- 0:11Speaker 2: Your eyes are destroyed.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Hey, everybody. Welcome to Conspiracy, the show. I'm your host,
- 0:36Speaker 3: Adam Todd Brown. Joining me as co-host this week, Connor's back.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Your prodigal co-host returns.
- 0:43Speaker 3: I'm glad that I could... Knock out that intro as
- 0:46Speaker 3: you were stuffing food in your mouth. What are you eating?
- 0:51Speaker 4: I'm trying to throw some pizza down the hatch because
- 0:53Speaker 4: I was like sitting here going like, why do I
- 0:55Speaker 4: feel like shit? Like I'm not ready to do this podcast.
- 0:57Speaker 4: And I was like, oh, I haven't eaten since like
- 0:59Speaker 4: 8 a.m.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Yesterday. So I'm eating pizza frantically. So sorry.
- 1:03Speaker 3: That'll do it. Also joining us, Samantha Jane is here.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Hi, I'm back.
- 1:10Speaker 3: How is it going?
- 1:12Speaker 2: It's okay. I'm a busy little bee lately, but that's good.
- 1:16Speaker 3: I hear you. Yeah, it's been a busy week for
- 1:18Speaker 3: me also.
- 1:19Speaker 4: Last two podcasts we've done, the guests have had makeup
- 1:24Speaker 4: and a nice Zoom background, and I'm having a horrible
- 1:27Speaker 4: acne day, and I'm eating cold pizza. It's just I've
- 1:30Speaker 4: never felt so fucking unemployed. Thanks for this.
- 1:34Speaker 3: You look like one of those people who... is on
- 1:36Speaker 3: the run from the police, but they go on social
- 1:39Speaker 3: media and talk to police a bunch. Like, you look
- 1:41Speaker 3: like you're about to do that.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Check out all these iPhones I got.
- 1:46Speaker 3: So we were going to do an episode about intelligence
- 1:50Speaker 3: agencies this week, and then a natural disaster broke out. So,
- 1:54Speaker 3: of course, there are conspiracies about said natural disaster. We're
- 2:00Speaker 3: talking about Hurricane Milton, but this is the second of
- 2:04Speaker 3: two hurricanes that happened this in close proximity. So some
- 2:07Speaker 3: of the conspiracies are about Hurricane Helene, too. And here's
- 2:11Speaker 3: the thing. They're dumb. They're mostly dumb.
- 2:14Speaker 2: They blow, in fact.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Whoa.
- 2:17Speaker 3: I don't get it. What do you mean?
- 2:18Speaker 2: Hurricane pun.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Oh, OK.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Got it.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Sure, sure, sure.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Joe Biden doesn't care about Florida people.
- 2:24Speaker 3: It seems like this all started like so many other
- 2:29Speaker 3: terrible things in this country do. with a tweet from
- 2:33Speaker 3: Marjorie Taylor Greene. On October 3rd, she tweeted, Yes, they
- 2:38Speaker 3: can control the weather. It's ridiculous for anyone to lie
- 2:42Speaker 3: and say it can't be done. End quote. And there's
- 2:45Speaker 3: a lot to unpack in what is a relatively short
- 2:49Speaker 3: tweet there.
- 2:50Speaker 5: Marjorie, bless her heart, has already called us out, Jews,
- 2:54Speaker 5: for our Space lasers. So why wouldn't we use our
- 2:58Speaker 5: space lasers to control the weather?
- 3:00Speaker 2: It's pretty obvious.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Yeah, it makes perfect sense to me because whenever I think,
- 3:06Speaker 3: what group would really want to control the weather in
- 3:10Speaker 3: this world?
- 3:11Speaker 2: We're always cold. We're always hot. We're trying to get
- 3:14Speaker 2: it right, you know?
- 3:15Speaker 1: And you know, every time it's overcast, you know what
- 3:18Speaker 1: I want? A bagel. Oh.
- 3:20Speaker 2: It's Big Bagel, baby.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Yeah. Part of the overall, the same overall nexus of motives.
- 3:27Speaker 5: A hurricane has an eye in it, just like a
- 3:29Speaker 5: bagel has a hole in it.
- 3:31Speaker 4: Oh. And what is a space laser, if not Earth's
- 3:34Speaker 4: very own thermostat they can fiddle with all day?
- 3:38Speaker 3: Yeah, Marjorie Taylor Greene. The first thing I... would question
- 3:43Speaker 3: about this tweet is, we've already touched on it a
- 3:46Speaker 3: little bit. Who does she mean by they?
- 3:48Speaker 4: Yeah, she must have known that leaving this open-ended, she
- 3:51Speaker 4: was like, what? I thought everybody would get DARPA from that.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the thing. I can't tell this time if
- 3:58Speaker 3: she does mean Jews or if she means Democrats or
- 4:02Speaker 3: if she uses those words interchangeably.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Who knows? Yeah. Are those separate concepts to her?
- 4:07Speaker 3: Yeah, because there's the heart conspiracy. We've done an episode
- 4:11Speaker 3: on that. I'll even link to it in the show notes.
- 4:14Speaker 3: I don't think there's nothing to the idea that you
- 4:17Speaker 3: could kind of maybe manipulate the weather using science, but.
- 4:21Speaker 4: They have a lot of strange infrastructure and stuff, I
- 4:23Speaker 4: remember from that episode.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Yeah, and it was a thing that the government was
- 4:28Speaker 3: using for defense purposes and never really explained why, but...
- 4:32Speaker 3: That is a whole different animal.
- 4:35Speaker 4: What if it was just to listen to the Russian
- 4:37Speaker 4: version of ham radio? Like, just Russian chugger?
- 4:40Speaker 3: That wouldn't surprise me. But that is a far cry
- 4:45Speaker 3: from creating a hurricane. I don't know why anyone would
- 4:48Speaker 3: create a hurricane for election reasons, which seems like what
- 4:53Speaker 3: people are getting at also.
- 4:55Speaker 1: I get if I owned a levy company, you know? Yeah. Yeah.
- 5:00Speaker 5: Well, as we talked about, too, like why would Jews
- 5:02Speaker 5: keep hitting Florida where we are? Like one of the
- 5:05Speaker 5: three states that we're cool with. Why would we keep
- 5:08Speaker 5: sending hurricanes to all of our grandparents? Like, why would
- 5:11Speaker 5: we do that?
- 5:12Speaker 4: Maybe there's one sect of Jews that's like the Florida
- 5:15Speaker 4: retirement Jews. They're just holding us back. We got to
- 5:18Speaker 4: cut them loose. Turn on the hurricane machine. Tropical Storm Adolf.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 5:23Speaker 2: It's the Rothschild.
- 5:25Speaker 1: There was.
- 5:25Speaker 5: So when I Googled this just to find the tweet,
- 5:28Speaker 5: I did find, by the way, let's not. Marjorie was
- 5:31Speaker 5: not the first. In like 2018, there was like a
- 5:33Speaker 5: guy in D.C. who totally posted a video about like Jewish,
- 5:38Speaker 5: the Rothschilds, Jewish conspiracies controlling the weather.
- 5:42Speaker 3: And I guess I haven't, maybe we should do an
- 5:45Speaker 3: episode on that, but what is the reasoning?
- 5:48Speaker 1: Why?
- 5:49Speaker 3: What do the Rothschilds want to fucking control the weather for?
- 5:52Speaker 2: What's that book?
- 5:53Speaker 1: EZE once said the only way to stop crime was snow.
- 5:57Speaker 5: The Protocols of Zion, I think it all... And they
- 6:00Speaker 5: were rich, you know, they're rich. So that's a problem.
- 6:04Speaker 5: We can't have that.
- 6:05Speaker 1: That's a pretty huge lever of control.
- 6:07Speaker 4: That tells you whether fucking Billabong or Patagonia is going
- 6:10Speaker 4: to be going up in the stock market, right?
- 6:13Speaker 1: On some level.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Jews hate the cold, though. No, we're not good at it.
- 6:17Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. You can go either way.
- 6:19Speaker 5: Not a lot of Jewish skiers that I know. Israel
- 6:23Speaker 5: does not have a good bobsled team. You know, it's
- 6:26Speaker 5: not our thing.
- 6:28Speaker 1: I do want to see Israeli runnings now.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Honestly, I'm here for that remake so hard.
- 6:35Speaker 3: So, yeah, with Marjorie Taylor Greene being behind this, there
- 6:37Speaker 3: is always the possibility that she's referring to Jews.
- 6:42Speaker 4: As We have upgraded the threat level to Marjorie Taylor Orange.
- 6:48Speaker 3: There's another tweet out there from a crypto bro named
- 6:53Speaker 3: Matt Wallace. Wallace with one L. That's weird.
- 6:56Speaker 2: And we know people in crypto clearly are smart.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Yes.
- 6:58Speaker 3: And definitely not racist in any way.
- 7:01Speaker 1: There's like three smart people in crypto and they don't
- 7:03Speaker 1: tell anybody they're in crypto. Yeah.
- 7:06Speaker 3: This is his tweet about the hurricanes. Don't worry, guys.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Weather modification isn't real. It's just a coincidence that Hurricane
- 7:14Speaker 3: Helene is one of the most devastating inland damage storms
- 7:18Speaker 3: in history. And that hundreds of pro-Trump counties are being
- 7:23Speaker 3: massively impacted during the most important election of our lifetimes,
- 7:27Speaker 3: end quote. And yeah, bitch, that does sound like a coincidence, actually. Yeah.
- 7:32Speaker 5: Also, wasn't it Trump who drained FEMA of money during
- 7:36Speaker 5: his term? He like highly defunded FEMA. So if you
- 7:39Speaker 5: want to like, why is FEMA not doing good?
- 7:42Speaker 2: That might be a person.
- 7:43Speaker 4: There's a phenomenon I really enjoy where the guy that
- 7:47Speaker 4: is like most against the quote unquote victim complex has
- 7:52Speaker 4: himself the most creative and strange victim complex where it's
- 7:57Speaker 4: like Jewish space lasers fucking blew my deck away.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:02Speaker 2: I will say, surprisingly, the one thing.
- 8:05Speaker 4: That is a sniper shot of the universe being out
- 8:07Speaker 4: to get you.
- 8:08Speaker 1: That's a lot of shit going on.
- 8:09Speaker 5: That Trump is... He's a little bit nice to the
- 8:11Speaker 5: Jews because of his daughter. I think that's our only
- 8:15Speaker 5: saving grace with him.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Well, and she converted. She's Ivanka, right?
- 8:19Speaker 5: Or Ivana?
- 8:20Speaker 1: Ivanka.
- 8:21Speaker 2: She converted.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Ivana's the mama.
- 8:23Speaker 2: So, she's in now.
- 8:24Speaker 4: I love this fucking Scandinavian scarecrow of a woman.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Just... Hitler Youth poster child. I don't know. Reeks of clout.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Clout conversion. That's what I think.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Do I have clout? Do I get clout?
- 8:40Speaker 1: You got Jew clout?
- 8:41Speaker 4: I got Irish clout. That's completely worthless. At least people
- 8:43Speaker 4: think that you run the banks.
- 8:45Speaker 3: They think?
- 8:46Speaker 1: We're not even behind potatoes. Everybody knows that's Idaho, you know?
- 8:50Speaker 5: I barely get a bank account. I don't know if
- 8:53Speaker 5: somebody's just not hitting me up for the meetings or
- 8:55Speaker 5: I got kicked out of the cabal because I didn't
- 8:57Speaker 5: finish Hebrew school.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Maybe that's it. I wasn't pot mitzvahed, so maybe I'm
- 9:00Speaker 2: not in the.
- 9:01Speaker 4: At least you're perceived to be genetically powerful enough to
- 9:03Speaker 4: be a part of a global conspiracy is all I'm saying.
- 9:06Speaker 4: People don't even think that the Irish people run Ireland.
- 9:09Speaker 4: When I went over there, I asked the tour guide,
- 9:11Speaker 4: I was like, what's up with the government? He was like,
- 9:12Speaker 4: we don't have a government. I was like, okay, he's
- 9:14Speaker 4: being a weird libertarian. I was watching the news in
- 9:16Speaker 4: my hotel. They're like, it's day 48, we don't have
- 9:18Speaker 4: a government.
- 9:19Speaker 1: I haven't organized a government. They can't even do it.
- 9:23Speaker 1: I'm just saying. I wish people thought I controlled the weather.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Well, you are a white man, so you do control
- 9:31Speaker 2: a lot of shit. I've got that going for you.
- 9:34Speaker 1: I'll just have to fall back on that again.
- 9:39Speaker 3: And no matter what side of this argument you fall on,
- 9:43Speaker 3: is it Democrats or Jews who are orchestrating this hurricane?
- 9:47Speaker 3: The answer is no.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Democrats can't orchestrate the Democratic Party. Yeah.
- 9:53Speaker 3: This reminds me a lot of the 5G conspiracies when
- 9:58Speaker 3: that technology was rolling out there were all of these
- 10:03Speaker 3: people who were convinced that the waves that 5g technology
- 10:07Speaker 3: used was somehow giving people covid.
- 10:11Speaker 5: Oh, and then the chips that they implanted in us
- 10:14Speaker 5: through the vaccines were probably getting set off from the
- 10:17Speaker 5: 5G waves. Right.
- 10:18Speaker 4: I would on some level if DARPA was like, hey,
- 10:20Speaker 4: turn on the COVID router and it just Aquaman.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Out waves of COVID. I got to give it to them.
- 10:26Speaker 1: They earned that one.
- 10:28Speaker 3: The only thing about a theory like that is if
- 10:30Speaker 3: you're the people deploying it, how do you keep it
- 10:33Speaker 3: from hitting the people you don't want it?
- 10:35Speaker 4: To hit like you probably give them an anti-vaccine or
- 10:38Speaker 4: something everybody though everybody in the government oh they're all
- 10:42Speaker 4: 28 of the tony soprano's friends yes.
- 10:44Speaker 3: But see these conspiracies are always angled toward oh well
- 10:48Speaker 3: this side is trying to take out this.
- 10:50Speaker 5: Side I think with this side, yeah, the Democrats control
- 10:54Speaker 5: anything Jews can't control.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Have you seen Jews argue?
- 10:56Speaker 5: We can't all come to a decision to, it always
- 11:00Speaker 5: implies that some group has like, yeah, we're all on
- 11:03Speaker 5: board and nobody has a problem with it. We've come
- 11:05Speaker 5: to an agreement and we're working together, which is like
- 11:08Speaker 5: really utopian.
- 11:10Speaker 4: You know where I could imagine that happening though is OPEC,
- 11:14Speaker 4: Shell and Exxon and shit, you know, like they pretty
- 11:16Speaker 4: much all got the same motives.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Like, Yeah.
- 11:18Speaker 3: In a case like that, it would make sense. But
- 11:20Speaker 3: with hurricanes.
- 11:22Speaker 4: With whatever nerds run weather, Lord knows how tedious the
- 11:25Speaker 4: argument about what degree to tilt the satellite dish gets,
- 11:29Speaker 4: you know?
- 11:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:30Speaker 3: And with a hurricane, if the idea is, oh, they're
- 11:34Speaker 3: just trying to make shit hard for Republican voters, it's
- 11:37Speaker 3: going to do the same thing to Democrat voters, right?
- 11:40Speaker 4: Black people get Jim Crow laws and then the Republicans
- 11:43Speaker 4: get the hurricane gun. Yeah.
- 11:45Speaker 3: This is obviously going to impact Democrat voters, too. It
- 11:49Speaker 3: makes no sense just on the most surface level, like
- 11:53Speaker 3: aside from the science and whether you could even create
- 11:57Speaker 3: a hurricane.
- 11:58Speaker 5: And it's not like this isn't what we literally call
- 12:01Speaker 5: a hurricane season in the state that has a football
- 12:04Speaker 5: team named the Hurricanes because it happens all the fucking time.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Yeah, this is such a common thing. And this is
- 12:12Speaker 3: such a great example of how adept we are in
- 12:16Speaker 3: this country at politicizing anything, fucking anything political. You're right.
- 12:22Speaker 3: The most unthinkable part of this conspiracy is that a
- 12:26Speaker 3: bunch of people agreed.
- 12:27Speaker 4: I was talking about the guy with the crazy victim complex,
- 12:29Speaker 4: but I think this is like the behavior of a lonely,
- 12:32Speaker 4: isolated person, you know, sitting around probably with a little
- 12:35Speaker 4: bit of tropical depression going on.
- 12:37Speaker 5: The thing about conspiracy theories, and I think why it's
- 12:41Speaker 5: kind of like taken off more. since like religion has
- 12:45Speaker 5: waned a little bit, it fulfills the same.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Need of like, somebody had a plan. God did it.
- 12:50Speaker 2: This is all his plan.
- 12:51Speaker 5: Somebody has a plan and somebody knows what's going on.
- 12:55Speaker 4: Or even just, there's a fucking answer in a book somewhere,
- 12:58Speaker 4: you know, I can tell you the truth, but Oh God,
- 13:01Speaker 4: the truth.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Right.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Like chaos is too scary.
- 13:03Speaker 5: So we're just going to assume somebody somewhere knows what's
- 13:06Speaker 5: going on.
- 13:06Speaker 2: They have a plan and they are in control.
- 13:09Speaker 4: They don't want to listen to Yumi and Adam talk
- 13:11Speaker 4: for 90 minutes to find out it's probably NATO or whatever.
- 13:14Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 13:14Speaker 3: Like, that's the thing you hear about every conspiracy theory is,
- 13:18Speaker 3: you know, that like the kind of religion comparison and
- 13:21Speaker 3: people just looking for explanations. And I buy that with
- 13:24Speaker 3: conspiracies like this. Any there's some stuff like I brought
- 13:29Speaker 3: up on an episode recently, 9-11 families trying to get
- 13:32Speaker 3: to the bottom of how much Saudi Arabia was involved
- 13:36Speaker 3: in 9-11. I don't think they are grasping for straws.
- 13:40Speaker 3: I think they're looking for answers that they should get.
- 13:42Speaker 5: Yeah. But that's not like saying, God did this because
- 13:46Speaker 5: the people in the building were sinners or, you know,
- 13:48Speaker 5: God sent this hurricane because of all the sin out there.
- 13:53Speaker 2: That feels very similar to me.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Real quick, just checking. Did you have any relatives that
- 13:57Speaker 1: were in the World Trade Center when it was attacked?
- 13:59Speaker 1: I did not. Oh, very interesting.
- 14:01Speaker 2: I had a lot of family in New York.
- 14:04Speaker 1: I wonder why that is. Hmm. Hmm.
- 14:07Speaker 3: Where were you on 9-11, Samantha?
- 14:09Speaker 2: I was in high school. I was in my... I.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Remember I was... A likely story.
- 14:14Speaker 5: I was in my poetry class and all of us
- 14:17Speaker 5: from New York were like, can we.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Use the phone to call our families?
- 14:21Speaker 5: We were all watching it on the TV in high
- 14:23Speaker 5: school because I'm just a little baby.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Although you were probably in elementary school or something.
- 14:27Speaker 3: I mean, I was at work. I had a job
- 14:30Speaker 3: by then.
- 14:30Speaker 1: I was getting molested. I was like, oh, geez, what
- 14:33Speaker 1: a day.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Wow, I'm so sorry that got overshadowed for you. That
- 14:39Speaker 2: must have been hard.
- 14:39Speaker 4: In between towers one and two, no less. I didn't
- 14:43Speaker 4: have a single moment.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Wow, in the tower taint.
- 14:46Speaker 1: In tower seven is what I called it.
- 14:49Speaker 3: So all of this is not to say that people
- 14:52Speaker 3: haven't tried to manipulate weather before.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Oh, we're going to try.
- 14:56Speaker 1: I've cast a number of unsuccessful spells.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Listen, this is going to sound crazy, but when I
- 15:03Speaker 3: was a kid, my cousins got way into white magic,
- 15:09Speaker 3: which is like casting spells.
- 15:11Speaker 2: That aren't- Come on, do you know how many tarot
- 15:12Speaker 2: cards and crystals and shit I have? I know all
- 15:14Speaker 2: about it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 15:16Speaker 3: There was this incantation that you could say that was
- 15:20Speaker 3: supposed to make the wind start blowing. I'm not fucking joking.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Every time I said it, the wind started blowing. And
- 15:26Speaker 3: I wish I could find that fucking book and try
- 15:29Speaker 3: that shit as an adult because I rocked some fucking
- 15:35Speaker 3: second and third grade moms.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Adam, did you start this hurricane?
- 15:38Speaker 1: Actually, I think I know what you're talking about was
- 15:41Speaker 1: the incantation.
- 15:42Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's just blowing in people's faces.
- 15:45Speaker 1: It's great. That's super sick.
- 15:46Speaker 4: I could talk for 45 minutes about weird, spooky childhood things,
- 15:50Speaker 4: but I think we have to expose the truth, bring
- 15:53Speaker 4: people justice or something.
- 15:55Speaker 2: We all know magic is real. That's not what we're debating.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Obviously. We're all adults.
- 16:01Speaker 2: That's a completely different discussion.
- 16:03Speaker 1: We know that do what thou wilt is the whole
- 16:05Speaker 1: of the law.
- 16:08Speaker 3: So the NOAA, that's the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration,
- 16:13Speaker 3: they tried something called cloud seeding.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Don't condescend to me. I know what the IOACA.
- 16:18Speaker 2: NOAA, that's what I call them.
- 16:20Speaker 3: In the 60s, 70s, and 80s, they tried something called
- 16:24Speaker 3: cloud seeding, which was supposed to help with droughts and shit.
- 16:27Speaker 4: They taught me about this in school. I thought they
- 16:29Speaker 4: could control the weather. They just put some more hydrogen
- 16:32Speaker 4: into a cloud or something.
- 16:33Speaker 5: They can make it rain, but they can't start a
- 16:36Speaker 5: hurricane or a stopwatch.
- 16:39Speaker 4: But they can make it rain if it's like about
- 16:40Speaker 4: to rain, like they can tickle your balls and make
- 16:43Speaker 4: you calm if you're about to rain on some crops.
- 16:46Speaker 5: Yeah, they can get up in that plane and drop
- 16:47Speaker 5: some singles and make it fucking rain, but they can't
- 16:51Speaker 5: do like giant systems.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:54Speaker 3: And even then, their experiments were meant to see if
- 16:58Speaker 3: they could lessen the impact of hurricanes.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Well, of course, that's what they would say.
- 17:03Speaker 3: Yeah, that is true. The government's not going to be like, yeah,
- 17:06Speaker 3: we were trying to make hurricanes.
- 17:08Speaker 4: We're not going to replace this with bullets and do.
- 17:10Speaker 1: It in Africa. Who even told you that's crazy?
- 17:13Speaker 3: If you've ever seen the documentary Snowpiercer, I'm pretty sure
- 17:17Speaker 3: it's a documentary. Might just be a feature film.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Love Snowpiercer.
- 17:20Speaker 3: It's one of my favorite movies.
- 17:22Speaker 1: It was also my porn name.
- 17:25Speaker 3: The scenario in Snowpiercer. That's how it happened. The government
- 17:30Speaker 3: was putting aerosols into the sky and it caused the
- 17:34Speaker 3: earth to freeze. That's an actual thing.
- 17:37Speaker 1: That's the end of the book Freakonomics.
- 17:39Speaker 4: I read that when I was a kid and it
- 17:41Speaker 4: actually gave me hope for the future and it scared
- 17:42Speaker 4: the shit out of me. But it was like when
- 17:44Speaker 4: volcanoes erupt, they emit a certain chemical that orientates itself.
- 17:47Speaker 1: In the atmosphere that reflects light back outwards.
- 17:50Speaker 4: And if we just pummeled some of this shit up
- 17:51Speaker 4: into the Gulf Stream, it would cost a few trillion dollars.
- 17:53Speaker 4: But we could theoretically turn down the temperature on the Earth.
- 17:56Speaker 4: And I thought that's so interesting. And then now you
- 17:58Speaker 4: see Snowpiercer and you're like, of course, that's how it
- 17:59Speaker 4: would actually go.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 18:01Speaker 2: I've seen a lot of things where they're like, let's
- 18:03Speaker 2: just put up a big shade in the sky to
- 18:05Speaker 2: block the sun.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Like a Futurama episode. Yeah, exactly.
- 18:08Speaker 2: It always works.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Why couldn't we do that?
- 18:12Speaker 2: Why don't we just blow up the moon?
- 18:15Speaker 3: We should have done that. We should have given it
- 18:16Speaker 3: a shot. I don't know why that plan got shot.
- 18:18Speaker 5: No, because periods would be absolutely insane.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Nobody needs the moon like people with a uterus.
- 18:26Speaker 1: And what do you need the tide for? Yeah. Fuck surfers.
- 18:29Speaker 4: I would miss werewolves more than the goddamn tide. Thank
- 18:32Speaker 4: you very much.
- 18:33Speaker 3: Also, what kind of weapons did we think we had
- 18:35Speaker 3: that we were going to blow up the moon? You
- 18:38Speaker 3: might put a dent in it, but we're not going
- 18:40Speaker 3: to fucking explode the moon.
- 18:42Speaker 4: We could make the moon's atmosphere really lame ass and
- 18:47Speaker 4: fuck it up. But yeah, could we blow the whole
- 18:49Speaker 4: thing up like Frieza?
- 18:51Speaker 1: I think not.
- 18:51Speaker 2: I think we would just end up blowing meteors back
- 18:54Speaker 2: at ourselves.
- 18:55Speaker 1: That would be so funny. Oh, shit, France.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Oh, no, it's coming back.
- 19:02Speaker 3: So there's also harp, which, again, we've done a whole
- 19:06Speaker 3: episode on that. I do think harp was a weird thing.
- 19:11Speaker 3: And I do think the government was trying to use
- 19:13Speaker 3: it for military shit. I just don't know that they
- 19:17Speaker 3: ever accomplished anything with it.
- 19:20Speaker 4: Because they'll literally do stuff like, well, you know, someone
- 19:22Speaker 4: said the Russians had a chicken that could read minds.
- 19:25Speaker 4: So the mash got to six months later. I'm going
- 19:27Speaker 4: to chicken farm the clipboard, you know, having these guys
- 19:30Speaker 4: pick out the fucking winning lottery numbers or whatever. You know,
- 19:34Speaker 4: they put so much spec. It's like Wile E. Coyote,
- 19:37Speaker 4: the shit the CIA does. Operation Acoustic Kitty was like
- 19:40Speaker 4: killed 15 cats to put a fucking recording device inside
- 19:43Speaker 4: a cat. And the plan was to leave it outside
- 19:45Speaker 4: the Kremlin so that a Russian guy would go, that's
- 19:47Speaker 4: a cute kitty. I will take you inside the Kremlin
- 19:50Speaker 4: and I will spill my guts about all my secrets.
- 19:52Speaker 1: And the cat just got hit by a truck as
- 19:53Speaker 1: soon as they dropped it off. It was millions of dollars.
- 19:56Speaker 2: This is the saddest thing I've ever heard.
- 19:58Speaker 1: It's awful. So it's like, did they try to control
- 20:01Speaker 1: the weather? I'm sure. Yeah.
- 20:03Speaker 3: And when we talked about harp on that episode, I, Reference,
- 20:08Speaker 3: there's a patent out there that this guy filed and
- 20:12Speaker 3: the device in this patent, if it worked, would be
- 20:17Speaker 3: capable of making some changes to the weather and whatnot.
- 20:21Speaker 3: But one, I don't know that it ever worked. And two,
- 20:27Speaker 3: making a hurricane is such a it would be such
- 20:30Speaker 3: a risky thing.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Yeah, really. The King Kong eggs are ready to hatch, sir.
- 20:36Speaker 3: So yeah, I don't think HAARP was ever meant to
- 20:38Speaker 3: make hurricanes. And if it was, I really don't think
- 20:42Speaker 3: they're influencing elections with it. Also, if this was meant
- 20:45Speaker 3: to influence the election and they were doing it on purpose,
- 20:49Speaker 3: why wouldn't they do it closer to the election? It's
- 20:51Speaker 3: October 10th as we record this. Motherfuckers are still going
- 20:56Speaker 3: to be able to vote in Florida.
- 20:58Speaker 4: Yeah, they'll have little fucking rowboats and canoes and shit
- 21:00Speaker 4: by then or whatever they need.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Yeah, we'll figure it out.
- 21:03Speaker 5: Yeah, they just need to get the shit out of
- 21:06Speaker 5: their lungs. They'll get power back by then.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Yeah. Again, I love it.
- 21:11Speaker 4: It's like if you're, well, if you live in a
- 21:13Speaker 4: black county, you got to show 16 forms of photo
- 21:15Speaker 4: ID and trace your lineage back to the Mayflower.
- 21:18Speaker 1: If you live in a white county, it's a fucking
- 21:20Speaker 1: hurricane gun, son. Yeah.
- 21:22Speaker 4: I'm about to blow your ass out of the voting pool, motherfucker.
- 21:26Speaker 3: Another thing I mentioned on that harp episode, there was
- 21:30Speaker 3: a point where the official website for harp said that
- 21:33Speaker 3: it was being used for defense purposes also, or for
- 21:37Speaker 3: military purposes. And they've since like scrubbed that from the website,
- 21:41Speaker 3: but I found it on the way back machine. But
- 21:44Speaker 3: I think people automatically take that to mean, oh, well,
- 21:48Speaker 3: they're going to control the weather to cause chaos around
- 21:51Speaker 3: the world. What if for defense purposes meant they were
- 21:54Speaker 3: looking into setting up like a Star Wars or Iron
- 21:59Speaker 3: Dome kind of thing where if we get hit with
- 22:03Speaker 3: nuclear weapons, maybe we can use this array of fucking
- 22:07Speaker 3: space lasers to shoot them down?
- 22:09Speaker 2: No, we wouldn't do that because that would make sense.
- 22:12Speaker 5: What if it was like defending against other hurricanes, like
- 22:15Speaker 5: real hurricanes?
- 22:16Speaker 2: We're going to send one of ours to go get it.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Oh, that'd be cool as shit.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I believe there was a guy who was like, oh, fuck.
- 22:22Speaker 1: When I was setting the dials, I did the wrong ocean.
- 22:24Speaker 1: I thought I had it set to India, but it
- 22:26Speaker 1: was Atlantic.
- 22:28Speaker 3: That would also be funny. So, yeah, I just I
- 22:31Speaker 3: don't know. This is dumb. It's a dumb conspiracy. The
- 22:34Speaker 3: idea that this hurricane was created to influence the election
- 22:38Speaker 3: by Democrats and or Jews, both, who knows? It's dumb.
- 22:42Speaker 4: It's just one of those conspiracies that makes you hate
- 22:44Speaker 4: to be a conspiracy theorist because it sort of just
- 22:46Speaker 4: is a turd in the punch bowl of the rest
- 22:48Speaker 4: of them. Most people think that they're all this, you know.
- 22:51Speaker 4: So unfortunately, you have to go around pointing these ones
- 22:54Speaker 4: out and taking the time to read through a bunch
- 22:55Speaker 4: of uninteresting shit when you'd really rather be learning about
- 22:59Speaker 4: the shapeshifters and the cabals behind the decisions that run
- 23:03Speaker 4: the world.
- 23:03Speaker 2: We're back to Jews. Now we're back to Jews.
- 23:06Speaker 1: No, no, no. These are lizards, lizards. This is all
- 23:10Speaker 1: the David Icke thing.
- 23:11Speaker 5: Well, we are like, no, the lizard people is an
- 23:13Speaker 5: anti-Semitic thing.
- 23:15Speaker 1: David Icke believes they're lizards. I've read the whole John
- 23:18Speaker 1: Ronson book. It's very interesting.
- 23:19Speaker 4: Like people, he's being maligned as an anti-Semite. And he's like, no,
- 23:22Speaker 4: I'm talking about like with scales and eyes.
- 23:24Speaker 5: So then if, so if they're actually like lizards, how
- 23:27Speaker 5: did they do in winter? Why don't they go to sleep?
- 23:30Speaker 5: They're cold blooded.
- 23:31Speaker 4: Oh, we got to talk about the hollow earth theory.
- 23:33Speaker 4: I mean, It's not hollow, per se, but honeycombed. And
- 23:37Speaker 4: in these caverns, different species.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Sorry, the hollow Earth?
- 23:42Speaker 4: That's the Earth that's filled with Gwen Stefani, which is
- 23:45Speaker 4: a much superior future I'd rather live in. But unfortunately,
- 23:48Speaker 4: it's full of lizards and giants and ice ogres and
- 23:51Speaker 4: Nazi elf gods from aeons past, according to some people.
- 23:55Speaker 3: How are we feeling about the hollow moon theory?
- 23:57Speaker 4: That one is, well, they do say when the fucking
- 24:00Speaker 4: lander hit the surface, it rang like a bell.
- 24:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:04Speaker 2: It's got to be light to be up there.
- 24:06Speaker 4: And I guess there's Native American myths that say everything,
- 24:10Speaker 4: but like they're, you know, actually I know them. They
- 24:13Speaker 4: told me this at fifth grade camp. There's like Native
- 24:15Speaker 4: American myths about like the day the moon appeared and
- 24:17Speaker 4: it's like, there wasn't a moon. And then one day
- 24:19Speaker 4: it was like DLC, like God added a patch, you know,
- 24:22Speaker 4: with the new moon.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Like make sure it didn't just float up from under
- 24:26Speaker 2: the turtle.
- 24:28Speaker 1: The turtle laid an egg and it floated into the sky.
- 24:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:32Speaker 3: So another conspiracy that's going around about this is the
- 24:38Speaker 3: FEMA money. FEMA apparently just gives you $ 750 if you
- 24:43Speaker 3: live in an area where something like this happens. And again,
- 24:47Speaker 3: we can politicize anything.
- 24:48Speaker 1: I got the Milton stimulus package, dude. Yeah.
- 24:51Speaker 3: So people are turning this into a fucking politicized thing also.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Well, if I'm in the mob, I'm going like, how
- 24:59Speaker 1: do I have a P.O. box there last week?
- 25:02Speaker 2: They do all this shit in the worst way.
- 25:03Speaker 5: Like I remember when I like right before I moved,
- 25:05Speaker 5: there was a real bad hurricane right around October because.
- 25:10Speaker 2: That happens all the time. And they set up like
- 25:14Speaker 2: a place to give out FEMA money. We happen to
- 25:16Speaker 2: be shooting a film.
- 25:17Speaker 5: It was like a half still functioning tuberculosis hospital and
- 25:21Speaker 5: half a shut down state mental hospital facility.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:25Speaker 5: That was abandoned and spooky as shit. And they had
- 25:28Speaker 5: FEMA in the parking lot of this flooded, shitty, hot
- 25:32Speaker 5: area of people waiting outside in the humid sun for
- 25:34Speaker 5: three hours to get a check from like a tent
- 25:38Speaker 5: that they put up in the parking lot. So it's very,
- 25:41Speaker 5: it's always been a shitty operation.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Sounds legit. I don't see the problem.
- 25:46Speaker 3: One of the rumors going around about this or one
- 25:49Speaker 3: of the conspiracies is that this FEMA money is just
- 25:52Speaker 3: a loan. It's not. You have to pay it back.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Well, with taxes, you will, bitch.
- 25:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess. But yeah, the idea that think of
- 26:02Speaker 3: the logistics of just giving that money.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Didn't they do that with one of the hurricanes?
- 26:06Speaker 4: Hasn't this happened where they like give disaster grants and
- 26:10Speaker 4: then they're like, actually.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Well, I got a COVID grant and then I was like, oh, fuck,
- 26:13Speaker 2: I have to pay that back. God damn it.
- 26:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:16Speaker 3: COVID's a good example where they did do that. But
- 26:19Speaker 3: in this case, no, they just, you get, not only
- 26:23Speaker 3: do you get the $ 750, one of the other, I guess,
- 26:27Speaker 3: not conspiracies, but complaints about this is people are saying, oh,
- 26:31Speaker 3: you only get $ 750.
- 26:34Speaker 5: Yeah, that's not especially when there's no infrastructure, no job
- 26:37Speaker 5: to go back to, no power.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:41Speaker 3: But this is the first payment. And then you apply
- 26:44Speaker 3: to get further relief.
- 26:46Speaker 4: It's like a month of hyperinflated bottled water prices.
- 26:50Speaker 5: And it's going to, you know, it's very easy to
- 26:52Speaker 5: fill out five very confusing, nonsensical forms and not lose
- 26:57Speaker 5: them and figure out where to get them back to.
- 26:59Speaker 2: And there's probably no Internet or power in a lot
- 27:01Speaker 2: of those places.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Like everything with the government, there's.
- 27:05Speaker 4: Just jump through this series of tinier and tinier hoops
- 27:10Speaker 4: above the bed of spikes.
- 27:11Speaker 5: Yeah, I just lost my food stamps because it was
- 27:13Speaker 5: two months of going back and forth and filing appeal
- 27:15Speaker 5: because I couldn't call them.
- 27:17Speaker 4: And I was I don't have health insurance because it's
- 27:19Speaker 4: the Medicare and fucking what all the Obamacare websites are
- 27:23Speaker 4: impossible to use. I could not with all of my
- 27:25Speaker 4: fucking energy and figure it out.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:27Speaker 5: I wonder if one of the if that's their plan,
- 27:29Speaker 5: like by the end of it, I'm like, fuck it,
- 27:30Speaker 5: I'll just make more money.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 27:34Speaker 3: I'll figure it out.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Okay. I'm getting a real estate license.
- 27:36Speaker 2: I'm going on a diet. I don't need, I don't
- 27:38Speaker 2: need money. I don't need food.
- 27:39Speaker 4: I'm going to see if my community college credits are
- 27:42Speaker 4: still active.
- 27:43Speaker 1: This is untenable.
- 27:44Speaker 5: I did see there's a documentary thing on, cause I
- 27:47Speaker 5: love a documentary is out of notes on Netflix that
- 27:51Speaker 5: Bill Gates did, which some of it's weird, but they
- 27:53Speaker 5: had him try and fill out government forms for assistance.
- 27:56Speaker 2: And he's like, Oh, this sucks. Like this is hard.
- 28:00Speaker 2: And I'm like, yeah, Wow, this is a lot of
- 28:02Speaker 2: bullshit they make you do.
- 28:03Speaker 1: What kind of Jimmy Fallon segment is this?
- 28:05Speaker 4: We're going to have Bill Gates apply for food stamps.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Do you qualify for general relief, Bill?
- 28:13Speaker 3: Bill Gates probably can't buy his own groceries. That guy's
- 28:16Speaker 3: been a billionaire for a thousand years.
- 28:19Speaker 2: I'm sure he has robots.
- 28:20Speaker 1: I have to tap the card? Who came up with that? Yes.
- 28:24Speaker 1: You did, Bill. Yeah, I was I was like.
- 28:26Speaker 4: So skeptical about Netflix, like hagiography, like the six episode
- 28:30Speaker 4: thing where the whole point of it was like, what?
- 28:31Speaker 1: I'm just Bill Gates. And I think a lot of
- 28:33Speaker 1: really cool, reasonable stuff to make a TV show about it.
- 28:36Speaker 5: And I'm like, oh, yeah, it's so clearly like that
- 28:38Speaker 5: Nickelback documentary, like self-produced as a good PR move.
- 28:43Speaker 4: Or the Hillary Clinton like Hulu thing where it's like
- 28:45Speaker 4: you're watching and you're like, did you win?
- 28:47Speaker 3: What am I watching? To his credit, though, Bill Gates
- 28:51Speaker 3: pulled one of my favorite rich guy stunts of all time.
- 28:54Speaker 3: Like I was watching an episode of Shark Tank recently
- 28:57Speaker 3: and Richard Branson drew a glass of water on Mark Cuban.
- 29:02Speaker 3: And I was like, that's fucking rich right there.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:06Speaker 3: Like you got fucking money if you're pulling a stunt
- 29:09Speaker 3: like that. Bill Gates at a TED talk once opened
- 29:12Speaker 3: a jar of mosquitoes and just unleashed them on the
- 29:16Speaker 3: crowd because he was giving a talk about malaria and
- 29:20Speaker 3: was like, poor people got to deal with this. You should, too.
- 29:24Speaker 1: What do I feel like he had in his pantry already?
- 29:26Speaker 4: There's like a 16 row fucking rack of mosquito jars
- 29:30Speaker 4: that you can just.
- 29:31Speaker 1: This is.
- 29:32Speaker 2: Johnny Knoxville, and here's malaria time.
- 29:36Speaker 1: I know. That's not a fucking TED Talk move. That's
- 29:38Speaker 1: a Batman movie.
- 29:41Speaker 3: One of the other FEMA conspiracies going around about this,
- 29:46Speaker 3: which this one is just so, so funny, is the
- 29:50Speaker 3: idea that the government is exclusively giving FEMA money to
- 29:57Speaker 3: undocumented immigrants. Just any suggestion that the government is doing
- 30:03Speaker 3: anything to make the life of undocumented immigrants better is disgusting. insane.
- 30:09Speaker 3: The actual truth when it comes to FEMA payments is
- 30:13Speaker 3: the government is barred from giving these FEMA payments to
- 30:18Speaker 3: undocumented people. So even if you're in Florida, you're living there,
- 30:23Speaker 3: this hurricane hit you the same as everyone else. You're
- 30:26Speaker 3: probably going to help rebuild it. Probably been paying taxes
- 30:30Speaker 3: that are going to go toward rebuilding it. You That's
- 30:36Speaker 3: how our government works. So the idea that either side
- 30:40Speaker 3: is actually good to immigrants is fucking clown shoes. Biden
- 30:45Speaker 3: and Obama both deported more people than Trump. There is
- 30:49Speaker 3: no side of this government that is cool when it
- 30:52Speaker 3: comes to immigrants. There's one side that's promising democracy. mass
- 30:56Speaker 3: deportations but.
- 30:57Speaker 5: It's almost like it's all powerful people that have more
- 31:00Speaker 5: in common with each other than us and they benefit
- 31:02Speaker 5: from creating these false sides so we can fight about
- 31:05Speaker 5: shit that doesn't matter.
- 31:06Speaker 4: Every once in a while somebody comes along and says
- 31:08Speaker 4: well maybe at least we should stop kicking them so
- 31:11Speaker 4: much and some guy goes do.
- 31:12Speaker 1: You know how much it would cost to stop kicking them.
- 31:16Speaker 5: My grandfather kicked him and my father kicked him and
- 31:19Speaker 5: I'll be goddamned.
- 31:20Speaker 1: I got all these cool kicking supplies. We already built
- 31:24Speaker 1: a tank to take him back to Mexico in.
- 31:26Speaker 4: The Border Patrol, by the way, has all the shit
- 31:29Speaker 4: from underneath the Batman laboratory in the first fucking Christopher
- 31:34Speaker 4: Bale Batman movie, like the crawler and all this shit.
- 31:37Speaker 3: This is the thing Trump said at a rally recently.
- 31:40Speaker 3: He said the Biden administration, quote, stole the FEMA money
- 31:45Speaker 3: just like they stole it from a bank so they
- 31:47Speaker 3: could give it to their illegal immigrants that they want
- 31:50Speaker 3: to have vote for them this season. And, quote, fucking what?
- 31:54Speaker 2: He's the one that defunded FEMA. That's the thing. He's
- 31:57Speaker 2: trying to he's literally like they took it. It wasn't
- 31:59Speaker 2: they took it.
- 32:00Speaker 3: And there's such a disconnect here. You see this with
- 32:05Speaker 3: every argument that, oh, they're letting illegal immigrants register to vote.
- 32:09Speaker 3: It's always in states that are so heavily Republican. There's
- 32:14Speaker 3: no fucking way. they would let illegal immigrants vote. Case
- 32:17Speaker 3: in point, you think Ron DeSantis' goddamn Florida is going
- 32:22Speaker 3: to let 1.2 million undocumented immigrants vote? Ron DeSantis' Florida
- 32:29Speaker 3: is going to let that happen?
- 32:30Speaker 1: No.
- 32:31Speaker 5: They just tried to shut down my friend's friend festival
- 32:34Speaker 5: that she runs because they thought it was pornographic because
- 32:37Speaker 5: it had adult.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Plays and they wanted to not spend on the arts.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Yeah, Florida's not going to enable this shit.
- 32:44Speaker 4: It's like a third-generation Puerto Rican guy with a passport
- 32:48Speaker 4: that was kind of wet showed up to be like,
- 32:50Speaker 4: it's fake.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Kill him.
- 32:52Speaker 4: How would this even go down? You would see it
- 32:55Speaker 4: on the news. I don't know.
- 32:58Speaker 5: Even if they did vote, it's not going to, the
- 33:00Speaker 5: first election I ever voted in was the hanging chance.
- 33:03Speaker 2: That was my county.
- 33:05Speaker 1: That's an epic, oh shit, really? That's crazy.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Yeah, that was my first election experience. It was like,
- 33:11Speaker 2: oh wow, that's like probably.
- 33:13Speaker 5: And the ironic thing is that county, the one at
- 33:15Speaker 5: West Palm Beach, it's so full of retirement communities.
- 33:18Speaker 4: That's like saying I hit the T9 pad for Kelly
- 33:20Speaker 4: Clarkson on American Idol.
- 33:21Speaker 1: You know, you were there.
- 33:22Speaker 5: Again, I'm very old, but young. You had to poke through.
- 33:25Speaker 5: So you had to poke through the paper. That's how
- 33:27Speaker 5: you voted. And it's just full of elderly people that
- 33:31Speaker 5: I guess couldn't push hard enough.
- 33:34Speaker 1: They just dented the paper, really?
- 33:35Speaker 5: Yeah, they like couldn't break the paper. Was the most
- 33:38Speaker 5: reasonable explanation.
- 33:40Speaker 3: One of the things that should tell you how insane
- 33:43Speaker 3: the idea that FEMA money is going to undocumented immigrants
- 33:48Speaker 3: in Florida, Ron DeSantis' own office came out And issued
- 33:53Speaker 3: a statement and was like, no, that's not happening. That's
- 33:56Speaker 3: not like when Ron DeSantis.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Pants down the fear mongering.
- 34:01Speaker 3: Yeah, that's, you know, this shit's not happening.
- 34:04Speaker 2: I mean, how would they even find them? They don't
- 34:06Speaker 2: have any documents. How do they know where they are?
- 34:09Speaker 2: Are they just going to a Home Depot parking lot?
- 34:11Speaker 2: They're like, hey, guys.
- 34:13Speaker 1: At the end of the day, you got to take
- 34:14Speaker 1: his word for it. There's no document to consult.
- 34:18Speaker 3: So this is a quote from former FEMA director Craig Fugatti.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Oh, kick-ass meme.
- 34:24Speaker 1: This is not a Fugati shirt.
- 34:25Speaker 3: Quote, how many times do you have to say it's
- 34:28Speaker 3: not true? FEMA can only spend money that has been
- 34:31Speaker 3: authorized and appropriated by Congress. You can't spend money on
- 34:36Speaker 3: anything that Congress hasn't appropriated money for, and you cannot
- 34:41Speaker 3: spend it in any way other than what you're authorized
- 34:44Speaker 3: to spend it. End quote. And reminder, the Congress is
- 34:48Speaker 3: Republican-controlled right now, so they know. what FEMA money they've
- 34:54Speaker 3: signed off on and where it's going. And I get
- 34:57Speaker 3: the argument that, well, this guy, he's part of FEMA.
- 35:00Speaker 3: He's not going to tell you the truth. FEMA is
- 35:02Speaker 3: not the fucking CIA. They're not an intelligence agency.
- 35:05Speaker 5: No, it's not even all the money we're spending on
- 35:09Speaker 5: the private health care of all the government workers and
- 35:12Speaker 5: the congresspeople that we don't get.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 35:16Speaker 3: And so, of course, this has turned into threats against meteorologists.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Of course, the obvious.
- 35:24Speaker 1: I got a bad forecast for you, buddy. We're expecting pain.
- 35:29Speaker 3: Someone called a TV station. We'll link to a bunch
- 35:32Speaker 3: of articles. One of the articles I read, someone called
- 35:34Speaker 3: a TV station and asked to speak to the person
- 35:37Speaker 3: in charge of stopping the hurricane.
- 35:41Speaker 2: Even if the.
- 35:41Speaker 5: Jews are controlling the weather, even if there's a government
- 35:43Speaker 5: thing that controls the weather, where do you get to
- 35:45Speaker 5: the point where you think the meteorologists are in on it?
- 35:48Speaker 5: You think the news reporters make the news stories that
- 35:51Speaker 5: they report?
- 35:53Speaker 2: I feel so bad for these meteorologists.
- 35:55Speaker 5: They literally do the softest, most nerdcore job.
- 35:58Speaker 1: It's literally it's like math journalism.
- 36:00Speaker 4: They're just reporting like a series of number values in
- 36:03Speaker 4: a way that's valuable and meaningful to your outfit that day.
- 36:06Speaker 5: You don't call the sports reporter and threaten to kill
- 36:09Speaker 5: them because the bill's lost.
- 36:10Speaker 4: That makes more sense to me. There's an unhinged part
- 36:13Speaker 4: of that culture. This is weather.
- 36:15Speaker 1: This is getting nuts about, I don't know, the freeway closures.
- 36:19Speaker 1: That makes more sense.
- 36:21Speaker 3: And yeah, FEMA's getting it really bad. FEMA is where
- 36:25Speaker 3: a lot of the Jews are behind this. is coming from.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Well, you know what FEMA stands for? Feinstein, Epstein.
- 36:34Speaker 2: Manischewitz.
- 36:36Speaker 3: And the threats against FEMA, they're all over the place.
- 36:40Speaker 3: One post said that FEMA employees would be shot if they, quote,
- 36:45Speaker 3: Continue blocking and seizing aid.
- 36:47Speaker 1: What?
- 36:47Speaker 3: And then another post called for militias to resist FEMA
- 36:51Speaker 3: if they show up. So do you want their help
- 36:53Speaker 3: or not? Are you mad that they're taking aid or
- 36:55Speaker 3: are you mad that they're bringing you aid? Sounds like everything.
- 36:59Speaker 4: Dressed up like a 1976 colonial minute man.
- 37:03Speaker 1: We're here to take on the fire department.
- 37:05Speaker 5: The thing that sucks is FEMA actually does deserve a
- 37:08Speaker 5: lot of criticism as someone that's seen them fumble hurricanes
- 37:11Speaker 5: since Katrina. You know, they do fuck shit up. They
- 37:16Speaker 5: are not good at what they do. But this is
- 37:18Speaker 5: not helping. And this is not criticism that's going to
- 37:20Speaker 5: lead to anything. You're like, oh, we don't like how
- 37:22Speaker 5: you handle it.
- 37:23Speaker 2: So we're going to destroy you. Now you'll never handle
- 37:25Speaker 2: it again.
- 37:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:27Speaker 2: What's the end goal?
- 37:28Speaker 3: One of the things that really sucks here, I know
- 37:30Speaker 3: it's tempting to be like, oh, well, this is just funny.
- 37:34Speaker 3: These redneck fucks are just not going to accept money
- 37:36Speaker 3: from FEMA and they're going to die of a hurricane
- 37:38Speaker 3: that shouldn't have killed them. But those people have families
- 37:42Speaker 3: who are impacted by these decisions, too. And I don't
- 37:46Speaker 3: want some rednecks fucking five-year-old dying because dad is too
- 37:51Speaker 3: much of a conspiracy theorist to get FEMA money. Like,
- 37:54Speaker 3: that's what makes shit like this sad, is It's going
- 37:57Speaker 3: to impact all the people around them. It's another example
- 38:01Speaker 3: of poor people acting against their own best interest.
- 38:06Speaker 5: Do you think FEMA started the rumor so that people
- 38:08Speaker 5: wouldn't ask them for too much help?
- 38:12Speaker 1: Maybe.
- 38:13Speaker 4: If we put it out there that the Jews are
- 38:15Speaker 4: behind this, guess who's not getting a lot of service?
- 38:18Speaker 1: You know what?
- 38:18Speaker 2: Guys, I don't know if we can handle helping all
- 38:21Speaker 2: these people. So let's make half of them not.
- 38:23Speaker 3: Want our help.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:25Speaker 3: Yeah, and there was one last rumor about FEMA that
- 38:27Speaker 3: went around during Hurricane Helene that if they showed up,
- 38:31Speaker 3: they were just there to get the lithium deposits that
- 38:33Speaker 3: are buried under your house. So don't.
- 38:36Speaker 5: Oh, shit.
- 38:36Speaker 1: We got lithium?
- 38:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm going to go dig under my house and
- 38:39Speaker 3: find that fucking lithium and sell it to China. So
- 38:42Speaker 3: I think that's our episode. This is a dumb conspiracy.
- 38:45Speaker 3: So this is going to be a shorter episode than usual. Samantha, Connor.
- 38:50Speaker 3: Thank you both for doing the pod. I appreciate it.
- 38:53Speaker 3: This seems like a wonderful time to plug shit with
- 38:57Speaker 3: so many people in Florida struggling so much right now.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Listen to my solo podcast in broad daylight. It's everywhere
- 39:03Speaker 3: podcasts are at. Samantha, what do you got to plug?
- 39:06Speaker 5: Well, I'm at Sam's Sweets, like candy sweets. not hotels,
- 39:11Speaker 5: on Instagram and TikTok and whatever, Sam's Sweets.
- 39:14Speaker 2: I'm at OnlySams, with two E's, O-N-L-E-E, Sam's, on OnlyFans.
- 39:22Speaker 5: And I love, I always get one or two followers
- 39:24Speaker 5: from your podcast and they're so sweet.
- 39:26Speaker 2: I thought you were funny and now I get to
- 39:27Speaker 2: see your tits. I'm like, awesome. That works out for
- 39:29Speaker 2: all of us.
- 39:31Speaker 1: So, yeah.
- 39:32Speaker 3: Connor, what do you got to plug?
- 39:33Speaker 4: I'll be at the Orlando Improv October 14th and 15th
- 39:37Speaker 4: handing out paper towels and canned goods, portable stoves.
- 39:41Speaker 1: We have some, what are those things called, Adam? Thermal blankets? Sure. Shiny.
- 39:47Speaker 3: Shiny blankets that.
- 39:48Speaker 4: Are really warm for like emergencies. If you want one
- 39:51Speaker 4: of those, I got you. And if you do have electricity,
- 39:54Speaker 4: you should listen to the Mean Boys podcast. We're back
- 39:56Speaker 4: with new episodes. It's a scripted comedy podcast. None of
- 39:58Speaker 4: this just sitting around shooting the breeze crap. We show
- 40:01Speaker 4: up with material and jokes and sketches and games and
- 40:04Speaker 4: a whole cavalcade of entertainment, all for your convenient enjoyment.
- 40:08Speaker 4: Some of your favorite guests you might know from this program.
- 40:10Speaker 4: Most of our listeners are people that remember the Randall
- 40:13Speaker 4: Maynard fight from back in the day anyway. So a
- 40:16Speaker 4: sort of Jefferson spinoff of the whole unpopular opinion oeuvre.
- 40:20Speaker 3: And I think that's it. Let's get the fuck out
- 40:23Speaker 3: of here. Samantha, say goodbye.
- 40:25Speaker 1: Bye-bye.
- 40:26Speaker 3: Connor, say goodbye.
- 40:29Speaker 2: Oh shit, he's speaking hurricane.
- 40:31Speaker 3: Goodbye, everybody. We love you.
