- 0:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's that summer fall vibe.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's just like a muted going into fall still hot as fuck.

- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: My two girls.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_00]: One great song.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_01]: I did say good minds, think alike.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_00]: Just good.

- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: And, for sure.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_00]: Next week, first September first, we will have the return of the fall essentials, which if you're with us on YouTube, you can see me.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'm wearing that.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_00]: We have what falls on currently offer.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_00]: We have what we will offer in the future.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: Or we do it all.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_01]: I have offered in the past.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_01]: I'm offered again.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_01]: Fall essentials.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_01]: And fall gazebo.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_01]: And fall gazebo.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_01]: is my favorite of the gasebo's.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not gonna lie.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, of course she is.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_00]: I love her gasebo too.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_01]: I love all her gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's gasebo's g
- 2:45[SPEAKER_00]: And I love that it's coming back on September first because I know that we've had this debate back and forth, but that feels like the start of Gilmourkel season, even though it's still summer.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_01]: How are you feeling about, because in the past, I feel like I have been back and forth whether or not I want summer to be into the last breath, like until the solstice determines that it is indeed autumn.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_01]: And sometimes I'm like September first, it's fall, let's get going.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_01]: How are you feeling like you want summer to be to be done away with or do you want it to last forever?
- 3:17[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I'm somewhere in between.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want it to last forever.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_00]: I love the summertime and I feel like I have and I may have spoken to this last year.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like I have a little bit of fear going into the fall because fall means winter's coming and winter means dark.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_00]: And so like I like to save her the light and the sunshine as long as I can, even though fall is my favorite season.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: And so I said this before I will say it again August September October are
- 3:47[SPEAKER_00]: It's the perfect trifecta for me.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_00]: It is like, yeah, the trio of months that I look forward to every year and a lot of people like the Burmants, a lot of people really like lean towards that because of the holidays and I'm so with you.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: I love the Burmants too.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_00]: But the Burmants is your birthday.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, of course.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_00]: And Thanksgiving and Christmas and time with family, I love it.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_00]: But the Burmants is when it gets dark.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: The Burmants is when it gets a little sad.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_00]: And so for me, I love to bask in
- 4:14[SPEAKER_00]: August September October and whatever that means for the changing of the seasons, if that's like a long change, if it really instantly shifts into kind of that mood of September being the the start of fall like the first of September.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_00]: I all let it tell me what it's going to be, but I am still loving summer for now.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, and backing in the sunshine.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_00]: I am ready for a little bit of a cool down.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: I am ready for all of the things that accompany fall.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'm ready for the fall sense.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_00]: I'm ready for the sweaters.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: I'm ready for the jeans.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_00]: Not quite yet, though.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_00]: I am like really enjoying and savoring, as I said, it was going to be a summer of savoring.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, savoring the summer.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: What about you?
- 5:02[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I think that's very fair.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's very you too.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you were a true summer wheat and girl.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: I really have fate of summer into fall.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_01]: It's really where I thrive.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_01]: I actually can't decide because I, it has been very, very hot this summer.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: But it's also been really kind of not super too hot lately here in Georgia.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_00]: It truly has been really nice.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_00]: Really nice.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_00]: Really.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, a chilly eighty.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_00]: I have loved that though.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_00]: I've really loved that it's been super mild the last couple weeks and so that has put me in the spirit of like, oh no, you can stay.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: You can stay.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: Sitting outside, reading, having your ice coffee, not like sweating, your entire, like, every inch of your body just coated and sweat.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_01]: That's on my vibe.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I feel like we're getting into that time.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like normally August is sweltering here in Georgia, but it's not been.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_01]: Um, it's just a deal that we're sweltering, which was so weird.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_01]: So fair.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_01]: That's I actually was sitting on the back porch eating my dinner the other night.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, oh, fuck, Tara should have been here now exactly.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_01]: The sun is setting and it's like gorgeous beautiful.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_01]: And I think I'm like kind of fine to slowly dive into fall.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I'm saying.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: But I think
- 6:17[SPEAKER_01]: We have a very strange relationship with the two of us into this podcast because we haven't been thinking about fall since June, despite the fact that it's hot outside.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like we've been plotting and planning fall for quite some time, but to actually go into it, I do feel like it's that same slow summer thing of like we'll just slowly immerse ourselves into this thing that we've been building for months and months.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_01]: So I, I don't know.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like I've had a good summer thus far, but I am, you know, I did come across my sweatshirt.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: I was organizing the other day and I was like, I miss you and I forgot about you.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: I'll see you soon, guys.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_01]: So you soon, guys.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_01]: I was excited for them because I had on a summer sweatshirt because it was really cold at my house of the day because the air has been broken.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_01]: It keeps going down too high.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: Um, one day it'll be eighty-five degrees in the house and next day it'll be sixty-nine.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: Love.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_01]: Summer sweatshirt on and I was like,
- 7:11[SPEAKER_01]: Cute.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_01]: I can't wait to wear my ones with like the winter gazebo on it.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, but that's why I kind of like like I said the August September October trio is because you kind of never know what you're going to get.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_00]: It's a mixed bag.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's like you don't know if it's going to be a fast ween into fall or a slower one or if it's going to be exactly the last fast ween or a slower one or if it's just going to be a ween.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_00]: A regular ween.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_01]: That's a weird push in here.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_01]: Goldilocks.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_01]: Regular movies.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_01]: You got what I'm saying?
- 7:50[SPEAKER_01]: I guess I could if I wanted to.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_01]: But I've decided, no, I don't want to get it.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_01]: No, I just think that it...
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: I just say that I am down for whatever the seasons.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_00]: Like whatever mother nature wants to hand over, I still think that August September and October, you can't go wrong with those three months.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's just gorgeous, beautiful.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: I love the fade.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_00]: I love the fade.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_00]: I love the passing of the torch, the holding of the hands.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: I love that we change.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_00]: Get ushered into fall in these next couple months.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_00]: And so I'm in a basket at whatever that may be.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_01]: I actually feel like this is a really good time to change and then we're talking about back to school next week.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_01]: But I feel like there's something that's like because we spent so long in school as kids that like that like our mind really molded to that idea of like starting back to school, like setting new goals, getting new notebooks, that sort of thing which we can talk about next week.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_01]: But if it is a really good time to set goals into leaning to that and fade into your fall self.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm just, I'm just excited for Gilmore girl season.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: But that's the thing is I'm really ready for Gilmore girl season.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_00]: But at the same time, there's something about it that I kind of, I mean, I want to savor it always.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, the twenty fifth anniversary of Gilmore girls.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_00]: And we've been talking about that for years on this podcast.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: So the fact that it's here, I'm almost like, oh, I don't know if I want to tell him yet.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if I'm ready.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_01]: And it's going to be like kind of like a,
- 9:25[SPEAKER_01]: killer fall really because like it's like twenty-fifth anniversary of Gamor Girls new Taylor Swift album like this fall is for the girlies like this is for us and so I kind of feel like maybe like I want to slowly march into it I want to get there really
- 9:47[SPEAKER_01]: like slowly lean into it.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_01]: Like have my slow summer into fall because I know that I'm going to live with excitement and my body every single day.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_01]: Also I'm coming to New York to see you in the fall.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_00]: Like in the peak.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to Ann Arbor in the height for fall.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think we've ever been in New York in the fall to come.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_01]: Which is going to be so far.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_01]: Are you Harry or Sally?
- 10:09[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Sally Sally.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a little bit of both.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not that angry.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: You're, I'm his sweater.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_00]: I was gonna say you're hally, but you're haily.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: So it kind of works.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_01]: But I just like, I'm so excited for that.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to Ann Arbor first stars Hello Saturday, which is going to be so much fun.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_01]: And we hope that you all come.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_01]: The last weekend of September.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_01]: And I just feel like it's going to be such a good fall.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_01]: It's my thirty-third birthday.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, my gosh.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_00]: I'm so happy.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_01]: I'm so excited.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sending out an invitation soon.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, fine.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_01]: They're like mostly going to my niece and nephews.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_01]: That makes sense.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_00]: You said nephews in the world just now.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, nephews.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_01]: I did ask if they could stay up late past their bedtime for my party.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_01]: And because I'm going to have a Hayley's New Year Eve party.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_01]: And I did get permission.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_01]: So it's going to be like a stellar fall.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_01]: My gosh.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm so excited for fall.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_01]: Can I tell you something?
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: See, Greg?
- 11:07[SPEAKER_01]: Tell me, is he have been drinking my coffee with pumpkin, creamer?
- 11:10[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, we talk all the time about how September first is like still summer, but we consider it the first of all.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: Do you know how many people August first happens?
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: And they're like, all right, fall, let's go.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_00]: Not just apartment stores.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: Not just Michael's crafts.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I'm talking about people.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking about human human beings are like August first.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_01]: The Michael.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_00]: There we go.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_00]: Michael's so again.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_00]: So I know judge.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, don't judge.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_00]: Because listen, I will say it's a better title than a good.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yes, it is.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_00]: It smells so good in there.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_00]: They're gearing up for fall.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_00]: So you can just walk in.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_01]: If you're going in fall to home goods, you're shopping for Christmas.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_01]: So for real.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: So August, they're already like prepping you.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_00]: And I went into home goods the other day because I'm shopping for candles for my wedding.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_00]: If you're with me on Instagram, you know, and you know, it's already for your wedding.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_00]: I am slowly collecting things for my wedding.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_00]: So center pieces, I'm like slowly collecting, yes, exactly.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: I've got gadgets and gizmos, a plenty.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_00]: Who said, and what's it?
- 12:15[SPEAKER_00]: Not yet.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no, no.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_00]: No glory.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, oh, next year.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_00]: No glory.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_00]: No, what's it?
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: Those will be galore next next year.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_00]: But for now, I'm collecting, like, I'm just starting to gather.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_00]: A little squirrel.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I'm like, Darryl, better.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_01]: rather than a girl.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever analogy you want to go in the lead though.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, so I went in the other day and I was like, oh my god, it smells like fall in here.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_00]: It smells so good in home goods.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_00]: And so yeah, I really, really love that you can like people start to lean in in August and then by the time we get to September everybody's like, all right, let's go.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go girls.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go girls.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go girls.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go show girls.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go show girls.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_00]: Last night,
- 13:02[SPEAKER_00]: Taylor Swift.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I guess it's twelve twelve this morning one.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: We're recording this.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_00]: Taylor Swift teased on the new heights podcast that her new album is coming out.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_00]: Jan, as well.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_01]: You know how I actually wanted to start the podcast today is when she turns to him and she goes, we're about to do a fucking podcast.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_00]: That really made me get gold.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_01]: We're about to do a fucking podcast.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_01]: I thought that was AI.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_01]: Truly.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_01]: I saw that and I was like, this isn't real.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, wait, I have those headphones she's wearing.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: They're real.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_00]: The real.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_00]: So there's a lot to look forward to.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: But this episode is all about the end of summer.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's not really about the end of summer.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's not actually about the end of summer at all.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's just end of summer madness.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_01]: And we have had, like we said before, when we put things on our calendar, we'll pop something up there.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_01]: We're like, that's what we want it to be.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_01]: And is it a closer?
- 13:56[SPEAKER_01]: Really?
- 13:56[SPEAKER_01]: What is that?
- 13:58[SPEAKER_01]: Who was who planned that because I don't know what that actually is and so thinking about like end of summer madness because like of course we have our end of summer madness festival T which I'm just so obsessed with But in remarch before I move on we have something coming out like every two weeks for the next couple of those yeah September and October Yeah, so like some of its things that are coming back some of its like revamped versions of things that we have
- 14:23[SPEAKER_00]: And some of it's brand new like so excited about I'm excited for y'all to see the merch that we have planned and just everything we have planned for the fall we've been thinking about this you said for a lot like since June we've been talking about fall since last year
- 14:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's more we have we've actually never stopped talking about fall it's we never stop yapping executions of things.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, really started in June.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_01]: That's we've been percolating.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_01]: We've been thinking scheming.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_01]: We've been complaining great word percolating scheming.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we've been little schemers little a ton of schemers a few will.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, detector.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_01]: Magnifying glass.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_01]: But in this episode, we thought into summer madness.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_01]: What does that mean?
- 15:03[SPEAKER_01]: What does that popcorn pretzels in beer?
- 15:06[SPEAKER_01]: Hard to do in an episode?
- 15:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_01]: But I thought about madness.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_01]: And we harkened back to the bracket.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_01]: The bracket bracket gate, if you will.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_01]: From earlier this year, we actually did it last year.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_01]: It was we did it on twenty twenty three.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_00]: Was it?
- 15:25[SPEAKER_01]: Was it?
- 15:26[SPEAKER_01]: No, it wasn't.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_01]: That wasn't last year.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_01]: No, it wasn't.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_01]: This two years ago.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_01]: So we did made madness in twenty twenty three, trying to found the best man and go more girls.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_01]: We were like in the middle of season three, that makes a lot more sense now, and that is why it went in the direction that it did and why Alex ended up so high, but the bracket gate, if you did not listen to episodes earlier this year, was that before Sebastian Connelly's episode where we made him play the bracket, we thought that we had picked Alex to win.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_01]: We were like, you know what?
- 16:00[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just play the episodes so that everyone can have like a little refresher.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_01]: Wrong.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_01]: We were wrong.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_01]: It was Dave.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_01]: Um, don't know how that happened.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: It was just so funny that we were like, let's post the episodes.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_00]: We can refresh you guys.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_00]: Your memory.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_01]: You need to be in everyone's like, you guys are done.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_01]: We didn't listen to it.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_00]: We don't.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_01]: So I just, I listened to the very beginning so they could edit out for like time sake because
- 16:27[SPEAKER_01]: Like not not timing, but just like the time of twenty twenty three was different than what was going on in twenty five.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_01]: I think we had a merch stop at the time.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_01]: So I cut it out.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_01]: But then at the end, I just made sure that it's segue nicely.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, it was Alex.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_01]: And so I was like, we should do it again to refresh everyone.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_01]: We didn't do in May.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_01]: May was what it was.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_01]: It was quite busy.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_01]: And so I was like, oh, we should do this again.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_01]: for madness and of summer madness.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I love it.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_01]: And last time we did this, Terra made the bracket and Terra agreediously left out so many men.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, so many men.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_00]: When we did it again, like when I did it for Sebastian,
- 17:09[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, Tara, what the fuck?
- 17:11[SPEAKER_00]: You didn't put anybody on?
- 17:12[SPEAKER_00]: Who are these guys?
- 17:14[SPEAKER_00]: And I can't remember, I think you had sixteen guys.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think I was like doing it from a numbers standpoint to like, whittle it down.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, I understand where I was at, where twenty twenty three, Tara was at.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_00]: But I was like twenty twenty five, Tara was like, you missed so many opportunities to put so many different people against each other for Sebastian to like upgrade it.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_00]: So
- 17:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, especially because of the way that Sebastian, which if you all haven't listened to his episode from earlier this year, what are your delightful human?
- 17:44[SPEAKER_01]: Like true love for young more girls.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_01]: Like the way he talks about watching it with his sisters is just so heartwarming.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_01]: He's such a fun, funny person.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_01]: So go back and listen to his episode, see who he chose.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_01]: But I altered it.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_01]: And instead of, was it sixteen people?
- 18:01[SPEAKER_01]: There are twenty four love.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's out, right?
- 18:05[SPEAKER_01]: Let me double check.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_01]: Let me count.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_01]: Two, four, six, eight, ten, twelve, fourteen, sixteen.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_01]: I lied.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_01]: There's thirty, two people.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, because like I went I yeah I was looking at character lists like of like all of the men and I was like Oh, definitely have to include him and I was like Oh wait, but I also have to include him and then so it then became of like who am I pairing together?
- 18:30[SPEAKER_01]: I need to pair together people who have like similar
- 18:35[SPEAKER_01]: Like similar sentiments felt about them.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_01]: Leasing in the show.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_00]: You know, and that's why in twenty twenty three when I first built this, it was like a lower lies men against a breezemen instead of just like all the men of Gilmore girls.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_00]: So this is there is a lot of separation between.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_01]: Luke, like the Luke genre, the lower lies, and the Rory genre.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_00]: Like the adults and the teenagers kind of.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_01]: But I didn't split it so cleanly from either side.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's more of just like main men and then we go down with more of like the side characters.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_01]: Love.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_01]: I did leave some out.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_01]: I did have to like go back and forth on like who?
- 19:12[SPEAKER_01]: I would select.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_01]: But would you like to see it?
- 19:18[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_00]: wait for this.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_00]: I have been like, Haley texted me and was like, don't you dare look at it.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, I wasn't going to.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_00]: I love his face.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_01]: All of our passwords, so she doesn't look, and I was like, no, that would be way too hard done.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_00]: That would be kind of insane.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, yeah.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_01]: So if you are listening to this, we will try our best to communicate this bracket via audio medium.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_01]: But if you're also in YouTube, you can see the bracket.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_00]: I was gonna say, this might be a really good one.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_00]: If you guys are joining us via audio platforms, Spotify, Apple, etc.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_00]: This might be a good one to pop over to YouTube for at least at this point in the episode.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but also feel free to just continue listening and we will explain it to continue talking.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_01]: That's what you do.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, let me share my screen.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, here we go.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_01]: I am quite excited for this.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: So I will go through and read everyone on the left side, this, and we have Luke versus Chris, Richard versus Jason, Max versus Alex.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_01]: Kirk vs. Bootsie.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_01]: Taylor Doce vs. Mitcham Huntsburg.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: We shall vs. Caesar.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_01]: TJ vs. Jackson.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_01]: And the town troubadour vs. Reverend Skinner.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_00]: Whoa.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_01]: On the right side, we have Jess vs. Tom the contractor.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_00]: Don't you argue kidding me?
- 20:45[SPEAKER_01]: Some of this was says you know was geared towards Tara.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_01]: Dean vs. Marty.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_01]: Logan vs. Dave.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_01]: Tristan vs. Zach.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_01]: Brad Blinkford vs. Brian.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_01]: Gil vs. Mori.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_01]: Jamie.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_01]: Paris vs. Boyfriend from film.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_01]: Versus Doyle.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_01]: Paris is away from from you.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_00]: Asher bears this other boyfriend for us.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_01]: Asher Fleming versus him and Trialston, the headmaster of children.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_01]: And that is our thirty two.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_00]: Holy shit.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, before we start, I just have to applaud you because this was really well curated.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_00]: And that's hilarious.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_01]: And then the pairings, I moved some of them around to various times.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I had Caesar versus Bradley inferred because I was like, oh, they're both Chilton because we see Caesar at the, um, the dance, voice dance in season one.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_01]: But I was like, that doesn't really fit who he is like, yeah, town.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_01]: So I kind of and like me shells kind of like or like sidekick at work.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_01]: Caesar is Luke sidekick at work.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_01]: So I kind of tried to do it like that.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_01]: Um, okay.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_01]: Where would you like to start?
- 22:02[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, girl.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_00]: I guess let's just start with the top left.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_00]: Let's just start with let's go back to the beginning.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_00]: We love to do that.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_00]: Because for me, this first one Luke versus Chris is easy.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's Luke.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_01]: It's, yeah, it's Luke.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that was the thing is like, I didn't even want Chris to go very far.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_01]: I like knew you weren't going to like, Yako Central.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_00]: You're like, okay, is that like we're in the midst of watching at this point.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, and when this air is because we haven't yet aired our second half of summer.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_00]: Um yeah boiler with a son patreon like I think Luke is being kind of a yoko and he is in the second half of summer some of the things that he says to lower lie and like the way he behaved in season seven like I'm not a huge Luke fan right now from being honest if I'm in the wrong seasons and you and I've talked about this in the early seasons love him love yeah, but Brett and I are also in the midst of season six and like not loving him very much right now
- 23:02[SPEAKER_01]: So, but we're also in the beginning.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_01]: We're also in the middle of season one for our biggest phase on Patreon.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_01]: And like, all this time.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_00]: Just like that.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_00]: I love him.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no matter what he's still.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_00]: He's still going to just raise the bar for me, especially up against Chris, especially against Chris, isn't it?
- 23:28[SPEAKER_00]: So moving on to Richard versus Jason.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_00]: This is a very interesting pairing you've chosen because in a lot like they're two very different men.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_00]: Very different.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm inclined to pick Richard, even though I would love to put Jason and Luke up against each other.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_00]: But I think for me it's Richard.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_00]: We got a deeper glimpse into his life, into his world.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_00]: He's more of a main character for me.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_00]: And I'd like to see Luke and Richard go, toe to toe.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_00]: Head to head, toe to toe, either one.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_01]: There we go.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I'll put a pairing.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_00]: Max versus Alex also a very interesting pair and also two people who Do the do you feel like they get compared to each other a lot of you like Max and Jason get compared to each other a lot but not Max and Jason I That's the thing is like because when we did this the first time
- 24:25[SPEAKER_01]: Alex made it really far because like at that time in the episodes that he's in before he just like completely disappears and moves to forks Washington and is never to be seen of or heard from ever again.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_01]: He was a really great fit for her.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_01]: He was funny.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_01]: He was patient.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_01]: He really got her sense of humor.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_01]: He like responded in kind.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_01]: Even when he took her fishing, he booked like a
- 24:51[SPEAKER_01]: spa trip or something like that for her like he just got her and like he had also he does a single father like was working with co-parenting and like for content and purposes I was like this is such a perfect guy worked at a like owned a coffee shop was opening one took her on an espresso day like come on so I think that like Alex was like actually such a good foil for Luke because he basically was like elevated Luke
- 25:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so fair, but we truly did not get the glimpse into his life that we did with her other suitors like we got so much more depth from Max and
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: The reason I have Dave syndrome.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_00]: He's not even.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_00]: He's not even.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but it's that like we never saw anything of his real life.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_01]: It was really only the interactions with Lord life.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_00]: I just so agree.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's true of Max, but I feel like Max, we got deeper with them.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_00]: And so for those reasons, I'm going to choose Max.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like we got a better glimpse into him and his character.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_00]: And though I would love to choose Alex, I don't know enough about him to really make in my opinion.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's fair.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_00]: You're wrong, but I will allow it.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_01]: Would you have chosen Alex?
- 26:16[SPEAKER_01]: I would have chosen Alex.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_01]: Some people are Jacos, and he does give me the egg that much.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I understand.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_00]: I understand.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_00]: Kirk versus Bootsie.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_00]: This one's easy for me.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_00]: Bootsie.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_00]: Is it?
- 26:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_00]: Gosh.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_01]: You think Ruby is better than Kirk?
- 26:34[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I just enjoy him as a character more.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_01]: And what she does, who is like the better man?
- 26:40[SPEAKER_01]: That's fair.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_01]: I, one of my favorite lines from Bootsie other than Miss Turkeyburgers, which people would be disappointed if you didn't give us a Bootsie impression in the episode.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_01]: But I just love and they're viable when he is arguing with Taylor about the whittling, but like you can't fake whittling like production value matters.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_00]: Listen, the thing is that these two
- 27:04[SPEAKER_00]: could both annoy me as like, you know, but he never annoyed you.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_00]: No, but I just mean if I spent more time with them, I would probably be more annoyed by but see, and it's just so fun to be a best friend.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_00]: I love to say.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going with but see.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, perfect.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gone with also.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_01]: I will mention this that Tara and I didn't notice this when we were recording the first episode of summer recently that Tara had one of my favorite flubs of all time.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_00]: That when we didn't notice it real time, we did a poll like I didn't notice at all.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_01]: Like, our editor didn't even make note of it, and anyway.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_01]: But I was like, tonight, brain just flipped those letters when she said that.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_01]: But she was talking about Bootsie's new stand.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_01]: But she called it, Newsy's Boots stand.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_01]: Blue right through it.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_01]: I was like a star.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_01]: I was tackling in my bed alone.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_01]: So funny.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_01]: So long that I had to send her voice mum about it.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_01]: But Newsy's Boots stand.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_01]: The Boots stand and stars hollow.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_00]: So moving on to Taylor and Mitchum, this is a really good matchup because they're both annoying.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_00]: Well, yeah, but that is social.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_00]: Great and horrible in several different ways and very different ways from each other.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_00]: Difficult.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_00]: My, like, I'm inclined to say Taylor, because we know more about him and be because a lot of what we've seen of Mitchum has been a lot of the bad stuff.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_01]: So I would say we know more about Taylor, but we know enough about Mitchum.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_00]: That's fair.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_00]: Do we need to know more?
- 28:48[SPEAKER_00]: Probably not.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_00]: Like Taylor's an antagonist, but Mitcham is really positioned as the villain in Rory Story and Logan's story.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm gonna say Taylor.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Taylor has more integrity than Mitcham.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I honestly think he's the better man.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_01]: I think that he really, I think the thing about them is they both value the big picture.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_01]: Like Mitcham really has a set plan for everyone around him.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_01]: And so just Taylor, the difference is that Mitcham like invokes a level of fear that people follow along and money and power.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_01]: Taylor can
- 29:27[SPEAKER_01]: easily be turned down by the town like so real one one comment from patty and they're done so so I think that he he cares about all of these people but like
- 29:41[SPEAKER_01]: They have like the same kind of end game for what it is they are trying to control, but I think ultimately Taylor Taylor cares in a better way.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so real.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think so.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think his intentions are always honorable.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_00]: He can be no, no.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_00]: No, no.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_00]: And manipulative.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, up against someone like Mitchum, I think Taylor is still going to win out.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Taylor just seems harmless compared to, um, but that made show.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_01]: That fight scene.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's true.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, like the worst of Taylor really is trying to do to, to Luke sometimes is just like decorate his diner.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_01]: That's fair.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_01]: He's not there.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_00]: He's not there.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_01]: He's on to London against his, uh, against his well.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_00]: Moving on to Michelle and Caesar.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_00]: You know, this is also one of those tough times where I feel like Michelle has been more of a focus and we know a lot more about Michelle than we do about Caesar.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_00]: But at the same time, who's the better man?
- 30:44[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like Caesar's heart is softer, it's kinder, whereas Michelle's is a little harder.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's got a, it's got a molten center, but it's, you gotta get through a lot of hard chocolate first.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_01]: A lot.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_01]: Whereas, whereas, like, Caesar's is melted chocolate.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, inside, like, just free floating.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_00]: I actually, okay, I'm gonna choose Michele because I really wanna put Taylor and Michele up against each other.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_01]: Ooh, okay.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_00]: Because those are also two characters that are very complicated.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_01]: They are.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_01]: I really thought we were about to say Caesar.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_00]: I was going to show.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_00]: I was going to.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_01]: Just because I really feel Caesar is really just such a good person.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't think we know anything about him otherwise.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_00]: We don't know about like, homelife.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_00]: I guess we don't really about me shall either.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_00]: We only see him at work.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_01]: We only really hear about his home life when they actively in the revival make him gay that they would never have done in the original series or like kept denying that that was the fact and they finally just like gave into the fact that that is what that character was.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that's the only time we actually learned about his home life.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_01]: We know he loves Celine Dion.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_01]: We know he has a love hate relationship with his mother.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_01]: But we don't know anything about Caesar other than when Lucas and there he likes to see from the Python and listen to and sing under the word rock.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_00]: But I take back what I said before that we don't really see Michele outside of work.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_00]: We see his friendship with Laura.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_00]: We see, you know, hands outside of the workplace, just not at home.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's only we get like a solo perspective on Michele.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_01]: And I think about moments specifically related to Tobin, who I almost put on here, but I ultimately didn't, because I almost did Michel Tobin.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, great.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_01]: I just felt like I've been insulting to Michel himself.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_01]: When his friendship has challenged, he tries to rise to the occasion of like, he gets very jealous, very possessive.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, wait, what is it that when he accidentally rolls Davey under the bed, what has he been calling him?
- 32:59[SPEAKER_01]: Truman.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_01]: Truman, yes, David, I thought he was Truman.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_01]: I've been calling him Truman, hilarious.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that he really does value his relationships, but he would never tell you that.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's true.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_01]: It's that it's a really, really small melted center.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_01]: So real.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_00]: So moving on to TJ versus Jackson, this is easy for me, it's TJ.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_00]: I know, I like that's the thing it's like these do feel like a proper matchup.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_00]: If I were talking about seasons one through three Jackson,
- 33:28[SPEAKER_00]: even season four I think that I would be a little more inclined to say Jackson like I would have a tougher time but for me like Jackson towards the end is just not it
- 33:40[SPEAKER_01]: Visectomy TJ kind of fades into like a version that we kind of like about, but yeah, he's our man.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_01]: TJ is like, we are nothing if not TJ stands on the trail.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_00]: That's so real.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_00]: And then Truebidore versus Reverend Skinner, this is also really tough because I'm trying to take grantly Phillips and the upcoming episode we have with him out of it because he's such a darling.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_01]: I guess that's the episode in two weeks.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_01]: We have Grant Leon.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_00]: What a gem.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_00]: What a true gem.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_01]: But like taking him out of the equation and just adjusting the temperature of a door.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_01]: And then like Reverend Skinner, I almost put Reverend Skinner versus Rabbi David.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I would have been a hard.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_01]: I couldn't do it.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_01]: That would have been really exciting.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_01]: I loved the both of them.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_01]: I almost put them, like, like, did, like, duos, like, Reverend Skinner, like, Reverend Archie, and Rabbi David as, like, a duo against another duo, but like, I was like, that's too complicated.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_01]: Totally.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_01]: So I just went full Reverend Skinner because I love it.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_00]: I am going to see Reverend Skinner here because we don't know enough about the town troubadour.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_00]: We don't know.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of like the point of fact.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's literally his mistake is the whole point.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_01]: Well, the reason I put them up against each other is because they both are very principled about different things.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, Reverend Skinner, his religion, and true the Tantribodore about keeping, like you said, the mystique around what he does.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_00]: The mystique is very true.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_01]: So the music is religion.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_01]: Let it speak for itself.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but I just, I love reference dinner.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_01]: I love when they go on walks, like when Suki and a Jackson are trying to get what if the weed and they run into them or when they're sitting in the diner, they're breaking the bells and he's so glad.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_01]: And there he is.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_01]: I love that.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_01]: I love that man.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so I choose Reverend Skinner.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_01]: Love it.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_01]: Great job.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go to the other side.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_01]: We haven't visited any of them.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to start from the bottom on this one.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, is it because you're too favorite manner at the top?
- 35:48[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, great.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'm actually really excited to start at the bottom over here.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so we have Asher Fleming vs. Handlin Charleston.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm going to choose Handlin.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_00]: Headmaster Charleston.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_01]: I just put it in the same age bracket.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, this is very
- 36:04[SPEAKER_01]: This is very in line.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_01]: I can tell you that when I was making this, I of course, if you're watching this on YouTube, you can see all the photos that are connected to all the pictures.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_01]: My favorite photo.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_01]: that I picked is Handland Charleston's because I forgot what is the actor's name I forget his name.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_01]: His picture here is the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_01]: Like I almost just want to blow it up for him.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_00]: His name, Dakin Matthews.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, like what?
- 36:38[SPEAKER_00]: A, I've heard he's so sweet.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, like look at that.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_00]: He's so sweet.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_01]: He just looked like an angel.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_01]: Like there was something about them.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, I want to frame that in my home and be like, this is my grandfather.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, even though it's not.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_01]: Even though it's not.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_01]: It's just such a cute picture of it.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, I'll remove this giant picture of it.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_01]: No, I keep their words.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_01]: This is madness.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_01]: I said, oh man.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_01]: Good choice, good choice.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't think that Asher has a lot of principles that I necessarily align with.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't deserve it.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_00]: No, not a fan.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_01]: Although it would be great to put him against the other winner of the next duo, one hundred percent.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_01]: I do think that Hamlin may be more interesting to go against them.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_01]: I agree.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_00]: And the next duo, of course, is Jamie Verstoyle, Paris's boyfriends.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_00]: And for me, it's Doyle.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_00]: I think Doyle can be, you know, honestly, I would say Jamie, because Jamie is a really, really good man.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_00]: But again, I think he's a good guy.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_00]: He's a really great guy, really cute.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I loved his relationship with Paris.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_01]: But again, we don't know much about him.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's the day of effect.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_01]: To a lesser degree, you know what?
- 37:59[SPEAKER_01]: It's the day of effect.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to change your mind.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to change my mind.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, after I already put it up.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_00]: Because Brett and I watched Bridesmaid's revisit it last night.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm just there.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like you don't remember.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_01]: Listen, yeah, he's a very like stand by your woman until he's not in the revival and that just makes me annoyed but it makes me so annoyed especially after ATX which like if y'all watched our kind of like ten year anniversary episode and then went and watch ATX the one thing that came from that is that Paris and Doyle were like Paris and Doyle forever.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so I know I'd love to say Doyle.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_00]: I just
- 38:48[SPEAKER_00]: I also think his morals are a little skewed.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_00]: And maybe Jamie's our two, but we never get to see it.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_01]: We don't.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_01]: He cares too much as his fall.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_01]: He's a really nice guy.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_01]: Really nice guy.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_01]: So, okay, we'll go with Jamie.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what I would have said there.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's time to go either way.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's I could go either way, too.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_01]: But I just changed my mind.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_01]: The matchup that this has created isn't saying though.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_00]: Weird matchup.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but let's go to Gill and worry.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, man.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_00]: This is really tough.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_00]: I can't believe you did this to me.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_00]: This felt just in Tom level.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_00]: difficult.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_01]: This is difficult, because these are two.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_01]: These are two absolute gems, absolute icons in Star's Hollow, like the kindest, most giant people who visit Star's Hollow, arguably other than Dean, height wise, the tallest, other than maybe like Richard, so just very dedicated to their
- 39:50[SPEAKER_00]: Marriages very clean.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, so real.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_01]: Have a specific look?
- 40:01[SPEAKER_01]: What is it?
- 40:02[SPEAKER_01]: What is it?
- 40:02[SPEAKER_01]: What is it?
- 40:03[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_00]: Come here.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_00]: I see you could phone a friend.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_00]: I have to phone a friend.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_01]: This is your lifeline.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna use a lifeline on a game that Haley and I are playing on the podcast.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I have to call a feline.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing this is not a spoiler.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing a
- 40:27[SPEAKER_01]: We're doing special gases appeared on YouTube.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing an end of summer madness bracket.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_00]: And we're pairing the men up against each other.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_00]: Of course.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_00]: Naturally.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_00]: We're she's done gill versus mori.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_00]: Who would you recommend I choose?
- 40:48[SPEAKER_00]: Tough.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_02]: I just mean like mori's mori, man.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_02]: Pekil.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_02]: He's got a fedora.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_01]: Pekil's got long wavy locks.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_00]: So your answer is more.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_02]: I think in terms of like overall impact and you know all around cool guy.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_02]: It's got to be more.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_01]: So he thinks the kill is a loser.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Bradley.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_02]: I'll see you again.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_03]: That's a funny shit.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_00]: My life line.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_01]: your lifeline said morey and did a bad bad impression.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_01]: And caught killer loser.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_00]: No, he didn't.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_01]: Just he just said he was all around cool guy and that's what I was like, oh, so this is really hard.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_01]: They're just like such cool guys is really they're like, if this was the coolest, they would be at the end, like fighting it out.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_01]: do you want to come back to this one?
- 41:57[SPEAKER_01]: We need to go back to this one.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_01]: We need to go back to this one.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_01]: We need to go back to this one.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_01]: We need to go back to this one.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_01]: We need to go back to this one.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_01]: We need to go back to this one.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_01]: We need to go back to this one.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_00]: I think so too.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_00]: I just really love Brian.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_00]: Brad is great.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I wish we saw more of him post graduation.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_00]: Really wish he was in the revival.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_00]: Me too.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_00]: But I just love the way that Brian, Brian's a really good friend.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_00]: He's a really good guy.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_00]: He's a good friend to me.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_00]: He's a great friend to me.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_00]: He's a great friend to me.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_00]: He's a really good guy, and I'm like, we could have seen like a really true love story for him.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_00]: I know that we have like a little key on moment, but for the most part.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_01]: No, I also feel like he makes Zach like a bull totally.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_01]: Like his relationship with Zach is what makes me, endeared to Zach a lot of the time.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's not his relationship with Lane.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_01]: So I feel like a lot depends on him.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_01]: As much as Brad is a great comedic relief, great Broadway baby, but sometimes I'm like, Brad, come on.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want Paris to get you down.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_01]: Please.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_01]: Please get you down.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_00]: And so she doesn't.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_00]: No, she, no, absolutely.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_00]: So now on to Tristan Versac.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_00]: In a turn of events, I'm going to choose Zach because I do feel like he redeems himself in season seven, even though I don't know if we consider it lower.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_01]: I know is that canon for him to be because like we honestly loved Zach in season seven, which was like big shock because we were not Zach fans of this season.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_01]: The series rather.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so yeah, you're going to go with Zach.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_01]: Final answer.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to go with Zach.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_01]: You don't want to use your feline?
- 43:47[SPEAKER_01]: She's not going to have an opinion.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's like a lifeline.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_01]: Like feline.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_01]: She might.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_01]: She might.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_01]: I will allow Zach.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_00]: And also like Tristan didn't give us a lot of promise for him to turn into a good man.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I mean, absolutely not.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_01]: Zach, Zach really kind of redeemed himself.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_01]: Like I know that we have such thoughts about season seven, but where Zach is concerned, I will allow it because it made him a better man.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I agree.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_01]: And Tristan just like never, he was a teenage boy.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what makes this next pair up a little more difficult because you hit me with another hard one.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_00]: We're getting into hard territory.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_01]: I'm actually more interested in the next one, but like this one was more of like the beloved nature of it.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's like you are not team either of these guys, but you have an affection for both of them that I definitely.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think that Dave versus Logan is tough because as I've argued for several of these, like we don't get to know Dave, too, too.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_00]: We don't.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_00]: Well, we do see a lot of him in season three.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_01]: We actually really only see him.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I just mean to say we do see a lot of who he could become throughout the series in season three.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, such potential.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_00]: And the challenge I face here with comparing him up against Logan is that we saw a lot of Logan.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, we saw it in the last two episodes.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_00]: We really zero win on what he missed.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that that's rich fame, but maybe locally.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, locally famous locally famous and locally.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_00]: We've hold on one second.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_00]: Hi, honey.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_00]: What?
- 45:44[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, Gil.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_01]: Did you hear that?
- 45:49[SPEAKER_01]: Did he come?
- 45:49[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, wait back.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't picked yet.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's hard.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_00]: This is that's a tough one.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_00]: Gilbert's getting all the way back and just went, I don't know.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_00]: I skipped.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_00]: I have to start back to it.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_00]: Gil rules too.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_00]: They could rock together those two.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_00]: Oh no.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_02]: His cover of the back row.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_00]: The back row is really good.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_00]: You have to talk into the microphone.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, here's my argument.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_02]: Having thought about it now is that
- 46:28[SPEAKER_02]: Mori is like a part of a duo.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_02]: Mori on his own is different than Gilles, you know, Gilles as a standalone character is also a very strong character.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_02]: Mori without that bet, you know, how much do we really get there?
- 46:46[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe I should have done duos.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe we should have done duos.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you so much.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_02]: You're welcome.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_02]: Good bye.
- 46:52[UNKNOWN]: Good bye.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for coming back.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I know it's hard.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's tough.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to choose Gail for that one.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_00]: It confirmed my gut feeling because I was going to say Gail, but had like this tie too many.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_00]: But Brett brings you a really good point that it is also about the bat.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_00]: We really should do a duos one in the future.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_00]: We really should.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_00]: I also want to take Brett through this.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_00]: Once we're done, that was serious.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see you tomorrow.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see you tomorrow.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see you tomorrow.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see you tomorrow.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see you tomorrow.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see you tomorrow.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see you tomorrow.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see you tomorrow.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see you tomorrow.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_00]: I would probably be inclined to say Logan.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_00]: But I think for this one, I have to choose Dave after going through the whole series together.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_00]: Really, I have to choose Dave.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_00]: We have much fall.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_00]: That's fair.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_00]: But I think I got to go with Dave because I don't think Logan grew Logan to the best version of himself.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_01]: Well, no, but it's Logan.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_01]: You want me to pick Dave?
- 48:09[SPEAKER_01]: We're picking Dave?
- 48:12[SPEAKER_01]: What is this?
- 48:13[SPEAKER_01]: You picked today.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know where you're talking about.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_00]: Wait a second.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_00]: Wait a second.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_00]: Wait a second.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_01]: You picked today.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, slandered podcast.
- 48:28[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_01]: Dean versus of course he would never do this to me.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe not, but I'm not him.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_00]: Dean versus Marty, yes, I thought that this one was quite hard.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_00]: So tough, but I will say as I kind of thought about it in between, thinking about these other ones, it's Marty.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's Marty.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_00]: Dean, when I think about the things that they did and the decisions that they made.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_00]: None good.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_00]: None good, but Marty lying to Lucy about still having feelings for Rory Gilmar is not nearly as bad as having a full on affair with her sleeping with her and in lying about sleeping with Rory Gilmar.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, and also coming home after sleeping with her after basically saying your marriage was over, screaming at your wife for picking up your cell phone when she had her mom bring gummy bear brownies over.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_01]: And she's trying to make you a hot roast.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_01]: She is trying so hard to make your favorite dinner, which is also where you get more his favorite dinner.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you're right.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_00]: So for me, it's Marty.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_00]: Even though he does not have a really shitty things in season seven, and also I feel like he's kind of a pick me like nice guy.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_00]: The same way the Dean is in a lot of ways.
- 49:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's different.
- 49:49[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't think he took it to, he took it as far as Dean for what we saw.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_00]: And I know that I'm kind of putting different rules on each of these characters because with Dave, we didn't say them.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, wait, then why didn't Logan win?
- 50:02[SPEAKER_00]: Because what we saw of him was like, bad.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_01]: And same with Dave.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_01]: But maybe Dave went to California and he started a cult and it was not good.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_01]: Because he was very charismatic.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_01]: And it did not go well.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_00]: You're so right.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_01]: But we wouldn't let be worse than what we saw from Logan.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's based on what we've seen though.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_00]: It has to be based on what we've seen, which is why I chose Jamie over Doyle.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_01]: Like, Doyle, did I really choose Dave?
- 50:31[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they did.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_01]: I love drama.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_01]: I love the drama.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_00]: Here's the big Hona.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_00]: Just versus Tom.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_00]: Tom the contractor, the contractor, contractor, Tom.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_00]: I love Tom.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_00]: I love him.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_00]: I love him.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_01]: I love him.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_01]: I love him.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_01]: I love him.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_01]: I love him.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_01]: I love him.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_01]: I love him.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_01]: I love him.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_01]: I love him.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_01]: I love him.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_01]: I love him.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_01]: I love him.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_01]: I love him.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_01]: I love him.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_01]: I love him.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_01]: I love him.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_01]: I love him.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_00]: I love him.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_00]: I love him.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's just the growth of all over the world.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_00]: So for me, it's Jess.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_00]: I love Tom the contractor.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's an amazing man.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_00]: He could build you a beautiful future.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_01]: But Jess is going to carry you into a new one.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_01]: It's true with his arms and change of mind, change of arms.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_00]: You got it.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_01]: So, I'm not team Jess.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_01]: That was really rude of you to say.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_01]: That was really rude of you to think.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_00]: That was totally, totally.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_01]: Be thinking about me as we were talking.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_01]: I knew it.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_01]: I heard it.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_00]: You heard out and clear from right near.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_00]: The old noodle.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, let's go back to the other side and do Luke for this Richard.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_00]: This is really difficult because I think that in many ways they are flawed as both partners and parents for Luke.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_00]: I think that he's a more flawed partner for Richard.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's a more flawed parent.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_01]: He had way more of a chance to be a flawed parent.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_01]: who definitely had his downfalls when it came to Jess.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_00]: For sure.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_00]: But when it came to April, I think he stopped up.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_00]: I think when he fell short is in how he parented April and tended to his relationship with Boralai.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because of him parenting April and that was more in turn as a partner.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, but that in turn did do a disservice to April because it kind of, in my opinion, puts her in a precarious spot.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_00]: And we see in the revival, him treating warriors his own, but then putting this divide up still when it comes to April and Lorelie, like April's mind.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's whole conversation that they have in the revival about
- 53:21[SPEAKER_01]: the rules or the set-up of their relationship, the moral I made, is just really weird.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_00]: What I would love to see is how we can compare Luke to Richard as a grandfather.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it'd be so different.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_00]: Because I do think a lot of Richard's redemption comes from him as a grandparent, less apparent.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_00]: and as a partner to Emily because their relationship is really beautiful.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, it comes with its peaks and valleys.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_01]: You know, see, I love seeing Lucas a parental figure, but I just think Richard has a grandfather.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's just some people who are made to be grandparents.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_01]: Like my mom love my mom is a great mom.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_01]: My mom was meant to be a grandmother.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_01]: She was meant to be kids.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_01]: Your mom was destined to become kid.
- 54:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like we always joke that like she had her kids really young so she could be a grandparent That that's just what she's meant to do and I see that in Richard like that's what's like that's what's the dynamic is so interesting between boyline worry is they have such different relationships with the same man He just loves worry.
- 54:31[SPEAKER_01]: He like once they connect in kill me now
- 54:34[SPEAKER_01]: Is that the right one?
- 54:35[SPEAKER_01]: She goes to the golfing.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_01]: She goes to the golfing, of course.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_01]: Once they connect and they have that similar interest and he realizes just how similar to him she is.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_01]: That's kind of like they're off to the races and even when he hurts her feelings over the Dean thing and Emily kind of makes him apologize he feels guilty about it and he the apology that they that he issues to her I just like don't think Luke would be capable of that in the same way I don't know I just yeah and maybe because we got to see Richard be a grandfather I'm just imagining what Luke would be like and I imagine it to be a lot like
- 55:18[SPEAKER_01]: like Roy's birthday parties where he makes her the coffee cake kind of grumbly but also like he fucking wrote happy birthday Roy on the balloons the Sharpie like come on I know it's just different it's different they're two very different guys and that's why I say like they fall short and book their relationship and their their romantic relationships their partnerships and their parental relationships in different ways yes so I'm gonna skip over that one right now okay
- 55:47[SPEAKER_00]: because I need a minute.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_00]: This was Y marinated.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_00]: This is a wild pair up.
- 55:51[SPEAKER_00]: Max versus Bootsie.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_00]: They never met.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think they did.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to go with Max on this one.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_00]: I love Bootsie, but this is a case where we don't know enough about Bootsies.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_00]: personal life in the way he tends to his relationships as Max does and even though I know Max has given the egg to you and many others I do think Max is a good guy.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, not the boots he's not.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_01]: No, so fair, so fair.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_01]: Now I'm like, I'm actually really surprised you made it that far.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_01]: Mr. Max Medina.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_01]: The next one is interesting.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_01]: Also an interesting pair up.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_01]: Do see versus Michelle.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_00]: Two very antagonistic characters.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_00]: Two characters that are very complicated.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_00]: Two characters we suspect.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_00]: might be part of the LGBTQIA plus community.
- 56:48[SPEAKER_00]: And they answer to that in two very different ways.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_01]: And you should be sure, like, yeah, I would say Taylor is more of the plus very much question mark there.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm going to say Michelle.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_00]: I might as that.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_00]: Taylor has
- 57:11[SPEAKER_00]: I know that Michele has a tougher fix to your ear.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_00]: Taylor has.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, do you want to fill in the blank?
- 57:22[SPEAKER_00]: I know that Michele has like some selfish tendencies.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_00]: But I think that Taylor's a little more manipulative.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_00]: And I see the way that Michele shows up for his partner, Frederick, in the revival.
- 57:41[SPEAKER_00]: And how he's like, you know what, I don't want to kid, but my partner wants one real bad.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_00]: And so I'm going to fake it till I make it.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_00]: And I did.
- 57:50[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm going to, of course, like be nice to these kids, and I'm going to offer them Molly Popps.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_00]: Who here is little?
- 57:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm little.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_01]: Give me a little.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_00]: I want to listen to that.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_00]: I just reviewed that episode.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'm little.
- 58:04[SPEAKER_00]: I'm little.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_00]: So cute.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_00]: But with Taylor, I just think he's a very, like even though he cares about the town.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_00]: And when I think about the episode into Piccadour and Taylor too, and he's eating the ice cream or the whipped cream, he cares so much.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_00]: He does, but there is also a lot of ego attached to it.
- 58:20[SPEAKER_00]: And Michelle has a big ego as well.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_00]: And he is always like thinking about what's coming next.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_00]: We see in the revival, he's like, you know, really going back and forth on leaving the dragonfly for more money, more opportunity he wants to grow.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_00]: But I think that that's a more natural.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_00]: reaction that's more natural instinct rather to have than Taylor who I think is always thinking up ways to not necessarily make the town better, but to make it more of what his vision is.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_00]: And he shell is doing everything he can to stay by his friend side and say like, I want to stay here.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_00]: Please expand the dragon place where I can run a spot.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_00]: And she's like, I can.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, then I have to go.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm so sorry.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_00]: I've like held on as long as I can kind of a thing.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_00]: And I just don't see Taylor doing that.
- 59:09[SPEAKER_01]: I agree.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_01]: I know that Michele is honestly a better friend.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's important.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_01]: It's his own little way.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_00]: And to be fair, we've never seen Taylor show it for anybody as their friend, per se.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_00]: He is always a public figure in the town.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_00]: And even though he does nice things for certain people, there's always a catch.
- 59:29[SPEAKER_00]: There's always a mutual benefit.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_00]: And so he just haven't necessarily seen Taylor show up as someone's friend.
- 59:37[SPEAKER_01]: Oddly, I mean, not friend, friends, the wrong word.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_01]: He does feel very generous with Dean, because Dean always talks about how good Taylor is that Taylor gives him extra work.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that's where things like he's a good guy.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_01]: But I just think that Michelle shows up for his friends and his own little way, cares in his own way.
- 59:55[SPEAKER_00]: And again, there is ego attached to that.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you brought a token before when he, like, beats it so much because he just wants to, like, be better than Tobin.
- 1:00:05[SPEAKER_01]: And he's so mean and he's so vain, so vain.
- 1:00:08[SPEAKER_01]: What's the point of living if you can't bad Jennifer Warren?
- 1:00:11[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_01]: But like, also some of the best lines come from me.
- 1:00:15[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah.
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_01]: If you're going to be mean, at least be funny about it.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_00]: And then we have TJ versus Reverend Skinner and
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_00]: hard because like Reverend Skinner in and of himself is a good man, like, you know, but yeah, but I got to pick TJ here.
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_00]: He's just like, you know, he's our man.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_00]: He's just not a thought behind those eyes, you know?
- 1:00:45[SPEAKER_01]: But I think that's something about him in season four that we found that we loved so much like the basis of TJ is so interesting and he really challenges Luke when it comes to lives because he fucking loves his girl.
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_01]: Like, TJ is a Liz girl.
- 1:01:02[SPEAKER_00]: And he's got to go to bat for her.
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_00]: And he will do no he'll do the same for his daughter.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_00]: And I know we don't see this.
- 1:01:09[SPEAKER_00]: But like, we don't know a lot about Reverend Skinner's personal life outside of his friendship with the rabbi.
- 1:01:15[SPEAKER_00]: And the way that he kind of shows up for the town in like his, the ways that he asked to because of the role he has in the town, you know?
- 1:01:26[SPEAKER_00]: So it's just,
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_00]: This is a tough one, but I gotta go with T-Day.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_00]: I don't blame you, perfect.
- 1:01:33[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna scooge over to the other side because I still need time to think about Luke versus Richard.
- 1:01:37[SPEAKER_00]: I just do.
- 1:01:37[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_00]: So let's go to Jamie versus Hanlen.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_00]: Hanlen Charleston versus Jamie.
- 1:01:44[SPEAKER_01]: Jamie, Paris's boyfriend from Princeton versus the headmaster of children.
- 1:01:52[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to go with the headmaster from Chilton.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to go with Headmaster Charleston.
- 1:01:57[SPEAKER_00]: Really?
- 1:01:58[SPEAKER_00]: Because this is so cute.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_01]: I'll put it again.
- 1:02:06[SPEAKER_01]: I don't mind.
- 1:02:07[SPEAKER_01]: He's just like, look at that angel.
- 1:02:10[SPEAKER_01]: If we're going base of photos, honestly, there's angels angel wins every time.
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_01]: We have to post a photo of him with no contacts on the grid.
- 1:02:21[SPEAKER_01]: Just like,
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_01]: Just him.
- 1:02:23[SPEAKER_00]: Just his face.
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_01]: He's like a couple hearts around me.
- 1:02:25[SPEAKER_00]: I know that he has some moments where he's like a little bit of a pus, like he's a little upbeat.
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_00]: A little leadist, but like this is the portion where I have to kind of be like, okay, we don't know enough about like at this point I haven't seen enough about Jamie to know what kind of man he turns into against this person who we also, you know, we get snippets of.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_00]: But on the whole, we see Hanland Charleston in the revival, and I love what he offers for me.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's kind of a hard-ass in school.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_01]: Like, well, let me read it.
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it does.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:03:01[SPEAKER_01]: Or take the task, rather that when he, uh, the path of the whole puff situation, he does let Marie off after her little outburst, yeah, bringing Paris and Marie into his office.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I guess he has to handle disputes like that.
- 1:03:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_01]: It just remember Paris having like an aside of like, of course has to be about boys.
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so I don't know.
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_01]: But I know.
- 1:03:25[SPEAKER_01]: It's him.
- 1:03:26[SPEAKER_01]: It's just this photo.
- 1:03:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:03:28[SPEAKER_01]: But with Jamie, it's like, it's tough because with Jamie, I'm like, broken up with on his birthday.
- 1:03:34[SPEAKER_00]: They were really gracious about a lot of things, at least for what we saw.
- 1:03:39[SPEAKER_00]: But at this point, I saw more of Hanland Charleston.
- 1:03:45[SPEAKER_00]: I saw more of the man he becomes.
- 1:03:47[SPEAKER_00]: I got to go with him.
- 1:03:48[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the man he continues to be rather correct.
- 1:03:51[SPEAKER_01]: Because like, look, look at that face.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_01]: Look at that face.
- 1:03:56[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:03:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'll do it.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_01]: This is a tough one.
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_00]: This is a tough one.
- 1:04:04[SPEAKER_00]: Interesting.
- 1:04:05[SPEAKER_00]: This is Bryan versus him.
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_00]: Heep versus heep.
- 1:04:08[SPEAKER_00]: And it's interesting because we're about to get Bryan and Gil and then Dave and Zach against each other.
- 1:04:13[SPEAKER_00]: So just like, truly the members of Happy Alien.
- 1:04:16[SPEAKER_00]: Passports and adventure.
- 1:04:18[SPEAKER_01]: That's so true.
- 1:04:20[SPEAKER_00]: Brian versus Gill.
- 1:04:22[SPEAKER_01]: I know the answer.
- 1:04:23[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
- 1:04:25[SPEAKER_00]: It's Gill.
- 1:04:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's Gill.
- 1:04:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's Gill.
- 1:04:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's Gill.
- 1:04:28[SPEAKER_00]: I love Brian.
- 1:04:29[SPEAKER_01]: I love Brian so much.
- 1:04:31[SPEAKER_01]: Citrus adverse Brian.
- 1:04:33[SPEAKER_01]: Like what a guy.
- 1:04:35[SPEAKER_01]: What a guy.
- 1:04:35[SPEAKER_01]: Gill?
- 1:04:36[SPEAKER_01]: I'm good.
- 1:04:38[SPEAKER_01]: I'm good.
- 1:04:39[SPEAKER_01]: I just love him.
- 1:04:41[SPEAKER_01]: He makes subs.
- 1:04:43[SPEAKER_01]: He's a dad.
- 1:04:44[SPEAKER_01]: He's a dad.
- 1:04:46[SPEAKER_00]: He's a dad.
- 1:04:47[SPEAKER_00]: He's a hot boy.
- 1:04:49[SPEAKER_00]: He's always talking to his wife.
- 1:04:51[SPEAKER_00]: And even though he's on the road, he's just like, and a musician where there's probably a lot of temptation, he's like, fuck no, I ride for my life.
- 1:05:01[SPEAKER_00]: And my kids.
- 1:05:02[SPEAKER_00]: And I love.
- 1:05:03[SPEAKER_00]: I love a wife man.
- 1:05:07[SPEAKER_00]: Like, yeah, Gil.
- 1:05:08[SPEAKER_00]: Gil and TJ.
- 1:05:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's going to be a hard match up.
- 1:05:14[SPEAKER_00]: if we get there.
- 1:05:15[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:05:15[SPEAKER_00]: So if we get Dave versus Zach for me, this is I could apply the same rules to that I did for Jamie and Hanlon.
- 1:05:24[SPEAKER_00]: You could also apply the same rules that you did for Dave and Logan.
- 1:05:27[SPEAKER_00]: That's true.
- 1:05:29[SPEAKER_00]: I because like by the time we get to say, I don't know.
- 1:05:33[SPEAKER_00]: By the time you get to it, you're in the life, I'm just kind of like, Zach is whatever.
- 1:05:36[SPEAKER_00]: Like, okay, you're background noise.
- 1:05:38[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that your key is fine.
- 1:05:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's for sure.
- 1:05:42[SPEAKER_00]: It sounds like he and Lane are good.
- 1:05:44[SPEAKER_00]: I just Dave all the way.
- 1:05:49[SPEAKER_01]: We ride for Dave.
- 1:05:50[SPEAKER_01]: We ride for Dave.
- 1:05:52[SPEAKER_01]: Like an honor of my an hunter.
- 1:05:53[SPEAKER_01]: We must ride for Dave.
- 1:05:55[SPEAKER_00]: And with Jess and Marty, it's Jess every time.
- 1:05:59[SPEAKER_01]: Whoa, I didn't even realize where we ended up there.
- 1:06:02[SPEAKER_01]: There's no competition.
- 1:06:03[SPEAKER_00]: There's no competition.
- 1:06:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's just very on both for some people.
- 1:06:06[SPEAKER_00]: Marty, last name we don't know.
- 1:06:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:06:08[SPEAKER_00]: Marty, question mark, Marty, make it guy.
- 1:06:10[SPEAKER_00]: The thing is is that like a lot of people out there might say that this isn't a no-brainer that it is Marty because they don't like just, but I'm sorry.
- 1:06:19[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 1:06:20[SPEAKER_00]: Really?
- 1:06:21[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:06:23[SPEAKER_01]: I need to know who you are.
- 1:06:24[SPEAKER_01]: I need to know who's picking Marty over Jess.
- 1:06:27[SPEAKER_01]: Not, not for any bad reason.
- 1:06:29[SPEAKER_01]: I just need to know who you are.
- 1:06:30[SPEAKER_01]: And then I need to know everything about your life.
- 1:06:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:06:34[SPEAKER_01]: And how you got to this point.
- 1:06:37[SPEAKER_00]: And now we go back to Luke versus Richard.
- 1:06:41[SPEAKER_00]: We do it that.
- 1:06:42[SPEAKER_00]: Really torn.
- 1:06:44[SPEAKER_00]: Can I phone a friend again?
- 1:06:47[SPEAKER_00]: Who's your friend?
- 1:06:47[SPEAKER_00]: Do you have anyone?
- 1:06:50[SPEAKER_00]: I have no more.
- 1:06:50[SPEAKER_00]: I bet he left.
- 1:06:53[SPEAKER_00]: He did.
- 1:06:54[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to text him.
- 1:06:56[SPEAKER_00]: Text a friend?
- 1:06:57[SPEAKER_00]: Oh.
- 1:06:58[SPEAKER_01]: Text the same friend?
- 1:07:00[SPEAKER_01]: Is that what's going here?
- 1:07:01[SPEAKER_01]: The answer now?
- 1:07:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:07:04[SPEAKER_00]: Earlier today I called him buddy and he was like, what?
- 1:07:07[SPEAKER_00]: I said, come on buddy.
- 1:07:08[SPEAKER_00]: And he was like, okay, friend.
- 1:07:10[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I was like, don't ever say the friend.
- 1:07:12[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, again.
- 1:07:13[SPEAKER_00]: Kid.
- 1:07:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he was like, okay, pal, let's go.
- 1:07:17[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, I don't know.
- 1:07:18[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 1:07:20[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, just done me fine.
- 1:07:21[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, let me tell you where my hat is at.
- 1:07:24[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, do tell us that's what we actually want to.
- 1:07:26[SPEAKER_00]: My first instinct was to say Luke, because I do think that just like a knee jerk reaction, Luke versus Richard.
- 1:07:33[SPEAKER_00]: Luke, it's fucking Luke.
- 1:07:33[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, it's Luke.
- 1:07:35[SPEAKER_01]: Like, no explanation needed.
- 1:07:37[SPEAKER_01]: But in my heart, I kind of want to say Richard.
- 1:07:42[SPEAKER_01]: My heart also says Richard.
- 1:07:45[SPEAKER_01]: My head says Luke, but my heart.
- 1:07:47[SPEAKER_01]: It says property for to go more.
- 1:07:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:07:53[SPEAKER_01]: His photo he also looks like an angel.
- 1:07:55[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, doesn't he ever?
- 1:07:57[SPEAKER_01]: Let's see if we can pull it up.
- 1:07:58[SPEAKER_01]: I might have used a different one.
- 1:07:59[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no, here it is.
- 1:08:01[SPEAKER_00]: There it is.
- 1:08:01[SPEAKER_01]: Why don't I kind?
- 1:08:04[SPEAKER_01]: We have to do a whole episode on Richard, like.
- 1:08:07[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:08:08[SPEAKER_01]: Angel of a man.
- 1:08:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:08:09[SPEAKER_01]: No, we definitely do.
- 1:08:11[SPEAKER_00]: I think so that like for me right now, I just finished watching or we're in the midst of watching a year in the life.
- 1:08:19[SPEAKER_00]: Brett doesn't even know any of these things.
- 1:08:23[SPEAKER_00]: He's never seen this.
- 1:08:24[SPEAKER_00]: That's so true.
- 1:08:26[SPEAKER_00]: He's not through the series.
- 1:08:27[SPEAKER_00]: So at this point, he's still in the midst of season six.
- 1:08:30[SPEAKER_00]: I too would probably say Luke at that point.
- 1:08:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:08:36[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 1:08:36[SPEAKER_00]: This is really, this is actually the hardest one.
- 1:08:38[SPEAKER_00]: I think it is, too.
- 1:08:42[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:08:43[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to say Luke and I'm going to say Luke to put him against Max Medina.
- 1:08:47[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:08:49[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:08:50[SPEAKER_00]: Fair.
- 1:08:51[SPEAKER_00]: I'm also kind of thinking about these matchups ahead.
- 1:08:54[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know what I mean?
- 1:08:57[SPEAKER_00]: That's so fair.
- 1:08:58[SPEAKER_01]: Let me take you.
- 1:09:00[SPEAKER_01]: There were so many men I had to do this on two pages.
- 1:09:04[SPEAKER_01]: So let me take you to the next page.
- 1:09:08[SPEAKER_00]: I just feel like Richard, okay, wait, hold on.
- 1:09:11[SPEAKER_00]: Go to the last page.
- 1:09:14[SPEAKER_01]: We went too soon, too soon.
- 1:09:17[SPEAKER_00]: Because I was just about to say, if Richard had another child, he would tell Emily right away.
- 1:09:24[SPEAKER_00]: But Richard lied to Emily about Penalyn Law.
- 1:09:29[SPEAKER_00]: Which is more a greatest line to your wife for
- 1:09:35[SPEAKER_01]: Almost forty years.
- 1:09:36[SPEAKER_00]: Almost forty years about something and lying to your fiance for a few months.
- 1:09:43[SPEAKER_00]: And then we're hiring her even after you get back together and blaming her.
- 1:09:50[SPEAKER_01]: Well, here's the thing.
- 1:09:51[SPEAKER_01]: When he lied about pendulum, that led to them splitting up.
- 1:09:56[SPEAKER_01]: They were going to get divorced.
- 1:09:57[SPEAKER_01]: That was it.
- 1:09:59[SPEAKER_01]: But then they were like, you know what?
- 1:10:00[SPEAKER_01]: We literally have to be together.
- 1:10:03[SPEAKER_01]: And they just moved on.
- 1:10:05[SPEAKER_01]: You're right.
- 1:10:06[SPEAKER_00]: I want to flip it around.
- 1:10:07[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing a flip.
- 1:10:08[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing a flip.
- 1:10:08[SPEAKER_00]: We're losing Luke.
- 1:10:09[SPEAKER_00]: We're losing Luke.
- 1:10:10[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing Luke.
- 1:10:10[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing Luke.
- 1:10:11[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing Luke.
- 1:10:11[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing Luke.
- 1:10:12[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing Luke.
- 1:10:12[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing Luke.
- 1:10:12[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing Luke.
- 1:10:13[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing Luke.
- 1:10:13[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing Luke.
- 1:10:14[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing Luke.
- 1:10:14[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing Luke.
- 1:10:14[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing Luke.
- 1:10:15[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing Luke.
- 1:10:16[SPEAKER_00]: Wow, because Richard handled that.
- 1:10:20[SPEAKER_00]: Richard and Emily handled that better.
- 1:10:23[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:10:25[SPEAKER_01]: Right?
- 1:10:27[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I think that they, I think that they communicate better.
- 1:10:30[SPEAKER_01]: Like if we're talking in terms of like better men, I mean, I don't know that communicating necessarily makes you better man.
- 1:10:38[SPEAKER_01]: I think that Luke shows up for Laura Lye in a way that Richard just doesn't know how to, but also in a way that like Emily wasn't necessarily responding the same way.
- 1:10:49[SPEAKER_01]: to the way the loop.
- 1:10:50[SPEAKER_01]: If like if Luke was showing up for Emily, the same way that he showed up for Lorelie, I don't think she would be into it.
- 1:10:56[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think she would care about having an ice skating ring.
- 1:11:03[SPEAKER_01]: But he also had that like opinion of her in season six that like he didn't want her to be like her.
- 1:11:11[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 1:11:11[SPEAKER_01]: But then, also we have to remember that Luke yelled so rudely at our girl Lorelei.
- 1:11:19[SPEAKER_01]: So mean to her.
- 1:11:20[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Richard's been rude to Emily in the past as well.
- 1:11:25[SPEAKER_01]: I know, but not yelling at her in the street.
- 1:11:27[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he only is ran into her car because he loved her.
- 1:11:31[SPEAKER_00]: Well, no, I'm thinking like early seasons presenting Lorelei Gilmore talking about how, you know, all she does is play in frivolous party season six too.
- 1:11:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's fair.
- 1:11:43[SPEAKER_01]: She was going to buy a plane, but they worked it out.
- 1:11:49[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, this is so hard.
- 1:11:51[SPEAKER_00]: I oscillate back and forth between both of these men.
- 1:11:56[SPEAKER_00]: Would you like to move them together?
- 1:11:58[SPEAKER_01]: Is that an option?
- 1:12:02[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, we make the rolls.
- 1:12:03[SPEAKER_01]: This is our place.
- 1:12:05[SPEAKER_01]: This is our place.
- 1:12:06[SPEAKER_01]: We make the rolls.
- 1:12:09[SPEAKER_01]: Because like, honestly, you could just move them because I think that this is the better matchup versus max.
- 1:12:16[SPEAKER_01]: Like Richard and Max, Luke and Max, we know who wins.
- 1:12:20[SPEAKER_01]: We can move the two of them and just kind of, they can be max.
- 1:12:24[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 1:12:24[SPEAKER_00]: Do it.
- 1:12:25[SPEAKER_01]: Do it.
- 1:12:26[SPEAKER_01]: Let's do it.
- 1:12:27[SPEAKER_01]: Let's do it, friends.
- 1:12:29[SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't interesting matchup to see like Luke V Max and just V Dave.
- 1:12:34[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why they get like similar energy.
- 1:12:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:12:38[SPEAKER_01]: By reason.
- 1:12:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:12:41[SPEAKER_00]: Let's do Luke versus Richard.
- 1:12:43[SPEAKER_00]: Just put stable.
- 1:12:43[SPEAKER_00]: Just move them together.
- 1:12:44[SPEAKER_00]: And I'll face this conundrum in about five minutes.
- 1:12:49[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 1:12:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's like we're really just delaying the inevitable here.
- 1:12:52[SPEAKER_01]: We're not really fixing anything at all.
- 1:12:54[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:12:55[SPEAKER_01]: Let me move him here to be with his pal, Richard.
- 1:13:00[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just going to kind of lay him right on top.
- 1:13:04[SPEAKER_01]: You can just move Luke and Richard and get max out of here.
- 1:13:07[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you want to just get rid of Max entirely.
- 1:13:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:13:11[SPEAKER_01]: Because I just moved them together.
- 1:13:13[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm going to do that.
- 1:13:16[SPEAKER_01]: You have to, you can choose from all three of them.
- 1:13:18[SPEAKER_01]: Oh.
- 1:13:20[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like now the match up is lucrative mats.
- 1:13:23[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
- 1:13:24[SPEAKER_01]: And you have to choose from authory.
- 1:13:25[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:13:26[SPEAKER_01]: But we can do that with masks because this is the wildest, like, final eight.
- 1:13:32[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 1:13:32[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:13:33[SPEAKER_01]: If you include that duo.
- 1:13:35[SPEAKER_01]: So because we've got Jaspi Dave.
- 1:13:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:13:37[SPEAKER_01]: Gilvy Hamlin Trolls to where we shall be TJ and Luke Richard Max.
- 1:13:44[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:13:45[SPEAKER_00]: So for me, this is kind of easy.
- 1:13:47[SPEAKER_00]: It's TJ.
- 1:13:47[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:13:49[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, instead of me shall, yeah, love me shall, but for me I just think that TJ
- 1:13:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's DJ.
- 1:13:57[SPEAKER_00]: We love TJ.
- 1:13:58[SPEAKER_00]: This is a TJ podcast.
- 1:14:00[SPEAKER_00]: We've actually, Gilmore to TJ.
- 1:14:03[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 1:14:04[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to change our name.
- 1:14:05[SPEAKER_00]: Come next year.
- 1:14:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:14:07[SPEAKER_00]: Gilbert's handling it's Gil.
- 1:14:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's Gil.
- 1:14:10[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, Gil.
- 1:14:12[SPEAKER_01]: Gil.
- 1:14:13[SPEAKER_01]: As much as like this cutie angel just brings us the most joy.
- 1:14:22[SPEAKER_01]: Like I'm just being like this.
- 1:14:29[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just reading.
- 1:14:30[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
- 1:14:30[SPEAKER_00]: I mean so fun.
- 1:14:32[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why the layering on Canva created that but like really funny.
- 1:14:37[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, I just like that angel as much as we love him.
- 1:14:40[SPEAKER_01]: I do have to go with Gil of course.
- 1:14:44[SPEAKER_00]: And Jess versus Dave is also tough.
- 1:14:46[SPEAKER_00]: When you think about the two of them in the era that we have Dave in season three, honestly, when they're contemporary.
- 1:14:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, when they're contemporaries, I would probably, I would personally choose Jess for my heart for my fifteen year old self.
- 1:15:00[SPEAKER_00]: I think that like, objectively, objectively, Dave is the better guy, but because we see what Jess, who Jess evolves into, it's got to be Jess.
- 1:15:09[SPEAKER_01]: It's got to be Jess.
- 1:15:11[SPEAKER_00]: It's got to be him.
- 1:15:12[SPEAKER_01]: It's got to be just.
- 1:15:13[SPEAKER_01]: For sure.
- 1:15:14[SPEAKER_01]: No, I totally agree.
- 1:15:15[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's just because we fall off on Dave.
- 1:15:17[SPEAKER_01]: If we had seen who Dave became, I would be more inclined to move Dave forward.
- 1:15:24[SPEAKER_01]: Which is a lot of growth on my behalf because two years ago, Dave won and now he's getting left behind in the final eight.
- 1:15:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:15:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:15:33[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, now we just delayed the conundrum.
- 1:15:37[SPEAKER_00]: I am so oscillating between Luke and Richard and like every time I choose one I want to choose the other.
- 1:15:42[SPEAKER_00]: I want to justify the other because you bring up a good point that Luke is the kind of person who though he shows up in really great ways for his partner Richard is a little more vulnerable when it comes to sharing his feelings because Luke can be really like dismissive
- 1:15:57[SPEAKER_00]: As could Richard, so can Richard.
- 1:15:59[SPEAKER_00]: God, I don't want to do like a loop in Richard parallel episode because they are parallel in some ways, like hiding secrets from their partners and like
- 1:16:09[SPEAKER_01]: I like the idea of the conflict as like fatherly figures to Rory but also the differing relationship that they have with Loreline Emily the different relationship obviously they have with Loreline like how they parent their daughters how they deal with secrets they've kept
- 1:16:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:16:30[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 1:16:30[SPEAKER_01]: Fascinating.
- 1:16:31[SPEAKER_01]: Let's save that one.
- 1:16:33[SPEAKER_01]: So I might that down.
- 1:16:34[SPEAKER_01]: Someone on set.
- 1:16:35[SPEAKER_01]: Right that down.
- 1:16:38[SPEAKER_01]: Someone on set.
- 1:16:39[SPEAKER_01]: Someone on set.
- 1:16:40[SPEAKER_01]: But the you looked at myself in the mirror.
- 1:16:43[SPEAKER_00]: The other thing about it is that like seeing a Luke versus TJ pair up at the end here would be really cool.
- 1:16:52[SPEAKER_01]: because it would be, but okay, how do you think our besties would think about this?
- 1:16:58[SPEAKER_01]: Because we are having a hard time with Luke and Richard because now it turns out we have to have a whole episode about these two men because of our deep feelings for them.
- 1:17:07[SPEAKER_01]: Stay tuned for early, twenty, twenty, six, I imagine.
- 1:17:10[SPEAKER_01]: But how do you think our besties would fare?
- 1:17:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like if Luke threw up a poll right now and it was Luke the Richard, who do you think would win?
- 1:17:19[SPEAKER_01]: Luke.
- 1:17:20[SPEAKER_01]: I think Luke went to, because like, not that I think that you gave zero thought to it, but I think we're thinking about it too much.
- 1:17:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we are thinking about it too much.
- 1:17:29[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, let's put Luke in there.
- 1:17:31[SPEAKER_00]: And I just want everybody to know that I thought about this really long.
- 1:17:35[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, we heard it hard.
- 1:17:37[SPEAKER_00]: They heard.
- 1:17:38[SPEAKER_01]: They heard the whole thing.
- 1:17:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, they did indeed here.
- 1:17:42[SPEAKER_01]: Now, this is very interesting little final four we have here.
- 1:17:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Luke V. T. J. Mm-hmm.
- 1:17:49[SPEAKER_01]: Jess V. Gill.
- 1:17:51[SPEAKER_01]: The one that's staring on the right.
- 1:17:56[SPEAKER_01]: Could you imagine that way?
- 1:17:59[SPEAKER_01]: We had to choose to go.
- 1:18:00[SPEAKER_01]: We had to choose Gill, but could you imagine it being Jess for us to say a love song?
- 1:18:06[SPEAKER_01]: Hamlet Charleston?
- 1:18:10[SPEAKER_01]: Like, even what universe?
- 1:18:13[SPEAKER_00]: What universe?
- 1:18:14[SPEAKER_00]: I'm dying.
- 1:18:15[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:18:15[SPEAKER_00]: Here's, is it?
- 1:18:18[SPEAKER_00]: Is that I?
- 1:18:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, these two.
- 1:18:21[SPEAKER_00]: These two.
- 1:18:21[SPEAKER_00]: I love Gill.
- 1:18:23[SPEAKER_00]: I love Jess.
- 1:18:30[SPEAKER_00]: The thing about Gill is that we meet Gill at a very interesting point in his life.
- 1:18:37[SPEAKER_00]: Whereas part of the reason that I find just to be such a good man is because of the growth he went through, and I don't know what Gill's growth was.
- 1:18:45[SPEAKER_01]: We didn't see it.
- 1:18:46[SPEAKER_01]: I imagine Gill went through a considerable amount to get where he was, but we didn't see it.
- 1:18:51[SPEAKER_00]: I could see Gill going through a phase just like just as he's a musician.
- 1:18:57[SPEAKER_00]: He's on the road, you know, like,
- 1:18:59[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of going through that feeling lonely and cold.
- 1:19:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:19:05[SPEAKER_01]: So I imagine him meeting a woman then and his wife being like, you better get your fucking act together and he actually ends up being a really kind guy.
- 1:19:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I could see them having similar journeys.
- 1:19:15[SPEAKER_00]: So that's what makes this really tough.
- 1:19:18[SPEAKER_01]: Is Gil older Jess?
- 1:19:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm Jess.
- 1:19:32[SPEAKER_01]: Oh man, we know what the answer is.
- 1:19:35[SPEAKER_01]: It's just.
- 1:19:36[SPEAKER_01]: It's just.
- 1:19:37[SPEAKER_00]: This is that girl.
- 1:19:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's just.
- 1:19:41[SPEAKER_00]: This is tough.
- 1:19:42[SPEAKER_00]: This is really tough.
- 1:19:44[SPEAKER_00]: I'm already oscillating and feeling like I should have Richard in here.
- 1:19:47[SPEAKER_00]: Richard V. TJ would be very interesting.
- 1:19:50[SPEAKER_00]: But Luke V. TJ is also equally as interesting.
- 1:19:54[SPEAKER_00]: And I, the thing is about the two of them.
- 1:19:58[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that Luke has a wife man.
- 1:20:01[SPEAKER_01]: I think that he's a Laura Lieman, but like I think that's different.
- 1:20:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:20:07[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know why, but like I don't think that he defends Laura Lie in the same way that he defends, and the same way that TJ would defend Liz to someone else.
- 1:20:21[SPEAKER_01]: Like I find that especially in season six, he won't stand up to Anna for on behalf of Laura Lie.
- 1:20:29[SPEAKER_01]: TJ, one hundred percent vote.
- 1:20:30[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, TJ would break down the door.
- 1:20:33[SPEAKER_01]: He would totally ride for Liz.
- 1:20:34[SPEAKER_01]: But like when Lucas with Laura like, he's a Laura-like man.
- 1:20:38[SPEAKER_01]: Like he doesn't want to go fishing.
- 1:20:41[SPEAKER_01]: He wants to hang out with her.
- 1:20:42[SPEAKER_01]: He wants to do things that she does because he likes being with her.
- 1:20:46[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't think that he defends her and stands up for her in the same way.
- 1:20:51[SPEAKER_01]: Personally, I think that he does a lot of acts of service.
- 1:20:53[SPEAKER_01]: But I think that it really exists within their relationship.
- 1:20:59[SPEAKER_01]: So you're saying TJ,
- 1:21:01[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm not saying either.
- 1:21:03[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just talking on our podcast.
- 1:21:06[SPEAKER_00]: If it was up to you though, would you choose?
- 1:21:09[SPEAKER_01]: Who would I choose?
- 1:21:10[SPEAKER_01]: It isn't up to me, though.
- 1:21:11[SPEAKER_01]: Why would you ask me a question I asked you?
- 1:21:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm voting a friend.
- 1:21:14[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 1:21:15[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not your friend.
- 1:21:16[SPEAKER_00]: You're not.
- 1:21:17[SPEAKER_00]: What are you?
- 1:21:18[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 1:21:18[SPEAKER_01]: I'm voting.
- 1:21:20[SPEAKER_00]: I'm voting a partner.
- 1:21:23[SPEAKER_00]: Here's the thing is that what I kind of want to do here is I want to put Luke up against Jess and put it on our story and see what the people say.
- 1:21:33[SPEAKER_00]: Ooh, okay.
- 1:21:35[SPEAKER_00]: So we're not going to have an answer here.
- 1:21:36[SPEAKER_00]: We're not going to have an answer.
- 1:21:37[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to leave you all on a cliffhanger and we're going to put this up on our Instagram story because I would be inclined to absolutely agree with you and say that like TJ V Luke, I kind of am inclined to say TJ is the better man in how he handles his relationships, how he shows up for his partner, et cetera.
- 1:21:55[SPEAKER_00]: We did get more of an insight into how Luke handled his relationship, maybe from a less close lens as the one we get with TJ and Liz.
- 1:22:05[SPEAKER_00]: We would find Luke and Laura lie to be a little, I don't know if you zoom in on Liz and TJ, would you feel the same way about them who's to say?
- 1:22:14[SPEAKER_01]: But I find Luke and Jess so forgetting TJ as a person like the mystic hammer.
- 1:22:23[SPEAKER_01]: He believed it.
- 1:22:24[SPEAKER_00]: Well,
- 1:22:25[SPEAKER_00]: He put it back a long.
- 1:22:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's fair.
- 1:22:28[SPEAKER_00]: He's not a very self-aware person.
- 1:22:31[SPEAKER_01]: He's a bit of a cookie character.
- 1:22:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:22:34[SPEAKER_01]: He does he's an etchiscatch.
- 1:22:36[SPEAKER_01]: He does.
- 1:22:37[SPEAKER_01]: And I run it true.
- 1:22:39[SPEAKER_01]: So, but I'm so meant to this man that he puts in.
- 1:22:42[SPEAKER_00]: Totally.
- 1:22:44[SPEAKER_00]: So in choosing Luke, I want to know what the people say about Luke VHS and we can reveal our answer.
- 1:22:49[SPEAKER_00]: The people are being y'all.
- 1:22:50[SPEAKER_00]: You're the apple.
- 1:22:51[SPEAKER_00]: Next week is our back to school episode, but we can start it off by sharing what y'all said about Luke VHS in re who's the better man.
- 1:23:00[SPEAKER_01]: I will have more to reveal on that in the next episode.
