- 0:00Speaker 1: Where should I begin?
- 0:00Speaker 2: Can we talk about this?
- 0:01Speaker 3: Say?
- 0:02Speaker 4: What are you trying to say?
- 0:03Speaker 5: Beyond the usual controversial talking.
- 0:07Speaker 6: Over the welcome to one to prepare yourself, okay for
- 0:15Speaker 6: Craig preparing my denucle.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Here particulate stimulated pit.
- 0:25Speaker 1: There there you go back, you start becoming a team.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Is the Craig Cullin Show.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Jesus, oh God, no dot talking talk.
- 0:36Speaker 7: This station is now the ultimate power in the universe.
- 0:39Speaker 8: Your host, he's a good man, Craig.
- 0:42Speaker 9: That's right.
- 0:43Speaker 1: It is the Craig Collins Show. K S e V.
- 0:46Speaker 10: The Voice of Texas seven hundred. Am thrilled to be
- 0:50Speaker 10: with you. A producer Phil hanging out in studio as
- 0:53Speaker 10: he always does at this time for this show, which
- 0:56Speaker 10: I'm thrilled to have him here. And actually I know
- 0:59Speaker 10: he's a basketball guy. I am also a basketball guy.
- 1:02Speaker 10: And I saw this tweet from OutKick that is also
- 1:06Speaker 10: being covered by Fox News that I thought was hilarious.
- 1:10Speaker 10: And the reason I think it's hilarious is a transgender
- 1:12Speaker 10: athlete who apparently is dominating the French mid tier women's league.
- 1:18Speaker 10: So it's not even like the highest level female basketball
- 1:22Speaker 10: league in France.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Apparently it's the secondary level.
- 1:25Speaker 10: But the photo of this dude jumping and it's seeming
- 1:30Speaker 10: I don't know if he can actually dunk or not
- 1:31Speaker 10: on a woman, and like just the muscles and everything
- 1:34Speaker 10: the guy has. I'm gonna put it up on social
- 1:36Speaker 10: media so you can see it yourself if you want
- 1:39Speaker 10: to see it. That is a guy that is a
- 1:43Speaker 10: transgender athlete. I think he goes by Julie. I don't
- 1:46Speaker 10: know what his actual name is. That, as I said,
- 1:48Speaker 10: for the Monaco basketball team in France, just dominant, just
- 1:52Speaker 10: Shaquille O'Neal levels of destroying the league. And regardless of
- 1:57Speaker 10: what anybody thinks out there about out if this should
- 2:01Speaker 10: or shouldn't happen, I know a lot of us think
- 2:02Speaker 10: it shouldn't. Like there's no denying that this is completely unfair.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Phil is a basketball guy.
- 2:08Speaker 10: I don't know if you can see the image on
- 2:10Speaker 10: the screen behind you and how big the dude looks,
- 2:13Speaker 10: but it's aw yeah, look at look at like the
- 2:16Speaker 10: dude's biceps compared to the woman that he's crashing into
- 2:19Speaker 10: as he's going up for a layup.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, that doesn't seem fair at all.
- 2:27Speaker 10: It's crazy how viral that is on social media because
- 2:30Speaker 10: you can debate it all you want as an abstract,
- 2:32Speaker 10: But when you see a photo or even I assume
- 2:35Speaker 10: video of this person just crushing like it's Wilt Chamberlain
- 2:39Speaker 10: in the sixties and seventies Vergion, Like I don't know
- 2:42Speaker 10: if he's got a hundred points yet, but he might
- 2:43Speaker 10: score them. I wouldn't even have fun playing basketball in
- 2:47Speaker 10: that environment where you're so much more dominant than everybody else.
- 2:50Speaker 1: To me, that wouldn't even be fun.
- 2:51Speaker 8: It like you got this big hulk looking dude going
- 2:57Speaker 8: against females, you know what I mean.
- 2:59Speaker 10: Like, like, dude, like even just suiting up. Did you
- 3:02Speaker 10: play in high school or anything? Or no, yeah, oh
- 3:05Speaker 10: you play varsity. Okay, So I did play in college.
- 3:08Speaker 10: But that's a really deceptive statement that I just made
- 3:11Speaker 10: because I went to a junior college league or a
- 3:13Speaker 10: junior college a school that was in a junior college
- 3:16Speaker 10: league and they were just starting out and they did
- 3:18Speaker 10: like an open tryout and I made the bench, and
- 3:20Speaker 10: you know, like everything about it. When I say the
- 3:23Speaker 10: sentence I played basketball in college, it's definitively true, but
- 3:27Speaker 10: it's not reflective of my skill set compared to most
- 3:31Speaker 10: college basketball players. But I did play in high school too,
- 3:33Speaker 10: And the funniest thing is I remember walking on the
- 3:36Speaker 10: court in college against real teams and seeing the size
- 3:40Speaker 10: of the people compared to me, and like, that's what
- 3:42Speaker 10: it would feel like, I think for some of these
- 3:44Speaker 10: ladies to watch this dude walk out and be like,
- 3:46Speaker 10: we're going we're playing now, Like, dude, even for me,
- 3:49Speaker 10: five foot ten, white guy that sat the bench and
- 3:52Speaker 10: shot free throws at the end of the game, I
- 3:54Speaker 10: got dunked on more times than I'd like to admit.
- 3:56Speaker 10: Really yeah, oh yeah, well, dude, I would only go
- 4:00Speaker 10: at the end of the game, and one of two
- 4:01Speaker 10: things was happening when I went in. We were down
- 4:03Speaker 10: by a lot and they were going to try to
- 4:05Speaker 10: let me shoot some threes, or we were up by
- 4:07Speaker 10: a few and they wanted me to run the play,
- 4:09Speaker 10: to catch the ball, to shoot the free throws.
- 4:11Speaker 1: That was it. That's all I did for the team.
- 4:13Speaker 10: And when I would go in, if we transition to
- 4:16Speaker 10: defense and they were coming back down, they're like, pick
- 4:18Speaker 10: on that dude, whoever whoever is matched up with him,
- 4:22Speaker 10: find the ball, get it to them, and they're gonna
- 4:24Speaker 10: they're gonna one on one that guy.
- 4:26Speaker 1: That happened every.
- 4:26Speaker 8: Time they had you as a strategic guy. Basically, yeah,
- 4:30Speaker 8: so whenever they need some point.
- 4:32Speaker 10: If they could have checked me out after making the
- 4:35Speaker 10: second free throw without using a timeout, they would have
- 4:38Speaker 10: done it, like because they didn't want me to transition
- 4:40Speaker 10: to defense, but they didn't want to use a timeout.
- 4:42Speaker 10: Every time I was on the court, I was point
- 4:44Speaker 10: guard and I was a shooter. I was just a shooter.
- 4:47Speaker 1: That's a dude.
- 4:48Speaker 10: I didn't even really have a position because I would
- 4:50Speaker 10: I would just shoot the ball and that was it.
- 4:53Speaker 1: And I'd shoot the ball in practice.
- 4:54Speaker 10: Like I remember sometimes when we're running five on five
- 4:57Speaker 10: in practice, the coach would pull me aside and be like,
- 4:59Speaker 10: you know what, dude, just go shoot.
- 5:01Speaker 1: You don't need to be part of the five. It's okay.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Just just go get some rep shooting.
- 5:05Speaker 10: Maybe maybe take one other guys so we can feed
- 5:07Speaker 10: you the ball off of picks and stuff.
- 5:09Speaker 1: But you don't need to run the five and five.
- 5:11Speaker 8: With us now.
- 5:14Speaker 10: I mean occasionally though, But dude, Like to be honest,
- 5:17Speaker 10: I'm not the right size for a college basketball player.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I'm not, you know, Like it's just it's just a thing.
- 5:23Speaker 1: That's true, and the same is true.
- 5:24Speaker 10: And the point of this wasn't to brag about my
- 5:26Speaker 10: collegiate basketball career for anyone listening. The point of this
- 5:30Speaker 10: was to talk about how that that dude playing women's
- 5:32Speaker 10: sports just every day shows up and is like, I
- 5:35Speaker 10: know that I'm gonna win. I know that I'm gonna
- 5:37Speaker 10: be the best player in the court because I'm just
- 5:38Speaker 10: definitively larger and better than everyone else doing this.
- 5:41Speaker 8: Complete dude.
- 5:44Speaker 10: I remember, actually one last basketball memory for anyone that
- 5:47Speaker 10: doesn't care, and then I promise I'll get to actual
- 5:49Speaker 10: news and things that matter. I remember there was a
- 5:51Speaker 10: game where we played another junior college that we actually
- 5:54Speaker 10: thought we were going to beat, and we were not
- 5:56Speaker 10: very good my first year because we had just created
- 5:58Speaker 10: Holy Cross, the Rudy School in South ben Indiana. For
- 6:01Speaker 10: anyone that wants to know, they are now a fairly
- 6:03Speaker 10: good junior college basketball team. At the time, they were not.
- 6:06Speaker 10: But anyway, we were playing this team and we were
- 6:08Speaker 10: trying to intimidate them. So any of our like athletic
- 6:11Speaker 10: players were dunking during you know, warm ups, they were
- 6:15Speaker 10: doing trick shots during warm ups, and I didn't under
- 6:17Speaker 10: the leg layup, and the whole place, like my whole
- 6:20Speaker 10: side went crazy, like, oh, Craig's doing it too, Craig's
- 6:23Speaker 10: doing it too. And I did not feel proud in
- 6:26Speaker 10: that moment. I felt terrible because I was like, guys, like,
- 6:29Speaker 10: I'm not awful at this. I'm just not as good
- 6:31Speaker 10: as the rest of you. But I remember how happy
- 6:33Speaker 10: they were, and then yeah, that was it. That was
- 6:35Speaker 10: my basketball career.
- 6:36Speaker 1: You played high school varsity and then nothing after that.
- 6:39Speaker 8: Yeah, I was playing. I was playing in the recreational center,
- 6:43Speaker 8: like pickup games and stuff like that, but I didn't
- 6:45Speaker 8: really try to go got cot.
- 6:46Speaker 1: They had a lot of pickup games here in Houston, right,
- 6:48Speaker 1: like a lot of parks Oliver.
- 6:49Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, especially in well it's really in the gym's
- 6:52Speaker 8: like twenty four of a lot of pickup games. Yeah, yeah,
- 6:55Speaker 8: it's a lot.
- 6:56Speaker 2: I've looked.
- 6:57Speaker 10: I've looked, and my wife will be with me and
- 6:59Speaker 10: she's like, you're forty now, Craig, and I'm like, yeah,
- 7:01Speaker 10: but I want just a little bit. I want to
- 7:02Speaker 10: go just a little bit, pull a hamstring, and then
- 7:04Speaker 10: you're done.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Probably all right, all right, let's get to some news.
- 7:08Speaker 10: There's a lot of news out there, and this is
- 7:10Speaker 10: actually accidentally still within the world of sports. But I
- 7:13Speaker 10: did think that a lot of what Aaron Rodgers said
- 7:16Speaker 10: was really interesting. Yesterday it went viral progressively. I think
- 7:21Speaker 10: he did it in the mid afternoon hours yesterday, popping
- 7:25Speaker 10: up on Pat McAfee show talking about politics and Fauci,
- 7:28Speaker 10: which is something that, to be honest, Aaron.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Rodgers does a lot.
- 7:33Speaker 10: And actually I loved some of the messages on social
- 7:35Speaker 10: media about it because they said that they'd prefer Rogers
- 7:39Speaker 10: and McAfee to talk about politics and not sports, just
- 7:42Speaker 10: because it's an odd place to do it. And Rogers
- 7:45Speaker 10: certainly has interesting opinions or opinions that I find interesting.
- 7:49Speaker 1: To say the very least. But what I really liked.
- 7:52Speaker 10: About this audio and about this moment and the way
- 7:55Speaker 10: it exists online, is that like Rogers wouldn't relent because
- 7:59Speaker 10: you can tell he's a guy that's mad. He's mad
- 8:01Speaker 10: at the way that he was treated, He's mad at
- 8:04Speaker 10: the amount of coverage of his medical decisions that mainstream
- 8:07Speaker 10: media seemed kind of obsessed with for a while. And
- 8:11Speaker 10: now now that obviously it seems that Anthony Fauci not
- 8:15Speaker 10: only told us a lot of wrong stuff, but he
- 8:17Speaker 10: did it on purpose, Doctor Fauci. Aaron Rodgers wants his
- 8:20Speaker 10: five minute touchdown dance version of you piece of crap
- 8:24Speaker 10: for how you treated me.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Here's a little bit of that audience.
- 8:26Speaker 7: A couple of times today, because you've been very open
- 8:28Speaker 7: about coming back for this year last rodeo, and you
- 8:30Speaker 7: talked about your wife saying, hey have another year. Mike
- 8:32Speaker 7: McCarthy being here obviously a big deal. Can you tell
- 8:35Speaker 7: us about the mindset of coming into your last season?
- 8:37Speaker 7: Like that's a real thing. It feels like, cause is
- 8:39Speaker 7: everything better? Is everything funner? Is everything more awesome? Like
- 8:43Speaker 7: how do you kind of view this year verse maybe
- 8:44Speaker 7: the years of the past?
- 8:45Speaker 9: I'm gonna plead the fifth okay, like I love that guy,
- 8:53Speaker 9: like that absolute coward to absolute Yeah, are you kidding me?
- 8:58Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 8:59Speaker 1: Actually stopped this real quick.
- 9:00Speaker 10: I'm getting a couple messages on social media that we're
- 9:02Speaker 10: having some issues with the audio stream on the internet.
- 9:05Speaker 10: So I'm gonna fix that because I'm probably I'm fairly
- 9:07Speaker 10: certain i know what's going on there. So let's get
- 9:09Speaker 10: that fixed. We'll come back in just a bit. This
- 9:11Speaker 10: is the Craig Collins Show. KSCV, the Voice of Texas.
- 9:14Speaker 10: Thank you to listeners. I texted me and let me
- 9:16Speaker 10: know that some of our social media stuff wasn't working
- 9:19Speaker 10: the way it was supposed to. So we're gonna try
- 9:21Speaker 10: the clip again for everybody, not just the radio audience,
- 9:24Speaker 10: but the whole audience. This is Aaron Rodgers and Pat
- 9:26Speaker 10: McAfee show yesterday Crap It All Over, Doctor Anthony Fauci,
- 9:31Speaker 10: which I thought was awesome.
- 9:31Speaker 7: Because you've been very open about coming back for this
- 9:34Speaker 7: year last rodeo, and you talked about your wife saying,
- 9:36Speaker 7: hey have another year. Mike McCarthy being here obviously a
- 9:38Speaker 7: big deal. Can you tell us about the mindset of
- 9:40Speaker 7: coming into your last season? Like that's a real thing,
- 9:43Speaker 7: it feels like, cause is everything better? Is everything funner?
- 9:46Speaker 7: Is everything more awesome?
- 9:47Speaker 12: Like?
- 9:47Speaker 7: How do you kind of vomb this year? Verse maybe
- 9:49Speaker 7: the years of the past.
- 9:50Speaker 9: Now I'm gonna plead the fifth okay.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Like I love that? Like that absolute coward Tony? Absolutely? Yeah,
- 10:02Speaker 2: are you kidding me? Yeah? You got a.
- 10:05Speaker 13: Pardon and and you pleaded over one hundred times at
- 10:08Speaker 13: the White House.
- 10:09Speaker 2: What are you scared of? Tony? I thought you were
- 10:11Speaker 2: the science Yeah, yeah, I thought.
- 10:13Speaker 13: You I am science and you get up there and
- 10:14Speaker 13: you can't answer a question, Yeah, what do we doing?
- 10:17Speaker 10: But by the way, this feels very much the way
- 10:19Speaker 10: an athlete would deal with something like this.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I can hear it in the voice of Aaron Rodgers, like,
- 10:25Speaker 1: how dare you?
- 10:25Speaker 10: You piece of crap, the version of I finally win,
- 10:29Speaker 10: you finally lose, and I'm now going to talk the
- 10:32Speaker 10: trash that you deserve for me to talk because of
- 10:34Speaker 10: how stupid things got for a while there before you know,
- 10:37Speaker 10: we get to this moment, We get to the moment
- 10:39Speaker 10: where I am, in fact the winner of our disagreement,
- 10:42Speaker 10: our discussion, or whatever it might be. So I do
- 10:45Speaker 10: really like it for that reason too, And I think
- 10:47Speaker 10: that's one of the reasons that some people are really
- 10:49Speaker 10: responding to the way that Roger sounds. But let's continue
- 10:52Speaker 10: a little bit more here here we.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Go, And how much time did network spend of that?
- 10:55Speaker 13: How much time did they spend on my responses every
- 10:58Speaker 13: week on my vaccinations stat at font Taylor, at Travis's wedding.
- 11:06Speaker 13: Did they do even a minute? Did they do even
- 11:08Speaker 13: a minute? I don't think I bet they didn't. But
- 11:12Speaker 13: on that and there was another scandalous offseason, too involved
- 11:15Speaker 13: in a voter.
- 11:16Speaker 2: I love kennedyp for Coach of the Year.
- 11:18Speaker 13: How much time do you did your network spand what's
- 11:22Speaker 13: did your network spend on that network?
- 11:28Speaker 2: This is awesome.
- 11:30Speaker 10: I do love that he transitions for a second to
- 11:31Speaker 10: crap in on ESPN directly while on ESPN, and then
- 11:35Speaker 10: they're like, no, no, no, keep please keep trying with the Fauci.
- 11:38Speaker 10: But also just the audience he's at a Steelers training camp.
- 11:42Speaker 10: You hear a lot of the people in the background
- 11:44Speaker 10: starting to cheer because Fauci's reputation has been obliterated, and
- 11:49Speaker 10: it should have been obliterated by the way that he
- 11:51Speaker 10: handled himself.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Just think about this.
- 11:53Speaker 10: Not to overtalk the crap that is doctor Anthony Fauci,
- 11:57Speaker 10: because I'm sure you've heard these takes all over the place.
- 12:00Speaker 10: How often do you see someone with a pardon as
- 12:04Speaker 10: ridiculously expansive as doctor Anthony Fauci's twenty fourteen until Biden
- 12:09Speaker 10: left the White House last year, were any wrongdoing of
- 12:12Speaker 10: any kind, he cannot possibly be held accountable for it.
- 12:15Speaker 10: The answer to my question how often do you see
- 12:17Speaker 10: that is never, because it's never happened before where someone
- 12:19Speaker 10: with that level of immunity was still terrified of answering questions.
- 12:24Speaker 1: There's not a lot of good there are no good
- 12:25Speaker 1: reasons for that.
- 12:26Speaker 13: Let's go back to Fauci. Yeah, go back to the
- 12:29Speaker 13: cow whard Tony Fauci. We're not spending the entire time
- 12:33Speaker 13: right and in his diary about how fun it is
- 12:35Speaker 13: to be famous.
- 12:37Speaker 2: You gotta be kidding me, Okay, So I now, kid,
- 12:39Speaker 2: you gonna say about me? Now? What are you gonna
- 12:41Speaker 2: say about me? Now? I got no debate here? You
- 12:43Speaker 2: had a five Seriously, what are you gonna say about
- 12:45Speaker 2: me now? Now?
- 12:46Speaker 13: Now that you can't talk about the COVID stuff because
- 12:48Speaker 13: obviously it was it was made you know, in a
- 12:50Speaker 13: lab in China, that's like not even questionable anymore. Tony
- 12:54Speaker 13: Fauci is an absolute criminal. And I'm I'm on good terms.
- 12:58Speaker 2: With my family. Talk about good in terms of my family.
- 13:00Speaker 2: What are you going to say now? What are you
- 13:02Speaker 2: going to say now?
- 13:03Speaker 7: To let you know, it's been a fun ride for you.
- 13:06Speaker 13: And that's been a great, great life and a great career.
- 13:09Speaker 13: And it's nice to be sitting on this side now,
- 13:10Speaker 13: especially after that coverage.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Okay, how's that right there. I love that he kept
- 13:15Speaker 1: bringing it up.
- 13:16Speaker 10: I loved it in the first two and a half
- 13:17Speaker 10: minutes of a sit down interview at training camp for
- 13:21Speaker 10: the Steelers's he just continues to crap over doctor Anthony Fauci, And,
- 13:25Speaker 10: to be honest about it, part of me thinks this
- 13:28Speaker 10: is abundantly necessary to getting the people on the side
- 13:32Speaker 10: who refuse to pay attention to this to listen, Like,
- 13:35Speaker 10: I feel like you have to say it this many
- 13:37Speaker 10: times for someone to eventually be like, all right, fine,
- 13:39Speaker 10: I guess we'll cover it at least a little because we.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Can't shut you up. We can't get you to stop
- 13:45Speaker 1: talking about how stupid this is. All right.
- 13:47Speaker 10: We are, of course, here in Texas and Houston, so
- 13:50Speaker 10: having a conversation about our own politicians is incredibly important
- 13:54Speaker 10: to do every day as much as we can in
- 13:56Speaker 10: this show, even though it wasn't our station and our show,
- 13:59Speaker 10: and I'm not gonna throw the name out there, and
- 14:01Speaker 10: I'm going to do my best to remove as much
- 14:04Speaker 10: of this other show that we compete against as possible.
- 14:07Speaker 10: Ken Paxton didn't interview a national radio today, and he
- 14:10Speaker 10: talked a lot about James taller Rico. He talked a
- 14:12Speaker 10: lot about some money advantages that exist within this race.
- 14:17Speaker 10: If you believe polling, which a lot of us don't,
- 14:20Speaker 10: some polling seems to indicate that tall Rico is a
- 14:22Speaker 10: couple points ahead of Paxton right now. Now, I'll say
- 14:26Speaker 10: one thing about polls that I believe definitively to be true.
- 14:31Speaker 10: The side that's excited about potentially winning a race that
- 14:35Speaker 10: they don't expect to win. In the case of Texas,
- 14:37Speaker 10: it would be, of course, our Senate race. I feel
- 14:40Speaker 10: like they're more responsive. If you call one hundred Republicans
- 14:44Speaker 10: right now, just cold call them and ask to tell
- 14:47Speaker 10: them who they're voting for, the odds of like ninety
- 14:49Speaker 10: of them hanging up real high. But if you call
- 14:52Speaker 10: one hundred Democrats right now and ask them who they're
- 14:55Speaker 10: voting for, they're going to scream that they're voting for
- 14:58Speaker 10: tall Rico and they hope that he's winning. So part
- 15:00Speaker 10: of me thinks there's going to be a disproportionate response
- 15:03Speaker 10: from the side that might, for some reason feel not
- 15:07Speaker 10: as excited, and a variety of reasons why they're going
- 15:09Speaker 10: to feel not as excited in general about the upcoming midterms.
- 15:13Speaker 10: But hopefully Texas proves that it's Texas at the end
- 15:15Speaker 10: of the day, and we have to do it. You
- 15:17Speaker 10: gotta show up, you got to vote. Don't be confident
- 15:19Speaker 10: that other people will do it for you. That's definitely
- 15:22Speaker 10: how bad things happen. But I'm very much hoping that
- 15:26Speaker 10: this state proves that it is one of the best
- 15:29Speaker 10: states to live in the country by not even being
- 15:31Speaker 10: remotely capable of getting a pack getting excuse me, a
- 15:35Speaker 10: tall rico into a Senate seat in Texas. But here's
- 15:38Speaker 10: a little bit about Paxson said about money and about
- 15:41Speaker 10: other things on that national radio show.
- 15:44Speaker 4: I think more than half his money's coming from out
- 15:46Speaker 4: of state. I would have to go back and look
- 15:47Speaker 4: at the last report June thirty that I know, you've
- 15:49Speaker 4: received ten million from a California liberal tech guy, and
- 15:53Speaker 4: then of his thirty million total rays there was you know,
- 15:57Speaker 4: most of it was an act BLU, which was mostly
- 15:59Speaker 4: out of state. I would say a very high percentage
- 16:02Speaker 4: of his money is coming from date, and I think
- 16:05Speaker 4: that makes sense. I think Texans don't necessarily believe in
- 16:09Speaker 4: James celleryco and they're not going to once they know
- 16:12Speaker 4: the truth so he is being bolstered by out of
- 16:15Speaker 4: state liberal socialist Democrats because that is effectively what he is.
- 16:21Speaker 4: He's trying to act like some moderate Democrat. He is
- 16:23Speaker 4: much more in the Mondani wing of the party than
- 16:26Speaker 4: he is some moderate Democrat.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:28Speaker 1: No, he's very much in the Mdamie wing of the party.
- 16:31Speaker 1: I'll say this.
- 16:32Speaker 10: About the value of people from outside of the state
- 16:36Speaker 10: throwing a whole bunch of money at tall Ico to
- 16:40Speaker 10: potentially influence the outcome of this state, but also to
- 16:43Speaker 10: do something else. You notice, and I notice how often
- 16:46Speaker 10: national media talks about our Senate race, how focused they
- 16:50Speaker 10: are on the potential outcome of a Democrat winning a
- 16:53Speaker 10: statewide race in Texas, which hasn't happened in a long time.
- 16:57Speaker 10: This is essentially their version of a emotional pep rally
- 17:01Speaker 10: type of story for the Democratic base. This is, if
- 17:05Speaker 10: you're someone sitting in Illinois somewhere, even where Democrats are
- 17:08Speaker 10: likely to win a whole bunch of races all the time,
- 17:11Speaker 10: you might get motivated excited. This goes to the point
- 17:14Speaker 10: of the enthusiasm within the party. By hearing that some
- 17:18Speaker 10: Democrat that in a place you don't live like Texas,
- 17:21Speaker 10: might actually win that race. They're using this as basically
- 17:24Speaker 10: a billboard to scream to our country that Democrats are
- 17:28Speaker 10: doing great, that they're the right way to go. They're
- 17:30Speaker 10: not doing it just to win the race in Texas,
- 17:33Speaker 10: although they are trying. I'm not pretending that all of
- 17:36Speaker 10: that infusing of money isn't designed to in some way
- 17:39Speaker 10: try to actually win the race itself. But I think
- 17:42Speaker 10: that a lot of Democrats would tell you, even the
- 17:46Speaker 10: judge that if they're being honest, no matter how good
- 17:50Speaker 10: it could look on paper, as far as Tallarico's chances,
- 17:53Speaker 10: they're not actually expecting him to win.
- 17:55Speaker 11: Now.
- 17:55Speaker 10: Granted again, I want to keep saying this because it's
- 17:58Speaker 10: important to say it on a radio show like we're
- 18:00Speaker 10: talking about these kind of topics. Any time that I
- 18:03Speaker 10: say that I think that Paxton will inevitably win this race.
- 18:07Speaker 10: No one who's potentially likely to vote for Paxton, she'd
- 18:10Speaker 10: be like, all right, I'm staying home.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Then he's gonna win. I don't need to go. You
- 18:13Speaker 1: absolutely need to go.
- 18:15Speaker 10: But I do think a lot of the money that's
- 18:16Speaker 10: being spent is being spent to be a demonstration of
- 18:21Speaker 10: the strength of the party in a dishonest way to
- 18:25Speaker 10: try to convince the base of Democrats throughout the country
- 18:28Speaker 10: to show up and vote in their elections, because it's
- 18:30Speaker 10: essentially the underdog story. If a Democrat can win in Texas,
- 18:34Speaker 10: I bet you a Democrat can win where I'm from.
- 18:36Speaker 1: I bet you I can.
- 18:37Speaker 10: Go out and vote and get a Democrat to win.
- 18:39Speaker 10: And what we need to do as a state is
- 18:42Speaker 10: crush that narrative. Paxton needs to win by ten fifteen.
- 18:46Speaker 10: I don't think it'll happen points because we do need
- 18:49Speaker 10: to defeat the idea that socialists, that communists, that Marxists
- 18:54Speaker 10: are capable of becoming you know, senators here in this state.
- 19:00Speaker 1: It just can't happen. I think we got a phone
- 19:02Speaker 1: on hold? Is that for me?
- 19:04Speaker 2: Is that on?
- 19:04Speaker 14: You?
- 19:05Speaker 2: Got that? Okay?
- 19:05Speaker 10: Is that El Marco? Who's on the phone that wants
- 19:08Speaker 10: to go on the air? Go ahead, El Marco? What
- 19:09Speaker 10: do you want to say?
- 19:11Speaker 14: Hey?
- 19:11Speaker 3: Yeah, Hi Craig. Yeah, discussing the pardon thing again? Yeah,
- 19:16Speaker 3: I was listening or I saw another show a few
- 19:20Speaker 3: days ago about this whole thing about the pardon. Yeah,
- 19:26Speaker 3: and he said that there was another case where supposedly
- 19:29Speaker 3: this was tried and it was overturned because you actually
- 19:33Speaker 3: read the specific wording in what it says where the
- 19:37Speaker 3: president can pardon and it has to be based on
- 19:42Speaker 3: some actor or crime or some commitment that the person
- 19:46Speaker 3: did to be abnonest of it.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Let me let me understand. I'm sorry to interrupt you
- 19:51Speaker 1: for a second.
- 19:51Speaker 10: You're saying that you've seen historically that the pardon itself
- 19:55Speaker 10: is likely to be thrown out or depleting.
- 19:57Speaker 1: The fifth is likely to be something that found can't do.
- 20:00Speaker 3: The pardon would be thrown out on the basis of
- 20:03Speaker 3: the whole premise of a pardon is based on crime,
- 20:08Speaker 3: absolving someone of a crime I say, crime of an
- 20:11Speaker 3: acting committed whether or not was Yeah, but you're something
- 20:14Speaker 3: that he or she did.
- 20:14Speaker 10: What you're saying is that the pardon that Biden gave
- 20:16Speaker 10: to Fauci and a whole bunch of other people via
- 20:18Speaker 10: the auto pen lacked specificity. It was any crime committed
- 20:21Speaker 10: for a giant number of years, which seems to be
- 20:24Speaker 10: outside the power and intention of the pardon itself.
- 20:28Speaker 14: Exactly.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Yeah, No, that was it, and and and the guy
- 20:31Speaker 3: wasn't even saying this, and I'm not a lawyer that
- 20:33Speaker 3: but all these these lawyer people that should know better
- 20:36Speaker 3: should do that, and that might have been the next
- 20:38Speaker 3: reason why he probably wasn't going to say a word anyway,
- 20:41Speaker 3: even though again that pardon was only up to and
- 20:44Speaker 3: including whatever that date was, which was the twenty fifth
- 20:47Speaker 3: of January four.
- 20:50Speaker 10: I want to I want to ask a different question
- 20:52Speaker 10: because this is to me and it will sound a
- 20:53Speaker 10: little odd, but let me get the whole idea out.
- 20:56Speaker 10: I actually don't want Fauci to have the pardon taken
- 20:58Speaker 10: away and the reason and I don't want him to
- 21:00Speaker 10: have the pardon taken away as I think he can't
- 21:02Speaker 10: keep pleading the fifth I think they can throw him
- 21:04Speaker 10: in jail. I think all kinds of things can happen
- 21:06Speaker 10: until he gives us actual information, information and maybe answers
- 21:10Speaker 10: to questions that we don't have, like did you purposefully
- 21:13Speaker 10: fund gain of function research, which we all believe he
- 21:15Speaker 10: did in Wuhan, China, knowing full well the risks, Like
- 21:19Speaker 10: I would rather have him be the catalyst to catching
- 21:22Speaker 10: the entire system because he can't hide behind the umbrella
- 21:27Speaker 10: of the fifth Amendment, which I think they'll also challenge
- 21:30Speaker 10: in court because there is also a precedent that says
- 21:33Speaker 10: having a pardon disallows you from saying that you can
- 21:36Speaker 10: get yourself in any kind of trouble, which then means
- 21:38Speaker 10: you can't plead the fifth. But it's neither or for me.
- 21:41Speaker 10: If they can't get him on one, I do want
- 21:43Speaker 10: him on the other. But I'd rather they go the
- 21:45Speaker 10: road of you can't not answer our questions anymore, or
- 21:49Speaker 10: you're going to spend a lot of time in jail.
- 21:51Speaker 3: Right. And that's absolutely true, because that that is in
- 21:54Speaker 3: kind of crete too, black and white. And that's assuming
- 21:56Speaker 3: it was a legitimate pardon, right and all that that. Okay,
- 22:00Speaker 3: you've been you've been absolved. You've given up your right, Yeah,
- 22:03Speaker 3: it says somewhere and says you've given up your right
- 22:05Speaker 3: to to uh the fifth or whatever, because you're absolved
- 22:09Speaker 3: of that. So now you must speak yes.
- 22:12Speaker 10: Yes, I know I'm not the right word no, no,
- 22:14Speaker 10: and I well, we're not lawyers, L Marco, so that's
- 22:17Speaker 10: solely fine.
- 22:18Speaker 1: But I'll say this too.
- 22:20Speaker 10: The reason I want that is because I do believe
- 22:22Speaker 10: that there's going to be a bunch of other people
- 22:24Speaker 10: that will be involved in this somehow. I think there's
- 22:25Speaker 10: a lot of financial corruption that exists here. I don't
- 22:28Speaker 10: think it's just the the version of Fauci Lieden is
- 22:31Speaker 10: a piece of crap. I think there's also a money trail,
- 22:34Speaker 10: and I want Fauci to be the beginning of, you know,
- 22:37Speaker 10: all of the different branches of that money trail coming
- 22:40Speaker 10: to the forefront and having the American people know about them.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Well, yeah, because Holly brought that up. Yeah, during his
- 22:46Speaker 3: portion of the interrogation about how he is even using
- 22:50Speaker 3: other other employees of the government. Yes, a solicit funds
- 22:53Speaker 3: that he shouldn't have been asking for while under the
- 22:56Speaker 3: under the apparent payment of the service of the government. Yeah,
- 23:00Speaker 3: that's another out and out you know, crime and all that.
- 23:04Speaker 3: I mean, he's just so dirty, he is.
- 23:07Speaker 10: And we all know that some people who think they're
- 23:10Speaker 10: above the law, the minute that they're faced with jail time,
- 23:13Speaker 10: the minute that like the bar closes, they become these
- 23:15Speaker 10: i'll tell you anything you want to know type of people,
- 23:18Speaker 10: like I'll crack on anybody, I'll turn on anybody. And
- 23:21Speaker 10: I think that's where we're at. I think Fauci, if
- 23:23Speaker 10: I'm going to quote the Joker from the Dark Knight.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Movie, he's the squealer.
- 23:28Speaker 10: He looks like the squealer to me, So let's get
- 23:30Speaker 10: him in a place where he's going into a jail
- 23:32Speaker 10: cell and see how much he squeals.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, buddy, Well, thank you for the call man,
- 23:38Speaker 1: You're welcome.
- 23:38Speaker 10: Thank you, Chree, and thank thank you for listening to
- 23:40Speaker 10: the show. El Marco a very popular caller for the
- 23:44Speaker 10: Amigo Show and the radio station in general. I think
- 23:47Speaker 10: that's the first time he's actually called into this show,
- 23:49Speaker 10: So I like, I like hearing from any of the regulars.
- 23:51Speaker 1: That's always fun.
- 23:52Speaker 10: And this station does have a lot of regular callers,
- 23:54Speaker 10: which is very cool. And I think that at least
- 23:57Speaker 10: one of them, Jimmy AX, has told me sometimes like
- 24:00Speaker 10: bad calling in all the time. Don't, Jimmy. I'm fine
- 24:03Speaker 10: with you calling in, hop in, say whatever you want
- 24:05Speaker 10: whenever you want. That's totally fine.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Let me play this.
- 24:08Speaker 10: I have a couple pieces of audio that I thought
- 24:11Speaker 10: were really fascinating. All of them Fox News interviews that
- 24:15Speaker 10: involve DSA members. In a couple of them, you're actually
- 24:19Speaker 10: also interviewing someone on the opposite side from the DSA,
- 24:23Speaker 10: which some might say is conservatives. I would say is
- 24:26Speaker 10: just rational humans. Like if you want to give me
- 24:28Speaker 10: the actual opposite the Democratic Socialists of America. It's an American.
- 24:33Speaker 10: It's anyone who's you know, against all the terrible things
- 24:37Speaker 10: that are communism. But here a couple of these are
- 24:40Speaker 10: really interesting. The first one is a committee member. Her
- 24:43Speaker 10: name is Francis, and she's dodging really easy to answer
- 24:47Speaker 10: questions because the DSA is the craziest party, or craziest
- 24:51Speaker 10: set of thoughts within a party you've ever heard in
- 24:54Speaker 10: your life.
- 24:54Speaker 15: An emotional In a socialist world, there's no taxes, and
- 24:58Speaker 15: you can you only have to work on the data
- 25:00Speaker 15: that you actually feel like working. But let me just
- 25:01Speaker 15: close with this question about abolishing the police force.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Yeah, let's do so, Francis.
- 25:08Speaker 15: You know, let's say you're at your home with your
- 25:10Speaker 15: family and someone breaks down your front door to come
- 25:13Speaker 15: harm you or rob things from you. You don't want
- 25:16Speaker 15: a policeman to show up to help out.
- 25:19Speaker 16: You know, here's what I can say, Oh my god,
- 25:21Speaker 16: this majority of calls that go into the police are
- 25:23Speaker 16: not about violent crime. They're not about dangerous situations where
- 25:27Speaker 16: people not want protection from police. One thing that we
- 25:30Speaker 16: can see is that when we expand unarmed crisis response
- 25:33Speaker 16: like we've done in Los Angeles.
- 25:34Speaker 1: I think you get it.
- 25:35Speaker 10: I don't even want to really listen to her anymore
- 25:37Speaker 10: with what she's saying there, because they can't answer those
- 25:39Speaker 10: basic questions. Yes, if someone broke into your house, especially
- 25:43Speaker 10: if you're a part of the DSA, and you think
- 25:44Speaker 10: that even having guns are illegal or bad so you
- 25:47Speaker 10: can't defend yourself, you want the police to come as
- 25:49Speaker 10: quickly as possible.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Now, granted, in that situation, if someone's.
- 25:52Speaker 10: Already burst through your door before you're dialing nine to one,
- 25:56Speaker 10: you are far better off having a weapon so you
- 25:58Speaker 10: can defend yourself than how to call the police and
- 26:01Speaker 10: get them to show up. But even so, within the
- 26:03Speaker 10: context of that type of thing, anything, because it's not
- 26:07Speaker 10: just that one example, it's any version of don't you
- 26:10Speaker 10: want people rushing toward innocent civilians when innocent civilians are
- 26:15Speaker 10: being attacked by someone who's doing something horrible, anything horrible?
- 26:18Speaker 10: Don't you want that here? This is another one that
- 26:21Speaker 10: I thought was amazing as far as a pretty easy
- 26:24Speaker 10: to answer question, that if you're part of the DSA
- 26:28Speaker 10: and you want every aspect of your party to be
- 26:30Speaker 10: as insanely woke as possible, you can't just say yes
- 26:34Speaker 10: to some of these very basic, simple ideas.
- 26:37Speaker 15: Here we go, Francis, do you think killer should go
- 26:39Speaker 15: to prison?
- 26:40Speaker 1: Rapist should go to prison? Especially?
- 26:42Speaker 10: You know non citizens?
- 26:43Speaker 3: Should non citizens that are kill or rape?
- 26:45Speaker 15: Should they be that boarded?
- 26:46Speaker 1: Should they?
- 26:48Speaker 16: I mean, you know who I think should go to
- 26:49Speaker 16: prison are the people who are protecting the Jeffrey Epstein, and.
- 26:53Speaker 15: Answer the question do you think people should go to
- 26:55Speaker 15: prison for being murderers?
- 26:56Speaker 3: This is so simple.
- 26:57Speaker 15: You could just say yes, I mean people should go
- 26:59Speaker 15: to jail.
- 27:00Speaker 16: But the billionaires who are steal of.
- 27:02Speaker 10: Course I relieve so like per of Americans.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Yes, of course.
- 27:07Speaker 15: You're not answering the question, Francis.
- 27:09Speaker 1: She cannot say say.
- 27:12Speaker 15: Yeah, So when someone breaks down your door and your
- 27:15Speaker 15: family's inside you, you're you'ing to me like, I'm sorry,
- 27:19Speaker 15: I don't I can't call the police.
- 27:20Speaker 14: It's just wrong.
- 27:21Speaker 15: I'm not going to call the police. I'm just gonna fight.
- 27:23Speaker 1: No, don't don't worry.
- 27:24Speaker 15: They will send the police to take over our property.
- 27:27Speaker 10: From m But I'm not saying that. There's not any situation.
- 27:31Speaker 10: We're armed enforcement. I would help us. However, I want
- 27:33Speaker 10: them all fired, so they don't exist at all. What's
- 27:36Speaker 10: amazing to me about that, about the idea of this,
- 27:39Speaker 10: is that she showed you two things that I think
- 27:42Speaker 10: are really important. The first one being that at some
- 27:45Speaker 10: point the elitist, idiot morons of the world gets so
- 27:50Speaker 10: elitist and idiot and moron they just become so far
- 27:53Speaker 10: separated from the reality of day to day life that
- 27:56Speaker 10: their thoughts are no longer thoughts they think have to
- 27:58Speaker 10: be contained in actual day to day circumstances. Like they're
- 28:03Speaker 10: fully philosophical, They're fully ideological and idealistic, to say the least.
- 28:09Speaker 10: They're the kind of things that they would say up
- 28:12Speaker 10: until that moment where say, a criminal smacked them in
- 28:14Speaker 10: the face and told them to give them all the
- 28:16Speaker 10: stuff in their pockets. Then all of a sudden, when
- 28:19Speaker 10: reality hits these people, they would become completely different. They
- 28:22Speaker 10: would call the cops, they would beg for any assistance
- 28:25Speaker 10: that they can get if it happened to them. But
- 28:27Speaker 10: until it does, when it's an abstract they like to
- 28:30Speaker 10: talk about it however they can. This is also going
- 28:32Speaker 10: viral because of that. This is an interview from Fox
- 28:35Speaker 10: from a few weeks ago where another DSA committee member
- 28:39Speaker 10: also sit down with Martha McCallum to have a discussion
- 28:42Speaker 10: and just the crazy things that they say are so
- 28:47Speaker 10: obviously un American that how could anyone with these thoughts
- 28:51Speaker 10: win any races anywhere? And if any money is coming
- 28:54Speaker 10: from this party and going to any representative at all,
- 28:57Speaker 10: even someone who denounces which they don't right now, which
- 29:01Speaker 10: is the scariest part of politics. I think today most
- 29:04Speaker 10: Democrats don't denounce any of these thoughts. They say, the
- 29:07Speaker 10: tense big enough for anybody. But nonetheless, if they did
- 29:10Speaker 10: denounce some of them but still take money from the DSA,
- 29:13Speaker 10: they shouldn't be winning elections either because they're being funded
- 29:16Speaker 10: by communists.
- 29:17Speaker 1: But here we go.
- 29:18Speaker 15: No one should have a right to a double digit
- 29:20Speaker 15: return on their investment.
- 29:21Speaker 2: No one has a right.
- 29:22Speaker 15: That's not in the constitution. All right, Francis, let's start
- 29:27Speaker 15: with you your reaction to that. Do people have a
- 29:28Speaker 15: right to make a profit and is there a lid
- 29:32Speaker 15: on how much you're allowed to make as a profit
- 29:35Speaker 15: under your dream of a socialist America?
- 29:40Speaker 16: You know, I think you're you're kind of looking at
- 29:42Speaker 16: it the opposite way that I would look at it.
- 29:44Speaker 16: I think that people have a right to have or
- 29:46Speaker 16: should have a right to have a safe place to live,
- 29:49Speaker 16: to not be living, you know, living on the streets
- 29:51Speaker 16: in squalor. I think when we are seeing that that
- 29:54Speaker 16: right is being eroded, then that's when we have a problem.
- 29:57Speaker 16: And I think that's the challenge that Democratic Socialist pol
- 30:00Speaker 16: is trying to address.
- 30:01Speaker 10: Yeah, we're trying to take money from successful people and
- 30:03Speaker 10: give it to what we claim as the government. Are
- 30:05Speaker 10: issues that we need to solve, and along the way,
- 30:08Speaker 10: we're going to keep most, if not all, of that money,
- 30:10Speaker 10: which is a base of communism and the other terrifying
- 30:13Speaker 10: idea here one second.
- 30:15Speaker 2: As I.
- 30:17Speaker 10: Sneeze off air, which you could watch on the internet
- 30:19Speaker 10: if you wanted to, I don't care about that, but anyway,
- 30:21Speaker 10: that's fun. The other thing that I think is really
- 30:24Speaker 10: interesting about this, and about one of the other clips
- 30:26Speaker 10: that I played, is the things that they use to
- 30:30Speaker 10: try to connect with some of their base. You heard
- 30:33Speaker 10: her reference Epstein in one of the dodges she did.
- 30:36Speaker 10: She tried to say that anybody connected to Epstein should
- 30:39Speaker 10: be in jail, and that's.
- 30:39Speaker 1: True, they should be. There's no reason they shouldn't be.
- 30:42Speaker 10: But that concept that Trump is protecting the Epstein clients,
- 30:47Speaker 10: or that conservatives are protecting the Epstein clients ridiculously useful
- 30:51Speaker 10: to the left. This is my point about Texas and
- 30:55Speaker 10: how they're saying that tall Rico has a legitimate shot
- 30:58Speaker 10: to win in this state. All of these things just
- 31:00Speaker 10: back up an idea that they want you to focus
- 31:02Speaker 10: on and then not listen when they say you don't
- 31:05Speaker 10: have a right to make a certain amount of money.
- 31:08Speaker 10: And here's the last thing I'll say to this concept
- 31:09Speaker 10: itself before we take a break, and it's the one
- 31:12Speaker 10: that everybody says all the time. When you tell me
- 31:15Speaker 10: how you're going to take more money from the rich
- 31:17Speaker 10: and give it to the poor. Any version of our
- 31:20Speaker 10: government is going to do more to harm the most
- 31:23Speaker 10: successful among us, because we're doing it for the greater good.
- 31:26Speaker 10: We're we're you know, Robinhood, and we're doing what needs
- 31:29Speaker 10: to be done. The thing they always forget, and they
- 31:32Speaker 10: definitely forgot New York. The people with the most money,
- 31:36Speaker 10: the most capability can leave. They can go anywhere they
- 31:39Speaker 10: want to go, They can live in any place, they
- 31:41Speaker 10: can run their business anywhere. Their success is not definitively tied.
- 31:46Speaker 10: In some cases, at least somewhat tied but not definitively
- 31:49Speaker 10: tied to being in this country. So if this country
- 31:52Speaker 10: makes it much harder for people to be successful, they
- 31:55Speaker 10: will leave. We need it to be easy for people
- 31:57Speaker 10: that have success here to grow and to benefit, because
- 32:01Speaker 10: the more they do that, the more they then share
- 32:04Speaker 10: that success with us via creating jobs, via all the
- 32:07Speaker 10: different avenues where we even get any money from them,
- 32:10Speaker 10: via any sort of taxes that harm their business, which
- 32:13Speaker 10: I have feelings about a lot of those things in general,
- 32:15Speaker 10: but I will just say this that like, some money
- 32:18Speaker 10: is better than none for the government, and the government
- 32:21Speaker 10: seems to not know that on the left because they
- 32:23Speaker 10: just want more. They're the greediest member of your family.
- 32:26Speaker 10: They're the member of the family that, after you've given
- 32:28Speaker 10: them a ton of money, is like, yeah, but could
- 32:30Speaker 10: I get a little bit more?
- 32:31Speaker 7: Though?
- 32:31Speaker 10: Could you give me a little bit more? For whatever reason?
- 32:34Speaker 10: I just would like some more? All right, We'll take
- 32:36Speaker 10: a break. A lot coming up thrilled to be with you.
- 32:39Speaker 10: It is the Craig Collins Show, KSV, The Voice of Tech.
- 32:42Speaker 10: This is the Craig Collins Show, KSV, The Voice of Texas.
- 32:45Speaker 10: Looks like we got another call from Tom, What did
- 32:48Speaker 10: you want to say?
- 32:51Speaker 5: Hello?
- 32:51Speaker 1: Hello Tom? Go ahead, you're on the air. What do
- 32:53Speaker 1: you want to say?
- 32:54Speaker 14: Hi?
- 32:56Speaker 12: So about socialism? I have a couple of comments. One
- 32:59Speaker 12: is the people that are interviewing them, and if they
- 33:03Speaker 12: ask about violent time or theft, they're going to get
- 33:07Speaker 12: the same dodge all the time. What they ought to
- 33:09Speaker 12: be asking is should people who advocate for HYDROXYCORKN and
- 33:14Speaker 12: hybermectin as possible cures for COVID? Should those people be
- 33:19Speaker 12: put in prison? Should people who call the Thomas a
- 33:23Speaker 12: man be put in prison?
- 33:25Speaker 1: Why? Why would you be put in prison for calling
- 33:27Speaker 1: Lee a Thomas a man? Just ask me that.
- 33:29Speaker 2: I just think that.
- 33:30Speaker 12: No, No, I think the socialists would say that they
- 33:33Speaker 12: should be got for I get.
- 33:37Speaker 10: I get so you don't think it's wrong to call
- 33:40Speaker 10: the a Thomas a man and you deserve to go
- 33:42Speaker 10: to prison for the socialist one.
- 33:44Speaker 12: I don't think it's I think it's free speech. You
- 33:46Speaker 12: can call a man a woman.
- 33:48Speaker 10: Or at first the way that you introduced it, I
- 33:51Speaker 10: was like, oh, I feel like I'm arguing with a
- 33:52Speaker 10: person that I'm going to disagree with.
- 33:53Speaker 5: A lot O.
- 33:54Speaker 1: No, now I get it.
- 33:55Speaker 12: No, those are. Yeah, I think that that have hard
- 33:58Speaker 12: a harder time answering questions like that.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Sure, then would it be wrong for some.
- 34:02Speaker 12: Should somebody be in prison for raping your daughter?
- 34:05Speaker 10: You know what's really interesting which is crazy by the way, Tom,
- 34:07Speaker 10: that you said that, and you're right about that, that
- 34:09Speaker 10: they would probably struggle more. But what's crazy is the
- 34:12Speaker 10: thought that within their party they need to answer questions
- 34:15Speaker 10: a certain way in general, so they can't answer that
- 34:18Speaker 10: people should go to jail. And then to your point
- 34:20Speaker 10: and the nice trap you designed, they feel obligated to
- 34:23Speaker 10: say out loud that someone has to go to jail
- 34:25Speaker 10: for saying that a dude is a woman or vice versa,
- 34:28Speaker 10: whatever it is. It is surreal that we're in this space.
- 34:32Speaker 10: Are you surprised like me? And how many people seem
- 34:35Speaker 10: to be receptive to some of their ideas.
- 34:38Speaker 12: I think the people who are receptive to those ideas
- 34:41Speaker 12: are most likely highly educated or they are poorly educated
- 34:49Speaker 12: and think that the highly educated have wisdom as opposed
- 34:53Speaker 12: to just knowledge.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, oh, that's a great way to say it, Tom.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Where are you calling from, by the.
- 34:58Speaker 10: Way, I live in an Alvin Well.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Thank you very much for the call. I'm hearing a
- 35:02Speaker 1: little bit of background noise. I don't if you're driving
- 35:04Speaker 1: when you go home.
- 35:05Speaker 2: Yeah, all right.
- 35:07Speaker 1: That was Tom and Alvin, and he's absolutely right.
- 35:10Speaker 10: And it goes to something I was talking about earlier
- 35:13Speaker 10: in the show too, and a really great piece of
- 35:15Speaker 10: audio that I saw. It's not new, it's pretty dated,
- 35:19Speaker 10: but it's a discussion of elitists and how elitists have
- 35:23Speaker 10: become who they are in our society. And mostly it's
- 35:26Speaker 10: the education crowd, it's the people who are professors in colleges.
- 35:31Speaker 10: A lot of politicians I think fall under this umbrella too,
- 35:34Speaker 10: and how much their life is just so far separated
- 35:38Speaker 10: from day to day from the experiences of like, for example, here's.
- 35:41Speaker 1: A good way to describe this thought.
- 35:44Speaker 10: Several politicians who advocate for versions of, you know, defunding
- 35:49Speaker 10: the police. They don't say it like that anymore because
- 35:52Speaker 10: that was too radical, although the DSA definitely does still
- 35:55Speaker 10: say that, but the other Democrats don't. But a lot
- 35:57Speaker 10: of people who were in that camp of we need
- 36:00Speaker 10: to take away the force in our society that's supposed
- 36:05Speaker 10: to be protecting us and using weapons and force to
- 36:09Speaker 10: do it, they didn't like that.
- 36:11Speaker 1: They all had their own private security. A lot of
- 36:13Speaker 1: the in Chicago.
- 36:14Speaker 10: The craziest thing to hear these mayors, two different ones
- 36:18Speaker 10: talk about how crime will be solved not by more
- 36:21Speaker 10: cops but by more social workers, and then every single
- 36:24Speaker 10: one of those mayors has a bunch of gun wielding
- 36:28Speaker 10: protection because they don't want to be part of that problem.
- 36:31Speaker 10: It's the same thing that I always think about when
- 36:33Speaker 10: I talk about this topic of Nancy Pelosi getting her
- 36:36Speaker 10: hair done in California, well, forcing California to be shut down.
- 36:40Speaker 10: It's my life is different, My experience is different, so
- 36:44Speaker 10: I don't have to play by the same rules as
- 36:46Speaker 10: everybody else. And then I come up with thoughts on
- 36:49Speaker 10: how everyone else should live their lives, and you're so
- 36:52Speaker 10: far separated from what the actual challenges are that you
- 36:55Speaker 10: need to just shut up the amount of people who
- 36:58Speaker 10: know that, and that's where we are, I think, and
- 37:01Speaker 10: to go a little bit further than what Tom did
- 37:04Speaker 10: in his thought, I do think that a large group
- 37:06Speaker 10: of the people who think that these are good ideas
- 37:08Speaker 10: are all so young and stupid. And I'm not saying
- 37:11Speaker 10: you're stupid just because you're young, but youth has some
- 37:15Speaker 10: challenges with what you experience and what you don't. If
- 37:18Speaker 10: you don't have any kids, if you don't have a
- 37:20Speaker 10: house that you own, if you don't have anything world
- 37:23Speaker 10: experience compared to someone else, you're focused on different stuff,
- 37:27Speaker 10: and sometimes your focus, or your lack of clarity and
- 37:30Speaker 10: full understanding of the big picture.
- 37:33Speaker 1: It causes your problems. And I love those arguments.
- 37:36Speaker 10: For example, I'll do another one with you, and then
- 37:38Speaker 10: we'll probably we already did both our breaks, right phil
- 37:41Speaker 10: we're out of breaks?
- 37:41Speaker 1: Are we at of breaks?
- 37:42Speaker 2: With the show? Yeah?
- 37:43Speaker 1: Now we have more or we don't. It's okay.
- 37:46Speaker 10: If we don't, I'm good. If we don't, don't, okay good.
- 37:49Speaker 10: I kind of like the way you did that. You're like,
- 37:53Speaker 10: maybe we do. But if Craig said we don't, we don't,
- 37:55Speaker 10: that's good.
- 37:55Speaker 1: I like it that way. Let's not do any more breaks.
- 37:58Speaker 10: But I was gonna say this just about the the
- 38:01Speaker 10: whole concept and the whole thought of it. There's a
- 38:03Speaker 10: lot of young people who love the idea of free
- 38:05Speaker 10: money for them.
- 38:06Speaker 1: They love it. Why wouldn't they?
- 38:08Speaker 10: And so if you tell them, hey, the people who
- 38:10Speaker 10: are in generations above you had it easier. They have
- 38:13Speaker 10: more money than you, whatever the excuse is. So we're
- 38:16Speaker 10: going to take their money and give it to you,
- 38:18Speaker 10: and you don't have to do anything for it. To
- 38:20Speaker 10: the crowd that all got a participation trophy, that sounds amazing,
- 38:24Speaker 10: that sounds incredible, they don't think about all the vast
- 38:27Speaker 10: amount of ways that it destroys our society entirely like
- 38:31Speaker 10: to actually attempt to do that. And so that's one
- 38:33Speaker 10: of the other reasons that I think the Democratic Socialists
- 38:36Speaker 10: of America are doing incredibly well with young people. They're
- 38:39Speaker 10: just radicalizing the already one sided opinion that by and
- 38:44Speaker 10: large a certain generation always has in our society. It's
- 38:47Speaker 10: not new, it's not something that you know, we haven't
- 38:50Speaker 10: seen before. It's the same thing we see over and
- 38:52Speaker 10: over and over again, and it's horrible. Obviously, there's one
- 38:57Speaker 10: other story that I did want to touch on. Nick
- 38:59Speaker 10: Shirley is still kicking a whole lot of butt in
- 39:02Speaker 10: the world of exposing stories and giving us information about
- 39:05Speaker 10: stuff that other people seem to have no idea, and
- 39:08Speaker 10: they definitely should have an idea what's going on. He
- 39:12Speaker 10: exposed fraud in New York and he walked around with
- 39:15Speaker 10: people that are powerful, like the amount of shoulders that
- 39:20Speaker 10: Nick Shirley is rubbing up against, and just the way
- 39:22Speaker 10: in which he's demonstrating that you can still do the
- 39:25Speaker 10: job journalism is supposed to do is amazing. He was
- 39:28Speaker 10: on the Benny Johnson Show, The Benny Show talking about
- 39:32Speaker 10: the left at the border and or excuse me, people
- 39:35Speaker 10: that were left at the border and some really really
- 39:38Speaker 10: terrible things that are still going on that he's just
- 39:40Speaker 10: doing simple, simple reporting on that. Mainstream media continues to
- 39:45Speaker 10: fail and ignore. They continue to be incapable of doing
- 39:49Speaker 10: what they used to be really great at. If you
- 39:51Speaker 10: rewind the tape enough years and you got to go
- 39:53Speaker 10: back pretty far for when mainstream media was good at this.
- 39:56Speaker 1: But here we go gotta.
- 39:57Speaker 11: They don't go and they don't assimilate with people who
- 40:00Speaker 11: are already there. They don't go and learn their language.
- 40:03Speaker 11: It's interesting when you go to these countries, they are
- 40:05Speaker 11: all in like groups. It's not like the British are
- 40:08Speaker 11: assimilating and speaking with the Muslims. It's the Muslims in
- 40:12Speaker 11: their own part of town and the British are on
- 40:13Speaker 11: the other side. There's no assimilation any means. Like, I
- 40:17Speaker 11: feel like there's the reason why these countries became so great,
- 40:20Speaker 11: and that's because everyone worked together. And now there's like
- 40:23Speaker 11: different teams working against each other inside these countries, and
- 40:25Speaker 11: that's where you see the conflict take place.
- 40:27Speaker 10: Yeah, and he goes even further to say that people
- 40:29Speaker 10: seem to want the ideals of Islam everywhere. They want
- 40:33Speaker 10: women to stay at home apparently in a lot of
- 40:35Speaker 10: these places, because that's one of the basic ideas of
- 40:38Speaker 10: Islamic religions. They have a whole lot of things that
- 40:41Speaker 10: are pretty antithetical to what the United States is and
- 40:44Speaker 10: is supposed to be. And it's just sort of amazing
- 40:47Speaker 10: to watch a lot of these divisions other places beyond
- 40:51Speaker 10: the United States be couched in religious war, be couched
- 40:53Speaker 10: in this and that, and these countries that are successful
- 40:56Speaker 10: still on needing to find a way to go back
- 40:59Speaker 10: to a place where.
- 41:00Speaker 1: They actually care.
- 41:02Speaker 10: And I should say this more clearly, they don't necessarily
- 41:06Speaker 10: care that everyone in a place is from that place.
- 41:10Speaker 1: That doesn't have to be true.
- 41:11Speaker 10: It's easier when say, everybody in England is English, everybody
- 41:15Speaker 10: in France is French, but it doesn't have to be
- 41:17Speaker 10: that way. Obviously, you can benefit from people coming in
- 41:20Speaker 10: from other places, but they have to do the thing
- 41:23Speaker 10: that Sureley is talking about. They have to have a
- 41:25Speaker 10: desire to assimilate to the culture of the place they
- 41:28Speaker 10: want to live and move. They can't have a desire
- 41:30Speaker 10: to essentially hate everything about the place they want to
- 41:34Speaker 10: be but then like the freedoms of it. And that's
- 41:36Speaker 10: one of the biggest challenges we're seeing in our country
- 41:39Speaker 10: and in a lot of the world, is there's a
- 41:41Speaker 10: lot of people who are coming here from other places. Granted,
- 41:43Speaker 10: when democrats are in charge, they're coming here illegally, maybe
- 41:46Speaker 10: because for certain reasons they can't get in legally, and
- 41:50Speaker 10: then they're thumbing their nose their finger to the United
- 41:54Speaker 10: States and it's basic values. The same interviews that I've
- 41:57Speaker 10: been playing this week and last week, there's ones with
- 42:00Speaker 10: the DSA where they claim Democratic Socialists of America people
- 42:04Speaker 10: claim that the ideals of the United States, the capitalist
- 42:08Speaker 10: society that we live in, has caused harm to other
- 42:11Speaker 10: countries in the world and forced people to flee the
- 42:14Speaker 10: countries they live in and come here, which makes no sense.
- 42:17Speaker 10: But encouraging people to hate our country and then allowing
- 42:20Speaker 10: people to come into our country with no expectation that
- 42:23Speaker 10: they're actually going to like the place they live is
- 42:26Speaker 10: suicidal from a standpoint of your economy, your society, your
- 42:31Speaker 10: culture surviving and thriving.
- 42:33Speaker 1: It's just not going to happen.
- 42:34Speaker 10: And it causes a lot of, as Shirley says, fighting
- 42:37Speaker 10: and separation, and this is obviously bad in the world
- 42:40Speaker 10: in which we live. And so I just thought it
- 42:42Speaker 10: was interesting that yet again, he's traveling, he's seeing firsthand
- 42:46Speaker 10: what's going on, and he's reporting on it.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Which is all that media was supposed to and used
- 42:52Speaker 1: to do.
- 42:52Speaker 10: They don't tell us what they actually think, they don't
- 42:55Speaker 10: tell us what they actually believe. They just simply tell
- 42:58Speaker 10: us what is actually going on. And it's wonderful because
- 43:01Speaker 10: then we're like, oh, okay, now we know certain stuff.
- 43:03Speaker 1: Now we're aware of how this exists.
- 43:05Speaker 10: All right, Before we get out of here, I do
- 43:07Speaker 10: want to do some lighter things, because I do like
- 43:10Speaker 10: what I call quick four ish segments that I think
- 43:13Speaker 10: are more fun than all the serious stuff.
- 43:15Speaker 2: Uh.
- 43:15Speaker 1: There's a new term that I thought was weird.
- 43:18Speaker 2: Uh. This is a.
- 43:20Speaker 10: Term for people who are dating but then also struggling financially,
- 43:24Speaker 10: infloidating inflation, dating inflidating is the term people use. It's
- 43:29Speaker 10: a financial term that essentially means that you're doing budget
- 43:32Speaker 10: friendly dates. Producer Phil, Do you take the missus out
- 43:36Speaker 10: for dates occasionally?
- 43:37Speaker 1: Is that something you do?
- 43:38Speaker 8: Yeah, every once in a while.
- 43:39Speaker 1: Do you try to do like real budget friendly stuff
- 43:41Speaker 1: or no?
- 43:42Speaker 8: It really depends on the on the date for like
- 43:45Speaker 8: sometimes sometimes no.
- 43:47Speaker 1: We're in radio, so I understand.
- 43:49Speaker 10: Yeah, sometimes we gotta, we gotta, you know, occasionally that's
- 43:54Speaker 10: gonna happen. But no, Like, what's funny about that is
- 43:57Speaker 10: in my relationship, I've been married for what is it now,
- 43:59Speaker 10: like wow, like thirteen fourteen years, there was a time
- 44:03Speaker 10: period where I think I impressed the misses by taking
- 44:05Speaker 10: her some more fancy probably more dating than marriage. But
- 44:08Speaker 10: there was a time where like you bring her to
- 44:09Speaker 10: the nice restaurant, you pay for all the things.
- 44:12Speaker 1: It did work.
- 44:13Speaker 10: Now immediately she's not happy because she's like, why are
- 44:15Speaker 10: you wasting this money?
- 44:16Speaker 1: How dare you?
- 44:17Speaker 3: Like?
- 44:17Speaker 2: Now?
- 44:17Speaker 10: The cheapest dates I think actually impressed my wife the most.
- 44:20Speaker 10: They still got to get her nice gifts. If I
- 44:23Speaker 10: get her a gift, it can't be, you know, something
- 44:25Speaker 10: I picked up on the cheap.
- 44:26Speaker 1: But if it's just a going out thing.
- 44:28Speaker 10: If we do something for twenty bucks instead of one hundred,
- 44:31Speaker 10: she is so much happier than she used to be.
- 44:34Speaker 10: So I kind of like this as an idea, and
- 44:36Speaker 10: I think it makes sense. But I think it's unfair
- 44:39Speaker 10: to think that this is something you're gonna do a
- 44:40Speaker 10: lot when you're dating and not actually like married to somebody.
- 44:43Speaker 8: That wuz amen. Dude, Yeah, it's some out here, man.
- 44:50Speaker 10: I love the way you just said that there's some
- 44:52Speaker 10: out here. There's some ladies out here who have very
- 44:55Speaker 10: different demands. You know, my wife says that to me
- 44:58Speaker 10: a lot. Actually, yes, she'll make that joke to me
- 45:00Speaker 10: a lot that like, I'm lucky I married her and
- 45:02Speaker 10: not somebody that wanted a lot more of my money.
- 45:04Speaker 8: It's not a joke, man, I swe scary if you do.
- 45:07Speaker 8: If you don't pay attention to the signs, they'll get you.
- 45:09Speaker 2: Dude.
- 45:10Speaker 10: My wife just got back from Mexico from her week
- 45:12Speaker 10: long trip there. I hope she's listening right now because
- 45:14Speaker 10: this is this is so good and absolutely true. And yeah,
- 45:17Speaker 10: I know she's right because I know buddies of mine
- 45:19Speaker 10: who are not even married but dating chicks and complain
- 45:22Speaker 10: to me all the time about like how big the
- 45:25Speaker 10: next thing is that they're doing for them, even just concerts. Dude,
- 45:28Speaker 10: I don't go to a lot of concerts, but if
- 45:31Speaker 10: I do go to them, I know how crazy those
- 45:33Speaker 10: tickets are. And I know friends that continue to take
- 45:36Speaker 10: these chicks out to stuff like this, like they really
- 45:38Speaker 10: want to see this artist and that's like a couple
- 45:41Speaker 10: hundred dollars night at least kind of thing.
- 45:43Speaker 8: It really depends on the chick foris want to go VIP?
- 45:46Speaker 1: Yeah, no, sure, well, and then they disappear on them.
- 45:49Speaker 4: Like.
- 45:49Speaker 10: The other thing that's terrible is some of these girls
- 45:51Speaker 10: will go out on a date like that and maybe
- 45:53Speaker 10: have been dating for a couple of weeks and then
- 45:55Speaker 10: vanish into the night.
- 45:56Speaker 8: After a while. They body might not call you bag takes.
- 45:58Speaker 1: Yeah, any of this that's horrible. Yeah, I know.
- 46:00Speaker 10: And every time I hear from one of my friends
- 46:02Speaker 10: who says something like that, my my wife is sitting
- 46:04Speaker 10: there next to me like, yep, yep, look at that slick.
- 46:07Speaker 8: I'm telling you, like, you gotta really you really be
- 46:10Speaker 8: on your p's and q's and let it get what
- 46:12Speaker 8: you won't.
- 46:13Speaker 10: By the way, I did get a message from a listener.
- 46:14Speaker 10: And then you asked me before the show if the
- 46:16Speaker 10: house was ready for the missus, because I was making
- 46:18Speaker 10: jokes that it might not have been as clean as
- 46:21Speaker 10: when she lives there all the time, because she's been
- 46:23Speaker 10: gone for a week.
- 46:23Speaker 1: And I did.
- 46:24Speaker 10: I did a lot of cleaning last night, did a
- 46:26Speaker 10: lot of like laundry and stuff today. So I think
- 46:28Speaker 10: it's okay, although I don't know. I won't know until
- 46:31Speaker 10: I actually get home.
- 46:32Speaker 8: Yeah, you're going to find out.
- 46:34Speaker 10: Oh yeah, at some point. She's definitely gonna tell me
- 46:36Speaker 10: if she's happy or not with how it. And actually
- 46:39Speaker 10: she just texted me that she had landed a little
- 46:40Speaker 10: bit ago, and she's like, should I take an Uber
- 46:42Speaker 10: or wait for you? Like, it's gonna be a couple
- 46:44Speaker 10: hours just taken uber. And so that's a gift in
- 46:47Speaker 10: and of itself that she can take an Ober to
- 46:49Speaker 10: get home and I'd have to stand around.
- 46:50Speaker 14: Wait.
- 46:51Speaker 8: Yeah, especially a day a boy, you don't want to
- 46:53Speaker 8: just be there with your luggage right looking at people
- 46:55Speaker 8: right now?
- 46:56Speaker 10: You know, No, it would be bad. All right, Well,
- 46:58Speaker 10: we got to get out of here. I think we
- 46:59Speaker 10: got about a minute left. Producer Phil thank You's always
- 47:01Speaker 10: for jumping in and being a part of the show.
- 47:03Speaker 1: Thank you to the listeners that called in.
- 47:05Speaker 10: Al Marco and al Marco, I know that you've said
- 47:08Speaker 10: a couple of times if you're still listening, that there
- 47:11Speaker 10: was a ticket giveaway that you were part of. It
- 47:13Speaker 10: was actually that night. The tickets that you won were
- 47:16Speaker 10: for that evening. But we're gonna make it right because
- 47:18Speaker 10: apparently he didn't know that. So we're going to fix
- 47:20Speaker 10: that for you. So at some point, maybe later this week,
- 47:23Speaker 10: if you're listening, call back in. We'll set something up.
- 47:26Speaker 10: We'll get you a different prize. But the comedy tickets
- 47:29Speaker 10: were actually for the evening of the show that we
- 47:32Speaker 10: did a little while ago.
- 47:32Speaker 1: But that's it. That's the whole show. Thrilled to be
- 47:34Speaker 1: with you.
- 47:35Speaker 2: Guys.
- 47:35Speaker 10: Talked again tomorrow on KSV The Voice of Texas, and
- 47:40Speaker 10: actually before we get out of here, I guess the
- 47:42Speaker 10: one last thing that I will say is that later
- 47:44Speaker 10: this week I will be filling in for Chris Salsato.
- 47:47Speaker 10: He is going to be on vacation on Thursday and Friday,
- 47:49Speaker 10: and I was like, yeah, I'll do that again, so
- 47:51Speaker 10: you'll hear me a couple times in the morning and

- 48:34Speaker 14: Netan Yahoo is pushing back on a recent deal announced
- 48:37Speaker 14: by President Trump. He says President Trump thinks his team
- 48:41Speaker 14: thinks they can get Hamas to disarm and demilitarize Guzzen.
- 48:45Speaker 14: They sent us a draft. We did not agree. It's
- 48:48Speaker 14: not our draft. We stand firm on our interest, and
- 48:52Speaker 14: I believe, both wisely and firmly. It marks a rare
- 48:55Speaker 14: display of friction between strong allies, the US and Israel.
- 48:59Speaker 14: The agree that calls for Hamas to begin disarming and
- 49:02Speaker 14: for Israel to halt its strikes and begin withdrawing from Gaza.
- 49:06Speaker 2: I met Donna Hue.
- 49:07Speaker 17: Drone attacks between Russia and Ukraine claim more civilian lives.
- 49:11Speaker 5: Russia and Ukraine are treating accusations that drone attacks are
- 49:15Speaker 5: causing civilian deaths. In eerie footage reposted by Ukraine's president,
- 49:19Speaker 5: a vegetable vendor in Curson is seen running around his
- 49:21Speaker 5: minivan set up as a produce stand, trying to escape
- 49:24Speaker 5: what Zelensky says is a Russian drawing. The man known
