- 0:00Speaker 1: Let's get back to the Mark Simone show on wo R.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Where was that? Uh, Jimmy Faylea, we will be with
- 0:09Speaker 1: us a little later this hour. Lots to talk to
- 0:11Speaker 1: him about. We'll get to Trump, derangement syndrome and more.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Net Yahoo says he will come to New York City.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Benjamin Netanyahu, who mom Donnie has threatened to arrest, says
- 0:23Speaker 1: he will absolutely come to New York City. Uh will
- 0:28Speaker 1: he meet with mom Donnie? He said, only if mom
- 0:32Speaker 1: Donnie acknowledges Israel's right to exist. Well, all right, that's
- 0:37Speaker 1: a good h that's a good point. If Ma'm donnie
- 0:39Speaker 1: will acknowledge Israel's right to exist, he will meet with
- 0:44Speaker 1: him now when he comes to New York if Mom
- 0:46Speaker 1: Donnie has said he will arrest him. But we're starting
- 0:50Speaker 1: to notice that Mam Donnie says a lot of things.
- 0:53Speaker 1: But it's just a charming campaign rhetoric to his wacko crowd. Uh,
- 0:58Speaker 1: but he doesn't really fund up on him. He met
- 1:01Speaker 1: with Trump. That was quite a friendly meeting. In fact,
- 1:04Speaker 1: Mamdanni revealed this week that he continues to talk to Trump.
- 1:08Speaker 1: They've continued the relationship. They talk on the phone, he's
- 1:11Speaker 1: called Trump a few times. Mam Donnie has been called
- 1:15Speaker 1: by Trump also after the National Guard shooting. Mam Donnie
- 1:19Speaker 1: said he called Trump to express his sympathy. So they
- 1:22Speaker 1: they've become friends. So that's a good sign. Maybe Trump
- 1:26Speaker 1: can help keep this guy in line. And maybe a
- 1:28Speaker 1: lot of that crazy wacko campaign stuff was just a
- 1:33Speaker 1: lot of Democrats. They run like that. They just tell
- 1:35Speaker 1: this ground whatever the hell they want to hear, and
- 1:36Speaker 1: then they don't do it. But we'll see if Netanya
- 1:40Speaker 1: Who does come to New York, there's no he has
- 1:42Speaker 1: nothing to fear about being arrested no matter what Mam
- 1:45Speaker 1: Donnie does. Trump has said he will protect him with
- 1:48Speaker 1: federal troops, law enforcement, FBI, federal agents, whatever he has
- 1:53Speaker 1: to do. They will be with Netanya Who the whole
- 1:55Speaker 1: time to make sure he is not arrested. A great attorney,
- 1:59Speaker 1: Alan dersh Schwitz has said he will be with every
- 2:03Speaker 1: second of his visit. In case he needs a lawyer,
- 2:05Speaker 1: he'll be right there to take care of him. Hey,
- 2:08Speaker 1: if you take the subway, there's no more Metro cards.
- 2:12Speaker 1: December thirty first, that's the last day of Metro cards,
- 2:17Speaker 1: those yellow cards. I think I still have one or
- 2:19Speaker 1: two somewhere with some money on him. I better go
- 2:22Speaker 1: use him. But the Metro cards disappear final days December thirty. First,
- 2:27Speaker 1: you have to use the Omni card, which is strictly digital.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I did go on the subway the other day and
- 2:32Speaker 1: he just held me. If you just hold your phone
- 2:34Speaker 1: up to the turnstile, it works. I'm looking at my wallet,
- 2:38Speaker 1: my digital wallet. But what does that mean? Did I
- 2:42Speaker 1: download the Omni card at some point? I must have.
- 2:44Speaker 1: I don't remember doing that. I don't you know what.
- 2:46Speaker 1: I don't think you have to. I think if you
- 2:47Speaker 1: have Apple Pay, it also takes Apple Pay, because I
- 2:52Speaker 1: know I don't remember ever downloading an Omni card. You
- 2:54Speaker 1: just if you have Apple Pay in your cell phone,
- 2:56Speaker 1: just hold it up to the turnstyle. It'll let you
- 2:59Speaker 1: write in. It will charge you, but it will let
- 3:01Speaker 1: you right in. So there's no more Metro card. This
- 3:04Speaker 1: is going to confuse a lot of people that are older,
- 3:06Speaker 1: people that aren't tech savvy. Now, it should also save
- 3:11Speaker 1: the MTA a lot of money. Those cards, I imagine
- 3:14Speaker 1: costs a lot of money to print up those cards,
- 3:16Speaker 1: and you have to have the big machines that dispense them.
- 3:18Speaker 1: There's usually two or three in every subway station, so
- 3:21Speaker 1: you get rid of all of that, and that's a
- 3:24Speaker 1: big savings, a lot of cost savings. Waiting to see
- 3:29Speaker 1: if that gets passed down to the subway consumer, I
- 3:31Speaker 1: wouldn't count on it. So there's gonna be if you're
- 3:35Speaker 1: down there in the subway, there's gonna be some old
- 3:38Speaker 1: people who don't know how to hell to get on
- 3:40Speaker 1: the subway. They don't know what an omni card is.
- 3:42Speaker 1: They got a flip phone, they can't download anything. So
- 3:45Speaker 1: you just try to help them. If you're down there,
- 3:49Speaker 1: there's some people that just just don't keep up with
- 3:52Speaker 1: the text. You know. I was talking to a friend
- 3:54Speaker 1: of mine in Florida, one of these guys that moved
- 3:56Speaker 1: to Miami, and he said, you know, I talked to
- 4:01Speaker 1: a lot of people down here. They listen to your
- 4:03Speaker 1: show every morning here in Miami, a lot of people.
- 4:06Speaker 1: And then he says, I can't get it on the radio.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I said, no, you're like three thousand miles or you
- 4:13Speaker 1: have to listen online or on the phone. And he said,
- 4:17Speaker 1: a how do you do that? And I'm trying to
- 4:19Speaker 1: explain it to him, and I'm trying to explain to
- 4:22Speaker 1: him the I just download the iHeart app on your phone.
- 4:24Speaker 1: You can listen to wor you can listen to every
- 4:27Speaker 1: station in the country. You can listen to everything on
- 4:29Speaker 1: the iHeart app. Well, he doesn't know how to do that.
- 4:31Speaker 1: And he said, by the way, this is a major
- 4:33Speaker 1: CEO of a big company. You'd know. But some people
- 4:37Speaker 1: just can't figure this stuff out. I actually know one woman,
- 4:42Speaker 1: very successful woman, who said to me, I didn't know this.
- 4:47Speaker 1: She was, I don't have a cell phone. I never
- 4:49Speaker 1: had a cell phone. No, you don't have a cell phone. No,
- 4:53Speaker 1: well how do you? She said, I don't need one.
- 4:58Speaker 1: But I was trying to explain to her. As a landline,
- 5:01Speaker 1: it's not long before they take away your landline. You know,
- 5:04Speaker 1: Verizon has already pretty much done that. If you had
- 5:06Speaker 1: an old fashioned Verizon landline, they're gone. Once they die,
- 5:10Speaker 1: that's it. They won't fix them in every phone company's
- 5:12Speaker 1: going to there's gonna be no landlines in a couple
- 5:14Speaker 1: of years. So if you're one of the few people
- 5:17Speaker 1: without a cell phone, you better get one and start
- 5:19Speaker 1: learning how to use it. Do you ever read Drudge anymore?
- 5:24Speaker 1: That used to be the biggest website in the world
- 5:26Speaker 1: for news. Now, I go to Drudge and I love
- 5:31Speaker 1: the guy who's a friend of mine for years. I
- 5:33Speaker 1: haven't talked to him in a while, but I go
- 5:35Speaker 1: to Drudge Now. This site is completely nuts. It's completely insane.
- 5:41Speaker 1: It's to the left of MSNBC. It's absolutely crazy. You
- 5:47Speaker 1: see these headlines. They're the most awful anti Trump headlines
- 5:51Speaker 1: in the world. Yeah, I don't want to read some
- 5:56Speaker 1: of these. They're so outlandish, and he's posting things from
- 5:59Speaker 1: the the worst lowest people on earth. They're not even
- 6:02Speaker 1: close to being legitimate. I mean, Michael Wolfe, Mary Trump,
- 6:07Speaker 1: those kind of lunatics. Hey, you know who I really like,
- 6:11Speaker 1: Lucy Arnez. Lucy Arnez is the daughter of Lucille Ball.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Lucy Arnez a very nice woman, a very talented Broadway star,
- 6:19Speaker 1: TV star, and I love reading her Facebook page because
- 6:23Speaker 1: she talks about politics. And it's not just her. There's
- 6:25Speaker 1: a lot of people out there in Hollywood, great people.
- 6:28Speaker 1: You'd love spending time with him. They're fun, but when
- 6:31Speaker 1: they start posting about politics, they are completely deranged. They
- 6:35Speaker 1: are totally insane. So she's a very nice woman. Lives
- 6:40Speaker 1: in Palm Springs. Puts up pictures of fun things. But
- 6:43Speaker 1: then every you know, fifth post is political. Here's one
- 6:47Speaker 1: from yesterday. This is a long essay she puts up there.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Trump is an instrument of this country's dark side. He
- 6:57Speaker 1: thinks he can do better than democracy. This group of
- 7:00Speaker 1: individuals is resculpting America to suit their vision, their greed,
- 7:05Speaker 1: their need for control. They think they know how to
- 7:09Speaker 1: run us better than laws and courts. They distrust higher learning.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Trump's the Ivy League graduate. He sent all his kids
- 7:18Speaker 1: to Ivy League schools. They distrust higher learning. They don't
- 7:23Speaker 1: want equality. It's a group effort to dumb down and
- 7:27Speaker 1: christianize the country to their backwards beliefs. Corporations will be
- 7:32Speaker 1: in charge. A handful of multimillionaires will run this great
- 7:37Speaker 1: country as if it were a corporation. They truly believe
- 7:41Speaker 1: this will work better. This is happening right now as
- 7:43Speaker 1: we eat our leftovers. But if you look at her Facebook,
- 7:49Speaker 1: she live in a mansion of Palm Springs. Mix in
- 7:52Speaker 1: the Heritage Foundation and the Federalist Society, you'll get a
- 7:55Speaker 1: clearer picture of what's going on right under our noses.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Trump is a pawn. They need an idiot to puppet.
- 8:01Speaker 1: The bigger the fool, the bigger the ego. This is
- 8:04Speaker 1: more serious than just putin. We cannot solve this or
- 8:09Speaker 1: fight it until we truly understand it. Now, again, she's
- 8:13Speaker 1: a very nice woman. Talk to her about anything. She
- 8:15Speaker 1: sounds very smart. Talked to her about politics and not
- 8:18Speaker 1: just her, it's all these people talked to her about politics.
- 8:21Speaker 1: She sounds like a deranged lunatic. Now, this is what
- 8:24Speaker 1: they call Trump derangement syndrome. It's an actual thing. It's
- 8:31Speaker 1: well here Now, Wikipedia is very slanted left wing. Wikipedia
- 8:34Speaker 1: says Trump derangement syndrome. It's a pejorative used to describe
- 8:39Speaker 1: negative reactions to Trump. It's used to dismiss criticism of Trump. Well, no,
- 8:45Speaker 1: not really. It's an actual thing. Just this Lucy Arnetz
- 8:52Speaker 1: thing I just read you. This is Trump derangement syndrome.
- 8:55Speaker 1: This is not normal. It's if you don't like Trump,
- 8:58Speaker 1: that's fine. If a guy said I I don't like him.
- 9:01Speaker 1: I don't like the way he talks. He's too crude
- 9:03Speaker 1: for me. Why does he have to insult people? Okay,
- 9:06Speaker 1: I can get that, but he's not tearing down democracy
- 9:09Speaker 1: threat to the world. That's Trump derangement syndrome. So there's
- 9:13Speaker 1: a great psychologist, Jonathan Albert, who wrote a piece for
- 9:17Speaker 1: the Wall Street Journal. They got a big psychiatrist, a
- 9:20Speaker 1: top psychiatrists, could you write about this Trump derangement syndrome.
- 9:24Speaker 1: So he wrote a column explaining it that it's an
- 9:29Speaker 1: obsessive political preoccupation. It resembles an obsessive compulsive pattern in
- 9:37Speaker 1: which one political figure becomes the center of intrusive thoughts.
- 9:42Speaker 1: It creates heightened arousal compulsive monitoring that takes over a
- 9:46Speaker 1: person's mental band with We goes on to explain it
- 9:48Speaker 1: in psychological terms, how it's a real thing, this Trump
- 9:51Speaker 1: derangement syndrome. So this guy writes the column and then
- 9:58Speaker 1: a lot of TV shows have him on to talk
- 10:00Speaker 1: about it, and he's on TV a lot. Well, now
- 10:02Speaker 1: he's getting death threats left and right. He's getting death
- 10:05Speaker 1: threats all over the place. So now he writes another
- 10:07Speaker 1: column saying, they just proved it's true that there is
- 10:10Speaker 1: a Trump derangement syndrome. You know, if you don't like
- 10:15Speaker 1: my column and you're going to write me a nasty letter, fine,
- 10:17Speaker 1: But he's getting death threats so he said, in trying
- 10:20Speaker 1: to disprove the phenomenon, these people have demonstrated it dramatically.
- 10:26Speaker 1: The way they're all behaving is absolute proof, scientific proof
- 10:30Speaker 1: that there is such a thing as Trump derangement syndrome.
- 10:33Speaker 1: As they're all trying to have the guy kill their assassinated.
- 10:37Speaker 1: So it's a real thing, this Trump derangement syndrome. And
- 10:42Speaker 1: you got to remember when you with your friend who's
- 10:45Speaker 1: a left wing coop Trump hater, don't get mad. Just
- 10:48Speaker 1: don't talk to him about it. Just change the subject.
- 10:51Speaker 1: It's a symptom, it's an actual mental illness they have.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Just don't even engage with them. I'll tell you how
- 10:58Speaker 1: bad it is. You know, they're yelling and screaming about
- 11:00Speaker 1: the ballroom, Trump rebuilding parts of the White House. Well,
- 11:04Speaker 1: across the street from the White House is the Eisenhower
- 11:08Speaker 1: Executive Office Building, And if you've seen it lately, it's
- 11:11Speaker 1: kind of bad looking. The White House is white and
- 11:14Speaker 1: all the buildings are white, but this building is dark gray,
- 11:18Speaker 1: and it turns out it's the same kind of white
- 11:21Speaker 1: limestone or whatever it is that the White House is.
- 11:24Speaker 1: It just got really dark and dirty over the years.
- 11:27Speaker 1: So Trump is the expert on this stuff. And he
- 11:31Speaker 1: looks across the street and he says, you got a
- 11:33Speaker 1: powerwash that you know, you've seen this happen every now
- 11:36Speaker 1: and then they powerwash a building and then the outside
- 11:39Speaker 1: the stone comes back to the gleaming white or whatever
- 11:42Speaker 1: it was light gray when it was first built, instead
- 11:45Speaker 1: of the dark, dirty looking gray. So he told them
- 11:48Speaker 1: the powerwash the building. It's a nice thing to do.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Every building should do it. The building's one hundred and
- 11:54Speaker 1: thirty seven years old. It's government. You know, they don't
- 11:59Speaker 1: take care of things. So Trump said, you know, you
- 12:01Speaker 1: got to powerwash that building. They're about to start. The
- 12:04Speaker 1: crazy left wing cooks, the leftists Trump derangement syndrome started
- 12:09Speaker 1: yelling and screaming, how dairy powerwash the eyesen our office building.
- 12:13Speaker 1: They went to court, the swamp went to court. They
- 12:15Speaker 1: found a DC left wing judge who had to put
- 12:20Speaker 1: up block a restraining order. They're not allowed to powerwash
- 12:24Speaker 1: the building. Trump team was forced to agree not to
- 12:28Speaker 1: take any steps to beautify the building for the rest
- 12:31Speaker 1: of the year while the court proceedings continue. It's just
- 12:35Speaker 1: dirt and grime, you gotta wash it off the building.
- 12:37Speaker 1: But the left wing went to court block this. I mean,
- 12:41Speaker 1: this is absolutely insane. This is Trump derangement syndrome. They'll
- 12:47Speaker 1: fight this legally in court till they can get permission
- 12:49Speaker 1: to clean the side of the building so it's not
- 12:52Speaker 1: so gray and dirty and ugly anymore. Unbelievable. I mean,
- 12:57Speaker 1: they're just nuts, these people. Anybody remember the comedian Jackie Vernon.
- 13:03Speaker 1: This is way before our time. I mean, this is
- 13:05Speaker 1: like you remember him. He was kind of big, heavy
- 13:07Speaker 1: guy and he talked looked us, and he talked in monotone,
- 13:11Speaker 1: and he was he was in a lot of so
- 13:12Speaker 1: he's on the Tonight show Ed Sullivan, the Dean Martin Show,
- 13:16Speaker 1: the famous comedian back then. It's the quiet that was
- 13:19Speaker 1: his whole routine. That he was a quiet, nerdy monotones
- 13:24Speaker 1: and apparently as a son who's just revealed he's all
- 13:28Speaker 1: a lot of people know him. He's the voice of
- 13:30Speaker 1: a Frosty the Snowman, of course, from the nineteen sixty
- 13:33Speaker 1: nine classic Frosty the Snowman. Everybody knows the voice. So
- 13:37Speaker 1: his son, David Vernon revealed this dull guy that was
- 13:42Speaker 1: his whole act. By the way, about how dull he was,
- 13:44Speaker 1: he come out and do jokes about how Dolly was.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Turns out the guy was a hell of a womanizer.
- 13:48Speaker 1: The guy had three separate families. The main family finds
- 13:52Speaker 1: out about these other kids they didn't know about. The
- 13:54Speaker 1: guy was like a multi not a big a mister.
- 13:57Speaker 1: What do you call this, a trigger mister or whatever.
- 13:58Speaker 1: He had a multiple live, multiple families, all sorts of
- 14:02Speaker 1: children nobody knew about. So so hey, you can never
- 14:05Speaker 1: judge a book by its cover. Hey, Jack Smith, the
- 14:09Speaker 1: disgusting weirdo Bizarro prosecutor, the bug eyed guy with the cape.
- 14:15Speaker 1: He has been subpoenaed house. The Republicans want to grill him.
- 14:19Speaker 1: He's the one that did the disgusting, awful, you know
- 14:22Speaker 1: raid on mar A Lago with their guns drawn. They
- 14:24Speaker 1: got the shoot to kill order if they needed it. Seriously,
- 14:28Speaker 1: Biden gave him the okay to use deadly force the Turk.
- 14:32Speaker 1: It a war crime. Biden gave him the okay to
- 14:35Speaker 1: use deadly force in mar A Lago where all the
- 14:38Speaker 1: old ladies are having dinner. And they didn't just go
- 14:41Speaker 1: and looking for documents. It was the most disgusting raid.
- 14:44Speaker 1: They went through Baron's room, They went through Malania's closets.
- 14:47Speaker 1: They looked in her underwear drawer like poly walnuts going
- 14:51Speaker 1: through Adrian's underwear and it was absolutely disgusting. But he's
- 14:56Speaker 1: going to be asked about all of this. Jack Smith
- 14:58Speaker 1: will have to testify. He's been subpoena. Jack Smith says,
- 15:02Speaker 1: I look forward to meeting with the committees to discuss
- 15:05Speaker 1: my work and clarify the various misconceptions. I think this
- 15:09Speaker 1: is going to very badly for him. It's not going
- 15:10Speaker 1: to go well for him. Hey, we'll take a break
- 15:12Speaker 1: and then we'll take some calls. Next eight hundred three
- 15:16Speaker 1: two one zero seven ten is the number. Give me
- 15:18Speaker 1: a call. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
