Scheyer Stays at Duke | Michigan Wolverines Basketball News
Duke’s Jon Scheyer turned down the Dallas Mavericks’ offer, reaffirming his commitment to building a legacy at Duke after stepping into the head coach role just five years ago. With three Elite Eight runs and a Final Four in 2025, Scheyer credits his seven-year stint as an assistant under Coach K—and their deep personal bond—for preparing him for the challenge.
