- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's fuck you Friday.
- 0:01[SPEAKER_01]: Fuck you!
- 0:02[SPEAKER_01]: Get ready for some wins!
- 0:05[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to the B. It Tell You See It Podcast, where we talk about taking messy action, knowing that perfect is boring.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm also Logan, Ply's instructor, and fit this business coach.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_01]: I've trained thousands of people around the world, and the number one thing I see stopping people from achieving anything is self-doubt.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_01]: My friends, action brings clarity, and it's the antidote to fear.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_01]: Each week my guests will bring bold, executable, intrinsic, and targeted steps that you can use to put yourself first and be it until you see it.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's a practice, not a perfect, let's get started.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: Hi, happy Friday.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: Have you thought, yeah, Friday.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's September, nineteen.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's episode five, seventy nine.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_01]: How do we get here?
- 0:54[SPEAKER_01]: Holy moly.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_01]: I am so excited.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_01]: I actually just got back from my trips to the UK and it's just like it's good to be home.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_01]: We're only home for a little bit, but it's good to be home.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: And so I just want to say
- 1:06[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for being here.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for listening.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for checking in on these episodes.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_01]: They're short.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_01]: They're sweet.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_01]: They're full of thanks to think about things.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_01]: You didn't know to think about wins from other people that are supposed to that I hope that I intend for them to remind you of wins that you're having in your life all the time because we're all having wins in our life right all the time like yes.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot going on on this stuff that's like not good.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_01]: Like it feels really scary.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_01]: I really know for a fact that has to do with our laser brains, like looking for things that are not going well to make us like to make sure we're like not going to die so that we like, oh, that's like, I can't, I gotta avoid that.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_01]: So bad things have leave more of an impression than good things, but that is why here at the beat pod, we celebrate wins.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_01]: Especially on Fridays.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_01]: I would love for you to have a gratitude journal of some kind, but if it's all gone for our days, that's also fine.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: It's okay.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_01]: We're not here and I have to perfection in this room, right?
- 1:56[SPEAKER_01]: So okay, start off with a little inspiration.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_01]: This is seven quotes that altered my brain chemistry all over again.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_01]: So I really appreciate some of these.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to read them to you.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_01]: The link if you want them will be in the show notes.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_01]: This is from Bruce Lee.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_01]: Pain will leave you when it's done teaching you.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_01]: So I read it again.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_01]: Pain will leave you when it's done teaching you.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_01]: And this therapist who posted this wrote, which is why it pays to listen to its messages and not avoid them.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_01]: So
- 2:23[SPEAKER_01]: them.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_01]: This is from Joe Hudson.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_01]: Joey is the matriarch of emotions and she won't visit you until all of her children have been welcomed.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_01]: And so the therapist wrote all the noise in my brain just stopped.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_01]: All the motions in my heart just felt wildly gorgeously protected.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_01]: The third thing, this is from Perry Nicholsten, at Stop Chasing Pain.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_01]: Every time you feel alive, you're being shown at your medicine.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_01]: And the therapist wrote, because flow is more powerful than any drug.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_01]: And if you felt it, you designed the rest of your life-creating space for it to show up again.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_01]: And again, if you need more of that, listen, episode four, hundreds of gay Hendricks.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, number four, this is from Rumi.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_01]: Our task is not to seek love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_01]: that you have built against it.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that is so deep.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: So there was one because I firmly believe that we don't have a hard time finding love.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_01]: We have a hard time letting it in.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_01]: Number five, this is from Beck's King.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_01]: You're telling me that every time you thought you couldn't do, you couldn't get through something difficult you did.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_01]: And now you're back here thinking you won't succeed.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: Trust your track record, my friend.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you can't argue with that.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_01]: Like, yeah, trust your track record.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_01]: Like you have survived every fail.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: I think Lana Jai, Lana Jai said that on the first interview we ever had with her.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: Like you've survived every failure you've ever had so you can do this.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_01]: You can get through it.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_01]: This is an unknown quote.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_01]: Healing happens in circles, not line.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_01]: You'll return to old places with new eyes.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_01]: I like that.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_01]: Healing happens in circles, not lines.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_01]: They'll return to old places with new eyes.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: So if your face is a therapist route, if you're facing the same test again that you face before, it's not that you've failed.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_01]: It's that you've been given another opportunity to succeed this time with more armor.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_01]: Number seven, this is from Gary Vaynerchuk, so Gary Vee, and he's not always my favorite, but he's not my favorite.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_01]: Like he always has, he says something direct all the time, right?
- 4:24[SPEAKER_01]: Do your thing because I'm telling you when you're ninety you're going to be sad if you didn't do the thing that's in your stomach.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_01]: So I agree with that.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_01]: Like when I was in Brazil, I was like, I should I go doing this thing and I was like, well, I'm older and I tell people about my trip to Brazil and I regret that I didn't do this thing.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: Am I going to say, well, I didn't do that thing.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: And I had the money to do it.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_01]: I had the time to do it.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_01]: So I did it.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_01]: So that that my friends is some things for you to think about.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_01]: Now let's share one, I would love to know if you like these things, by the way, just tell me if you hate it, you know, that's also information.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know the all quit it, but you know, it's always good to have the constructive feedback.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so our win today from Nancy Lawrence.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: Happy FYF Eve.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_01]: My win this week is that my elevate besties, Ainsland and affirmation, and my daughter Miranda, also an elevate.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: Just booked a trip to San Francisco in September.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: We will spend five glorious days together toward the city, and we plan on visiting the Mount's body factory in Sacramento, along the way we plan on reaching out to other elevate members and visit them as well.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_01]: If possible, the beauty of Polaris, the elevate program.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_01]: And yours, Leslie Logan, far surpasses borders and frontiers for me.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_01]: Through elevated gaining new family, a set of sisters, I never dreamed I would find not to mention a beautiful close relationship with my own daughter who has now become an exceptional allies instructor.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_01]: So her daughter is an elevate this year.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, graduates this week, which is really cool.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: And it sounds like, as I read this there in there in San Francisco.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: So anyways, ladies, have the best time.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_01]: I love that city.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: It's so amazing.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: I
- 6:01[SPEAKER_01]: I truly love that people can let other people in, and then have their lives changed.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_01]: And shared experiences of the things you can never take away from someone.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_01]: So it's great to text a friend, it's great to call a friend.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_01]: But you also gotta do the things with friends.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_01]: You gotta do them, and I know it takes money, and I know it takes time, and sometimes you don't have those things.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_01]: But if the person lives in your city, then it can be free to just go for a walk in the park.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: You, the shared experiences matter.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_01]: So ladies, thank you for sharing this, Nancy, especially because not only are you inspiring us at like,
- 6:32[SPEAKER_01]: Dedication and investing in yourself is a win, but also like so is a win of just planning a five day trip with your friends, right?
- 6:39[SPEAKER_01]: And like going places together.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_01]: That's a win.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_01]: Planning a trip is a win.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_01]: So anyways, thank you for that.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, my win.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: We are wrapping up our fifth round of elevate.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_01]: This is the first
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: So now the first year we've had two rounds.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's the first year we've graduated two rounds at the same time.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_01]: And because I did a year where they overlapped and that just doesn't work with my schedule.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: But you know, the win was that we tried it and we figured out what we liked and we didn't like about it.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: And this year we ran two rounds at the same time.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to do that one more time next year.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: And then we're we are using next year to kind of change the program a little bit so that we can accept the people that want to be in it.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_01]: And make sure they get the same, they get the best results.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_01]: But my win in celebrating the closure of elevate ground five and graduating all these amazing people.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_01]: Is that like, they taught me as much as I taught them.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: I hope, you know, even though I'm the, at the expert they're coming to to invest in their Pilates teaching and the education and to become an amazing teacher, it is so incredibly rewarding for me to sit there and reflect on the questions that they're asking and the things that they're being challenged by and really understand like
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, how, how can I help them, but how can they help themselves?
- 7:51[SPEAKER_01]: And this group is just so fabulous and so amazing.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_01]: And they're from all over the world.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, their ever group is, every ever group is.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_01]: We had people from twenty years old to in their late sixties.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_01]: We had people who are brand new to teaching to people who are getting close to retirement and every single one of them added something to to this experience and the win is just that like we got to take it all in in a non-overwhelming way.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_01]: And I want to celebrate my team at this point because I cannot ever do elevate alone.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_01]: I want to celebrate the elevate grads who supported this.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: And we had so many elevate grads helped me with the weekends auditing to assist me so that I can provide this information and have a great experience for each of these people.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_01]: And I celebrate all of you by my team and also my husband and my family out here because people come out to our house and we often need help.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_01]: You know, so I had friends who loan me equipment so that I could do this.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_01]: So I just think that like
- 8:49[SPEAKER_01]: Their graduation isn't much a win for them as it is a win for me and my team because we get to be part of this.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_01]: And Nancy's win just really inspired me celebrating this in this moment because Nancy and Anze and Jennifer graduated a year ago.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: and just seeing how they've connected continuously after they graduated and what they've done with their training, just reminds me of why this exists.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_01]: And I think we have to celebrate the things we do, even if it's really the win as theirs, because, you know, if you're holding space for people to evolve and change and become more of themselves, like, you gotta take care of you.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_01]: And I so did my team.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_01]: I made sure that I was fueled and fulfilled.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_01]: And my cup was filled and I had time off before and after so that I could really take all this then and be present and to and celebrate a win of nine months of putting this together and making it so magical that I want to do it again.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I can't wait.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_01]: We'll do it in January.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_01]: So anyways, that's my win.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_01]: You can have it.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_01]: There's just so many different wins you can have in this world.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_01]: So thank you for that ladies and you can send your wins and to be a pod.com slash questions.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_01]: And finally, your affirmation to repeat with me is
- 10:02[SPEAKER_01]: I look forward to tomorrow and the opportunities that await me.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_01]: I look forward to tomorrow and the opportunities that await me.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_01]: I look forward to tomorrow and the opportunities that await me.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_01]: I look forward to that for you, too.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_01]: And for me, until next time, be a tastier.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_01]: That's all I got for this episode of The Beat Tell You See A Podcast.
