Get ready for free family movie nights this summer at Barker’s Island Festival Park — “Movies on the Island” is back with three blockbuster flicks: The Lorax, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, and Mufasa. Hosted by the Douglas County Drug Prevention Coalition, this event’s theme — “Call of the Wild, Adventure is Calling” — was dreamed up by local teens to create a safe, substance-free zone where families can unwind together under the stars.
