- 1:09Speaker 2: him out All Star toy if Betrouge dot Com. And
- 1:11Speaker 2: let's get to a little big deal.
- 1:13Speaker 4: No big deal, big deal, no big deal, big deal,
- 1:18Speaker 4: no big deal, big deal, no big deal, no.
- 1:22Speaker 5: Big deal, a big deal all right, big dealer, no
- 1:29Speaker 5: big deal. Show.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Hey Otani, Homer's in this fifth straight game, tying the.
- 1:34Speaker 5: LA Dodgers record.
- 1:36Speaker 2: The Dodger's been a franchise for a pretty long time
- 1:39Speaker 2: in Brooklyn and in LA. He has now tied it
- 1:42Speaker 2: because he's homered in five straight games.
- 1:44Speaker 5: He is truly a unicorn show.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Hey Otani, five straight games with the homer, big dealer,
- 1:51Speaker 2: no big deal.
- 1:51Speaker 6: A big deal, hard to do. Everything that he does
- 1:54Speaker 6: is a big deal, whether it's hitting home runs, birling
- 1:57Speaker 6: gas or his interpreter.
- 2:02Speaker 7: All big deal.
- 2:02Speaker 8: I still have no idea how that old situation baffles me.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Yeah, big deal. It's hard to do just in general.
- 2:13Speaker 3: But sho hee o.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Tani is a generational player, so I agree with Matt
- 2:19Speaker 4: as well. Everything that he does is pretty much a
- 2:21Speaker 4: big deal.
- 2:22Speaker 2: I mean, I feel like every four days we're coming
- 2:26Speaker 2: in here and we could do a big deal, no
- 2:28Speaker 2: big deal and something show Hay's done.
- 2:30Speaker 6: Yeah did you see that when he was I guess
- 2:33Speaker 6: he's pitching again, but like when he was off from pitch,
- 2:36Speaker 6: I guess a little injury trying to get something right.
- 2:38Speaker 6: When he was trying to get back into it and
- 2:40Speaker 6: throwing it.
- 2:40Speaker 7: Like before the.
- 2:41Speaker 6: Games, players on his team and other teams are watching
- 2:45Speaker 6: it and just like laughing at the movement that he
- 2:47Speaker 6: had on the ball, Like yeah, throwing.
- 2:48Speaker 2: So I mean because if he wanted to, like if
- 2:52Speaker 2: you wanted to say, you know what, I'm just going
- 2:54Speaker 2: to be a pitcher, and maybe he does maybe later
- 2:55Speaker 2: in his career. I don't know, doubt it because he's
- 2:58Speaker 2: hitting five home runs in five games. But the crazy
- 3:01Speaker 2: part is he could be like a top five pitcher
- 3:05Speaker 2: in all of baseball if he wanted.
- 3:06Speaker 5: To just solely focus on that. That's the wild part
- 3:09Speaker 5: about it.
- 3:09Speaker 6: Is he going to be the greatest baseball player to
- 3:12Speaker 6: ever lace.
- 3:13Speaker 7: Up the clip.
- 3:14Speaker 4: I think that's kind of hard to if he stays healthy,
- 3:19Speaker 4: Like there's some.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Good baseball players out there. Yeah, Like I get he
- 3:22Speaker 3: does it.
- 3:23Speaker 4: He does pitching and batting, but there's certainly an argument
- 3:28Speaker 4: that could be made for it. Yeah, but I think
- 3:31Speaker 4: it's hard to say, because I think it's hard to
- 3:33Speaker 4: say who the best baseball player out besides Shoheo Tani is.
- 3:37Speaker 2: And also, like you if you had that argument with him,
- 3:39Speaker 2: you got to take him what he did in Japan.
- 3:41Speaker 5: He's thirty one years old.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Yeah, he's done a lot here states that obviously, but
- 3:45Speaker 2: he is thirty one, so he didn't, like you know it,
- 3:48Speaker 2: start his.
- 3:48Speaker 5: MLB career at twenty two here in America.
- 3:51Speaker 2: So you have to take like kind of like Eachi
- 3:53Speaker 2: Ro as well when I talk Eachiro and he's one
- 3:55Speaker 2: of the best. Yeah, if you take what he did
- 3:57Speaker 2: there as well, because this is the hell of the
- 3:58Speaker 2: league that they play in Japan.
- 4:01Speaker 6: It is.
- 4:04Speaker 7: All right, big deal, no big deal in Call of Duty?
- 4:10Speaker 3: Okay.
- 4:11Speaker 5: In the games, yes.
- 4:12Speaker 6: Players have collectively spent over twenty five billion hours of playtime,
- 4:19Speaker 6: surpassing the entire timeline of human history.
- 4:25Speaker 4: So are we talking about since that wait, that is
- 4:29Speaker 4: a big deal, but we're talking to million came.
- 4:32Speaker 6: Out a recordable time, like probably online. Yeah, that's two
- 4:37Speaker 6: point eight million years.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Yeah, that's crazy.
- 4:42Speaker 6: Gamers have logged in Call of Duty. Yeah, that's that's
- 4:46Speaker 6: estimated two hundred and three hundred thousand years that humans
- 4:49Speaker 6: have existed on planet Earth.
- 4:51Speaker 8: So it clears it by a decent amountain, Yeah, it's
- 4:54Speaker 8: clear about a lot.
- 4:55Speaker 6: That's crazy, by a.
- 4:56Speaker 7: Real decent amount.
- 4:57Speaker 8: Yeah, big deal. What do you think you see like
- 5:01Speaker 8: gaming tournaments and all that now and everything like that.
- 5:04Speaker 8: That's something that's like almost screwed into a sport this point.
- 5:08Speaker 6: Like that's yeah, it's a big deal.
- 5:09Speaker 3: That's a huge deal. That's insane.
- 5:13Speaker 7: That's a lot.
- 5:13Speaker 5: It's a lot of dedication.
- 5:18Speaker 4: I've locked my fair share of call of duty hours,
- 5:20Speaker 4: like I am in that number.
- 5:23Speaker 3: That's all I did.
- 5:25Speaker 7: So you met let's see probably added to that.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Yeah, Like during COVID, me and my cousins played war
- 5:34Speaker 4: Zone all day, just like all we did.
- 5:36Speaker 7: It's like put on Metallica's greatest hits.
- 5:39Speaker 4: I would well, so we were so locked in we
- 5:41Speaker 4: wouldn't even put music because you have to be like
- 5:44Speaker 4: communicating through the headset, drinking a bunch of yeah.
- 5:48Speaker 5: Shut up, that's right, slam In trying to stay up.
- 5:53Speaker 3: So big deal.
- 5:55Speaker 5: I played a little bit like for me.
- 5:57Speaker 2: GTA was the game that like I'm a slam and
- 6:00Speaker 2: some some tat's trying to stay up by City. Yeah,
- 6:04Speaker 2: all the hours I was in high school, it was,
- 6:10Speaker 2: you know, had the gaming console in the room.
- 6:12Speaker 6: Which console has Jacob Hester spent the most time.
- 6:15Speaker 5: On Xbox three sixties?
- 6:18Speaker 2: Yeah, but I had in college and like late high
- 6:22Speaker 2: school for sure Xbox.
- 6:23Speaker 7: Three sixty Mine is then super Nintendo.
- 6:27Speaker 5: I lost a lot of hours, a lot.
- 6:29Speaker 6: Yeah, King Griffey Junior Baseball, so good show, Sunset Riders,
- 6:35Speaker 6: Wave Runner Wave Runner was Nintenda sixty four. Yeah, both
- 6:43Speaker 6: they did. It was because that was like the first
- 6:44Speaker 6: like three sixty one where you could do like a
- 6:46Speaker 6: handstand on the hand.
- 6:47Speaker 5: Maybe I'm thinking of f zero maybe zero the racing
- 6:51Speaker 5: game card game on Super Nintendo. Maybe didn't make way
- 6:55Speaker 5: to Tyler Texas.
- 6:58Speaker 7: Sounds terrible though, all.
- 6:59Speaker 8: Right, Luder t Tako, I don't have one yet, Big dealer,
- 7:03Speaker 8: No big deal. Jack Lowsh who wound up be in
- 7:06Speaker 8: Northwestern starting quarterback for the final ten games last season,
- 7:10Speaker 8: has left the baseball football program help kind of ruined
- 7:13Speaker 8: it there to baseball and solely focused on baseball. He's
- 7:17Speaker 8: going to play for Northwestern so again. He was their
- 7:20Speaker 8: starter for ten games last year, seven touchdowns, eight picks,
- 7:24Speaker 8: but added two touchdowns on the ground. Preston Stone from
- 7:28Speaker 8: SMU was kind of the like the factor starter they Yeah,
- 7:32Speaker 8: so Lowsch was gonna have to take a back seat
- 7:34Speaker 8: focusing solely on baseball. He played a little bit of
- 7:37Speaker 8: baseball last year for Northwestern, started at center field, batted
- 7:41Speaker 8: two sixty eight six home runs, and he's looking to
- 7:44Speaker 8: pursue that fully. So losing your quarterback to the baseball
- 7:47Speaker 8: team big dealer, no big deal.
- 7:49Speaker 5: It's no big deal because it's Northwestern.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Yeah, it's no big deal because Preston Stone was going
- 7:53Speaker 2: to be the quarterback anyway. He's this no big deal
- 7:55Speaker 2: because of Northwestern baseball as well. I don't know that
- 7:59Speaker 2: my guy had it ants to really do anything in
- 8:01Speaker 2: football anyways, right, I hate to say that. Yeah, I think.
- 8:05Speaker 8: It's a big deal for the coaching staff only because
- 8:08Speaker 8: it's late in the game. Prustent Stone goes down like
- 8:11Speaker 8: Lisa's kid gave you quality starts last year.
- 8:14Speaker 6: Well, you said he played two sports and bat at
- 8:16Speaker 6: two sixty eight. So if he spends if he plays
- 8:19Speaker 6: one sport, that's double the practice time it gets. So
- 8:21Speaker 6: he should expect a five thirty six.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Oh yeah, he's gonna have that five hundred yeah.
- 8:25Speaker 7: Five.
- 8:26Speaker 8: If you want to bet, you want to go like
- 8:28Speaker 8: your favorite betting site. You want to bet for the
- 8:30Speaker 8: College of Baseball MVP next year. Jack Welsh, Absolutely, you
- 8:35Speaker 8: heard it here first.
- 8:36Speaker 7: I'm off the bench.
- 8:38Speaker 4: A big deal or no big deal? Brian day Ball
- 8:41Speaker 4: names Russell Wilson the starting quarterback.
- 8:44Speaker 6: No big deal?
- 8:44Speaker 5: I mean did he really?
- 8:46Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 8:46Speaker 7: Yesterday?
- 8:47Speaker 5: Really yesterday?
- 8:49Speaker 6: Jackson darts struggling little big camp.
- 8:51Speaker 5: That's right.
- 8:55Speaker 3: I can't play both of them.
- 8:56Speaker 7: I can get should we get a let's ride drop.
- 9:00Speaker 3: I'll do it.
- 9:01Speaker 4: I'll get us a let's ride. I'll get us a mister,
- 9:05Speaker 4: what is it? What's what's the thing, mister, We'll do that.
- 9:10Speaker 4: I'll get this want want want thing.
- 9:16Speaker 8: I read I have this one, good one?
- 9:27Speaker 3: What else do I have on here?
- 9:28Speaker 5: Like in a year to save your job? Like you're
- 9:31Speaker 5: gonna let Russ cook?
- 9:33Speaker 7: You don't like cook? Right?
- 9:35Speaker 6: You know? You fat large?
- 9:36Speaker 7: I'll get some dinner.
- 9:38Speaker 5: Like that portal there you go.
- 9:43Speaker 7: That might be years old, maybe that one or so.
- 9:47Speaker 4: I had a bunch of Napoleon Dynamite ones on here
- 9:49Speaker 4: that I took off from when dressed up as Napoleon Dynamite.
- 9:53Speaker 8: Still have those pictures.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Oh big deal and no big deal. Tommy can Aslonos,
- 10:00Speaker 2: the new Florida state quarterback. He was coming over from
- 10:03Speaker 2: Boston College. I don't know if y'all remember, but he
- 10:06Speaker 2: pretty much was like yeah talking about Obama during the
- 10:08Speaker 2: off season. A lot of people like, hey, do you
- 10:10Speaker 2: want to walk that back at ACC media days. He's like, no,
- 10:12Speaker 2: I'm actually gonna.
- 10:13Speaker 5: Stand on it.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Exactly what I said, And so he was doubling down.
- 10:18Speaker 5: Against Alabama big deal and no big.
- 10:20Speaker 8: Deal, because I'm gonna say big deal. Florida State was
- 10:22Speaker 8: two and ten last year.
- 10:24Speaker 6: Tommy.
- 10:24Speaker 8: I know you're coming over, but uh, you didn't light
- 10:26Speaker 8: the world up at Boston College either.
- 10:28Speaker 4: Come on, man, if you're transferring, I mean to school
- 10:31Speaker 4: in Boston College like a.
- 10:32Speaker 6: Little Florida State.
- 10:34Speaker 7: Fun. Yeah, fun, it's fine, your quarterback.
- 10:37Speaker 5: It was a lot of fun.
- 10:38Speaker 6: You're transferring to Florida State. You want to bring some
- 10:41Speaker 6: swag with If you're going to say something, drop you, yeah,
- 10:44Speaker 6: and say it with conviction.
- 10:45Speaker 3: I think it's a big deal because of that.
- 10:47Speaker 8: Like I appreciate him not walking it back right, Yeah,
- 10:51Speaker 8: for sure.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Double down.
- 10:52Speaker 7: That's for being confident.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Double downs.
- 10:55Speaker 7: Don't be like cringey with it. Yeah, don't be douchey
- 10:58Speaker 7: with it.
- 10:58Speaker 5: Yeah, I'd rather that. Then.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Well, we just hope we go out there and we
- 11:02Speaker 2: hope we play good, and we hope we play well
- 11:04Speaker 2: and do.
- 11:06Speaker 4: Not do not pull a Dennis Allen and apologize for
- 11:10Speaker 4: dropping your nuts.
- 11:11Speaker 6: Oh my god, No, nope, nope, no, that's not This
- 11:14Speaker 6: has been a good day.
- 11:15Speaker 3: That behavior, this pisses.
- 11:17Speaker 7: Me off just thinking about it.
- 11:19Speaker 6: I never ever in my life seen such a display
- 11:24Speaker 6: of cowardness and weakness as that press conference that he gave.
- 11:28Speaker 3: I know.
- 11:30Speaker 7: That was a fireable, immediate fireball offense.
- 11:32Speaker 6: I know it did, but like right there, like making
- 11:35Speaker 6: sure I just grabbed him off the stage.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Because the thing is like, even in that situation, like
- 11:43Speaker 2: any of you in this room could go do something
- 11:45Speaker 2: that I didn't agree with. It could be stupid, it
- 11:47Speaker 2: could be dumb, but there's not going to be a
- 11:50Speaker 2: single soul out there the bus that knows that it's dumb.
- 11:54Speaker 5: Yeah, we're gonna know it was dumb, but it's not
- 11:56Speaker 5: gonna matter. Yeah, because I'm going to have your back.
- 12:00Speaker 2: When the head coach doesn't have your back in the public.
- 12:04Speaker 5: A problem, you can't come back from that. And he didn't.
- 12:06Speaker 5: But you can never come back from that.
- 12:08Speaker 6: And like, was he trying to please the head coach?
- 12:13Speaker 6: You said, yeah, Okay, we don't agree with this, that
- 12:15Speaker 6: what we coach. We'll handle it internally.
- 12:17Speaker 4: But also like Jamis is a big like the Saints'
- 12:21Speaker 4: fans loved Jameis Winston, and like he kind of threw
- 12:24Speaker 4: Jamis under the bus when he did that.
- 12:27Speaker 5: He threw him, Yeah, the bus.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Reverse the bus over him.
- 12:35Speaker 6: Yeah, you don't see high school coaches doing that.
- 12:37Speaker 8: There, he made himself look worse than the process because
- 12:42Speaker 8: he got up there and was like, I thought we
- 12:44Speaker 8: were on the same page. I called this, So I'm like, great,
- 12:47Speaker 8: not only are you throwing your players under the bus,
- 12:49Speaker 8: they completely do not do not respect you at all.
- 12:52Speaker 8: Are going to call a different play than what you called?
- 12:54Speaker 8: That made him look like even big of moron.
- 12:56Speaker 6: Yeah you called yourself. Then on the field afterwards, he's
- 13:00Speaker 6: like apologizing the head kick terrible, terrible?
- 13:04Speaker 4: Also, like, do you think he would have apologized, Like,
- 13:06Speaker 4: do you think that the head coach for the Falcons
- 13:08Speaker 4: would have apologized if he did that?
- 13:10Speaker 8: Nobody anybody that So, like, if I did something to Matt, Matt,
- 13:16Speaker 8: that's not that big of a deal. Who apologizes to
- 13:18Speaker 8: a guy named Arthur? Helps name is Arthur.
- 13:21Speaker 5: It's your biggest rival.
- 13:22Speaker 7: Your name is Arthur? Wait in it?
- 13:24Speaker 6: Arthur is the is the meme with the fist that Arthur.
- 13:29Speaker 8: But you're scared of a guy named Arthur. Speak about
- 13:32Speaker 8: that for a second.
- 13:34Speaker 3: The Arthur fists.
- 13:36Speaker 2: That you imagine like apologizing to like if Less would
- 13:40Speaker 2: have apologized to urban Meyer because we're on the one
- 13:43Speaker 2: yard line. Instead of taking a knee, we just punched
- 13:45Speaker 2: it in. No, don't do that to your rival.
- 13:49Speaker 6: So, my god, he's somebody else's problem though, yeah, not
- 13:54Speaker 6: ours anymore?
- 13:56Speaker 5: Who cares?
- 13:57Speaker 8: A pretty good defense coordinator, Actually have no idea where
- 13:59Speaker 8: he's at.
- 14:00Speaker 7: Pretty good DC.
- 14:01Speaker 5: He's a DC somewhere, but it's not the head coach here.
- 14:04Speaker 7: Let them leading in.
- 14:06Speaker 2: So that's all we care about. All right, when we
- 14:09Speaker 2: come back, we'll get to your munchies. Cashis chef Michael
- 14:12Speaker 2: Johnson joins us right here on no TV.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Off the bench.
- 14:18Speaker 5: All go to Central Plumbing at dot org.

- 16:06Speaker 2: kitchen about to prepare this incredible, most romantic five star mail.
- 16:12Speaker 2: He's like, hold up, wait a minute, let me pull
- 16:14Speaker 2: out my piano real quick.
- 16:15Speaker 7: Hey, Siri, play Casey and jo Jo.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Sure you could do that, but it'd be like cooler
- 16:21Speaker 2: Chef Michael Johnson.
- 16:22Speaker 5: Then pull out the piano a little bit. Chef. What's
- 16:25Speaker 5: going on, sir? How are we doing? How are we living?
- 16:28Speaker 9: I'm living well, guys.
- 16:29Speaker 2: How are y'all doing fantastic? What was Chef Michael Johnson
- 16:33Speaker 2: listening to in the early two thousands, early.
- 16:36Speaker 9: Two thousands, Gosh, I mean I was kind of a
- 16:38Speaker 9: grunge kid, you know. Yeah, early two thousands, I had
- 16:42Speaker 9: just moved down here, a lot of a lot of
- 16:45Speaker 9: kind of I say, hippie music, but like Dave Matthews band,
- 16:49Speaker 9: john stuff like that.
- 16:51Speaker 5: Yeahhys, some Jack Johnson for sure.
- 16:52Speaker 2: But what about like if you were in the kitchen,
- 16:54Speaker 2: then you know, I can't really listen to grunge maybe
- 16:57Speaker 2: as like if you got the date night and you're
- 16:59Speaker 2: trying to like maybe you know, set a different vibe.
- 17:02Speaker 9: I mean I've always been like a boys men all right?
- 17:05Speaker 7: That was all?
- 17:06Speaker 9: Yeah, Like my first concert was a boys of men's. Uh,
- 17:10Speaker 9: kids on the block me too.
- 17:13Speaker 2: That was my first one, Baby Hers Coliseum in Shreveport,
- 17:16Speaker 2: let's go.
- 17:18Speaker 9: I was at the Hurd And Center in Columbia, Missouri.
- 17:20Speaker 5: That's awesome.
- 17:22Speaker 6: That was our first they're playing They're playing the Big
- 17:24Speaker 6: City Report in Columbia.
- 17:26Speaker 5: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 17:27Speaker 2: They didn't come to Tyler on the casino tour. Chill out, Uh,
- 17:33Speaker 2: Chef we missed you last week.
- 17:35Speaker 5: We were down.
- 17:36Speaker 2: We were in Atlanta SEC media day, so glad to
- 17:38Speaker 2: have you back on real quick. Before we get to
- 17:40Speaker 2: the Munchi's questions there, what's it like right now?
- 17:45Speaker 5: Is it kind of the calm before the storm? Training camp?
- 17:48Speaker 2: I have to imagine it's probably like your your busiest time,
- 17:50Speaker 2: certainly with the football team. So we like just preparing
- 17:54Speaker 2: for the madness of training camp because training camp is
- 17:57Speaker 2: so important because you'll lose seven to eleven pounds like
- 18:01Speaker 2: in a single practice.
- 18:02Speaker 5: So kind of like, what's the checklist look like right now?
- 18:05Speaker 9: I mean, honestly, there we are trying to get as
- 18:08Speaker 9: many people onto vacation days as we can because it
- 18:11Speaker 9: is the calm before the storm is kind of quiet.
- 18:13Speaker 9: We there's a lot of planning that goes on during
- 18:15Speaker 9: these days right now, right So it's it's weird stuff
- 18:19Speaker 9: because like we usually don't get six deliveries a week
- 18:23Speaker 9: from our delivery company, so it's making sure that they
- 18:26Speaker 9: can get us that stuff. It's it's also forecasting for
- 18:30Speaker 9: our people, so you know, if we if we start
- 18:33Speaker 9: buying more food suddenly, if we haven't forecasted that to
- 18:36Speaker 9: our vendors, you know they they may not have fought
- 18:38Speaker 9: forward enough to think about that. And you know, we
- 18:41Speaker 9: we can't afford to run out of food. So it's
- 18:44Speaker 9: a lot of conversations with vendors, a lot of and everybody, honestly,
- 18:48Speaker 9: I mean it's the people who filter our oil, is
- 18:50Speaker 9: the people who bring usselves chef jackets, the people who
- 18:53Speaker 9: who bring us our our our you know, floor mats
- 18:56Speaker 9: and stuff. I mean, it's just it's kind of cast
- 19:00Speaker 9: up the business to be ready for seven days a week,
- 19:03Speaker 9: thirty five days in a row, to because I mean, honestly,
- 19:06Speaker 9: once that starts, brother, you know, trying to trying to
- 19:10Speaker 9: get outside of the football cycles pretty difficult, you know,
- 19:13Speaker 9: I mean, it's it's nothing but camp. I mean, I
- 19:15Speaker 9: I you know, like I'll see my kids and I'm
- 19:18Speaker 9: still adapt to everything, but to some degree, you know,
- 19:21Speaker 9: like everybody in my life knows that when August lands, uh,
- 19:25Speaker 9: you know, you're probably not going to see too much
- 19:27Speaker 9: of me. And you know, my kids get you know,
- 19:31Speaker 9: quick meals and have to cook their own dinners at
- 19:34Speaker 9: some point they're old enough to cook anyway. But still,
- 19:36Speaker 9: you know, like instead of me being able to go
- 19:38Speaker 9: home and you know, cook it's it's more like, hey,
- 19:41Speaker 9: there's this in the fridge, there's that in the fridge.
- 19:43Speaker 9: I'll be home. I'll be home in a little bit.
- 19:45Speaker 9: So it's I think everybody's trying to tie up loose
- 19:50Speaker 9: ends before we, you know, get married to the to
- 19:53Speaker 9: the game of football.
- 19:55Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean that really brings up a an interesting
- 19:59Speaker 6: question that I have with just like fun intended here,
- 20:03Speaker 6: but like how the sausage is actually made. Like you're
- 20:05Speaker 6: running a commercial kitchen back there, and then all of
- 20:07Speaker 6: a sudden, the traffic and the amount that you're making
- 20:11Speaker 6: just changes literally overnight. So do you have like a
- 20:14Speaker 6: supply chain person or is it kind of up to
- 20:17Speaker 6: you and your kitchen staff about like on the order
- 20:21Speaker 6: and just like you said, Pat, like salt and pepper,
- 20:24Speaker 6: Matt snapped, like every little thing like explodes from an
- 20:28Speaker 6: inventory standpoint, So do you have somebody that is in
- 20:31Speaker 6: charge of all the ordering?
- 20:32Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 20:33Speaker 9: I do, And I mean my executive TOOO chef Ryan
- 20:36Speaker 9: Andre is above and beyond just being the executive SEO chef.
- 20:41Speaker 9: He's my procurement guy. So he's been an executive chef
- 20:44Speaker 9: here in Baton Rouge for a long time. My process
- 20:47Speaker 9: is a complicated one because we use so many vendors
- 20:49Speaker 9: and because I'm so particular about the products that I use,
- 20:52Speaker 9: Like I'm the procurement guy when it comes to going
- 20:54Speaker 9: out finding the right product and bringing it back and
- 20:57Speaker 9: saying this is what I want to use. Ryan is
- 21:00Speaker 9: a guy who's the day to day guy that it
- 21:02Speaker 9: calls them and says, hey, I need this, Hey I
- 21:03Speaker 9: need that? How much of this? How much of that?
- 21:06Speaker 9: He and I are constantly having conversation about, you know,
- 21:11Speaker 9: how much the forecast, what any you know, like any
- 21:14Speaker 9: any pinch points that we're seeing, if we got too
- 21:16Speaker 9: much of this before, we didn't use enough of that,
- 21:18Speaker 9: so on and so forth, Because I mean, at the
- 21:20Speaker 9: end of the day, we're running a business. It's not
- 21:22Speaker 9: just about beeeding athletes. I mean we have to be
- 21:25Speaker 9: financially sound as well, and waste waste not acceptable, right,
- 21:28Speaker 9: So it's running a cleaning business and to the in
- 21:31Speaker 9: today's day and age, as expensive as suit is, we
- 21:34Speaker 9: have to be cleaned. So having a sharp guy like him,
- 21:38Speaker 9: you know, working with me. He goes in early in
- 21:41Speaker 9: the morning, and that person because he's because he's doing
- 21:45Speaker 9: the purchasing, he kind of oversees the receiving as well.
- 21:48Speaker 9: Now we have a receiving team and we actually have
- 21:50Speaker 9: a young lady that goes around and looks to see
- 21:53Speaker 9: you know, like she takes par levels that understand what
- 21:55Speaker 9: we have and reports to Ryan, you know, what she thinks,
- 21:58Speaker 9: what we think, what he thinks we need, because it's
- 22:02Speaker 9: not enough to have one person. You always want to
- 22:03Speaker 9: have another person in the pocket in case somebody gets
- 22:06Speaker 9: thick or somebody's on you know, like Ryan travels, so
- 22:09Speaker 9: in his absence, she will step in and start, you know,
- 22:13Speaker 9: evaluating what we need and in placing orders. So not
- 22:16Speaker 9: only do we have that person, we have a backup
- 22:19Speaker 9: person for that person for oh crap, moment.
- 22:25Speaker 7: To you.
- 22:27Speaker 9: A lot of them do not all of them don't
- 22:29Speaker 9: not Not all of them do. And and you know,
- 22:31Speaker 9: like for me, I don't, I don't require it. But
- 22:35Speaker 9: you know, once it is, it is symbolic of buying,
- 22:39Speaker 9: if that makes sense. You know, once people start understanding
- 22:42Speaker 9: the program and start understanding my philosophy and start understanding,
- 22:46Speaker 9: you know, like I'm not just being an a hole.
- 22:49Speaker 9: There's a reason, there's a method for my madness, and
- 22:51Speaker 9: it's not just being mean it's you know, because I
- 22:54Speaker 9: would say that I'm firm but fair and I don't
- 22:56Speaker 9: mess around in the kitchen. And some people, you know,
- 22:59Speaker 9: like they they want to be asked what to do,
- 23:01Speaker 9: and I don't ask, you know, I tell you, I
- 23:03Speaker 9: tell them I need you to do this, and if
- 23:05Speaker 9: it doesn't get done, then I, you know, like I
- 23:08Speaker 9: elevate right, and so we don't have time for for
- 23:12Speaker 9: sensitivity too much, and you know, like it is a
- 23:15Speaker 9: it really is, you know, and it's it's not harsh,
- 23:19Speaker 9: but it's.
- 23:22Speaker 5: All right, Chef.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Let's get to some of these munchy questions hashtag munchies.
- 23:25Speaker 2: I'm watching my saturated fat intake for cholesterol purposes. Please
- 23:29Speaker 2: recommend some meats which are low and saturated fat.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Hang on, we lost chef. I'm gonna call him back.
- 23:37Speaker 5: Speechless.
- 23:38Speaker 7: Yeah, I thought that that last answer can hit.
- 23:42Speaker 2: But sometimes Chef will do that. Sometimes he gives great answers,
- 23:45Speaker 2: but sometimes he will like abrupt.
- 23:47Speaker 6: Boom, interesting like the things people don't think about it
- 23:49Speaker 6: feed that many people everything that's just the.
- 23:53Speaker 5: I seem like a small amount for Chef. Honestly, he's back, Chef,
- 23:56Speaker 5: We got you.
- 23:58Speaker 9: Sorry about that. I fell into the black hole.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Yes, yes, chef, let's go all right, first munchies question,
- 24:05Speaker 2: I'm watching my saturated fat intake for cholesterol purposes. Please
- 24:08Speaker 2: recommend some meats which are low and saturated fat.
- 24:11Speaker 9: So what you're looking for is lean meats like chicken breasts.
- 24:14Speaker 9: You're looking for if you're into beef, like flank steak
- 24:20Speaker 9: flats are strip loins are a little bit less, but
- 24:23Speaker 9: but more so than a rabbi if you if you're
- 24:25Speaker 9: looking to not go so harsh but moderate moderate, a
- 24:29Speaker 9: strip loin is good. But what you're looking for, you know,
- 24:32Speaker 9: if you're looking at a piece of red meat, you're
- 24:35Speaker 9: looking for a very little white in it. It should
- 24:37Speaker 9: be majority red, and there's lots of that at the store. Also,
- 24:40Speaker 9: you can you can trim fat if there's a lot
- 24:42Speaker 9: of fat on it. Pork loin, pork tenderloin, stuff like that.
- 24:48Speaker 9: You know, white white meat chicken fish obviously, you know
- 24:52Speaker 9: is always good. Shrimp is good. Stuff like that.
- 25:07Speaker 6: At your house. Where is the proper place to store?
- 25:11Speaker 6: Maybe not store, but use so we use butter. We
- 25:15Speaker 6: keep it out. So do you keep yours out or
- 25:17Speaker 6: do you keep yours refrigerating?
- 25:19Speaker 9: I do keep something out. Yeah, I don't keep all
- 25:20Speaker 9: of it out, but I do keep something out because
- 25:22Speaker 9: it's not going to harm it. And if you're using
- 25:25Speaker 9: butter on a regular enough basis, so it's you know,
- 25:28Speaker 9: like butter will go ranted, but it's gonna take it,
- 25:31Speaker 9: you know, like a couple of months. And if you're
- 25:33Speaker 9: not using that butter within a couple of months, you know,
- 25:36Speaker 9: like there's something wrong with with with your cooking process.
- 25:39Speaker 6: Is it because it's high and fat? Is that why
- 25:42Speaker 6: it lasts such a long time?
- 25:43Speaker 9: Yeah, exactly, yes. And the oil, you know, like the
- 25:46Speaker 9: oil will stead a room jumpers for no problem. And
- 25:48Speaker 9: as long as you're using it on a regular basis
- 25:50Speaker 9: that there's nothing wrong with it.
- 25:52Speaker 5: Hashtag munchies. Can you explain corn sweat?
- 25:56Speaker 9: Corn sweat?
- 25:57Speaker 5: Yeah, corn sweat?
- 25:59Speaker 1: Then?
- 25:59Speaker 5: Can you explain or sweat? I don't know.
- 26:01Speaker 9: I'm not familiar that just because.
- 26:02Speaker 5: It's so hot outside that everything's sweating. Familiar with back sweat, swamp.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Face, I mean the whole Okay, all right, fair enough,
- 26:14Speaker 2: let's see, Alanda, you like your subway sandwiches soggy?
- 26:20Speaker 4: I like a little soggy, okay, chef, can you I like.
- 26:25Speaker 3: To put hella mustard on it.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Okay, okay, yeah, okay, all right, Chef, tell us all
- 26:30Speaker 2: about it.
- 26:31Speaker 5: How do you like your subway?
- 26:32Speaker 4: Do you want me to tell you my my like
- 26:34Speaker 4: my process though for the subway, So like I get
- 26:37Speaker 4: a foot long and then I eat it normal, like
- 26:40Speaker 4: half of it normal, and then I put the other
- 26:42Speaker 4: half in the fridge.
- 26:44Speaker 3: Let it get a little soggy maybe for.
- 26:45Speaker 4: The next day, okay, and then the next day like
- 26:48Speaker 4: it's hitting different because it's got a little sog to it. Absolutely, ye,
- 26:54Speaker 4: like when you said grunge me and Chef would be like, it.
- 26:58Speaker 9: Sounds like it h so me for me, like when
- 27:02Speaker 9: I go into the subway or whatever the sandwich place is,
- 27:05Speaker 9: first of all, I'm like, I don't put I don't
- 27:07Speaker 9: want the mayonnaise on the meat. I want it on
- 27:09Speaker 9: the bread, right, And and I'm like, I want vinegar
- 27:12Speaker 9: and oil on the lettuce, not tomatoes and the pickles.
- 27:15Speaker 9: So I put the meat on and the cheese on,
- 27:17Speaker 9: put the vinegar and oil on the lettuce. So it's
- 27:19Speaker 9: kind of like a salad. And so I like the
- 27:23Speaker 9: ladies that I go to, where it's the subway that
- 27:25Speaker 9: I go to now if I order online, they know,
- 27:28Speaker 9: oh that's him, and they're gonna make it my way.
- 27:30Speaker 9: That's yeah. So it's yeah, I'm doing quite a bit.
- 27:39Speaker 9: But letting it soaked, you know, Like I'll take a
- 27:41Speaker 9: sandwich home and sit it on the table and let
- 27:43Speaker 9: it sit there for an hour before I eat it,
- 27:46Speaker 9: so let everything marinate, you know. And yeah, absolutely, it's
- 27:50Speaker 9: it's it just it doesn't hits different, you know, like
- 27:53Speaker 9: all the flavors meld together for sure.
- 28:00Speaker 4: For chef Michael Johnson Executive Chef Michael Johnson to.
- 28:04Speaker 7: Agree with me, it's soggy sandwich.
- 28:05Speaker 5: I love a little.
- 28:06Speaker 3: Sog in my sandwich. You know what else I do
- 28:08Speaker 3: that might be a little weird, Like.
- 28:10Speaker 5: Let crunch though, like when it's fresh, it.
- 28:11Speaker 3: Still crunches a little bit. But you know what that
- 28:14Speaker 3: this might be a little weird too.
- 28:16Speaker 4: Is like I will get a side of mustard and
- 28:18Speaker 4: like dip it in mustard.
- 28:19Speaker 9: Too hardcore?
- 28:22Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, isn't Isn't this just I'm eating half of
- 28:26Speaker 8: my sandwich then I'm saving the other half of tomorrow.
- 28:29Speaker 3: But I do it intentionally.
- 28:31Speaker 9: Enjoy taking chicken wings home and putting them in the
- 28:38Speaker 9: in the refrigerator just so they're cold, right, Like it's
- 28:41Speaker 9: it's it's a different look and feel for sure, Chef.
- 28:44Speaker 6: I got a question this might be people might take
- 28:47Speaker 6: offense to this question out there some people. What do
- 28:49Speaker 6: you think when somebody comes up to you and says,
- 28:52Speaker 6: I'm gluten free?
- 28:53Speaker 9: Oh man, you know, here's the thing, and gluten free
- 28:57Speaker 9: and and so I do take seriousness behind allergies and
- 29:02Speaker 9: intolerances and such. I have to. I'm a chef, right,
- 29:05Speaker 9: but I think it's something that I think at some point,
- 29:13Speaker 9: you know, like that there was. It's kind of it's
- 29:16Speaker 9: almost akin to saying I'm vegan, right, like if somebody
- 29:19Speaker 9: how do you know if somebody is vegan, don't worry,
- 29:21Speaker 9: they'll tell you, you know, like that's that's the deal. And
- 29:26Speaker 9: I can appreciate it. But it's almost it's almost like
- 29:32Speaker 9: you're expecting me to be vegan or gluten free with you,
- 29:35Speaker 9: and I'm not gluten free. I'm not vegan, but I
- 29:38Speaker 9: can appreciate that you are, you know, and we can
- 29:40Speaker 9: have a conversation about it, and I can make food
- 29:42Speaker 9: however you want look free or not. But if if
- 29:46Speaker 9: it's just coming down to me being you know, like
- 29:48Speaker 9: I would. There are some people out there that kind
- 29:52Speaker 9: of sell gluten free not because of an intolerance, but
- 29:54Speaker 9: because it's their life decision and almost and are trying
- 29:58Speaker 9: to convince you to do so because they feel like
- 30:01Speaker 9: it's the right type of lifestyle. And that is a
- 30:04Speaker 9: little bit forceful for me.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Chef, what is the best food that's supposed to be
- 30:10Speaker 2: served hot but you actually prefer it cold?
- 30:14Speaker 9: Oh man, that's a tough one. I don't know. I mean,
- 30:16Speaker 9: chicken wings and pizza are gonna be up there for sure.
- 30:19Speaker 9: But and I know this is so weird, but I
- 30:22Speaker 9: love cold like Alfredo pasta. I'm penny noodles. It's so
- 30:27Speaker 9: weird because it's like butter. It's like cold butter. And
- 30:29Speaker 9: people are rolling their eyes right now, I'm sure.
- 30:31Speaker 5: But I did roll my eyes at the pizza, but
- 30:34Speaker 5: not the noodles.
- 30:36Speaker 9: Yeah, I kind of do like that. And here's so
- 30:42Speaker 9: a lot of people disagree with this, but like for me,
- 30:46Speaker 9: lunch meat in particular, like sposode or something like that,
- 30:50Speaker 9: like it cured meat. You know, realistically, you should set
- 30:53Speaker 9: those out and let them sit at room temperature so
- 30:56Speaker 9: the fats warm up and they kind of it's like
- 31:00Speaker 9: it's like opening a bottle of wine, like you want
- 31:02Speaker 9: the fats to warm up so that they're more palatable.
- 31:04Speaker 9: But I like that stuff cold and crispy. So it's
- 31:07Speaker 9: I don't know if everybody is different, and I don't
- 31:09Speaker 9: know that there's a wrong or a right way.
- 31:11Speaker 4: But.
- 31:12Speaker 9: You know that I love cold food and it's just different,
- 31:15Speaker 9: right And fried chicken is up there, probably at the
- 31:18Speaker 9: top of the list of I just absolutely love cold
- 31:21Speaker 9: fried chicken the most.
- 31:22Speaker 6: Spaghetti for my final answer, the fat kind of turns
- 31:27Speaker 6: orange and sauce a bit.
- 31:31Speaker 2: I don't know what kind of sauce you're using over there.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Shout out to on Junior's I like.
- 31:35Speaker 6: To when I cook a steak at the end, sometimes
- 31:37Speaker 6: I'll slice it thin and throw it in the fridge
- 31:39Speaker 6: and eat it like cold steak, cold left over steak.
- 31:41Speaker 2: Oh yeah, all right, Chef Michael Johnson, he's preparing for battle.
- 31:50Speaker 5: He is preparing for that time of year. Chef.
- 31:53Speaker 2: We appreciate it every single week. We appreciate you hopping
- 31:56Speaker 2: on with us and giving us all the great takes.
- 31:58Speaker 2: So you give us uh, I'll probably see you. We'll
- 32:00Speaker 2: probably see you at some point over at training camp.
- 32:03Speaker 9: Yeah, okay, good deal. Look forward to seeing you guys.
- 32:05Speaker 2: All right, there is chef Michael Johnson. Little soggy, Oh,
- 32:11Speaker 2: little sog.
- 32:12Speaker 3: They're calling me a little in the chat.
- 32:14Speaker 5: You don't have a middle name, so don't have a
- 32:16Speaker 5: middle name. They're calling that's your rat name.
- 32:19Speaker 8: I'm more concerned that the chat thinks this is like wild,
- 32:23Speaker 8: How is it?
- 32:24Speaker 6: A soft sandwich is great? Like everybody in the chests.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Like, you're the only portion of the sandwich that I
- 32:33Speaker 2: think I would not want soggy is lettuce. Yeah. See,
- 32:36Speaker 2: I can get behind everything else if I know I
- 32:38Speaker 2: don't toast my sandwiches very off.
- 32:40Speaker 8: Don't I don't either, if I know I'm saving it,
- 32:42Speaker 8: like intentionally, I'm not getting let us anyways, I think.
- 32:46Speaker 4: I mean, sometimes I will like not even I am
- 32:49Speaker 4: too much of a big back just finished. Maybe I
- 32:51Speaker 4: like sometimes I will get the subway sandwich, not even
- 32:54Speaker 4: the foot like I will get the sixth inch or whatever,
- 32:56Speaker 4: and I will let it sit like chef said, and
- 33:00Speaker 4: let it like literally soak up all the juice and
- 33:02Speaker 4: get real soggy and enjoy it.
- 33:05Speaker 6: Cold sandwich too, like that that that's cold as well.
- 33:08Speaker 6: That's great.
- 33:08Speaker 2: When we say cold pizza too, do we mean like
- 33:11Speaker 2: out of the refrigerator, just like it's been sitting there,
- 33:14Speaker 2: so it's like refrigerator either way.
- 33:17Speaker 8: I can't do cold. I've just never been able to do.

- 39:02Speaker 6: You triggered a lot of things and a lot of people. Yesterday.
- 39:06Speaker 8: He had a Tiger Droppings thread yesterday and somebody said
- 39:10Speaker 8: Matt Flynn officially retired, and then.
- 39:13Speaker 3: Went underneath it in and of itself.
- 39:16Speaker 8: Because underneath it, it says on his morning radio ship
- 39:21Speaker 8: lsu Bachus eighty one flym seems like a douche if
- 39:26Speaker 8: you're if you're wondering, like he had two hundred and
- 39:29Speaker 8: thirty four down votes. So people came to your defense
- 39:32Speaker 8: and they were like, no, it's using chat GPT. He's
- 39:35Speaker 8: a very humble guy. Then they go on and say, oh, yeah,
- 39:38Speaker 8: well he never made it in the NFL. Then somebody,
- 39:42Speaker 8: somebody wanted to pull up your career earnings and be like,
- 39:45Speaker 8: it doesn't suck to be Matt Flynn.
- 39:46Speaker 6: I would trade places with him.

- 40:12Speaker 8: and Jack's a jester says, well.
- 40:15Speaker 10: He's at my son. His name is Jackson Hester. Jack's Jackson. Yeah,

- 40:40Speaker 8: nobody came to Hester's defense, but.

- 41:06Speaker 6: like you get it, he said in and.
- 41:10Speaker 4: Of itself, because they fully believe that you were actually retiring.
- 41:14Speaker 6: Well, you'll love this.

- 41:18Speaker 8: up when you took this job. Clam Dipp great user name.
