- 1:13Sean McAllister: Well, here in Vegas, uh, we are headed into uh Halloween weekend, but there have already been Halloween festivities taking place all over town.
- 1:22Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and we always have a lot of attractions um in town, like the month before, over Halloween, then it like lasts a couple more weeks sometimes.
- 1:32Dayna Roselli: But um, and then we have a new like attraction that will be here forever, and that's that universal horror attraction that's all year round.
- 1:40Sean McAllister: Right, over at uh Area 15.
- 1:42Sean McAllister: So people who want to get their fright in on the most frightful day of the year.
- 1:47Sean McAllister: This is the the time to do it.
- 1:49Sean McAllister: But then if you want to have uh frightful festivities any other time of year, you can go and celebrate that over there too.
- 1:57Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I mean, people have been, I've noticed like in my lobby, because I live in a building, like as of three weeks ago, people were dressing up for parties and stuff.
- 2:05Dayna Roselli: Really?
- 2:05Dayna Roselli: One girl was sitting outside on a bench and she was all bloody, and I was like, Are you okay?
- 2:10Dayna Roselli: And she's like, Oh, yeah, I'm going to Halloween party.
- 2:13Sean McAllister: Oh my gosh.
- 2:14Sean McAllister: Well, that is a little jarring.
- 2:16Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 2:16Dayna Roselli: I mean, she had like fake blood dripping down her, and I was like, Oh, okay, got it.
- 2:21Sean McAllister: Jeez.
- 2:22Sean McAllister: Well, we went to a Halloween party that was um not as uh gory as that.
- 2:29Dayna Roselli: No, they had some good costumes of some people.
- 2:32Dayna Roselli: The theme was icons.
- 2:33Dayna Roselli: You guys were the teletubbies, iconic.
- 2:36Sean McAllister: We had a Selena, Jesus showed up with wine in hand, a box of wine.
- 2:43Dayna Roselli: Beetlejuice.
- 2:46Dayna Roselli: Like it's crazy how good some of the costumes can really be.
- 2:49Sean McAllister: With a sign.
- 2:49Dayna Roselli: I was dude with a sign.
- 2:51Dayna Roselli: Yes, and I posted it.
- 2:54Dayna Roselli: One of my little signs said, because I had several different slogans was adults shouldn't wear Halloween costumes.
- 2:59Dayna Roselli: That was kind of my way out from having to really put a lot of thought and effort into it.
- 3:03Dayna Roselli: I'm not much of a Halloween person.
- 3:04Dayna Roselli: However, ironically, I'm dressed up as dude with a sign holding the thing.
- 3:09Dayna Roselli: So it's kind of just a funny here.
- 3:10Dayna Roselli: I am dressed up, and then I'm like, adult shouldn't wear Halloween costumes.
- 3:15Dayna Roselli: And then I got a like from dude with a sign himself, and I felt like okay, approved.
- 3:21Sean McAllister: Dude with a sign endorsed your costume.
- 3:24Dayna Roselli: He did.
- 3:25Dayna Roselli: I was like, I'm gonna put a hoodie on, jeans, and hold some cardboard.
- 3:29Dayna Roselli: But I um done I couldn't think of an icon that I was like looking similar to because I started thinking like what would be easier for you know for me.
- 3:36Dayna Roselli: And I'm like, I don't really look like a lot of icons.
- 3:38Dayna Roselli: I thought about share, but somebody said they were gonna be share, and so I thought, eh.
- 3:42Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I'm moving on to something more simple.
- 3:44Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 3:44Sean McAllister: So well, it worked, it was fun though, right?
- 3:47Sean McAllister: And you had us in our uh teletubby costumes do a TikTok.
- 3:52Dayna Roselli: We did, it's on my personal TikTok, Dana Roselli TV.
- 3:56Dayna Roselli: You guys have to see it.
- 3:58Dayna Roselli: Pamela Pumpkin's Halloween workout is a trending thing, and I had Sean and Shane do it for TikTok, and it's off the charts.
- 4:10Dayna Roselli: People are loving it, and you guys really nailed it.
- 4:13Sean McAllister: Well, maybe on Halloween, maybe I'll I'll post it on Instagram and and tag Vegas Revealed in there too, so that we can sh share the the special moment with everyone.
- 4:26Dayna Roselli: You definitely need to.
- 4:28Dayna Roselli: You need to share it.
- 4:29Dayna Roselli: It's great.
- 4:29Dayna Roselli: Yeah, those costumes were legit.
- 4:32Sean McAllister: Yeah, I was shocked.
- 4:33Sean McAllister: I wasn't expecting them to be like like mascot level costumes.
- 4:38Dayna Roselli: Anyone needs a teletubby costume?
- 4:40Sean McAllister: We got two.
- 4:41Sean McAllister: We got green and purple for rent.
- 4:43Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 4:43Dayna Roselli: So happy Halloween, everyone.
- 4:45Dayna Roselli: Stay safe if you've got kids going door to door and all that kind of thing.
- 4:48Dayna Roselli: We have so many different safe Halloween events all around Las Vegas.
- 4:52Dayna Roselli: But you know, you might be listening to this after Las Vegas too.
- 4:54Dayna Roselli: So we want to talk about other things as well.
- 4:57Dayna Roselli: And one of them is SEMA Fest that's coming up.
- 4:59Sean McAllister: Yeah, so SEMA is this uh big automotive convention that happens here in Las Vegas every single year.
- 5:06Sean McAllister: Uh basically, if you you think about it like this like after you buy a car and drive it off the lot, think of all the things that you can do to modify your vehicle.
- 5:16Sean McAllister: That's the kind of stuff that's on display at SEMA.
- 5:20Sean McAllister: Any way that you can soup up your vehicle from tires to I don't know, engine things, tinting, uh uh decals, wrapping.
- 5:32Dayna Roselli: Well, all of it.
- 5:33Dayna Roselli: I live near the convention center and I hear a lot of soup zooping.
- 5:36Dayna Roselli: Souping?
- 5:37Dayna Roselli: Zoop up your car, would you just say soup it up?
- 5:39Dayna Roselli: Soup it up.
- 5:40Dayna Roselli: I hear a lot of souping um across the way it's during Zima Fest.
- 5:45Sean McAllister: Hoonigans.
- 5:46Sean McAllister: They're the big ones who are out there and have the tires squealing.
- 5:50Sean McAllister: That and all of it.
- 5:52Sean McAllister: The smoke rising up from all the tires like burning off the car.
- 5:56Dayna Roselli: That.
- 5:56Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 5:58Dayna Roselli: I hear a lot of that.
- 5:59Dayna Roselli: I hear a lot of music.
- 6:00Sean McAllister: Lots of music.
- 6:01Dayna Roselli: It's definitely a big deal when it comes to town.
- 6:04Dayna Roselli: Lots of people go to this, right?
- 6:05Sean McAllister: It is, it's is a huge deal.
- 6:07Sean McAllister: And part of this is, as you mentioned, Dana, they're doing SEMA Fest, uh, which is an like a big festival with some pretty big name music uh acts that are headlining, including Queens of the Stone Age, The Black Crows, and Neon Trees.
- 6:26Sean McAllister: So that's fantastic.
- 6:27Dayna Roselli: That's a great lineup, yeah.
- 6:28Sean McAllister: Plus, there's gonna be a bunch of automotive demonstrations.
- 6:31Sean McAllister: They're gonna be doing drifting out there, motor sports, custom vehicle displays.
- 6:36Sean McAllister: It's all out there and uh taking place SEMA is November 4th through 7th, and SEMA Fest kind of closes it all out on the evening of Friday, November 7th.
- 6:49Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 6:50Dayna Roselli: Then I was reading, I saw this little part in the information they sent us that before the music starts at SEMA Fest, that automotive enthusiasts can cap off the week with a rare opportunity to experience the SEMA show during SEMA show Friday, which is open to the public on November 7th.
- 7:07Sean McAllister: So very cool.
- 7:08Dayna Roselli: I feel like that's a cool thing too.
- 7:10Dayna Roselli: Like if you've like, I want to go over there and see it, but I don't wanna, yeah, so I don't know.
- 7:13Dayna Roselli: Um, they do have a website where you have all sorts of different ticket options and things like that.
- 7:18Dayna Roselli: So check them out.
- 7:19Dayna Roselli: You can probably just Google it out.
- 7:20Dayna Roselli: I think it is SEMAFest, yes, SEMAFest.com.
- 7:23Dayna Roselli: There's a general admission price, uh VIP, the SEMA show Friday that's open to the public.
- 7:30Dayna Roselli: It looks like that is 140 bucks.
- 7:34Dayna Roselli: But I'm assuming because it says open to the public, that the other days are just for people who are in the industry.
- 7:42Sean McAllister: Right.
- 7:42Sean McAllister: And you need to register ahead of time, got it like you would for any other kind of convention.
- 7:47Sean McAllister: But then yeah, that Friday is for anyone who just wants to get a essentially a day pass to go and check it out.
- 7:53Sean McAllister: But I've been over to cover it several times in years past, and it really I mean, it's uh uh pretty cool to go and see uh everything that that is a part of SEMA.
- 8:07Dayna Roselli: Whenever um the night ends or the day ends, I always see a big line of cars heading out.
- 8:11Dayna Roselli: So funny.
- 8:12Dayna Roselli: They're all souped up, as you call it.
- 8:14Sean McAllister: It's great.
- 8:16Dayna Roselli: Um, well, listen, you can get souped up online over at a news show at crystals at aria.
- 8:24Dayna Roselli: That's the shopping center that's right next to Aria.
- 8:27Dayna Roselli: Uh great space.
- 8:28Dayna Roselli: We've talked about this uh space before, it's where the immersive van Gogh exhibit is, right next to the Princess Diana exhibit, actually, up there.
- 8:36Dayna Roselli: I walked by for the first time the other day.
- 8:38Sean McAllister: Yeah, they have some good stuff in that Princess Diana exhibit.
- 8:41Dayna Roselli: They do, really nice.
- 8:42Dayna Roselli: Um, but this is called In Poor Taste, and they're doing the show at five o'clock, and we went to opening night, and we were very impressed.
- 8:51Dayna Roselli: A, it was very funny.
- 8:53Dayna Roselli: B, you get a lot of wine in your ticket price.
- 8:56Sean McAllister: Yeah, the ticket price is what 69 bucks.
- 8:59Sean McAllister: And as part of that, you get five, they pour you five uh glasses of wine.
- 9:05Sean McAllister: Different kinds, and they're pretty decent pours.
- 9:09Sean McAllister: I mean, I've been wine tasting before where you get just like a little sip.
- 9:13Dayna Roselli: No, this was like half a glass.
- 9:14Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 9:15Dayna Roselli: I mean, I don't know if we were special.
- 9:16Dayna Roselli: I don't think so, because it looked like he was doing that around the room.
- 9:18Sean McAllister: I looked around the room and looked like everyone was kind of the same level.
- 9:22Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 9:22Sean McAllister: So that's a pr that's a pretty darn good deal in and of itself.
- 9:26Sean McAllister: If you went to any bar in Las Vegas and got five glasses of wine, we're talking what?
- 9:31Dayna Roselli: $125.
- 9:33Dayna Roselli: Easy.
- 9:34Dayna Roselli: Something like that.
- 9:35Dayna Roselli: Easy.
- 9:35Sean McAllister: So this is a bargain, first of all.
- 9:38Sean McAllister: And you get some incredible comedy on top of it.
- 9:41Dayna Roselli: You do.
- 9:41Dayna Roselli: It's it was really fun.
- 9:42Dayna Roselli: I loved it like it felt very like the whole room was involved.
- 9:46Dayna Roselli: We were laughing, and there is some, you know, wine knowledge in there as well, which is cool.
- 9:50Dayna Roselli: So it's a great mix of both.
- 9:52Dayna Roselli: They had us laughing, and then you learn about, you know, the wine that they're pouring in front of you, and just about wine in general.
- 9:59Dayna Roselli: So it was really interesting, and I think it's a great addition.
- 10:02Sean McAllister: Well, and it's funny because there's uh in addition to the the two hosts, uh Sweeney Preston and Evan Kavanaugh, who you're gonna hear from in just a minute, um, they also involve a Samelier who has all of the wine knowledge.
- 10:18Sean McAllister: Right.
- 10:18Sean McAllister: And they they do a good job of keeping the mood light because I know from personal experience, hearing somebody explain wine uh stuff, if you're not like super into it, it can be uh a little like over my head or a little dry.
- 10:38Sean McAllister: Right, and they keep it light and they keep it moving and they kind of make fun of the fact that it can be dry sometimes.
- 10:44Sean McAllister: So it's a great experience.
- 10:46Dayna Roselli: It it really is.
- 10:47Dayna Roselli: It's a lot of fun.
- 10:48Dayna Roselli: Well, we caught up with Sweeney Preston and Ethan Kavanaugh right before the show started to talk to them about bringing this show here.
- 10:55Dayna Roselli: They're from Australia.
- 10:56Sean McAllister: So when people step in here and sit down at a table with the glasses in front of them, what kind of experience are they going to get?
- 11:03SPEAKER_04: Well, they're gonna be met by two very handsome, very charming Australians.
- 11:07SPEAKER_04: That's the first thing that happens.
- 11:08SPEAKER_04: And when they show up, we'll let you know.
- 11:10SPEAKER_04: Yeah, the Hemsworths are on the way.
- 11:12SPEAKER_04: Uh, we've put in a phone call.
- 11:14SPEAKER_04: Um Yeah, and then basically they're gonna get their first wine as as they sit down, they're gonna be told to start drinking it because they're very eager to get started on their wines.
- 11:21SPEAKER_04: And then after that we have four more wines, the show will kick off, um, and there's a lot of interactivity, a lot of improv, and then we have a wine expert who's gonna take us talking through the wines as well.
- 11:31SPEAKER_05: I think one of the nicest parts of the show is that you are greeted by the performance on the way.
- 11:35SPEAKER_05: And I mean, what other show really does that in a sort of very informal way?
- 11:38SPEAKER_05: I think that sort of underscores the vibe of the show.
- 11:40SPEAKER_05: We're trying to sort of push back against this really like up snobbish sort of attitude that you have in the wine industry sometimes.
- 11:47SPEAKER_05: I think meeting people where they're at, literally at the door and sitting them down and and saying good day and having a good time from the get-go is all part of the experience.
- 11:55SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and you know, that's that's something that separates us.
- 11:57SPEAKER_04: You know, we're not afraid to speak to the general public.
- 12:00SPEAKER_04: You know, we're happy to come down to their level.
- 12:02SPEAKER_04: That's something we're happy to do.
- 12:03SPEAKER_05: And some people accuse that of being a cost-cutting measure.
- 12:06SPEAKER_05: They say, Boys, you just want to do it yourself so you don't have to hire more stuff.
- 12:09SPEAKER_05: And that is somewhat true, but it's also nice to chat.
- 12:12SPEAKER_04: But it actually ends up being more expensive because we have a lot of Pure L that we have to go through after we talk to them all.
- 12:18Sean McAllister: So, are you sipping wine just like everybody else's?
- 12:20SPEAKER_04: Well, we don't know it's rude to make people drink alone.
- 12:23SPEAKER_04: So we decided it would be the most courteous thing to do is to enjoy the wines with the patrons as well.
- 12:28SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I believe it's some sort of underscored thing on our O2 visas that we actually have to drink all the wines, otherwise, the Department of Immigration is gonna come in and take us home.
- 12:37SPEAKER_05: They'll say we're not working.
- 12:39SPEAKER_05: So drink more, boys.
- 12:41SPEAKER_05: Come on.
- 12:41Dayna Roselli: Great guys.
- 12:42Dayna Roselli: The show goes through November, and they're hoping to extend.
- 12:46Dayna Roselli: So they might extend at some point.
- 12:48Dayna Roselli: Um, so go out and support them.
- 12:50Dayna Roselli: It's a great time, and like we said, five glasses of wine,$69.99.
- 12:54Dayna Roselli: You get to laugh and have a lot of fun.
- 12:57Dayna Roselli: The shows are at 5 p.m., Sean's favorite time.
- 12:59Sean McAllister: That's a great time.
- 13:00Dayna Roselli: Oh, and I do notice there are a few shows on like Friday and Saturdays.
- 13:04Dayna Roselli: Um, they have a 5 and a 7.30.
- 13:06Sean McAllister: Oh, good.
- 13:07Sean McAllister: So, regardless, whether you go to 5 or 7.30, that's a good way to start your night.
- 13:13Dayna Roselli: Mm-hmm.
- 13:13Dayna Roselli: Definitely.
- 13:14Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 13:14Dayna Roselli: It's great.
- 13:15Sean McAllister: Get the juices flowing, get ready to go to dinner.
- 13:18Dayna Roselli: All of it.
- 13:18Dayna Roselli: A club night.
- 13:19Dayna Roselli: You'll need to eat after that, after five glasses of wine.
- 13:22Sean McAllister: You will.
- 13:22Dayna Roselli: The plan on if you're going, take an Uber, a taxi, on a road.
- 13:27Sean McAllister: Definitely plan your transportation and grab a little bite to eat so that you're still walking on your way out.
- 13:34Dayna Roselli: We also went over to MGM Grand on uh when was that?
- 13:38Dayna Roselli: Friday night to see the Jabberwockies new show.
- 13:42Dayna Roselli: Now, they've been in town for 15 years, but they have a lot of shows that they open, then they close for a little bit, they reimagine it and open it under a new name, like a new theme.
- 13:52Dayna Roselli: And Frequency is this latest edition.
- 13:55Sean McAllister: Yeah, and you know what?
- 13:56Sean McAllister: I didn't even I knew this, but I it didn't like compute until after we went and saw the show.
- 14:03Sean McAllister: The Jabbawockies actually like shot to fame on season one of America's Best Dance Crew.
- 14:11Sean McAllister: I think that was an MTV series where they named the best dance crew and it was Jabbawockies.
- 14:17Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I do remember.
- 14:17Dayna Roselli: And so and then other people wrote under comments in my on our TikTok or something, they loved them on So You Think You Can Dance.
- 14:25Dayna Roselli: So I don't know if they were on that too.
- 14:26Sean McAllister: Well, I think they were on America's Got Talent at some point.
- 14:30Sean McAllister: Um, and it wouldn't surprise me if they were on uh So You Think You Can Dance as well, as either mentors or um probably mentors, I would imagine, to hop in there and kind of show the street dance artists how it's done.
- 14:47Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 14:47Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 14:48Dayna Roselli: And you never know.
- 14:48Dayna Roselli: Sometimes people just write things like So You Think You Can and it might have been America's best dance crew.
- 14:52Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 14:53Dayna Roselli: You know what I mean?
- 14:53Dayna Roselli: Like very true.
- 14:54Dayna Roselli: So I don't know, but you're right.
- 14:56Dayna Roselli: They are they do appear on a lot of those shows.
- 14:57Dayna Roselli: And if they haven't actually been maybe like a contender, they have those special shows a lot of times where they bring on the alumni who have done amazing things.
- 15:07Dayna Roselli: And I'm sure they've performed, they do a lot of stuff with F1.
- 15:10Dayna Roselli: They said they'll be back.
- 15:11Dayna Roselli: It's a surprise.
- 15:11Dayna Roselli: We don't know exactly where they kind of pop up somewhere, but they do, just like the blue man group, they kind of make a lot of appearances.
- 15:17Sean McAllister: They do, and rightfully so, because Jabbawockies are fantastic.
- 15:22Sean McAllister: As Dana you mentioned, 15 years performing here in Las Vegas.
- 15:27Sean McAllister: And on the red carpet before the show, uh, we talked with uh some of the creators who talked about the longevity of performing here.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: Music always evolves, right?
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: So at the same time from when we started our first show, 2010, News IC, we've had like five different this is our fifth edition of our new show.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: And every show there's always something that's different.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: We never try to do anything the same.
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: We never try to make sure the music is uh like keeping up with the times, but still there's so many uh other classics that we have in music, like the music that's funny.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: We just want to make sure that whatever we put up, everybody's gonna be coming up, it's probably free.
- 16:04SPEAKER_06: We're taking you on a uh a journey of different frequencies, you know, music with some different times and people with a little bit differently.
- 16:10SPEAKER_06: We're just taking you on a visible journey of different frequencies.
- 16:13SPEAKER_03: You know, I really do believe we're blessed, you know, we found the algorithm, we found the frequency, and we've been riding it ever since, and it continues to give opportunities so we can just do our best by putting our best foot forward and treating people the right way, and I think that's how you kind of navigate Las Vegas, I guess, and have longevity, you know.
- 16:33Dayna Roselli: Yeah, the founders and creators, they're just pumped about this new show.
- 16:36Dayna Roselli: We saw it, I loved it.
- 16:38Dayna Roselli: I thought it was great.
- 16:39Dayna Roselli: I love the use of the different kinds of music.
- 16:41Sean McAllister: I I was just gonna say there's so many different genres of music that they fit into this performance.
- 16:47Sean McAllister: And it like I was ready to get I had a bunch of stuff in front of me.
- 16:51Sean McAllister: I had a camera and like all of our equipment.
- 16:53Sean McAllister: So I couldn't, I didn't have the leg room to get up and dance, but I wanted to get up and dance.
- 16:58Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 16:58Dayna Roselli: We did.
- 16:58Dayna Roselli: We had a booth.
- 16:59Dayna Roselli: They we were toward the back with a I don't know if they were family and friends.
- 17:03Dayna Roselli: I don't know, that's where I was sat, but it and they were all up dancing, and you can't help it, you know.
- 17:09Dayna Roselli: Like, and I think what you're saying, the across the board genre, it like every song kind of appealed to everyone.
- 17:16Dayna Roselli: Yeah, you remember this part of your, you know, oh yeah, that was good.
- 17:19Dayna Roselli: That was the 90s, and that was the 2000s, and that was the 80s, and like the hair metal bands.
- 17:24Dayna Roselli: Yeah, they had everything going.
- 17:25Sean McAllister: They did.
- 17:26Dayna Roselli: Uh, we won't give away all the songs that they use, but it's great.
- 17:29Dayna Roselli: If you want to have a good time, and they are so talented.
- 17:32Sean McAllister: Incredibly.
- 17:33Sean McAllister: I mean, the way they move, I there is one part that I will give away where they use their bodies to create like a gondola that you would see at the uh Venetian.
- 17:47Sean McAllister: And it they kind of like float across the stage.
- 17:50Sean McAllister: And I was like, you the way that they without facial expressions, because they have masks on, the way that they express emotion and let you know exactly what you're supposed to know and feel about what's going on up there on stage, I think that's remarkable.
- 18:08Sean McAllister: Yeah, you have to be an incredible performer to do that.
- 18:11Dayna Roselli: It's true.
- 18:11Dayna Roselli: Because I mean, even when they're wearing the masks, it makes you concentrate more on their movement.
- 18:16Dayna Roselli: That's probably why they do it.
- 18:16Dayna Roselli: So it's not like a distraction or I don't know, and they're it makes them really uniformed.
- 18:21Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 18:21Dayna Roselli: I was telling you, I was like, ah, the blue man group, you know, jabber walkies.
- 18:24Dayna Roselli: I'm like, they don't have to talk.
- 18:26Dayna Roselli: Like, I could totally go for that for a while.
- 18:30Dayna Roselli: I mean, we've I've done a lot of events over the last month and a half, and I could use a mask.
- 18:36Sean McAllister: Maybe it's time to just put a lawn chair out in the yard and enjoy this nature in silence.
- 18:42Dayna Roselli: I need a little silence in my life.
- 18:44Dayna Roselli: People do often write to us and say, aren't you guys tired?
- 18:46Dayna Roselli: You're everywhere.
- 18:47Dayna Roselli: Well, the answer this today at this moment is yes.
- 18:50Dayna Roselli: I am tired.
- 18:51Dayna Roselli: I want a Jabberwockey's mask or paint me in blue, and I want to walk around and I'll blink twice.
- 18:56Sean McAllister: And by the way, you they did have Jabbawocki's masks in the gift shop.
- 19:01Sean McAllister: They did right outside the theater.
- 19:03Dayna Roselli: What do they call it?
- 19:03Dayna Roselli: The walk shop, I think they called it.
- 19:05Dayna Roselli: But yeah, they've got a great gift shop, um, like you mentioned, right before you go into the show.
- 19:09Dayna Roselli: There was a great theater.
- 19:10Dayna Roselli: I don't know the last time I'd been in that theater or don't remember what it was ever before, but it's it's a great spot right there on the casino floor.
- 19:18Dayna Roselli: You know, MGM Grand's big, and sometimes you, you know, like the friends experience and MGM Grand Garden Arena and stuff, you have to go down and through the district.
- 19:26Dayna Roselli: You don't have to for this one.
- 19:27Sean McAllister: No, it's right off the casino floor.
- 19:29Sean McAllister: It's basically um directly across the way from the box office at the David Copperfield Theater.
- 19:37Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 19:37Sean McAllister: So if you go to the ticket window, turn right around 180 degrees, walk to the other wall, and you're gonna be at the Jabbawockies theater.
- 19:47Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 19:48Dayna Roselli: And both these shows, like in poor taste and jabberwockies that we just discussed, I feel like they're just you're gonna leave feeling good and you're and happy, and it, you know, they're uplifting shows.
- 19:58Dayna Roselli: If you want to have fun, you know, this these two shows are good options.
- 20:03Dayna Roselli: I was just talking with some friends yesterday about Alanis.
- 20:06Dayna Roselli: They went to see her and they loved it.
- 20:08Dayna Roselli: They loved it.
- 20:09Dayna Roselli: You know, we there I don't want to say there's been mixed reviews, but we've had a couple comments saying, Oh, you know, she did a lot of talking.
- 20:15Dayna Roselli: I'm like, she did, but she did a lot of music too.
- 20:18Sean McAllister: And every hit that you every song that you would want to hear from Alanis, you hear.
- 20:24Dayna Roselli: You do.
- 20:25Dayna Roselli: And so my friends that went blind just went to the show, bought tickets on their own to go see.
- 20:30Dayna Roselli: They were very pleased with the way it was done.
- 20:32Dayna Roselli: They loved it as a fan of her music back when and they felt like they learned a lot.
- 20:36Dayna Roselli: And we were all discussing like her journey and like all the different things and that we learned from it.
- 20:41Dayna Roselli: So I mean, it is different and it's cool.
- 20:43Dayna Roselli: Um, does she have, let's see, this drops?
- 20:45Dayna Roselli: Yeah, she has more shows.
- 20:46Dayna Roselli: Uh, this drops on uh October 30th.
- 20:49Dayna Roselli: No, I think this weekend she's off, and then she's back November 1st and 2nd.
- 20:53Dayna Roselli: She had shows last weekend.
- 20:55Dayna Roselli: She was like 24th, 25th, then first, second.
- 20:58Sean McAllister: Yeah, because after Halloween is first second.
- 21:00Sean McAllister: So it's this weekend.
- 21:01Dayna Roselli: Oh, it's this weekend, right?
- 21:02Dayna Roselli: So the 31st is Friday.
- 21:04Dayna Roselli: Oh, yes.
- 21:04Dayna Roselli: Oh, sorry, yes.
- 21:05Dayna Roselli: Okay, got it.
- 21:06Dayna Roselli: So first, second.
- 21:07Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and then she's done.
- 21:09Dayna Roselli: We don't know.
- 21:10Sean McAllister: I don't know.
- 21:10Dayna Roselli: They're uh I don't know.
- 21:13Sean McAllister: Yeah, we don't know.
- 21:14Sean McAllister: For now, she's done.
- 21:14Sean McAllister: For now.
- 21:15Dayna Roselli: It could be backed by popular demand.
- 21:17Sean McAllister: Which also backed by popular demand, Kenny Chesney is doing more shows at uh Sphere.
- 21:23Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 21:24Sean McAllister: He was the first country artist to kick things off there, and he's gonna be back in 2026 doing doing more of his shows.
- 21:29Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and you saw that one.
- 21:30Dayna Roselli: You liked it.
- 21:31Sean McAllister: I thought it was a that was a fun show.
- 21:33Dayna Roselli: I mean, how is anything at the sphere not good?
- 21:35Dayna Roselli: It's just such a great experience.
- 21:37Sean McAllister: It is, and that one specifically just made it was like a beachy party vibe.
- 21:42Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 21:42Sean McAllister: Which is exactly Kenny's thing.
- 21:44Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 21:45Dayna Roselli: How fun.
- 21:46Dayna Roselli: And then Zach Brown's coming in, right?
- 21:47Sean McAllister: For NFR.
- 21:49Dayna Roselli: I have some friends flying in for that one.
- 21:51Dayna Roselli: So should be good.
- 21:52Dayna Roselli: I'm going to see New Kids on the Block.
- 21:55Dayna Roselli: November 7th.
- 21:59Dayna Roselli: I think.
- 21:59Dayna Roselli: Yep.
- 22:00Dayna Roselli: November 7th, I think I'm going to New Kids on the Block.
- 22:02Dayna Roselli: I've got a bunch of girlfriends coming in from the East Coast, and we are all going in uh to see um New Kids on the Block.
- 22:12Dayna Roselli: Oh, actually, a bunch of girlfriends and a guy friend.
- 22:15Dayna Roselli: Sorry, I can't leave Jeff out.
- 22:16Dayna Roselli: Jeff's coming too.
- 22:17Dayna Roselli: And we're excited about it.
- 22:18Dayna Roselli: I have not seen their new show at Park MGM in person yet.
- 22:21Dayna Roselli: So I've seen them many, many times.
- 22:23Dayna Roselli: But um I've been watching some interviews with Donnie Wahlberg recently because he just debuted his new show, Boston Blue.
- 22:31Dayna Roselli: And he was talking about the new kids' residency, saying, you know, that they go a little longer too.
- 22:35Dayna Roselli: That they told that we're told, oh, Vegas shows only go, you know, an hour and 10.
- 22:39Dayna Roselli: And he said, We're not doing that to our fans.
- 22:41Dayna Roselli: They're not flying out here or coming here to see us for an hour and 10 minutes.
- 22:45Dayna Roselli: We're doing a longer show.
- 22:46Dayna Roselli: So I don't know exactly how long, but I think it's it's longer than your typical, you know, hour and 10, hour and 15-minute show.
- 22:53Sean McAllister: Well, and based off of the performances I've seen them do before, once they get out on stage and start having fun, I feel like they kind of want to just keep going.
- 23:04Dayna Roselli: Yeah, they do.
- 23:05Sean McAllister: Because they're they really are legitimately having a good time up there.
- 23:08Dayna Roselli: They love it.
- 23:08Sean McAllister: And interacting with the crowd.
- 23:10Dayna Roselli: I can't wait to see it.
- 23:11Dayna Roselli: I'm really looking forward to it.
- 23:12Sean McAllister: I'm excited to hear all about it.
- 23:14Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 23:14Dayna Roselli: And my friends are going to Wizard of Oz too.
- 23:16Dayna Roselli: So we're doing a lot.
- 23:17Dayna Roselli: They're saying it Virgin.
- 23:18Dayna Roselli: I'm excited to hang out there.
- 23:20Dayna Roselli: So it's going to be a fun weekend in November.
- 23:23Dayna Roselli: Um, hey, let's talk about this new steakhouse, just for people who know the Ba brand.
- 23:28Dayna Roselli: Boa Steakhouse has just opened at the Grand Canal Shops over at the Venetian.
- 23:34Dayna Roselli: And, you know, they have locations in West Hollywood, Santa Monica, Manhattan Beach, Austin, and they had one in Las Vegas.
- 23:41Sean McAllister: At Planet Hollywood, I believe.
- 23:42Dayna Roselli: Planet Hollywood.
- 23:43Dayna Roselli: I was trying to think of where it was.
- 23:45Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 23:45Sean McAllister: I used to love going in there.
- 23:47Dayna Roselli: It was like a hot spot.
- 23:49Sean McAllister: It was.
- 23:49Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 23:50Dayna Roselli: Well, now they are over at the Grand Canal Shops and they are officially open.
- 23:54Dayna Roselli: We have not gone over to see it yet, but hopefully we will get over there soon.
- 23:58Dayna Roselli: But FYI, um, if you're looking for a new steakhouse, cool vibe, um, they are now open over there.
- 24:05Dayna Roselli: Um, it says that um they have seductive interiors, dry aged prime steaks, including a signature 40-day dry age New York strip and an A5 Japanese Waigu.
- 24:18Sean McAllister: All right.
- 24:19Dayna Roselli: So if steak's your thing.
- 24:20Dayna Roselli: And then apparently they have legendary sides like the tableside Caesar salad.
- 24:25Dayna Roselli: And everyone always loves a good tableside Caesar salad.
- 24:28Sean McAllister: They do.
- 24:28Sean McAllister: It's dinner and a show.
- 24:29Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 24:30Sean McAllister: When you get the tableside Caesar.
- 24:32Sean McAllister: But everything uh that I've ever had from Boa Steakhouse has been fantastic.
- 24:38Sean McAllister: So you're not gonna go wrong with their new location again.
- 24:41Sean McAllister: Boa Steakhouse now open inside the Grand Canal shops over at the Venetian.
- 24:47Sean McAllister: Welcome.
- 24:48Dayna Roselli: All right, let's do some tips now.
- 24:55Dayna Roselli: Sean, we need to get into these South Point deals, but I wanted to do a quick mention of another tip because they've sent us a little press release here about this event happening a few times.
- 25:04Dayna Roselli: So I feel like we need to get it out there, especially if you like your cocktail.
- 25:07Sean McAllister: Oh, I'm all all ears.
- 25:09Dayna Roselli: Okay, Tuesday, November 11th, Mexico City's acclaimed Rayo.
- 25:14Dayna Roselli: I hopefully I'm saying that right, but they are number five on the North America's 50 Best Bars of 2024 list.
- 25:21Dayna Roselli: So you know they're good.
- 25:22Dayna Roselli: They are hosting a 90-minute immersive pop-up at Nocturno Cocktail Bar in the Arts District of Las Vegas.
- 25:30Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 25:30Dayna Roselli: $80 includes two tasters, three cocktails, and two paired appetizers with seatings from 6 to 9 30 p.m.
- 25:40Dayna Roselli: So I feel like that's a good deal.
- 25:42Dayna Roselli: And if you're interested and you want to check out this pop-up with, you know, a really, you know, one of the world's best, this could be a cool thing to do.
- 25:50Sean McAllister: Well, good.
- 25:51Sean McAllister: And now that you know that it's 90 minutes, you can adjust your schedule accordingly and know that you are gonna be in and out.
- 25:57Dayna Roselli: Yeah, 90 minutes of uh, well, two tasters, three cocktails and appetizers, right?
- 26:03Sean McAllister: Yeah, I wonder how forcefully they're gonna have to uh enforce the the 90-minute rule.
- 26:09Sean McAllister: I mean, after three cocktails and two tasters, right?
- 26:12Sean McAllister: Uh I want to stick around a little bit.
- 26:14Dayna Roselli: Well, you can go over and do in poor taste the wine show.
- 26:18Sean McAllister: Oh, there we go.
- 26:20Sean McAllister: Okay, so that was a bonus tip, we'll call it.
- 26:24Sean McAllister: Now let's get into our regularly planned tip.
- 26:28Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 26:28Dayna Roselli: This is the day because this is a tip.
- 26:31Dayna Roselli: And this has several bonus tips in within the tip.
- 26:34Sean McAllister: This is like everything rolled into one.
- 26:37Sean McAllister: It is the deal of all deals.
- 26:39Dayna Roselli: I think so.
- 26:39Sean McAllister: And this is over at the South Point Hotel and Casino.
- 26:43Sean McAllister: This is on South Las Vegas Boulevard.
- 26:45Sean McAllister: Uh, a lot of locals go here.
- 26:48Sean McAllister: It's also a big time uh spot when NASCAR comes to town, when the rodeo comes to town.
- 26:56Sean McAllister: South Point is always hopping.
- 26:58Dayna Roselli: They have an equestrian center, a bowling alley, a movie theater, a showroom.
- 27:03Sean McAllister: They do.
- 27:04Sean McAllister: They have a actually a good spa too.
- 27:06Sean McAllister: Yeah, I've been to their spa many times.
- 27:08Dayna Roselli: So this is a spa and it's always busy when we go there.
- 27:11Dayna Roselli: And they bring it in because they have deals like this.
- 27:14Sean McAllister: Because they have deals uh just about everywhere.
- 27:17Sean McAllister: All casino bars and the bowling center.
- 27:20Sean McAllister: Let's just start out with the drink deals.
- 27:22Sean McAllister: How about that?
- 27:22Sean McAllister: Great.
- 27:23Sean McAllister: So all casino bars and the bowling center, uh, they have morning specials from 6 a.m.
- 27:28Sean McAllister: to noon.
- 27:30Sean McAllister: You can start the day with morning cocktails for just two dollars each, including a Tito's Bloody Mary and a Mimosa.
- 27:41Sean McAllister: Also, you can get a Bailey's Irish Cream and Coffee for two bucks.
- 27:45Dayna Roselli: That's amazing.
- 27:46Dayna Roselli: 6 a.m.
- 27:47Dayna Roselli: to noon.
- 27:47Dayna Roselli: That's incredible.
- 27:48Sean McAllister: $2 m Bloody Mary.
- 27:51Sean McAllister: My gosh.
- 27:52Sean McAllister: Great.
- 27:53Dayna Roselli: Then let's also point out this is 365 days a year.
- 27:56Dayna Roselli: We weren't we aren't talking about a temporary deal here.
- 27:59Sean McAllister: Yeah, no limited time offer here.
- 28:00Dayna Roselli: Seven days a week, and you don't need a player card player's card.
- 28:04Dayna Roselli: It's not required for any of these deals, which makes it even better.
- 28:07Dayna Roselli: Okay, so here's the other drink special.
- 28:09Dayna Roselli: All day drink specials, 24 hours every day.
- 28:12Dayna Roselli: Bud and Bud Light, three bucks, Pendleton whiskey, three bucks.

- 29:12Dayna Roselli: You ready for the big final tip?
- 29:14Sean McAllister: I feel like we need a drum roll.
- 29:15Dayna Roselli: I know, something.
- 29:17Dayna Roselli: At the race book and sports book, every day, the Vienna beef hot dog is a dollar fifty.
- 29:25Dayna Roselli: A dollar fifty.
- 29:27Dayna Roselli: You can't beat it.
- 29:28Sean McAllister: I'm almost speechless.
- 29:30Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 29:30Dayna Roselli: Seriously, that is a deal.
- 29:32Sean McAllister: That is a all of these are killer deals.
- 29:36Sean McAllister: So if for anyone saying that the value has left Las Vegas, you're clearly not going to South Pole.
- 29:43unknown: I know.
- 29:44Dayna Roselli: Man, what a list, right?
- 29:45Dayna Roselli: We were we put this in the TV show and we had to cut out a bunch because the list was so long.
- 29:49Dayna Roselli: So we thought, okay, the audio podcast listeners need to hear this.
- 29:53Sean McAllister: We're going through it all.
- 29:54Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 29:54Dayna Roselli: And again, these are our the specials are property-wide.
- 29:57Dayna Roselli: They include all casino bars, the bowling center, and then the featured restaurants that we specifically mentioned.

- 30:08Sean McAllister: And you know what?
- 30:09Sean McAllister: I will tell you another thing.

- 30:30Sean McAllister: Yeah, and the concessions in there are great.
- 30:32Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 30:34Sean McAllister: Reasonably priced, just like everything else is, but where you'd be spending hundreds, if not thousands, somewhere else to get just a place to watch and a food and beverage credit rolled in, like you can just go to South Point and be part of all the festivities.
- 30:51Dayna Roselli: That's incredible.
- 30:52Sean McAllister: It's great.
- 30:52Sean McAllister: I love what they're doing over there.
- 30:54Sean McAllister: Um, they've done this, they've had this mentality for a long time, and I'm glad they're sticking to it.
- 31:01Sean McAllister: And these are great deals.
- 31:03Sean McAllister: It's a reason to go.
- 31:05Dayna Roselli: I think it's a reason to end the podcast.
- 31:07Dayna Roselli: A dollar fifty Vienna Beef Hot Dog.
- 31:10Dayna Roselli: I don't think we can top that.
- 31:11Sean McAllister: And for anyone listening, if you find a better deal than the$1.50 hot dog, write in and let us know because we want to share that too.
- 31:20Dayna Roselli: Yeah, you can always text us.
- 31:21Dayna Roselli: We have a link in our show notes.
- 31:23Dayna Roselli: Show notes.
- 31:24Dayna Roselli: We have a link in our show notes.
- 31:27Dayna Roselli: There it is.
- 31:28Dayna Roselli: All right.
- 31:28Dayna Roselli: Listen, we'll be back next week with more tips.
- 31:31Dayna Roselli: Good Vegas gossip.
- 31:32Dayna Roselli: We're actually going to tell you about a new non smoking hotel that just opened.
- 31:36Dayna Roselli: So that's coming up next week on Vegas Revealed.
- 31:38Dayna Roselli: Have a good one.
- 31:39Sean McAllister: We'll talk to you then.
