- 0:00Speaker 1: H h.
- 0:23Speaker 2: It is time. Leave your warriors outside, laugh with us
- 0:28Speaker 2: inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley along with Trey Trenholm.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Leave our buddy old pal Raj Sharma, who's on Sharma
- 0:40Speaker 2: Time is the PC way of putting it. We'll be
- 0:44Speaker 2: along here in a little bit.
- 0:47Speaker 3: In the meantime, what if we can get him, if
- 0:51Speaker 3: we can get him to come up with a dance.
- 0:52Speaker 2: With that, it's Sharma time.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 0:56Speaker 2: Oh howd of like cars? Yeah? Yeah? Instead of Hammer
- 1:04Speaker 2: time and Charma time. That's pretty good. Maybe something like
- 1:08Speaker 2: the Carlton dance on Fresh Prints. I don't know why.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Maybe it's because I keep seeing promos for Martin on
- 1:18Speaker 2: streaming Tulu or something like like instead of Channey a Charman,
- 1:26Speaker 2: Mama Shamama. I love about you man. But I loved
- 1:35Speaker 2: that show. I loved, loved, loved Martin.
- 1:40Speaker 3: That was one of those shows that I would say
- 1:42Speaker 3: it was probably the first three or four seasons, like
- 1:48Speaker 3: I loved and then I don't know. I don't know
- 1:52Speaker 3: what happened that I just stopped watching it.
- 1:58Speaker 2: I don't know either that that was one of those
- 1:59Speaker 2: that I would watch, but it wasn't. I don't think
- 2:02Speaker 2: it was religiously in my rotation. I thought you were
- 2:06Speaker 2: gonna say that it was one of the first black
- 2:07Speaker 2: shows you watched, which I was gonna say, No, it
- 2:09Speaker 2: wasn't you know your first black show was The Jeffersons
- 2:12Speaker 2: or Sandford.
- 2:14Speaker 3: And Son, Good Time, Sandford and Son, Jefferson's Cosby's.
- 2:23Speaker 2: See. I always wonder about this because I'm not racist.
- 2:26Speaker 2: You're not racist as far as the no, Raj isn't,
- 2:29Speaker 2: although it'd be really interesting if he was. Do racist
- 2:35Speaker 2: enjoy the the sitcoms where it's black centric, Like like,
- 2:41Speaker 2: I kind of assume racists enjoy Sandford and Son. I'm
- 2:44Speaker 2: not really sure why, but something like did they hate
- 2:47Speaker 2: the Jeffersons because they didn't like seeing quote unquote upity
- 2:49Speaker 2: black people moving on up to the East Side, so
- 2:53Speaker 2: they absolutely would not watch that show.
- 2:56Speaker 3: That would be the irony would be great there, because
- 3:00Speaker 3: I mean, the Jeffersons were a spin off of All
- 3:02Speaker 3: in the Family, and All the Family was basically making
- 3:04Speaker 3: fun of racism, and the Jeffersons kind of continued that. Yeah, Benson, Hey,
- 3:10Speaker 3: another underrated show.
- 3:12Speaker 2: That is see to me not underrated. I loved Benson.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Oh, I you know Robertson was a spin off of Soap,
- 3:19Speaker 3: which was like the first I was young, but like
- 3:23Speaker 3: the first sitcom I remember, and it was so groundbreaking
- 3:27Speaker 3: for its time. Yeah, because uh but yeah, that's an
- 3:32Speaker 3: interesting question.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Thank you. Yeah, the just on occasion, I'll think of
- 3:39Speaker 2: those those random thoughts, and you know, it's like, I
- 3:41Speaker 2: wonder if a racist would enjoy in Living Color, or honestly,
- 3:46Speaker 2: I would imagine that there were probably some hillbillies that
- 3:52Speaker 2: got their rabbit ears to pick up All in the Family,
- 3:55Speaker 2: and they probably loved Archie without realizing that he was
- 4:01Speaker 2: in essence parodying them. Yeah, So occasionally I'll think about
- 4:07Speaker 2: those things because again, I'm not racist, and I can't
- 4:10Speaker 2: dig up my great grandmother to ask her TV watching proclivities,
- 4:13Speaker 2: because she was the biggest racist I grew up with,
- 4:16Speaker 2: and thankfully we didn't spend a whole lot of time
- 4:18Speaker 2: with her and did just no one liked her?
- 4:22Speaker 3: Did you know that All in the Family was actually
- 4:25Speaker 3: a copy of a British show.
- 4:28Speaker 2: No Good?
- 4:32Speaker 3: And then, if really want to, I think what would
- 4:34Speaker 3: really make more of the modern day racists up said
- 4:37Speaker 3: is that you could really argue that Friends was just
- 4:40Speaker 3: a white copy of Living Single.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Yeah, and they took a lot of flak for especially
- 4:49Speaker 2: the last couple of seasons about being too white, which
- 4:53Speaker 2: I guess makes sense. You know, It's almost like you
- 4:55Speaker 2: have to go out of your way in a city
- 4:59Speaker 2: like New York, which is a true melting pot, and
- 5:02Speaker 2: have a group of friends that are all white, unless
- 5:06Speaker 2: they're just racist. Anyway, not where I intended to start
- 5:11Speaker 2: today's show, but it was just something I was curious
- 5:13Speaker 2: about because I keep seeing ads for Hulu, or not Hulu,
- 5:17Speaker 2: but ads for Martin and I'm like, oh, man, I
- 5:19Speaker 2: love that show. Maybe I should rewatch that after I'm
- 5:20Speaker 2: done watching Cheers. But then the other show I'm getting
- 5:23Speaker 2: beat over the head with is The Penguin with Colin
- 5:26Speaker 2: Fred that is everywhere on my phone, on my TV.
- 5:29Speaker 2: I got to now that I've said it out loud,
- 5:31Speaker 2: it's going to be smacking me in the face again,
- 5:33Speaker 2: like a like a little black fin. But anyway, that's
- 5:37Speaker 2: just that's kind of weird.
- 5:38Speaker 3: I don't know. I've heard, I've I have heard nothing
- 5:43Speaker 3: but good things about The Penguin. It just it looks.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Really dark, you mean color wise or content wise?
- 5:55Speaker 3: Content wise?
- 5:56Speaker 2: Yeah, color wise, I mean, like just like a dark
- 5:58Speaker 2: screen because it does. Yeah, that's so I'm also kind
- 6:02Speaker 2: of confused where it fits in the whole scheme of things,
- 6:05Speaker 2: because now with all the comic book movies, you've got
- 6:07Speaker 2: all these shows that are sort of in line with
- 6:09Speaker 2: certain storylines in universes, and things like the Marvel Cinematic
- 6:15Speaker 2: Universe have pretty much got that squared away. I know,
- 6:17Speaker 2: what's supposed to be what and where it goes. DC
- 6:20Speaker 2: is a little more chaotic. So you had the I
- 6:22Speaker 2: guess the Snyder verse version where you know, it was
- 6:26Speaker 2: a Man of Steel and Justice League and all that,
- 6:29Speaker 2: and then he went away, and then then you get
- 6:31Speaker 2: this darker thing where you get Joker, which is sort
- 6:34Speaker 2: of a standalone thing, and it was so good, like, hey,
- 6:35Speaker 2: we should probably you know, capitalize on this. And so
- 6:38Speaker 2: they did the Batman, which honestly I really really liked,
- 6:41Speaker 2: and Robert Pattinson was actually pretty damn good. Yeah, and uh,
- 6:48Speaker 2: all the way from the first teaser he beat the
- 6:50Speaker 2: ever loving crap out of some dude and then all
- 6:54Speaker 2: the faces of the of the gang around him like,
- 6:56Speaker 2: oh my god, and then Batman hit him again. It's like, yeah,
- 6:59Speaker 2: it's a Batman, I can get behind and then and
- 7:03Speaker 2: then now you get the Penguin and Joker Two's coming out,
- 7:05Speaker 2: so but then I don't think any of that's gonna
- 7:07Speaker 2: stick because then you've got the new DC thing that
- 7:10Speaker 2: is shifting with the new Superman movie next year. So
- 7:13Speaker 2: I can't keep up. I don't know where the Penguin
- 7:15Speaker 2: even fits in other than just being constantly bombarded on ads.
- 7:19Speaker 3: I mean, I think DC just is desperate for something
- 7:21Speaker 3: that isn't a flop.
- 7:24Speaker 2: And you know what, we can smell it. Yeah, we
- 7:27Speaker 2: can smell it. We can smell desperation, like you know,
- 7:30Speaker 2: I mean we we can smell all sorts of things.
- 7:33Speaker 2: We can smell farts on planes, and we can smell
- 7:34Speaker 2: desperation coming from our movie studios.
- 7:38Speaker 3: I liked the Zack Snyder movies, but they were dark.
- 7:46Speaker 3: I mean that was I think that's where the Avengers
- 7:49Speaker 3: just won them over. Is the Avengers, Faggy and all
- 7:54Speaker 3: of them. They struck an amazing balance of comedy with
- 8:01Speaker 3: your superhero movie.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Yeah, this is the best way I can I can
- 8:05Speaker 2: compare the whole Marvel DC thing. And this gets me
- 8:08Speaker 2: on track to where I actually wanted to start today.
- 8:12Speaker 2: The Marvel movies I want to watch in a theater.
- 8:15Speaker 2: The DC movies I'll watch when I have no other
- 8:17Speaker 2: option on a plane.
- 8:22Speaker 3: That you congratulations, sir, you just really summed up.
- 8:30Speaker 2: The Flash. The Flash wasn't so bad at thirty thousand feet.
- 8:36Speaker 1: And I.
- 8:37Speaker 3: It took me five years to probably watch The Justice
- 8:40Speaker 3: League and then our Minister, what was the four hour one?
- 8:44Speaker 3: Was that Justice League? With like the y that night
- 8:47Speaker 3: eighter cut?
- 8:48Speaker 2: Yeah, which that movie was already unnecessarily long. Laugh and idea,
- 8:52Speaker 2: let's make it even longer. No, I don't what. I
- 8:54Speaker 2: had no interest in seeing that version of the movie.
- 8:56Speaker 2: The first version I saw sucked. If the short version sucked,
- 8:59Speaker 2: I could tell you the long version ain't gonna be
- 9:01Speaker 2: any better.
- 9:01Speaker 3: See I just want I just I I stuck it
- 9:04Speaker 3: all long enough. I just watched the long version. Was
- 9:07Speaker 3: the first version I watched. Oh no, no, no, no, no
- 9:09Speaker 3: no no. And like I said, I did think it
- 9:11Speaker 3: was a bad movie. I'm totally with you, though. If
- 9:13Speaker 3: I had paid money and gone to a theater, I'd
- 9:16Speaker 3: have been pissed off.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Telling you, if you just you want to you want
- 9:20Speaker 2: to feel better about your life, choices, save the Marvel
- 9:23Speaker 2: movies for the theater and uh uh DC movies. When
- 9:27Speaker 2: you're on a plane and you're like and you don't
- 9:29Speaker 2: feel like watching a league of their own for the
- 9:30Speaker 2: thirtieth time.
- 9:37Speaker 4: You're in the tree House, visit us online at Treehouseonair
- 9:41Speaker 4: dot com.

- 10:05Speaker 2: sixty five in North Texas. Some people are hesitant to
- 10:08Speaker 2: believe that, but recent hal should convince them otherwise, Right.
- 10:11Speaker 5: Dan, we have very common occurrences twelve months a year here,
- 10:15Speaker 5: and I know it's shocking for some people to know that,
- 10:17Speaker 5: but new residents and people that have not been here
- 10:20Speaker 5: very long, you've got to be prepared year round. Just
- 10:23Speaker 5: last night, you know, we had two inch hal in Frisco.
- 10:28Speaker 5: It started out in an inch and then it worked
- 10:30Speaker 5: its way down almost fifteen miles. We had a hell
- 10:34Speaker 5: dropping around two to four o'clock in the morning. So
- 10:37Speaker 5: it can happen you've got to be prepared. Yeah, and
- 10:40Speaker 5: some people. We had several people call us this morning
- 10:43Speaker 5: after of course, you know, thankfully we've already got guys
- 10:45Speaker 5: a dispatch. They're already jumping up. We're finding substantial damage
- 10:49Speaker 5: in some pockets, but not everywhere. Some of the roofs
- 10:52Speaker 5: didn't get that much, and that's okay, but at least
- 10:54Speaker 5: you got to have the peace of mind of getting
- 10:56Speaker 5: somebody out there making sure, double checking. You don't want
- 10:59Speaker 5: to take a chance. And then let's say in December
- 11:03Speaker 5: and Christmas when we're all opening a presidence and we
- 11:07Speaker 5: actually have rain and it starts raining in your house
- 11:09Speaker 5: and you're like, what the heck is that from? Well,
- 11:11Speaker 5: it was from the storm from three or four months ago.

- 12:08Speaker 2: is fairlease dot Org. Uh hey, Jerry, how are you
- 12:13Speaker 2: doing well? Happy Tuesday? Real quick? Since we're coming off
- 12:16Speaker 2: the the Marvel DC thing, it wasn't an intended topic
- 12:20Speaker 2: on the show, but you know, we like to like
- 12:22Speaker 2: to wing it on occasion. So where are you? Are
- 12:25Speaker 2: you pro MCU or do you do you pro d C?
- 12:28Speaker 2: Do you choose sides or you just want to see
- 12:29Speaker 2: a good movie? Good movie? Where do you stand on that?
- 12:31Speaker 2: I forget, I realize as you're wearing a dead Pool shirt.
- 12:35Speaker 2: I think I already know the answer. I am.
- 12:37Speaker 6: I am totally MCU. My old time favorite character was
- 12:43Speaker 6: and still kind of is, Batman, but just just Batman
- 12:49Speaker 6: as far as like overall arching storyline characters all of that,
- 12:53Speaker 6: and Marvel all the way. Yeah, and Deadpool is my
- 12:57Speaker 6: obviously my my favorite Marble and right up there with Batman,
- 13:01Speaker 6: like right there yeah.
- 13:04Speaker 2: I think after the newest movie, and this is saying something,
- 13:07Speaker 2: I think after the newest Deadpool movie, I think Deadpool
- 13:10Speaker 2: has reached the top slot for a lot of us,
- 13:13Speaker 2: and that actually includes my wife. Because Tara didn't really
- 13:16Speaker 2: love the first one. I'd really, really really really liked
- 13:20Speaker 2: the first one. My one complaint about the first one
- 13:23Speaker 2: was I felt like, since it was the first comic
- 13:25Speaker 2: movie to get to use the F word, I actually
- 13:28Speaker 2: kind of felt like they overdid it, like they were
- 13:30Speaker 2: trying to make up for the previous twelve years of
- 13:33Speaker 2: not using it. But I still really, really really really
- 13:37Speaker 2: liked it. Second one I thought was a lot of fun.
- 13:39Speaker 2: This third one, though, was an absolute, if I can
- 13:43Speaker 2: steal the word of movie critics, a triumph. But Tara
- 13:46Speaker 2: wasn't crazy about the first two. The third one she loves.
- 13:49Speaker 2: This is one of her favorite movies. The third one
- 13:51Speaker 2: was absolutely absolutely amazing. The cameos, the music, Oh the music,
- 13:56Speaker 2: the music. That's how good it was. I think we
- 13:58Speaker 2: mentioned this the other day, or maybe Trey and I
- 14:00Speaker 2: just mentioned it after the after the movie, because me, Trey,
- 14:03Speaker 2: and Tara all went and saw it together, Deadpool and
- 14:06Speaker 2: Wolverine that Ryan Reynolds and Sean Levy and Hugh Jackman everyone.
- 14:11Speaker 2: They managed to take a bunch of songs that guys
- 14:14Speaker 2: of our age should not like and made them cool.
- 14:17Speaker 2: They made me want to listen to Avril Levine Awesome
- 14:22Speaker 2: while driving on Awesome.
- 14:24Speaker 6: I'm gonna I'm gonna learn the dance, you know, I
- 14:28Speaker 6: don't doubt it.
- 14:30Speaker 3: Bye Bye Bye Ratine.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:33Speaker 6: I think to me, a dead Fool outfit and uh,
- 14:36Speaker 6: get me some Admantium skeleton parts and it'll be.
- 14:40Speaker 2: A good Halloween costume. I still say, Trey, Trey, You've
- 14:43Speaker 2: got the ultimate opportunity here for Halloween. I fit the
- 14:47Speaker 2: fact that you are not a Halloween costume guy. If
- 14:50Speaker 2: there is one time in your life to wear a
- 14:53Speaker 2: Halloween costume, this is it. Not because I want to
- 14:56Speaker 2: see you in the Deadpool outfit, but mainly because I
- 14:59Speaker 2: want to see Daisy, your three pound choua addressed as
- 15:02Speaker 2: dog Pool. They could face awesome.
- 15:04Speaker 3: I Uh, I have looked at and it's something I
- 15:08Speaker 3: will have to have custom made. They simply do not
- 15:10Speaker 3: make a costume that small.
- 15:13Speaker 2: It'll be so worth it. Absolutely, but that.
- 15:17Speaker 3: The playlist for Deadpool and Wolverine, though that was one
- 15:21Speaker 3: of those playlists that whether or not we like them
- 15:25Speaker 3: or not, those were songs. I mean those were all
- 15:29Speaker 3: hit songs.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Yeah, we all know them.
- 15:32Speaker 4: Of our.
- 15:34Speaker 3: I would say early teens to mid thirties.
- 15:37Speaker 2: For me, Yeah, because going all the way back to
- 15:41Speaker 2: like our Prayer.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Yeah, like a Prayer was you know what early nineties?
- 15:46Speaker 2: Yeah? What, No, that was like eighty eight eighty nine.
- 15:49Speaker 2: I think, let me look this up real quick. Okay, yeah,
- 15:52Speaker 2: go for that. I was gonna do it, but yeah, please,
- 15:55Speaker 2: but because I because I still remember the controversy surrounding
- 15:58Speaker 2: the the video of the church Yeah yeah, and kissing
- 16:01Speaker 2: a black Man. The actor, by the way, was Leon Remember,
- 16:05Speaker 2: one of his one of his finest films, cool Running
- 16:09Speaker 2: and Dan is correct. It was released in nineteen eighty nine.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Hell yeah, I am the movie team.
- 16:18Speaker 6: My favorite statistic about the new Deadpool movie is the
- 16:23Speaker 6: MCU officially has had one hundred and nineteen f bombs.
- 16:28Speaker 6: One was in the Guardians of the Galaxy. Three, one
- 16:32Speaker 6: hundred and eighteen were in Deadpool, and I think.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Like a hundred of them. It felt like a hundred
- 16:39Speaker 2: of them were in the very first one. So where
- 16:41Speaker 2: I intended to start today was talking about how I'm
- 16:43Speaker 2: little anxious about getting on a plane tomorrow because today's
- 16:46Speaker 2: last day that we're in Texas. We're going to fly
- 16:48Speaker 2: back to the Islands tomorrow, and I'm a little nervous
- 16:53Speaker 2: about it because this is the time where we get
- 16:57Speaker 2: on a Spirit flight and drive and not drive, although
- 17:01Speaker 2: that may be a better option. Yeah, where we hop
- 17:04Speaker 2: on a Spirit flight and they don't have the screens
- 17:07Speaker 2: on the seats for entertainment, you have to download your
- 17:09Speaker 2: own stuff, right. They don't even give you the option
- 17:11Speaker 2: to buy something during the flight. The previous flights we've
- 17:14Speaker 2: taken had you know, it was quote unquote regular airlines.
- 17:18Speaker 2: So what had the screen so you could choose movies
- 17:20Speaker 2: to watch. So I got to download some stuff to watch.
- 17:24Speaker 2: So I'm a little nervous about getting on a plane
- 17:26Speaker 2: because I need to find something decent to download. But
- 17:29Speaker 2: the main reason I'm nervous is because not just the
- 17:33Speaker 2: fact that it's Spirit Airlines. I actually trust them getting
- 17:35Speaker 2: me to the islands. It's the only leg that we
- 17:37Speaker 2: actually trust them on. Is I'm a little I'm a
- 17:41Speaker 2: little worried about the whole in flight diarrhea situation because
- 17:48Speaker 2: I have flown at see one, two three four. I've
- 17:52Speaker 2: had four flights I think in the past two months,
- 17:55Speaker 2: going from the Islands to Dallas, Dallas to Seattle, Seattle
- 17:58Speaker 2: back to Dallas, and then we're about to go back
- 18:00Speaker 2: to the Islands, right, So one two three, one two
- 18:05Speaker 2: three four. Yeah, so four and two months. The last
- 18:08Speaker 2: flight I was on was a Delta flight, and I
- 18:10Speaker 2: was genuinely nervous trade because you know what happens on
- 18:12Speaker 2: Delta flights. It's those Those are the diarrhea flights. It's
- 18:14Speaker 2: diarrhea Delta. The last two times you've heard about flights
- 18:17Speaker 2: being turned around mid air because of a poopy biohazard
- 18:22Speaker 2: was Delta, and so I was genuinely concerned on this
- 18:28Speaker 2: flight back. Now I'm thinking, okay, I've skirted it so far.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Is it going to happen on this next one?
- 18:34Speaker 3: Let me get this straight. We're on the verge of
- 18:39Speaker 3: an all out war in the Middle East, and diarrhea
- 18:43Speaker 3: is why you're worried about getting on a plane.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't think Hezbella is gonna target a Spirit flight.
- 18:50Speaker 3: I mean, I think your destination to Saint Thomas is
- 18:54Speaker 3: fairly safe. I agree with you on that, but that
- 18:57Speaker 3: would be number one on my list of reasons why
- 18:59Speaker 3: I would not want to get an on a plane
- 19:00Speaker 3: right now.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Look, if I was getting on American or something like that,
- 19:03Speaker 2: then maybe I'd be a little more anxious, especially if
- 19:05Speaker 2: it was headed to a traditional East Coast you know
- 19:08Speaker 2: destination like DC, New York, Boston and the word American
- 19:12Speaker 2: on the side of.
- 19:12Speaker 3: The West Coast LA.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Yeah, sure that too. But I kind of I kind
- 19:17Speaker 2: of like to think that terrorists, if they're targeting planes,
- 19:21Speaker 2: if they see a Spirit flight, they're like, you know what,
- 19:22Speaker 2: those people have got a bad enough. They just picked
- 19:24Speaker 2: somebody up. Yeah they're good. Yeah, they're already miserable. Let's
- 19:29Speaker 2: pick something up. Yeah, because there might just be putting
- 19:32Speaker 2: people out of their misery on that flight. But I
- 19:35Speaker 2: did get stuck in the bathroom of my last flight,
- 19:40Speaker 2: and that was on Delta, like physically stuck, physically stuck. Yeah,
- 19:43Speaker 2: So I go to the bathroom. It's like, okay, we
- 19:45Speaker 2: The pilot comes over the PA and says, all right,
- 19:48Speaker 2: we've got about twenty twenty five minutes till we land,
- 19:51Speaker 2: so you know, everyone do all your stuff. So I
- 19:54Speaker 2: was like, all right, I'm gonna go on and go
- 19:55Speaker 2: to the bathroom real quick. So I get up there
- 19:58Speaker 2: and go to the bathroom, and but that took forty
- 20:01Speaker 2: five seconds in there, and then two minutes after that,
- 20:04Speaker 2: I'm struggling with the door handle because the damn thing
- 20:07Speaker 2: won't let me out. So I like, because you slide
- 20:11Speaker 2: the thing over to show that it's occupied, right, and
- 20:14Speaker 2: then you got to handle that's vertical and it kind
- 20:16Speaker 2: of turns right. So I'm trying to turn it back
- 20:18Speaker 2: and then also toggle the slide, trying to let me out,
- 20:21Speaker 2: and it won't do it no matter what I do.
- 20:23Speaker 2: How I jostle it, nudge it gently, headbutted a couple
- 20:28Speaker 2: of times, I think I need it, and then I
- 20:30Speaker 2: kicked it nothing. So then I'm like, Okay, well, I
- 20:33Speaker 2: know it's not safe for me to be in the
- 20:35Speaker 2: bathroom when we land because I may not survive that
- 20:40Speaker 2: if we have somewhat of a rough landing that and
- 20:42Speaker 2: I don't want to. I don't want to be the
- 20:44Speaker 2: guy that got stuck in the bathroom on a flight
- 20:46Speaker 2: because I know what's going to happen. There's going to
- 20:48Speaker 2: be a headline that's going to make national news. Idiot
- 20:53Speaker 2: gets stuck in airline bathroom during landing and drowned, and
- 21:00Speaker 2: then that would be me. And then so then one
- 21:02Speaker 2: of my worst case scenarios would come true, which is
- 21:06Speaker 2: you guys would be forced to make fun of me
- 21:08Speaker 2: on the show, because I've said, you have to if
- 21:10Speaker 2: I die in such a stupid fashion.
- 21:12Speaker 3: You would not die from that. You would live to
- 21:15Speaker 3: suffer us laughing at you for days on end as
- 21:18Speaker 3: we read, as you had to read your own headline.
- 21:23Speaker 6: It's probably somewhat like a porta potty. I mean, the
- 21:24Speaker 6: door is obviously built like a porta potty door, so
- 21:27Speaker 6: it might be a similar kind of a thing. A
- 21:28Speaker 6: lot of splashing around.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Ye, they're tougher, They're tougher. I've also been stuck into
- 21:33Speaker 2: porta potty, but I was able to get out of
- 21:34Speaker 2: that faster because you can pop the tops on those.
- 21:39Speaker 2: The look on people's faces is really interesting too, and
- 21:42Speaker 2: you come crawling out at the top of a porta potty.
- 21:44Speaker 2: But yeah, Trey, I think you're right. I think the
- 21:46Speaker 2: ultimate punishment would be that I survive such an ordeal
- 21:49Speaker 2: and that I'm forced to read the headline of my
- 21:52Speaker 2: own news making situation. Now I'm just imagining that, and
- 22:00Speaker 2: I'm putting myself in that place mentally and now physically.
- 22:04Speaker 2: I feel very unwell about it. So what I've so
- 22:08Speaker 2: you want to know how I got out. M The
- 22:13Speaker 2: guy that was trying to go to the bathroom after
- 22:14Speaker 2: me happened to open the door. That's the only reason
- 22:18Speaker 2: I got out, because the next step I was going
- 22:20Speaker 2: to take to try to get out was to the
- 22:24Speaker 2: slide that shows the bathrooms occupied or vacant. You know,
- 22:26Speaker 2: it goes red and green on a little light in
- 22:29Speaker 2: the aircraft. I was going to just start doing it
- 22:31Speaker 2: back and forth really quickly to hope someone would notice
- 22:33Speaker 2: that it's flashing and someone would come help. Because I
- 22:35Speaker 2: don't think there's a call button in the bathroom. Yeah
- 22:38Speaker 2: there is, Yeah, well try It was my first time
- 22:41Speaker 2: being locked in the bathroom. I didn't know there's a
- 22:43Speaker 2: call button in there. I'm just glad I know where
- 22:44Speaker 2: the flush button is without it sucking me into the
- 22:46Speaker 2: belly of the plane. That's news to me too. I'd
- 22:50Speaker 2: have been knocking, That's what I was doing. I was
- 22:52Speaker 2: kind of like leaning up against it.
- 22:53Speaker 3: So yeah, plus the bathrooms, you usually buy one of
- 22:56Speaker 3: the flight attendants, you know.
- 22:58Speaker 2: No, this was at the front, and the flight attenants
- 23:01Speaker 2: are all the way in the back. So when the
- 23:02Speaker 2: nice gentleman actually let me out of my capture box
- 23:06Speaker 2: in the air, there was no flight attendant right there
- 23:09Speaker 2: was just that guy next to the cockpit. I had
- 23:11Speaker 2: to go all the way to the back end of
- 23:13Speaker 2: the flight and tell the flight attendants, hey, so there's
- 23:15Speaker 2: an issue with that front bathroom. And to their credit,
- 23:19Speaker 2: one flight attendant seemed genuinely concerned. The other one looked
- 23:22Speaker 2: at me like I was the stupidest man he had
- 23:24Speaker 2: ever laid eyes on. You don't know how to work
- 23:27Speaker 2: a door handle. I know how to work a door
- 23:29Speaker 2: handling one working. The other guy was like, oh, I'm
- 23:31Speaker 2: so sorry, blah blah. Would you like a cookie? I'm like, yuess,
- 23:33Speaker 2: I would wash your hands first.
- 23:37Speaker 3: Mm.
- 23:38Speaker 2: But thank you Trey for giving me that wonderful piece
- 23:41Speaker 2: of information that there is in fact a call button
- 23:43Speaker 2: inside the bathroom, even though I needed it two weeks ago.
- 23:48Speaker 2: But if I ever get stuck in there again, I'm
- 23:50Speaker 2: gonna know, unless, of course, the next time I get
- 23:52Speaker 2: stuck is a spirit flight, in which case, if you
- 23:54Speaker 2: want to use the call button, it's probably under a
- 23:56Speaker 2: glass box. You have to swipe five bucks to have
- 23:59Speaker 2: access to it.
- 24:00Speaker 3: I figured like a spirit airlines. It's just like a
- 24:02Speaker 3: little horn like you you squeeze the ball and it
- 24:05Speaker 3: goes hong honk.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Like a clowne Oh, somebody's stuck in the bathroom again.
- 24:17Speaker 3: It's like on the outside like one of those you know,
- 24:21Speaker 3: little toy guns where you pull the trigger and a
- 24:23Speaker 3: little flag comes out to boom or something. You know.
- 24:25Speaker 3: It's the flag says help.
- 24:29Speaker 2: And the eye rolls begin to here we go again.

- 24:49Speaker 2: Let's get Jacqueline from Brooks Plumbing into the Treehouse now.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Their phone number for any and all of your plumbing
- 24:54Speaker 2: wants and needs two one, four, three six eight thirty
- 24:57Speaker 2: eight thirty eight. The website Brooks Plumbing, Texas dot Jacqueline,
- 25:01Speaker 2: Is there anything new and exciting in the world of plumbing,
- 25:03Speaker 2: some sort of new device or some new piece of
- 25:06Speaker 2: equipment that everyone needs to have in their homes.
- 25:09Speaker 8: You asked me this not too long ago. The answer,
- 25:12Speaker 8: there's not a lot, a whole lot of new inventions
- 25:14Speaker 8: going on, not that I'm aware of. At least. But
- 25:16Speaker 8: the new thing, in case anybody missed the memo before,
- 25:19Speaker 8: was that basically it's a secondary meter for lack of
- 25:23Speaker 8: better terminology, that tracks how much you're consuming, and in
- 25:26Speaker 8: the event that it thinks there's an unusual spike in consumption,
- 25:30Speaker 8: it'll cut off the water supply to the whole house,
- 25:33Speaker 8: ideally to stop your house from flooding, so that like
- 25:36Speaker 8: if you're on vacation you had a pipe urst, you
- 25:38Speaker 8: wouldn't come home and have to swim to the master bedroom.
- 25:42Speaker 8: And if you're one of those lucky people that has
- 25:43Speaker 8: a million plus dollar home, there's a lot of insurance
- 25:46Speaker 8: companies that are actually demanding that homeowners install those now
- 25:49Speaker 8: to mitigate their risk, which I think is very interesting
- 25:53Speaker 8: because the insurance in the state of Texas homeowners insurance
- 25:57Speaker 8: at least, is starting to get really pricey. But as
- 26:00Speaker 8: somebody who works on a lot of claims, I do
- 26:02Speaker 8: see a lot of really good homeowners insurance companies at
- 26:05Speaker 8: least covering real problems for people.
- 26:08Speaker 2: So I get it.
- 26:09Speaker 8: But you know, as far as mitigated risk goes, if
- 26:12Speaker 8: that's the company you choose to open, then I think
- 26:15Speaker 8: you have to accept that risk. So I think it's
- 26:17Speaker 8: funny that the insurance is shifting it to the homeowner.
- 26:20Speaker 2: I think that's interesting. Give Jacqueline a call for any
- 26:22Speaker 2: and all those plumbing wants and needs the new gadgets
- 26:24Speaker 2: when they come out. She's going to know about them
- 26:26Speaker 2: and can also help you on the insurance side of things.

- 27:16Speaker 2: I need to remember how to actually really enunciate that,
- 27:19Speaker 2: because that would be two completely different locations. Otherwise, go
- 27:23Speaker 2: to Hangman's dot com. All the information for the best

- 27:30Speaker 2: of the Metroplex, go to Hangman's dot com. It is
- 27:33Speaker 2: open now. Through Halloween. Actually, I think they have a
- 27:35Speaker 2: tendency to go to that weekend immediately following Halloween as well.
- 27:39Speaker 2: But this time of year is actually the best time
- 27:42Speaker 2: to go hit that haunted house because it's not quite
- 27:44Speaker 2: as busy as it will be that weekend right before Halloween.
- 27:48Speaker 2: So start going now and take friends, take family, go
- 27:51Speaker 2: have a great time at Hangman's in Fort Worth. Again.
- 27:54Speaker 2: The website is Hangman's dot com Best Haunted House in
- 27:58Speaker 2: North Texas Hangman's dot Huh, Jerry, I don't think you
- 28:04Speaker 2: were on the show. We talked about this before. There
- 28:08Speaker 2: was a rumor going around that Goonies Too was going
- 28:12Speaker 2: to happen m and we saw a word a day
- 28:16Speaker 2: or two after we saw the initial story that Gooni's
- 28:19Speaker 2: two was happening, that Goonies Too, in fact, is not happening.
- 28:21Speaker 2: It was a tabloid rumor not true. A couple of
- 28:26Speaker 2: cast members from the original came out and said it's
- 28:29Speaker 2: not happening, blah blah blah, which included Martha Plimpton. Also,
- 28:34Speaker 2: Sean Aston said it's not true. Although Shawn Aston's like,
- 28:37Speaker 2: let's do it, Stephen, and he's tagging Steven Spielberg. He's like,
- 28:39Speaker 2: I'm ready, let's do it. Corey Feldman said, it's absolutely
- 28:43Speaker 2: not happening, et cetera, et cetera, which you know, we
- 28:46Speaker 2: kind of wondered, well, are we sure that Corey Felderman's
- 28:49Speaker 2: in the loop on that, Like maybe they actually are
- 28:51Speaker 2: doing it and they just didn't want to tell Corey
- 28:53Speaker 2: Feldman that they're doing it, which would be awkward, But
- 28:57Speaker 2: it is in fact not happening. It was just a rumor.
- 28:59Speaker 2: There's no good these two. I saw that.
- 29:04Speaker 3: I think this is gonna be an interesting next year
- 29:06Speaker 3: for Corey Feldman because he is likely to be vindicated
- 29:13Speaker 3: for a lot of the crazy things we thought he
- 29:16Speaker 3: the things we thought he was crazy about, all the
- 29:19Speaker 3: bad crap that happened to him and all the corrupt,
- 29:23Speaker 3: weird power players in Hollywood and the music industry he did, well,
- 29:29Speaker 3: he may end up being vindicated for all of that.
- 29:32Speaker 2: So I believed him and still do. The only thing
- 29:36Speaker 2: I wondered was to what extent is that are those
- 29:42Speaker 2: claims within Hollywood? Like, in other words, like if there's
- 29:45Speaker 2: ten people in Hollywood and the stuff that Corey's talking about,
- 29:48Speaker 2: I can't remember if he was saying it was like
- 29:50Speaker 2: at least half or whatever the number was. My thought
- 29:52Speaker 2: was that I believe him. I just hope it's not
- 29:55Speaker 2: as pervasive as he's saying now his experience, it might
- 29:59Speaker 2: be that that way, because maybe he was just in
- 30:01Speaker 2: that circle and that's all he you know, saw There
- 30:05Speaker 2: are good There are some good people in Hollywood. I
- 30:07Speaker 2: just don't know if they're in the minority or the majority.
- 30:10Speaker 2: But you're right, because Feldman's gonna be vindicated on a
- 30:13Speaker 2: lot of this stuff. There are a lot of things
- 30:16Speaker 2: coming to the surface right now, and honestly, I'm surprised
- 30:19Speaker 2: a lot of Yeah, I'm surprised. A lot of these
- 30:21Speaker 2: things that are that are coming to the surface haven't
- 30:23Speaker 2: come to the surface sooner. But there is a new
- 30:29Speaker 2: wrinkle on the Corey Feldman front that I was not expecting. Because, look,
- 30:33Speaker 2: we all give him a hard time because Okay, he
- 30:34Speaker 2: was a he was a prolific child actor. Then he
- 30:37Speaker 2: still had great success as a teenager into his early twenties. Uh.
- 30:42Speaker 2: And honestly, one of my favorite roles of his was
- 30:44Speaker 2: one of his smaller roles was in the Burbs with
- 30:47Speaker 2: Tom Hanks, phenomenal film, and that's honestly one of the
- 30:52Speaker 2: more recent films of his. I remember the other one
- 30:54Speaker 2: that I've brought up a couple of times, and here
- 30:56Speaker 2: was one of the last ones he did with Corey Haim,
- 30:59Speaker 2: which was Blown Away. That was their attempt at the
- 31:01Speaker 2: adult film where their arsonists or bomb makers or something,
- 31:05Speaker 2: and that's when they both share Nicole Eggert in a
- 31:07Speaker 2: shower or something. Yes, I've seen the movie and it Israel.
- 31:10Speaker 2: It does exist. But he's not really done much since
- 31:14Speaker 2: he's had some banned things. I think he was working
- 31:16Speaker 2: as a Michael Jackson impersonator for a while, or at
- 31:18Speaker 2: least dressed as one. But he's going through a tough
- 31:22Speaker 2: time because recently he's going through a divorce, and celebrity
- 31:27Speaker 2: divorces are always fascinating to me because that's when all
- 31:31Speaker 2: their financial stuff gets disclosed. And for as much as
- 31:36Speaker 2: people make fun of Corey Feldman, and we're guilty of
- 31:38Speaker 2: an on occasion in here as well, the dude's doing
- 31:42Speaker 2: just fine for himself, because when you're that prolific as
- 31:45Speaker 2: an actor in Hollywood, as he was for many many years,
- 31:50Speaker 2: I think he's getting some decent residuals. So despite the
- 31:52Speaker 2: fact that he's going through a divorce. His strange wife, Courtney,
- 31:56Speaker 2: is seeking additional spousal support. I guess they got married
- 32:01Speaker 2: in twenty sixteen. They separated last year. But since all
- 32:05Speaker 2: these financial documents are being disclosed in court, we now
- 32:08Speaker 2: find out that Corey Feldon is not exactly hurting. He's
- 32:12Speaker 2: making six figures per month. Well, so he's got goonies money,
- 32:21Speaker 2: So joke's on us. So by himself he could save
- 32:25Speaker 2: the guondocks, which wouldn't that be an interesting goonies too.
- 32:30Speaker 3: Listen, I saw recently there was a clip of him,
- 32:35Speaker 3: you know, doing a and honestly what he does if
- 32:40Speaker 3: y'all remember it back in the day when like Tiffany
- 32:42Speaker 3: did mal concerts, A lot of what he does look
- 32:46Speaker 3: like that. But there it was overseas, but it was
- 32:53Speaker 3: surprisingly a lot of people for a Corey Feldman concert.
- 32:59Speaker 2: Dude's famous and he's got fans and those some of
- 33:03Speaker 2: those fans are worldwide. But his ex wife Courtney currently
- 33:08Speaker 2: gets two thousand dollars a month from him in spousal support, which,
- 33:13Speaker 2: if we're being honest by Hollywood standards, that's pretty low,
- 33:16Speaker 2: especially especially since she claims he makes more than two
- 33:21Speaker 2: hundred and eighty thousand dollars in movie and TV residuals,
- 33:25Speaker 2: touring and appearances and merch per month. She's asking now
- 33:30Speaker 2: for a raise to five thousand dollars a month, which
- 33:34Speaker 2: again percentage wise, is pretty low. Like usually in California,
- 33:38Speaker 2: what is it at least like for alimony it's at
- 33:40Speaker 2: least twenty percent, and then with Hollywood stuff, it seems
- 33:42Speaker 2: to be even higher because you hear about some of
- 33:45Speaker 2: these mega rich celebrities wanting what was that? I think
- 33:49Speaker 2: I think even Kim Kardashian was getting like six figures
- 33:52Speaker 2: a month from from Kanye even though she's got her
- 33:55Speaker 2: own stack of cash.
- 33:58Speaker 3: Did you see the story? And I have not verified this,
- 34:01Speaker 3: but I've read it enough that I think there's some
- 34:04Speaker 3: truth to it. I think it was fifty cents. Had
- 34:07Speaker 3: his ex was he had been paying her like forty
- 34:11Speaker 3: thousand a month for child support and she wanted more,
- 34:15Speaker 3: so he took himself to court to get on state
- 34:21Speaker 3: child support, which you know, your capped, so it went
- 34:24Speaker 3: for forty thousand to nine thousand dollars. Because that's the max.
- 34:30Speaker 2: I was like, that's I didn't know that was an
- 34:33Speaker 2: option in California. Why is everyone else not taking advantage
- 34:36Speaker 2: of it the way Fitty did?
- 34:39Speaker 3: Because I think a lot of it you get down
- 34:40Speaker 3: to also spousal support or whatever. But this was a
- 34:43Speaker 3: straight child support case. And most states there is a cap,
- 34:48Speaker 3: like there's a magimum amount.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I do know in Texas there is that. I
- 34:53Speaker 2: know that exists. I remember reading about that in Deon
- 34:55Speaker 2: Sanders' divorce stuff and how you it's like a twenty
- 34:59Speaker 2: percent and then there is a max I think per
- 35:02Speaker 2: child or something like that. So you know what good
- 35:05Speaker 2: good for Fitty and that's Look, you're supposed to take
- 35:08Speaker 2: care of yours. But if you're making forty thousand dollars
- 35:11Speaker 2: a month, don't get greedy. That's already well beyond a
- 35:14Speaker 2: normal full time job.
- 35:15Speaker 3: You're not making forty thousand, yeah, I mean you're you're
- 35:19Speaker 3: getting gifted forty thousand a month because obviously, I mean
- 35:22Speaker 3: that's plenty of plenty of money to raise a child on.
- 35:25Speaker 3: Oh yeah, even in California.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Inflation ain't that bad, Like it's it's it's kind of bad,
- 35:33Speaker 2: but it ain't that bad. But I love the tactic.
- 35:39Speaker 2: I really do like you go from forty thousand dollars
- 35:41Speaker 2: a month. Oh, and because he could have said, you
- 35:42Speaker 2: really want to take this to court and she said yes.
- 35:44Speaker 2: It's like okay, okay.
- 35:46Speaker 3: I actually saw that was there's a TikTok channel of
- 35:51Speaker 3: a judge. She's actually I believe she's in Dallas, a
- 35:53Speaker 3: family court judge is a black lady. She's funnier in hell.
- 35:56Speaker 3: But uh, I've seen that on her channel a couple
- 35:58Speaker 3: of times where yeah, he's being really generous and they
- 36:03Speaker 3: ended up taking themselves to court and they're they're like, yeah,
- 36:06Speaker 3: I only make this amount of money. They're like, oh,
- 36:09Speaker 3: well you're capped out at you know where they're given
- 36:11Speaker 3: you know, like five six thousand dollars a months of
- 36:13Speaker 3: their the mom and she's like, no, you're you're kept
- 36:17Speaker 3: out at twenty eight hundred.
- 36:19Speaker 2: All right, thank you, judge.
- 36:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I want to.
- 36:24Speaker 2: Walk off like like they did on People's Court when
- 36:26Speaker 2: they when they leave the courtroom and they get interviewed
- 36:28Speaker 2: immediately afterwards, and then you know the dad saying like, man,
- 36:31Speaker 2: I should have sued myself years ago.
- 36:33Speaker 3: Yeah, a lot of it it looked more like, you know,
- 36:36Speaker 3: I'm Mariy Povich and says you're not the father and
- 36:39Speaker 3: you get that dance.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Yeah, you get you get the happiest of happy dances. Uh.
- 36:45Speaker 2: And then it's and I would actually like this. I'd
- 36:47Speaker 2: like that lady to have her own show and not
- 36:49Speaker 2: call it family court, but few court. There you go.
- 36:53Speaker 3: There's one clip and it is priceless of a woman
- 36:57Speaker 3: who's getting paid. Like the guy has the kids, he's
- 37:04Speaker 3: still paying the mom child support of like, and she's
- 37:10Speaker 3: like a dancer, but she makes six figures. Oh okay,
- 37:15Speaker 3: and they go through everything and the judges, you know,
- 37:18Speaker 3: she's like, all right, well you're her your numbers, you know,
- 37:22Speaker 3: it's like twenty one hundred, and then you reimburse the
- 37:25Speaker 3: state three hundred twenty four to eighty five. And the
- 37:27Speaker 3: woman's like, ha, has what you got to pay and
- 37:29Speaker 3: they're like, no, no, that's you've got to pay. And
- 37:34Speaker 3: look on the woman's face. That's priceless.
- 37:38Speaker 2: It turns out this what yeah, this this court is
- 37:42Speaker 2: not a one way only.
- 37:44Speaker 3: Like when they live with the other one, you don't
- 37:47Speaker 3: get child support.
- 37:52Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I love I just I absolutely love in
- 37:55Speaker 2: like karma and come uppin's and consequences and that's a
- 37:59Speaker 2: beautiful one right there. Thank you for sharing that with me. Trey,
- 38:02Speaker 2: I'm I'm going to uh when I get on a
- 38:04Speaker 2: plane tomorrow, I'm going to think about that and smile.
- 38:07Speaker 3: I'll find the clip for.
- 38:08Speaker 2: You that will give me something to watch on the plane.
- 38:11Speaker 2: Thank you.

- 39:38Speaker 2: one four three six eight thirty eight thirty eight. The
- 39:41Speaker 2: website Brooks Plumbingtexas dot com. Daniel Maley, Tray Trendholme, Jerry
- 39:46Speaker 2: Caldwell inside the Treehouse with you and Trey. You actually
- 39:50Speaker 2: sent me this story last week, and usually things have
- 39:53Speaker 2: about a one week's shelf life before we turn them
- 39:56Speaker 2: over and just move on to new things. But the
- 39:58Speaker 2: headline on this one is so good I feel like
- 40:01Speaker 2: we just can't ignore it. So here we have a
- 40:05Speaker 2: Utah man has filed emotion to remove the judge over
- 40:09Speaker 2: his case for treason and have him hanged. I'm gonna
- 40:15Speaker 2: read that a second time so you can really soak
- 40:17Speaker 2: it in. A Utah man has filed emotion to remove
- 40:20Speaker 2: a judge for treason and have him hanged. I would
- 40:25Speaker 2: like to wonder at this point, can you be held
- 40:30Speaker 2: in contempt of court if it's in an official filing
- 40:34Speaker 2: with the court in which you're being contempt or is
- 40:36Speaker 2: that more of a off the tough kind of thing
- 40:39Speaker 2: that just happens in court. I'm gonna hold you in contempt.
- 40:42Speaker 2: I'm not a lawyer, so I don't know, but I
- 40:45Speaker 2: can't imagine the judge was receptive to that motion.
- 40:50Speaker 6: I'm sure there's something there. I can't think of what it's,
- 40:53Speaker 6: what it's called. But when you knowingly file something ridiculous,
- 41:00Speaker 6: that's frivolous.
- 41:01Speaker 3: Yeah, wasting the courts time. Uh yeah. I didn't realize. Again,
- 41:07Speaker 3: another things you find on TikTok is I did not
- 41:09Speaker 3: realize that sovereign citizens were still as pervasive as are yea.
- 41:13Speaker 2: Careful tray, careful, do do not let that sewer hatch
- 41:18Speaker 2: get blown up in your face, because as you and
- 41:20Speaker 2: I well know, you start looking at things. You look
- 41:23Speaker 2: at something once online, it's now going to follow you
- 41:26Speaker 2: to see if you want to watch more of it,
- 41:27Speaker 2: whether it's YouTube TikTok, which, by the way, can I
- 41:32Speaker 2: just point out that of all of us inside the
- 41:34Speaker 2: treehouse on this show, that would be the TikTok fiend.
- 41:37Speaker 2: I think Trey would have been the last guess out
- 41:40Speaker 2: of anybody's mouth. But he's Trey is our tiktoks are.
- 41:45Speaker 3: It's a great format and uh but yeah, that's uh.
- 41:50Speaker 3: I just I thought that had gone away years ago,
- 41:53Speaker 3: but evidently it's I don't know if it made a
- 41:55Speaker 3: comeback or if it's always been around.
- 41:57Speaker 2: But it's always been there, just beneath the surfa, always
- 42:00Speaker 2: ready and waiting for you in case you feel like
- 42:03Speaker 2: having your head smacked in or your car windows smashed
- 42:08Speaker 2: because you feel like you don't have to show the
- 42:11Speaker 2: officer your license because you don't have one, because you
- 42:14Speaker 2: look back to something in the Articles of Confederation from
- 42:17Speaker 2: the nineteenth century I'm sorry, the eighteenth century claiming that
- 42:21Speaker 2: you don't need a driver's license.
- 42:23Speaker 3: My favorite is there's one judge because that one other
- 42:25Speaker 3: big things is, you know, excite the fourteenth Amendment of
- 42:28Speaker 3: Supreme Court rulliant they have the right to travel, And
- 42:29Speaker 3: he's like, you do have the right to travel. You
- 42:31Speaker 3: can walk your happy ass for point A to point
- 42:33Speaker 3: B all day long, but if you get in a car,
- 42:35Speaker 3: then you have to obey the state laws.
- 42:36Speaker 2: That's right. And I hate those people. I hate it.
- 42:42Speaker 2: I hate them, and I know that people who knows
- 42:44Speaker 2: supposed to hate people. I hate those people. Sovereign citizens suck.
- 42:47Speaker 2: I hate them. Get out. I hate them. That's the
- 42:51Speaker 2: whole thing. It's like, if you, if you do not
- 42:54Speaker 2: claim a country, then find you a tiny little island
- 42:57Speaker 2: someplace where you can plant your own stupid little flo
- 43:01Speaker 2: and try to live on it without all the conveniences
- 43:03Speaker 2: that we have here in our great nation. Tell you what,
- 43:09Speaker 2: maybe baby step it instead of going to your own
- 43:11Speaker 2: remote island that is unclaimed by anybody, which good luck
- 43:14Speaker 2: with that. We just learned at the road show the
- 43:16Speaker 2: other day that the Navajo are claiming the moon, so
- 43:18Speaker 2: kind of good on them, But good luck finding an
- 43:21Speaker 2: unclaimed piece of property on the planet when some of
- 43:24Speaker 2: us are already claiming places off the planet. But instead
- 43:28Speaker 2: of trying to find your own little piece of property
- 43:31Speaker 2: to claim as yours and truly live as a sovereign
- 43:34Speaker 2: citizen and part of your own nation, why don't you
- 43:37Speaker 2: try going to someplace like Uzbekistan or something and live
- 43:42Speaker 2: in a genuine third world country in Africa or something,
- 43:46Speaker 2: and then come and talk to me about how much
- 43:49Speaker 2: entitlement you think you deserve in our country. Sorry, it
- 43:55Speaker 2: just I'm on my soapbox, which is one of the
- 43:58Speaker 2: things I'm allowed to do in this beautiful you.
- 44:00Speaker 3: Know, or go to go to China, go to Russia,
- 44:05Speaker 3: go some of the and and declare your sovereign citizenship.
- 44:10Speaker 6: Oh yeah, and make sure to video that for us
- 44:12Speaker 6: ye live streaming, because the tape ain't gonna make it.
- 44:18Speaker 3: They claim their too.
- 44:22Speaker 2: A man who allegedly filed a motion to have the
- 44:24Speaker 2: judge in his criminal case removed because of treason and
- 44:27Speaker 2: also suggested the judge should be hanged, is now facing
- 44:31Speaker 2: a shocker new criminal charge. Elijah Nehemiah Madden, forty, of Genola,
- 44:36Speaker 2: Utah County, was charged in Fourth District Court with threatening
- 44:40Speaker 2: a judge, which is a third degree felony. So I
- 44:42Speaker 2: guess that answers my question. Just because you make it
- 44:46Speaker 2: an official court filing doesn't mean it's not a crime
- 44:51Speaker 2: threatening a judge. You just made it really official.
- 44:54Speaker 6: I would like to file emotion to have his ass whooped.
- 44:57Speaker 6: Oh sir, you can't, you can't. You can't do that.
- 45:01Speaker 2: Sorry, writing, Yeah, exactly, mate. It's like, not only is
- 45:07Speaker 2: the crime in writing, but so is the evidence. It's
- 45:09Speaker 2: all one piece. It's all one piece. It's right there.
- 45:11Speaker 2: He was charged in November twenty twenty three, and Fourth
- 45:13Speaker 2: District Court with being a restricted person in possession of
- 45:16Speaker 2: a firearm and child in dangerment third degree felonies, and
- 45:19Speaker 2: marijuana possession a Class B misdemeanor. On August fifth, while
- 45:21Speaker 2: representing himself in the case, but of course, he filed
- 45:25Speaker 2: the motion for removal of judge for reason of treason.
- 45:28Speaker 2: Part of the motion states, if the judge in his
- 45:30Speaker 2: case commits felony treason by failing to protect the US Constitution,
- 45:33Speaker 2: then he will be taken by posse to the nearest
- 45:35Speaker 2: busy intersection and hung a high noon by the neck
- 45:38Speaker 2: until dead, the body to remain in state till dusk
- 45:41Speaker 2: as an example to anyone who takes his oath of
- 45:44Speaker 2: office lightly. I'm just going to refer to this as
- 45:46Speaker 2: the dead Wood motion. This guy sounds like an absolute
- 45:50Speaker 2: pleasure to hang out with.
- 45:53Speaker 3: I believe there's another part of the if he a
- 45:56Speaker 3: little bit further.
- 45:57Speaker 2: His first arrest in July of twenty twenty two, he
- 46:01Speaker 2: was arrested for standing in the middle of I fifteen,
- 46:04Speaker 2: waving his arms while carrying a gun in a holster.
- 46:12Speaker 2: There you have it. Also, during an inventory search of
- 46:17Speaker 2: his vehicle, from the same arrest. A two two three
- 46:20Speaker 2: caliber AR fifteen style firearm was located, along with several
- 46:23Speaker 2: magazines loaded with armor piercing ammunition and an open bottle
- 46:27Speaker 2: of tequila and an open bottle of whiskey. Okay, and
- 46:34Speaker 2: if you're gunna, you're gonna go out, You go out,
- 46:37Speaker 2: all right? What is it they say, Trey? It's like
- 46:41Speaker 2: I know they say beer before liquor and ever sicker.
- 46:44Speaker 2: And but what about mixing your liquors? That's where you
- 46:47Speaker 2: end up on I fifteen waving a gun around? Yes,
- 46:53Speaker 2: So does that mean so was he sober when he
- 46:55Speaker 2: filed the motion in court to have the judge removed
- 46:58Speaker 2: because of trees and say he should be hanged at
- 47:01Speaker 2: high noon? It had the neck until dead.
- 47:05Speaker 3: I have a feeling Elijah is just a sober ish Yeah.
- 47:11Speaker 2: I don't think him and sober have known each other
- 47:13Speaker 2: for a very long time.
- 47:15Speaker 3: But clearly at one point, I mean, you get named Elijah,
- 47:19Speaker 3: I imagine there's a backstory there, some very a lot
- 47:22Speaker 3: of religion at one point in his life.
- 47:25Speaker 2: Well, yeah, especially because his middle name was Neamyah.
- 47:28Speaker 3: Yeah, he might have had seven moms.
- 47:38Speaker 2: No wonder he's so angry. Thanks for hanging out with
- 47:44Speaker 2: us inside the Treehouse today. Jerry always good sceneing. Go
