy on quarter, even though it's not a policy right now.
- 35:39That's something I would consider because I know myself.
- 35:43I know that I would be true to the policy and I wouldn't
- 35:46subjectively, you know, give people strikes just so I could
- 35:49force them to reveal their real identity.
- 35:51I wouldn't do that. But a lot of the local lefties
- 35:54and people in Silicon Valley who run things, they absolutely
- 35:57would. And.
- 35:58Yeah, that's that's the problem I think of.
- 36:01So I mean, I like your idea. It's not that I think it's bad.
- 36:04It's just when I think about the practical way of doing it,
- 36:08that's where it gets messy. That is an excellent point.
- 36:11That is true. I mean, we got a government
- 36:14that's screwing Trump through the mud and everything like that
- 36:17and screwing people over left and right.
- 36:20Yeah, I mean, Twitter's better now because of Elon Musk, but if
- 36:24it was just a year ago, Oh yeah, you're right.
- 36:28You're right. All right folks, you get to hide
- 36:31for now. And since we already talked
- 36:36about Rumble and you asked me to here is quarter which is an open
- 36:42source alt tech alternative to YouTube that I started year and
- 36:46a half ago almost to the day actually.
- 36:49And basically the way it works is it's very similar to YouTube
- 36:54in terms of the functionality you would want.
- 36:56So you have full HD video upload capacity including 4K
- 37:01resolution. And there's also live streaming,
- 37:04which I'm doing right now to quarter and it works great.
- 37:08I'm not doing this feature right now, but in the future I
- 37:11probably will. Quarter also gives you the
- 37:13ability to restream to any streaming site on the Internet
- 37:18for free. Oh my God, TTR.
- 37:22That's Shadowgate. That old Nintendo game.
- 37:25Oh, I love that game. Goodness gracious, you got some
- 37:27good content up there. Yeah, Darkman 75 recently did a
- 37:32series playing that game, and I put part one on the recommended
- 37:36tab on top. Oh, by the way, Adam, I know
- 37:38that it's you this time because I'm looking at the way you spell
- 37:43and capitalize your words and use proper grammar.
- 37:46That's definitely Adam. Well, that and he hasn't
- 37:49shattered the N word yet, despite.
- 37:51Yeah. Maybe the last 10 minutes.
- 37:53I was going to like tell you like 2 to the 16 is 65,536 or
- 37:59something like something that these retarded trolls couldn't
- 38:02just like say, right? Yeah.
- 38:09Brett, I wanted to say thank you.
- 38:11I appreciate what you were saying earlier.
- 38:12I have. You know, I I got past a
- 38:15difficult time in my life and I've been away for a while and
- 38:17it was a lot I was going through, so I haven't really
- 38:20kind of popped my head up much on the Internet.
- 38:22So it's good to ask about you, Adam and I have also missed you.
- 38:30Believe it or not, Adam, it does really.
- 38:32It puts a smile on my face. It makes me happy whenever I see
- 38:35you present and all that. You always have make things
- 38:38enjoyable. Same for you 2 TTURI don't know
- 38:40what I'd do with that. You two.
- 38:42I might go in the damn coat closet.
- 38:44Just get it over with. A few guys weren't around.
- 38:47Well, is that doesn't happen while we're around.
- 38:50I'm cool with being the support. But yeah, with the all the
- 38:55trolling and stuff like it's like, man, I'm I'm going to hop
- 38:58on this stream and it's just like, you know, it's, I don't
- 39:01know, it's such a toxic environment with people like
- 39:03they want to just there's people out there who just want to like
- 39:06destroy your mood, you know, My wife has asked me on a couple of
- 39:11occasions. She goes you're the sweetest man
- 39:13there is. How is it possible?
- 39:15Why do you think that happens? And I say, honey, I'm a shit
- 39:19magnet. What are you going to do?
- 39:21No. So you're Stevens in other.
- 39:24Words. Real quick too.
- 39:26Hey, shout out to creationist Crybaby.
- 39:30Yep, I did see creationist. Crybaby in there, As a matter of
- 39:33fact. Wobooski.
- 39:35There he is. But yeah, on the topic, just
- 39:39real quick, I'll kind of chime in.
- 39:40I don't have too much to say, but I do think if it's like if
- 39:44you're talking about rumble or YouTube or something and you can
- 39:49verify. That someone is a real person
- 39:51with their real name. I think if there's just a a
- 39:54category where you can do that and you can kind of see this
- 39:58person is using their real name, which means that this other
- 40:01person probably or possibly isn't if they're not verified, I
- 40:05think that would be like kind of a fair and convenient thing.
- 40:09But it sounds like you guys were saying like you would get almost
- 40:12like strikes or something for for acting like you weren't your
- 40:17real stuff or how how what is the strike thing you were
- 40:19saying? Like if somebody was one of the
- 40:22things I pointed out in my video and stuff, and I'm probably
- 40:25going to have to retract some of the statements.
- 40:27I have a video that's going to premiere on Friday where I
- 40:30really, really hit every reason why.
- 40:34And not to vote for Nikki Haley, but to some of her ideas I
- 40:37thought were interesting on how to deal with the Internet.
- 40:40But I I think that I was thinking too much about my own
- 40:44personal problems and I didn't think about the whole Islam and
- 40:48the ex former this. And you know that the gays that
- 40:52would have to suffer if they were exposed on the Internet by,
- 40:56you know, Muslims and all that. I didn't think about a lot of
- 40:59that stuff. I made a lot of good points for
- 41:00myself, but definitely I should have put a lot more thought into
- 41:05it. So I have to probably retract it
- 41:06later. That's fine.
- 41:09I mean, it's not like you were totally off base.
- 41:12It's just yeah, you have to think about the.
- 41:15Total picture. And yeah, when you do, it gets
- 41:18messy. I couldn't help but when I heard
- 41:21her saying she was going to expose all these people, I was
- 41:24salivating. I was like, yeah, I didn't even
- 41:28think about all that. The bigger picture.
- 41:30You're right, man. Yeah, she's been getting the
- 41:32middle finger from a lot of the popular news commenters on
- 41:36YouTube for saying that. So I I've.
- 41:41I've. Definitely been on their side,
- 41:44although less vulgar about it. So how's Corder been doing?
- 41:49Obviously I've got some videos posted up there.
- 41:52Is there any way in the future that you would be able to make
- 41:56some kind of feature where I can sync up my my channel and all
- 42:00that so I don't have to like put 500 videos over there and all
- 42:04that? There's one other thing I was
- 42:06wondering. I've noticed that some sites
- 42:09that are like this, they not only have the ability to upload
- 42:11MP fours and all this, but they can also do audio files which
- 42:16would really help me out. I haven't advertised this on
- 42:20quarter, but you can actually upload audio files too.
- 42:25Well, you got to tell me what format.
- 42:27You can't just leave me salivating.
- 42:30Well, I'm pretty sure any of your basic formats would work.
- 42:33I'd have to look into it more, but.
- 42:36Like if it's just an MP3 file, it's going to work, you know?
- 42:40Does it change? Obviously, since it's not a
- 42:42video, is it going to change the way the frame is going to look
- 42:46around it? Well, I'll have to actually try
- 42:49it out myself because I've never tried uploading an audio file to
- 42:52my own site. But my thought at the moment is
- 42:56if you upload an audio file and then you set a thumbnail to it,
- 43:01my thought would be that the thumbnail would be what's on
- 43:04screen while the audio is rolling.
- 43:05But. I don't actually know until I
- 43:08try. So So what about you Adam?
- 43:10Quarter's a a good site and Rumble's got a real nice clean
- 43:14interface and all that. Have you thought about putting
- 43:16some of your make up strictly like art thing and stuff and put
- 43:20your content over there? Rumble may actually for the kind
- 43:25of views you were getting on your channel, Adam, you might
- 43:28actually get paid enough to at least buy some bubble gum if you
- 43:31use a rumble. What?
- 43:34What is the like payment system on Rumble?
- 43:39Well, rumble doesn't make you go through some stupid partnership
- 43:42thing. As long as you're getting the
- 43:43views and you know support from your audience or whatever you're
- 43:47able to you eventually you're inevitably supposed to make some
- 43:51money. Now I'll be honest with you, I'm
- 43:53not one of these assholes on YouTube, Google ID and tell you
- 43:56that you're making $1,000,000. I'm making just enough to get a
- 43:59pack of cigarettes if I were still smoking.
- 44:02Yeah, a pack of bubble gum and maybe a small snicker bar.
- 44:06So that's what you're looking at there.
- 44:07But at least it's something, right?
- 44:09There we go. Is there is there kind of like I
- 44:12haven't checked out rumble too much?
- 44:14Or is there like a right wing connotation to go in on rumble?
- 44:17No, they just did a study. Recently where they basically
- 44:20did a a look at the demographics of Rumble, as far as the
- 44:24creators on it, the people watching videos there to see
- 44:27what their political world views would be.
- 44:29Republicans are actually the smallest demographic on there,
- 44:32even though they constitute the biggest channels.
- 44:35On there for the most part. Oh, interesting, because it does
- 44:37seem like Republican conservative right wing channels
- 44:41are the ones that tend to get in trouble and then they got to go
- 44:44somewhere else. So it kind of makes sense that
- 44:46there's more just, you know, the ones that I'm aware of are more
- 44:49like right wing stuff over there, but I I haven't tumbled
- 44:52out that much. There's actually more Democrats
- 44:55than Republicans on Rumble apparently now and if you add
- 44:59the if you add independence and non affiliated together, it
- 45:05actually makes up like almost 2/3 of the site.
- 45:09So So yeah, it's a very it's a very mixed crowd when it comes
- 45:15to Rumble's viewers. So it's not a right wing site.
- 45:19It's not a woke lefty site like YouTube is primarily.
- 45:23And it's not a site that caters exclusively to Independence
- 45:27Oregon, other parties. It's it's a nice bag as far as
- 45:31who makes up the audience, which is ideally what you want.
- 45:34You want some of everybody on your site, and that's something
- 45:37that sites like Bit Shoot and YouTube and New Tube and other
- 45:42sites of the past. Even though some of them are
- 45:45pretty nice and I have no problems with some of them, they
- 45:48just haven't succeeded in getting a diverse audience in
- 45:51the way that Rumble has. And I'm hoping to do the same on
- 45:54quarter. I'd like to have a diverse
- 45:56audience, although I realize I can't control who exactly will
- 46:01actually sign up and use my site.
- 46:04So you just kind of hope for things to work out in that
- 46:07regard. Well, there's, I have a feeling
- 46:10that you're probably going to see a more excessive amount of
- 46:13people hitting your site here in the near future.
- 46:17And the reason why, and I think Rumble's going to go up in
- 46:20success because the election, the elections coming up.
- 46:23And when that is happening, this is the time that liberals panic
- 46:26and they start wanting to shut everybody down.
- 46:29Twitter's going to get bigger. Everything's going to get
- 46:31bigger. But YouTube's going to get
- 46:33nasty. Google's going to get rough.
- 46:35They're going to start killing things in the search engine.
- 46:37You're going to see people going away into the vast blueness of
- 46:42the sky. So yeah, you're right.
- 46:48But just to stay on topic. In addition to having the full
- 46:53HD capacity including four K in addition to live streaming, in
- 46:57addition to free re streaming on quarter, there's also a public
- 47:01playlist which is something that most YouTube alternatives don't
- 47:03have. There's also an analytics
- 47:06dashboard that you can use, which most YouTube alternatives
- 47:10do not have at all. And also there is video chat
- 47:15rooms that you can create on quarter where you can not only.
- 47:19You just have video chats with friends, family, coworkers,
- 47:22etcetera. But you can also live stream to
- 47:24your channel from these rooms, just like YouTube used to do
- 47:28when they had Google Hangouts built into the site.
- 47:30Oh, that's cool. And then there's all that
- 47:33feature. And there's also.
- 47:37There's also the ability to write articles on quarter, which
- 47:40is kind of like the community posts you can do on YouTube, but
- 47:44it's way more robust. Like it's got an actual text
- 47:47editor box and you can change fonts and thickness of the text
- 47:52and lines and you can actually put in HTML code.
- 47:56So you could not only embed quarter videos into your
- 48:00articles on Quarter, you can embed videos from pretty much
- 48:03any site you want on the Internet.
- 48:05Into your articles on quarter, which would be especially useful
- 48:09if you were making a quarter article about someone's video
- 48:13from another site and you wanted to embed that video into the
- 48:16article. Basically, as long as that video
- 48:19from that site has some kind of embeddable HTML, you could embed
- 48:23these article these videos into quarter articles, which is great
- 48:28because on YouTube you can only, you know, attach YouTube videos
- 48:31to your posts. So.
- 48:32I feel like the articles feature, while I haven't really
- 48:35used it, it is way more robust and would be far more useful for
- 48:39sharing a written social media post than the community pages on
- 48:43YouTube would be. I've been meaning to tell you,
- 48:46TTOR, I appreciate the video that you made whenever I got my
- 48:50cute little strike on my channel, which by the way, is
- 48:53supposed to go way towards the end of December.
- 48:56It'll be my only Christmas present I've ever received from
- 48:58Google. That's if they don't screw me
- 49:00again. But I do appreciate the video.
- 49:03That was Adam. I don't know if you heard what
- 49:06happened. A very unusual thing happened to
- 49:09my channel. Yeah, I saw a lot of that.
- 49:12I didn't catch the whole thing, but I I was watching.
- 49:16Steven did an interview the other day with you right about
- 49:18that. Like Proverbs and it was what
- 49:22you, like mentioned of movie or something.
- 49:24Or someone played a trailer in the background or something.
- 49:30Yeah, I was talking to a Christian guy called Mr. Stumps.
- 49:33I call him Captain Stump. I always oh, yes, Stump is
- 49:35awesome. Yeah, and Stump is awesome.
- 49:38We were he, I I mostly let him take over the show where he
- 49:43talked about his interpretation of Genesis, temptation, lust,
- 49:47all that kind of stuff. Well, an atheist came in and was
- 49:51sitting there with his mic wide open and I had to keep telling
- 49:54the guy, can you turn down? He goes, well, I got a question
- 49:56for you Brett. Is there any movies or music
- 49:59that you're checking out or are you going to watch in the
- 50:02future? And I talked for like 2 minutes
- 50:04about it. Now there's only two options I
- 50:07can think of and why I got my strike.
- 50:10Either this little bastard ended up going and looking on YouTube
- 50:13for one of the movies that I was talking about and either
- 50:16unintentionally played it really quietly, but somehow the AI
- 50:20still picked it up on Google, or the AI heard me talking about it
- 50:25and smoked me for it. That's the only thing I can
- 50:28think. Of Yeah, that's crazy.
- 50:31I think that happened to a lot of big channels were just like
- 50:33some random thing and they just completely lose everything.
- 50:36And Brett's second possibility is why I made the decision to
- 50:40stream only to rumble and quarter at this point for my own
- 50:44streams. I don't think I can get your
- 50:48stream taken down and get you a strike on YouTube.
- 50:51Then. There's no point in streaming
- 50:53there if that can happen. No, it's it's completely out of
- 50:57control of the censorship and just like getting channels taken
- 51:00down for just random stuff. It's like it's crazy.
- 51:03It's like one of those, like science fiction novels about the
- 51:06future gets all crazy. Like, that's what it makes me
- 51:08think of it is. It's absolutely crazy and stuff.
- 51:12And if it's going to happen to somebody like me for just
- 51:15talking about it, and that's one thing I don't get.
- 51:18I I've noticed that there's people out there who do entire
- 51:21reaction videos where they'll play an entire song, play the
- 51:25entire video, and nothing happens to them.
- 51:28YouTube will actually feature them, get millions of
- 51:31subscribers doing that. But if I simply talk about it,
- 51:34are you kidding me? Stevens said that there is 1/3
- 51:38option because the movie I was speaking about, the subject
- 51:41matter was about demonic possession.
- 51:44He was concerned that Satan got me.
- 51:46I was like, no, I said it's a Christian movie station that
- 51:50made it so, you know, based upon what they believed to be a like
- 51:54a true deal or something. So I I don't think that was the
- 51:57case. No, Satan.
- 52:02I don't know if Satan's got his own Internet connection.
- 52:05I think that he uses atheists to get on the Internet.
- 52:07He has his own. He has his own.
- 52:10Gmail account and stuff. Or he just hijacks the minds and
- 52:14souls of the people who do use it.
- 52:16It seems like if these spirits, if they're there, if they did
- 52:20somehow access the Internet, it would just be like a a
- 52:23manifestation spiritually through, just like it would like
- 52:27hack into the energy of it or something.
- 52:30I hear you there. I hear you.
- 52:33Oh, and before I forget, one of the other cool things about
- 52:37quarter is that I have this little thing called Quarter
- 52:41Bucks. Some people originally thought
- 52:44when I rolled it out that it was a cryptocurrency I had made.
- 52:48Let's not go there. It's not that it's literally
- 52:51just a point system that I call Quarter Bucks, but it works
- 52:56like. A cryptocurrency because you get
- 52:59like a certain amount of a of 1/4 buck every time you get a
- 53:02view. And so the way it works on
- 53:04quarter is that if you upload videos to your quarter channel
- 53:08and you share your videos and they get views, you get a
- 53:12certain amount of 1/4 buck on each view.
- 53:15So naturally if you get a lot of views on your quarter videos.
- 53:20You'll build quarter bucks up quickly and then in turn you can
- 53:24use your quarter bucks to either promote your entire channel or
- 53:27just one of your videos on the front page of the site near the
- 53:31top PTORI. We got dark moon out here.
- 53:35I don't know if you're able to see the people's comments that
- 53:38are on my YouTube. I am Darkman's on Quarter and
- 53:41your chat. Oh wow, that's pretty awesome.
- 53:44Well, he was talking about how he lost trust and he does gaming
- 53:47videos and all that kind of stuff.
- 53:49You mind if I share a very short story?
- 53:52This will either disgust you or you'll laugh and to the point
- 53:55you piss your pants. But I had a buddy a while back.
- 53:59Adam knows this cause Adam used to watch me back in the day
- 54:01whenever I was still a former non believer.
- 54:04And one of the ignorant things I used to do when I made videos
- 54:07was every once in a while, just out of the blue, I would belch.
- 54:10I just belch right in the middle of a very intense argument or
- 54:14debate. Well buddy of mine, he got
- 54:17inspired by that and he decided that every once in a while,
- 54:20since I'm already taking up the belch in category, he was going
- 54:23to fart. So he did this and they actually
- 54:26copyright strike him for a fart. I kid you not.
- 54:30They said that he was taking sound effects and it wasn't.
- 54:34I seen him turn sideways and make that nasty and always it
- 54:38was him. Wait, Brett, Who did this?
- 54:43That's this guy. What did he call himself?
- 54:46Back then? He had this weird idea.
- 54:49His name was Jeff, but what was his ID that he had, What the ID
- 54:56was? This was a year ago.
- 55:00Yeah, he would. He would just sit there.
- 55:02He'd be talking and stuff. Nowadays.
- 55:05They got this other guy that they they really like to watch.
- 55:08But I would never do this. There's a big old guy that likes
- 55:11to play video games and he just sits there and shits his pants
- 55:13and twitch and people love that. He really does that.
- 55:16TTURI kid you not, just sits there and shits his pants.
- 55:20Don't even bother to get up. It reminds me of a damn World of
- 55:23Warcraft South Park cartoon. I was going to say that reminds
- 55:28me of the South Park episode where they're all playing
- 55:30Warcraft all the time and they can't even be bothered to get
- 55:33out of their chairs. So they had chairs with holes in
- 55:36them and they had bedpans underneath their butts.
- 55:39And they every time they'd take a dump, the mom would come in
- 55:42and and clean out their bedpans. OK, And a lot of people try to
- 55:46encourage me. They say, Brett, you ought to
- 55:47watch it. It's funny.
- 55:48I'm like, why would I think it's funny for some obese guy sitting
- 55:52on a 1952 couch just shitting his pants while playing a video
- 55:56game? What?
- 55:57What even gives you the idea? I want to see that.
- 56:00Goodness gracious. Yeah, that's gross.
- 56:03Have you guys watched the Speaking of the South Park, the
- 56:05new the Pandaverse episode? Oh yeah, that was hilarious.
- 56:10Get a kick. Make sure he she's a lesbian.
- 56:18It was pretty good. T2 are are you familiar at all
- 56:22with what that is? It's like they they redid South
- 56:26Park where it's like Cartman is like a black African American
- 56:30woman. Yeah, aren't they basically
- 56:32making fun of the fact that, like all these woke Hollywood
- 56:35studios are replacing all these characters with diversity
- 56:40actors? Yeah, yeah.
- 56:41And it's like Kathleen Kennedy specifically, that's like
- 56:44fucking everything up and she's like out to like get Cartman and
- 56:48stuff. It's really good.
- 56:49It's funny. It was on so many levels.
- 56:50It was funny because it's also about like, you know,
- 56:54technology, like people relying on technology and can't like do
- 56:57anything. Like it's like on multiple
- 56:58levels. It is a really good one.
- 57:00Yeah, some South Park episodes are like that, and I may watch
- 57:04that one at some point. It's just really hard to have
- 57:06time to do all the things I'd like to do because I work full
- 57:10time as ATV producer at my church now, and especially this
- 57:14week, it's been really, really busy with that.
- 57:17And then, you know, I'm trying to do my own content and still
- 57:21make time for my girlfriend and family so that I don't have
- 57:24burnout. And yeah, it's it's hard to do
- 57:27everything and. Seeing that South Park episode
- 57:30is like as as cool as absolute would be to watch, it's pretty
- 57:33low on my To Do List. I think you are.
- 57:36I don't know if you realize this, Adam probably does.
- 57:39But you do realize there's some Christians out there, as well as
- 57:43atheists, who believe that South Park might actually have
- 57:46prophetic abilities to it. Do you know why I say that?
- 57:50They believe that a South Park has predicted a lot of things
- 57:54that have actually come true. But I thought that was a show
- 57:58that mostly just made fun of things that were already going
- 58:01on. Well, they've made fun of things
- 58:04that are happening in in culture and all that, but they were one
- 58:07of the first ones, and I believe The Simpsons, who actually
- 58:10predicted Trump as president long before Trump even said he
- 58:14wanted to be. So yeah, it was supposed to be a
- 58:17joke. It was supposed to be silly.
- 58:18But it happened. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's
- 58:23what they were all thinking at the time too, when they made
- 58:25those episodes. Like, yeah, this'll let's put
- 58:28someone in the office as president that would never do it
- 58:31in real life. They must have been doing like
- 58:36face palms when Trump won in 2016.
- 58:43Goodness, greatness. And I said 2016, not 2020.
- 58:47You hear that YouTube algorithm? So what else we got here with
- 58:55Corder and Rumble? You said you had some other
- 58:57stuff you wanted to share with us about Rumble.
- 59:01Wheel I already talked about Josh and what happened with him
- 59:07regarding Rumble, which is a travesty.
- 59:13The thing that concerns me about Rumble moving forward is.
- 59:18Not the fact that it's getting bigger and it's got a wide well,
- 59:22it's got a lot of people on it who definitely would.
- 59:27Well, they don't ideologically align with me.
- 59:29But that's not really a problem. The problem I have with Rumble
- 59:32is that it's already got a groundwork, a foundation for
- 59:36censoring people in the future. Like they have this policy where
- 59:41you're not allowed to be bigoted towards the Jews.
- 59:47It's an anti-Semitism policy and the problem is like the hate
- 59:50speech policies on YouTube and other big tech sites, it's
- 59:54worded so vaguely that basically it can be twisted to mean
- 59:58anything. So like if you were bigoted
- 1:00:02against Jews, well, I would trigger the policy, but if you
- 1:00:05were just critical about something the state of Israel
- 1:00:08did in relation to something they did towards a neighboring
- 1:00:11country. And I I'm not sure people out
- 1:00:19there that are listening you understand that TTOR isn't
- 1:00:23saying that he doesn't like the site because you can't be
- 1:00:25bigoted to Jews. It's The problem is, is whenever
- 1:00:28you criticize a group, sometimes these corporations, they take it
- 1:00:32as bigotry or they take it as you're being blah blah, blah
- 1:00:35when you're not, you just being critical of a group or something
- 1:00:39or viewer ideology. Exactly.
- 1:00:43And plus it could over time, once they get a lot big.
- 1:00:46If Rumble succeeds in getting big enough to the point where
- 1:00:49they actually supplant YouTube as the biggest video sharing
- 1:00:53site on the Internet, it would be really easy for them to slip
- 1:00:57into doing all of the draconian policies that YouTube is already
- 1:01:02doing. You know what I mean?
- 1:01:05We've already seen it happen with all the other sites,
- 1:01:08haven't we? Especially with Bit Shoot, which
- 1:01:11before Rumble explode into where it is now.
- 1:01:14Bit Shoot was the biggest site in the all tech world and was on
- 1:01:18its way slowly to shirt, but surely to become a site like
- 1:01:21Rumble is now. The problem is multiple fold
- 1:01:24though of bit shoes. One they started censoring
- 1:01:27people just like YouTube does. They started rolling out
- 1:01:29policies just like YouTube's draconian ones.
- 1:01:33Including a policy that said that they could censor you even
- 1:01:36if your content didn't violate their community guidelines or
- 1:01:40TOS, and that they could retroactively go back and make a
- 1:01:45new policy to justify retroactively banning you even
- 1:01:49though when they banned you it wasn't a policy at the time.
- 1:01:53Weird stuff like that. And they also didn't keep their
- 1:01:57promises. Because all the way back to like
- 1:01:592018-2019 they swore on a stack of Bibles that we're going to
- 1:02:04roll out HD video upload capacity and live streaming in
- 1:02:08public playlists and all the stuff that's been available on
- 1:02:11quarter since I started the site.
- 1:02:14But even after getting all the money that they got, like we're
- 1:02:19probably talking a couple $1,000,000 in fan donations over
- 1:02:22the course of a couple years. Like, way more than enough money
- 1:02:26to deliver on their promises instead.
- 1:02:30And the CEO of Rum of Bit Shoot himself, Ray Vahey, actually
- 1:02:35told me this. They use the money instead on
- 1:02:39office spaces and equipment for office staff and paying office
- 1:02:44staff. They spent none of the donations
- 1:02:48on improving the actual infrastructure or the features
- 1:02:51of their site, which is what they had promised.
- 1:02:54On their donation pages. But that's what they would do
- 1:02:56with your money. Yeah, a lot of people are
- 1:03:00capitalizing. They they see that a lot of
- 1:03:03people are getting screwed looking for alternatives.
- 1:03:05So they basically they act like a genie lamp, you know, whatever
- 1:03:09you want, we've got it here, you know.
- 1:03:11But as soon as they start getting rich, as soon as they
- 1:03:14start getting greedy, all of a sudden they start pulling the
- 1:03:17same draconian nonsense that YouTube's doing.
- 1:03:21And then when I talked to Josh about the stuff that she was
- 1:03:24doing and the donations they were asking for, he was able to
- 1:03:28show me, and I now know this through live experience with
- 1:03:31quarter. It's actually a lot cheaper to
- 1:03:34have a fully functional video site on the level of YouTube.
- 1:03:40Where the costs can rise is with having servers for storing
- 1:03:45videos and servers for encoding videos at a pace that is you
- 1:03:50know. Fast and not slow, that's where
- 1:03:54things can get more costly as far as cost, but it doesn't cost
- 1:03:58hundreds of thousands, millions of dollars to start up a fully
- 1:04:02developed YouTube alternative. You can start one up like I did
- 1:04:07for 100 bucks in a month. Of course now I think my costs
- 1:04:11on quarter is about, I think it's about $230 a month I'm at
- 1:04:18right now as far as what I'm paying.
- 1:04:20Because I have the encoding server that I upgraded, I got my
- 1:04:24main server and then I just bought some new some more disk
- 1:04:29space for the main server because we're having issues with
- 1:04:32disk space disk space after a year and a half and so I'm
- 1:04:36getting that resolved now. But what does?
- 1:04:40What does a person do whenever they're trying to host a good
- 1:04:44video sharing site? A lot of these phones and
- 1:04:48computers, they're all set up with apps that already direct
- 1:04:51you towards YouTube and direct you towards all this stuff where
- 1:04:55you can listen to it, watch it, yadda yadda.
- 1:04:58But if somebody, I mean we watched a while back where gab,
- 1:05:02for two years they struggled just to get something out there.
- 1:05:06And then their app was basically canceled like a couple months
- 1:05:09down the line because the news media said, oh, this guy allows
- 1:05:13too much racism and crap on there.
- 1:05:15So how do people survive in this type of nonsense?
- 1:05:20Well, the app stores are pretty controlled.
- 1:05:24As a matter of fact, Google's App Store and Apple's App Store
- 1:05:28control 95% of the app marketplace.
- 1:05:31And So what a lot of alt tech sites started doing is they
- 1:05:35actually used their website script and created a what they
- 1:05:40call it, like it's an app. But you can.
- 1:05:48That's what it is, a progressive web app.
- 1:05:49That's what it's called. It functions just like a regular
- 1:05:52app, but instead of getting it through an App Store, what you
- 1:05:55do is you go to an Internet browser and you install it to
- 1:05:58your device from the browser, and then it installs an app for
- 1:06:03that website on your phone, on your browser, on your tablet,
- 1:06:08etcetera. It functions like an actual app,
- 1:06:11but it's not an app from an App Store.
- 1:06:15It's literally just, you know, from your browser.
- 1:06:18I know that people become complacent, though.
- 1:06:21The the typical audience, they're going to want it to
- 1:06:24where it's just a matter of clicking on a button and not
- 1:06:26having to go through any instructions, no matter how you
- 1:06:29get them. I can't think you are.
- 1:06:31I can't even get these idiots to click a link and go to rumble
- 1:06:34and stuff. Yeah, I I just can't.
- 1:06:37And it makes me think two things.
- 1:06:39Either they're not paying attention or some of the views
- 1:06:42that I've got are not real. How is it possible that they're
- 1:06:46not actually going to the alternative sites when they know
- 1:06:49I'm in trouble? Yeah, it's a lot of laziness on
- 1:06:53their part, but as far as what I was talking about though,
- 1:06:56there's actually most of the sites I use.
- 1:06:59Are they are built as progressive web apps now?
- 1:07:02So like Gab and True Social and Post and Getter and well I guess
- 1:07:09Bit Shoot has its own actual app.
- 1:07:11But YouTube is billed as a progressive web app.
- 1:07:13Joshua TV is quarter is even Twitter X, even X is a
- 1:07:19progressive web app now you don't actually have to download
- 1:07:24that app anymore off of the App Store.
- 1:07:26You can just. Download the progressive web app
- 1:07:29version of it from your web browser.
- 1:07:31A lot of people are starting to turn their social media sites,
- 1:07:35video sharing sites, into progressive web apps because app
- 1:07:38stores can't control that Until they find a way to, you know,
- 1:07:44control web browsers at that level so that you can't just
- 1:07:47Willy nilly download any old progressive web app onto your
- 1:07:49phone. Well, you remember what I.
- 1:07:52Heard the way to go. You remember what I did the bit
- 1:07:54shoot a while back? That whole test thing that I do
- 1:07:57on any alternative video site that I go to.
- 1:08:01I'll I'll try to put I didn't do this to you because I already
- 1:08:04knew you're a good guy and all that.
- 1:08:05But when Elon Musk took over Twitter and all that, I went
- 1:08:09over to Rumble. I deliberately put the most, one
- 1:08:12of the most hardcore things I could think of and Rumble to see
- 1:08:15what they would do to me. And I went over to Twitter and I
- 1:08:18got really abrasive with some people that really deserved it
- 1:08:21and all that. Just to see if I was going to
- 1:08:24have that speech that they were talking about.
- 1:08:26Just enough to be snarky and piss a few people off.
- 1:08:29Not enough to be hateful, but just to see if they were really
- 1:08:33going to stand behind what they were talking about.
- 1:08:35And so far, so good. I'm still alive.
- 1:08:38You're still alive. Oh my goodness, that's amazing.
- 1:08:43They must be real free speech advocates if Brett Keene is
- 1:08:46still alive, Yeah. Although it's funny, the video
- 1:08:54that you're talking about on Rumble, the one that mentions,
- 1:08:56you know, certain medical things and a certain Cheeto man.
- 1:09:03That video actually has almost 1000 views on Rebel.
- 1:09:07I know that I was like, wow, that's that's pretty cool.
- 1:09:10I was just waiting for any day for that thing to get knocked
- 1:09:13down. But you're the one that actually
- 1:09:16suggests you, said Brad, if you go over there, you'd be able to
- 1:09:18talk about some more things. But it's been so long since I've
- 1:09:23just been able to fully unleash, you know, that it's it's weird,
- 1:09:27I've I've kind of unfortunately, I feel like I've been on the
- 1:09:31leash so long it's hard to be able to just really let loose
- 1:09:35like I would have done years ago and stuff.
- 1:09:37But I'll work on it. Yeah, I I'm kind of learning
- 1:09:41myself with Rumble and and quarter this will be true to an
- 1:09:46even greater extent too since these sites are growing.
- 1:09:51You know, my side especially has a lot of room to grow.
- 1:09:55If you're going to stream to these sites and not to YouTube
- 1:09:58due to how unreliable YouTube is, I think the best way to make
- 1:10:01that a feasible thing going forward is to be able to either
- 1:10:05one have a lot of topics to talk about on you know on your own
- 1:10:09hand so that you can at least go an hour and you know not be have
- 1:10:13like a two-minute stream. But the other thing you can do
- 1:10:16to make the streams bearable and to be able to do it to an
- 1:10:20alternative like Rumble or Quarter going forward is to have
- 1:10:23content creator friends. Who you can get together with
- 1:10:26and talk about stuff together with like we're doing now.
- 1:10:29See if I'm able to do this every Thursday night where I have at
- 1:10:33least one, if not two or three other guests on the stream with
- 1:10:37me. I'll be able to stream to rumble
- 1:10:40and quarter quite comfortably for the foreseeable future.
- 1:10:43And YouTube won't even be a thought in my head as far as
- 1:10:46streaming goes. If I can do one of those two
- 1:10:48things every week, I think that's going to be.
- 1:10:52That's going to be generally true.
- 1:10:53I think going forward, for anyone who's serious about not
- 1:10:56streaming to YouTube due to the wackadoodle way that they
- 1:10:59enforce things and streaming to an alternative like rumble or
- 1:11:03quarter or whatever, you got to do one of those two things in
- 1:11:06order to make that something that you can do for a long time
- 1:11:10and not go cuckoo crazy. You know, as I haven't looked
- 1:11:14yet at the connection section and stream yards, but do they
- 1:11:18have the ability where you can just click on rumble and connect
- 1:11:21your account or do you got to go through some BS?
- 1:11:24You have to put it in through the custom destination option,
- 1:11:28which is what I'm doing now, the restream key and all that kind
- 1:11:32of stuff. Yeah 'cause, like on Stream
- 1:11:35Yard, Let me see, cause. Yeah, well you can create a
- 1:11:40destination on your Stream Yard account.
- 1:11:43And there's an option to create custom destinations and all you
- 1:11:46do is you put in the stream URL the stream key from those from
- 1:11:51that site and then you have a nickname spot where you can put
- 1:11:54the name of the site and then you just hit save and that's
- 1:11:57your destination. You know what I might do?
- 1:12:02I might contact that damn stream yards and say, hey, why don't
- 1:12:06you put some more connections on it or have one be rumble and all
- 1:12:10that and see if we can do it like that.
- 1:12:14Yeah, I I have no problem with having as a custom destination.
- 1:12:17My only complaint I have with rumble live streaming is that
- 1:12:22every time you create a new stream, it has a different
- 1:12:25stream URL and a different stream key.
- 1:12:28So every time I do a stream on here, I literally have to go
- 1:12:32grab this specific stream URL and key from the specific rumble
- 1:12:37stream and put it in my rumble destination every time and.
- 1:12:41That part's a little annoying, but that's actually a rumble
- 1:12:44problem and not a stream yard problem.
- 1:12:48Fair enough. Well, Adam, what you've been up
- 1:12:50to, mate? Yeah, sorry.
- 1:12:55I was in the middle of eating dinner, but just muting so it
- 1:12:59wasn't truing. But I don't know.
- 1:13:02I don't have, I don't know if I have much to add about the
- 1:13:04rumble stuff. I haven't really checked it out.
- 1:13:08Like I have a little bit, but I won't.
- 1:13:09I've only really known of like. Maybe one or two people that
- 1:13:12went over there temporarily and I kind of watched some of the
- 1:13:15videos, but I don't like stay on there, you know?
- 1:13:20But I don't know, it does seem like more and more people are
- 1:13:23going over there. There are more and more people
- 1:13:26going over there, and there are some pretty popular people who
- 1:13:29are not part of the GOP establishment that are over
- 1:13:33there as well. And there's enough new creators
- 1:13:35that I like on Rumble that I'm actually.
- 1:13:38To have to make more of an effort to watch videos on Rumble
- 1:13:40instead of somewhere else, I I I do think that you're going to
- 1:13:44start seeing a bigger amount of people going over, definitely
- 1:13:47towards election. But the other problem is, is
- 1:13:50that the left has gotten so extreme that it's to the point
- 1:13:54where even if you are a leftist yourself, if you disagree with
- 1:13:59the the corporations on anything or the people they consider you
- 1:14:04right just for, you know, if you disagree or you had a bad day,
- 1:14:08you woke up on the wrong side of the cage, you're screwed.
- 1:14:12That's how it is nowadays. It's there's no left and right
- 1:14:15anymore. If you don't agree with us, then
- 1:14:17you're then you have to be the enemy.
- 1:14:20That's how they see it. Yep, that's pretty much true.
- 1:14:25But a more immediate problem, like a momentary problem there
- 1:14:29there is with Rumble, is that even though there are some
- 1:14:32popular creators over there. Most people's favorite creators
- 1:14:36are still on YouTube and pretty much not anywhere else.
- 1:14:41So even if you go to Rumble because you know you like the
- 1:14:44idea of a YouTube alternative and there's maybe a couple of
- 1:14:47guys over there that you like to watch and you watch their videos
- 1:14:50there, there's not. There's usually not enough of
- 1:14:53people's favorite creators over on Rumble to keep them over
- 1:14:57there all the time, and most of their favorite creators are
- 1:15:00still on YouTube. And So what happens is generally
- 1:15:02after like a month or two. Or maybe a little longer.
- 1:15:06A lot of people will naturally fall away from watching creators
- 1:15:10they like on Rumble and go back to watching people they like on
- 1:15:14YouTube because most of their favorite creators are still
- 1:15:16there. And so that's kind of going to
- 1:15:18be a problem too, going forward until more and more people get
- 1:15:22on Rumble or any other site to the point that they become
- 1:15:25mainstream. That's just the way it's going
- 1:15:28to be for a long time, unfortunately.
- 1:15:32Yeah, I had a pop up recently. Today I got 2 pop ups actually.
- 1:15:38Apparently YouTube changed its terms of service again and
- 1:15:41they're making it real clear they're going after certain
- 1:15:45groups of people. And then what was the other
- 1:15:47thing? Oh yeah, I got a pop up on my
- 1:15:50latest live show, TTOR. Apparently YouTube felt it was
- 1:15:54important to explain to my audience that the Earth is not
- 1:15:58flat because somebody mentioned it on the show.
- 1:16:03Yeah, that's always the darndest things.
- 1:16:06I mean, it's a video sharing site.
- 1:16:08You're supposed to be able to say what you think and feel,
- 1:16:11even if it's wrong. We don't need the website itself
- 1:16:15to just come up right behind us and go, this person is wrong.
- 1:16:19Look at this Wikipedia article that says he's wrong.
- 1:16:22Of course, the irony of that is that Wikipedia articles can be
- 1:16:27edited by basically anybody who's allowed to edit them.
- 1:16:31And they can be wrong too. So yeah, and it's it's sad too
- 1:16:37because 90% of the people that were on the show, they didn't
- 1:16:41believe in the Flat Earth. They go along with my idea that
- 1:16:44the earth is pizza shaped, but still you got that one person
- 1:16:48that just mentions it for a little bit and we get a pop up.
- 1:16:52Now I know YouTube doesn't. They're not sitting there
- 1:16:55watching my videos so that has to be AI they they pick up.
- 1:16:59Have you noticed if you look on your own videos and click the
- 1:17:03caption, it is now creating subtitles for you.
- 1:17:07So the AI is able to read that text, and anything that you say
- 1:17:10in your voice is picked up. Boom, you're gone.
- 1:17:14Yeah, Brett, I think earlier you encapsulate it so perfectly by
- 1:17:18you, you use the term draconian, right?
- 1:17:21It's like the perfect term for what we're experiencing here.
- 1:17:24You mentioned climate change or something.
- 1:17:26It's like just automatically get this warning label.
- 1:17:29It's so just weird. Like, I don't know, I think it's
- 1:17:33terrible. I think it's like one of the
- 1:17:34worst things, like this is really bad.
- 1:17:37And then if it keeps, it's obviously seems like it's just
- 1:17:39going to get worse and there's not much anyone can do about it
- 1:17:43because it's just like we have no control over it.
- 1:17:46And the great irony about them using Wikipedia to disprove
- 1:17:50people. Is that when I was growing up in
- 1:17:54elementary school, middle school, high school, and even my
- 1:17:57college years, we were always told by our teachers and
- 1:18:00professors to never use Wikipedia as a source of
- 1:18:04information, ever, because of the open source nature of how
- 1:18:09it's built and how anyone can edit and add things to it.
- 1:18:13And yet that's the source of information.
- 1:18:16That YouTube holds up as being the authoritative information on
- 1:18:20a topic I I don't know about. You guys.
- 1:18:24But it's that that's been that's baffled my mind for years when
- 1:18:29they started doing that or like when I think it was the New York
- 1:18:33Times couple years back that literally told people to.
- 1:18:38You don't do any kind of critical thinking or reasoning,
- 1:18:42just literally believe whatever Wikipedia says on a scientific
- 1:18:46or political topic and just accept it.
- 1:18:49I was like, what for? For a 90s kid like me when I see
- 1:18:57Wikipedia being used as an authoritative source of
- 1:19:01information to disprove people on youth on the Internet.
- 1:19:05After I spent my whole life being told it's not
- 1:19:07authoritative and you shouldn't even use it in a research paper,
- 1:19:12it just blows my 90s person mind I guess.
- 1:19:14Well it's not There's even there's even scientists out
- 1:19:18there that have spoken about the nonsense of Wikipedia, me and
- 1:19:23Adam. We talked about this a while
- 1:19:25back. Neil deGrasse Tyson ended up
- 1:19:27getting screwed up by Wikipedia. Did you hear about that at TTR?
- 1:19:31Yeah, I saw a video or two on your channel where you talked
- 1:19:34about it. I just said for briefly for the
- 1:19:38audience out there that may not have known this because we don't
- 1:19:41have to sit there. A 20 minute blathering video
- 1:19:43done by myself. But the deal was, is that Neil
- 1:19:46deGrasse Tyson never claimed to actually be an atheist.
- 1:19:50But there were atheists who were able to go into Wikipedia and
- 1:19:53edit it and then basically claim the man as their own.
- 1:19:57Well, he ends up getting on big think and he says, look, the
- 1:20:00only IST I am is a scientist. I'm not any of that nonsense.
- 1:20:05Yeah, for in the beginning, Neil deGrasse Tyson swiped at
- 1:20:08religion a couple times, but now he's gotten more moderate on
- 1:20:12that. I don't know if you guys seen
- 1:20:14recently Speaking of Neil deGrasse Tyson, did you see the
- 1:20:17embarrassing thing that happened between him and Bill Maher?
- 1:20:20I was curious if you guys seen that what you thought?
- 1:20:23No. Well, people are basically
- 1:20:27saying that Neil deGrasse Tyson isn't always cracked up to be.
- 1:20:31There's some people are even going so far as saying he's an
- 1:20:33idiot. He got into an argument about
- 1:20:36some of the stuff that's being taught in schools nowadays, and
- 1:20:40Neil is unfortunately on the wrong side of history on that.
- 1:20:44And he faced Bill Maher. And Bill Maher's having this,
- 1:20:47like, weird, like a revelation nowadays, if you've noticed.
- 1:20:55Well, Bill Maher definitely has had a problem with the local
- 1:20:58lefties for years. But.
- 1:21:00I I, I haven't been paying enough attention to him lately
- 1:21:03to really notice what you're talking about, unfortunately.
- 1:21:07Well, Bill Maher basically told Neil deGrasse Tyson.
- 1:21:10He says, look, people look up to you.
- 1:21:12You're supposed to be the science guy type of deal.
- 1:21:15You're the one that's supposed to be, you know, correcting
- 1:21:18people when they come up with stupid ideas and all that.
- 1:21:21And unfortunately, Neil decided to go into one of his
- 1:21:24narcissistic, arrogant, babbling rants that made absolutely no
- 1:21:29sense. And now there's a lot of people
- 1:21:30making videos saying, this guy, he's a dumbass.
- 1:21:33Maybe you ought to go back to the Cosmos and just get the hell
- 1:21:36out of the conversation about, you know, this culture crap
- 1:21:39that's going on. Right.
- 1:21:41Yeah, 'cause I know, I know. I did that.
- 1:21:43Same thing, like, he just became very political about all this
- 1:21:47political agenda stuff. It's not.
- 1:21:49It's like, why do the atheist scientists have to be talking
- 1:21:53about genders and all this stuff?
- 1:21:55Like, I don't know, it's weird. Yeah, I I even did a video
- 1:22:00recently where I exposed him for that video rant he did where he
- 1:22:05literally said that your feelings trump biological
- 1:22:09realities when it comes to the trans issue.
- 1:22:11I'm like, that's not a very science based approach there
- 1:22:15fella. No, I.
- 1:22:17Mean talking about the biology? Of it or something that would
- 1:22:20make sense, like, you know, talking about chromosomes and
- 1:22:22stuff. That's science, but just getting
- 1:22:24into. No, he literally said, feeling
- 1:22:27he. Well, he didn't say it
- 1:22:28specifically, but he implied it heavily that feelings trump
- 1:22:32facts when it comes to the trans issue.
- 1:22:36In terms of biology, well, that that's one of the issues he had
- 1:22:40with Bill Maher. One of the stupid statements
- 1:22:42that he made is he goes, what's the problem, Bill?
- 1:22:45If I wake up tomorrow and I shave my mustache and put on
- 1:22:49some lipstick and he went into graphic detail about dressing up
- 1:22:53in a pink Tutu and all this, and I'm like, OK, you went on for 10
- 1:22:57minutes about that. What's the point now?
- 1:22:59And then he's, you know, trying to, he did exactly what you're
- 1:23:03talking about, where it's about feelings and all that and Bill
- 1:23:06Margo's, that's great. But what about the actual facts
- 1:23:09of it? And it just got it kept on being
- 1:23:11emotional. I'll have to check.
- 1:23:15That out. Oh, and since you brought it up
- 1:23:17earlier, Brad, as far as Neil deGrasse Tyson and the whole
- 1:23:20issue with. Wikipedia, where they were lying
- 1:23:23about him being an atheist for so long.
- 1:23:26I had another fun Wikipedia story to share.
- 1:23:30One of the other problems about Wikipedia and its open source
- 1:23:33nature it's that it's really easy to hide the truth about
- 1:23:37certain topics if it starts to become inconvenient for you.
- 1:23:41As a matter of fact, earlier this year I did a video about
- 1:23:46how. The abiogenesis article on
- 1:23:49Wikipedia was edited so that the word evolutionary was removed
- 1:23:54from its description, because previously the article said that
- 1:23:58abiogenesis was an evolutionary process.
- 1:24:02But then I started exposing how the article said that to
- 1:24:06atheists and evolutionists over and over and over again at that
- 1:24:10point of earlier this year and before.
- 1:24:13And then one day I went through the article again and realized.
- 1:24:17The article was changed and no longer says it's an evolutionary
- 1:24:21process, It just says it's a process.
- 1:24:24But then you go to the evolution page on Wikipedia and it still
- 1:24:27says that abiogenesis is part of evolution.
- 1:24:31Yeah. And that's one of the reasons
- 1:24:33why TTOR as well as Adam, when we've gotten into discussions
- 1:24:37with them about abiogenesis and evolution, why you hear so many
- 1:24:41atheists nowadays who are saying, and it's usually the
- 1:24:44younger ones that are that ain't been around long enough to be
- 1:24:47literate about this shit, but they're the first ones that be
- 1:24:50like abiogenesis has nothing to do with evolution.
- 1:24:53They don't realize it's the transition into the process and
- 1:24:56all that. And it's like, oh man, I got to
- 1:24:59explain this And luckily for us, Google, they haven't gotten
- 1:25:04around to screwing with that yet.
- 1:25:06That still shows up at the top. It shows that it's part of the
- 1:25:09evolutionary process. But yeah, Wikipedia, man,
- 1:25:12they'll they'll try to clean all that up because they know
- 1:25:15they're getting their ass flipped over that.
- 1:25:20If a if a Biogenesis isn't part of like if you want to
- 1:25:24categorize that as part of evolution, what would it be
- 1:25:27categorized as? Just its own thing.
- 1:25:30Let's put it this way, if abiogenesis doesn't happen,
- 1:25:34evolution doesn't happen. Well, I could.
- 1:25:38I don't. I mean I can see why in a debate
- 1:25:40people don't want to get into a Biogenesis because it's just
- 1:25:43kind of like it's a difficult thing to defend because it's so
- 1:25:48unknown still. But to me it seems like if that
- 1:25:52if the if a Biogenesis is a chemical process that occurs and
- 1:25:55after that you get the the whole chain of evolution.
- 1:26:01It's like that's like the starting point of evolution as
- 1:26:03far as I'm concerned. But I mean, I can see kind of
- 1:26:05drawing the line of like if you're trying to debate about it
- 1:26:08and you're like, look, let's debate about the part after the
- 1:26:11Biogenesis part, because that's like kind of a whole different
- 1:26:13discussion. I can kind of see that.
- 1:26:15But to me, yeah, it does make sense that it's, it's an article
- 1:26:21about evolution. If you're reading a article
- 1:26:23about a Biogenesis, it's going to mention evolution.
- 1:26:25It's obviously like in the same category.
- 1:26:29It's surprising too. Oh, go ahead and keep you out.
- 1:26:32The article used to explicitly say though the abiogenesis was
- 1:26:37an evolutionary process. And then you go to the evolution
- 1:26:40page on Wikipedia and it has a little section in the history of
- 1:26:45evolution that has a Biogenesis listed on there as a clickable
- 1:26:50link that takes you to the abiogenesis article.
- 1:26:54So it's part of evolution whether they like it or not so.
- 1:26:58They don't really have a right to get angry at creationists or
- 1:27:01Christians. When creationists and Christians
- 1:27:03talk about it in a evolution versus creation debate.
- 1:27:06Yeah, I have the credit to Google for this.
- 1:27:09They do keep archives of the older dictionaries and you can
- 1:27:13still look into the definition. Like, right off the bat, if you
- 1:27:16type in abiogenesis definition, it'll say the original evolution
- 1:27:22of life or living organisms from inorganic or inanimate
- 1:27:26substances. So when you're talking to
- 1:27:29atheists about them coming from rocks, you're like, what the
- 1:27:31hell you talking about? Dinosaur farts, Monkeys on
- 1:27:34seaweed, surf in the oceans, What?
- 1:27:37What are you getting at? They they have no idea.
- 1:27:39And Adam, you've seen this yourself.
- 1:27:42I know TT. Oh, we've.
- 1:27:43Seen it a lot it it's gotten to the point where non believers
- 1:27:47think that evolution somehow they just turned into the monkey
- 1:27:50and then the man. They don't realize there's a big
- 1:27:53ass chain going backwards to the point where you're a fish and a
- 1:27:56booger and a rock. Not on the rock.
- 1:28:00I like the terminology I use, bro.
- 1:28:04I mean, I believe in all that shirt, but I I I do think it's
- 1:28:09just like losing in a debate. Like it's hard to defend a
- 1:28:12Biogenesis. So you have to, like, treat it
- 1:28:15as two separate things because you can't.
- 1:28:18Like right now, if they don't know how a Biogenesis occurred,
- 1:28:21you can't really win a debate about it.
- 1:28:25Now I find what Brett's talking about to be funny because you
- 1:28:28can see here on Google it gives you the dictionary definition of
- 1:28:33abiogenesis according to the Oxford dictionary.
- 1:28:37And definition number one is literally the original evolution
- 1:28:42of life or living organisms from inorganic or inanimate
- 1:28:46substances. Well if abiogenesis is the
- 1:28:49original evolution of life from from non life.
- 1:28:55Then that means it's part of evolution.
- 1:28:58Yeah. For anybody out there that's
- 1:29:00listening, you got to think about this.
- 1:29:02If we were to presuppose that this is how things actually
- 1:29:05happened, then there had to have been some kind of process for it
- 1:29:09to go from this, to be able to go through the changing cell.
- 1:29:12That's what it's talking about. Just imagine, suddenly the snot
- 1:29:16decides it wants to roller skate.
- 1:29:18That's basically what it's telling you.
- 1:29:21I feel like in a way it's a, it's kind of similar to a
- 1:29:24distinction between cosmology and astronomy.
- 1:29:30It's like you can't really have astronomy without cosmology, but
- 1:29:33it's just kind of like, it's kind of the level you've zoomed
- 1:29:36out of, how much of A scope you're dealing with is all that
- 1:29:38really the distinction is. It's not really two, it's
- 1:29:42definitely not two very different separate concepts,
- 1:29:46like they're totally interconnected completely.
- 1:29:51Yeah, which makes, in my opinion, makes it fair game for
- 1:29:54a debate with an evolutionist or an atheist, but they feel
- 1:29:58differently. But one thing I do want to touch
- 1:30:02on before I completely forget about it is Dark Moon 75 brought
- 1:30:07up a very good point earlier when we were talking about the
- 1:30:11lack of our favorite creators on Rumble and other sites, he said.
- 1:30:15If I find a favorite creator is uploading to another site
- 1:30:18instead of YouTube. I'll go and sub them and try to
- 1:30:21support them on the new platform.
- 1:30:24And there are not enough people like you, Dark Moon 75.
- 1:30:28Because if a lot more people did what you do when a new creator
- 1:30:33or like when a creator of yours that you like joins another
- 1:30:35platform and then you go and sub to them there and watch their
- 1:30:39content there instead of YouTube.
- 1:30:41If a lot more people did what you do, not only would these alt
- 1:30:45sites be even bigger than they are now.
- 1:30:49YouTube would very quickly become a thing of the past.
- 1:30:52Or they would have to change their ways.
- 1:30:54In order to be able to adapt. They'd have to be more open to
- 1:30:58people's views and ideas. That's the only way.
- 1:31:01But Google's too stupid for that anyway.
- 1:31:04Oh, I I wanted to advise you on something TTORI know that you
- 1:31:09are known for being TTOR and YouTube and all these sites, but
- 1:31:14just in case you want to, whenever you have a chance on
- 1:31:17rumble, make another channel called Quarter.
- 1:31:21That way people can't snatch it on you or use it for abuse later
- 1:31:26on. I will consider that I had
- 1:31:30someone else suggest something similar to me to how I should
- 1:31:33use YouTube and rumble and other popular video sites to have like
- 1:31:391/4 channel on them to wait as a way to advertise quarter.
- 1:31:44I may end up doing that. I'm still thinking about it.
- 1:31:47That'll take your time. Get done.
- 1:31:49Go ahead, Adam. How how many like channels and
- 1:31:54videos and stuff are on quarter at this point like roughly?
- 1:31:59That is a good question. Give me one second 'cause if I
- 1:32:03log in as the admin, I can actually tell you exactly how
- 1:32:07many uploads are on the. Site.
- 1:32:10And how many total video views are currently on the site?
- 1:32:14The numbers will sound underwhelming, but you also have
- 1:32:17to keep in mind that I am not popular.
- 1:32:23I don't have a budget for marketing and so I don't have
- 1:32:25like the same reach that a lot of people would.
- 1:32:30But I know that there is currently 119 registered users
- 1:32:36on the. Site.
- 1:32:36Oh, wow. Which is?
- 1:32:38Not that to me seems like pretty good for your own website like.
- 1:32:43Over 100 people on. The main thing that's keeping
- 1:32:46the number as low as it is though, is the lack of popular
- 1:32:51people on the site promoting it because in.
- 1:32:54Order for me. That seems like a pretty high
- 1:32:56number though. That's good for you.
- 1:32:57Just doing your own kind of small independent thing that's
- 1:33:00that's good. That team?
- 1:33:01That seems higher than I would have guessed, at least.
- 1:33:05Yeah, It's not loading up here unfortunately.
- 1:33:08Having some issues of quarter at the moment.
- 1:33:11Related to the disk space issue, I mentioned way earlier in the
- 1:33:14stream, but I think there's like I want to say, there's roughly
- 1:33:201700 uploads on quarter and the. Total.
- 1:33:25And the total amount of video views for all the videos put
- 1:33:28together I think is around, I want to say like 5253 thousand
- 1:33:34total video views, like a lot of the early videos from prior to
- 1:33:39six months ago. Have like 100 and 5200 several
- 1:33:44100 views and I think my most viewed video on quarter
- 1:33:47currently has over 3000 views. But.
- 1:33:52But yeah, about six months ago, roughly, search engines started
- 1:33:56censoring their algorithms so that my website doesn't show up
- 1:34:01as much. Because we went from getting
- 1:34:03those kind of views on quarter videos for like the first year
- 1:34:07to now, you're lucky if you can get 10 views.
- 1:34:11We got a dark moon, he says. If evolution is actually a
- 1:34:16thing, just to respond to him before it gets away from us, he
- 1:34:19says. If evolution is actually a thing
- 1:34:21and we're all supposed to be descended from apes, and why do
- 1:34:24you never see apes suddenly giving birth to human babies?
- 1:34:28That's kind of like the Tim Allen question.
- 1:34:31A guy like Richard Dawkins, to play devil's advocate, would
- 1:34:34probably say that the changes are so minuscule and so small
- 1:34:39and take so much damn time that your peanut butter would come to
- 1:34:42life before you ever even see a change.
- 1:34:45So that's the way it is. Yeah, You got to go through
- 1:34:48multiple generations before you grow wings and and fly around.
- 1:34:52Brett, as you always want to do. You got to wait.
- 1:34:55It's going to be your great, great, great, great, great,
- 1:34:57great, great, great, great, great, great great grandchildren
- 1:34:59that can do it. Not not you.
- 1:35:00That's a family may survive to, you know, evolve.
- 1:35:04Yeah. But Dark Moon also brought up
- 1:35:07something that is a sad truth as well.
- 1:35:10A lot of the users on quarter are also not active users
- 1:35:14unfortunately. So like I have 119 registered
- 1:35:17users, I'd say the amount of active users is probably 7.
- 1:35:23Oh wow. Well, you're, I mean the the
- 1:35:25numbers you gave to me sound impressive for just use your one
- 1:35:29guy or two guys like starting your own website and everything.
- 1:35:33That seems like good numbers to me.
- 1:35:35Yeah, but the three of the seven active users are my TTOR
- 1:35:40channel, my gaming channel, and my church's channel.
- 1:35:44And then the other active users are like Dark Moon 75.
- 1:35:48They JTV. And then there's a new guy who
- 1:35:52just joined recently. He's like a Sonic the Hedgehog
- 1:35:55character for his avatar. I forget what his name is
- 1:35:59exactly. Apparently he's actually a furry
- 1:36:02Which. I find interesting that he
- 1:36:06joined Quarter. I don't even know how he found
- 1:36:07it, but. That would be funny if Quarter
- 1:36:09became like the hot spot for furry videos or something and
- 1:36:13you're like promoting, hey, no censorship, But then it's like,
- 1:36:17it's just like associated. With all the free things joined,
- 1:36:21here's a oh ATTOI know another way that you could boost the
- 1:36:26traffic or in the site if if you're capable of doing this
- 1:36:30here, I know you're intelligent, you can probably do it.
- 1:36:32You may want to talk to Josh about this but you were talking
- 1:36:36about embeds and frames and all this.
- 1:36:39Have you considered, since you have the ability to make MP
- 1:36:41threes and sound and waves and your audio formats work, to make
- 1:36:46it to where people can embed their Spotify or Amazon Music
- 1:36:50podcast and things like this? Because these companies are
- 1:36:53starting to get to the point where you can put videos on your
- 1:36:57on your digital radio. Now, Now if you can make it to
- 1:37:00where it does that, I'd be able to quickly be able to like post
- 1:37:04all kinds of stuff from Spotify, Amazon Music, you name it.
- 1:37:08Tons of different sites I have. To look into that because
- 1:37:12there's a lot of plugins on the back end of the a video script
- 1:37:17that I'm using. That are connected to stuff like
- 1:37:20that. I have to actually go back and
- 1:37:21look at what the plugins actually are because I think I
- 1:37:26did see something about Spotify or SoundCloud or whatever, but I
- 1:37:30don't remember what it was per Southeast.
- 1:37:32Well, it's, you know, we were talking about alternative video
- 1:37:35sites. Well, Spotify is taking a taking
- 1:37:38a hit at YouTube now because they just said, you know what,
- 1:37:42not only are we going to let people do their audio podcast,
- 1:37:45but we're going to let people do their videos.
- 1:37:47And within a year, Amazon Music, they've already stated they're
- 1:37:51going to pull out the red rug on that as well.
- 1:37:54So not only are you going to be competing with video sites, but
- 1:37:57now with all these radio sites are claiming to go video.
- 1:38:01I guess they were right back in the 80s when they said radio a
- 1:38:04video killed the radio, huh? And.
- 1:38:07Then radio became the video revenge, yes.
- 1:38:13And then no one listens to the radio.
- 1:38:17But now I definitely, now that you're talking about this, I'm
- 1:38:21definitely going to have to experiment with the MP3 sound
- 1:38:24functionality of our uploads on quarter just to see what it's
- 1:38:28like. Another another thing too.
- 1:38:31And you probably would find this acceptable even for yourself.
- 1:38:35But you know this as well as I that a lot of people when
- 1:38:39they're doing these videos, some people are wanting to make this
- 1:38:42their job. They want to make it to where
- 1:38:44this is the way they do it and YouTube hasn't capitalized on
- 1:38:47this. I don't know why, but two things
- 1:38:51people they these video sites should set it up to where people
- 1:38:54can do video responses to each other like YouTube used to.
- 1:38:57That's one thing that'll bring community together and make
- 1:39:00people excited about talking to each other.
- 1:39:02Kind of like a TikTok feel #2 make it to where there's that
- 1:39:07people have the ability to have their own buttons, like donate
- 1:39:11to cash app, donate to PayPal, and making sure it's big under
- 1:39:15their video for people to do that bitch.
- 1:39:17You kind of got smart about that.
- 1:39:20They put a big heart right? But that was about it.
- 1:39:23If if you could do that. Oh, that is another thing you
- 1:39:27can do on quarter. If you go to your account
- 1:39:30settings on your quarter account you'll find that there is a
- 1:39:35section that says Donation link and it's just a blank slot where
- 1:39:40you can put any link you want. So like if you have a PayPal
- 1:39:44account. Or you have like a Patreon or a
- 1:39:47subscribe star or a coffee account or name the donation
- 1:39:52site. If you have an account on there,
- 1:39:54you can literally take the link to your account, put it in that
- 1:39:58donation link slot on your quarter account.
- 1:40:01And then what happens is that when people go to watch your
- 1:40:04videos, a big green donate button shows up below the video
- 1:40:08player. You click on it and it takes you
- 1:40:11to whatever link you put in there and they can donate to
- 1:40:14you. However you want them to.
- 1:40:16Yeah, those buttons are important, Adam and TTR, because
- 1:40:20for some reason people like the sparkly stuff.
- 1:40:23They just, it's just too hard. There's a straining of muscle
- 1:40:27clicking links in the description.
- 1:40:29Oh, no, you know, that's just too much for them.
- 1:40:33Yeah. Unfortunately, the that feature
- 1:40:37I just described for the donate buttons on quarter and the
- 1:40:41usefulness of quarter bucks, it's not going to see its full
- 1:40:46potential come about until there's a lot more people using
- 1:40:49quarter, especially a lot more active users.
- 1:40:53But if quarter ever does get to the point where there's a lot of
- 1:40:55people using it, the monetization of the site is
- 1:40:59going to be very good for creators.
- 1:41:02One thing I haven't rolled out yet, but Josh knows how to do it
- 1:41:06and he would help me set it up in the future, is that quarter,
- 1:41:11when it's time will actually allow people to have their own
- 1:41:15banner ads on their videos and they'll be able to keep every
- 1:41:20cent they make. There's no middleman cut.
- 1:41:25It's way easy. So basically the way it works is
- 1:41:28you have to have an account with various kinds of like not ad
- 1:41:33agencies but like ad sites like Google AdSense or.
- 1:41:37Any. Alternative to that.
- 1:41:39And then, yeah, you make banner ads through that and you have
- 1:41:41your HTML code for your banner ad and you put it in where it
- 1:41:45needs to go. And then we approve it to make
- 1:41:48sure it's not for something illegal like porn or whatever.
- 1:41:51And then as long as it's not illegal content that's in the
- 1:41:55banner ad, then it gets approved and it'll show up on your
- 1:41:58videos. And if you happen to have a
- 1:42:00channel on quarter in the future that gets a lot of views, you
- 1:42:03can potentially get some good ad revenue from that.
- 1:42:06And unlike YouTube, you keep every sense.
- 1:42:08There's no middleman. There's no us taking a 30% cut
- 1:42:13or whatever so that we. Can.
- 1:42:14That's great. Do stuff.
- 1:42:17Yeah. Oh, I would Adam.
- 1:42:19Adam as well as TTR is wanting you guys opinion on this.
- 1:42:22You know I make a lot of religious based T-shirts and all
- 1:42:25that. I made one recently that really,
- 1:42:29really fits the mindset of atheists recently.
- 1:42:33And I think this one might actually be very successful.
- 1:42:36What do you think of that? You see the link?
- 1:42:37It's in private chat. Let me take a gander.
- 1:42:41Oh yeah, I saw that earlier today.
- 1:42:47What do you think of that? I think I can share it on screen
- 1:42:51and see why it would cause any problems.
- 1:42:57Oh, wow. We're going to have to ask Adam
- 1:43:00to what he thinks about the challenge video that I put
- 1:43:04forth. Something I.
- 1:43:05Didn't watch it? What?
- 1:43:08What is the You did like an atheist challenge or something,
- 1:43:10right? Well, OK, well TPUR is a lot
- 1:43:14quicker at explaining the challenge, and I would be if I
- 1:43:18try reiterating the TI, might as well just play the whole damn
- 1:43:21video. TTR, You want to explain to him
- 1:43:24the proposition and see where he goes with it.
- 1:43:28So Brett's video earlier today was a hypothetical situation
- 1:43:32where a terrorist group captures 2 atheist parents and their
- 1:43:38children, and then the same terrorist group captures 2
- 1:43:43Christian parents and their children.
- 1:43:46And then the sets of parents are given a choice.
- 1:43:48The atheist parents are given the choice that if they will
- 1:43:53sacrifice themselves willingly and die, the Christian children,
- 1:43:59the children of the Christian parents will get to go Scott
- 1:44:02free and live. And then the same is presented
- 1:44:05to the Christian parents. The Christian parents are given
- 1:44:08the choice that if they sacrifice themselves willingly,
- 1:44:11the children of the atheists can go away Scott free and live.
- 1:44:16And so Brett. And so Bret's question was, do
- 1:44:20you think the atheists would be willing to sacrifice themselves
- 1:44:24so that Christian children could live on?
- 1:44:27Or do you think that Christian parents would be willing to
- 1:44:30sacrifice themselves so that atheist children could live on?
- 1:44:35Real quick is is the sacrifice the parent is sacrificed or the
- 1:44:38parent and their children? The parent is sacrificed but but
- 1:44:44the children that get saved are the children from the other
- 1:44:46party, not their own. Now you have an option to say
- 1:44:50no, I'm not going to die for the Christian children, but that's
- 1:44:54for the atheist has to choose. Will they be willing to lose
- 1:44:57their life for the children that are Christian and the Christians
- 1:45:00have to choose if they'd be willing to die for the atheist
- 1:45:04children or the children that are children of atheist, If
- 1:45:07that's because there's not really no such thing as a
- 1:45:11atheist child and stuff, it's a it's a world view of position.
- 1:45:16So is the is the challenge like? Just like what do you think?
- 1:45:20What? How would you answer that or
- 1:45:22what do you think people would say it's?
- 1:45:25It's both exactly. It's very, very clear.
- 1:45:29I wanted to hear if they would sacrifice themselves for another
- 1:45:35people's children. Because I know that there's like
- 1:45:38this animosity for some folks out there, but I also wanted to
- 1:45:43know if it would get in the way if someone's religious or non
- 1:45:46believer, if they would be willing to sacrifice on that
- 1:45:50basis. But I also wanted observers
- 1:45:52outside of Christianity and atheism to really think who is
- 1:45:57most likely going to put their ass on the line.
- 1:46:01For kids that are most likely not going to be having that
- 1:46:05view. But I did end up throwing a
- 1:46:07little thing in there, like, hey, maybe the atheist kids will
- 1:46:10grow up and be Christian. Or maybe the Christian kids will
- 1:46:12grow up and be assholes. So I I did throw that little
- 1:46:16caveats out there. Well, I think it seems obvious
- 1:46:21to me that if this was a real scenario and there was like a
- 1:46:24group of you know, a whole several samples of this.
- 1:46:29That statistically the the Christians would be more likely
- 1:46:32to sacrifice to save the lives of other children than than
- 1:46:35atheists, like I think some atheists would.
- 1:46:37But statistically, I would guess that that Christians would be
- 1:46:44way more likely to do that. Well I got it.
- 1:46:47That's one of the that's what I obviously that was one of the
- 1:46:50things I. I wanted to hear people say what
- 1:46:53they think would happen, but I also would like it if he
- 1:46:56elaborated. Especially you.
- 1:46:58If you are, why do you think that the Christian is most
- 1:47:01likely to do that, but not the atheist?
- 1:47:04For well, Christians believe in Jesus, and Jesus willingly laid
- 1:47:12down his life even though he is God.
- 1:47:15He willingly laid down his life to pay for the sins of others so
- 1:47:20that they could have an opportunity to get right with
- 1:47:23God and spend eternity with him. So because we follow someone who
- 1:47:28literally offered himself up as a sacrifice for our sins, that
- 1:47:34would mean that a adherent to Christ would be more likely than
- 1:47:38an atheist to lay down his life to save someone else.
- 1:47:43See, I had a feeling that they were going to obviously that
- 1:47:47their Christians were going to correlate that.
- 1:47:49But I was also hoping that whenever non believers hear
- 1:47:52this, it may bring some more substance to the ones that don't
- 1:47:57understand Jesus's sacrifice in the 1st place.
- 1:48:00When you know it's now you making the sacrifice, it makes
- 1:48:03it personal. You see what I mean?
- 1:48:06Yeah. And the thing too, is that if an
- 1:48:08atheist chooses to sacrifice themselves, cool.
- 1:48:10But they don't have that kind of a role model.
- 1:48:14They don't have a religion that has a figurehead who was willing
- 1:48:19to sacrifice himself to save other people.
- 1:48:23So when they do it, it's kind of an anomaly because they don't
- 1:48:27have some kind of standard that's objective that would lead
- 1:48:32them to consider doing such an action, or considering such an
- 1:48:37such an action to be a noble thing.
- 1:48:39You know what I mean? Like there's no thing for them
- 1:48:43to follow that would cause them to be more likely to sacrifice
- 1:48:48themselves to save someone else's children.
- 1:48:51I think personally the the theme of sacrifice in Christianity
- 1:48:56seems less to me like it doesn't seem as much like the factor in
- 1:49:02why Christians would do that. Versus where I just think it's
- 1:49:05like more of a a propensity to do what is morally right, You
- 1:49:11know what I mean? I think that that you see that
- 1:49:13more in obviously not all Christians do that properly.
- 1:49:17Some people exploit religion and and use it to take advantage of
- 1:49:21people. But I think in general, genuine
- 1:49:23Christian Christians are generally going to just if
- 1:49:26you're going to do the right thing just because you're
- 1:49:29supposed to do the right thing in in atheism, you can have.
- 1:49:34You could have a bunch of people that feel that way, but it's
- 1:49:36like you said, it's almost just like a random anomaly.
- 1:49:39Like some will have that, Some like, fuck that.
- 1:49:41I'm not going to do that. Like, right.
- 1:49:43There is no, there's no objective moral standard that
- 1:49:45says this is right, this is wrong.
- 1:49:47I mean, they can literally do anything.
- 1:49:50And it's all equally valid because there's nothing above
- 1:49:53them that's outside the human mind to judge in any objective
- 1:49:57sense whether what they did was right or wrong.
- 1:50:00So yeah, they can literally do anything and it doesn't matter.
- 1:50:03And you know what's crazy is I think of a decent amount of
- 1:50:06atheists, If they watch the video and they heard the
- 1:50:09hypothetical, they would probably, even deep down inside,
- 1:50:13probably realize that a majority of people are probably going to
- 1:50:16go with the Christians would do this, they would die for their
- 1:50:20kids and all that. That's something to think about.
- 1:50:24But you know, I did have one atheist who left a comment and
- 1:50:27said, oh, I would in a heartbeat.
- 1:50:30And I'm like, really? Why would you do that?
- 1:50:32Do you have children yourself? And we talked about that
- 1:50:35comment, right? I asked this person to come in
- 1:50:38here and explain themselves. But somehow they've got
- 1:50:40technical difficulties suddenly and don't want to explain why it
- 1:50:44is they claim to have a son, they know what it's like to be a
- 1:50:48father, and they're willing to end themselves on this basis.
- 1:50:52And I'm wondering why? Why would they do that from
- 1:50:55their position? Yeah, I think that that makes
- 1:50:57the. The dilemma a little more
- 1:51:00difficult because it's at at first it does kind of sound like
- 1:51:03you're doing the right thing, but then it's like, yeah, what
- 1:51:05about you're leaving your own children behind?
- 1:51:09What, you know, I don't know. It is sort of an interesting
- 1:51:13moral dilemma because it's not. It's kind of like balancing out
- 1:51:18two things of which is like worse.
- 1:51:20It's not just like one thing because you would be leaving the
- 1:51:25children behind. That's a really.
- 1:51:27Devastating thing like that's like part a big part of it.
- 1:51:32It's it's devastating from on the parent thing too.
- 1:51:35But don't I I don't want people out there listening and thinking
- 1:51:38that I don't see how major of a sacrifice it would be for an
- 1:51:42atheist. Because if an atheist truly
- 1:51:45believes what they're talking about, which I don't believe a
- 1:51:47majority of them do, I believe a lot of them have some anger and
- 1:51:52some resentment. But to do this believing that
- 1:51:55there is no God. This means you'll never see your
- 1:51:58kids again. You will never have that life.
- 1:52:02You'll never be with the woman you love.
- 1:52:04It's over. You've made a pretty major
- 1:52:07sacrifice there and stuff, not only of yourself, but against
- 1:52:12your own loved ones. So why would you?
- 1:52:15Why would you think that that would be inherently the right
- 1:52:18thing to do? I'd love to hear that
- 1:52:19explanation. Brett What if you set it up
- 1:52:25where it's like Christians on one side and and like Muslims on
- 1:52:30the other side? Or like, you can have like
- 1:52:31different categories, you know, like Satanists or something.
- 1:52:35You know, like, would you? That might be something I would
- 1:52:38like. I don't know if people would
- 1:52:41sacrifice their lives for for Satanists.
- 1:52:47Well, there's some religious people out there who do believe
- 1:52:49that atheists act under Satan. There are Satanic atheists out
- 1:52:54there. So instead of going down this
- 1:52:57huge list of, you know, would you die for this and you die for
- 1:53:01that. I know for a fact and stuff one
- 1:53:04of the reasons why I have back injury TTR is cause a while
- 1:53:07back, whenever I was a young man I actually did run across the
- 1:53:10street to try to save a total stranger's kid cause the mother
- 1:53:15wasn't watching and I got hit by a car.
- 1:53:17You probably actually heard me ask atheists that question.
- 1:53:20Would you run out in front of a car not knowing if you're going
- 1:53:23to die to save a kid that you don't even know because the
- 1:53:26mother's too stupid to pay attention to hold its hand?
- 1:53:30So that's why I have the some of the back problems that I do.
- 1:53:35I did not know that I must have missed that story.
- 1:53:39I talked about it quite a few times, but as you know, YouTube
- 1:53:42has loved my channels too much, so quite a few of those videos
- 1:53:46were removed. However, I did put a lot of my
- 1:53:49older stuff all the way back from the point I became a theist
- 1:53:52up on the radio. If you ever get bored or you're
- 1:53:55suffering from insomnia and you need some sleep, my audio's up
- 1:53:59there to listen to. Wow, that is good to know.
- 1:54:02If I ever get insomnia, that's what I'll do.
- 1:54:08I think like a Sam Harris type atheist would would probably
- 1:54:11intervene and try to save people.
- 1:54:14You know, there's different like Sam Harris style.
- 1:54:20Oh, I I believe entirely that there I was telling TTR earlier,
- 1:54:25I believe that 90, like I would say probably 95 to 98% of
- 1:54:29atheists say hell no. That kids a panic cake.
- 1:54:32Screw it. And I've heard a lot of atheists
- 1:54:34actually say that to me on the car thing.
- 1:54:37But I do think that there's a couple where they would just
- 1:54:39simply blurt out, Oh yeah, because they know they're wired
- 1:54:43inside. Whether they believe God did
- 1:54:45that for them or not, they're still wired.
- 1:54:48But the morality of that's innocence.
- 1:54:50These are children that have a whole life ahead of them, you
- 1:54:54know. So I I know that non believers,
- 1:54:56some of them think that way. But why do they think that way?
- 1:55:00That's the the beautiful thing that I want to hear them talked
- 1:55:04about. Yeah, I think if the sample size
- 1:55:07was like if just statistically the sample of who would do what
- 1:55:10was the atheist that tend to come on to these shows and the
- 1:55:16ones that we've seen time and time again, I think a majority
- 1:55:20of them would be like what you just said, like fuck that, like
- 1:55:24they would very blatantly just be like, hell no, I wouldn't do
- 1:55:26that. But I don't know.
- 1:55:28I think that the Internet kind of chooses for people that are
- 1:55:32more outspoken and almost like hateful in a way.
- 1:55:36So like the more kind of decent atheists that aren't like all
- 1:55:41into the whole propaganda of it are just not going to be around
- 1:55:45as much promoting their atheism. I think like the the common
- 1:55:50atheists on the street, that isn't like it doesn't have a
- 1:55:53YouTube channel with atheists in their name.
- 1:55:56Might be more likely to intervene and and step in and
- 1:55:59help somebody. Well, I I think that you're
- 1:56:02absolutely right about that Adam.
- 1:56:03Because as you know in the past whenever I was a former atheist,
- 1:56:07when I talked to a lot of non believers behind the scenes
- 1:56:11there was a different character there.
- 1:56:12There was a they were being themselves, and they were a lot
- 1:56:15more honest about some of the things they feel, and if they
- 1:56:18felt they were wrong about something or questioning
- 1:56:20something, they'd say it. But on YouTube, there's this
- 1:56:24weird ass. I got to impress my audience,
- 1:56:27I've got to say edgy shit in order to get the views.
- 1:56:31And I don't want to come off soft.
- 1:56:33And that's sad, because we can't have intellectual discussions or
- 1:56:37get dive into the truth if you're so busy wearing a fucking
- 1:56:41mask. Sorry about the language.
- 1:56:45Yeah, I get it. I get it entirely.
- 1:56:47It's edgy. Yeah, it's basically, yeah.
- 1:56:50It reminds me of that Family Guy skit where they went to a
- 1:56:57concert to listen to some popular boy band and slowly the
- 1:57:00band gets on the stage and the lead singer is on his guitar
- 1:57:03going feelings. Yeah, no, no, no, no feelings,
- 1:57:10feelings. Instead of saying, you know,
- 1:57:14actual lyrics. And TTOR and Adam, let's be
- 1:57:18honest, if anybody, whether Christian or atheist, were in a
- 1:57:22position like this, let's let's not even bullshit here.
- 1:57:28Nobody's going to be like, just go ahead and shoot me.
- 1:57:31There's either. You're either going to fight
- 1:57:33your ass off, you're going to try to get out of the situation.
- 1:57:36Some people are going to try to talk their way out of it.
- 1:57:39It's human, you know, Survival, obviously.
- 1:57:42People are going to cry. They're going to be like, I
- 1:57:44thought, can I get my, you know, wife a hug first?
- 1:57:47Where I get shot, there's going to be these things.
- 1:57:49So these people who just get up here all macho, all right, let's
- 1:57:53do it. You know, hell with that
- 1:57:54nonsense, exactly. And as Dark Moon 75 pointed out
- 1:57:59a few minutes ago, funny thing, I first discovered Brett, TTOR
- 1:58:04and VJ on YouTube when I was trying out all tech sites.
- 1:58:09And that's a funny story because I first met Brett Keene on Bit
- 1:58:13Shoot, not YouTube. It's kind of funny too, because
- 1:58:19when I first came across Brett on Bit Shoot, it was just like
- 1:58:21some random video. I think I was looking up for
- 1:58:25like atheist content or something.
- 1:58:27And one of Brett's videos going after an atheist that he and I
- 1:58:30both knew came into my feet and I was like, oh cool, I'm going
- 1:58:33to watch this guy. And then after I watched, you
- 1:58:36know, about 50 of his videos, I I contacted.
- 1:58:41Him it was it was good that I ran into TTR because I I'm not
- 1:58:45sure you realize how much of an influence or help that you had
- 1:58:49on me and stuff. But I I had just ended up
- 1:58:52getting caked on YouTube and I was also going through my
- 1:58:55transition and the theism. So I was still trying to figure
- 1:59:00out how am I going to handle this?
- 1:59:01What am I going to say? How am I going to do this?
- 1:59:04Where how am I going to fight for my position and all that?
- 1:59:07And on top of it, I had a lot of Christians on YouTube who were
- 1:59:10like, he's bullshit and he ain't doing it.
- 1:59:13There's no way a guy can be an atheist that long.
- 1:59:16Hell, they even didn't have faith in me.
- 1:59:19So I come along, I run in the TTR.
- 1:59:21He doesn't condemn me. He doesn't judge me.
- 1:59:23He's like hey. Come on up here, let's talk and
- 1:59:27all that. He's one of the smallest guys
- 1:59:29I've ever met on the damn social media.
- 1:59:31And I'm not just talking about like you two, I'm talking about
- 1:59:34just in general on social media. Good guy.
- 1:59:38I appreciate those kind words, but it does also illustrate a
- 1:59:42larger point though, between How I Met you and what Dark Moon 75
- 1:59:47just said, Is that the existence of these alt tech sites and
- 1:59:52their general lack of censorship, at least when
- 1:59:55compared to sites like YouTube or the former Twitter or
- 1:59:59Facebook, it allows us to make connections that if we had just
- 2:00:04been Youtubers of YouTube censoring, we may have never met
- 2:00:08each other. I think these alt tech sites are
- 2:00:11actually very good for making connections that would never
- 2:00:14otherwise happen. It's true.
- 2:00:17I was aggravated. I remember thinking to myself,
- 2:00:20why should I even bother with this crap anymore?
- 2:00:22Everybody's going to get silenced.
- 2:00:24And you know, I was convinced the whole time, bit shoot was
- 2:00:27going to basically shoot us right in the butt on that
- 2:00:29nonsense. They were going to screw us too.
- 2:00:32I was constantly complaining about gab.
- 2:00:35But yeah, I got to thinking. Later on, after everything
- 2:00:39cooled down, I started thinking, God, why?
- 2:00:42Why did this all this happen to me and I'm in this position?
- 2:00:46And then I thought, wait a minute, if this wouldn't have
- 2:00:49happened, if this negative thing wouldn't have happened, I
- 2:00:52wouldn't have met TTOR and some of the other great Christians
- 2:00:55that I have and been able to learn from them.
- 2:00:58I had a time to be able to get away from all that crap, having
- 2:01:02to defend myself against Christians who didn't believe in
- 2:01:05me or support me and be around people who were there for me all
- 2:01:08the way. So yeah, blessing in disguise?
- 2:01:11Exactly. Dark Moon.
- 2:01:14Yeah, I agree with that. And it's also funny too, because
- 2:01:20when you look at the kind of place the Internet is, how it's
- 2:01:23kind of like a Thunderdome, every man for himself, pump your
- 2:01:29chest kind of thing. Really promoting of narcissism,
- 2:01:32especially for certain people when I go to my job during the
- 2:01:36day. As ATV producer in my church,
- 2:01:40I'm around people who are normal, have cheerful
- 2:01:43dispositions, work hard, don't cause a lot of drama.
- 2:01:48And it's like I go back to the Internet after I spent the whole
- 2:01:52day, you know, working on my stuff and being around people
- 2:01:55like that. And it's like, wow, those people
- 2:01:58on the Internet were right. The Internet is not real life.
- 2:02:03Connections are definitely more honest and.
- 2:02:07Open and less drama filled in real life.
- 2:02:09At least, you know, at certain places it is.
- 2:02:12It's like that too. I mean, I find myself sometime
- 2:02:16where I get subdued by Twitter and I'm looking at this and
- 2:02:19thinking, oh shit, the world's going to hell, we're in the
- 2:02:22apocalypse and then the computer turns off or something.
- 2:02:25I go out and stand out of my porch.
- 2:02:29I'm hearing the birds chirping, the grass is green and the trees
- 2:02:32are swaying, and I'm like, the hell with all that nonsense They
- 2:02:36it it's constant, just right in your face.
- 2:02:39But reality isn't the same. Yeah.
- 2:02:43And well, it also depends where you are too, because I think you
- 2:02:46live out in the country, if I remember right, and even miles
- 2:02:50South of Saint Louis, murder capital of the world.
- 2:02:54And then I live. Well, I live in a socialist city
- 2:02:57in Oregon, Eugene. But even in Eugene, though, I'm
- 2:03:02in a part where. You know, it's kind of away from
- 2:03:06the more degenerate parts of the city because I'm like on the,
- 2:03:10I'm like on the northern edge that's closer to like Junction
- 2:03:14City and all of these small Oregon towns that are more
- 2:03:17conservative and, you know, not degenerate.
- 2:03:22So yeah, when I'm out and about in my part of the woods
- 2:03:27generally, it's a lot more peaceful and less chaotic than.
- 2:03:33If you live on the Internet and your entire view of the world is
- 2:03:36shaped by your social media feeds.
- 2:03:39Because there was, oh, I was go, go ahead.
- 2:03:44I was just going to say I I can see why there's black pilled
- 2:03:49people out there on the Internet because they don't get out and
- 2:03:52touch grass and. To interact with people in the
- 2:03:54real world. And so if all they see is the
- 2:03:58bleakness of their social media feeds, I can see why they're
- 2:04:01even black pill in the first place there.
- 2:04:05There has been some adorable funny times though, some things
- 2:04:08that made me laugh out loud. Some of these memes, do you
- 2:04:11remember whenever, like whenever they were saying that our
- 2:04:14country was being invaded and you had a couple of groups from
- 2:04:18the Middle East who were saying, oh we're going to, we've went
- 2:04:21into the cities, but now we're going to go into the rural areas
- 2:04:24of America and cause trouble. And people are posted memes of
- 2:04:28Chris Pratt making that happy face with a gun in his hand
- 2:04:32saying please, please, that cracks me up because people, I'm
- 2:04:37serious. If you want to invade the
- 2:04:38country, if you're going to do it, do it in the cities because
- 2:04:41the liberals will let you get away with it.
- 2:04:43But you come into the country your your target practice that
- 2:04:47they that's fun for them. Yeah, and that's the thing too.
- 2:04:51When you've looked at like BLM antifa attacks, they've mainly
- 2:04:55taken place in large Democrat controlled cities.
- 2:04:59The handful of times any of those groups have tried to go
- 2:05:02into a rural area made-up of mostly conservatives in order to
- 2:05:06do what they like to do, which is riot and destroy.
- 2:05:09They've met a lot of resistance and they've had their tail put
- 2:05:13between their legs and sent back where they came from pretty
- 2:05:15quickly. Yeah, they don't.
- 2:05:18For the most part. They don't even try going into,
- 2:05:20you know, rural areas and conservative areas because they
- 2:05:23know that they wouldn't be able to get away with the crap they
- 2:05:27get away with in Democrat cities.
- 2:05:29Oh, I'm not. I'm not kidding about this
- 2:05:31either. I live out in the countryside
- 2:05:33and we've got cops in our neighborhood.
- 2:05:36We got hillbillies and all that. And these are the type of folks
- 2:05:39where if they see strange folks coming in the neighborhood,
- 2:05:42they'll literally get their gun off the shelf for the wall.
- 2:05:45They like to keep them as trophies.
- 2:05:47They will click them and go, yeah, all kinds of racket and
- 2:05:53they'll start preparing for war. It's like they're ready and
- 2:05:55waiting for anybody to piss them off.
- 2:05:57So you don't want to do the country?
- 2:05:59Stick with your Democrat cities. Apparently they don't have TV or
- 2:06:03Internet and that's their entertainment and.
- 2:06:08Degenerates coming to their neck of the woods.
- 2:06:11Oh boy, Something fun to do. Click, Click.
- 2:06:17And the The funny thing about hillbillies, too.
- 2:06:20As long as you're like, nice and respectful to them, you get
- 2:06:22along. They become like family.
- 2:06:25They'll do anything for you. They'll commit and all that.
- 2:06:28There ain't no way anybody comes in my neighborhood without
- 2:06:31dealing with the cops and a bunch of hillbillies.
- 2:06:33But I tell you what, oh goodness gracious, you piss them off.
- 2:06:37You've got an enemy for life. Sounds like it.
- 2:06:42Well, I'd love to continue this conversation, but we are out of
- 2:06:46time. It has been a pleasure having
- 2:06:48Adam and Brett on the show. It's sad that Josh couldn't join
- 2:06:53us, but hey, when your car breaks down and you can't get
- 2:06:56home in time and then you know there's nothing you can do about
- 2:06:59that. I'll have to have Josh on a
- 2:07:02later show in the future once he's more situated with that
- 2:07:06stuff. Tell him to get some better
- 2:07:08tires. Oh, but with that.
- 2:07:13I bid all of you guys farewell those of you who've watched from
- 2:07:16beginning to end, and especially you Dark Moon 75, because you've
- 2:07:20made so many comments on both chats and I look forward to
- 2:07:25seeing you in the next one. Toodles
- 2:08:18None.
