- 0:25Speaker 1: promised that in the life to come, death and pain
- 0:30Speaker 1: will be no more. What a beautiful promise that gives
- 0:36Speaker 1: us hope for eternity. In this life, we may feel
- 0:41Speaker 1: the weight of sorrows and troubles. But in your presence
- 0:48Speaker 1: there is fullness of joy. Your heart longs to bring
- 0:53Speaker 1: us peace and rest and to restore our souls. May

- 1:43Speaker 2: Welcome to your meditative prayer on healing grief. To get
- 1:46Speaker 2: the most out of your spiritual journey, use Pray.com every
- 1:49Speaker 2: day and make prayer a priority in your life. My friends,
- 1:54Speaker 2: our goal for today's meditative prayer is healing grief. Let's
- 1:59Speaker 2: be honest. Death will always be difficult to deal with.
- 2:05Speaker 2: So today, I want you to take a minute to
- 2:08Speaker 2: gather your thoughts and to quiet your spirits. Accommodate yourself
- 2:15Speaker 2: into a comfortable state. Close your eyes and breathe easy.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Now turn your heart and fix your attention to what
- 2:29Speaker 2: God has for you right now. Today we'll be meditating
- 2:33Speaker 2: again on Revelation 21 verse 4 from the King James Version.
- 2:39Speaker 2: It reads, And God shall wipe away all tears from
- 2:42Speaker 2: their eyes. And there shall be no more death, neither
- 2:45Speaker 2: sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain,
- 2:50Speaker 2: for the former things are passed away. Let us take
- 2:55Speaker 2: this time now to adore God for the promise of eternity. Jesus,
- 3:01Speaker 2: I praise you, for you are the eternal loving God.
- 3:07Speaker 2: I worship you, for with your blood you brought an
- 3:12Speaker 2: end to all suffering I exalt you, Jesus, for by
- 3:17Speaker 2: your love and the power of your sacrifice, you redeem
- 3:21Speaker 2: and restore all. I praise you, Jesus, for you alone
- 3:27Speaker 2: conquered sin and you paid its price. Right now I
- 3:33Speaker 2: sing hallelujah for the Lamb of God has overcome. My
- 3:39Speaker 2: heart extols the Lord and blesses his name forever. Grief
- 3:46Speaker 2: is not all powerful. It does have a final end.
- 3:51Speaker 2: But the sting of death pains us because this side
- 3:54Speaker 2: of eternity, it seems pretty final. But one day, the
- 4:01Speaker 2: grave will lose its power and death will be defeated
- 4:05Speaker 2: once and for all. Jesus paid for this promise, my friends,
- 4:10Speaker 2: with his blood. So although loss hurts so deeply, Because
- 4:16Speaker 2: we're not created for separation, you were created for more.
- 4:22Speaker 2: You're an eternal being, made and molded in the image
- 4:27Speaker 2: and the likeness of God. And God has a good
- 4:30Speaker 2: plan for your future. A future filled with love, with joy,
- 4:36Speaker 2: and with eternal fellowship forever in His presence. All you
- 4:41Speaker 2: have to do is open your heart to Him. confess
- 4:47Speaker 2: your loss and your sorrow to Christ right now, my friends,
- 4:51Speaker 2: because he's waiting for you. Let us now thank God
- 4:57Speaker 2: that one day grief will be no more. Thank him
- 5:03Speaker 2: for his promise of redemption and restoration. Thank Jesus that
- 5:09Speaker 2: he conquered sin and he conquered the grave. Give thanks
- 5:15Speaker 2: for the promise of an eternal life free of separation
- 5:18Speaker 2: and suffering. Thank Him for the cross. Thank God for
- 5:26Speaker 2: His love and His care that has sustained you and
- 5:29Speaker 2: will continue to do so for all time. My friends,
- 5:34Speaker 2: God is present and He's listening to you. He loves
- 5:40Speaker 2: you and He sees your pain. God's closer than you think.
- 5:46Speaker 2: And right now, this is your moment to reach out
- 5:50Speaker 2: to him. Ask God to comfort your weary soul and
- 5:54Speaker 2: your heavy heart. Ask him for his peace that surpasses
- 5:59Speaker 2: all understanding. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you keep
- 6:05Speaker 2: your eyes on Jesus. And ask him to fill your
- 6:10Speaker 2: heart with the promise and assurance of the future to come. Remember,
- 6:17Speaker 2: Jesus conquered the grave and through grace offers you eternity.
- 6:23Speaker 2: My friends, embrace the promise that grief has an expiration date.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Take heart and have courage. It may not feel like
- 6:33Speaker 2: it right now, but this pain too shall pass. So
- 6:39Speaker 2: hold fast to Jesus' vow of the final victory to come.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Find solace in the knowledge that you are not alone.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Jesus sees you. He loves you. And he will keep
- 6:53Speaker 2: his word. Let yourself experience God's restoration and be filled
- 7:00Speaker 2: with the comfort of the Lord. Thank you for completing
