Is the System Broken, or Are You? · Becoming Financially Confident

• 0:37
  You
• 0:37
  got
• 0:37
  the
• 0:38
  degree,
• 0:39
  you
• 0:39
  did
• 0:39
  what
• 0:39
  they
• 0:40
  told
• 0:40
  you
• 0:40
  to
• 0:40
  do,
• 0:41
  and
• 0:42
  the
• 0:42
  door
• 0:42
  closed
• 0:43
  anyway.
• 0:44
  Maybe
• 0:45
  it
• 0:45
  happened
• 0:45
  fast.
• 0:46
  Maybe
• 0:46
  you
• 0:47
  went
• 0:47
  from
• 0:47
  graduation
• 0:48
  to
• 0:48
  rejection
• 0:49
  in
• 0:49
  just
• 0:49
  six
• 0:49
  months
• 0:50
  flat.
• 0:51
  Or
• 0:52
  maybe
• 0:52
  it
• 0:52
  happened
• 0:52
  slow.
• 0:53
  Those
• 0:54
  years
• 0:54
  of
• 0:54
  lateral
• 0:55
  moves,
• 0:55
  those
• 0:56
  dead
• 0:56
  ends,
• 0:57
  watching
• 0:57
  the
• 0:57
  ladder
• 0:58
  go
• 0:58
  nowhere.
• 0:59
  But
• 1:00
  either
• 1:00
  way,
• 1:01
  we're
• 1:02
  in
• 1:02
  the
• 1:02
  same
• 1:02
  place.
• 1:04
  And
• 1:04
  you're
• 1:04
  quietly
• 1:05
  wondering
• 1:05
  to
• 1:05
  yourself,
• 1:07
  what
• 1:07
  if
• 1:07
  I'm
• 1:08
  the
• 1:08
  broken
• 1:08
  one?
• 1:09
  Well,
• 1:10
  let
• 1:10
  me
• 1:10
  say
• 1:10
  something
• 1:10
  right
• 1:11
  from
• 1:11
  the
• 1:11
  beginning.
• 1:11
  You're
• 1:12
  not
• 1:12
  broken.
• 1:13
  And
• 1:14
  I
• 1:14
  know
• 1:14
  it
• 1:15
  doesn't
• 1:15
  feel
• 1:15
  true
• 1:16
  right
• 1:16
  now,
• 1:18
  but
• 1:18
  the
• 1:18
  economy
• 1:18
  has
• 1:19
  moved
• 1:20
  and
• 1:20
  it
• 1:21
  didn't
• 1:21
  send
• 1:21
  you
• 1:21
  a
• 1:21
  warning.
• 1:22
  It
• 1:22
  just
• 1:22
  left.
• 1:23
  Jobs
• 1:24
  have
• 1:24
  shifted.
• 1:24
  The
• 1:25
  rules
• 1:25
  have
• 1:25
  changed.
• 1:26
  That
• 1:26
  degree
• 1:27
  that
• 1:27
  was
• 1:27
  supposed
• 1:28
  to
• 1:28
  open
• 1:28
  doors
• 1:29
  now
• 1:29
  feels
• 1:29
  like
• 1:29
  an
• 1:30
  expensive
• 1:30
  receipt
• 1:31
  for
• 1:31
  something
• 1:31
  you
• 1:31
  can't
• 1:32
  even
• 1:32
  return
• 1:32
  anymore.
• 1:34
  Or
• 1:34
  maybe
• 1:34
  you
• 1:34
  skipped
• 1:34
  college
• 1:35
  altogether
• 1:36
  and
• 1:36
  you
• 1:36
  got
• 1:37
  your
• 1:37
  own
• 1:37
  version
• 1:37
  of
• 1:38
  this.
• 1:38
  Wait.
• 1:39
  The
• 1:39
  voice
• 1:40
  that
• 1:40
  says,
• 1:40
  maybe
• 1:41
  I
• 1:41
  made
• 1:41
  the
• 1:41
  wrong
• 1:42
  call.
• 1:43
  Maybe
• 1:43
  I'm
• 1:44
  already
• 1:44
  behind.
• 1:45
  But
• 1:45
  here's
• 1:46
  what
• 1:46
  I
• 1:46
  need
• 1:46
  you
• 1:46
  to
• 1:46
  hear
• 1:47
  today.
• 1:48
  Your
• 1:48
  life
• 1:48
  isn't
• 1:48
  finished.
• 1:50
  Your
• 1:50
  story's
• 1:50
  not
• 1:51
  done
• 1:51
  getting
• 1:51
  written,
• 1:52
  and
• 1:52
  the
• 1:52
  shame
• 1:52
  you've
• 1:53
  been
• 1:53
  carrying,
• 1:54
  it
• 1:54
  was
• 1:54
  never
• 1:55
  yours
• 1:55
  to
• 1:55
  carry.
• 1:56
  So
• 1:57
  today
• 1:57
  we're
• 1:57
  going
• 1:57
  to
• 1:57
  get
• 1:58
  honest
• 1:58
  about
• 1:58
  the
• 1:58
  real
• 1:59
  job
• 1:59
  market,
• 2:00
  going
• 2:00
  to
• 2:00
  talk
• 2:01
  about
• 2:01
  what's
• 2:01
  actually
• 2:02
  true,
• 2:02
  what's
• 2:03
  a
• 2:03
  flat
• 2:03
  out
• 2:03
  lie,
• 2:04
  and
• 2:04
  how
• 2:04
  real
• 2:05
  people,
• 2:06
  people
• 2:06
  just
• 2:06
  like
• 2:06
  you,
• 2:07
  build
• 2:08
  something
• 2:08
  solid
• 2:09
  from
• 2:09
  right
• 2:10
  where
• 2:10
  you
• 2:10
  are.
• 2:11
  Let's
• 2:11
  do
• 2:12
  that
• 2:12
  on
• 2:12
  today's
• 2:12
  show.
• 2:22
  Hello
• 2:22
  and
• 2:22
  welcome
• 2:23
  to
• 2:23
  Financially
• 2:23
  Confident
• 2:24
  Christian.
• 2:25
  I'm
• 2:25
  your
• 2:25
  host,
• 2:25
  Ralph
• 2:26
  Estep
• 2:26
  Jr.
• 2:27
  And
• 2:27
  today
• 2:28
  we've
• 2:28
  got
• 2:28
  somebody
• 2:28
  that
• 2:29
  sent
• 2:29
  in
• 2:29
  a
• 2:30
  question
• 2:30
  about
• 2:30
  working
• 2:31
  in
• 2:31
  a
• 2:31
  warehouse
• 2:32
  job.
• 2:32
  They've
• 2:33
  got
• 2:33
  a
• 2:33
  degree
• 2:34
  and
• 2:34
  they're
• 2:34
  asking
• 2:35
  the
• 2:35
  bigger
• 2:35
  question
• 2:36
  if
• 2:36
  they're
• 2:36
  broken
• 2:37
  or
• 2:37
  if
• 2:38
  something
• 2:38
  bigger
• 2:38
  is
• 2:38
  broken.
• 2:40
  I
• 2:40
  want
• 2:40
  to
• 2:40
  start
• 2:40
  by
• 2:41
  validating
• 2:41
  something
• 2:42
  right
• 2:42
  from
• 2:42
  the
• 2:42
  beginning.
• 2:42
  Today,
• 2:43
  today's
• 2:44
  job
• 2:44
  market
• 2:45
  is
• 2:45
  genuinely
• 2:46
  not
• 2:46
  what
• 2:46
  it
• 2:46
  was
• 2:46
  30
• 2:47
  years
• 2:47
  ago.
• 2:48
  And
• 2:49
  that's
• 2:49
  not
• 2:49
  a
• 2:49
  personal
• 2:50
  failure.
• 2:51
  There's
• 2:51
  been
• 2:51
  a
• 2:52
  structural
• 2:53
  seismic
• 2:53
  shift.
• 2:55
  So
• 2:55
  the
• 2:55
  goal
• 2:56
  today
• 2:56
  is
• 2:56
  I
• 2:56
  want
• 2:56
  to
• 2:56
  separate
• 2:57
  real
• 2:57
  systematic
• 2:58
  trouble
• 2:58
  from
• 2:59
  your
• 2:59
  own
• 2:59
  story.
• 3:00
  And
• 3:01
  then
• 3:01
  we're
• 3:01
  going
• 3:01
  to
• 3:01
  talk
• 3:01
  about
• 3:01
  what
• 3:01
  you
• 3:01
  can
• 3:02
  actually
• 3:02
  do
• 3:02
  about
• 3:02
  it.
• 3:03
  But
• 3:03
  let's
• 3:03
  get
• 3:03
  right
• 3:03
  to
• 3:04
  this
• 3:04
  listener
• 3:04
  question
• 3:04
  now.
• 3:05
  This
• 3:05
  one
• 3:05
  we
• 3:06
  actually
• 3:06
  got
• 3:06
  that
• 3:07
  was
• 3:07
  posted
• 3:07
  on
• 3:07
  Reddit.
• 3:08
  I'm
• 3:08
  going
• 3:08
  to
• 3:08
  give
• 3:08
  you
• 3:09
  fair
• 3:09
  warning.
• 3:09
  This
• 3:09
  is
• 3:10
  a
• 3:10
  very
• 3:10
  direct
• 3:11
  question,
• 3:12
  but
• 3:12
  this
• 3:12
  is
• 3:12
  what
• 3:13
  they
• 3:13
  put.
• 3:14
  I
• 3:14
  just
• 3:14
  got
• 3:15
  asked
• 3:15
  why
• 3:15
  I'm
• 3:15
  working
• 3:16
  at
• 3:16
  a
• 3:16
  minimum
• 3:16
  wage
• 3:17
  job.
• 3:17
  After
• 3:17
  college.
• 3:19
  I
• 3:19
  would
• 3:19
  have
• 3:19
  been
• 3:19
  homeless,
• 3:20
  raped.
• 3:21
  Yeah,
• 3:21
  like
• 3:21
  I
• 3:22
  said,
• 3:22
  it's
• 3:22
  a
• 3:22
  little
• 3:22
  strong
• 3:22
  today.
• 3:23
  And
• 3:24
  left
• 3:24
  for
• 3:24
  dead
• 3:24
  years
• 3:24
  ago
• 3:25
  if
• 3:25
  I
• 3:25
  didn't
• 3:26
  have
• 3:26
  family
• 3:26
  members
• 3:27
  to
• 3:27
  live
• 3:27
  with.
• 3:28
  I'm
• 3:28
  pushing
• 3:28
  30
• 3:29
  now.
• 3:29
  I
• 3:30
  got
• 3:30
  Nothing
• 3:30
  to
• 3:30
  show
• 3:31
  for
• 3:31
  it.
• 3:32
  We
• 3:32
  got
• 3:32
  people
• 3:33
  with
• 3:33
  years,
• 3:33
  if
• 3:33
  not
• 3:34
  decades
• 3:34
  of
• 3:34
  experience
• 3:35
  being
• 3:35
  forced
• 3:36
  to
• 3:36
  downgrade
• 3:37
  and
• 3:37
  downgrade
• 3:38
  their
• 3:38
  pay
• 3:38
  and
• 3:38
  position.
• 3:40
  Hiring's
• 3:40
  at
• 3:40
  recession
• 3:41
  levels.
• 3:42
  Saving
• 3:42
  rates
• 3:42
  are
• 3:43
  at
• 3:43
  recession
• 3:43
  levels.
• 3:44
  Also,
• 3:44
  job
• 3:45
  revisions
• 3:45
  last
• 3:46
  year
• 3:46
  exceeded
• 3:47
  recession
• 3:47
  levels.
• 3:49
  Wages
• 3:49
  haven't
• 3:49
  cut
• 3:49
  up
• 3:50
  with
• 3:50
  real
• 3:50
  inflation
• 3:51
  or
• 3:51
  productivity
• 3:52
  for
• 3:52
  decades.
• 3:53
  Part
• 3:53
  of
• 3:54
  me
• 3:54
  wants
• 3:54
  to
• 3:54
  just
• 3:54
  accept
• 3:55
  being
• 3:55
  neat.
• 3:55
  Now.
• 3:56
  There's
• 3:56
  a
• 3:56
  term
• 3:56
  we're
• 3:56
  going
• 3:56
  to
• 3:57
  define
• 3:57
  here
• 3:57
  in
• 3:57
  a
• 3:57
  second.
• 3:57
  Neet
• 3:58
  for
• 3:59
  life.
• 4:00
  It's
• 4:01
  not
• 4:01
  as
• 4:01
  if
• 4:01
  I
• 4:01
  could
• 4:01
  get
• 4:01
  a
• 4:02
  job.
• 4:03
  Tbh,
• 4:04
  thanks.
• 4:05
  Like
• 4:05
  I
• 4:05
  said,
• 4:05
  this
• 4:05
  one
• 4:06
  was
• 4:06
  from
• 4:06
  Reddit.
• 4:07
  So
• 4:07
  let's
• 4:07
  start
• 4:07
  off
• 4:08
  by
• 4:08
  defining
• 4:08
  what
• 4:08
  does
• 4:09
  neat
• 4:09
  mean?
• 4:09
  Because
• 4:09
  I
• 4:10
  actually
• 4:10
  didn't
• 4:10
  know
• 4:10
  what
• 4:10
  this
• 4:10
  meant.
• 4:12
  If
• 4:12
  you've
• 4:12
  not
• 4:12
  heard
• 4:13
  the
• 4:13
  term
• 4:13
  neat
• 4:13
  and
• 4:14
  neet,
• 4:15
  it's
• 4:15
  been
• 4:16
  floating
• 4:16
  around
• 4:16
  online.
• 4:17
  It
• 4:17
  stands
• 4:18
  for
• 4:18
  not
• 4:18
  in
• 4:18
  education,
• 4:19
  employment
• 4:20
  or
• 4:20
  training.
• 4:21
  And
• 4:21
  it
• 4:21
  describes
• 4:22
  millions
• 4:22
  who
• 4:23
  haven't
• 4:23
  just
• 4:23
  lost
• 4:23
  a
• 4:24
  job.
• 4:25
  They've
• 4:25
  stepped
• 4:25
  off
• 4:26
  the
• 4:26
  path
• 4:26
  completely
• 4:27
  and
• 4:28
  they've
• 4:28
  started
• 4:28
  to
• 4:28
  wonder
• 4:28
  if
• 4:29
  there's
• 4:29
  even
• 4:29
  a
• 4:29
  path
• 4:30
  left
• 4:30
  for
• 4:30
  them.
• 4:32
  So
• 4:32
  that's
• 4:32
  where
• 4:33
  you
• 4:33
  are
• 4:33
  right
• 4:33
  now.
• 4:34
  I
• 4:35
  want
• 4:35
  you
• 4:35
  to
• 4:35
  know
• 4:35
  this
• 4:36
  show
• 4:36
  is
• 4:37
  custom
• 4:37
  tailored
• 4:37
  for
• 4:38
  you.
• 4:39
  The
• 4:39
  big
• 4:40
  idea
• 4:40
  today
• 4:40
  is
• 4:40
  the
• 4:41
  job
• 4:41
  market
• 4:41
  is
• 4:42
  actually
• 4:42
  broken,
• 4:43
  but
• 4:44
  you
• 4:44
  are
• 4:44
  not.
• 4:45
  And
• 4:45
  there
• 4:45
  are
• 4:46
  moves
• 4:46
  that
• 4:46
  you
• 4:46
  can
• 4:46
  make
• 4:46
  right
• 4:47
  now
• 4:47
  to
• 4:48
  repair
• 4:48
  where
• 4:49
  you
• 4:49
  are.
• 4:49
  So
• 4:49
  let's
• 4:50
  get
• 4:50
  right
• 4:50
  to
• 4:50
  it.
• 4:50
  The
• 4:51
  first
• 4:51
  thing
• 4:51
  we've
• 4:51
  got
• 4:52
  to
• 4:52
  do
• 4:52
  is
• 4:52
  we've
• 4:52
  got
• 4:52
  to
• 4:53
  separate
• 4:53
  truth
• 4:53
  from
• 4:54
  story.
• 4:55
  There's
• 4:56
  some
• 4:56
  facts.
• 4:57
  Housing
• 4:58
  and
• 4:58
  stability,
• 4:59
  those
• 4:59
  are
• 5:00
  survival.
• 5:01
  Those
• 5:02
  are
• 5:02
  things
• 5:02
  that
• 5:02
  you're
• 5:02
  doing.
• 5:02
  You
• 5:03
  said
• 5:03
  you're
• 5:03
  working
• 5:03
  a
• 5:04
  job
• 5:05
  at
• 5:05
  a
• 5:05
  warehouse.
• 5:07
  You
• 5:07
  have
• 5:07
  a
• 5:07
  home
• 5:08
  and
• 5:08
  you
• 5:08
  have
• 5:08
  stability.
• 5:10
  That
• 5:10
  survival.
• 5:12
  You've
• 5:12
  got
• 5:12
  a
• 5:12
  degree,
• 5:13
  you've
• 5:13
  got
• 5:13
  skills.
• 5:15
  The
• 5:15
  issue
• 5:15
  is
• 5:15
  your
• 5:16
  positioning
• 5:16
  might
• 5:16
  be
• 5:17
  wrong,
• 5:17
  but
• 5:17
  your
• 5:18
  skills
• 5:18
  aren't
• 5:18
  wrong.
• 5:21
  And
• 5:21
  then
• 5:22
  you
• 5:22
  say
• 5:22
  something
• 5:22
  really
• 5:23
  bold
• 5:23
  here
• 5:23
  in
• 5:23
  this
• 5:23
  question.
• 5:25
  I'm
• 5:25
  broken.
• 5:27
  Should
• 5:27
  I
• 5:27
  just
• 5:27
  give
• 5:27
  up?
• 5:29
  The
• 5:30
  fact
• 5:30
  is,
• 5:30
  you
• 5:30
  say,
• 5:30
  I
• 5:31
  work
• 5:31
  in
• 5:31
  a
• 5:31
  warehouse.
• 5:33
  The
• 5:33
  market
• 5:33
  is
• 5:33
  hard.
• 5:34
  My
• 5:34
  degree
• 5:34
  went
• 5:35
  a
• 5:35
  different
• 5:35
  way.
• 5:36
  That's
• 5:37
  not
• 5:37
  the
• 5:37
  same
• 5:37
  thing
• 5:38
  as
• 5:38
  you
• 5:38
  being
• 5:38
  personally
• 5:39
  broken.
• 5:40
  Yes,
• 5:41
  your
• 5:41
  circumstances
• 5:42
  are
• 5:42
  real,
• 5:42
  but
• 5:43
  your
• 5:43
  worth
• 5:43
  isn't
• 5:44
  determined
• 5:44
  by
• 5:44
  your
• 5:45
  job
• 5:45
  title.
• 5:45
  And
• 5:45
  I
• 5:46
  need
• 5:46
  you
• 5:46
  to
• 5:46
  hear
• 5:46
  that
• 5:46
  right
• 5:47
  now.
• 5:47
  If
• 5:47
  you're
• 5:48
  in
• 5:48
  a
• 5:48
  job
• 5:48
  that
• 5:48
  you
• 5:49
  don't
• 5:49
  feel
• 5:49
  like
• 5:49
  is
• 5:49
  getting
• 5:50
  you
• 5:50
  to
• 5:50
  where
• 5:50
  you
• 5:51
  want
• 5:51
  to
• 5:51
  be,
• 5:51
  that
• 5:51
  doesn't
• 5:52
  mean
• 5:52
  you're
• 5:52
  broken.
• 5:53
  It
• 5:53
  means
• 5:53
  that
• 5:54
  your
• 5:54
  worth
• 5:55
  is
• 5:55
  not
• 5:56
  determined
• 5:56
  by
• 5:56
  your
• 5:57
  job
• 5:57
  title.
• 5:59
  So
• 5:59
  let's
• 5:59
  pivot
• 5:59
  a
• 5:59
  little
• 5:59
  bit.
• 6:00
  Let's
• 6:00
  talk
• 6:00
  about
• 6:00
  what's
• 6:01
  actually
• 6:01
  broken
• 6:02
  and
• 6:02
  what's
• 6:03
  in
• 6:03
  your
• 6:03
  control.
• 6:03
  Because
• 6:03
  that's
• 6:04
  the
• 6:04
  thing
• 6:04
  we
• 6:04
  need
• 6:04
  to
• 6:04
  understand.
• 6:06
  Hiring
• 6:07
  freezes
• 6:07
  right
• 6:07
  now
• 6:08
  are
• 6:08
  real.
• 6:08
  They're
• 6:09
  Facts.
• 6:09
  When
• 6:09
  you
• 6:09
  look
• 6:09
  around,
• 6:10
  those
• 6:10
  are
• 6:10
  true
• 6:11
  level.
• 6:11
  Those
• 6:12
  entry
• 6:12
  level
• 6:13
  jobs
• 6:13
  that
• 6:13
  everybody
• 6:14
  thought
• 6:14
  they
• 6:14
  were
• 6:14
  going
• 6:14
  to
• 6:14
  get
• 6:15
  out
• 6:15
  of
• 6:15
  college
• 6:16
  have
• 6:16
  now
• 6:16
  become
• 6:16
  mid
• 6:17
  level
• 6:17
  job.
• 6:18
  And
• 6:18
  yes,
• 6:18
  there
• 6:19
  are
• 6:19
  workers
• 6:19
  with
• 6:20
  10
• 6:20
  and
• 6:20
  15
• 6:20
  years
• 6:21
  of
• 6:21
  experience
• 6:22
  competing
• 6:22
  for
• 6:22
  those
• 6:23
  entry
• 6:23
  level
• 6:23
  roles.
• 6:25
  Those
• 6:25
  are
• 6:25
  facts.
• 6:27
  Productivity
• 6:28
  is
• 6:28
  up,
• 6:29
  but
• 6:29
  wages
• 6:30
  have
• 6:30
  been
• 6:30
  flat
• 6:30
  for
• 6:31
  a
• 6:31
  decade.
• 6:33
  But
• 6:33
  friend,
• 6:33
  you
• 6:33
  didn't
• 6:34
  break
• 6:34
  this.
• 6:35
  You
• 6:35
  are
• 6:36
  operating
• 6:36
  inside
• 6:37
  a
• 6:37
  genuinely
• 6:38
  harder
• 6:38
  system
• 6:38
  today
• 6:39
  than
• 6:39
  it
• 6:39
  was
• 6:39
  just
• 6:39
  five
• 6:40
  years
• 6:40
  ago.
• 6:42
  But
• 6:42
  you
• 6:42
  can't
• 6:43
  change
• 6:43
  your
• 6:43
  job
• 6:43
  title
• 6:44
  this
• 6:44
  week.
• 6:45
  You
• 6:46
  can
• 6:46
  change
• 6:46
  things,
• 6:46
  you
• 6:47
  can
• 6:47
  change
• 6:47
  your
• 6:47
  savings
• 6:48
  rate,
• 6:48
  you
• 6:49
  can
• 6:49
  change
• 6:49
  your
• 6:49
  positioning,
• 6:50
  you
• 6:50
  can
• 6:50
  think
• 6:51
  about
• 6:51
  that
• 6:51
  next
• 6:51
  move.
• 6:53
  But
• 6:53
  what
• 6:54
  we're
• 6:54
  seeing
• 6:54
  is
• 6:54
  many
• 6:54
  employers
• 6:55
  don't
• 6:55
  need
• 6:55
  the
• 6:55
  credential.
• 6:56
  We
• 6:56
  talked
• 6:57
  a
• 6:57
  lot
• 6:57
  about
• 6:57
  this
• 6:57
  yesterday.
• 6:59
  It's
• 6:59
  not
• 6:59
  about
• 6:59
  the
• 6:59
  degree
• 7:00
  anymore.
• 7:00
  The
• 7:00
  degree
• 7:01
  might
• 7:01
  be
• 7:01
  necessary.
• 7:02
  What
• 7:03
  they're
• 7:03
  looking
• 7:03
  for
• 7:04
  is
• 7:04
  demonstrated
• 7:05
  skills.
• 7:08
  Your
• 7:08
  next
• 7:09
  move
• 7:09
  doesn't
• 7:09
  have
• 7:09
  to
• 7:09
  be
• 7:09
  moving
• 7:10
  up.
• 7:11
  It's
• 7:11
  just
• 7:11
  got
• 7:11
  to
• 7:11
  be
• 7:12
  strategic.
• 7:13
  As
• 7:14
  I
• 7:14
  said,
• 7:14
  the
• 7:14
  system
• 7:15
  changed.
• 7:15
  You
• 7:16
  didn't
• 7:16
  break
• 7:16
  it
• 7:17
  and
• 7:17
  you
• 7:17
  can
• 7:17
  fix
• 7:18
  it,
• 7:19
  the
• 7:19
  position
• 7:19
  that
• 7:19
  you're
• 7:20
  in.
• 7:21
  But
• 7:21
  you've
• 7:21
  got
• 7:21
  to
• 7:21
  do
• 7:22
  a
• 7:22
  shift
• 7:22
  right
• 7:22
  now.
• 7:23
  You
• 7:23
  got
• 7:23
  to
• 7:23
  shift
• 7:23
  from
• 7:24
  survival
• 7:24
  to
• 7:24
  strategy.
• 7:26
  Right
• 7:26
  now
• 7:26
  you're
• 7:26
  living
• 7:27
  in
• 7:27
  survival
• 7:27
  mode.
• 7:28
  I've
• 7:28
  been
• 7:28
  there
• 7:29
  and
• 7:29
  I've
• 7:29
  done
• 7:29
  that
• 7:29
  and
• 7:29
  that's
• 7:30
  okay.
• 7:31
  Hold
• 7:31
  on
• 7:32
  to
• 7:32
  your
• 7:32
  housing,
• 7:33
  hold
• 7:33
  on
• 7:33
  to
• 7:33
  that
• 7:33
  position.
• 7:34
  That's
• 7:35
  real
• 7:35
  work.
• 7:35
  Those
• 7:35
  are
• 7:35
  the
• 7:35
  things
• 7:36
  you
• 7:36
  got
• 7:36
  to
• 7:36
  do.
• 7:37
  But
• 7:38
  the
• 7:38
  problem
• 7:38
  with
• 7:38
  survival
• 7:39
  only
• 7:40
  hurts
• 7:40
  when
• 7:40
  you
• 7:40
  confuse
• 7:41
  it
• 7:41
  with
• 7:41
  I'm
• 7:41
  broken.
• 7:42
  Because
• 7:42
  that's
• 7:42
  what
• 7:42
  I
• 7:42
  hear
• 7:42
  you
• 7:43
  saying
• 7:43
  is
• 7:44
  I'm
• 7:44
  surviving
• 7:45
  but
• 7:45
  I'm
• 7:45
  broken.
• 7:47
  We
• 7:47
  got
• 7:47
  to
• 7:47
  move
• 7:47
  away
• 7:47
  from
• 7:48
  that.
• 7:48
  We've
• 7:48
  got
• 7:48
  to
• 7:48
  start
• 7:48
  asking
• 7:49
  strategic
• 7:50
  questions.
• 7:52
  What
• 7:52
  can
• 7:52
  I
• 7:52
  do
• 7:53
  in
• 7:53
  the
• 7:53
  next
• 7:53
  30
• 7:53
  days?
• 7:54
  It
• 7:54
  opens
• 7:54
  a
• 7:54
  door
• 7:55
  or
• 7:55
  gives
• 7:55
  me
• 7:56
  another
• 7:56
  area
• 7:56
  to
• 7:56
  look.
• 7:57
  Maybe
• 7:58
  that's
• 7:58
  a
• 7:58
  conversation
• 7:59
  with
• 7:59
  someone
• 7:59
  in
• 8:00
  a
• 8:00
  field
• 8:00
  you're
• 8:00
  curious
• 8:00
  about.
• 8:01
  We
• 8:01
  talked
• 8:01
  a
• 8:01
  lot
• 8:01
  about
• 8:01
  this
• 8:02
  yesterday.
• 8:03
  Reach
• 8:03
  out
• 8:03
  to
• 8:04
  people,
• 8:04
  maybe
• 8:04
  it's
• 8:05
  going
• 8:05
  to
• 8:05
  get
• 8:05
  a
• 8:05
  skill
• 8:05
  you're
• 8:06
  not,
• 8:06
  you
• 8:06
  don't
• 8:06
  know
• 8:07
  right
• 8:07
  now.
• 8:07
  Turn
• 8:08
  that
• 8:08
  into
• 8:08
  a
• 8:08
  portfolio
• 8:09
  piece.
• 8:11
  Because
• 8:11
  when
• 8:12
  I
• 8:12
  think
• 8:12
  about
• 8:12
  your
• 8:13
  message
• 8:13
  here
• 8:13
  on
• 8:13
  Reddit,
• 8:14
  you
• 8:14
  survived
• 8:15
  things
• 8:15
  most
• 8:15
  people
• 8:16
  haven't.
• 8:16
  I
• 8:16
  mean,
• 8:16
  you
• 8:17
  were
• 8:17
  very
• 8:17
  graphic
• 8:17
  about
• 8:18
  it.
• 8:18
  You
• 8:18
  were
• 8:18
  said
• 8:18
  you're
• 8:19
  nearly
• 8:19
  homeless,
• 8:20
  you
• 8:20
  were
• 8:20
  worried
• 8:20
  about
• 8:20
  getting
• 8:20
  raped.
• 8:21
  If
• 8:21
  it
• 8:21
  wasn't
• 8:21
  for
• 8:22
  family,
• 8:22
  you'd
• 8:22
  be
• 8:22
  struggling.
• 8:23
  Those
• 8:23
  are
• 8:24
  survival
• 8:24
  things.
• 8:26
  And
• 8:26
  at
• 8:26
  30,
• 8:27
  you've
• 8:28
  maintained
• 8:28
  stability
• 8:29
  for
• 8:29
  years
• 8:29
  in
• 8:30
  what
• 8:30
  I
• 8:30
  would
• 8:30
  assume
• 8:31
  is
• 8:31
  a
• 8:31
  minimum
• 8:31
  wage
• 8:32
  job.
• 8:34
  And
• 8:34
  you're
• 8:34
  here
• 8:34
  asking
• 8:35
  questions,
• 8:36
  which
• 8:36
  is
• 8:36
  the
• 8:36
  definition
• 8:37
  of
• 8:37
  someone
• 8:38
  who's
• 8:38
  not
• 8:38
  finished
• 8:39
  yet.
• 8:40
  But
• 8:41
  you've
• 8:41
  got
• 8:41
  to
• 8:41
  take
• 8:41
  a
• 8:41
  mindset
• 8:42
  change.
• 8:42
  You
• 8:43
  got
• 8:43
  to
• 8:43
  move
• 8:43
  Away
• 8:43
  from
• 8:44
  I
• 8:44
  can't
• 8:44
  touch
• 8:45
  to
• 8:45
  I'm
• 8:45
  making
• 8:45
  one
• 8:46
  move
• 8:46
  this
• 8:46
  week.
• 8:48
  Yes,
• 8:48
  survival
• 8:49
  will
• 8:49
  get
• 8:49
  you
• 8:49
  through
• 8:50
  next
• 8:50
  month,
• 8:51
  but
• 8:51
  strategy
• 8:52
  takes
• 8:52
  you
• 8:52
  somewhere
• 8:53
  different.
• 8:55
  You
• 8:55
  ask
• 8:55
  something
• 8:55
  that
• 8:56
  haunts
• 8:56
  me
• 8:56
  a
• 8:56
  little
• 8:57
  bit
• 8:57
  as
• 8:57
  well.
• 8:58
  What
• 8:58
  if
• 8:58
  I
• 8:58
  just
• 8:59
  accepted
• 8:59
  being
• 9:00
  done?
• 9:00
  That
• 9:00
  seems
• 9:01
  to
• 9:01
  be
• 9:01
  a
• 9:01
  lot
• 9:01
  of
• 9:01
  people,
• 9:02
  especially
• 9:02
  young
• 9:02
  people,
• 9:03
  that's.
• 9:03
  That's
• 9:03
  kind
• 9:03
  of
• 9:03
  where
• 9:04
  they're
• 9:04
  landing
• 9:04
  right
• 9:04
  now,
• 9:05
  that,
• 9:05
  that
• 9:05
  neat
• 9:06
  feeling.
• 9:07
  And
• 9:07
  I
• 9:07
  don't
• 9:08
  think
• 9:08
  you're
• 9:08
  asking
• 9:08
  that
• 9:08
  because
• 9:09
  you're
• 9:09
  lazy.
• 9:11
  I
• 9:11
  just
• 9:11
  think
• 9:11
  exhaustion
• 9:12
  is
• 9:12
  winning
• 9:13
  over
• 9:13
  hope
• 9:13
  right
• 9:13
  now.
• 9:15
  And
• 9:15
  that's
• 9:15
  the
• 9:15
  one
• 9:16
  battle
• 9:16
  where
• 9:16
  giving
• 9:17
  up
• 9:17
  actually
• 9:17
  cost
• 9:18
  you
• 9:18
  everything.
• 9:20
  Which
• 9:20
  is
• 9:20
  why
• 9:20
  I
• 9:20
  want
• 9:21
  to
• 9:21
  go
• 9:21
  back
• 9:21
  to
• 9:21
  faith
• 9:21
  a
• 9:22
  little
• 9:22
  bit
• 9:22
  now.
• 9:23
  I'm
• 9:23
  not
• 9:23
  going
• 9:23
  to
• 9:23
  sit
• 9:23
  here
• 9:23
  and
• 9:24
  tell
• 9:24
  you
• 9:24
  that
• 9:24
  faith
• 9:24
  is
• 9:25
  going
• 9:25
  to
• 9:25
  erase
• 9:25
  exhaustion.
• 9:26
  You
• 9:26
  can
• 9:27
  be
• 9:27
  tired
• 9:27
  and
• 9:27
  be
• 9:28
  faithful
• 9:28
  at
• 9:28
  the
• 9:28
  same
• 9:29
  time.
• 9:30
  And
• 9:30
  God
• 9:30
  doesn't
• 9:30
  promise
• 9:31
  the
• 9:31
  job
• 9:31
  market
• 9:32
  fixes
• 9:32
  itself.
• 9:33
  He
• 9:33
  doesn't
• 9:34
  promise
• 9:34
  that
• 9:34
  that
• 9:34
  degree
• 9:35
  you
• 9:35
  got
• 9:35
  is
• 9:36
  suddenly
• 9:36
  going
• 9:36
  to
• 9:36
  open
• 9:36
  up
• 9:37
  doors
• 9:37
  or
• 9:37
  that
• 9:38
  the
• 9:38
  economy
• 9:38
  is
• 9:38
  going
• 9:39
  to
• 9:39
  become
• 9:39
  fair
• 9:39
  for
• 9:40
  everybody.
• 9:42
  Those
• 9:42
  aren't
• 9:42
  things
• 9:42
  that
• 9:42
  faith
• 9:43
  is
• 9:43
  going
• 9:43
  to
• 9:43
  bring
• 9:43
  you.
• 9:44
  But
• 9:44
  faith
• 9:44
  does
• 9:45
  promise
• 9:45
  something.
• 9:47
  And
• 9:47
  don't
• 9:47
  overlook
• 9:48
  this.
• 9:49
  You're
• 9:49
  not
• 9:49
  alone
• 9:50
  in
• 9:50
  this.
• 9:51
  God
• 9:52
  sees
• 9:52
  you
• 9:52
  getting
• 9:52
  up
• 9:53
  for
• 9:53
  that
• 9:53
  shift
• 9:53
  that
• 9:53
  pays
• 9:54
  next
• 9:54
  to
• 9:54
  nothing
• 9:54
  at
• 9:55
  the
• 9:55
  warehouse.
• 9:56
  He
• 9:56
  sees
• 9:57
  you
• 9:57
  keeping
• 9:57
  yourself
• 9:57
  stable
• 9:58
  when
• 9:58
  the
• 9:59
  hardest
• 9:59
  work
• 9:59
  there
• 9:59
  is.
• 10:01
  He
• 10:02
  sees
• 10:02
  that
• 10:02
  you
• 10:02
  haven't
• 10:03
  quit
• 10:03
  as
• 10:03
  well.
• 10:05
  God
• 10:05
  doesn't
• 10:05
  value
• 10:06
  because
• 10:06
  the
• 10:06
  economy
• 10:07
  does
• 10:07
  it
• 10:07
  doesn't
• 10:08
  value
• 10:08
  that.
• 10:08
  Same
• 10:09
  way
• 10:09
  he
• 10:09
  doesn't
• 10:10
  see
• 10:10
  you
• 10:10
  as
• 10:10
  broken
• 10:11
  because
• 10:11
  a
• 10:11
  broken
• 10:12
  system
• 10:12
  treats
• 10:13
  you
• 10:13
  that
• 10:13
  way.
• 10:15
  The
• 10:15
  decision
• 10:15
  you're
• 10:16
  making
• 10:16
  right
• 10:16
  now,
• 10:16
  in
• 10:17
  this
• 10:17
  very
• 10:17
  moment,
• 10:19
  do
• 10:19
  you
• 10:20
  still
• 10:20
  believe
• 10:20
  you
• 10:20
  have
• 10:21
  a
• 10:21
  next
• 10:21
  chapter?
• 10:22
  That
• 10:23
  decision
• 10:23
  is
• 10:23
  spiritual
• 10:25
  and
• 10:25
  that's
• 10:25
  everything
• 10:27
  because
• 10:28
  you
• 10:28
  survived
• 10:28
  the
• 10:29
  part
• 10:29
  most
• 10:29
  people
• 10:29
  don't
• 10:30
  survive.
• 10:31
  You
• 10:31
  didn't
• 10:31
  become
• 10:31
  homeless.
• 10:33
  You
• 10:33
  didn't
• 10:33
  give
• 10:34
  up.
• 10:35
  That's
• 10:35
  not
• 10:36
  weakness.
• 10:37
  That's
• 10:38
  actually
• 10:38
  what
• 10:38
  strength
• 10:38
  looks
• 10:39
  like
• 10:39
  when
• 10:40
  strength
• 10:40
  is
• 10:40
  quiet.
• 10:40
  And
• 10:41
  sometimes
• 10:41
  strength
• 10:41
  is
• 10:41
  quiet.
• 10:42
  So
• 10:42
  here's
• 10:42
  your
• 10:44
  win
• 10:44
  for
• 10:44
  today.
• 10:45
  I
• 10:45
  want
• 10:45
  you
• 10:45
  to
• 10:45
  write
• 10:46
  down
• 10:46
  three
• 10:46
  things
• 10:47
  you've
• 10:47
  actually
• 10:47
  learned
• 10:48
  in
• 10:48
  your
• 10:48
  current
• 10:48
  job
• 10:49
  that
• 10:49
  transfer
• 10:50
  to
• 10:50
  other
• 10:50
  fields.
• 10:50
  When
• 10:51
  we're
• 10:51
  stuck
• 10:51
  in
• 10:51
  something
• 10:51
  a
• 10:52
  lot
• 10:52
  of
• 10:52
  people
• 10:52
  don't
• 10:52
  think
• 10:52
  about
• 10:53
  the
• 10:53
  things
• 10:53
  that
• 10:54
  you
• 10:54
  actually
• 10:54
  know
• 10:55
  how
• 10:55
  to
• 10:55
  do.
• 10:55
  I'm
• 10:55
  not
• 10:56
  telling
• 10:56
  you
• 10:56
  to
• 10:56
  go
• 10:56
  write
• 10:56
  a
• 10:56
  whole
• 10:57
  resume,
• 10:57
  not
• 10:58
  build
• 10:58
  some
• 10:58
  magical
• 10:59
  portfolio.
• 11:00
  Just
• 11:00
  write
• 11:00
  three
• 11:01
  things
• 11:01
  and
• 11:01
  I'm
• 11:02
  going
• 11:02
  to
• 11:02
  give
• 11:02
  you
• 11:02
  some,
• 11:02
  a
• 11:02
  couple
• 11:03
  examples
• 11:03
  that
• 11:03
  people
• 11:04
  don't
• 11:04
  think
• 11:04
  about.
• 11:05
  How
• 11:05
  about
• 11:05
  this
• 11:05
  one?
• 11:06
  I'm
• 11:06
  working
• 11:06
  under
• 11:07
  pressure
• 11:07
  in
• 11:07
  a
• 11:08
  warehouse
• 11:08
  environment.
• 11:09
  I've
• 11:09
  worked
• 11:09
  in
• 11:10
  a
• 11:10
  paint
• 11:10
  warehouse
• 11:11
  when
• 11:11
  I
• 11:11
  was
• 11:11
  in
• 11:11
  college.
• 11:12
  Warehouses
• 11:13
  are
• 11:13
  pressure
• 11:14
  filled
• 11:14
  environments.
• 11:15
  If
• 11:15
  you're
• 11:15
  surviving
• 11:16
  that
• 11:16
  you've
• 11:17
  got
• 11:17
  skills.
• 11:18
  Maybe
• 11:19
  you
• 11:19
  know
• 11:19
  a
• 11:19
  lot
• 11:19
  about
• 11:19
  logistics
• 11:20
  and
• 11:20
  scheduling.
• 11:22
  Maybe
• 11:22
  problem
• 11:22
  solving
• 11:23
  is
• 11:23
  when
• 11:23
  systems
• 11:24
  break
• 11:24
  down.
• 11:25
  If
• 11:26
  you're
• 11:26
  working
• 11:26
  with
• 11:26
  other
• 11:26
  people,
• 11:27
  maybe
• 11:27
  you've
• 11:27
  developed
• 11:28
  some
• 11:28
  people
• 11:28
  management
• 11:29
  skills
• 11:29
  working
• 11:30
  alongside
• 11:30
  different
• 11:31
  teams.
• 11:32
  Maybe
• 11:32
  you
• 11:32
  understand
• 11:33
  how
• 11:33
  to
• 11:34
  keep
• 11:34
  momentum
• 11:34
  when
• 11:34
  the
• 11:35
  work
• 11:35
  is
• 11:35
  repetitive.
• 11:35
  Hey,
• 11:36
  warehouse
• 11:36
  work
• 11:37
  is
• 11:37
  a
• 11:38
  lot
• 11:38
  of
• 11:38
  times
• 11:38
  repetitive.
• 11:40
  But
• 11:40
  don't
• 11:41
  overthink
• 11:41
  these
• 11:41
  things.
• 11:42
  Don't
• 11:42
  build
• 11:42
  out
• 11:42
  a
• 11:43
  whole
• 11:43
  plan
• 11:43
  today.
• 11:43
  Just
• 11:44
  see
• 11:44
  yourself
• 11:45
  the
• 11:45
  way
• 11:45
  a
• 11:46
  future
• 11:46
  employer
• 11:46
  might
• 11:47
  see
• 11:47
  you.
• 11:49
  Not
• 11:49
  through
• 11:49
  the
• 11:49
  lens
• 11:49
  of
• 11:50
  what
• 11:50
  you
• 11:50
  should
• 11:50
  have
• 11:50
  had,
• 11:51
  but
• 11:51
  through
• 11:51
  the
• 11:52
  lens
• 11:52
  of
• 11:52
  what
• 11:52
  you
• 11:52
  can
• 11:53
  actually
• 11:53
  do.
• 11:53
  Because
• 11:54
  that
• 11:54
  is
• 11:54
  what's
• 11:55
  making
• 11:55
  people
• 11:55
  survive
• 11:56
  in
• 11:56
  today's
• 11:57
  and
• 11:57
  actually
• 11:58
  thrive
• 11:58
  in
• 11:58
  today's
• 11:59
  economy,
• 11:59
  is
• 11:59
  here's
• 12:00
  what
• 12:00
  I
• 12:00
  can
• 12:00
  do
• 12:01
  for
• 12:01
  your
• 12:01
  company.
• 12:03
  That's
• 12:03
  what
• 12:03
  I
• 12:03
  want
• 12:03
  you
• 12:03
  to
• 12:04
  focus
• 12:04
  in
• 12:04
  on
• 12:04
  today.
• 12:05
  But
• 12:05
  let's
• 12:06
  get
• 12:06
  to
• 12:06
  our
• 12:06
  Bible
• 12:06
  verse.
• 12:07
  It
• 12:07
  comes
• 12:07
  to
• 12:07
  us
• 12:07
  from
• 12:08
  the
• 12:08
  book
• 12:08
  of
• 12:08
  Philippians,
• 12:09
  chapter
• 12:09
  4,
• 12:10
  verses
• 12:10
  11
• 12:11
  and
• 12:11
  12.
• 12:13
  Not
• 12:13
  that
• 12:13
  I
• 12:13
  was
• 12:13
  ever
• 12:14
  in
• 12:14
  need,
• 12:15
  for
• 12:15
  I
• 12:15
  have
• 12:16
  learned
• 12:16
  how
• 12:16
  to
• 12:16
  be
• 12:16
  content
• 12:17
  with
• 12:17
  whatever
• 12:17
  I
• 12:18
  have.
• 12:19
  I
• 12:19
  know
• 12:19
  how
• 12:19
  to
• 12:20
  live
• 12:20
  on
• 12:20
  almost
• 12:20
  nothing
• 12:21
  or
• 12:21
  with
• 12:22
  everything.
• 12:23
  I
• 12:23
  have
• 12:23
  learned
• 12:24
  the
• 12:24
  secret
• 12:24
  of
• 12:24
  living
• 12:25
  in
• 12:25
  any
• 12:25
  and
• 12:26
  every
• 12:26
  circumstance,
• 12:28
  whether
• 12:28
  well
• 12:28
  fed
• 12:29
  or
• 12:29
  hungry,
• 12:30
  whether
• 12:30
  living
• 12:31
  in
• 12:31
  plenty
• 12:31
  or

• 12:33
  I

  want
• 12:33
  you
• 12:33
  to
• 12:33
  think
• 12:34
  about
• 12:34
  Paul.

• 12:37
  prison.
• 12:38
  Yes,
• 12:38
  prison.
• 12:40
  He
• 12:40
  was
• 12:40
  facing
• 12:41
  execution.
• 12:42
  And
• 12:42
  I'm
• 12:42
  not
• 12:42
  making
• 12:43
  later
• 12:43
  where
• 12:43
  you

  are.
• 12:43
  But
• 12:44
  he

  on
• 12:44
  a

• 12:45
  shift
• 12:45
  for
• 12:45
  the

• 12:47
  And
• 12:47
  he

  said
• 12:48
  something
• 12:48
  radical.
• 12:49
  He
• 12:49
  said,
• 12:50
  I've
• 12:50
  learned
• 12:50
  how
• 12:50
  to
• 12:50
  live
• 12:51
  in

  circumstances

  and
• 12:56
  now
• 12:56
  I'm
• 12:57
  happy.
• 12:57
  He
• 12:57
  never
• 12:57
  said
• 12:57
  that.
• 12:58
  He
• 12:58
  said,
• 12:58
  I
• 12:58
  learned

• 13:05
  And
• 13:05
  that's
• 13:06
  what
• 13:06
  this
• 13:06
  Reddit
• 13:06
  question
• 13:07
  is
• 13:07
  all
• 13:07
  about
• 13:08
  right
• 13:08
  now.
• 13:09
  Staying
• 13:10
  stable,
• 13:11
  thinking
• 13:12
  clearly,
• 13:13
  planning
• 13:14
  for
• 13:14
  tomorrow
• 13:14
  while
• 13:15
  managing
• 13:15
  today.
• 13:17
  And
• 13:17
  that's
• 13:18
  not
• 13:18
  small.
• 13:19
  There's
• 13:19
  victory
• 13:20
  in
• 13:20
  that.
• 13:20
  How
• 13:21
  about
• 13:21
  we
• 13:21
  pray
• 13:21
  together?
• 13:22
  Heavenly
• 13:23
  Father,
• 13:23
  I'm
• 13:23
  praying
• 13:24
  for
• 13:24
  the
• 13:24
  person
• 13:24
  listening
• 13:25
  who
• 13:25
  has
• 13:25
  been
• 13:25
  stable
• 13:26
  in
• 13:26
  a
• 13:26
  very
• 13:27
  unstable
• 13:27
  situation
• 13:28
  for
• 13:28
  years.
• 13:30
  And
• 13:30
  you
• 13:30
  know
• 13:30
  the
• 13:30
  risk
• 13:31
  they
• 13:31
  faced,
• 13:32
  the
• 13:32
  risk
• 13:32
  of
• 13:33
  homelessness.
• 13:34
  And
• 13:34
  Lord,
• 13:35
  you
• 13:35
  know,
• 13:35
  they've
• 13:35
  got
• 13:35
  a
• 13:36
  degree
• 13:36
  that
• 13:36
  they
• 13:36
  haven't
• 13:36
  been
• 13:36
  able
• 13:37
  to
• 13:37
  fully
• 13:37
  use.
• 13:38
  And
• 13:39
  you
• 13:39
  know,
• 13:39
  people
• 13:39
  around
• 13:40
  them
• 13:40
  have
• 13:40
  been
• 13:40
  asking
• 13:41
  questions
• 13:41
  and
• 13:42
  they
• 13:42
  feel
• 13:42
  like
• 13:42
  accusations,
• 13:44
  feel
• 13:44
  like
• 13:44
  they're
• 13:45
  going
• 13:45
  to
• 13:45
  give
• 13:45
  up.
• 13:46
  So
• 13:46
  Lord,
• 13:47
  right
• 13:47
  now
• 13:47
  I
• 13:47
  ask
• 13:47
  you
• 13:48
  to
• 13:48
  give
• 13:48
  them
• 13:48
  clarity
• 13:49
  about
• 13:49
  what's
• 13:49
  real
• 13:51
  and
• 13:51
  what's
• 13:51
  that
• 13:51
  lie
• 13:52
  they
• 13:52
  started
• 13:52
  to
• 13:52
  believe
• 13:53
  about
• 13:53
  themselves.
• 13:55
  And
• 13:55
  Lord,
• 13:55
  give
• 13:55
  them
• 13:56
  courage
• 13:56
  to
• 13:56
  make
• 13:56
  one
• 13:57
  small
• 13:57
  strategic
• 13:58
  move
• 13:58
  this
• 13:58
  week.
• 13:59
  Not
• 14:00
  because
• 14:00
  it's
• 14:00
  going
• 14:00
  to
• 14:00
  solve
• 14:01
  everything,
• 14:02
  but
• 14:02
  because
• 14:02
  it
• 14:02
  reminds
• 14:03
  them
• 14:03
  they're
• 14:03
  not
• 14:04
  finished
• 14:04
  yet.
• 14:05
  And
• 14:06
  Lord,
• 14:06
  protect
• 14:06
  them
• 14:07
  from
• 14:07
  despair.
• 14:07
  That
• 14:07
  looks
• 14:08
  reasonable.
• 14:09
  Protect
• 14:10
  them
• 14:10
  from
• 14:10
  that
• 14:10
  thought
• 14:10
  that
• 14:10
  says
• 14:11
  everyone's
• 14:12
  struggling
• 14:12
  so
• 14:12
  I
• 14:12
  should
• 14:13
  just
• 14:13
  stop
• 14:13
  trying
• 14:14
  because
• 14:15
  we
• 14:15
  know
• 14:15
  that
• 14:15
  doesn't
• 14:15
  come
• 14:15
  from
• 14:16
  you,
• 14:16
  Lord,
• 14:17
  and
• 14:18
  help
• 14:18
  them
• 14:18
  to
• 14:18
  see
• 14:19
  what
• 14:19
  they've
• 14:19
  actually
• 14:20
  built.
• 14:21
  Stability,
• 14:23
  resilience,
• 14:24
  that
• 14:25
  ability
• 14:25
  to
• 14:25
  keep
• 14:26
  going.
• 14:26
  Most
• 14:26
  people
• 14:27
  would
• 14:27
  have
• 14:27
  broken.
• 14:29
  And
• 14:29
  Lord,
• 14:30
  most
• 14:30
  of
• 14:30
  all,
• 14:31
  help
• 14:31
  them
• 14:31
  to
• 14:31
  see
• 14:32
  that
• 14:32
  next
• 14:32
  step
• 14:33
  doesn't
• 14:33
  have
• 14:33
  to
• 14:34
  be
• 14:34
  big,
• 14:35
  it
• 14:36
  just
• 14:36
  has
• 14:36
  to
• 14:36
  be
• 14:36
  one
• 14:36
  foot
• 14:37
  in
• 14:37
  front
• 14:37
  of
• 14:37
  the
• 14:37
  other.
• 14:39
  And
• 14:39
  we
• 14:39
  ask
• 14:39
  this
• 14:39
  in
• 14:40
  Jesus
• 14:40
  name,
• 14:41
  Amen,
• 14:44
  friends,
• 14:44
  you're
• 14:44
  not
• 14:45
  broken.
• 14:46
  The
• 14:46
  truth
• 14:47
  is
• 14:47
  the
• 14:47
  economy
• 14:47
  has
• 14:48
  changed
• 14:48
  and
• 14:48
  there's
• 14:48
  a
• 14:49
  difference
• 14:49
  there.
• 14:51
  Your
• 14:51
  next
• 14:51
  move
• 14:51
  is
• 14:52
  available.
• 14:52
  It
• 14:52
  might
• 14:52
  not
• 14:53
  be
• 14:53
  obvious,
• 14:54
  but
• 14:54
  it's
• 14:55
  there.
• 14:56
  So
• 14:56
  I
• 14:56
  want
• 14:56
  to
• 14:56
  encourage
• 14:56
  you
• 14:57
  again,
• 14:57
  separate
• 14:58
  the
• 14:58
  facts
• 14:58
  from
• 14:58
  the
• 14:59
  story
• 14:59
  you've
• 14:59
  been
• 14:59
  telling
• 15:00
  yourself.
• 15:01
  Know
• 15:01
  that
• 15:02
  that
• 15:02
  job
• 15:02
  market
• 15:02
  is
• 15:03
  genuinely
• 15:03
  harder
• 15:04
  than
• 15:04
  it
• 15:04
  was
• 15:04
  before,
• 15:05
  than
• 15:05
  it
• 15:05
  was
• 15:05
  when
• 15:05
  your
• 15:06
  parents
• 15:06
  or
• 15:06
  your
• 15:06

• 15:07

  little

  homework.

• 15:16
  your

• 15:17

• 15:17
  will

  when
• 15:19
  you
• 15:19
  start
• 15:19
  doing
• 15:20
  those

  things,
• 15:22
  you're
