- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Beca Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two times People's Choice Award winning podcast.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in that we are Kanya's
- 0:17Speaker 2: on the Gold Mic today. That's right? Does it feel? Oh?
- 0:22Speaker 2: What's up?
- 0:24Speaker 1: Just spitting game?
- 0:25Speaker 2: Oh? Hate that? Hate that for you, hate that for
- 0:30Speaker 2: us collectively. How you're doing? You know, how.
- 0:34Speaker 1: You're doing good? Just getting by? How are you doing?
- 0:40Speaker 2: Why are you just getting by?
- 0:41Speaker 1: You know?
- 0:42Speaker 3: The ripe old age of thirty eight is when things
- 0:45Speaker 3: start to happen hit you quick.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Life comes at you quick.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:49Speaker 1: And uh, you know I used to.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Have like things, hurts and pains and stuff, and I
- 0:54Speaker 3: would just muscle through them. And that's what I was
- 0:56Speaker 3: doing the last like two weeks, working out, living life,
- 0:59Speaker 3: putting on my way best, running up a hill.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Yeah I probably did some serious damage. Yeah.
- 1:06Speaker 3: So now I'm paying the price and my back is
- 1:10Speaker 3: so bad.
- 1:13Speaker 1: But we're out here.
- 1:14Speaker 2: What is it?
- 1:15Speaker 1: It's a backspasm?
- 1:18Speaker 2: I am so First of all, she told me she
- 1:21Speaker 2: had a back spasm, but she's had it for about
- 1:24Speaker 2: a week and she thought it was just a sore muscle,
- 1:26Speaker 2: like from working out, and so she's been doing her
- 1:28Speaker 2: regular scheduled programming. Oh my god, that's the worst thing
- 1:33Speaker 2: you can do. I know.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Out yeah, but you know that they're gun hurt. So
- 1:40Speaker 3: I was like, no paint, no gain, no paint, no game.
- 1:44Speaker 3: Turns out that's not true.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Pain. You do gain pain. Yeah yeah, yeah, okay, So
- 1:52Speaker 2: what's what's what's the remedy.
- 1:55Speaker 3: I'm doing acupuncture, I'm seeing a chiropractor today, and I'm
- 1:59Speaker 3: now taking it here. I'm not working out for a week.
- 2:01Speaker 3: I'm not even walking like I am staying still.
- 2:06Speaker 2: But did you tell your doctor that you wore a
- 2:08Speaker 2: weighted vest while seated here at the office? Did you
- 2:12Speaker 2: let him know about that?
- 2:13Speaker 1: I'm seeing him later today. I will let him know.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Don't worry, I will. I will totally wrap myself. I
- 2:18Speaker 3: just want to make sure we're covering. Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 2:22Speaker 3: but yes, I am taking it seriously now, and I'm really.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Sorry you're going through that. Back pain is like I
- 2:29Speaker 2: so weirdly enough, I last week I decided to build this.
- 2:35Speaker 2: We got our outdoor couch, and I was just like,
- 2:37Speaker 2: I can do this myself, and I looked into hiring
- 2:41Speaker 2: a task grabbit, but he wasn't going to get there
- 2:44Speaker 2: for till later, and we had somewhere to go, and
- 2:46Speaker 2: I thought, I'm going to do it myself, so I
- 2:48Speaker 2: start building it. It's so hard. I'm like, I have
- 2:51Speaker 2: no idea what I'm doing. Haley's social media person, Nicole,
- 2:55Speaker 2: was there and was willing to help me and said
- 2:58Speaker 2: that they would have fun doing it. So I said,
- 3:00Speaker 2: you were like, nah, I got no, no, no, that was
- 3:04Speaker 2: like dying. So we build it and I realized two
- 3:09Speaker 2: of the like they sent me two of the same sides,
- 3:12Speaker 2: so one of the sides I couldn't even put together.
- 3:14Speaker 2: And then we set it up in the spot that
- 3:17Speaker 2: it was going and I was like, I don't like it.
- 3:19Speaker 2: After all that, I could barely stand up. My back
- 3:23Speaker 2: was so stiff.
- 3:24Speaker 1: But what did it do? Did it last you?
- 3:26Speaker 2: Just the day my back paint?
- 3:28Speaker 1: Uh huh?
- 3:28Speaker 2: Well, I just did like a bunch of stretches and
- 3:31Speaker 2: I took some advil and I just you were just fine.
- 3:35Speaker 2: I was fine, got ready for the party and went off.
- 3:38Speaker 2: But I was so tired and dehydrated because I was like,
- 3:41Speaker 2: I'm not getting I'm not eating or drinking till I
- 3:44Speaker 2: finished this project. And then we didn't even like it.
- 3:47Speaker 2: I was so bummed. But the back pain, I literally
- 3:50Speaker 2: felt like an old man. I could barely stand up
- 3:52Speaker 2: at a straight, straight angle.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:54Speaker 3: The sleeping is like because then I laid down. It's
- 3:56Speaker 3: it's like the worst and I literally woke up. I
- 3:58Speaker 3: don't even know time was I start ba in bed.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Robbie's like, can I move the pillows in a different way?
- 4:03Speaker 3: Do you want to be on your side like I tried, backside, stomach,
- 4:06Speaker 3: other side like I was. I tried every position?
- 4:08Speaker 2: Do you have an actual lumbar pillow or is it
- 4:11Speaker 2: I should have brought you mine what I ordered one
- 4:14Speaker 2: because my bad paint sometimes give me that link.
- 4:20Speaker 1: And then Hayley, we'll.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Use it, and I'm like, god, we are literally an
- 4:23Speaker 2: elderly couple. This is so bad, but it really helps,
- 4:27Speaker 2: and it's so different than having just a pillow.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:31Speaker 3: So you know, I'm just like at the stage of
- 4:34Speaker 3: my life where I'm gonna start really examining my habits
- 4:38Speaker 3: and re examining them and just.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Taking a little bit better care of myself. How was
- 4:43Speaker 1: your weekend?
- 4:44Speaker 2: My weekend was great. We had a pretty chill weekend.
- 4:47Speaker 2: On Friday, we went to a Dwali party, which was
- 4:49Speaker 2: so fun.
- 4:50Speaker 1: I saw photos.
- 4:51Speaker 2: It's so fun.
- 4:53Speaker 1: What is Dwali?
- 4:54Speaker 2: So Duwali is the celebrating it's a religious celebration.
- 4:57Speaker 1: It's always in my calendar.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, it's a holiday. But it's celebrating light
- 5:03Speaker 2: over darkness. So Lily Lily Singing throws it and it's
- 5:06Speaker 2: called love and Light. It's but it is so fun
- 5:09Speaker 2: because we get to to everyone dresses up and it
- 5:12Speaker 2: is she goes all out. It is it's huge.
- 5:16Speaker 1: How many people I'm.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Bad at that? I'm bad at that? Like you're about it, okay,
- 5:21Speaker 2: but if you had to guess two hundred, holy yeah,
- 5:24Speaker 2: it looked like a massive space. Yeah yeah yeah, but she.
- 5:30Speaker 1: How do you even get two hundred people to something?
- 5:33Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. It's a it's a feat. Yeah,
- 5:36Speaker 2: and it's impressive, it is. But it was really fun
- 5:39Speaker 2: and I literally, aside from building the couch that day,
- 5:44Speaker 2: all I had that night I had. I had a
- 5:46Speaker 2: tequila shot, like a baby shot, so it wasn't even
- 5:48Speaker 2: like a full shot. And then I didn't even finish
- 5:51Speaker 2: my cocktail and.
- 5:53Speaker 1: I literally felt so drunk so.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Bad the next day, like tire, like almost hung over,
- 5:59Speaker 2: but I'm like, she did be grouping up?
- 6:02Speaker 1: Yea, yeah, what birthday is this?
- 6:06Speaker 2: I'm going to be thirty seven.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Yeah, enjoying the last three sixty by.
- 6:14Speaker 2: We had the most chill Saturday ever, Like we barely
- 6:18Speaker 2: did anything. We went on a walk kind of in
- 6:21Speaker 2: the evening and then had dinner and just chilled. And
- 6:24Speaker 2: then yesterday I finally got the like we put in
- 6:29Speaker 2: this massive it's a it's called a swim spa, so
- 6:32Speaker 2: it's it's like huge d'acuzi, but you can also use it.
- 6:37Speaker 2: It has like a these really strong jets, so you
- 6:39Speaker 2: can swim laps in it, so it's like pushing against you.
- 6:42Speaker 2: I haven't done that part yet, but it probably won't.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I don't moved on for.
- 6:47Speaker 2: The Dwali party like it was okay, I was talking
- 6:50Speaker 2: about you didn't ask any other questions.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Well, hello, where I saw major celeb sightings?
- 6:56Speaker 2: Oh yeah, are you talking about Chapel?
- 6:58Speaker 1: Yes?
- 6:59Speaker 2: Yeah, Well Haley?
- 7:00Speaker 1: Is she cool? Was she cool? Was she nice? Was
- 7:03Speaker 1: she fun? Was she dancing?
- 7:05Speaker 2: Did you come to the party where Haley was dressed
- 7:08Speaker 2: like the Grinch?
- 7:09Speaker 1: Yeah? And you were Cindy Lou or yeah, Martha.
- 7:11Speaker 2: May Martha may Chapel was there that night.
- 7:15Speaker 1: I couldn't tell you.
- 7:16Speaker 2: But yeah, so they're they're like friends. So she but
- 7:20Speaker 2: we were shocked to see her. I'm like, you're just
- 7:23Speaker 2: out and.
- 7:23Speaker 1: About Yeah, is she like on tour right now? Yeah?
- 7:26Speaker 2: I don't, yeah, but she's really sweet and normal. I
- 7:31Speaker 2: just was like, congrats on everything else? Do you say, yeah,
- 7:33Speaker 2: congratulations on life?
- 7:35Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 7:35Speaker 2: Yeah, things are going well well Yeah, swimming so yeah,
- 7:40Speaker 2: light love and light. I'm trying to think. I mean,
- 7:47Speaker 2: we saw a lot of people, Jay Shatty and Roddy. Yeah.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Jay's so nice because, like I see, he interviews the
- 7:56Speaker 2: top of the like he's friends and connected with the
- 7:59Speaker 2: top of the top in terms of celebrity world. And
- 8:03Speaker 2: every time I see him, he seeks me out to
- 8:06Speaker 2: say hello, Me and Haley. It's so coazing. And I
- 8:09Speaker 2: know that that that feels like the bare minimum, but
- 8:13Speaker 2: when you're in this space and you're in these parties
- 8:15Speaker 2: in this industry, it's very rare. Totally.
- 8:18Speaker 1: So he they invited us over for like a game
- 8:21Speaker 1: night one night.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Rob and I went and we didn't know anybody else
- 8:25Speaker 3: aside from Jay and Roddy obviously, and it was so fun.
- 8:30Speaker 3: They like made everybody feel so comfortable and welcome, and
- 8:33Speaker 3: we all just like got along so well and it
- 8:36Speaker 3: was really really fun.
- 8:37Speaker 1: They have like a really good vibe.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Yeah, and you it's interesting they're welcoming, but also the
- 8:42Speaker 2: people that they surround themselves with are the same vibe.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Yeah. Like we all were just like, okay, we're all
- 8:48Speaker 1: friends now. Yeah, like playing all these games. It was
- 8:50Speaker 1: so cute.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Guess who else was there?
- 8:53Speaker 1: Oh? I love this?
- 8:55Speaker 3: Okay, TV world yes, movie world, No, singer world so
- 9:04Speaker 3: so TV.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Actor, actor, actress?
- 9:07Speaker 2: Not an actor, oh, producer no, Jeff Probes, No, he
- 9:14Speaker 2: could have been there.
- 9:14Speaker 3: I didn't see him, am I Okay? Maybe one more
- 9:18Speaker 3: hint so TV but not actor.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Recently on the pod.
- 9:23Speaker 1: On our pod, Oh yeah, Reality.
- 9:28Speaker 2: TV to see her and I went up and said hey,
- 9:30Speaker 2: And then I was like, she's She definitely acted like
- 9:33Speaker 2: she did, so I'm not sure if she really did,
- 9:37Speaker 2: but she definitely did a great job pretending if she didn't.
- 9:42Speaker 2: I always clock myself, what do you mean.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Like if I go up to somebody that I'm seeing,
- 9:47Speaker 3: because it's like you're out of your element, you know.
- 9:50Speaker 3: I'm sure if she saw you in a podcasting conference.
- 9:52Speaker 3: She'd be like, oh, yeah, that's the girl.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I podcast last week.
- 9:55Speaker 3: No, but like when you see people in context, it's
- 9:58Speaker 3: like different. I feel like then when you them at
- 10:00Speaker 3: like a party random that you don't even know, you
- 10:02Speaker 3: know exactly. So I was clock people and I'm like, hey, hey.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Bosma, you just said my podcast grubbing it. Remember you
- 10:10Speaker 1: wearing the red Yeah.
- 10:11Speaker 2: But she did such a good job at acting like
- 10:14Speaker 2: she knew who I was. I didn't even get to
- 10:16Speaker 2: that point. Oh okay, I was like, oh my, my,
- 10:19Speaker 2: my fiance. Haley pointed you out and she loves you,
- 10:23Speaker 2: and so she was like, where is she? And so
- 10:25Speaker 2: Haley came over and saiday, because Haley's a huge fan.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Did she watch the Real Housewives?
- 10:29Speaker 2: No? Just from her business entrepreneurship.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Yeah. Wowow, so it.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Was really fun. That was really fun. Again, she recognized me.
- 10:38Speaker 1: I love this.
- 10:39Speaker 2: I was there. Oh yeah, I said. I was like,
- 10:42Speaker 2: my friend Tanya spent some time with you at the wedding,
- 10:45Speaker 2: and she was like, we love Tanya. So yeah, it
- 10:50Speaker 2: was it was a party.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Wow, sounds like a party.
- 10:53Speaker 2: It was really fun though.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Mer Saturday night and my Saturday night could not have
- 10:56Speaker 3: been more different. I couldn't even get it.
- 10:58Speaker 2: That was a Friday night. Saturday night, we probably had
- 11:01Speaker 2: a very similar.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Uh yeah, sat on my donut eating a donut, No,
- 11:06Speaker 3: eating a cinnamon roll.
- 11:09Speaker 1: It was like the gluten free, dairy free one.
- 11:11Speaker 2: I didn't do that.
- 11:12Speaker 1: It was so not worth it.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I made so you know how Paulina made
- 11:18Speaker 2: those sweet potato brownies that y'all really raped about. Haley
- 11:22Speaker 2: was craving them. So I got the recipe from Paulina
- 11:25Speaker 2: and I made them and I was like, I don't
- 11:29Speaker 2: know what these are supposed to taste like, but bad.
- 11:32Speaker 2: I brought them over to Haley and she was like,
- 11:35Speaker 2: this texture is very weird.
- 11:36Speaker 1: I love the texture.
- 11:38Speaker 2: It's very spongy. Yeah okay, so that was right, Yeah okay,
- 11:42Speaker 2: But then her first bite she made a face and
- 11:45Speaker 2: I was like, you don't have to eat them. My problem,
- 11:47Speaker 2: Like she didn't like it, but then she went back
- 11:50Speaker 2: for more.
- 11:50Speaker 3: So she used to be such a treat because to me,
- 11:53Speaker 3: brownies are so rich that I don't enjoy them. This
- 11:56Speaker 3: brownie is not as rich. It's like a little hint
- 11:59Speaker 3: of chocolate. I love a sweet potato.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Let me tell you.
- 12:02Speaker 3: Something, if there are Easties come back on twenty twenty six.
- 12:05Speaker 3: The sweet potato needs its own category because I love
- 12:07Speaker 3: them in as like a mix of things. I love
- 12:10Speaker 3: them raw, like like a potato. I love them like fried,
- 12:16Speaker 3: I love them cubed. I love sweet potato as a
- 12:19Speaker 3: replacement for things inside baked goods. I love a sweet potato.
- 12:24Speaker 2: How dare you say if the Easty Awards come back?
- 12:27Speaker 1: So sorry, I didn't want to put pressure on you after.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Last year's performance. Do you think he's gonna stop while
- 12:33Speaker 2: he's on the up and up?
- 12:34Speaker 1: No?
- 12:35Speaker 3: No, no, So when they come back, I would please really
- 12:37Speaker 3: enjoy a special sweet potato category.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Maybe you can come present it.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Yes, I can present it. If do I get to
- 12:43Speaker 3: If I get to pick it too, well, no, okay,
- 12:46Speaker 3: we'll talk.
- 12:47Speaker 2: We'll no. No, if you don't get.
- 12:48Speaker 3: The way, I like them every way, so there's no
- 12:51Speaker 3: winner or loser for me, to be honest.
- 12:55Speaker 1: I I came up. I did something very I feel
- 13:01Speaker 1: very like Taylor swiftish if you will this weekend, but
- 13:05Speaker 1: I'll tell you after we come back from the break.
- 13:31Speaker 2: All right, we're back. So you felt very Taylor swiftish, Yes, weekend.
- 13:37Speaker 4: So.
- 13:40Speaker 3: As I'm in my like soft girl era. Robbie could
- 13:43Speaker 3: not be more opposite than me. Like he's literally in
- 13:45Speaker 3: his like grind era, like whatever he's doing, So we're
- 13:49Speaker 3: on like total opposite what's grinding like work or what
- 13:53Speaker 3: no like with his like workouts, like he's like waited
- 13:56Speaker 3: best and do this and Macro's and like you know,
- 13:59Speaker 3: in that world. And I'm like, could not be farther
- 14:02Speaker 3: from that right now, Like I'm like, walk pilates, do
- 14:05Speaker 3: what my body feels, eat warm foods, nourishing, you know,
- 14:09Speaker 3: Like I'm just in that phase, right But we do
- 14:12Speaker 3: enjoy walking together, Like that's something that I love to
- 14:14Speaker 3: do quality time. So we went on a walk and
- 14:18Speaker 3: we were deciding whether we wanted to go uphill or downhill,
- 14:21Speaker 3: and we he wanted to go uphill.
- 14:23Speaker 1: I wanted to go downhill. We ended up going uphill.
- 14:26Speaker 2: I created a song, Wait, don't you have to go
- 14:29Speaker 2: uphill if you go downhill?
- 14:31Speaker 3: So yes, technically you have to go up and down
- 14:34Speaker 3: both ways. But if you go the uphill is much
- 14:38Speaker 3: harder than if you go downhill first and then back up.
- 14:41Speaker 3: The up is much steeper, So you're going up waist
- 14:43Speaker 3: steeper than you would be going up if you went
- 14:45Speaker 3: down first?
- 14:46Speaker 1: Does that make sense?
- 14:47Speaker 2: Sure?
- 14:48Speaker 3: So I created a song and it's been honestly stuck
- 14:51Speaker 3: in my head all weekend.
- 14:53Speaker 2: You got some good hooks, you have some hooky music, right, Yeah?
- 14:57Speaker 2: How does it go?
- 14:58Speaker 1: Sack?
- 14:59Speaker 4: We're fun for love?
- 15:02Speaker 1: But should in the.
- 15:05Speaker 4: Sacrifice to sacrifices for love.
- 15:12Speaker 1: It's a thankless job because.
- 15:14Speaker 4: You get up and do what you want sacrifice for love.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Sacrifice that makes sense. That's wonderful.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Another thank you. I was waiting for the applause.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Another bop bop that we should use to get you
- 15:35Speaker 2: in front of Taylor for some songwriting sessions.
- 15:38Speaker 1: It's honestly was stuck in my head all weekend.
- 15:40Speaker 3: I kept singing it anytime he would we would do
- 15:42Speaker 3: something that like he wanted to do, is like watch
- 15:44Speaker 3: football or.
- 15:45Speaker 2: Like or like you should make it.
- 15:49Speaker 1: A sound Sacrifices for love.
- 15:54Speaker 2: There's a really intense eye contact happening right now.
- 15:58Speaker 1: You get up and do what you want? Who Sack
- 16:02Speaker 1: refies be love?
- 16:04Speaker 2: Great? Yeah, thank you for sharing that.
- 16:08Speaker 1: You're welcome.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Did you start the artist way?
- 16:10Speaker 1: Oh? Yes? Did you good? No? Becca?
- 16:13Speaker 3: Well we ever talked about it. Well, we were supposed
- 16:16Speaker 3: to start last Monday.
- 16:16Speaker 2: I know, but then we never talked about it, so I.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Didn't actually technically start start.
- 16:21Speaker 3: I read the like intro that oh okay, So basically
- 16:25Speaker 3: it tells you seven to ten hours a week, which
- 16:27Speaker 3: I thought, Hell, I probably won't finish in the twelve weeks,
- 16:31Speaker 3: which I'm okay with. I might take a little bit longer,
- 16:35Speaker 3: but I will get to the end.
- 16:36Speaker 2: One thing about the artist way is it's your own journey.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Yes, so when I saw seven to ten hours, I
- 16:40Speaker 3: thought this might take me a year to finish. But
- 16:44Speaker 3: by the end of the year, I'm going to be
- 16:46Speaker 3: a changed woman. But yeah, so the journaling, three pages
- 16:52Speaker 3: of journaling every single morning, that's kind of where it
- 16:54Speaker 3: throws me, because when your girl gets up very early,
- 16:57Speaker 3: the thought of journaling three pages feels a little doing.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Well, my big you have to do it. My biggest
- 17:03Speaker 2: mistake was buying a I got really excited when I
- 17:06Speaker 2: got the book and I went and got like, this
- 17:08Speaker 2: really cute journal, but the pages are huge, So three pages,
- 17:13Speaker 2: like I had carpal tunnel basically trying to write.
- 17:16Speaker 1: No, I just forgot like one of those little spiral notebooks.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Right, I should wait, what, like what size?
- 17:21Speaker 1: I don't know, Like the kids use school okay, seventy wide.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Okay, I don't know. I'm not in that world, so
- 17:28Speaker 2: I can't tell you. So what did you think about
- 17:31Speaker 2: my prank?
- 17:34Speaker 1: Robbie thought it was hilarious?
- 17:36Speaker 2: Let me tell you, because sometimes I don't know if
- 17:39Speaker 2: he's gonna like go along with me or like ruin
- 17:41Speaker 2: it for me.
- 17:41Speaker 1: I feel like he'd go along with.
- 17:42Speaker 2: It sometimes I don't know, though.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Yeah, but I have my girl, and Nicole had my back.
- 17:47Speaker 2: I wasn't gonna shout her out her name because it's fine.
- 17:50Speaker 2: The people were upset.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Who was upset?
- 17:52Speaker 2: My Tilly Tots?
- 17:55Speaker 1: The Tilly Tots were probably so upset I was. I
- 17:59Speaker 1: was more upset that she was the only one out
- 18:02Speaker 1: of all. I was like.
- 18:04Speaker 3: I started seeing the comments on the actual video and
- 18:07Speaker 3: I was like, this is weird. But I didn't think
- 18:09Speaker 3: any suspicious behavior. Yeah, and I was like, this is weird.
- 18:12Speaker 3: People are just like rattling me. But then I started
- 18:15Speaker 3: getting dms, like hundreds of dms. That's when I was
- 18:18Speaker 3: like something's happening, Like this is so weird.
- 18:21Speaker 2: I was so proud of everyone in The comments were
- 18:25Speaker 2: so funny, like they got so creative and how they were.
- 18:29Speaker 3: Yeah, like I love the Christmas colors. I was like,
- 18:32Speaker 3: it's not Christmas. It's green and orange.
- 18:34Speaker 2: But then even when like I had several people reach
- 18:38Speaker 2: out and after I said, you know, someone already someone
- 18:42Speaker 2: ruined it. Huh, and they were like, I'm either way,
- 18:45Speaker 2: it's still red.
- 18:48Speaker 1: It's not. It's just not.
- 18:51Speaker 2: And then Pauline wrote me and goes, it's orange. I
- 18:55Speaker 2: was like, okay, but at the very least you have
- 18:57Speaker 2: to admit it's like blood orange and red orange.
- 19:01Speaker 3: No, the colors of Tenderfest are orange well, and when
- 19:07Speaker 3: fixed their.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Merch being a little red, someone didn't get the sample.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Okay, it was very creative.
- 19:12Speaker 3: I was just a little bit bewildered and dumbfounded that
- 19:15Speaker 3: it took that long for somebody to tell me what
- 19:18Speaker 3: was actually going on. I was like, where are my
- 19:20Speaker 3: Tanya tats at? It was they were playing along with
- 19:23Speaker 3: the gang.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Because I appreciate it. It's an innocent enough prank people,
- 19:28Speaker 2: it's fun.
- 19:28Speaker 1: It was not innocent. It was spiking cortisol.
- 19:31Speaker 2: It was. But your responses and all caps saying it's
- 19:34Speaker 2: orange to so many people was I literally was giggling
- 19:38Speaker 2: the whole time looking through the comments, it was it
- 19:40Speaker 2: was joyful for me. I'm so glad I brought you joy. Yeah.
- 19:45Speaker 1: But yeah, Robbie thought it was so. It's so funny.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Ship back. I was so funny.
- 19:49Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, yeah, oh I did something really big
- 19:54Speaker 3: this week.
- 19:55Speaker 2: You do?
- 19:56Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, do we need to take another break?
- 19:57Speaker 2: No, we don't. So do we talk about some something
- 20:00Speaker 2: else and then you can tease it. Okay, you did
- 20:02Speaker 2: something really big this week. We'll get back to that.
- 20:04Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, Sally, your birthday or your Halloween?
- 20:07Speaker 1: Yeah? What are you gonna do? What are your plans
- 20:10Speaker 1: for birthday? What you for Halloween?
- 20:12Speaker 2: Nay? Maybe we are doing a spa day okay, and
- 20:16Speaker 2: then like dinner with you know uh.
- 20:21Speaker 1: As you get older? Yeah, and you like are now
- 20:24Speaker 1: engaged to be married?
- 20:27Speaker 2: Right.
- 20:28Speaker 3: I never want to like overstep, so I'm always like
- 20:31Speaker 3: hounding you, like what do you want to do?
- 20:32Speaker 1: What do you want to do?
- 20:33Speaker 3: But then I'm like, I don't want to overstep, and
- 20:35Speaker 3: like obviously, if Haley's planning something, I just want to
- 20:38Speaker 3: like let her do it. But I want to offer
- 20:40Speaker 3: my help and services, but I don't want to be
- 20:42Speaker 3: pushy with her because like it's not like you do
- 20:45Speaker 3: you know what I mean. So I'm finding myself in
- 20:47Speaker 3: like a little bit of a conundrum.
- 20:51Speaker 2: I think, just relax, show up. I think one thing
- 20:54Speaker 2: Hailey knows about you that she's like really like, I
- 20:58Speaker 2: think she's appreciated you as a best friend to me
- 21:01Speaker 2: for so long, but I think during the engagement process
- 21:04Speaker 2: and party and all that she really was like, Wow,
- 21:07Speaker 2: Tanya is really amazing. So I think if she needs.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Help, she'll reach she'll reach out.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Okay, I told her if you I don't really have
- 21:16Speaker 2: a big plan where she should need a lot of help,
- 21:19Speaker 2: but if she should find herself in that position, okay,
- 21:22Speaker 2: she knows to reach out to you. Okay, so thank
- 21:25Speaker 2: you so much.
- 21:26Speaker 1: But I drove me a couple like seeds for her,
- 21:29Speaker 1: so she ticularly.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Well, it's so funny because she goes. I really appreciate
- 21:38Speaker 2: that you do a trip every year because that makes
- 21:40Speaker 2: it so much easier because it's just like the trip
- 21:43Speaker 2: is the birthday and like there's not a whole lot
- 21:45Speaker 2: of like needing to court. I'm sorry I keep hitting
- 21:47Speaker 2: the mic.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Really, that was the first time I heard it.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Oh, it's like it's just done. The birthday celebration is
- 21:54Speaker 2: pretty much done, aside from like scheduling a reservation to
- 21:57Speaker 2: go to dinner or the airbnb, you know. But she
- 22:00Speaker 2: was like, it's I get why you like doing that
- 22:02Speaker 2: because I'm like, what should we do? Where should we go?
- 22:05Speaker 2: And I'm like, oh, wherever. I'm fine. I don't really.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Whatever birthday trip seems. Are you guys going away?
- 22:12Speaker 2: No, so that we're doing the Halloween party. So although
- 22:16Speaker 2: I think we might end up doing like another trip
- 22:19Speaker 2: in November because I think I'm gonna miss getting away
- 22:23Speaker 2: for my birthday, but we went to I did Vegas
- 22:26Speaker 2: and I did Nashville, so I was nervous. I was
- 22:28Speaker 2: going to be too, just traveled out and just wanted
- 22:31Speaker 2: to be home. But my sister Henk is flying and
- 22:34Speaker 2: her girlfriend Morgan are flying in, so they're gonna be
- 22:37Speaker 2: there for the weekend. It'll be fun.
- 22:38Speaker 1: I got the head count, Oh did you okay?
- 22:41Speaker 2: I figured you had all that. Yeah, so I'm turning
- 22:44Speaker 2: thirty seven. Wow, not really much. It's not like a
- 22:51Speaker 2: what do you call it? A milestone? Here? By any means,
- 22:54Speaker 2: every year is a milestone year being alive as a milestone. Yes,
- 22:57Speaker 2: and I'm very grateful for another year. And I'm very
- 22:59Speaker 2: happy going into thirty seven. And I'm very excited about
- 23:02Speaker 2: what thirty seven holds for little me.
- 23:06Speaker 3: It doesn't hold a wedding, No, No, thirty eight is
- 23:10Speaker 3: the year for that.
- 23:11Speaker 2: I think it'll be a thirty eight year Okay, yeah,
- 23:15Speaker 2: maybe thirty nine depending on what time. Maybe are we
- 23:18Speaker 2: doing which Its like that would be crazy.
- 23:21Speaker 1: If we Oh, I've known people that were engaged for
- 23:23Speaker 1: five years.
- 23:24Speaker 2: No, no, no, I'm yeah, I'm I personally am very content,
- 23:28Speaker 2: like I'm not if I want us to both be
- 23:30Speaker 2: in a place where we can like actually plan it,
- 23:32Speaker 2: get what we want. Make sure everyone's available, because everyone
- 23:36Speaker 2: I need to make sure everyone has even if they
- 23:38Speaker 2: have children, that their children are of the age that
- 23:41Speaker 2: they can at least bring a babysitter and have a
- 23:43Speaker 2: mind out. Yeah yeah, and not be like glued to
- 23:48Speaker 2: the pump yes, or breastfeeding. Yes that that and even
- 23:54Speaker 2: if they are, we'll we'll figure it out. You can't,
- 23:57Speaker 2: you can't. Life is happening all around.
- 24:00Speaker 1: It is his life. It just happens his life. Yeah.
- 24:04Speaker 3: So, but we'll be there for you no matter what. No, no,
- 24:07Speaker 3: I know, baby on boob or sons, you.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Know, yeah, baby on tea or not.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Yeah, Okay, you had a big thing that you did
- 24:18Speaker 2: this weekend.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Yeah, but I'm going to tell you after the break.
- 24:20Speaker 2: While she is a tease today, I.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Know I did something huge this weekend. We're back.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Yes, it's the gold, Mike, it's me. It's making me
- 24:54Speaker 3: feel in charge. I watched Grace outom me.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Wow, thank you.
- 25:04Speaker 3: We're girl to do to get some class.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Wow. I hope all of you, I have, all of
- 25:13Speaker 2: you are absolutely riveted by that.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Well it's a big deal.
- 25:17Speaker 2: But I think the person who would care the most
- 25:19Speaker 2: is not here today.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Well, how serendipitous. Serendipitous? Yeah, I hope he gives us
- 25:26Speaker 3: a download.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Okay, so what'd you think?
- 25:29Speaker 3: So I've realized something in my life, Okay, I in
- 25:35Speaker 3: my socrol era. I'm realizing I need to just watch
- 25:39Speaker 3: totally mindless television because any sort of like life threatening,
- 25:43Speaker 3: like these diseases, these explosions, the blood, it all makes
- 25:47Speaker 3: me anxious and I just can't have that in my
- 25:51Speaker 3: life right now.
- 25:52Speaker 4: Hm.
- 25:52Speaker 3: The episode made me so anxious. It was very good, Yeah,
- 25:57Speaker 3: but I was I was like on edge. I felt
- 25:59Speaker 3: my heart beating and I.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Don't like it. Yeah, so I don't know if I'll
- 26:02Speaker 1: be partaking in episode two.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Okay, did you watch episode though? Yeah, I watched the.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Premiere and not but not the second one.
- 26:11Speaker 2: I haven't watched the second one. Okay, Oh I did
- 26:13Speaker 2: watch the second one.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Oh is it good?
- 26:16Speaker 2: M Yeah, I felt like the the was more impactful.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Yeah. I also link spoiler alert not dead.
- 26:27Speaker 2: No him to die. No, they're not gonna kill him.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Well, Mark made it seemed like he was like not
- 26:33Speaker 1: gonna make it.
- 26:34Speaker 2: I know they definitely try to make it feel that way.
- 26:37Speaker 3: But I so I was expecting. I was like bracing
- 26:40Speaker 3: myself for like his death, and then I was.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Like, oh another te No, he's very much alive. Yes,
- 26:49Speaker 2: Maggie came back in this episode because Amelia is not
- 26:53Speaker 2: doing well.
- 26:53Speaker 1: It was the second episode. Yeah, so they were.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Like in the house the whole time with Meredith Maggie
- 26:58Speaker 2: and the whole episode their scenes were all in the house.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:02Speaker 2: And then it was like Link working too hard, trying
- 27:06Speaker 2: to get better, and Joe being mad that he's not
- 27:07Speaker 2: slowing down.
- 27:08Speaker 3: You know, yeah, just not as it feels like a
- 27:11Speaker 3: filler episode. Yeah, yeah, that's fine, that's fair.
- 27:13Speaker 2: Yeah, when you come back with a premiere cliffs So
- 27:16Speaker 2: Bang and like that one. Yeah, and that was the
- 27:19Speaker 2: four hundred and fiftieth episode, the one that aired second,
- 27:22Speaker 2: the second episode, no way, So I think they like
- 27:25Speaker 2: to keep those episodes more hopeful and like, yeah, nothing
- 27:31Speaker 2: too heavy.
- 27:34Speaker 3: On the other hand, do you know what show has
- 27:36Speaker 3: me hooked that I cannot stop thinking about? I cannot
- 27:40Speaker 3: wait for the finale on Wednesday?
- 27:42Speaker 2: Oh loves Fun. Yes, everyone's asking me if I if
- 27:46Speaker 2: I'm watching it.
- 27:47Speaker 1: It is so good this season.
- 27:50Speaker 3: Like I they released two episodes last Wednesday, we binged
- 27:54Speaker 3: them done, and I'm like, I cannot believe I have
- 27:57Speaker 3: to wait a whole nother week to get the finale.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Well that's two more days, yeah, forty eight long hours.
- 28:03Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's how hooked I am.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Wow. Yeah, Is are there people that you're rooting for?
- 28:08Speaker 2: Is it more dramatic?
- 28:09Speaker 3: There's one couple that I'm really rooting for. If they
- 28:11Speaker 3: don't get married, then like love is a lie, Love
- 28:15Speaker 3: is a lie. But the other couples are just so
- 28:18Speaker 3: so much of a disaster that it's like so interesting,
- 28:21Speaker 3: kind of felt like just kind of keeping.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Up with the chaos.
- 28:25Speaker 3: Yeah, but then there's one that, like, I really truly
- 28:28Speaker 3: just genuinely feel like they're I don't know, like she
- 28:30Speaker 3: did things differently. She picked someone that she normally wouldn't pick,
- 28:34Speaker 3: which is I feel like, is what the process is
- 28:35Speaker 3: all about. And so I feel like that is like,
- 28:38Speaker 3: that's her heart leading her, and so I'm like, I
- 28:40Speaker 3: hope it works out for her, you know, and she
- 28:42Speaker 3: seems so genuine like she's in it for the right reasons.
- 28:45Speaker 2: Yeah, the right reasons. Yeah, they're tough to find these days.
- 28:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I find her to be one of those people.
- 28:51Speaker 3: So I don't want to give spoilers. But Sparkle Megan.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Oh yeah, she's really sweet.
- 28:58Speaker 3: I watched the first few episodes and you weren't hooked,
- 29:01Speaker 3: I know, but I was telling Haley maybe we should watch.
- 29:07Speaker 2: She does a better job at watching and I just
- 29:09Speaker 2: like scroll my phone if I'm not interested, but I'm
- 29:11Speaker 2: paying attention enough to like keep up. But I did
- 29:15Speaker 2: Sparkle Megan did stand out to me. Yes, yeah, she
- 29:19Speaker 2: ended up.
- 29:19Speaker 1: With And then we're also watching Special Forces. Oh yeah,
- 29:23Speaker 1: all caught up on that.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, great season.
- 29:26Speaker 3: You know, I think that it's not fair for them
- 29:32Speaker 3: to have married couples and daughter either. Because if I
- 29:35Speaker 3: was doing those trenches and Robbie was there to console
- 29:38Speaker 3: me every night, I think I'd last a lot longer
- 29:40Speaker 3: than you.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Yeah, then I if you were not there, I had.
- 29:44Speaker 2: The same thought, and I thought they were going to
- 29:45Speaker 2: be separated into two groups. So I thought they were like, oh,
- 29:48Speaker 2: you get to be together, and then they were going
- 29:50Speaker 2: to separate them, and I thought that that could make
- 29:52Speaker 2: it even more challenging to know that there are they
- 29:55Speaker 2: still there. Did they go home?
- 29:57Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 29:57Speaker 2: I was shocked that they didn't do it that way
- 29:59Speaker 2: and they just left them be together.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Yeah, like you know what a kiss from my husband
- 30:04Speaker 1: can make me into wonder woman.
- 30:05Speaker 2: I don't know that Haley and I would make it
- 30:07Speaker 2: much further together than we would have part in terms
- 30:10Speaker 2: of incursion.
- 30:11Speaker 1: So with your partner like encouraging you every step of
- 30:14Speaker 1: the way.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, mentally emotional.
- 30:18Speaker 1: I don't know physically, but it's all mental.
- 30:20Speaker 2: It is a very mental, but it's also very physical. Yeah,
- 30:24Speaker 2: it's pretty physical.
- 30:26Speaker 1: I could not be doing that right now with my back.
- 30:28Speaker 2: I think for the next conversation that we're having on
- 30:31Speaker 2: this podcast, we try not to say any filler words
- 30:33Speaker 2: like what like like or or uh?
- 30:37Speaker 1: Why do we say that a lot?
- 30:38Speaker 2: A lot?
- 30:39Speaker 1: How do you know?
- 30:40Speaker 2: I just know that I do. Why don't are you
- 30:44Speaker 2: focused on it right now? No? Not at all at all. Okay, Well,
- 30:48Speaker 2: I wanted to definitely say I don't say either, but
- 30:51Speaker 2: I do say the L word a lot.
- 30:54Speaker 1: I say the L word a lot too.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Yeah. So I'm trying to break the habit, and I
- 30:58Speaker 2: was wondering if we would be able to do it.
- 31:00Speaker 1: I could do, no problem, Okay.
- 31:02Speaker 2: Easy peasy. Should we do from Jen a past, Bonnie
- 31:06Speaker 2: update and fun questions?
- 31:08Speaker 1: Sure, we're running a little bit out of time, but
- 31:10Speaker 1: whatever you want to do.
- 31:11Speaker 2: Let's do it. Wait? Did you watch the Brina Carpenter
- 31:13Speaker 2: on SNL?
- 31:14Speaker 1: Yes?
- 31:15Speaker 2: How about?
- 31:15Speaker 3: I mean I didn't watch the episode, but I watched
- 31:17Speaker 3: all the I think I watched all the highlights and
- 31:20Speaker 3: the clips, so I feel like I did.
- 31:22Speaker 2: How did it go?
- 31:23Speaker 1: Great?
- 31:24Speaker 2: Well? Because I felt like people thought she was going
- 31:26Speaker 2: to bring out Taylor?
- 31:27Speaker 3: Oh really, I didn't have that thought. Kelly a woman
- 31:30Speaker 3: not stand alone.
- 31:31Speaker 2: I mean, for Herd's sake, she definitely can. But I
- 31:34Speaker 2: think with their song coming out. They thought maybe she
- 31:36Speaker 2: would bring her out.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Yeah, well let the girl stand on her own two
- 31:42Speaker 1: feet and she is.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Yes. One thing about her she is Hello, is scrubbing in.
- 31:47Speaker 2: I've written in before, and I know you like updates.
- 31:49Speaker 2: This was about my boyfriend not pinning our new home
- 31:52Speaker 2: together on the gram. I remember this. Yeah, as you
- 31:55Speaker 2: guys advise, not a big deal. But also it was
- 31:58Speaker 2: important to me. If it was important to me, there
- 32:00Speaker 2: should be compromise. So I did a little talk and
- 32:02Speaker 2: he didn't realize how much it bothered me. So the
- 32:04Speaker 2: next day he didn't pin our house, but rather a
- 32:06Speaker 2: cute pick of me, him and his dog. It meant
- 32:08Speaker 2: a lot. So thank you for giving me the nudge
- 32:10Speaker 2: to have a chat and express my feelings. Also, I've
- 32:13Speaker 2: been loving the little way the podcast ends lately, so
- 32:16Speaker 2: I thought I would continue the trend. Sundays to me
- 32:19Speaker 2: are a reset date. If you could have the same
- 32:22Speaker 2: type of Sunday every week, what would you do from
- 32:24Speaker 2: the moment you wake up to the bedtime? Do you
- 32:29Speaker 2: want to start a Sunday? It would be sleeping late,
- 32:34Speaker 2: waking up and making a breakfast that included something salty
- 32:38Speaker 2: and sweet. So like So as though, something bodies transit.
- 32:45Speaker 1: We're doing it next week.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Something bake away, okay, cinnamon roll donut? Wait, do y'all
- 32:53Speaker 2: consider donut a dessert or breakfast food breakfast food too,
