- 0:08Speaker 2: Good evening and welcome to the Reader Paney Show. Coming
- 0:11Speaker 2: up tonight, we'll look at the inflationary pressure of Labour's
- 0:15Speaker 2: reckless spending, with the inflation rate jumping to four percent.
- 0:20Speaker 2: The ABC's Trump derangement syndrome exposed again with a car
- 0:25Speaker 2: crash interview with Republican Marjorie Taylor Green. Douglas Murray joins
- 0:30Speaker 2: me in just a moment and we'll be discussing everything
- 0:33Speaker 2: from the deadly anti Christian violence in Pakistan, to the
- 0:37Speaker 2: Victorian government embracing kill testing, to the downfall of the
- 0:42Speaker 2: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. And we'll look at Tucker
- 0:47Speaker 2: Carlson taking on an Australian journalist. It doesn't go too
- 0:52Speaker 2: well for the full ass.
- 0:54Speaker 3: You don't just go for the quick sugar fix of
- 0:57Speaker 3: importing new people like That's my position.
- 1:00Speaker 1: And if you think that's racist, that's your problem.
- 1:03Speaker 4: I never called you a racist, but of course you
- 1:05Speaker 4: but of course you are suggesting.
- 1:07Speaker 1: And I must say one of the reasons why people don't.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Like people like you in the media is that you
- 1:13Speaker 3: never say exactly what you mean, your slurs are all
- 1:16Speaker 3: by implication.
- 1:17Speaker 5: This is the same theory or as you say, idea
- 1:19Speaker 5: that has inspired the New York Buffalo shooting. Word.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Come on to what I mean, it's also inspired. It's not,
- 1:28Speaker 4: first of all, it's inspired the.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Worst, the one of the worst Australian time, just stupid
- 1:33Speaker 1: in the media. I guess it doesn't pay well. Look,
- 1:35Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 1:37Speaker 3: I've lived among people like you for too long and
- 1:39Speaker 3: I don't mean to I don't mean to call you,
- 1:41Speaker 3: call you stupid. Maybe you're just pretending to be.
- 1:44Speaker 2: And like joing the Alkinsy Schofield will be joining me
- 1:48Speaker 2: with the latest royal and celebrity news, plus the segment
- 1:52Speaker 2: that has millions of views each and every week. We
- 1:55Speaker 2: call it Left is Losing It, and tonight it includes
- 1:59Speaker 2: this fielded judge, yes, judge.
- 2:04Speaker 6: By pointing the finger at Republicans and saying it's their fault,
- 2:08Speaker 6: not the fault of the Biden administration that lifted the
- 2:11Speaker 6: remain in Mexico policies.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Joining me now is best selling author of groundbreaking works
- 2:18Speaker 2: including the Strange Death of Europe, The Madness of Crowds,
- 2:21Speaker 2: and The War on the West. Douglas Murray We will
- 2:25Speaker 2: get to Victoria's new pill testing policy and more permissive
- 2:29Speaker 2: attitude to illicit drugs shortly, but let's start in New York,
- 2:33Speaker 2: where the stench of marijuana is often lingering in the air.
- 2:36Speaker 2: And it's a New York sixteen district that the far
- 2:39Speaker 2: left suffered a blow. The squad is one member down
- 2:44Speaker 2: after Jamal Bowman lost his primary race by quite a margin.
- 2:50Speaker 2: This is despite AOC's best efforts over the weekend to
- 2:53Speaker 2: whip up support in the Bronx. And it didn't take
- 2:57Speaker 2: long for the New York Times to blame You guessed
- 3:00Speaker 2: that the Jews. It was a flood of pro Israel
- 3:04Speaker 2: money that did it. But after a backlash on Eggs
- 3:08Speaker 2: and questions from the New York Post, the Times did
- 3:10Speaker 2: alter its headline. But we should not be surprised, Douglas,
- 3:15Speaker 2: that the first instinct of the New York Times is
- 3:18Speaker 2: to blame Israel. Blame the Jews.
- 3:23Speaker 7: Yeah. I think that the reason why Jamal Bowman lost
- 3:26Speaker 7: was because he was a hideous representative his district. Seems
- 3:30Speaker 7: to think he should talk about foreign affairs in a
- 3:34Speaker 7: far off country about which he knows nothing, rather than
- 3:38Speaker 7: doing anything for the people of his district, and I
- 3:40Speaker 7: think another reason he lost was because of the sort
- 3:43Speaker 7: of scenes we're seeing there. Alexandri Okees Portes seemed to
- 3:49Speaker 7: think when she was trying to rally up the Bronx
- 3:51Speaker 7: so a really small number of people the other day
- 3:53Speaker 7: seemed to think she was some kind of Taylor Swift,
- 3:58Speaker 7: maybe bigger than Taylor Swift, jumping around the stage doing
- 4:02Speaker 7: these kind of embarrassing hand gestures. I'mdoing her hair, redoing it,
- 4:07Speaker 7: flipping it around, showing just how down with the kid
- 4:10Speaker 7: she is whilst talking about the importance of a ceasefire
- 4:15Speaker 7: in the Middle East. These people are in an embarrassment
- 4:19Speaker 7: to their districts, and they're an embarrassment to most New Yorkers.
- 4:23Speaker 7: Most New Yorkers, like other voters, want things close to
- 4:27Speaker 7: home to be addressed. Some of them have a care
- 4:29Speaker 7: about foreign policy, for sure, But congressmen and women that
- 4:35Speaker 7: they don't have any say it's not important. This isn't
- 4:37Speaker 7: their area, and they're mentor, as I say, improve the
- 4:40Speaker 7: living standards of their area. All you hear from people
- 4:42Speaker 7: like representing former Representative Bowmen and Alexandria Casa Cortez is
- 4:49Speaker 7: the sort of basic sort of soap box demagogery, complete
- 4:55Speaker 7: inability to do anything meaningful. When Jamal Bowman, when a
- 4:59Speaker 7: vote was going the wrong way, he decided to run
- 5:02Speaker 7: into the corridors and pull the fire alarm like some
- 5:07Speaker 7: crazy delinquent. And you know, maybe it's things like that
- 5:11Speaker 7: that actually meant that people voted him out. But of course,
- 5:15Speaker 7: you know, of course, of course, of course he thinks
- 5:16Speaker 7: it's the Jews.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Of course, always and talking about the issues that actually
- 5:24Speaker 2: matter to Americans. Were mere hours away from the much
- 5:27Speaker 2: awaited presidential debate, and the issues that matter most Americans
- 5:32Speaker 2: are legal immigration, We've got the cost of living crisis,
- 5:37Speaker 2: we've got crime. But I wonder, Douglas, is a debate
- 5:43Speaker 2: that's going to be moderated by two CNN hosts going
- 5:46Speaker 2: to focus on those issues or are they going to
- 5:52Speaker 2: provide questions that are more palatable to Joe Biden.
- 5:56Speaker 7: Well, you know, it's going to be an extraordinary debate
- 6:00Speaker 7: any standards. Several reasons. By the way, as far as
- 6:03Speaker 7: I know, this is the first time there has been
- 6:05Speaker 7: such a debate ahead of the party's conventions. So it's
- 6:10Speaker 7: actually it's especially risky in my view for Joe Biden,
- 6:14Speaker 7: who finds it hard to perform well on the easiest
- 6:19Speaker 7: of days. This is going to be a tough one
- 6:22Speaker 7: for him. I hope that if we learn anything from it,
- 6:28Speaker 7: we will actually get onto the substantive issues. There are
- 6:31Speaker 7: major disagreements between the candidates. Donald Trump obviously campaigned in
- 6:37Speaker 7: both his previous runs and is in this one on
- 6:40Speaker 7: the border crisis. Joe Biden has let the border crisis
- 6:43Speaker 7: in America just absolutely explode. Americans can see things like
- 6:48Speaker 7: that manifesting in their cities. They can see the results
- 6:53Speaker 7: of crime and massively liberalized drug laws in their cities.
- 6:57Speaker 7: I think one of the toughest ones read to look
- 6:59Speaker 7: out for is will the candidates be able to have
- 7:02Speaker 7: a substantial conversation about the cost of living crisis which
- 7:07Speaker 7: you just referred to, and the question of inflation, because inflation,
- 7:11Speaker 7: to my mind, is especially interesting one. It seems abstract
- 7:15Speaker 7: in a way, and it seems abstract when people, when
- 7:18Speaker 7: politicians discuss it. But it's not abstract because the rampant
- 7:22Speaker 7: inflation inflation recent years has meant that everybody's grocery bills,
- 7:28Speaker 7: you know, you get less, sometimes literally less than you
- 7:31Speaker 7: did a few years ago for the same product. The
- 7:33Speaker 7: product is much more expensive. Are either of the candidate's
- 7:36Speaker 7: going to be able to explain that one and say
- 7:39Speaker 7: what they will do to get that under control. I
- 7:41Speaker 7: think that's one of the things to look out for
- 7:43Speaker 7: in this debate, as well, of course as the basic
- 7:46Speaker 7: ones such as will Donald Trump allowed Joe Biden to speak?
- 7:50Speaker 7: And can Joe Biden speak? Those are the two other
- 7:54Speaker 7: things to look out for.
- 7:57Speaker 2: I think they're going to prep him to within an
- 8:00Speaker 2: interview his life. I think we're going to see Joe
- 8:02Speaker 2: Biden that's more lucid and sharp than we have seen
- 8:06Speaker 2: him for some time. He seems to get himself up
- 8:09Speaker 2: for some of these big events like the State of
- 8:11Speaker 2: the Union. And there's been suggestions made that perhaps there
- 8:14Speaker 2: should be some drug testing before this debate. I think
- 8:17Speaker 2: there was a poll done showing seventy percent of Americans
- 8:21Speaker 2: actually want the candidates to undergo a drug test before
- 8:24Speaker 2: the debate. So that's where we're at. That's where we're at.
- 8:28Speaker 2: And it's been a while since we talked about Canadian
- 8:31Speaker 2: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the neo Marxist ken Dollars I
- 8:34Speaker 2: call him. He's in some serious trouble Douglas. This week,
- 8:39Speaker 2: his party lost a by election in one of the
- 8:42Speaker 2: safest Liberal seats in the country in Toronto Saint Paul,
- 8:46Speaker 2: and Trudeau's minority government is badly trailing the Conservatives in
- 8:53Speaker 2: the polls. Is this the end for Trudeau? Douglas? Have
- 8:56Speaker 2: the Canadian people finally woke it up to the performative
- 9:01Speaker 2: caring that lacks any real substance.
- 9:06Speaker 7: You absolutely put your finger on rita performative caring. That's
- 9:09Speaker 7: all that Justin Trudeau does. It's very hard to find
- 9:14Speaker 7: a true thing he's ever said, or a sincere thing
- 9:18Speaker 7: he's ever said. The man is entirely artifice. He's an
- 9:22Speaker 7: utter bimbo. A phrase that maybe one would use a
- 9:26Speaker 7: female politician these days, but I'm happy to use of
- 9:29Speaker 7: Justin Trudeau. There's he's so good a himbo, he's a himbo.
- 9:35Speaker 7: I suppose I was in Canada last week in a
- 9:39Speaker 7: couple of cities, and I can't tell you, Rita the
- 9:43Speaker 7: detestation that you find for Trudeau across the political board.
- 9:48Speaker 7: A vast majority of Canadians want him to stand down.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Now.
- 9:54Speaker 7: He has really impressive opposition.
- 9:58Speaker 8: Now.
- 9:59Speaker 7: I think that Pierre Polievra and the others decide that
- 10:04Speaker 7: are coming along. They are very impressive. People are now
- 10:07Speaker 7: facing off against Trudeau. I think he's absolutely toasts because finally,
- 10:13Speaker 7: you know, we got to that stage where being a
- 10:15Speaker 7: sort of superannuated drama teacher turns out you can fool
- 10:19Speaker 7: some people for a little while, but not for all
- 10:21Speaker 7: that long. Everyone in Canada who wants to see through
- 10:26Speaker 7: Justin Trudeau has seen through him. I don't think anyone
- 10:30Speaker 7: will regret finally seeing the back of him.
- 10:35Speaker 2: He was the biggest media doling in the world there
- 10:39Speaker 2: for quite some time, though. Douglass he had a very
- 10:41Speaker 2: long honeymoon. Indeed, him and j justinto ar Dern where
- 10:45Speaker 2: and you beautifully described them with that tag of performative caring,
- 10:50Speaker 2: because that's what it was. It was all style, no substance.
- 10:53Speaker 2: You look at the policies they instituted. They weren't helping people,
- 10:57Speaker 2: but they were fated as these new age leaders who
- 11:01Speaker 2: were full of compassion and empathy. But yes, not much
- 11:06Speaker 2: of that.
- 11:08Speaker 7: It's interesting greed, isn't it, And people should be aware
- 11:11Speaker 7: of this. The amount you can get away with that
- 11:14Speaker 7: is cruel and sometimes evil if you wrap it up
- 11:18Speaker 7: in this particular style. Of politics. As long as you
- 11:21Speaker 7: as long as you come across all lovey and sort
- 11:24Speaker 7: of you know, silken head, whether it's Arden or Trudeau,
- 11:28Speaker 7: you can do the most vicious things to your public.
- 11:31Speaker 7: And wow did they do it?
- 11:35Speaker 2: Oh they did. And during COVID, yeah, we discussed that
- 11:39Speaker 2: at length. And now I want to go to the UK.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Actor David Tenanty was doctor who want Apparently he won
- 11:46Speaker 2: a celebrity ally award at the British LGBT Awards. I
- 11:51Speaker 2: don't know there was a British LGBT Awards, but here
- 11:54Speaker 2: we go, and during his acceptance speech, she decided to
- 11:58Speaker 2: attack the only black fees in government by saying he
- 12:02Speaker 2: wished Kemmy Badenoch would shut up and no longer exist.
- 12:08Speaker 9: However, until we wake up and Kemmy Badenock doesn't exist anymore,
- 12:19Speaker 9: I don't wish ell of her. I just wish her
- 12:21Speaker 9: to shut up.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Douglas even kiss Dama has sought to distance himself from
- 12:28Speaker 2: that ugly misogyny. But David Tennant has plenty of fans
- 12:33Speaker 2: in the media, plenty more among the celebrity and activist class.
- 12:38Speaker 2: What do you make of that entire saga?
- 12:42Speaker 7: You know, this is the absolute death of this so
- 12:46Speaker 7: called LGBT movement. There was a gay rights movement. It
- 12:50Speaker 7: did a lot of good work, and it's basically done.
- 12:53Speaker 7: But there are these weird people who keep on extending
- 12:57Speaker 7: the alphabet and trying to keep themselves in work and
- 13:01Speaker 7: setting up crocker wards ceremonies. I never heard of this thing,
- 13:05Speaker 7: the LGBT awards. Look at that ugly monstrosity he was
- 13:08Speaker 7: holding in his hands, this LGBT thing. Who the hell
- 13:12Speaker 7: gives these wards away? Who's the big gay board that
- 13:16Speaker 7: convenes and decides that the straight David Tennant should be
- 13:19Speaker 7: given an LGBT Award because of his advocacy of mutilating children.
- 13:25Speaker 7: I mean, the whole thing's preposterous. Of course, it's sponsored
- 13:30Speaker 7: by all of the sort of you know, Tesco and
- 13:33Speaker 7: various other supermarkets and banks and all the high street
- 13:37Speaker 7: chains that are meant to just actually you know, provide
- 13:40Speaker 7: their services and in actual fact gets sort of blackmailed
- 13:44Speaker 7: into sponsoring things like this clownish ceremony that David Tennant
- 13:48Speaker 7: was speaking at. But this is the end point of
- 13:51Speaker 7: the lgbtqia plus stupidity is an actor who thinks he's
- 13:59Speaker 7: right off and loving and kindness and all just about
- 14:05Speaker 7: that saying whilst he accepts an honorary Gay Award for
- 14:11Speaker 7: advocating a gender transformation of confused children, calling for a
- 14:17Speaker 7: black woman to shut up or disappear, And it's another one,
- 14:22Speaker 7: like the performative caring reader. It's another one, just like that.
- 14:26Speaker 7: It turns out that under the guise of so called pride,
- 14:30Speaker 7: under the guise of so called pride, people like David
- 14:33Speaker 7: Tennant feel they can be as prejudiced as they want.
- 14:39Speaker 2: And he talked during that acceptance speech at length about
- 14:43Speaker 2: empathy and decency and getting the wise counsel of his
- 14:49Speaker 2: wife and forming these positions that are just common sense.
- 14:53Speaker 2: And you listen to that entire speech you gave Douglas,
- 14:58Speaker 2: and it is so divorced from reality, because at the
- 15:01Speaker 2: heart of it, one of the things that he advocates
- 15:03Speaker 2: for is the medical intervention for confused children. So we're
- 15:09Speaker 2: talking about irreversible treatments sometimes and surgeries which even the
- 15:17Speaker 2: NHS has now said they're not going to participate in.
- 15:20Speaker 2: And yet we've still got the activist class pushing this
- 15:24Speaker 2: as if it's the only progressive way forward.
- 15:27Speaker 7: Absolutely, and listen Rita and everyone watching. Listen again to
- 15:33Speaker 7: the audience reaction when this straight bigot who is hiding
- 15:39Speaker 7: behind medicalizing and sterilizing children as his reason for being
- 15:44Speaker 7: pined and nice. Listen to the audience reaction as he
- 15:46Speaker 7: engages in that. They all whoop and cheer, They love it.
- 15:51Speaker 7: To hell with these people, to hell with them. Anyone
- 15:56Speaker 7: who stands up and says, you know, maybe we should
- 16:00Speaker 7: pores before chopping off the private parts of healthy kids.
- 16:05Speaker 7: Anyone who says maybe we should pause before that isn't
- 16:09Speaker 7: a bigot, shouldn't shut up. They should speak up more.
- 16:12Speaker 7: It's David Tennant and that audience that are the bigots,
- 16:15Speaker 7: and history will judge them incredibly badly. I can tell
- 16:19Speaker 7: you one reason why I'll be one of the ones
- 16:21Speaker 7: that will write their history.
- 16:26Speaker 2: That is good to hear. Now, the state of Victoria
- 16:29Speaker 2: where we are is about to introduce pill testing. This
- 16:32Speaker 2: is a policy that has been trialed elsewhere. As illicit
- 16:36Speaker 2: drugs become decriminalized in some jurisdictions around the world, and
- 16:40Speaker 2: there is at least a more permissive attitude here and
- 16:44Speaker 2: elsewhere to drugs. You've researched this extensively, You've shot a
- 16:49Speaker 2: documentary on America's drug crisis. Is Victoria doing the right
- 16:54Speaker 2: thing by testing pills at places like music festivals or
- 16:59Speaker 2: can that be a slippery right to what we've sayen
- 17:03Speaker 2: in parts of the US now where this issue is
- 17:07Speaker 2: just out of control.
- 17:09Speaker 7: It's a really tricky one, rita, because there are arguments
- 17:14Speaker 7: for both sides. There's an argument to say that if
- 17:17Speaker 7: the illegal drug supply has been contaminated with extremely dangerous,
- 17:22Speaker 7: even more dangerous drugs than the drugs in question, If
- 17:27Speaker 7: the drug supply has been contaminated, perhaps you should do
- 17:30Speaker 7: whatever you can to make sure that there is what
- 17:33Speaker 7: is called safe supply. On the other hand, there's absolutely
- 17:37Speaker 7: no doubt that when you do this, you definitely give
- 17:41Speaker 7: an incentive to people to say, well, I've tested that
- 17:44Speaker 7: the drugs and there and there as it were safe.
- 17:47Speaker 7: This is really really dangerous territory. I actually I'm very
- 17:53Speaker 7: very torn about this. As I say in my documentary,
- 17:57Speaker 7: I do believe that that just say, no thing has
- 18:01Speaker 7: fallen apart. And one of the reasons it's fallen apart
- 18:04Speaker 7: is because a lot of the boomer generation doesn't realize
- 18:07Speaker 7: when they talk about safe supply and so on, when
- 18:09Speaker 7: they talk about testing, we are talking about a strength
- 18:14Speaker 7: of illegal drug these days, far far beyond the you know,
- 18:20Speaker 7: toke of marijuana that they did in the nineteen sixties
- 18:23Speaker 7: or seventies. Even the marijuana supply in every country is
- 18:29Speaker 7: vastly stronger than it was some years ago. So I
- 18:33Speaker 7: really think that there is a deep misunderstanding and intergenerational
- 18:37Speaker 7: misunderstanding about what's going on here. I think in the
- 18:41Speaker 7: on the one hand, you say, look, we want as
- 18:43Speaker 7: few drug fatalities as possible at a music festival or
- 18:47Speaker 7: anywhere else. But also to say, you know, that doesn't
- 18:52Speaker 7: mean this is safe. It's not and it's never going
- 18:56Speaker 7: to be.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Well, there's this theory that this will reduce drug use,
- 19:05Speaker 2: and I don't know how that conclusion can be made
- 19:09Speaker 2: by politicians.
- 19:10Speaker 7: Well, absolutely, don't do no, no, it doesn't ever do absolutely.
- 19:15Speaker 7: I think encourage it.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Well, I just wish that would be honest about that.
- 19:21Speaker 2: I'd say this will save lives, but it may lead
- 19:24Speaker 2: to increased drug use, But they always try to actually
- 19:29Speaker 2: hide what is happening. Now, before you go, this is
- 19:32Speaker 2: a shocking story out of Pakistan. I'm not going to
- 19:35Speaker 2: show the footage. It is just too terrible. We have
- 19:39Speaker 2: a mob of enraged Pakistanis who lynched and burnt a
- 19:44Speaker 2: tourist who was accused of blasphemy. This happened last week.
- 19:49Speaker 2: The man was being held at a police station in
- 19:51Speaker 2: the country's northwest after he was accused of desecrating a
- 19:55Speaker 2: copy of the Qoran in his hotel room. But the
- 19:58Speaker 2: police couldn't or wouldn't protect him, and the mob dragged
- 20:03Speaker 2: him away and brutally murdered him. Douglas, this isn't an
- 20:06Speaker 2: isolated case. Christians are not safe in Pakistan. Just the
- 20:12Speaker 2: mere mention of blasphemy can land you in jail or worse,
- 20:17Speaker 2: lynched by an enraged Islamist mob.
- 20:21Speaker 7: Absolutely, and keep a close eye in the coming days
- 20:25Speaker 7: on what leaders in Pakistan, both religious and political, say
- 20:31Speaker 7: about this incident and whether the police arrests any or
- 20:35Speaker 7: all of the people engaged in it. I bet you
- 20:38Speaker 7: you'll see a stunning silence, and people should remember this.
- 20:42Speaker 7: In countries like Australia, Britain, America, Canada, we take freedom
- 20:46Speaker 7: of belief, freedom of expression for granted. In fact, so
- 20:50Speaker 7: much for granted that many people in our society aren't
- 20:53Speaker 7: even willing to fight for it. Meanwhile, in a country
- 20:56Speaker 7: like Pakistan, which has got so many disastrous problems and
- 21:01Speaker 7: is such an unstable country and is doing so many
- 21:05Speaker 7: atrocious things in the realm of human rights, just look
- 21:09Speaker 7: at how in a place like that, as you say, reader,
- 21:11Speaker 7: a mob can be inflamed to murder any moment for
- 21:16Speaker 7: stupid things like a rumor that somebody's molested a book.
- 21:21Speaker 7: I mean, the whole thing is so tragic and preposterous
- 21:26Speaker 7: and saver be a reminder to us how lucky we
- 21:28Speaker 7: are in our own countries in the West. But the
- 21:31Speaker 7: fact that it's not luck. It's because people stand up
- 21:34Speaker 7: and fight for these freedoms and for these rights, and
- 21:37Speaker 7: if you don't, you'll lose them. And there's every possibility
- 21:40Speaker 7: that in the years ahead, countries like ours can revert
- 21:43Speaker 7: back to the situation that Pakistan is in today. And
- 21:47Speaker 7: I hope very much that they don't, but it should
- 21:49Speaker 7: be a warning to us in the West.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Oh absolutely. And I said it's not isolated. There was
- 21:56Speaker 2: a Christian just a couple of weeks ago who again
- 21:59Speaker 2: was a used of blasphemy, whether there even were guilty
- 22:02Speaker 2: of it. They were murdered. A Christian community was attacked
- 22:08Speaker 2: last month over similar allegations, and Pakistan carries the death
- 22:13Speaker 2: penalty for blasphemy. So yes, if the enraged mob don't
- 22:18Speaker 2: get you, the authorities might.
- 22:20Speaker 7: And absolutely just and just one other thing on that,
- 22:24Speaker 7: just people should remember how how incredibly fragile does your
- 22:28Speaker 7: so called belief system or religion have to be. How fragile,
- 22:33Speaker 7: how delicate, how dainty that one person rumored to touch
- 22:39Speaker 7: up a book in the wrong way is some kind
- 22:42Speaker 7: of outrage which will lead you to murder. Anyone who
- 22:47Speaker 7: thinks that there's some kind of compromise with people who
- 22:50Speaker 7: believe that, or think that or follow that should just
- 22:53Speaker 7: think about that for a while. As you say, reader,
- 22:56Speaker 7: this is not just a public that believes this. It's
- 23:01Speaker 7: a political class that advocates it as well, and a
- 23:04Speaker 7: clerical class that does as well. And I do wish
- 23:07Speaker 7: that all those human rights, the people who talk about
- 23:11Speaker 7: human rights in the West cared a damn whatever, spoke
- 23:15Speaker 7: up for the rights of a Christian or anyone else,
- 23:18Speaker 7: not to have false rumors flung around them and then
- 23:21Speaker 7: to be murdered by a mad Islamic mob.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Well, because this murder was filmed by so many, there
- 23:29Speaker 2: were dozens of mobile phones out. The police have made
- 23:34Speaker 2: some arrase will follow through and see if there's actually
- 23:37Speaker 2: prosecutions or any actions there. But I've covered and written
- 23:42Speaker 2: about this for some time, and we've got to open
- 23:45Speaker 2: our eyes to what's happening. And I think there's just
- 23:48Speaker 2: so much ignorance and naivety in the West. Douglas Murray,
- 23:55Speaker 2: thank you so much for your time this evening.
- 23:57Speaker 7: It's a great pleasure, as always, Thank you.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Stell to come. Lefty's are losing it and the ABC's
- 24:04Speaker 2: felled gotcha moment with Republican Marjorie Taylor Green. Welcome back.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Now it's time for Lefty's Losing it. And here is
- 24:22Speaker 2: Harris County judge and an incoherent lefting losing it. Her
- 24:27Speaker 2: name is Lena Hidalgo, and here she demands that no
- 24:31Speaker 2: one politicizes the murder of a twelve year old Texan
- 24:35Speaker 2: child allegedly tortured and murdered by illegal immigrants. And she
- 24:40Speaker 2: makes this demand while blaming Donald Trump for Biden's border crisis. Astonishing.
- 24:47Speaker 10: It hurts even more that they're being used as pawns
- 24:51Speaker 10: in this fate over immigration that doesn't even exist. Because
- 24:56Speaker 10: Laden and McConnell agree, it's just that Trump won lot
- 24:58Speaker 10: of it forward all.
- 25:01Speaker 6: Due respect, Juds, you said this issue shouldn't be politicized,
- 25:04Speaker 6: But by pointing the finger at former President Trump and
- 25:07Speaker 6: Republicans in Congress, aren't you politicizing it?
- 25:13Speaker 10: I think I answered that. I think I answered the questions,
- 25:16Speaker 10: so yeah, I mean it's this is about Jocelyn. This
- 25:20Speaker 10: is about her family and if we want to talk
- 25:26Speaker 10: about immigration.
- 25:27Speaker 6: Didn't answer the question, are you politicizing this by pointing
- 25:32Speaker 6: the finger at Republicans and saying it's their fault, not
- 25:35Speaker 6: the fault of the Biden administration that lifted the remain
- 25:38Speaker 6: in Mexico policies.
- 25:41Speaker 10: Again, the Biden administration reached an agreement with Leader McConnell
- 25:45Speaker 10: to address this. But this is not about immigration. I'm
- 25:47Speaker 10: not going to feed into that.
- 25:52Speaker 2: That woman who can barely string a sentence together without
- 25:55Speaker 2: contradicting herself and looking like a confused simpleton, is the
- 25:59Speaker 2: head of the governing body that oversees Harris County with
- 26:03Speaker 2: a budget of over four billion. Now to a mother
- 26:08Speaker 2: who claims to be a victim of left is losing
- 26:10Speaker 2: it on United Airline. She was left stranded in San
- 26:13Speaker 2: Francisco with her sixteen month old because she apparently misgendered
- 26:18Speaker 2: a non binary flight attendant.
- 26:21Speaker 11: Okay, so we were denied boarding myself, my sixteen month
- 26:26Speaker 11: old son, my mother. They took her luggage on the plane,
- 26:29Speaker 11: which has my thiraid medication, which I'll be very sick
- 26:33Speaker 11: without my mother's medication. They basically said.
- 26:36Speaker 12: Tough luck.
- 26:37Speaker 11: And they won't tell me exactly what I said, but
- 26:40Speaker 11: what happened, And I will tell you what happened right now.
- 26:42Speaker 11: I was speaking to one of the flight attendants and
- 26:44Speaker 11: got their pronouns wrong. The other flight attendant didn't like it.
- 26:47Speaker 11: I said, I'm really sorry. They I am not very
- 26:50Speaker 11: versed with pronouns. I was holding my son. He was
- 26:53Speaker 11: having a temper tantrum. I had the car seat on
- 26:55Speaker 11: my back. I wasn't really focusing on anything except getting
- 26:58Speaker 11: my son's car seat on the flight and get him
- 27:00Speaker 11: comfortable and safe and him because now it's his naptime.
- 27:03Speaker 11: You can see he's kind of fallen asleep. They're saying
- 27:06Speaker 11: that I it's a hate crime that I did that
- 27:08Speaker 11: I might not even be able to ever fly United.
- 27:10Speaker 11: We don't even know how we're going to get back today.
- 27:13Speaker 2: Now this is exciting, folks. Only happens about once a decade,
- 27:17Speaker 2: but we've got footage of John Stewart actually being funny.
- 27:22Speaker 2: He's at his best when he challenges the dominant media orthodoxy,
- 27:26Speaker 2: and that's precisely what he did here, taking on lefties
- 27:30Speaker 2: losing it in the mainstream media over a disturbing image
- 27:33Speaker 2: that is too violent and dehumanizing to show on television.
- 27:39Speaker 8: In our editorial discussions this morning, we were asked not
- 27:41Speaker 8: to show the image from this video because of its
- 27:44Speaker 8: violent and disturbing nature.
- 27:46Speaker 4: Video which we are intentionally choosing not to show you.
- 27:49Speaker 11: We're not going to show because of how disturbing it is.
- 27:52Speaker 2: I was extremely disturbed to see.
- 27:54Speaker 1: This horrible, horrible, violent imagery.
- 27:57Speaker 4: Violent and dehumanizing imagery.
- 27:59Speaker 1: We're only going to show you a clip of this briefly.
- 28:01Speaker 7: All right, that's enough, let's take it down.
- 28:07Speaker 1: I didn't get to see it at all.
- 28:11Speaker 13: There's got to be devastating. News channels show images from Ukraine,
- 28:16Speaker 13: from Gaza, from natural disasters. They get through them dispassionately.
- 28:21Speaker 13: I can't imagine how devastating this footage must be.
- 28:25Speaker 4: Former President Donald Trump shared a video this one on
- 28:28Speaker 4: his truth social account featuring an image of President Joe
- 28:32Speaker 4: Biden hogtide.
- 28:33Speaker 7: On the back of a pickup truck.
- 28:52Speaker 13: That's what was so disturbing and dehumanizing. You wouldn't show
- 28:57Speaker 13: it on television and brushed Biden detatt on the back
- 29:02Speaker 13: of a truck. Are you the same networks that show
- 29:05Speaker 13: reruns of nine to eleven every year?
- 29:09Speaker 12: Yep.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Just earlier this month, much of the meter in the
- 29:12Speaker 2: US had an absolute meltdown about an obviously doctored image
- 29:16Speaker 2: and meme basically on the back of a pickup truck.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Can't imagine why people have lost trust in the media.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Even John Stewart has lost faith.
- 29:25Speaker 4: It's a doctored image, but it's plastered on the tailgate
- 29:28Speaker 4: of the pickup truck, so if you're driving behind it,
- 29:31Speaker 4: it would appear as if Joe Biden were actually restrained
- 29:34Speaker 4: on the vehicle's flat bag.
- 29:47Speaker 13: If you think that's really Joe Biden tied up on
- 29:52Speaker 13: the back of the pickup truck, I don't know that
- 29:55Speaker 13: you have the mental acuity to be operating a motor vehicle.
- 30:00Speaker 2: Let's, with the help of AI, look at how CNN
- 30:03Speaker 2: would love to conduct the presidential debate.
- 30:07Speaker 14: I'd like to set the ground rules to this debate.
- 30:10Speaker 14: First off, Biden is allowed to speak whenever he wishes.
- 30:14Speaker 14: We will have commercial breaks whenever Biden feels the urge
- 30:16Speaker 14: so that his needs can be taken care of. This
- 30:21Speaker 14: may or may not include naps, energy boosts, or a
- 30:24Speaker 14: snack such as ice cream. On the other hand, Trump
- 30:28Speaker 14: is not allowed to speak unless spoken to, and if
- 30:30Speaker 14: he interrupts Joe speaking, We're automatically going to deduct ten
- 30:33Speaker 14: points from Trump and Door. As the hall moderator of
- 30:36Speaker 14: this debate, I can call it off at any moment
- 30:38Speaker 14: and declare it a complete victory for Biden. Where did
- 30:42Speaker 14: Trump go?
- 30:43Speaker 5: He was just here?
- 30:49Speaker 2: He still take over. Now we have plenty more lifties
- 30:55Speaker 2: losing it content with my next guest, Guy News contributor
- 30:58Speaker 2: Kosher geta Kosher. The ABC, which has swallowed every bit
- 31:03Speaker 2: of anti Trump disinformation, including for years pushing the thoroughly
- 31:08Speaker 2: debunked Russian collusion hoax, They've shown they are slow learners.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Here is seven thirty Report host Sarrah Ferguson with Republican
- 31:16Speaker 2: Marjorie Taylor Green, who was invited on the program to
- 31:20Speaker 2: talk about Julian Assange's return to Australia. But then this happened.
- 31:25Speaker 15: You've never accepted the results of the twenty twenty presidential election. Indeed,
- 31:29Speaker 15: you've lionized people for.
- 31:32Speaker 16: Sarah Sarah, aren't we talking about Julian Assange? Sarah?
- 31:36Speaker 2: Are you?
- 31:36Speaker 16: Are you, even as Sirius, are even a serious interviewer?
- 31:40Speaker 17: I thought we're.
- 31:40Speaker 16: Talking about Julian assigned here today. That's what you were
- 31:44Speaker 16: asking me to come on to your Australian news show.
- 31:47Speaker 16: I don't usually do interviews like this because people like
- 31:50Speaker 16: you can't be taken seriously.
- 31:52Speaker 15: So you've lionized people in prison for their role in
- 31:55Speaker 15: attacking the Capitol on January sixth, including visiting them in prison.
- 31:59Speaker 15: This is my question, and what will Donald Trump's MAGA
- 32:02Speaker 15: supporters do if he loses the election?
- 32:06Speaker 16: So what does this have to do with Julian Assange? Again, Sarah,
- 32:10Speaker 16: I think that was the purpose of our interview here.
- 32:12Speaker 16: Let me tell you something that you don't quite understand.
- 32:15Speaker 16: In twenty twenty America, watch riot day in and day
- 32:19Speaker 16: out with BLM riots that caused over two billion dollars
- 32:23Speaker 16: in our in our communities and cities across the country. Sarah,
- 32:27Speaker 16: what the Australian people know that probably don't like your
- 32:31Speaker 16: show very much, but they do understand the truth is
- 32:34Speaker 16: that in America day today, we have a two tier
- 32:37Speaker 16: justice system and the Justice Department, the DOJ, targets their
- 32:41Speaker 16: political enemies and President Trump is the very top of that.
- 32:45Speaker 16: And people that protested the election on January sixth are
- 32:49Speaker 16: also the target of it. And what you probably don't
- 32:52Speaker 16: tell your viewers is that many of these people that
- 32:54Speaker 16: are being arrested and put in jail simply walked into
- 32:58Speaker 16: the Capitol building through open doors and videoed and took
- 33:02Speaker 16: pictures of the inside of the Capitol and then they
- 33:04Speaker 16: walked out through doors. And that's I'm sure not the
- 33:08Speaker 16: images that you show on your network in Australia.
- 33:13Speaker 2: And it went on from there. And before I get
- 33:16Speaker 2: your thoughts, Kosher, let's not forget that Sarah Ferguson did
- 33:19Speaker 2: a three parts series on the Russian collusion hoax, only
- 33:24Speaker 2: you didn't call it a hoax, and that series was
- 33:27Speaker 2: at our taxpayer's expense.
- 33:30Speaker 18: Hello, and welcome to four Corners. Tonight we begin our
- 33:33Speaker 18: special three part investigation into the story of the century,
- 33:37Speaker 18: the election of US President Donald Trump and his ties
- 33:41Speaker 18: to Russia. Since his inauguration, President Trump has been caught
- 33:45Speaker 18: up in a rolling series of allegations.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Did the ABC ever correct the record there? I wander Kosher,
- 33:52Speaker 2: what did you make of that interview and the ABC's
- 33:56Speaker 2: ongoing Trump Derangement syndrome. Billion dollars plus a year they
- 34:02Speaker 2: received to give us impartial, unbiased reporting, and it's just
- 34:07Speaker 2: activist journalism, h and every.
- 34:10Speaker 12: Day Frump derangement syndrome is global, clearly no snow borders.
- 34:16Speaker 12: I think at this point is airborne. I would say
- 34:18Speaker 12: she clearly has an agenda. I think, you know, the
- 34:21Speaker 12: Botcher interview style is the currency of modern day journalism
- 34:25Speaker 12: in many parts, and that's what she was clearly trying
- 34:27Speaker 12: to do with the MTG Marjorie Taylor Green and congresswoman.
- 34:31Speaker 12: And I think maybe what she's not so used to,
- 34:34Speaker 12: because it does happen in Australia, but from my observation
- 34:37Speaker 12: less so than it does back home in the US,
- 34:40Speaker 12: is this adversarial interview style. And people who are fire
- 34:43Speaker 12: breathing Republicans or you know, MAGA supporters as they're called,
- 34:47Speaker 12: like MTG, are very used to being in those adversarial
- 34:50Speaker 12: environments with reporters, and she has sparred with people far
- 34:53Speaker 12: more hotthroat, I would say, than Sarah Ferguson over here,
- 34:57Speaker 12: and so that was something that was interesting for me
- 34:58Speaker 12: to watch where she was MTG was kind of giving
- 35:01Speaker 12: it back to Sarah Ferguson as good as she was
- 35:03Speaker 12: getting it, if not better. I will give Sarah Ferguson
- 35:06Speaker 12: a little bit credit for inviting MTG in the first place,
- 35:10Speaker 12: because I do think that a lot of the Australian
- 35:12Speaker 12: public and certainly ABC viewers, are getting very limited exposure
- 35:16Speaker 12: to the true complexity of these issues, which is the
- 35:18Speaker 12: twenty twenty election and the Russia situation, the Russia hoax
- 35:22Speaker 12: and all of that, and so by bringing people like
- 35:24Speaker 12: this on, at least she was getting a little bit
- 35:27Speaker 12: of cut through the guest in providing a little bit
- 35:30Speaker 12: of that perspective to the audience. And in closing, I
- 35:32Speaker 12: would just say that seventy percent of Republicans don't trust
- 35:35Speaker 12: that the twenty twenty election was fair, forty percent of
- 35:37Speaker 12: all Americans don't touch so this is a real issue,
- 35:40Speaker 12: and to the extent of that point came out of
- 35:42Speaker 12: this interview, I think that was a net positive.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Well. I can tell you. I was in New York
- 35:49Speaker 2: twenty twenty and it wasn't just New York, but blue
- 35:53Speaker 2: cities across the US had the shop windows boarded up,
- 35:58Speaker 2: and they went worried about MAGA Republicans writing they were
- 36:02Speaker 2: worried about what was going to happen if Trump actually won,
- 36:06Speaker 2: and the left had an absolute meltdown. But Tucker Carlson,
- 36:10Speaker 2: who's here right now, there was a reporter who tried
- 36:14Speaker 2: a gotcha question with him and she was comprehensively embarrassed
- 36:20Speaker 2: by the former Fox News host.
- 36:23Speaker 5: In the past, you've talked about how white Australians, Americans,
- 36:27Speaker 5: Europeans are being replaced by non white immigrants in what
- 36:30Speaker 5: is often referred to as the Great Replacement theory.
- 36:33Speaker 1: This is the same. Have I said that waits are
- 36:36Speaker 1: being replaced? Well, I don't think I said that.
- 36:39Speaker 2: Well, it's been mentioned on your show four thousand times, and.
- 36:42Speaker 1: Really when did I say that? On your said wights
- 36:45Speaker 1: for being replaced?
- 36:46Speaker 2: You have said that before?
- 36:47Speaker 3: Only Yeah, I would challenge you to say that, because
- 36:50Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure I haven't said that.
- 36:52Speaker 1: I said need. I said Needive born Americans have are
- 36:54Speaker 1: being replaced, including blacks, native born Americans.
- 36:56Speaker 3: Native born Americans, Americans who like black Americans, have been
- 37:00Speaker 3: and African Americans have been in the United States for
- 37:02Speaker 3: in many cases their families over four hundred years, and
- 37:04Speaker 3: their concerns are every bit is real and valid and
- 37:07Speaker 3: alive to me as the concerns of white people whose
- 37:09Speaker 3: families have been their four hundred years. So I've never
- 37:11Speaker 3: said that whites are being replaced, not one time.
- 37:14Speaker 1: And you can't cite it. We just met. But when
- 37:18Speaker 1: our relationship starts with a lie, it makes it tough
- 37:21Speaker 1: to be friends. So let's I'm happy to explain what
- 37:24Speaker 1: I do think.
- 37:26Speaker 3: You actually can't say it because I didn't say it
- 37:27Speaker 3: and I don't believe it, and I'm telling you that
- 37:29Speaker 3: to your face, So I want you just accept me
- 37:30Speaker 3: at face value. My concern is that the people who
- 37:33Speaker 3: are born in the country are the main responsibility of
- 37:35Speaker 3: its leaders, and as noted earlier, when those leaders shift
- 37:39Speaker 3: their concern from the people whose responsibility is to take
- 37:42Speaker 3: care of to people around the world, to put their
- 37:44Speaker 3: priorities above that of their own citizens, that's immoral, and
- 37:48Speaker 3: they are being replaced in my country.
- 37:49Speaker 1: People were born in the United States, and the birth
- 37:51Speaker 1: rate tells the whole story.
- 37:53Speaker 3: They're not at replacement rate, and so the US population
- 37:56Speaker 3: is growing because we're importing people from other countries.
- 37:58Speaker 1: And my view is that people have children and a functioning.
- 38:02Speaker 3: Economy allows them to do that, and we don't have that,
- 38:05Speaker 3: and so you need to fix the economy and fix
- 38:08Speaker 3: the culture and make it so that people who want
- 38:09Speaker 3: to have kids can You don't just go for the
- 38:12Speaker 3: quick sugar fix of importing new people like That's my position.
- 38:16Speaker 1: And if you think that's racist, that's your problem.
- 38:19Speaker 4: I never called you a racist, but of course you
- 38:22Speaker 4: but of course you are suggesting.
- 38:24Speaker 3: And I must say, one of the reasons why people
- 38:26Speaker 3: don't like people like you in the media is that
- 38:29Speaker 3: you never say exactly what you mean.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Your slurs are all by implication.
- 38:33Speaker 3: And you're about to tell me the great replacement theory
- 38:35Speaker 3: is racist or antitionmotic whatever. The whole point of your
- 38:37Speaker 3: question was to be like, you're a scary racist.
- 38:40Speaker 1: And my response is no, I'm not. Okay, well, how
- 38:42Speaker 1: about no more lying in your questions and then I'll
- 38:44Speaker 1: answer it.
- 38:44Speaker 5: Okay, Well, this is the same theory or as you say,
- 38:50Speaker 5: idea that has inspired the New York Buffalo shooting where.
- 38:55Speaker 1: You know what I mean, it's.
- 38:58Speaker 4: Not First of all, it's inspired the way it's the
- 39:01Speaker 4: one of the worst Australian guy time, just.
- 39:03Speaker 1: Stupid in the media. I guess it doesn't pay well. Look,
- 39:06Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I've lived.
- 39:08Speaker 3: Among people like you for too long and I don't
- 39:10Speaker 3: mean I don't mean to call you, call you stupid.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Maybe you're just pretending to be.
- 39:13Speaker 2: But oh, dear Kosha, if you're going to show up
- 39:19Speaker 2: and make outrageous claims and try to connect Tucker Carlson
- 39:23Speaker 2: to mass killers, then I don't know, perhaps go to
- 39:26Speaker 2: the trouble of citing a source, have a direct quote
- 39:29Speaker 2: from the man, so otherwise you're going to look like
- 39:32Speaker 2: an absolute fool.
- 39:35Speaker 12: She really came across as someone who couldn't think on
- 39:38Speaker 12: her feet over there she Yet again, this is another
- 39:41Speaker 12: example of what we just talked about with the previous
- 39:43Speaker 12: topic with the ABC and MTG, of this adversarial style
- 39:48Speaker 12: that it doesn't sound like these reporters have any experience
- 39:51Speaker 12: in at all. And I would layer on top of
- 39:53Speaker 12: that desocratic method, which is what Tucker was doing, which
- 39:55Speaker 12: is of course where the professor, which in this case
- 39:58Speaker 12: clearly came across to be Talker is asking the student
- 40:02Speaker 12: this reporter questions that exposed us the weakness and their
- 40:05Speaker 12: own arguments, and she just completely fell down on that
- 40:07Speaker 12: and didn't give up. I watched that whole clip till
- 40:10Speaker 12: its end, and she kept throwing these pre rehearsed sort
- 40:13Speaker 12: of canned things that she had prepared, questions that she
- 40:15Speaker 12: had prepared at Tucker, and just wasn't able to think
- 40:17Speaker 12: on her feet and respond to what he was actually saying.
- 40:20Speaker 12: So I think she was definitely shown up on that one.
- 40:22Speaker 12: Talker is a free agent right now as well, so
- 40:25Speaker 12: he's really free to hit hard, and he certainly didn't
- 40:28Speaker 12: hold back there.
- 40:31Speaker 2: And she did have another go the poor girl, the
- 40:34Speaker 2: activist journalists, and this might have sounded good in her head,
- 40:38Speaker 2: but it didn't work out so well.
- 40:41Speaker 5: Well, so you don't think you harbor any kind of
- 40:42Speaker 5: responsibility for these hay crimes.
- 40:47Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm trying to be charitable. I'm trying to
- 40:49Speaker 1: be charitable. I was like, maybe you're just pretending to
- 40:53Speaker 1: be dumb. Now, I don't think it's an act. Tucker.
- 40:57Speaker 1: Thank you for taking those questions. I'm sure you enjoyed
- 41:01Speaker 1: us at that I just feel sorry. I mean, because
- 41:03Speaker 1: I got.
- 41:04Speaker 3: Here in the country so unbelievably beautiful and the people
- 41:06Speaker 3: are so cheerful and funny and cool and smart. I'm like,
- 41:09Speaker 3: your media has got to be better than ours. It
- 41:11Speaker 3: can't just be a bunch of castrated in robots reading
- 41:14Speaker 3: questions from the boss and then it turns out is exactly.
- 41:17Speaker 1: The same, maybe even a tiny bit.
- 41:19Speaker 2: Dummer Interesting times, Kosha Gator. We always love getting your insights.
- 41:25Speaker 2: Thank you so much for your time. This evening coming
- 41:27Speaker 2: out Taylor Swift puts a boyfriend to work at a
- 41:30Speaker 2: London concert. Plus the latest Royal news from Kimsey Schofield.
- 41:45Speaker 2: You're watching the Reader Panney Show. Joining me now is
- 41:48Speaker 2: entertainment and royal reporter Kinsey Schofield. Kinsey, Let's start with
- 41:54Speaker 2: Taylor Swift, who brought her American football player boyfriend Travis
- 41:57Speaker 2: Kelsey up on stage in London. Let's have a look.
- 42:14Speaker 2: And she also snuck him into that famous royal selfie
- 42:19Speaker 2: with Prince William and his children, which is the first
- 42:23Speaker 2: time she's posted a picture of Travis on her Instagram.
- 42:26Speaker 2: I didn't know that, and Travis dished this dirt about
- 42:32Speaker 2: that royal meeting.
- 42:33Speaker 19: Dude, he was the coolest mother Jossa.
- 42:36Speaker 7: He was so cool.
- 42:39Speaker 19: I didn't I didn't realize this because obviously we're backstage medium,
- 42:42Speaker 19: because he was there with Little George and Charlotte and
- 42:47Speaker 19: there were an absolute delight to me. Wasn't sure if
- 42:51Speaker 19: I was supposed to like bow to them, Curtsey, just
- 42:54Speaker 19: be an American idiot and shake their hands.
- 43:00Speaker 2: What more can you tell us about this momentous occasion?
- 43:05Speaker 8: Well, I mean I can tell you that I wish
- 43:07Speaker 8: you would have explained that meeting a little bit more
- 43:10Speaker 8: delicately than the way he did. I don't usually drop
- 43:15Speaker 8: MF when talking about the Prince of Wales, but I
- 43:19Speaker 8: think I know that your audience probably doesn't care about this,
- 43:22Speaker 8: but I'm convinced that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey are
- 43:25Speaker 8: going to get married. You do not drop a grid
- 43:28Speaker 8: photo of the Prince of Wales featuring your current boyfriend
- 43:32Speaker 8: and risk having to delete that photo when you guys
- 43:34Speaker 8: break up. I am one hundred percent convinced that these
- 43:37Speaker 8: two are on the way to the Little White Wedding
- 43:40Speaker 8: Chapel in Las Vegas.
- 43:42Speaker 17: And yeah, I mean to see him up on stage.
- 43:44Speaker 8: This guy who did a dating reality show where women
- 43:48Speaker 8: lined up.
- 43:49Speaker 17: I mean it was a very tacky show. Never in
- 43:52Speaker 17: his wildest dreams.
- 43:53Speaker 8: Taylor Swift quote did he think he would not only
- 43:55Speaker 8: be on stage with Taylor Swift, dating Taylor Swift, but
- 43:58Speaker 8: having access to the Prince of Wales and his family.
- 44:02Speaker 12: It is.
- 44:02Speaker 8: I'm sure he sits back and thinks, what have I
- 44:04Speaker 8: done to deserve this?
- 44:08Speaker 2: Well, you're tipping a marriage. I'm tipping the best breakup
- 44:13Speaker 2: album Taylor Swift has ever written, because we know her
- 44:16Speaker 2: material is at its best post breakup. And yeah, we'll
- 44:21Speaker 2: wait for that. Either scenario I think has God pluses there. Now,
- 44:26Speaker 2: the girlfriend of tennis star Tommy Paul has caused much
- 44:30Speaker 2: heated reaction online for the manner in which she interacted
- 44:35Speaker 2: with her man during his trophy presentation at the Queen's
- 44:39Speaker 2: Club Championship in London. And here she is holding the
- 44:51Speaker 2: trophy with Tommy. Tell me why this footage has caused
- 44:58Speaker 2: such debate and I've got a much anger online. I'm
- 45:03Speaker 2: rather bemused by it. I understand why they're strong feeling,
- 45:07Speaker 2: but really is it as terrible as some say it?
- 45:11Speaker 12: Well?
- 45:12Speaker 8: Yeah, her name is Page Lorenz and she was an influencer.
- 45:15Speaker 8: Prior to dating Tommy, she also dated Armie Hammer, which
- 45:20Speaker 8: might be one of the reasons we're seeing some of
- 45:22Speaker 8: the aggression there are we you know, according to reports,
- 45:25Speaker 8: Armie Hammer was kind of aggressive. But I think people
- 45:28Speaker 8: are angry because it seems like she's trying to steal
- 45:31Speaker 8: the spotlight very you know. It's similar to Megan Markle
- 45:33Speaker 8: and the claw, the way she kind of holds on
- 45:35Speaker 8: to Prince Harry.
- 45:37Speaker 1: She's yes, very.
- 45:39Speaker 8: Possessive, and it just seems a little you know, like,
- 45:42Speaker 8: let him have his time, He's done all the work.
- 45:44Speaker 17: You're just showing up and looking glassy.
- 45:48Speaker 2: What this is What I don't understand is why she's
- 45:51Speaker 2: there in the first place. Normally, you have the partners
- 45:54Speaker 2: in the stands cheering on their partners, whether they're or female.
- 46:00Speaker 2: That's fairly conventional in the tennis world. They normally don't
- 46:04Speaker 2: get on the actual court and accept trophies with their husband, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend.
- 46:11Speaker 2: This is just unusual behavior, and who knows, it might
- 46:15Speaker 2: be a new trend that's just been started. Now JL
- 46:19Speaker 2: she's gone fully Jenny from the block again. She was
- 46:22Speaker 2: on a flight to Paris. Not only flying commercial, which
- 46:26Speaker 2: she doesn't do too often, but she was in an
- 46:29Speaker 2: economy seat. Why, Kinsey, she normally flies private or at
- 46:34Speaker 2: the very least she's on the pointy end of the plane.
- 46:38Speaker 2: She's just had this expensive holiday where she was pictured
- 46:41Speaker 2: on yachts. Why is she flying economy? Is it a stunt?
- 46:46Speaker 2: Or is she really that down to earth Jenny from
- 46:49Speaker 2: the Bloc?
- 46:50Speaker 17: Okay, she's just a girl from the Bronx. Reader, I
- 46:52Speaker 17: never forget she's just from the Bronx.
- 46:55Speaker 8: I do think that she probably is trying to look
- 46:58Speaker 8: a little bit more reliatable and to TMZ, she is
- 47:02Speaker 8: receiving a lot of sympathy because of what's going on
- 47:05Speaker 8: with Ben Affleck. And then you have a move like
- 47:08Speaker 8: this where you stumble upon Jennifer Lopez movie Star, Superstar
- 47:12Speaker 8: and the economy section of an airplane.
- 47:15Speaker 17: Uh, and that goes viral.
- 47:17Speaker 8: So I do think it's probably a positive PR move
- 47:20Speaker 8: for her. She was there with a security guard, she
- 47:23Speaker 8: was safe, She you know, kept her head down and
- 47:27Speaker 8: there was no diva behavior. And I think that she's
- 47:30Speaker 8: been criticized a lot for some of that diva behavior,
- 47:33Speaker 8: and maybe this is her trying to set the record straight.
- 47:37Speaker 8: But you know j Loo heading to a fashion you know,
- 47:40Speaker 8: heading to a fashion week event too, I'd be so
- 47:42Speaker 8: concerned that my my, my bags, my shoes, my my
- 47:45Speaker 8: stuff would get crushed.
- 47:47Speaker 7: Not j Lo.
- 47:47Speaker 17: She's just one of the girls from the Bronx.
- 47:51Speaker 2: Oh yeah, she's just she's just so down to earth.
- 47:54Speaker 2: But with a security guard there, I mean she was
- 47:56Speaker 2: in the middle State. I'd take that more seriously.
- 47:59Speaker 12: Now.
- 48:00Speaker 2: Will Commentators have been remarking on Princess Charlotte's clear fiction
- 48:05Speaker 2: for her mother, describing her full of admiration for Princess
- 48:09Speaker 2: Catherine as she continues to battle cancer. I would have
- 48:13Speaker 2: said that was pretty obvious. But tell me about this
- 48:16Speaker 2: commentary that we're hearing.
- 48:18Speaker 8: Yeah, I think that this is We're caring a lot
- 48:20Speaker 8: about Princess Charlotte lately. I mean, between this and the
- 48:22Speaker 8: Taylor Swift apparently Charlotte was the Taylor Swift instigator and
- 48:27Speaker 8: was just full of a little.
- 48:29Speaker 17: Firecracker at the Taylor Swift concert.
- 48:31Speaker 8: And then we get this article from Hello talking about how,
- 48:34Speaker 8: you know, her mother's illness has made them best friends
- 48:38Speaker 8: and they are very She's obviously very protective of her mother,
- 48:41Speaker 8: but as she gets older, they've grown incredibly closer and
- 48:45Speaker 8: they truly are. You know, they're bonding and they're really
- 48:49Speaker 8: good friends these days. I think that so great to
- 48:52Speaker 8: hear about these children. They're typically so protective of them
- 48:56Speaker 8: and what little things now.
- 48:58Speaker 2: And they all seem happy. It all seems happy and
- 49:01Speaker 2: well adjusted, which is great to see. Kinsey Schofield. Thank
- 49:05Speaker 2: you so much for your time this evening. That's it
- 49:07Speaker 2: from me. Up next is Newsnight. I'll see you tomorrow
- 49:11Speaker 2: for Left is Losing It at nine thirty. Good night,
