- 0:00Speaker 1: Fly from midtown Manhattan. Here comes the Mark Simone Show
- 0:05Speaker 1: on seven.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Ten r Okay, Wednesday, already, all right, we're getting it
- 0:12Speaker 2: almost a Friday. Now, it's gonna be a nice day today,
- 0:15Speaker 2: sun will be out. We got a lot to get to.
- 0:17Speaker 2: We'll get to a lot of interesting election results last night.
- 0:20Speaker 2: We'll get to missus mom, Donnie, she's got a little problem.
- 0:23Speaker 2: We'll get to crazy Kathy Hokle. Never heard of the
- 0:27Speaker 2: Pietre Tar Texan now that's going down and flames. She
- 0:30Speaker 2: never heard of it. She didn't know about it. It's
- 0:32Speaker 2: not none of her business. We'll get to President Trump
- 0:36Speaker 2: and Iran. The latest strategy Bruce Blakeman pulling ahead in polls,
- 0:40Speaker 2: not ahead, but getting closer and closer. Looks like a
- 0:43Speaker 2: very very very good race for Blakeman. This is his
- 0:49Speaker 2: pattern in Last Long Island, when he ran way behind
- 0:55Speaker 2: and then he slowly but surely catches up ends up
- 0:58Speaker 2: winning big. And it's the same pattern here, slowly but
- 1:02Speaker 2: surely catching up to Kathy Hochel. And it's early. It's
- 1:05Speaker 2: only August. We're not even close yet. So a lot
- 1:08Speaker 2: to get to today. Hey, last night, all these different
- 1:10Speaker 2: races Governor Lamont, Connecticut. There was he listen. Lamont can
- 1:19Speaker 2: be a good governor at times, successful business guy, has
- 1:23Speaker 2: some common sense, but every so often goes a little
- 1:26Speaker 2: too woke, a little too left. But the guy running
- 1:30Speaker 2: against him really left. So good news is Lamont beat
- 1:33Speaker 2: him in the primary.
- 1:34Speaker 3: A lot of other parties around the country is shrinking.
- 1:36Speaker 2: We have a big tent. We're expanding that includes.
- 1:39Speaker 4: All the supporters, progressive, moderates, small business, labor.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Yeah, they left that big tent thing, you know, because
- 1:50Speaker 2: he just beat a wacko left winger, so he's got
- 1:54Speaker 2: to appease that part of the party. So you talked
- 1:57Speaker 2: about that big tent. You remember, what does that mean?
- 1:59Speaker 2: A big tent like a circused big tent, Well the circus, Well,
- 2:04Speaker 2: big tent has elephants, clowns, donkeys. I don't know if
- 2:07Speaker 2: you want that big a tent. Hey, our buddy Mike
- 2:09Speaker 2: Lindell was running for governor of Minnesota and he was
- 2:13Speaker 2: in the primary last night and he got defeated. He
- 2:18Speaker 2: got wiped out last night. Now, I don't I haven't
- 2:20Speaker 2: talked to Mike Lindell in a long time. I think
- 2:23Speaker 2: there's not a lot of money there anymore with Mike Lindell.
- 2:25Speaker 2: You notice you don't hear any my pillow ads anymore.
- 2:28Speaker 2: They used to be every ten minutes on every radio station.
- 2:32Speaker 2: But also he did not have a lot of spending
- 2:35Speaker 2: in the campaign. He was out spent something like fifteen
- 2:38Speaker 2: to one. But Lindell lost last night.
- 2:41Speaker 5: If we don't find anything, you know, then obviously I
- 2:46Speaker 5: will get behind our party and give him every idea
- 2:50Speaker 5: and every plan we had to move our state forward
- 2:54Speaker 5: to get rid of the evil leadership we have now
- 2:56Speaker 5: in the state.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Yeah, now I didn't like that. If we don't find anything,
- 3:00Speaker 2: is he going to start looking through a look for
- 3:02Speaker 2: voter fraud?
- 3:03Speaker 5: If we don't find anything, you.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Know, he did that with Dominion and and it cost
- 3:09Speaker 2: him a lot. It's a I would stay away from
- 3:11Speaker 2: that if I were him, But it's Minnesota. They are
- 3:15Speaker 2: famous for all kinds of voter shenanigans in Minnesota. It's
- 3:19Speaker 2: a crazy place. So he lost Lindsay Graham's sister one,
- 3:25Speaker 2: but just barely one. You know, this is not going
- 3:28Speaker 2: to be so easy to save that Lindsay Graham seat.
- 3:31Speaker 2: It's not going to be that easy. Graham was not
- 3:34Speaker 2: that popular in South Carolina. So the sister ran for
- 3:40Speaker 2: his seat. President Trump got behind her, but she just
- 3:43Speaker 2: barely squeaked by.
- 3:44Speaker 6: This is a very emotional night because I'm usually standing
- 3:49Speaker 6: here celebrating with Lindsay.
- 3:53Speaker 7: So I know he's looking down right now, smiling though.
- 3:56Speaker 7: So that gives me peace. But it's difficult.
- 4:00Speaker 2: But President Trump back in her.
- 4:02Speaker 8: I mean, just so you understand, I like the other
- 4:03Speaker 8: people of the.
- 4:04Speaker 9: Rights also, they're all trump I mean, they're all Trumpers.
- 4:07Speaker 7: But you know, I endorsed her. I think she's great.
- 4:11Speaker 10: It's really in honor of her brother, and she's really
- 4:13Speaker 10: a very smart woman.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Okay, Now you know in Wisconsin that wacko socialist left
- 4:21Speaker 2: wing not Francesca Han was running in the primary. She
- 4:26Speaker 2: wants to be governor. She lost. The polls were wrong,
- 4:32Speaker 2: as they usually are. These are these public polls, these
- 4:35Speaker 2: you know, these fake junk polls, these college polls, these
- 4:38Speaker 2: media polls. They're all cheap, flimsy polls. She lost. She
- 4:42Speaker 2: is out. That's the good news. That's another socialist gone.
- 4:46Speaker 11: And I was actually trying to become a sports journalist
- 4:49Speaker 11: when I first went to college, so I learned then
- 4:52Speaker 11: you have some hot takes sometimes bad takes on Twitter,
- 4:57Speaker 11: and I let my feelings out into the world.
- 4:59Speaker 2: You know, Yeah, that sports journalist.
- 5:02Speaker 3: And now if you talk like that, you're probably not
- 5:04Speaker 3: going to be great at doing sports. I don't think
- 5:06Speaker 3: anybody I can't hear you on ESPN if you talk
- 5:09Speaker 3: like that, not going to be great. So, uh, one
- 5:12Speaker 3: by one, you got to eliminate these socialists. It's not
- 5:14Speaker 3: going to be easy. You still got l sayad in Michigan.
- 5:18Speaker 3: He's a Now she's a she's got problems, but he's
- 5:23Speaker 3: a slick talker. He's a Mom Donnie ish kind of,
- 5:26Speaker 3: you know, looks pretty good, talks pretty good kind of.
- 5:28Speaker 8: So I got to grow up watching where she'd at
- 5:30Speaker 8: an elected official, right, So she does like my older sister.
- 5:34Speaker 8: Every time I make a mistake, she's like she to
- 5:35Speaker 8: get the text stuff. It's like like very much older
- 5:38Speaker 8: sister energy.
- 5:38Speaker 12: And I'm like, I'm sorry, apologize, I just I care.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Well, yeah, that's her with the surely. But you notice
- 5:45Speaker 2: that these guys are very fast talking. It's like mom Donnie.
- 5:47Speaker 2: They just talk very fast and they always got a
- 5:50Speaker 2: big smile. Uh hey, O friend, Jimmy Fla putting out
- 5:53Speaker 2: the one thing about these socialists, they just say this
- 5:56Speaker 2: stuff that sounds great to their supporters. They just throw
- 5:59Speaker 2: out some does that sound great, free busses, defund the police,
- 6:03Speaker 2: get rid of the military. They just he points out
- 6:07Speaker 2: that they just throw this stuff out. But they never
- 6:10Speaker 2: tell you what's next. They just say this stuff and it,
- 6:14Speaker 2: you know, sounds great to the supporters who all start cheering,
- 6:16Speaker 2: But they never say what's next. Yeah, defund the police,
- 6:19Speaker 2: what's next? Crime wave? Huge crime wave, will close the prisons,
- 6:24Speaker 2: let the prisoners out. Yeah, but they don't talk about
- 6:27Speaker 2: what's next. That was the Cuomo problem. You know, he
- 6:30Speaker 2: was bragging about his no bail, no jail. It caused
- 6:33Speaker 2: a massive crime wave. You had criminals running around all
- 6:36Speaker 2: over the street instead of locked up where they should be.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Remember Cuomo used to brag, you do these speeches about it.
- 6:42Speaker 2: He's so proud of closed more prisons than any other government. Yeah,
- 6:45Speaker 2: look what happened, a crime wave. So yeah, they never
- 6:50Speaker 2: talk about what's next. Tax the rich, they never talk
- 6:53Speaker 2: about what's next. You have the richual leave, you'll lose
- 6:55Speaker 2: your tax base. Revenue drops dramatically. So out there was
- 7:03Speaker 2: no big, huge winner last night. So hang is out
- 7:08Speaker 2: that means Amy Klobacher, remember her the Senator. She will
- 7:11Speaker 2: probably be the next governor of Minnesota, which is bad.
- 7:15Speaker 2: I mean it's not as bad as this Tim Walltz,
- 7:17Speaker 2: but the Clobacher very big name and very popular in Minnesota.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Why she's the big candidate for governor of Minnesota.
- 7:25Speaker 13: My goal is to keep what's right and fix what's wrong.
- 7:29Speaker 13: That's why I'll launch on day one a top to
- 7:32Speaker 13: bottom audit of state government to root out the waste
- 7:36Speaker 13: and the abuse and the fraud.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Yeah, Democrats going to do that. Remember they had Elon
- 7:42Speaker 2: must do that, and all of you Democrats, including you Klobucher,
- 7:45Speaker 2: chase them out of Washington. Now Darry do a top
- 7:47Speaker 2: to bottom audit. How Darry get rid of waste in front?
- 7:50Speaker 2: No Democrats, they go nuts if you try to get
- 7:53Speaker 2: rid of waste in fraud. So what happens in twenty
- 7:55Speaker 2: twenty eight? We don't have a twenty twenty eight candidate.
- 7:58Speaker 2: There is nobody out there, nobody. So you got Kamala
- 8:03Speaker 2: Harris looking like the front runner. Again, not really, she
- 8:05Speaker 2: looks like the front runner, but that's because it's suddenly
- 8:08Speaker 2: a vacuum. Newsom's gone. So in this vacuum. There's nobody else,
- 8:13Speaker 2: so they all look at her. But everybody talking about
- 8:15Speaker 2: you know, it's Senator John Kennedy, the Southern guy with
- 8:19Speaker 2: all the great little ways of saying things. So he's
- 8:23Speaker 2: on Hannity going after Kamala Harris, unst.
- 8:26Speaker 14: Vice President Harris, no disrespect, but Vice President Harris is
- 8:32Speaker 14: no longer relevant. She had her shot and she missed.
- 8:37Speaker 14: She can cozy up to the lu Mu Lenin's all
- 8:41Speaker 14: she wants to. But she has me confused with somebody
- 8:45Speaker 14: who cares what she thinks.
- 8:47Speaker 15: I mean, she's yesterday.
- 8:49Speaker 2: So a lot of people talking about that little phraser
- 8:51Speaker 2: is the Lulu Lenins. That's a good way to describe it.
- 8:56Speaker 2: That's one thing Kennedy is famous for, it just coming
- 8:58Speaker 2: up with the most colorful descriptions of things. But so
- 9:04Speaker 2: Harris is in the lead only because it's a vacuum.
- 9:06Speaker 2: There's like nobody else except lurking on the horizon, crawling
- 9:14Speaker 2: out of the grave, crawling out of her crypt. Hillary Clinton,
- 9:20Speaker 2: she's back, She's all over the place. She wants this nomination.
- 9:25Speaker 2: She's again. She's the old woman in Sunset Boulevard thinking
- 9:28Speaker 2: she can make a comeback. It's a sad, sad political story.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Hillary Clinton, she's the first lady, she's the senator, she's
- 9:36Speaker 2: the Secretary of State. She screws up everything she touches,
- 9:40Speaker 2: but she thinks she can win. So she finally her
- 9:43Speaker 2: moment comes twenty sixteen, This is her moment. She runs
- 9:46Speaker 2: her President. Donald Trump, a total amateur, never been in politics,
- 9:52Speaker 2: takes it away from her. And remember the last time
- 9:55Speaker 2: she ran for the nomination. Barack Obama, a guy with
- 10:01Speaker 2: no experience, a guy was a senator for five minutes
- 10:03Speaker 2: before that, he was a community organized, no resume, wiped
- 10:07Speaker 2: her out, wiped her out, took the nomination from her.
- 10:10Speaker 2: So it's a sad story. So she sits up there
- 10:13Speaker 2: in Chapequa and alone in that big house, drinking and
- 10:18Speaker 2: like the old woman in Sunset Boulevard, plotting that comeback.
- 10:22Speaker 2: So now she's doing a lot of TV shows and
- 10:24Speaker 2: she's trying to show that she can go after Donald Trump.
- 10:28Speaker 2: You want a Trump basher, You want somebody to stop Trump.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Why that's me, Well, everybody remembers twenty sixteen. You got
- 10:34Speaker 2: wiped out in three debates. You were the worst at
- 10:36Speaker 2: stopping him. In fact, it's because the UI's president because
- 10:39Speaker 2: you couldn't stop him. So she's going after everything. You know,
- 10:42Speaker 2: Trump wants to build things in Washington, the ballroom, the arch.
- 10:47Speaker 2: That arch would look like the Arcta Triumph in Paris, magnificent.
- 10:52Speaker 2: You know where all the boulevards come together. It's beautiful.
- 10:54Speaker 2: So it's a nice idea to have one in Washington.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Nothing to do with Trump. It would just be a
- 10:59Speaker 2: beautiful another beautiful monument in Washington. But there she is
- 11:02Speaker 2: going after that. She's running around doing every podcast, every show,
- 11:05Speaker 2: every this.
- 11:06Speaker 6: I think they'll have to be some You'll probably have
- 11:10Speaker 6: to take down the arch, which she is determined to
- 11:14Speaker 6: put up, which I think is just just a terrible idea.
- 11:18Speaker 6: I think we'll have to worry about the reflecting pool
- 11:21Speaker 6: because it's not going to be fixed. By the time
- 11:22Speaker 6: he leaves.
- 11:23Speaker 2: It'll be fine. So that's she's admitting when a Democrat,
- 11:28Speaker 2: if if a Democrat ever takes office, he's going to
- 11:31Speaker 2: start tearing down things, tear down the arch, tear down
- 11:34Speaker 2: the ballroom, all of this. But here's this woman. I
- 11:37Speaker 2: don't know who else she thinks she's talking to anymore.
- 11:40Speaker 6: Sad that it's so tackied up and it is. It's
- 11:45Speaker 6: a reflection of, you know, his narcissistic personality and his
- 11:50Speaker 6: need to feel important, including sticking gold embellishments all over
- 11:56Speaker 6: the walls of the noble office.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Well, she's not entirely wrong on that. I like what
- 12:03Speaker 2: he did putting some gold in the office, a little
- 12:05Speaker 2: trim there, but he did put a little too much.
- 12:10Speaker 2: It's a little too much. It looks like a queen
- 12:13Speaker 2: of her side, that woman in bok Heratan who overdecorates
- 12:16Speaker 2: her hat. It looks a little like that. And it's
- 12:19Speaker 2: nice to put those beautiful old paintings the president up
- 12:22Speaker 2: on the walls, but maybe maybe five or six, not
- 12:26Speaker 2: one hundred and fifty of them in not every inch
- 12:28Speaker 2: of the wall. So she may have a point there,
- 12:30Speaker 2: But every president comes in changes the oval office. They
- 12:34Speaker 2: repaint it, they changed the carpet, the curtains. Sometimes they
- 12:37Speaker 2: changed the desk. So yeah, you will have to You're
- 12:41Speaker 2: gonna have to remove some of that gold. You're not
- 12:43Speaker 2: wrong about that one. But she thinks it's kind of
- 12:47Speaker 2: sad that he has an ego like he's trying to
- 12:49Speaker 2: feel important. Well, first of all, he's literally the most
- 12:54Speaker 2: important man in the world. Literally, he's the biggest guy
- 12:57Speaker 2: in the world. He's the most famous man on earth, literally,
- 13:01Speaker 2: So you don't really have to worry about feeling important.
- 13:05Speaker 2: The second of all, talking about feeling trying to feel important,
- 13:08Speaker 2: Look at her running around pontificating about everything. You know,
- 13:11Speaker 2: Trump's got a problem coming up. I don't know if
- 13:13Speaker 2: he's ever thought about this. He was a real estate developer.
- 13:18Speaker 2: They did a lot of stuff. Brooklyn Queens comes to Manhattan,
- 13:21Speaker 2: conquers Manhattan, becomes a bit of a famous guy, becomes famous,
- 13:26Speaker 2: then he becomes more famous. Then he just kept rising
- 13:30Speaker 2: and rising and right he's like very He became like
- 13:32Speaker 2: the most famous business guy in America. Then he gets
- 13:36Speaker 2: a TV show and he becomes the number one show
- 13:40Speaker 2: on television. He conquerors TV. He builds apartment buildings all
- 13:44Speaker 2: over and he'd be the biggest apartment buildings all over
- 13:46Speaker 2: the place. Then he decides he'll build golf courses and hotels,
- 13:51Speaker 2: which he hadn't done before. But he starts doing it,
- 13:53Speaker 2: and all of a sudden, he's got a million because
- 13:55Speaker 2: he's a big success in the hotel world, big success
- 13:59Speaker 2: in the golf world being the golf and then he
- 14:01Speaker 2: decides we'll go into politics. He gets elected President of
- 14:04Speaker 2: the United States. That's pretty impressive. You you ever see
- 14:09Speaker 2: an amateur try to run for I'll run for mayor,
- 14:11Speaker 2: a total amateur arm I'll run for Congress. Once in
- 14:14Speaker 2: a while they make it. But a total amateur, first
- 14:17Speaker 2: first attempt at anything, runs for president and wins. Then he
- 14:20Speaker 2: wins again second time president. Now he's the biggest guy
- 14:23Speaker 2: on earth. But he's a guy who always keeps rising
- 14:26Speaker 2: to the next level, always achieving the next thing, always
- 14:29Speaker 2: climbing the So the problem now is what does he
- 14:32Speaker 2: do next. He's done. I don't know if he realizes it.
- 14:35Speaker 2: There's nowhere else to go after this. You can't get
- 14:38Speaker 2: any bigger than this. It's pretty much.
- 14:42Speaker 7: It's it.
- 14:42Speaker 2: There's nothing else he can do. I don't know if
- 14:44Speaker 2: he's thought about that, But knowing him, he'll think of
- 14:47Speaker 2: something that nobody ever thought of, no ex president ever
- 14:50Speaker 2: thought of. So hey, the latest poll has Bruce Blakeman
- 14:54Speaker 2: within ten points. Now, he's really within about six points.
- 14:59Speaker 2: In the real these are the deadly accurate, very expensive
- 15:03Speaker 2: private polls that the candidates use, he's really within about
- 15:06Speaker 2: six points. But in public, these public poles. You see,
- 15:10Speaker 2: they're all junk polls. They're very very cheap they use,
- 15:13Speaker 2: they're so flimsy, they use very few voters, and they
- 15:17Speaker 2: rig them against the Republican They usually put Republicans. Most
- 15:20Speaker 2: of these poles they put it in. Republicans are twenty
- 15:22Speaker 2: three percent of the sample. They should be thirty six percent.
- 15:26Speaker 2: They don't use likely voters. They use what they call adults,
- 15:30Speaker 2: which means whoever the hell they want to use, and
- 15:33Speaker 2: they use their wrong demos. So they're not very good.
- 15:36Speaker 2: But even in the fake polls, the junk polls, the
- 15:39Speaker 2: college polls, the media polls, Blakeman is catching up, catching
- 15:44Speaker 2: up fast. So that's not a good sign for Kathy Hokeel. Hey,
- 15:48Speaker 2: we've got a lot to get to this morning, a
- 15:50Speaker 2: lot of good stuff to talk about. We'll get to Iran,
- 15:52Speaker 2: the new Trump plan for Iran. We'll get to Yeah, hey,
- 15:55Speaker 2: speaking of what are they up to? Hunter Biden, who's
- 15:58Speaker 2: all of a sudden everywhere, what the hell is he
- 16:00Speaker 2: up to? And missus mom Donnie got a real slap
- 16:04Speaker 2: in the face. We'll get to that and more coming up.
- 16:06Speaker 2: They had Mark Simone here nine to noon every day
- 16:10Speaker 2: we started an hour earlier. Oh you're listening. Well, I
- 16:12Speaker 2: guess you know that, but some of our listeners don't.
- 16:15Speaker 2: It's now nine to noon every weekday here on seven ten,
- 16:19Speaker 2: w Mark.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Simone hill Mark on seven ten, double.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Off, Faye. So oh there's another race. Now, this is Minnesota.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Minnesota's a crazy left wing, kooky place. The lieutenant governor,
- 16:36Speaker 2: you got that ridiculous governor, Waltz. And then the lieutenant
- 16:40Speaker 2: governor is Peggy Flanagan, who's a real wacko left winger.
- 16:44Speaker 2: She did win in the primary last night. She's a
- 16:47Speaker 2: running for senate. Now she's running for senate, but she
- 16:49Speaker 2: won the Democratic primary for Senate. She's got all the
- 16:53Speaker 2: typical left wing woke Ice. She wants to blow up Ice,
- 16:58Speaker 2: blow up Ice and custom Donald Trump's out of control
- 17:03Speaker 2: Ice force. She will shut it down. We need to
- 17:06Speaker 2: rip Ice apart and stop them. But again it goes
- 17:10Speaker 2: back to what we were saying, they never tell you what's next.
- 17:13Speaker 2: We'll get rid of Ice, then they never tell you
- 17:16Speaker 2: what's next. Illegals coming in all over the place. You know,
- 17:20Speaker 2: one reason the border is closed. Without building a complete wall,
- 17:25Speaker 2: the border is absolutely closed. Nobody is crossing the border
- 17:29Speaker 2: one reason is Ice, believe it or not, that way
- 17:32Speaker 2: down wherever they're coming from, they know what's going on.
- 17:34Speaker 2: They know about Ice, they know about Tom Holman, they
- 17:37Speaker 2: know about detention centers just that close down the border.
- 17:42Speaker 2: So she would rip that out. And anyway she did
- 17:44Speaker 2: win the Senate primary, show she would be replacing if
- 17:48Speaker 2: she wins Amy Klobashier. Now, this was another defeat for
- 17:52Speaker 2: Chuck Schumer, who backed the you know, more mainstream candidates,
- 17:58Speaker 2: So another defeat for Schumer. Schumer is finished. He has
- 18:02Speaker 2: absolutely no clout anywhere in the Democratic Party. He's just
- 18:08Speaker 2: a tired old fossil. And we can even figure out
- 18:10Speaker 2: why he's still there. And he's only there because he's
- 18:13Speaker 2: got nowhere else to go right now, So the Pieta
- 18:16Speaker 2: tear tax is going to get probably shot down in
- 18:18Speaker 2: the end, courts will probably toss the whole thing out.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Now one thing they've got going for, well, a couple
- 18:24Speaker 2: of things. One, the way they're doing it is so preposterous. Normally,
- 18:31Speaker 2: if you live somewhere, let you know, some people say
- 18:34Speaker 2: they're a Florida resident, and maybe they're not. Maybe they're
- 18:37Speaker 2: in New York too much. So all of a sudden
- 18:40Speaker 2: the government will you know, look for evidence or if
- 18:45Speaker 2: you have a Pieta tear the government knows everything. They've
- 18:48Speaker 2: got your addresses, your tax forms, everything, so they'll accuse
- 18:54Speaker 2: you maybe. But the way they're doing this Pieta tear
- 18:56Speaker 2: tax is everybody's accused and then everybody to prove they're innocent.
- 19:01Speaker 2: It's the opposite of American justice. Normally, you're innocent till
- 19:04Speaker 2: proven guilty, and the Hoko Mamdani system is you're guilty.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Now you've got to prove you're innocent, which doesn't make
- 19:11Speaker 2: any sense. So that's one reason the court that tossed out.
- 19:14Speaker 2: The other is the stupid rollout where they just put
- 19:18Speaker 2: everybody's name and address into a database and put it online.
- 19:23Speaker 2: It's public, anybody can see it. It's got everybody's name
- 19:27Speaker 2: and address. It's like doxing people. And when you talk
- 19:29Speaker 2: about Pieta terrors, you're talking about a lot of wealthy people,
- 19:31Speaker 2: but you're also talking about famous people, famous movie stars, famous,
- 19:35Speaker 2: this famous that they don't want their address up on
- 19:38Speaker 2: a website where anybody could get it. So the court
- 19:41Speaker 2: mention that all of this stuff's going to get torn down,
- 19:45Speaker 2: taken down and it's a pretty good case against the
- 19:48Speaker 2: Pieta tear tacks. Also, you can't just single out a
- 19:52Speaker 2: group and just tax the hell out of them, you know,
- 19:56Speaker 2: you can't just do that. So this is probably all
- 19:58Speaker 2: going to get tossed out. Kathy Hochele is now pretending
- 20:01Speaker 2: she never heard of this, She doesn't know anything about it.
- 20:04Speaker 2: She said, oh, that rollout, why that was terrible? Well,
- 20:07Speaker 2: it's it's her tax. It was the legislature that passed it,
- 20:10Speaker 2: but she was pushing it. She and the legislature pushed it,
- 20:14Speaker 2: pushed it, and she's the one that signed it. Now,
- 20:16Speaker 2: where did the piere Te tax start? You can blame Cuomo,
- 20:21Speaker 2: as you can for most bad things in New York.
- 20:23Speaker 2: It was actually a little known, unknown state legislator. He
- 20:27Speaker 2: first proposed the thing in Albany. Cuomo got a hold
- 20:30Speaker 2: of it. He's the one that really really really made it,
- 20:34Speaker 2: made it public, made it big, made it. It was
- 20:37Speaker 2: Cuomo pushing the Pieta terror tax. Luckily he got run
- 20:40Speaker 2: out of town. Remember he had a flea Albany with
- 20:42Speaker 2: the with the police chasing him. So but it's Mom,
- 20:45Speaker 2: Donnie and company that brought it back. Hey, speaking of
- 20:48Speaker 2: which we're telling yesterday. Mom, Donnie's wife, Uh, what's her name,
- 20:54Speaker 2: Rama Douagi is taking a little vacation. She's going to
- 20:58Speaker 2: go to Syria. She's going to go to Lebanon. Sounds
- 21:03Speaker 2: like a fun vacation. Now, she is SyRI and her
- 21:05Speaker 2: parents are Muslim Syrian Muslims, so she wanted to have
- 21:10Speaker 2: and she had said she would have. They said she
- 21:14Speaker 2: would have an NYPD detail with her. Now, these are
- 21:18Speaker 2: two dangerous places right now, Syria and Lebanon. In fact,
- 21:22Speaker 2: they're on the list from the State Department of Countries
- 21:25Speaker 2: too dangerous for Americans to visit. So the NYPD very
- 21:32Speaker 2: concerned because, first of all, Rama Duaji and Syrian Lebanon
- 21:36Speaker 2: will be fine, as many have said, Hesbola will protect
- 21:39Speaker 2: her hamasl protector, the Hoodies will protect her. But the
- 21:43Speaker 2: NYPD detail would be at great risk in those countries
- 21:47Speaker 2: where they hate us. And there's a State Department warning
- 21:50Speaker 2: I do not travel embargo on those places. So it's
- 21:55Speaker 2: dangerous for the NYPD. Well, now it turns out the Commissioner,
- 21:58Speaker 2: Jessica Tish, says she will not send that detail. City
- 22:03Speaker 2: Hall red faced, very embarrassed. Looks bad for Mom, Donnie,
- 22:09Speaker 2: he's pinning it's interesting. This is how he handles it
- 22:12Speaker 2: instead of going after Tish. He's blaming his staff for
- 22:15Speaker 2: screwing it up. He's blaming the staff for miscommunication for
- 22:19Speaker 2: screwing it up. But the police Commissioner will not send
- 22:23Speaker 2: a detail to those countries with her, And the commissioner said, quote,
- 22:29Speaker 2: the NYPD does not send officers to countries with Level
- 22:34Speaker 2: four travel advisories for discretionary reasons. In other words, they
- 22:40Speaker 2: never send anybody to a Level four country for just
- 22:43Speaker 2: you know, discretionary things that's not linked to actual investigative work.
- 22:49Speaker 2: If it was important investigative work, they might send somebody.
- 22:53Speaker 2: But she said the commissioner, this is not investigative trip.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Therefore NYPD personnel will not be traveling there for it.
- 23:02Speaker 2: And there's a lot of people in the in the
- 23:06Speaker 2: Ramadwaji security detail going because I don't think they wanted
- 23:11Speaker 2: to go to Syria or Lebanon. Doesn't sound like a
- 23:13Speaker 2: lot of fun right now. Anyway, we got a lot
- 23:16Speaker 2: to get to. We'll take some calls a little later
- 23:18Speaker 2: on and we'll get to Iran. The president has a
- 23:22Speaker 2: new strategy. Now, see what you think of that, all
- 23:24Speaker 2: that and more. Just ahead, Mark Simone here nine to noon,
- 23:28Speaker 2: every morning here on seven to ten WR It's.
- 23:32Speaker 1: The Mark Simon Show, live from the DOBR Life Back studios.
- 23:41Speaker 10: Hey, we'll take some calls in in a minute. Eight
- 23:43Speaker 10: hundred three to two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 23:48Speaker 10: You can talk about whatever you want, but let me
- 23:49Speaker 10: know what you think of the new first hour nine
- 23:52Speaker 10: to noon ideas, suggestions.
- 23:55Speaker 2: This always goes badly whenever you do that. But eight
- 23:58Speaker 2: hundred three one zero seven to ten is the number
- 24:03Speaker 2: that Mangioni Luigi Mangioni trial about to get underway. It's
- 24:08Speaker 2: going to be a real, real circus now. The judge
- 24:12Speaker 2: has made all kinds of rulings, so many people want
- 24:14Speaker 2: to be there. There will be in an overflow room
- 24:19Speaker 2: because eighty extra news organizations are expected, eighty more than usual.
- 24:24Speaker 2: And then you got these whatever they call them, these
- 24:26Speaker 2: Luigi Mangione groupies that are all over the place. There's
- 24:31Speaker 2: going to be tons of fans out believe or not.
- 24:35Speaker 2: This mass not mass, but this vicious killer has all
- 24:39Speaker 2: kinds of fans, so they'll be outside cheering. And the
- 24:44Speaker 2: judge has ruled that the jurors everybody working on the case, jurors,
- 24:48Speaker 2: prosecutors will be anonymous because there is potential for intimidation
- 24:54Speaker 2: and harassment by the accused killers sickest fans you see.
- 25:00Speaker 2: No matter how bad you are, you're gonna have fans.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Whether you're El Sayad, whether you're Luichi Manngi Own, no
- 25:07Speaker 2: matter what crazy things you say or do, you will
- 25:10Speaker 2: have fans. There's a lot of fight now for having
- 25:14Speaker 2: cameras in the courtroom. That's not gonna happen. I don't
- 25:18Speaker 2: think so. But and they're fighting over you know what, evidence.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Every INChO Manhattan has a surveillance camera on it. In
- 25:25Speaker 2: this shooting, which took place right over there, right across
- 25:28Speaker 2: the street from here, there's surveillance cameras everywhere. You can
- 25:33Speaker 2: see the shooting from every angle you can see it.
- 25:36Speaker 2: I don't know what the I don't know what the
- 25:38Speaker 2: trial's even for. You got him. I don't know why
- 25:40Speaker 2: he doesn't just confess. They got him. Here it is
- 25:42Speaker 2: on video. You can watch him do the whole thing.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Then you can see him run into that They call
- 25:49Speaker 2: it an alley, but it's actually as Fisher Park. It's
- 25:51Speaker 2: quite beautiful between two buildings and then it came right
- 25:56Speaker 2: over this way, and you can see him change his close.
- 25:59Speaker 2: You can see every anyway. Let's take some calls. Eight
- 26:02Speaker 2: hundred three to two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike, how you doing?
- 26:10Speaker 12: Good morning, Mark as Mike, I'm back in the car.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Oh good, I was driving its Florida as if you
- 26:17Speaker 2: have to go, it's Florida.
- 26:19Speaker 16: What do you exactly, I drive around in circles.
- 26:22Speaker 7: Okay, you know what with Clinton?
- 26:27Speaker 16: With Hillary Clinton sails to mention is that Trump had
- 26:29Speaker 16: to put all that gold on the walls to hide
- 26:31Speaker 16: all the stains sea.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Okay, wait a minute. Actually, you know, it's actually kind
- 26:40Speaker 2: of a myth. The encounter with President Clinton and Monica
- 26:45Speaker 2: was not actually in that room. It's the Oval office,
- 26:48Speaker 2: is that big Oval office. But then there's a little
- 26:51Speaker 2: you see one of those doors. You go down a
- 26:53Speaker 2: little little hallway into the private office. That's the president's
- 26:58Speaker 2: private office. And then also in there's a little private
- 27:01Speaker 2: dining room there. So that's where all the Clinton uh
- 27:05Speaker 2: cigar escapades. That's where it took place. It wasn't actually
- 27:11Speaker 2: in the actual Oval office, but.
- 27:12Speaker 16: It's well and there's also our tier stains probably all
- 27:15Speaker 16: over the you know, like Hillaris tear stays all over
- 27:18Speaker 16: the walls as well, so it's.
- 27:19Speaker 15: You know, either way, it's to be covered up.
- 27:23Speaker 12: I liked, I liked the first hour. I would have preferred, you.
- 27:25Speaker 16: Know, I think like many people i've heard to speak,
- 27:28Speaker 16: you know, on the you know, Colon say they would
- 27:30Speaker 16: preferred it from ten to one. But I understand why
- 27:32Speaker 16: they did.
- 27:33Speaker 2: I can't move. Bucking play, very popular show. Everybody loves
- 27:37Speaker 2: Bucking Clinton. They're up to like ten million listeners now,
- 27:40Speaker 2: doing very.
- 27:40Speaker 16: Very Are you thinking of maybe adding a guest in
- 27:44Speaker 16: the first hour like you're doing the second and third
- 27:46Speaker 16: hour now, or you're.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Still feeling we don't need a guest doing in the
- 27:50Speaker 2: first hour.
- 27:52Speaker 16: No, I don't think so.
- 27:53Speaker 12: I think it's I think the way it's set up
- 27:55Speaker 12: is nice.
- 27:56Speaker 2: Some shows that are all guests, they'll have like thirty
- 27:58Speaker 2: seven guests every show. Do you think they're getting.
- 28:00Speaker 12: Pissed but you have something to say.
- 28:02Speaker 16: You're smart and you have something to say those those
- 28:04Speaker 16: hosts don't have anything to say, so you need to
- 28:06Speaker 16: steal it up.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Well, No, you know what it is. If I'm listening
- 28:08Speaker 2: to a show and they go coming up next, we're
- 28:10Speaker 2: going to talk to Senator Ron Johnson. I don't want
- 28:13Speaker 2: to hear that for ten minutes. Who want to listen
- 28:15Speaker 2: Ron Johnson? I mean, he's a nice guy. I love
- 28:19Speaker 2: him as a senator, but I don't want to hear him.
- 28:21Speaker 7: You know, I'm with you.
- 28:23Speaker 17: I'm with you, all.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Right, Thanks for calling.
- 28:25Speaker 18: You know.
- 28:26Speaker 2: I love Mike Johnson. He's great. Do you speaker of that?
- 28:28Speaker 2: Love the guy. But sometimes I you know, you run
- 28:31Speaker 2: into him or you're sitting with him on the couch
- 28:32Speaker 2: in the green room and you got to make conversation
- 28:35Speaker 2: for ten minutes. It's not a lot of fun. It's
- 28:38Speaker 2: you know, you don't need all that. I mean, there's
- 28:40Speaker 2: some guests you want to hear, but ninety percent of
- 28:43Speaker 2: them you really don't need. Let's go to Rich in
- 28:47Speaker 2: Myrtle Beach. Rich How you doing?
- 28:49Speaker 5: Hey?
- 28:50Speaker 9: Thanks?
- 28:50Speaker 12: Mark? How you doing? Yeah?
- 28:51Speaker 19: I like the first hour, you know, and guess what's
- 28:54Speaker 19: in a while.
- 28:54Speaker 5: Would be good?
- 28:55Speaker 19: But a setup pretty well the way it is. You know, no,
- 28:59Speaker 19: no to the ficialist country other than the president should
- 29:02Speaker 19: ever have a security detail paid for by the American taxpayer.
- 29:06Speaker 19: If they're leaving this country, like when Pelosi and all
- 29:08Speaker 19: those people went over to to see what's his name
- 29:12Speaker 19: over there in Ukraine. None of us should be paid
- 29:14Speaker 19: for by taxpayer.
- 29:15Speaker 2: You go somewhere tis vacation official, especially in Congress, they
- 29:19Speaker 2: do have to make a foreign trip for some legitimate
- 29:22Speaker 2: government purpose.
- 29:24Speaker 19: Well you went on a lot of them, like they're
- 29:25Speaker 19: taking all their friends on the air force plane like
- 29:28Speaker 19: Pelosi didn't. So we shouldn't be paying for that stuff.
- 29:31Speaker 19: And down here when I came home last night, Lindsey
- 29:34Speaker 19: Graham's sister was in a runoff with the Ralph Norman,
- 29:39Speaker 19: the second place winning nobody reached fifty percent. I don't
- 29:42Speaker 19: know why w R is reporting that she won her primary.
- 29:45Speaker 2: She didn't well check into it, but I think everybody
- 29:47Speaker 2: else is reporting that. But we'll see, we'll see. He's
- 29:50Speaker 2: not that pocket you have to hit. You're in South Carolina,
- 29:53Speaker 2: right right, And Lindsey Graham is not as popular as
- 29:57Speaker 2: we might believe in South Carolina's.
- 30:00Speaker 19: Not at all, and the sister's going to be even
- 30:01Speaker 19: less popular. Listen is still a red stake. She's still
- 30:04Speaker 19: gonna win if if she ends up winning the primary
- 30:06Speaker 19: against Ralph Norman. Who's a career politician swamp monster down here.
- 30:10Speaker 19: It's you know, it's between besides the inbreeding and all
- 30:13Speaker 19: the backdoor policies down here in the politicians. This is
- 30:17Speaker 19: old school Southern you know politics down here. No matter
- 30:21Speaker 19: who runs, if they're read, they're going to win this state.
- 30:25Speaker 19: All right. It's just the corruption is unbelievable down.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Heah, all right, well, thanks for the insight. He is
- 30:31Speaker 2: in South Carolina. Thanks for calling. Yeah, sometimes these congress people,
- 30:35Speaker 2: it is a legitimate trip, like if they're going over
- 30:37Speaker 2: to Ukraine to meet with Zolenski, that can be a
- 30:40Speaker 2: legitimate government purpose, so taxpayers, I guess should pay for it,
- 30:44Speaker 2: although I don't know. Can't you zoom with the guy?
- 30:48Speaker 2: I mean, you ever really have to go over there.
- 30:49Speaker 2: And then a lot of these government trips they create
- 30:52Speaker 2: a government purpose because they all want to go to
- 30:54Speaker 2: Paris or something, and these government you know, when a
- 30:57Speaker 2: bunch of congressmen go on one of these, very often
- 31:01Speaker 2: it's a big military plane, and many times the congressman
- 31:05Speaker 2: the military plane there is a bit of a cargo
- 31:08Speaker 2: plane as well. Now why would they need a cargo
- 31:10Speaker 2: type plane, Well, because if they're going to visit the
- 31:13Speaker 2: South Korea to talk with leaders in South Korea, and
- 31:18Speaker 2: congressmen have told me this. Some are pretty honest and
- 31:20Speaker 2: they don't like it. As they come back to the plane,
- 31:23Speaker 2: they noticed the cargo hold is being loaded up with TVs,
- 31:26Speaker 2: with washing machines, with Samsung stuff and LG and South
- 31:32Speaker 2: Korean product because they're all gifts for the congressman and
- 31:36Speaker 2: they'll bring them all back. Let's go to one more.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Carl in Sayerville, New Jersey. Carl, how you doing, hi?
- 31:42Speaker 19: Mark?
- 31:43Speaker 18: You know, I got a kick out of Acastio Court
- 31:46Speaker 18: that's going on these talk shows on like Sunday or
- 31:49Speaker 18: on a weekend, and no one asks her how come
- 31:53Speaker 18: she denied Amazon from going in her district to build
- 31:57Speaker 18: a facility. No one asks her any about that.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Well, that's why they call it fake news, because if
- 32:03Speaker 2: you watch the networks, if you watch CNNMSNBC, really not
- 32:08Speaker 2: getting any real news because they'll never ask they'll leave
- 32:12Speaker 2: out three quarters of the story. You're right, they won't
- 32:15Speaker 2: ask certain questions. They'll never ask anything. You know, if
- 32:18Speaker 2: my mom Donnie could do an interview, they'll never say
- 32:20Speaker 2: to them, hey, what happened those free buses? You never
- 32:22Speaker 2: came through with the free buses, and it's a problem.
- 32:27Speaker 2: You know again, meet the press, elsiad. They never asked
- 32:30Speaker 2: him anything. A Cassio Cortes, she was on the Sunday
- 32:33Speaker 2: Morning Show with Jonathan carl never asked her half the
- 32:37Speaker 2: things you're supposed to ask her. So yeah, let me
- 32:40Speaker 2: just point out it is true. Lindsey Graham's sister just
- 32:44Speaker 2: advances to the next round. Nobody got over fifty percent.
- 32:47Speaker 2: She will face Norman in a runoff, so she has
- 32:49Speaker 2: not won the nomination yet. She will face him in
- 32:54Speaker 2: a runoff. That's August twenty fifth, so there will be
- 32:58Speaker 2: a runoff, but she has advanced to the next level. Hey,
- 33:01Speaker 2: the other thing is Florida. Want you want a new governor.
- 33:05Speaker 2: You're losing Ron DeSantis because of term limits. He's been
- 33:08Speaker 2: a great governor, but you need a replacement that there's
- 33:12Speaker 2: Byron Donalds, who'd be the best choice. That primary is
- 33:16Speaker 2: coming up next Tuesday. It'll be the Florida governor primary.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Now on the Republican side, you got like twelve candidates.
- 33:23Speaker 2: Only a couple are really really have a shot. So
- 33:27Speaker 2: keep an eye on that next week. He don't forget
- 33:30Speaker 2: I'm here nine to noon every day. It's three hours
- 33:32Speaker 2: now night we start at nine o'clock now nine to
- 33:35Speaker 2: noon every weekday. Then at noon it's Bucking Clay with
- 33:38Speaker 2: an excellent show. And then you got the most listen
- 33:42Speaker 2: to radio show in America. You got Sean Handity three o'clock,
- 33:45Speaker 2: you got Jesse Kelly at six o'clock, very funny Jimmy
- 33:49Speaker 2: Fayla every night nine to midnight, and that's all here
- 33:52Speaker 2: on seven to ten WR it's.
- 33:55Speaker 7: The Mark Simone Show.
- 33:57Speaker 2: On sevent ten wor Well, not a bad day today,
- 34:03Speaker 2: looks like it's a very very very slight I got
- 34:06Speaker 2: ten percent chance of this should be a nice day,
- 34:08Speaker 2: A little less humid today, and then gets better and
- 34:11Speaker 2: better every day of the week. It is a slight
- 34:13Speaker 2: chance of a thunderstorm tomorrow, but otherwise less humid than
- 34:16Speaker 2: a lot less humid on the weekend, should be a
- 34:19Speaker 2: lot of sunshine, so it should be pretty nice. Now,
- 34:21Speaker 2: I don't forget. I start at nine o'clock now it's
- 34:24Speaker 2: nine to noon every weekday, So if you're still tune
- 34:28Speaker 2: in ten, you're missing the first hour nine to noon
- 34:31Speaker 2: every day. Back after the news with a lot to
- 34:33Speaker 2: get to coming up on seven to ten WR The.
- 34:37Speaker 20: Mark Simon Show, Delivery the News before it is on
- 34:42Speaker 20: seven ten wor.
- 34:46Speaker 2: Hey, we'll get to all the races last night. We'll
- 34:50Speaker 2: get to who won, who lost to Well, we'll get
- 34:53Speaker 2: all of that coming up President Trump. Hey, and by
- 34:56Speaker 2: the way, if you just tuned in, just so you know,
- 34:59Speaker 2: we started tine o'clock. Now the show is now nine
- 35:02Speaker 2: to noon. If you're just tuning in, you missed the
- 35:04Speaker 2: first hour. It's nine to noon every day now here
- 35:08Speaker 2: on seven to ten wor So. President Trump has a
- 35:11Speaker 2: new strategy when it comes to Iran, Trump is now floating.
- 35:18Speaker 2: They spoke with Actually, we did an interview on Real
- 35:21Speaker 2: America's Voice. You know what that is. It's okay, it's
- 35:25Speaker 2: not a cable. I don't know what it is. It's
- 35:28Speaker 2: you got Fox News, you got Newsmax. These are the
- 35:32Speaker 2: two big, you know, conservative cable. You got Fox Business.
- 35:37Speaker 2: That's very good too, especially Cudlow. That's probably the best
- 35:41Speaker 2: show to be watching every day. In fact, I'll be
- 35:43Speaker 2: on that today. But then you got these other things
- 35:46Speaker 2: called I can't remember what they're called. There's like Real
- 35:50Speaker 2: America's Voice, there's another one called one America. I mean
- 35:55Speaker 2: they got old. These are the like the little ones.
- 35:57Speaker 2: And sometimes they will you know, some of those shows
- 36:02Speaker 2: on there will call me to be on and I'll
- 36:04Speaker 2: say no, So I don't I don't know why President
- 36:06Speaker 2: Trump is doing it, but he likes to do interviews.
- 36:09Speaker 2: He does a lot of interviews. All right. Some of
- 36:12Speaker 2: you were saying, Hey, I've seen you on those shows
- 36:14Speaker 2: on Real America's Voice in the one net or whatever. Yeah,
- 36:19Speaker 2: once in a while, because I'm always working on my
- 36:21Speaker 2: TV setup at home. You know, get your little TV studio.
- 36:24Speaker 2: You can do a lot of shows from there. So
- 36:26Speaker 2: if I got to test a lighting or a new microphone,
- 36:29Speaker 2: that's why you do it, just to test it. I
- 36:30Speaker 2: shouldn't said that on the ear. But he's on this
- 36:33Speaker 2: Real America's Voice. He said. When it comes to Iran,
- 36:36Speaker 2: he's looking at a new, easy, relaxed war phase. I
- 36:43Speaker 2: don't know what that is, an easy relaxed war phase.
- 36:47Speaker 2: Trump said an interview that he's frustrated with Iran's devious
- 36:51Speaker 2: negotiators and felt that he could try to bop along.
- 36:58Speaker 2: That's a quote. He'll bop along and when the conflict
- 37:04Speaker 2: through financial leverage. Okay, now, This sounds terrible. This sounds
- 37:07Speaker 2: like the dumbest worst war strategy ever. Makes it sound
- 37:10Speaker 2: like he doesn't know what the hell he's doing. But
- 37:12Speaker 2: it's Donald Trump, so behind that is probably some incredible strategy.
- 37:18Speaker 2: Probably knows exactly what he's doing here. But he says,
- 37:21Speaker 2: we could just keep it alone. I don't know what
- 37:27Speaker 2: that means. We just keep it, he said, and they're
- 37:29Speaker 2: going to fail. We could just keep you know, doing
- 37:32Speaker 2: sort of like nice and easy, relaxed. These are quotes.
- 37:37Speaker 2: I'm sort of negotiating. You see, they're very devious negotiators.
- 37:41Speaker 2: They'll agree to something, then they'll go out and tell
- 37:44Speaker 2: the press they never agreed to it. They're very dishonest people. Now,
- 37:48Speaker 2: he said, the other option has hit them really really hard. Okay,
- 37:51Speaker 2: well that's the option most people want. But he said
- 37:54Speaker 2: the other option is just beat them economically, which we're doing.
- 37:59Speaker 2: And he said again here was that just bop along.
- 38:02Speaker 2: He's got to stop saying bop along, just bop along.
- 38:05Speaker 2: And look how bad they're doing because their nations they
- 38:08Speaker 2: got three hundred percent inflation, currency has no value at all,
- 38:13Speaker 2: they're not paying their soldiers, they're hang on. That's the
- 38:18Speaker 2: president now yelling at it. Where was I. They're not
- 38:22Speaker 2: paying their soldiers, Their soldiers are leaving, deserting, so just
- 38:28Speaker 2: keep this up. It's not sustainable for them. The country
- 38:34Speaker 2: is poised to just collapse. Yeah, all right, I don't know.
- 38:39Speaker 2: It doesn't sound good. It doesn't sound good, but who knows.
- 38:42Speaker 2: You never know with him. With him, he just sees
- 38:45Speaker 2: things down the road nobody else can see, so it might.
- 38:48Speaker 2: I don't think it sounds terrible, but that's that's checking
- 38:51Speaker 2: a month and see if he was right. The whole
- 38:53Speaker 2: place is collapsing, three hundred percent inflation. People, just regular
- 38:58Speaker 2: citizens now are forced to go into stories and just
- 39:00Speaker 2: steal food. You know, this is the Supreme Leadership Council,
- 39:04Speaker 2: which is a bunch of guys hiding in a cave.
- 39:07Speaker 2: They're out of They don't have an air force, they
- 39:09Speaker 2: don't have a navy, they don't have anything. So it's possible.
- 39:13Speaker 2: When he says do this for a couple of months,
- 39:15Speaker 2: I think he's talking about through the midterms. Just get
- 39:19Speaker 2: through the midterms, and then he can do whatever the
- 39:21Speaker 2: hell he wants. You can just level the whole place
- 39:22Speaker 2: after that, But you never know if it just collapses completely.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Now you might say, well, Russia keep supplying them, China
- 39:30Speaker 2: will keep supplying. Well, it's not going to work because
- 39:33Speaker 2: we took out all the railroads in that last round.
- 39:36Speaker 2: We just took away all their railroad lines. Got no
- 39:39Speaker 2: way to get stuff in there. So and by the way,
- 39:42Speaker 2: President Trump now jumping in on the Pieta terror attacks,
- 39:47Speaker 2: he finally has said something about it, and he said
- 39:50Speaker 2: it's just the dumbest, stupidest, amateur hour move. It's a
- 39:54Speaker 2: dangerous political experiment to just target people and to try
- 39:58Speaker 2: to tax them out of New York. He said, it
- 40:00Speaker 2: will destroy was once a great state and city. It's
- 40:04Speaker 2: pure amateur hour. He also said the federal government will
- 40:09Speaker 2: now look into it. It may be a totally illegal tax.
- 40:11Speaker 2: The court here in New York has stopped it and
- 40:14Speaker 2: temporarily and is looking at it. But it may be
- 40:19Speaker 2: it just may be a totally illegal thing, and maybe
- 40:21Speaker 2: the federal government can shut it down. But you probably
- 40:24Speaker 2: will never see that Pieta Terra tax. You got to remember,
- 40:27Speaker 2: whenever Mom Donnie promises anything, you're never going to live
- 40:30Speaker 2: to see it. You'll never see free buses in New York.
- 40:33Speaker 2: You will never see a government grocery store. They'll never
- 40:35Speaker 2: get one open, and you will never probably probably never
- 40:39Speaker 2: see this pieta terar tax. It was a rough thing
- 40:43Speaker 2: for people to all of a sudden hear about it,
- 40:45Speaker 2: because half the people don't know what the hell a
- 40:48Speaker 2: pieta terr a tax is. A pieta terr at tax.
- 40:50Speaker 2: You know, most people are running around looking for a
- 40:52Speaker 2: dictionary trying to look up pieta terror whatever the hell
- 40:55Speaker 2: that sounds like something you'd order in a French restaurant,
- 40:58Speaker 2: a pieta terr at tax. Also, lots of stuff going
- 41:02Speaker 2: on all over the place. CNN now on the warpath
- 41:07Speaker 2: because of El Sayad. You know this. You know his
- 41:11Speaker 2: name is what is his actual name, abdul Achmann El Sayad.
- 41:20Speaker 2: So some people are saying his full name. CNN going
- 41:24Speaker 2: crazy saying this is an anti Muslim attack. By using
- 41:28Speaker 2: his full name, it's anti Muslim. Well, you know they
- 41:32Speaker 2: did that with Obama when the President Trump, he'd say
- 41:36Speaker 2: Barack Hussein Obama, that's his name. Well, you're saying it
- 41:40Speaker 2: just to cause him problems. Well, yeah, I guess you could.
- 41:44Speaker 2: They did that with a Bush senior. You know, they
- 41:46Speaker 2: always called him George Herbert Walker Bush, trying to make
- 41:50Speaker 2: him sound like some preppy, you know, prep school, ivy League,
- 41:56Speaker 2: out of touch, elite, waspy elite, George Herbert walker bushyt
- 42:03Speaker 2: trying to make him sound like one of those Vineyard
- 42:05Speaker 2: vine type idiots. And it worked. It worked with some people.
- 42:09Speaker 2: So it's fair to say somebody's full name. If it's
- 42:12Speaker 2: his name, you should be able to say it. You
- 42:15Speaker 2: see that story about Mark Zuckerberg. He's got this incredible yacht,
- 42:18Speaker 2: three hundred million dollar yacht, three hundred million for this yacht.
- 42:24Speaker 2: You know, most of these guys only use the yacht
- 42:27Speaker 2: in the summer, and usually for a month like August.
- 42:30Speaker 2: Everybody uses their yacht for the month, and then maybe
- 42:32Speaker 2: Christmas they use the yacht. Maybe there's another vacation where
- 42:37Speaker 2: they go out on the yacht three hundred million for
- 42:39Speaker 2: like six weeks a year, five six weeks a year,
- 42:43Speaker 2: you know, for about two million. You get just charted
- 42:45Speaker 2: the yacht for the month. But he's out on his
- 42:48Speaker 2: three hundred million dollar yacht. But you got to remember,
- 42:51Speaker 2: if you're worth four hundred billion, three hundred million, that's
- 42:56Speaker 2: like thirty dollars. That's all it is to you. So
- 42:59Speaker 2: he's out of the yacht. You know, in a yacht
- 43:01Speaker 2: that size, you got a crew of probably twenty five people,
- 43:05Speaker 2: and there's a ship in trouble. There's a small ship
- 43:09Speaker 2: that's in trouble sending out calls that they're stranded. And
- 43:13Speaker 2: when you're out there, you're supposed to help any other
- 43:15Speaker 2: ship that needs help that puts out a distress call.
- 43:19Speaker 2: But the Zuckerberg yacht didn't bother. It was a twenty
- 43:23Speaker 2: one foot skiff that ran out of fuel and was stranded.
- 43:26Speaker 2: This is off the coast of Alaska, and you're supposed
- 43:29Speaker 2: to help the other ship, but they didn't. The Zuckerberg
- 43:33Speaker 2: three hundred million dollar yacht couldn't be bothered, and they
- 43:36Speaker 2: kept going. Zuckerberg is now defending the crew, saying they
- 43:40Speaker 2: did not hear the radio call. They were on a
- 43:43Speaker 2: different radio channel, monitoring another channel. Everybody pointing out it's
- 43:48Speaker 2: the default emergency radio frequency. All boats are expected to
- 43:53Speaker 2: monitor it at all times. However, Zuckerberg is saying, you
- 43:59Speaker 2: must answer a distress call, but this was a request
- 44:04Speaker 2: for help, not a distress call, and he's saying it's
- 44:08Speaker 2: a different category. They didn't have to answer that. It
- 44:11Speaker 2: just sounds pretty cheesy, three hundred million dollar yacht letting
- 44:15Speaker 2: this little twenty one foot skiff suffer out there. There's
- 44:19Speaker 2: actually no legal obligation that you have to help, but
- 44:23Speaker 2: it's just considered a normal procedure that you help. But
- 44:27Speaker 2: that's that's Zuckerberg for you. Now, last night you got
- 44:33Speaker 2: a lot of things happening election wise. You had Governor
- 44:36Speaker 2: Lamont winning the primary. He will seek reelection a lot
- 44:40Speaker 2: of other parties around the country. Nobody needs to hear him.
- 44:42Speaker 2: Now in this November, he'll be Lamont against the Republican
- 44:47Speaker 2: candidate Ryan Fazzio. Fazio is a very good guy. He'd
- 44:51Speaker 2: be a great governor, great Republican governor. So in November,
- 44:56Speaker 2: vote for Fazio, get rid of this Lamont. Lamont's sometimes
- 45:00Speaker 2: it's a good governor, but half the time he goes crazy,
- 45:03Speaker 2: woke and does all kinds of crazy things. Our buddy
- 45:07Speaker 2: Mike Lindell, he lost in Minnesota, did not get the nomination.
- 45:11Speaker 5: If we don't find anything, you know, then obviously I
- 45:16Speaker 5: will get behind.
- 45:17Speaker 2: And now he's going to start looking at the bots.
- 45:19Speaker 2: You know, this is not a good idea for Lindell.
- 45:21Speaker 2: You know, Lindell was quite the wealthy guy. My pillow
- 45:24Speaker 2: was quite a successful company, Great Pillows, Big Spot. I
- 45:27Speaker 2: think they were our single biggest advertiser here, and they
- 45:31Speaker 2: spent a ton of money. Remember how many my Pillow
- 45:33Speaker 2: ads there were. Well, he got into that dominion, you know,
- 45:37Speaker 2: election fraud, and it cost him a lot of money.
- 45:41Speaker 2: He got sued like crazy, you know, you know, everything
- 45:43Speaker 2: went wrong, And I don't think there's that much money
- 45:46Speaker 2: now in Lindell world. I think my pillow suffered financially.
- 45:49Speaker 2: Everybody suffered financially. And in fact, I think he's pretty
- 45:55Speaker 2: much had a step down from my pillow. He I
- 45:58Speaker 2: think owns a piece of it, but it's not running
- 46:01Speaker 2: it anymore. But a sign of what I'm saying is
- 46:05Speaker 2: Lindell did not spend much running for governor. He was
- 46:07Speaker 2: outspent like eleven to one. But he's now talking about
- 46:12Speaker 2: he shouldn't do this again. He's going to look at
- 46:14Speaker 2: the votes, and he doesn't. He's not conceding just yet.
- 46:18Speaker 2: Well like ninety eight percent of the vote is in.
- 46:21Speaker 2: Lindell lost by eleven points. That's not even close. So
- 46:25Speaker 2: I think you should just give that up and move
- 46:27Speaker 2: on the Waco. In Wisconsin, Hong, the one who want
- 46:34Speaker 2: to ban Thanksgiving, ban this ban, that ban everything you like.
- 46:37Speaker 2: Hong was defeated. So that's good news. Wisconsin got rid
- 46:42Speaker 2: of their woke socialist idiot. However, that's not the same
- 46:46Speaker 2: thing in Minnesota. And Minnesota they did vote in one
- 46:50Speaker 2: of these wacko socialists in the primary, So not a
- 46:54Speaker 2: good sign. But most likely Amy Klobacher will win and
- 46:57Speaker 2: be the next governor of of Minnesota and then you'll
- 47:01Speaker 2: see Tim Waaltz out of office. I don't know what
- 47:04Speaker 2: the hell that guy's gonna do. One silly wacky guy.
- 47:08Speaker 2: Uh probably you know when you say I don't know
- 47:10Speaker 2: what he's gonna do. Whenever you say that, especially politician anybody,
- 47:15Speaker 2: whenever they leave, I don't know what he's going to do. Well,
- 47:18Speaker 2: I know it's gonna be a podcast. Everybody ends up
- 47:21Speaker 2: with a podcast. Look at this, the Obamas are back.
- 47:25Speaker 2: You remember Michelle Obama had that podcast that was just awful,
- 47:29Speaker 2: just a disaster. It was the worst podcast ever. It
- 47:33Speaker 2: was Michelle Obama rambling about nothing. You know, she looks
- 47:37Speaker 2: very classy when you see her up there, she looks
- 47:39Speaker 2: very distinguished, looks classy. It looks. When you hear this podcast,
- 47:43Speaker 2: you realize this is a bubblehead who's got absolutely nothing
- 47:46Speaker 2: to say, nothing to say, not that bright, absolutely no
- 47:51Speaker 2: personality and nothing to say. So they're coming back to
- 47:54Speaker 2: the Obama's but this time it'll be Barack Obama with
- 47:57Speaker 2: her because he's a much better talker of you. See,
- 48:01Speaker 2: the new podcast will debut. Now, what do you think
- 48:03Speaker 2: they're going to be doing? The Barack Obama Michelle podcast.
- 48:08Speaker 2: It'll be about great books. Now. He said people don't
- 48:15Speaker 2: read like they used to read, and he wants to
- 48:17Speaker 2: get people reading again. It will focus on great Well,
- 48:20Speaker 2: if people don't do something anymore, it's because they don't
- 48:24Speaker 2: want to do it anymore. And if they really don't
- 48:25Speaker 2: want to do it anymore, the last thing they're looking
- 48:27Speaker 2: for is a podcast about something they don't like. But
- 48:30Speaker 2: he's going to be about six great books. He will
- 48:33Speaker 2: focus on the six great books. The podcast will be
- 48:36Speaker 2: called a Great Book with Barack Obama. Hell of a title.
- 48:40Speaker 2: Huh the books? Let me see what the books are?
- 48:44Speaker 2: The Fire Next Time by James Baldwin, Song of Solomon
- 48:50Speaker 2: by Tony Morrison. See these are all Barack Obama type books.
- 48:56Speaker 2: Tinker Taylor soldier spy. That's John Lecare who's great to
- 49:00Speaker 2: British spy writer. Okay, it's a good book, but you
- 49:03Speaker 2: know what, rather watch a James Bond movie than read
- 49:06Speaker 2: that thing. All the King's Men by Robert Penwarren, that's
- 49:09Speaker 2: a classic about Huey Long, you know, southern politician. But again,
- 49:14Speaker 2: if you're not in politics, you don't think, don't want
- 49:16Speaker 2: to read that. These are extremely outdated books. This is
- 49:20Speaker 2: a recipe for disaster this podcast. So remember when you
- 49:26Speaker 2: were in high school, you were they make you read
- 49:28Speaker 2: these books and you didn't know what the hell you
- 49:30Speaker 2: were reading. They made you read these books. Remember one
- 49:32Speaker 2: of them was what the hell was that book called
- 49:35Speaker 2: Silas Marner. Remember that, I don't know what the hell
- 49:40Speaker 2: I was reading? And you had to take a test
- 49:42Speaker 2: on it, like so you had to pretend to read it,
- 49:45Speaker 2: and then you'd get the cliff notes, and even in
- 49:47Speaker 2: the cliff notes, you couldn't figure out what the hell
- 49:49Speaker 2: this book was about or why you were reading it.
- 49:51Speaker 2: And they talk about what a great important literature, this
- 49:55Speaker 2: what a novel. It's a most boring stupid you notice
- 49:58Speaker 2: you never saw a movie Silas Mark there may have
- 50:01Speaker 2: been one, but you know this totally bumped because there's
- 50:03Speaker 2: nothing there. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next. Eight hundred
- 50:07Speaker 2: three two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight
- 50:11Speaker 2: hundred three two one zero seven ten is mister New
- 50:16Speaker 2: York Mark simone whre Wow. Listen out, dude, bud voice.
- 50:22Speaker 2: That's that's the great Jim Kurr there. When he puts
- 50:27Speaker 2: that voice way down there alone ego phones like that, that's
- 50:30Speaker 2: very impressive. But hey, we'll take some calls. Eight hundred
- 50:33Speaker 2: three two one zero seven ten is let's get some
- 50:37Speaker 2: new callers. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 50:42Speaker 2: Let's go to Jack in Boston. Jack, how you doing.
- 50:46Speaker 12: Good morning, Mock. Yes, been years since you and I
- 50:49Speaker 12: have talked.
- 50:50Speaker 21: Years.
- 50:50Speaker 2: Yes. By the way, let me just explain for the audience.
- 50:53Speaker 2: My name up there in Boston is Mock.
- 50:56Speaker 7: That's correct, but mock and they havesk you.
- 50:59Speaker 12: What's the school rust, Mark? I know people that know you.
- 51:02Speaker 12: You went to school in Boston.
- 51:03Speaker 2: Yeah, in Boston they make everything hard for these people
- 51:07Speaker 2: to pronounce. There's the famous Star Market is the big
- 51:09Speaker 2: food chain, and up there it's.
- 51:11Speaker 7: The Star Market.
- 51:14Speaker 12: Yeah Market, it's not Star it's Star, the.
- 51:16Speaker 2: Style Market and the Star twenty four.
- 51:19Speaker 12: And it's not coffee. It's coffee. Like you say, people
- 51:23Speaker 12: from New York. I always say coffee.
- 51:25Speaker 2: It's coffee, all right.
- 51:26Speaker 12: But coffee not corfe. There's no iron coffee.
- 51:30Speaker 2: I got from the Midwest actually originally, but I guess
- 51:33Speaker 2: I've picked up a little New York accent.
- 51:36Speaker 7: Marke.
- 51:36Speaker 12: I used to love your show on Saturday What Happened?
- 51:38Speaker 2: I remember the show, Oh, Saturday Night, that was the
- 51:41Speaker 2: oldie show. Yeah, the music show, the oldie show.
- 51:43Speaker 12: When you do you remember when you had the host
- 51:45Speaker 12: of Hollywood Squares on. He was ninety years old at
- 51:48Speaker 12: the time, about fifteen years ago.
- 51:49Speaker 2: Peter Marshall's name Peter Marshall, Peter Marshall or as you guys,
- 51:53Speaker 2: Peter Marshall.
- 51:56Speaker 12: He was ninety at the time.
- 51:58Speaker 2: Yeah, he was a great guy.
- 52:00Speaker 12: Is did he pass away?
- 52:02Speaker 2: I think he's still alive. But you know what, go
- 52:04Speaker 2: to any when you go to a podcast app, just
- 52:06Speaker 2: type in Peter Marshall. He does a lot of podcasts.
- 52:09Speaker 2: He is one of the most funniest storytellers. Tell us
- 52:12Speaker 2: the greatest show business stories. Good. Just google Peter Marshall
- 52:16Speaker 2: on a podcast and look for him.
- 52:19Speaker 12: What do you want to say one of the great
- 52:20Speaker 12: game show hosts of all time too, macau It's not
- 52:23Speaker 12: a good thing that Hong lost. I'll tell you why,
- 52:26Speaker 12: because Tiffany, who was going to be the who was
- 52:29Speaker 12: going to be the governor of Wisconsin, would have thrashed
- 52:32Speaker 12: her big time. He would have won by twenty points.
- 52:34Speaker 12: Now the other guy, Crowley, is going to be Tiffany
- 52:37Speaker 12: because he's a woke Democrat. He's a file left Democrat,
- 52:40Speaker 12: and he's out of the establishment. It was bad that
- 52:43Speaker 12: you just said that it's a good thing Hong lost.
- 52:45Speaker 12: It's a bad thing that it's.
- 52:47Speaker 2: Still a good thing one lost. We don't want to
- 52:48Speaker 2: see any of these honks around. We just want to
- 52:51Speaker 2: get rid of these honks. We don't.
- 52:53Speaker 12: We need more normal people in these offices.
- 52:56Speaker 2: In Boston, you got the most wacko left wing mayor governor.
- 53:00Speaker 12: Please don't don't get me sick. Don't They just passed
- 53:02Speaker 12: an abortion a lot. You can have an abortion up
- 53:04Speaker 12: until nine months. It's so it's so sickening. I know
- 53:07Speaker 12: you're a pro choice, but I don't. I don't believe
- 53:09Speaker 12: in abortion at nine months. And this whole state doesn't
- 53:13Speaker 12: we don't have This is.
- 53:15Speaker 2: Not a problem. I think you're gonna need to worry about.
- 53:17Speaker 12: But please, Mack, this is this is an awful, awful state,
- 53:21Speaker 12: just like New York State. It's just and don't you
- 53:24Speaker 12: know have have have Bruce Blakeman on as much as
- 53:26Speaker 12: you can mock.
- 53:27Speaker 2: We do, we do, we do, we do. Anyway, it's
- 53:31Speaker 2: only a three hours. You got to stop at some point. Anyway,
- 53:34Speaker 2: great talking you. I just want to make thanks good,
- 53:36Speaker 2: thanks for calling. Call more often. Let's go to uh,
- 53:39Speaker 2: Bob and the beautiful Naples, Florida. Bob. How you doing?
- 53:44Speaker 5: Yep?
- 53:44Speaker 12: It's beautiful, is it?
- 53:47Speaker 9: Well?
- 53:47Speaker 12: I got something to say about this.
- 53:49Speaker 7: So this bopping around, I ran.
- 53:54Speaker 15: It.
- 53:54Speaker 12: That's that's a smacking of faced American people, which we're
- 53:57Speaker 12: taught to four weeks, five week war.
- 53:58Speaker 7: Now we're into seven months.
- 54:00Speaker 2: Let's not get let's get let's let's not get carried away.
- 54:03Speaker 2: It's not a smack in the face to the American people.
- 54:07Speaker 2: It sounded like a Democrat now, hyperbolic, hysterical. It's a
- 54:10Speaker 2: dumb thing for the president to say. You shouldn't say, uh,
- 54:14Speaker 2: we're going to have an easy relaxed word and we're bopping.
- 54:16Speaker 2: That's kind of dumb. I wouldn't have said it. But
- 54:18Speaker 2: it's not a slap in the face to the American
- 54:20Speaker 2: PIA getting rid of Iran's nuclear stuff and finally stopping
- 54:24Speaker 2: their terrorist activities. It's still a good thing. Let's go
- 54:28Speaker 2: to Mitch in Iowa. Mitch, how you doing?
- 54:32Speaker 21: Hey good, Marquee. I was talking about some books here
- 54:35Speaker 21: with my wife, and I said, do you remember that
- 54:38Speaker 21: Bill O'Reilly wrote a novel called Those Who Trespass?
- 54:43Speaker 7: No?
- 54:43Speaker 21: I know, it's actually really good.
- 54:44Speaker 2: Okay, what sounds good. He's a good writer. He writes
- 54:47Speaker 2: some good books. What do you do?
- 54:49Speaker 21: I don't know why he doesn't write more.
- 54:50Speaker 2: Well, he's got another book coming out. It's called Confronting America.
- 54:54Speaker 21: That's yeah, but I mean novels anyway, I.
- 54:56Speaker 2: Like nonfiction books better. What do you do in Iowa?
- 55:01Speaker 21: I'm retired.
- 55:02Speaker 2: Oh what did you do?
- 55:05Speaker 21: I was in a tech business.
- 55:09Speaker 7: They have tech in Iowa.
- 55:10Speaker 2: I can't believe that. Oh my god, what like a
- 55:13Speaker 2: butter churn or something. What kind of tech do they have?
- 55:15Speaker 22: No?
- 55:15Speaker 21: It was it was wireless.
- 55:17Speaker 2: Wireless in Iowa. Look at you people. Yeah, you're really
- 55:19Speaker 2: progressing there. I like that. All right, thanks for calling, Mitch.
- 55:23Speaker 2: Take care. Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how
- 55:26Speaker 2: you doing?
- 55:27Speaker 17: Good morning?
- 55:28Speaker 9: Mark?
- 55:28Speaker 17: Before I get to my main point, the only problem
- 55:31Speaker 17: with this relaxed war is the gas companies are not
- 55:36Speaker 17: really taking their foot off the gas.
- 55:38Speaker 2: Oh yeah, they are.
- 55:39Speaker 7: A little record.
- 55:41Speaker 17: Is gallop for right?
- 55:43Speaker 2: Yeah, that's New York. It's it's not it's not that
- 55:45Speaker 2: much everywhere else. That's that's all New York state and
- 55:48Speaker 2: local tax.
- 55:48Speaker 17: All right? Does everyone speaking about.
- 55:51Speaker 2: Right now is eighty two dollars a barrel? Which is
- 55:54Speaker 2: it's not really low, but it's not really high either.
- 55:56Speaker 17: It's okay speaking about uh, residents and senators and wives
- 56:03Speaker 17: of maris and wives of presidents abusing the office. Does
- 56:07Speaker 17: anybody remember the summer before Barack Obama's mandate was over,
- 56:12Speaker 17: Michelle went on a vacation and she took thirty guests
- 56:17Speaker 17: with heart on what was it air Force one or
- 56:20Speaker 17: one of the Air Force planes?
- 56:22Speaker 2: And yeah, you're right, you're right, good point. No complaining
- 56:26Speaker 2: about that from the press.
- 56:28Speaker 17: Oprah Winfrey was on that. I mean, Oprah Wimfrey could
- 56:31Speaker 17: pay for everybody else, but that was all on.
- 56:34Speaker 2: The arm, but decent. Be honest, if you were married
- 56:36Speaker 2: to Michelle Obama, wouldn't you want her to take a
- 56:39Speaker 2: long vacation.
- 56:40Speaker 17: Yeah, I definitely will, Alvin the Chipmunk's wife, That's what
- 56:46Speaker 17: Michelle Obama looks like to me. She looks like she
- 56:49Speaker 17: stored a bunch of peanuts in her gay.
- 56:53Speaker 2: Thanks for calling. That's a good call. Yeah. Now it's
- 56:58Speaker 2: if you were married to her. You can see that
- 56:59Speaker 2: looking Obama's face that she must be as much as
- 57:03Speaker 2: a pain in the next years in public, imagine in private. Hey,
- 57:06Speaker 2: when we come back, we'll talk to Roger Friedman, the
- 57:09Speaker 2: Great Entertainment Reporter. Now, what's going on with all these guys?
- 57:12Speaker 2: You know they're we love them all, but they're getting
- 57:14Speaker 2: too old to tour. And you know, we'll get the
- 57:17Speaker 2: Rod Stewart and Frankie Valley and all of those. Also,
- 57:21Speaker 2: there's a new Carly Simon album and we got a
- 57:24Speaker 2: lot to talking about. We'll do that next on seven
- 57:26Speaker 2: to ten wo.
- 57:27Speaker 1: R Mark Simon Live from the WR Life Back Studio.
- 57:35Speaker 2: Well, Roger Friedman, the Great Entertainment Reporter, you should check
- 57:38Speaker 2: out his website. A lot of great stories there, showbiz
- 57:41Speaker 2: for one one dot com and this new stuff every
- 57:43Speaker 2: day showbiz for one one dot com. Roger Friedman, how
- 57:48Speaker 2: you doing.
- 57:49Speaker 7: I'm great.
- 57:50Speaker 4: I'm getting ready for the solar eclips today? Is that today? Yeah,
- 57:56Speaker 4: it's at one o'clock, one o'clock today. You can watch
- 57:59Speaker 4: it on CNN and everywhere. Wan o'clock this afternoon. Yeah,
- 58:03Speaker 4: one o'clock this afternoon. Can I see the solar eclips
- 58:06Speaker 4: all over North America? And I can see it in
- 58:08Speaker 4: Manhattan to Europe? I think you can see yes, I
- 58:12Speaker 4: think you can see it.
- 58:13Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 58:14Speaker 2: Oh, because at one o'clock this afternoon, I'm am seeing
- 58:16Speaker 2: a luncheon which is which is? But it's very high
- 58:21Speaker 2: up at the top of a skyscraper and it's fantastic
- 58:24Speaker 2: all windows. So are you telling me it's going to
- 58:27Speaker 2: get dark in the middle of that?
- 58:29Speaker 12: I know.
- 58:30Speaker 4: But you have to bring your little glasses, you know,
- 58:32Speaker 4: the uh oh, the special glasses that you look through
- 58:35Speaker 4: because you don't want to look directly at the sun.
- 58:38Speaker 7: Yeah, but otherwise you'll have a problem. But you know that.
- 58:42Speaker 4: Conlie Simon sang about that about the taking your leer jet.
- 58:47Speaker 7: Up to the sky.
- 58:48Speaker 2: Wait wait, wait, I'll tell you what's on You're So Vain?
- 58:50Speaker 2: That was the song You're So Vain?
- 58:52Speaker 4: Yeah, And she has a new album coming out tomorrow
- 58:55Speaker 4: night at Midnight, to her first album in eighteen years,
- 58:59Speaker 4: and it's fabulous. It's got already got two hits on
- 59:02Speaker 4: it and it's getting rave reviews.
- 59:05Speaker 2: Now. There's one song where she sort of says about
- 59:08Speaker 2: James Taylor, I never really loved you? Is that true?
- 59:11Speaker 7: She says? The question is yeah, she says, did I
- 59:14Speaker 7: really love here? Did you really love me? It's a
- 59:17Speaker 7: cool song.
- 59:18Speaker 4: Actually, it's very it's as you can imagine, it's very
- 59:21Speaker 4: catchy because that's a Carly Simon melody.
- 59:24Speaker 2: I still can't imagine Carly Simon married to James Taylor,
- 59:27Speaker 2: to be honest about it, I just can't.
- 59:29Speaker 7: Eleven years.
- 59:30Speaker 4: Yeah, that they have two children, there's several grandchildren, and
- 59:35Speaker 4: I know it's hard to believe, but it happened.
- 59:37Speaker 2: So she's got a new album coming out. How does
- 59:39Speaker 2: her voice sound?
- 59:40Speaker 4: Her voice sounds perfect. She couldn't sound better. It's an
- 59:46Speaker 4: album full of hits. It's called Comes Comes in Waves,
- 59:51Speaker 4: and I think people are really gonna like it. And
- 59:55Speaker 4: already the response to the first two songs. One song
- 59:58Speaker 4: is called Peaches, and once song is called Hell which
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: I call which has a great line, and called love
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: a Lawyer. But it's it's already happening on Amazon and
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: actually comes out at midnight tomorrow night. But in the meantime,
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: you can fly your leer jet up to Nova Scotia.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: Yeah. Now that song You're So Vain, We're pretty sure
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: it was Warren Batty. Has that been.
- 1:00:22Speaker 7: I think so, don't you?
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: I think it is. But she's always been cagey about it.
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: Sometimes she said it's about it's three different people, yeah, uh, combined.
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: But it is one of the great uh you know,
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: Taylor Swift points to these songs. Now you have to
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: guess who they're about. But the original person who did
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: it was Carly Yeah, you know she was really uh
- 1:00:45Speaker 4: and and Taylor Swift, you know, revers her so much
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: that she's asked her to come be on stage with
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: her to sing You're So Vain really, which is pretty interesting.
- 1:00:55Speaker 7: Yes, she's done it several times. Yeah. Now some of
- 1:00:59Speaker 7: the so that's so it's a big music week.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: Yeah, but some of these older artists, we love him,
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: they're the elder Statesman, but they probably too old to tour.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: You know, Rod Stewart was thank you Rod Stewart, Well,
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: Franky Valley, listen. He's ninety two.
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: He's very fragile, and they had him until about six
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: months ago. They had him out there touring all the time,
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: so that was enough, and now he looks like he's
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: packing it in. Rod Stewart is only eighty one, and
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: for the last few months people have been complaining that
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: he didn't seem really with it. Well, of course, it
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: turned out he needed a cardiac stent. He couldn't breathe.
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: Now he's going to be fine. Now he's going to
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: come back and be more Rod Stewart than ever he is.
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: But yes he is. But yeah, he was doing fine,
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: except that he really looked like he wasn't getting enough
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: oxygen and blood through his arteries and he probably had
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: a completely blocked artery. But it is now unblocked and
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: he's going to take off the next month or so
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: and not do anything and see.
- 1:02:05Speaker 7: How he feels. But you know, these kinds are human.
- 1:02:09Speaker 12: You know.
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: The thing is that we don't think rock stars are human,
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: but you know they are human, and they have the
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: same people have been canceling shows all summer young people too,
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: very weird. Yeah, but you know, I don't remember this
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: when we were young. I don't remember this when we
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: were young.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: No, at a certain age, you know, baseball player is
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: like at forty you retire, and football Tom Brady retire.
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: You don't keep trying to play at eighty. I mean
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: you've got to retire at some point.
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: Oh No, all the all the singers and all the
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: performers that we liked in the seventies are gonna They're
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: gonna they perform right up to the end. They're going
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: to be right on the stage when it's when it's
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: they're going to go straight from the stage to their funerals.
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: All right. There's gonna be nothing in between because they
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: don't do anything else. They don't play golf, you know,
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: they don't play tennis, they don't macrima. So they you know,
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: what are they going to do? They just want to
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: keep it. They don't even need the money. Really, they're
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: just like the perform Yeah.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Hey, this guy Ari Emanuel, he is a as you
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: watched Entourage, he was Ari Gold but he ended up
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: owning William Morris. He bought all these talent agents to them.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: But now what is he up to? Now he's buying
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: Broadway theaters? What is he up to?
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: So we used to have here in New York we
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: have the Schuberts and the needle Landers, and the third
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: biggest company was called Juw Jamsen and a couple of
- 1:03:25Speaker 4: years ago they sold out to something called ATG from
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: London and they and so ATG owns like sixty four
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: theaters around the world, but seven of them are on
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: Broadway in ten or in the West End in London.
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: And now ATG has sold to Ari Emmanuel, which is
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: going to be really interesting because we have a new
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: He's like the new power player in town. It's a
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: in one way, it's a big endorsement of Broadway that
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: he was somebody would come in and pay six billion
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: dollars to own all these theaters. The question is is
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: he going to be using this as a monopoly game
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: and flipping them or is he going to, you know,
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: hunker down and really support Broadway. So we'll have to see.
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: But he's definitely a Hollywood power player, which is unusual
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: to have on Broadway in the past. It's always been
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: just people who were interested in theater.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: Is he trying to be like a Live Nation where
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: he'll control venues, ticketing, have that kind of minay.
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: Well he's got he yes, I mean he's got a
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: few ticket agencies also, so he's trying to combine all
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: these different businesses. This is something you know, Live Nations
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: started this way with a guy named Bob Sillerman who
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: since since passed away. But he was the one who
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: originally thought, you know, live productions were going to be
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: the future, and now it's going to be Ari Emmanuel,
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: his brother was the mayor of Chicago and does talk
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: about running for president.
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: And his other brother is that ghoul of Zeka manual
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: that ghoulish?
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: Is he a ghoul? Yeah, we don't know anything about them,
- 1:05:03Speaker 7: but I don't know anything about the brother.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: The brother's the one that came up with the idea
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: of that we should have death panels to decide if
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: you're too old to get any treatment.
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: Now, yeah, that's that's something from like the Hunger Games
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: or something, right.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, Hey, what about the brought the movie box office?
- 1:05:24Speaker 7: You got?
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: Is this unusually? You got two of the biggest box
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: office hits ever PERI at the same time. How big
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: are they.
- 1:05:30Speaker 7: At the same time? Today?
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: In fact, very today as we speak, Spider Man is
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: hitting seven hundred million dollars in the United States. It's
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: way over a billion dollars worldwide, but seven hundred billion dollars.
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: And this is like we're week three or something. Yeah,
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: it's unbelievable. It's it's Spider Man's just going to keep
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: going and going and going until it hits one billion
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: dollars in America. And the Odyssey is doing very well.
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: It's heading toward five hundred right now, five hundred million dollars,
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: and the Odyssey is going to win every Oscar.
- 1:06:06Speaker 7: You don't even have to.
- 1:06:07Speaker 4: I would say, just give the oscars now to the
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: Odyssey and then move on to the other movies.
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: And it's worth seeing.
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: It's worth The Odyssey is fantastic. Now we are getting
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: a lot of great movies. I will say, I'm really
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: pushing the New York Film Festival this year. Tickets have
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: just gone on sale. It starts a September twenty fifth
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: at Lincoln Center, and they have a fantastic lineup. I'm
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: really impressed. It's probably the best lineup.
- 1:06:32Speaker 12: You know.
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: We have the Telluride Film Festival and the Toronto Film Festival,
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: and Venice and they're all good. But the New York
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: Film Festival really out of themselves this year and it's
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: just going to be one hit after another for two weeks.
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: So if you want to see what movies are coming
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: for the Oscars, that's the place to be in September.
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, we only have thirty seconds left, But go
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: back to Broadway from it. How well is Broadway doing it?
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: Is Broadway okay? Financially everything is good broad Yeah, Broadway's okay.
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: A lot of shows closed Wheregtime is closing at the
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: end of the on the weekend, but you know, a
- 1:07:07Speaker 4: bunch of new shows are coming and that's what happens.
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: And the theaters, you know, the producers have to be
- 1:07:14Speaker 4: more discerning about what they're going to bring in.
- 1:07:17Speaker 7: You can't just bring.
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: In a movie that's been turned into a musical. It
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: doesn't work. The shows have to be very creative, you know.
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: They've really had to have to have something behind them.
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: I'm looking forward to like people coming to Broadway in
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: the next two seasons. In the next season, you've got
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: Julia Louis dreyfe Is coming in. See you have really
- 1:07:39Speaker 4: some really good names. Now, yesterday they announced that Julian
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: Moore is going to be doing a show off Broadway
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: at City Center, which is really that's very exciting, and
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: that'll start in February. Laura, Lenny's coming in to do
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: a play in February on Broadway, so we're going to start.
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: We're going to get a much more serious season coming in.
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: This season was not u This season was sort of scattershot.
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: It wasn't that good. But you know what, it's cyclical
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: and it's never going to go away. Broadway will be
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: here long after we're gone. All right, Well, that's good
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: to hear. Great stuff. Roger Freeman. Check out his website.
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: It's Showbiz for one one dot com. It's a lot
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: more stories there that we didn't get to but and
- 1:08:20Speaker 4: there's new stuff every day.
- 1:08:21Speaker 7: Getting ready for that eclipse.
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: Oh yeah, one o'clock today, but check out the website.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: I'm getting check all right, Showbiz four one one dot com.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: Roger Friedman, thanks for being with us, Thank you, take care, hey,
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: and don't forget. At noon today it's Bucking Clay. Now.
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: I'm here now at nine o'clock every morning. It's now
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: a three hour show. So I'm on nine to noon.
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: Then at noon you got Buck and Clay noon to three.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: Then at three o'clock you got the most listened to
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: radio show in America, Sean Hannity. He got Jesse Kelly
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: at six and Jimmy Fail. You'll if you haven't been listening,
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: just start listening to Jimmy Fail. You'll get hooked. It's
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: a really show every night six every night from nine
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: to midnight. Here on seven to ten.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: W here's more marksimone on seven ten wor.
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: Well, Hey, it's gonna be a nice day to day.
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: It'll be less humid. I mean, it'll be a nicer
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: day than yesterday, and then tomorrow less humid, and it'll
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: just get a little cooler. We had that real feel
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: one hundred for a couple of days, so it'll drop
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: back to the mid eighties and low eighties by the weekend,
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: so it should be pretty nice the rest of the week.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: Solar eclipse today at one o'clock. It's supposed to be
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: mostly sunny around here. The eclipse will be visible. But
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: let me well, I'll figure this out and tell you
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: in the next hour twelve to fifty one pm. It'll
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: begin in New York and end around two forty five.
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: It might just get a little darker. Anyway, got a
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: lot to get to. One more hour to go, coming
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: up seven to ten. Wo he knows his way around
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: all this.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: It's the Mark Simone show on seven tenor.
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: Well, hey, it's our number three. That's right. It's three
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: hours every day, three hours every day, nine to noon.
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: So this is the third and final hour. A lot
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: going on. So here's the details. The solar eclipse is
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: today and as far as New York City it'll be.
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: It'll start at one oh seven pm am, no pm, Yeah,
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: one oh seven pm this afternoon, at one oh seven,
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: just after one o'clock, the eclipse will begin and continue
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: until two thirty eight pm. Now it's not over in
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: New York, so it's we're not going to get the
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: full eclipse. We'll get a partial eclipse. But what does
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: that mean exactly. I don't know exactly. I guess it'll
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: just get darker. It will not get completely dark. But
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: if you're outside and it suddenly is getting darker, it's
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: the eclipse. Maximum eclipse time is expected to be one
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: point fifty four pm. And remember you're not supposed to
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: look directly at the sun unless you have those stupid
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: eclipse glasses or whatever they are, do not look directly
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: at the sun. But I don't know anybody who normally
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: would look directly at the sun. I've seen people look
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: at the moon, but they don't just look up and
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: look at the sun. But it's today, so you'll see
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: it start to get dark. Hey, you're talking about the
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: James Dolan there, the owner of the Garden, the Knicks
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: and the Rangers and the Radio City and the Sphere
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: and all sorts of stuff. And they make a lot
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: of money obviously there. In fact, as you're just heard
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: on the news, starting tickets at the Knicks will be
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: two thousand dollars this seek. But this is interesting now
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: when it comes to Hochal and Bruce Blakeman. Blakeman was
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: way behind and slowly but surely he's catching up to Hochel.
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: This is what happened in Nassau County when he ran,
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: he was way behind. The county executive, Laura Kern, was
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: very popular. He's not going to beat her. And the
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: demos demographics in Nasau County were just like those of
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: New York and they would say Republican's not going to win,
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: not going to win, but it was Bruce Blakeman, and
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: slowly but surely he caught up and then he ended
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: up winning big. And it looks like that same exact
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: pattern is happening here in New York. He's getting closer
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: and closer and closer. Now the problem is, Hochel has
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: a lot of money. Hokeel hasn't a ton of money.
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: She's got twenty one million in cash on hand. She's
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: got an additional twenty two million coming from the state
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: Democratic Party. That would be forty three million. Blakeman has
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: raised eleven million dollars eleven million. She's got a lot
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: more money. Now Blakeman needs more money. And if you
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: want him to win, donate go to Blakemanfronewyork dot com,
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: Blakeman from New York dot com and make a donation.
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: Now a lot of this money, of course, comes from
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: the big donors, the big business guys in New York,
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: the big companies. And I'll say to these guys all
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: the time, you got to give to Blakeman. And they
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: love Blakeman. They're all secretly hoping Blakeman wins. They want Blakeman,
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: but they're afraid to donate. Some of them because D'll
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: tell you and I do a lot of business with
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: the state and Kathy Hokel, I don't want to get
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: her mad given to Blakeman, so they'll give to Hochel.
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: But some are afraid to give to her. So you
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: can make up for that. Go to Blakemanfromnewyork dot Com.
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: But good for James Dolan, Good for James Dolan. Look
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: at this, a James Dolan backed superpack is spending a
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: lot of money against Hochel. He's spending more than a
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: million dollars and he's got one thirty seconds that he's
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: going to be running all over the place. It's that
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: get out of town spot. Remember Hockel told everybody, all
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: the Republicans and Conservatives and all the rich guys, to
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: get out of town. She said, jump on a bus,
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: head down to Florida where you belong, literally said get
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: out of town. And then when she lost a lot
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: of the tax base, they cut these two things together
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: where she's making a speech because we need you back.
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: Tell your friends in Florida to come back. We need
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: them back. So it's a flip flopping, ridiculous looking Kathy
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: hople But Dolan is spending a million dollars running that
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: thirty second spot all over the place. Now it's mostly
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: digital and streaming platforms. By the way, let me explain
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: something to some people don't get this. They'll say about
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: somebody Blakeman or whoever. They'll say it, I don't see
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: his ads. I don't see I'm if you're watching TV,
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: regular TV, you're not supposed to see the ads. If
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: it's you know, the good old days a million years ago,
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: your RAN ads on the eleven o'clock news, your RAN
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: ads on channel four, Channel two, channel seven TV ads,
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: that doesn't mean anything anymore. Not very many people see them.
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: If you want to really be effective, you run digital
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: and streaming ads. Now, it's complicated how this works nowadays. Now,
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: for instance, let's say you're the Bruce Blakeman. You don't
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: have to run any ads here on WOOR or WABC
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: for that maney, You wouldn't run ads on stations where
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: they're all supporting you and every listener they've got, every
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: listener we got, it's probably voting for Blackman anyways. So
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: you don't run ads here. But but you want to
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: be on the breakfast club down the hall there. You
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: want to be on KTU over there you want to
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: be on. But the other thing we can do. We
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: have a lot of advertisers. You don't ever hear on
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: the air, believe it or not, a lot of our
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: advertisers don't. They're not on the air. They don't need
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: to be on the air because iHeart is the best
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: at this, the most sophisticated a digital advertising. So what
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: that means if you're let's say you're Blakeman or some
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: candidate and you know exactly what you want. We need
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: people in this district in Brooklyn, We need people in
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: this pocket of the Bronx. So you come here and
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: you same salespeople, but they'll sell you the digital ads,
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: so you can be all over our digital and iHeart
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: digital reaches hundreds of millions of people, so we'll put
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: you exactly where you want. Let's say you have a
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: law firm but you only do lost stuff in the
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: southern New Jersey. Well you come here and we put
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: you on the digital, but you're only being seen by everybody,
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: and that there are some cases where it's like a
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: restaurant and they only want to be reaching people within
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: two miles of their restaurant. So we could do that
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: digitally for you. It'll come up on everybody's digital on
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: their phones everywhere. And this goes on all the time now.
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: So when you're not seeing the ads all over you know,
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: Good Day in New York or the eleven o'clock News,
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: don't worry about that. That's that's not the big part
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: of advertising any you know, Like when you listen to
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: this show, we have listeners all over the country, So
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: we have some advertisers you're not hearing because they're only
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: hearing them in Florida. On a lot of people listen
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: on the stream. So if you're listening online on the
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: stream or on the app, you're hearing certain ads here
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: in New York. People in Florida are hearing different ads.
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: It's a much more complex business nowadays. Hey, here's some
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: This is sad news. You know, Lindsey Graham died with
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: heart problems of rip day order or whatever it was.
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: And it looks like the AP reporting that the medical
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: stuff has come out is all these reports and it
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: looks like he just never went to a doctor. You know,
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: he was seventy one and at that point, you know,
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: usually that point of your life, you're taking stuff every
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: day you take some blood pressure medicine or some what
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: do you call that, you know, statins, statins for cholesterol,
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: or you're taking that kind of it's normal. And apparently
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: he wasn't doing anything. He didn't never, according to this,
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: he didn't see a cardiologist ever. I mean, this is
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: terrible stuff, and it happens sometimes these older politicians. Look
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: at Joe Biden, the prostate cancer got out of control
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: and spread his wife saying that they never got the
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: prostate checked because according to the government recommendations after seventy
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: you don't need to check your prostate every year. That's ridiculous.
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: Of course you do. And I've asked a lot of
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: the top doctors around and they said, that is crazy.
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: Don't care how old anybody is. You always checked the prostate.
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: Had Biden been checking it every year, they would have
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: caught it right away and it would have been no problem.
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: Now he was president for four years and for four
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: years he was getting those official presidential Walter Reid Hospital physicals,
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: and those are the most thorough in the world. So
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: her story that the government recommendation is don't check that
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: doesn't make any sense. And if you look at the
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: reports on those physicals, they check about fifty things that
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: aren't recommended. They just check anything in everything. And even
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: if you know' do the manual prostate check. Obviously a
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: yearly physically, you got a blood test and that's where
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: you check the prostate too. And there's no doctor in
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: the world if he's ordering these blood tests, wouldn't ask
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: for the prostate test too. It's the same blood. So
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: it doesn't make any sense. But this, of course it's
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: Jill Biden saying this. Who knows what the real truth is.
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: Police Commissioner Jessica Tish all these numbers. Crime is down.
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: It is down overall. I mean it's up in some
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: areas where you don't want it to be up, but
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: here she is.
- 1:19:41Speaker 20: Through the first seven months of this year, in New
- 1:19:43Speaker 20: York City recorded the fewest murders, shooting incidents, and shooting
- 1:19:47Speaker 20: victims in recorded history. Major crime is down nearly seven
- 1:19:52Speaker 20: percent city wide, and public housing recorded it's safest first
- 1:19:55Speaker 20: seven months since tracking began.
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: Okay, good stuff, but some minor crime is up. You know,
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: you may not get shot or murdered, but where you've
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: got to worry about robberies, assaults, that kind of stuff.
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: And no fault of the NYPD or they just got
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: you know, so many cuts. There's not enough cops. There's
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: not enough.
- 1:20:13Speaker 20: This this milestone is a direct result of the NYPD's
- 1:20:17Speaker 20: precision policing strategy, putting officers where and when they are
- 1:20:22Speaker 20: needed most, identifying the people and the groups driving the violence,
- 1:20:27Speaker 20: and taking guns out of circulation before they can be
- 1:20:31Speaker 20: used to harm the Yorkers.
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: Okay, besides not enough manpower, they are doing a great
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: job with what.
- 1:20:36Speaker 20: They We cross that three thousand gun mark in July
- 1:20:39Speaker 20: twenty seventh, less than two months after reaching two thousand
- 1:20:43Speaker 20: guns in early June.
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: Hey, and for all of you around the country that listen,
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: you talk to people around the country, I think everything
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: is a disaster here. If you walk arounds of most
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: of Manhattan, it's just fine. I mean, there are some
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: precincts there where the crime is up right here midtown
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: man that everything is fine.
- 1:21:03Speaker 7: If you.
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: Went from a time machine from nineteen ninety three to now,
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: it looks exactly the same. It's fine.
- 1:21:12Speaker 7: Hey.
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: The Luigi Mangione trial, we're talking about that before, and
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: it was the final hearing before the trial was to
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: begin in September However, that was the final hearing before
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: the trial. However, they've now scheduled a hearing on Friday.
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: This is a surprise to everybody, Experts saying this probably
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: means the only way they'll explain this, there's probably a
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: plea deal coming. All of a sudden, this new hearing
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: scheduled for Friday. That could mean a plea deal. Now,
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: as I said before, every inch of Manhattan is covered
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: with surveillance cameras. Wherever you are, anywhere in the street,
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: there's a surveillance camera on you. So everything with Luigi
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: Mangione is on video. Leaving the hotel, shooting the guy fleeing,
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: it's all on video. So he's got absolutely I would think,
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: no chance of beating the charges. So it looks like
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: Friday that could be a plea deal coming. So hey,
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: we're talking about fore Mayor mom Downey with his free
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: grocery stores, and they keep saying you'll never live to
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: see one of these grocery stores not gonna happen. And
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: he's talking about forty million dollars to build one of
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: his little and they're little creepy, little primitive little grocery stores.
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: He's talking forty million, and he's saying maybe twenty twenty nine,
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: three year, four years. You watch supermarkets get built. You know,
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: there's a great Long Island's got the best supermarket. Uncle giuseppe'es.
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: They're huge, They're like the Italian Wagmans. They're magnificent. They
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: go for miles. They're the most spectacular supermarkets. They're opening
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: a new one Friday in Greenville at Wheatley Plaza. But
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: I've been keeping an eye on this now. This is
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: a thousand billion times the size of Mom Donnie's grocery store.
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: This whole thing costs like two million dollars and they
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: started construction and a few months later it's open. It's
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: opening Friday. A few months, a couple million, it's open.
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: So Donnie's talking about forty million, and it could take
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: five years. You'll never ever ever see it. Hey speaking
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: along Island, Just be aware. President Trump is coming Friday
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: to Long Island. He's going to visit the Nassau County
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: Police Center. It's considered a state of the art police
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: Academy training center. So he's going to visit with Cash Battel.
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: You Cash Hotel grew up in Garden City and this
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: police center is not too far from Garden City. But
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: the President will land at JFK. That's going to cause
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: a lot of traffic problems and tie ups. To me,
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: but the President coming to jfkport Kennedy Airport probably around
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: two o'clock, just before two o'clock, expected to go to
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: this police academy around three o'clock and then I don't know,
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: let's say it's an hour or two then five o'clock
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: or so six be heading back to Kennedy Airport. So
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: just remember that's going to cause a lot of traffic problems,
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: a lot of closures on Long Island. Hey, we'll take
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: some calls next. Eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: ten is the number. We always love getting new callers.
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: So if you haven't called before, call us eight hundred
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: three two one zero seven ten.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: Mark zimone on seven ten.
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: W Hey, we'll take some calls. Eight hundred three two
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten. Let's go to Brian in Miami. Brian,
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 1:24:55Speaker 12: Hey, miss New York.
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: Hold it down, Miami, hold it down.
- 1:25:00Speaker 9: Probably County. But you're always complaining about the weather.
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: Because everything that's trying to decaf coffee.
- 1:25:10Speaker 9: Maybe, well, that's my style. Anyway, I wanted to find
- 1:25:14Speaker 9: out One, if you know about International Left Handers Day.
- 1:25:18Speaker 9: It's every August thirteenth, including tomorrow, of course. And two,
- 1:25:21Speaker 9: I wanted to find out if you're left handed. I've
- 1:25:22Speaker 9: never seen you writing something on television.
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: I'm right handed, are you? Are you a salesman?
- 1:25:31Speaker 9: No, I'm an ex radio talk show host w j
- 1:25:34Speaker 9: R Detroit, Cairo, Seattle, and other points around.
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: The lowest JR and Detroit's one of the big stations
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: in the world.
- 1:25:40Speaker 19: Well, I was one of the big talents, the radioactive guy.
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: You gotta stop yelling. Stop yelling.
- 1:25:47Speaker 9: Well, I'll be more. Well, I am being polite, but
- 1:25:49Speaker 9: I'm an enthusiastic guy.
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: How come you're not in the radio anymore.
- 1:25:54Speaker 9: Well because you syndicated guys have of course you're local
- 1:25:58Speaker 9: to New York, but you've been syndicated, I do believe
- 1:26:00Speaker 9: over the years, and everybody else makes small fry like me.
- 1:26:04Speaker 9: Well that makes me retired, all right, Okay, I had
- 1:26:07Speaker 9: a good run. I was on for thirty years on
- 1:26:09Speaker 9: and off.
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: Yeah, you ever think of stop in the yelling, Maybe
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: just talk like this, like a normal person.
- 1:26:14Speaker 9: Well, I'm an excitable boy, just like the Warren Sleevon song.
- 1:26:17Speaker 12: You know what I mean?
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: Yeah, where do you live in Miami?
- 1:26:20Speaker 9: Well, I'm in Broward County Fort Lauderdale, Miamis.
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: That's not mine.
- 1:26:25Speaker 9: I consider it that. And again I left Orlando. I
- 1:26:29Speaker 9: was in Orlando for three years, and I moved down
- 1:26:31Speaker 9: here a dozen years ago because Orlando was just too
- 1:26:33Speaker 9: darn cold.
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: Okay, But when you're in sleepy Florida and you run
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: into something and go.
- 1:26:37Speaker 12: Hey, how are you?
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: Nothing?
- 1:26:40Speaker 9: Well, I do wake people up with my enthusiasm. Enthusiasm,
- 1:26:44Speaker 9: But there's something to be said for being an earnest
- 1:26:48Speaker 9: and an energetic voice on the radio. You're certainly that,
- 1:26:52Speaker 9: are you not?
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: But I see I talk like a normal person. I
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: don't come and go hi, how are you?
- 1:26:56Speaker 12: Well?
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: Now, what do you do if you go to the library,
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: they must throw you right out.
- 1:27:00Speaker 9: Well, you gotta cut me some slack. I'm talking to
- 1:27:02Speaker 9: mister New York now for the first time over Worr.
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: But you could never work in a funeral home. Hey,
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: how are you welcome to the funeral No, but.
- 1:27:10Speaker 9: I do like hanging around cemeteries. I spend a lot
- 1:27:13Speaker 9: of time, and I'm just trying to avoid being in
- 1:27:15Speaker 9: the crypt, you know what I mean?
- 1:27:16Speaker 2: Yeah, no, no, Well, it was great talking to you, Brian.
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: Thanks for calling. Take care. Oh god, you think there's
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: dead bodies in that guy's house? I don't know. Anyway,
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: Let's go to uh Dennis and Gillette. Dennis, how you doing.
- 1:27:30Speaker 22: Good?
- 1:27:30Speaker 19: Mark to talk to you. Listen.
- 1:27:32Speaker 22: What's gonna happen with the Save Act?
- 1:27:34Speaker 8: Is it gonna die?
- 1:27:35Speaker 17: Is it gonna be resurrected?
- 1:27:37Speaker 19: And I'm surprised Trump hasn't replaced Soon with somebody more tougher.
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: Well, they're working on that. They're working on getting somebody
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: instead of soon. But you got a good question there.
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: I don't know that Save Act. Democrats aren't going to
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: do it, and if you're counting on Republicans to do it,
- 1:27:52Speaker 2: that's not gonna work either. I don't know. You ay.
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: One thing to point out, if you do pass the
- 1:27:59Speaker 2: Save Act, it will not affect the midterms. It wouldn't
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: kick in until after the midterms. So if that's what
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: you're worried about, you're gonna it'll help in the future,
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: So you got to do it, But it won't help
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: in the midterms. Let's go to Joe and Elmwood Park. Joe,
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 1:28:14Speaker 19: Good morning, Mark.
- 1:28:16Speaker 22: Talk about the first Amy Clovers are the first knit
- 1:28:19Speaker 22: with politician?
- 1:28:20Speaker 9: And what about the.
- 1:28:21Speaker 19: Ghouls in Massachusetts with the late term abortions.
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: Yeah, well that's his left wing. It's what they do,
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: very very left wing. Defund the police, get rid of
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: ice abortion up till the age of twenty. I mean,
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: that's the kind of stuff they like. Let's go to
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: John and Long Island. John, how you doing.
- 1:28:40Speaker 15: Hey, good morning, Mark. I've been a living with you
- 1:28:42Speaker 15: for many many years.
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: Well thanks for finaling calling.
- 1:28:46Speaker 15: Oh yeah, thank you again.
- 1:28:48Speaker 12: I just retired, so.
- 1:28:49Speaker 15: No one had the time.
- 1:28:50Speaker 2: Where are you in Long Island?
- 1:28:53Speaker 15: Yeah, pang Yeah, that's way given town. Yeah yeah, o
- 1:28:58Speaker 15: God's country. Yeah, this is an older topic he brought up.
- 1:29:01Speaker 15: But the Obama Museum Library. Okay, A little interesting fact
- 1:29:09Speaker 15: about this, the designers architects of this. One of those
- 1:29:14Speaker 15: was one of my professors in architecture school. I'm an architect, okay.
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: Okay, but you're you're a real architect. This guy was
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: a professor, and professors never know what the hell they're
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: talking about.
- 1:29:25Speaker 15: Yeah, exactly. And one guy I'm mentioning the name, but
- 1:29:27Speaker 15: you can look up the internet who designed this place.
- 1:29:31Speaker 15: But one little fact is that this team also designed
- 1:29:35Speaker 15: a museum right next to the Museum Modern Art, which
- 1:29:40Speaker 15: was the Museum of the American Craftsman. I guess what
- 1:29:44Speaker 15: years later they tore that museum down. I'm just hoping
- 1:29:46Speaker 15: they do the same thing with the Obama catastrophe ugly
- 1:29:51Speaker 15: monument they put.
- 1:29:52Speaker 2: Yeah, no, that is interesting. That's a very good point.
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: And thanks for colling John. That's a good point. At
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: some point, you may have to tear down that Obama
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: music It's considered the ugliest structure ever built in America.
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: People that live near it are complaining it's such a
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: ridiculous eyesore. But that explains it. They probably got some
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: architect professors of architecture. These professors never know what the
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: hell they're talking about. You know a really great guy
- 1:30:21Speaker 2: who's one of the most successful men in the world.
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: I don't want to mention his name, but he couldn't
- 1:30:27Speaker 2: be more successful than this guy. And I'm listening to
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: him being interviewed and he said something about school, and
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: he goes, yeah, I went to college. I tried not
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: to get too educated because I could see they didn't
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: know what the hell they were talking about. It's very true,
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: you know, I don't want to mention names, but sometimes
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: they go to certain universities speak to the students, do
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: a masterclass and that kind of stuff, and you see
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: what these broadcasting teachers are teaching them. They don't know
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: what they're talking about. Anyway, let's go to Paul in
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: White Plains. Paul, how you doing?
- 1:31:00Speaker 22: I'm fine, Mark, how are you listen? I consider you
- 1:31:03Speaker 22: missed the show business? And because I'm old, I watched
- 1:31:07Speaker 22: the reruns of the Dean Martin ROAs and everybody on
- 1:31:10Speaker 22: the datis is screaming with laughter. They're falling on the floor.
- 1:31:15Speaker 19: Is that Real's?
- 1:31:16Speaker 22: What's the story?
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: Well? Not really know. The way they would that was
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: Greg Garrison, the great producer. This guy was a genius
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: at creating an assembly line. They would do like ten
- 1:31:26Speaker 2: roasts in one day. You know, you'd see all these
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: different stars on the dais, so they'd do the roast,
- 1:31:31Speaker 2: then they'd switch like okay, now you'd be the honoree.
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: You go sit on the dais and they keep switching around.
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: And they have like twelve cameras. So besides the regular
- 1:31:41Speaker 2: camera work. There'd be cameras just taking shots of people laughing, and.
- 1:31:47Speaker 19: They would they tell them just laugh laughing at.
- 1:31:50Speaker 2: Once in a while they would laugh ysterically, but they'd
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: catch that shot and they you're right. They would use
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: that shot for every joke, and it was too much
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: laughing for certain jokes. Thanks for calling. And you know
- 1:32:00Speaker 2: the other thing they did after a while, they couldn't
- 1:32:03Speaker 2: get everybody there at the same time. For most of
- 1:32:07Speaker 2: the roast. The first few seasons they were all in
- 1:32:10Speaker 2: one room it was. But if you watch the final season,
- 1:32:12Speaker 2: they weren't all there at the same time. So the
- 1:32:14Speaker 2: guy would get in the podium, they film him doing
- 1:32:17Speaker 2: his jokes, but nobody was there. Then they cut together
- 1:32:21Speaker 2: the ship, so it was like really pieced together. You
- 1:32:23Speaker 2: can sort of see it in that final year. Anyway,
- 1:32:26Speaker 2: when we come back and Colter will be with us.
- 1:32:28Speaker 2: I think she's in Europe right now, so get a
- 1:32:31Speaker 2: report on what's going on over there. We'll get to
- 1:32:34Speaker 2: that next on seven to ten WR.
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: Live from the WR Life Back Studios.
- 1:32:41Speaker 7: Marks Damon.
- 1:32:43Speaker 2: Well and Colder the Great Columnless. He's best selling author
- 1:32:47Speaker 2: and Rumble star. Make sure you watch her Rumble channel
- 1:32:51Speaker 2: and follow her on Twitter. But substack too, that's where
- 1:32:54Speaker 2: she's got all kinds of stuff, columns, videos, interviews and
- 1:32:58Speaker 2: cultured substack dot com and culter dot substack dot com
- 1:33:04Speaker 2: and culter.
- 1:33:05Speaker 8: How you doing fantastic? How are you, Mark Simone?
- 1:33:09Speaker 2: I'm good. Where are you right now?
- 1:33:12Speaker 8: I'm in a place where I could be arrested for
- 1:33:15Speaker 8: a mean tweet.
- 1:33:16Speaker 2: Oh are you in Europe?
- 1:33:19Speaker 5: Yes?
- 1:33:20Speaker 2: Uh? Would it be England? Perhaps arrested for a mean
- 1:33:26Speaker 2: tweet while you'll get the electric chair.
- 1:33:28Speaker 8: You no, I know, And it's funny. We got our
- 1:33:33Speaker 8: First and second Amendment from the British from what was
- 1:33:38Speaker 8: it the English Bill of Rights in I don't know,
- 1:33:40Speaker 8: sixteen eighty nine, and boy, they can't have guns or speech.
- 1:33:48Speaker 2: But tell us about England nowadays? Does anybody speak English
- 1:33:51Speaker 2: here anymore?
- 1:33:54Speaker 8: Yes?
- 1:33:55Speaker 6: Uh?
- 1:33:57Speaker 8: London? London itself? Well, what would be probably the equivalent
- 1:34:03Speaker 8: of I don't know, Manhattan and the Shishi areas of Brooklyn.
- 1:34:07Speaker 8: But you could walk for hours from the heart of London.
- 1:34:10Speaker 8: I would say, more than an hour in every direction
- 1:34:14Speaker 8: and you will not see you will not see any
- 1:34:16Speaker 8: Third World Muslims. You might see some fancy Muslims over
- 1:34:20Speaker 8: in Night's Bridge, but they're not going to mug you.
- 1:34:23Speaker 8: The stuff you see online is farther out in what
- 1:34:26Speaker 8: I would consider more like the suburbs of London. So
- 1:34:30Speaker 8: people keep saying this sounds snooty of me to say,
- 1:34:34Speaker 8: but it.
- 1:34:35Speaker 11: Is not.
- 1:34:36Speaker 8: It isn't intended to be or is it. And that
- 1:34:40Speaker 8: is any place a tourist would go. You're not going
- 1:34:43Speaker 8: to see it.
- 1:34:43Speaker 2: No, but they have a little you know, they never
- 1:34:46Speaker 2: had a crime problem. There's a little bit of a
- 1:34:48Speaker 2: crime problem though, isn't there.
- 1:34:49Speaker 8: Oh, yes, you can't wear watches. It's driving me nuts.
- 1:34:53Speaker 8: I always wear a watch. I mean, I know you
- 1:34:55Speaker 8: can check your iPhone, but I don't know if you're
- 1:34:57Speaker 8: used to wearing a watch. I'm looking at your wrist.
- 1:35:00Speaker 8: He drives me nuts. Before I came to London, I
- 1:35:02Speaker 8: came a lot last summer and I'm dinner with a
- 1:35:05Speaker 8: few British people in New York and they told me
- 1:35:09Speaker 8: over and over again, don't wear a wristwatch. Don't wear
- 1:35:11Speaker 8: a wristwatch. I get here, go out with my English friends,
- 1:35:14Speaker 8: they tell me, do not wear a wristwash. And it's
- 1:35:17Speaker 8: a nice part of town. Over at Knightsbridge, where I'm
- 1:35:21Speaker 8: at a fancy restaurant. Two couples had just had dinner
- 1:35:26Speaker 8: and walked outside and on the street corner a guy
- 1:35:29Speaker 8: was nice to death for his Rolex and the Robert
- 1:35:32Speaker 8: didn't even get away with it. So so that's kind
- 1:35:37Speaker 8: of annoying. Now they say these loped theft of watches
- 1:35:41Speaker 8: has gone down, and yes, you are correct, correct, these
- 1:35:44Speaker 8: moped thefts of watches are not being committed by native
- 1:35:49Speaker 8: British people.
- 1:35:51Speaker 2: So I got it. So it's a little like New
- 1:35:54Speaker 2: the Night's Bridge, you mean, like Sloan Street, which is
- 1:35:56Speaker 2: like the Madison Avenue is dangerous.
- 1:35:58Speaker 8: Now, No, it's you see, more fancy rich Muslims. It's
- 1:36:05Speaker 8: more and more like you know, la was there fancy
- 1:36:09Speaker 8: Iranians and Armenians.
- 1:36:11Speaker 2: You mean, like the what was his name, al Fayad
- 1:36:14Speaker 2: and all those kind of characters.
- 1:36:15Speaker 8: And exactly, yes, yes, well Herod's is now owned by
- 1:36:20Speaker 8: an Arab.
- 1:36:21Speaker 2: Yeah, well thedn't. Yeah didn't Dody's father owned that thing
- 1:36:25Speaker 2: for a while.
- 1:36:26Speaker 8: Oh maybe, yeah, that so maybe the family.
- 1:36:32Speaker 2: I know you're over in Europe, but you keep track
- 1:36:35Speaker 2: of the elections last night here in the States.
- 1:36:37Speaker 8: Yes, I did. This is so hilarious. You know, we've
- 1:36:41Speaker 8: we've seen this before. In the last election presidential election,
- 1:36:46Speaker 8: the polls way underestimated support for Trump because as my
- 1:36:50Speaker 8: friend Ryan grew Dusky kept assuring me, But but I was,
- 1:36:55Speaker 8: but I was nervous. It was wishful thinking.
- 1:36:57Speaker 12: Boy was he right.
- 1:36:59Speaker 8: It was because all these baby boomers old people were
- 1:37:02Speaker 8: always answering the phone and they love to, you know,
- 1:37:05Speaker 8: give people their opinion. They're always, you know, talking about
- 1:37:08Speaker 8: how they hated Trump. So it seems like he was
- 1:37:10Speaker 8: doing very poorly. It appears that this time it's the
- 1:37:14Speaker 8: young progressives who are very quick to offer their opinions
- 1:37:18Speaker 8: to bolsters while other people are ignoring them. Because this
- 1:37:21Speaker 8: is not the first time the polls have shown a
- 1:37:25Speaker 8: crazy progressive not at all meeting expectations. That was what
- 1:37:31Speaker 8: in I don't even know what state. It was, Wisconsin
- 1:37:34Speaker 8: where that Chinese lady thanks yea. Yeah, she's the one
- 1:37:40Speaker 8: who wanted to ban Thanksgiving and just other horrible things
- 1:37:43Speaker 8: about the United States. You know, it's a strange thing
- 1:37:46Speaker 8: about Asian immigrants were always saying the same way. You know,
- 1:37:54Speaker 8: for the past fifty years, everybody sits around at dinner
- 1:37:58Speaker 8: tables in New York and ask themselves why are Jews
- 1:38:02Speaker 8: so liberal? It doesn't help them. They buy a SAT Scores,
- 1:38:07Speaker 8: you know, they make a lot of money. The Democratic
- 1:38:10Speaker 8: Party hates hates them. I think we're going to be
- 1:38:13Speaker 8: saying that about about Asian immigrants for the next fifty
- 1:38:17Speaker 8: years too. It doesn't make any sense, but wow, a
- 1:38:21Speaker 8: lot of Asians are very, very very left wing as well,
- 1:38:24Speaker 8: trying to.
- 1:38:25Speaker 19: Get an A and wops.
- 1:38:26Speaker 2: Probably the same thing that happens in the Jewish population.
- 1:38:28Speaker 2: The older Jews very you know, they're Jewish, they're religious,
- 1:38:32Speaker 2: they're they're not voting for these crazy But the younger ones,
- 1:38:35Speaker 2: the younger generations that just got out of Columbia and Harvard,
- 1:38:37Speaker 2: they're not that religious. They may be technically Jewish, but
- 1:38:40Speaker 2: they're not. They don't follow the religion and they just
- 1:38:43Speaker 2: crazy left wing. And it's probably the same thing with
- 1:38:45Speaker 2: the Asians. They're young. Remember they go to they go
- 1:38:48Speaker 2: to those Ivy League colleges. They come out totally into But.
- 1:38:52Speaker 8: The white kids go to Ivy League colleges with the Asians,
- 1:38:55Speaker 8: I think it's just another class. They can get an
- 1:38:58Speaker 8: A in the same They've got to be absolutely the
- 1:39:01Speaker 8: best top of their class in calculus. You know, you
- 1:39:05Speaker 8: could just set them at anything. Okay, this class is
- 1:39:08Speaker 8: going to be making gay porn. I'm going to make
- 1:39:10Speaker 8: the best gay porn. I'm getting an A plus. I
- 1:39:13Speaker 8: will be the top student in this class. And that's
- 1:39:15Speaker 8: what they're doing with locals. They will be the most
- 1:39:18Speaker 8: woke politicians.
- 1:39:19Speaker 2: Well, and what do you do about those colleges they
- 1:39:22Speaker 2: are in doctrination centers that that's going to take decades
- 1:39:25Speaker 2: to unravel. That isn't it to get them back to normal?
- 1:39:29Speaker 8: I think that the main point is and this is
- 1:39:32Speaker 8: catching on. It started with my friend Peter Tiel years ago.
- 1:39:35Speaker 8: Even I was a dubious way way way too many
- 1:39:39Speaker 8: people go to colleges. You know, Peter pays smart kids
- 1:39:44Speaker 8: not to go to college. And let's you know, sponsors
- 1:39:48Speaker 8: their their start off ideas, introduces them to people, takes
- 1:39:52Speaker 8: h takes a slice of whatever the company is or
- 1:39:55Speaker 8: whatever the startup is. And that's at one end. But
- 1:39:58Speaker 8: you also have U, who's the guy who's always covering
- 1:40:05Speaker 8: men who work with their hands, very famous handsome fellow.
- 1:40:09Speaker 8: Oh uh the TV show name. It's driving me crazy.
- 1:40:15Speaker 2: I'm blanking out too but you're right, a lot of
- 1:40:17Speaker 2: people should be going to a tech school, you know,
- 1:40:19Speaker 2: like Lincoln Tech.
- 1:40:19Speaker 8: Are you're pushing it at the other ends?
- 1:40:21Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 1:40:22Speaker 8: Yeah, And they make way, way, way more money than
- 1:40:25Speaker 8: liberal arts majors. I mean, unless you're a classics major
- 1:40:29Speaker 8: or philosophy or something in a very very very tippy
- 1:40:33Speaker 8: top college, you are so much better off becoming a
- 1:40:37Speaker 8: plumber and electrician. I mean, these are highly skilled fields.
- 1:40:40Speaker 8: They take a high IQ and boy are they sought after.
- 1:40:46Speaker 8: They make loads of money. And meanwhile, you know that
- 1:40:50Speaker 8: the English majors are worse. The identity politics majors, gender studies,
- 1:40:56Speaker 8: black studies from these second tier colleges very you know,
- 1:41:00Speaker 8: lucky if they can get a job as a barista.
- 1:41:03Speaker 8: So I think we really just have to stop pushing.
- 1:41:05Speaker 8: I mean, the government is partially responsible for this. It's
- 1:41:08Speaker 8: a lot like the way they pushed you know, lawyers
- 1:41:14Speaker 8: loan mortgages on people and oh, don't worry, it's an
- 1:41:17Speaker 8: investment in your future. And of course it wasn't. You know,
- 1:41:21Speaker 8: they all went under causes because a huge economic crash.
- 1:41:27Speaker 8: And you also have the government always telling people, including
- 1:41:29Speaker 8: Obama and politicians, go to college. That's the best way
- 1:41:33Speaker 8: to ensure your future. No, it isn't, absolutely is not.
- 1:41:37Speaker 8: This is a law you were being fed. Save the
- 1:41:40Speaker 8: two hundred thousand dollars and learn an actual skill.
- 1:41:44Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, I went to college. They didn't know what
- 1:41:47Speaker 2: they were talking about. They were the craziest teachers. Nobody
- 1:41:50Speaker 2: knows what they're these professors. Although you probably did very
- 1:41:53Speaker 2: well in school, didn't you.
- 1:41:56Speaker 21: Well.
- 1:41:56Speaker 8: I know it's a cliche, but youth is wasted on
- 1:42:01Speaker 8: the young.
- 1:42:02Speaker 21: I wish I could go back.
- 1:42:03Speaker 8: To college and study more. I mean, I hate to
- 1:42:07Speaker 8: say it. I did study some, but it was mostly
- 1:42:11Speaker 8: a four year vacation. It was a lot of fun.
- 1:42:13Speaker 8: But I don't think it was worth the money my
- 1:42:16Speaker 8: parents paid for it.
- 1:42:17Speaker 2: Oh that's true. Hey, I know it's one thing about
- 1:42:20Speaker 2: these most of these candidates last night yelling and screaming
- 1:42:23Speaker 2: ban Ice cut Ice dropped the funding Ice this Ice
- 1:42:26Speaker 2: that this is a really big thing in democratic world,
- 1:42:29Speaker 2: isn't it trying to get rid of ice?
- 1:42:32Speaker 8: Oh meanwhile, the best result I can't believe. I just
- 1:42:35Speaker 8: I didn't just lead with this. Okay, I know he's
- 1:42:38Speaker 8: your friend, but the mister Pillow guy, Mike Wendell was
- 1:42:42Speaker 8: leading by far, he was running against the dud of
- 1:42:44Speaker 8: a candidate, he was endorsed by Trump, and then what
- 1:42:47Speaker 8: last week he comes out for amnesty and bam, his
- 1:42:51Speaker 8: support disappears. How many times do Republicans have to go
- 1:42:54Speaker 8: through this? This is like the automatic Republican killer for
- 1:42:59Speaker 8: the past two years. It destroyed my old boss, Senator
- 1:43:03Speaker 8: Spence Abraham, it destroyed McCain, it destroyed Eric Cantor, it
- 1:43:08Speaker 8: destroyed What other examples.
- 1:43:11Speaker 19: Do we have here?
- 1:43:13Speaker 8: Well, Rubio totally killed him. How many times do Republicans
- 1:43:17Speaker 8: have to have to tell their donors we can give
- 1:43:21Speaker 8: you everything. We can give you tax cuts, we can
- 1:43:24Speaker 8: give you less regulation, but if you insist on cheap labor,
- 1:43:27Speaker 8: we're going to lose and we'll never be able to
- 1:43:30Speaker 8: give you anything else.
- 1:43:31Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, that's a good point. Lindell was also outspend
- 1:43:34Speaker 2: eleven to one. But you're right that that amnesty stuff
- 1:43:37Speaker 2: did kill him. But well, we're out of time. But
- 1:43:40Speaker 2: Ann Coulter, what do you got on Rumble? She has
- 1:43:42Speaker 2: a great Rumble channel. You got something?
- 1:43:44Speaker 8: Oh yeah, I just and on subjackets with no ads.
- 1:43:47Speaker 8: I just put up the latest interview. I did it
- 1:43:49Speaker 8: the last few weeks, I've been doing it Monday night
- 1:43:51Speaker 8: at five on Rumble, an interview with Scott Greer, who
- 1:43:57Speaker 8: was canceled. I'm thinking's doing a summer of interview with
- 1:44:00Speaker 8: people who were canceled. But he's come roaring back with
- 1:44:02Speaker 8: this great book, White Pill, and it's really interesting. I
- 1:44:06Speaker 8: didn't know a lot of this stuff, but it's about,
- 1:44:08Speaker 8: you know, young young right wingers, the alt right, all Light,
- 1:44:14Speaker 8: the Droypers. Yeah, they're the hatred of young, of young
- 1:44:18Speaker 8: right wingers for the old establishment Bush Republicans. I share
- 1:44:22Speaker 8: with them.
- 1:44:23Speaker 2: Sounds good. Well, everybody check out. You can sign up
- 1:44:25Speaker 2: or just go go to and culture dot substack dot
- 1:44:28Speaker 2: com and culture dot substack dot com and then go

- 1:44:35Speaker 2: and of course get her books and all that and
