Aired: May 5th, 1957. Johnny Dollar heads to the fading mill town of Cranford to investigate a suspiciously convenient blaze at a junkyard insured for $5,000 — and a claim form that seemed to be filled out before the fire even started. Between a chatty cab driver eyeing his own insurance windfall and neighbors who couldn't be happier to see the eyesore burn, Johnny finds no shortage of people glad the peerless junkyard is gone. But knowing arson happened and proving it are two very different expense-account headaches.
