  I was giving through the Halls. It was a pretty positive week

  last week I will say. Yeah.

  Yeah. I mean like I I don't think it's

  actually that bad, but I had the first like, reality, check is

  what I'm going to call it because I was going through like

  layer 1, layer 2, layer 3 being like hey this ain't got nothing

  on me running through. I was going on DPS because like
• 2:10
  even though if you run it as a Healer, you get that or tank you
• 2:14
  get that Advantage. I didn't I didn't care.

  I any give a damn I got this. I went in this week and I went
• 2:22
  to floor for, or layer for in, in the cold heart reaches or
• 2:29
  what it's called, my goodness Joss.

  I got four of the five lives taken out by floor bosses on on
• 2:39
  floor, 1 and 2. And one of them I got knocked
• 2:45
  off the edge and went to my doom on 44, and this goes up to 6
• 2:52
  this week. So I write got one on, on

  difficult. Yeah.

  Are four layers layer for and it's goes up the six.

  I'm glad he was, we run just as an aside I'm glad even you are

  making those little mistakes with floors and layers and

  everything else because, yeah, it's you are It's Manny and it's

  confusing for the rest of us. So it makes me feel like you're

  human. I'm definitely human.

  That's never been in question. I really hope that's never been

  It does seem like it's oddly, random.

  At least there's some semblance of schedule kind of though, they

  of it and it's just going to be that those these paired up all

  kind of like the vendor for for corruption where you'd like

  there was a set but it was kind of unnavigable of what the hell

  you would get and you would have to go to that list to find out

  of two minds when it comes to which wings are available

  because on the one hand It would be interesting to have a

  rotation much, like Mythic plus FX Has right?

  but at the same time, I kind of Might like the shake-up I guess

  I don't know. It's it's like for variety sake.

  It would be kind of interesting to have like just different
• 5:16
  pairings available instead of like every two weeks getting the
• 5:20
  same pairing of two dungeons or two towers.

  Basically they were available to you but at the same time if I
• 5:26
  was like trying to Target a legendary drop or something and
• 5:30
  the when that torgue a swing was going to show up was The random
• 5:35
  like that would be super frustrating because like, so,
• 5:37
  for instance, my legendary my best in slot legendary on my
• 5:41
  Shaman. Healer came out of one of the
• 5:44
  wings that was available week one.
• 5:47
  So if that hadn't been the week, one week, and if everything was
• 5:51
  random and I had no idea when it was going to come up, that would
• 5:54
  be really frustrating. Because at least even those
• 5:56
  people who have their best in slot legendaries that are like
• 6:00
  drops from the end boss of the raid at least, you know, like
• 6:03
  when the Ray's going to open you have a pretty good idea of when
• 6:07
  your team's going to down that boss and you're going to get
• 6:09
  your chance at your legendary. If tour guest was totally random
• 6:13
  and you had a legendary stuck in one of those wings, then you
• 6:16
  just be like, I have no freaking idea.
• 6:19
  I can't plan at all. It could be this week or could
• 6:22
  be ten weeks from now, and that's got to feel pretty bad.
• 6:24
  So, yeah, I wish they'd just put up a schedule or at least tell
• 6:28
  us how that was going to work. Like, tell us what the plan was.
• 6:34
  I'm all for more communication. If that's my new life motto,
• 6:39
  more communication doesn't matter.
• 6:43
  Yeah, I'm in the same boat. Like I just, I kind of wish that
• 6:46
  they'd been a little bit more open with like just tore gassed
• 6:51
  in general in the scheduling but yeah.
• 6:54
  So you were right like this week did open up difficulties 4 5 & 6
• 6:59
  or layers 4 5 & 6 and I'm I'm kind of glad I mean, as much as
• 7:06
  I don't ever want anyone to have a bad experience, I'm kind of
• 7:11
  glad that you had a bad run because I thought maybe it was
• 7:15
  just me. I thought I was just a terrible
• 7:17
  Shaman and I didn't know what I was doing and everyone else was
• 7:22
  having this great tour guest experience, because in the first
• 7:26
  week, like I actively hated it like I was I didn't want to do
• 7:31
  it. I tried it so many times and
• 7:33
  Then in the second week I so I was able to in the end.
• 7:38
  I was able to complete it but Basically I've come to the
• 7:44
  conclusion. That tour gassed doesn't work,
• 7:49
  the way they marketed. It was going to work because
• 7:55
  they kind of build it as this thing where you could go in with
• 8:00
  any class in any role and you could solo it or you could go in
• 8:03
  with a group of up to five people.
• 8:06
  And I was excited about that because I thought, you know,
• 8:11
  this is great. Is content I can do.
• 8:13
  Like I'm already coordinating the raid.
• 8:15
  Now in order to get raid ready, I've also had to coordinate
• 8:19
  groups to go and run mythix for two weeks.
• 8:21
  Like I was looking forward to content.
• 8:23
  I could do by myself at my own pace on my own time and not
• 8:27
  worry about trying to match my schedule up to other people.
• 8:31
  Because, oh my God, like I have been so stressed about trying to
• 8:35
  get groups together like every freakin day of the week for two
• 8:39
  weeks now. Like I was really looking
• 8:41
  forward to just Just running tour, guest solo on my own.
• 8:46
  The worst or gas runs that I have had have been the ones
• 8:49
  where I've tried to do it solo. I've gone in with one or two
• 8:53
  other people, and it's just a cakewalk in comparison,
• 8:57
  especially if one of those people is a tank or has a
• 9:00
  tanking pet, then it's just like forget it because I was Finding
• 9:04
  in week 1, when I was trying to solo things unless I've got a
• 9:08
  very specific bill that allowed me to have my Earth Elemental
• 9:12
  super often because you I'm basically reduce the cooldown on
• 9:17
  your Earth. Elemental is one of the powers
• 9:19
  that you could potentially be offered, and it takes like a
• 9:22
  minute off every single time to the point that you can basically
• 9:25
  have an infinite tank, and then it gets super easy.
• 9:31
  But if you don't get that power offered to you.
• 9:33
  I was getting to the end boss on layer 3 with no deaths, no
• 9:39
  death, no problems, no, nothing. I'd get to the final boss, my
• 9:42
  Earth, Elemental would die, and I wouldn't be able to do enough
• 9:44
  damage. Edge before he'd come in one
• 9:46
  shot. Me that was like this is really
• 9:49
  frustrating and I would lose like all of my whatever it was
• 9:52
  like six deaths or something in like just over over over shots
• 9:57
  at the final boss. No matter what I did.
• 10:00
  It was just, I could not do enough damage.
• 10:03
  I'd get him down to like 40 or 50 percent and then my Earth
• 10:06
  Elemental would die. And then I would have, you know,
• 10:09
  four minutes left on that coat. Cool down.
• 10:11
  And I'm like, welp, I Run away from this guy for four minutes
• 10:17
  while I wait for my Earth Elemental to come back up.
• 10:20
  So yeah it was it was really, really frustrating for me in the
• 10:23
  first week. So I think just letting go of
• 10:27
  the idea of doing it solo and making sure that I'm going in,
• 10:30
  with a couple of people is the way to at least get my runs done
• 10:34
  in one shot. So I can walk away from it, but
• 10:37
  it's also not as fast as I was led to believe from what people
• 10:42
  had said I guess from beta like is everyone was The saying oh
• 10:45
  it's your Tiki 20 to 30 minutes to do a run and I'm finding it's
• 10:49
  taking me 45 minutes if not an hour to go all the way through.
• 10:55
  And I don't know if that's been your experience like time wise
• 10:57
  as well, but I find in general. It's not so low content and it
• 11:02
  takes a lot longer than I thought it was going to, which
• 11:05
  means it's even more like time and effort invested in something
• 11:10
  that I really don't enjoy. Like, I was worried it was going
• 11:14
  to feel like They trash. It feels like raid trash.
• 11:17
  Like, I don't know what to tell you.
• 11:18
  That's just my experience in it and like I don't want to clear
• 11:22
  five floors away trash or I guess four floors of raid trash
• 11:24
  because one floor is a vendor, right?
• 11:27
  So the six floors the boss? Yeah.
• 11:30
  So like you don't want to do more floors of trash and then go
• 11:33
  do a boss and, you know, like and take that and that's an hour
• 11:36
  of my time. Like we did two hours of rating
• 11:39
  the other night and got three bosses down with much less trash
• 11:42
  and it was much more enjoyable. I don't know.
• 11:45
  I like I know tour gas isn't my thing so I was trying to give it
• 11:50
  some time and not be super down on it right at the get-go.
• 11:53
  But like I hope that the legendary that I got out of the
• 11:58
  first week and that I'm going to upgrade this week and hopefully
• 12:01
  like, I hope I can just be done with tour gassed and I hope they
• 12:04
  never touch it. Like, if they nerfed my
• 12:07
  legendary, I'm going to flip a table because I'm hoping for a
• 12:12
  month and then never touched again for all the shadowlands.
• 12:15
  Like, that's how much I just really don't enjoy it.
• 12:17
  That being said, my husband freaking loves it.
• 12:19
  I don't know why he was crazy, but he loves it.
• 12:22
  So, like I do, I'm closer to her.
• 12:25
  The him. Yeah, I know.
• 12:26
  Like I know I am well aware that I think tour gas is probably the
• 12:31
  most polarizing piece of content that they've put into
• 12:35
  shadowlands. It seems like everything else.
• 12:38
  Everybody, I've talked to is basically on the same page, but
• 12:41
  when it comes to tour guests, it's like you're either kind of
• 12:45
  more in my camp where you're just like oh man I really don't
• 12:48
  enjoy it. I hate the cuz for me I hate the
• 12:51
  randomness. I hate the like never knowing
• 12:54
  what What powers? I'm going to be offered and then
• 12:58
  if I don't get a good offering in a run, it's like my whole
• 13:01
  entire run is useless and I have to start over again and I don't
• 13:05
  get anything out of it. I really don't like those kind
• 13:08
  of feelings, but I know that a lot of people love that like
• 13:11
  when everything does line up and they just melt the trash,
• 13:15
  they're just like feeling super powerful and stuff.
• 13:17
  They really enjoy it and I feel like you're either in Camp
• 13:22
  Gerard, I really don't like it or you're in Camp.
• 13:24
  Oh, this is Super fun and there's a chance I get to be
• 13:27
  Opie and that's really cool. There's not a whole lot of in
• 13:30
  between, is what I'm noticing in a lot of the conversations
• 13:33
  around tour guess which is why I didn't want to have it last
• 13:35
  week. I wanted to wait until I was
• 13:37
  maybe a little bit more measured and I had a better opinion other
• 13:40
  than just hate this, just Burn It To The Ground.
• 13:45
  Okay. I would say yeah, that it is
• 13:50
  very much polarizing. There are some people who Ooh,
• 13:55
  like you, they find one build that really works for them and
• 13:58
  then either they might be kind of like Warriors or Rogues where
• 14:04
  they don't have many options options outside of that.
• 14:07
  And if they don't get those options, the entire run falls,
• 14:10
  apart especially when you're trying to push with like lower
• 14:14
  gear. Like sometimes you really need
• 14:16
  those those powers to line up and that can be incredibly
• 14:21
  frustrating where you're going through.
• 14:23
  Like let's say, floor 1 and floor.
• 14:25
  You and you make it through those and you get to the vendor
• 14:29
  level, you're talking, you're talking to the broker.
• 14:31
  You see the powers, you know, what powers have gone already.
• 14:34
  And just there you're like well this run is just doomed.
• 14:38
  Yes, you're right. And that can really be
• 14:41
  frustrating and the problem with the first week for me, it got a
• 14:47
  little bit better in the second week, but the problem with the
• 14:49
  first week was that I didn't know enough to know that the Run
• 14:52
  was toast because you can just like back out and leave it
• 14:56
  anytime and start over, right? So I think that would have been
• 15:00
  a better plan is if you know by the time I got to the broker and
• 15:03
  I realized I wasn't going to be offered any of my Earth
• 15:06
  elemental powers. I probably should have just
• 15:08
  turned around at that point. You know, called that first 25
• 15:12
  minutes, a wash and just turned around, left started over, let's
• 15:16
  go. But I didn't because I didn't
• 15:18
  know enough to know that, like I wasn't going to get offered
• 15:20
  those powers in that run, because it does seem to offer
• 15:23
  you like once you start to make choices, It gives you more of
• 15:27
  those choices to kind of, like, double down on that power level,
• 15:31
  which on one hand is really cool.
• 15:33
  If you've got say the Earth elemental power because that I
• 15:36
  can choose it and then be fairly certain that I can get it three
• 15:40
  or four more times at which point I'm getting closer and
• 15:43
  closer to Infinity Elemental. But if I don't get offered it,
• 15:47
  it's like, well, I'm not going to get it at all.
• 15:49
  And now I know that, but I didn't at the time.
• 15:52
  So It felt like, you know, this whole long our because again, I
• 15:57
  was running it solo as a Healer, which means like it's gonna take
• 16:00
  me a while to kill stuff, even with the like, bloodlust every
• 16:04
  30 seconds. When I drop a totem like still,
• 16:08
  it's gonna take a wild, but again, like there's that build.
• 16:15
  There's the chain healing chain, lightning build, which I also
• 16:18
  like, but again, the bloodlust thing the chain healing chain
• 16:21
  lightning, those things just work.
• 16:23
  Better when you're in a group, you get way more out of it.
• 16:26
  So I think there's multiple ways to play in tour gas for me as a
• 16:29
  shaman, but all of them seem to be with the exception of the
• 16:33
  earth Elemental thing that you don't get all the time, but they
• 16:36
  just seem to be built around groups.
• 16:38
  And I was like, I was really hoping this would be solo
• 16:40
  content and for me as a shaman, it really doesn't seem to be so
• 16:44
  low content, and it's not my favorite stuff anyways.
• 16:47
  So, but when I was in a group, like, I did two runs back to
• 16:52
  back with our tank. And in the first run, I got the
• 16:55
  bloodlust build and he was like, oh my God were lusting without
• 16:59
  the debuff, every 30 seconds, this is the greatest run of my
• 17:03
  life and he was totally down for it and having a great time.
• 17:06
  And then the next run, he was like, wait, why don't we have
• 17:09
  the bloodlust thing Jocelyn? Why didn't you choose that?
• 17:11
  I'm like, I wasn't given the option, like I would have to
• 17:15
  give you an opportunity bloodlust but it's not a thing
• 17:18
  this time. And in that run, I didn't need
• 17:22
  infinity or Elemental because I had a tank.
• 17:24
  So yeah. It just it's I don't know.
• 17:27
  It's the the randomness I think of the way that it works has
• 17:33
  really put me off of it, but I don't know how you fix that
• 17:37
  without making it feel super say me, right?
• 17:42
  Yeah, I think that's the Crux of it.

  I I would suggest to people who are having those sort of runs to
• 17:53
  take the time and take the time up, front to learn, what are the
• 18:00
  powers you want to grab quickly and what makes a viable run so
• 18:03
  that you can back out on floor, two or three, right?
• 18:08
  Rather than going through to the end boss and just not having a
• 18:11
  viable build. I think the straight of it that
• 18:15
  was what killed me is? It was an hour of my time which
• 18:17
  especially in the first week that our could have been used
• 18:21
  again like to run mythix or to you know grind up whatever anima
• 18:27
  or who knows like but I could have used that time to get a
• 18:31
  reward. Instead of, you know what, what
• 18:35
  ended up feeling? Like a wasted, our of my game
• 18:39
  time, which, I mean, you guys know, I do like three different
• 18:44
  podcast. Every week I have to play three
• 18:46
  different games or more to make that content.
• 18:49
  I have a full-time, nine-to-five job.
• 18:53
  I have a family, you know, it's just like the the amount of
• 19:00
  gaming time that I have is potentially quite Limited.
• 19:04
  And so to play a game for an hour with a specific goal in
• 19:09
  mind and then to not actually walk away from that hour with
• 19:14
  the thing I was trying to farm being the, what does it sold?
• 19:18
  Sold dust or whatever? Yeah, it's all Ash.
• 19:21
  Yes, that's it. That's / walking away, without
• 19:26
  that, I was just like, oh, man, like this just feels so terrible
• 19:31
  and I mean, I Would argue as well that even if you are
• 19:35
  walking away after layer 2 or after layer 3, when you get your
• 19:39
  chance to talk to the broker and see what you're being offered.
• 19:42
  Even if at that point, you're walking away.
• 19:46
  I don't know man. It just it's I do you kill make
• 19:50
  it work but like if you can feel your Covenant to write because
• 19:55
  like there's powers in there that will Empower your different
• 20:01
  Covenant abilities. So either your Covenant ability
• 20:05
  that everybody gets or your Covenant ability that only your
• 20:09
  class gets but there's those empowerment's as well.
• 20:13
  And I feel like because of the Covenant.
• 20:16
  I chose as my Shaman. My, my ability just isn't that
• 20:22
  powerful. So, those options always feel
• 20:25
  like a little bit like dead options to me.
• 20:27
  So I don't choose them and then, so, it feels like I have even
• 20:31
  less options because of the glass Covenant, combination.
• 20:34
  I decided to go with four law reasons.
• 20:37
  I really like my Covenant ability.
• 20:38
  I think it's super cool. I think it's maybe a little bit
• 20:42
  less powerful than it should be. I think that Be like I shorter
• 20:46
  cooldown on it would be really nice.
• 20:49
  But like a shorter cooldown as like the base power.
• 20:54
  Not when I'm in tour guests. Yeah.
• 20:58
  And like, man, it sucks that you're saying that that's
• 21:01
  probably a whole other conversation but I have you
• 21:04
  noticed that now that I've played with it a little bit, I'm
• 21:06
  like, I don't feel very powerful when I use it.
• 21:10
  It looks super pretty and I'm really glad I went with the blue
• 21:13
  sparkly thing but and it used to be entirely Opie and luckily
• 21:18
  they stop that but it just it sucks that because of the tour,
• 21:24
  guess mechanics and the way and the way that Covenant abilities
• 21:31
  work, certain options are not good for solo content and it is
• 21:35
  really affecting your play and your power based on lure
• 21:40
  decisions, or decisions, however you want to put it yet, But I
• 21:48
  would say in general tour, gases group, everybody seems to enjoy
• 21:54
  it right now. I'm hoping that as we get those
• 21:59
  holiday powers that will keep it fresh.

  I just, I think that they need to do some maybe some additional
• 22:10
  powers that show up when you're in Solo or when You're in a
• 22:15
  group and maybe that might make the difference to make it more
• 22:18
  viable to go as a solo player or more viable to go as a group.

  Yeah. Obviously, that's how I thought
• 22:24
  it was gonna work. You know.
• 22:26
  I didn't think that it was just going to be like, hey, we're
• 22:28
  scaling the health or were removing inability or something.
• 22:32
  If you're in insert roll here, I don't know.

  I thought that they were going to put a little bit more thought
• 22:40
  into how it would work for a solo player and it doesn't seem
• 22:44
  that they have. I think that there's definitely
• 22:46
  a lot of things they could change that would make tour
• 22:50
  guest more. Viable, first solo person.
• 22:55
  And I mean, maybe that's my fault for not being in beta and
• 22:59
  not running tour, Gaston enough to tell them that but I don't
• 23:02
  know, man. I feel like there's, it's
• 23:06
  probably the, the one system in the game right now that I feel
• 23:11
  like I could have used another passer to of development and I'm
• 23:18
  not sure like whose fault that is like Else feels pretty good
• 23:23
  like questing feels pretty good. The dungeons.
• 23:25
  Feel-good, The Raid so far were in talk about in a minute, feels
• 23:28
  good. But Just tore gas to me doesn't.
• 23:35
  And I don't think it's a bad concept.
• 23:38
  I just think that there's again more tweaking that could have
• 23:42
  happened before it came out the way that it did to give me such
• 23:45
  a sour experience in the first week, like having to go to
• 23:49
  people, my guild asking them to run tour guest with me when
• 23:53
  they've already done it for the week.
• 23:54
  They're not getting anything out of it.
• 23:56
  Like yeah, I just I wish that they had even if they'd like
• 24:01
  split the Lash across the floor somehow.
• 24:03
  So you get like 10 for the first floor, 20 than 40.
• 24:07
  Then 80, then 100. For a total of however much
• 24:11
  you're supposed to get. If you complete the final or and
• 24:14
  then like the next time you go in you don't get it unless you
• 24:18
  get to the sixth floor. Like you've already completed
• 24:21
  and gotten your Ash for floors one through five or whatever
• 24:24
  like just something that rewarded me for that time would
• 24:28
  have been nice but that's probably a conversation for The
• 24:31
  end of the expansion to talk about.
• 24:33
  All of the things that I wish that they'd done when I've had
• 24:36
  much more time to play with it. But yeah, like I just not my
• 24:40
  jam. I'm looking forward to hopefully
• 24:43
  knock on wood that my legendary is not going to get nerfed that
• 24:48
  my best in slot, just remains my best in slot and I never have to
• 24:51
  engage with this content again and then I'll be happy, you'll
• 24:56
  still need to engage with it to level up or you're going to have
• 24:59
  to engage with your second favorite piece of Tenth.

  The mission table, to get more. So lash and grief.

  Am I avoiding that? But we're not going to.

  I think that it is challenging even when I got my butt handed

  to me. Me on Tuesday because I had to

  plan, I was going in and then and getting enough, so lash to

  like, get my legendary stuff, and I got my butt handed to me.

  It was just absolute reality check.

  Like I said, and I went over to the other Wing, I managed to get
• 25:49
  enough dust and I'm like, I don't want to push my luck
• 25:51
  because my confidence was shattered.

  Everyone loves confident shattering content.

  I did this on stream and I'm just like my God that happened.

  I'm gonna go do this. And like, just like, Five

  better than normal because Normal is 200 right normal.

  this week, which is D, which is like depressed over what.

  It will be next week right now it's hitting a cap at 10 next

  week it'll go all the way up to 15 and so it will be 210 at the

  end of dungeon versus a versus what it is two or three this

  week and what drops out of heroic to 13.

  That's okay, it's right now, slightly better than normal gear

  at cap next week. It'll be slightly worse than

  heroic year. So it's kind of like falling in

  between whereas before if you were running Mythic plus and you

  were getting to your max, you were getting like Mythic level

  raid gear because there were some people that were like 15 20

  average. I item level over and above what

  we could even get out of heroic to the point that We would be

  running heroic and people would have no upgrades except maybe

  from the final boss unlike week one, which is crazy.

  So I think that this is a better system if you look at Mythic

  Plus in a bubble and if you look at Mythic plus as a

  self-contained system it seems like the progression from one

  key to another will give you a slight increase in item level,

  then you can go into that next level of difficulty.

  You'll be a little bit stronger and It seems like that's the way

  the Mythic plus system should work right get gear from Level 1

  or level 2 and then move up to level 3.

  That one's going to be a little bit harder but you're a little

  protecting the shadowlands from outside influences, who are

  keeping it safe. And maintaining the balance of

  life and death, basically by protecting.

  Shadowland. So them attacking another Realm

  of the shadowlands is going against their like sacred charge
• 1:14:23
  for lack of a better term. So you leave or a Bose to go

  find out what's happening in mild R axis and when you arrive,

  you're in the center of this giant chaotic like Battle Royale

  or Rena thing. And I think that really put a

  lot of people off because they were like What's going on?

  Who even was the ones that attacked like, why are, why am I

  in an arena? And it was a little bit of a

  jarring entry, but I think it was really kind of fun and

  interesting because it kind of threw you straight into that

  fighter mentality, right? Like you land and you're just

  like, oh my God, I'm fighting for my life.

  What's going on? So when you arrive in that Arena

  and then you win, it kind of just throws the three remaining

  houses into chaos because You find out that there were five

  houses of meld raxus. Now, there's only three, the

  three leaders are kind of duking it out in this Arena.

  You show up and just put throw a wrench in everything and an

  all-out War breaks out between the remaining houses as like

  news of the Betrayal, and the attack of Bastion is revealed.

  So the house of the chosen, who baroness track 0 belongs to and

  who is led by margrave cracks. This he kind of confronts the

  heads of the other two houses that are still around which are

  the house of rituals and the house of constructs, he

  confronts them is like WTF and they're like shrug you know,

  it's time for us to assert our might or whatever.

  And so they start to Target you Drac arrives, rescues you and

  recruits you to join the house of the chosen in the fight

  against the other. Two houses.

  Who I said have betrayed Mal Drax this is purpose.

  So she kind of gives you a little bit more of a background

  Our of meld raxus who has gone mysteriously missing and in that

  power vacuum, that's when the house of rituals in the house of

  constructs decided that they were able to actually kind of

  take over. It's like if there was no longer

  one unifying force. So they decided to just take

  over and do whatever they wanted.

  And we find out later actually Ally themselves with the jailer

  so, You, you take the blade to the seat of the Primus, which is

  the sanctum or his old sanctum and you activate one of the

  rooms at the seat, which makes you think that the runeblade is

  some sort of key to the door to get into the seat of the Primus.

  So you then convince the members of the Fallen houses to join

  your cause against the to Trader houses.

  So, the Fallen houses are the house of eyes, which is Because

  original house, which is where we saw her in her little

  cinematic thing. So, she originally joined the

  house of eyes and learned a whole bunch of rogge ways.

  And after that, after the fall of the House of eyes is when she

  the Rogues and the, and the tricksters, basically of Mal

  interesting kind of Angle or spin on the hold Rocca story

  because at first, you just like, oh, she's super special and she

  was sent to margrave crixus at the house of the chosen very

  specifically because she was a warrior in life.

  And now she's gonna, you know, she's the best of both worlds,

  and blah, blah blah. But I'm sure to her Fallen house

  construct things out of dead things and make the best of the

  world. So you are snuck in a pile of

  corpses and you see that they are creating new.

  Constructs from Kiri and parts. And so this was actually one of

  my favorite moments where they showed like the passage of time

  and where it felt like my Just progression through the story

  was actually meaning something. And making a difference is that

  And he is able to actually sue the souls within the Abomination

  and turn it to your side. You kill the baron of the House

  of constructs. You kill.

  Baron hail us on your way out and make your escape and you

  Then you go and investigate the house of plague plagues for

  survivors and discover that the house of rituals was also

  responsible for the Fall of the House of plagues the house.

  The place had to accept it helped because of the the anima
• 1:27:30
  drought though. They didn't trust the house of
• 1:27:32
  rituals. They felt that they had no
• 1:27:34
  choice. So you find a very confused

  plague divisor named Marla that who I like, oh my God, I felt
• 1:27:42
  for this character so much, like he really made me.

  Care about the house of the plagues, which is like basically
• 1:27:49
  just makes like plagues and poisons.

  And all of that kind of stuff that I can see how the house of

  plagues. And the house of eyes would

  probably work really well together but he basically is

  just confused. He thinks that you're his lab

  assistant. He was clearly involved in the
• 1:28:08
  explosion and fall of the house but he doesn't remember

  anything. All he knows is that he's

  supposed to be making a potion. It will protect his margrave
• 1:28:18
  margrave stirred AMA, but he doesn't kind of realize that his
• 1:28:23
  house is already fallen. And, oh my God, I just this
• 1:28:27
  character was giving me so many feels so lonely.

  Yeah, I don't know why, I don't know what it was about this guy,

  but I can say it's unusual that is giving it feels.

  this character so much. So you are tasked with helping

  to finish the potion to protect the margrave but it does turn

  out that it's too late to save her.

  She's been transformed into this monstrous, slime creature.

  Who I also really felt for because in this is maybe a

  little bit of a spoiler. If you haven't done all the

  dungeons but she is an emboss of a dungeon and just like

  everything that she says as her voice lines as part of that

  dungeon fight is just like she is just Emotionally destroyed.

  She's talking about how her house is ruined and everything

  are all the traders that are still loyal to the guy that I

  thing because like on a second playthrough you see that he's

  trying to get you killed, he like yeah, whatever you had with

  no no backup or like sends you to like fish out the Spy so that

  you can get killed by the spies but never at any point is he

  like I'm going to help you. He's like here, go over here and

  go do this busy work so you can go die.

  defeat him. But you do charge your room

  Blade with the fifth and final Rune, which then allows you to

  open the door at the seed of the Primus.

  So you head back to the seat of the Primus and it's under

  attack. You, you kind of defeat the the
• 1:37:35
  people who are attacking the seat and you open the door to

  enter the inner sanctum and in placing the runeblade in a stone

  altar. In front of his statue, the
• 1:37:44
  voice of the Primus starts to speak to you and delivers a dire
• 1:37:47
  warning, that the Jailer is the one that defeated the Primus and

  is a Grave threat to shadowlands and he says, if there's any hope

  of defeating the Jailer, the other Eternal ones must be
• 1:38:00
  warned. So the Eternal ones are the like
• 1:38:03
  basically leaders of the zones. So you've got the wallet the

  Arbiter, but obviously the Arbiters out of commission right

  now but it would have been the Winter Queen out of Art and

  I definitely think the questing portion of Mal Drax has felt the

  the longest, I had some issues in meld Roxas where I think like

  the quest and I didn't realize it was trying to send me to a

  different area like I think you were supposed to maybe go and do

  or sorry. There are some parts of questing

  and shadowlands. I noticed where you have an NPC,

  that will have either some voice lines or they'll have to walk

  from one area to another and there's no indication that they
• 1:50:15
  have a quest for you until they like reach their final
• 1:50:18
  destination and they finish their voiceover.

  So I think that at some point in the middle of the Mal drax's

  story arc, I walked away from a character who turned into a

  quest Giver after I talked to them and I didn't realize

  because I ended up doing what I thought was most of the or what

  I thought was all of the lady Vash story.

  And then I went back and did the, the baron virus story where

  Was fighting air quotes, fighting The House of the

  constructs. And again, sending you in

  And then I was like, I don't have any other quests.

  I don't know what's going on. Like why, how have I hit a dead

  end like what's going on? And it's because I still had

  more to do in an earlier questline that I just hadn't

  picked up. So like I did have that sort of

  a disjointed experience. But yeah, I think personally, I

  noticed maldor axis. The longest and I do agree as

  well. That the Zone it's cell itself

  aesthetically I thought was the least interesting of the four

  zones but it doesn't appeal to me aesthetically so maybe it's

  that you know like all the other zones are just as say me with

  little pockets of different as Mal Drax, this is.

  But because the overall aesthetic, didn't appeal to me

  the fact that they were making new constructs out of kurian

  bodies that they got by assaulting the zone of Bastion.
