- 1:34Speaker 2: all whizz So, yeah, it's too bad, but what did
- 1:38Speaker 2: you expect? It's a podcast call twenty five whistles, twine,
- 1:45Speaker 2: Are you.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Gonna do it?
- 1:46Speaker 4: Let's sit together?
- 1:49Speaker 1: God?
- 1:49Speaker 3: You got me so though?
- 1:53Speaker 1: What's up? So a couple of things. Pe Rose died,
- 1:57Speaker 1: but only after de Kembe Mutamo died, which I got
- 2:00Speaker 1: a friend. Yesterday's friend sent me a it doesn't matter,
- 2:04Speaker 1: but he's an idiot, and he goes, I got that.
- 2:05Speaker 1: He said, I think my card's worth more now, and
- 2:07Speaker 1: he sent me an autographed to Cambaboo Tumbo card and
- 2:09Speaker 1: I was like, what do you mean? I didn't know
- 2:11Speaker 1: he died. I don't know way how from work, and
- 2:14Speaker 1: he said he died, And I was like, well, that's
- 2:15Speaker 1: a weird way to tell me. Way I would have
- 2:18Speaker 1: also seen once I got home, but I don't really
- 2:19Speaker 1: like a Twitter on my phone.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Does the value drive go up? Like as soon as
- 2:23Speaker 4: somebody dies like that?
- 2:24Speaker 1: It's funny that that's what you would take for me
- 2:25Speaker 1: telling you that, Yeah, I mean I didn't. Mostly I
- 2:27Speaker 1: think that's a pretty weird way to say that.
- 2:29Speaker 4: I mean, rest in peace first, yes, and then yeah, wow.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I don't know. Once somebody dies, they obviously can sign
- 2:36Speaker 1: no more so since they can't sign anymore. And and
- 2:42Speaker 1: when someone dies, there's a brief pop and then it
- 2:45Speaker 1: kind of comes back down. But then the overall signatures
- 2:49Speaker 1: are worth a little more because there are no more
- 2:51Speaker 1: being signed. Like Kobe stuff is very valuable, not just
- 2:53Speaker 1: because he's Kobe, because he died and he can't sign anymore.
- 2:56Speaker 1: But yeah, then Pete rose, well, so let me get
- 2:59Speaker 1: to that's all he did, right, but to kembe mutumble. First,
- 3:02Speaker 1: he died a brain cancer at fifty eight.
- 3:03Speaker 4: Wow, so young.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Wildly, I just think of him waving that finger when
- 3:08Speaker 1: they were the eight seed. I remember been winning. I
- 3:12Speaker 1: think being the first eight to beat a one. I
- 3:14Speaker 1: found my memories correct. But yeah. He was also a
- 3:18Speaker 1: huge advocate for a lot of things, but like Special Olympics,
- 3:23Speaker 1: CDC Foundation, the d Kamba Mutumble Foundation of nineteen ninety
- 3:26Speaker 1: seven that focuses on health, education, quality of life. He
- 3:29Speaker 1: spoke nine languages. Wow, I know read, you can barely
- 3:33Speaker 1: do one. Pete Rose also died at age eighty three.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Pete Rose, who played most of his baseball career with
- 3:43Speaker 1: the Cincinnati Reds, died at eighty three. He was a
- 3:45Speaker 1: seventeen time All Star.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Wow.
- 3:47Speaker 1: He won three World Series championships, was named both National
- 3:49Speaker 1: and World Series MVP, two Gold Glove Awards. With all
- 3:52Speaker 1: of that, what he's mostly known for is gambling on baseball, Yeah,
- 3:55Speaker 1: which is unfornfortunately Yeah, no, he did it to himself. No,
- 3:58Speaker 1: I get it, But unfortunately for him, that's all for him.
- 4:02Speaker 1: He also bet on his own team. It doesn't matter.
- 4:04Speaker 1: You can't gamble. You can't gamble on baseball. Off you're
- 4:06Speaker 1: a manager, but you can't gamble on your own team.
- 4:08Speaker 5: Does it matter that he was If he was gambling
- 4:11Speaker 5: only for them to win, that's a little different.
- 4:13Speaker 1: It's also inside intended. It's also inside baseball, like you know, yeah,
- 4:20Speaker 1: like you can change what you're doing in order to
- 4:24Speaker 1: get an advantage for like a Friday game instead of
- 4:27Speaker 1: if you were going to pitch your race on a Sat.
- 4:29Speaker 1: There are different things you could do to manipulate. So no, no,
- 4:33Speaker 1: and I think he will get in the Hall of
- 4:34Speaker 1: Fame now that he has died, because again he's one
- 4:37Speaker 1: of the best ever. Did you know he never drank ever, No,
- 4:40Speaker 1: just gambled like me drank.
- 4:41Speaker 4: It's exactly like you. He was a great baseball player.
- 4:46Speaker 1: You know, some people would say I was MVP of
- 4:48Speaker 1: the Celebrity All Stars softball games.
- 4:50Speaker 4: I forgot about that.
- 4:50Speaker 1: I was still in my peak of in my forties
- 4:52Speaker 1: though you know he was game was over by then.
- 4:54Speaker 1: But yeah, he signed stuff every day all the time.
- 4:58Speaker 1: I just sold. We just sold a Pete Rose jersey.
- 5:00Speaker 1: M made a Pete Rose sign jersey.
- 5:01Speaker 5: I mean, I feel like every time I went to
- 5:03Speaker 5: Vegas there was a Pete Rose signing going on that
- 5:05Speaker 5: weekend or.
- 5:07Speaker 1: He lived out there, and that's what he did. Yeah,
- 5:09Speaker 1: to make money. Major League Baseball announceds are gonna go back,
- 5:12Speaker 1: which I think is great to letting the players wear
- 5:15Speaker 1: their team's uniform in the All Star Game. I didn't
- 5:18Speaker 1: like the universal All Star uniform, mostly because when I
- 5:20Speaker 1: was a kid, Bo Jackson wore the Royals. Now it
- 5:23Speaker 1: was either white or it was dark, depending on if
- 5:25Speaker 1: they were the home or away team, but you just
- 5:28Speaker 1: saw what team they were, And some of the All
- 5:29Speaker 1: Stars didn't even who they were, so I needed to
- 5:30Speaker 1: know what team they were on.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, that helped.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:32Speaker 1: And also even if I did know who they were
- 5:34Speaker 1: from their name and see them a little bit, They're
- 5:37Speaker 1: not like basketball football players, where baseball are so popular
- 5:41Speaker 1: that you just know them by their face. Like if
- 5:43Speaker 1: Pete Alonzo walked in the room, I'd be like, man,
- 5:45Speaker 1: I know you from somewhere the polar Bear, and I
- 5:47Speaker 1: don't think I would know because he's not His face
- 5:49Speaker 1: is not everywhere. Yeah, but I do like that they're
- 5:52Speaker 1: doing that. And maybe it's just because that's what they
- 5:53Speaker 1: did because back in the day when the All Star
- 5:55Speaker 1: Game happened, it was awesome. Like I would wait, I'd
- 5:58Speaker 1: be like, it's crazy All Star games to because it
- 6:00Speaker 1: was before interleague play, so in L and AL didn't
- 6:03Speaker 1: play each other, and so they played each other and
- 6:06Speaker 1: you're like, this is the craziest thing until the World Series.
- 6:09Speaker 1: They didn't And so, yeah, those are three stories aren't
- 6:13Speaker 1: football related that I kind of wanted to get to here.
- 6:15Speaker 1: We're also we're gonna start with our Andrew Whitworth interview.
- 6:19Speaker 4: He was great, Like, oh yeah, he's awesome.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I knew he'd be good. It was so fun to
- 6:23Speaker 1: like hang out and talk with. So here's our talk
- 6:26Speaker 1: with former NFL offensive lineman Andrew Wentworth.
- 6:28Speaker 5: Whitworth. Whitworth, Whitworth. We had a child psychologist named Wentworth. Yeah,
- 6:34Speaker 5: I'm thinking of J. G.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Whitworth. No, Andrew Whitworth, who, By the way, when he
- 6:40Speaker 1: was playing, there always like he's the oldest ever. He's
- 6:42Speaker 1: the oldest office line.
- 6:44Speaker 5: He looks old. When he was playing, he looked like
- 6:46Speaker 5: he was really old.
- 6:47Speaker 1: His skin looks young. The only thing looks old on
- 6:50Speaker 1: him is his gray beard. He just gray's earlier because
- 6:53Speaker 1: he's not we're talking with him. He's not an old
- 6:55Speaker 1: looking guy. He played in the league for fifteen years
- 6:58Speaker 1: as a Beast, he won a Super Bowl with the Rams,
- 7:00Speaker 1: time Pro Bowler National Championship at LSU in two thousand
- 7:02Speaker 1: and three. You can catch him analyzing Thursday at Football
- 7:05Speaker 1: for Amazon Prime. Here he is Andrew Whitworth. Andrew, thanks
- 7:09Speaker 1: for the time, man, of course. Dude, Hey, do your
- 7:11Speaker 1: friends call you Andrew? Or like, what are your friends
- 7:15Speaker 1: call It's such a formal, cool name with.
- 7:18Speaker 3: They're come me with big with with Andrew. It's all
- 7:22Speaker 3: over the place.
- 7:23Speaker 1: When did you get big as a kid? When were
- 7:24Speaker 1: you bigger than everybody else?
- 7:26Speaker 3: I was always big, so I was always kind of
- 7:28Speaker 3: known as big with.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Did you play offensive line in like sixth grade?
- 7:34Speaker 3: No, I was always like really tall. I was actually
- 7:36Speaker 3: a basketball player and played tight end defensive end in football,
- 7:42Speaker 3: but I was I played basketball. It was like a
- 7:43Speaker 3: pitcher in baseball. I was really tall and lean when
- 7:47Speaker 3: I was in school, so I didn't really gain a
- 7:48Speaker 3: lot of weight till I was in college. As far
- 7:50Speaker 3: as getting like lineman's size.
- 7:52Speaker 1: When you were recruited before you went to LSU, did
- 7:54Speaker 1: they recruit you as an offensive lineman or could you
- 7:56Speaker 1: have kind of picked which line you wanted to be on?
- 7:58Speaker 3: You know, that's one of the reasons I it up there.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Nick Saban was the only guy that was honest with me.
- 8:03Speaker 3: You know, everybody else will slide to me and told
- 8:05Speaker 3: me I was gonna play tight end and catch footballs. No,
- 8:08Speaker 3: they did. Everybody said I was gonna be a tight end.
- 8:10Speaker 3: And then Nick Saban was like, you know what, I
- 8:12Speaker 3: could tell you to be a tight end here, but
- 8:14Speaker 3: or you could move to offensive line and be a
- 8:17Speaker 3: left tackle for like twenty years if you'd like to
- 8:19Speaker 3: do that.
- 8:19Speaker 1: And well, he was right, what's Saban like recruiting? Because
- 8:23Speaker 1: he's supposed to be the best, right.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean he's unbelievable. I mean, think you see
- 8:28Speaker 3: it now. I think more people are going to probably
- 8:30Speaker 3: get a glimpse into who Saban is and what he's
- 8:33Speaker 3: like watching him work on game day because probably the
- 8:37Speaker 3: guy that you always saw is so intense and you know,
- 8:39Speaker 3: people thought, you know, mean or harsh at times. The
- 8:43Speaker 3: reality is he knows exactly how to get what he
- 8:45Speaker 3: wants out of people and whatever that takes. He's a
- 8:49Speaker 3: master motivator and a person who can really speak things
- 8:53Speaker 3: into exactly what he wants out of you out of
- 8:55Speaker 3: his process and all the things he talks about. So
- 8:57Speaker 3: he's just unbelievable at it. Man. He's really good that
- 9:00Speaker 3: being articulate exactly what he needs from you and what
- 9:02Speaker 3: his vision is for things, and he can really mold
- 9:05Speaker 3: himself into whoever he needs to be in a conversation
- 9:09Speaker 3: to be able to get that out of you.
- 9:11Speaker 1: I have about fourteen people on my staff and I
- 9:13Speaker 1: have to I will say coach, but have to lead
- 9:16Speaker 1: in different ways, like different personalities require different leadership styles.
- 9:21Speaker 1: And I wonder where the coach like Nick Saban, is
- 9:23Speaker 1: he one size fits all or is he different depending
- 9:27Speaker 1: on the kind of person player that he's leading.
- 9:30Speaker 3: I think he's different depending on who he's leading. I
- 9:32Speaker 3: think that just watching him. I think, you know, I
- 9:34Speaker 3: watched him throughout my career at LSU. His ability really
- 9:39Speaker 3: to know exactly how he can lead someone. Now, that's
- 9:42Speaker 3: different to me than what are the standards of our
- 9:45Speaker 3: culture and what are the standards of how we do
- 9:48Speaker 3: everything we do now? He is the ultimate standard upholder
- 9:51Speaker 3: and I was somebody. That's what my biggest influence I
- 9:54Speaker 3: took from him. Whatever the standard was at a place set,
- 9:57Speaker 3: I do not play around with that and that is
- 9:59Speaker 3: not goociable ever, and he was that way. But when
- 10:03Speaker 3: it comes to relationships, he knew whether it was a guy.
- 10:06Speaker 3: I remember this when I was at LSU. One of
- 10:07Speaker 3: thinks he would do. He had a car that he
- 10:09Speaker 3: drove because our facility was away from the actual academic
- 10:12Speaker 3: building and athletic building that he had his office. He
- 10:14Speaker 3: would drive his car to practice and everyone else rode
- 10:17Speaker 3: the bus. After the practice, he would always grab a
- 10:20Speaker 3: guy or two and say, hey, right back with me
- 10:23Speaker 3: to the facility. And that was his way of just
- 10:25Speaker 3: kind of having an intimate moment with you. Maybe you're
- 10:27Speaker 3: a guy that needs a little love, maybe you're a
- 10:29Speaker 3: guy that needs a little challenging. Whatever it was that
- 10:32Speaker 3: he felt that guy needed, that was kind of the
- 10:34Speaker 3: tone of that conversation with him. And he was really
- 10:36Speaker 3: good at that. And then he also knew when it's
- 10:39Speaker 3: time to challenge somebody or when it's time to like
- 10:41Speaker 3: put somebody on blast and say, all right, this guy
- 10:44Speaker 3: needs it, he can handle it. He would put the
- 10:47Speaker 3: He would do that in a meeting, he challenged you
- 10:49Speaker 3: in front of everybody, because that was the setting that
- 10:52Speaker 3: that would be okay. And he's really good at the
- 10:55Speaker 3: sports psychology of understanding how you challenge people you work with,
- 10:59Speaker 3: how you bring the best out of people, and what
- 11:01Speaker 3: really you know people are going to respond to the most.
- 11:04Speaker 1: You bring up an interesting point where we are feeling
- 11:07Speaker 1: like we're getting to know Nick Saban a little better,
- 11:08Speaker 1: especially on watching college game day. Same thing with Belichick, right,
- 11:11Speaker 1: because those two guys, they stand up with a podium
- 11:13Speaker 1: and it's like they're going to say like six words.
- 11:15Speaker 1: They may chastise you a little bit, but now like
- 11:18Speaker 1: they're both kind of likable. And I don't know if
- 11:20Speaker 1: it's the juxtaposition of being really unlikable and now they're
- 11:23Speaker 1: mildly likable or if I just like them now, but
- 11:26Speaker 1: it's pretty cool to see both of them actually actually
- 11:28Speaker 1: be real humans.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Yeah, and I think you have to understand. I think
- 11:31Speaker 3: for me, as someone who knew Nick and then Bill
- 11:34Speaker 3: used to come sometimes to LSU because of obviously their relationship,
- 11:38Speaker 3: understanding both of them, I always found it funny the
- 11:41Speaker 3: whole time because I just know they know exactly what
- 11:45Speaker 3: they're doing, and it's not you know, this isn't irrational,
- 11:49Speaker 3: this isn't like and you're like, oh man, I'm out
- 11:51Speaker 3: of control. This is either a day where Nick Saban
- 11:55Speaker 3: has decided I'm going to send messages through this press
- 11:58Speaker 3: conference to my players, to the people who are watching
- 12:01Speaker 3: the University of Alabama or LSU and want these answers.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Here's my message, you know today in this press conference
- 12:07Speaker 3: for Bill, it was there will be no message. The
- 12:10Speaker 3: only message I ever need to give will be inside
- 12:13Speaker 3: my locker room and inside my meeting rooms. I have
- 12:15Speaker 3: no need to give a message. And so you know
- 12:18Speaker 3: that they are never really out of control. They are
- 12:21Speaker 3: doing exactly what they want to do when they want
- 12:24Speaker 3: to do it. Nick was a master at that, and
- 12:26Speaker 3: that's part of what I mean. You'd be at a practice,
- 12:28Speaker 3: he'd walk by you. Once I became really close to him,
- 12:30Speaker 3: and I was an older player, and he'd be like, hey,
- 12:32Speaker 3: watch this, and he'd go over there and he challenged
- 12:35Speaker 3: some coach or he challenged some player, and then he'd
- 12:38Speaker 3: come by with a little snicker and a little smile,
- 12:41Speaker 3: like that little grin on and you knew, like, man,
- 12:43Speaker 3: he knows exactly what he's doing at all times, even
- 12:47Speaker 3: though it may be perceived a different way. He was
- 12:50Speaker 3: really rare at that ability. But get the best out
- 12:52Speaker 3: of people.
- 12:53Speaker 1: I think you've transitioned as a broadcaster, like you're awesome
- 12:57Speaker 1: on Thursday Night football, like as far as like the
- 12:59Speaker 1: group and the whole groups up there, like you're warm.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Obviously you know what you're talking about. Whether there's a
- 13:03Speaker 1: difference in knowing what you're talking about and actually talking
- 13:05Speaker 1: about it where people can understand it. I think you've
- 13:07Speaker 1: become extremely relatable as somebody who's really unrelatable because you're
- 13:11Speaker 1: like an awesome athlete. Do you feel like now you're
- 13:14Speaker 1: kind of in the pocket because I feel like you're
- 13:16Speaker 1: killing it at this point.
- 13:17Speaker 3: It's a lot of fun. I don't think I ever
- 13:19Speaker 3: thought I would enjoy it this much. I mean, being
- 13:21Speaker 3: an offensive lineman. When I got in the league in
- 13:22Speaker 3: two thousand and six, your offensive line coach started meetings
- 13:26Speaker 3: with like, hey, if one of you guys speaks to
- 13:29Speaker 3: the media this week, like you're going to have punishment,
- 13:31Speaker 3: or you're gonna put money in a pot, or we're
- 13:33Speaker 3: going to criticize you do never talk to the media.
- 13:37Speaker 3: So when you're an offensive lineman, it was like, we're
- 13:39Speaker 3: not allowed to talk to the media. And then by
- 13:41Speaker 3: the end of my career, it's like you got guys
- 13:43Speaker 3: on shows and podcasts all the stuff. I'm like, man,
- 13:45Speaker 3: what is going on? So I never really like thought
- 13:48Speaker 3: about being part of the media, but throughout my career,
- 13:51Speaker 3: people would always say you really should when you got done,
- 13:55Speaker 3: and I tried it and I've loved it. It's a
- 13:57Speaker 3: whole new locker room for me. It's not just you know,
- 13:59Speaker 3: you know, this is not just the people you know
- 14:02Speaker 3: that are outside and you're looking at on the camera.
- 14:04Speaker 3: I mean all the people behind the camera, just the crew,
- 14:07Speaker 3: the group we travel with every week. I couldn't love
- 14:10Speaker 3: them all more, all our producers and staff, and just
- 14:13Speaker 3: the people that are our village of people that we
- 14:15Speaker 3: take on the road every week. It's a blast. Man,
- 14:17Speaker 3: It's a whole new locker room for me. When you
- 14:19Speaker 3: leave the game of football or any sport for that matter,
- 14:22Speaker 3: you hear guys struggle with that. Right you go from
- 14:24Speaker 3: this locker room and circle that you're in for so long,
- 14:28Speaker 3: you don't have one anymore. And for me, it's been
- 14:30Speaker 3: an awesome transition into that and then getting on the
- 14:32Speaker 3: camera and just talking about a game I love that's
- 14:34Speaker 3: changed my life that people across this entire country love.
- 14:39Speaker 3: I mean, it's a blast. It's fun. I mean, what
- 14:41Speaker 3: are we talking about? This is awesome.
- 14:43Speaker 1: So I have two Bengals question, one about when you played,
- 14:46Speaker 1: but then I want to roll into the Bengals. Now
- 14:49Speaker 1: they've won one game, and I'm going to ask about
- 14:51Speaker 1: their defense in a second, but I do want to
- 14:52Speaker 1: talk about when you played there, and you know, growing
- 14:55Speaker 1: up as a massive Boomera sizing fan, I was a
- 14:56Speaker 1: left handed quarterback and that was like him, and then
- 14:59Speaker 1: it became Steve Young because I just wanted somebody that
- 15:01Speaker 1: was like me, except I wasn't good. But playing for
- 15:04Speaker 1: the Bengals, you know, it's constantly like they don't have
- 15:07Speaker 1: money or the owners. All of his money is invested
- 15:10Speaker 1: into the team, so he's not like a billionaire that
- 15:12Speaker 1: has so their practice facilities sucked. So what was it
- 15:16Speaker 1: like playing for the Bengals for ten years? And did
- 15:18Speaker 1: you feel, in comparison to other friends who were playing
- 15:20Speaker 1: in the league, you did not have the resources they had.
- 15:23Speaker 3: I mean it was a struggle at first. I don't
- 15:25Speaker 3: know a lot to you at first. It was one
- 15:27Speaker 3: of those things where coming from I played in an
- 15:30Speaker 3: awesome program in Louisiana. We were fifty eight and two
- 15:33Speaker 3: when I was in high school. We won three state
- 15:35Speaker 3: championships in my four years in school. And then going
- 15:39Speaker 3: to LSU and being a part of Nick Saban's first
- 15:41Speaker 3: run at you know, at major SEC university and really
- 15:45Speaker 3: the run he went on, you know to become the
- 15:47Speaker 3: Dolphins coach and then Bama's coach and won all the
- 15:49Speaker 3: championships and we won a national championship. We were the
- 15:51Speaker 3: winningest four year group, you know in LSU's history at
- 15:55Speaker 3: that time. To come to Cincinnati where at that time
- 15:58Speaker 3: I think they'd had one, you know, layoff successful division
- 16:01Speaker 3: championship winning season in like twenty years, it was different,
- 16:07Speaker 3: you know, because I thought Marlon Lewis was doing a
- 16:09Speaker 3: heck of a job, but it was just an organization
- 16:11Speaker 3: that was so far behind the times that my first
- 16:15Speaker 3: year and six we were competitive, and then seven o
- 16:17Speaker 3: eight it started to fall off, and it got to
- 16:19Speaker 3: a point in eight where I was just so frustrated
- 16:22Speaker 3: with all of it. It's like, yeah, our food situation
- 16:25Speaker 3: isn't great, Like we don't have the nicest cafeteria set
- 16:28Speaker 3: up ever, we don't have the nicest weight room ever.
- 16:29Speaker 3: All of it's pretty bad. And it's probably pretty low
- 16:32Speaker 3: on the total as far as in the league. It's
- 16:34Speaker 3: it's probably in the bottom five, you know, of any facilities.
- 16:39Speaker 3: But that's really not an excuse to win or lose,
- 16:41Speaker 3: and so you're still frustrated about though. But when you
- 16:44Speaker 3: start to lose and you start to see the locker
- 16:45Speaker 3: room fall off, and guys really attention to detail fall off,
- 16:49Speaker 3: and you have all those things, it really became a struggle.
- 16:53Speaker 3: And so for me, that's really when it turned around
- 16:55Speaker 3: for me, having a moment in O eight where I
- 16:57Speaker 3: kind of put my foot down with some other guys
- 16:59Speaker 3: and we really look at the end of that eight season,
- 17:04Speaker 3: even though we had a bad year, we ended it
- 17:06Speaker 3: in a much better fashion and that led to us
- 17:07Speaker 3: winning the division in OH nine and going to the
- 17:10Speaker 3: playoffs and then really from there on, you know, going
- 17:14Speaker 3: to the playoffs six out of the next seven years,
- 17:15Speaker 3: and so I think for us it's really it was
- 17:18Speaker 3: a struggle, but it was one of those things that, hey,
- 17:20Speaker 3: at some point you got to put your foot in
- 17:21Speaker 3: the ground and make it better and say, you know what,
- 17:23Speaker 3: besides how they spend money and how they do things,
- 17:26Speaker 3: we're still in control of the product on the field,
- 17:28Speaker 3: and we've got to find a way to be better.
- 17:29Speaker 3: And Cincinnati will always only be successful when they draft well,
- 17:33Speaker 3: and that's just the truth. They're not going to put
- 17:34Speaker 3: a lot of resources into the other things and so
- 17:37Speaker 3: that will dictate their success level.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Let's talk about the Bengals this year. They finally win
- 17:43Speaker 1: the defense seems to be the struggle. Now, your thoughts
- 17:48Speaker 1: on the Bengals season so far? And they're in a
- 17:50Speaker 1: division where I feel like they can still actually win
- 17:51Speaker 1: the division. I mean Pittsburgh is leading now, I don't
- 17:55Speaker 1: feel like Pittsburgh has long to be that number one
- 17:57Speaker 1: spot there. How do you feel about the Bengals this
- 17:59Speaker 1: year and is it a defensive deficiency?
- 18:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's been a struggle, you know what.
- 18:04Speaker 3: I think going into the year, I felt better about
- 18:07Speaker 3: how they'd be on secondary than maybe being able to
- 18:09Speaker 3: stop the run, and then kind of everything is kind
- 18:13Speaker 3: of falling apart because of that. I think it's one
- 18:14Speaker 3: of those things that once you kind of get in
- 18:16Speaker 3: that world where teams feel like there's a place they
- 18:18Speaker 3: can expose you, then you start to overcompensate and then
- 18:21Speaker 3: all of it starts to be a struggle. Right, And
- 18:23Speaker 3: so I think for them defensively this year, you look
- 18:26Speaker 3: at it up front, I mean, Trey Henderson is kind
- 18:28Speaker 3: of a one man show. I mean, his ability to
- 18:30Speaker 3: create pressure and impact the quarterback is really probably all
- 18:34Speaker 3: teams think about when they go into the week, and
- 18:36Speaker 3: they say, hey, as long as we can keep him
- 18:37Speaker 3: from hitting the quarterback or at least limit it some
- 18:40Speaker 3: the rest of it, we should be successful as far
- 18:43Speaker 3: as you know when you talk about winning those upfront battles,
- 18:45Speaker 3: and so I think it's unfortunate they need another guy
- 18:48Speaker 3: up there with him. For sure. They're not going to
- 18:51Speaker 3: do it by spending money in free agencies. That's not
- 18:53Speaker 3: their thing. So it's going to have to be through
- 18:56Speaker 3: the draft. And I think the really tough part for
- 18:59Speaker 3: them that no one's going to want to hear, is
- 19:01Speaker 3: that they're going to probably have to think about one
- 19:03Speaker 3: of these receivers. He's got to get traded so they
- 19:05Speaker 3: can get some value and probably trade you'd be able
- 19:09Speaker 3: to get picks to be able to upgrade their team.
- 19:11Speaker 3: And it'd be nice to have two dominant receivers. But
- 19:14Speaker 3: you know what, it doesn't help you any if you
- 19:16Speaker 3: can't stop anybody on defense. So they've got to get
- 19:19Speaker 3: this team better. So they've got to find ways to
- 19:20Speaker 3: get trade value picks and be able to draft, because
- 19:24Speaker 3: that's what did take such success. You look at any
- 19:26Speaker 3: Cincinnati Bengal run in history where they've had a winning
- 19:29Speaker 3: season or a winning team for multiple years. It's draft related,
- 19:33Speaker 3: and so they've got to get those draft picks.
- 19:35Speaker 1: I mean, I can't imagine it's just me them trading
- 19:37Speaker 1: Jamaar Chase, but you also won't sign a new contract.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I mean is would they trade Jamar Chase?
- 19:44Speaker 3: I mean I could see T Higgins possibly, you know
- 19:46Speaker 3: T Higgins or Jemar I mean they got they got
- 19:48Speaker 3: to pick one. I mean, both of them are really
- 19:50Speaker 3: good football players, both of them. There's a bunch of
- 19:52Speaker 3: teams in the league. They would take them right this second.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Can Cincinnati turned around and win some games and get
- 19:58Speaker 3: themselves competitive this year? Sure, they've shown it. They've shown
- 20:00Speaker 3: the ability that the one positive you have there from
- 20:03Speaker 3: how they've started this season, the positive outlook is they
- 20:06Speaker 3: have shown the ability to go on absolute crazy runs
- 20:09Speaker 3: and win a lot of football games. I don't know
- 20:11Speaker 3: if they've done it with this defense being where it's
- 20:14Speaker 3: been right now, and so I think that's going to
- 20:16Speaker 3: be the tough part. And I know it's got to
- 20:17Speaker 3: be frustrating for Lou and Rumo, who's done a great
- 20:20Speaker 3: job there, just that they can't quite get the pieces
- 20:23Speaker 3: they need to be as competitive as they want to be.
- 20:25Speaker 1: What away Kansas City with she Rice looks like maybe
- 20:28Speaker 1: an ACL injury going to be out for a while.
- 20:31Speaker 1: They have what Xavier, that's it. They have one rookie
- 20:34Speaker 1: receiver who they said just could run in a straight line,
- 20:37Speaker 1: although he did have he run a few routes this
- 20:38Speaker 1: last week. And they've been winning ugly. I mean, what
- 20:42Speaker 1: is the Chiefs is their ceiling? Can they win the
- 20:44Speaker 1: Super Bowl again? If they don't pick anybody else up.
- 20:48Speaker 3: One thing I've learned over the last couple of years,
- 20:50Speaker 3: you will not get me to say it's impossible for
- 20:52Speaker 3: them to win the super Bowl or do anything, because
- 20:54Speaker 3: all we do is say, man, they're struggling here, they're
- 20:57Speaker 3: struggling there. It doesn't look like a super Bowl team.
- 20:59Speaker 3: And then they make it back to the super Bowl.
- 21:01Speaker 3: So I'm not going to say they can't make it there.
- 21:03Speaker 3: Can they win it? I don't know, but I think
- 21:06Speaker 3: that you're going to see him make a move. I mean,
- 21:07Speaker 3: I think they have to this or she rice injury
- 21:10Speaker 3: is bad enough. I mean got to feel like they
- 21:13Speaker 3: make a trade of some kind to bring in another
- 21:15Speaker 3: guy because you know, right now, I know that you
- 21:18Speaker 3: know they expected it was the torn acl and they're
- 21:20Speaker 3: still doing some more testing, but gosh, I mean, it
- 21:23Speaker 3: just feels like they've got to get another weapon because
- 21:25Speaker 3: it's too good of a football team to really let
- 21:27Speaker 3: this window miss. And then also you're talking about history,
- 21:30Speaker 3: a chance to threepeat. I think it's worth the trade
- 21:34Speaker 3: in this era.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Last night golf didn't miss a single throw, and that's
- 21:38Speaker 1: pretty amazing. You ever play offensive line for a guy
- 21:41Speaker 1: that's in the freaking zone and you're just like, this
- 21:43Speaker 1: is a wild day.
- 21:46Speaker 3: I played offensive line for a couple guys in the zone,
- 21:48Speaker 3: Matthew Stafford, Carson Palmer, I mean, Andy Dalton had some
- 21:50Speaker 3: good runs. Jared Goff obviously in LA as well. It
- 21:54Speaker 3: made me think of we played the Minnesota Vikings on
- 21:57Speaker 3: Thursday Night football in twenty eighteen with Jared Gothic quarterback,
- 22:01Speaker 3: and he was in the zone that night too, and
- 22:03Speaker 3: we got up pretty big on those guys very quickly.
- 22:06Speaker 3: And when he gets going, man, the guy can throw
- 22:09Speaker 3: the football. So if you give him time, you let
- 22:11Speaker 3: him play within the process and rhythm of a play man,
- 22:15Speaker 3: he can throw the football. And I always say this
- 22:17Speaker 3: man guy when he gets hot, it's like a golfer
- 22:20Speaker 3: who just can't miss a shot. And he got hot
- 22:22Speaker 3: last night and he stayed hot. And man, this Detroit
- 22:25Speaker 3: Lions team again, like they continue to be on those
- 22:27Speaker 3: teams that you got to say at the end, they're
- 22:29Speaker 3: going to be there at that NFC title. Chicks.
- 22:31Speaker 5: Hey, wit, since we're talking about teams here, let's talk
- 22:33Speaker 5: about my Dallas Cowboys. You were just oh boy, you
- 22:36Speaker 5: were just there on Thursday, like, what is going on
- 22:39Speaker 5: with them?
- 22:40Speaker 4: What is happening with them?
- 22:41Speaker 5: I mean when they started the season so that the
- 22:43Speaker 5: first week was so strong and then all of a sudden,
- 22:45Speaker 5: we're like, oh, we've got problems.
- 22:47Speaker 4: What do you see?
- 22:48Speaker 3: Well, I think you know one thing we've we've kind
- 22:50Speaker 3: of learned quickly in this season is I don't know
- 22:52Speaker 3: if Cleveland's the best test of how good teams are
- 22:56Speaker 3: right now. You know, they haven't played very well over there.
- 22:59Speaker 3: And then you know, with Dallas, I think it's interesting
- 23:02Speaker 3: because you know, they continue to tell us all off
- 23:05Speaker 3: season that everyone was crazy for thinking they should have
- 23:07Speaker 3: done more and that they had everything they needed and
- 23:10Speaker 3: they're all in. But there's no proof that they're all in.
- 23:13Speaker 3: And then the whole contract thing. I mean, I just
- 23:15Speaker 3: like we just we talked about culture all the time
- 23:18Speaker 3: in sports and leadership and all these things. But to
- 23:21Speaker 3: think like Dak Prescott and Ceedee Lamb and all these guys,
- 23:25Speaker 3: like guys, it's not even in question whether they're going
- 23:28Speaker 3: to be a part of the roster for the next
- 23:29Speaker 3: few years. It's got to happen. So like, just get
- 23:32Speaker 3: the contract done and don't send it into training camp
- 23:36Speaker 3: and almost the regular season of all this turmoil within
- 23:39Speaker 3: the team of like, man, is everybody on their last year?
- 23:42Speaker 3: Here they head coaches on his last year, Like what
- 23:45Speaker 3: happens after this year? Once guys start thinking about that,
- 23:48Speaker 3: guess what they're not thinking about the moment they're in
- 23:50Speaker 3: exactly and what they need to do to dominate that
- 23:53Speaker 3: day and be a part of that process and be
- 23:55Speaker 3: about the culture that they're part of, and like, how
- 23:57Speaker 3: do I pour everything I have into us being at
- 23:59Speaker 3: our best? So when you talk about, man the Cowboys
- 24:02Speaker 3: look like they've been a little distracted, Heck yeah they do,
- 24:05Speaker 3: because that's exactly the situation you put them in. And
- 24:07Speaker 3: so I just think from a standpoint of yes, if
- 24:10Speaker 3: the Cowboys drafted well in history, have they been able
- 24:12Speaker 3: to acquire talent and stay really competitive and every year
- 24:16Speaker 3: they're a freaking good football team. I don't think they
- 24:18Speaker 3: handled the last six to seven months with this football
- 24:21Speaker 3: team very well, and I think that's just a fact.
- 24:24Speaker 3: And so right now they're a little undermanned. That's some
- 24:27Speaker 3: spots with some of these injuries. And then also the
- 24:30Speaker 3: reality is they're just not as good as they have
- 24:32Speaker 3: been in the past.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Final three questions, let's stay with the NFC East Eagles,
- 24:36Speaker 1: struggling Giants terrible. It's my ward is not yours? Giants
- 24:40Speaker 1: terrible Cowboys. Who knows the Commanders blacking everyone? Yeah, but
- 24:47Speaker 1: I just just that as the Commanders and the football team,
- 24:49Speaker 1: they've always just been terrible. Now, the Redskins had their wins,
- 24:52Speaker 1: but I just can't associate them with winning, even though
- 24:54Speaker 1: I'm watching Jayda Daniels play, like, will the Commanders win
- 24:58Speaker 1: that division?
- 25:00Speaker 3: You know what, dan Quinn's a pretty special human. But
- 25:02Speaker 3: if they can win that division, that's that's pulling off
- 25:05Speaker 3: a pretty special feed. I don't think anybody had them
- 25:07Speaker 3: even in vicinity of thinking they'd be close to winning
- 25:11Speaker 3: this division. But we say it all the time. Quarterback matters,
- 25:14Speaker 3: and having a really good one in this league right
- 25:18Speaker 3: now seems to be one of the most important things
- 25:20Speaker 3: you can do for your football team, and Jayden Daniels
- 25:22Speaker 3: has done an amazing job. Cliff Kingsbury and him seem
- 25:26Speaker 3: to be a great marriage together. I think it's been
- 25:29Speaker 3: awesome to watch when you see a young guy's talented
- 25:32Speaker 3: like that that comes in just you know, with the
- 25:35Speaker 3: ability to impact the game. It's been fun to watch
- 25:38Speaker 3: this team. I don't know if they can hold up
- 25:40Speaker 3: throughout the year because I feel like they're one of
- 25:42Speaker 3: those teams that they're good, but with a couple of
- 25:44Speaker 3: injuries here or there, it's going to be tough to
- 25:46Speaker 3: see this roster make it through and win the NFC East.
- 25:48Speaker 3: But what a heck of a start and a cool
- 25:51Speaker 3: way to see Jade Daniels a guy I watched it
- 25:53Speaker 3: LSU have a lot of success, you know what, come
- 25:57Speaker 3: out and really say, hey, I'm the next CJ. Strap,
- 26:00Speaker 3: I'm the next great quarterback in this league. I loved
- 26:03Speaker 3: watching him again Cincinnati, just the energy and passion he
- 26:06Speaker 3: had for put it all on me. Coach I got this.
- 26:10Speaker 3: I hated watching Cincinnati lose, but I loved watching enough
- 26:12Speaker 3: former Tiger play the way he has.
- 26:15Speaker 4: When I watch you on TV, I think, dang, that's
- 26:18Speaker 4: a cool jacket. Like, dang, that's a cool shirt.
- 26:20Speaker 5: Do you pick your clothes out, man, because you're I
- 26:22Speaker 5: think you're the best dress out of everyone on that set.
- 26:25Speaker 3: I do. I you know, we obviously have people that
- 26:29Speaker 3: are you know, help us with that and all our
- 26:31Speaker 3: roidrobe stuff. But I love to be a part of it.
- 26:34Speaker 3: So I always have him come in at the beginning
- 26:35Speaker 3: of the year and we kind of pick out all
- 26:37Speaker 3: our outfits of me and can you get together? And
- 26:40Speaker 3: she kind of like, I'll say, hey, here's the idea
- 26:42Speaker 3: and concept that I want to go with this year,
- 26:44Speaker 3: and we have fun with it. I enjoy it. I
- 26:46Speaker 3: actually enjoy picking out some clothes. The hoodie, you know,
- 26:48Speaker 3: there's been a lot of fun. People love it. Haven't
- 26:50Speaker 3: actually rocked the hoodie this year yet for a game,
- 26:53Speaker 3: so I'm gonna, uh, it's coming out soon though, you know,
- 26:56Speaker 3: I've got a lot of grief. People want to know
- 26:57Speaker 3: where the hoodie is the sports coade. It's coming though.
- 27:00Speaker 3: I'm just kind of making people wait a little bit,
- 27:02Speaker 3: be patient, you know, so it's coming back though.
- 27:05Speaker 1: The final question, we talked about the Commanders and you're like, hey,
- 27:09Speaker 1: they may not last, but it's been cool to watch it.
- 27:11Speaker 1: What about the Vikings. Will they suffer the same fate
- 27:13Speaker 1: in your mind? Or are they just good?
- 27:16Speaker 3: I think they're pretty good, man. I think you look
- 27:18Speaker 3: at the job blind for us, and you know, really,
- 27:21Speaker 3: Kevin O'Connell have done there, both those guys. It's been
- 27:25Speaker 3: special to watch. I mean, they're almost getting teams to
- 27:28Speaker 3: do what they want rather than really responding to what
- 27:31Speaker 3: other teams do, and I think it's been impressive. I
- 27:33Speaker 3: think you look at it though. Even to start the season,
- 27:36Speaker 3: you thought, all right, man, the Vikings started hot on
- 27:38Speaker 3: defense and offense, and Sam Donald's obviously playing out of
- 27:40Speaker 3: his mind. But they got a lot of talent on
- 27:43Speaker 3: this football team. But let's see some adversity. And I thought, yeah,
- 27:46Speaker 3: even though this score of this game, the Vikings jumped
- 27:49Speaker 3: up huge against the Green Bay Packers. I love seeing
- 27:52Speaker 3: them like get some fight back from the Packers and
- 27:54Speaker 3: then have some adverse moments where they get put in
- 27:56Speaker 3: some tough situations defensively and they got to respond and
- 27:59Speaker 3: find a way create a turnover or find a way
- 28:01Speaker 3: to make a big play. I thought that was good
- 28:03Speaker 3: to see, is that even when they jump out like
- 28:05Speaker 3: that and then a team makes a run back at
- 28:07Speaker 3: them and puts them in some tough situations, that they
- 28:11Speaker 3: handle it well. And so I think this is impressive.
- 28:13Speaker 3: I mean, to be able to win some of these
- 28:15Speaker 3: games they pulled off, the way they've won them in
- 28:18Speaker 3: dominating fashion, and really the way they dominated games at times.
- 28:22Speaker 3: I think this team's here to stay. And I think
- 28:24Speaker 3: Sam Darnold's here today too. I think he's gonna have
- 28:26Speaker 3: a great season. And Kevin O'Connell's one of the best
- 28:28Speaker 3: play callers in the game right now, and so is
- 28:30Speaker 3: the gall on the other side of the football, and
- 28:32Speaker 3: Brian Forrez. This coaching staff here is really good and
- 28:37Speaker 3: I see them as being a team that's gonna be
- 28:38Speaker 3: good for the rest of the season.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Final bonus question. Do you have your ball that you
- 28:41Speaker 1: caught as a touchdown, your one touchdown? Do you keep
- 28:43Speaker 1: that ball?
- 28:44Speaker 3: You know? I do have that football. And it was
- 28:48Speaker 3: a special day. It was my birthday, and it was
- 28:52Speaker 3: also we were expecting twins, our first kids, our first
- 28:55Speaker 3: time out to shoot. Being parents, we had twins and
- 28:58Speaker 3: my wife was expecting them, and I didn't know what
- 28:59Speaker 3: to do. She's you know, I think it was twenty
- 29:01Speaker 3: something weeks pregnant with twins. It's like, do I tell
- 29:03Speaker 3: her that I might catch a touchdown the first play
- 29:05Speaker 3: of the game, the first drive of the game. Do
- 29:07Speaker 3: I not? It's my birthday. We're in Pittsburgh, which made
- 29:10Speaker 3: it even better. And also, you know, happen to have
- 29:14Speaker 3: a former LSU teammate and Ryan Clark, who may or
- 29:18Speaker 3: may not have been supposed to be covering me. I'm
- 29:20Speaker 3: not entirely sure of their defensive scheme. But I did
- 29:23Speaker 3: catch the touchdown pass and I spiked it in the
- 29:26Speaker 3: end zone, right up in front of all of the
- 29:28Speaker 3: Pittsburgh fans. So that was a really cool moment for me.
- 29:31Speaker 3: The only problem was I didn't tell my wife, and
- 29:34Speaker 3: I think she almost had our twins on the living
- 29:36Speaker 3: room floor when it happened. So I got yelled at
- 29:40Speaker 3: when I got home, and a hug and a kiss.
- 29:42Speaker 3: So it was a mixture of both.
- 29:44Speaker 1: And you wouldn't got the ball, somethe wouldn't get the
- 29:45Speaker 1: ball for you.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I got the football. Baby, We're good. That's
- 29:49Speaker 3: going nowhere.
- 29:50Speaker 1: You do a great job.
- 29:51Speaker 3: You're a lineman. You catch one pass, you tell your
- 29:53Speaker 3: kids about it every day. Okay, listen, every day. I'm
- 29:57Speaker 3: always willing to tell that story.
- 29:58Speaker 1: I promise Amazon's Thursday Night Football. Excellent job. You're killing it.
- 30:03Speaker 1: And you guys can follow Andrew on on Instagram at
- 30:05Speaker 1: Andrew Whitworth's seventy seven. We really appreciate the time, big fans,
- 30:09Speaker 1: and thanks for spending a few minutes with us.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Hey man, appreciate y'all having a meaning. It was a blast.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Come back anytime.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Thank you, all right, Andrew seybuddy, all right, thanks to
- 30:17Speaker 1: Andrew Whitworth. It was awesome. Let's talk about football for
- 30:20Speaker 1: a second. Let's talk about if you think you can
- 30:22Speaker 1: identify for players, we'll do more or less. For example,
- 30:26Speaker 1: and this is one from last week. If you were
- 30:27Speaker 1: to see Jamar Chase over under eighty five yards receiving.
- 30:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I would have said over.
- 30:32Speaker 1: I'd to price it over too, because the Bengals have
- 30:33Speaker 1: no defense and so they're gonna have to throw. If
- 30:36Speaker 1: I were to say Baker Mayfield more or less than
- 30:38Speaker 1: two hundred and forty point five passing yards more Baker's
- 30:42Speaker 1: been playing. Yeah, really, well, so this is this this
- 30:46Speaker 1: game that we play, it's DraftKings, Pick six, and so
- 30:50Speaker 1: what you do is you pick the players and you
- 30:52Speaker 1: pick more or less of a stat Kirk Cousins more
- 30:54Speaker 1: or less two twenty six point five passing yards.
- 30:57Speaker 4: Let's go less.
- 30:58Speaker 1: It seems low though.
- 30:59Speaker 5: It does seem like and that's why I want to
- 31:00Speaker 5: go less. Whenever it's low like that, and I'm like, oh,
- 31:03Speaker 5: it's definitely way over, I go the opposite.
- 31:06Speaker 1: But you lose a lot. I do.
- 31:08Speaker 4: I do, And I'm not saying that. Yeah, I'm not
- 31:09Speaker 4: saying I win.
- 31:09Speaker 1: I'm saying you're wrong. And that feels. That feels low.
- 31:13Speaker 1: B John Robbinson more or less than sixty five point
- 31:15Speaker 1: five rushing yards. That's tough because they're not factoring in
- 31:18Speaker 1: obviously his receiving yards. I think part of what he
- 31:21Speaker 1: does is rush just gets a lot of yards.
- 31:23Speaker 4: Yeah, you going under on that, I'm.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Gonna go I wouldn't. I probably wouldn't pick that One's
- 31:29Speaker 1: skip that one. I wouldn't pick that one. You can do.
- 31:31Speaker 1: There's tons of players, but tonight, for example, Mike Evans
- 31:35Speaker 1: more or less than four point five receptions. What's a
- 31:38Speaker 1: tough one. I'll probably go more on that one. But
- 31:40Speaker 1: that's what this is. If you can pick players and
- 31:42Speaker 1: pick their more or less, I mean you goin money.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Download the DraftKings Pick six app. Use the code Bobby

- 32:18Speaker 1: a year oldest son is how old?
- 32:19Speaker 4: My oldest is? Sixteen?
- 32:21Speaker 1: So there are two freshman wide receivers. There're seventeen maybe
- 32:25Speaker 1: one s turn eighteen.
- 32:26Speaker 4: Now that's crazy.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Oh and they're they're they're killing the Alabama wide receiver.
- 32:30Speaker 1: He's seventeen seven, he left high school early, and he's
- 32:34Speaker 1: a five star kid and he's the most dominant player
- 32:36Speaker 1: on the field. So Ryan Williams had sixteen has sixteen
- 32:40Speaker 1: receptions on the season, four or sixty yards five touchdowns
- 32:42Speaker 1: for Alabama. He's a year older than your son.
- 32:44Speaker 4: I mean, there's got to be something in the water,
- 32:46Speaker 4: like they just I mean, we're just genetic.
- 32:49Speaker 5: So like in time, So explain genetics to me. So
- 32:52Speaker 5: in time, the genetics get better, just.
- 32:55Speaker 1: They can based on they going to say the same,
- 32:56Speaker 1: or they can get they can become worse. It's also
- 32:59Speaker 1: about who you're So let's say get better. If I
- 33:03Speaker 1: have a kid, and hopefully one day I will my
- 33:06Speaker 1: wife and I have a kid, I would expect that
- 33:08Speaker 1: kid to be a better athlete than I am because
- 33:10Speaker 1: my wife is an A plus athlete, because I hope.
- 33:14Speaker 1: What would be terrible is if they get if they
- 33:17Speaker 1: get like my looks and my athletic ability, that's going
- 33:22Speaker 1: to suck.
- 33:24Speaker 4: But you know what, I wish I was more like
- 33:26Speaker 4: you when I was dating, Like I wish.
- 33:28Speaker 3: I was more.
- 33:28Speaker 4: I'm not dating now, no, no, no, I know, but you've
- 33:30Speaker 4: always thought like this, like, oh, genetics, Well what if
- 33:33Speaker 4: I were dating and I love my wife.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Because I was like, these are some great genetics to marry.
- 33:38Speaker 1: I'm just saying I'm very happy with how you're setting
- 33:40Speaker 1: me up though for you just to talk about you,
- 33:43Speaker 1: so you can talk about you, but don't let's take
- 33:46Speaker 1: you out of it. Oh thank god?
- 33:47Speaker 4: Uh if I well, I don't even want to say
- 33:49Speaker 4: if I can go back. But it's just interesting, Like
- 33:52Speaker 4: I would have done things a little different. I would
- 33:54Speaker 4: have been like, all right, give me the best genetics.
- 33:56Speaker 4: You're you're very smart, you play, you're an athlete.
- 33:59Speaker 5: Like then I would think about my future that way
- 34:01Speaker 5: and be like, dude, our kids are going to be
- 34:02Speaker 5: like awesome.
- 34:03Speaker 4: But I didn't think that.
- 34:04Speaker 1: But I don't think I did it either. But what
- 34:06Speaker 1: I'm attracted to are really smart people that can challenge me,
- 34:11Speaker 1: and I'm attract to it. But I'm also like, I
- 34:13Speaker 1: get so turned off by because she beats crap out
- 34:14Speaker 1: of me as far as like I can't argue with her,
- 34:18Speaker 1: no lead up, I'll lose. I've never had that happen
- 34:20Speaker 1: in my whole life. I feel like I can get
- 34:22Speaker 1: into an argument with anybody in the whole world, or
- 34:25Speaker 1: a debate, and even if I don't know, I can
- 34:28Speaker 1: figure it out during. I can't do that with her,
- 34:32Speaker 1: so and sometimes I'll do the thing where it's like
- 34:34Speaker 1: I'm just not gonna talk. Yeah, I'll say that, well,
- 34:35Speaker 1: can you wanna play the comes? I'll say anything.
- 34:36Speaker 4: You just you're just quiet.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Really, what I'm doing is I know I've been outmatched,
- 34:40Speaker 1: and so that's what attracts me to her. I didn't
- 34:43Speaker 1: like put it on a chart and go like if
- 34:44Speaker 1: I get her pregnant. The athletic ability, I didn't even
- 34:49Speaker 1: know until we just like started playing ball because she
- 34:53Speaker 1: was like an all state softball player and we'd play basketball.
- 34:57Speaker 4: Yeah, you didn't meet her on the court.
- 34:58Speaker 1: She was lights out and I'd be like what And
- 35:00Speaker 1: then you see her dad, and her dad's in his sixties,
- 35:03Speaker 1: but it's still like extremely athletic and built. And his
- 35:08Speaker 1: pictures when he's like in his forties, he has eight
- 35:10Speaker 1: ABSA her Kaylen's sister was an all state basketball player,
- 35:15Speaker 1: state championship team. Her brother played college basketball. He was
- 35:17Speaker 1: like six seven, So that I just was fortunate enough
- 35:22Speaker 1: to fall into. But I'm very attractive to that.
- 35:24Speaker 4: No, totally totally.
- 35:25Speaker 1: But I didn't pick her because I wrote down some Okay,
- 35:27Speaker 1: I must have a genetic right.
- 35:29Speaker 4: Now, and I'm happy with the way my life turned out.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Yeah, we can tell.
- 35:32Speaker 5: It's just I never thought of that when I was dating.
- 35:36Speaker 5: Seems smart.
- 35:38Speaker 1: There are certain people that look for certain sure, but
- 35:41Speaker 1: for the most part, you kind of go with what
- 35:42Speaker 1: you're attracted to.
- 35:44Speaker 5: Because like the mannings like they like they must have
- 35:47Speaker 5: married athletic women.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Right, I don't know. I don't know if the mom
- 35:50Speaker 1: was an athlete or not. Maybe you looked that up, Mikey,
- 35:52Speaker 1: because the dad obviously.
- 35:54Speaker 4: Was obviously, But man, if you marry an athletic when
- 35:57Speaker 4: you're already an athlete, and you marry an athlete, I.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Mean Christian McCaffrey parents, I believe they're both athletes. Nick
- 36:02Speaker 1: his mom was was like a runner or something.
- 36:05Speaker 4: It's amazing.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Yeah, But anyway, this kids are seventeen.
- 36:07Speaker 4: It's unbelievable.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Jeremiah Smith that has nineteen receptions for the year, three
- 36:12Speaker 1: or sixty yards five touchdowns for Ohio State. He had
- 36:13Speaker 1: two one handed catches. Even watching him in warm up,
- 36:15Speaker 1: when he catches those balls one handed, it's not like
- 36:17Speaker 1: a one hand to catch where it's like you're pinning
- 36:20Speaker 1: it to your hand as it's coming with momentum. Yeah,
- 36:22Speaker 1: he just yanks them out of the air. They're seventeen
- 36:25Speaker 1: or barely eighteen year old kids. I just wonder comparing
- 36:28Speaker 1: that to like your son who's sixteen.
- 36:30Speaker 5: I mean, he's not confident in getting in his car
- 36:32Speaker 5: and driving his school. Like the confidence level for these
- 36:35Speaker 5: kids has got to be like amazing.
- 36:37Speaker 1: It's wild that you're seventeen you expect to go start
- 36:40Speaker 1: at Alabama.
- 36:41Speaker 4: Yeah, and not be stressed about it and catch balls
- 36:43Speaker 4: with one hand.
- 36:44Speaker 6: I was watched the play of the game.
- 36:46Speaker 1: I was watching him play high school football last night.
- 36:48Speaker 1: The Alabama kid popped up on my TikTok. It was
- 36:51Speaker 1: like his high school recruiting and he was playing wide
- 36:54Speaker 1: receiver and his games are on ESPN because he that
- 36:56Speaker 1: team was really good and he was playing wide receiver
- 37:00Speaker 1: making all these plays. Just get on the ball and
- 37:01Speaker 1: he makes thirty people miss. He didn't score touchdown every play,
- 37:04Speaker 1: but people are missing every time. But then he also
- 37:06Speaker 1: played quarterback at a high level at a high high school,
- 37:08Speaker 1: not like a double a school where one player does
- 37:10Speaker 1: it all. It's seventeen. Wait, now, I felt like it
- 37:12Speaker 1: was crazy. He's got great teeth too.
- 37:14Speaker 6: Was in his teeth?
- 37:15Speaker 1: No, Ron Williams, No, yeah, maybe I have I just
- 37:19Speaker 1: haven't noticed them read.
- 37:20Speaker 6: They're like perfect man he flosses, and I don't know,
- 37:24Speaker 6: they look kind of fake.
- 37:27Speaker 1: Uh, mister McMahon on Netflix, I've watcheen that I've seen.
- 37:30Speaker 4: Huh, you're watching that right, So I was about to say,
- 37:32Speaker 4: I've seen that. Yeah, thanks for telling me. I just
- 37:34Speaker 4: just telling me out in my head.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I've seen five of the six, Mike, I've seen
- 37:37Speaker 1: them all. Yeah, I've seen five of the six. I
- 37:41Speaker 1: am not watching it with my wife, so it's harder
- 37:44Speaker 1: to find. And I don't really watch it an hour time,
- 37:47Speaker 1: like thirty minutes at a time. Yeah, it's usually I'll
- 37:48Speaker 1: watch it and I watch it on my phone. It's
- 37:50Speaker 1: really good. I really like wrestling, and I don't really
- 37:53Speaker 1: watch as much of it now, but I love wrestling
- 37:56Speaker 1: as a kid, even as a young adult, I kept
- 37:58Speaker 1: up with it, and I keep up with a little
- 37:59Speaker 1: bit now. But I don't ever just watch it. I
- 38:02Speaker 1: guess just clips. I guess now if somebody cuts a
- 38:05Speaker 1: really good promo, it'll pop up in my algorithm.
- 38:07Speaker 4: Where does it come on?
- 38:08Speaker 3: Now? Like?
- 38:09Speaker 1: Is it? So? Netflix just signed a deal for next
- 38:11Speaker 1: year that's gonna be on Netflix. But USA had it
- 38:13Speaker 1: Forever Peacock, which owns USA, which is why my show
- 38:16Speaker 1: was on USA Peacock. But mister McMahon's really good.
- 38:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:21Speaker 7: The only thing they made me want to watch it
- 38:22Speaker 7: was whenever Vince my Mann put out that statement. I
- 38:25Speaker 7: didn't really have any interested until then. I was like, oh,
- 38:27Speaker 7: I got to see what this is all about.
- 38:28Speaker 1: It's the story of Vince McMahon and the WWF slash WWE,
- 38:33Speaker 1: and Vince McMahon puts out a statement and goes, hey,
- 38:37Speaker 1: this is not accurate. They shot this with intentions, and
- 38:42Speaker 1: there's a character, mister McMahon, and there's me, and they
- 38:45Speaker 1: really leaned on the mister McMahon. Like I tell you,
- 38:49Speaker 1: I've been through five and there are some stuff on
- 38:50Speaker 1: it that paining him is not that great, But I
- 38:53Speaker 1: think he jumped the gun on telling people how bad
- 38:55Speaker 1: it makes him look. I haven't seen six yet. I
- 38:57Speaker 1: don't know if they really get heavily into the allegations
- 38:59Speaker 1: that have surfaced in the past year. Yeah, that's about
- 39:02Speaker 1: the last episode. But I don't think through five episodes
- 39:05Speaker 1: that I would be like, he's a real scumbag. Through
- 39:08Speaker 1: five episodes, I'd be like, probably not somebody I want
- 39:11Speaker 1: to be friends with, and did everything like would cut
- 39:16Speaker 1: people for his business. But there are a lot of
- 39:17Speaker 1: really successful people that rip people's hearts out for business.
- 39:22Speaker 7: It's really just what I would imagine the life of
- 39:24Speaker 7: a billionaire being like that's it. Like he's hardcore a
- 39:27Speaker 7: business hard core, and that is what's going to happen.
- 39:29Speaker 1: And had to make a lot of tough decisions, a
- 39:30Speaker 1: lot of integrity less decisions, but decisions that had to
- 39:36Speaker 1: be made if the company was going to be massive.
- 39:38Speaker 1: But also they talked about his failures like XFL and
- 39:40Speaker 1: how embarrassing that was. The first time one season done,
- 39:43Speaker 1: the ratings dropped like seventy five percent. It was the
- 39:47Speaker 1: one XFL game was the lowest rated network show in
- 39:50Speaker 1: the history of network television. Ever, when him and Bob
- 39:53Speaker 1: Costs were about to I don't remember that interview. I've
- 39:57Speaker 1: not even seen it on like A because I get
- 39:59Speaker 1: a lot of wrestling on I TikTok old school wrestling.
- 40:01Speaker 1: I had never seen that pop up mic. It's like
- 40:03Speaker 1: something that hey remember this.
- 40:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:05Speaker 7: The fact that he would do interviews during the midst
- 40:07Speaker 7: of some of this stuff, It's like, why are you
- 40:09Speaker 7: doing this?
- 40:09Speaker 1: Bob Costa is sitting across from him. This is probably
- 40:12Speaker 1: I don't know, ninety two thousand, maybe probably the two thousands,
- 40:17Speaker 1: early two thousands. Yeah, the quality of television. It's a
- 40:20Speaker 1: couple of generations ago. Okay, okay, But Bob Costas is
- 40:22Speaker 1: doing an interview show with him, and they're just sitting
- 40:24Speaker 1: one on one and Bob Costas is like, hey, so
- 40:27Speaker 1: something something something, And Bob Costas says, because he's also
- 40:31Speaker 1: today as part of the documentary, and so Bob Costas
- 40:34Speaker 1: will come in and be like, yeah, I thought through
- 40:36Speaker 1: the whole series, and Bob Costa said, well, I told
- 40:39Speaker 1: him before I went on, Hey, I'm gonna ask some
- 40:41Speaker 1: tough questions because the XFL had really started to fail,
- 40:44Speaker 1: and Vince was like yeah sure. So they go out
- 40:46Speaker 1: in Vincement man like looks like he's gonna beat the
- 40:48Speaker 1: crap out of Bob Costas about in a formal interview,
- 40:51Speaker 1: Like he's leaning into him.
- 40:54Speaker 4: Like he's big too, right.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Yeah, big as in like muscular. I mean he's probably
- 40:58Speaker 1: sixty two or something in real life, right based Jacks though, Yeah,
- 41:01Speaker 1: the steroids thing is super interesting.
- 41:04Speaker 4: Right, So what happens with Bob Costas well.
- 41:06Speaker 1: He doesn't punch him, but the interview is really weird
- 41:08Speaker 1: because he's right in his face and Bob Costas feels
- 41:11Speaker 1: like Vincent Man's not gonna hit him, so he's just
- 41:13Speaker 1: like Leska. But Vincent Man looks like he's gonna rip
- 41:17Speaker 1: his head off. And this is not like a work,
- 41:19Speaker 1: it's not a WWE thing. It's a real liarview. But
- 41:22Speaker 1: you can see how aggressive he gets.
- 41:24Speaker 7: It almost seems like all of his life is WWE though,
- 41:28Speaker 7: like anything he does, he's showing up like I'm performing
- 41:31Speaker 7: right now. This is all going back in my brand.
- 41:33Speaker 1: What would you rate the series? I get like a
- 41:35Speaker 1: four out of five.
- 41:35Speaker 7: I think if you're not a wrestling fan, like my
- 41:37Speaker 7: wife not into it whatsoever. She didn't like the series, No,
- 41:40Speaker 7: I think, And then I think Netflix always, like, like
- 41:43Speaker 7: you said, they had an agenda. They were good to
- 41:44Speaker 7: pick certain parts of his life they wanted to focus
- 41:46Speaker 7: on to sensationalize it. So I feel like they focused
- 41:49Speaker 7: on some things way too hard that it didn't really
- 41:51Speaker 7: paint him as a whole.
- 41:54Speaker 1: I feel like they gave him a little benefit of
- 41:56Speaker 1: the doubt at times, talking about where he came from.
- 41:58Speaker 1: He was an abused kid, didn't know his real dad,
- 42:00Speaker 1: met some man senior until he got older. Comes from
- 42:04Speaker 1: I mean, he was very poor and so he had
- 42:06Speaker 1: the attitude of I will just kill everything until I
- 42:09Speaker 1: get to why I'm not poor, and then I'm gonna
- 42:11Speaker 1: meet like he has that and I don't have it
- 42:13Speaker 1: like he does yet. Anyway, it's still time, but I
- 42:18Speaker 1: definitely maybe I just related on that level. It was
- 42:20Speaker 1: like I would I would have worked every second of
- 42:24Speaker 1: every day and made I've made some tough decisions. And
- 42:29Speaker 1: if you make a lot of decisions on a big level,
- 42:32Speaker 1: some people are just gonna think you're a dick because
- 42:33Speaker 1: you're having to make tough decisions, and some people are
- 42:35Speaker 1: gonna think you're a saint. And sometimes that's gonna switch.
- 42:38Speaker 1: And there were times where people would sue him. He'd
- 42:40Speaker 1: bring them back in because it's like this is good
- 42:42Speaker 1: for business.
- 42:42Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 42:43Speaker 1: There were times where like him and Hulkogan got into
- 42:45Speaker 1: it bad is it's the storyline, like you said, mm hmm.
- 42:48Speaker 4: Like in real life that got into a bad Yes.
- 42:51Speaker 1: Hulk left went to w CW because he was like, I'm
- 42:54Speaker 1: gona do movies and end up going to WW but
- 42:56Speaker 1: then Hulk comes back and he's like, brings them back
- 42:58Speaker 1: to fight the Rock in Wrustlemania, and he's like, I
- 43:00Speaker 1: won't let personal decisions get in the way of business.
- 43:03Speaker 1: It's I give it a four and a half out
- 43:05Speaker 1: of five. I'm not finished incomplete because one more episode,
- 43:08Speaker 1: but I've really I've look forward to watching it. But yeah,
- 43:11Speaker 1: not somebody that I think i'd want to be friends with.
- 43:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 43:13Speaker 7: The interesting part to me was whenever he kind of
- 43:16Speaker 7: blurred the lines of the mister McMahon character and what
- 43:18Speaker 7: was going on in his real life. Yeah, like usually
- 43:20Speaker 7: get to like make out with chicks on TV. It's like,
- 43:23Speaker 7: is he doing that, because like that's what he would do, Like, hey,
- 43:26Speaker 7: I could actually turn this into Conte's like, oh, it's
- 43:28Speaker 7: all just for the show or like that's what he
- 43:30Speaker 7: would be doing behind closed the doors anyway.
- 43:32Speaker 1: And he has a lot of really bad allegations against
- 43:33Speaker 1: him now. But I would say whenever I first started
- 43:36Speaker 1: to have some success and Eddie and I were doing
- 43:37Speaker 1: Raging Idiots and I paid for a music video and
- 43:39Speaker 1: I got a model to make out with me on
- 43:41Speaker 1: uh in the music video, I was blowing lines.
- 43:45Speaker 4: Interesting, I mean that happened.
- 43:49Speaker 1: I was like, now for the we need to really
- 43:51Speaker 1: like meet in the middle and like it's a makeout
- 43:52Speaker 1: scene mister Bones and Bobby, you know, two different people.
- 43:57Speaker 5: But when you make a documentary like that, though, like,
- 43:59Speaker 5: don't you know that there there's a really good chance
- 44:02Speaker 5: of them spinning it in different ways that you may
- 44:04Speaker 5: not agree with.
- 44:06Speaker 1: Well, so Vince didn't make it. Bill Simmons one of
- 44:09Speaker 1: the executive producers of it, so they're gonna make it regardless.
- 44:15Speaker 1: So it's up to Vince if he wants to be
- 44:16Speaker 1: a part of it. Now, him being a part of
- 44:17Speaker 1: it can actually shift a little bit of it.
- 44:19Speaker 5: Does that mean be interviewed on it? Or hold an
- 44:22Speaker 5: executive producer?
- 44:22Speaker 1: So he's not executive producer, but he's a part he
- 44:25Speaker 1: has creatively. I only get any.
- 44:27Speaker 7: Say now and they bring in people who don't like
- 44:30Speaker 7: him and are saying things like against him.
- 44:32Speaker 1: So and he's in every episode more than anybody else
- 44:35Speaker 1: talking I really liked it, you liked it? Yeah?
- 44:38Speaker 7: I mean his statement could also be trying to bring
- 44:40Speaker 7: attention to it because he's all about show. But put
- 44:43Speaker 7: out this statement and get people interested in it, And
- 44:45Speaker 7: I wouldn't watch it.
- 44:46Speaker 1: I wouldn't have thought that, But over and over again,
- 44:47Speaker 1: he's like, it doesn't matter what happens to me personally.
- 44:49Speaker 7: That's all he does in his life is create storylines.
- 44:51Speaker 7: What is good for business? Me putting out the statement
- 44:54Speaker 7: could be good.
- 44:54Speaker 1: For business if I'm taking off all the terrible allegation,
- 44:57Speaker 1: the recent ones, and I'm removing all of that, Like
- 45:01Speaker 1: brilliant dude, brilliant through necessity.
- 45:04Speaker 4: A brilliant business mind, right, that's what you're saying that person.
- 45:07Speaker 1: Well, I'm saying it cut all the allegations, even person
- 45:08Speaker 1: to have these thoughts. Yeah, brilliant guy and also brilliant.
- 45:12Speaker 1: And then he would try things and fail and it
- 45:13Speaker 1: was just like onto the next.
- 45:15Speaker 7: I mean even how he started it of like going
- 45:17Speaker 7: out and taking top talent from other regions where it
- 45:19Speaker 7: wasn't a national thing. Gay, He's like, oh, first years
- 45:21Speaker 7: to do it. Here's the number one wrestler here in
- 45:23Speaker 7: this region. I'm gonna pay him money, bring him over
- 45:25Speaker 7: to my thing. And then embraced a cable Yeah when
- 45:28Speaker 7: that wasn't a thing.
- 45:30Speaker 1: So yeah, a terrible dude, I think, But you can,
- 45:33Speaker 1: but you don't have to be one or the other
- 45:35Speaker 1: because it sounds like especially like well the last ones
- 45:40Speaker 1: were like he was like had it was like whacking
- 45:43Speaker 1: off of a girl's hair or something like people allegation something.
- 45:46Speaker 1: I don't remember the allegation exactly, like pooping on her
- 45:48Speaker 1: head or something. It was bad.
- 45:50Speaker 6: Yeah, I go weird.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Like the culture. Yeah, like read that interest that's a
- 45:53Speaker 1: bad culture. I was letting, No, No, that's attitude era.
- 45:58Speaker 1: I'm talking about some people like women's suing him.
- 46:02Speaker 3: Man.
- 46:02Speaker 1: Uh the steroids thing like all those people that died. Yeah,
- 46:08Speaker 1: I never were forty five.
- 46:08Speaker 7: I never really thought about it. And as I was
- 46:10Speaker 7: watching it, I realized what they said that me as
- 46:13Speaker 7: a kid watching that, I just thought that was part
- 46:15Speaker 7: of the storyline. Though people dying there were characters.
- 46:17Speaker 3: To me.
- 46:17Speaker 1: I was like, oh, so and So died.
- 46:19Speaker 7: When you think about like, those are real people dying,
- 46:21Speaker 7: and nobody really questioned it because you were so like
- 46:24Speaker 7: in the world of wrestling that it goes Adie Guerrero
- 46:27Speaker 7: died like that's.
- 46:27Speaker 1: Part of the storyline, all right, and pilm and died.
- 46:29Speaker 1: Who's bringing who you're bringing in next? They talk about
- 46:32Speaker 1: owen Hart, they do it. They do that like a
- 46:34Speaker 1: fifteen minutes, a full fifteen minutes on it. Yeah, where
- 46:37Speaker 1: Owen Hart. Bretthart's brother was the Blue Meani. I remember
- 46:42Speaker 1: the Blue Meani and so he was this character with
- 46:44Speaker 1: the mask is coming out of the rafters on a
- 46:46Speaker 1: cable and fell into the ring died. I remember that
- 46:51Speaker 1: during a pay per view, and it happened when the
- 46:53Speaker 1: lights were down, which I didn't know. I thought everybody
- 46:56Speaker 1: in their reena, Yeah, no one saw it. Yeah, nobody
- 46:59Speaker 1: saw it because the lights were down and there's blood
- 47:02Speaker 1: in the ring. And they do the pay per view
- 47:05Speaker 1: and Vince is like, keep going with the show because
- 47:07Speaker 1: nobody in the crowd saw it, and Vince goes, if
- 47:10Speaker 1: it were me that happened to I'd want them to
- 47:11Speaker 1: finish the show if nobody in the crowd saw it.
- 47:13Speaker 1: And you see the like they go to Jeff Jarrett
- 47:16Speaker 1: and he's cutting a promo and he's like yelling at
- 47:19Speaker 1: whoever's gonna fight, but he's like crying again there's blood
- 47:23Speaker 1: in the ring, and they finish out the yeahs wild,
- 47:27Speaker 1: I remeard it happening. I remember that.
- 47:29Speaker 7: And then the opposite thing happen with Chris ben Wah.
- 47:31Speaker 7: He wouldn't murder that happens, and then they do a
- 47:33Speaker 7: big tribute to him.
- 47:34Speaker 1: Do they talk about that in six Yeah, because I
- 47:36Speaker 1: just know the story. He murdered his wife and kids
- 47:38Speaker 1: and himself.
- 47:39Speaker 7: And in staid they stop with the show dud and
- 47:41Speaker 7: then do this make tribute to him? And then the
- 47:43Speaker 7: news comes out after they already did that?
- 47:44Speaker 1: What over? Like like, those are two terrible decisions. But
- 47:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna say, over the course of forty years or
- 47:50Speaker 1: whatever it is, there's gonna be a lot of decisions
- 47:52Speaker 1: that you look back out and go it's a terrible thing.
- 47:54Speaker 1: The owen Hart thing, though, I think, and I don't
- 47:57Speaker 1: like to put myself on somebody else's shoes. I think
- 47:58Speaker 1: I would have called the show.
- 48:00Speaker 4: Was he dead on the spot? Yes, and they knew that.
- 48:03Speaker 1: They so the people came out and they tried to
- 48:06Speaker 1: do life saving efforts. They rolled them back and then
- 48:10Speaker 1: during the show, Jim Ross was like, we have to
- 48:13Speaker 1: announce it was him and Jerry Lawler that owen Hard
- 48:15Speaker 1: has died. And it's like, this is not a work,
- 48:17Speaker 1: this is not a storyline, and they continued on with
- 48:19Speaker 1: the show.
- 48:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 48:20Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't like the second guest. Folks,
- 48:23Speaker 1: I feel like I got to stop the show.
- 48:25Speaker 7: They want to disappoint the fans in the crowd already.
- 48:28Speaker 7: It's wild.
- 48:29Speaker 4: I know, I think they would understand. But yeah, they
- 48:31Speaker 4: didn't tell the crowd.
- 48:32Speaker 1: They didn't see it. They know the crowd.
- 48:34Speaker 4: I'm saying after the fact, like this is why we're canceling.
- 48:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I think sure, but they they but again they
- 48:39Speaker 1: did not know to them that it was just something
- 48:41Speaker 1: that happened and maybe a storyline. So and then Brett
- 48:46Speaker 1: and it turns out it wasn't w w f's fault,
- 48:48Speaker 1: wwb's fault. Yeah, it was the company that made the
- 48:53Speaker 1: harness later got sued because that's what broke. And so
- 48:59Speaker 1: the Heart fam only sued like Owen's wife sued wwe wb'
- 49:04Speaker 1: is like we've had so many investigations, it's the horn.
- 49:07Speaker 1: They sued the Harness people. And then Brett Hart came
- 49:09Speaker 1: out and was like, you know, for a long time
- 49:10Speaker 1: I thought maybe they were trying to get get at
- 49:12Speaker 1: me and they might kill my brother because Brett Hart
- 49:15Speaker 1: left him. It is very controversial. Yeah, it was the
- 49:17Speaker 1: screw jow Montre.
- 49:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Anyway, it's good, you know, the size of Hole Cochin.
- 49:23Speaker 1: I'm always amazed by that.
- 49:24Speaker 3: I didn't know you was that big.
- 49:25Speaker 1: Not that he's just muscular, because we can see that,
- 49:27Speaker 1: but he's like six seven in that muscular.
- 49:29Speaker 4: You remember Rocky Man Rocky three, Yeah, it's three.
- 49:32Speaker 1: They talk about it. He's in it two Rockies. I
- 49:34Speaker 1: mean they talk about him being Thunderlips.
- 49:38Speaker 4: Yeah, that was his character. That was his name in
- 49:41Speaker 4: the movie.
- 49:41Speaker 1: Yeah, so he did that in Rocky So, uh yeah,
- 49:44Speaker 1: that's it. We spent a lot of time on this,
- 49:46Speaker 1: but I think we probably have a lot of wrestling
- 49:47Speaker 1: fans or used to be wrestling fans.
- 49:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:50Speaker 1: I give it four and a half out of five,
- 49:51Speaker 1: although I'm still incomplete. Mike gives it four.
- 49:53Speaker 4: You watch it, Casey, not yet, Maddie, No, no, I
- 49:56Speaker 4: haven't seen Red.
- 49:57Speaker 1: You have Netflix? Yeah, I got Netflix. Make sure I
- 50:00Speaker 1: like wrestling now or then?
- 50:03Speaker 4: Uh No, I don't really keep up with it now,
- 50:04Speaker 4: but back in the day, I did like Ray Mysterio,
- 50:07Speaker 4: all those guys.
- 50:07Speaker 1: That's who you go to first, Like I remember Ray
- 50:10Speaker 1: Misterio and his son. I think Wrestle's now the six
- 50:13Speaker 1: one nine, wasn't that as finisher? Yeah?
- 50:15Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 50:16Speaker 7: Read and I went to SummerSlam a couple of summers ago.
- 50:18Speaker 1: I forgot. I saw Logan Paul. Yeah, that was fun.
- 50:21Speaker 1: I saw Logan Paul interviewing Undertaker because or the other Paul.
- 50:26Speaker 1: It's got to be Logan, right, because Logan's wrestler.
- 50:28Speaker 7: Logan who has the podcast anyway, both of you, but
- 50:31Speaker 7: Logans is bigger impulsive.
- 50:33Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 50:33Speaker 1: I was watching clips everything. I watched the clips now
- 50:35Speaker 1: on TikTok.
- 50:35Speaker 6: Which is the one with the bell. That guy's got
- 50:37Speaker 6: the belly.
- 50:37Speaker 1: Now he's the boxer, Okay, he's the one fighting Mike Tyson.
- 50:40Speaker 4: Is that a real belly?
- 50:42Speaker 1: So I have a theory that is the other Paul,
- 50:44Speaker 1: Jake Paul, Right, Jake Paul's fighting Mike Tyson. Remember these
- 50:47Speaker 1: were just two YouTube kids, by the way, that have
- 50:49Speaker 1: been so smart. They've done the Vince LC man and
- 50:53Speaker 1: just marketed the crap out of themselves in every way. Yeah,
- 50:57Speaker 1: it's wild. Uh My theory with that belly is he
- 51:01Speaker 1: got because you could do that in three weeks and
- 51:06Speaker 1: just be super bloated and stick it out.
- 51:08Speaker 4: Oh you think it's real?
- 51:09Speaker 1: Hold on, because I think you could stick it out right,
- 51:12Speaker 1: you know, everybody can do the thing now where they
- 51:13Speaker 1: stick a belly out. Yeah, so I think he got
- 51:15Speaker 1: it extremely bloated. Did that? I have two theories. But
- 51:18Speaker 1: it was before and they recorded it these bits to
- 51:22Speaker 1: play getting ready for the fight. So now he's all
- 51:24Speaker 1: in super great shape. But this is something they did before,
- 51:27Speaker 1: way pre pre pre that's number one. Number two has
- 51:30Speaker 1: got a lot of money. That could be a fake
- 51:32Speaker 1: belly because his face is not fat and like his
- 51:37Speaker 1: pecks are still the.
- 51:39Speaker 6: Pecks look good, and then the belly just hangs over.
- 51:41Speaker 1: So I think it could be a prosthetic belly, but
- 51:43Speaker 1: I think mostly they probably shot it ahead of all
- 51:46Speaker 1: of it. You see the guy and I forget what
- 51:47Speaker 1: it's called. Mike, maybe you can help me on this.
- 51:50Speaker 1: If you just eat on TikTok and people watch you eat,
- 51:54Speaker 1: what's the term for that?
- 51:56Speaker 3: Bang?
- 51:56Speaker 1: Okay, you two both know, I know you two weirdos
- 51:58Speaker 1: would know that. It's when you just watch people eat.
- 52:01Speaker 1: And so this dude who was four hundred plus pounds
- 52:05Speaker 1: I'm assuming probably four fifty even so he's a big
- 52:08Speaker 1: muck banger and people and so every he put up
- 52:11Speaker 1: his videos every week, every week, every week, what he did,
- 52:13Speaker 1: which was amazing, and again shout out to this dude.
- 52:16Speaker 1: He recorded a ton of content ahead of time enough
- 52:19Speaker 1: for two years, muck bang muck bang shooting it every
- 52:22Speaker 1: night so he can have videos still. But while this
- 52:25Speaker 1: is all being put up on feeds for two years,
- 52:28Speaker 1: he's losing weight. All of a sudden, one day pops up.
- 52:32Speaker 1: I'm scinny now. I was like, shout out. People got
- 52:35Speaker 1: mad at him?
- 52:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I read that.
- 52:37Speaker 1: But people that get mad at somebody, you're you're losers
- 52:40Speaker 1: if you get mad at him for that. First of all,
- 52:42Speaker 1: you're a loser for caring about what he does.
- 52:44Speaker 4: And he eventually came out and he said, this is
- 52:45Speaker 4: what I did.
- 52:46Speaker 1: Yes, oh yeah, he didn't act like he just like
- 52:47Speaker 1: cut it all off of him. Yeah, Mike, can you
- 52:50Speaker 1: rationalize why people were get mad at him?
- 52:52Speaker 7: I mean, I think he's just like a really polarizing dude,
- 52:55Speaker 7: and I think it was just him messing with people,
- 52:56Speaker 7: but also like putting the finger back at other people, like, look,
- 52:59Speaker 7: you're so consumed with like my weight, and you've been
- 53:01Speaker 7: watching me, and I proved you wrong.
- 53:05Speaker 1: I thought it was hilarious. I don't I don't muck
- 53:06Speaker 1: bang a lot.
- 53:08Speaker 4: What does that even mean?
- 53:09Speaker 6: Where did that come from?
- 53:10Speaker 1: Yeah? I know, I.
- 53:11Speaker 7: Think it's a Japanese word.
- 53:13Speaker 3: But yeah.
- 53:14Speaker 7: People will go to like Taco Bell by every single
- 53:16Speaker 7: menu item and then eat it on camera. I would
- 53:18Speaker 7: watch them from time to time just because, like me,
- 53:21Speaker 7: watching that stuff makes me feel like I'm consuming it
- 53:23Speaker 7: without eating it, and it's just kind of interesting to watch.
- 53:26Speaker 3: Oh.
- 53:26Speaker 1: I feel like when I watched ITFF like that I
- 53:28Speaker 1: want to eat it. It makes me want to eat it.
- 53:29Speaker 3: Oh.
- 53:29Speaker 1: Really so different than Mike or Mike watching it can
- 53:31Speaker 1: be like, oh, I feel like I just kind of
- 53:33Speaker 1: did it me. It's like, oh, I must do it now.
- 53:35Speaker 7: Whenever I was first losing weight, when I was losing
- 53:36Speaker 7: one hundred pounds, I would get my healthy food that
- 53:39Speaker 7: were on a YouTube video somebody eating like KFC for
- 53:41Speaker 7: an hour and I'm like, Okay, I feel like I'm
- 53:43Speaker 7: eating that too, even though I'm eating broccoli.
- 53:45Speaker 6: Whoa tricking your mind?
- 53:49Speaker 1: Caitlin Clark Memorabilia, It's been a record, and I'll tell
- 53:51Speaker 1: you it's something I just did, and then we'll get
- 53:53Speaker 1: to our games and stuff. But because this is coming
- 53:56Speaker 1: on Tuesday, we won't spend a lot of time talking
- 53:58Speaker 1: about the last weekend that's been regurgitated a bunch of times,
- 54:02Speaker 1: but we will do our personal ones. I saw the
- 54:05Speaker 1: story on Kaylyn Clark member bill. Yet it's been a
- 54:06Speaker 1: record setting year for Kaylin Clark both on and off
- 54:08Speaker 1: the basketball court, while setting records for rookie assists and
- 54:13Speaker 1: not only that total assists. I think he's the number
- 54:15Speaker 1: one assist leader and rookies or not and rookie three pointers,
- 54:19Speaker 1: and I think she's top three all time, maybe two maybe,
- 54:21Speaker 1: I think she's two all time in WNBA three pointers
- 54:24Speaker 1: all time rookie number two all time in three pointers.
- 54:26Speaker 4: Wow.
- 54:27Speaker 1: Her rookie car was sold for eighty four thousand dollars,
- 54:29Speaker 1: which we talked about, which is funny though her WNBA
- 54:32Speaker 1: salary is only seventy six thousand. Although she didn't get
- 54:35Speaker 1: the money for that rookie Cark right, somebody had it.
- 54:37Speaker 1: But it's been killing. And I told you guys, if
- 54:40Speaker 1: you remember that I got and I was bidding on
- 54:42Speaker 1: a Kaitlin Clark game one of her career that they lost.
- 54:47Speaker 1: They were playing the Connecticut Sun, and it's the ticket
- 54:53Speaker 1: greated by PSA A ten with an autograph on it
- 54:56Speaker 1: and I'm kind of into the ticket collectibles too, Like
- 54:58Speaker 1: I just got a Peyton Maning Super Bowl t I
- 55:00Speaker 1: get signed Peyton Manning super Bowl whatever, MVP and it's
- 55:03Speaker 1: great at ten. So I like tickets and have some
- 55:05Speaker 1: pretty cool ones. But I missed out on the auction,
- 55:09Speaker 1: meaning I bid on it. It got up to eleven
- 55:11Speaker 1: thousand dollars. I think it's what it went off at,
- 55:14Speaker 1: and I didn't. I didn't win it because I wasn't
- 55:16Speaker 1: just I wasn't well, I don't want to pay that
- 55:17Speaker 1: much money. I think I get like eight, And then
- 55:19Speaker 1: I went to bed, and the guy kept resetting the
- 55:21Speaker 1: bidding because as only as two of us, and every
- 55:23Speaker 1: time you bid again, it starts it over at thirty
- 55:24Speaker 1: minutes and extended bidding, so he kept dicking with me
- 55:29Speaker 1: where I'd get down to one second, I'm like a
- 55:30Speaker 1: one boom, he bet again, just try to wear me out.
- 55:33Speaker 1: So I didn't win, and I was always like, dang,
- 55:35Speaker 1: I wish I would have won that, And so one
- 55:39Speaker 1: other one exists as of now, and so I saw
- 55:43Speaker 1: it and I got on Golden Oh man, I'm locked
- 55:47Speaker 1: out of my app and so same thing. The seats
- 55:51Speaker 1: were a little better this ticket, but same thing. Great
- 55:54Speaker 1: is that?
- 55:54Speaker 4: Does that matter?
- 55:56Speaker 1: Your password has expired and must be reset inner verification code.
- 56:02Speaker 1: You know what's a good thing about these phones? Now
- 56:03Speaker 1: they'll put the verification code in like that bottom thing.
- 56:05Speaker 4: Yeah, and it's already it's already there.
- 56:06Speaker 1: You just click it.
- 56:08Speaker 4: Yeah, that's cool.
- 56:08Speaker 1: Sometimes it'll read you in your emails too, if you
- 56:10Speaker 1: get an email.
- 56:10Speaker 3: Do you ever do that?
- 56:11Speaker 4: Yeah, that's pretty cool.
- 56:12Speaker 1: Because text, I am like, oh, I guess it's in
- 56:14Speaker 1: my text, but it's like, don't get in my text,
- 56:15Speaker 1: everybody in the government. But then I'm like, okay, you
- 56:17Speaker 1: can Golden or whomever. So I saw all the one
- 56:22Speaker 1: come up, and I'm like, it was on a Saturday night,
- 56:24Speaker 1: and since I'm a loser, why not. So I got
- 56:29Speaker 1: on and I bid and let me put my code
- 56:32Speaker 1: in here. Boom, password, I gotta change my password back up.
- 56:38Speaker 1: I want to choose my own password. I'm gonna do Eddie,
- 56:44Speaker 1: it's awesome.
- 56:45Speaker 4: That's your password.
- 56:46Speaker 1: Nice, that's all my passwords. Okay, I'm in. I've updated
- 56:52Speaker 1: my password. Boom. I'm logging in back into Golden where
- 56:55Speaker 1: I love to do these auction sides. Yes, password and
- 56:58Speaker 1: so on Saturday night. I get in the bidden purchases.
- 57:02Speaker 1: There's nothing here, can't imagine. That's terrible. I got a
- 57:08Speaker 1: Cantlin Cark ticket this whole thing. So you did get
- 57:10Speaker 1: a ticket? Yeah, and I got it for about seven
- 57:14Speaker 1: thousand dollars less than the song.
- 57:16Speaker 4: That's awesome, Arry's catching it. Yeah, and you have to
- 57:19Speaker 4: stay up late.
- 57:19Speaker 1: I think I spent like forty five hundred bucks on
- 57:22Speaker 1: this one, which is a lot of money, but I
- 57:24Speaker 1: was ready for the other one. I also bought a
- 57:25Speaker 1: Caitlin Clark Angelry's dual signed both ten graded auto nine
- 57:30Speaker 1: point five card. Also got that and they're going on
- 57:34Speaker 1: eBay for like six thousand dollars. And I got this
- 57:35Speaker 1: at like forty two hundred, okay, and I don't plan
- 57:38Speaker 1: to flip it right now. I got one more thing.
- 57:43Speaker 1: Oh that that that that picture I showed you?
- 57:47Speaker 4: What was it?
- 57:48Speaker 1: Was it painting?
- 57:49Speaker 3: Oh?
- 57:49Speaker 4: That's a cool painting.
- 57:50Speaker 1: I think I don't know why I can't log into this.
- 57:54Speaker 1: So Mike, remember, did you got a New York with us?
- 58:00Speaker 4: I did not know.
- 58:00Speaker 1: That's why I felt weird asking you. We went to
- 58:02Speaker 1: New York. Uh, there was a dude read you know,
- 58:05Speaker 1: when the dude that did the paint you got one
- 58:07Speaker 1: of those? No, But I just was since then he
- 58:09Speaker 1: would like paying athletes and athletes would sign them. I
- 58:12Speaker 1: was interested in like that world, and so I went
- 58:14Speaker 1: and bought like a Jayden Read he's a packer wide receiver. Watson,
- 58:18Speaker 1: Christian Watson is one of those two Watson And it
- 58:21Speaker 1: was only like two hundred and fifty bucks. It's like four
- 58:23Speaker 1: feet tall, three feet wide. So Christian Watson painting that
- 58:25Speaker 1: he signed. And I really thought I wouldn't get it
- 58:27Speaker 1: because I was like, somebody, surely someone's gonna pay more
- 58:29Speaker 1: than that for that big painting. I got it.
- 58:30Speaker 4: That's awesome.
- 58:31Speaker 1: Those are three things I got. So I have nowhere
- 58:34Speaker 1: to put this stuff. I'd say you paid two hundred
- 58:36Speaker 1: thousand dollars for one of those. No, that was Michael,
- 58:38Speaker 1: like Michael Jordan.
- 58:39Speaker 4: Yeah, the Kobe Ones.
- 58:41Speaker 1: I wonder, why can't I don't see this stuff that
- 58:43Speaker 1: I bought? All right, let's take one more break, we'll
- 58:45Speaker 1: come back, all right. We didn't get a chance to cry,
- 58:54Speaker 1: And Casey, I was thinking about you because we had terrible,
- 58:57Speaker 1: terrible weekends. Arkansas last the second half the game Texas
- 59:01Speaker 1: A and MBT is miserable. I hate it. I hate everything.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Everything sucks, and we're kind of done now, Like we
- 59:06Speaker 1: can win some games, I guess, but we're probably not
- 59:09Speaker 1: going to win with our schedule coming up, which we
- 59:12Speaker 1: have Tennessee, we have all missed. There's only a few
- 59:14Speaker 1: games where I feel like, oh, we have a good shot.
- 59:16Speaker 1: Now we may surprise one of these teams. And I
- 59:18Speaker 1: hope we do, and I'll be rooting as hard as
- 59:19Speaker 1: I possibly can. But we blew another game that could
- 59:23Speaker 1: have set us up. Had we won this one, I
- 59:25Speaker 1: was I was miserable, but now I'm just the point
- 59:29Speaker 1: of acceptance that I'm going to be miserable. So I
- 59:31Speaker 1: wasn't affected as much because the expectation was there, and
- 59:35Speaker 1: that's even worse. So I'm back to that. Oh I'm
- 59:38Speaker 1: back to that. And so Arkansas lost. It was terrible
- 59:40Speaker 1: and I hate it, and I'm not going to the
- 59:42Speaker 1: Tennessee game. I was going to is that in? Uh yeah,
- 59:46Speaker 1: game day? No, it's it's and game Day was going
- 59:49Speaker 1: to come and we were already working on the guest
- 59:53Speaker 1: picker part of it or being a part of the
- 59:55Speaker 1: broadcast for me. But they lost, so not coming.
- 59:58Speaker 4: But but what are you? You don't want to go
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: to the game anyway, No.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: I don't want to say I'm not if I only
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: have a certain amount of free weekends and and I've
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: spent my money, I can't look cark tickets. So I
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: have to choose. If they had won, that would have
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: been the one i'd I'd have gone to that one.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: I still probably want to go to Texas, but it's
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: it makes me sick. And so the Jets lost on
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: a field goal. Yeah, they didn't score. They got to
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: be by bo Neicks. He's my hero.
- 1:00:24Speaker 6: Bix Courtland Sutton had more yards than bow Knicks when
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: they won. The game was like negative passing for negative passing.
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: In the third quarter, he had negative seven yards and
- 1:00:33Speaker 6: the Jets, Jets.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: That Greg the leg, had a chance to win it did.
- 1:00:39Speaker 6: It was horrible. I mean, I Breese Hall had like
- 1:00:42Speaker 6: the worst game of his career. He looked lost. He
- 1:00:43Speaker 6: was like he didn't pick up that blitz on that
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: one fourth down play.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: It was raining, but also rained for both teams to
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: be fair. But I'm saying like as far as like
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: no offensive output, you know, no outpouring of points or yards.
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: It was like a weird But do you think Roger's
- 1:00:58Speaker 6: green Bay? I don't know. I mean he think he's
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: used to playing the elements. Zach Wilson.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: They should have won. Yeah, I'm not saying they shouldn't
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: have won, but I'm saying the low offensive numbers I get,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: but they should have had more points than the freaking.
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: Broncos nine points.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: Yeah, when they when they're lining the kickup.
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: I gotta know if you're like me and you expect
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: it guaranteed, miss, you already knew that. I already knew
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: it was happening.
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I had money, and I was like, for sure,
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: we're gonna is it?
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: Yeah, Casey and I are the same with them.
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, we're sympathy going, yeah, we just expect to
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: lose because.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: We've had our hearts broken so many times. And why
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: we keep going back and allowing our hearts to be
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: put back together, I'll never.
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: Know because we Then Robert Silas just their clapping.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: You know, he was like maybe the cadence.
- 1:01:42Speaker 6: Yeah right, the thing that Aaron Rodgers is fames for,
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: let's he shouldn't do that anymore because the players are
- 1:01:46Speaker 6: too uh you know what?
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: And I like what Aaron Rodgers said, and I know
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: you always like what Aaron Rodger said. I think he
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: could come off interested poor at times. But Aaron Rodgers
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: is like, what if we just hold him accountable?
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: Right, And I was like, exactly, yeah, thirteen penalties on
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: the game too, fifteen penalties, thirteen accepted.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: So and it's all I don't like each other. No,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: you can now tell.
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: I mean he's a clown though, Salad. I mean all
- 1:02:10Speaker 6: he does is literally just clap. He just claps everyone
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: and you know, just lets everyone just you know, illegal formation.
- 1:02:16Speaker 6: Garrett Wilson doesn't know where he's supposed.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: To Begers does not like Garrett Wilson.
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: No, it's yeah, I mean back to reality. I see
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: he's quick.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: Fighting and training camp like the little side videos were
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: at it with each other, maybe not fighting, having a
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: stern word with Hi.
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: Yeah, he doesn't like him, and the Raiders are really
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: looking forward to tradeing DeVante Adams. I don't think there's
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: gonna play again, just from like listening to the stuff,
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: Like I was watching a Raiders guy on TikTok. It's
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: like one of their beat writers. He's like, I don't
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: think he plays again, and he's probably healthy because they
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: don't wan him to get hurt because they can't trade him.
- 1:02:47Speaker 6: Right, But I mean, we don't even need another wide receiver.
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: I feel like I feel like we need line help,
- 1:02:51Speaker 6: I mean, which is just there's just so many other
- 1:02:53Speaker 6: parts to this team that are broken.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Would you trade the non showing Hassan Reddick.
- 1:03:00Speaker 6: Yeah, if we can somehow get.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Well, you could. Yeah, for DeVonta Adams, would you make
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: that trade?
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: I mean I would, But with the Raiders do that
- 1:03:07Speaker 6: so then have to deal with that, I mean, I
- 1:03:08Speaker 6: guess they're also a.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: Train wreck, but that's it. They but they'll only do
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: if they if they're planning to pay them, Like that's
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: the issue in New York is it is the money.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: So the Raiders would only do that because they're seeing
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: is holding out. If they'd be willing to also pay
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: the contract.
- 1:03:19Speaker 6: I mean, I'd be thrilled if that happened. But I
- 1:03:22Speaker 6: don't know. We'll see. I mean, it's as think it's
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: going to be a long, long weekend here in London
- 1:03:27Speaker 6: coming up.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: It's gonna be rough planning for the Vikings, right, yep.
- 1:03:31Speaker 6: Undefeated Vikings, Sam Darnold.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: That's what they do Arkansas probably beat Tennessee, and yeah,
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: you know what, maybe Cheat will probably beat the Vikings.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: We'll be like, oh my god.
- 1:03:39Speaker 6: I'll be riding high and then Monday Night against the
- 1:03:41Speaker 6: Bills the following week.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: Weeks right then we give you about Lake Travis High
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: School the next week.
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: They're a good team, though, Lake Travis, and you can do,
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: you can do.
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: The Cowboys.
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: I mean the Cowboys were fine. I mean they won
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: by five points. I mean it was like it wasn't
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: much of a game. We still look bad and I
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: still don't really know what's going on over there. It's
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: just it's just they just look out whack.
- 1:04:00Speaker 5: Our defense is bad and the offense doesn't know how
- 1:04:03Speaker 5: to Just there's something going on between CD and DAK.
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: Maybe they just haven't practiced enough. I don't know what
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: it is. But the magic of the Cowboys that we've
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: had in years past is not there. And slowly I
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: look at the season being like this is just I
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: don't even know we'll make the playoffs this year, especially
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: with the.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: The division weak division though it is Eagles kind of suck, yeah,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: Giants suck. The Commanders are still the Commanders though, right,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: Like that's what I was saying to went wit Worth earlier.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: It was like, I know they're good, they'd have a
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: rookie quarterback. If they're still the Commanders. I can't really
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: see them winning a lot just because of what they've
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: taught us through history. So the Cowboys could win.
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: The division and then we're in the playoffs again. That's
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: all it takes to just lose one game. And this
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: would be when you win, like when you shouldn't. Dak
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: comes through and plays his guts out when they're expected
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: to lose.
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, and that's the NFL too, right, like
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: just building parlays for the NFL. Now, it's like I
- 1:05:00Speaker 5: look at like, all right, who hasn't won a game
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: in two weeks? Bet them to win.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: Unless it's Jacksonville.
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: I did that with the Titans on Monday Night football.
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: I did.
- 1:05:08Speaker 6: Yeah. I just had a feeling.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: They benched Levis last night.
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: I saw that.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: They said he was hurt, he's hurt.
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: Yeah, right, his shoulders like that, and then Mason Rudolph
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: went in play.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: Yeah, and then they ended up I fell asleep.
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: The ended up winning, right, Yes, they want they crushed
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: they want by long like thirty actually thirty, so I
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: fell asleep way before that. Dolphins couldn't do anything, fel
- 1:05:26Speaker 4: I didn't even look.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: At the score this morning because I just I figured
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: they want Yeah, Dolphins can do anything. It was frustrating
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: from what I saw, but so I turned it off.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: It was ugly. I turned off the first quarter because
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: I was like, I have nobody and this didn't miss
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: much was it was ugly. I turned off the Georgia
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: Alabama game at twenty three zero.
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: I think everyone did, right Like after halftime, You're like,
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: why am I going to watch the rest of this game.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: I went and made a big deal about it to
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: my wife, like, hey, I just want to spend time
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: with you. It really the game was a blowout. I
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: was like, let's just watch a show or something like
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: hang out here. So dope, and then like I go
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: to the bathroom, I'm flipping through Instagram and I see
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: the Georgia sideline erupting on a play and I'm like,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: what year is this?
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: One?
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: Game is this front? I'm like, oh my god, I
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: flip over. George's taking the lead. Alabama ends up winning.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: That seventeen year old receiver.
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: But crazy, what a what a game unbelievable.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: Game the two coaches, because if Alabama wins a national championship,
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: it's not about Nick Saban anymore, because Saban did when
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: won the last couple of years he was there.
- 1:06:23Speaker 5: Right, although all of Saban did leave him with a
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: pretty good team, right.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: Sure, Yeah, but again, he's not gonna come if it's
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: not a good team. It's not like it's a charity.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: Like he had something going on in Washington. For sure,
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: it was really good, so he didn't need the board,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: didn't need to come. But he wins everywhere. It's like
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: signetty or whatever. At Indiana, that's the next dude up,
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: Like whichever major program goes. If it's Ohio State, if
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: Ryan Day's out, like that's a dude that's got ball
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: so big. He'll take any big program that has expectations
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: and just go give them to me. I will win.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: The clip of him saying google me reminds me of
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: Toby Keith when he said that dice. He's like, do
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: I win? Google me? He went everywhere and Indiana's undefeated.
- 1:07:05Speaker 6: It's badass.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: He was Nick sabite recruiting coordinator and maybe wide receivers
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: coach on that staff. Whenever Kirby Smart was I think
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: defensive coordinator. But everywhere he's been it's and it's wild
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: to watch Indiana win. It's cool. I'm rooting for him.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: He's yell a little moxie about him.
- 1:07:22Speaker 5: Anyone that says google me, it's got some good confidence
- 1:07:24Speaker 5: going out.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: All right, So oh oh the I'll say this, Aubrey
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: is awesome Ki, But him missing that kick costs a
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: lot of people in money.
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: Yep, they didn't cover. They did not cover the spread.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: He doesn't miss.
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: Wait, well, what did you get? What did you get
- 1:07:39Speaker 4: that game at?
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Because most I didn't get any bet the game.
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: If you bet at pre game, it was it was
- 1:07:44Speaker 5: five not five and a half. So I think people
- 1:07:47Speaker 5: that kind of bet it right when the game started.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: It depends on what where you're betting at. Because most
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: people that I saw bet at pre and it was
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: a five and a half.
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: Okay, okay, Because I mean I pushed. It's like like
- 1:07:58Speaker 5: I didn't care if he made it or not. But man, yeah,
- 1:08:00Speaker 5: I can see how people can be upset about that.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: You didn't care, but if you would have made it,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: would have won, So you did care.
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: No, I pushed a push with me is like, thank god,
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: thank god.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: But you still care because you would have won. No,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: I get it, but whatever, we're on ten bucks, like
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: you use that one so that's a lot.
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: But a push to me is like you only did
- 1:08:15Speaker 6: one unit, wash my hands. I got my unit back, but.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: You cared because if it made it, you don't want
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: your money.
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: Yes, but it's not. It doesn't hurt so bad.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: Okay, that that I'll accept doesn't hurt.
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: So there a little bit, a little bit.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: That's money you didn't win. Maybe not money lost, the
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: money you didn't win.
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: Did you see a post malone at the game.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: With Brandon Aubrey signed his jersey? Was that last week?
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: Yeah, that was before that game.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: Oh it was before this Giants.
- 1:08:37Speaker 6: Yeah, the week before Thursday, last Thursday.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: Oh, that's why it feels weird because so long. It
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: feels like it was a long time. It was a
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: week ago, basic today, Tuesday. Okay, I think we're done here.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: Thanks to Andrew Worth coming on. That was pretty cool.
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: It was awesome.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: We should have Calvin Johnson on Thursday Friday. Really, whatever
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: show we do later in the week, Calvin Johnson lined.
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: Up let's go that gets one of the greatest.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: Go hopefully that also, Hugh Freeze, you suck good.
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: Go ahead.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: Like, first of all, Arkansas beats you at your house,
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: which you should be embarrassed off. Secondly, you have a
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: press conference like we play them nine more times, we
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: beat them nine and nine more times. You don't say that,
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: even if you feel that way, you don't say that.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: That's a douchey thing to say. Thirdly, you've got Oklahoma
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: barrel run and then you lose that game. You lose
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: that game. You also lost a cal this year. You're done, bro,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: You're done. Uh yeah, Hugh Freeze your garbage.
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: I said it, boom clip it.
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: Nah.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: I don't know if you do that. I don't know
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: if I'm ready for that. If I'm ready for that.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: All right, Thank you guys. We'll see you later on
