- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
- 0:04Speaker 1: In this episode, we're going to keep the deep dive
- 0:06Speaker 1: going into the unredacted new Epstein documents that have just
- 0:10Speaker 1: been dumped. And to do that, we're going to take
- 0:13Speaker 1: a look at the deposition of Tony Figueroa. Laura Meninger
- 0:18Speaker 1: is doing the questioning, and obviously Figueroa will be doing
- 0:22Speaker 1: the answering. Manager, and where did you go after Royal
- 0:26Speaker 1: Palm Beach? Answer? I believe it was South Area. I'm
- 0:30Speaker 1: pretty sure it was South Area. Manager. Did you go
- 0:33Speaker 1: to another school after that? Answer? Yeah, I went to
- 0:36Speaker 1: Gold Coast after that? Manager? Is that also in Royal
- 0:40Speaker 1: Palm Beach? Answer? No, that South Area was in lake Worth.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Gold Coast is in West Palm. They were both alternative schools. Manager.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Did you ever go to a Survivor's charter school? Answer? Yes,
- 0:53Speaker 1: I went there too. Manager. When did you go there? Answer?
- 0:56Speaker 1: I'm not exactly sure of the date, but it was
- 0:59Speaker 1: somewhere after either. I'm pretty sure it was maybe I
- 1:02Speaker 1: can't remember if it was Gold Coast first or Survivor,
- 1:06Speaker 1: but one of the I'm trying to remember. I honestly
- 1:08Speaker 1: don't remember which one came first. Manager, that's all right.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Can you describe for me Survivor's charter school. What is
- 1:16Speaker 1: it like or was it like? Answer? I mean, like
- 1:19Speaker 1: I said, it was an alternative school. It was just
- 1:23Speaker 1: pretty much a bunch of bad kids, you know, who
- 1:25Speaker 1: got kicked out of other schools. And it was pretty
- 1:28Speaker 1: much like the last chance kind of school. You know
- 1:30Speaker 1: what I mean, Manager, Does it look like a school? Answer?
- 1:34Speaker 1: Kind of. I mean it had like a cafeteria and
- 1:37Speaker 1: then it had a whole bunch of like portables and
- 1:39Speaker 1: stuff like that. And it was under It was like
- 1:42Speaker 1: right near Lakeworth. I remember there was like a bridge
- 1:46Speaker 1: that went over the interstate right by it. But I
- 1:48Speaker 1: mean it was just a little, you know, a little
- 1:51Speaker 1: crappy school. Manager. Was it during the day or at night? Answer?
- 1:56Speaker 1: It was during the day, Manager, so regular school hours
- 1:59Speaker 1: and sir, yeah, well it was actually a little bit
- 2:02Speaker 1: shorter hours. I can't remember exactly, but I know it
- 2:06Speaker 1: was not like full school days because I mean at
- 2:09Speaker 1: the alternative schools, it's obviously not up to regular high
- 2:12Speaker 1: school standards. I mean, they just do pretty much stuff
- 2:16Speaker 1: to get people to get out of school, you know.
- 2:18Speaker 1: So Manager, get the credits you need. Answer yeah, so
- 2:23Speaker 1: that way they can finish high school and not drop
- 2:26Speaker 1: out and whatnot. So Manager, you actually go there in
- 2:29Speaker 1: the morning though, and take classes? Answer yeah, Manager, and
- 2:34Speaker 1: get checked in at attendance. Answer yeah, Manager, and then
- 2:37Speaker 1: you may leave a little earlier than a regular school day.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Answer yeah, Manager. Alright, it's not an online program. Answer no,
- 2:45Speaker 1: it was not online. Manager. When you were at Survivor's
- 2:49Speaker 1: charter school? Did you ever see miss Roberts there? Answer?
- 2:52Speaker 1: Was it Survivors? I don't remember if it was Survivors
- 2:55Speaker 1: or was it because I'm pretty sure we were both
- 2:58Speaker 1: was it? I know we both went to one one
- 3:00Speaker 1: of the schools. I'm pretty sure it was Survivors? Maybe, Manager,
- 3:04Speaker 1: did you see her there? Answer now, when we went
- 3:07Speaker 1: to the school like we were together afterwards, But I
- 3:10Speaker 1: don't remember exactly which one it was. I know it
- 3:13Speaker 1: was one of those alternative schools that we went to, though, Menager, Okay,
- 3:17Speaker 1: did you was Wellington an alternative school? Answer No, Wellington
- 3:22Speaker 1: is a real high school. Manager. Do you know if
- 3:25Speaker 1: Wellington has an adult program? Answer they might. I mean,
- 3:29Speaker 1: I really don't know. I'm not sure. Manager. Did you
- 3:32Speaker 1: ever take any night classes there. Answer no, manager. Do
- 3:36Speaker 1: you believe when you reunited with miss Roberts in or
- 3:39Speaker 1: around two thousand and one, she had also gone to
- 3:41Speaker 1: one of those alternative schools answer when I reunited with her? No,
- 3:46Speaker 1: we ended up like trying to go to finish school. Manager,
- 3:49Speaker 1: tell me about that. Answer I mean, we just ended
- 3:52Speaker 1: up going to one of those alternative schools and didn't
- 3:55Speaker 1: even finish that. Menager, So you two had both left
- 3:58Speaker 1: school but went back together. Answer yeah, manager to one
- 4:03Speaker 1: of the alternative schools. Answer yeah, manager, and that may
- 4:07Speaker 1: have been Survivor's charter school. Answer yeah, I'm pretty sure
- 4:11Speaker 1: it probably was. I'm pretty sure manager. You both wanted
- 4:15Speaker 1: to get your GEDs. Answer yeah, manager, to get better jobs.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Answer affirmative manager, things like that was the plan. Answer yeah, manager,
- 4:26Speaker 1: but it did not work out. Answer yeah, manager. Do
- 4:30Speaker 1: you know how long the two of you went to
- 4:31Speaker 1: Survivor's charter school? Answer I honestly don't remember, menager. Okay,
- 4:36Speaker 1: you do have a recollection of going with her though,
- 4:39Speaker 1: Answer yeah, manager, seeing her there. Answer affirmative manager. I'm
- 4:44Speaker 1: trying to get a little bit of time frame from
- 4:47Speaker 1: the time you reunited with Mims Roberts I know you
- 4:49Speaker 1: said you lived you remember being in an apartment with
- 4:52Speaker 1: her in September of two thousand nine to eleven, two
- 4:55Speaker 1: thousand and one, right, answer yeah, manager. Do you think
- 4:59Speaker 1: that you had been together with her for a while
- 5:01Speaker 1: at that point? Answer it was probably I'd say like
- 5:04Speaker 1: a month or so, Like I'm pretty sure, because it
- 5:07Speaker 1: was not long after I had moved in, so Menager.
- 5:11Speaker 1: And just to be clear, she already lived in the apartment.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Answer yeah, she lived in the apartment with her ex
- 5:17Speaker 1: boyfriend Michael and JJ, and I think there was somebody else.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I don't remember who though. Menager. All right, that's where
- 5:24Speaker 1: she was living when you reunited with her. Answer yeah, manager,
- 5:28Speaker 1: And then you moved in? Answer yeah, Manager. Did the
- 5:31Speaker 1: other people move out? Answer? Yeah, I kicked them out. Menager.
- 5:36Speaker 1: How long did you live there with miss Roberts Answer
- 5:39Speaker 1: I think it was just till like the end of
- 5:41Speaker 1: the lease, so it was probably maybe like five or
- 5:44Speaker 1: six months. I'm pretty sure. I don't know. I'm not
- 5:46Speaker 1: exactly sure on the whole timeframe. Menager. That's okay, I
- 5:50Speaker 1: understand it was a little while ago. Answer yeah, Manager.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Where did you two move from there? Answer? I believe
- 5:57Speaker 1: we either we went to her it was either her
- 5:59Speaker 1: family or mine. It was either one of the two,
- 6:02Speaker 1: and then we ended up getting another. We were renting
- 6:05Speaker 1: a house out and locks of Hatchie also eventually but
- 6:08Speaker 1: also stayed in a little trailer behind her parents' house. Manager,
- 6:12Speaker 1: When did your relationship with miss Roberts end the second time? Answer?
- 6:16Speaker 1: When she went to Thailand and brief interruption answer never
- 6:20Speaker 1: heard from her again? Court reporter, I'm sorry, can you renswer? Answer? Yeah,
- 6:25Speaker 1: when Jeffrey sent her to Thailand and then I never
- 6:28Speaker 1: heard from her again until freaking like two days ago. Manager,
- 6:32Speaker 1: you heard from her two days ago? Answer? Yeah, she
- 6:35Speaker 1: had called me to apologize about obviously everything about me
- 6:38Speaker 1: getting dragged into this mess, and we talked just pretty
- 6:41Speaker 1: much about, you know, the way shit ended, and pretty
- 6:44Speaker 1: much tried just her apologizing mainly about dragging me all
- 6:48Speaker 1: into this and having to make me get you know,
- 6:51Speaker 1: knowing how I have my family and stuff now, and
- 6:54Speaker 1: that was pretty much it. So Manager another instant connection.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Answer Uh huh, Menager, From the time Miss Roberts left
- 7:02Speaker 1: to go to Thailand until today, have you seen her?
- 7:05Speaker 1: Answer Nope, And to be honest, it still does not
- 7:08Speaker 1: even feel real that she's sitting there across from me. Menager, Well,
- 7:12Speaker 1: you offered to get in touch with her a couple
- 7:14Speaker 1: of times. Answer I know, but like I said, it's
- 7:16Speaker 1: just it still does not seem like it's actually happening,
- 7:20Speaker 1: Like she's I don't know, it's like talking to a
- 7:22Speaker 1: ghost or seeing one manager. Does she look different now?
- 7:26Speaker 1: Answer yeah? Manager? How answer just more mature, more older. Manager.
- 7:32Speaker 1: When you were with miss Roberts the first time in
- 7:34Speaker 1: nineteen ninety eight, answer uh huh. Menager, you believe that
- 7:37Speaker 1: relationship lasted just a couple of weeks. Answer yeah, I'm
- 7:41Speaker 1: not exactly sure, but it was pretty brief. Answer I
- 7:45Speaker 1: believe so, yes, Menager, What did she tell you about that?
- 7:49Speaker 1: So it jumps again to a different part of his deposition.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Answer I think I think that maybe he I mean,
- 7:55Speaker 1: I don't know exactly. I don't really remember. I remember
- 7:58Speaker 1: hearing about him, but I don't don't remember what she
- 8:00Speaker 1: said about him. Menager. Did Miss Roberts ever tell you
- 8:04Speaker 1: that she had met al Gore? Answer not that I'm
- 8:06Speaker 1: aware of. Menager. Did Miss Roberts ever tell you that
- 8:10Speaker 1: she had met a foreign president? Answer? I'm not sure.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I'm not sure. Menager. Did miss Roberts ever tell you
- 8:16Speaker 1: she had met a prime minister? Answer? I don't know. Menager.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Did Miss Roberts ever tell you she had met a senator? Answer?
- 8:22Speaker 1: Not that I'm aware of. I mean, she's told me
- 8:25Speaker 1: that she met a bunch of people before and after
- 8:27Speaker 1: it started becoming like an almost everyday thing about just
- 8:30Speaker 1: hearing about famous people with Jeffrey and stuff like that.
- 8:33Speaker 1: It's like I kind of didn't like tone it out,
- 8:36Speaker 1: but it just it became normal. So I just stopped
- 8:39Speaker 1: like listening to all the details because I was not
- 8:42Speaker 1: going to meet these people, you know what I mean.
- 8:44Speaker 1: It's just like, all right, Menager, was she excited that
- 8:47Speaker 1: she was meeting famous people? Answer? Yeah, Manager, Was that
- 8:51Speaker 1: a job berk? Answer? Obviously, Menager, she talked about it
- 8:55Speaker 1: a lot. Answer yeah, Manager, to the point where you
- 8:58Speaker 1: were drowning it out? Answer, Well, that's what I'm saying.
- 9:02Speaker 1: It was not like I was drowning it out. It's
- 9:05Speaker 1: just I knew that she was with Jeffrey, and she
- 9:07Speaker 1: was obviously well connected with everybody, So it was not like,
- 9:11Speaker 1: you know, a special occasion per se. You know, it was,
- 9:14Speaker 1: but it's not like it was. It was not very rare.
- 9:16Speaker 1: So manager, did she ever show you any photographs of
- 9:19Speaker 1: herself with famous people? Answer no, Manager. Did you see
- 9:23Speaker 1: a photograph of her with Prince Andrew? Answer yes, Manager,
- 9:27Speaker 1: in her possession, and then it cuts off once again,
- 9:31Speaker 1: back to the next set of questions. Menager, Mister Figueroa,
- 9:36Speaker 1: you mentioned that you and Miss Roberts attempted to go
- 9:39Speaker 1: back to school while you were together. Answer yes, Manager
- 9:42Speaker 1: to get your ged answer yeah, yes, menager. And you
- 9:46Speaker 1: believe that you went to the Survivor's charter school? Answer yes, Menager. Okay,
- 9:51Speaker 1: I'm going to mark defendants Exhibit six. Menager, this is
- 9:55Speaker 1: a school record for Miss Roberts that lists the names
- 9:58Speaker 1: of various schools and answer so it was Survivors. Obviously,
- 10:02Speaker 1: that's the only one on that list that isn't or
- 10:04Speaker 1: that's there that's on mine as well. Menager, Okay, answer
- 10:09Speaker 1: other than that one. But manager, alright, so you recognize
- 10:12Speaker 1: Survivor charter school on Miss Robert's school records. Answer yeah,
- 10:16Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying. Since that one is the one
- 10:19Speaker 1: on there, then that's completely clear. I cannot remember if
- 10:22Speaker 1: it was the one or Gold Coast. Manager, Okay, there
- 10:25Speaker 1: is an entry date for miss Roberts at Survivor's charter
- 10:29Speaker 1: school of ten twelve two thousand and one, and a
- 10:31Speaker 1: withdrawal on three seven of two. Do you see that? Answer,
- 10:35Speaker 1: I mean it's this right, I mean that's the top Manager,
- 10:39Speaker 1: the entry date of ten twelve zero one withdrawal three
- 10:42Speaker 1: seven oh two at Survivors. Answer Okay, I did not
- 10:46Speaker 1: know that those numbers. I did not realize that that
- 10:48Speaker 1: was the date. Menager. I understand, and I know you
- 10:51Speaker 1: did not make this record. So I'm just wanting to
- 10:54Speaker 1: know if that's consistent with your recollection that you guys
- 10:57Speaker 1: went to school in the fall of twenty eleven into
- 11:00Speaker 1: till the he interrupts her. Here, Yeah, that sounds about right,
- 11:03Speaker 1: Menager continues, March of two thousand and two. It sounds right.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Answer yeah, manager, And you both went to school together,
- 11:10Speaker 1: answer yeah, Manager in the mornings. Answer yeah, Manager, and
- 11:16Speaker 1: got out of school at some earlier time than a
- 11:18Speaker 1: regular school day. Answer yeah. Manager. Do you recall miss
- 11:22Speaker 1: Roberts going to Royal Pombee Chai again, this is in
- 11:25Speaker 1: the two thousand and one timeframe. Answer I don't. I
- 11:29Speaker 1: don't recall, I really don't. Manager. Do you recall her
- 11:32Speaker 1: during the time you were with her taking any night
- 11:35Speaker 1: classes at Wellington? I answer, I don't recall, Manager, Is
- 11:40Speaker 1: it possible? Answer it's a possibility, mister Edwards, objective form. Manager.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Do you know whether Wellington has a night school program? Answer?
- 11:50Speaker 1: Like I said before, I don't know they could. Manager,
- 11:54Speaker 1: you went there in ninth grade? Answer, yeah, it was
- 11:57Speaker 1: during the day, though I have no clue about night school. Manager,
- 12:02Speaker 1: got it. But you do have a memory of Survivor's
- 12:04Speaker 1: charter school, and that is where the deposition cuts off.
- 12:08Speaker 1: So it gives you a bit of insight into Tony Figueroa,
- 12:11Speaker 1: what he was up to and what his role in
- 12:14Speaker 1: all of this allegedly was. And really that's what all
- 12:18Speaker 1: of these documents do. They give us more context and
- 12:21Speaker 1: they give us a better look inside the dark shadows
- 12:25Speaker 1: of Jeffrey Epstein's operation. All right, folks, that's gonna do
- 12:29Speaker 1: it for this one. And all of the information that
- 12:31Speaker 1: goes with this episode can be found in the description box.
