- 0:07Speaker 2: They said, I gotta come off the bench.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Hour two of Off the Bench Live from the Raisin
- 0:12Speaker 3: Caine Studio.
- 0:31Speaker 4: All right, welcome back here our number two Off the
- 0:34Speaker 4: Bench on a Wednesday morning, Live from the Raisin Kines Studio.
- 0:38Speaker 4: Welcome in, everybody. If you just draft the kids off,
- 0:40Speaker 4: I know, carpooll probably just end it unless you're running
- 0:42Speaker 4: a little late today. Well, we just want to say
- 0:44Speaker 4: welcome in. Thank you for listening to.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Turn it up, trying to turn it up. Time to
- 0:47Speaker 2: say the curse word. Baby, let's go. Man, we really
- 0:53Speaker 2: stuck the landing on that hour number one, didn't we.
- 0:56Speaker 5: I'm gonna I'm gonna take the blame for that one.
- 0:58Speaker 4: I told you this morning when you came in along,
- 1:00Speaker 4: I'm like seeing extra squirrels today.
- 1:02Speaker 5: You got that felt it like when I walked in.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Yeah, you get like you were a real what's that?
- 1:07Speaker 2: What's that character that?
- 1:08Speaker 4: I think it's an Adam Sandler move where his eyes
- 1:10Speaker 4: just like a crazy I'm crazy as right now, I'm
- 1:14Speaker 4: seeing everything.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I told you I'm saying, extra squirrels today. Really
- 1:18Speaker 2: food off, what's it? See you?
- 1:23Speaker 4: So we'll be back maybe docs like, man, these guys
- 1:26Speaker 4: are idiots.
- 1:28Speaker 6: These guys, I'm the glue.
- 1:30Speaker 2: I'm looking in the mirror. Okay, glue perfect.
- 1:35Speaker 4: You're right, man, you are all right. Welcome in. Every
- 1:38Speaker 4: single Wednesday we were joining about doctor Stevie Thard. We
- 1:40Speaker 4: appreciate you coming in today. We are full throttle training
- 1:45Speaker 4: camp mode right now. Welcome in, full throttle ahead. We're good,
- 1:48Speaker 4: everything's good, We're great. We're great.
- 1:49Speaker 6: Yeah, it's been one week down.
- 1:53Speaker 4: When he came in, Chris Marler asked, you, are you
- 1:55Speaker 4: only allowed to stay for twelve minutes?
- 1:57Speaker 2: I practice like they.
- 1:58Speaker 7: Are fortunately or Onnate, I guess you know that it
- 2:00Speaker 7: would been nice to have left a little earlier.
- 2:02Speaker 6: But uh, on the other hand, yeah, we were there
- 2:04Speaker 6: the whole time.
- 2:04Speaker 2: So that's right.
- 2:05Speaker 4: So all right, let's just get into it a little
- 2:07Speaker 4: bit of you know, no specifics out of LSU, of course.
- 2:13Speaker 2: But they got the pads on for the first time yesterday.
- 2:16Speaker 4: Anything like to know, I'm assuming, like, what's when you
- 2:19Speaker 4: start getting the pads on? I'm assuming you start getting
- 2:23Speaker 4: a few more Doctor visits. Uh, Like, what's kind of
- 2:25Speaker 4: the standard thing that you are looking for at training
- 2:27Speaker 4: camp besides just the obvious? Okay, this guy twisted and ankle,
- 2:30Speaker 4: This guy, you know, hurt a shoulder. Are there any
- 2:33Speaker 4: signs that you're looking at during training camp, especially once
- 2:36Speaker 4: the pads start start popping.
- 2:39Speaker 7: You know, I don't know there's anything specific. You know,
- 2:41Speaker 7: to your point, yes, you're gonna see a little bit
- 2:42Speaker 7: more uptaken certain things. You know, any contact related injury
- 2:46Speaker 7: is now added into the equation, so you know, there's
- 2:48Speaker 7: plenty of non contact things we see unfortunately, and early
- 2:51Speaker 7: in camp. You know, the big early camp things the
- 2:52Speaker 7: soft tissue, the hamstrings, which I know there's been some
- 2:55Speaker 7: discussion on that already. Uh, you eat a lot of that,
- 2:57Speaker 7: but now you start throwing in you know, a little
- 2:59Speaker 7: more risk for things like concussions and head injuries, and.
- 3:01Speaker 6: You know you're gonna get just more hard impact injuries.
- 3:04Speaker 7: You know, some of those aren't always serious, but you
- 3:06Speaker 7: know they'll they'll bang you up pretty good, so you
- 3:07Speaker 7: can get some some contusions and all that fun stuff.
- 3:10Speaker 4: Also, like I remember the linemen used to beg to
- 3:14Speaker 4: put pads on because even if it's just helmets, Like
- 3:18Speaker 4: at the in the trenches, they're pretty much going one
- 3:20Speaker 4: hundred percent. Do you kind of get relieved a little
- 3:22Speaker 4: bit like something like I know you for like linebackers
- 3:24Speaker 4: DB's like tackling drills. Yeah, there's higher risk, but there's
- 3:28Speaker 4: also probably less of a risk for some of those
- 3:30Speaker 4: linemen that are having a hit.
- 3:32Speaker 6: Yeah. I think you're right there.
- 3:33Speaker 7: I've watched them do some of the you know, other
- 3:34Speaker 7: individual drills and stuff, and they're they're you know, in
- 3:36Speaker 7: just a helmet. I would I would not want to
- 3:39Speaker 7: be on the other end of any of you know,
- 3:41Speaker 7: because I'm like, good god, they're still you know, putting
- 3:43Speaker 7: hands on each other, and you know, it's just just
- 3:44Speaker 7: because you're not going to the ground. So so I
- 3:46Speaker 7: think there is some some benefit for sure to have
- 3:48Speaker 7: the pads on, especially some of these drills, and especially
- 3:50Speaker 7: especially down the trenches.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Like you said, well, look, I know that y'all had
- 3:53Speaker 4: spring practice and of course, uh summer practice and everything
- 3:58Speaker 4: like that, and all the drills that you can do,
- 4:00Speaker 4: but nothing can match the intensity of what training camp is.
- 4:04Speaker 4: And of course we as fans and as the media
- 4:07Speaker 4: have very limited view of what's going on, so we
- 4:11Speaker 4: got a new coach, we got a ton of new players.
- 4:14Speaker 4: We want information, right and I'm not gonna ask you
- 4:16Speaker 4: like specifically from a football standpoint x as and nose,
- 4:19Speaker 4: but just with the new staff and then being in
- 4:22Speaker 4: training camp everything, like how's the feel of practice.
- 4:25Speaker 7: It's definitely a different vibe. The energy is tremendously elevated
- 4:30Speaker 7: from what it was. You know out there there there's
- 4:32Speaker 7: not a lot of downtime.
- 4:34Speaker 6: You know.
- 4:34Speaker 7: One thing that that's I think big with coach Kiffin
- 4:36Speaker 7: is is I mean they are constant on the movie
- 4:37Speaker 7: you watch his offense, it's yeah, practice is basically just
- 4:41Speaker 7: a version of that. They are constantly go, go go.
- 4:43Speaker 7: You'll have different drills going at the same time. They'll
- 4:44Speaker 7: be using all the fields. You know, watching the offense
- 4:47Speaker 7: they are they are not slowing down. And if they're
- 4:49Speaker 7: not slowing down, then either is the defense. And so
- 4:51Speaker 7: there's definitely been some some changes there, just a new energy.
- 4:55Speaker 7: You know, I think I think it had gotten kind
- 4:57Speaker 7: of stale and so having some new energy just to
- 4:59Speaker 7: kind of put a little life blood in the into
- 5:01Speaker 7: the program. But but it's definitely it's definitely been a
- 5:04Speaker 7: big uptake.
- 5:05Speaker 8: It feels like there'd be. It's kind of shocking because
- 5:07Speaker 8: he's talked about this organically. That's a couple of press
- 5:09Speaker 8: conferences about like how the way that they the idea
- 5:13Speaker 8: they adopted for practice and having this many volumes of
- 5:16Speaker 8: reps like like it's it's such a high volume of reps,
- 5:19Speaker 8: but like quality of reps. But to have that much
- 5:21Speaker 8: because it's noticeably different than last year in just terms
- 5:23Speaker 8: of like like even the quarterbacks throwing, it's like or
- 5:25Speaker 8: the receivers running, like you know, there's a combination of
- 5:28Speaker 8: routes on every single drill for each individual person. But
- 5:31Speaker 8: to have that you know, added volume and also still
- 5:34Speaker 8: be healthy is a great sign for Week one.
- 5:36Speaker 7: Yeah, it's it's been a lot and it's interesting, especially
- 5:39Speaker 7: guys that were not part of his team, and we
- 5:41Speaker 7: had some guys that came with them, but you know,
- 5:42Speaker 7: so all the guys that were here, and especially guys
- 5:45Speaker 7: that maybe came from somewhere else, like we have some
- 5:47Speaker 7: guys that came from up north mid you know, places
- 5:49Speaker 7: not quite as hot. Like the combination of being in Louisiana,
- 5:51Speaker 7: which is always a wake up call, and then now
- 5:54Speaker 7: this up tempo practice.
- 5:55Speaker 6: Those first couple of practices. We had some guys really struggling.
- 5:57Speaker 7: You know, there's just lots of lots of cramps, lots
- 5:59Speaker 7: of dehydration, lots of guys kind of sucking sucking win.
- 6:02Speaker 4: But and it's it's acclimatizing to your environment, right and
- 6:07Speaker 4: not to just the environment. Like you said, this is
- 6:09Speaker 4: the advantage to Lane Kiffin's system is we're gonna be
- 6:13Speaker 4: in better shape than you because we're gonna go.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Faster than you. We're gonna tire. We saw LSU player
- 6:17Speaker 2: miss last last year. We saw you know, Wit thrown up.
- 6:19Speaker 4: I know W throws up, that's his thing, but like
- 6:21Speaker 4: there's also an exhaustion like to that as well. What
- 6:25Speaker 4: do you watch for as so? I know you have
- 6:27Speaker 4: a fantastic training staff at LSU. I know there's dietitians
- 6:30Speaker 4: out there running getting sodium, getting all the things, and
- 6:34Speaker 4: but like what do you from a doctor's perspective, I
- 6:36Speaker 4: know there.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Are real dangers in this heat.
- 6:38Speaker 4: What different like you have to be watching for signs
- 6:41Speaker 4: of dizzyness, signs for dhyd Like what signs for dehydration
- 6:45Speaker 4: are you watching? And this is also going to help
- 6:47Speaker 4: people as their high school kids and the high school
- 6:49Speaker 4: coaches like going out in their training camps are starting
- 6:52Speaker 4: as well, like what's something to watch for from a
- 6:54Speaker 4: physical standpoint that you know, it's sometimes it's hard for
- 6:57Speaker 4: a player to emit things.
- 6:59Speaker 2: So what should people be watching out for when it's dehydration?
- 7:01Speaker 7: Yeah, so, I mean a big concern this time of year, especially,
- 7:05Speaker 7: you know, your your point is heat, heat related ill
- 7:06Speaker 7: on this and specifically heat stroke is the one that
- 7:08Speaker 7: you know, I obviously worry the most about.
- 7:10Speaker 6: Heat strokes a real thing, you know.
- 7:11Speaker 7: Unfortunately, there there are deaths every year, uh, in athletics
- 7:14Speaker 7: and just you know, in the random population. So so
- 7:17Speaker 7: we're obviously looking for signs of that, you know, and
- 7:19Speaker 7: these are gonna be guys who are really dragging behind,
- 7:21Speaker 7: guys who are maybe kind of slouching, and you know,
- 7:23Speaker 7: one of the big things I look for is that
- 7:25Speaker 7: they're just acting different, acting odd, acting off. Because when
- 7:27Speaker 7: you get to that stage, literally your mental status changes.
- 7:29Speaker 7: You either become really lethargic. Sometimes guys act literally just
- 7:33Speaker 7: crazy that they get this kind of manic phase because
- 7:35Speaker 7: they're just you know.
- 7:36Speaker 6: You're you're you're just out of it, panicking and.
- 7:38Speaker 7: Yeah, so so so we're looking for any just odd behavior,
- 7:41Speaker 7: somebody that doesn't seem themselves. And that's again where the
- 7:42Speaker 7: training staff comes and so so key you know, they
- 7:44Speaker 7: kind of know like, hey, this guy, that's just how
- 7:46Speaker 7: he is, but hey, this is different for him. So
- 7:48Speaker 7: so listening to them, watching them, and really I'm just
- 7:51Speaker 7: kind of watching around, you know, not just doing the drills,
- 7:53Speaker 7: but a lot of times on the sideline, I'm looking
- 7:54Speaker 7: for guys that are you know, really hunched over, really
- 7:56Speaker 7: breathing hard, that just kind of having a hard time standing,
- 7:58Speaker 7: wobbling on their feet, you know, anything like that. If
- 8:01Speaker 7: I see that, I usually kind of go check that
- 8:03Speaker 7: scenario out. But but you know, that's our big risk,
- 8:06Speaker 7: I guess at this time of yours heat. But there's
- 8:08Speaker 7: all kinds of things you got to kind of look for,
- 8:10Speaker 7: you know, just just little little warning signs. Guys grabbing
- 8:12Speaker 7: their head. They hit your head and do it all
- 8:14Speaker 7: the time, though, so you got to kind of find
- 8:16Speaker 7: that that that something I guess that is just different.
- 8:19Speaker 4: And it is something for people to look at, parents
- 8:21Speaker 4: to look at, coaches, look at as we have youth
- 8:23Speaker 4: sports and high school sports and anything. It's in this
- 8:26Speaker 4: heat where you're losing so much sweat, right, it's not
- 8:29Speaker 4: just about like staying hydrated with drinking and this is
- 8:32Speaker 4: I promise you I'm not I think says this is
- 8:35Speaker 4: not like an average This is just speaking to people
- 8:37Speaker 4: for things to watch and things that I've come across
- 8:39Speaker 4: from making mistakes. Is like high school people just.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Drinking tons of water, water, water, and you're losing buckets
- 8:46Speaker 2: of sodium. So like hypinetremia is can be as bad
- 8:50Speaker 2: or worse than lack of water at some point, absolute
- 8:53Speaker 2: lack of sodium.
- 8:54Speaker 6: Absolutely.
- 8:55Speaker 7: Notice, it's it's you know, I came in the other
- 8:56Speaker 7: day and as one of our dieticians was there talking
- 8:59Speaker 7: to the guy that they were in between one of
- 9:01Speaker 7: their sessions, and she was really hammering that point home,
- 9:03Speaker 7: and I was like, I'm glad to hear people saying
- 9:05Speaker 7: she did a really good job with presentation, just kind
- 9:07Speaker 7: of getting the guys to listen, because yeah, you need
- 9:08Speaker 7: to get the electrolytes. You know, if if you look
- 9:10Speaker 7: at the the composition of your sweat is not just water.
- 9:14Speaker 7: You know, when you sweat, there's a lot of sodium
- 9:16Speaker 7: and a lot of salt and some other electrolytes are
- 9:17Speaker 7: lost that way. So if all you're doing is replacing
- 9:20Speaker 7: the water, you're not You're not doing yourself a service. Now,
- 9:23Speaker 7: water is key, but you got to supplement that with
- 9:25Speaker 7: something else, like like them my high.
- 9:27Speaker 4: Absolutely yeah, the product that was serious topics. I didn't
- 9:30Speaker 4: want people to think it wouldn't like they said. I
- 9:32Speaker 4: didn't think it was disingenuous, but like I do think
- 9:36Speaker 4: like I got, I got high school parents coming to
- 9:37Speaker 4: me all the time, like my son has you know,
- 9:39Speaker 4: it's getting ivs, having to go get ivs after the
- 9:41Speaker 4: third quarter, and I'm like, well, what is he doing.
- 9:43Speaker 4: He's drinking a gallon of water at school and then
- 9:45Speaker 4: I'm making him drink another, like one or two leaders
- 9:47Speaker 4: of water before the game. I'm like, like, you are
- 9:49Speaker 4: diluting and you're fleshing all the sodium and everything. So
- 9:52Speaker 4: and it's so hot out Like I wouldn't watch my
- 9:54Speaker 4: son at Pricey yesterday.
- 9:55Speaker 2: It is so hot out there, like he just can't.
- 9:58Speaker 7: And I'm looking at the next week. I don't know
- 9:59Speaker 7: if 'all to the forecast, it's not getting better. God,
- 10:02Speaker 7: it's only going up.
- 10:03Speaker 6: That's shocking.
- 10:05Speaker 8: I don't know if you're allowed to talk about this,
- 10:06Speaker 8: but I'm gonna ask it anyway. So Aid and Gabriel
- 10:11Speaker 8: Rulliford obviously after the year give It even brought that
- 10:13Speaker 8: up on Monday that Reliford is probably not a guy
- 10:15Speaker 8: that's gonna be back. But they were both on bikes
- 10:18Speaker 8: and full pad yesterday, like like, how are those guys
- 10:20Speaker 8: feeling or is it like is that something that that
- 10:22Speaker 8: is gonna be more customing? I remember last year when
- 10:26Speaker 8: people get they were injured, nobody was in full pads
- 10:28Speaker 8: and helmets.
- 10:29Speaker 6: But I kind of dug it.
- 10:30Speaker 8: I thought it was kind of like like, you know,
- 10:32Speaker 8: like a little more unity with the team.
- 10:33Speaker 6: What was going on there?
- 10:35Speaker 7: Yeah, I think again your point. I think they're trying
- 10:37Speaker 7: to make them still part of the team. You know,
- 10:38Speaker 7: these guys and they are, you know, but it's it's
- 10:40Speaker 7: hard when you're injured.
- 10:41Speaker 5: No.
- 10:41Speaker 7: One of the things with any injury that we always
- 10:43Speaker 7: have to take into consideration is your mental health. You know,
- 10:46Speaker 7: you have to you have to kind of keep that
- 10:48Speaker 7: in mind as well. And so you know, we have
- 10:49Speaker 7: our great staff at LSU grace A sports psychologists, and
- 10:53Speaker 7: you know, a lot of times we have to get
- 10:54Speaker 7: them involved and guy has an injury, and even more
- 10:55Speaker 7: so a guy's maybe had a couple of injuries, you know,
- 10:57Speaker 7: because you have one, then you get back and it's
- 10:58Speaker 7: the most frustrating thing when happens again. So so I
- 11:01Speaker 7: think that's something that's just a difference in the policy.
- 11:03Speaker 7: You know, I'm not saying right or wrong, but I
- 11:05Speaker 7: tend to like that better. I like having the the
- 11:08Speaker 7: guys feel a part of it, and you want them
- 11:10Speaker 7: out there.
- 11:10Speaker 6: You want them to be part of the team.
- 11:11Speaker 7: It's it's it's more for their benefit probably th anybody
- 11:14Speaker 7: else's because no, look right now, obviously we want them back,
- 11:17Speaker 7: so we want to be healthy and ready when they're
- 11:19Speaker 7: help when when they're there. But I think letting them
- 11:21Speaker 7: be out there, letting them just feel part of that
- 11:23Speaker 7: part of the group, is going to be more beneficial
- 11:24Speaker 7: to them.
- 11:25Speaker 8: If the isolation of that part sucks' worst part, yeah.
- 11:28Speaker 2: It does.
- 11:29Speaker 4: It there if you've ever been on a team, like
- 11:32Speaker 4: being injured on a team is just a terrible feeling
- 11:34Speaker 4: because everyone's a competitor and they want to be out
- 11:36Speaker 4: there and they want to be a part of the team.
- 11:37Speaker 2: That's what the team sports are for.
- 11:39Speaker 4: Individual sports are great and there's a self accomplished when
- 11:42Speaker 4: that comes to that, and there's self accomplishment and team sports,
- 11:45Speaker 4: but the team accomplishment is just far superior to anything
- 11:50Speaker 4: that I've ever that I've ever been a part of.
- 11:52Speaker 4: So I agree, Yeah, not being able to be apart
- 11:55Speaker 4: and contribute and help your brothers out.
- 11:57Speaker 7: Well, like I said, outside of catastrophic news like somebody's
- 11:59Speaker 7: got to life, you know, condition or something, the worst
- 12:02Speaker 7: things I ever to do is tell, especially especially on
- 12:04Speaker 7: these kids, like hey, you know you're done for the year.
- 12:06Speaker 7: You know, it's just it's that that is that is
- 12:08Speaker 7: never a fun conversation. It's one that I always dread.
- 12:11Speaker 7: You know, kid tears his a C L and I
- 12:12Speaker 7: gotta go tell him, and you know, and then what
- 12:14Speaker 7: it's his senior year, this is his last chance the
- 12:16Speaker 7: ball boys, and think there's so many of the scenarios
- 12:17Speaker 7: that just every time it's it's a heartbreaking.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:20Speaker 4: All right, let's turn our turn our eyes to the
- 12:22Speaker 4: Saints right now, and we want to hear your thoughts
- 12:26Speaker 4: on which nickname is better cam String Jordan, cam String Jordan,
- 12:33Speaker 4: or Hammering Jordan.
- 12:35Speaker 6: I'm going cam String cam String, Yeah.
- 12:39Speaker 8: Cam.
- 12:40Speaker 4: String Jordan's Hammy's stink when they they are pesky. They
- 12:48Speaker 4: are unpredictable at best. When you see a hamstring, come,
- 12:53Speaker 4: are we grading like hamstrings? Like on a like a
- 12:55Speaker 4: grade one, grade two, grade three type situation? Like how
- 12:59Speaker 4: like when you what's what's your starting point when somebody says,
- 13:02Speaker 4: I pulled the hamstringer, I got a tight hamstringer, I
- 13:04Speaker 4: got pain.
- 13:05Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 13:05Speaker 7: So it is a grading system and correct one through three,
- 13:08Speaker 7: with three being the most severe. You know, a three
- 13:10Speaker 7: is usually a full tendon, full muscle tear. Those are
- 13:13Speaker 7: the ones that will sometimes require surgery. Depends on how
- 13:16Speaker 7: many of the tendons are torn, how severe they are torn.
- 13:19Speaker 7: But you know, so a three might be surgery for
- 13:21Speaker 7: especially for an athlete. Two's are probably the ones that
- 13:24Speaker 7: are sort of a wider range of what is it two?
- 13:27Speaker 7: Because there's a probably most of them that I see
- 13:29Speaker 7: are ones and twos. I mean, you be fortunate to
- 13:30Speaker 7: see a lot of threes. And then one is the
- 13:32Speaker 7: mild kind of mild strain. Two you do have some
- 13:35Speaker 7: partial tearing. You may get a little bit of bruising.
- 13:37Speaker 7: More commonly you see that more than the muscle, not
- 13:38Speaker 7: as much in the tendon. Uh And and again, so it's
- 13:41Speaker 7: all about severity all about how much of the muscle
- 13:44Speaker 7: is torn, how much the tendon is torn, because that's
- 13:45Speaker 7: a strain is a tear. A tear is a strain.
- 13:47Speaker 7: That's often a you know, I get asked at all the time,
- 13:49Speaker 7: was it torn or is it strained? Well, in medical
- 13:51Speaker 7: speak to the same thing. It's it's it's how severe
- 13:54Speaker 7: of a tear slash strain is it? And you know,
- 13:57Speaker 7: I don't know much about his injuries specifically, I haven't
- 13:59Speaker 7: heard if it's a one or two. I'm assuming probably
- 14:01Speaker 7: one of those or else they know a lot more,
- 14:04Speaker 7: you know, alarm bells going into.
- 14:05Speaker 2: It's a grade three like a season ender.
- 14:07Speaker 6: You definitely can be you definitely can't be.
- 14:09Speaker 7: Yeah, more often than not, I would say it's going
- 14:11Speaker 7: to be a season end, or especially if it's on
- 14:13Speaker 7: the tenont attachment side there where it completely pulls off
- 14:16Speaker 7: and it turns in one of the search But even
- 14:17Speaker 7: the best case scenario, you're probably you know, a few months.
- 14:19Speaker 4: So why do some you see the hamstring issues and
- 14:23Speaker 4: like someone's back of their leg turns purple like it starts.
- 14:27Speaker 4: Why do some hamstring pools or muscle puls bruise and
- 14:30Speaker 4: some don't.
- 14:31Speaker 6: Well, and it goes back to that severity.
- 14:32Speaker 7: So because a grade one, you're probably not tearing enough
- 14:35Speaker 7: to really stimulate the bleeding, so or if you do,
- 14:38Speaker 7: it's so minimal that you're you're not gonna see it,
- 14:40Speaker 7: or it's just going to be a fraction that you're
- 14:41Speaker 7: gonna notice. Grade twos you're usually gonna see some bruising,
- 14:44Speaker 7: or at least a lot of them you will, because
- 14:46Speaker 7: then you have a little bit bigger tear and look,
- 14:48Speaker 7: bruising is just bleeding under the skin, you know. And
- 14:50Speaker 7: one of the things that I see a lot is
- 14:51Speaker 7: people kind of freak out because the bruising doesn't usually
- 14:53Speaker 7: show up for a couple of days.
- 14:54Speaker 8: You know.
- 14:54Speaker 6: They're like, I was feeling better, now I have this bruise, Like, well,
- 14:56Speaker 6: do you hurt more? And like, no, I feel better.
- 14:58Speaker 7: Okay, that's good, don't worry about that, Or or the
- 15:00Speaker 7: blood will sort of track down the lower leg and
- 15:02Speaker 7: they think they have a blood clot or something like
- 15:03Speaker 7: that because gravity carries it down your legs. So the
- 15:06Speaker 7: hamstring injury will sometimes cause bruising in the upper calf,
- 15:08Speaker 7: and that's not uncommon. So so it really depends on the
- 15:12Speaker 7: severity of the tear. So I'd say I probably see
- 15:14Speaker 7: bruising probably half our grade two is give or take
- 15:16Speaker 7: a little bit.
- 15:18Speaker 4: Well, had a theory atin the last hour about the
- 15:21Speaker 4: position you play and the like what effect the hamstring
- 15:24Speaker 4: pool has on that, and maybe as a doctor, do
- 15:26Speaker 4: you look at it any different Let's just say it's
- 15:28Speaker 4: a wide receiver hamstring pool as opposed to a defensive end.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Do you You don't.
- 15:32Speaker 4: Treat it any differently, but do you make special like
- 15:37Speaker 4: different exceptions that more management? Yeah, because they're not running
- 15:39Speaker 4: fifty yards full sprint, right, but they are having to
- 15:42Speaker 4: push off and do things full speed, but it's in
- 15:44Speaker 4: a shorter distance.
- 15:45Speaker 7: Yeah, I think I think you definitely worry more about
- 15:47Speaker 7: the positions like you know, defensive back wide receiver where
- 15:50Speaker 7: they're doing a more extended, long, full speed sprints. And
- 15:53Speaker 7: we also see them more commonly in that population for
- 15:56Speaker 7: the same reasons. You know, typically fast guys that are
- 15:58Speaker 7: doing a lot of this you know, tream running and
- 16:01Speaker 7: acceleration deceleration. Now again it's to your point, Yeah, you
- 16:04Speaker 7: still treat them the same, and you still worry about it,
- 16:06Speaker 7: But I would be less.
- 16:07Speaker 6: Worried, say with with cam Jordan.
- 16:09Speaker 7: If if it's as a defensive end, then if it
- 16:12Speaker 7: was a wide.
- 16:12Speaker 8: Out or something like that, I gotta I got one.
- 16:15Speaker 8: It's not Saints related. Batchel parties next week in New Orleans.
- 16:20Speaker 8: All right, I'm not trying. I've been I've been get
- 16:22Speaker 8: a lot of calf cramps after nights of drinking.
- 16:25Speaker 6: What's going on there? Am I dying for one too?
- 16:28Speaker 6: What do I need to do to prevent this? Uh
- 16:30Speaker 6: and not be sluggish the next day before we go out?
- 16:33Speaker 6: So it's fair question. I think that's that's something we
- 16:35Speaker 6: probably all experienced with aging. You know, you know I hangovers?
- 16:40Speaker 6: Oh yeah, you know kind of thing is weird. I
- 16:42Speaker 6: have a diligent night and.
- 16:44Speaker 7: It's gonna take me at least a week to to
- 16:46Speaker 7: feel a semi normal. So well, what I think, you know, Look,
- 16:50Speaker 7: a good point is before you leave grab a yeah,
- 16:56Speaker 7: doing some electrolytes, either before, during, or after or all
- 17:00Speaker 7: the above. So we we do a fishing trip every
- 17:04Speaker 7: year where we take our fellows down the end of
- 17:06Speaker 7: their year and do a trip. And I did uh
- 17:09Speaker 7: confiscate a few down there, okay, because you know, we
- 17:13Speaker 7: we get prepared the night before for the endeavors of
- 17:16Speaker 7: the following day, and so that was part of the
- 17:19Speaker 7: perfect job there.
- 17:20Speaker 6: If you have a bear fight, then there's only so much. Yeah,
- 17:22Speaker 6: we had no bear fights.
- 17:24Speaker 2: It's only so much.
- 17:25Speaker 6: Again, thank you if you have a bear fight, because
- 17:27Speaker 6: I did hear y'all talking about it that you're gonna
- 17:28Speaker 6: lose that one. Is that?
- 17:29Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 17:30Speaker 6: Calves though, calves are I just need to stretch a
- 17:32Speaker 6: little bit.
- 17:33Speaker 7: Yeah, straight, But elect lights, uh, you know, particularly potassium, magnesium, sodium,
- 17:38Speaker 7: those are going to be some of the bigger ones.
- 17:40Speaker 7: But you know, I think I think doing that and
- 17:41Speaker 7: still still hydrating as well as obviously important not selection that.
- 17:45Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, all right, this is the last question
- 17:48Speaker 4: because we are we were, we've gone along with you.
- 17:51Speaker 4: Thank you for your time. No, that's a great question,
- 17:53Speaker 4: very good. December fourteenth, twenty twenty five. Patrick Mahomes tears
- 17:57Speaker 4: his a cl two and forty one days ago, third
- 18:00Speaker 4: four weeks, three days. That's seven months, twenty nine days.
- 18:03Speaker 4: Jacob Pester came on the show. I think was it
- 18:05Speaker 4: yesterday or Monday? So when he was at Chief's practice.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Full go? Is this about as fast as you've ever
- 18:13Speaker 2: seen a full go?
- 18:15Speaker 6: Yeah? I would say, that's about on the on the
- 18:18Speaker 6: early side of it.
- 18:18Speaker 7: You know, it's interesting because I don't know the right
- 18:21Speaker 7: answer to how should we handle all these Because I
- 18:24Speaker 7: will say we've made advances. We we have things that
- 18:27Speaker 7: can help you heal better, some that we know work,
- 18:29Speaker 7: some that are more you know, hypothetical theoretical that probably
- 18:32Speaker 7: do something. You know, if you look at what guys
- 18:34Speaker 7: are doing, especially guys like a Patrick Mahomes NFL, I'm
- 18:36Speaker 7: sure he's doing all the different supplementation that are that
- 18:39Speaker 7: are legal and allowed. I'm sure he's doing things like
- 18:41Speaker 7: hyperbaric treatments. Yeah, you know, he's probably won't be surprised
- 18:43Speaker 7: if he's had some kind of biological injections PRPs to themselves,
- 18:46Speaker 7: you know.
- 18:47Speaker 6: A two M things like that.
- 18:48Speaker 7: I don't know these things, but I'm assuming he's probably
- 18:50Speaker 7: done at least a lot more of that than your
- 18:52Speaker 7: average torn acl would do. What where does that change
- 18:57Speaker 7: the needle, because you still have to let those things
- 18:58Speaker 7: heal no matter what you can't and there's no magic cure.
- 19:01Speaker 7: You have got to let the the new a cl
- 19:05Speaker 7: kind of get stronger. You gotta let the bone around
- 19:07Speaker 7: it gets stronger. So there's definitely still a timeframe. And
- 19:11Speaker 7: and yeah, to to your point, is this the fastest, yes,
- 19:13Speaker 7: is it reckless? Is it careless? Well, the honest answer
- 19:15Speaker 7: that I don't know. Many there are guys that would
- 19:17Speaker 7: say absolutely, this is outrageous, he shouldn't be doing that,
- 19:20Speaker 7: and and and I'm not saying they're wrong. I will
- 19:22Speaker 7: sincerely say I don't know. So if we never try
- 19:24Speaker 7: to push the envelope, you know, we're never gonna find out.
- 19:27Speaker 4: But yes, this is fast, Yeah, we'll yeah, we'll find
- 19:30Speaker 4: out if there's only there there's I hope we don't
- 19:32Speaker 4: find out.
- 19:33Speaker 2: And like, eight months is so wild compared to you know,
- 19:36Speaker 2: twenty years ago.
- 19:37Speaker 4: It is incredible, But you're right as advanced as we are,
- 19:40Speaker 4: you know, God still has to do his work and
- 19:43Speaker 4: so it takes.
- 19:43Speaker 2: A little bit of time.
- 19:44Speaker 7: So we'll see you. And then again, I wish in
- 19:47Speaker 7: the West, I'm I hope he does well. It sounds
- 19:49Speaker 7: like he's been doing good and yep, but I would
- 19:52Speaker 7: be scared if I was. Every every time he moves funny,
- 19:56Speaker 7: every time he cuts, every time he goes down, I
- 19:58Speaker 7: would be cringing, probably for at least the first.
- 20:00Speaker 6: Half of the season.
- 20:01Speaker 4: Well, there is doctor Steven Ethards. We appreciate your time
- 20:04Speaker 4: every single week. Have a go and stay hydrated out there.
- 20:07Speaker 4: Absolutely all right, thank you. All right, we're gonna go
- 20:10Speaker 4: to break.
- 20:10Speaker 2: We come back.

- 20:40Speaker 4: you know how important that technology is. You know important
- 20:43Speaker 4: that paper trail is. In this digital world that we
- 20:45Speaker 4: live in, a paper trail still matters, and it matters
- 20:48Speaker 4: every single day. I deal with it every day when
- 20:50Speaker 4: I leave here and I to go to my office.
- 20:52Speaker 4: It's the paper trail, and it keeps the business operating.
- 20:54Speaker 4: It's the lifeline of your business. So whether it's a

- 22:04Speaker 4: little insight from someone that's been at all the practices
- 22:07Speaker 4: so good they don't want asking too many questions I
- 22:09Speaker 4: didn't want.
- 22:10Speaker 6: To, like, why'd you say it like that I missed
- 22:11Speaker 6: one all of the practice like the one.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Going like it sounds like they're probably.
- 22:21Speaker 4: When Jacob was talking about the bills practice and they
- 22:24Speaker 4: like it's like an hour and a half, but they're
- 22:26Speaker 4: so efficient they probably be getting two and a half
- 22:28Speaker 4: two hours of work and in that hour and a half.
- 22:30Speaker 4: I can I can envision Lane's prizes being like that
- 22:33Speaker 4: just because they're going You gotta train fast if you're
- 22:35Speaker 4: going to go fast.
- 22:36Speaker 6: So yeah, are we under the like the the A
- 22:42Speaker 6: had the they have a twenty hour rule?
- 22:44Speaker 8: Right?
- 22:45Speaker 6: Are we in that right now? Or is that win
- 22:47Speaker 6: like the actual game week start?
- 22:49Speaker 2: No, I don't know. It's a really good question.
- 22:52Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 22:53Speaker 2: I'll call the I mean it wasn't.
- 22:55Speaker 6: A great question, sorry for me. Yeah, it's a pretty
- 22:59Speaker 6: good question.
- 23:02Speaker 9: What's worse not getting a good question to getting one
- 23:04Speaker 9: being like actually, actually, I take that.

- 24:10Speaker 4: All right, there is Taylor. You brought this to my
- 24:13Speaker 4: attention earlier. There is an absolutely unbelievable golf cheating story
- 24:22Speaker 4: out there. It's kind of gone viral over the last
- 24:24Speaker 4: twenty four hours. It's you know, golf is a gentleman's game.
- 24:29Speaker 4: It is a game where you you absolutely can cheat.
- 24:32Speaker 4: You can go out there, you can you can fluff
- 24:35Speaker 4: your lie, you can move the ball, you can say
- 24:37Speaker 4: you aren't out of bounds. You can, you know, give
- 24:39Speaker 4: yourself a five foot putt. You can write down, you
- 24:43Speaker 4: keep your own score. It is a gentleman's game. That's
- 24:45Speaker 4: why it is. So it's awesome in the professional golf
- 24:48Speaker 4: ranks when people call themselves on a penalty, they're like, wow, I'm.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Put the club down the grass.
- 24:55Speaker 4: The ball moved a one thirty second of an inch,
- 24:58Speaker 4: and you know, I gotta take it. I gotta call
- 25:01Speaker 4: myself on a two stroke penalty or whatever.
- 25:03Speaker 2: It is.
- 25:03Speaker 3: Like.
- 25:03Speaker 4: It is a gentleman sport and an an incredible game.
- 25:07Speaker 4: But of course it's easy to cheat. So it's no
- 25:09Speaker 4: surprise when you hear a cheating story, but this one
- 25:14Speaker 4: has taken it to an absolutely different level. There was
- 25:18Speaker 4: a member member golf tournament at a country club in
- 25:22Speaker 4: Saint Louis. Now, if anybody is familiar with like the
- 25:25Speaker 4: country club, were like a member member is a big deal.
- 25:28Speaker 4: It's there's there's like two, three, maybe four big tournaments
- 25:33Speaker 4: in the year, and people pay a lot of money
- 25:34Speaker 4: to be members of the club. They pay a lot
- 25:36Speaker 4: of money to be to play golf, to play to
- 25:40Speaker 4: play in that tournament, and it's a big deal. And
- 25:43Speaker 4: so he decided, what's this guy's name, Brian Zach collind
- 25:47Speaker 4: Zach colin ah Wing Haven country Club or golf club
- 25:53Speaker 4: whatever they call it. Of course every club has like
- 25:56Speaker 4: usually they'll have like a hole in one pot where
- 25:59Speaker 4: every round you contribute, maybe every round everybody plays is
- 26:03Speaker 4: a dollar that comes out that goes to the bottom.
- 26:04Speaker 2: This pot builds up, kind of like a jackpot at
- 26:06Speaker 2: a casino.
- 26:07Speaker 9: Like, so, I didn't see how much the pot is.
- 26:10Speaker 9: It's a pretty fancy country gold. It's probably a couple
- 26:13Speaker 9: thousand dollars. Yeah, I mean, these parts can get up
- 26:15Speaker 9: the thousands. It's probably good, guys, probably tens of thousands,
- 26:19Speaker 9: you know what I mean. It could be anything.
- 26:20Speaker 6: It could be hundreds, it could be millions, could be
- 26:22Speaker 6: millions of dollars, billions, millions.
- 26:24Speaker 2: But yeah, not like the enthusiastic.
- 26:25Speaker 4: It's kind of like a jackpot at a casino. It's
- 26:27Speaker 4: like the longer it goes before, like it builds up
- 26:29Speaker 4: over time. Blah blah blah. Well, he wanted that pot
- 26:33Speaker 4: real bad, so before the round at his member member
- 26:37Speaker 4: golf tournament, he shows up and he tells everybody he's
- 26:43Speaker 4: preparing them before the round premeditated cheating.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Here. He says, Man, at some point, I'm gonna have to.
- 26:50Speaker 4: Take a call. It's a business call. I'm gonna have
- 26:52Speaker 4: to take this call, and this is this is the
- 26:57Speaker 4: you know, this is a tournament. Again, It's not just
- 26:59Speaker 4: a random groove. It's is people that he plays with
- 27:01Speaker 4: a lot. This is friends, this is people in his
- 27:03Speaker 4: social club, right, he tells him before. And so whole
- 27:06Speaker 4: number three he says that out there calling me, I
- 27:09Speaker 4: have to go ahead. So he's like, I don't want
- 27:11Speaker 4: to interrupt out, I'm just going to drive ahead, take
- 27:13Speaker 4: this call and whatever. So no one sees he comes back.
- 27:18Speaker 4: They catch up with him on whole number four is
- 27:20Speaker 4: a par three, and they're like, where's your ball. He's like, man,
- 27:24Speaker 4: I'm looking for my ball everywhere. I don't know where
- 27:26Speaker 4: it was. He's like, I fend it, which means you
- 27:29Speaker 4: hit it kind of thin, it goes really low. Well,
- 27:31Speaker 4: this clown had gone up to the green and made
- 27:36Speaker 4: a fake divot, like a divot, like a ball mark
- 27:39Speaker 4: where the ball lands and it hits and it makes
- 27:40Speaker 4: a little scuff and you prepare your ball mark.
- 27:43Speaker 6: And they find then you're not usually getting a divit
- 27:45Speaker 6: because the ball flight is usually lower.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:47Speaker 4: Well, if it's fast, though, I guess you could have like, yeah,
- 27:49Speaker 4: I guess you could say it does. He tells his friends,
- 27:53Speaker 4: I saw the I saw the ball mark, I fended it,
- 27:55Speaker 4: though I can't find the ball, blah blah blah. Well,
- 27:56Speaker 4: of course they walk up and the ball is in
- 27:58Speaker 4: the hole. Absolutely go nuts. They celebrate. Well guess what
- 28:05Speaker 4: they celebrate he gets the pot.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 28:07Speaker 4: Well they they're like, Okay, nobody witnessed this. Confirm we
- 28:11Speaker 4: gotta confirm this, So let's go check the tape.
- 28:14Speaker 2: There is a there's a.
- 28:15Speaker 4: Golf shed, like a maintenance shed nearby. It's got a camera.
- 28:18Speaker 4: It's got a camera on the green, So let's go
- 28:21Speaker 4: check the footage. Well, turns out this was the most
- 28:25Speaker 4: premeditated golf cheating story of all time. He shows up
- 28:29Speaker 4: early in the morning in his car before so.
- 28:31Speaker 2: They were.
- 28:33Speaker 9: All he shows up before the event started.
- 28:35Speaker 4: Yeah, at dark, when it's dark, before everything opened. Parks
- 28:39Speaker 4: his car, walks out to the green, all on camera,
- 28:42Speaker 4: puts the ball in the hole, goes and makes a
- 28:46Speaker 4: fake ball mark on the makes the divot, and everything
- 28:51Speaker 4: completely planned out goes And of course he's trying to
- 28:55Speaker 4: win the pot. So I have to assume that this
- 28:59Speaker 4: was a huge pot, Like, yeah, had k to do
- 29:03Speaker 4: something like this, This is that egregious? Yeah, it's got
- 29:07Speaker 4: to be a big ass pot. Yeah right, what makes
- 29:11Speaker 4: this Like, I don't know what can make this worse,
- 29:13Speaker 4: but what makes this a little bit worse to me?
- 29:16Speaker 2: This guy is a plus two handicap.
- 29:18Speaker 9: That makes no sense to well, so he played college golf.
- 29:22Speaker 9: Like when I was telling you I saw it the
- 29:24Speaker 9: guy made a TikTok video. Who was at the club
- 29:26Speaker 9: with him? He's like, guys, this is probably the best
- 29:29Speaker 9: player at our club. He's a former golfer. They're like,
- 29:31Speaker 9: he almost got his pro card at one point. He's
- 29:33Speaker 9: a two handicap. They're like, if anybody would have made
- 29:36Speaker 9: the hole in one on their own, it was probably
- 29:37Speaker 9: this guy.
- 29:38Speaker 6: Well right, because he did.
- 29:39Speaker 4: And that so for people that don't know golf, plus
- 29:42Speaker 4: what a plus two means. If you're a plus handicap,
- 29:45Speaker 4: it means you are an incredible golfer.
- 29:47Speaker 2: So you ever been here?
- 29:48Speaker 4: Is like your golf handicap, Like if you're a one two,
- 29:50Speaker 4: three four five, that means that you're averaging one two,
- 29:53Speaker 4: three four five over part right, and it's roughly dependent.
- 29:57Speaker 2: On seventy four conist like the slipe level and the
- 30:00Speaker 2: slope rating of the course.
- 30:01Speaker 6: Like that they.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Golf Association. They they rank all the difficulty levels of
- 30:07Speaker 2: the course. So if like you shoot a.
- 30:09Speaker 4: Eight over, if you should an eighty on a really
- 30:11Speaker 4: difficult course, it might equal out to like a seventy
- 30:13Speaker 4: six at a normal course or an easier course.
- 30:15Speaker 8: Played to someone that says, actually, I can't take a
- 30:17Speaker 8: bogie here because the double bogue is you can't favor
- 30:21Speaker 8: double boge. You can't take one because you're about to.
- 30:23Speaker 4: Yeah, So a plus means you average to under par
- 30:29Speaker 4: every time, So it's par seventy two. He's averaging a
- 30:33Speaker 4: seventy rough, you know, give or take very good golf
- 30:38Speaker 4: that is really good. That's playing your ball right there,
- 30:40Speaker 4: and so that makes it like if this was a
- 30:42Speaker 4: thirty hinded capes that he shoots a hundred every time.
- 30:45Speaker 4: It's bad, but it's also kind of ha ha, kind
- 30:47Speaker 4: of funny a little bit. Uh, this is as bad
- 30:50Speaker 4: as a guess. This is jail time, what it should
- 30:53Speaker 4: be jail time.
- 30:54Speaker 5: You are technically stole money.
- 30:56Speaker 4: You're cheating to steal for a monetary gain, and like
- 30:59Speaker 4: probably not an inconsequential amount of it was.
- 31:02Speaker 5: It was so premeditated.
- 31:04Speaker 8: He's definitely kicked out of the club, like you thought
- 31:06Speaker 8: you had to know he resigned. You said resigned. Does
- 31:11Speaker 8: that mean I didn't mean to interrupt? Does that mean
- 31:13Speaker 8: that he worked there?
- 31:14Speaker 6: I'm sorry because I but I saw that you somewhere
- 31:18Speaker 6: else and I was.
- 31:19Speaker 4: Like, if no, it resigns what it says on the article, right,
- 31:23Speaker 4: he withdrew his membership, of course, from the scrutiny because
- 31:26Speaker 4: you're you got scarlet.
- 31:28Speaker 5: Letter at that point, I mean you were probably gonna
- 31:30Speaker 5: get kicked out anyway.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Oh for sure. Yeah, quit before you know, quick, before
- 31:33Speaker 2: you're fired fired.
- 31:34Speaker 4: Yeah, this is as as bad as it gets until
- 31:40Speaker 4: your point, like this is he cheated everybody out to
- 31:44Speaker 4: gain money like this, there should be something that comes out.
- 31:47Speaker 4: He did go on Saint Louis Sports radio. I think
- 31:49Speaker 4: it was ESPN Saint Louis or something like that. They
- 31:51Speaker 4: had him on there. Of course, apologies. He's like, now
- 31:55Speaker 4: it's not fair. It's not fair to my wife, to
- 31:58Speaker 4: my children. I got like kids under three years old,
- 32:01Speaker 4: and this was he paded his chest a little bit,
- 32:04Speaker 4: but it didn't matter.
- 32:05Speaker 5: But how do you not think that there's cameras, Yeah,
- 32:08Speaker 5: there cameras. A big brother, come on.
- 32:10Speaker 8: But almost almost anytime camera like that, you have to
- 32:13Speaker 8: have a witness. You're like, you're not going to give
- 32:16Speaker 8: away a pot. It's like, you're not to give away
- 32:18Speaker 8: a pot. That's saying because it had to be a
- 32:21Speaker 8: lot and no one's gonna give you that. Well, no
- 32:23Speaker 8: one saw it you. We're just trusting that you did it.
- 32:26Speaker 6: I mean the divot.
- 32:27Speaker 8: I just want to see video of him making the
- 32:29Speaker 8: divot because I feel like if he's just out there
- 32:31Speaker 8: just firing titleist into the green with his hand, that's yeah.
- 32:36Speaker 2: I couldn't find the video. I'm assuming or somebody.
- 32:40Speaker 6: You don't care about golf that much.
- 32:42Speaker 8: He cracks me up because it's like like there's part
- 32:44Speaker 8: of me that heard the story and I was like,
- 32:45Speaker 8: all right, I mean, like whatever, dude, it's just But
- 32:47Speaker 8: at the same time, that's.
- 32:48Speaker 9: One of the worst parts of this that you didn't
- 32:51Speaker 9: mention the phone call that he said he was taking
- 32:55Speaker 9: was allegedly because he has a terminally ill grandmother, and
- 32:59Speaker 9: he needs to want to.
- 33:00Speaker 6: Open that part. Guard that's what There was a grandma involved.
- 33:05Speaker 9: Yes, I said his grandmother's terminally ill call from his
- 33:08Speaker 9: flat hard part. Sorry, So you don't want people to
- 33:11Speaker 9: question he was basically like, guys, my grandma might be dying.
- 33:13Speaker 2: I got to take this phone call. Made it all up.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Who would have thought in twenty twenty six there's cameras.
- 33:20Speaker 6: Or you know, part two Glandma's.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Glam strings.
- 33:26Speaker 6: Sorry, I was on the phone with my grandma and
- 33:28Speaker 6: the President. I couldn't I couldn't.
- 33:30Speaker 5: President.
- 33:31Speaker 4: Yeah, well this is a wild story. And again like,
- 33:34Speaker 4: never cheat on anything, don't. Don't like cheating.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Golf is so easy, and a lot of things happen
- 33:39Speaker 2: in the heat of the moment, Like I've seen people
- 33:42Speaker 2: and maybe in my younger days, like I maybe kicked
- 33:44Speaker 2: the ball of out from under a tree or something.
- 33:48Speaker 4: But like at some point when you become an adult,
- 33:50Speaker 4: you're like why, like what, like why I'm not a
- 33:52Speaker 4: professional golfer?
- 33:54Speaker 6: That part two?
- 33:54Speaker 2: So I do think that guy's a loser.
- 33:57Speaker 8: The ones that I was away by when when like
- 34:01Speaker 8: I get more of it. When there's like a four
- 34:04Speaker 8: a foursome and they're playing whatever it is you got
- 34:07Speaker 8: you know what I'm talking about, your guess, and you're
- 34:09Speaker 8: in the chair. We're talking for some so I'm in
- 34:10Speaker 8: the corner on the chair and then but they're like, yeah,
- 34:12Speaker 8: they shot a forty seven.
- 34:14Speaker 9: Yeah what I know you'd like, No you didn't. Yeah,
- 34:17Speaker 9: you shot a forty seven on what the first five holes?
- 34:19Speaker 2: All right there it is. That's our golf cheating story.
- 34:21Speaker 2: What a loser.
- 34:22Speaker 4: He is the notre Dame of country club member member
- 34:25Speaker 4: golf tournament. So yeah, it's fantastic, and that it was
- 34:29Speaker 4: startling it.
- 34:30Speaker 2: Up to me too. Yeah, it needed a they needed
- 34:32Speaker 2: a whole segment. We need to go along with it.
- 34:33Speaker 6: I can't believe you forgot his grandma.
- 34:35Speaker 2: But we're gonna go to break, we're gonna come back,
- 34:36Speaker 2: and we're gonna talk more sports right here, off the bench.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Off the bench, I did forget his grandma. That's on me.

- 38:04Speaker 6: I thought they were.
- 38:04Speaker 8: Like an underrated man and now if I feel like
- 38:07Speaker 8: now I'm getting older, everyone like of all ages, everyone underrated.
- 38:11Speaker 6: No, I was totally wrong about that.
- 38:13Speaker 5: My favorite unplugged of all Like I know that the
- 38:19Speaker 5: Nirvana one gets all the love, but the Alison Chains
- 38:23Speaker 5: one is the best unplugged of all time.
- 38:26Speaker 6: I feel like they've only sometimes Pilots has a good
- 38:28Speaker 6: one too.
- 38:28Speaker 4: Yeah, Alison Chains is like unplugged album that I used
- 38:32Speaker 4: to listen to consistent, right, Like the other ones are good,
- 38:35Speaker 4: like a novelty thing.
- 38:37Speaker 2: But I think the unplugged ones from Alisers are better
- 38:39Speaker 2: than their original.
- 38:40Speaker 5: They're so good and like the band sounds so good,
- 38:44Speaker 5: Lane sounds amazing, like it's crazy.
- 38:49Speaker 6: It's crazy to me how popular they still even like it,
- 38:51Speaker 6: Like gen Z, it seems like they yeah like them.
- 38:54Speaker 6: Maybe it's just my algorithm.
- 38:55Speaker 2: They're just timeless.
- 38:56Speaker 5: They're timeless.
- 38:57Speaker 2: They like the Temptations.
- 38:59Speaker 6: I've always said it. I've always said the temptations of
- 39:04Speaker 6: the grunge era.
- 39:09Speaker 9: Then the Red Light the other day mad and I
- 39:11Speaker 9: was like, you know, they really are the Temptations.
- 39:14Speaker 6: I mean, I wanted to do that. I couldn't. I
- 39:20Speaker 6: didn't want to mess up and say that was the
- 39:22Speaker 6: actual song. That good clip it Ethan, you got a
- 39:30Speaker 6: good one. We got a banger. Ethan's coming right now,
- 39:38Speaker 6: don't worry.
- 39:40Speaker 2: Post game type of guy. Ah, post game got makes sense.
- 39:45Speaker 5: Wait, so I'm hearing in the chat that there were
- 39:47Speaker 5: seven seconds of zero gravity, but I don't know what
- 39:51Speaker 5: that means. And then somebody just said, what's up people?
- 39:54Speaker 5: Did anyone float up a few minutes ago when we
- 39:56Speaker 5: lost gravity? So at first I couldn't tell if we
- 39:59Speaker 5: were getting trolled, but then somebody else a second gravity
- 40:02Speaker 5: comment drop, so I was sure. So I'm like, very
- 40:07Speaker 5: I'm very confused about serial gravity.
- 40:10Speaker 8: Yea, NASA sure humanity Nope, after insane conspiracy theories ran rampant.
- 40:19Speaker 4: Hold on who says we never get breaking news during
- 40:21Speaker 4: the show. It's not breaking America specifically lost gravity.
- 40:26Speaker 2: No, so just.
- 40:30Speaker 8: An earthquake is just different, different, Sure humanity, Earth's gravity
- 40:37Speaker 8: will not disappear this week after insane conspiracy theories ran rampant.
- 40:41Speaker 8: I don't love that sentence structure from the New York Post,
- 40:43Speaker 8: but different, I mean probably.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Heard that in the chad to ask it to clean
- 40:51Speaker 2: it up.
- 40:54Speaker 6: Hey, could you make this sound less stupid?
- 40:58Speaker 4: Sometimes I do write emails out there. I'm like, hey,
- 41:01Speaker 4: did I say this right? They were like, well, I
- 41:03Speaker 4: don't know what this yere even asked that question correctly.
- 41:06Speaker 8: I remember writing like a lead for an article because
- 41:09Speaker 8: I do that very poorly, and Matt was something and
- 41:11Speaker 8: so I was like, hey, chat Chip, can you help
- 41:13Speaker 8: me make this a little bit more ap style professionals?
- 41:16Speaker 8: I didn't got a journalism school, and so I said,
- 41:18Speaker 8: I was like, hey, I got grammarly to help me
- 41:20Speaker 8: fix this up a little bit. Does this sound better?
- 41:22Speaker 8: And he's like, don't do that. That doesn't sound like
- 41:23Speaker 8: you're writing. It sounds like a computer wrote it. Your
- 41:25Speaker 8: writing is not like that at all.
- 41:27Speaker 2: And I was like, oh yeah, yeah, you got to
- 41:30Speaker 2: be genuinely Marler.
- 41:32Speaker 6: No, that's not good for anybody.
- 41:33Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right that.
- 41:37Speaker 5: Fact check that didn't happen. But this isn't like the
- 41:41Speaker 5: zero gravity thing, right well, I mean, but it's not
- 41:44Speaker 5: like we haven't reported fake news before.
- 41:46Speaker 4: But like I felt like we would we would have
- 41:47Speaker 4: floated if it did happen, We would have floated. We
- 41:50Speaker 4: would have I didn't like my pens stayed here. Lady Kane,
- 41:54Speaker 4: she's the whole thing.
- 41:55Speaker 9: Yeah, I wonder since we're on the third floor, like
- 41:57Speaker 9: we probably wouldn't feel it as much as somebody on
- 41:59Speaker 9: like the you.
- 42:00Speaker 4: Got maybe you had to be grounded, so bare feet
- 42:05Speaker 4: on earth whole morning, not on concrete, like if you
- 42:07Speaker 4: were on dirt or on some grass, bare feet grounded
- 42:10Speaker 4: with the earth, one with the earth, because earth is
- 42:14Speaker 4: a living thing.
- 42:14Speaker 2: You want to be grounded, bro, is it really? Oh yeah?
- 42:16Speaker 6: Oh yeah.
