- 0:0154321 All Systems Go with Josh Applebaum starts now Hello and
- 0:14welcome to episode 521 of the All Systems Go sports betting
- 0:20podcast powered by Rhythm. I'm your host, Josh Applebaum.
- 0:30What's going on everyone? Happy fade the public Friday.
- 0:33Happy final day of the month of May.
- 0:35That's right. Finishing up our work week,
- 0:38finishing up the month of May. Next time I see you guys, it'll
- 0:40be Monday, June 1st. So man, spring is flying by.
- 0:44When does summer officially begin?
- 0:46I don't know when, but it's got to be close here.
- 0:48But we're going to see if we can wrap up the month of May on a
- 0:51high note here, guys, I do have a three pack of MLB plays for
- 0:54you. Don't we just love betting Major
- 0:56League Baseball? That's right, System matches,
- 0:59sharp mush edges, rhythm edges. Again, low bets, higher dollars,
- 1:03line moves. You guys know the drill.
- 1:05So we're going to get right back to betting Major League
- 1:07Baseball. I have two very short favorites,
- 1:10one team. It's almost hard to believe how
- 1:13short this team is so good. It's hard to believe how short
- 1:16this number is in a historical spot that they typically do well
- 1:19in and then also going to get down on the dog here.
- 1:22Maybe you can get a little bit of plus money if you can, but
- 1:26with two short money line favorites and a very short dog,
- 1:29if we can go 2IN1 ecot a winning day, that'll be a nice little
- 1:32little return in terms of a bettress first bet to win.
- 1:35But before we get to that, guys just want to mention as always
- 1:38and remind you guys talked about it last couple days.
- 1:41It officially went live yesterday.
- 1:43I've already seen a bunch of people sign up, so thank you
- 1:45already. But come on down, come join the
- 1:49Applebaum World Cup Survivor contest.
- 1:52Once again, I'm teaming up with Splash Sports.
- 1:55They are the best around when it comes to contest.
- 1:57I think it's just kind of, you know, when you're grinding
- 1:59baseball and different sports every single day, you're
- 2:02obviously looking at the slate tonight.
- 2:03Yeah, you're betting some futures, but to me, the Survivor
- 2:07contests are just a fun way to kind of build your bankroll,
- 2:10hopefully capitalize on specific events.
- 2:12Like again, NFL is the best, of course, but March Madness and
- 2:16then of course, the World Cup. Because again, and I make the
- 2:19joke of the Dos Equis guy, don't always bet soccer or football as
- 2:24they like to call it internationally, but when I do,
- 2:26it's the World Cup. So already have had a bunch of
- 2:29people sign up. I'd love for you guys to throw
- 2:30your hat in the ring. This is a $25 entry fee, but you
- 2:36could win upwards of $22,000 if you are able to be the last man
- 2:41or woman standing in the Applebaum World Cup Survivor
- 2:44contest with Splash Sports. I've had a lot of people reach
- 2:47out number one saying, oh, thanks for inviting me.
- 2:50You might have gotten a direct message from me on Twitter
- 2:51because I'm a, I'm a guerrilla marketer.
- 2:54Again, I'm I'll be tweeting this out just so you can always get
- 2:57it from my Twitter page at Josh under score Insights.
- 3:00You can also sign up via the bio description of the pod on
- 3:04Spotify, iTunes. There should be just a link
- 3:05there you can click. But I've had a few people say,
- 3:07oh, thanks for thinking to me. Thanks for inviting me, but I'm
- 3:09not a soccer person and let me just reply to you with I'm not a
- 3:13soccer person either. So it's a lot of fun.
- 3:16If you listen to this pod, you're probably data-driven,
- 3:19data minded and what you're doing is and even though you
- 3:22know, I can't name anyone other than David Beckham and Ronaldo
- 3:26and you know a couple of these of the other players here, but
- 3:30you don't really have to know a lot about soccer.
- 3:31I know next to nothing about soccer.
- 3:34I'm not a soccer better, but the World Cups every four years, I
- 3:37want to I want to get in on the fun.
- 3:40I know my but as I mentioned before, my buddy's throwing a
- 3:42big World Cup party. He's getting a projector in his
- 3:45backyard so we can sweat the Brazil game.
- 3:47And you know, this is going to just take over and become an
- 3:49insane event for upwards of over a month long.
- 3:52So hey, 25 bucks to get in on the fun and who knows, maybe you
- 3:56might even win the whole thing. A nice 20K little bonus wouldn't
- 3:59be too bad. And then also, I've had people
- 4:02reach out about the rules. It's, it's a little confusing,
- 4:06but it's not when you really think about it.
- 4:07The first thing is you have to pick four teams to get out of
- 4:10the group stage. So this all closes on June 11th.
- 4:16So you have until June 11th, but come on in, get in now, sign up
- 4:18now and spread the link and give it to your friends.
- 4:21But there's all these different groups.
- 4:23I don't know, there's 10-15 different groups, twenty groups.
- 4:26You just have to pick four teams to advance out of their group
- 4:29stage. And then from there you go into
- 4:32the knockout round. So I think it's like 4 or five
- 4:34rounds get to the championship game.
- 4:36We talked yesterday about, you know, saving some of the better
- 4:39team. So you know, saving, you know, I
- 4:41don't know France or another good team Brazil until later in
- 4:45the the stages. But here's the thing, the sports
- 4:48are going to give you odds for each team to get out of their
- 4:51group. And then you're going to be able
- 4:53to look at like Poly market prediction markets.
- 4:55I know Nate Silver was always really good at predictions.
- 4:58So you may not know a lot of these teams or can name me a
- 5:02single player, but you can still, if you're data minded,
- 5:05data-driven, which if you're listening to spot, I would
- 5:06assume you are, you can still pick a team to advance.
- 5:09Have some fun. Start with the group stage, pick
- 5:12those four. Obviously try not to pick your
- 5:14champion there because you want to save them till later, but it
- 5:16all starts with the group stage pick four, move on.
- 5:19And then it's one pick per knockout round.
- 5:22So come on down, please join. The more the merrier and the
- 5:26more entries, the bigger the pot for whoever wins the whole
- 5:29thing. So you can again sign up for the
- 5:31Applebaum World Cup Survivor Contest with Splash Sports.
- 5:34It is available now as we speak. Come on down and like to see a
- 5:37bunch more entries today and I want to see someone who listens
- 5:40to the pod end up taking home 20K or so.
- 5:43With that being said, real quick recap of last night.
- 5:46Guys 1 and 1 -. 0.29 units. Had a great hit to start today
- 5:51with the White Sox six to two winner over the Twins.
- 5:55Unfortunately. Paul Skeens.
- 5:56I was so excited to sweat Paul Skeens because I don't really
- 5:59bet on him a ton and don't watch a ton of his games.
- 6:02I know he's great. I mean he went like 5 innings,
- 6:04gave up one run, which for anybody would be great.
- 6:07I don't know. There was a bad defense behind
- 6:09him and then the Cubs bats really just popped off in the
- 6:13last 8th, 9th inning. So couldn't get the the Pirates
- 6:16there. They lost seven to two to the
- 6:18Cubs but did get the White Sox so went one and 1 -. 0.29 units.
- 6:23So we're going to see if we can get back in the green, have a
- 6:25winning day today and finish off the week in the month of May on
- 6:29a winning note. So sign up for the World Cup
- 6:31Survivor. And now let's talk about some
- 6:33MLB plays here for tonight. So huge slate over all 15 games.
- 6:38So that means we got a lot of games to to choose from and I
- 6:40settled on three that really caught my eye.
- 6:42Again, all short prices. So let's try to eke out a 2 and
- 6:451. So first.
- 6:46But on the board, let's go to Cleveland, home of the Rock and
- 6:49Roll Hall of Fame. I've never been.
- 6:51I'd like to go one day, but the Red Sox visiting the Guardian,
- 6:547:10 PM Eastern Time. First pitch, Let's talk line,
- 6:58move, split system, matches, rhythm, juice reel.
- 7:01And I'll give you my play for this one.
- 7:02So Red Sox come in 23 and 32. Pathetic as a Red Sox fan, but
- 7:07that's what you get when you don't spend money and your GM is
- 7:09terrible. Yeah, let's trade Kyle Harrison
- 7:11for for Caleb Durbin. Harrison's like a Sion contender
- 7:15and Durbin is hitting like $1.60 anyway.
- 7:18The Red Sox 23 and 32. Just dropped two of three
- 7:21against the Braves. Lost yesterday's series finale
- 7:241:50 as a + 115 home dog mean all the guards 33 and 25.
- 7:29They just lost two or three against the Nationals, but did
- 7:32avoid the sweep. They won that series finale 3 to
- 7:342 as a -180 home favorite. So pitching match up for tonight
- 7:39Red Sox are going with the lefty opener Tyler Samaniego.
- 7:43He's O and two with a one point O 4 ERA mean all the guards are
- 7:47going to go with the righty Slade Sasone who's three and
- 7:50five with a 5.18 ERA. So.
- 7:52What have you seen across the market?
- 7:54Will this game open with Cleveland listed as a very short
- 7:56-120 home favorite? Red Sox are on a + 100 Rd.
- 8:00Dog and Sharps have jumped on the Guardians laying a very
- 8:03short number here. I like Cleveland guys.
- 8:05Cleveland's gotten steamed up -120 now up to -130 some shops
- 8:11again -125 -, 130 We've seen this line move in favor of the
- 8:14guards and in particular at Circa really good bet split on
- 8:18Cleveland. Cleveland is only getting 63% of
- 8:21money line bets, but 96% of money line dollars.
- 8:25So it tells me out in Vegas you got a lot of big money going
- 8:28with Cleveland here. A lot of system matches lighting
- 8:31up on Cleveland. So let's just run through a few
- 8:33of them. One, if you are an above 500
- 8:36home favorite cheap -140 or less facing a below 500 team, those
- 8:41teams are 28 and 1467 percent, 21% ROI this year.
- 8:47If you are a sweet spot home favorite price between -125 and
- 8:51-150 and you made the postseason the previous year and your
- 8:54opponent also made the postseason the previous year,
- 8:57that system is 45 and 1970% with a 24% ROI since the start of
- 9:03last year. Cleveland also just has some
- 9:07additional betting system and correlative betting value.
- 9:09So betting system value as a non division favorite, lack of
- 9:12familiarity benefiting quote UN quote the better team and also a
- 9:16correlative betting favorite. Low total.
- 9:18The favorite around -130 total in this game is 8, so few amount
- 9:22of expected run scored more likely to come from quote UN
- 9:25quote that better team expected to win next.
- 9:27Cleveland has a good rest first tired advantage because the
- 9:30Guardians were off yesterday and before they were off they had a
- 9:33home stand against the Nats. So they're off and haven't
- 9:36traveled at all. Red Sox played yesterday in
- 9:39Boston. Now they travel to Cleveland.
- 9:41So one team's rested, the other team's tired.
- 9:44So Sony, who they picked up in is it secondy.
- 9:47So Sony, I can never get the guy's name right.
- 9:50Knock on what I hope he pitches well, but they picked him up in
- 9:53a trade with the D backs and his numbers overall.
- 9:55I gave you them a second ago. Three and five. 5.18 ERA.
- 9:58Not very good. He's actually pitched pretty
- 10:01well recently. In his last four starts he has a
- 10:042.97 ERA. He's only given up 7 earned runs
- 10:07and 21.2 innings pitched. Cleveland is 4 and one in his
- 10:11last five starts and on the road, not very good. 5.7 for
- 10:15ERA, but at home 3.6 O. So a short opener for Cleveland.
- 10:20The lines gone further in their favor.
- 10:22Good splits lot of system matches rest first tired and oh
- 10:26by the way, popped open Juice Reel noticed an 11% sharp mush
- 10:30edge on Cleveland. So the sharps who have
- 10:33downloaded like you out there listening the app Juice Reel
- 10:36also going with Cleveland. So first put on the board guys
- 10:39going guardians. I got them -120 at the score
- 10:43formerly ESPN bet shop around though a lot of books now -125
- 10:47-. 130 but still relatively short chalk price.
- 10:50Let's go, guards next one for you. 7:40 PM Eastern Time, first
- 10:55pitch, the Detroit Tigers, the Detroit Tigers facing the
- 10:58Chicago White Sox now. Tigers come in 22 and 35.
- 11:03Big disappointing year. They're really good.
- 11:04Last year they've lost two or three against the Angels.
- 11:08Just dropped yesterday's serious family to the Angels 7 to 1 as a
- 11:12-140 home favorite. Meanwhile, the White Sox kind of
- 11:15the other other way. Here they are playing pretty
- 11:18well. 29 and 27. When was the last time they were
- 11:21above 500? Must have been must be a while.
- 11:23I know my buddy Darush knows the answer to that because he's a
- 11:26big Southsiders fan. But they just took three or four
- 11:29against the Twins. Had a big win for us yesterday.
- 11:31Six to two as a -, 175 home favorite.
- 11:35So tonight's series opener Tigers are going to go with the
- 11:37ready Troy Melton, he's one and O with a 1.59 ERA mean all the
- 11:42White Sox are going to go with a ready opener.
- 11:44Brandon Isert, who's O&O with Aera of five.
- 11:48Now what have we seen across the market?
- 11:50Well, this game opened Detroit around a -, 125 road favorite,
- 11:54Chicago around a + 105 home dog and sharps.
- 11:58You could think, OK, Detroit struggled, but again, it's a low
- 12:01number for the Tigers. They were a playoff team
- 12:03yesterday or last year. Or do they say, hey, White Sox
- 12:06playing well, a little bit of plus money at home.
- 12:08Well, they're going with the ladder because this line is
- 12:10dropped away from Detroit. They've gone from -125 now down
- 12:15to around -120 -, 115. Meanwhile, the lines move
- 12:19towards Chicago. You know, plus one O 5 to now
- 12:22about even money, some books even like -1 O 2 - 1 O 3.
- 12:26So it tells us that we got a lot of big money on the South
- 12:29Siders. I'm going White Sox here, guys.
- 12:31DraftKings 59% bets 67% dollars on the White Sox over at circa
- 12:3880% bets over 90% dollars on the White Sox.
- 12:41So the lines moving towards Chicago and we got the low bets,
- 12:44higher dollars from both DK and Circa in favor of Chicago.
- 12:49Bunch of good system matches. Home dogs off a win.
- 12:51Very simple. Home dogs off a win. 71 and
- 12:556652%. Eleven percent ROI this year.
- 12:59Chicago would also have that betting system and correlative
- 13:01betting value as a divisional dog in a high total game.
- 13:05Told this one is 8 1/2. It's kind of juiced over -120
- 13:09that would be a dog high total. Some more expected run scored,
- 13:12more variants, more upset opportunities, but then also
- 13:15divisional dog built in familiarity levels the playing
- 13:18field. If you go a step further, a
- 13:20divisional dog off a win 63 and 54 this year, 54% and you know,
- 13:26if you are a 54% system on a plus money dog system, it's a
- 13:30good ROI, 20% ROI. Now the White Sox have the
- 13:34better bats. Let's hope they get to Melton.
- 13:36I think both these guys might be openers, but the White Sox are
- 13:39hitting or have posted a four O 2 slug slugging percentage, 262
- 13:44runs scored. Tigers 370 slug, 218 runs
- 13:49scored. White Sox pretty good at home,
- 13:5117 and 11 good at night, 18 and 12.
- 13:55Detroit 8 and 21 on the road. That's the worst Rd. record in
- 13:58baseball. Let's keep it the worst.
- 14:00And they are just 11 and 26 in night games.
- 14:02So line is clearly going away from Detroit toward the White
- 14:06Sox. We have a divisional dog.
- 14:08We got good splits. We have a 10% sharp mush edge
- 14:11from our friends at Juice Reel on Chicago.
- 14:13So I'm taking a shot on the South Siders now.
- 14:15I got the White Sox plus one O 2 at Bally Bet.
- 14:19But definitely shop around because some books or most books
- 14:21are like even money or even like -1 O 2 - 1 O 5 S.
- 14:25Try to get as much plus money, just a centre or two if you can.
- 14:29But second play for me. White Sox plus one O 2 last play
- 14:33of the night. Let's stay up late.
- 14:35And unfortunately this is on Apple TVI believe so probably
- 14:38going to make me pay 10 bucks to get a monthly a monthly pass,
- 14:44but I might need it because I got to sweat this game.
- 14:46And it is 10:15 PM Eastern Time the Phillies playing and
- 14:51visiting in Hollywood, the LA Dodgers.
- 14:54So Phillies come in 29 and 27 member.
- 14:57They were terrible. They fired Thompson, they
- 14:59brought in Mattingly. They've been really good ever
- 15:00since. They just swept the Padres, won
- 15:03that series finale 3 to nothing as a -. 145 road favorite.
- 15:08You know, the Dodgers doing what the Dodgers do 36 and 20.
- 15:11Just swept the Rockies, won that series finale 4 to 1 as a
- 15:14massive -450 home favorite. Quick comment.
- 15:18I noticed that there was a big article about Major League
- 15:21Baseball wanting a salary cap and proposing a salary cap for
- 15:24the first time since 1994 when there was a strike, when I
- 15:28believe the Expos were by far and away the best team and
- 15:31probably going to win it all. And then they get the strike and
- 15:34season's over. But again, I am all for a salary
- 15:39cap in baseball. And you'll level the playing
- 15:41field, make the bad teams who spend no money spend more.
- 15:44There'll be a floor, I think it's like 170 million and then
- 15:47there's going to be a cap that's like 300 million.
- 15:49Anyway, my curiosity, I don't know if it's going to happen
- 15:52because the players union, it definitely, definitely do not
- 15:54want that, but I think it would definitely benefit baseball.
- 15:58And I'm just wondering what the Dodgers, your payrolls like 450
- 16:01million and that's even with Otani, all that deferral money.
- 16:05How does that level the playing field?
- 16:07Like do the Dodgers come back down to earth if there's a
- 16:08salary cap, you know, they don't want one anyway, Interesting.
- 16:12Just thought overall. But for tonight we have the
- 16:14Phillies going with the ready Zach Wheeler, he's four and O
- 16:17with a 1.67 ERA. Dodgers meanwhile, going with
- 16:20the lefty Justin Roblewski, he's six and two with a three-point O
- 16:247 ERA. So.
- 16:25What do you see across the market?
- 16:27Well, this came open. Dodgers listed as a very short
- 16:29-115 home favorite, Philly A -, 1 O five row dog and sharps.
- 16:35They're taking advantage of a short number on the Dodgers
- 16:37because we've seen this line move further toward the dodgers
- 16:39-115 up to -120 some shops even approaching -125 and we look at
- 16:46the splits, in particular at Circa out in Vegas.
- 16:49The Dodgers are getting 64% of money line bets, but 82% of
- 16:54money line dollars tells us big money in Vegas going with the
- 16:57Dodgers at the short number. Now the Dodgers have a lot of
- 17:00system matches for me. If you're a home favorite off a
- 17:03win with a winning record and you made the playoffs the
- 17:06previous year, that system is 58 and 3165 percent. 6% ROI this
- 17:14year when both teams are coming off a day off, which is also the
- 17:17case here. Home favorite is 37 and 2065%,
- 17:2110% ROI this year. And here's the system.
- 17:24When I'm talking about the the Dodgers, I'm like, OK, that's a
- 17:26short number. Well, it's cuz Wheelers good and
- 17:28you'll feel he's a good team, obviously.
- 17:30But we've talked about this before.
- 17:32You know, the Dodgers in that last game in the series, they
- 17:35just played against the Rockies, they closed at -450 -. 450 in a
- 17:40baseball game is insane, but routinely Dodgers are -200 -.
- 17:44250 at home When the Dodgers are priced at -150 or less.
- 17:50Since 2022 since they've had this crazy epic run, they are 46
- 17:56and 2169% with a 21% ROI. So what that what that tells you
- 18:01is Dodgers are rarely -120 at home even -150 or less, but when
- 18:07they are they're usually a smart bet to to get behind.
- 18:11LA also has additional correlative betting favorite low
- 18:13total total of 8 as well as a non division favorite.
- 18:18Lack of familiarity benefiting the better team.
- 18:20Dodgers have the better bats. Let's hope they can get to
- 18:22Wheeler and Roblevski pitch as well, but the Dodgers are
- 18:25hitting two. 62346 on base, 440 slug, 298 run scored.
- 18:31Phillies hitting 220-8297 on base. 385 slug, 223 run scored.
- 18:37LA in particular facing a righty and a Wheeler is good, but
- 18:40they're hitting 264 against righty's this year.
- 18:43That's number one in baseball. Phillies hitting 216 against
- 18:46lefties. That ranks 25th.
- 18:48Also, hopefully the bullpen can hold it down.
- 18:51Dodgers have the number one bullpen in baseball, 3 point O3
- 18:54ERA Phillies 3.88. That is 15th in baseball.
- 18:58So we have a short number, value play, you could call it on the
- 19:01Dodgers, but not just value. I think they're sharp and I
- 19:04don't think I know cuz the low bets, higher dollars in the line
- 19:07move, but good system matches. Again, better bats.
- 19:11And that number I just gave you dodgers -150 or less.
- 19:15They're winning basically 7 out of 10 times in that spot with a
- 19:1721% ROI. Lastly, popped open Juice Reel,
- 19:21noticed a 25% sharp mush edge in favor of the Dodgers.
- 19:27So hopefully, hopefully we can play some Randy Newman.
- 19:29I love LA around, I don't know, 1:00 AM tonight because I'll be
- 19:32staying up late and sweating it. And that's OK with me because I
- 19:35do. I do a late shift with my
- 19:37daughter and she is now a little over two months old, which is
- 19:40crazy. But let's go Dodgers, Guardians,
- 19:43White Sox, Dodgers, all relatively cheap prices.
- 19:46Let's try to get 2 out of 3 finish up the week and the month
- 19:50on a winning note. So that about does it for
- 19:52episode 521 of the All Systems Go Sports Betting podcast
- 19:57powered by Rhythm. This is the part of the pod
- 19:59where we wrap things up and I always start first by saying
- 20:01thank you. Thank you for listening, thank
- 20:04you for tuning in, thanks for supporting the pod.
- 20:06If you would like to help me grow this podcast, please,
- 20:09there's some very easy, simple, quick things you can do.
- 20:12Just give the pod a five star review on Spotify or iTunes.
- 20:16Rate and review leave a comment if you feel so inclined.
- 20:19If you'd also like to click the follow button, recommend the pod

- 20:24put it out on Twitter at Josh under score Insights.
- 20:26Any or all those things will be very much appreciated.
- 20:30Next, if you enjoy the style of data-driven sports betting,
- 20:33you've now been provided A blueprint how to attack the
- 20:35market. You've learned how to read line
- 20:37movement, interpret splits, have some instincts that you've built
- 20:40overtime looking for situations or spots or red flags when
- 20:44something is fishy or doesn't make sense.
- 20:47If that is the case and you want to learn more about data-driven
- 20:50betting or you have someone in your life who could use some
- 20:53data-driven tips, or Father's Day is coming up, you got to get
- 20:56a gift for dad or your son or your uncle or grandpa or
- 20:59whoever, Then I would love for you to go to Amazon.com and type
- 21:03in the Everything Guide to Sports Betting or type in the
- 21:06NFL Sharp Betting Playbook. Grab one or both of my books.
- 21:10You'd make my day and then you can bring them to the sports
- 21:12book. I'll sign them for you.
- 21:14I'll buy a beer or ginger ale. We'll get some Cracker Jacks.
- 21:17We'll have some fun. Sweat some baseball together
- 21:19next. Have you downloaded Rhythm and
- 21:21Juice Real yet? My two favorite sports betting
- 21:23apps. They help me when they're going
- 21:24to help you win because they're all about the data.
- 21:26I just consider them another sharp box to check off when
- 21:29you're building a case deciding whether or not to bet on a game.
- 21:32So Rhythm great for their AI backed models and predictions
- 21:35for game bets and player props. And then of course, juice reel.
- 21:38So many great features. You can sync up your sports
- 21:40books, got a running report card of your action, know your
- 21:43strengths and weaknesses, and then also you can get the Robo
- 21:46Jackson best bet picks. The sharp mush indicator is the
- 21:49arbitrage plays, the shop for the best line futures And then
- 21:53even even if you want to go a step further and really make my
- 21:55day, I'd love for you to sign up and support the pod, toss in a
- 22:00$10.00 bill or you know, a little bit more if you want into
- 22:03the tip jar and get the ASG best bet picks because as soon as I
- 22:07make the play, as soon as I bet it at my book, it goes right to
- 22:10the ASG podcast profile on Juice Rail.
- 22:14You can click buy sell bottom right corner search box.
- 22:17Just type in ASG. You can sign up to get a free
- 22:21seven day trial to track the plays for a week.
- 22:24If you want to continue it cost $9.99 a week.
- 22:28That is the equivalent of $1.42 a day.
- 22:31It would be $24.99 for a month's worth of plays.
- 22:34That's a 35% discount. That's $0.83 a day.
- 22:38And if you really want to be a hero, buy a full year of ASG
- 22:42Best Bet picks for $199.99. That is the equivalent of $0.55
- 22:48a day. But anyone who has signed up to
- 22:50get the plays or is thinking about it, I appreciate you.
- 22:52And again, it's a way to support the pod.
- 22:54This pods free, you know, toss in a few bones in a tip jar.
- 22:58And it's not just for me to, I don't know, buy a new pair of
- 23:01shoes or something. It's what I would call the the
- 23:05baby Applebaum childcare fund, which I'll be having to pay for
- 23:08childcare soon. My wife has two more months of
- 23:12of maternity leave and I'm getting nervous because when she
- 23:14goes back, it's going to be me and my daughter, me trying to
- 23:17work and taking care of my daughter at the same time.
- 23:19So say a prayer for me. But anyway, guys, download
- 23:22rhythm, download juicer. I'll give them both a five star
- 23:24review in the App Store. Next you have a live odds page.
- 23:27Well, if you don't have one, you need one.
- 23:29It's such a critical tool. I would argue it's it's a must
- 23:31have because you got to be able to track the betting market in
- 23:34real time. You got to know all the games
- 23:36available to bet that day, the start times, the live scoring,
- 23:39the live in game wagering odds if you want to get down in game.
- 23:42But again, all the work you're doing prior to the game
- 23:44starting, it really stems from the live odds page.
- 23:47Comparing the opening column to all the current prices, you can
- 23:49quickly see which direction the line is move.
- 23:52For me, as a data-driven better, the first handicap is which
- 23:55direction as the line moves. That's telling you something.
- 23:57It's telling you where if it's not an injury, you know sharp
- 24:00money's leaning, but then you can shop for the best line.
- 24:03Identify steam. You can do it all with odds
- 24:05logic. So if you ever want to give a
- 24:07shot to odds logic, use this special link Odds logic.com/josh
- 24:13123. That's going to give you a 7 day
- 24:15free trial and 50% off your first month of service.
- 24:19Lastly, I mentioned it before, but come on down.
- 24:21Sign up for the World Cup Survivor contest with splash
- 24:24boards. 25 bucks could win you 20 grand.
- 24:27So come join. You can find the link on my
- 24:30Twitter page at Josh under score Insights.
- 24:32So that about does it for episode 521 of the ASG Pod on a
- 24:36big Friday wrap up the month of May 2.
- 24:38Final thoughts as always one whether I see you at the Borgata
- 24:42in Atlantic City, Twin River in Rhode Island, the Brooklyn, New
- 24:44Hampshire, Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun down in Connecticut at the
- 24:47Encore in Boston, Plain Ridge Park, Casino, MGM Springfield or
- 24:51the Nash and my neck of the woods on the border of
- 24:53Massachusetts in New Hampshire. We're out in the desert where
- 24:56the true grinders get down or Billy Walter sends his number
- 24:59runners with lowest juice possible is found at the South
- 25:01Point or sweat and sharp contrarian plays jumping in the
- 25:04stadium swimming pool. When you catch a big ticket at
- 25:06Circa, wherever it may be, you can walk up to me.
- 25:10Show me a beautiful Southsiders ticket.
- 25:13First one's on me, next one's on you will post about the book
- 25:15Sweat sharp contrarian plays all Night long.
- 25:18So as always, guys coming off a one in one A2 and O&O and two, a
- 25:21winning day, a losing day, a hot streak, a cold streak, a great
- 25:24month of betting, a terrible month of betting.
- 25:27We just can't get too high when things are good or too low when
- 25:29things are bad. We know that the betting market
- 25:31is difficult. We got to overcome the juice,
- 25:33overcome bad beats. We got to learn to identify
- 25:37games with value and lay off the ones that don't.
- 25:39But here's the thing, even though betting is hard, it's
- 25:41challenging. It's rewarding when you do well.
- 25:43It gives you perspective when you're struggling.
- 25:45But we embrace that challenge. So we're always looking for
- 25:47games that fit our model, not our gut instinct, but the model
- 25:51against the public, with the house, with the pros, flat bet,
- 25:54avoid parlays and get that CLV. If we can do that, we're going
- 25:58to be successful sports betters. So I hope everyone has a great
- 26:01Friday night, have an even better weekend, and then I'll
- 26:04see you back on Monday to kick off the month of June.
- 26:08That will be episode 522 of the All systems Go sports betting
- 26:12podcast powered by rhythm. Good luck everybody and have a
- 26:15great Friday night. Good luck.
