Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_03]: The liberal globalist order is on its brink and awakening a new conservative age.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_03]: Dr. Steve Turley, join me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-bondalization of conservative civilization.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_03]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_03]: The Pope just picked a fight, he can't win.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_03]: He thought his deleted tweets were gone.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_03]: He thought his old social media account, you know the one full anti-Trump, anti-vance, anti-America first post, had vanished the moment white smoke rose over the sustained chapel.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_03]: But here's the thing about the internet.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_03]: nothing disappears, the internet's forever.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_03]: And now the first American Pope in the history of the Catholic Church is in an all-out political war with the American president.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_03]: And that's just where it begins.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_03]: Make sure you stick with me very into this video because I'm going to show you not only how this Pope walked into this fight, but why his own ancient walls are the greatest argument against everything he's preaching.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_03]: Hey gang, it's me, Dr. Steve, your Patre professor.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_03]: Here it up, you make sense in the madness.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_03]: We're breaking news and analysis.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_03]: You're not going to get anywhere else.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_03]: So you know what to do, make sure to smack that bell and subscribe.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_03]: But alright, so Pope Leo, the 14th, born Robert Francis Pravos in Chicago, Illinois, had a Twitter account under the handle at DR Pravos, I guess Dr. Pravos.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_03]: That account, which was deleted the day after he was elected Pope on May 8th of last year, had been used repeatedly to reshare articles that blatantly attacked the Trump administration's immigration policies and attacked J.D.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_03]: Vance's Roman Catholic theology directly.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_03]: We're not talking about private letters here.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_03]: These were public retweets, public endorsements,
- 1:57[SPEAKER_03]: re-tweeted articles with headlines like J.D.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_03]: Vance's wrong.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_03]: Jesus doesn't ask us to rank our love for others, and a number of similar often very politically left-wing articles, and this week Trump found them.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_03]: He re-shared them on true social and road, not good.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_03]: Then over the next 72 hours, he called the Pope week on crime, terrible for foreign policy, and claimed that the Pope had been chosen as an American specifically to try to handle Donald Trump.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_03]: The Pope flying to Algeria's responded with this.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_01]: He said that you're a terrible foreign policy, a fear of realm, though the Trump administration.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_01]: I have no fear of this, but neither the Trump administration nor the rest of the world are speaking out loud, they are not the message of the gospel.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_01]: And again, that's what I believe, I am confident with the church's response to, and we're not politicians, we're not looking into people.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's more in politics, it's also with the same perspective that he might understand, but I do believe that much in the gospel, less than a piece of makers, and some other more needs to know.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you very much for clarifying.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_03]: Now to be rather blunt here, that was simply not genuine.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_03]: What he just said there.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_03]: Again, in all due respect, his claim that he's not political was radically contradicted by what he did mere days before when he met with Obama's right-hand man, David Axelrod, personally.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_03]: There's Obama's cheap political strategist from both 2008-2012 campaigns.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_03]: Axelrod met privately with Pope Leo at the Vatican just days before Leo would say that he's not political.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_03]: What the heck is he meeting with David Axelrod for?
- 3:51[SPEAKER_03]: And it just so happens that
- 3:54[SPEAKER_03]: Just days after that meeting with Obama's right-hand man who keep in mind, remember, is also from Chicago.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_03]: Just days after meeting with Obama's right-hand man, the Pope suddenly publicly torches Trump and criticizes him over the war with Iran.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, what a coincidence.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_03]: Of course, it would have nothing to do with decoupling Catholics away from Trump and back to Axelrod and Obama's Democrat party.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_03]: It's such an absurd dichotomy, and that's because the gospel is itself radically political.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_03]: To publicly declare Jesus Christ is Lord, historically speaking, was a radical political statement.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_03]: It was a declaration of treason in the Greco-Roman world.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_03]: In the Roman Empire, you could call your gods, whatever you always, very polytheistic.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_03]: You could call your gods, whatever you want.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_03]: But you don't call them Lord.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_03]: The Greek word was kidials.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_03]: You never say kidials, yes, who's crystals.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_03]: You never say Jesus Christ is Lord.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_03]: There's only one Lord.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_03]: There's only one kidials in the Roman Empire.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_03]: That's Kaiser kidials.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_03]: That's the Lord Caesar.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_03]: Calling your god Lord is a first class to get to your own execution.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_03]: Just ask 11 of the 12 apostles.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_03]: The gospel has always been political, and that's why the Pope, then Robert Pravos, posted so many far-leftist retweets that openly criticize President Trump and his immigration policies, open up not being political yet nonsense.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_03]: Borders are Tom Home and himself he devout Catholic wasn't having any of this, here's what he had to say.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_00]: because if they wore my shoes for 40 years and talked to nine-year-old girl they are great multiple times or stood in the back of a trailer back to track the trailer in 19 dead amines that might be including a five-year-old boy that baked to death if they understood the atrocities that happened on the open boarder I think they're painting with change and I welcome in discussion with any of them because they don't understand the rhythm of grace is not a victim is crying where President Trump had the most secure boarder in the lifetime of this nation right now
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: Lives are being saved.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: He saved 1,000 lives a year because he had to secure a border.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_00]: Human traffickers were out of business, right?
- 6:22[SPEAKER_00]: The car tells her are going bankrupt because of that secure border.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: I wish they'd understand that.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_00]: because they did, I think they have a different opinion.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_03]: And that's just so good.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_03]: And it's so perfectly exposed is just how political this pope is.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_03]: His opinion about Trump and this war and open borders, it's not a theological opinion, it's not a logical opinion, it's a political one, a politically left-wing one.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_03]: Only a third world is left to seize borders as oppressive.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_03]: and illegal migrants as all oppressed.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_03]: When employment fact opened borders, unleashes a torrent of oppressive, vicious, violent actors to prey on true victims as Tom Holman pointed out.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_03]: The only people in the planet who don't see that are political leftists in this pope.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_03]: But it's what surrounds this pope and his own backyard at the Vatican.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_03]: That's perhaps the single most powerful refutation to his denunciations of them all.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_03]: But first, what have I told you?
- 7:30[SPEAKER_03]: There's a little known arbitrage opportunity, hiding inside a 30 billion dollar market.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_03]: That's right, billion with a B and ordinary people with no background and finance or tech are quietly pulling in 5,000, 10,000, even 20,000 dollars a month from an all from a laptop.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I know it sounds too good to be true, but here's what's actually happening.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_03]: There's a very real pricing gap in the use book market where the same book can sell for dramatically different amounts depending on the platform, and the people who figured out how to find and capitalize on that gap are building real lasting income.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_03]: Here's what makes us completely unlike anything else out there.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_03]: You never touch a single book.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_03]: No inventory in your garage, no post office runs, no logistics, headaches of any kind because the entire operation runs from your browser.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_03]: You spot the opportunity, you make a few clicks, and someone else handles all the fulfillment for you.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_03]: And I want to be clear, this is not a side hustle that earns you a little extra spending money.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_03]: This is a legitimate business model that people are running full time right now.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_03]: Many of them have left behind careers that weren't, frankly, weren't passionate about.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_03]: And they're having the time that they're live doing this.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_03]: That's why I'm personally hosting a free live training where I'm gonna pull back the curtain and show you exactly
- 9:04[SPEAKER_03]: how this works.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_03]: Step by step, no fluff, no filler, just the real mechanics of how to find these opportunities and what to do with them.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_03]: And I've done a deep dive on this and a genuinely cannot wait to share what I found.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_03]: So click the link below or type
- 9:19[SPEAKER_03]: B.K.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_03]: Profit.com slash thoroughly.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_03]: That's B.K.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_03]: Profit.com slash thoroughly in your browser or scan the QR code on your screen to reserve your free spot right now.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_03]: Gang, you do not want to miss this one.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to get a house where it's for the pope.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: Hope you want to fix the Catholic church.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm saying this is a life-long Catholic.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: I'll bathe tightscrack.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_00]: First community is a confirmation of Catholic.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: He ought to fix the Catholic Church in the country on his work and lead border enforcement to us.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_00]: He wants to attack us from securing our border.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_00]: He's got a wall around the Vatican, doesn't he?
- 9:56[SPEAKER_00]: Not.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: So he's got a wall around the Vatican, people in himself, but we can't have a wrong line in the United States.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: So I wish he stick to the Catholic Church and fix that and lead border enforcement to us.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's Tom Home, and again, bringing fire.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_03]: He's pointing out.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_03]: one of the most inconvenient truths imaginable, the Vatican, as I've seen with my own eyes, is surrounded by an impenetrable wall.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, to guys, do you have any idea the level of security you have to go through to enter into that sovereign nation, smallest one on the planet, right?
- 10:30[SPEAKER_03]: The Vatican built a 39-foot wall that's treated as heritage and history, America builds a border wall,
- 10:39[SPEAKER_03]: and it we're told it's a moral.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry you can't have it both ways.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_03]: You cannot live in a world in sovereign city state and then lecture a sovereign nation for wanting a comparable wall.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_03]: The principle is identical.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_03]: The only difference is who's doing the building.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_03]: Again, the key to the border wall is the same principles to why we lock our doors at night.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_03]: We don't lock our doors because we hate the people on the outside.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_03]: We lock our doors because we love the people on the inside.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_03]: Should I say that again?
- 11:13[SPEAKER_03]: We do not lock our doors because we hate the people on the outside and we want to oppress them.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_03]: We lock our doors at night because we love the people on the inside.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_03]: That leads me to what I believe to be one of this pope's most irresponsible criticisms of this administration is criticism of JD Vance invoking the classical concept of
- 11:36[SPEAKER_03]: ordered loves in defending our borders in our immigration policy.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_03]: Again, Pope Leo is not thinking theologically or logically when he torches J.D.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_03]: Vance on this.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_03]: He's thinking politically, politically left us.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_03]: So you may remember J.D.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_03]: Vance is an interview he did with Sean Hannity back in January of last year.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_03]: He invoked this principle of ordered loves when he said this.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_02]: there's this old school and I think it's a very Christian concept by the way that you love your family and then you love your neighbor and then you love your community and then you love your fellow citizens in your own country and then after that you can focus and prioritize the rest of the world.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_03]: Now you would think that that is obvious, right?
- 12:20[SPEAKER_03]: But it's actually a classical Christian doctrine.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_03]: It goes all the way back to the Hellenistic philosophers like Plato and Aristotle, saying at Guston, called it Ordo Amoris, the ordering of our loves.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_03]: You first and foremost, your first and foremost responsibility is to your family, and then to your neighbor, and then to your wider community, and then to your nation.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_03]: And then, then we have our concern, our love for those outside our borders.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_03]: But the utterly imbicillic notion that I'm supposed to love other women in the same way I love my wife or my children is patent nonsense and the Trump administration's border policies are designed to protect those very citizens whose protection he's been entrusted with.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_03]: Trump has been entrusted to protect the people inside the borders of the United States, not the people inside the borders of Guatemala.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_03]: Their government has been entrusted with that.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_03]: That doesn't mean we don't love them.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_03]: That doesn't mean we don't care for them, but again, only a left only a third worldist who sees enforced borders as a sign of oppression could possibly have an issue with that.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_03]: And unfortunately, that's our current Pope, whose public policy advocacy is appear to be drenched in progressive realism.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_03]: And of course, this has been a problem in Catholicism now for decades.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_03]: Liberal modernity has absolutely infested
- 13:56[SPEAKER_03]: the Catholic Church all the way up to the highest levels, especially the papacy where political pronouncements are routinely couched in cultural Marxist terms.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_03]: You'll notice, you'll notice this Pope never calls out the NGOs who actually profit off of open borders.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_03]: He never calls out George Soros or the havoc that's been unleashed by far left activist disguises judges who've allowed murderous thugs back in the streets to prey on innocent victims, often
- 14:27[SPEAKER_03]: The Vatican will never criticize the CCP, they'll never criticize his logic regimes or anything like that.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_03]: In fact, Pope Leo has had more to say more criticism towards Donald Trump than he has for the current Iranian regime.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_03]: Why?
- 14:45[SPEAKER_03]: in the end it's because they're progressive realists.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_03]: The Vatican largely believes that the liberal modernists won the day, so the only political opinions that matter are the ones couched and left as terms.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_03]: It's very, very sad, and it totally misreads a civilization's moment that is at hand that we're living in.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_03]: Bottom line, until this Pope can explain why the Vatican's walls wholly
- 15:09[SPEAKER_03]: But all other walls, the sovereign nations that they want to build are immoral.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_03]: The rest of us are going to keep asking that question because the walls are still standing and so are we.
