SPECIAL GUEST: @JoeyMoose "MOOSE" - Talking Crypto, Memes, $UFD and $PENGU · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:01
Today, we're joined by a very special guest.
0:04
He's a rising star in the world of Web Three.
0:07
Everybody's talking about him. And I met him in Paris, France,
0:11
when I went to the Ledger Open event.
0:14
He was the very first person I met.
0:16
And little did I know that I would go all the way to Paris
0:19
and the first thing I would meet is a moose.
0:22
Moose. Welcome to Ron's basement.
0:25
Thanks for having me here man. Oh, my God, what a pleasure.
0:29
Cannot believe it that we met in Paris.
0:32
I think you were one of the first people I met in Paris.
0:34
It was insane. It was like I, I didn't know
0:36
what I was doing. I didn't know where I was.
0:38
And I look, I'm like, I know you.
0:41
And you're like, I know you. And I'm like, escape each other.
0:43
A hug is incredible. And now we're here.
0:46
Thanks. Yeah, it was, it was an it was a
0:48
great experience. It was an overwhelming
0:50
experience. And look, I'll just be
0:53
completely honest, I was pretty nervous going into this
0:55
incredible environment at Ledger and standing there and it really
1:00
was great to meet you. I mean, from the very first
1:03
minute I met you, I just sensed that you were a good guy, a
1:06
great guy, and you kind of helped put me at ease a little
1:10
bit Moose that, you know, that there were good people there.
1:12
And then, of course, we met just a whole unbelievable number of
1:16
other great people that work for Ledger and that were there for
1:19
the big open event and the Nano Gen. 5 unveiling.
1:23
So yeah, crazy isn't it? It's really crazy because you're
1:27
right, I was also very uncomfortable in the beginning,
1:29
right? I'm in a different country.
1:31
I've never been there before. I'm there for a crypto event.
1:33
I don't know who's there. I don't know one person that's
1:35
going to be there ends up being I get put in a group, our group,
1:39
because what happened was his Ledger showing us for people
1:42
that don't know, we got, we got flown out there by Ledger.
1:44
We're affiliates with Ledger and they fly us out there and we
1:48
don't know who we're seeing, what's going on, but they want
1:49
to show us this property that they have.
1:51
They have, I think that's their HQS and they have different
1:55
floors of different stuff that basketball courts.
1:57
They have a whole downstairs with lasers.
2:01
And it's just the craziest phenomenon.
2:02
And that there's different like liaisons that are like that have
2:06
groups of people, right? So like we're part of a group
2:08
and it's me, Ron, GG Crypto, a Tiffany Fang right from from
2:17
Twitter, the crypto king, that guy that wins their award, the
2:20
streaming awards. The Professor.
2:23
Professor Crypto. Professor Crypto, Professor
2:25
Crypto, right. And we're all like so diverse
2:27
and different in all different ways.
2:29
We're all from different places and, and we're all a squad and
2:33
we're taking going on, going down.
2:34
You're checking things out. It was so fun, man.
2:37
Yeah. But but you know what?
2:39
Then the entire group of people that you just mentioned, when I
2:42
look back at it, they were all really, and I say this all the
2:46
time, but they were all really good, nice quality people.
2:49
And I mean, from all over the world, all diverse backgrounds.
2:53
I mean, you got me. I'm kind of like the grandpa of
2:56
crypto, right? You've got I'm wearing my button
2:59
down Oxford shirt. You've got people that are
3:01
wearing, you know, probably socks that are that are they
3:04
cost more than my entire outfit. But we we all got together and
3:08
it was just a wonderful time. And I think I think it's a good,
3:12
a good sign for crypto in general.
3:14
It was. It was super cool.
3:17
Yeah, it was cool to see people that I communicate with or that
3:21
I have communicated with or somebody who I watched, like I
3:23
watched your streams, I've watched what you've done.
3:27
I've kept up with your story and seeing you in person and being
3:30
part of your group and having fun and talking and talking for
3:35
a really long time. We were with each other the
3:36
entire day, the entire few days. You see a different side and
3:42
it's cool. It's this crypto space.
3:45
It's like I used to play Xbox when I was younger and I used to
3:47
become friends with random people.
3:50
Yeah, across the world. And it's like, imagine meeting
3:52
these people that like whatever that you speak to or that you
3:54
interact with. It's so cool.
3:56
It's it's amazing. Yeah.
3:58
And to be there for like this, unbelievable.
4:01
I mean, Ledger's a first class company.
4:03
I mean, that was like just an unbelievable event that they put
4:06
on unveiling the new Nano Gen. 5 and just in scene like just
4:13
being part of something that I don't know, it was almost like a
4:16
movie. But but walking away and feeling
4:20
like this is, you know, there's good thing.
4:22
There are good things going on in crypto.
4:24
And the other thing, you know, you mentioned the dungeon.
4:26
I like to call that the basement.
4:28
I felt most comfortable when I was down there.
4:30
I don't know why, you know, down in the basement of that
4:32
building. Yeah, but but the roof as well.
4:36
And we won't go up. But I mean, they have this
4:37
rooftop deck that is like, it's like the one of the tallest
4:40
buildings in that central district of Paris.
4:44
And you can like see the entire city.
4:46
I mean, it's just was just absolutely incredible.
4:49
Yeah, I got to say, I mean, listen, if we're being
4:51
transparent, there's stuff going on with Ledger.
4:53
It's not. There's like things every day
4:55
I'm reading something about Ledger.
4:57
Yeah. These guys treated us like
4:58
family. They actually have an insane
5:02
operation going on. Like we saw it live.
5:04
We. Got this.
5:05
People actually working on the chips downstairs, how it works,
5:09
the people involved, the different partnerships that
5:12
they're making, like the store that they have within their
5:14
building, like they have a store within their building.
5:16
It's insane, honestly, we got to see your first answer.
5:19
We have a different side. So like if there's fun, if
5:21
there's this, we got to see like really what goes on, you know,
5:25
behind it all. And I love working with Ledger,
5:27
to be honest. Like that's one of my favorite
5:29
partnerships I have. Yeah, Yeah, they are.
5:31
They are awesome. So I introduced you as a rising
5:36
star shooting star in very becoming a very influential
5:40
person in the world of Web three.
5:42
I know that. And I have the big Penguin back
5:44
there, the pengu. I know you're you're involved
5:46
with Pengu. Tell us for my audience, tell us
5:50
about you and your your your journey that got you to where
5:55
you are today and kind of what you're doing now.
5:58
And then later I'm going to ask you about your thoughts on
6:00
crypto in general, meme coins, NFTSI know you're involved in.
6:04
So we got a lot of great stuff to talk about.
6:06
But, you know, let's say, let's say I met your it's your wife,
6:10
correct? That was with you.
6:12
Yes. Yeah.
6:13
Let's say your wife's at lunch with her friends.
6:16
OK. Her girlfriends and all the
6:19
girls are bragging about their husbands.
6:21
What? What?
6:22
What She what? What is she saying to her
6:24
friends? So go ahead and brag for a
6:26
little bit about Joey Moose. What?
6:27
What's she telling her friends about Joey?
6:29
I want to ask you the same question.
6:31
By the way, I'm asking that question back to you.
6:34
Because we get well, you know, that's OK because I have
6:36
upstairs Susie. She communicates on
6:38
walkie-talkie. I'm due, I'm due for some
6:42
compliments. So go go ahead, Moose.
6:45
That's incredible. If she actually responds to you
6:47
I will be in awe. I'd be.
6:49
In awe. Oh, hold on, Susie.
6:51
Are you there? Over you.
6:53
Have to say over. Uh oh.
6:56
Her batteries are going dead, so I'll have to get some new
6:58
batteries for her. Yeah, her batteries.
7:02
Oh, man, I'm, I'm not prepared. I'll get I'll get some new
7:05
batteries. Go ahead, Moose.
7:06
Tell me, Tell me about what do I brag about Moose for a few
7:09
minutes? I don't know what she's saying.
7:13
OK, funny enough, I think that I'm really close with my wife
7:17
and I'm really transparent with her.
7:19
Like I don't really like hide anything.
7:20
Like, you know, if I if I win, if I lose, I say the numbers.
7:24
Like I think that I got to a point where she's kind of like
7:28
my, my like she's my supporter. Like she's not like in the
7:33
beginning of a relationship, you have to think like, oh, like you
7:36
got to be careful numbers that you say, like certain things,
7:39
high expectations, low expectations.
7:40
Oh, I lost this amount. What's wrong with you?
7:42
Look, I told her I'm like recently I was like, I lost a
7:46
lot of money gambling like and I showed it to her and she wasn't
7:51
like, what are you doing? Like I would expect that like,
7:54
what do you do? Like a parent, like you're
7:56
messing your life up. You're this, she's like, all
7:59
right, You're you're you're going to, you know, you got
8:01
this. Let's go.
8:02
You got where you are because of who you are.
8:04
Don't lose it. Don't make mistakes.
8:06
Let's go lock in. Like she knows what to tell me
8:09
to like keep me going and motivate me.
8:11
What she says behind closed doors, I don't know because it's
8:15
because it's, it's such AI don't even know how she explains this
8:18
to people. But I'd be lying if I say she
8:20
doesn't understand what I do because she does.
8:22
Yeah. It's hard to explain to anyone
8:24
what I do. My friends, they say I'm in a
8:26
group chat with like I'm in a group chat with like 20 be 25
8:29
friends from like school. And they all, they say all the
8:32
time they're like, we need to have something called career day
8:35
where we all get together at a restaurant and everybody
8:38
explains what they do. And we're doing this
8:40
specifically for Moose because we all don't understand what he
8:42
does. We don't understand what he
8:44
does. And I'm like, sometimes I don't
8:45
even understand what I do It's crazy.
8:48
It's it's funny. It's funny you say that because
8:51
I completely relate. And like I was talking to my
8:55
uncle yesterday, he's been his 70s and he said, I know you're
8:58
really busy with that Bitcoin thing that you're doing.
9:01
You know, that's what like a lot of people say they think crypto
9:03
and they think Bitcoin and I'm like, yeah, it's keeping me real
9:06
busy. So definitely I relate.
9:09
They think you created Bitcoin. Yeah, I wish.
9:12
Yeah, right. They're like, which coin did you
9:15
launch? And I'm like, Oh my God.
9:17
Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, yeah.
9:19
That's funny because I call UFD baby Bitcoin.
9:21
But yeah, it's it's very it is challenging and you know, I'm 55
9:25
years old and you're, you're probably in your 20s still is
9:28
that I'm. 27. 27, yeah. And like, dude, when I was 27,
9:33
that's almost 30 years ago, the thought of doing what I'm doing
9:37
now, that didn't exist, right? I mean, I always tell people
9:41
like, we are really lucky right now because #1 the technology,
9:45
right? You're in New York, right?
9:47
Is that correct? Yeah.
9:49
Yeah, you're in New York. I'm in a basement in Saint Louis
9:52
and we're broadcasting, I mean, the people all over the world.
9:56
I mean, you know, I'm telling you, like, I don't think we
9:58
realize how lucky we are just to be able to do that.
10:01
And then on top of that, we've got the world of crypto and
10:04
communities. I mean, I know you're building
10:06
and I want to hear all about it, right?
10:08
Like a really awesome community that we can build, these
10:11
communities that create real value.
10:13
And and then on top of that, we have the crypto thing, which is,
10:16
I mean like we're, I'm telling you Moose, we're on the leading
10:19
edge. We're, we're on the leading
10:21
edge. And it's funny, I know you said
10:23
that if you would have 30 years ago or whatever it is, how about
10:26
this four years ago or five or six years ago?
10:28
Yeah. I, I, I had, I had no idea.
10:31
I was like, what? What this was.
10:33
I had no idea I was capable of doing any of this stuff.
10:36
I was some kid that knew nothing.
10:39
And you know, I was striving and I was always a kid that I always
10:43
just wanted to have fun and never prioritize studies or work
10:46
or how to work ethic or, you know, knew how to handle my
10:50
money the right way or, and I just it's crazy.
10:53
It's it's all just it's why the opportunities we've gotten.
10:56
So and also you and what you've completed and, and you doing
10:59
tech and sending me stream yard links and your friends probably
11:02
and your uncle have no idea that they probably think you're a
11:05
wizard, a tech wizard. Well, any, anyone who's been
11:09
around UFD for the last year knows that it's kind of a
11:12
running joke. I'm not a tech wizard, but I've
11:15
learned, right? And there's so much fun.
11:17
And you kind of talked about yourself like four or five years
11:20
ago. It's fun to learn and it's fun
11:23
to grow these communities. I mean, that's where the real, I
11:27
mean the communities. And again, I know you've got a
11:29
huge community, 130,000 followers.
11:32
I got to remember later to pull up your ex profile so everybody
11:35
can follow you. But I mean, you've got a huge
11:38
following going. It's, you know, we really are.
11:40
I tell you what, Moose, and not to go too far down this path,
11:43
but I feel like the the position that we're in right now, that
11:47
we're us being able to do this is real similar to like when the
11:50
printing press was invented whenever the heck that was 1000
11:54
years ago. Like we are in this like big
11:56
transfer, like people all over the world follow you, right,
12:00
Moose? Like all over the world.
12:01
And you too. Yeah, It's insane, honestly.
12:05
Yeah, yeah, it's insane. I have friends.
12:07
I have friends from Africa, I have friends from Philippines, I
12:10
have friends from the UKI have friends from everywhere.
12:14
You're all all 7 continents. Maybe not Antarctica, but
12:17
there's there's maybe all six continents.
12:21
And you know, it's one of the coolest things because before I
12:23
got into UFD in the crypto, I was a gold and silver YouTube
12:28
for four, three years. You have a ton of silver, right?
12:32
Yeah, I don't keep it at my house, but yeah, I don't.
12:34
I don't have a ton but I have silver.
12:36
Yeah, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry.
12:38
No, you're fine and I don't have a ton, but I do have silver.
12:42
I've always loved silver and gold.
12:44
Really love silver. Primarily, I love silver.
12:46
You told me that's you told me you.
12:48
Love. Yeah, but but what's cool is
12:50
those people are all over the world too.
12:52
Crypto and precious metals are very, very similar.
12:56
I mean, except for the fact that one is 5000 years old and
12:59
physical and crypto is 15 years old and digital.
13:04
But besides that, they're like almost it.
13:06
But to get back to the point, that's so cool is so and gold
13:09
and silver are valuable all around the world, just like
13:12
crypto. So yeah, I've said that before.
13:14
Like I've got people everywhere in the world.
13:17
And I don't say this in a bragging way, but I really
13:19
believe like I could get on a plane, fly anywhere in the world
13:23
and somebody would be willing to like hook up with me, meet up
13:26
with me. And a lot of them.
13:27
And they've offered. I'm like, you could stay at my
13:29
house. I mean, it's like, it's it's
13:31
real relationships that we're building.
13:33
I'm gonna go get batteries. Moose, you keep talking.
13:36
I know you have a gift for gabs of the state.
13:38
I'll be right back. Take me one second.
13:40
Go ahead, don't worry, I'll hold down the Fort.
13:42
Guys, you got to notice something if you're here, if
13:44
this is, if you're from my community or in UFDI, got to
13:47
meet Ron for myself. This guy and my, my wife
13:51
Mousette, she, I, I, I told her I'm like, oh, I have something.
13:54
I have something in the morning last night.
13:56
I told her and she's like, hey, let's go.
13:59
I told chef, that's chef. I told Moussette, I said, I have
14:03
something in the morning tomorrow.
14:04
And then it clicked and I was like, Oh yeah, I'm, I'm doing it
14:06
with Ron's basement. She goes Ron from Paris.
14:08
They go, yeah, she goes, I love him.
14:09
That guy's a heart of gold. And I'm like, yes, so there.
14:14
You're you make a great impressions on everybody and
14:18
your sweetness is is it's actually infectious how sweet
14:23
you are and it makes other people want to want to be like
14:25
you. And I think that, you know, I
14:28
hope to be like you. I really.
14:29
Do you know Moose? One thing I've learned over my
14:34
years is like the importance of just being honest, having
14:38
integrity and treating people the way that I want to be
14:41
treated. And it's real simple to live
14:43
that way and it feels a lot better.
14:46
That's a big compliment that you gave me and I appreciate it.
14:49
And I'll repeat, right? Like you were the first guy that
14:53
I met in Paris at the Ledger headquarters.
14:56
And I immediately felt the same thing.
14:58
I was like this, you know, I could tell that it mean it's
15:01
anybody going into a big event like that.
15:03
I think it's going to be a little nervous.
15:06
And I think, you know, especially it was like the first
15:09
big event like that that I've been to and it was, you know,
15:14
you, you set me at ease right off the bat.
15:16
So it's awesome. Let me paint this setting.
15:19
I I get, we all get there. There's a sign in desk right
15:22
there like crazy about security when you get in there.
15:25
And like, I see like my liaison, the person that's like taking
15:27
care of it and they're on the opposite side.
15:29
And I'm like, yo, could you just get us through?
15:30
And like, no, you have to sign in.
15:31
And, and I'm like, like this whole thing.
15:33
And it's this touchscreen item, Joey.
15:38
And I'm just gonna say that I got to get my wife.
15:41
And I look and I see there's like three of those lines with
15:44
those with those touchscreens in your stay.
15:46
I see a guy 7 feet tall with his briefcase with the, with the
15:50
armor out briefcase standing there, very crazy straight
15:53
posture, just standing there, like wait and like looking
15:56
around. And I'm like, yo, I know that.
15:58
And I told like the liaison, the girl that's like, that's my
16:01
representative for legend. I'm like, that's Ron's basement.
16:03
That's UFT. She goes, yeah, I'll introduce
16:05
you guys and I'm like, yo, I know you and we're in a circle.
16:07
It's me, the girlfriend, Ledger, my wife and Rob.
16:10
We're all in a circle. We're all just looking at each
16:11
other, talking and I'm like, wow, this is insane.
16:14
Like this is. So, yeah, but I brought, I
16:16
brought a briefcase. And on the first day somebody
16:18
said why'd you bring a briefcase?
16:20
What's in the briefcase? And I'm like, I don't know why I
16:22
brought it. I never opened it, but I carried
16:26
it around all day long. Yeah.
16:31
We were on our feet, man. We didn't.
16:32
There was no breaks. We were.
16:34
We were, really. Yeah, we learned learning,
16:37
learning. Absolutely.
16:38
So, So how did you get here? Moose?
16:41
How long have you been in web three?
16:43
Give us a little rundown on your your story, your journey, and I
16:47
think people would be interested to hear because you've been
16:50
wildly successful. And then later I want to ask you
16:54
about when you met Mr. Beast. I think that's a great story.
16:56
And I got some other questions for, but how did you, how did
16:58
you get here? For sure, man.
17:02
Yeah. I honestly like, I, I always
17:04
thought like I always had this kind of like, I'd like to say
17:08
like, well, I have like really crazy ADHD.
17:11
And. It it comes with energy, I
17:13
guess. And my whole life I always just
17:16
wanted to just do different shit and dip my feet in different
17:18
places and go different spots and meet different people.
17:21
And I was never ever, ever like satisfied and contained.
17:24
I never went to like, like I, I went to one school my whole
17:29
childhood and then as I went to high school, I changed high
17:31
schools, then I went back to the old school, then I worked for a
17:35
year at another company, Then I went to college, then I, I went
17:38
to a different college to finish it.
17:39
Like I'm always switching. I'm always doing different
17:42
stuff. I'm never just stand at home in
17:44
one position doing the same thing.
17:45
I've had so many different jobs doing different things, trying
17:47
out different things. I love to do different stuff,
17:50
traveling different places. I'm not a routine guy at all.
17:53
My, I don't know what I'm doing tomorrow.
17:55
I don't know what I was doing doing yesterday.
17:56
I don't know what I'm doing today, and that's kind of the
17:59
life I live. It's pros and cons.
18:03
And I guess when I saw about the digital, it was NFT top shot.
18:07
Sorry, it was NBA top shot like I was like, oh, digital moments.
18:09
These are so cool. Let me get involved in this and
18:11
I remember seeing it like on the on the timeline and I'm like,
18:13
all right, I feel like if I don't get involved with this,
18:15
I'm going to regret it. And this is cool like stocks and
18:18
this and that I'm like, I don't want to be behind like I put
18:21
your brand to use like find out how to use this.
18:23
I remember watching the YouTube video.
18:24
What's NBA top shot? What is this NFT thing?
18:27
Boom, got involved, made my own Joey Moose account and the rest
18:32
is history. I, I started showing up, I
18:34
started, I started going to events, I started talking with
18:37
people. I started with Twitter Spaces
18:39
and honestly, less than a year ago, a few months ago, I said,
18:43
you know what, let me live stream.
18:44
I never thought I'd be good at that.
18:46
I got a $15 camera from Amazon and I put it on top of my
18:50
computer was Logitech. And you were doing it before
18:52
everybody, by the way. I, I did it and I started the
18:57
first thing I did was on abstract, right?
18:59
My first live stream ever. Oh.
19:00
Cool. Yeah, and I had one person show
19:04
up and I'm like, I don't know what to say.
19:05
I don't know what to do. And I'm like, this is horrible.
19:06
And I'm talking to the one person.
19:08
I'm like, yo, I don't think this is for me.
19:10
And I close it. And I was like, I've never live
19:13
streaming in my life. That was horrible.
19:15
And then I said, you know what, let me try it again.
19:17
And somebody's like, I forgot what happened.
19:19
Like I was playing a game on mini clip of one of these fun
19:21
websites. And then I'm like, you know
19:22
what, let me let me have a drink, like grab like a bottle.
19:25
I'm like, all right, this is for.
19:26
And everybody's like, OK, drink chug, chug, chug.
19:28
I started talking and I'm just, I'm just like doing anything.
19:31
And I'm like, all right, you know what?
19:32
Maybe I could entertain some people.
19:34
And the streaming's just been a, a movie ever since.
19:37
Like, I feel like this is the next step is streaming to people
19:41
doing all of this from the comfort of my own home.
19:44
I have a really like crazy setup here.
19:46
I have two monitors. I have a HD camera, I have a
19:49
mic, I have two lights. Like it's a real streaming setup
19:52
and I love it. It's so easy, I'm learning new
19:55
programs to stream on and I love it.
19:59
This is a different kind of life.
20:02
Well, I think people love live streams because they feel
20:06
connected like you and I are connected right now, but there's
20:09
almost 500 people with stream yards telling me that are also
20:14
connected with us right now. And then there's going to be
20:15
thousands of people that watch the, the, the recording of this
20:20
as well. And you know, I love what you
20:22
said also about the $15 Logitech camera, because for like the
20:26
first two years that I made videos and live stream, I
20:29
literally used a $100 Samsung Galaxy S10, I think it was.
20:36
And I still, you'll laugh if you saw my setup.
20:39
My setup is, is this with an old TV monitor and like 6 light
20:44
bulbs that I have to light my, you know, light myself up.
20:47
It's like you don't need, you know, it's great.
20:49
It's like, it's like you can get started with almost anything.
20:52
What people want is to be connected and to relate and to
20:56
hear honesty and just see what people you know, to see what
20:59
we're doing. And I agree with you, man.
21:01
It's, I think it's the coolest thing ever.
21:04
I mean, I think just like we are really lucky and fortunate to be
21:07
able to do it. I mean, look, because of live
21:10
streaming, you and I met, right? I mean, you know, and I'm look,
21:13
we aren't going to sit here and say we're like best friends in
21:15
the world. But I think if I came to New
21:17
York and looked you up, we could hang out for a little bit,
21:20
right? Or if you came to Saint Louis
21:21
and and in the same is true for for everybody out there.
21:25
So yeah. Awesome, you're a few things.
21:28
One it never change your setup. I love it.
21:30
You're, you got the coolest, most authentic set up.
21:33
It's your lure. It's always got to be this way.
21:36
Don't get any more, don't get any HD cameras.
21:38
Leave everything the way it is. The next thing is, is that 100%?
21:43
If you ever come to New York, I'm there without a doubt.
21:46
You, you have a place by me. We could go out for dinner, we
21:49
could go out for drinks. You could bring your wife, bring
21:51
your kids, whatever it is. I'd love to go out with all of
21:53
us. And the next thing is, is was,
21:59
Oh, yeah, It was. The funniest thing was when we
22:01
were in the Ledger facility, was in Paris, and you were talking
22:05
to one of these people and they're like, oh, where are you
22:06
from? And they're like, they were
22:07
foreign. And you're like, oh, St.
22:10
Louis. The guy's like, yeah, yeah.
22:13
He shook his head. And I'm like, that guy has no
22:14
idea what that is. Yeah.
22:16
He's never heard of that in his life, but Saint Louis is.
22:21
You know, yeah, some, some, some people, when I say the arch,
22:24
they're like, Oh yeah, I've heard of the arch, right?
22:27
The gate, the gateway, the gateway to the West.
22:30
What about Pudgy? Is that was Pudgy Penguins?
22:33
Was that like a big part of your of your journey and kind of
22:38
getting you to where you are now is that?
22:40
Yeah, it all started with a viral moment.
22:42
I had a stream yesterday. I really got into depth about
22:45
it. I'll I'll, I'll say it in a in a
22:47
quick one. I basically got a pudgy Penguin
22:49
when NFTI got it. Started getting involved in all
22:51
these NFTS way early. And I got into Twitter Spaces
22:54
and I started to cry in the Twitter spaces saying I am I
22:58
Penguin, am I Penguin as me. I felt a big connection to my
23:00
Penguin. That's right.
23:01
That's right there. And I, I love my Penguin so
23:04
much. It was like a 15 minute rant, a
23:06
very passionate rant. And it got clipped the next day
23:10
and it went viral. And all these big Twitter
23:12
accounts at the time, I didn't have my Twitter account.
23:13
I didn't never, I didn't make that yet all these big accounts
23:16
started saying, who is this kid? Everybody wanted to find out who
23:18
is this kid that's going nuts about a freaking NFT?
23:21
This guy's nuts. There's a cult.
23:22
It started getting all over platforms.
23:25
I got felt very embarrassed the next day, but then I said, you
23:28
know what, let me turn this into something.
23:30
And I created my account and I wrote this is for my Penguin.
23:33
And that was my first Joey Moose.
23:35
My name is Joey. My friends always call me Moose.
23:38
So yeah, I named it Joey Moose and boom from there.
23:42
I was a big community member with Pudgy Penguins and once
23:46
Luca Nets bought Pudgy Penguins that day that he bought it, he
23:50
reached out to me and he was like, Yo, we need somebody on
23:51
our team that's passionate, that can help us, that can, that's
23:54
been there that knows the lore that like is, is a, is a guy
23:58
and, you know, been working with pudgy Penguins ever since.
24:01
I used to go on their retreats. I used to go to their strategy
24:04
meetings every day. We used to do spaces all the
24:07
time. I talk, talk to Luca on the
24:09
regular. Like these were like, you know,
24:11
that's, that's just, yeah, that's, and that really helped
24:14
me in the beginning. That was my first like real job
24:17
in the crypto space. I had a salary with them and
24:20
yeah, it's, it's, it's been incredible ever since.
24:23
Now I have a bigger role in Pingu and, you know, trying to
24:26
push out the message and helping out with strategy and all that
24:29
stuff. I see people are making fun of
24:31
my, my Mason jar in the chat. I just opened up the chat.
24:35
The chat's really active, man. And you got.
24:40
So, so you were you were you were involved with with Pudgy
24:44
Penguins before Luca bought it. Is that is that accurate?
24:47
Yeah, right. When they came out, I wasn't, I
24:49
was, I was never like employed by them.
24:51
But once they came out, like I was always in the discord, I was
24:54
always joining spaces. I was always like having like
24:57
rants, like really passionate rats in there telling people
25:00
like cold on we're going to the moon, love your Penguin, feel
25:04
your Penguin, do everything that you know, I was just the
25:07
passionate voice. And then once Luca got involved,
25:10
like he needed to have some assets and he needed to just
25:13
make some some moves. And that's when when things got
25:16
more serious. Yeah, yeah.
25:17
Well, Luca, I've talked to him a few times and actually let me
25:22
back up. When I first created Unicorn
25:24
Fart Dust, I had no idea there was an experiment.
25:27
You know, I won't go into the details of that.
25:29
Most, a lot of people know it already.
25:31
I knew nothing about crypto. I knew nothing about meme coins.
25:34
But I'd created a meme coin and somebody sent me a video, an
25:39
interview with Luca. And I remember I was laying in
25:43
my bed. It was like Unicorn Fart Dust
25:45
was like 4 days old. And I watched this, this
25:49
interview with Luca and I was at this is the honest to God truth.
25:53
I was like, this guy is a genius.
25:55
I didn't know who he was or anything really about pudgy
25:58
Penguins. But I was like, this guy is
26:00
really smart and what he says makes sense about community
26:04
building, about crypto in general, about NFTS.
26:09
And it was one of the like big turning points.
26:12
And and then as a funny story, I'll tell you, you know, I like
26:15
to say, you know, pirates, pirates have parrots on their
26:19
shoulder. But every day when I'm down here
26:20
in the basement, I have a giant pudgy Penguin that may look
26:24
small, but I'm that thing is like the size of a Honda Civic.
26:28
And so one day I get a call. One day I'm where Susie and I
26:31
are here at home and I get a call.
26:33
I have a like APO box at one of those UPS stores.
26:38
And the guy that named Craig, he's like, hey, Ron, this is
26:40
Craig at The UPS Store. He says this is he says this has
26:44
never happened before. And I could tell he was a little
26:47
shaken up. I'm like, well, what's going on?
26:49
You said there's a package for you, but it won't fit through
26:51
the front door of the store. Is there any way you can come up
26:54
here? It was that.
26:57
Big. It was that big.
26:59
I get up and it's like on a wooden crate and this is giant,
27:02
like, what is this? And I open it and like, Oh my
27:04
God, that's a Penguin. And we had to take it off the
27:06
crate. And I have a I'm very proud of
27:08
my Honda Odyssey minivan 2013. We had to like stuff it in the
27:13
back of the minivan and then it sat in our family room for like,
27:17
I mean, it's heavy, Moose, be careful what you wish for.
27:20
I mean, this thing, that thing's heavy and it's that in the, the
27:24
living room. Yeah, whatever.
27:25
For like, I don't know, like 2 months and then finally I'm
27:29
like, let's bring it downstairs. I want to try to find it.
27:31
Susie and I, I almost like broke our backs and got divorced
27:36
during the process of taking that thing down the stuff.
27:39
So anyway, Oh my. God, yeah, I I want one now
27:42
you're making me regret it. I'm in a 750 square foot
27:45
apartment. Like literally make me from here
27:48
to there. This is how this is how big my
27:50
apartment is. I don't know what I would do.
27:51
My wife would kill me if I had that here.
27:52
But I feel like I need it for the culture.
27:54
I'm like it's it's. Crazy.
27:57
You wouldn't be able to move. You would open your, you would
27:59
open your apartment door and and be you'd have about two square
28:02
feet. To get two people, man.
28:05
To get around. All right, tell us about meeting
28:07
Mr. Beast. I want to hear about that
28:09
adventure, if you will. Yeah, yeah, for sure.
28:12
I always had it was like manifested like I'll definitely
28:15
know this guy. I'll talk to this guy.
28:16
I never I never like shut anything out right?
28:18
Like in my head, I'm just like I could do anything.
28:20
I could speak to anyone very easily and I don't know what
28:24
happened. I have notifications on for him
28:26
and because I forgot what it was, he had something and then
28:29
all of a sudden he put a link out and usually you're not
28:32
supposed to click links, but I don't know for some reason I
28:34
clicked the link as soon as possible and it said Beast games
28:38
and he's launched not Beast games.
28:39
He's launching some kind of festival or whatever it is or,
28:43
or, or, or carnival or whatever. So I clicked it and I got
28:47
tickets just in case, like it was just an investment or
28:50
whatever. And then after I bought it, it
28:52
was like 65 bucks. After I bought it, I see that
28:55
it's in Saudi Arabia and I'm like, oh, wow, OK, I'm
28:59
definitely not going to that. So I decided I'm like, OK, how
29:01
can I turn this into a positive thing?
29:03
So I, I, I screenshot and I'm like, all right, let's do this.
29:07
I tweet, I write, I just got tickets and like right away.
29:09
This was within 5 minutes of his post.
29:11
I quote tweeted and I wrote, I just got tickets to Mr. Beast.
29:14
Mr. Beastland, it's in Saudi Arabia.
29:17
I'm not going to go. But if Mr. Beast comments or DMS
29:21
me or replies to this post, I'll I'll go.
29:24
Yeah. He all of a sudden, like
29:26
whenever I'm chilling, like I look at my DMS and I see Mr.
29:30
Beast DM and I'm like, Nah, fake.
29:33
I click it and it's like, yo, Moose come hang out and I'm
29:38
like, what? So I'm like, all right, I don't
29:41
know if I'm doing this. It's crazy.
29:43
Like I don't know if I'm gonna actually do it.
29:44
And then Orangey, he's in the crypto space also.
29:47
I don't know if you've heard of him.
29:49
He also got hit up by Mr. Beast. He did the same thing, right?
29:52
So we both got hit up. We both got connected to his
29:55
intern or whatever his assistant Megan, her name is.
29:58
And RNG tried to convince me to come and I was just like, I'm
30:01
not doing all that. It's crazy.
30:03
It's a, it's a 14 hour flight. We go to Qatar and then we, we
30:06
have one day in Qatar and then we go to Saudi.
30:08
We're there for one day. Also.
30:11
This is crazy traveling. This is so stupid.
30:13
I can't do it. And then I don't know what
30:14
happened. Aren't you called me up?
30:16
And we weren't even really tight, but he called me up and
30:18
he's like, we have to do this. And I was like, I never even met
30:20
him. And I was like, OK, let's do it.
30:23
And I got in a flight with my cameraman.
30:25
He's with his cameraman. We meet up a Qatar and we're
30:30
like, dude, we're here, let's do this.
30:31
And we had an awesome time. We go to Beastland and funny
30:35
enough, we don't have backstage passes.
30:37
We don't have anything. So we go there and we're we're
30:40
there to meet Mr. Beast and the girl Megan goes, sorry, like we
30:43
can't get you backstage passes. We're like what?
30:45
We're we're, we're here and we see Mr. Beast, we see Mr. Beast
30:49
and, and, and there's 10 million people surrounding him all
30:53
running after him. Little kids miss their beast,
30:55
miss their beast, like little kids running.
30:57
It's in Saudi Arabia. So we look at each other being
31:00
orange. We're like, we're screwed.
31:01
We came all the way here. We're screwed.
31:03
There is a no shot. We're seeing him.
31:06
We're saying what's up or anything or meeting the tea.
31:08
Like we came all the way out here like it's impossible.
31:10
And we're talking to Pete and I'm going up to people like
31:12
there's a very few American people, very few.
31:14
It's in Saudi Arabia. So we're going around with
31:16
people with like necklaces that have their ID or whatever on
31:21
them. And we're like, we got reached
31:22
out to like Megan's not answering, like, can you help
31:25
us? Can you hook this up?
31:26
And they're like, sorry, like we can't.
31:28
Like there's he has a meeting this time.
31:30
He's not active, but he's not active at that time.
31:32
Sorry, sorry. And I'm like me and Orange.
31:34
We're like, and we both have our cameraman.
31:36
We spent so much money. We're out there.
31:38
We're like looking at you. We're like, OK, let's go.
31:40
Like we have to go and we were going to leave and RNG writes in
31:44
a group chat. I went to the bathroom.
31:45
He's like, yo, I think I'm going to leave.
31:46
Like I'm I'm calling like I'm I'm I'm I'm booking my flight
31:49
out now and because we don't have a flight back yet and I'm
31:52
like, oh, disaster. And then all of a sudden he
31:54
texted me back as I was walking back to him.
31:56
He goes OMG Megan just texted me.
31:58
OMGOMGOMG. I'm like, what do you mean?
32:00
He's like where? She just texted me.
32:02
She's coming to grab us now and I'm like what?
32:05
She grabs us, she takes us behind.
32:08
What's up? We see Mr. beast.
32:10
We're like, he's like, yeah, I saw you Moose, what's up?
32:14
Oh RGI saw your tweets. Yo, sorry about that.
32:16
It's been crazy, chaotic, blah, blah blah.
32:18
We started talking, we dab up. I'm like, was that you?
32:20
That DME? He's like, yeah, that was me
32:22
100%. Yeah, I saw you.
32:23
We all saw your tweets. Yo, thank you for coming out.
32:26
We had a whole discussion. We spoke for like 5 minutes.
32:30
He was super cool. We got Megan's number.
32:32
He said take, we got Megan and he's like anything you need, we
32:35
reach out to Megan. Maybe we'll do some stuff in the
32:36
future. And we're like, yeah.
32:38
And it was so cool. And it was like we looked me and
32:41
aren't looked at each other. We gave each other a heart like
32:43
God it we did. So he's a massive, he's the
32:47
biggest influencer in the world. It was a crazy connection, you
32:49
know? Yeah, that that's that's that's
32:52
why he must, he must have realized.
32:54
I mean, look, and I'll say it, I won't say it again, I'll say it
32:57
for the third time, but you are like a rising personality within
33:02
the world of Web 3. And I know that Mister Beast is
33:05
big on Web 2. Like I'm, I'm, I'm my success
33:08
initially came on Web 2 as well. And I think that from what I
33:11
understand, and I think I've heard like this, oh, speculation
33:16
that Mister Beast may be getting into some type of crypto related
33:20
venture as well. So that could be, that could be
33:23
really good for crypto because he's got obviously one of the
33:27
biggest communities of people out there that could that could
33:31
be a good, a very good thing for overall crypto adoption rates as
33:35
well. For sure.
33:36
And and I think that I yes. And it was a good connect, just
33:40
a good connection to have. I think that yeah, you know, I
33:43
didn't reach out to anybody yet, whatever.
33:44
But maybe down the line, Megan reaches out to me.
33:47
Is, is hey, we want to get you for a video or hey, we want to
33:49
do this. Hey, we want, you know, we're in
33:50
New York. I don't know.
33:51
So what's what's the worst that'll come out of like, I
33:54
sound like a fanboy, like I went out there.
33:55
We got to meet him, Mr. Bean, like my idol.
33:57
But like, everything's connections, everything's
33:59
networking. And if it leads to nothing, I
34:02
think it was a great experience. And that's the kind of way you
34:04
got to go about things in this space and especially in our
34:07
space. Look, what do we do when we're
34:08
now we have to network all day long.
34:10
We have to talk with people. You have to, I have to show up,
34:12
dude, I woke up at 5:30 yesterday to join somebody who's
34:17
on the other side of the world and they wanted to do a stream
34:19
with me and I did it. I woke, I woke up at that time
34:22
and at 5:30. You probably do that every
34:24
morning. But like, you know, I forgot to
34:26
mention I was up until three that night, you know, so it's,
34:30
it's certain things. You have to just say yes to
34:32
everything and just do stuff. I realized like.
34:34
Yeah, yeah, it's, it's one of the downfalls, the only downfall
34:39
of crypto and what we're doing being on a worldwide basis is
34:44
trying to schedule live streams with people in Australia that
34:47
that's always where it's, it gets very difficult.
34:50
I'm like, wait a minute, there's no way there's it's going to be
34:53
at the craziest hour no matter what.
34:56
What are your thoughts on community?
35:00
I think you've obviously have a, a deep experience with the, with
35:05
the pudgy Penguin community, pengu community.
35:08
What are your thoughts on, I mean, I hear it all the time
35:11
and, and now I've I've experienced it and I agree with
35:14
it, right? Like crypto is all about
35:16
community. Any observations as you've been
35:20
in this now for a couple years about community building?
35:23
What's important, what's critical for building a good
35:25
community? So what's crazy is, is that I'm
35:29
looking at your chat and your comments, right?
35:33
And you have your, you have your own community, right?
35:36
This is your own community from YouTube that's commenting.
35:38
That's all they're talking to each other about Mason jars.
35:41
They're having fun, they're saying run, they're call,
35:43
they're talking about certain things.
35:46
And and you know, as we know, a community is so important.
35:48
And when you when you're part of a community, and obviously we
35:51
have responsibilities, right? If we, one singular person can
35:55
keep a community together or make community, right?
35:58
And and that keeps people together and that makes people
36:00
happy and that gives people an outlet.
36:03
And when they're having a hard time or a lot of things, even
36:05
when I'm having a hard time, I come to my community or I post
36:08
them and I speak to someone, I talk in the DNS.
36:10
A community is very important. It was very, it's very important
36:13
as an individual ourselves to keep going and to keep making
36:17
our community because it's easy to start a community.
36:19
It's, how do you keep this community going and how do you
36:22
keep whether it's rewarding or whether it's talking or whether
36:26
it's keeping up with community is very important to, to have.
36:31
And it's, it's a, like a body system, it's a support system.
36:35
It's, it's, it's, it's friends, it's community.
36:40
It's, it's, that's community and it's, it's, it's important to
36:42
have and it's essential for everything.
36:44
It's essential for success. It's essential for mental, it's
36:46
essential for for to to live a good life in my opinion.
36:50
Yeah, it is the one. That started it.
36:52
Yeah, it it, it, it is. I think it's not just in crypto,
36:58
but it's critical in crypto. But really I think just in life
37:01
in general, like community really is everything.
37:05
There's really nothing without the sense of connection being
37:08
part of something. And people want that, right?
37:11
They want a place where they can feel safe, where they can feel
37:14
like they belong, where they feel like they have emotional
37:18
connections. And I say it all the time,
37:21
Moose, like, you know, like I'm the dev of UFD officially right,
37:25
The boomer, they call me the boomer based dev or whatever the
37:28
heck it is. I'm not really even a boomer.
37:30
I'm like a few years behind that.
37:32
But but like I I look at myself as being part of the community,
37:39
right, Like I'm like AI heard somebody explain it once like
37:42
it's a bunch of like nodes on a network and we're all connected
37:45
together and there's so much power in that right.
37:48
I mean, it's bizarre because like when I when I think about
37:53
Unicorn fart dust, it was $100 that I bought half a Solana with
37:58
at the time I launched a coin on pump fun.
38:01
It was nothing. I mean, it was one of it was one
38:04
of 20 million cryptos. We are 15,000,000 meme coins
38:09
that were created whatever without the community.
38:12
I mean, it was like this powerful force from the very
38:15
beginning when people recognized it, that, that, that created
38:20
everything that it is. Now I do my part, right?
38:22
I live stream and you know, I but the reality is like I'm just
38:27
part of this community and it's like there's so much power in
38:31
people coming together. I mean, I think if you look
38:35
back, not to get go too far down this path, but if you looking
38:38
back over human history, anything big that's ever been
38:40
accomplished is because of people coming together, right
38:43
with a joint mission, a joint purpose.
38:45
And it's, and again, with crypto now in Web 3, it's like it
38:51
allows us to kind of turbocharge it, if that makes sense, and to
38:55
help people and then I'll shut up.
38:56
But but you know, people around the world are reporting that
39:00
they feel more isolated than ever, lonely than ever.
39:04
And it gives people, it's really a good thing, right?
39:06
It's heartwarming that for all of us to be able to be part of
39:10
our organic families. But then these community
39:13
families, they come up as well. How about this?
39:16
Well, two things. One, I'm a duster myself.
39:19
I. Just.
39:20
Oh, all right. You're no Buttercup.
39:24
You ain't no Buttercup. Yeah, so, so I'm part of a
39:30
community there and people think that oh, I'm, I'm part of, I'm
39:34
part of communities myself. Like I just started, I made a
39:36
Reddit account a few months ago so.
39:40
Thank you for your saying move up.
39:41
Susie just said thank you. Susie House.
39:46
Hi, Susie. It's nice to meet you.
39:48
That's upstairs, Susie. She'll give you a high 5 moves
39:50
high 5. You're a legend, Susie.
39:53
You're a legend. Your family's awesome.
39:55
I can't wait to meet you guys one day.
39:58
But yeah, anyway, I, I'm part of communities.
40:02
I love joining communities. I, I, I, I talk to people in
40:06
random and, and people who, who own other communities, people
40:08
who start other communities. I'm a part of, you know, I speak
40:11
to people. I sometimes need that myself.
40:13
And I, I think it's important, you know, and it, and it takes a
40:15
toll also definitely like having a responsibility of, you know,
40:19
putting things like this together and reaching out to me
40:22
and reaching out to someone else and getting special guests on.
40:24
And it's, it's, it's a job. It's it's.
40:26
It's a lot, but as long as you have what it takes, it's fun.
40:29
It's fun along the way, you know, and as long as you love
40:32
what you're doing, it's fun, which is why I woke up.
40:34
If I didn't want to do that, I wouldn't do it.
40:35
I'm loving this, you know. Yeah, yeah, I am too, Moose, and
40:39
you know it. I've live streamed every single
40:41
day for probably three straight years now.
40:45
And people are like, how do you do it?
40:46
How do you come up with stuff to talk about?
40:48
And it is hard. It's work, OK?
40:50
I mean, it's work, no doubt about it, but I always come back
40:54
to the fact that if I didn't really like what I was doing, I
40:58
wouldn't be doing it right. I wouldn't have live streamed
41:00
every day if it wasn't in many ways very rewarding to get to be
41:08
involved with the people. I mean, it's really a super cool
41:13
experience to get to be part of a community.
41:17
And, you know, my part with UFD is live streaming and but
41:20
there's a lot of other people that are doing a lot of work.
41:23
Some of them it a ton of work to make the the whole thing really,
41:28
really happen. So yeah, it's a it's a fun, it's
41:32
a fun experience. What did I forget to ask you,
41:35
Moose, before we say goodbye? The drowning.
41:38
The drowning. Oh, yeah, Moose almost drowned.
41:41
Look, look, I'm a, I'm a, I'm a, I'm a moose lover.
41:46
I'm trying to think of a good word.
41:47
I looked up what's a baby moose? And it's called a calf.
41:49
And I thought, well, I don't want to call myself a calf, but
41:52
I'm part of the moose. I'm part of the Joey moose
41:54
community myself as well because I, I love kind of following you
41:58
on X and, and one day I saw this video of you swimming.
42:02
Tell us the story. You almost drowned, right.
42:04
And a word of caution. A word of caution.
42:07
It was crazy. Honestly, I don't really, I
42:09
really do stuff like that. I'm, I'm, I'm usually like, I
42:11
minimize my risk of stuff. I'm always aware.
42:14
I'm always crossing the street. I'm looking around, even if
42:16
there's a, if there's a guy that I, I look through the window
42:19
when I'm, I live in New York City.
42:20
So like I, I see a car, I look at the guy through the window
42:23
and I make sure he's looking at me while I'm crossing the street
42:25
kind of thing, you know, right. I, I'm always aware.
42:28
But for some reason, this was the most beautiful.
42:30
I was in Anguilla, right? It's right near Saint Martin,
42:33
which is like a really, really nice island.
42:35
I went for Thanksgiving with my wife, Mousset, and I went and I
42:40
saw these beautiful, beautiful waters, the clearest waters you
42:44
could ever see in your life. And I was feeling adventurous
42:47
for the day. I'll show you guys.
42:48
This is the beautiful, the beautiful water there.
42:50
Oh, yeah. My God.
42:51
This is what we approach. Let us look at that for a while,
42:55
Moose. That's beautiful.
42:56
Oh yeah. It was beautiful.
42:58
You have no idea. And what we got, we rented this,
43:02
this it's look at that. We rented this car.
43:05
Yeah. We went to this really desolate
43:07
nobody there, not one person. And I said I need to jump in
43:11
this. I need to jump in this Cove.
43:12
And this is this is the only. I don't know what happened.
43:15
I never do this. Look how look how high that you
43:16
don't understand how high up we are, right.
43:18
So we're we're over here. I'm on this rock over here and
43:22
I'm climbing down the rocks and Moussette's watching and she's
43:24
like, I don't know if I could do that.
43:25
And I'm like, I'm climbing down the rocks and I'm like, I'll get
43:28
back up somehow. And then all of a sudden I'm in
43:30
there and it's beautiful right here.
43:32
Let me. Show you Did you have clothes
43:34
on? Just the bathing suit there.
43:37
Look, this is, this is so you could get for reference, like
43:39
that's my wife standing there in the middle with the white, the
43:41
white over there. That's how this thing.
43:43
Was yeah, yeah. So look this.
43:46
Is so then and then Oh yeah, oh, there you are jumping in and
43:50
then you had an oh shit moment. I never.
43:53
I think this is the first time I've cursed in years.
43:55
Sorry, no proof moment. No, you're good.
43:58
I say, OK, I had my fun. I took my pictures.
44:01
It was insane. Whatever.
44:02
Let me get back up now. And I realized this.
44:04
The rocks are so sharp. Literally, we're going to like
44:07
piercing through my skin. I'm like trying to grab up to
44:10
get and there's no way to get up.
44:11
And I'm looking and my hands have cuts on them, My feet have
44:14
cuts and like deep cuts with bloody cuts.
44:17
And I'm like, Oh my God, I can't get up.
44:19
So my wife likes screaming from the top.
44:21
She's like, OK, swim around the Cove and there's a there's the
44:26
the rocks are lower there. Go all around.
44:28
It's a 5. Swim and I'm Yeah and.
44:31
No, it's OK And I'm swimming and I'm like, Oh my God, what if?
44:34
But what if there's sharks? Like I'm in the middle of the.
44:35
Ocean. And you're bleeding.
44:36
And you're bleeding, by the way, which attracts sharks, Yeah.
44:39
Bleeding. There's no lifeguard.
44:42
There's no lifeguard there. It's, it's literally free for
44:45
all. And if I die, it's, it's, I'm
44:48
dead and I'm swimming and what I'm going, I'm swimming, I'm
44:51
swimming. And like you don't realize after
44:52
5 minutes of swimming in the ocean, you get tired and you,
44:56
there's no trekking in like an ocean.
44:57
There's waves hitting you and the waves are hitting the rocks.
45:00
So the waves are coming at me and I'm like, I'm breathing.
45:03
I'm like, Oh my God. And my waves, come on, you got
45:05
this. Let's go, let's go.
45:06
And I'm like, Oh my God, Oh my God, I'm running out of energy
45:08
and like whatever. Like I have stamina, but like
45:10
I'm going and the waves are hitting me.
45:12
I'm fighting against the waves. Finally.
45:14
I get up, I get, I see the rocks.
45:16
I get up and like, Oh my God, I'm running out of breath.
45:18
I'm like pacing. I've never paced like this in my
45:20
life. Like, yeah.
45:22
And I was like, Mel. I call her Mel.
45:25
I'm like Mel I, I don't think I've ever had a near death
45:28
experience. Close to that, yeah.
45:30
'Cause I don't know if I could have survived 30 more seconds of
45:32
that. Now water is beautiful and I
45:38
understand you wanting to jump in, but you get in the wrong
45:40
situation and water there. You know where I live here in
45:43
Missouri, down here in Missouri, we have a lot of rivers and like
45:47
10s of hundreds of people drown every year in the rivers because
45:51
of the current, right? I mean, the way in the ocean,
45:53
it's the wave. So I'm glad you survived Moose.
45:57
And you know we, we live and learn, right brother?
46:01
Yeah, I'm happy to be alive. I'm happy to tell the story.
46:03
I laugh about it now. It was the most incredible
46:05
experience. I just can't do stupid stuff
46:07
like that because the oceans unforgiving.
46:09
That's what they say. It's beautiful, but it's in one
46:11
second there were boats passing by, right?
46:13
There's boats in the boats are creating these waves yeah at me
46:16
that are hitting these rocks and I'm like Oh my God.
46:19
But yeah, they got them here. I.
46:20
Think, Well, you know, I think we all have experiences like
46:24
that in life and right with the old poop, like, oh, my gosh,
46:28
I've got myself into, you know, a very dangerous situation.
46:32
And hopefully we lived through them like you did gratefully.
46:36
And we learned from our mistakes and move on.
46:39
Right, man? Yeah.
46:40
Amen brother. Susie's the best.
46:42
I see all her messages. Thank you so much.
46:45
And I want to mention I really enjoy meeting your wife as well.
46:48
You call her Mel, is that right? I call her Mel.
46:51
Yeah, but also we set. But Mel.
46:52
Yeah, her name is Mel. Pronounce her first name for me
46:55
again. Melanie, but I call.
46:57
Her Melanie Mousette. She's Mousette.
47:01
So I've been calling her Mousette.
47:02
Nobody really knows Melanie, but like, everybody's on Mousette
47:04
and Mousette. What's up Mousette And.
47:05
You kept saying mousette and I'm like, I thought, I thought maybe
47:10
it was a French name or something.
47:11
I don't know. But.
47:12
So she's the mousette. I love it.
47:14
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I've got upstairs, Suzie, and
47:17
you have the mousette, right? Right.
47:19
We mean Susie better. Than.
47:24
Calling me. Upstairs, Susie.
47:27
Yeah, Susie. Ronette.
47:28
Ronette. Yeah, I'll be Ronette.
47:29
Right, right. Well, you know, I gotta watch it
47:32
cuz she can lock the basement door from the from the upstairs.
47:35
So hey, I want to show everybody quickly your ex profiles.
47:40
They can go follow you. Is it up on the screen?
47:44
Yeah. All right.
47:45
Awesome. There he is right there, guys.
47:47
Moose at Joey Moose and go check him out.
47:51
And man, you put out some. Really.
47:52
I love this one where you you hit the roulette wheel with the
47:56
waitress at the restaurant. That's awesome.
47:59
Yeah. All kinds of great content out
48:01
there. Gosh.
48:03
Anything else I forgot to ask you about Moose before we bid
48:06
farewell? Everyone.
48:07
No, but I hope that we do this again.
48:08
I would love to come on. Oh yeah.
48:10
Man, I would love for you to come on to 1 of mine, maybe do
48:14
the interviews, but I maybe I'll start it up.
48:16
Yeah, no, but that would be great, you know, and I would
48:20
love to have you back on. We've got almost 1000 people
48:23
live with us. 8:30 in the morning.
48:25
Moose, they got up early for you.
48:27
The rising, the rising star in Web three, who I feel really
48:31
fortunate to have been able to meet in Paris, France, but also
48:36
to get to spend this time with today.
48:38
Thank you, man. I appreciate it.
48:40
Dude, you, you, like I said, infectious.
48:43
Your, your positivity, your, your smile, your personality,
48:46
your wife is I'm sure you're a really lucky man.
48:48
Susie seems awesome, but she's also a very lucky woman to have
48:51
you and and your and your children also to have such an
48:54
awesome, sweet human. Yeah, man, you're, you're a
48:58
really good person. And I genuinely really enjoyed
49:00
speaking with you. And I would love to do this
49:02
again for real. Sounds good and the feelings are
49:05
mutual and I'm a see if upstairs Susie wants to say goodbye.
49:09
Susie, you want to say goodbye to Moose over?
