- 0:00Hello everyone, and welcome back to the Kenny Wallace Show
- 0:03brought to you by Jags. There it is, the leader in high
- 0:07performance aftermarket car parts.
- 0:09Remember to go to jags.com. It's Tuesday night, November
- 0:145th. Nope, I'm not giving you
- 0:16election results. It's NASCAR.
- 0:20It's the gift that just keeps giving.
- 0:23Wow, big update tonight. Oh, Herman, what are you doing?
- 0:28What are you doing, Herman? I'm patting myself on the back.
- 0:32NASCAR gave us a little bit of a warning yesterday on X NASCAR.
- 0:37They came out, their social media team said penalties are
- 0:41not done yet. Now, they didn't say exactly
- 0:44that, but they said we are reviewing more penalties to come
- 0:49and here it is. All right, we're going to break
- 0:51it down. Ross Chastain and Austin Dillon
- 0:57hold on. No penalties for the drivers, so
- 1:00to speak. But hold on, it's still pretty
- 1:03big and I'll tell you why. No penalties for Ross Chastain
- 1:07and Austin Dillon. However, however, the crew
- 1:12chiefs, the spotters, the competition directors, everybody
- 1:17involved that was giving the information to the drivers and
- 1:22they were telling the drivers what to do.
- 1:24They are suspended for Phoenix. Now, that's not all.
- 1:29Hold on. You're thinking that's a slap on
- 1:33the wrist. Nope.
- 1:35Teens and drivers fined $100,000 each.
- 1:40Here's the big one. This is the one that's going to
- 1:43hurt them. 50 points. 50 points. OK, everybody, you heard it
- 1:50right there. So let me tell you my take on
- 1:54this. NASCAR has to keep upping the
- 1:58game to try to make these teams to quit manipulating the
- 2:02finishes of the races. Little Birdie called me, told me
- 2:06some things. They said, Herman, you need to
- 2:08know this and get this out on your show.
- 2:11I said, OK, what is it? They said it is the automakers.
- 2:16So listen, this is what I'm told.
- 2:21La, La, La, La, the automakers are putting all the pressure on
- 2:26the teams. So if if Chevrolet put that type
- 2:31of pressure on Austin Dillon and Ross Chastain, well, then they
- 2:35need to pay this penalty. And if you really want to get
- 2:38down to it, 50 points. Let's let's let's look, let's
- 2:44look and see where the points are right now.
- 2:46So it says 50 points that that's going to be car owner and driver
- 2:52points. What that means is I don't know
- 2:55where. I don't know where Ross Chastain
- 2:57is and I don't know where Austin Dillon is, but let's take 50
- 3:01points away from them. That could be a lot of money.
- 3:05But I would be going back to Chevrolet and whoever's in
- 3:07charge at Chevrolet, I would say, listen, you are the ones
- 3:12putting the pressure on US, Team Chevrolet.
- 3:16So I don't know if Richard Chiller.
- 3:17So I don't know if Team Track House is going to go to the
- 3:20executives at Chevrolet and say, we love you, we wouldn't be here
- 3:24without you, but would you please pay this bill?
- 3:27So listen right here on the Kenny Wallace Show.
- 3:32I've always said it's not important for me to be right.
- 3:36But they listen to me and I know what the hell I'm talking about.
- 3:39This all started at Daytona with Parker Ratzliff.
- 3:43Yes, Siri. And it came out just days later
- 3:47that Chevrolet was really mad at Parker for not going with the
- 3:52driver they wanted him to go with so they could try to win
- 3:55that race. And rightly so.
- 3:56Parker said, Hey, I don't race very much.
- 4:00I was trying to win the damn race.
- 4:02So in ending, we're not going to stroke this out to 8 minutes,
- 4:08OK? We're just going to keep it a
- 4:10little bit short in ending. Here's my take on the whole
- 4:15situation. I told you the penalties,
- 4:18Chevrolet has put so much pressure on these teams and
- 4:25drivers to follow orders because it's all about winning the
- 4:28championship, all about being the make of the year.
- 4:31So Chevrolet executives, they got to pay the bill and they
- 4:36also got to go. How much money did you lose?
- 4:39Because did the 50 points drop you down 1234 spots?
- 4:44So respond right here. Your job tonight for the
- 4:48Herminator because I can't do it all.
- 4:51Help me out. You're part of the show.
- 4:53I need you to get on the points system right now and tell me.
- 4:58We just took 50 points away from Ross Chastain.
- 5:01Where does that drop him to? That's across the board.
- 5:05Carter Points, driver points. Where does that drop Ross
- 5:08Chastain to now? Go to Austin Dillon.
- 5:12Where's where's Austin Dillon? Take 50 points away from him.
- 5:16Where's that drop him to now? How much money did they lose
- 5:21dropping 50 points? I need that total.
- 5:25OK, And then the hundred 100,000.
- 5:28Fine, you're sitting here going, oh, that's not a very big fine.
- 5:31Hold on, let's add it all up. How much money did they lose in
- 5:35the points and, and count the $100,000.
- 5:40All right, everybody, I believe I broke it down.
- 5:45I said this would be coming. My partner in crime, Dale
- 5:49Junior, on the Dale Junior download.
- 5:52He knew it was coming. Hold on.
- 5:57We could get sorry, we could get to 8 minutes because I'm here.
- 6:01I can. I can hear you now.
- 6:03You're all wanting to know why Bubba Wallace and Toyota was not
- 6:07penalized. Well, it's very clear there.
- 6:10There must have not been enough evidence to change the outcome.
- 6:15So listen, it's Tuesday night and I'm sure they wanted to get
- 6:19this out of the way. NASCAR wanted to get it out of
- 6:21the way. So once again, you're wanting to
- 6:24know why Bubba Wallace and Team Toyota did not receive any
- 6:28penalties. And we said this, we've been
- 6:31consistent. We're not forking tongue.
- 6:33We're not speaking out of both sides of the mouth.
- 6:35We are consistent. I guess NASCAR did not have
- 6:41enough information. Now, I saw some people out there
- 6:43on social media saying, well, Bubba said this or somebody said
- 6:47that. I don't know about that, but I
- 6:50believe in this ruling and I believe that NASCAR made the
- 6:53right decision. You listen to what Martin, kid
- 6:56Martin said, Mark Martin said the integrity was destroyed by
- 7:03what? Listen, Austin Dillon, Austin's
- 7:06watching. Hi, Austin Ross, I see y'all out
- 7:09there, they tell me they watch. Love you guys and the little
- 7:14birdie that told me that It's the automakers.
- 7:16I hear you, Hermanator hears you.
- 7:19Race fans, if anything I say here, I want you to take away is
- 7:23this. It's not the driver's fault in
- 7:26ending. It is not Ross Chastain's fault.
- 7:29It is not Austin Dillon's fault. It is Chevrolet.
- 7:34Now, listen, I love Chevrolet. It's it's it's a great automaker
- 7:40and I love her. Oh, Herman loves everybody.
- 7:42Herman loves everybody. But I know what I'm talking
- 7:46about. They've all called me.
- 7:48My phone, my my phone's been ringing.
- 7:51They said Herman, it's the automakers.
- 7:53And it started back with Parker Rutz laugh at Daytona.
- 7:58So all the pressure on these teams to follow team orders
- 8:02means auto make owners, auto make owners.
- 8:06All right, respond right here. And the points up get back to
- 8:09me. And whose fault is it if you're
- 8:13receiving a salary from Chevrolet and they tell you to
- 8:16do this? Do you do it and do they have
- 8:18you covered? Number one, get back to me about
- 8:21with the points, how much money difference?
- 8:23And the other thing, is it the driver's fault or is it the
- 8:27automaker's fault? We've seen the big articles out
- 8:29there. All right, everybody, it's
- 8:33Tuesday. I've been, I had to make two or
- 8:35three videos yesterday. Hopefully we all get a little
- 8:38break and this is over. Let's head to Phoenix.
- 8:41Everybody respond right here. All right, I'm exhausted.
