- Sarahn Sankofa: Hello, beautiful people. Today is September the 21st. And today's calendar challenge is give yourself grace. Allow yourself to be human. You can hold yourself accountable. You can learn from your mistakes. You can be intentional about being better. You can be proactive about growth or change. You can even be a little constructively critical to yourself. As long as you are treating yourself with kindness along the way. Giving ourselves grace is something we need to do because in this life we're going to mess up. We're gonna mess up. The progress isn't always pretty. The results don't always come in the exact way that we think that they will, but grace creates room for us to learn. It creates room for us to feel free in our learning. To feel open in the expression of imperfection. Stop comparing yourself to people you see. Stop feeling like everyone else has it all figured out. It's an illusion. We are all figuring it out. We must treat ourselves kindly as we are figuring it out. And giving ourselves grace is practice because we're going to have to give others grace. But first, we must give it to ourselves. We must give ourselves that patience and that love so that we can create room for more love, for more understanding, and more compassion. And it all starts with us. Today is a new opportunity, a new day to be loving, to be patient, and to be joyful. You do not have to be perfect to be proud of yourself. Keep growing and keep going. Just enough is more than enough, Saran says.
