First Kings 22 verse 34 says now a certain man drew a bow at
• 0:13
random and struck the king of Israel.

Was this just a lucky shot? No, in God's work there is no
• 0:20
such thing as luck, good or bad. That arrow was directed by God
• 0:24
to bring judgement on the man Ahab, who had troubled Israel
• 0:27
for 22 years. When I hand the control of my
• 0:30
life over to the Lord, I don't need to depend upon luck, but
• 0:34
rather on the one who directs my every step day and night.

God says in Psalm 32, verse eight, I will instruct thee and
• 0:42
teach thee in the way which thou shalt go.

As an old song puts it, I know who holds the future, and He'll
• 0:48
guide me with his hand. With God, things don't just
• 0:52
happen. Everything by him is planned.
