Transcript
- 0:04[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to Three Yards Perkati, a podcast covering the Miami Dolphins and the NFL.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_01]: Now, here's your host, Chris, Alf, and Simon.
- 0:17[SPEAKER_00]: And we're on.
- 0:17[SPEAKER_00]: This is not the camper board.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_00]: This is actually three yards per carry.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_00]: And that is Chris Kaufman's camera going to a ceiling.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_00]: Nice ceiling fan for you audio people.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_00]: You might be hearing him a little bit odd.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_00]: He's working through some mic issues.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_00]: Trust me.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to fix this before the season.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_02]: You know, working through a lot of issues, but the mic is one of them.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he'll fix it.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_00]: Trust me.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_00]: That'll be that'll be in order.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_00]: Before the dolphins make the playoffs, hop out that.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, Dolphins had a joint practice today, Chris Kaufman and as you know, these joint practices are more important than regular season games.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: They're sure more important than preseason games.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: They're more important than playoff games.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_00]: And to be honest with you, I'd rather want to join practice than a Super Bowl.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_00]: So let's say you about what's being told about this joint practice today because
- 1:17[SPEAKER_00]: My god, our timeline is on fire on three hours per carry and I thank you because we've gained a lot of followers because you giant fans are asking me to bow down to the mighty New York Giants today.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_00]: And yes, the giants were good today.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_00]: They were better than the dolphins today especially that dolphins that dolphins today was pretty bad pretty poor.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_00]: I specifically watched Red Zone.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_00]: There was one touchdown on a pass to Devon HN that was called back on a holding penalty and it was a holding penalty that everybody seemed to agree.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_00]: I thought it was on Patrick Paul.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: It seems like the officials say that it was on kid and proctor.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_00]: But that's fine if I think that one guy is holding and they say not another guy held to then yeah That it that eight-hand touchdown shouldn't have happened right and the touchdown on the Giants Then was a dark touchdown that he got tagged by Kyle Lewis so they called it dead So there were no touchdowns on 24 snaps in the red zone for both teams So I thought both offenses were poor.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_00]: I thought the Giants offense was a little bit better
- 2:34[SPEAKER_00]: Dolphins offense, I think, just had the HN run and that nice blitz pick up were Malik hit Malik Washington for a nice game and that was pretty much it for the offense today.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_00]: So what did you make of this?
- 2:50[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you know what I find interesting is that two two joint practices in a row, the
- 2:57[SPEAKER_02]: The the words coming out from onlookers and stuff like that.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_02]: It seems like it seems like two joint practices in a row.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_02]: The sort of individual drills and the seven on sevens and the those types of those types of drills.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_02]: You're just hearing about the dolphins getting dominated.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_02]: in one-on-ones.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_02]: Well, first to be fair, the Washington, you're hearing that from mostly Washington media, mostly Washington fans.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_02]: Because our own media were just kind of mostly silent during that practice and then kind of came back in after the fact that the first impression is already made and so by the time they start saying, well, no, I didn't seem like domination,
- 3:48[SPEAKER_02]: from where they were sitting, you know, the story was already written, so to speak.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_02]: But I think in both, there might be a little bit of a difference between those teams situations and the one-on-one and seven-on-seven things like that, but I think that in both practices, the offensive line path protection was an issue in teams.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_02]: And in both practices, I think in the one-on-ones, they were the difference in talent.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_02]: It becomes apparent, you know, one-on-ones, you got Miami's secondary, which is not a strong secondary on paper, you know, going against, you know, other teams that have legit wide receivers, in this case, like, you know, guys like Malik neighbors and things like that.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_02]: You know, um, although I'm not sure where's he practicing today?
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: I think he intended to practice today, but it didn't matter I say it likely was.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I say it likely.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it was I say it likely a Malachi field where the two the two stars for the chance today Malachi fields interesting But yeah, so I think that I think that in both practices you kind of see that in the indie drills Miami doesn't have a talented roster yet, especially from top to bottom
- 5:09[SPEAKER_02]: You know, they have, they have guys individual players, not a collection of players, so that's going to be glaring, but then, you know, you get into some of these situationals and I think that
- 5:25[SPEAKER_02]: In the situationals at the end of the commander's practice, you know, you had a stop in the red zone, you had a stop in a situational defensively, and I think that you did have some touchdowns against the commanders, and then this one situationally you have really both offenses couldn't get anything going.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_02]: And so, so the Dolphins defense.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_02]: was able to stand up in the red zone, so it was the giant Stevens in the red zone, which is unusual, by the way, you pointed that out, that's, you know, you don't usually go through a whole red zone, and nobody scores touch on it, usually to have something like five touchdowns, you know, like, and one year, and 2022, the dolphins against the, the, the, the bucks, I was at that practice, oh, you know what I believe, and two, oh, is it 11 touchdowns and 15 snaps, and then you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know,
- 6:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it was ridiculous, like, you know, and so yeah, I think that those red zone drills, that is unusual, that is an unusual occurrence, but I think the dolphins are probably going to do better in team all the way around and in situational, but that's not a coincidence because that's how Jeff Huffley, what he is emphasized so far in camp, you know, infamously they're not doing seven on sevens anymore, they're only doing team.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_02]: They're only doing 11 on 11 and so, you know, it's going to be, it's going to be about the full presentation of the, listen, the dolphins aren't going to beat anybody because they just go out there and line up in our more talented.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_02]: I think we know that.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_02]: Don't, this is not a revelation to us.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: Jeff Haffley, Jeff Haffley this morning said, look, we're not trying to outsmart anybody in these practices.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: Well, Jeff, if you want to win games this year, you're going to have to outsmart some people.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_02]: So these are not, these are not game like conditions.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_02]: So if you're wondering, oh, God, we're not even going to win a game this year.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_02]: Or we're not going to win two games this year or something like that.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_02]: Well, by rights from a pure top to bottom, one number one through number 53, there will be a really rough season, as far as, as far as not having any weak links go, you know, the chain is only strong as strong as your weak link.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you know, they might have some players, but they're going to have some weak links.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_02]: And so what it really ends up being this year is going to be about those teams situation teams and situational football because all football is situational football in an actual game.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_02]: and they're just going to have to rise up in those situations are in on the football field during a game when there's game planning when there's you know a lot of other things going on and it's chaos.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_02]: So in these joint practices I'm a little old.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_02]: I've set up before.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_02]: I've been a little over joint practices.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_02]: I have to be honest since the Philadelphia Eagles players were
- 8:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and, you know, spoiler we did not know we did not, they played in it, they played in it.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the Eagles bought it and the Eagles did and they were like we thought we were going to face it off and it's Super Bowl very famously very famously that year was the that was the year that Jalen Phillips was talking trash the Jason Kelsey and Jason Kelsey after practice went up to Jalen Phillips and told them let's do it again in five months We did not do it again in five months So that was a really good football team
- 9:08[SPEAKER_02]: the uh the the jet are not the giant's the um the eels obviously they went to the Super Bowl right here and um the dolphins were not and uh and and so and yet they they came away from joint practice with like wow you know you really and of course all the nonlookers were like the dolphins are dominating the eagles of this product
- 9:29[SPEAKER_02]: Boy, joint practice hasn't meant much of anything to me since then.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I'm telling you, and I said this on our discord.

- 9:53[SPEAKER_00]: Join on a desktop.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_00]: On there, I said, there are lies, there are damn lies, and there are lies from the statistics of a joint practice.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, God, statistics and a joint practice, this is great.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_00]: Today, there was a couple of beat writers that were arguing, one was saying that Jackson Dart was 16 of 22 with an interception, and the other one was saying he was 17 of 21 with an interception.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_00]: Notice neither one said that he had a touchdown.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_00]: But let me explain something to people how you can get stats like that.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_00]: You have a thing called a reset when it's one versus one's they do first down.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_00]: You look at the scoreboard.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_00]: The scoreboard's there for a reason folks.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_00]: The scoreboard will say first and 10.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_00]: Then it'll say second and eight.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_00]: Then it'll say third and six.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_00]: And then it'll say first and 10 again
- 10:49[SPEAKER_00]: That means that they killed the series.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_00]: That means that the defense won that series.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_00]: Meaning that they're not getting a first down, okay?
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: That happened a ton to the giants.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_00]: And there were a ton of times where they were on 13th, 12th, and they were completing passes.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_00]: And remember, it's two-hand touch.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_00]: So they're being tagged off after if six yard completion on 13th, and it's a failure.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: But I will say this.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't know if it's caused for concern.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: We do know that the dolphins do not have a talented roster.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_00]: They have talent in spots like we kind of like a couple of offensive linemen.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_00]: We love A-chan.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: We're excited about a couple of wide receivers.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_00]: We're excited about Malik.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_00]: We like the linebackers.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_00]: So it's spotty, right?
- 11:35[SPEAKER_00]: One thing I did not like today, and I did like from Jackson Dart.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_00]: Dolphins were sending a couple of blitzes off the edge.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_00]: Jackson Dart was being a cat, he had to account for the blitz, and he was handling it, getting the ball out.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_00]: Malik Willis on a couple of occasions, they were running plaques and they were leaving the blitzer alone.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_00]: When was Javan Halen?
- 11:57[SPEAKER_00]: The other one was Drew Phelps.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_00]: Both, I think, got legit sex.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_00]: Now, who knows, maybe in the regular season, Malik Willis shakes off Javan Halen.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_00]: But hey, it's a practice to guys coming in.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_00]: I thought Malik Willis wasn't accounting for the free blitzer all that well today.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_00]: Is that something?
- 12:14[SPEAKER_00]: Cause you've done some more extensive work than most.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_00]: on Malik Willis, is that a weakness?
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: Is that something to watch going forward?
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: I thought he was poor handling the free blitzer today.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_02]: Two things that I think about that, one after practice Malik said that they, it's not like they prepared for these guys, you know, like they, this is, they just go out there, they line up and they play and they execute some fundamentals.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_02]: So there's that aspect of it.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, you would like that sort of instinct to be in your DNA.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_02]: You know, so that even as you see it and you're not prepared for it, you know, you could still see it.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_02]: but I don't think he's there from an experience standpoint to do that.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I really don't.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_02]: It's he's not Drew Breeze in his 10th season, you know.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_02]: It's there is a difference.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_02]: This is a guy who hasn't played a lot in his four-year career.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_02]: So I think that's worth noting here.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_02]: No preparation plus a guy who hasn't played a lot.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_02]: You know, that's that's something.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_02]: And then the
- 13:30[SPEAKER_02]: This is a lot like linebackers when it comes to, you know, it always annoys me in practice trying to evaluate running backs and linebackers in practice where it's not full speed.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_02]: In games it is.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_02]: In games it's full speed, full contact, full physicality.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_02]: And then the games at full speed, that's when you're gonna find out that, oh, that two hand touching that your guy did, you know.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_02]: That didn't matter, you know, like because in the game, it's got to be full-speed, full-contact, really going at each other, and that's where you're going to find out how physical you're running back is.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_02]: That's where you're going to find out how physical your linebackers are.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_02]: And that's where you're going to find out how good your scrambling quarterback is and getting away from that contact.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_02]: And yes, that was on that.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, on that.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: Malik Wallace did have a great quote last week when he was asked that chop, you know, because chop got into it with Malik last week on one of those live periods where chop was jumping up and by the way, it's one of the most annoying things ever are defensive ends even when it's our guys, okay?
- 14:42[SPEAKER_00]: Then jump up and down swearing to God.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_00]: They got to take a sack on a plate.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_02]: I recall playing.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_02]: They showed the play on video on the offens official social feet.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and Malik will us after practice.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_00]: He said, yeah, those guys love to say that they got a sack.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: If you think that chopcom me with that one hand, then yes, whatever.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_00]: And he wrote his eyes like, yeah, I don't think that one hand was going to get me.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_02]: This is not too hand touch.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_02]: You know, Sunday football is not too hand touch.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_02]: It's not one
- 15:17[SPEAKER_02]: And it's not fly football, you know, you didn't get the guy's flag.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so I think, I think that, um, I think that you're not going to really see that until you get into the live fire and what's interesting is about the preseason games, uh, when they do actually go into more of a live fire.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_02]: Um, that's where you see you often see those, uh, those mobile quarterbacks, um, the guys who
- 15:46[SPEAKER_02]: because you're not working with full game plan installs for a preseason game.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_02]: Those guys turn on the physicality and it's no longer to land touch and it's practically cheating in the preseason game.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_02]: And so, you know, like people asked me if I'm such a degenerate that I bet on preseason games sometimes, and sometimes I do,
- 16:14[SPEAKER_02]: But a lot of one of my cheat codes is if I've got a quarterback align on a quarterback that I know it's going to play a lot.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_02]: And he's he's a really good scramble like he's really athletic.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_00]: So you had Dallas like in Seattle last week, huh, I didn't pay attention.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't even watch, but I mean, like jumping Milton cut up the sea hox last week.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, well, that's not surprising either, but yeah, so it does tend to be a cheat code.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_02]: So it's one of the reasons I was like, it's nice that Malik will us look the way he didn't know for striving against commanders.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_02]: But it's also a man that man that was vintage preseason in terms of how easy he found it to not not the throws the throws were good, but the the scramble's You know, that's that's just vintage preseason right there, but it's so different because Because they get to turn that on and the game the preseason game in a way that you're not seeing at all and those joint practices or any of the camp practices.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_02]: You know, once you go full physicality, it's totally different.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_02]: So, and then once you go full physicality plus full game planning, blizzing, you know, really confusing coverage looks, things like that, that itself is super different as well.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_02]: So, we're so many miles away.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_02]: from actual game situations that I'm I'm not sure why we're tallying wins and losses and joint practices.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah my favorite one was a dual Carter bless him I do think he's going to be good this year okay so the people had a trashing up dual Carter on the timeline you know put that away okay I think he's going to be a good player.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_02]: But he was completely- They got a great defense of Bathbrush.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, they're loading.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_00]: They're loading.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_00]: They're loading.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_00]: Brian Burns is a stud.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_00]: Jesus.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_00]: Brian Burns and Abdul Carter and- Johnson- Johnson- Johnson- Johnson- golden couldn't be blocked today either.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, no, they're very, very good up front.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_00]: But look, Abdul Carter, your full of shit buddy.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_00]: You said that you had a chance for a tackle for loss.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_00]: I understand that the rule said that that practice couldn't be-
- 18:34[SPEAKER_00]: photograph.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_00]: It couldn't be videotaped.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_00]: But that doesn't, that only means I can't do it.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_00]: It means Josh, I can't do it.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_00]: It means CBS can't do it.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_00]: But Tommy and Hialia has that clip.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_02]: Good old Tommy and Hialia.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_00]: And he posted the clip and it's exactly how I wrote it on the three YPC feed.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_00]: Wilk has married blew you up and the Von HN was off to the races with only Javan Holland Left to beat now does Javan Holland make the tackle in the open field.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_00]: Well, we all know he can do that, right?
- 19:09[SPEAKER_02]: So maybe Maybe but no, I Maybe he really really thought that he got a chance flag
- 19:20[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't touch a chin.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, no, but he did touch the ground with Wilka's American lane on top of him.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_02]: Like But if they can't have a flag on it, maybe he got it.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_00]: He gets it.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he does grab it.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_00]: You know, maybe he does grab it.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna go break on the other side of the break We're gonna talk about a preseason game not that we're gonna preview the preseason game But we're gonna talk about what we want to see There's a few battles and there's a few guys
- 19:43[SPEAKER_00]: that I think are, they're no longer in the bubble.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_00]: They're just flat out in trouble.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'll mention them right after this.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_00]: But first, let me tell you about my bookie.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_00]: Football season is here, and Thursday, Saturday, Sundays, and Mondays just got more interesting.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_00]: The my bookie lock of the season is back, and the first one is an absolute no-brainer.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_00]: With the Patriotians Seattle for the NFL kickoff, my bookie is asking one simple question, with a Seahawks raised their championship banner that night.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, that'll be hilarious if they don't, because then that means you will lose this bet.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_00]: But of course, they're well.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_00]: They're holding their defending champs.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's their home open and they're raising the banner before the kickoff is part of the celebration.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_00]: And you're getting that bet at plus money odds to get started.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_00]: So that's the first my bookie lock of the season and there'll be more coming all season long.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_00]: download the app today or click on the link in the description, send up with a promo code three yard, and start your season off with a win.

- 21:05[SPEAKER_00]: All right, we're talking about this game here.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_00]: Now, halfway was very not committal.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_00]: Last week, he wasn't.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_00]: Last week, he said, yeah, those guys are going to play.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_00]: This week, he was like, I don't know.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_00]: I will let you guys know.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_00]: Do I talk to you guys before the game?
- 21:17[SPEAKER_00]: And how have you told them?
- 21:19[SPEAKER_00]: We don't talk to you before the game.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_00]: So do we know everybody's going to play?
- 21:23[SPEAKER_00]: And halfway said, maybe.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_00]: So we don't know who's playing.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_00]: We don't know if they're playing everybody.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_00]: But it's a second preseason game like you've got to be yeah, I think and it's the the first game at home I would think they're going to play starters a while, but we don't know So let's just assume for for for argument sake and for this segments sake that they will What do you want to see?
- 21:53[SPEAKER_00]: on Saturday.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not sure that I do want to see the starters, but I'll say this, but preseasoned shunking down to the three games from, you know, back in the day used to be four, there used to be quite formulaic that the third game would be, you know, that the first game, you may be get guys out there for a series, the second game you get guys out there for a quarter plus the third game you get guys out there for the half plus plus you generally will come out of
- 22:22[SPEAKER_02]: with one more drive, something like that.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_02]: So it's like the half plus a drive, something along those lines.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_02]: And then the fourth game is just the drags of the roster.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_02]: But the three preseason game set up, it's a little bit different now.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_02]: And it's almost like the coaches have to negotiate with one another about what they're gonna, what they intend to do.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_02]: Because what you generally don't want to do is get, you know, have a complete mismatch out there.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_02]: And what the coaches of both teams are doing, because sometimes they consider, you know, coaches, some coaches consider that on safe.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_02]: you know, as far as, as far as, you know, totally mismatching what you're doing.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_02]: So when Jeff Affleys saying, I don't know yet, it could be subject to further discussions like, hey, you know, John Harball, what are you thinking for this?
- 23:11[SPEAKER_02]: You know, what do we want to get, because, hey, we're working together here.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_02]: It's, we're in different conferences.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_02]: So it's not, it's not that big of a deal.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_02]: We want to get the best work in for our guys.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_02]: You want to get the best work in for your guys.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_02]: How do we do that?
- 23:27[SPEAKER_02]: Like how do we do that during this exhibition game, and this isn't exhibition game?
- 23:32[SPEAKER_02]: So you know, I think that I think that that could be subject to but what do I want to see?
- 23:37[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I just want to see I just want to see some of the bubble players and the the depth players because those are the weak links You know, go out there
- 23:49[SPEAKER_02]: and let's see if you know guys that showed up like Miami when they started going into the depths of their defensive line last week you know against the commanders and the depths of the commander's offensive line is not bad this is this is kind of a misperception the depths of the commander's offensive line have NFL players on it like they have guys that started a lot of games they have Daniel Brunskill was out there you know we we know him Andrew Wiley
- 24:16[SPEAKER_02]: was out there, and he's gotten big contracts before, you know, Nicholas Petty Farrer was out there, and guys like, you know, guys that have skins on the wall.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_02]: But we put it out, so some backup defensive linemen, defensive tackles, like the tournament mobile only just got there.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_02]: Um, you know, around in the garage, uh, who's a big guy, uh, played opposite of, uh, a guy who collected a billion, uh, TFLs and sacks and, uh, Western Michigan.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and, uh, and, you know, some other players that, uh, stood up against the run and they were very physical and they're very strong.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and I want to see more of that.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_02]: I want to see of those backup defense of Lyme and are we working on anything there?
- 25:04[SPEAKER_02]: Um, are we, are we working on some some valid depth?
- 25:08[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I hate to say that I've kind of given up on most of the offensive line depth already.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_02]: I, that's just, it's just the, it's just the facts.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and it sucks, but you know, whatever.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so I've already kind of given up on on those guys, but I want to see some of that defensive line depth.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, obviously we have a pretty deep room.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_02]: I think at linebacker.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_02]: So you want to you want to see a little bit of that and then you know guys like Ethan Bonner Jason Marshall in the secondary you still need to give them some time to play and see what you have there obviously Chris Johnson even though he's going to be a starter he's a rookie and you need you need as much as he can there so so some of those guys
- 26:01[SPEAKER_02]: you're going to need to see more, but I think it's mostly on the defense where we might have some depth in that defensive front front seven kind of area and then some guys in the secondary that actually might end up starter during the season.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_02]: That's how bad the roster is.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_02]: But you know, going out there in the preseason game and continuing to show some things.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_02]: I like Josh Prevy, you know, Andrew Meyer, I think, can play Caden Wallace, we're going to have to see.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to have to, you know, because he has an intensity problem, but he had a decent game last week for being here so short, but the Patriots gave up on him for a reason, right?
- 26:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Kena Wallace today.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, Katie Wallace today, by the way, was not good.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_00]: He was bad.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_00]: But I told somebody while I was speaking to before we got on the air.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_00]: He was, this person was telling me, Patrick Paul wasn't good today.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, yeah, I agree with you.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_00]: Patrick Paul wasn't good today.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_00]: And he was like, Katie Wallace was terrible.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, just context to that.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_00]: Katie Wallace was thinking about the first beer he was going to have two hours from now.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_00]: and Austin Jackson goes and throws a punch and all of a sudden he's told hey you're in there oh and by the way we need you to block Abdul Carter and Brian Burns
- 27:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and kiddie Wallace like what I mean, I thought I thought I was planning my lunch and now I got to go block these guys So he was thrown in their cold and there was no way he was gonna have success.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_00]: Okay guys been here for a week So context to that, but yeah, I completely agree with you, especially on the interior offensive line
- 27:46[SPEAKER_00]: Did you Campbell, I fear it's fading in this game?
- 27:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, he is.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_02]: Well, at least he was disappointing to me in that preseason game.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_02]: He was.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_02]: I don't watch the practice.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_02]: I don't watch the practice at all.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_02]: What I would I get a hold of is this preseason tape.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_02]: And I think you can tell a lot from the preseason tape, frankly, but you know, yeah, he was disappointed.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_02]: It was not it was not great.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I believe he's fading.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_00]: I think there's a hierarchy now at safety as well.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_00]: Like we know Dante Trader is in.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we know, we know that Zain Anderson is in, we know that Michael Taff is in, I think Louis Moore is in some type of danger, and which is odd, because that's the kind of, with the most, Yeah, and Louis Moore has a lot of skins on the wall, you know, his national champion, very productive college player.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_00]: but Dave determined and he hasn't deficiencies.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_00]: First of all, we know he's not fast.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_00]: Second of all, we know he's small.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_00]: He's small and he looks small on the field.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_00]: So he made it a great college player, but hey, this is the NFL and they don't like it, they don't like you.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_00]: I think major burns is probably ahead of him.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, size.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_00]: I think Miles battle is probably ahead of him as well.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's the one.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_00]: It's shaking out a bit.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_00]: uh, and the second airing.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_00]: And like we do know Chris Johnson is going to be available for this game.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_00]: Two to Brents did not play today, but he did work on the side.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_00]: Also on the defensive line, we know that we're not going to have Kenneth Grant and no Zack Sealer.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_00]: Although the good news on Zack Sealer is that he's coming back for a week one of the regular season.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_02]: But we do know Zieg Beggars and Matthew Butler,
- 29:31[SPEAKER_00]: Jordan Phillips, that's probably the rotation.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_00]: I want to see, and we're still on this segment that of who we want to see.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_00]: I want to see Malba get extended snaps.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, with, with better players around him to see what he, what to see what that looks like, right?
- 29:55[SPEAKER_02]: And he was one of the, it was one of the collection of, you know, a lot of tickets that we, we put on the defensive line that year.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_02]: Guys that we signed for vet minimums and things like that.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_02]: He didn't make that team, but he did go on to the chargers and has been a standout NFL performer for his entire career really.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_02]: And I think he ended up getting a big contract, you know.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_02]: So I, you know, I don't know if that's one of those that Miami regrets not, you know,
- 30:23[SPEAKER_02]: not not committing to him or anything, but I think that's a normal but does kind of remind me of him in the way that he plays he's not going to kill you with the you know or he's not going to really impress you with his
- 30:36[SPEAKER_02]: uh... mobility range and uh... and you know stamina motor you know things like that is not going to run thirty yards across the field chasing somebody down necessarily uh... but he does know how to play with leverage and he does uh... he does play with his eyes and he does play with strikes he's a he's a he's a stout about he's a tree stump out there and against the run uh... and that's you know listen in this build
- 31:03[SPEAKER_02]: The first thing Miami, that's the first thing Miami needs to establish Defense because they sure is all ain't going to establish a great past defense You know Not with not with the secondary the way it's stacked up So this is the first thing that they need to establish They need they need to figure out they need to find guys like the torrent mobile that are surprising in that respect
- 31:26[SPEAKER_00]: Look, I think we know, or at least we kind of know, that Chop Robinson and Joshua Chicken play, but who's gonna help them on the edge?
- 31:35[SPEAKER_00]: So if this is a game that's gonna evolve early into a bunch of, you know, third stringers and second stringers playing,
- 31:43[SPEAKER_00]: or even if they are going to play some of the frontline players, I want to see Maxwell well and play against some of the better players against the giant, so we know what we're up against and whether we're actually turning the roster and quite frankly, if we're back in the draft pool for another edge player next year because you can't go through even if trap Robinson is just awesome this coming year.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_00]: you can't go through a season with just one edge and then a guy they just go from year to year with Joshua Jay, right?
- 32:14[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I want to see what they have on the edge against this team.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_00]: So I am kind of kind of hoping that that starting offensive line for the Giants.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_00]: Friends, mine all did leave practice today and they said it was a stinger.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, we had a stinger.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_00]: not playing on Saturday.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_00]: Nope.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_00]: So they're not going to face him.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_00]: But can they face Andrew Thomas?
- 32:36[SPEAKER_00]: Can they face Illuminaur?
- 32:38[SPEAKER_00]: John Runyon.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_02]: And Illuminaur or Illuminaur is such a vet, you know, you might not see him at all either.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_02]: And so and Andrew Thomas, I would be a little bit surprised if he played.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_02]: But again, like we said earlier, that doesn't mean that there
- 32:59[SPEAKER_02]: players in the depths of that offensive line, they're certainly were in the commander's depths of the offensive line.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_02]: Those were NFL players.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, going, going up against them in the game, I'm with you on Maxwell Wellett.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_02]: You know, not a 7th round pick that I quite understood at the time.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_02]: Putting together the whole picture is kind of like, you know, I don't know looking at his tape if he's good against the run.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_02]: But I can tell that it coaches don't consider him to be good against the run because they tend to take them off the field and run down.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_02]: You know, and I don't know if he can rush the passer, but I know that on tape, he's rushing the passer with these these gimmicky spin moves.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_02]: Constantly, which you're not going to do in the NFL.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, I think his DNA looked good in on tape.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_02]: because he's, you know, he's big.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_02]: He's pretty strong.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_02]: And he plays with the sort of wild, almost animal-like, you know, instinct and, um, and demeanor.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_02]: I think, uh, a certain guy's play a little bit more like animals.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_02]: I think, and that's, uh, Max Crosby was always an infamous for that TJ white was like that, you know, coming out like they have this animal quality to them.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_02]: And he has a little bit of that, not that he's going to be one of those guys, but, you know,
- 34:22[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but at the same time, it's like, you know, hey, he runs like a four nine and, um, and he's not, you know, totally impressively sized and his coaches don't think he's good against the run and his past rush production is based on a gimmick.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_02]: And so you drafted white fruity in the seventh round and, um, and I don't think that that's going to work, uh, buddy impressed me in the preseason again.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_02]: he did.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_02]: So in the last one, so I get it now, now I understand it.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_02]: And so follow that up like let's start stringing some stuff together and show show that you can you can be a real player because he's playing with NFL technique, he's playing with you know, he's playing with good size strength brutality, still that animal like quality which I really like.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_02]: So let's see,
- 35:18[SPEAKER_02]: that was disappointing.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, I know the injuries have been a problem for him in the past.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_02]: Watching him, I'm like in the preseason game, and even though he got a sack, it was an unarmed sack, and I'm just like, is there something wrong with you injury-wise?
- 35:30[SPEAKER_02]: Is there, you know, because just don't look good.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_02]: And sure enough, they waved injured him right after the game.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_02]: So I think that, I think the Maxwell and is absolutely one of those guys, it's like, just because he was a senator on pic doesn't mean he's going to make the team, and he never was slated to be, you know, I'm going to make the 53 man roster guy for sure anyway.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_02]: But now he might be in line for that.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_02]: And so that injuries me.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_02]: So I think that watching him further would be interesting.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and he had a very, very good start to this week against the run really like he wasn't really flashing that much and you know as a past rusher he was flashing as a run defender.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I've been into the big app taking on Kate and proctor.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_00]: So so he was physical and wild, which is what you like to see sometimes it's like look if you're going to just throw your body into the big app and just get absolutely demolished.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_00]: But it makes the running back get off of his line.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_00]: You did your job because now you're lying for Kyle Lewis, you're lying for Jacob Rodriguez to string the play out and they're getting out on HN when before they weren't.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_00]: Why?
- 36:46[SPEAKER_00]: Because you have this big giant white man diving at my feet.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
- 36:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_00]: You get the toss.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_00]: You're HN and you're like, OK, I'm going to pick my spot.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_00]: Well, what the hell is that?
- 36:57[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
- 36:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_02]: And that's unique.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_02]: and have them rush there, have them play there.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_02]: Even though I wouldn't say he sized like one of those defensive tackle and tweeners, he's not there, and yet you can throw him in there, which is unique for that kind of player.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_02]: So they speak well for him, actually.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_02]: It's a compliment.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_02]: And so I think that that's intriguing.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_02]: He's one of those guys that if you watch the way that they play him and what they do with
- 37:39[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, you can tell that they, the coaches feel like we've, we've established what you are.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_02]: And now we're going to see if you're a little bit more than that, you know, now we're going to see if you're, you're starting to add to your, your, your, your resume for making the team.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_02]: And those are the guys that you want to pay attention to when you can tell that the coaching staff is, is doing that.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I'm going to finish up here with the things that I want to I want to see and then you could you could finish up and and take us out.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_00]: Two more things will cast mark.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_00]: I want to see will cast mark to will cast mark things just continue your ascension as a pretty damn good blocking tad end and an integral part of this offense.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_00]: And the other thing is, Kyle Lewis, I understand it today might have been full schooled because you were playing in a role that you likely won't play that much in.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_00]: But I like to see him take ownership because remember today Jordan Brooks wasn't playing Terrell Dodson left practice halfway through.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_00]: At some point, they were playing Jacob Rodriguez and Jackson Woodred.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_00]: So Jacob Rodriguez and Carlos were the two guys that were out there consistently.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_00]: And then it was Willie Gay who essentially started practice with Jacob Rodriguez.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_00]: Those were the two starting linebackers.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_00]: So it was a mixed mix match, you know, mismatch of, you know, a
- 39:02[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's time for him to start taking a little bit of ownership of a role on this team.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_00]: The guy can play and by all accounts he was very good today.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_00]: So I like to see him grab a role and just run with it, starting with this game.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_00]: So those are really, that's really what I want to see.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_00]: Those four things you could take us out here, what else do you want to see?
- 39:22[SPEAKER_00]: And don't say a back of quarterback because I don't think we're going to see one of those.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, are we just going to go the game without any quarterbacks?
- 39:29[SPEAKER_00]: Because just run the ball, just run the ball 50 times.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I'll pass it.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_02]: What's a shame about that is I do.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_02]: We do need to see more out of the wide receiver unit.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_02]: You know, we do need to see and so and you mentioned Wilcoz Merrick, what do I want to see out of him?
- 39:46[SPEAKER_02]: Listen, I know he's, I know he's a batteries included blocker as a Titan.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_02]: And that's what he's going to be as a rookie.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_02]: What I don't know is, is you're going to finish plays and tight quarters in the passing game, you know, he's going to be a tight window guy finish finish the catches with physicality, get him out in space, you know, where the defense kind of forgets about him a little bit and then and then let him run after the catch and see what that looks like, you know, that there's these are the things you need to see from him.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_02]: Because I think you kind of know the other stuff, the blocking aspect of it.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_02]: What you also know is he's not going to get open against a lot of people.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_02]: Because I'm watching the tape and I watched it in college.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_02]: I'm watching it in a pre-season last week.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_02]: Listen, rather pedestrian defense of players can keep up with him and look like they're just walking a dog.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_02]: They're not straining to keep up with him.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_02]: Um, he doesn't have a knack for, you know, it's not just the speed.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_02]: It's, it doesn't necessarily have a knack for getting open and for being unpredictable and fooling those guys and things like that.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think you're going to, I don't think that that's going to happen.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_02]: That's not in the cards for him certainly not as a rookie.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_02]: But what could be in the cards for him is in the red zone when things get tight, tight window throws.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_02]: physical situations will he finish those catches you know can he finish those catches because he might and that would be very valuable for the team so get them in those situations get them in run after catch situations and see what that looks like that's one of the top keys of the offense to see to see in this game but the other ones are going to be those wide receiver units you didn't see how deep the rabbit hole goes on Caleb Doug.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_02]: right you need to see you need to see Kevin Coleman if he can get out there and see what he can present.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_02]: So you need a quarterback to do that.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_02]: And it's unfortunate that we have the situation we do when yours is not going to play, can Miller really struggle last week, although he's apparently having a better practice week.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_02]: So hopefully, can Miller get some things done and allow those other guys to be predictive and to show what they need to show.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I want to see.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have a lot of
- 42:19[SPEAKER_00]: uh... who's back i think i think it's just give me enough at that position that i have a chance at evaluating some of these water severs and will cast america you know that yeah i can't come in today uh... i pop in play because usually went when you get this lodged remember that they're not really tackling to the ground javon hallan absolutely lit them up and thank you to me highly also provided that play for us okay
- 42:46[SPEAKER_00]: So you could check that out on his timeline, all right.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_00]: He has the all 22.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_00]: It dropped earlier today You know, so you got the out of the all 22 of giant dolphins during practice today Kevin Coleman caught that pass in traffic and got absolutely smoked by Jvon Hall He got back up with the football and then finished the play running toward the the end zone.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_02]: You love this stuff like that He's a tough guy.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_02]: He was a tough guy in college
- 43:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so you love to see stuff like that because usually in practice when you get hit hard like you're going to drop it because you're not expecting it, you know what I mean?
- 43:19[SPEAKER_00]: You're being a little bit latched with with how you're tucking the ball away.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_00]: So that was fun to watch.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_00]: And there's there's high hopes for Kevin Cohen because remember when when Jeff Irons said we got we got two's in three, no we got three's in four's we don't know how we don't know if we have one's and two's.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_00]: Well we have two hypothetical
- 43:39[SPEAKER_00]: We definitely have a three in Malik, Washington, and then we have a bunch of sixes and sevens.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe we could find another three in here.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_00]: We're Kevin Coleman.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see that game.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_02]: And on the offensive line, I would say, Josh Creepy.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_02]: I would like to see more of him.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that that's, you know, potential.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_02]: And obviously you need to see Peyton Wallace.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_02]: He traded a pick for him.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and he's counter on like he's going to be on the roster.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_00]: He's the swing tackle right now So Saturday the very rare four o'clock start for a home game
- 44:21[SPEAKER_00]: at home in the preseason and I look I couldn't find one in like the last 20 years.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_00]: So I guess this is the new thing for the NFL.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to have an afternoon game at Hardrock on Saturday.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_00]: But it'll be fun to watch no matter who plays.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_00]: Well, we've got it.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_00]: We've got to learn a little bit more about this team.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_00]: But next week it'll be that's it.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_00]: they'll be cut down on Sunday of next week.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll give you one more show.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going on vacation, but there'll be a lot of content on this feed for that week that I'm gone.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_00]: But three more practices, they're all closer to the public.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_00]: They're all private practices, only open to the media.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_00]: Mostly those every year, the final three practices of training camp are very install heavy.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_00]: very little 11 on 11.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_00]: So it'll be less to report.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think I want to give you the game plan for the Raiders because I'm going to be working some of that next week, but it's Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and then cap is over.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_00]: And then it's game on Friday next week, cut on day on Sunday.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_00]: That's the schedule, and then it's the regular season.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_00]: But that's it for us this week.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_00]: We will talk to you
