- 2:41Speaker 3: to seven of the Mountain Wild and Wonderful Classic Rock
- 2:43Speaker 3: is there for their annual Pumpkin drop. Oh Steven, good
- 2:46Speaker 3: morning and welcome to the show.
- 2:48Speaker 5: Good morning, Hold on as Cedar you Christian Academy Drop
- 2:51Speaker 5: one is good, good morning day. You know what good
- 2:58Speaker 5: I'm good. I'm in the process of judging pumpkins dropping pumpkins.
- 3:03Speaker 5: We have the linemen from ABT and Verizon here in
- 3:07Speaker 5: Frontier and we have over fifty volunteers, over one hundred
- 3:11Speaker 5: drops today are going to happen with over thirty different schools.
- 3:15Speaker 3: So now explain exactly what is this pumpkin drop this
- 3:18Speaker 3: has gone on for several years, and explain exactly what
- 3:22Speaker 3: happens here other than just watching pumpkins attempt to defy gravity.
- 3:27Speaker 5: Well, it's part of the STEM program. Hold on and
- 3:29Speaker 5: we have going up in the air as Charleston Nature
- 3:32Speaker 5: School Drop one. So they have been in science class
- 3:36Speaker 5: STEM class and they're using sustainable products, you know, stuff
- 3:40Speaker 5: we would normally throw away and using recycled items that
- 3:46Speaker 5: to help protect the pumpkins conceivably on its drop from
- 3:50Speaker 5: fifty feet in the air, which is you don't think
- 3:53Speaker 5: is very high, but once the velocity of this thing drops,
- 3:56Speaker 5: depending on the weights, it makes a very loud uh uh.
- 4:01Speaker 5: And it's a great event because the kids they're in
- 4:03Speaker 5: competition with each other with the other schools, and there's
- 4:06Speaker 5: trophies to be had and some cash prizes and things
- 4:10Speaker 5: like that for incentives to help pay for what they're doing.
- 4:13Speaker 5: But it's also a great learning experience.
- 4:15Speaker 3: So basically, here's the way I understand this thing. And
- 4:18Speaker 3: I had you on the you've MCD this thing for
- 4:20Speaker 3: how many years? A lot of years?
- 4:21Speaker 6: Right?
- 4:22Speaker 5: Uh? Eight maybe eight years?
- 4:24Speaker 3: Yeah, And of course, so basically what they ask these
- 4:28Speaker 3: these students to do is, as you said, they drop pumpkins. Uh,
- 4:34Speaker 3: but they they're asked to build something that is supposed
- 4:36Speaker 3: to protect the pumpkins from being obliterated. Is that is
- 4:40Speaker 3: that a fair assessment?
- 4:43Speaker 5: Yes? Exactly. So what they are I mean, they could
- 4:46Speaker 5: use a box like people have used coolers. You know,
- 4:50Speaker 5: it could be toads. I've seen h some building products
- 4:53Speaker 5: from loads like uh like some are wrapped in duct tape,
- 4:58Speaker 5: some are wrapped in twat. So really a creative process
- 5:02Speaker 5: here what they do to make this day a fun event.
- 5:06Speaker 5: And like I've got a couple more pumpkins going up
- 5:09Speaker 5: in the air right now, which is awesome.
- 5:11Speaker 3: And I do want to mention doctor Casey Sacksonbridge Valley,
- 5:13Speaker 3: the president of that their fine institution. It's going to talk.
- 5:17Speaker 3: We're gonna talk to her later today on Metro News
- 5:19Speaker 3: midday and again she'll be on a local show tomorrow.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Sounds like a good time. How many kids approximately are there?
- 5:24Speaker 3: Just give me a ballpark or how many schools or
- 5:26Speaker 3: however you want to quantify it, I would say.
- 5:29Speaker 5: Right now I am looking at close to two hundred
- 5:32Speaker 5: and fifty kids, close to three hundred. We're still waiting
- 5:35Speaker 5: on quite a few more buses to get here. So
- 5:38Speaker 5: it's going to be awesome. Hold on one second, you
- 5:40Speaker 5: guys ready to drop it. Let's come down with me.
- 5:44Speaker 5: Let's do this. Three two? What drop them? That was
- 5:55Speaker 5: the fun? Oh that one hit pretty hard? Guys, you
- 5:58Speaker 5: think it'd be all right? What you got? All right?
- 6:04Speaker 5: You go, Steam team? I like it. I like it.
- 6:06Speaker 5: But yeah, here today, this is awesome.
- 6:09Speaker 3: I have I have entered another realm, I think this morning.
- 6:12Speaker 3: I mean I checked in with you last year, but
- 6:14Speaker 3: I don't know. We actually had pumpkins dropping last year.
- 6:17Speaker 3: So shades of the Turkey drop on w k RP
- 6:20Speaker 3: in Cincinnati right now. But it's pumpkins right.
- 6:23Speaker 5: Yes, very much, very much though so different schools from
- 6:26Speaker 5: all over the state. Right now, I'm looking at Cedar
- 6:29Speaker 5: View Christian Academy three. They have a couple of drops
- 6:32Speaker 5: here and then coming up on deck right now, I'm
- 6:35Speaker 5: running over here to see who we have here. We
- 6:39Speaker 5: have Charleston Nature School, They've got a drop here and
- 6:42Speaker 5: then they have a couple of drops. So Hayes Middle
- 6:46Speaker 5: School has already dropped. We do have some pumpkins on
- 6:50Speaker 5: the table that have survived, like New River they've got
- 6:54Speaker 5: a few in their Hayes Middle they've got their East
- 6:56Speaker 5: Fairmont survived. So yeah, it's and it's just getting underway.
- 7:01Speaker 3: So well, how how soon until we have another drop?
- 7:04Speaker 3: Because that was good radio right here? I want to
- 7:06Speaker 3: do this again? How soon?
- 7:08Speaker 5: Coming up in just a minute like the Linemen, and
- 7:11Speaker 5: they have alignment school here at Bridge Valley, so it's
- 7:14Speaker 5: part of the training you can actually you know they're
- 7:17Speaker 5: looking for people to do this. You know a lot
- 7:19Speaker 5: of these older guys are you know, aging out. They
- 7:22Speaker 5: need new people to come to the table and their
- 7:25Speaker 5: program in conjunction with Frontier and ap uh. You know,
- 7:29Speaker 5: there's there's fifty guys here that are in this program.
- 7:33Speaker 5: They're all wearing safety vests here and this is what
- 7:36Speaker 5: they're going to be doing somedays. So you know, with
- 7:38Speaker 5: all the power outages and whether we have around here,
- 7:41Speaker 5: it's so you know, it's needed for sure.
- 7:44Speaker 3: So absolutely are we getting ready for another one?
- 7:48Speaker 5: Yeah, Charleston Nature one unfortunately is a splat.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Oh No, we had a splat there.
- 7:57Speaker 5: Yeah, we had a splat all that. We're on boxing.
- 8:01Speaker 3: One more okay, all right, one more, we'll do one
- 8:03Speaker 3: more live and.
- 8:04Speaker 5: We'll let you Yeah, hold on, we're under wrapping this.
- 8:08Speaker 5: And unfortunately the other one too, use a flat slat
- 8:15Speaker 5: all right, back to the drawing board. Yeah, so when
- 8:18Speaker 5: it's flats, you know, it gets uh, you know, tossed,
- 8:22Speaker 5: so to speak. So they're raising a couple more right now.
- 8:26Speaker 5: They're on their way up. But yeah, this is really
- 8:28Speaker 5: a neat program. Uh, like I said, all sorts of sponsors,
- 8:31Speaker 5: including TC Energy, Toyota. Our other sponsors include US Methanol,
- 8:37Speaker 5: a CNS Incorporated, ZMM Architects, Innsmore, Charleston Blueprint, like I said,
- 8:42Speaker 5: at the City of Charleston, East Coast Teeth, and of
- 8:45Speaker 5: course the ballpark. So it's uh, it's just a great day,
- 8:50Speaker 5: great community effort of everybody coming out for this, a
- 8:53Speaker 5: lot of fun, all them up in the air. Guys.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Now, I said, now, now is this actually bridgeval Is
- 9:00Speaker 3: it at the ballpark?
- 9:01Speaker 5: This is at the ball Okay, okay.
- 9:03Speaker 3: All right, I said that you were a bridge Valley.
- 9:05Speaker 3: I'm sorry, I'm.
- 9:05Speaker 5: Sure School two and three going up in the air.
- 9:08Speaker 3: All right, here we go. Let's let's do one more.
- 9:10Speaker 3: I'm addicted to this.
- 9:11Speaker 5: Now call it Steve, call it well, they're hauling it
- 9:14Speaker 5: up right now. Can you ask for a moment?
- 9:17Speaker 3: Can you give me one of those oh my god,
- 9:20Speaker 3: the humanity type things? Can you do that?
- 9:23Speaker 5: Yeah? I'm sure, I want to sure I will be
- 9:26Speaker 5: able to do.
- 9:26Speaker 3: I want to Hindenburg. I want a Hindenburg type announcement.
- 9:30Speaker 5: Here, Stave, Are you sure well?
- 9:35Speaker 3: I mean, we are running delay on you because you're
- 9:37Speaker 3: Steve Animal, So just so.
- 9:38Speaker 5: You know, and I got to tell you, I have
- 9:41Speaker 5: a one hundred people here, one hundred kids here from
- 9:43Speaker 5: the Mountaineer Challenge Academy. They've got some submissions and some
- 9:47Speaker 5: of theirs have passed through, so it's really just a
- 9:49Speaker 5: cool day. The last fox that went down actually had
- 9:52Speaker 5: a pizza fox at the bottom. That pizza is obviously flat.
- 9:56Speaker 5: So hold on, let's do this again. You guys ready
- 9:58Speaker 5: for the next drive, but come down with me and three.
- 10:04Speaker 5: I know you're hype ready kind of with me. Three? Two?
- 10:08Speaker 5: Why drop them? The humanity? Humanity?
- 10:18Speaker 3: This one's gonna win a Marconi Award. I can tell
- 10:20Speaker 3: you that right now? All right, Steve, you better get
- 10:23Speaker 3: back to it. But we had a question here. Somebody wondered,
- 10:26Speaker 3: you know, what happens to the pumpkins afterwards? Do anybody know?
- 10:29Speaker 5: So the pumpkins that obviously haven't splatted all over the
- 10:33Speaker 5: place get to go home with their rightful owners if
- 10:36Speaker 5: they do want to take most of them and go
- 10:38Speaker 5: home with the kids that have put them together. So
- 10:42Speaker 5: right now, what's happening after the drop is they're cutting
- 10:45Speaker 5: through the boxes. So right now, hold on which one
- 10:48Speaker 5: is this? All right? So all right, Charleston, I'm sorry.
- 10:58Speaker 5: All right, we're going into another box.
- 11:00Speaker 3: So okay, we'll let you get back to it there.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Somebody was suggesting that maybe they could take the leftover
- 11:05Speaker 3: pumpkin if heeded to animals or something. I don't know
- 11:07Speaker 3: whether that's I'm.
- 11:09Speaker 5: Not sure what they're doing with the backside of stuff.
- 11:12Speaker 5: I know the city of Charleston is helping with the
- 11:14Speaker 5: wayst side of things. Okay, you know they're bothered them
- 11:17Speaker 5: up to come down and find.
- 11:18Speaker 3: Out all going on over the ballpark. All right, yeah,
- 11:21Speaker 3: all right, Steve, I'll let you get back to it there. Now,
- 11:24Speaker 3: are you dressed in you have like goggles and stuff
- 11:27Speaker 3: and like protective headwear and things of that nature.
- 11:30Speaker 5: Now the lineman, I'll do okay, not you, I am
- 11:34Speaker 5: open game. Well, well I'm running like Daffy Duck out
- 11:38Speaker 5: of Funny Humber Fudd shooting ring. Well.
- 11:42Speaker 3: They figure that if you've survived as long as you
- 11:44Speaker 3: have living the lifestyle that you have as a rock
- 11:46Speaker 3: and roll disc jockey, you can pretty much you can
- 11:48Speaker 3: pretty much survive anything.
- 11:50Speaker 5: Uh. And I have a right like this one Stone
- 11:54Speaker 5: Henge Academy.
- 11:55Speaker 3: Is Stonehenge Academy, Ryan Style and Cooper Hawk.
- 12:00Speaker 5: So all these little schools around the region coming in.
- 12:03Speaker 5: That's really awesome.
- 12:04Speaker 3: So all right, and what times it all wrap up today? Approximately?
- 12:07Speaker 5: Probably around around.
- 12:09Speaker 3: There, okay, And we're going to have doctor Casey Sachs
- 12:11Speaker 3: on Metro News midday later today. All right, Steve, get
- 12:14Speaker 3: back to it man. Uh and uh And And as
- 12:17Speaker 3: David Letterman would say, as always, no wagering, no wa dreaming, no.
- 12:21Speaker 5: Wag dering, no not at all. Day brother, thank you
- 12:25Speaker 5: very much.
- 12:26Speaker 3: I cannot think of a better person to be out
- 12:29Speaker 3: there as they're dropping pumpkins at Goimart Ballpark right now
- 12:32Speaker 3: than that, Steve Animal I do want to mention that
- 12:35Speaker 3: Steve is going to be live once he gets all
- 12:38Speaker 3: the pumpkins juice off of him. He's going to be

- 15:42Speaker 3: It seems a bunch of them. We're dropping pumpkins by
- 15:45Speaker 3: the names mentioned. I do not, but I got a
- 15:47Speaker 3: Google machine here so well, so if you can get
- 15:49Speaker 3: an answer for that a little bit later on, maybe
- 15:52Speaker 3: Ryan could look that up. How many charter schools are
- 15:55Speaker 3: there in the state. Just if you'd look, if you could,
- 15:57Speaker 3: if you could use your Google machine, I'd appreciate it,
- 15:59Speaker 3: because I'm amply can't do two things at once. Tex

- 16:06Speaker 3: hundred and forty six pounds this year from California. Six
- 16:11Speaker 3: charter schools. Ryan tails me, Thank you, Ryan, Ryan. Senior
- 16:13Speaker 3: producer Ryan Nicholson. There are six charter schools in the

- 16:33Speaker 8: Good morning, Dave, thank you for having me on.
- 16:35Speaker 3: I'm sorry you had to follow up Steve Animal. You know,
- 16:38Speaker 3: katsup pulling pumpkins from not from the top of but
- 16:42Speaker 3: actually they're a Bridge val I mean they're not at
- 16:44Speaker 3: Bridge Valley. And why keep saying they're at the ballpark?
- 16:46Speaker 3: Go Mark Ballpark, right, sponsor by Bridge Valley.
- 16:48Speaker 8: Well, I mean, how do you follow up and act
- 16:50Speaker 8: like that? I guess a good way to bridge the
- 16:52Speaker 8: gap is through cocktails and.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Food, right, yeah, yeah, Because when you think Steve Animal,
- 16:56Speaker 3: you think that's the dang short years. Is this a
- 17:00Speaker 3: particular events been going on?
- 17:02Speaker 8: So this is our sixth year, six year.
- 17:04Speaker 3: I thought he'd been a few years. So I've talked
- 17:05Speaker 3: about it in the past. Before we talk about what's
- 17:07Speaker 3: going to happen on Saturday, I want to talk about
- 17:09Speaker 3: Fun for the Arts. What exactly is Fun for the Arts?
- 17:11Speaker 8: So Fun for the Arts we are a local nonprofit
- 17:14Speaker 8: and Our sole drive is to raise money for eleven
- 17:17Speaker 8: local arts groups, and those arts groups vary in.
- 17:20Speaker 4: What they do.
- 17:21Speaker 8: We have Children's Theater, West Virginia Youth Symphony, Friends of
- 17:24Speaker 8: Old Time Music and Dance. So we really exist to
- 17:27Speaker 8: raise money for those groups so they can go out
- 17:30Speaker 8: and put on the best programming possible for the citizens
- 17:33Speaker 8: of our valley.
- 17:33Speaker 3: All right, so what's going to happen on Saturday here
- 17:36Speaker 3: in this Capitol Cocktail Classic? How does it work? Break
- 17:38Speaker 3: it all down for us?
- 17:39Speaker 8: Yeah, so this is a super fun event. So picture
- 17:42Speaker 8: like upscale pub crawl, but with cocktails and appetizers, and
- 17:47Speaker 8: you get to vote for your favorite at the end
- 17:49Speaker 8: of the night. And we have some of Charleston's best
- 17:52Speaker 8: downtown bars and restaurants participating in this, and so patrons
- 17:56Speaker 8: are able to go from venue to venue, sample a
- 17:59Speaker 8: six at your cocktail and appetizer, and then they vote
- 18:03Speaker 8: for their favorite at the end.
- 18:04Speaker 9: Of the night.
- 18:04Speaker 3: And all sorts of four o'clock Downtown. Give us some
- 18:06Speaker 3: of the places that are taking part.
- 18:08Speaker 8: Yeah, so it's Five Street Brewing, Sam's Uptown Cafe, Haggie's
- 18:13Speaker 8: are Irish Pie Pub, and the Voltstead Room. So we
- 18:17Speaker 8: have a fantastic lineup. Some of those places maybe some
- 18:20Speaker 8: Charlestonians haven't been in before, so it's a really great
- 18:22Speaker 8: opportunity to get out and walk around the city and
- 18:25Speaker 8: have a great night.
- 18:26Speaker 3: But some of those are relatively new, I mean the
- 18:29Speaker 3: the Irish Pub being one of those. I mean by new,
- 18:31Speaker 3: I mean over the last couple of years, and they're
- 18:32Speaker 3: relatively new. Yeah, this is their first time, their first
- 18:35Speaker 3: year taking part of it, yep.
- 18:36Speaker 8: Yeah, and they're super excited to be on. And I
- 18:38Speaker 8: tell you, these places do a fantastic job with their pairings.
- 18:41Speaker 8: They take great pride in what they're serving, their cocktails
- 18:44Speaker 8: and their appetizers. Like I've sampled all of them.
- 18:48Speaker 3: And well, somebody's got to do it.
- 18:49Speaker 8: I mean, somebody's got to do the hard work. I mean,
- 18:51Speaker 8: you know, pave the way. And let me tell you,
- 18:54Speaker 8: they've all knocked it out of the park. People are
- 18:56Speaker 8: going to have a hard time deciding because they're bringing it.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Can you give us some example of some of the
- 19:00Speaker 3: things are going to be serving. Do you have that yet?
- 19:02Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 19:02Speaker 8: Of course. So so, like you mentioned Haggie, so their
- 19:06Speaker 8: first year participating, they're going to do like a a
- 19:10Speaker 8: pair cocktail and it's paired with a Reuben pasty and
- 19:16Speaker 8: it is so good. The full Stead Room also their
- 19:20Speaker 8: first year, they are doing a like a pershudo ricotta appetizer.
- 19:27Speaker 3: You could stop right there.
- 19:28Speaker 8: Yeah, it's fantastic, so so good.
- 19:33Speaker 3: It sounds good. And what about some of the other
- 19:35Speaker 3: cocktails that we have.
- 19:36Speaker 8: Yeah, so we have a Kalamoto, which is one of
- 19:40Speaker 8: apparently one of Lady Gaga's favorite drinks. That's Sam's is
- 19:43Speaker 8: doing that and it's like wine with cola.
- 19:46Speaker 3: It's very do you know, oddly enough, I don't know
- 19:48Speaker 3: the first thing about Lady Gogad, but I did. I
- 19:50Speaker 3: did read an article about that not long ago about
- 19:54Speaker 3: about that, and it seems to me that that is
- 19:57Speaker 3: a very odd pairing wine and cola. But but I
- 20:00Speaker 3: think I don't. I think I think it was in
- 20:02Speaker 3: the Wall Street Journal they were talking about these different
- 20:04Speaker 3: cocktails and that they mentioned Lady god God by name,
- 20:07Speaker 3: and it just kind of triggered that memory when you
- 20:08Speaker 3: mentioned that. Seems to me like a very very wild
- 20:11Speaker 3: pairing wine and cola.
- 20:13Speaker 8: But you wouldn't think it would be good. But let
- 20:15Speaker 8: me tell you, it is delicious and it pairs really
- 20:18Speaker 8: well with the appetizer that they're serving, which is like
- 20:21Speaker 8: a beef tenderloin medallion.
- 20:22Speaker 3: So it's just like, so, what kind I'm just kind
- 20:25Speaker 3: of curious about this? What kind of wine? And what
- 20:27Speaker 3: kind of cola? I mean, do we have any idea
- 20:29Speaker 3: or like what?
- 20:30Speaker 10: What?
- 20:31Speaker 5: Now?
- 20:31Speaker 8: You got me there? Well, well, we'd have to ask PG.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Well, PG, if you're listening, you know, let us know.
- 20:37Speaker 3: I'd like to know about that. And Ryan, if you
- 20:38Speaker 3: can run out and get us some wine and some
- 20:40Speaker 3: cold we're gonna try some of these on the air.
- 20:41Speaker 8: Okay, exactly. You know, maybe we need to go through
- 20:44Speaker 8: a couple of different pairings to see what works best.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Well, it's going to be a long day for me,
- 20:48Speaker 3: so I cann't have time. I can't do that right now.
- 20:51Speaker 3: It is a little early, Yeah, it is. It is
- 20:52Speaker 3: a little early. Although I was reading our talk a
- 20:57Speaker 3: little shop here our sister station, one of our sisters,
- 21:00Speaker 3: ninety six to one KWUS Robberyo posted something on social
- 21:02Speaker 3: media about a phone call he had with a listener
- 21:05Speaker 3: at eight o'clock this morning and said, if you call
- 21:06Speaker 3: up at eight o'clock in the morning and you're already hammered,
- 21:09Speaker 3: you know, there might be might be a bigger issue here. However,
- 21:12Speaker 3: maybe they is somebody, maybe they work midnight to six.
- 21:14Speaker 8: Maybe maybe one cannot assume, one cannot assume.
- 21:18Speaker 3: All right, So again this this is what we're having
- 21:20Speaker 3: fun talking about.
- 21:21Speaker 11: This weather.
- 21:21Speaker 3: By the way, it's going to be fantastic. I mean,
- 21:24Speaker 3: it's actually gonna be summer like it's not. If you
- 21:26Speaker 3: are hoping for the fall vibe on Saturday like it
- 21:29Speaker 3: is now, you're not gonna have it because it's gonna
- 21:30Speaker 3: be in the low to mid eighties. But it's it's
- 21:34Speaker 3: gonna be good for strolling around downtown Charleston. Rain is
- 21:36Speaker 3: expected to move in like late tonight or late Saturday night,
- 21:39Speaker 3: in the over night hours. So the weather's gonna be great.
- 21:41Speaker 8: Yeah, you know that rain that's gonna mess us.
- 21:43Speaker 3: And oh yeah, I mean seriously, it's gonna be like
- 21:46Speaker 3: seven eight hours later.
- 21:47Speaker 8: Yes exactly. And you know, all these venues are walkable,
- 21:51Speaker 8: so people don't have to worry about driving from place
- 21:54Speaker 8: to place. They're all within walking distance of each other.
- 21:56Speaker 3: And I'm assuming because we're hitting up these particular businesses
- 22:00Speaker 3: that are taking in these bars and pubs that are
- 22:02Speaker 3: taking part in this, but there's a lot of other
- 22:03Speaker 3: businesses that will be open while this is going on,
- 22:06Speaker 3: so it's a good time to come downtown exactly.
- 22:09Speaker 8: Yeah, you can make a whole evening of it. Our
- 22:10Speaker 8: event takes place from four to seven, and it's self paced,
- 22:13Speaker 8: so people can go and really take their time. If
- 22:16Speaker 8: you see a business you want to stop into in
- 22:18Speaker 8: between our venues, you can.
- 22:20Speaker 3: Now it's any kind of competition, I mean, like, does
- 22:22Speaker 3: anybody anybody like name the best one?
- 22:24Speaker 8: Or is it just all I mean, it's a competition.
- 22:26Speaker 8: You vote for your favorite at the end.
- 22:28Speaker 5: Of the night.
- 22:28Speaker 3: How does the vote?
- 22:29Speaker 5: Tell me?
- 22:29Speaker 3: How the voting works.
- 22:30Speaker 8: So everyone will receive a voting card when you enter
- 22:34Speaker 8: the event, and you scan your QR code at the
- 22:36Speaker 8: end of the night and you cast your vote for
- 22:38Speaker 8: your favorite cocktail and your favorite appetizer. And you know
- 22:41Speaker 8: that's part of the restaurants really do take it seriously.
- 22:44Speaker 8: They want to win, and we actually have a really
- 22:46Speaker 8: cool trophy for.
- 22:47Speaker 3: The best cocktail, and so do they like keep that
- 22:49Speaker 3: on display for till like the next year. Do you
- 22:51Speaker 3: remember off the top of your head, who may have
- 22:53Speaker 3: done well in the past, who.
- 22:54Speaker 8: Won this in the past, bar one oh one had
- 22:56Speaker 8: it last year.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Okay, so unfortunately they're no longer with us.
- 22:59Speaker 8: I don't think, no they aren't. But I'll tell you
- 23:01Speaker 8: the voting is always so close because everyone does such
- 23:04Speaker 8: a great job.
- 23:05Speaker 3: And the voting is done by the people.
- 23:07Speaker 5: Ye.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Right, so there's no celebrity judges or anything like that, right, No, No.
- 23:12Speaker 8: It's the people. They get to speak talking.
- 23:14Speaker 3: To them with Sarah right for Fun for the Arts,
- 23:16Speaker 3: The annual Capital Cocktail Classic is happening this Saturday in
- 23:19Speaker 3: downtown Charleston, but Dave Island showing five d lie Brought

- 23:44Speaker 3: I'm really excited about this because, I mean because when
- 23:47Speaker 3: you talk about the things that fund for the arts, do.
- 23:50Speaker 3: And again you listen to me on air, you think, oh,
- 23:53Speaker 3: this guy doesn't really know the first thing about art,
- 23:55Speaker 3: you know, And I really don't, but I know what
- 23:57Speaker 3: I like and I know that the more we can
- 23:59Speaker 3: get people involved in things, especially young people, and get
- 24:02Speaker 3: them to put down the devices and so on and
- 24:04Speaker 3: so forth and take part in art, no matter what
- 24:06Speaker 3: that art may be, it's a good thing exactly.
- 24:08Speaker 8: I mean, it enriches our society. It really adds value
- 24:12Speaker 8: to the quality of life here and that's something Fun
- 24:15Speaker 8: for the Arts is really proud to participate in that
- 24:18Speaker 8: on every level through our events and our member art
- 24:21Speaker 8: groups events as well.
- 24:23Speaker 3: I talk about that education aspect of it. I mean,
- 24:25Speaker 3: like you said, trying to get younger people involved.
- 24:27Speaker 8: Yeah, you know, and so many of our arts groups
- 24:29Speaker 8: are working with younger populations like West Virginia Use Symphony,
- 24:33Speaker 8: the Symphony Orchestra, Charlson Knight, Oppera Guild. I mean, these
- 24:36Speaker 8: groups are on the ground interacting with young children, helping
- 24:41Speaker 8: introduce that next generation to an enrichment of the arts
- 24:45Speaker 8: and getting involved in the community at an early age.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Now, if we have a business that's listening to us
- 24:51Speaker 3: right now, that says, you know, I'd like to do
- 24:53Speaker 3: something with it. Is it too late for like a
- 24:56Speaker 3: bar pub to be involved in this?
- 24:58Speaker 8: And just in case this year it would be however, somebody, Yeah,
- 25:02Speaker 8: somebody could reach out to me for next year and
- 25:04Speaker 8: somebody can find us on our Facebook page Fund for
- 25:07Speaker 8: the Arts West Virginia or our website Fund for the
- 25:09Speaker 8: ARTSWV dot org.
- 25:11Speaker 3: Any any idea and I don't want to put you
- 25:13Speaker 3: on the spot here, but any idea. Maybe a ballpark
- 25:15Speaker 3: figure of how many people took part in this last year,
- 25:17Speaker 3: just just just a guess.
- 25:18Speaker 8: It's about one hundred and fifty people take place in this.
- 25:21Speaker 3: Ee and you do need to get your tickets.
- 25:22Speaker 8: Yeah, you got to get your tickets. I mean we
- 25:24Speaker 8: encourage people to get their tickets early because this many
- 25:27Speaker 8: years this event does sell out because the restaurants they
- 25:31Speaker 8: aren't I mean, these are small places, so we have
- 25:33Speaker 8: to look, they're.
- 25:34Speaker 3: Open for business while this is going on too, and
- 25:36Speaker 3: they've got folks that are in there dining and having
- 25:38Speaker 3: a cocktail or two that may not even know what
- 25:40Speaker 3: this is going on, so that they got to they
- 25:41Speaker 3: got to take care of business as well.
- 25:42Speaker 8: Yes, exactly. So there are a limited number of tickets,
- 25:45Speaker 8: So we do encourage people, like, if you're listening and
- 25:47Speaker 8: you're thinking, oh, I want to go to that, you
- 25:49Speaker 8: should go ahead and get your tickets because we are
- 25:51Speaker 8: starting to get close to where we're going.
- 25:53Speaker 3: To have to So then let we'll say, within like
- 25:55Speaker 3: probably the next twenty four hours, I mean more likely,
- 25:57Speaker 3: it's probably gonna be sold out. Where can people learn more?
- 26:00Speaker 3: Where you got social media? Facebook page? You got website?
- 26:02Speaker 3: Where you go?
- 26:03Speaker 9: Yep?
- 26:03Speaker 8: So our Facebook page Fund for the Arts West Virginia
- 26:07Speaker 8: and you can find our event right on there, or
- 26:09Speaker 8: you can get on our website Fund for the ARTSWV
- 26:12Speaker 8: dot org.
- 26:12Speaker 3: All right, again, let's recap it here four to seven
- 26:15Speaker 3: downtown Charleston and it's the Capitol Cocktail Classic yep, this Saturday,
- 26:20Speaker 3: This Saturday. And give us the restaurants again.
- 26:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 26:23Speaker 8: So the restaurants are five Street Brewing, Sam's Uptown Cafe,
- 26:27Speaker 8: Haggie's Irish Pie Pub, and the Volstudroom.
- 26:29Speaker 3: All right, and again if you want to get your tickets,
- 26:31Speaker 3: we're going to go ahead and say you probably should
- 26:34Speaker 3: plan on doing that within the next twenty four hours,
- 26:36Speaker 3: just for planning purposes.
- 26:37Speaker 8: Yeah, and I will say, you know, our tickets are
- 26:40Speaker 8: only sixty dollars and you're getting four cocktails and four appetizers.
- 26:44Speaker 8: Like that's a heck of a deal. Like you can't
- 26:47Speaker 8: do that.
- 26:48Speaker 3: I mean, some of those things you talked about as
- 26:49Speaker 3: far as the food goes sound like more more like
- 26:51Speaker 3: meals and appetizers. Apparently somebody didn't get the memo.
- 26:54Speaker 8: Hey, Hey, the restaurants, like I said, they're in it
- 26:57Speaker 8: to win it.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Yeah, like they want it. And we have, I mean,
- 27:01Speaker 3: such a vibrant restaurant scene in downtown Charssa, and it is.
- 27:04Speaker 3: It is kicked up so much over the last couple
- 27:06Speaker 3: of years. Doesn't hurt when you have a James Beard
- 27:09Speaker 3: Award winning chef in the community who was Chef Paul
- 27:13Speaker 3: goes out of his way to encourage all these restaurants.
- 27:15Speaker 3: Whether he's taking part or not. There's not really downtown
- 27:18Speaker 3: so to speak, but he's a big champion of all
- 27:20Speaker 3: of these. I hear him on the hotline every Monday
- 27:22Speaker 3: with of Coop and Weekly and he's just all about this,
- 27:25Speaker 3: supporting local businesses.
- 27:27Speaker 8: Yes, it's incredible. And that's one thing about this event
- 27:30Speaker 8: as well. You're not only supporting local arts groups by attending,
- 27:33Speaker 8: but you're supporting the local restaurants.
- 27:36Speaker 3: And that's something that we all need to do. And look,
- 27:39Speaker 3: I'm not people know me and they listen to the show.
- 27:42Speaker 3: I'm not gonna hate on chains because a lot of
- 27:44Speaker 3: these steakhouses and so on, they employ a lot of people.
- 27:47Speaker 3: And that's God bless him for that. I'm not hating
- 27:49Speaker 3: on that and not like a good you know, chain
- 27:51Speaker 3: burger or whatever every now and then myself. However, however,
- 27:54Speaker 3: these are the people, these downtown businesses or wherever you're
- 27:57Speaker 3: listening to us today in your particular town as well.
- 27:59Speaker 3: These are the people that donate to your little league team.
- 28:02Speaker 3: These are the teams that will help out with your
- 28:03Speaker 3: church event. These are the folks that do that kind
- 28:05Speaker 3: of stuff. So they need our support as well, especially
- 28:08Speaker 3: since many of them are still recovering from the effects
- 28:10Speaker 3: of COVID from a couple of years ago.
- 28:11Speaker 8: Right exactly. You know, we're we're we're proud to partner
- 28:14Speaker 8: with our local businesses and they're fantastic to work with.
- 28:17Speaker 8: You know, these restaurant owners, they work hard and they
- 28:19Speaker 8: take real pride.
- 28:20Speaker 12: In what they do.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, Sarah, it's always a pleasure to have
- 28:23Speaker 3: you on the show again. Give me the Facebook page
- 28:24Speaker 3: and the website again, just one more time.
- 28:26Speaker 4: Yep.
- 28:26Speaker 8: So that's Fund for the Arts West Virginia is our
- 28:29Speaker 8: Facebook page and our website as Fund for the ARTSWV
- 28:32Speaker 8: dot org. And that's fund f you in d Although it.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Is fun, you're ready to hear you're doing funds.
- 28:39Speaker 8: It's fun.

- 33:29Speaker 3: Metro News Midday powered by Selango Long coming up at
- 33:32Speaker 3: noon till three today. And I was giving the texture
- 33:35Speaker 3: kind of a smart a like answer there about providing
- 33:38Speaker 3: data and so on and so forth. And I'm sorry
- 33:40Speaker 3: I didn't do my homework, but I mean, talk to
- 33:43Speaker 3: any business owner, they'll tell you. And we are still
- 33:46Speaker 3: recovering from the stupidness that was shutting down this country
- 33:50Speaker 3: like we did. And again we did not know what
- 33:53Speaker 3: we did not know, to quote a former boss of mine,
- 33:56Speaker 3: and there's no playbook for COVID, and you know, and
- 33:59Speaker 3: we all get that and whatever, but this country should
- 34:02Speaker 3: have never been shut down like it was now. Those
- 34:04Speaker 3: that were those that were at risk, absolutely, And I'm
- 34:07Speaker 3: speaking to a person who lost one of my best
- 34:09Speaker 3: friends to COVID at age fifty. He was fifty years old,
- 34:13Speaker 3: he had a bunch of health underlying health issues, didn't
- 34:16Speaker 3: take his precautions that he needed to do, and unfortunately
- 34:19Speaker 3: he passed. And so I'm not trying to diminish that
- 34:23Speaker 3: in any way. I am just saying what the government,
- 34:26Speaker 3: what the health organizations did to this country. And I'm
- 34:29Speaker 3: not a COVID denier. I had COVID myself, basically, I
- 34:32Speaker 3: had a running nose.
- 34:33Speaker 8: That was it.
- 34:34Speaker 3: But I'm healthy, real other than mean fat. And so
- 34:38Speaker 3: we're going to be studying this for years and the
- 34:40Speaker 3: downright criminal activities that took place in this country by
- 34:45Speaker 3: completely shutting the country down. I am not a COVID
- 34:47Speaker 3: denier by any stretch of the imagination. I'm all for
- 34:50Speaker 3: masking up and doing all the things, but what we
- 34:53Speaker 3: did and completely destroying this country in the business community
- 34:58Speaker 3: was criminal. Eighteen minutes away from this Pentagon thing, I
- 35:02Speaker 3: talked about it a little yesterday, and you know, the
- 35:05Speaker 3: players by now pretty much all the major news players
- 35:09Speaker 3: in this country talking about straight news organizations, and I'm
- 35:13Speaker 3: talking about ones that lean liberal and conservative news organizations.
- 35:17Speaker 3: I mean, think CNN, and then on the other spectrum,
- 35:20Speaker 3: think Fox News, and then think the Wall Street Journal,
- 35:24Speaker 3: and then the New York Times and the Washington Post
- 35:27Speaker 3: and PBS and MSNBC and even Newsmas Newsmas. Of all people,
- 35:34Speaker 3: reporters from all of those organizations and more have turned
- 35:37Speaker 3: in their press credentials rather than to follow along with
- 35:43Speaker 3: Pete Hegseth's new rules. And I say good for them,
- 35:48Speaker 3: because I am all about the free press. I'm also
- 35:51Speaker 3: about the responsible press, and we are not talking about
- 35:55Speaker 3: classified information here, all right, basically saying that the Trump
- 36:00Speaker 3: administration and Pete hag Seth one wants to approve everything
- 36:06Speaker 3: that goes out and that's not the way it works
- 36:09Speaker 3: in America. Pyle, Sorry, that's that's not America. If you
- 36:13Speaker 3: are putting something out there, if you're one of those
- 36:16Speaker 3: responsible news organizations, putting something out there that is putting
- 36:19Speaker 3: lives a danger. As I said, leaking classified information that
- 36:24Speaker 3: would put us in harm's way from our enemies absolutely
- 36:28Speaker 3: banned them. But as somebody said on the show yesterday,
- 36:32Speaker 3: Pete hag Seth, the Great unifor I think it was
- 36:35Speaker 3: Tjavid said that the Great Unifier has brought Newsmax and
- 36:41Speaker 3: CNN together on this. The only organization I know that,
- 36:45Speaker 3: I mean, I'm talking about a major organization that agreed
- 36:48Speaker 3: to it was this right wing I mean, these folks
- 36:53Speaker 3: are so nuts that Newsmax would look at them and go,
- 36:55Speaker 3: you guys are nuts, and that's that oan stuff. They
- 36:58Speaker 3: agreed to go along with it. But that's pretty much.
- 37:00Speaker 3: And anytime you have governmental officials telling the press what
- 37:06Speaker 3: they can and can't report or attempting to you're in
- 37:09Speaker 3: a whole other level, whole other level in my opinion.
- 37:14Speaker 3: So hats off. That's off to them. Tex says we
- 37:20Speaker 3: did not know what we did not know somebody using
- 37:23Speaker 3: a quote from my former boss. True, and we should
- 37:25Speaker 3: not have been slandered silences and even targeted for questioning
- 37:28Speaker 3: it at all. Now we found out we were right. Well,
- 37:31Speaker 3: I agree with that to a certain extent. Text, you
- 37:33Speaker 3: appreciate the text, you know, and again we're going to
- 37:40Speaker 3: look back, and we're going to look back at this
- 37:42Speaker 3: country's response to COVID for hundreds of years from now,
- 37:48Speaker 3: and we're going to have another COVID eventually, maybe not
- 37:50Speaker 3: called COVID. It's going to come back eventually. And the
- 37:53Speaker 3: scientists and evanelbiologists in other words I have trouble pronouncing,
- 37:59Speaker 3: have said for years it was coming. They pretty much
- 38:02Speaker 3: said this is going to happen, and no one took
- 38:05Speaker 3: them seriously, and oh it happened. It happened in a
- 38:10Speaker 3: big way. My take on again, I am not unlike you.
- 38:13Speaker 3: I do not have my PhD in uh in in
- 38:17Speaker 3: in medicine or sciences or anything like that from Facebook university.
- 38:20Speaker 3: I did not go to Zuckerberg U. Okay, but I
- 38:24Speaker 3: will say the un the unneeded shutdown of this country
- 38:31Speaker 3: was criminal. And I'm somebody. I'm not anti VACS, I'm
- 38:35Speaker 3: not anti COVID preparedness. I took the I took the jab.
- 38:40Speaker 3: As they say, I can probably go into dark now.
- 38:42Speaker 3: But I'm okay. You know, uh Texas Dave Allen, expert
- 38:50Speaker 3: at Disease Ever, said that every country shut down in Sweden,
- 38:54Speaker 3: the one everyone knows the point you admitted they were
- 38:55Speaker 3: wrong for not shutting down. Zero ended up with worst
- 38:59Speaker 3: rates and recovery than the US what are you going
- 39:01Speaker 3: on about criminal what's your evidence of this mistake? Where
- 39:04Speaker 3: the evidence another way? Work or make a nuanced argument
- 39:07Speaker 3: about schools. But your broad bush is broad brush, is embellic,
- 39:11Speaker 3: says a Tanster. Okay, that's fine. You don't they give
- 39:15Speaker 3: me a microphone. Just spout off opinions, and that's what
- 39:18Speaker 3: I do. And I also allow for your opinions as well.
- 39:21Speaker 3: Tex says I just talked to a business owner that
- 39:23Speaker 3: made more money following COVID than ever. I guess my
- 39:25Speaker 3: feelings that way. Yours pathetic that you make claims you
- 39:29Speaker 3: know you can't back up. Look at the job recovery,
- 39:31Speaker 3: GDP growth, consumer spending, et cetera. All were up after
- 39:34Speaker 3: the pandemic, and the US had the greatest recovery in
- 39:37Speaker 3: the world, at least until a. Okay, I'm out, sorry, Texan.
- 39:43Speaker 3: That is exactly what the Biden administration told Zuckerberg to do,
- 39:46Speaker 3: what to report and what not to report, Texa, Dave,
- 39:50Speaker 3: did we not lose one million to COVID? What would
- 39:53Speaker 3: the numbers been without shutting down? I don't know. I
- 39:56Speaker 3: can't answer that. I don't know what the numbers would
- 39:57Speaker 3: have been that shut down. I know there'd have been
- 39:58Speaker 3: a had of a lot more businesses still in business today.
- 40:01Speaker 3: I know them. Story posted this morning at wv metronews
- 40:06Speaker 3: dot com. A No King's rally protesting the policies of
- 40:11Speaker 3: the Trump administration being held across the country on Saturday.
- 40:15Speaker 3: Over twenty five hundred different communities are having these rallies.
- 40:18Speaker 3: One is going to be in Charleston. This one is
- 40:20Speaker 3: the second one that's been held in Charleston. I had
- 40:25Speaker 3: one of the organizers of the one in Charleston on
- 40:29Speaker 3: the midday show yesterday, a good friend of mine, Pastor
- 40:32Speaker 3: Marlon Collins, Shallow Baptist here in Charleston, and he was
- 40:37Speaker 3: one of the folks. There's several organizations that are doing this.
- 40:39Speaker 3: He's one of the ones. The one in Charleston's gonna
- 40:42Speaker 3: started at eleven in front of the Bird Federal Courthouse
- 40:45Speaker 3: and will wind its way to the capital. Organizers including
- 40:49Speaker 3: I'm talking about groups now a CLU, Westerrginiona Free, the
- 40:52Speaker 3: Charleston NAACP, and others. And I guess we got some
- 40:56Speaker 3: quotes from Pastor Collins, including his story w metronews dot com.
- 41:01Speaker 3: I efforted to get him on locally this morning but
- 41:05Speaker 3: he is a church pastor and a dad, so those
- 41:08Speaker 3: things take precedence, and I completely understand. So these events
- 41:13Speaker 3: around the state are taking place, as I said, in Charleston,
- 41:16Speaker 3: New Martinsville, Wheeling, Bluefield, Huntington, Kaiser, Romney, Wardensville, Berkeley Springs, Shepherdstown, Clarksburg, Somersville, Louisbourg, Elkinson, Fayetteville,
- 41:26Speaker 3: among others. So you have that many in West Virginia,
- 41:30Speaker 3: which is a solidly Trump state. It's not hard to
- 41:34Speaker 3: figure out how the twenty five hundred nationwide came about.
- 41:38Speaker 3: That's the twenty five hundred different communities around America that
- 41:41Speaker 3: are doing these. About five million people took part in
- 41:45Speaker 3: the nationwide in June. And to the person on my
- 41:49Speaker 3: Facebook page that estimated that there would be three or
- 41:53Speaker 3: five show up in Charlestown, I think it's going to
- 41:55Speaker 3: be slightly more than that. I think it's gould be
- 41:58Speaker 3: a lot more than that. And look to them, people
- 42:02Speaker 3: are right or wrong or frustrated. And it may look
- 42:06Speaker 3: silly to some because nothing's going to change, especially in
- 42:11Speaker 3: West Virginia, where support for President Trump is as high
- 42:16Speaker 3: as it's ever been, maybe higher. But you do you
- 42:20Speaker 3: it's part of being an American the right to peaceful protest.
- 42:24Speaker 3: So like yourselves out. It's going to be in Charleston again.
- 42:26Speaker 3: Starts eleven o'clock for the Bird Courthouse, is going to
- 42:29Speaker 3: go to the Capitol, wrap up about three Big Riley
- 42:30Speaker 3: planned gonna be a couple hundred people there, twenty five
- 42:33Speaker 3: one hundred different communities around America. Five million people in
- 42:36Speaker 3: all protesting. No kings, Okay, have at it. I mean
- 42:41Speaker 3: I support them. I mean I don't support I support
- 42:46Speaker 3: peaceful protest no matter what it is, because that you're
- 42:48Speaker 3: right as American. I'm the ultimate free speech person. I

- 48:31Speaker 3: a town hall last night. It was broadcast live A
- 48:34Speaker 3: News Nation also the CW network, hosted by Chris Cuomo,
- 48:36Speaker 3: Bill O'Reilly was there. Former Senator Mansion, Stephen A. Smith,
- 48:40Speaker 3: Jim Jordan, a couple of other people from Congress and
- 48:43Speaker 3: the media. A few podcasters, former Obama stafford, et cetera.
- 48:46Speaker 3: I thought it was very good. I mean it kept
- 48:49Speaker 3: me awake un till ten thirty last night, which unless
- 48:50Speaker 3: the Cowboys will play, never ever happens. It was all
- 48:54Speaker 3: about the divisiveness that we all see in America. TJ
- 48:58Speaker 3: and I were texting about this last night, he joins us. Now, TJ,
- 49:01Speaker 3: you watched some of it last night, didn't you. I did.
- 49:02Speaker 3: I watched a good portion of it. Yeah, okay, here's
- 49:05Speaker 3: my take on it, and you can give me yours.
- 49:08Speaker 3: I think that was I think Cuomo did a great job.
- 49:10Speaker 3: I think Bill O'Reilly needs to hang it up. O'Reilly
- 49:13Speaker 3: was kind of embarrassing last night. It's Bill, It's time
- 49:15Speaker 3: to go, okay. Steven A. Smith did a great job.
- 49:17Speaker 3: I thought Joe Manchin did a great job. The people
- 49:19Speaker 3: that were on that I didn't necessarily agree with. I
- 49:21Speaker 3: thought they all did a great job. Little heated there
- 49:24Speaker 3: at one point between the gentlemen from the Charlie Kirk
- 49:27Speaker 3: group and the other guy. They was little heated, But
- 49:30Speaker 3: all in all I thought I thought it was pretty good,
- 49:31Speaker 3: great audience participation. The problem to me with that was
- 49:35Speaker 3: TJ is that the people that are really causing the
- 49:38Speaker 3: division in this country, right or left, they probably weren't
- 49:44Speaker 3: taking part there last night. Do you understand what I'm
- 49:47Speaker 3: trying to say by that? I mean it was like,
- 49:49Speaker 3: to use the cliche, It was like preaching to the
- 49:51Speaker 3: proverbial choir there. And what I heard was, we've got
- 49:54Speaker 3: to tone down the rheter, we got to tone down
- 49:56Speaker 3: the volume. Mansion said it, the former Obama staffers said it,
- 49:59Speaker 3: steven A said it, Cuomo said it. All good stuff,
- 50:02Speaker 3: and they're absolutely one hundred percent right. Those aren't the
- 50:05Speaker 3: people that were causing that are causing all the problems
- 50:07Speaker 3: in my opinion, your opinion.
- 50:09Speaker 9: My opinion is that divisiveness pays too well. And the
- 50:15Speaker 9: people who were not on that stage last night, those
- 50:18Speaker 9: that are purveyors of such divisiveness.
- 50:21Speaker 3: It pays too well. Too many people are employed by it.
- 50:24Speaker 3: That was brought out by somebody on stage. I don't
- 50:26Speaker 3: remember who it was. When somebody brought that out on stage.
- 50:28Speaker 9: Last night, I thought stephen A was cutting through the crap,
- 50:33Speaker 9: which people appreciate. The only thing I'll ding Cuomo for
- 50:36Speaker 9: he should have shut O'Reilly down, Yes said sit down
- 50:38Speaker 9: there o'reiley should have never been there, been there he
- 50:40Speaker 9: was trying to sell his book and all these so
- 50:44Speaker 9: out of till one.
- 50:44Speaker 3: Point there was a shot of Stephen A. Smith with
- 50:47Speaker 3: his hand in his face.
- 50:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:49Speaker 3: And then of course Steven A. Smith walked off at
- 50:51Speaker 3: one point, and I thought it was very dramatic what
- 50:54Speaker 3: he did, because what he was talking about they were
- 50:56Speaker 3: talking to was an air traffic controller. Yeah, I think
- 50:58Speaker 3: an air traffic control or who is not getting paid
- 51:01Speaker 3: because the government shut down and is having to do
- 51:04Speaker 3: door dash. Yes, And Steven A gets up there, points
- 51:07Speaker 3: at everybody in the stage and said, everybody on the
- 51:09Speaker 3: stage are making millions of dollars doing what we maybe
- 51:11Speaker 3: not all, but a lot of them making millions of dollars,
- 51:13Speaker 3: and this guy's having to do door dash. He gets
- 51:15Speaker 3: up and walks out. Show did well. I mean, it's
- 51:18Speaker 3: amazing how calm you can be, not that he wasn't
- 51:20Speaker 3: before when you don't have something on the hook, you
- 51:23Speaker 3: know what I mean.
- 51:24Speaker 9: He's like, look, let me tell you how it is,
- 51:26Speaker 9: and I don't care what you think because I don't
- 51:27Speaker 9: have to earn your vote anymore.
- 51:28Speaker 3: So there's a freedom in that. But he got so
- 51:30Speaker 3: ticked off.
- 51:31Speaker 9: I think it O'Riley too. I mean he started playing
- 51:33Speaker 9: dancing feet like moving stat around. You tastered me about
- 51:36Speaker 9: that up down certain rhythms. I mean, so no good
- 51:39Speaker 9: good overall. Cuomo Rain and Bill Riley don't have him
- 51:43Speaker 9: back the second time. Good discussion. Need to work on
- 51:47Speaker 9: getting some of those people together that really want to
- 51:49Speaker 9: stir the pot and call them out.
- 51:51Speaker 3: Yeah, but again preaching to the choir. Yeah, preaching to
- 51:54Speaker 3: the choir. But Dave Island showing five dye Lie Brown
