- 6:51[SPEAKER_15]: The hotline with Jeff Graham right here, that's me!
- 6:54[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, here we are in the air on the... kind of a warm...
- 7:02[SPEAKER_15]: But forget your school budget from today.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_15]: I know I misspoke yesterday cognitive difficulties.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_15]: I have to say I'm sure you realize, uh, but, um, I was administered a cognition test this morning.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_15]: And I approved, I approved.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_15]: So I'm still fit to go on a year.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_15]: Um, you know, the school board is in water town budgets everywhere.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_15]: I think they're open to eight or nine to I think it's eight everywhere.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_15]: go on vote is something to do, you know, it's not going to make a difference, but and here in modern town, of course, the public overwhelmingly approves of the job, the superintendent's doing, spending 112.2 million by virtue of the fact only one person spoke at the public hearing, they still speaking at council meetings and stuff, but not school board meeting.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_15]: Hey, we got a call coming in, but after you're on the air,
- 8:02[SPEAKER_24]: age of uh... yet i'm not so happy with uh... former councilman clip only with his newest meme that he just put out all i haven't seen him so he made a meme of of the city council given me the word or uh... fighting against the out to be do all these years and then on top of it just to make me even more man
- 8:29[SPEAKER_24]: You know, put me in a rainbow colored shirt, well, it's satire, you're a public figure, okay, all right, but I mean, seriously, and then they're he's calling he wrote a whole post about it, so the whole thing that's going on June 1st at 6 p.m. at City Hall, apparently they're going to be protesting me.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_15]: Again, now when is when is this protest?
- 8:58[SPEAKER_15]: When is the protest?
- 9:00[SPEAKER_24]: June 1st, 6 p.m. at the front of City Hall, and I'm pretty sure at 7 p.m. that's going to go up into the council chambers.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_15]: Right.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_24]: And then take over the microphone.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_24]: I mean, they might be able to fill a bus that June 1st, if everybody got there three minutes and then there's a few hundred of them.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, are you still living in Michigan?
- 9:22[SPEAKER_24]: I am.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_15]: Okay, so.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_24]: Be there, June 1st, though.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_15]: All right.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_15]: Well, that's good.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_15]: So, uh, anyway, I'm looking at the meme right now.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_15]: Most, you know, I hate to say it, and I know you, everybody likes to think well of themselves.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_15]: I don't think most people really know who you are.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_15]: So, it's not really.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_24]: Well, they might not know me personally, which I would say, yes, that's correct.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_24]: But people know the flatter of guys.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_24]: They know Donnie Lee better than oh my name.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_24]: Yeah, and there's thousands of people that constantly were making fun of me mocking me they got whole pages made of me just like hey documentaries making fun of me.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_24]: So I have a lot of haters.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_15]: Well, that may be, but I you know as far as this, um,
- 10:18[SPEAKER_24]: whatever it is demonstration on the first i don't think it'll attract many people and that is it well i mean do you understand the last time they protested this there was uh... there was like four hundred of them down there well this was back in twenty twenty right now that is over with i think there's going to be several hundred people there
- 10:49[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, well, there we go.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_15]: I mean, I'm not worried about it.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_15]: I we got issues about other issues back here, but I will keep tabs on it on June 1st you let us know what happens.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_15]: Okay.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_15]: All right.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_15]: Thanks, by now.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, I don't.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_15]: I haven't read too much about that, but these these new memes that Cliff only puts out are kind of interesting.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_15]: The people don't look exactly like who they're say they are, but he's got the mayor, the city manager, Councilman's shown, looks like Jeff Smith in the background and Mr. Garibrand.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_15]: So I don't know.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_15]: Well, what's going on, Chad?
- 11:34[SPEAKER_15]: Just watch Channel 7 News, or I just catch the lead story.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, Diana's back, and she's co-anchoring with Lexi.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_15]: And so, their lead story was the Muslim mosque shooting out in San Diego, whatever happened at the local news.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_15]: And there's plenty of it today, there was a ton of news came out of the council meeting last night, including the city council forming to rescind
- 12:06[SPEAKER_15]: And this might be part of the shorter leash we here is being put on the third floor, but recent a law about he had to put you stick with bags in a container.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_15]: I think it's probably a good idea to do it.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_15]: Let me tell you, I certainly wouldn't myself, but you don't have to.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_15]: Now you can just put it on the curb of the animals get it, but they're trying to get market shareback for the trash service.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_15]: I hope it's successful.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_15]: And then I want to count some in Geribrand last night, outlined a whole bunch of suggestions he has for trying to jazz up the refuse operation.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_15]: That and then the council last night was claiming it's an award winning refuse department.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_15]: So based on that award that was received that nobody knew about hasn't even been reported on yet.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_15]: You know, maybe counsel needs to get more involved.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_15]: They can't be sit there totally well.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_15]: You can't do this.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_15]: You can't talk to this department and I get it is now.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_15]: That's that's crazy stuff.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_15]: So, I'm going to have to take the bull by the horns.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_15]: I don't think anybody who's been a lot of recriminations about that trash thing.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_15]: Think said by counsel members, not me.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_15]: There's not a lot of, there's no love lost for the administration over at public works, as far as the council, not me saying it, council members.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_15]: So, I don't know, and I think the, to me, the blowback on council around the trash service and, you know, I remember last winter I was going up Main Street over to Tim Horton's early in the morning before, you know, like, 630 or something, and snow all over the place, I saw
- 14:05[SPEAKER_15]: Refuse collectors out there, you know, in the traffic, you know, it's traffic and snow and everything else.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_15]: Not easy work.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_15]: It's not like a nice sunny, you know, day in June or something.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_15]: We just throw a couple bags in a truck.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_15]: So anyway, um, we got where he was on that, but, uh, yeah, the council's trying to be more assertive.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_15]: I guess, and get involved.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_15]: I don't think it.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_15]: probably didn't sit well on the third floor that they repealed that total ordinance, but they did at the urging of councilman's shown and we can get people back more people using the city service and you know it's not the job of city employees to do what they can to help the private dollars grab more market share that's not what it's all about so
- 15:00[SPEAKER_15]: We'll get the list of Mr. Garibrand's suggestions, talk about him tomorrow, and all of that.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_15]: So, there you go.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_15]: Meanwhile, the mayor was referring to the refuse department as our award winning department.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_15]: That's the same department.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_15]: Or five weeks ago, they were all talking about eliminated.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_15]: So, go figure.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_15]: Alrighty.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_15]: let's see what's going on.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_15]: Now somebody also said Texan people will probably be losing their jobs that night.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_15]: I don't see that happening.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_15]: They pass the tax cap overrides so they can raise taxes as much as they want.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_15]: I know that the funny thing was last week at that work session, Dr. Kim will say that at the end is, let's go to executive session to discuss some people, which is odd reporting.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_15]: Last night, he made the motion to go to executive session, which was very precise.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_15]: The employment history of a particular person or corporation and disciplinary record.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_15]: I've never heard that word disciplinary put in the motion for executive session.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_15]: So it's usually just the employment history of a particular person.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_15]: uh... or the background of a particular corporation corporations aren't really a way to say so i don't know what they discussed last night but uh... i heard nothing more i didn't wasn't there for us but uh... so something happened last night later let me know but i don't think they're going to go with i think they were considering
- 16:50[SPEAKER_15]: So they're given the word.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_15]: No, we're not going to do that.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_15]: You ain't doing that.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_15]: And they got away from it.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_15]: So 755, 1240, the phone number.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_15]: And now Dr. Kimball made a good point last night.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_15]: He said if you keep just trying to keep your tax rate down by dropping a few jobs every year, pretty soon you won't have any.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_15]: Some people would say that's a good thing.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_15]: It was Reagan said the nine
- 17:17[SPEAKER_15]: Most scary words, I'm from the government, and I'm here to help, you know.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_15]: I think mom-diamies come up with a different nine words, but we won't repeat the hair.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_15]: Um, what do we got going out here?
- 17:33[SPEAKER_15]: Um, somebody else had trashed services, outdated, they should have a transfer station drop-off on water street or wherever, you know,
- 17:46[SPEAKER_15]: right by the city limits out behind airbreak and well where that church is whatever it is there's a lot of places you could set up something and it be convenient but out of the way that's been suggested many times with you get a lot of blowback from staff on it we can't do that same thing with coal mingle to be said oh well no we got do it this way even though nobody else in america does so
- 18:12[SPEAKER_15]: hopefully the council will initiate and Mr. Garibrand will initiate a dialogue and then they got a stick to it and say this is the way it's going to be and don't get talked out of it.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_15]: There's a lot of times in there.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_15]: Okay, bureaucrats are no different than the rest of us.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_15]: You look for the easiest way out a lot of times and that's I think what goes on.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_15]: Good afternoon here on the air.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah, it's good to mention that remind all of us it's a local radio show in the lot of local topics going on in government support because the crash saying, I like to make just a simple opinion, I think they're doing a super job, all the workers, whether the recycle, the record trash or on the, we'll even lamps the stuff later, the different weeks, a different year of the week.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_22]: they do a super job.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_22]: I've even in the summer time I've gone after and give a couple cans of sort of teach the driver to pick up guy and what have you.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_22]: And I have even the one lady was she tosses the bags in the back and what have you.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_22]: I've even given her a box of candy in the Valentine's day.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_16]: So I think that's great.
- 19:20[UNKNOWN]: I have enough of high praise for the trash people to see.
- 19:24[UNKNOWN]: I think if anything, they deserve a pay raise and continue doing what they're doing, they need to
- 19:31[UNKNOWN]: Maybe hire some more people to cover the city more frequently, but I think it goes from good job.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_22]: But I want to, I want to just shift a topic just real quickly, I'll leave it open for other people to call because I'm sure they're going to.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_22]: On this $1.7 billion weaponization fund that President Trump has got out there to get
- 20:01[SPEAKER_22]: uh... i don't know what's more to say victimized uh... yeah but i i know that i get it in supporters the ones that the rush of rush of reciclaims uh... and the jay uh... the january six writers that really concerns me because he's already part of it well i know some people who were victims of that and they they should get money back well yeah they get a follow claim don't have to follow claim
- 20:25[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah, but he opened up the clean, but I don't think he'd buy for January six, get a client, not just hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit two, hit
- 20:54[SPEAKER_22]: and losing your election 20 pages can't let go of that.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_15]: I know it can.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_15]: I've been critical of that.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_15]: Get over it.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_15]: And, you know, that ship is sailed.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_15]: You got your second term.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_22]: And you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you
- 21:22[SPEAKER_22]: bless the people that the writers.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_22]: This is a serious matter and one issue is popped up on this.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_22]: The writers didn't possibly get in claims.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_22]: What do you think is behind that?
- 21:40[UNKNOWN]: I don't know.
- 21:42[UNKNOWN]: I've got an agent.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_22]: It's just just an opinion.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_22]: It just made.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_22]: But I've heard some things on the news too.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_22]: Some national news saying he's
- 21:49[SPEAKER_22]: trying to make sure that all of the 1600 ones that he gave a part into will be reimbursed for some money so he can have them on hand to take care of guarding and making sure that the 20, 26 midterms are safe and secure and send army out to different holy places.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_22]: Well, okay.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_15]: Whatever.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_22]: That concerns me very, very much.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_22]: I think it should concern everybody else.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_15]: All right.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_15]: And now you live in a city here, but if you lived in NY21, and you were a Republican, would you want Constantine or smallum?
- 22:26[SPEAKER_22]: I was not one constant, you know, under any terms, I would go to get anybody against him.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_22]: Okay.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_22]: you realize on the money and you realize on supporting a president trump and i think that's wrong and i've always just uh... annoys you yeah okay all right well thank you all right thanks any
- 22:51[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, I don't know, it's hard to, now in fairness, we've talked about Constantino's efforts to get out on the trail more lightly, but I was reading in the Platsburg Press Republican, that's a newspaper in the Platsburg, which is over on the eastern side of the district.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_15]: And it's too small and had a packed house, 150 people at the local American Legion for a breakfast or something of which he spoke.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_15]: Now I was free food, don't get me wrong, but still I don't think I just for free food would go see a congressional candidate.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_15]: But anyway, so he's, you know, he obviously hopes he's got maybe veterans on his side because he's every tired Marine.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_15]: And he's got the party poobies, the Kuhn, the Don Kuhn, Kuhnocracy types all across the district.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_15]: There's a group of them in every county, so I don't know.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_15]: Now in school board, get out and vote in a Carthage, certainly.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_15]: Now, the mean girl running in that race did not quit the race like Millie did down here, but they're trying to make sure she gets defeated, that wouldn't be fair.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_15]: We want her on the school board.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_15]: But after dinner on the air Hey, Mayor Graham.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_25]: What's up?
- 24:09[SPEAKER_25]: How you doing?
- 24:09[SPEAKER_15]: Hey, the gun nut.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_25]: I Have to call in Danny called in.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, we don't don't pick items surprised.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_25]: I'm surprised at Danny would want to talk about parts After you know the bookload of partners his Brain dead president gave us
- 24:29[SPEAKER_25]: who the he's son nine by a machine uh... i was surprised that he would bring up part of this book i guess that january six is important to him it's not really important to me but uh... you've been watching baseball not too much now i see the buffalo sabers lost last night i didn't see that i didn't know three to two we out over time and i've had two bad they had quite a run
- 24:59[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, that was good.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_25]: Now it's the next.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_25]: I'm not much on pro basketball.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_25]: I like college basketball.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_25]: But I've been watching the Yankees have been playing good, but you know, the Razer very consistent.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_15]: Well, there you go.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_15]: So what else is on your mind?
- 25:19[SPEAKER_25]: I think that much, buddy.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_15]: down in New York, there was an evidentiary hearing for Luigi Manchione, the man accused of killing Ryan Thompson, the insurance company executive, assassinating him basically.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_15]: And as you know, Mr. Manchione is quite popular among the ladies, and there's a whole group of fan girls they call him outside the courthouse, yelling F. Brian Thompson, he's the deceased party, father of three or whatever.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_15]: Now, is there something wrong in the country when Luigi Manjoni has fan girls?
- 26:08[SPEAKER_25]: There's something wrong in the Democratic women of the United States.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_25]: I mean, these are not just real people.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_25]: I mean, real people don't celebrate murderers.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_25]: But, you know, they're not.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_25]: Unfortunately, we got plenty of them.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_25]: I don't care what people do, but when you make a show of yourself, they show pictures of some of those ladies, and, you know, I don't understand it, but it is in liberal women, I mean, Glenn talks about it more than he should because he should get trouble, but, I mean, I think there's a problem there, and I don't really understand it.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_25]: with you know i don't understand you don't have any fan girls no i have it's been a while it's been a while since that happened yeah no i don't i don't understand the kind of people that is and i know many of it i i don't quite a few i mean and then their life is true it's it doesn't have anything to do
- 27:21[SPEAKER_15]: What about, and we saw that at Chipotle's down in DC at this week, these teens, and I guess they communicate over the internet, but they just send on a place and like, a little more than a flash mob, it's, you know, they're throwing chairs around in every house.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_15]: Where are their parents?
- 27:45[SPEAKER_25]: I don't know, I don't know where we're going, I'm not sure.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_25]: You know, it's easy to point fingers at all kinds of institutions, you know, people point it through all kinds of stuff, the parents, the education, you know, everything.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_15]: Now, not that we didn't do things in our day, but wow, it was pretty.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_25]: But you know, it was, I think the justice system has lost it, and it's not a graduated scale with them.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_25]: It's not a graduated, you know, and worsening of sanctions.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_25]: I mean, these people, you look at, I remember going through the rap sheets, and I mean, a hundred pages, a hundred pages, there was two and a half, you know, two to three arrests on each page.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_25]: And these people are still running around.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_25]: But so what do we do?
- 28:36[SPEAKER_25]: Do we put them in prison and leave them in there?
- 28:39[SPEAKER_25]: I don't know the answer to anything.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_25]: The more I've learned about it, the less I know.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_25]: I mean, I don't know what to do, but there's something wrong with our system is tied up with these people and that, you know, I guarantee you those kids that did that, it's not their first time they've been talking to police officers, you know?
- 29:00[SPEAKER_15]: Well, I know, it's difficult.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_15]: So, well, that's good.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_15]: What do you think you don't live in the city so you don't care about trash?
- 29:08[SPEAKER_25]: How do you get rid of you trash?
- 29:13[SPEAKER_25]: let's see what is it uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh
- 29:42[SPEAKER_15]: And is that was just a recent see decision those trucks see I'm the different the difference with these people as they all live wherever they live But I talked to real people every day in the city on the show and at the business and that most common comment I hear is I'm going to the dump this Saturday or something like that.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_15]: They all love to go to the dump and bring their stuff and we can't have a central drop off in the city for some reason because they keep fighting it
- 30:14[SPEAKER_15]: I mean, we've got land, we've got spots you could do it in.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_15]: I was thinking to get in a couple 30 yard dumpsters and putting them out in a parking lot and charge people to bucks a bag.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_25]: I don't know.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_25]: I always remember back, remember we had that guy that called in from Rodman and he was always talking about the land fill.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_15]: Mm-hmm.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_15]: That was, that was, that was, was that Lester from Lorraine?
- 30:39[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_25]: Uh, it was a Lorraine, a Lorraine guy.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_25]: Lester, yeah.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_25]: talk about how as soon as we open that up all the surrounding counties in areas shut down their plans remember the St. Lawrence St. Lawrence County is going to have a system but it's been politicized like everything else at this state.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_25]: Right but I don't really understand where we're going I mean we we keep doing we know what we're doing wrong I mean even now I've been
- 31:11[SPEAKER_15]: Governor Hockel announced today the uh... long island railroads strike has settled after three days that's the one that she blamed it on trump this trump get credit for settling it i probably not you know i don't know i remember when my friend called in and said that what goes on in New York City doesn't have anything to do with what's going on here
- 31:34[SPEAKER_25]: I won't name him, but he said it doesn't, it's that the New York City is 400 miles away has nothing to do with us.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_25]: Now we got, we got this last second $4 billion bail out of New York City.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, and of course you got my family in there and all that, yeah.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_25]: I mean, yeah, I mean, it does affect us, I don't know.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_15]: All right, well listen, I got a run, but I heard heard from you.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_15]: Now one thing I want to ask you, I don't know if you read my blog.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_03]: I do.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_15]: Somebody hates you, and I delete most of the comments, but they're constantly writing in things about, you know, you.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_25]: It's the same little guy, he's just excited.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_25]: Oh, okay.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_25]: Remember, we were just talking about these freaks that celebrate murderers, and there's a lot of freaks out there.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_25]: He just can't let it by the, you know.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_15]: So this is one guy, then.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, pretty much one guy, yeah, I think he's got a buddy to chime in, but he answers his own post.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_25]: And you know, the thing that gets me about this guy, and he does the same thing with you.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_25]: Um, the thing that gets me is he won't call the show and try to make a consistent or cool hero.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_15]: Most of these people who make these comments, they love doing it anonymously.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_15]: It's their, you know, it's their day and the sun, but they don't really, they'd never say it to your face.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_25]: say it in public or they'd never say it on a radio station because they can't do it.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_25]: You don't have a co-herit-bah.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_25]: Hmm.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_17]: Hmm.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_25]: Hmm.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_25]: And that guy, you know, he's operating on a middle school.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_25]: I taught middle school.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_25]: I don't want middle school folks who are like, okay.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_25]: They're good people, but, you know, you can't expect a lot of things from him.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_25]: And that guy's pretty limited.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_15]: Hmm.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_15]: Okay.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_15]: All right.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_15]: Listen.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_15]: I got a run, okay?
- 33:26[SPEAKER_25]: Okay.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_15]: Okay.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_15]: Hey, don't forget, before we do the break, I want to remind you, my moral day weekend coming up.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_15]: That's an annual holiday that celebrates those who've made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_15]: We are aware of that.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_15]: No?
- 33:42[SPEAKER_15]: Okay.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_15]: Well, Google that you can look it up.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_15]: But, um...
- 33:47[SPEAKER_15]: get a flag in front of your house go down the east harbor anywhere place and get them they're not that expensive put it up put a poll up if you want but just put one a bracket on your porch and put it up man and have it up for more all day and flag day and the 250th uh... semi-quincentennial day so
- 34:10[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know how to say it.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_15]: You know, people say, well, this is an army town.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_15]: It's not an army town.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_15]: There's no, we'll see a flags out in the streets.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_15]: Very few.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_15]: So we'll get the damn flags out and get them out now.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_15]: And, you know, I'm sick of the phony patriots out there.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_15]: I'm gonna be checking.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_15]: We're gonna be driving around.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, we should, we should check all of our elected officials of course, but others too.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, anybody who calls this show would up a flag.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_15]: All right.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_15]: Thank you.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_19]: And we'll take time out for messages.

- 36:43[SPEAKER_13]: It's intentional.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_13]: When your mail shows up consistently, clearly, thoughtfully, it builds trust when it speaks to the right people.

- 38:01[SPEAKER_19]: The news in talk authority, WATN, AM-1240.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_15]: Hey, I'm 1240, WATN.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_15]: Good afternoon.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_15]: You're one at all.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_15]: Don't forget school elections today.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_15]: You can vote.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_15]: Um, a couple locations here in the city, but, um,
- 38:21[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, let's see, somebody just text in a prediction of Lexi's top headline tomorrow, all school budget votes passed.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_15]: Yes, that will be her lead stories.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_15]: She could write it right now.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, that's the great thing about those.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_15]: There's no doubt about them.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, they end up, but some of us like to go through the motions of democracy.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know, maybe that's a good idea, maybe it isn't, but maybe it doesn't matter.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_15]: But somebody's got to do it.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_15]: So I think I'll try to get over there right after the show here.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_15]: That's all right with you.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_15]: Okay.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_15]: Got a call coming in.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_15]: We have to do in here on the air.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah, good afternoon.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_21]: How are you?
- 39:09[SPEAKER_15]: The doff.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_21]: You know, I hear you dance real light around Danny there, I don't blame that guest, but why wouldn't you set up a fund for the people that were taking advantage of by the government and lost everything?
- 39:28[SPEAKER_21]: Rudy Giuliani, and right on in a bunch of other ones.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_21]: Right.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_16]: Mm-hmm.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah, I don't care anybody else.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_21]: I said anybody that doesn't think that that that the Allusium was rigged Yeah, the stuff that's been coming out lately Impolving county and you know air is known and all over Well, I don't know I mean I
- 40:04[SPEAKER_15]: I see both sides.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_15]: There's a lot of money, but they spend a lot of money.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_21]: He's eaten by people if you sit there and say that, but I don't care anymore.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_21]: There's no way possible that Joe Biden got more votes than Barack Obama, or he got more votes in Donald Trump.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_21]: There's no way it could happen.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_21]: It's not mathematically possible.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_15]: Well, listen, I mean, I know how much lawyers can shake you down.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_15]: Trust me.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_21]: It's a racket.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_15]: and uh... but uh... having said that i can you know i guess you got a look at each case i think they're pointing aboard to do that uh... you know maybe there's people who have been victim of other types of political i'll be put in a prison cell and that even and not even get a phone call or a right to an attorney yeah
- 41:03[SPEAKER_21]: There were people held there for months and months and months.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_21]: There was no such thing as a speedy trial or a rainmen or anything like that.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_21]: It's, I mean, come on.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_21]: You know, I'm sorry, but that's the, I just don't agree with that.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_21]: I mean, uh, and then to be said.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_15]: Now, what about the, with the wrong government, you know, I, what about Jim Komi, he would claim he's a victim of political
- 41:31[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_15]: Test James?
- 41:33[SPEAKER_21]: He was the architect along with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama to make up this Russian story.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_21]: And the only one that was ever in bed with the Russians was Hillary Clinton, whether you're reading him deal.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_21]: But we don't talk about that because we're both, I don't know, because of the radio station I don't know why we don't talk about it, but we all know what the real deal was.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_21]: We all know how he was set up.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_21]: And just, you know, and when you've got the media behind you, and they just don't report it or talk about it.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_21]: Just like all the stuff that's come out in the lawsuits that Trump has won in the last year.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_21]: In the lawsuit, he'll win against the IRS, and then you have to keep out there.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_21]: He's sworn his own country.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_21]: Well, they went after him.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_21]: Right.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_21]: With all the power and might and money of the federal government, they went after him and tried to break him.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_16]: Mm-hmm.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_21]: And he's going to win that case, and you know he's going to win that case.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_21]: seven news you'll never hear it on ABC or any of those stations you won't hear anything about it yeah somebody just texted on the flag that is flying at mayor pierces home well it's good i fly it when i'm up there yeah yeah you got to change him to it they start getting a little tattard you got to change him and you take the old ones to the american region they got to drive back there where you can put the
- 42:57[SPEAKER_15]: I would take it out to Hewitt's welding.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_15]: He's got a burning barrel.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_21]: Oh, okay.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_15]: Now somebody said my grateful dead flag is flying.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_15]: Well, that's not the same.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_15]: That's like a grateful dead flag is like a pride flag.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_15]: I mean, it's a niche flag, niche flag.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_15]: I wouldn't put only at one flagpole at my house.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_21]: I wouldn't just have a grateful dead flag or any other kind of felt bad about not because I've never missed an election school board election But then I get thinking about and I say, you know, it makes no difference in the way you're right, you know, you're not voting for anything when you go for the The budget's going to pass because they get the state.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_21]: It's everything's mandated supposedly Yeah, I
- 43:52[SPEAKER_21]: We were one of the top countries in the world education wise until they opened up the education department, the federal Department of Education, and then we dropped like a rock.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_17]: Well, the stats.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_17]: I know.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_21]: Look up the stats.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_21]: I was Jimmy Carter's doing, right?
- 44:14[SPEAKER_15]: I guess so, yeah.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_15]: He started it.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_15]: So anyway, so anyway, let's see, well, the cities are going to override the tax cap.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_15]: You knew that.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_15]: Hey, who's going to be the town supervisor out in the town of Watertown with Mr. Bartlett resigning after all these years?
- 44:42[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_15]: It's odd leaving office.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_15]: not at the end of the term, but a lot of people think that the town board member, McClusky, the judge's wife is going to get it.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_15]: But what would have to, you'd have to have all three other board members vote for whoever they want to put in there, so I don't know, because most of those towns they don't really have competitive elections.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_15]: It's just, you're annoyed, or you're the only one who wants to, or that's
- 45:15[SPEAKER_21]: like out in some of these towns with highway superintendents who I mean if anybody has any experience with the other and and that kind of a thing she would so that would be the out of the it's good to have it in with the courts too I mean that's not a bad idea so well no no that but I mean it's just she's worked on a lot of campaigns that done a committee forever
- 45:39[SPEAKER_21]: You know, when she was in the city, whether or the dad there, when she was a kid, she probably went out and helped him with petitions or whatever, get something.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_17]: Mm-hmm.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_21]: Then around the horn as far as politics goes, so yeah, that's, that'd be a, that'd be a wise choice.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_21]: I wouldn't have any problem with that, but I don't get involved with as much as I used to.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_15]: You'd like to have Ralph Dickinson back.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_17]: Keith, I'll hold you up.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_15]: That was with the days.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_15]: Okay.
