Mega Edition: Geoffrey Berman And His Removal From The Epstein Investigation (8/29/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

Speaker 1: LawAndCrime.com. Headline, Why Attorney General Barr May Not Have the
• 0:05
Speaker 1: Legal Authority to Force Out the U.S. Attorney for the SDNY.
• 0:10
Speaker 1: Another article by Matt Nahum. Attorney General William Barr, aka
• 0:17
Speaker 1: Droopy Dog, announced Friday night that the U.S. Attorney for
• 0:20
Speaker 1: the Southern District of New York, who was appointed to
• 0:22
Speaker 1: his position by a federal court, was resigning from his
• 0:25
Speaker 1: post and being replaced by an acting U.S. Attorney who
• 0:29
Speaker 1: has never been a prosecutor. So, let me get this straight.
• 0:33
Speaker 1: As much as I don't like Berman, and I am
• 0:35
Speaker 1: on record saying that, right, folks? You all know how
• 0:38
Speaker 1: I feel about all of these prosecutors in this situation,
• 0:41
Speaker 1: how I feel about how the government has handled this,
• 0:44
Speaker 1: and most certainly how I feel about how bars handled this.
• 0:47
Speaker 1: But you're going to get rid of Berman and bring
• 0:50
Speaker 1: in somebody who has never even been a prosecutor to
• 0:53
Speaker 1: handle cases such as going after Jeffrey Epstein's associates? That's
• 0:57
  Speaker 1: where we're at as a country? That's what we're doing.
• 0:59
Speaker 1: That's what we think is a good idea. Well, I
• 1:02
  Speaker 1: can't agree with that. I don't think it's a good idea.
• 1:04
Speaker 1: And once again, I find myself on opposing sides from
• 1:09
Speaker 1: Attorney General William Barr. Shocker. The problem is that SDNY's
• 1:15
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Berman doesn't see it the same way. And he
• 1:18
Speaker 1: says he has no intention of stepping down. That's likely
• 1:21
Speaker 1: because Berman thinks he is entitled, by federal law, to
• 1:25
Speaker 1: remain in that role until the Republican-led Senate confirms a nominee. Well,
• 1:32
Speaker 1: you know that the Republican-led Senate is going to streamline this.
• 1:36
Speaker 1: They're going to try and make it as quick as possible.
• 1:39
Speaker 1: And we know that the Democrats will try and hold
• 1:41
Speaker 1: it up just on GP, right? When in reality, both
• 1:46
Speaker 1: sides should be working together to put somebody in that
• 1:49
Speaker 1: post that is acceptable to not only both sides, but
• 1:52
Speaker 1: to the public. They won't do that, though. What they'll
• 1:55
Speaker 1: do is they'll want another yes man in there, if possible,
• 1:58
Speaker 1: somebody that's going to beat to the Trump team's drum.
• 2:01
Speaker 1: And who cares? You know, justice be damned. And again, folks,
• 2:07
Speaker 1: it's all such a game of WWE, who the president is,
• 2:11
Speaker 1: and oh, what they say and what they do. It's
• 2:13
Speaker 1: just such, it's such bullshit. It really is just such
• 2:16
Speaker 1: bullshit at this point. And I'm so, I'm so over
• 2:21
Speaker 1: all of it. The stupid ass political fighting we see
• 2:24
Speaker 1: on TV between these people on a regular basis, the divisiveness,
• 2:28
Speaker 1: the this one hates that one, and how they try
• 2:31
Speaker 1: and convince the torch people that the pitchfork people are
• 2:34
Speaker 1: trying to take their torches. and how we keep falling
• 2:37
Speaker 1: for it as a populace, when in reality, when in reality,
• 2:41
Speaker 1: it should be all of us who are taken advantage
• 2:44
Speaker 1: of by these people marching in the streets together in solidarity,
• 2:47
Speaker 1: instead of letting them split us into different groups of, oh,
• 2:51
Speaker 1: you're black, or you're white, or you're Italian, or you're this,
• 2:54
Speaker 1: or you're that. And then what they do is they
• 2:57
Speaker 1: get us all at each other's throats. That way, we
• 3:00
Speaker 1: can't all rise up and put the pitchforks and the
• 3:02
Speaker 1: torches together and go after who really needs going after.
• 3:08
Speaker 1: And that's what they continue to do. And that's why
• 3:10
Speaker 1: you see all of this infighting. And that's why you
• 3:13
Speaker 1: see all of this rage porn in the legacy media.
• 3:16
Speaker 1: They have one goal, folks, to keep the electorate split.
• 3:23
Speaker 1: Berman oversaw the prosecution of former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen.
• 3:27
Speaker 1: His office also brought criminal cases against Trump lawyer Rudy
• 3:31
Speaker 1: Giuliani's former business associates Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman. Berman's
• 3:36
Speaker 1: office is currently investigating Giuliani. And under Berman's leadership, SDNY
• 3:42
Speaker 1: famously brought sex trafficking charges against the since-deceased Jeffrey Epstein. Oh, wait, whoa, whoa,
• 3:48
Speaker 1: hold on. Let's back up a minute here, okay? Imagine
• 3:52
Speaker 1: if Berman spent as much time going after Jeffrey Epstein's
• 3:55
Speaker 1: associates as he did going after Rudy Giuliani and Lev
• 3:59
Speaker 1: Parnas and Igor Fruman. Now, don't get me wrong, folks.
• 4:04
Speaker 1: I will never sit here for one second and try
• 4:07
Speaker 1: to tell you that Rudy Giuliani isn't another slickster, because
• 4:10
Speaker 1: he is. Lev Parnas, not too familiar with him, and
• 4:14
Speaker 1: Igor Fruman, again, not too familiar with him either. But
• 4:17
Speaker 1: guess who I am familiar with? Ghislaine Maxwell. Jean-Luc Brunel.
• 4:22
Speaker 1: Why aren't these people being prosecuted? Why aren't they being
• 4:25
Speaker 1: chased down with the same vigor that you're chasing down
• 4:29
Speaker 1: so-called Trump associates? Again, because it's about politics. It's not
• 4:36
Speaker 1: about the survivors. It's not about equal justice under the law.
• 4:41
Speaker 1: It's about spiking political footballs for the SDNY. And honestly,
• 4:46
Speaker 1: the SDNY, the Justice Department, they're all... A joke at
• 4:51
Speaker 1: this point. How can anyone take these people seriously? But
• 4:56
Speaker 1: Barr said Friday that, with Berman out, an acting replacement
• 5:00
Speaker 1: is ready to step in, and that President Donald Trump
• 5:03
Speaker 1: already has a permanent replacement for Berman in mind. It's
• 5:06
Speaker 1: been reported that Barr forced Berman out. Look, I don't
• 5:10
Speaker 1: doubt it for a second. I don't doubt it for
• 5:12
Speaker 1: one second. Bill Barr is like Darth Vader. When this
• 5:15
Speaker 1: guy steps into the room, the song should come on.
• 5:29
Speaker 1: That's what should play every time this dude walks into
• 5:31
Speaker 1: a room. Because he's like Darth Vader. I have zero
• 5:34
Speaker 1: faith in Bill Barr to do the right thing. And
• 5:37
Speaker 1: I know that's going to upset a lot of people.
• 5:38
  Speaker 1: And I don't care. Honestly, I really don't care. Because
• 5:41
Speaker 1: it's how I feel. I'm never going to hold back.
• 5:44
Speaker 1: And especially when it comes to this case. This case
• 5:48
Speaker 1: is so important to me that anyone who plays politics
• 5:51
Speaker 1: with it is automatically categorized as part of the enemy camp.
• 5:58
Speaker 1: Because when you're playing politics with this case, and you're
• 6:02
Speaker 1: doing it to try and slam home a point on
• 6:05
Speaker 1: one side or the other, when it's obvious that both
• 6:08
Speaker 1: sides of the aisle were dipping their fingers and their
• 6:11
Speaker 1: toes in Jeffrey Epstein's disgusting, dirty pool, well, it makes
• 6:14
Speaker 1: you look like the asshole, folks. It makes you look
• 6:17
Speaker 1: like the one who is living in an echo chamber.
• 6:21
Speaker 1: And remember... This goes for both sides of the aisle.
• 6:27
Speaker 1: I am pleased to announce that President Trump intends to
• 6:29
Speaker 1: nominate Jay Clayton, currently the chairman of the Securities and
• 6:33
Speaker 1: Exchange Commission, to serve as the next United States Attorney
• 6:37
Speaker 1: for the Southern District of New York. Jay Clayton, huh?
• 6:40
Speaker 1: You mean the guy with ties to Deutsche Bank? That
• 6:43
Speaker 1: same Jay Clayton? This is an absolute joke. And I
• 6:48
Speaker 1: don't know how anyone who is looking at this from
• 6:50
Speaker 1: an unbiased perspective can look at the way Bill Barr
• 6:54
Speaker 1: is conducting himself and not have concerns. And not wonder
• 6:59
Speaker 1: what the hell is truly going on. Jay Clayton is
• 7:05
Speaker 1: nothing more than another money man. Jay Clayton is nothing
• 7:08
Speaker 1: more than another Wall Street toady. But I guess that's fine.
• 7:13
  Speaker 1: We'll just have him... I mean, it's such a joke.
• 7:17
Speaker 1: This is exactly what we need, huh? A guy from
• 7:19
Speaker 1: the Securities and Exchange Commissions as the new United States
• 7:24
Speaker 1: Attorney for the Southern District of New York, especially considering
• 7:28
Speaker 1: all of the financial crimes that were committed in the
• 7:30
Speaker 1: wake of Jeffrey Epstein, this could be construed as putting
• 7:34
Speaker 1: somebody in charge in the SDNY that's going to be
• 7:38
Speaker 1: someone who looks favorably upon guys like Jess Staley or
• 7:43
Speaker 1: Glenn Dubin or Wexner. How does Barr or anybody else
• 7:49
Speaker 1: think that this is quality or this is a good idea?
• 7:52
Speaker 1: I just don't understand how anyone can support this kind
• 7:57
Speaker 1: of shit right now. I get it. There's hyper-partisans that
• 8:01
Speaker 1: are going to support whatever Bill Barr does. And I
• 8:04
Speaker 1: get it. They're the same people. They're the different face
• 8:09
Speaker 1: of the same coin during the Obama administration when you
• 8:13
Speaker 1: had all of the people that would support Eric Holder
• 8:16
Speaker 1: no matter what he did. You see, folks, this has
• 8:19
Speaker 1: been going on in this country forever. We have been
• 8:25
Speaker 1: getting dicked around, screwed over, and while the Republicans and
• 8:29
Speaker 1: the Democrats get out on TV and they engage in
• 8:32
Speaker 1: their political theater, what's really happening is people like you
• 8:36
Speaker 1: and I, average people in this country, are getting screwed
• 8:40
Speaker 1: on a regular basis. And if you think you and
• 8:42
Speaker 1: I are getting screwed, just take a look at what
• 8:44
Speaker 1: these survivors have had to go through for all of
• 8:46
Speaker 1: these decades and still have to go through. And now,
• 8:50
Speaker 1: another slap in the face as Jay Clayton. Is getting
• 8:54
Speaker 1: ready to be the United States Attorney for the Southern
• 8:57
Speaker 1: District of New York You couldn't even make this up
• 9:00
Speaker 1: if you wanted to For the past three years, Jay
• 9:04
Speaker 1: has been an extraordinarily successful SEC chairman, overseeing efforts to
• 9:09
Speaker 1: modernize regulation of the capital markets, protect Main Street investors,
• 9:13
Speaker 1: enhance American competitiveness, and address challenges ranging from cybersecurity issues
• 9:18
Speaker 1: to the COVID-19 pandemic. The statement from Barr began. Well, yeah,
• 9:23
Speaker 1: of course, that's the statement that Barr is going to run.
• 9:25
Speaker 1: He's going to run a favorable report on his guy, right? Look,
• 9:28
Speaker 1: this is the guy for the job. You can trust
• 9:30
Speaker 1: me just like you can trust me about the videos. No. Sorry, Barr.
• 9:34
Speaker 1: You haven't built any trust. You haven't even built an
• 9:38
Speaker 1: iota of trust with me. So, how am I going
• 9:41
Speaker 1: to trust anything you have to say here? Clayton's no
• 9:44
Speaker 1: better than Berman. In fact, he might even be worse.
• 9:49
Speaker 1: His management experience and expertise in financial regulation give him
• 9:53
Speaker 1: an ideal background to lead the United States Attorney's Office
• 9:57
Speaker 1: for the Southern District of New York, and he will
• 9:59
Speaker 1: be a worthy successor to the many historic figures who
• 10:03
Speaker 1: have held that post. And again, this is what really
• 10:06
Speaker 1: scares me, folks. This is what bothers me the most.
• 10:09
Speaker 1: That this man is part of the financial sector. Every
• 10:14
Speaker 1: single disgusting bastard we talk about, pretty much, is part
• 10:18
Speaker 1: of the financial sector. So you mean to tell me
• 10:22
Speaker 1: this guy wasn't friendly with any of them? He didn't
• 10:24
Speaker 1: rub shoulders with Jeff Staley? He didn't rub shoulders with
• 10:28
Speaker 1: Les Wexner or Glenn Dubin? Of course he did. He
• 10:31
Speaker 1: worked for Deutsche Bank. And we all know that Deutsche
• 10:34
Speaker 1: Bank is home of money laundering. So you see, folks,
• 10:38
Speaker 1: when you start putting the pieces together and you start
• 10:41
Speaker 1: adding one plus one, but it comes up at three,
• 10:44
Speaker 1: You know you have an issue. You know things are
• 10:47
Speaker 1: not right. And this whole situation does not pass the
• 10:51
Speaker 1: sniff test, in my humble opinion. On behalf of the president,
• 10:56
Speaker 1: I thank Jay for accepting this nomination, and I look
• 10:59
Speaker 1: forward to working with him soon. Oh, I'm sure. I'm
• 11:01
Speaker 1: sure you look forward to giving him the playbook and
• 11:03
Speaker 1: telling him what he's going to do, right, Mr. Barr?
• 11:07
Speaker 1: Clayton has never been a prosecutor, but he is nonetheless
• 11:10
Speaker 1: in line to lead, perhaps, the most storied U.S. Attorney's
• 11:13
Speaker 1: Office in the nation. Now, how many times have I
• 11:16
Speaker 1: talked about that? How the SDNY throughout history has always
• 11:20
Speaker 1: been basically one of the better prosecutorial offices in the nation.
• 11:26
  Speaker 1: But now it's a joke. It's a mockery. It's a
• 11:29
Speaker 1: parody of itself. And we have Preet Bharara to thank.
• 11:35
Speaker 1: for that. We have Berman to thank for that. We
• 11:39
Speaker 1: have Maureen Comey to thank for that. And all of
• 11:42
Speaker 1: the other clowns that were using their office to try
• 11:45
Speaker 1: and play politics. Barr said that in lieu of Clayton's
• 11:52
Speaker 1: confirmation by the Senate, he himself recommended that Trump appoint
• 11:56
Speaker 1: Craig Carpenito, the U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey,
• 11:59
Speaker 1: to step in as acting SDNY U.S. Attorney. I'm not
• 12:03
Speaker 1: too familiar with Mr. Carpenito. I'll take a look a
• 12:08
Speaker 1: little bit deeper in to see who he is and
• 12:10
Speaker 1: see what he's about. But... I don't like any of this.
• 12:14
Speaker 1: I don't like any of this. This is so sudden
• 12:17
Speaker 1: and so out of the blue and on a Friday
• 12:20
Speaker 1: night in hopes that they could bury the story. It
• 12:23
Speaker 1: smacks of gross negligence. Barr said that Carpenito's appointment would
• 12:30
Speaker 1: be effective as of July 3rd and that he expected
• 12:33
Speaker 1: Berman to work with Carpenito to ensure a smooth transition.
• 12:37
Speaker 1: Barr thanked Berman and said the outgoing U.S. attorney for
• 12:40
Speaker 1: SDNY is stepping down after two and a half years
• 12:43
Speaker 1: of service as United States Attorney for the Southern District
• 12:46
Speaker 1: of New York. Well, I wonder, the cynic in me wonders,
• 12:52
Speaker 1: did Queen Elizabeth make a phone call to change this?
• 12:54
Speaker 1: Did Queen Elizabeth call in some favors and say, hey, look,
• 12:57
Speaker 1: we need to get somebody more favorable to old Joe
• 13:00
Speaker 1: Exotic of the Windsor family here? We're really getting crushed
• 13:03
Speaker 1: with this PR. I don't want to think like that, right?
• 13:08
Speaker 1: I know that's almost going down a road of conspiratorial nonsense,
• 13:13
Speaker 1: but at the same time, how can we be sure
• 13:16
Speaker 1: of anything at this point? There are a couple of
• 13:22
Speaker 1: problems with this. First of all, Berman, who donated to
• 13:25
Speaker 1: the Trump campaign in 2016, released a statement of his own,
• 13:30
Speaker 1: saying that he has no intention of stepping down and
• 13:32
Speaker 1: that he has not done so. So it's not like
• 13:35
Speaker 1: Berman came into office as this big anti-Trumper. And believe me, folks,
• 13:40
Speaker 1: there are a lot of them. I know the people
• 13:43
Speaker 1: on the left aren't going to want to hear it,
• 13:45
Speaker 1: but a lot of people have lost their minds living
• 13:49
Speaker 1: with their anti-Trump sentiments. A lot of people have gone overboard.
• 13:55
Speaker 1: You can criticize the guy and you can shit talk
• 13:59
Speaker 1: him and you can dislike him and all of that jazz.
• 14:03
Speaker 1: But the way some people have gone about this is
• 14:07
Speaker 1: not only detrimental to their own health, it's detrimental to
• 14:11
Speaker 1: their cause because they look like they have a bone
• 14:14
Speaker 1: to pick, right? An ax to grind as opposed to
• 14:17
Speaker 1: just trying to get to the truth. At the end
• 14:19
Speaker 1: of the day, folks, We just want to get to
• 14:22
Speaker 1: the truth. And if the Democrats and the left and
• 14:26
Speaker 1: the so-called resistance was really serious about doing that, they
• 14:30
Speaker 1: would have dug into the financials from the very beginning. Because, folks, again,
• 14:35
Speaker 1: I know a lot of you aren't going to want
• 14:37
Speaker 1: to hear this, but it's a fact. The whole entire
• 14:41
Speaker 1: Russia investigation was predicated on bullshit. Point blank, period. If
• 14:50
Speaker 1: we have anyone to blame at this point for giving
• 14:53
Speaker 1: us Trump and for giving us what we have now,
• 14:56
Speaker 1: it is the Democrats themselves. I learned in a press
• 15:05
Speaker 1: release from the Attorney General tonight that I was stepping
• 15:08
Speaker 1: down as United States Attorney, Berman said. I have not resigned,
• 15:12
Speaker 1: and I have no intention of resigning my position to
• 15:14
Speaker 1: which I was appointed by the judges of the United
• 15:16
Speaker 1: States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
• 15:20
Speaker 1: I will step down when a presidentially appointed nominee is
• 15:23
Speaker 1: confirmed by the Senate. Until then, our investigations will move
• 15:27
Speaker 1: forward without delay or interruption. I cherish every day that
• 15:31
Speaker 1: I work with the men and women in this office
• 15:33
Speaker 1: to pursue justice without fear or favor and intend to
• 15:37
Speaker 1: ensure that this office's important cases continue unimpeded. Berman, you're
• 15:42
Speaker 1: an absolute liar too, all right? If that was the case,
• 15:45
Speaker 1: you have all the evidence you need. Why aren't you
• 15:47
Speaker 1: going after Maxwell? Why hasn't she been arrested? What are
• 15:50
Speaker 1: you waiting for? Why hasn't Jean-Luc Brunel been arrested? What
• 15:54
Speaker 1: are you waiting for? Why are you engaging in petty
• 15:58
Speaker 1: politics from the bench? Berman's statement contained the second problem
• 16:04
Speaker 1: with the scenario. While the U.S. Senate will undoubtedly take
• 16:07
Speaker 1: up Clayton's nomination quickly and can likely ensure his installment
• 16:11
Speaker 1: on a party-line vote, Berman noted that he was appointed
• 16:14
Speaker 1: to his position by the U.S. District Court for the
• 16:17
Speaker 1: Southern District of New York, not the President. Again, look,
• 16:24
Speaker 1: I don't like any of this. And how the U.S.
• 16:27
Speaker 1: senators just rubber stamp some of these judges is really disturbing.
• 16:33
Speaker 1: And that goes for all administrations. Some of these people,
• 16:35
Speaker 1: some of these judges, and some of these appointees have
• 16:38
Speaker 1: no business whatsoever being in the positions they're in. And
• 16:41
Speaker 1: they get nominated by these senators. And I just, I
• 16:45
Speaker 1: shake my head. You look at the history of these
• 16:48
Speaker 1: people and you say, how in the hell are these
• 16:50
Speaker 1: people even nominated? Barr is one of them. Just like
• 16:53
Speaker 1: Eric Holder was another last administration. You see, folks, my
• 16:58
Speaker 1: rage is against the machine. That means all of them.
• 17:02
Speaker 1: All of these people are making our lives more difficult.
• 17:05
Speaker 1: All of these people are making it way too hard
• 17:09
Speaker 1: to pursue justice in this Jeffrey Epstein case. In 2018,
• 17:15
Speaker 1: then Attorney General Sessions first appointed Berman as interim SDNY U.S. Attorney.
• 17:21
Speaker 1: After the 120-day interim stint expired, the court appointed Berman
• 17:25
Speaker 1: to his current position. Trump never sent Berman's nomination to
• 17:29
Speaker 1: the Senate. Okay, so that's kind of interesting. Berman was
• 17:32
Speaker 1: never nominated by the Senate and confirmed by the Senate,
• 17:35
Speaker 1: I guess. And he was put in this position by the...
• 17:43
Speaker 1: The court appointed Berman to his position, not a nomination
• 17:46
Speaker 1: by the Senate. That's pretty interesting. I never even knew that,
• 17:48
Speaker 1: to be honest with you. The April 2018 court order
• 17:52
Speaker 1: said that Berman was appointed U.S. attorney unless the President
• 17:56
Speaker 1: of the United States nominates and the Senate confirms a
• 17:59
Speaker 1: United States attorney for this district. So it seems like
• 18:02
Speaker 1: Berman is hanging his hat on this statement here, and
• 18:06
Speaker 1: the order of the court... And to be honest with you,
• 18:09
Speaker 1: if this is what the court ordered, I would think
• 18:11
Speaker 1: that the Trump administration would have to jump through some
• 18:14
Speaker 1: hoops here to make things happen. Or, of course, they
• 18:17
Speaker 1: could just be ham-fisted like usual with Barr in charge
• 18:21
Speaker 1: and do whatever they want. I mean, you know, because
• 18:24
Speaker 1: that's pretty much the norm for every administration. So why should,
• 18:29
Speaker 1: you know, why should the Attorney General have to follow
• 18:32
Speaker 1: the laws, right? Those laws aren't for them. Those laws,
• 18:35
Speaker 1: they're only for me and you. The court cited to
• 18:40
Speaker 1: 28 U.S.C. 546D, which says, If an appointment expires under
• 18:47
Speaker 1: subsection C2, the district court for such district may appoint
• 18:51
Speaker 1: a United States attorney to serve until the vacancy is filled.
• 18:55
Speaker 1: The order of appointment by the court shall be filed
• 18:58
Speaker 1: with the clerk of the court. So what this is
• 19:02
Speaker 1: saying is that the court has the power to fill
• 19:05
Speaker 1: that role if the appointment expires under the subsection of C2.
• 19:12
Speaker 1: Then the court can fill the vacancy until the Senate
• 19:16
Speaker 1: appoints somebody. According to University of Texas law professor Stephen Vladek,
• 19:22
Speaker 1: there's a pretty good argument that, per the plain language
• 19:25
Speaker 1: of 28U. S. C. 546D, Berman gets to keep serving in that
• 19:31
Speaker 1: post until the vacancy is filled through Senate confirmation of
• 19:35
Speaker 1: a permanent successor. So he definitely has an argument here.
• 19:38
Speaker 1: Berman definitely has an argument here. But it really comes
• 19:41
Speaker 1: down to how ham-fisted and heavy-fisted Barr is going to be.
• 19:46
Speaker 1: And if the past is going to tell us anything
• 19:49
Speaker 1: about the future. we know that Barr is very, very ham-fisted. So,
• 19:55
Speaker 1: what we have gearing up here is a battle within
• 19:57
Speaker 1: the SDNY. Meanwhile... If they're busy battling and Berman's trying
• 20:21
Speaker 1: to fight for his professional life, how are they going
• 20:24
Speaker 1: to dedicate the proper amount of resources and the proper
• 20:27
Speaker 1: amount of time into bringing the survivors the justice they
• 20:31
Speaker 1: need and deserve? I can answer that. They won't. It'll
• 20:35
Speaker 1: be put on the back burner again. All because the
• 20:38
Speaker 1: two tribes have to have a fight. And guess who suffers?
• 20:43
Speaker 1: Once again, the little people. Once again, us. Georgetown University
• 20:51
Speaker 1: law professor Marty Lederman countered, however, that the DOJ's longstanding view,
• 20:56
Speaker 1: as expressed through the Office of Legal Counsel, is that
• 20:59
Speaker 1: the president can remove the court-appointed Berman while Barr can't.
• 21:04
Speaker 1: And I guess that makes sense, right? As the president,
• 21:07
Speaker 1: all of these people work for you. So I understand
• 21:10
Speaker 1: when a president comes in and he wants to bring
• 21:13
Speaker 1: in his own lawyers, his own prosecutors, I get that.
• 21:18
Speaker 1: But in the middle of an election season, five months
• 21:21
Speaker 1: out from an election, on a Friday night, Trump and
• 21:25
Speaker 1: Barr think that this is a good idea? I got
• 21:28
Speaker 1: news for you, it's not. It's right up there with
• 21:30
Speaker 1: your stupid ass idea of having Dershowitz come as one
• 21:33
Speaker 1: of your lawyers. Bad idea, bad optics, and terrible leadership.
• 21:42
Speaker 1: This response to your request concerning whether the power to
• 21:45
Speaker 1: remove a U.S. attorney appointed by a district court pursuant
• 21:49
Speaker 1: to 28U. S. C. 546 is vested in the president, the attorney general,
• 21:55
Speaker 1: or the appointing court. To our knowledge, the question is
• 21:58
Speaker 1: one of first impression. Pursuant to 28U. S. C. 541A, the President
• 22:05
Speaker 1: appoints U.S. Attorneys by and with the advice and consent
• 22:09
Speaker 1: of the Senate. Subsection C of that section provides that
• 22:13
Speaker 1: each United States Attorney is subject to removal by the President.
• 22:17
Speaker 1: The question is whether the president's removal power under subsection
• 22:21
Speaker 1: C extends to U.S. attorneys appointed by the court pursuant
• 22:26
Speaker 1: to 546 or whether they can be removed only by
• 22:30
Speaker 1: the court that appointed them. In our view, the first
• 22:33
Speaker 1: interpretation is the correct one. Whether the president should exercise
• 22:37
Speaker 1: the power of removal, of course, is a question of policy.
• 22:41
Speaker 1: We note in this connection that Kerry v. United States
• 22:44
Speaker 1: 132 CTCL. 397 1955 stands for the proposition that the President
• 22:51
Speaker 1: need not actually sign removal papers, but he may leave
• 22:55
Speaker 1: it to the Attorney General the implementation of an oral
• 22:58
Speaker 1: presidential decision to remove a U.S. Attorney appointed with the
• 23:02
Speaker 1: advice and consent of the Senate. Indeed. that the president
• 23:07
Speaker 1: may authorize the attorney general to do what he feels
• 23:09
Speaker 1: is warranted and then orally approve the action taken by
• 23:13
Speaker 1: the attorney general. Carry at 401-403.4, but we do not
• 23:19
Speaker 1: recommend this course of action in the situation at hand,
• 23:23
Speaker 1: since the incumbent U.S. attorney apparently has the backing of
• 23:26
Speaker 1: the district court. The court might react unfavorably to any
• 23:29
Speaker 1: action that does not carefully comport with the letter of
• 23:32
Speaker 1: the statute. That is a lot of legalese there, folks.
• 23:36
Speaker 1: And it's basically just explaining how Trump has the authority
• 23:40
Speaker 1: to do it, but in this situation, they certainly don't
• 23:44
Speaker 1: suggest that he does do it, considering the court is
• 23:46
Speaker 1: the one who appointed this man. So what we're doing
• 23:49
Speaker 1: here is we're gearing up for another fight along political lines,
• 23:54
Speaker 1: more tribalism, and less actual legal work into the Jeffrey
• 23:58
Speaker 1: Epstein case. I'll tell you folks, if it wasn't for
• 24:03
Speaker 1: all of you, and especially the brave survivors who have
• 24:06
Speaker 1: come forward and who have led this charge, we wouldn't
• 24:09
Speaker 1: be anywhere near where we're at now. And in fact,
• 24:11
Speaker 1: it looks like they're positioning themselves to try and forget
• 24:15
Speaker 1: about this case almost. Well, breaking news, we're not going
• 24:19
Speaker 1: to allow it. If I have to fly to New
• 24:22
Speaker 1: York and go and protest in front of the SDNY,
• 24:25
Speaker 1: then goddammit, that's what I'm going to do. I have
• 24:28
Speaker 1: had enough, folks. I have had enough, okay? I have
• 24:31
Speaker 1: had enough from both of them. Both sides of the aisle,
• 24:35
Speaker 1: I have had enough from all of them. I've had
• 24:37
Speaker 1: a belly full. New York law professor Ryan Goodman pointed
• 24:43
Speaker 1: to the United States v. Solomon case, which happens to
• 24:46
Speaker 1: have been decided in the SDNY. That decision noted that
• 24:50
Speaker 1: the president may at any time remove the judicially appointed
• 24:54
Speaker 1: United States attorney pursuant to 28U. S. C. 504, regardless of the
• 25:01
Speaker 1: nature of his appointment. Well, look, if there's precedent for
• 25:05
Speaker 1: this happening and the precedent has already happened within the SDNY,
• 25:09
Speaker 1: they will be hard pressed to fight this order. Regardless
• 25:13
Speaker 1: of who is right, it seems a politically charged legal
• 25:21
Speaker 1: fight could be brewing that could determine the future of
• 25:24
Speaker 1: certain sensitive investigations. That is a very important statement there.
• 25:29
Speaker 1: And folks, we have to hold these people accountable. We
• 25:32
Speaker 1: cannot let them shelf this investigation. And I'm telling you
• 25:37
Speaker 1: right now, Whatever we have to do to make sure
• 25:40
Speaker 1: that they listen to us is what we need to do.
• 25:43
Speaker 1: Because if they're trying and attempting to muddy the water
• 25:48
Speaker 1: some more, if they're attempting to make it so this
• 25:50
Speaker 1: case is not pursued, well, they're going to be in
• 25:53
Speaker 1: for the fight of their lives. Former SDNY U.S. Attorney
• 25:59
Speaker 1: Preet Bharara. This guy is such a tool, folks. Don't
• 26:03
Speaker 1: buy into anything about this dude. Preet Bharara was the
• 26:06
Speaker 1: beginning of the end for the SDNY, in my opinion.
• 26:09
  Speaker 1: The guy's a clown. He's not a very good lawyer.
• 26:13
Speaker 1: And remember, he is engaged in tribalism. Anything you hear
• 26:20
Speaker 1: from people engaging in tribalism, you must take with a
• 26:24
Speaker 1: bit of salt. Because at the end of the day,
• 26:29
Speaker 1: people who put their stupid-ass political party before the welfare
• 26:36
Speaker 1: of the nation and the welfare of the rule of
• 26:39
Speaker 1: law are part of the problem. Former SDNY U.S. Attorney
• 26:48
Speaker 1: Preet Bharat, who knows what it is like to be
• 26:51
Speaker 1: fired by President Trump, immediately raised the question, why does
• 26:55
Speaker 1: a president get rid of his own handpicked U.S. attorney
• 26:58
Speaker 1: and SDNY on a Friday night less than five months
• 27:01
Speaker 1: before the election? I agree with some of that. Why
• 27:05
Speaker 1: would he get rid of this guy five months before
• 27:06
Speaker 1: the election on a Friday night? Simple. Trump and Barr
• 27:10
Speaker 1: wanted to bury the news. Now, the other part here, though.
• 27:14
Speaker 1: Preet Bharat. is obviously another guy who is engaged in tribalism.
• 27:25
Speaker 1: He doesn't like Trump. He has never liked Trump. So
• 27:28
Speaker 1: what he has to say, I take with a grain
• 27:30
Speaker 1: of salt as well. All of these people are all
• 27:35
Speaker 1: trying to push their narrative forward. And guess what? If
• 27:37
Speaker 1: they have to gaslight you to get it done, then
• 27:40
Speaker 1: so be it. Because you do not matter to them.
• 27:44
Speaker 1: None of these people. Not on the left, not on
• 27:47
Speaker 1: the right. If you think Schumer cares about you any
• 27:49
Speaker 1: more than Mitch McConnell cares about you, you have not
• 27:53
Speaker 1: been paying attention. It is time for the electorate. It
• 28:00
Speaker 1: is time for the pitchforks and the torches to stop
• 28:03
Speaker 1: fighting with one another. It is time for everybody to
• 28:07
Speaker 1: come together and hold all of these elected officials accountable.
• 28:13
Speaker 1: And furthermore, it is time for the SDNY and the
• 28:18
Speaker 1: United States Department of Justice to arrest Ghislaine Maxwell. If
• 28:26
Speaker 1: you'd like to contact me, you can do that at
• 28:27
  Speaker 1: bobbycappucci at protonmail.com. That's B-O-B-B-Y-C-A-P-U-C-C-I at protonmail.com. You can also
• 28:36
Speaker 1: find me on Twitter at B-O-B-B-Y underscore C-A-P-U-C-C-I. Spencer Coven,
• 28:42
Speaker 1: who is a lawyer for some of the survivors, has
• 28:45
Speaker 1: come out and said that Berman has been fired because
• 28:50
Speaker 1: of the Andrew situation. Now... Personally, I'm not too sure
• 28:55
Speaker 1: one way or the other how much that dog hunts,
• 28:58
Speaker 1: but it is certainly a valid question, it is certainly
• 29:01
Speaker 1: something that should be discussed, and it is certainly something
• 29:04
Speaker 1: that should not just be dismissed out of hand. Considering
• 29:07
Speaker 1: the incredible power of the royal family in America still,
• 29:11
Speaker 1: I mean, look what they did with ABC. Roebuck got
• 29:14
Speaker 1: her interview squashed because they wanted to keep their access
• 29:18
Speaker 1: to the royals. So the Royals still have tremendous reach
• 29:23
Speaker 1: in the United States of America, tremendous power in the
• 29:27
Speaker 1: United States of America, and it sure looks like if
• 29:32
Speaker 1: you want to go down that road that you could
• 29:35
Speaker 1: make the case that they exerted some pressure on Barr
• 29:40
Speaker 1: to get Berman fired because of his behavior in public
• 29:44
Speaker 1: with Andrew. And that's certainly a very plausible road to travel. So,
• 29:50
Speaker 1: that's the road we're going to take today. This article,
• 29:55
Speaker 1: Toronto Sun. Author, Brad Hunter. Headline, lawyer claims Epstein prosecutor
• 30:03
Speaker 1: fired over demands to query Prince Andrew. Sex predator, pedophile,
• 30:10
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein threw a Hail Mary from the grave for
• 30:13
Speaker 1: his well-connected pals, including Prince Andrew. That's a pretty ominous
• 30:19
Speaker 1: way to open up the article, huh? So maybe it
• 30:24
Speaker 1: looks like Brad Hunter might be going off of the
• 30:27
Speaker 1: premise that this is true. From that first opening statement,
• 30:33
Speaker 1: it looks like Brad Hunter might be buying this. The
• 30:37
Speaker 1: lawyer for some of the billionaire's sex trafficking survivors is
• 30:40
Speaker 1: now claiming that lead prosecutor Jeffrey Berman, former U.S. attorney
• 30:44
Speaker 1: for the Southern District of New York, was fired because
• 30:47
Speaker 1: he demanded to interview Andrew. You know, under normal circumstances,
• 30:54
Speaker 1: like before I had the shades pulled back so I
• 30:57
Speaker 1: could see into the darkness of the room, I would
• 30:59
Speaker 1: have given this no thought whatsoever. I would have been like, yeah, okay, sure.
• 31:05
Speaker 1: They exerted pressure on the Justice Department to get Andrew
• 31:09
Speaker 1: out of the ringer. Sure, that's exactly what happened, right.
• 31:12
Speaker 1: But nowadays, considering how much malfeasance we see, considering how
• 31:17
Speaker 1: much corruption we see, considering how often we have seen
• 31:20
Speaker 1: it in this case, well, everything must be looked at clinically,
• 31:27
Speaker 1: and everything must be researched at this point. Because you just,
• 31:31
Speaker 1: it's impossible to... to know what is true and what
• 31:34
Speaker 1: is not true just from a scratch of the surface, right?
• 31:38
Speaker 1: You always have to dig deeper, especially, especially when it
• 31:43
Speaker 1: comes to this case in general. Spencer Coven described Berman's
• 31:49
Speaker 1: removal as highly suspect. I can get down with that,
• 31:52
Speaker 1: and I do agree with that. It was a very
• 31:54
Speaker 1: suspect move. And I don't care that Barr comes out
• 31:58
Speaker 1: with the damage control and starts in right away with the, oh, well,
• 32:03
Speaker 1: now anytime you make a personnel move, it's a conspiracy theory. Dude,
• 32:06
Speaker 1: you're like five months out from the election. It's a
• 32:09
Speaker 1: Friday night. This case has already been marred with all
• 32:13
Speaker 1: kinds of nonsense. and now all of a sudden you
• 32:16
Speaker 1: fire the prosecutor in charge of chasing down Jeffrey Epstein's co-conspirators,
• 32:23
Speaker 1: and you think people aren't going to have questions? People
• 32:26
Speaker 1: aren't going to expect a lucid response from you? Because
• 32:31
Speaker 1: we haven't gotten any of that. All we've heard is
• 32:33
Speaker 1: that you want to get your buddy in there from
• 32:36
Speaker 1: the SEC. So... How is anyone supposed to have any
• 32:43
Speaker 1: confidence in what you people are doing over there? You
• 32:45
Speaker 1: have no transparency whatsoever, you run it like it's your
• 32:49
Speaker 1: own fiefdom, and then all of a sudden everybody's just
• 32:51
Speaker 1: supposed to fall in line with what you have to say?
• 32:55
Speaker 1: Zero chance that ever happens, and I don't care who
• 32:59
Speaker 1: the president is or who the attorney general is. I
• 33:03
Speaker 1: will never blindly just listen to those in power. Ever.
• 33:09
Speaker 1: One of Epstein's survivors accused the royal of having sex
• 33:12
Speaker 1: with her three times when she was underage. Andrew and
• 33:15
Speaker 1: Buckingham Palace have denied the allegations. Oh, yeah. They definitely
• 33:20
Speaker 1: have denied the allegations. The question is, do you believe
• 33:23
Speaker 1: their denials? I know I certainly do not believe their denials.
• 33:26
Speaker 1: Not one bit. Everything they say out of Buckingham Palace,
• 33:30
Speaker 1: everything said by Prince Andrew, all BS in my opinion.
• 33:36
Speaker 1: All of it. Because... When you get right down to it, folks,
• 33:42
Speaker 1: this man has provided nothing in the way of evidence
• 33:45
Speaker 1: besides his sheisty-ass shady word. And that might go over
• 33:52
Speaker 1: with some of his lick-spittles, but the rest of the
• 33:55
Speaker 1: world needs proof. Last week, Berman claimed the Duke of York, a.k.a.
• 34:01
Speaker 1: Joe Exotic of the Windsor family, was obstructing justice by
• 34:05
Speaker 1: refusing to be interviewed by investigators. Coven hinted, that U.S.
• 34:10
Speaker 1: President Donald Trump was behind the firing. Well, that's a fact.
• 34:15
Speaker 1: Donald Trump was behind the firing. He was the one
• 34:17
Speaker 1: who signed off on it. He's the only one that
• 34:19
Speaker 1: can make this happen. But at the same time, I don't,
• 34:23
Speaker 1: you know, we're taking a big leap here, right? We're
• 34:29
Speaker 1: saying that it was because of this Andrew situation. Now, again,
• 34:34
Speaker 1: it is very possible, folks, very possible that that is
• 34:37
Speaker 1: why This man was fired. I don't know. For sure
• 34:43
Speaker 1: one way or the other. But again it is certainly something.
• 34:45
Speaker 1: That must be explored. And the fact of the matter is.
• 34:51
Speaker 1: Trump and Barr. Have not answered correctly. For the reasoning
• 34:54
Speaker 1: behind this firing. Now don't get like I've said. I've
• 34:57
Speaker 1: made it very clear. All of these people. Serve at
• 35:00
Speaker 1: the discretion of the president. Within the executive branch. Point
• 35:04
Speaker 1: blank period. But at the same time. The public deserves
• 35:09
Speaker 1: some reasoning behind why somebody gets fired, especially in a
• 35:13
Speaker 1: contentious situation such as this. And Barr and Trump and
• 35:18
Speaker 1: the current administration, they don't want to have any transparency
• 35:21
Speaker 1: no more than Eric Holder and Obama wanted to have
• 35:24
Speaker 1: any transparency. Like I always say, folks, meet the new boss,
• 35:30
Speaker 1: same as the old boss. The timing of this is
• 35:37
Speaker 1: highly suspect for an internal favor having been requested by
• 35:40
Speaker 1: the president, Coven told the UK Sun, and now, all
• 35:44
Speaker 1: of a sudden, the one man that's been pushing for
• 35:46
Speaker 1: those requests has been fired for no reason. Well, that's
• 35:51
Speaker 1: all fine and well, but again, we're not going to
• 35:53
Speaker 1: make Berman a martyr here on the podcast. He's had
• 35:57
Speaker 1: two years to go after these people. A year at
• 36:01
Speaker 1: the very least, and we don't have any arrests except
• 36:03
Speaker 1: for the two lowly Jail guards. So let's not make
• 36:08
Speaker 1: Berman a martyr here. Let's try and, you know, pick
• 36:12
Speaker 1: our way through this situation and get down to, you know,
• 36:16
Speaker 1: the weeds and figure out what exactly occurred. Because I'll
• 36:20
Speaker 1: tell you this much right now. Berman was not advancing justice,
• 36:23
Speaker 1: in my opinion. I'm not upset because Berman was fired.
• 36:29
Speaker 1: I'm upset for the way it went down. I'm upset because,
• 36:32
Speaker 1: once again, there is no transparency. And I am upset because,
• 36:36
Speaker 1: once again, there seems to be no game plan and
• 36:40
Speaker 1: no justice for these survivors. Get it together, bar! He added,
• 36:50
Speaker 1: we know that U.S. Attorney Berman was heavily investigating and
• 36:54
Speaker 1: pushing the investigation into the Epstein case, which included repeated
• 36:58
Speaker 1: requests to interview Prince Andrew. And again, I'll give Berman
• 37:04
Speaker 1: his credit for initiating the Andrew situation for sure. Somebody
• 37:09
Speaker 1: had to call this guy out. So I'll definitely give
• 37:12
Speaker 1: Berman the credit for that. But let's remember, Berman might
• 37:16
Speaker 1: be gone. But his chief, Audrey Strauss, is the one
• 37:19
Speaker 1: in charge of these investigations now. And Audrey Strauss is
• 37:23
Speaker 1: certainly no friend to the president. So there is still
• 37:28
Speaker 1: that bulwark there, right? She is certainly not a friend
• 37:31
Speaker 1: of the president. She is not a friend of Barr.
• 37:34
Speaker 1: And according to everything that I've read, she is going
• 37:37
Speaker 1: to continue to pursue these cases. Now, that's all fine
• 37:41
Speaker 1: and well, and it's nice to give the hoorah kind
• 37:44
Speaker 1: of speech, right? Get everyone fired up that she's going
• 37:47
Speaker 1: to continue with the cases, blah, blah, blah. But when
• 37:50
Speaker 1: you have somebody like Darth Barr involved, I don't have
• 37:54
Speaker 1: any confidence that this case is going to go anywhere
• 37:56
Speaker 1: at this point. It really seems to me like Barr
• 37:59
Speaker 1: is trying to muddy the waters. And you have to
• 38:04
Speaker 1: ask yourself, why the hell would he be doing that?
• 38:12
Speaker 1: We know that Prince Andrew lied when he said that
• 38:14
Speaker 1: he had been cooperative because U.S. Attorney Berman came out
• 38:17
Speaker 1: and said that he was lying and that he had
• 38:19
Speaker 1: not contacted them and did not want to be part
• 38:22
Speaker 1: of that interview. And again, the Scorpion, right? Who do
• 38:26
Speaker 1: we believe here? Who do we trust? I know from
• 38:28
Speaker 1: my own personal dealings with the Department of Justice that
• 38:31
Speaker 1: they can't be trusted. They lie. They will do anything
• 38:35
Speaker 1: to get that conviction for normal people. They will litigate
• 38:38
Speaker 1: you into the poorhouse. They will go after your family.
• 38:41
Speaker 1: They will seize the home that your mother is living in.
• 38:43
Speaker 1: They do not give a damn. Unless, of course, you're
• 38:47
Speaker 1: one of Jeffrey Epstein's sex traffickers. Eh, just run around
• 38:50
Speaker 1: and do whatever you want, then. The two names on
• 38:54
Speaker 1: investigators' wish lists are Andrew and Epstein's notorious gal pal
• 38:59
Speaker 1: and alleged pimp, co-conspirator, child molester, etc., etc., Ghislaine Maxwell.
• 39:06
Speaker 1: We also know that President Trump has a very close
• 39:08
Speaker 1: relationship with the British Prime Minister, and there have been
• 39:11
Speaker 1: requests that have been made in the past by our
• 39:14
Speaker 1: president to back off international prosecutions, Coven said. And there's definitely,
• 39:20
Speaker 1: there's legs there. We see what's going on with Julian Assange,
• 39:24
Speaker 1: the illegal keeping of Julian Assange in prison. We know
• 39:31
Speaker 1: that the US and the UK authorities conspire to do
• 39:35
Speaker 1: this shit all the time. You would have to be
• 39:38
Speaker 1: naive to think that the relationship between the United States
• 39:42
Speaker 1: and the UK is not one that is of complete
• 39:46
Speaker 1: cooperation for the most part, because it is. So, you know,
• 39:55
Speaker 1: it definitely, look, it is not out of the realm
• 39:57
Speaker 1: of possibility that pressure was put on Berman to stop
• 40:02
Speaker 1: talking about Andrew. Berman did not comply and therefore Berman
• 40:07
Speaker 1: was sacked. That is, it is possible. There's no doubt
• 40:10
Speaker 1: about it, folks. But we don't know one way or
• 40:12
Speaker 1: the other, right? It's not what we know. It's what
• 40:14
Speaker 1: we can prove. Berman resigned Friday after resisting efforts by U.S.
• 40:23
Speaker 1: Attorney General Darth William Barr to make him quit. Then
• 40:27
Speaker 1: said he was not resigning until a replacement had been
• 40:30
Speaker 1: named by Trump. So it was a shitshow, there's no doubt. Look,
• 40:33
Speaker 1: Berman is not the kind of guy that, again, should
• 40:36
  Speaker 1: be made a martyr. He's not a good guy. He's
• 40:38
Speaker 1: not the kind of person that I would want in
• 40:41
Speaker 1: charge of any of these cases, to be honest with you. But...
• 40:44
Speaker 1: At the end of the day, we have to question
• 40:47
Speaker 1: why he was sacked the way he was, why he
• 40:49
Speaker 1: was canned the way he was, and the timing of
• 40:52
Speaker 1: it is exceptionally odd. Barr, who had family connections to
• 41:00
Speaker 1: the twisted Epstein, then asked Trump to give Berman the boot.
• 41:03
Speaker 1: Trump denied being behind Berman's removal. Barr should recuse himself
• 41:08
Speaker 1: from everything Epstein related. If he had just a single
• 41:12
Speaker 1: bit of integrity, that's what he would do. But he won't.
• 41:16
Speaker 1: He'll keep his fingers in the pie. He'll keep things
• 41:18
Speaker 1: muddied up. And the band will continue to play on.
• 41:24
Speaker 1: My clients see this as yet another attempt by the
• 41:26
Speaker 1: system to deny them justice with respect to the co-conspirators
• 41:30
Speaker 1: involved in their abuse, Coven said. And I can totally
• 41:33
Speaker 1: see how the survivors would feel like that, right? Again,
• 41:35
Speaker 1: feeling like they've been taken advantage of. Feel like they've
• 41:39
Speaker 1: been abandoned. And they have every right in the world
• 41:44
Speaker 1: to feel like that. Imagine being one of these girls
• 41:47
Speaker 1: and seeing this shitshow take place. That'd be out of
• 41:51
Speaker 1: my mind as well. The problem is that Prince Andrew,
• 41:56
Speaker 1: aka the Joe Exotic of the Windsor family, I'm not
• 42:00
Speaker 1: even saying that he has direct involvement. All I'm saying
• 42:04
Speaker 1: is he knows the people who were directly involved. We
• 42:08
Speaker 1: know Ghislaine Maxwell was a co-conspirator when it came to
• 42:10
Speaker 1: Epstein's actions. My clients have confirmed that she was integrally
• 42:15
Speaker 1: involved with the process of recruiting young girls for Mr. Epstein.
• 42:21
Speaker 1: How much more clear does it need to be? How
• 42:24
Speaker 1: much more evidence needs to come forth? Because I'm telling
• 42:27
Speaker 1: you guys right now, if this was me or you
• 42:30
Speaker 1: or anyone you know, we'd already be arrested. How is
• 42:33
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell still living the high life? It is a
• 42:38
Speaker 1: question for the ages. Meanwhile, Epstein survivors can now file
• 42:44
Speaker 1: claims against the $ 1 billion estate through an out-of-court program.
• 42:49
Speaker 1: According to the New York Daily News, the Epstein Survivors
• 42:52
Speaker 1: Compensation Program is expecting more than 70 women will make claims.
• 42:57
Speaker 1: I've seen reports of 100 now, and good for them.
• 43:01
Speaker 1: Make these women as right as possible when it comes
• 43:04
Speaker 1: to financial means. Back up the Brinks truck right on
• 43:07
Speaker 1: their lawn, open it up, and dump it out. The
• 43:12
Speaker 1: program provides survivors of Jeffrey Epstein the opportunity to be
• 43:15
Speaker 1: heard outside the glare of public courtroom proceedings and to
• 43:21
Speaker 1: receive acknowledgement by an independent third party as to the
• 43:25
Speaker 1: legitimacy of their experience and the long-term suffering it has wrought,
• 43:30
Speaker 1: independent administrator Jordana Feldman said in a release. And that's
• 43:35
Speaker 1: a big deal for me because what it does is
• 43:40
Speaker 1: the estate is taking responsibility for what happened. They're saying
• 43:43
Speaker 1: that this happened, these girls' pain is real, and what
• 43:47
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein did was heinous. So that's a big deal
• 43:50
Speaker 1: for me, folks. I think it's a huge deal as
• 43:54
Speaker 1: far as advancing justice as well. Epstein, 66, died mysteriously
• 44:01
Speaker 1: in his New York jail cell last August while awaiting
• 44:04
Speaker 1: trial for sex trafficking. Alright, so, there's that theory. According
• 44:13
Speaker 1: to Spencer Coven, he thinks it's very possible that Berman
• 44:16
Speaker 1: was sacked because Andrew was being pressured. Is that the truth?
• 44:24
Speaker 1: I don't know. But it most certainly is. is worthy
• 44:27
Speaker 1: of discussion. If you'd like to contact me, you can
• 44:31
