  Speaker 1: God will take you places that you never ever thought

  Speaker 1: you would go. Oh you know what it Sometimes it

  Speaker 1: amazes me when I'm watching people talk about themselves and

  Speaker 1: their careers and where they're at in life and things,

  Speaker 1: and they and I hear people say, you know, always

  Speaker 1: dreamed of being here. You know, I can understand when

  Speaker 1: a person says that I've always dreamed that of something

  Speaker 1: like this would happen to me. But I want you

  Speaker 1: to think about that for a second. Did you really

  Speaker 1: see it just like that?

  Speaker 1: Did you really know that God was gonna bring you

  Speaker 1: through all He brought you through to get you to

  Speaker 1: that somehow He kept you through it all?

  Speaker 2: And that's how you got here? Did you think of

  Speaker 1: I mean, since you're so busy talking about yourself now,

  Speaker 1: have you forgotten all the times he was bringing you

  Speaker 1: through when you didn't see no way that you was

  Speaker 1: So when you sit there and you say, I dreamed

  Speaker 1: the moment, it ain't the moment. For me, it's the

  Speaker 1: memory of how I got there. It's the recollection of

  Speaker 1: all the things, all the nights, all the days in

  Speaker 1: that car, all the times by myself when I felt

  Speaker 1: like I wasn't gonna make it. But somehow I'm standing

  Speaker 1: somewhere and somebody passing out on the ward to me

  Speaker 1: or somebody calling my name.

  Speaker 2: That's that. Did you really think you was gonna make it? Then? So?

  Speaker 1: So, so, since you're talking about this is what I

  Speaker 1: always dreamed. Did you really think in those moments right

  Speaker 1: there that you would even be standing here today.

  Speaker 2: That's why I try to I try to get people.

  Speaker 1: To understand, you know, and and and and this is

  Speaker 1: kind of for young people today what I'm about to say.

  Speaker 1: But then guess what I sometimes I had to remind

  Speaker 1: myself of it, So I guess it's still kinder for everybody.

  Speaker 1: You know, because I work with a lot of young people,

  Speaker 1: and so many times, man, young people just don't understand

  Speaker 1: what all it takes.

  Speaker 1: If you're a full grown adult, if you're faulty, you

  Speaker 1: really understanding where I'm coming from, because you know, uh,

  Speaker 1: it's listen to me, young people or anybody that don't

  Speaker 1: understand this, that you got to do some things that
• 3:28
  Speaker 1: you don't want to do in order to do what

  Speaker 1: you want to do. You have to understand this principle

  Speaker 1: of success or else you are not going to become successful.

  Speaker 1: I got what you want to do. I got your

  Speaker 1: ultimate goal, is this, that, and the other. I got

  Speaker 1: all of that. But in the meantime, though, there are

  Speaker 1: some necessary steps that you have to take in order

  Speaker 1: to become successful. And you cannot skip these steps. You

  Speaker 1: can't jump over these steps just because you want to

  Speaker 1: be rich.

  Speaker 1: But if you want this, whatever you're talking about, whether

  Speaker 1: it's money or success or fame or climbing the corporate

  Speaker 1: letter or this is the position or you all, that's

  Speaker 1: fine and Dan, please hold on to your dreams. Dreams

  Speaker 1: come true. But in the meantime, let me remind you

  Speaker 1: of something that you gotta do some things you don't

  Speaker 1: want to do in order to do what you want

  Speaker 1: to do. Let's say you want to be rich and famous.

  Speaker 1: Let's just say that's it for you, and it's a

  Speaker 1: lot of other ways of being successful. Please don't think

  Speaker 1: that's the only one. But I'm just saying, let's just

  Speaker 1: say yours is rich and famous. And let's say some

  Speaker 1: miraculous way God made you rich and famous. Next Friday,

  Speaker 1: it's so many things. You got to know about something,

  Speaker 1: you ask God for something. Please know, God know the process.

  Speaker 1: I got the delayed entry into the field of choice

  Speaker 1: until I was twenty eight. But see, I didn't get

  Speaker 1: I want, and I'm senterm here here. I got exactly

  Speaker 1: what you want, but I got this process. I want

  Speaker 1: you to go through to get here too, because see,

  Speaker 1: I'm finna take you somewhere. You don't know nothing, but

  Speaker 1: one day you're gonna have a radio show with you

  Speaker 1: a little stupid behind. You don't know this yet. I'm

  Speaker 1: gonna bless you with a radio show. You don't even

  Speaker 1: know it. That's why I say every morning, Steve Harvey

  Speaker 1: got a radio show because see, I didn't see this

  Speaker 1: one coming. But see God had a plan for me.

  Speaker 1: It was in the blueprint of my life. So God said,

  Speaker 1: what I'm gonna do is, I'm gonna make your life

  Speaker 2: I'm gonna toss you up a little bit.

  Speaker 1: I'm gonna let you make some of these stupid decisions

  Speaker 1: you wanna make, and I'm gonna make you learn from them.

  Speaker 1: I'm gonna let you be homeless for a little while.

  Speaker 1: choice until you're twenty eight. I'm gonna have people talking

  Speaker 1: about if we had only seen him when he was younger.

  Speaker 1: name to your thirty eight I'm gonna make you go

  Speaker 1: through some things because one day I'm gonna put a

  Speaker 1: microphone in front of your mouth, and I want you

  Speaker 1: to honor me. I want you to talk about me.

  Speaker 1: I want you to tell people what I bought you through.

  Speaker 1: I want you to give people inspirational moments where they

  Speaker 1: can see that your life was jacked up for a

  Speaker 1: minute and I turned your life around for you.

  Speaker 2: That's God dealing with me. See.

  Speaker 1: So now I finally understand why I went through the

  Speaker 1: life I went through, so I can have something to say. See,

  Speaker 1: will happen. I'm telling you what I know can happen.

  Speaker 1: That God does make dreams come true, but sometime it

  Speaker 1: take a minute. Sometimes you're gonna have to do some
