- 0:16Speaker 2: It's the one and only dog, y'all. The classiest ass,
- 0:18Speaker 2: the big Snoopy Deagle Double Jizzle. In your face to
- 0:20Speaker 2: me and in the place to be.
- 0:22Speaker 5: And you're listening to John Jay and Rich.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Wake your ass up. Hi, Rich. Today's national what?
- 0:27Speaker 2: Today is National Coffee Day. It's a big one. September 29th, U.S.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Coffee Day. Also, not to be outdone by just regular coffee,
- 0:36Speaker 2: it's National Mocha Day, too.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Oh, yum.
- 0:39Speaker 2: It's also National Biscotti Day, which I think those all
- 0:41Speaker 2: go nice together, don't you?
- 0:43Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. We have a very special guest in the studio.
- 0:46Speaker 3: From Team.
- 0:50Speaker 6: Moms Baseball on Paramount Plus, which is shot here in town,
- 0:54Speaker 6: we have Nina.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Scafoni in the studio.
- 0:57Speaker 3: So thanks for jumping in with us.
- 0:58Speaker 7: Yeah, thanks for having me.
- 0:59Speaker 3: What's the feedback been so far?
- 1:01Speaker 7: Overall, good, I feel like. Mixed reviews.
- 1:04Speaker 8: I mean, you definitely have some haters, especially when you're
- 1:06Speaker 8: like me and people see what I do on TV.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Do you feel like that's you, 100%? You know what?
- 1:15Speaker 8: I'm glad you asked because, yes, 100% watching it back,
- 1:18Speaker 8: I'm like, they did such a good job because that's me.
- 1:20Speaker 8: That's my personality. And I can't hate on that, right?
- 1:23Speaker 8: Because I would snoop around anyone's house.
- 1:25Speaker 2: What do you think people get wrong about you, Nina?
- 1:29Speaker 9: Um.
- 1:31Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 1:32Speaker 8: I think, well, I say it in the show. Like I'm,
- 1:35Speaker 8: I'm loud. I could be obnoxious. Like, I think that
- 1:37Speaker 8: might be a turnoff for some people.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Well, I like that.
- 1:40Speaker 6: From what I've seen, I watched the first two episodes
- 1:42Speaker 6: and then I skipped to the last episode.
- 1:44Speaker 7: Oh yeah.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:45Speaker 7: You're like, okay, this little bitch comments carrying on. Let's
- 1:48Speaker 7: just go.
- 1:48Speaker 3: I can't believe how far it went.
- 1:50Speaker 6: But I was actually interested in the first episode where
- 1:53Speaker 6: you get called in and, um, I carry you, you
- 1:57Speaker 6: had a problem.
- 1:58Speaker 3: What was the problem? You had a problem. You, Was
- 2:01Speaker 3: that the little bitch thing? You said, stop being a
- 2:02Speaker 3: little bitch?
- 2:02Speaker 10: No, I mean, no.
- 2:03Speaker 7: You got mad at that. I call the coach a punk.
- 2:05Speaker 3: You call the coach a punk?
- 2:06Speaker 7: I'm just throwing out hate insults everywhere.
- 2:08Speaker 11: Well, that's because Rocco, her son, got bullied. And, like,
- 2:12Speaker 11: you didn't like how they handled it.
- 2:13Speaker 8: No, girl, you're mixing it all up. You're mixing up
- 2:15Speaker 8: the little bitch with the punk comment.
- 2:17Speaker 7: Okay, wait, wait, wait.
- 2:18Speaker 6: The first episode, you're called in because you had a problem.
- 2:21Speaker 6: You said, look, you can train my boy hard. You
- 2:23Speaker 6: be as tough as you want to be on him.
- 2:25Speaker 6: But then at the same time, you were like... Hey, wait,
- 2:27Speaker 6: you were a little too rough on him.
- 2:28Speaker 7: Yeah, I know.
- 2:30Speaker 12: I know.
- 2:30Speaker 3: I was like, wait a minute.
- 2:31Speaker 8: Editing at its finest because there was so much more.
- 2:35Speaker 7: To that story.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Okay, good.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Because I was like, is this woman crazy?
- 2:38Speaker 10: I know.
- 2:39Speaker 3: You do what you got to do to my kid.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Toughen him up.
- 2:41Speaker 7: Hey, you were a little too hard. Yeah, exactly.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Before you go, though, I want you to call us
- 2:45Speaker 2: all little bitches because we need that.
- 2:47Speaker 7: Oh, I will 100% do that. Hashtag.
- 2:49Speaker 2: You said the only true thing that I was screaming
- 2:52Speaker 2: at the TV the whole time where you're like, People
- 2:55Speaker 2: need to lighten up on their kids. There's like a
- 2:57Speaker 2: zero zero point three chance that you're going into the majors.
- 3:00Speaker 13: I know.
- 3:01Speaker 2: But it definitely seems like the other moms on that
- 3:04Speaker 2: show do not follow that. That's like, here's what we do.
- 3:07Speaker 2: We don't have fun. We train for the the majors
- 3:10Speaker 2: right now. And there's nothing in their heads that you
- 3:13Speaker 2: go to college and then after college, you're kind of done.
- 3:15Speaker 14: I know.
- 3:15Speaker 8: And I think that's an important thing is like Rocco
- 3:18Speaker 8: loves baseball now. Well, do we know if Rocco is
- 3:20Speaker 8: going to love baseball five years from now? We're supporting
- 3:22Speaker 8: his dream right now. Of course, we all hope that
- 3:26Speaker 8: he is successful and he makes it to the big time.
- 3:28Speaker 8: But like to like over, I don't know, promise something
- 3:32Speaker 8: and then under deliver it. I feel like you're just
- 3:34Speaker 8: setting your kid up for failure.
- 3:36Speaker 6: Let me ask you about the process of how the
- 3:37Speaker 6: show started because you were, you joined LPA and then
- 3:41Speaker 6: does Will sit all the parents down and go, we
- 3:43Speaker 6: have a reality show that wants to film us.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Does it work? How does it work?
- 3:47Speaker 7: I wasn't supposed to be on the show to tell
- 3:49Speaker 7: you the truth.
- 3:49Speaker 2: You weren't.
- 3:50Speaker 3: How come?
- 3:50Speaker 8: I was supposed to be what they called supporting cast.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Okay.
- 3:54Speaker 8: And then this little bitch comment got out, and the
- 3:57Speaker 8: producers were like, we need to meet her.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. There's no show without you.
- 4:01Speaker 6: But at some point, I mean, there's a meeting with everybody. Hey,
- 4:04Speaker 6: we're going to be doing a reality show.
- 4:05Speaker 11: If you want to be in it, you're in.
- 4:07Speaker 15: You know Will.
- 4:07Speaker 7: He's just kind of laid back.
- 4:09Speaker 8: He's a laid back dude, and he's like, hey, we're
- 4:11Speaker 8: filming a reality show, and you should be in it, or.
- 4:14Speaker 7: You should talk to the producers. And we're like, cool,
- 4:16Speaker 7: let's talk.
- 4:16Speaker 8: We didn't know it was as big as it is.
- 4:20Speaker 3: At what point did you find out Kim Kardashian was involved?
- 4:24Speaker 8: I think right before we started filming. But then we
- 4:27Speaker 8: still didn't know. We were still very much like, oh,
- 4:30Speaker 8: this is a documentary.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Oh, a docu-series, not a reality show.
- 4:33Speaker 8: And then as things started progressing, we were like, I
- 4:36Speaker 8: actually quit the first week. I was like, I am
- 4:38Speaker 8: not cut out for this. I can't do this. And
- 4:40Speaker 8: then I came back.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Did they have you retake stuff? I do this again.
- 4:43Speaker 3: We're at the.
- 4:44Speaker 8: no actually like that's why in the first episode you
- 4:46Speaker 8: don't really see me very much.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Because you're the you're the first thing we see i
- 4:51Speaker 3: know but i think.
- 4:51Speaker 8: Maybe it's the second episode but i'm not really in
- 4:53Speaker 8: it as much because there was like a week there
- 4:55Speaker 8: where i had like a full-on anxiety attack and had
- 4:58Speaker 8: to be like taken like yeah.
- 4:59Speaker 11: But you don't seem like okay so peyton and i
- 5:01Speaker 11: went to like the official watch party and nina was
- 5:04Speaker 11: there and trina was there and scott was there and
- 5:06Speaker 11: like like heather was there there was like all like
- 5:08Speaker 11: the cast was there yeah minus oh yeah people we
- 5:12Speaker 11: didn't want there we uninvited but um But.
- 5:15Speaker 2: It was like on the show, too. It's in stride.
- 5:17Speaker 11: You like instantly see that like you like Nina is
- 5:20Speaker 11: who she is on the show. Like I could see
- 5:22Speaker 11: that right away.
- 5:22Speaker 7: I don't know if you could.
- 5:23Speaker 11: I mean, obviously it was like like we were laughing
- 5:25Speaker 11: with you.
- 5:27Speaker 15: Just completely yourself.
- 5:28Speaker 11: And to me, it's like I don't think you are
- 5:31Speaker 11: like doesn't seem like you're the type of person to
- 5:32Speaker 11: be scared of anything or like that you would be
- 5:34Speaker 11: like put off by that.
- 5:35Speaker 8: Well, I think you just reached a point in your
- 5:36Speaker 8: adulthood where you're like, OK, like I like I'm I
- 5:40Speaker 8: am not for everyone. And so that was part of
- 5:42Speaker 8: like me being scared and like quitting the show. And
- 5:45Speaker 8: I sat down and I had a long talk with
- 5:46Speaker 8: my husband and he was like, listen, if you're going
- 5:48Speaker 8: to do this. You just got to be yourself. Like,
- 5:50Speaker 8: just be who you are and, like, let people form
- 5:53Speaker 8: their opinions about you. And so we were like, well,
- 5:56Speaker 8: screw it. Let's just do it.
- 5:57Speaker 11: Okay, Nina, from Team Moms Baseball, I have to know,
- 6:00Speaker 11: because we haven't signed on for a season two yet.
- 6:03Speaker 11: We do know the season ended at the end of, like,
- 6:06Speaker 11: the school year. But now the new school year is already, like—
- 6:09Speaker 11: It's in. It's happening right now. So is it really
- 6:11Speaker 11: uncomfortable at LPA? No.
- 6:14Speaker 8: I mean, that's what's great about LPA is we just
- 6:16Speaker 8: drop our kids off. We don't really have to see anyone.
- 6:18Speaker 7: It's not like there haven't been any events or games
- 6:20Speaker 7: where you're like... There was.
- 6:21Speaker 8: A parent meeting at the beginning of the year, but
- 6:25Speaker 8: everyone just acts like adults for the most part.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Okay, but you know, you dropped some pretty... heavy science
- 6:31Speaker 2: on some people there that maybe they didn't see until
- 6:33Speaker 2: the show came out when you're calling, you know, like
- 6:35Speaker 2: maybe some people you're like, if you're nice to them,
- 6:38Speaker 2: they're nice, but maybe they might be a phony baloney inside. Like,
- 6:41Speaker 2: do they not know about that until that airs? And
- 6:43Speaker 2: then you have to deal with them like this week, right?
- 6:46Speaker 8: Yeah but like Come have a conversation with me Like
- 6:48Speaker 8: let's Let's hash it out I'm all about like respect
- 6:51Speaker 8: If you want to have a conversation You could disagree
- 6:53Speaker 8: with me And we will have a like Respectful conversation
- 6:55Speaker 8: Like you saw in the show And we'll move on
- 6:57Speaker 8: And we'll be friends And Trina ends up being One
- 6:59Speaker 8: of my really good friends.
- 7:00Speaker 3: So Did you pay Did you get paid to be
- 7:02Speaker 3: on the show Am I.
- 7:03Speaker 7: Allowed to talk about that?
- 7:06Speaker 11: I don't know.
- 7:08Speaker 7: Next question.
- 7:09Speaker 11: It could just be yes or no, like not a
- 7:12Speaker 11: dollar amount.
- 7:13Speaker 3: You're a very interesting person. I can see why they
- 7:15Speaker 3: cast you.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Pilates every day? Pilates every day.
- 7:17Speaker 7: When I can. I haven't been to my school.
- 7:19Speaker 2: She's busy, Rich.
- 7:22Speaker 3: You have Pilates teachers.
- 7:24Speaker 7: Yeah, my girls are the best. They hold it down
- 7:26Speaker 7: for me.
- 7:26Speaker 6: So how do people get a hold of Foreign Pilates
- 7:28Speaker 6: if they want to go?
- 7:28Speaker 3: Is it just foreignpilates.com?
- 7:31Speaker 7: Foreignpilates.com, 480-400-8400.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Good.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Well, we want to thank you for popping in.
- 7:36Speaker 7: Thank you so much for having me.
- 7:37Speaker 3: It's fun to watch.
- 7:38Speaker 7: I appreciate it, yeah. Time for Payne's Predictions.
- 7:46Speaker 6: We have a special guest in the studio for our
- 7:49Speaker 6: horoscope segment.
- 7:50Speaker 3: We have Nina from Team Moms Baseball.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Thanks, guys.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Excited to be here. Payne, what is the vibe today?
- 7:56Speaker 15: Well, it's actually perfect.
- 7:57Speaker 4: That Nina's in the studio because if you've watched Team
- 8:00Speaker 4: Moms Baseball, you know that she likes to have a conversation.
- 8:04Speaker 4: So I'm going to tell you how your zodiac sign
- 8:06Speaker 4: acts when you get hit with that late night we
- 8:08Speaker 4: need to talk text. If it's your birthday today, you
- 8:11Speaker 4: are a Libra. You share a birthday with Halsey, Kevin Durant,
- 8:14Speaker 4: Iris Kendall from Love Island, and Chrissy Metz.
- 8:16Speaker 3: So you said we need talk?
- 8:18Speaker 15: We need talk.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Okay, we need talk. All right, hold on.
- 8:20Speaker 15: That's for another time.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Jacinta, good morning.
- 8:23Speaker 10: Hello.
- 8:24Speaker 3: What's your sign? Good morning.
- 8:25Speaker 10: I am in Aries.
- 8:27Speaker 4: Okay, Aries, when you guys get that late night we
- 8:29Speaker 4: need to talk text, you do not wait for the
- 8:32Speaker 4: morning to handle business. The second that those words hit
- 8:35Speaker 4: your screen, you are hitting FaceTime immediately with zero warning,
- 8:39Speaker 4: demanding to know what the problem is right now because
- 8:41Speaker 4: you refuse to lose sleep over someone else's mood.
- 8:44Speaker 3: Yeah, that pretty much sucks.
- 8:45Speaker 7: 100%. She's like, yep.
- 8:47Speaker 5: I'm like, yes.
- 8:49Speaker 13: Say less.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Have a great day. Thank you for listening.
- 8:52Speaker 16: Thank you.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Hi, Daisy. Good morning. What's your sign?
- 8:55Speaker 2: I am a Leo.
- 8:57Speaker 6: Oh, perfect.
- 8:57Speaker 15: Just like me, Daisy.
- 8:59Speaker 16: Okay.
- 8:59Speaker 4: So us Leos, when we get that late night, we
- 9:01Speaker 4: need to talk text. Our ego actually takes it as
- 9:04Speaker 4: a personal insult. We don't ask what's wrong. We're just
- 9:06Speaker 4: going to hit him back with like an okay, you're
- 9:08Speaker 4: mad about what again? Just to make sure that they
- 9:10Speaker 4: know whatever heavy energy they're bringing isn't going to rattle
- 9:13Speaker 4: us for a second.
- 9:14Speaker 2: That's good, actually.
- 9:15Speaker 17: Especially in the middle of the night.
- 9:18Speaker 13: Like, absolutely not.
- 9:19Speaker 15: Exactly.
- 9:19Speaker 7: How rude.
- 9:20Speaker 4: You're trying to disrupt my peace.
- 9:23Speaker 15: You can be out of my life.
- 9:24Speaker 16: Bye.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 9:26Speaker 4: Bye.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Thanks, Daisy.
- 9:28Speaker 15: Thank you, guys.
- 9:29Speaker 14: Bye.
- 9:30Speaker 6: So Nina is here from Baseball Moms, Teen Moms Baseball.
- 9:33Speaker 3: What is your sign?
- 9:35Speaker 7: I am a Taurus. Give it to me, girl.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Wait, wait, wait.
- 9:38Speaker 6: Let me ask you this because I brought up you
- 9:40Speaker 6: earlier and everybody here knew your sign. Is there an
- 9:42Speaker 6: episode about your sign?
- 9:44Speaker 8: There's a whole scene about, there's a whole episode.
- 9:47Speaker 11: Yes, yes.
- 9:48Speaker 7: There's like two. There's like two episodes. We just, I
- 9:53Speaker 7: can't believe.
- 9:54Speaker 2: You didn't watch it.
- 9:55Speaker 7: I am disappointed.
- 9:57Speaker 6: I watched the first two episodes and I was like,
- 10:00Speaker 6: was like oh my god she's in the studio i
- 10:01Speaker 6: better watch let me catch up and see if i
- 10:03Speaker 6: see a cliffhanger yeah i will watch it by the
- 10:06Speaker 6: way i'm a big fan of the intro i think
- 10:09Speaker 6: it's really cool the way it shows the boys in
- 10:10Speaker 6: the song.
- 10:11Speaker 7: Oh and they're like gowns we got a lot of
- 10:13Speaker 7: heat for.
- 10:13Speaker 3: The music I thought it was cool too. Go ahead,
- 10:18Speaker 3: paint her sign.
- 10:19Speaker 4: Okay, so Nina, when you get that we need to
- 10:22Speaker 4: talk text, you are going to read it, you're going
- 10:23Speaker 4: to put your phone on do not disturb, and then
- 10:25Speaker 4: you're ordering late night takeout because you refuse to engage
- 10:28Speaker 4: in high stress drama on an empty stomach or past nine,
- 10:31Speaker 4: and you are fully content on letting them burn in
- 10:34Speaker 4: silence until you decide that you're ready to care.
- 10:36Speaker 8: Girl, that's like literally what's going on right now.
- 10:38Speaker 7: Burn, baby. You just do your thing on TikTok.
- 10:40Speaker 8: I'm going to sit right here and just watch it
- 10:44Speaker 8: burn down.
- 10:45Speaker 6: Your we need to talk thing reminds me. Wasn't that
- 10:46Speaker 6: the episode where it was like, was that you that
- 10:48Speaker 6: would sit down? We need to talk. Do you own
- 10:50Speaker 6: your house or not?
- 10:53Speaker 3: Was that you? No, that wasn't.
- 10:54Speaker 7: Did I even say that? You weren't one of those girls.
- 10:56Speaker 3: There was the two girls that had the conversation with
- 10:58Speaker 3: one of the moms. No, that wasn't. Do you own
- 11:00Speaker 3: your house or you don't own your house? Is it
- 11:01Speaker 3: Airbnb or not?
- 11:02Speaker 2: We need to know.
- 11:03Speaker 7: That was Trina and Aaron.
- 11:05Speaker 4: Any confrontation on the show you think is Nina.
- 11:07Speaker 3: I do.
- 11:08Speaker 5: I mean, it kind of tracks.
- 11:10Speaker 7: You can't blame him.
- 11:12Speaker 6: At this point for me, Nina was the breakout star.
- 11:14Speaker 6: There was another person on the show. There's one girl
- 11:17Speaker 6: on there. I can't remember her name yet. She's a blonde.
- 11:19Speaker 3: Maybe she's behind the scenes, but I thought she was very,
- 11:21Speaker 3: very pretty, but I don't know her.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Trina? Trina Mears?
- 11:24Speaker 14: Trish.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Trish Mears.
- 11:25Speaker 7: Trish Mears.
- 11:26Speaker 3: I'm not sure. Also, wait a second.
- 11:27Speaker 7: We don't talk about.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Trish with Nina.
- 11:28Speaker 7: You know when you guys were in the lesbian bar?
- 11:31Speaker 3: There was a girl, one of the girls that was
- 11:33Speaker 3: in the lesbian bar.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Boycott? Boycott.
- 11:36Speaker 3: She was familiar to me outside of the TV show.
- 11:38Speaker 2: I think we've met her. I think we've met her
- 11:40Speaker 2: at one of our... I think her and her girlfriend
- 11:42Speaker 2: or wife at the time.
- 11:43Speaker 15: It's her wife.
- 11:44Speaker 5: It's her brain.
- 11:44Speaker 15: It's Shana.
- 11:46Speaker 7: They were at the party.
- 11:48Speaker 8: Yes.
- 11:48Speaker 7: They are the coolest chicks ever.
- 11:50Speaker 2: We met them at Culinary Dropout. We were at a
- 11:51Speaker 2: party and they came up and talked to us for
- 11:53Speaker 2: a long time.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Oh, I knew it. They were so familiar to me.
- 11:56Speaker 3: I was like.
- 11:57Speaker 2: I was all excited about the people that we knew
- 11:59Speaker 2: when we were watching the show. Like, we know them.
- 12:01Speaker 11: They're so fun.
- 12:02Speaker 7: They're so fun.
- 12:03Speaker 4: And like, fun fact about that, one of my best
- 12:05Speaker 4: friends is dating the girl that Heather hit it off
- 12:08Speaker 4: with at that bar.
- 12:09Speaker 15: They're like now together. So I was like, I know
- 12:11Speaker 15: everyone in this room and I'm loving it.
- 12:13Speaker 2: I love that. Yeah.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Okay, let's do Kyle. Kyle's a Libra.
- 12:16Speaker 15: Kyle is our Libra and we are in Libra season.
- 12:19Speaker 7: Kyle.
- 12:20Speaker 4: You're going to get instant hives from the confrontation risk
- 12:22Speaker 4: when you get that we need to talk text. You
- 12:24Speaker 4: maybe texted out like six different really polite or reassuring responses.
- 12:29Speaker 4: And then you deleted them all because at the end
- 12:31Speaker 4: of the day, the way that they're acting is not
- 12:32Speaker 4: cool with you. And then you're going to send 10
- 12:34Speaker 4: exclamation points just.
- 12:35Speaker 7: To make your point. I like exclamation points, too, actually.
- 12:40Speaker 7: It really drives the point. People are like, why are
- 12:42Speaker 7: you yelling at me? I'm like, I'm not.
- 12:43Speaker 11: I'm just excited.
- 12:45Speaker 3: All right, so Rich is a Pisces. What's his weenie talk?
- 12:48Speaker 15: Yeah, Rich, your weenie talk.
- 12:49Speaker 4: No, if you get that late night text, you're going
- 12:52Speaker 4: to take one look at the screen. Put on like
- 12:55Speaker 4: a super sad breakup album.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Start crying and staring at the ceiling.
- 12:58Speaker 15: Stare at the ceiling.
- 12:59Speaker 4: Maybe write like a poetic paragraph on your Instagram story
- 13:02Speaker 4: about how you knew this was all going to happen
- 13:04Speaker 4: before you even replied.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Yeah, as soon as you said, we need to talk,
- 13:07Speaker 2: I got... The chills. I don't like it.
- 13:09Speaker 15: I don't like it.
- 13:10Speaker 2: How about Virgos?
- 13:11Speaker 3: Virgos.
- 13:12Speaker 4: John Jay, when you get that we need to talk text,
- 13:13Speaker 4: you don't get emotional. You get procedural. You will hit
- 13:16Speaker 4: them back with a bullet point list of why they
- 13:19Speaker 4: are wrong, and then you are demanding a clear agenda
- 13:21Speaker 4: so they don't waste your time with vague, unstructured feelings.
- 13:24Speaker 3: All right, very nice.
- 13:26Speaker 6: If we can get to your sign, I'll post it
- 13:27Speaker 6: on our website, as well as pictures and video of
- 13:29Speaker 6: Nina in our studio right now for horoscopes.
- 13:31Speaker 3: Very cool. It's up at johnjayandrich.com. For a while there,
- 13:36Speaker 3: it was rough.
- 13:37Speaker 7: These beautiful things that I've got.
- 13:40Speaker 4: Okay, so there's this question going around right now based
- 13:44Speaker 4: from this article. And it's like, what makes being single
- 13:47Speaker 4: worth it? Because everyone always talks about finding your person,
- 13:50Speaker 4: but nobody ever talks about the little luxuries that you
- 13:52Speaker 4: give up once you find one.
- 13:54Speaker 18: I'm not single, I'm just dating myself.
- 13:57Speaker 2: No one knows me better, and it's.
- 13:59Speaker 7: Better for my health.
- 14:00Speaker 12: I'm fine by myself and I, putting in the time.
- 14:04Speaker 7: Yeah, we're going to make it work, guys.
- 14:07Speaker 3: I think about them all the time.
- 14:09Speaker 11: Of course you do, John.
- 14:13Speaker 4: Like someone said, when they put something down, it is
- 14:16Speaker 4: still there eight weeks later, untouched.
- 14:18Speaker 3: That's such a good one. That is a good one, man.
- 14:21Speaker 3: I put down a spoon, and it's gone in five seconds.
- 14:24Speaker 4: And think about everything else, too, so you don't have
- 14:26Speaker 4: any in-law visits, no splitting holidays, no negotiating what's for dinner.
- 14:30Speaker 4: If you don't feel like cleaning the bathroom after you
- 14:32Speaker 4: get ready, you don't have to.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Well, you've skipped over a big one. No negotiating what's
- 14:36Speaker 2: for dinner. Whatever you're hungry for, you have.
- 14:38Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 14:39Speaker 2: And now you've got the world of DoorDash and Postmates
- 14:42Speaker 2: and Uber Eats up open to you. You could be
- 14:45Speaker 2: living the life.
- 14:45Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 14:46Speaker 12: Uh-huh.
- 14:47Speaker 4: This one, I kind of, I get. And, I mean,
- 14:49Speaker 4: we talk about sleep divorce all the time. I mean,
- 14:51Speaker 4: you get your own bed. Like, unlimited personal space. Your
- 14:54Speaker 4: schedule is completely yours. You can go wherever, whenever you want.
- 14:57Speaker 15: And you don't have to send a, hey, babe, just
- 14:59Speaker 15: so you know text.
- 15:01Speaker 6: Yeah, why it's great to be single. And there's a
- 15:03Speaker 6: difference between being single, being alone, and being lonely. Like
- 15:07Speaker 6: if you watch Ted Lasso right now, season five, he's
- 15:10Speaker 6: single and they're trying to get him to date, but
- 15:13Speaker 6: he doesn't seem to be lonely.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Like he seems to be fine being single. And I
- 15:16Speaker 3: think that's a big thing.
- 15:17Speaker 6: Like, like I could be, if something, God forbid happened
- 15:20Speaker 6: to my wife, Blake being single, I could.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Totally handle it. I think it's great. I think it's fantastic.
- 15:26Speaker 11: Stop sounding a little too excited about it.
- 15:29Speaker 13: John Jay.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Let's just say, for.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Example, someone cut her brakes. You could be single, but
- 15:37Speaker 2: you need a lot of people to take care of
- 15:38Speaker 2: stuff that Blake does. Like, you would need, like, the
- 15:41Speaker 2: laundry person, you get the mail person.
- 15:43Speaker 6: Before I was married, my mom did it for me,
- 15:46Speaker 6: and then I would go to fluff and fold.
- 15:48Speaker 11: As a single person, who would pay your bills?
- 15:51Speaker 6: I'd probably find somebody to do that.
- 15:56Speaker 2: You think there's a lot going on in your house now.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Wait till you're single.
- 15:59Speaker 3: But anyway, is there more things on that list? Because
- 16:01Speaker 3: people are calling in right now.
- 16:02Speaker 4: Yeah, it kind of wraps up with the deeper part
- 16:04Speaker 4: of being single because being single can actually force you
- 16:07Speaker 4: to figure out who you are when you're not factoring
- 16:10Speaker 4: another person into every single decision. Sometimes those single years
- 16:13Speaker 4: are the years that you fact yourself.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Okay, let's see. Megan, why is it great to be single?
- 16:18Speaker 7: All right, so.
- 16:20Speaker 16: One person can't be everything, right?
- 16:25Speaker 5: Like, I've got one guy who is.
- 16:27Speaker 10: Like, really good with emotional support, another guy who is, like,
- 16:31Speaker 10: good with dirty talk.
- 16:33Speaker 19: Another one who is, like, really cute and cuddly and
- 16:37Speaker 19: we watch movies.
- 16:38Speaker 14: Like, no one person can satisfy everything.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Oh, okay. That's interesting.
- 16:43Speaker 15: You get to play the game a little bit when
- 16:45Speaker 15: you're single.
- 16:45Speaker 3: That's interesting. Okay, Megan, thank you very much. Thank you. Raquel,
- 16:50Speaker 3: why is it great to be single?
- 16:52Speaker 19: You know, it's kind of like I feel like it's
- 16:55Speaker 19: like scrolling on Zillow.
- 16:56Speaker 5: You know what I mean?
- 16:57Speaker 19: Like I'm I'm not going to buy the house, but
- 16:59Speaker 19: I want to like I'm zooming in on the baseboards
- 17:02Speaker 19: and the crown molding.
- 17:03Speaker 5: I want to see what everything looks like.
- 17:04Speaker 17: And like I want to know the square footage before I,
- 17:08Speaker 17: you know.
- 17:09Speaker 7: Maybe put in an application or like.
- 17:12Speaker 19: You know, is it walkable?
- 17:14Speaker 5: Like, what's the landscaping like?
- 17:15Speaker 10: Is the neighbor's house maybe nicer than this house?
- 17:19Speaker 2: You're never going to buy a house and you're never
- 17:21Speaker 2: going to get a boyfriend. Those two things are true.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Just always shopping.
- 17:25Speaker 3: But those are all the things you do when you
- 17:26Speaker 3: are single, it sounds like, to find somebody.
- 17:29Speaker 17: Yeah, I love to shop.
- 17:31Speaker 7: I love the shopping.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Of it all.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Thanks, Raquel. Hey, Brooke, why is it great to be single?
- 17:38Speaker 5: Hey, first of all, before we get into it, I
- 17:40Speaker 5: just want to say I am a huge fan. I
- 17:42Speaker 5: absolutely love all of you guys. I'm thrilled to be
- 17:44Speaker 5: on the radio with you right now. It's such an honor.
- 17:46Speaker 5: I've been listening to your station since it was Crazy
- 17:49Speaker 5: Kid and Ruben F.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Wow. We took over after those guys.
- 17:53Speaker 5: I've been listening ever since. I love you guys. Thank you. So,
- 17:58Speaker 5: that's out of the way. I have a list, but
- 18:00Speaker 5: my biggest stuff is... Not having to answer to anybody
- 18:04Speaker 5: when you want to have a girl's night with your friends.
- 18:06Speaker 14: You don't have a.
- 18:06Speaker 5: Guy following you around like a puppy crying because he's
- 18:09Speaker 5: not there.
- 18:10Speaker 11: He can't come.
- 18:11Speaker 5: Like, you know, that definitely. Being able to watch whatever
- 18:16Speaker 5: I want on TV ain't nothing better than Netflix and
- 18:18Speaker 5: chilling by yourself, if you know what I mean. So,
- 18:24Speaker 5: you know, Netflix, chill by yourself.
- 18:26Speaker 15: You can do it.
- 18:26Speaker 5: Yourself anytime you.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Want and you can go to sleep.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Wow.
- 18:30Speaker 5: I like asking Dylan, what do I say that's appropriate
- 18:32Speaker 5: before I go on? I don't want to offend anybody.
- 18:35Speaker 3: I don't really do that with Netflix.
- 18:38Speaker 5: Yeah, no, I mean, well, we all know what that means,
- 18:44Speaker 5: but yeah, right. Background noise that gets you in the mood,
- 18:46Speaker 5: you know, light a candle.
- 18:51Speaker 3: All right, Brooke.
- 18:52Speaker 2: I'm surprised you had time to call in. You sound busy.
- 18:55Speaker 5: Oh, I'm actually, I just pulled up to work. I
- 18:58Speaker 5: have a training about a little over a half hour,
- 19:00Speaker 5: but no, it's okay. I mean, I actually work three jobs.
- 19:04Speaker 5: I work as many jobs.
- 19:05Speaker 3: As I have kids.
- 19:06Speaker 5: And I'm proud to report that I'm a very happy woman,
- 19:09Speaker 5: recently divorced. My divorce was finalized beginning of last month.
- 19:14Speaker 5: And I am happy, very happy to be where I am.
- 19:17Speaker 5: Very happy to be single.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Have you got any dates yet?
- 19:19Speaker 5: Yeah, actually, it's so funny you ask. So I actually,
- 19:23Speaker 5: I'm not going to say what spa I work in,
- 19:26Speaker 5: but I work in a spa. I'm an esthetician. I've
- 19:28Speaker 5: been doing it for over a decade. And there's a
- 19:30Speaker 5: guy who is very interested in me, he seems, but
- 19:33Speaker 5: it's been a lengthy process. We've been like kind of
- 19:35Speaker 5: just friends for the last year and a half. I've
- 19:37Speaker 5: been trying to get through the divorce the last year
- 19:39Speaker 5: and a half. And he's coming in to get a
- 19:41Speaker 5: facial from me.
- 19:42Speaker 15: He's very cute.
- 19:44Speaker 5: He's I mean, he seems, I don't know what the
- 19:48Speaker 5: deal is. It's just taking forever for anything to develop
- 19:51Speaker 5: with this guy. But he tips me fast. He has money, clearly.
- 19:54Speaker 6: So you're going to be all like popping his pimples
- 19:56Speaker 6: and stuff, getting really intimate in his face.
- 19:59Speaker 5: He has, well, I wish I could do more than that,
- 20:01Speaker 5: but I got to be professional at work.
- 20:02Speaker 13: Right.
- 20:02Speaker 20: Hello.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Hello.
- 20:04Speaker 4: Hello.
- 20:08Speaker 14: Yeah, literally.
- 20:09Speaker 5: I'm like, dude, the walls are paper thin.
- 20:11Speaker 7: Like, no.
- 20:12Speaker 5: And there's a button on the bed that if there's
- 20:14Speaker 5: an emergency, what if we accidentally press it?
- 20:17Speaker 2: You really thought this through.
- 20:18Speaker 5: Dude, it's like a fantasy I have that I will
- 20:22Speaker 5: never act on because as much as I joke, I
- 20:25Speaker 5: am extremely professional.
- 20:34Speaker 16: I don't really care what they think or say.
- 20:39Speaker 12: It's true.
- 20:40Speaker 7: I've fallen for me and it's going hella great.
- 20:43Speaker 6: Well, I'm so glad you listened. I'm so glad you
- 20:45Speaker 6: called in, Brooke. Thank you so much for listening.
- 20:47Speaker 5: You're such a fair girl. Sorry for kind of going
- 20:50Speaker 5: off about how great you guys are, but I love
- 20:51Speaker 5: you guys.
- 20:52Speaker 3: Are you kidding me? We need it. We don't get
- 20:53Speaker 3: that from anywhere else, especially not management. All right. Thanks, Brooke.
- 20:57Speaker 19: All right, cool.
- 20:58Speaker 16: Love you guys.
- 20:59Speaker 5: Have a good day.
- 20:59Speaker 3: Bye-bye. Get up, get up.
- 21:02Speaker 2: From the car to the office.
- 21:03Speaker 3: Wake up with them every morning.
- 21:05Speaker 2: John Jay and Rich.
- 21:06Speaker 6: Stacks and stacks of information.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Rich has life hacks. Check this out. Bill Gates thinks
- 21:13Speaker 3: AI could kill a billion people.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Oh, that sounds fun.
- 21:16Speaker 7: Like, in what way?
- 21:17Speaker 15: Because it's, like, killing the planet?
- 21:18Speaker 2: John, you didn't read the whole story.
- 21:19Speaker 3: It actually says click here for a full story. We
- 21:22Speaker 3: should do a whole segment on clickbait.
- 21:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Like, should I click on it? Should I not click
- 21:26Speaker 3: on it?
- 21:26Speaker 11: Okay, so I saw this, too, and he says right
- 21:29Speaker 11: now the threat.
- 21:30Speaker 7: Is people with bad intent using AI.
- 21:33Speaker 11: But he literally said, like... it could trigger events that
- 21:37Speaker 11: could cause a billion deaths. So they could use AI
- 21:40Speaker 11: to hack into the power grid and then people don't have, you.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Know, power or water.
- 21:46Speaker 11: And that would hurt a lot of people.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Be nice to the robots. That's your lesson.
- 21:51Speaker 6: A substitute teacher in Missouri lost her job when someone
- 21:53Speaker 6: found her OnlyFans account. She also claimed she was banned
- 21:57Speaker 6: from volunteering and helping out as a parent at her
- 21:59Speaker 6: kid's school.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Here she is, Sheena Sittner.
- 22:04Speaker 10: If teachers were paid better, women wouldn't have to resort
- 22:08Speaker 10: to online content creation.
- 22:11Speaker 2: It's sex sells.
- 22:12Speaker 10: It's funny because I've had this account, this OnlyFans account.
- 22:15Speaker 7: For two plus years.
- 22:17Speaker 10: So whoever did find it did some deep dive digging
- 22:21Speaker 10: because two years later, and now it's being found out,
- 22:25Speaker 10: I didn't, however, think that I would be completely stripped
- 22:30Speaker 10: away from being at my kid's school.
- 22:32Speaker 7: That's sad.
- 22:34Speaker 3: It is sad.
- 22:35Speaker 6: And what's interesting is that what happened? Did one of
- 22:37Speaker 6: the dads find her and then tell the wife? The
- 22:40Speaker 6: wife got pissed and ratted her out.
- 22:41Speaker 4: Oh, one of the dads probably subscribed to her. Totally.
- 22:44Speaker 15: And then the wife went and like, you know what
- 22:46Speaker 15: I mean?
- 22:46Speaker 9: Lame.
- 22:46Speaker 15: Yeah, that's what happened.
- 22:47Speaker 6: Social media posts going viral where a five guys worker
- 22:50Speaker 6: claims a customer freaked out on him because they ordered
- 22:53Speaker 6: a plain burger. And they were upset later because they
- 22:55Speaker 6: didn't have any toppings on it. They didn't understand what
- 22:57Speaker 6: a plain burger is. 72-year-old diehard Pokemon fan in Ohio
- 23:02Speaker 6: was convicted of placing an illegal GPS tracker on the
- 23:06Speaker 6: delivery driver's van so he could track when and where
- 23:09Speaker 6: the driver was making deliveries on Pokemon cards.
- 23:11Speaker 15: Oh, so he could, like, steal them?
- 23:12Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 23:13Speaker 20: Oh, that's crazy.
- 23:14Speaker 6: Buy them, buy them, because you gotta... Nobody knows when
- 23:16Speaker 6: those shipments are coming. It's pretty crazy. Well, according to
- 23:21Speaker 6: the latest internet polling... This backs up the Bill Gates thing.
- 23:24Speaker 6: Americans are a lot more worried about AI than the
- 23:26Speaker 6: rest of the world.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Because we know. We've seen Terminator. We know what's going
- 23:31Speaker 2: to happen. How do these people get so lucky?
- 23:33Speaker 6: A new poll, 45% of people claim they have not
- 23:36Speaker 6: received any calls, texts, or emails from political candidates yet.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Or causes over the past month. What? I get them
- 23:43Speaker 3: every day now.
- 23:43Speaker 16: All the time.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Every day.
- 23:45Speaker 11: They get really creative with them too. Like the text
- 23:47Speaker 11: starts with, oh, can you believe this? And I'm like,
- 23:50Speaker 11: who is this? And I'm like, oh, political text to
- 23:52Speaker 11: guide you.
- 23:53Speaker 3: Get this.
- 23:53Speaker 6: For the last 70 years, residents of Alberta, Canada have
- 23:57Speaker 6: shared something in common with Antarctica. They are all officially
- 24:02Speaker 6: free of rats. There are no rats. For 70 years,
- 24:05Speaker 6: no rats.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Well, that's cool.
- 24:07Speaker 3: And then.
- 24:08Speaker 16: Oh.
- 24:09Speaker 3: Someone found one. Frozen.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Frozen. Okay, that doesn't count.
- 24:12Speaker 3: Do you know this? 90% of the world's currency is digital.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Yeah, that's where it's all going, too.
- 24:19Speaker 3: I didn't know that.
- 24:20Speaker 11: I would not think they would be that high.
- 24:22Speaker 6: I know.
- 24:22Speaker 2: That's why you need to get yourself a cold wallet.
- 24:23Speaker 2: You guys know what a cold wallet is?
- 24:25Speaker 3: Just from this TV show I saw.
- 24:26Speaker 15: What is that?
- 24:26Speaker 8: Kind of.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Better go get one.
- 24:29Speaker 7: I don't want to.
- 24:29Speaker 6: Internet poll asks, what's your opinion on turn signals? Should
- 24:32Speaker 6: they always be used? And yes, everyone thinks so. In fact,
- 24:35Speaker 6: somebody even said, the fact that this is a question
- 24:37Speaker 6: is insane.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:39Speaker 11: I mean, I kind of don't think they're necessary if
- 24:42Speaker 11: nobody else is on the road behind you.
- 24:44Speaker 2: It's a force of habit though.
- 24:45Speaker 3: I saw this.
- 24:46Speaker 7: Turning outside of my driveway.
- 24:48Speaker 6: I saw this everywhere over the weekend and I, we
- 24:50Speaker 6: didn't address it yesterday, but I think it's important. The
- 24:52Speaker 6: New York times pulled all these TV critics and showrunners
- 24:54Speaker 6: to create a list of the hundred best TV shows
- 24:56Speaker 6: of the 21st century. Number one, you guys see it
- 24:59Speaker 6: breaking bad, breaking bad. Number one, it's always, it's always
- 25:03Speaker 6: like the top deck. it's always The Wire and Breaking Bad.
- 25:06Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 25:07Speaker 15: Yeah, The Wire's good.
- 25:08Speaker 11: I feel like, oh my gosh, the one with the
- 25:10Speaker 11: dragons and people.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Game of Thrones.
- 25:12Speaker 11: That one's always up there, too.
- 25:13Speaker 3: Game of Thrones is number six. Fleabag is number five.
- 25:16Speaker 3: Succession is four. Mad Men, three. The Wire and Breaking Bad.
- 25:19Speaker 15: I wonder what.
- 25:20Speaker 4: Like these critics are taking into account. Does it just
- 25:23Speaker 4: have all of the elements? Like it has the crime.
- 25:26Speaker 4: It has the relationship.
- 25:27Speaker 3: Well, Breaking Bad literally has all the elements.
- 25:29Speaker 2: And then it's like usually it's got to be something
- 25:31Speaker 2: groundbreaking that we haven't seen before. I'm surprised Sopranos isn't
- 25:34Speaker 2: on that list. Did you say Sopranos or no?
- 25:36Speaker 3: Not in the top. Not what I said.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Wow. That'd be bigger than Fleabag, I would think.
- 25:40Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 25:40Speaker 11: I don't think I ever saw Fleabag.
- 25:42Speaker 3: I don't see Sopranos. I mean, I know it's on here.
- 25:44Speaker 3: They forget.
- 25:45Speaker 2: People forget.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Uh, I don't see surprise on here. Sorry, man. Not
- 25:49Speaker 3: on here. I mean, I'm sure it's surprising. Yeah.
- 25:51Speaker 11: Okay.
- 25:52Speaker 3: So what do you got for life hacks?
- 25:53Speaker 2: It's sweater weather. Well, I mean, you know, here it's
- 25:55Speaker 2: below 90 for a day or so. So we think
- 25:57Speaker 2: it's time to bust out the sweaters. But do you
- 25:59Speaker 2: have the problems with the neck being all stretched out
- 26:02Speaker 2: and the shoulders because they're on hangers, bumps all over
- 26:05Speaker 2: the shoulders? Don't do that anymore, Peyton. Stop it.
- 26:08Speaker 15: Okay.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Stop it. I'm stopping. I'm going to give you the
- 26:11Speaker 2: simplest version of this, but I'm going to put a
- 26:13Speaker 2: longer version on. the website, because it's a little involved.
- 26:16Speaker 2: You fold it in such a way that you put
- 26:18Speaker 2: the hanger basically through the armpits, and then you never
- 26:22Speaker 2: have a stretched-out neck, and you never have armpit or
- 26:26Speaker 2: shoulder bumps. That way, the sweater's weight's supported without pulling
- 26:30Speaker 2: at the collar or the shoulders. That will be that
- 26:33Speaker 2: life hack for you on johnjandrich.com.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Hey, we're getting ready for Second Aid Update. Phil, good morning.
- 26:38Speaker 3: What's going on in the dating world?
- 26:40Speaker 14: Went on this date with this really awesome girl. Took
- 26:42Speaker 14: her to go see Endgame. And now she's completely ghosting me.
- 26:46Speaker 3: She's ghosting you? Is this the end game?
- 26:47Speaker 2: Intense.
- 26:48Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 26:49Speaker 2: I think it was the end game. He would think
- 26:51Speaker 2: end game, that gets you a second date right away.
- 26:53Speaker 6: I'm guessing I know why things didn't go well, but
- 26:55Speaker 6: we'll find out. All right, hold on. We'll hear your story,
- 26:58Speaker 6: and then we'll get her on the phone to find
- 26:59Speaker 6: out why she's ghosting you. Second date update starts next
- 27:02Speaker 6: with John Jane Rich.
- 27:04Speaker 4: The next segment we're going to do is called Second
- 27:06Speaker 4: Date Update because that's what we're going to try and get,
- 27:09Speaker 4: and that's what the bit is called.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Second Date Update starts right now on John Jay and Rich.
- 27:14Speaker 3: Hey, it's time for Second Date Update. Phil went on
- 27:17Speaker 3: a date, wants a second date, getting ghosted. You know
- 27:20Speaker 3: the drill. Phil, good morning. You're on the air. Good morning.
- 27:23Speaker 14: How you doing?
- 27:23Speaker 12: Good.
- 27:23Speaker 6: Tell us a little bit about the situation you're in
- 27:25Speaker 6: with this girl.
- 27:26Speaker 14: I got ghosted, and it's crazy because, like, this is
- 27:31Speaker 14: new to me, right? I can't even remember the last
- 27:34Speaker 14: time I got ghosted, if I've been ghosted at all.
- 27:36Speaker 14: Everything was great.
- 27:37Speaker 3: It was a great day.
- 27:38Speaker 14: We went out, went to go see Avengers Endgame in theaters.
- 27:42Speaker 14: And I'm a bit of a Marvel nerd, so I
- 27:44Speaker 14: don't know if I just did too much with that
- 27:48Speaker 14: and maybe kind of freaked her out. But it seemed
- 27:51Speaker 14: like it went really well. I just, I don't know
- 27:55Speaker 14: what went wrong.
- 27:56Speaker 4: When you say you're kind of a Marvel nerd and
- 27:58Speaker 4: you went to the movie, were you reciting the lines?
- 28:01Speaker 15: Because that's been out for a while. What do you mean?
- 28:04Speaker 4: What could have weirded her out about you being a
- 28:06Speaker 4: Marvel fan?
- 28:07Speaker 14: Well, just giving her context about characters. I know some
- 28:12Speaker 14: facts about the movie and stuff. I was just excited
- 28:15Speaker 14: to see it in theaters again. So I don't know
- 28:16Speaker 14: if I just... came across a little too strong.
- 28:19Speaker 7: Maybe you just talked too much, you know, like during
- 28:21Speaker 7: the movie, you're just trying to watch the movie.
- 28:23Speaker 15: It could be as simple as that.
- 28:25Speaker 6: The main thing about the movie that came out this
- 28:27Speaker 6: weekend was the end credit scenes.
- 28:29Speaker 3: There were four different end credit scenes. And they leaked.
- 28:32Speaker 6: And so I was fortunate enough to be able to
- 28:34Speaker 6: watch the end credit scenes without going to the four-hour movie.
- 28:38Speaker 3: So I could see– and it's interesting, too.
- 28:40Speaker 6: Because whenever I talk about some of the Marvel stuff
- 28:42Speaker 6: with my sons, my wife is just like, no part
- 28:46Speaker 6: of it.
- 28:46Speaker 3: Yeah, no part of it.
- 28:47Speaker 6: So I wonder– She could have been like that, Phil,
- 28:50Speaker 6: and you caught on when you're talking about Iron Man
- 28:53Speaker 6: making the mask at the end.
- 28:54Speaker 3: Did you watch the end credit scenes? I did not. Oh,
- 28:57Speaker 3: they were good.
- 28:57Speaker 2: I haven't seen any of them yet.
- 28:59Speaker 3: They're good. Well, I don't want to get all marveled
- 29:01Speaker 3: out like Phil.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Yeah, don't say anything, Phil. I don't need to know yet.
- 29:06Speaker 3: All right, Phil, was it good, though? Did you like
- 29:07Speaker 3: the end credit scenes? Was it great? Yeah, of course.
- 29:10Speaker 3: All right, so what's this girl's name, Phil?
- 29:12Speaker 14: Her name's Tara.
- 29:14Speaker 3: All right, so we're going to call Tara.
- 29:15Speaker 6: I mean, it's recently because the movie just came out Friday,
- 29:17Speaker 6: so this is a very recent ghosting.
- 29:21Speaker 3: So hang tight. We'll get her on the phone, and
- 29:24Speaker 3: we're going to find out why she's blowing you off.
- 29:27Speaker 20: Awesome.
- 29:28Speaker 14: Thank you.
- 29:28Speaker 3: All right.
- 29:29Speaker 6: Second Aid Update continues next with Jontae and Rich. the
- 29:43Speaker 6: middle of second date update you got phil phil's getting
- 29:46Speaker 6: ghosted by tara.
- 29:47Speaker 2: It's that time of year everybody where ghosts are around
- 29:50Speaker 2: except for real ghosts come back and haunt you phil's
- 29:54Speaker 2: ghost was a date that just disappeared They went to
- 29:58Speaker 2: see a Marvel movie. They went to go see Endgame. But, Phil,
- 30:01Speaker 2: was his nerd talk the thing that Endgamed the actual date?
- 30:05Speaker 2: We are going to find out by talking to Tara.
- 30:08Speaker 3: All right. She's ready to go. Dylan, okay. You want
- 30:11Speaker 3: to patch her through? Hi, Tara.
- 30:13Speaker 12: Hi.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Hey, thanks for jumping on the air with us.
- 30:16Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 30:17Speaker 8: No problem.
- 30:18Speaker 3: Okay, so.
- 30:20Speaker 6: Got a call from a guy, went on a date
- 30:21Speaker 6: with you, thinks you're awesome, wants to see you again.
- 30:23Speaker 6: He says you're ghosting him and we thought we would
- 30:25Speaker 6: call you and see if we could get the dish
- 30:26Speaker 6: on why you're ghosting him, if that's okay.
- 30:29Speaker 16: Yeah, okay. This is weird because I was actually very
- 30:38Speaker 16: clear with him that I just wasn't interested. So like
- 30:41Speaker 16: when you say that, why am I ghosting him? Like
- 30:45Speaker 16: I don't know how you can ghost somebody if they
- 30:47Speaker 16: ask you to see them again and then you're like, No.
- 30:51Speaker 2: No, that is not a ghost.
- 30:52Speaker 11: You know, I mean, no, that's telling it how it is.
- 30:56Speaker 2: So wait after what's the, did he text you afterwards
- 31:00Speaker 2: or during the date that you tell him?
- 31:01Speaker 16: No.
- 31:01Speaker 2: How, how did you say no?
- 31:03Speaker 16: He texted me afterwards and I told him thanks so much,
- 31:07Speaker 16: but I'm just not interested.
- 31:08Speaker 14: I was very clear.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Very clear.
- 31:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:11Speaker 11: There should be just no questions after.
- 31:15Speaker 3: Okay.
- 31:16Speaker 11: Other than maybe like a, why are you not interested?
- 31:18Speaker 16: I don't know. I'm actually kind of confused why he
- 31:21Speaker 16: would even call you guys. Honestly, I'm at work right now.
- 31:24Speaker 16: So this is not even convenient for me. So I
- 31:27Speaker 16: don't know what he wants me to say that I
- 31:29Speaker 16: haven't literally already said to him.
- 31:31Speaker 14: Hey, I'm sorry about all this. I just, I haven't
- 31:35Speaker 14: heard from you.
- 31:36Speaker 16: Oh my, is that Phil?
- 31:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:39Speaker 16: You guys didn't even tell me he was going to
- 31:40Speaker 16: be on the phone.
- 31:41Speaker 3: No.
- 31:42Speaker 15: Yes.
- 31:42Speaker 13: Okay.
- 31:43Speaker 14: I'm just confused because you never really told me what
- 31:46Speaker 14: I did wrong.
- 31:47Speaker 16: What do you mean what you did wrong? I told
- 31:49Speaker 16: you I wasn't interested.
- 31:51Speaker 14: Right, but I thought that maybe you were just saying that.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Seems pretty direct to me.
- 31:59Speaker 13: Because what?
- 31:59Speaker 16: Because that's what I mean. I said no, there wasn't
- 32:03Speaker 16: like a hidden meaning. I wasn't being coy. I told
- 32:05Speaker 16: you no, I'm not interested.
- 32:07Speaker 14: I just feel like if you told me what happened
- 32:09Speaker 14: that maybe I could fix it.
- 32:10Speaker 21: Fix what?
- 32:11Speaker 16: I don't want another date.
- 32:14Speaker 2: I guess he's saying is there something that he did
- 32:16Speaker 2: that Maybe you were into him at first, but he
- 32:18Speaker 2: did something that turned you off or made you feel
- 32:20Speaker 2: a certain way.
- 32:20Speaker 11: Or maybe if you just tell him, it's like some
- 32:22Speaker 11: sort of closure and he'll go away.
- 32:26Speaker 6: He thinks he was a Marvel nerd. And that's why
- 32:29Speaker 6: you're not into him. I'd like to know why you're
- 32:30Speaker 6: not into him.
- 32:31Speaker 3: Well, go ahead.
- 32:33Speaker 16: I don't want to be mean right now.
- 32:35Speaker 3: Don't be mean.
- 32:35Speaker 16: Is that what you want?
- 32:36Speaker 6: No, I just, I think it's interesting when somebody doesn't
- 32:39Speaker 6: like somebody, you can always say, you know what?
- 32:41Speaker 3: They had little teeth and big gums. You know what?
- 32:44Speaker 6: They were too short. I know two people that went
- 32:46Speaker 6: on a date the other day. I told my wife,
- 32:47Speaker 6: she goes, Oh my God, he's too short for her.
- 32:49Speaker 6: Like there's, there's things like that. So what was it?
- 32:52Speaker 6: If you don't mind.
- 32:53Speaker 16: I mean, it's not like one thing really. I don't,
- 32:56Speaker 16: I mean, I don't know.
- 32:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:02Speaker 3: Oh, I hate that.
- 33:04Speaker 16: He talked about being an entrepreneur, but then just like
- 33:07Speaker 16: explained to me MLM for a while. He was always
- 33:11Speaker 16: trying to like make little jokes with the employees at
- 33:17Speaker 16: the place. Like I was like, why is everything got
- 33:19Speaker 16: to be like a little joke? Yeah, I guess he
- 33:23Speaker 16: nerded out on Marvel. He was like weirdly checking his
- 33:26Speaker 16: phone like for notes, like conversation topics the whole time. Um,
- 33:32Speaker 16: I don't know how far do you want me to go?
- 33:33Speaker 3: Wow. I didn't understand the entrepreneur part. He said he
- 33:37Speaker 3: was an entrepreneur and then what?
- 33:39Speaker 16: And then he was just like talking, he's trying to
- 33:41Speaker 16: explain to me MLMs, like multi-level marketing.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Oh God. I'm a pyramid scheme entrepreneur.
- 33:49Speaker 15: I think the only MLM I support is.
- 33:51Speaker 6: This is what I'm talking about. These are many reasons
- 33:54Speaker 6: why you don't want to see him again.
- 33:55Speaker 3: I get it.
- 33:56Speaker 4: Is there more?
- 33:56Speaker 16: You have a list.
- 33:57Speaker 3: Is there more?
- 33:58Speaker 16: He wore ankle socks, which was weird to me.
- 34:01Speaker 12: Uh, he.
- 34:03Speaker 16: Parted his hair in a weird way.
- 34:05Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 34:06Speaker 11: A lot of things.
- 34:08Speaker 7: Not into it.
- 34:09Speaker 2: It actually explains the no, thank you. I'm not interested.
- 34:12Speaker 2: There was too much to explain in the text.
- 34:16Speaker 3: That's great.
- 34:17Speaker 2: And she tried to be nice. She tried to let
- 34:18Speaker 2: him off the hook.
- 34:19Speaker 14: This is all a shock to me. I really thought
- 34:24Speaker 14: that it went well and it was just cause I
- 34:26Speaker 14: was passionate about the movie, but, uh, I see why
- 34:30Speaker 14: you don't want to see me again, Tara. Great.
- 34:32Speaker 16: Glad we had this talk.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh. Doesn't feel like there's a lot of
- 34:36Speaker 2: chemistry here.
- 34:37Speaker 4: No, there's definitely someone out there for you, Phil. It's
- 34:39Speaker 4: just not Tara. I think we can close this chapter.
- 34:43Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 34:44Speaker 3: Yeah. All right, Tara. Thank you for jumping on the
- 34:46Speaker 3: air with us. We know you're busy. Thanks for taking
- 34:48Speaker 3: time to talk to us at work.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Yeah. Anytime, I guess.
- 34:50Speaker 3: All right, Phil, take notes. All right, that's Sucking It
- 34:53Speaker 3: Up Beat, you guys, with John Jay and Rich.
- 34:58Speaker 7: I'm drinking coffee right now.
- 34:59Speaker 13: Me too.
- 34:59Speaker 16: Cheers.
- 35:22Speaker 3: Salud. There was a time when Seattle was the coffee
- 35:25Speaker 3: capital of the United States, but is it still?
- 35:28Speaker 2: I would think so.
- 35:29Speaker 3: No.
- 35:29Speaker 1: No.
- 35:30Speaker 6: An annual report on the best coffee cities in America
- 35:32Speaker 6: ranked 100 cities based on things like local coffee popularity,
- 35:35Speaker 6: coffee roasters and shops, coffee spending and prices, and coffee culture.
- 35:39Speaker 3: This year, Orlando is number one.
- 35:43Speaker 16: What?
- 35:43Speaker 6: Followed by Portland, Oregon, Miami, Long Beach, California, Seattle, Tampa,
- 35:48Speaker 6: San Francisco, Oakland, Pittsburgh, and Austin, Texas. Laredo brings up
- 35:53Speaker 6: the rear 100. Detroit is one of the worst at 98. Memphis, 97. Milwaukee, 89.
- 36:00Speaker 6: I don't see where we are, but I feel like
- 36:03Speaker 6: I see unique coffee places everywhere here.
- 36:05Speaker 2: Popping up all the time.
- 36:08Speaker 6: A study looked into the most popular coffee beverage in
- 36:10Speaker 6: every state. Espresso takes the top spot in 28 states.
- 36:16Speaker 6: Lattes are popular, 14 states, and cappuccino in 11 states.
- 36:20Speaker 3: 66% of Americans say they drink at least one cup
- 36:22Speaker 3: of coffee a day 7% up from 2020.
- 36:26Speaker 6: Specialty coffee is surging in popularity. 48% of people are
- 36:29Speaker 6: into specialty coffee. I don't know what that is.
- 36:31Speaker 4: It's like the fancy, like when you go to the
- 36:34Speaker 4: little foofy little coffee.
- 36:35Speaker 15: Shops, they make them all special.
- 36:37Speaker 2: Cinnamon dolce with a shot of espresso.
- 36:40Speaker 15: Right, they like muddle their own fruit or whatever.
- 36:42Speaker 3: Well, it is National Coffee Day.
- 36:44Speaker 6: Hello.
- 36:45Speaker 3: First of all, welcome to the show.
- 36:47Speaker 13: I'm starting to realize that maybe it's time I wake up.
- 36:49Speaker 3: I can't talk to you yet. I haven't had my
- 36:50Speaker 3: coffee yet. I'm not a morning person.
- 36:52Speaker 11: Where's my coffee?
- 36:53Speaker 2: Quick, that's the beans.
- 36:54Speaker 18: Way down among Brazilians, coffee beans grow by the billions.
- 36:58Speaker 18: So they've got to find those extra cups to fill.
- 37:02Speaker 15: Beans again, listen you.
- 37:03Speaker 3: They've got an awful lot of coffee in Brazil.
- 37:07Speaker 11: What do you think is the difference between living and
- 37:10Speaker 11: being alive?
- 37:12Speaker 18: Second cup of coffee duncan doesn't take a lot of
- 37:16Speaker 18: skill they've got an awful lot of coffee an awful
- 37:21Speaker 18: lot of coffee man they got a gang of coffee
- 37:25Speaker 18: in brazil.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Gonna be honest, did a little too much.
- 37:32Speaker 3: Gave you a little too much. You know, I'm new
- 37:34Speaker 3: to the coffee world.
- 37:35Speaker 11: Are we still new?
- 37:37Speaker 6: I wish I would have drank coffee a long time ago.
- 37:39Speaker 6: I feel like it's changed my life.
- 37:40Speaker 2: Oh, for sure.
- 37:41Speaker 6: I'm a new coffee fan and I love coffee. Just
- 37:45Speaker 6: black coffee. But you got some coffee food.
- 37:47Speaker 3: News, Barrow?
- 37:47Speaker 2: Well, yeah, it's part of food news. It's International Coffee Day.
- 37:50Speaker 2: Circle K free coffee today. Now you've got to be
- 37:52Speaker 2: one of those Inner Circle Rewards members. But you get
- 37:54Speaker 2: a free medium hot or iced coffee through the Circle
- 37:57Speaker 2: K app. You also can get free coffee at Einstein's
- 38:01Speaker 2: and Krispy Kreme just with any purchase. Now I have
- 38:04Speaker 2: searched far and wide to any place here in Arizona
- 38:09Speaker 2: where they're just giving away a cup of coffee for nothing.
- 38:12Speaker 2: Like no strings attached. And I can't find any of those.
- 38:15Speaker 2: All of those have to be like an app or
- 38:16Speaker 2: something like that. There's always a string attached. There's no
- 38:19Speaker 2: free cup of coffee. But also in food news, and
- 38:22Speaker 2: this was breaking yesterday. And Peyton Whitmore over here made
- 38:26Speaker 2: sure that she blew up the Rich Barra phone to
- 38:28Speaker 2: make sure that I announced this. Chipotle is bringing back
- 38:30Speaker 2: the margarita after six years.
- 38:33Speaker 3: You can get alcohol at Chipotle?
- 38:34Speaker 15: You used to be able to.
- 38:36Speaker 4: They're bringing it back for Halloween.
- 38:38Speaker 2: And it's a $ 6 margarita. It returns in October. But
- 38:41Speaker 2: check this out. Only at select locations. It moves to
- 38:43Speaker 2: a different city every weekend. Denver, Brooklyn, Dallas, Los Angeles,
- 38:47Speaker 2: New Orleans all get a turn. But it is coming
- 38:49Speaker 2: back for a limited time. But, you know, if they
- 38:51Speaker 2: do well there, then they will bring it everywhere. And
- 38:53Speaker 2: one more final thing for food news here. Popeyes has
- 38:55Speaker 2: turned a fan hack into an actual menu item. Or
- 38:59Speaker 2: they're copying off Bojangles. The new $ 5 honey chicken biscuit
- 39:02Speaker 2: is available. And it is fried chicken on a giant
- 39:06Speaker 2: oversized buttermilk biscuit with sweet honey sauce. And they're serving
- 39:09Speaker 2: it all day. Breakfast? Sure.
- 39:11Speaker 13: Lunch?
- 39:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:12Speaker 13: Dinner?
- 39:12Speaker 2: Don't overthink it. It's fried chicken in a giant biscuit
- 39:15Speaker 2: and honey. You get the idea.
- 39:16Speaker 11: Also perfect because it is National Coffee Day. They just
- 39:20Speaker 11: announced that, like, I guess Dolly Parton had been working
- 39:22Speaker 11: on making her own coffee for years. And she had
- 39:25Speaker 11: filmed commercials for it and everything. And it's called Cup
- 39:27Speaker 11: of Ambition. And it's, like, officially out today.
- 39:30Speaker 8: Today.
- 39:30Speaker 3: Oh, my God. Why hadn't she had her own cup
- 39:32Speaker 3: of ambition?
- 39:32Speaker 12: I know.
- 39:32Speaker 11: I guess she'd been working on it for years. But
- 39:34Speaker 11: now today's the.
- 39:35Speaker 6: Day that it's officially out. For myself a cup of
- 39:36Speaker 6: ambition and yawn and stretch and seem to come alive. Well,
- 39:40Speaker 6: because it is National Coffee Day. We can wrap up
- 39:42Speaker 6: talking about coffee by playing this legendary clip from comedian
- 39:46Speaker 6: Brian Regan, which I LOL out loud every time I
- 39:49Speaker 6: hear it.
- 39:49Speaker 22: Sometimes you wonder why they can't do something that seems simple.
- 39:52Speaker 14: I like a cup of black coffee after a meal.
- 39:55Speaker 22: I'm amazed at how impossible this is for me to communicate.
- 39:58Speaker 3: I don't think I could say it.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Any more clearly.
- 40:00Speaker 3: Would you like anything else, sir? Yeah, I'd like a
- 40:02Speaker 3: cup of black coffee, please.
- 40:04Speaker 2: How would you like that coffee? How would I like
- 40:08Speaker 2: the black coffee? Can you put it in a cup?
- 40:16Speaker 22: Yeah, don't just splash it on my face. Would you
- 40:22Speaker 22: like cream and sugar with that? Is it black cream?
- 40:30Speaker 3: If not, I'll take it blackity black black.
- 40:34Speaker 2: Filled with blackness, devoid of all light.
- 40:39Speaker 22: Think of the blackest thing you can imagine and double
- 40:42Speaker 22: that blackness and take a black magic marker.
- 40:45Speaker 2: And fill in the gaps and put that into a
- 40:47Speaker 2: black rocket ship and shoot that into the.
- 40:50Speaker 22: Depths of black space and close your eyes and use that.
- 40:53Speaker 3: As a reference. Hey, yesterday I saw Kyle Unflugged, which
- 41:04Speaker 3: is a beauty salon.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. Yeah.
- 41:07Speaker 4: New hair.
- 41:07Speaker 2: Who dis?
- 41:08Speaker 3: In fact, I think you should post our transition, your
- 41:10Speaker 3: transition on John Jay and Rich Instagram. I watched like
- 41:12Speaker 3: five times.
- 41:13Speaker 15: You did?
- 41:14Speaker 6: Yeah, because I was trying to notice the differences. Which,
- 41:16Speaker 6: by the way, wait a minute. I'm going to jump
- 41:18Speaker 6: all around here.
- 41:18Speaker 3: Surprise, surprise. Okay. Your transition, I'd like you to post it.
- 41:22Speaker 3: I literally watched it five times.
- 41:25Speaker 6: And I want to get into this story I saw
- 41:26Speaker 6: about hairstyles, because I want to talk about your hairstyle.
- 41:28Speaker 3: But then did you see the new Instagram thing?
- 41:29Speaker 2: What new Instagram thing?
- 41:30Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 41:31Speaker 16: News?
- 41:31Speaker 8: News?
- 41:32Speaker 16: What?
- 41:32Speaker 3: <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> Oh,
- 41:35Speaker 3: here it is.
- 41:36Speaker 6: So Instagram has something called Instagram Plus subscription. It costs
- 41:44Speaker 6: $ 3. 99 a month. It includes a lot of features. But
- 41:48Speaker 6: there's one that people are freaking out about. They said
- 41:50Speaker 6: it's creepy. It's the main perk involves a stories feature
- 41:55Speaker 6: where you can watch, see who's watched your stories over
- 41:58Speaker 6: and over again, which is kind of creeping people out.
- 42:01Speaker 15: Oh, yeah.
- 42:02Speaker 7: Do you want to know?
- 42:03Speaker 20: Right.
- 42:03Speaker 6: So if you looked on yours, you'd see that I
- 42:05Speaker 6: watched your stories several times because I was looking. I
- 42:09Speaker 6: was like, wait, I was trying to see the transition,
- 42:12Speaker 6: how different your hair looked. And then I read this
- 42:14Speaker 6: story to hear. Listen, this is somebody talking about it.
- 42:16Speaker 20: This is the thing that made me the most uncomfortable
- 42:20Speaker 20: in the last week and has made me not want
- 42:22Speaker 20: to use Instagram ever again. Basically what this feature does
- 42:25Speaker 20: is you can see the timestamp at which someone has
- 42:27Speaker 20: first watched your stories. You will see a number of
- 42:30Speaker 20: people whose timestamps change and they jump back to the top.
- 42:33Speaker 20: Maybe someone watched your story one hour ago and then
- 42:36Speaker 20: some number of other people watched your story and then
- 42:38Speaker 20: they watched your story again one minute ago and again
- 42:41Speaker 20: and again. And all day long, you can watch as
- 42:43Speaker 20: certain people's names continue to jump to the top of
- 42:46Speaker 20: your list. Instagram has created all these new social behaviors
- 42:49Speaker 20: that exist only online and not in person.
- 42:53Speaker 11: That's weird.
- 42:54Speaker 2: I don't like it.
- 42:54Speaker 11: I don't know if I would. Number one, I don't
- 42:56Speaker 11: know if I would want to know that. That's what
- 42:58Speaker 11: I'm saying. It would be very creepy. But I definitely
- 43:00Speaker 11: don't think I would pay to know that.
- 43:02Speaker 2: Yeah, not four bucks a month.
- 43:04Speaker 4: I wonder if there's a different angle for it. I
- 43:09Speaker 4: feel like it could be beneficial for maybe an influencer
- 43:12Speaker 4: who is going back to see which content is hitting
- 43:14Speaker 4: that people are going back to.
- 43:16Speaker 15: And looking at.
- 43:16Speaker 2: Wasn't that already kind of available with the stats and
- 43:19Speaker 2: all that anyway? Maybe.
- 43:22Speaker 4: I'm just trying to make Instagram not creepy right now.
- 43:24Speaker 11: It's a good effort.
- 43:26Speaker 6: Anyway, if we could post that on John Jay and Rich,
- 43:28Speaker 6: Kyle did a transition video of her hair.
- 43:30Speaker 3: Sure.
- 43:32Speaker 6: According to Glamour Magazine, some recognizable hairstyles from the 1980s
- 43:38Speaker 6: are making a comeback.
- 43:39Speaker 11: Ooh, like which ones?
- 43:40Speaker 3: I have them all right here. Oh, I remember crimpers.
- 43:44Speaker 3: My sister did that.
- 43:44Speaker 2: Well, you know, it's like on the MTV VMAs, like,
- 43:47Speaker 2: you know, like Ray and... Sienna Spiral. They all had like,
- 43:52Speaker 2: like almost like throwback to the fifties hairstyles.
- 43:55Speaker 3: Well, this is the eighties. I would say right now, Kyle,
- 43:57Speaker 3: your hairstyle is not eighties. Would you say?
- 43:59Speaker 13: No.
- 44:00Speaker 3: What would you call your hairstyle?
- 44:01Speaker 12: I don't know.
- 44:02Speaker 2: Millennial.
- 44:03Speaker 8: Okay.
- 44:04Speaker 6: Here are the classic looks that are finding new life
- 44:06Speaker 6: in 2026.
- 44:08Speaker 3: The ponytail made famous by Madonna.
- 44:11Speaker 11: Oh, so like really high, the high ponytail.
- 44:14Speaker 3: The side part blowout made famous by Cindy Crawford. Okay.
- 44:19Speaker 3: You guys may know that one.
- 44:21Speaker 7: I can picture it.
- 44:21Speaker 15: I'm like, it's a side part blowout.
- 44:23Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 44:23Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 44:24Speaker 11: I can picture the side part blowout.
- 44:25Speaker 19: Me too.
- 44:26Speaker 3: Messy Curls, made famous by Julia Roberts. Okay.
- 44:29Speaker 15: Oh, yeah.
- 44:30Speaker 20: Cute.
- 44:31Speaker 3: The Pineapple Updo, made famous by Sarah Jessica Parker.
- 44:35Speaker 11: Not aware of this one.
- 44:36Speaker 14: Neither am I.
- 44:36Speaker 7: Oh, I know the Pineapple Updo.
- 44:37Speaker 4: You know it?
- 44:38Speaker 15: I'm going to do it.
- 44:39Speaker 7: Yeah, that's how I put.
- 44:40Speaker 15: My hair up when I go to bed.
- 44:41Speaker 6: By the way, we're going to play Minute to Win It.
- 44:44Speaker 3: We need a contestant.
- 44:45Speaker 16: 877-937-1047.
- 44:46Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 44:46Speaker 2: 877-937-1047.
- 44:46Speaker 7: What's it look like?
- 44:52Speaker 11: It's like literally just sort of like your hair at
- 44:55Speaker 11: the top of your head.
- 44:56Speaker 6: Oh, yeah, okay, okay, okay. Permed curls made famous by
- 45:00Speaker 6: Dolly Parton.
- 45:02Speaker 2: Yeah, it's good.
- 45:03Speaker 3: Natural curls made famous by Diana Ross.
- 45:06Speaker 2: I haven't heard the, you know, the mall bangs yet.
- 45:09Speaker 2: That hasn't come back from the 80s. The what? The
- 45:11Speaker 2: mall bangs, the 80s hair.
- 45:13Speaker 3: The outward flipped out ends. Made famous by Princess Diana.
- 45:17Speaker 2: There you go. That's what I'm talking about. Oh, that's
- 45:19Speaker 2: a cute.
- 45:19Speaker 15: Little look, though. People can rock that when they got
- 45:22Speaker 15: a bob.
- 45:23Speaker 3: The one you didn't know, Kyle, what was it? The
- 45:25Speaker 3: side part blowout? Do you guys know this by Cindy Crawford?
- 45:27Speaker 3: What's that? Does that make sense?
- 45:29Speaker 2: So if you look at her daughter, she kind of
- 45:30Speaker 2: has her hair like that in shards.
- 45:33Speaker 15: So your hair is in a side part, and then
- 45:34Speaker 15: you have a blowout.
- 45:35Speaker 3: I don't know what a blowout is.
- 45:36Speaker 4: A blowout is with like a blow dryer and like
- 45:38Speaker 4: a curl around brush.
- 45:39Speaker 11: Yeah, so you just have like more volume.
- 45:41Speaker 15: Big, voluminous curl.
- 45:42Speaker 16: Big hair.
- 45:43Speaker 2: Volume.
- 45:43Speaker 15: Side part.
- 45:44Speaker 3: Voluminous.
- 45:45Speaker 15: Voluminous hair. Thank you, Rich.
- 45:47Speaker 2: No, I wasn't getting there easily either.
- 45:51Speaker 6: After we play Minute to Win It, we are going
- 45:52Speaker 6: to get into why it's great to be single. And
- 45:54Speaker 6: we got Becky G tickets on the line for that.
- 45:57Speaker 6: But I think we're going to play Minute to Win It.
- 45:58Speaker 6: We got an Ann contestant here. Oh, we had in
- 46:01Speaker 6: the studio... Nina from Team Moms Baseball that's on Paramount Plus,
- 46:07Speaker 6: the whole show shot here. The whole video of her
- 46:09Speaker 6: in the studio with us is up on our YouTube
- 46:11Speaker 6: page at John Jane Rich. So go to YouTube, search
- 46:15Speaker 6: John Jane Rich, like and subscribe. And you can see
- 46:18Speaker 6: when she was hanging out with us this morning. It's
- 46:19Speaker 6: pretty cool.
- 46:21Speaker 11: She's delightful.
- 46:22Speaker 3: She is. All right.
- 46:23Speaker 6: We got $ 1, 000 of Pat Hickey's money. Pat is the
- 46:26Speaker 6: owner and the general manager of Peoria Ford. He's given
- 46:29Speaker 6: us $ 1, 000. We try to give it away every single day.
- 46:31Speaker 6: We've only given it away once in a year and
- 46:32Speaker 6: a half of doing this game.
- 46:34Speaker 3: Jessica, good morning. You are our contestant. How are you?
- 46:37Speaker 5: Good morning.
- 46:40Speaker 4: How are you?
- 46:41Speaker 2: Good morning.
- 46:42Speaker 3: What part of town are you in, and is it raining?
- 46:43Speaker 1: I'm in Tempe right now, and it is not raining.
- 46:48Speaker 3: There was some serious thunder this morning, man.
- 46:50Speaker 15: Yeah, for sure.
- 46:51Speaker 2: For sure.
- 46:51Speaker 6: It was crazy. I was doing my normal routine, cold plunge,
- 46:54Speaker 6: hot tub, and I was like... I, the lightning hit.
- 46:57Speaker 6: And then I was trying to count before you hear
- 46:59Speaker 6: the thunder. And I forgot what the rule was on that.
- 47:01Speaker 6: About a mile per second per sec. So then I
- 47:03Speaker 6: was like, it was getting closer and closer and closer.
- 47:05Speaker 6: And I was like, I got to just like jumped
- 47:06Speaker 6: in the hot tub. And then I was like, Oh
- 47:08Speaker 6: my God, I'm going to die in here. And I
- 47:09Speaker 6: was like, I got out of the hot tub. I
- 47:10Speaker 6: got to get in the cold plunge. I got to
- 47:11Speaker 6: get in the cold plunge. And I got in the
- 47:13Speaker 6: cold plunge. And it was like, I got to get out.
- 47:16Speaker 2: That's dangerous.
- 47:17Speaker 3: I was so scared. I posted on my store. Some
- 47:19Speaker 3: of it on my stories. Anyway, Jessica, you're ready to
- 47:21Speaker 3: win a thousand bucks.
- 47:25Speaker 1: Yes, let's do it.
- 47:26Speaker 3: Okay, let's do it.
- 47:27Speaker 4: John Jay and Rich have $ 1, 000 cash for you from
- 47:30Speaker 4: Peoria Ford right now.
- 47:31Speaker 6: Minute to win it.
- 47:33Speaker 2: Okay, 60 seconds on the clock. You get them all right.
- 47:35Speaker 2: You win $ 1, 000 of Patty Keys money from Peoria Ford.
- 47:37Speaker 2: Let's go. What pop star stars in Only Murders in
- 47:43Speaker 2: the Building?
- 47:47Speaker 17: I have no clue.
- 47:51Speaker 5: Taylor Swift. I know that's wrong.
- 47:54Speaker 11: That's not right.
- 47:57Speaker 15: Oh, no.
- 47:59Speaker 2: Selena Gomez. Looking for Selena Gomez.
- 48:04Speaker 8: Oh, wow.
- 48:06Speaker 2: That was so wrong.
- 48:07Speaker 6: We're going to set you up with a gift card
- 48:08Speaker 6: courtesy of Del Taco, Jessica.
- 48:10Speaker 3: Thanks for listening and thanks for playing.
- 48:13Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 48:14Speaker 3: All right, hold on.
- 48:15Speaker 6: We are going to get into, we got Becky G
- 48:16Speaker 6: tickets on the line. We're getting into why is it
- 48:19Speaker 6: great to be single?
- 48:20Speaker 3: We got into it about an hour ago, but we're
- 48:21Speaker 3: really going to get into it now because something happened
- 48:23Speaker 3: with my wife, I got to tell you. First, let's
- 48:24Speaker 3: say hi to Cassie. Cassie, what's up? You're on the air.
- 48:28Speaker 5: Hey, so I have kind of a deep question for
- 48:30Speaker 5: you all.
- 48:31Speaker 2: I'm wondering, so this is.
- 48:32Speaker 5: Related, John Jay, to the prediction of when you are
- 48:37Speaker 5: going to die.
- 48:38Speaker 21: And it's based on- No.
- 48:39Speaker 3: No, when I was going to die.
- 48:40Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, a psychic said that I was going
- 48:43Speaker 6: to die before my birthday, 2026. And I've been obsessed
- 48:46Speaker 6: with that for a long time, but now I made it.
- 48:48Speaker 3: Go ahead.
- 48:49Speaker 16: Exactly.
- 48:50Speaker 1: So if you could know when you were going to die,
- 48:53Speaker 1: would you want to know?
- 48:55Speaker 3: I would.
- 48:58Speaker 2: You would.
- 48:58Speaker 6: Which is why I do full-body MRIs. I'm a big
- 49:03Speaker 6: fan of the full-body MRI, and right now you can
- 49:05Speaker 6: go to Simon Med and go get one, and you
- 49:08Speaker 6: don't need to have a prescription.
- 49:09Speaker 3: And I was interviewing on the highly successful John J.
- 49:12Speaker 3: Van Ness podcast yesterday. Mm-hmm. Dr. Simon, who, by the way,
- 49:15Speaker 3: I didn't know was a real person.
- 49:16Speaker 2: He's the Simon of Simon Med?
- 49:18Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 49:18Speaker 2: Oh, that's fun.
- 49:20Speaker 3: Simon Med's been around since like, you know, it's just
- 49:21Speaker 3: part of like McDonald's.
- 49:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:22Speaker 13: Right.
- 49:23Speaker 6: But he's a guy. And so I interviewed him yesterday.
- 49:25Speaker 6: He's a guy. And get this, his dad is 105
- 49:29Speaker 6: years old.
- 49:29Speaker 15: Oh my goodness.
- 49:30Speaker 7: What a life.
- 49:31Speaker 2: I know.
- 49:31Speaker 3: I know. So this guy knows his stuff. But anyway,
- 49:34Speaker 3: I would want to know when I was going to die.
- 49:35Speaker 3: What about you, Kyle?
- 49:36Speaker 11: I don't think so. I think I'm going to leave
- 49:39Speaker 11: that a mystery. Because it's the day you die, no
- 49:43Speaker 11: matter what, right?
- 49:44Speaker 2: Like you can't change, right?
- 49:46Speaker 11: It's not like you can, you can go do all
- 49:48Speaker 11: the things you're doing, John Jay, for longevity to like
- 49:49Speaker 11: make it longer. It's like, that's the day you die.
- 49:52Speaker 3: And you know, like that movie, no matter what you do,
- 49:53Speaker 3: it's good.
- 49:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 49:54Speaker 2: Final destination.
- 49:55Speaker 7: Yeah, no, I think I don't.
- 49:56Speaker 3: What about you, Peyton?
- 49:57Speaker 15: I think I would.
- 49:58Speaker 4: So then I can decide how I want to live
- 50:00Speaker 4: my life.
- 50:00Speaker 15: Do I want to spend all my money and go
- 50:02Speaker 15: on vacation now? Or do I want to wait in
- 50:04Speaker 15: 10 years?
- 50:04Speaker 2: I mean, there is a bonus. If you think like,
- 50:06Speaker 2: let's say you're going to get hit by a bus. Well,
- 50:08Speaker 2: then I wouldn't skip the barbecue and eat vegetables that day.
- 50:10Speaker 2: I would get the barbecue.
- 50:11Speaker 14: Right.
- 50:12Speaker 2: So for that reason, yes. Yeah, I guess so.
- 50:15Speaker 3: What about you, Cassie?
- 50:16Speaker 21: I'm surprised.
- 50:18Speaker 13: I want to know.
- 50:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:20Speaker 13: Like Kyle with her death book, like you can.
- 50:22Speaker 3: Prepare, you could.
- 50:24Speaker 5: You know, like have a plan.
- 50:25Speaker 2: I don't know. Yeah. And the same with Peyton.
- 50:27Speaker 5: Like, yeah. Do I want to work another like 20
- 50:30Speaker 5: years or should I just go?
- 50:34Speaker 2: I got enough money to party for like a solid
- 50:36Speaker 2: month right now. That's pretty good.
- 50:42Speaker 11: I know it's a deep one.
- 50:43Speaker 3: It's a deep one this morning. Thank you, Cassie. Thanks
- 50:45Speaker 3: for listening.
- 50:48Speaker 4: All right.
- 50:49Speaker 6: So why is it great to be single? We got
- 50:51Speaker 6: Becky G tickets on the line, 877-937-1047. We got into
- 50:55Speaker 6: it about an hour ago. We got into it a
- 50:57Speaker 6: little bit in Second Aid Update. Laura, why is it
- 50:59Speaker 6: great to be single?
- 51:02Speaker 19: Because I get to decorate however I want, and I
- 51:05Speaker 19: don't have to worry about if he's going to like
- 51:07Speaker 19: it or not.
- 51:10Speaker 2: The thing is, though, when you're in a relationship, most
- 51:13Speaker 2: guys don't care anyway. You could probably still do whatever
- 51:15Speaker 2: you wanted.
- 51:15Speaker 15: But some guys do.
- 51:17Speaker 11: Some guys do, and it's like, if you want to
- 51:18Speaker 11: put pink ruffles everywhere, they may not.
- 51:21Speaker 2: Maybe you're a better man.
- 51:22Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 51:24Speaker 2: Well, maybe I just trust.
- 51:25Speaker 21: Mine wouldn't let me do anything.
- 51:27Speaker 2: Really? No.
- 51:30Speaker 3: I couldn't do anything.
- 51:31Speaker 14: It was too girly.
- 51:32Speaker 2: I needed to make more things more masculine and boring
- 51:37Speaker 2: colors and Yeah, that's why that's your action.
- 51:39Speaker 5: Life's too short.
- 51:40Speaker 2: I just wouldn't care. I don't think I would either.
- 51:42Speaker 2: One of the million reasons.
- 51:43Speaker 6: I don't care how my wife would decorate the house.
- 51:45Speaker 6: I feel like the house is hers. She can make
- 51:47Speaker 6: it as foo-foo or girly as she wants.
- 51:49Speaker 2: I need a good pillow and a good couch blanket
- 51:51Speaker 2: for when I'm there.
- 51:52Speaker 4: Well, Ann Rich, your wife is just like, I mean,
- 51:54Speaker 4: interior design is one of her things. And John Jay,
- 51:57Speaker 4: your wife, she just does everything. So it's like for
- 52:00Speaker 4: you two, I feel like you're kind of out of
- 52:01Speaker 4: the equation right here.
- 52:02Speaker 2: Oh, we don't get to participate?
- 52:03Speaker 16: No, no.
- 52:05Speaker 7: No, you don't get opinions if you're that.
- 52:07Speaker 12: Exactly, yes.
- 52:08Speaker 3: All right, Laura, hold on, hold on. You're in the running.
- 52:11Speaker 6: We got Becky G tickets on the line. We want
- 52:13Speaker 6: to know why it's great to be single. Precious, good morning.
- 52:17Speaker 16: Good morning.
- 52:18Speaker 3: Are you single?
- 52:21Speaker 9: I am, and I'm loving it.
- 52:24Speaker 3: How long have you been single?
- 52:25Speaker 9: It's been about two years now.
- 52:29Speaker 3: And why is it great to be single?
- 52:32Speaker 9: Because honestly, as a single mom, I really enjoy being
- 52:36Speaker 9: single because I get to dedicate my time and attention
- 52:40Speaker 9: to my kids. And we enjoy each other so much
- 52:43Speaker 9: more than when there's like a grumpy man around.
- 52:46Speaker 2: We're like men.
- 52:48Speaker 9: I just want all the attention. And there's been so
- 52:50Speaker 9: many times where guys I'm dating will, like, shoo my
- 52:54Speaker 9: kids away. I'm like, no.
- 52:56Speaker 14: Really?
- 52:56Speaker 9: If my babies want to snuggle with me, then you.
- 52:59Speaker 11: Get out of the bed.
- 53:00Speaker 2: Oh, oh, you're talking about in bed. I get that.
- 53:03Speaker 2: They're shooing them away when they're in bed with you,
- 53:04Speaker 2: I assume.
- 53:05Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 53:06Speaker 3: Okay.
- 53:07Speaker 21: Well, or, like, if the kids want to come into
- 53:09Speaker 21: the room or snuggle with me on the couch, or, like,
- 53:11Speaker 21: even when we go on, like, trips and stuff, they're like,
- 53:14Speaker 21: they just want all of my attention. And I'm like,
- 53:17Speaker 21: I want to spend time with my kids. These years
- 53:19Speaker 21: go by so fast.
- 53:20Speaker 2: That's truth.
- 53:22Speaker 21: Yeah, so I just feel like they get grumpy.
- 53:25Speaker 9: It's like having another child around, and then their bad
- 53:29Speaker 9: attitude ruins everything. My kids like me single, too.
- 53:33Speaker 15: I'm sure they do.
- 53:34Speaker 3: All right, precious. Hold on a line. That's good. You're
- 53:36Speaker 3: in the running for Becky G tickets.
- 53:38Speaker 2: Making some good cases here.
- 53:39Speaker 3: Hello. Good morning, John Jane Rich. Hello? Who's this? Hello?
- 53:53Speaker 3: I hear you. All right.
- 53:56Speaker 6: So my wife says to me, this is why I'm
- 53:57Speaker 6: bringing it up again, because, well, here's what she says.
- 54:01Speaker 3: So she's in this Mahjong group.
- 54:03Speaker 6: Mahjong's some game she plays, and she's really become obsessed
- 54:05Speaker 6: with it in the last couple months. And she takes
- 54:07Speaker 6: these Mahjong classes. And one of the girls in Mahjong
- 54:11Speaker 6: was talking about why it's so great to be single.
- 54:13Speaker 6: And this is the number one reason she said she
- 54:15Speaker 6: loves being single, okay? No whiskers in the sink. And
- 54:20Speaker 6: my wife said this to me while we were in
- 54:22Speaker 6: a hotel. when there were whiskers all over, I was shaving.
- 54:25Speaker 6: The hotel had one of those mirrors that zooms in
- 54:27Speaker 6: on your face. And I was like, oh my God,
- 54:29Speaker 6: do I not know how to shave? I was like
- 54:32Speaker 6: chunks everywhere and I was looking at my pimples. So
- 54:35Speaker 6: I started cleaning up. I was shaving my face and
- 54:38Speaker 6: it was amazing. And I was like, why don't we
- 54:40Speaker 6: have one of these? Apparently we do have one of
- 54:42Speaker 6: these at my house. So I was shaving it and
- 54:44Speaker 6: it was in the hotel. There were two sinks, but
- 54:46Speaker 6: this mirror was over her sink. And there was my
- 54:49Speaker 6: whiskers all over. And that's when she brought it up.
- 54:51Speaker 6: So she got all pissed off. So I thought she'd
- 54:52Speaker 6: like to be single. No whiskers in the sink. No
- 54:55Speaker 6: whiskers in the sink, man. So why is it great
- 54:57Speaker 6: to be single?
- 54:58Speaker 3: Lily, good morning.
- 55:00Speaker 18: Hi.
- 55:01Speaker 5: How are you guys?
- 55:02Speaker 16: Good.
- 55:02Speaker 3: How are you?
- 55:03Speaker 13: It's been decades, I think, since I talked to you guys.
- 55:07Speaker 11: Oh, yeah.
- 55:10Speaker 15: Newly divorced, about two years now.
- 55:12Speaker 5: Best thing about being single is no longer having to
- 55:15Speaker 5: clean the toilet after he goes and backpacking off of
- 55:19Speaker 5: the whiskers, the hocked loogies.
- 55:21Speaker 2: Disgusting.
- 55:23Speaker 19: Hated it.
- 55:24Speaker 16: Hated it with a passion.
- 55:27Speaker 14: I would scream at the top of my lungs, probably
- 55:30Speaker 14: why we're divorced now.
- 55:31Speaker 2: Yeah, sounds like it.
- 55:32Speaker 14: Yeah, disgusting.
- 55:35Speaker 7: Great to be single.
- 55:36Speaker 3: Disgusting. Okay, Lily, hold on, hold on.
- 55:39Speaker 2: Defiantly single.
- 55:40Speaker 13: Hello.
- 55:40Speaker 3: Good morning, John Jane Rich. Hello.
- 55:42Speaker 16: Hi.
- 55:43Speaker 13: I was hoping that I could speak on why it's
- 55:47Speaker 13: better to be single.
- 55:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 55:48Speaker 3: What's your name?
- 55:49Speaker 13: My name's Elizabeth.
- 55:50Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, Elizabeth. Why is it great to be single?
- 55:53Speaker 13: Why is it great?
- 55:54Speaker 5: There are a lot of reasons.
- 55:56Speaker 13: I've been single for about six years now, so I'm
- 55:59Speaker 13: going to say one, I could eat the same thing
- 56:01Speaker 13: on repeat, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I don't have to
- 56:04Speaker 13: worry about coming home and cooking dinner. and cooking something different.
- 56:11Speaker 13: I'm going to say, too, if I want to clean,
- 56:13Speaker 13: I can clean. If I'm tired because I had a
- 56:16Speaker 13: long day at work, then I don't have to worry
- 56:18Speaker 13: about it. I don't need to snuggle if my head
- 56:22Speaker 13: hurts and I'm tired.
- 56:23Speaker 5: I don't want.
- 56:27Speaker 13: To go out and do, what should we call it?
- 56:31Speaker 13: You know, sometimes we need to go out and Be
- 56:35Speaker 13: a wifey and be presentable.
- 56:37Speaker 2: And do whatnot.
- 56:39Speaker 13: I don't have to do that.
- 56:40Speaker 2: She doesn't have to do whatnot.
- 56:41Speaker 15: You can love it if you want.
- 56:43Speaker 3: That's pretty good. That's a pretty good list.
- 56:45Speaker 2: I didn't do.
- 56:46Speaker 1: That for many, many years.
- 56:47Speaker 13: And so I don't think I'm, you know, I like
- 56:50Speaker 13: to stay at home. I like to have my hair up.
- 56:52Speaker 13: And yes, I do like to look cute and whatnot.
- 56:56Speaker 13: But sometimes like a girl gets tired of that.
- 56:58Speaker 3: Okay. Hold on the line. You're in the running. All right. 877-937-1047.
- 57:02Speaker 6: We can do another round of this. Why is it
- 57:04Speaker 6: great to be single? We got Becky G tickets on
- 57:06Speaker 6: the line. That's more of that next with John Jay
- 57:08Speaker 6: and Rich.
- 57:09Speaker 3: More coming up next. Kat, why is it great to
- 57:11Speaker 3: be single?
- 57:13Speaker 7: Good morning.
- 57:14Speaker 5: It's great to be single because I don't share my.
- 57:17Speaker 11: Dogs and their cuddles.
- 57:20Speaker 3: Oh, selfish.
- 57:21Speaker 19: I give them all to myself.
- 57:24Speaker 6: That's a great reason to be single. Or you get
- 57:27Speaker 6: more dogs. We have lots of dogs in my house,
- 57:29Speaker 6: lots of cuddles.
- 57:30Speaker 3: Thanks, Kat.
- 57:31Speaker 5: Yeah, I have two in my house.
- 57:32Speaker 19: One of them is like a mouthy poo, and he
- 57:36Speaker 19: is very cuddly.
- 57:37Speaker 5: And I don't want to share that with anybody.
- 57:40Speaker 3: I know what you mean.
- 57:41Speaker 6: I have this dog, Pablo. He's the greatest freaking dog,
- 57:44Speaker 6: and he guilts me. If I'm walking by him, he
- 57:46Speaker 6: rolls over to be petted. And I'm like, I won't go, oh,
- 57:49Speaker 6: if I don't pet him, I feel like a jerk.
- 57:52Speaker 3: Thanks, Kat. Sarah, why is it great to be single? Sarah?
- 58:00Speaker 2: Oh, sorry.
- 58:01Speaker 1: I didn't hear you say my name.
- 58:03Speaker 14: Hi.
- 58:04Speaker 1: I'd just like to say I think it's funny that
- 58:05Speaker 1: her name is Kat.
- 58:06Speaker 5: And she's talking about dogs.
- 58:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 58:10Speaker 1: But, no, I think it's wonderful to be single because
- 58:12Speaker 1: I do not have to excuse myself to go into
- 58:15Speaker 1: another room to fart.
- 58:19Speaker 2: That's got more power to it than you would imagine
- 58:24Speaker 2: at first, right? I mean, it's free will. Yeah. Every
- 58:26Speaker 2: room is your room.
- 58:27Speaker 11: So let her rip.
- 58:28Speaker 13: Exactly.
- 58:29Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 58:29Speaker 1: And I don't have to blame it on the dog either.
- 58:31Speaker 13: Right.
- 58:33Speaker 15: That's funny.
- 58:34Speaker 6: Have you seen those videos on Instagram where the girl
- 58:36Speaker 6: that comes home all dressed up from a date closes
- 58:38Speaker 6: the door, kicks off her shoes and just rips one?
- 58:43Speaker 3: Okay, Sarah, hold on the line. That's a good one. Ricky. Ricky,
- 58:48Speaker 3: why is it great to be single?
- 58:50Speaker 17: Yeah, so this is coming from the perspective of a
- 58:53Speaker 17: happily married woman for like 10 years. But the only
- 58:57Speaker 17: thing that I can remember that was so great when
- 59:00Speaker 17: I was single was that I was an independent woman,
- 59:03Speaker 17: could do anything and everything. I could change the tire.
- 59:06Speaker 17: I could, you know, I didn't rely on anybody. Well,
- 59:09Speaker 17: now my husband has treated me like the princess that
- 59:11Speaker 17: I am for so many years that I don't lift
- 59:13Speaker 17: a finger. I can't do anything for myself. And so
- 59:16Speaker 17: I'm like, if I needed to change a tire, I can't.
- 59:18Speaker 7: I'm not going to.
- 59:21Speaker 15: It's not that you can't it's that you won't well.
- 59:25Speaker 17: I'm I have been so like brainwashed by my loving
- 59:28Speaker 17: husband that I can't there like there's no way.
- 59:30Speaker 2: You forgot you forgot how to be independent yeah I
- 59:33Speaker 2: it's great.
- 59:33Speaker 17: To not be single no more independence it's great to
- 59:36Speaker 17: not be.
- 59:37Speaker 19: Single yeah exactly but well no because I I'm like
- 59:41Speaker 19: that was great about me I was You know, it
- 59:43Speaker 19: was strong.
- 59:44Speaker 9: It was good.
- 59:45Speaker 19: But now I'm like, oh, you did this to me.
- 59:47Speaker 19: You know, so now I'm like, if we're fighting, I
- 59:49Speaker 19: have to wait instead of just doing it myself.
- 59:51Speaker 3: Okay, Ricky, hold on.
- 59:55Speaker 6: This whole thing started because my wife was talking about
- 59:57Speaker 6: one of her friends in her Mahjong group said it's
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: great to be single because there's no whiskers in your sink.
- 1:00:02Speaker 6: And by the way, because my wife loves Mahjong so much,
- 1:00:05Speaker 6: she has created.
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: A special event. At the Love Pup Shelter called Mahjong
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: and Mutts.
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: Oh, fun.
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: So people can play. I think she's got like 10
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: openings left. So if you go to Love Pup Foundation
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: on Instagram, you can sign up and you can play
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: Mahjong with my wife and her friends at the shelter
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: in a couple weeks or a week.
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: It's soon.
- 1:00:25Speaker 15: That is so creative of her. Like, she is really...
- 1:00:29Speaker 15: being unique.
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: When it comes to getting these pups out there and
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: getting adopted and into homes.
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: It's either called Mutts and Mahjong or Mahjong and Mutts.
- 1:00:36Speaker 7: I love that.
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: Either way.
- 1:00:37Speaker 15: I mean, it's a play on words. It's great.
- 1:00:39Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: So who should win the Becky G ticket, you guys?
- 1:00:42Speaker 11: I really am liking Sarah.
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: I know.
- 1:00:44Speaker 15: Sarah's was so real.
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: So relatable.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: Sarah, what was yours again? What was yours real quick?
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: Yeah, mine was you do not have to go into
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: a separate room simply to fart.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: Okay. You probably got a lot of people thinking about
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: breaking up with their guy right now just for that reason.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: Exactly. Listen, on a side note, my sister-in-law has told me,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: this is what she said, she has never, ever, in
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: her entire time being with my brother, ever farted in
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: front of him.
- 1:01:13Speaker 6: Ever?
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: Ever. How's that possible?
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: I don't know if I believe it, but, like, I mean,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: my brother has agreed. He's like, yeah, she's never done
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: it in front of me. And I'm like, you know,
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: I mean, good for her, but... Man, that must be
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: really tough to hold it in that many times.
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: All right, Sarah, hold on. We're going to set you
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: up with those Becky G's.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: Yes, Sarah, for the win.
- 1:01:33Speaker 16: Awesome.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Thank you. The joys of being a single lady.
- 1:01:36Speaker 16: Hold on the line.
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: We got Matt Rife tickets in about 30 minutes. We're
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: going to get into happy people now.
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: Happy couples. We do that after the single anthem. Beyonce,
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: John Dean Rich. So get this.
- 1:01:52Speaker 15: Okay.
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: A music sales and chart tracker called Chart Data released
- 1:01:58Speaker 6: a list of the top, the 10 highest selling songs
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: released in 2026. Country dominates the top half the list,
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: but the number one song, like I thought, like if
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: you were to.
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: Guess, you would probably go.
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: Ella Langley.
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: She's in Texas. Let me go over the top 10
- 1:02:16Speaker 6: with you real quick. Sleepless in a Hotel Room, Luke Combs.
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: Risk It All, Bruno Mars is number nine. Drop Dead,
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: Olivia Rodrigo. Be By You by Luke Combs. I Can't
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: Love You Anymore, Ella Langley and Morgan Wallen.
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: E85, E85, Don Toliver.
- 1:02:37Speaker 15: That's such a good song.
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: Boston by Stella Lefty. Number three is Janice, STFU by Drake.
- 1:02:44Speaker 15: Oh, that's good too.
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: Number two is I Just Might by Bruno Mars. And
- 1:02:47Speaker 6: this is the number one selling song in 2026 songs.
- 1:02:53Speaker 15: She drinks wine by the glass, not by the bottle.
- 1:02:58Speaker 13: She ain't stuck on the past, ain't worried about tomorrow.
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: She's a lover, a mother, a sister and wife.
- 1:03:06Speaker 15: She rolls over in the morning to.
- 1:03:09Speaker 7: The love of her life. Only smokes one on vacation,
- 1:03:13Speaker 7: says just what she thinks.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: She don't need validation or much of anything.
- 1:03:20Speaker 7: I just want to be her.
- 1:03:21Speaker 15: So bad it hurts.
- 1:03:23Speaker 12: Oh, my God.
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: I heard this song. I've been listening to Ella Langley nonstop.
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: I know this.
- 1:03:27Speaker 7: I love this song. It's a good song.
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: I was like thinking it was so clever. I want
- 1:03:34Speaker 6: to be heard so bad. I heard so bad. I
- 1:03:36Speaker 6: want to be heard.
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: I thought that was so clever.
- 1:03:38Speaker 11: It is very clever.
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: I'm going to go see her, you know.
- 1:03:41Speaker 15: Oh, you decided you are going to go?
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: Kinda.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: You're just like speaking.
- 1:03:47Speaker 15: You're convincing yourself right now.
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: I've been listening to her playlist on a loop because
- 1:03:52Speaker 6: I really want to go to know her music, but
- 1:03:54Speaker 6: I like her more and more and more.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: Her live shows are pretty good too.
- 1:03:57Speaker 11: Well, because your friends invited you and you didn't want
- 1:03:59Speaker 11: to be the lame friends because you didn't know any
- 1:04:00Speaker 11: of the songs, but now you're like, you're learning the songs.
- 1:04:02Speaker 11: You'll be able to sing along too.
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: I didn't want to go because I think I'm a
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: lame concert goer.
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: But not if you like this song and the artist.
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: I saw you at Drake.
- 1:04:11Speaker 15: You were vibing.
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: I was sitting in a chair.
- 1:04:14Speaker 11: Your husband was vibing.
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: So look, we got into why it's great to be single.
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: Now think about being happy. If you're a happy couple.
- 1:04:26Speaker 13: Yes.
- 1:04:27Speaker 11: So there was a question that was posed online. Do
- 1:04:30Speaker 11: happy couples actually need more fun together? And then Psychology
- 1:04:34Speaker 11: Today did this piece about something they call joint savoring.
- 1:04:39Speaker 11: And I kind of love this because it's saying basically
- 1:04:42Speaker 11: couples don't just benefit from doing enjoyable things together. They
- 1:04:45Speaker 11: benefit from actively noticing and sharing the enjoyment while it's happening.
- 1:04:50Speaker 11: So not that it's not enough to go do fun
- 1:04:54Speaker 11: things together, but it heightens your experience and really kind
- 1:04:57Speaker 11: of makes you a more happy couple.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: I get that.
- 1:04:59Speaker 11: If per se, while you're out having a great night,
- 1:05:02Speaker 11: you look at each other and say, this is such
- 1:05:04Speaker 11: a great night.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: We should do this more.
- 1:05:07Speaker 11: Enjoying myself. Like I am enjoying being with you. Naming
- 1:05:10Speaker 11: a good moment can actually make it more meaningful. Even
- 1:05:13Speaker 11: if you're thinking it, just say it out loud. Cause
- 1:05:16Speaker 11: then your joint, you're savoring that moment with your partner.
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: That's a really interesting point of view because you know,
- 1:05:21Speaker 6: over the weekend, I was with my wife. We were
- 1:05:24Speaker 6: in Cancun for a medical convention and I was supposed
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: to do a bunch of podcasts and do whatever.
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: And it didn't happen. And none of the podcasts happened.
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: I was just, and I was like, and she was like,
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: we're in beautiful Cancun for three days in this fun.
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: I was like, No.
- 1:05:41Speaker 11: No, that's not joint savoring.
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: She was savoring it.
- 1:05:45Speaker 11: That's your wife savoring it.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: That's not a good example of that. This is, you have.
- 1:05:48Speaker 11: To enjoy it and savor it together. So for instance,
- 1:05:51Speaker 11: if you are doing something new together, like they say,
- 1:05:55Speaker 11: this is really great because novelty gives couples something fresh
- 1:05:59Speaker 11: to share. And then another positive thing they say is
- 1:06:03Speaker 11: if you are like sitting with your partner just on
- 1:06:05Speaker 11: the couch or in the car driving somewhere, remembering those moments.
- 1:06:09Speaker 11: Do you remember when we tried paintballing? That was so fun.
- 1:06:13Speaker 11: And reliving moments where you were having a great time
- 1:06:16Speaker 11: can actually make you a happier couple.
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: That makes complete sense to me because I feel like
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: I do that a lot with my girlfriends. Like whenever
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: we go out to go do something fun together, like
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: it's always a text in the group chat.
- 1:06:28Speaker 15: That was so much fun. I had the best time.
- 1:06:30Speaker 15: Let's do it again.
- 1:06:30Speaker 4: Or if we're in the car driving somewhere, we're reminiscing
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: on the old times. And I feel like we constantly
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: do that. And every time I'm with my friends, I
- 1:06:37Speaker 4: feel fulfilled. Now, if I do it with my partner
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: and being more intentional with that, I think I could
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: get that.
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: Same exact feeling. Your partner, you're married, you're a husband now. Exactly.
- 1:06:45Speaker 11: Yeah, my man. I had read this study and so
- 1:06:50Speaker 11: it was kind of like in the back of my mind.
- 1:06:51Speaker 11: And one of the things on here is like, celebrating
- 1:06:54Speaker 11: tiny wins, not just like huge milestones for your relationship,
- 1:06:57Speaker 11: but like everyday positives too.
- 1:06:59Speaker 7: And last night.
- 1:07:00Speaker 11: We were literally laying in bed. If you guys remember
- 1:07:02Speaker 11: when we got our puppy, we had a sleep divorce.
- 1:07:04Speaker 11: We did not sleep in the same bed together for months.
- 1:07:08Speaker 11: And I looked at my husband and I go, let's
- 1:07:10Speaker 11: celebrate this small win right now. We are laying in
- 1:07:12Speaker 11: bed together. We are about to go to sleep and
- 1:07:14Speaker 11: both dogs are in the bed.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: Being peaceful and getting along.
- 1:07:18Speaker 15: Let's celebrate this moment.
- 1:07:21Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: And I don't know if Scott necessarily appreciated it as.
- 1:07:23Speaker 11: Much as I did, but I was like, this is
- 1:07:25Speaker 11: really good.
- 1:07:26Speaker 7: This is also a good one.
- 1:07:27Speaker 11: And John Jay, you said that you've been actively trying
- 1:07:30Speaker 11: to do this. And so you didn't even know you're
- 1:07:33Speaker 11: putting an effort to be a happier couple by putting
- 1:07:36Speaker 11: your phone down when something good is happening.
- 1:07:38Speaker 8: Oh, yeah.
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: It's a problem.
- 1:07:40Speaker 11: Your active attention helps the moment register. So oftentimes, like,
- 1:07:44Speaker 11: I'll have my phone with me and I'm like, well,
- 1:07:46Speaker 11: I want to take a picture of this. But then
- 1:07:47Speaker 11: you're not necessarily actively being in the moment. And so
- 1:07:53Speaker 11: that can actually make you a happier couple just by
- 1:07:55Speaker 11: doing that. And then they also say one of the
- 1:07:57Speaker 11: most important things is having little traditions. So repeated positive
- 1:08:02Speaker 11: experiences just become part of your shared identity. Like, We
- 1:08:06Speaker 11: always go get coffee together on National Coffee Day.
- 1:08:08Speaker 7: Why wouldn't we?
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:08:10Speaker 11: It's what we do.
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: That's why I think the little once a week date,
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: even if it's like in the afternoon and it's one
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: little thing, is such a big deal. And one of
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: my favorite things to do right now with Stacey... is
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: it doesn't cost anything, but I love going to an
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: open house in a neighborhood. I'm with you on that.
- 1:08:24Speaker 16: It's so fun.
- 1:08:24Speaker 14: I love that.
- 1:08:25Speaker 17: Sign me up.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: I love it.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: I know.
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: Especially if it's somebody's house.
- 1:08:29Speaker 11: It's so fascinating.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:08:30Speaker 15: I want to be nosy.
- 1:08:31Speaker 11: That's why I relate to Nina. Yeah.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: Oh, my God. She's like, of course I'm going to
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: walk through your house. Like, I feel the same way.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: Does that happen in an episode or something?
- 1:08:40Speaker 11: Yeah, she walks through Riley's house.
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: They get this big old house, and she wants to
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: see what's up there. So she just takes off and
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: goes and checks it out.
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 1:08:48Speaker 11: So last on this list together, I think that this
- 1:08:50Speaker 11: is actually very important because it is looking forward to
- 1:08:54Speaker 11: something together. Sort of having anticipation itself can add enjoyment,
- 1:08:59Speaker 11: but also making plans together helps you work towards a
- 1:09:02Speaker 11: common goal. And that can actually make you a happier couple.
- 1:09:05Speaker 11: And I kind of love that because it kind of
- 1:09:08Speaker 11: makes you more of a team. Like we're looking forward
- 1:09:10Speaker 11: to this together because we're in this together and we
- 1:09:13Speaker 11: get to do this and experience this together.
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: That's good stuff, Kyle. Good, happy couple stuff. You know, Peyton,
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: you said something that really stuck with me. You said
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: something about being fulfilled.
- 1:09:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:09:22Speaker 6: So I always thought it was for-filled until I wrote
- 1:09:25Speaker 6: it down. I write it down the right way, full-filled.
- 1:09:29Speaker 6: But I always say for-filled.
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: For your filled.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: Man, I'm so fulfilled.
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: It's full-filled.
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: It's kind of like when you, you know the word bury,
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: when you bury somebody?
- 1:09:39Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: Oh, it was buried in the ground. When you read it,
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: it's burry.
- 1:09:41Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: So weird.
- 1:09:43Speaker 15: I know.
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: Fulfilled, for-filled.
- 1:09:45Speaker 11: I kind of feel like any word you say over
- 1:09:47Speaker 11: and over again, you start to go, is that really
- 1:09:48Speaker 11: the word? Like, why is that the word?
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: Fulfilled.
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: Fulfilled. Man, I'm really fulfilled. Fulfilled.
- 1:09:55Speaker 6: You know, you did say it's National Coffee Day today.
- 1:09:58Speaker 6: We've been talking about that this morning. I have some
- 1:09:59Speaker 6: quick coffee trivia.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: Oh, really?
- 1:10:01Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 1:10:02Speaker 16: Okay.
- 1:10:02Speaker 14: Ready?
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: Yeah. So is it a real coffee brand or is
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: this something I just made up?
- 1:10:08Speaker 15: Okay.
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:10:10Speaker 6: Rich, Death Wish Coffee. So if I give you, if
- 1:10:12Speaker 6: it's a real Joe, you say Joe, right?
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: Cup of Joe. Joe. Or no Joe.
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: No Joe.
- 1:10:17Speaker 14: Okay.
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: Death Wish Coffee.
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: That is Joe.
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: Joe, it is.
- 1:10:23Speaker 6: Death Wish Coffee is an American coffee brand out of Albany,
- 1:10:25Speaker 6: New York, famous for producing exceptionally strong high-caffeine coffee.
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: Peyton, the human bean.
- 1:10:30Speaker 15: Ooh, that definitely sounds like Joe.
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: Joe, it is. Human bean currently has 260 locations.
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: A couple of them around here.
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: I've seen them. Kyle, Jittery Joe's.
- 1:10:40Speaker 11: I love that, but then I'm going to say no Joe.
- 1:10:43Speaker 3: It is a Joe.
- 1:10:43Speaker 6: Jittery Joe's real coffee company with multiple cafe locations, primarily
- 1:10:47Speaker 6: in Georgia.
- 1:10:47Speaker 15: I don't like that jittery feeling.
- 1:10:48Speaker 11: I feel like it would make you feel negative towards it,
- 1:10:51Speaker 11: but okay.
- 1:10:52Speaker 15: All right, Jittery Joe's.
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: Rich, Aroma Joe's. No Joe. It is a Joe.
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: Oh, it is a Joe.
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: New England coffee chain known for drive-thrus and friendly service. Peyton,
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: Mocha Joe's.
- 1:11:01Speaker 15: That's cute.
- 1:11:02Speaker 16: No Joe.
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: No Joe.
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: That's a.
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: Kirby enthusiasm. Kyle, Latte Larry's.
- 1:11:09Speaker 20: Uh.
- 1:11:10Speaker 11: I want this to be real, so I'm going to
- 1:11:11Speaker 11: say that's Joe.
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: No Joe.
- 1:11:14Speaker 15: Come on, Larry. Open up Latte Larry.
- 1:11:17Speaker 11: Great idea for all the Larrys out there.
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: It is from Kirby Enthusiasm. He opened it next to
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: Mocha Joe's.
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: Spite Store.
- 1:11:23Speaker 11: Okay.
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: Rich Central Perk.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: Central Perk, no Joe, but it's Friends, right?
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: Friends. Peyton, Hot Bikini Brew.
- 1:11:31Speaker 15: Oh, yep, that's definitely Joe.
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: It is a Joe.
- 1:11:34Speaker 6: Hot Bikini Brews, a coffee chain that has good looking
- 1:11:37Speaker 6: women serve coffee in the morning wearing bikinis.
- 1:11:38Speaker 15: Which it's a bummer when they're not wearing bikinis because
- 1:11:40Speaker 15: sometimes they aren't.
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: Because there's also the one here, Bikini Beans.
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: Peyton, Hooters Coffee of Clearwater, Florida.
- 1:11:49Speaker 15: I'm going to say that's a Joe.
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: No Joe.
- 1:11:51Speaker 6: What?
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: No Joe. Kyle, Badass Coffee of Vermont.
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:11:57Speaker 11: There's, yes, yes, that's Joe.
- 1:11:59Speaker 3: No Joe.
- 1:11:59Speaker 12: What?
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: Rich, Badass Coffee of Hawaii. Ah, Joe. That is a Joe. Peyton,
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: Bottoms Up Espresso.
- 1:12:10Speaker 14: No, Joe.
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: It is a Joe.
- 1:12:11Speaker 9: Oh.
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: Kyle, Scooter's Coffee.
- 1:12:14Speaker 11: I love Scooter's Coffee. That's definitely a Joe.
- 1:12:16Speaker 6: It's a Joe. That's a Joe. We got Matt Rife tickets.
- 1:12:19Speaker 6: They can be yours in less than 20 minutes. First,
- 1:12:21Speaker 6: Kyle Payne breaking down what's in entertainment like.
- 1:12:23Speaker 11: I will tell you who got really, really jealous of Drake,
- 1:12:27Speaker 11: and I think it might be a little celebrity brewing here.
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: Brewing? Coffee jokes.
- 1:12:32Speaker 11: Coffee jokes. So many coffee jokes today.
- 1:12:35Speaker 7: That's next with John Jane Rich.
- 1:12:36Speaker 15: There's nothing I won't do.
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: I'd risk it.
- 1:12:43Speaker 12: All for you.
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: Hey, do you remember.
- 1:12:51Speaker 6: Yesterday, I was telling you guys about when Nirvana got
- 1:12:53Speaker 6: up to get the Video Vanguard Award at the VMAs,
- 1:12:56Speaker 6: how the three guys got up and I was really
- 1:12:58Speaker 6: irritated by the guy lighting a cigarette.
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: Do you know what that's about?
- 1:13:02Speaker 6: That's apparently, that's what Kurt Cobain did when they won
- 1:13:05Speaker 6: a VMA. I didn't know that until a bunch of
- 1:13:07Speaker 6: people messaged me.
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: Oh, so it was like a tribute.
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: It was a tribute.
- 1:13:09Speaker 11: That makes so much more sense.
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: He was doing exactly what Kurt Cobain did and I
- 1:13:13Speaker 3: didn't know that.
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: I didn't either. I'm a pretty big Nirvana fan.
- 1:13:16Speaker 15: So does that make it really cool that he did that?
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: No, it just explains it because before I thought, what
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: a jerk.
- 1:13:22Speaker 14: I know.
- 1:13:22Speaker 11: We were like, that was a distraction. Well, you know,
- 1:13:24Speaker 11: the ratings for the VMAs this year was 50% more
- 1:13:27Speaker 11: than last year, which is like this year pulled in
- 1:13:30Speaker 11: 8.43 million viewers, which is twice as many as they
- 1:13:32Speaker 11: had last year.
- 1:13:33Speaker 7: So it was working.
- 1:13:34Speaker 11: Whatever they were doing, it was working.
- 1:13:35Speaker 15: It was Snoop Dogg.
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: Maybe, but I think it was just a better show
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: than it was last year too. Like, I thought the
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: performances were worth watching. I liked them all.
- 1:13:43Speaker 11: One of the performances was Bruno Mars. We just played
- 1:13:45Speaker 11: Bruno Mars, and I think he would risk it all
- 1:13:46Speaker 11: for Carol G. I don't know if you guys saw
- 1:13:49Speaker 11: Drake surprise everybody at Carol G's Houston show.
- 1:13:51Speaker 3: So good.
- 1:13:51Speaker 11: Performed with her, danced with her, and Bruno Mars, he
- 1:13:54Speaker 11: was getting super jelly. He was very jelly. He did
- 1:13:56Speaker 11: not appreciate seeing his Latina crush with another man. And
- 1:13:59Speaker 11: so he posted himself dramatically staring out the window of
- 1:14:03Speaker 11: his private jet saying, I have to get her back.
- 1:14:05Speaker 11: I must get her back. I will get her back.
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: My favorite thing about that post, like, yeah, okay, Bruni,
- 1:14:10Speaker 4: your little caption, your picture's great. It's the fact that
- 1:14:13Speaker 4: he put Drake's Marvin's Room as the song, which is
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: like the ultimate sad boy anthem that Drake has. So
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: I thought that was pretty iconic.
- 1:14:23Speaker 7: There's a little sense of humor in it as well.
- 1:14:26Speaker 11: Harry Styles had a sense of humor when he noticed
- 1:14:28Speaker 11: at one of his concerts the other night that there
- 1:14:31Speaker 11: was a family and the kids with the family literally
- 1:14:34Speaker 11: fell asleep. So he decided to check in.
- 1:14:37Speaker 7: On the family and kind of see if they needed anything.
- 1:14:40Speaker 12: If you guys need anything, like a pillow or maybe
- 1:14:44Speaker 12: a Red Bull, wouldn't suggest it.
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: For a roll-up, I think, big go.
- 1:14:50Speaker 16: Risky.
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: Risky.
- 1:14:53Speaker 11: I'm sure the family was happy to be called out
- 1:14:55Speaker 11: from that, but I can't imagine spending all that money
- 1:14:57Speaker 11: on Harry Styles tickets and your kids are just sitting
- 1:14:59Speaker 11: there sleeping. It's like, okay, I guess you didn't have
- 1:15:01Speaker 11: to get a babysitter, so that works. Anne Hathaway, I guess,
- 1:15:05Speaker 11: was all set to do Hot Ones because, you know,
- 1:15:08Speaker 11: the show actually comes up in her new movie, Verity,
- 1:15:11Speaker 11: but she was told she cannot... I thought that I
- 1:15:14Speaker 11: was going to be able to do the hot ones
- 1:15:15Speaker 11: challenge to do press for this film because it just
- 1:15:18Speaker 11: made sense.
- 1:15:18Speaker 7: But then I got pregnant and my doctor said I
- 1:15:21Speaker 7: couldn't do it because I might go into early labor.
- 1:15:24Speaker 7: So I still haven't done the gauntlet yet.
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: I'm not sure when that's going to happen.
- 1:15:27Speaker 3: Maybe next year.
- 1:15:28Speaker 11: That's what they say about those spicy things. That is
- 1:15:31Speaker 11: like something that's true. So she doesn't want early labor.
- 1:15:34Speaker 11: We can honor that.
- 1:15:36Speaker 4: Jacob Elordi and Kendall Jenner, they were out walking out
- 1:15:38Speaker 4: and about after Kendall had walked in Milan Fashion Week.
- 1:15:42Speaker 4: When paparazzi started following them, they had their flashes on.
- 1:15:45Speaker 4: Jacob starts putting his sunglasses on. Kendall didn't have much
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: to say, but Jacob did.
- 1:15:50Speaker 18: No flash, just let us walk.
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: Just let us go.
- 1:15:55Speaker 16: So bounce, please.
- 1:15:57Speaker 15: So Jacob will already.
- 1:15:58Speaker 11: Just let us go.
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: He's from Australia.
- 1:16:01Speaker 15: Yeah, he's like, no flashes, please just let us walk.
- 1:16:04Speaker 15: So bounce.
- 1:16:05Speaker 11: Dude, you're with Kendall Jenner now. Get used to the flashes.
- 1:16:07Speaker 4: And that's where, to me, I was like, Kendall was
- 1:16:10Speaker 4: very tight-lipped. But I'm like, since she, like, could walk,
- 1:16:14Speaker 4: she has been right in the paparazzi. I'm like, babe,
- 1:16:16Speaker 4: you are with a reality star now.
- 1:16:18Speaker 15: A totally different game.
- 1:16:19Speaker 11: Don't you wonder what their conversation was like in the
- 1:16:21Speaker 11: car afterwards?
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: Afterwards, she's like, yeah.
- 1:16:23Speaker 11: Okay, this is going to be a thing.
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: This happens.
- 1:16:25Speaker 7: That's what they want.
- 1:16:26Speaker 11: They want you to say that.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: You need to chill, Jacob.
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: You were shocked by his accent. Did you see the
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: couple from, what was the show we watched with the
- 1:16:33Speaker 3: hockey guy and the girl?
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: What was that show we watched?
- 1:16:36Speaker 11: I know, it's called Off Campus, right?
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: Off Campus. Did you see when they were at the VMAs?
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: And she speaks. And she's like, hello. It's good to
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: be here. We're going to go live with the VMAs.
- 1:16:44Speaker 3: And I'm like, whoa.
- 1:16:45Speaker 11: It always throws me off.
- 1:16:46Speaker 10: It really does.
- 1:16:47Speaker 4: Ray, she is setting the record straight about her love life.
- 1:16:50Speaker 4: So a few weeks ago, she was seen at Six
- 1:16:53Speaker 4: Flags Magic Mountain with Michael B.
- 1:16:54Speaker 22: Jordan.
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: And everyone's like, baby.
- 1:16:55Speaker 15: They are dating. This is definitely happening. And she's like, no,
- 1:16:59Speaker 15: we're just friends who like roller coasters. And I'm like, okay, Ray.
- 1:17:02Speaker 15: And then she hinted at maybe.
- 1:17:04Speaker 4: Them doing some like undercover behind the scenes collaboration. And
- 1:17:09Speaker 4: I'm like, even if you are doing that, I don't
- 1:17:11Speaker 4: think you would go to Magic Mountain with him if
- 1:17:13Speaker 4: that was it.
- 1:17:13Speaker 15: It's Michael B.
- 1:17:14Speaker 21: Jordan.
- 1:17:15Speaker 7: That's a date.
- 1:17:16Speaker 11: Maybe you're not dating.
- 1:17:17Speaker 6: They think they're not going to get recognized walking around.
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: Magic Mountain together?
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: That looks like Michael B.
- 1:17:23Speaker 6: Jordan.
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: No, it can't be. Why would he be with Ray?
- 1:17:27Speaker 6: I don't think I recognize Ray, but I recognize Michael B.
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: Jordan for sure.
- 1:17:32Speaker 7: That's unbelievable.
- 1:17:33Speaker 11: Jay-Z has this new HBO series.
- 1:17:35Speaker 7: I don't know if you guys have seen this.
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I've been watching it.
- 1:17:37Speaker 11: Jay-Z in 8. So he sits down with legendary producer
- 1:17:40Speaker 11: Rick Rubin, listens back to songs throughout his career, and
- 1:17:42Speaker 11: kind of talks about what was really happening in his
- 1:17:44Speaker 11: life when he wrote them. And when they got to 444,
- 1:17:48Speaker 11: which is the song he apologized for cheating on Beyonce on,
- 1:17:51Speaker 11: he actually got really emotional.
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: Let's hear 444. Come on, man. Come on, Rick.
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: Man, I didn't hear that song since I made it.
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: Is that true?
- 1:18:02Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:18:03Speaker 3: I didn't know that.
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: Yeah. So it was just like, So raw, so honest.
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: It's unbelievable.
- 1:18:10Speaker 22: And then you like the last verse, you deal with
- 1:18:13Speaker 22: your children and the day they're going to hear this,
- 1:18:17Speaker 22: they're going to grow up.
- 1:18:18Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 1:18:19Speaker 11: It's going to be awkward. It's going to be awkward
- 1:18:20Speaker 11: when the kids find out.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: If you're a Jay-Z fan, it's a good show. It's
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: a good show. And what I love is how loud
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: they play the music. So when you're watching it, you're
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: forced to turn it up because Jay-Z talks kind of low.
- 1:18:30Speaker 15: I don't know if it's.
- 1:18:31Speaker 4: Going to be as awkward as when they see the
- 1:18:33Speaker 4: elevator video of Solange and Jay-Z.
- 1:18:35Speaker 15: I think that might be more awkward.
- 1:18:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:18:37Speaker 15: Your auntie put your paws on your dad.
- 1:18:39Speaker 7: It's going to be some conversation.
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: I don't think they wrote a song about that.
- 1:18:41Speaker 15: For sure.
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: No. No, but it's all over the internet.
- 1:18:43Speaker 6: By the way, Marvel made $ 26 million over the weekend
- 1:18:46Speaker 6: by re-releasing Avengers Endgame with new footage, right? They said
- 1:18:50Speaker 6: the footage was vital to see in order to get
- 1:18:54Speaker 6: the most out of Doomsday that's coming out. They're saying
- 1:18:57Speaker 6: now Spider-Man Brand New Day is going to be released.
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: Yeah, re-released.
- 1:19:01Speaker 3: Re-released.
- 1:19:02Speaker 6: And they're adding new footage that was cut. And we've
- 1:19:05Speaker 6: talked about this footage before on the show. It features
- 1:19:08Speaker 6: Rosario Dawson. So they're going to add, because she was
- 1:19:13Speaker 6: in Daredevil and Luke Cage, so they're going to add
- 1:19:15Speaker 6: that footage as the rumor.
- 1:19:17Speaker 3: They marvel people and make so much money.
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: Man, they just know how to get us.
- 1:19:21Speaker 6: Matt Reif coming to the Valley. We're going to hook

- 1:20:07Speaker 2: I am.
- 1:20:07Speaker 5: I'm so excited.

- 1:20:09Speaker 4: Okay, so Anissa, you're playing for Matt Rife Tickets, but
- 1:20:11Speaker 4: tonight in the Valley, Chris Brown and Usher are going.
- 1:20:15Speaker 15: To be here for the R & B Tour.
- 1:20:17Speaker 4: So round one of Mic Drop is going to be
- 1:20:18Speaker 4: all Chris Brown songs, so you guys kind of have
- 1:20:21Speaker 4: an idea in the room. I'm going to give you
- 1:20:23Speaker 4: one word. You've got to sing a word with that
- 1:20:25Speaker 4: song in it. If you sing a song that I
- 1:20:26Speaker 4: am thinking of, you get a point. If you sing
- 1:20:28Speaker 4: a song with that word in it, you get a point.
- 1:20:30Speaker 4: And if you have some energy, you also get a point.
- 1:20:32Speaker 15: All right? Your hint is round one is Chris Brown songs,
- 1:20:35Speaker 15: but you can sing.
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: Whatever you want.
- 1:20:36Speaker 15: John Jay, your word is run.
- 1:20:39Speaker 3: When the van's in the van, on the floor, on
- 1:20:41Speaker 3: the man, run it, you run it, run it. When
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: the van's in the van, on.
- 1:20:47Speaker 16: The floor, on the man.
- 1:20:51Speaker 15: Run it, you run it, run it. Rich, your word
- 1:21:09Speaker 15: is going to be you. You.
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: You.
- 1:21:13Speaker 22: You.
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: You. That's a variant. Oh, with you, with you, with you,
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: with you, with you. Oh, I'm into you.
- 1:21:25Speaker 15: Girl, no.
- 1:21:26Speaker 12: Good job, Rich.
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: I'm into you. With every kiss and every hug.
- 1:21:31Speaker 4: You make me fall in love.
- 1:21:38Speaker 11: Good job, Rich.
- 1:21:41Speaker 15: Three points. Kyle, your word is forever.
- 1:21:44Speaker 11: That's the name of the song.
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: It is.
- 1:21:47Speaker 14: I think.
- 1:21:50Speaker 20: I think of the melody.
- 1:21:51Speaker 12: Okay.
- 1:21:51Speaker 15: Forever.
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: There we go.
- 1:21:55Speaker 3: John Jay says, knee, knee, knee.
- 1:21:56Speaker 11: Take my hand, come with me, it's like I'm waiting.
- 1:22:13Speaker 15: Good job, Kyle.
- 1:22:14Speaker 4: I'll give you two points because you tried.
- 1:22:18Speaker 15: All right, Anissa, your word is kiss.
- 1:22:24Speaker 13: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:22:28Speaker 8: Oh, no.
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: Kiss, kiss.
- 1:22:31Speaker 13: Kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss.
- 1:22:40Speaker 11: Good job.
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: With the lob from John Jay, that gives you two
- 1:22:46Speaker 4: points tied up with Kyle.
- 1:22:48Speaker 15: Really good job.
- 1:22:49Speaker 3: I was hoping for Freaky Friday, but.
- 1:22:51Speaker 4: I know, that's a really good one. The Kendall Jenner
- 1:22:53Speaker 4: closing out is the best. Okay, we move into round two,
- 1:22:57Speaker 4: and now it is Usher songs.
- 1:22:59Speaker 15: Usher, get your mind there. John Jay, your word is burn.
- 1:23:05Speaker 3: When it burns, and you make it burn.
- 1:23:09Speaker 12: My brother were little.
- 1:23:23Speaker 4: We used to know the dance to the music video
- 1:23:25Speaker 4: of this when he was walking through all the palm
- 1:23:27Speaker 4: trees on fire.
- 1:23:27Speaker 15: Anyway. Okay, Rich. Your word is nice.
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: I just want to take it nice and slow.
- 1:23:37Speaker 12: I just want to take it nice and slow.
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: Oh, I mean, mine sounds just like your shirt. You
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: sounded just.
- 1:23:47Speaker 4: Like my shirt. Couldn't tell the difference.
- 1:23:51Speaker 15: Good job, Rich. You get three points right there. Kyle,
- 1:23:53Speaker 15: your word is love.
- 1:23:56Speaker 11: In this club.
- 1:24:14Speaker 4: Not enough to beat Rich in this game, but that
- 1:24:17Speaker 4: is okay. Anissa, you have a chance to tie it
- 1:24:19Speaker 4: up with Rich right here. Your word is yeah.
- 1:24:24Speaker 16: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:24:28Speaker 14: Oh, man, when he.
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: Plays that tonight, that place is going to kick.
- 1:24:33Speaker 12: I know.
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: Really good job, Anissa.
- 1:24:35Speaker 4: You tied it up with Rich, which is a fair
- 1:24:38Speaker 4: game to me. You're my winner today, and today's my job.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: Thank you so much.
- 1:24:44Speaker 3: You're going to go see Matt Reif. Hold on the line, Anissa.
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: We will set you up.
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: Again, second date update. If you missed it, go to
- 1:24:50Speaker 3: our Instagram.
- 1:24:51Speaker 6: The most recent post there, type in the comments date,
- 1:24:55Speaker 6: and we will send it directly to your phone.
- 1:24:56Speaker 3: You can listen to it right now. Kyle, what's coming up?
- 1:24:58Speaker 3: What do we need to know today?
- 1:24:59Speaker 11: I did not expect a story about a Big Mac
- 1:25:01Speaker 11: to make me this angry, but I will tell you
- 1:25:04Speaker 11: what you need to know next with John Jay and Rich.
- 1:25:06Speaker 7: Want to talk or throw some shade?
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:25:09Speaker 15: Call John Jay and Rich.
- 1:25:10Speaker 8: 877-937-1047.
- 1:25:10Speaker 15: Lerner and Rowe is the way to go.
- 1:25:15Speaker 6: You know, we got this text this morning that I've
- 1:25:18Speaker 6: been trying to get a hold of the person because
- 1:25:20Speaker 6: I think it is so interesting. She says that she
- 1:25:23Speaker 6: gets a free coffee. You know, today's National Coffee Day
- 1:25:25Speaker 6: and you get free coffee everywhere. But she says she
- 1:25:27Speaker 6: gets free coffee from Starbucks all the time. And she goes,
- 1:25:29Speaker 6: do you want to know my hack?
- 1:25:30Speaker 3: I'm like, yes.
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: Yes, of course.
- 1:25:31Speaker 3: I want to know your hack.
- 1:25:32Speaker 6: How do you get free coffee every day? But she's
- 1:25:34Speaker 6: not picking up the phone. Pissing me off. Anyway, what
- 1:25:38Speaker 6: do we need to know? What do we need to know?
- 1:25:40Speaker 11: OK, this is actually a horrific story. You've probably seen
- 1:25:45Speaker 11: it all over your social media feed. If not, you'll
- 1:25:47Speaker 11: probably be seeing it very soon. This Cornell story is
- 1:25:52Speaker 11: absolutely horrific. And if you haven't seen it yet, there's
- 1:25:54Speaker 11: a female student that said she was drugged and sexually
- 1:25:57Speaker 11: assaulted over roughly seven hours by seven members of a fraternity. Now,
- 1:26:01Speaker 11: she alleges that at one point a message was even
- 1:26:03Speaker 11: sent to the rest of the fraternity, inviting more guys upstairs. To,
- 1:26:07Speaker 11: I guess, get in on the action. Now, the alleged
- 1:26:09Speaker 11: Snapchat messages have surfaced that she says. And now, because
- 1:26:15Speaker 11: of that, the DA is like, wow, we didn't see
- 1:26:17Speaker 11: these the first time around and have now reopened the
- 1:26:20Speaker 11: criminal investigation. I'm not sure how they didn't see those
- 1:26:23Speaker 11: messages the first time around. But now that it's blowing
- 1:26:25Speaker 11: up online, they have to pay attention to it. It
- 1:26:28Speaker 11: is expected to go before a grand jury and people
- 1:26:30Speaker 11: online are rallying around things. Hashtag justice for Jane Doe
- 1:26:33Speaker 11: asking how something this horrific could allegedly happen with so
- 1:26:38Speaker 11: many people seemingly aware of it and still not result
- 1:26:41Speaker 11: in charges first time around. Now, Cornell said they did
- 1:26:42Speaker 11: their own investigation and then expelled people. But there's still
- 1:26:45Speaker 11: two guys that still are enrolled there. So they're going
- 1:26:48Speaker 11: to catch some heat on this as well.
- 1:26:51Speaker 7: There's this new app.
- 1:26:52Speaker 11: You've probably also seen it on social media. Every time
- 1:26:54Speaker 11: you open up Instagram, they're.
- 1:26:56Speaker 7: Like, Muse, check out Muse.
- 1:26:57Speaker 11: It's our new AI thing. Everybody's downloading it because it
- 1:27:01Speaker 11: just passed ChatGPT to be number one free app.
- 1:27:05Speaker 3: I haven't even given it a second thought to look
- 1:27:07Speaker 3: at it.
- 1:27:07Speaker 11: No, it's now passed ChatGPT. But this gives me a
- 1:27:13Speaker 11: little bit of concern. So there is a guy says
- 1:27:15Speaker 11: he was using it. to help sell something on Facebook Marketplace,
- 1:27:19Speaker 11: because that's what the little guy, he does the things
- 1:27:21Speaker 11: for you, right? So he was using Muse to sell
- 1:27:24Speaker 11: something on Facebook Marketplace, and without asking him, Muse started
- 1:27:28Speaker 11: giving complete strangers this guy's home address.
- 1:27:31Speaker 3: Oh, God.
- 1:27:32Speaker 11: Arranged for a family to come to his house and
- 1:27:35Speaker 11: was even messaging them like it was him. Yeah, apparently he.
- 1:27:39Speaker 7: Gave it to multiple people.
- 1:27:41Speaker 11: So all these people now have this guy's address. And
- 1:27:43Speaker 11: I'm like, OK, at that point, I feel like maybe
- 1:27:45Speaker 11: we should raise the red flag and say Muse isn't
- 1:27:47Speaker 11: there yet. We may not be there yet.
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: We'll wait on the second generation.
- 1:27:52Speaker 3: Is it supposed to do something different than chat GPT?
- 1:27:55Speaker 11: Yeah, so I guess the different thing about ChatGPT is
- 1:27:57Speaker 11: ChatGPT is like you ask ChatGPT, find me the best
- 1:28:00Speaker 11: deal on this new sweater, right? With Muse, you go
- 1:28:04Speaker 11: find me the best deal on this sweater and buy
- 1:28:05Speaker 11: it for me. So it will be able to find
- 1:28:07Speaker 11: you the best deal and go purchase it for you.
- 1:28:09Speaker 11: Don't you want.
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: To look at it first?
- 1:28:10Speaker 3: Negotiate things for you. Yeah, a lot of people would.
- 1:28:14Speaker 6: You know, the other day, so Brad Pitt's been doing
- 1:28:17Speaker 6: press for this movie he has about him and his dog,
- 1:28:18Speaker 6: which I don't want to see because I know it's sad.
- 1:28:21Speaker 6: And he was wearing these really cool pants. And I
- 1:28:23Speaker 6: was like, I got to get those pants. And so
- 1:28:25Speaker 6: I did the whole thing, searched them, found them. And
- 1:28:27Speaker 6: they were $ 3, 000.
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh. The pants?
- 1:28:30Speaker 3: No, no, Muse.
- 1:28:31Speaker 12: No.
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: No, Muse.
- 1:28:32Speaker 3: I want to know the price for it.
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: I've never even heard of $ 3, 000 pants.
- 1:28:35Speaker 11: You would give Muse your budget. You would say, I
- 1:28:37Speaker 11: don't want to spend more than $ 50 on this pair.
- 1:28:40Speaker 11: of pants, like max or whatever. And then it would say, oh, sorry,
- 1:28:42Speaker 11: you can't, but maybe here's a dupe.
- 1:28:44Speaker 16: Right.
- 1:28:45Speaker 3: It would help out though. Like yesterday I was doing
- 1:28:47Speaker 3: one of my famous unboxing videos.
- 1:28:48Speaker 12: Yes.
- 1:28:49Speaker 6: And apparently I clicked too many times and got four
- 1:28:52Speaker 6: of the same shirt. I was like, Muse, can you
- 1:28:55Speaker 6: fix that?
- 1:28:57Speaker 11: That would be helpful. I don't know if you guys
- 1:29:00Speaker 11: saw the video. I saw it a bunch of times
- 1:29:02Speaker 11: and it was actually very scary. It was an ASU
- 1:29:04Speaker 11: hockey player.
- 1:29:05Speaker 15: Named Matthew Mayock.
- 1:29:05Speaker 11: He collapsed from heat stroke during a brutal outdoor team workout.
- 1:29:09Speaker 11: This happened in August and he has remained incapacitated in
- 1:29:12Speaker 11: the hospital. Seven of his teammates are now going directly
- 1:29:16Speaker 11: to the ASU president, Michael Crow, and saying the school's
- 1:29:19Speaker 11: review does not match what they remember happening that morning.
- 1:29:22Speaker 11: And they want the coaching staff to be put on
- 1:29:24Speaker 11: leave while investigating.
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: That's wild.
- 1:29:26Speaker 11: This is this this is blown up. And there there
- 1:29:29Speaker 11: definitely needs to be some accountability. A lot of us
- 1:29:32Speaker 11: woke up to rain this morning all over the valley.
- 1:29:35Speaker 11: They say this is that tropical moisture we've been talking
- 1:29:37Speaker 11: about was going to happen from those hurricanes. There are
- 1:29:41Speaker 11: already some problems, flood concerns, scattered power outages. And they
- 1:29:44Speaker 11: do say there are some delays at Sky Harbor. So
- 1:29:46Speaker 11: today is just one of those days where you just
- 1:29:47Speaker 11: want to kind of check everything before you leave the house.
- 1:29:50Speaker 11: And that's what you need to know.
- 1:29:51Speaker 6: I'm getting my roof replaced, you know. And so it
- 1:29:56Speaker 6: sucks right now because it's raining everywhere. And so, like,
- 1:29:58Speaker 6: you know the wood that they're going to put on
- 1:30:00Speaker 6: my roof?
- 1:30:00Speaker 3: Yeah. It's on my driveway.
- 1:30:01Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: It's all wet.
- 1:30:02Speaker 11: Oh, now they probably have to wait for that to
- 1:30:04Speaker 11: dry to put it on. And then they have to
- 1:30:06Speaker 11: wait for it. Do they have to redo what they've, like,
- 1:30:08Speaker 11: is your roof totally just exposed right now?
- 1:30:11Speaker 3: Well, it's got, like, some blue stuff on it.
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: That's not a lot to hold back that rain.
- 1:30:15Speaker 6: I'm hoping that it's fine. But this company I'm working
- 1:30:18Speaker 6: with is freaking fantastic. Like, I'm telling you guys, I
- 1:30:20Speaker 6: think I've talked about it partly on the air. I
- 1:30:23Speaker 6: met with seven, eight, nine different roofing companies here, and
- 1:30:26Speaker 6: I found the best roofing company. Arizona roofers. Check them out.
- 1:30:31Speaker 6: Madonna was performing at the VMAs the other night, right?
- 1:30:34Speaker 6: And I totally forgot about this, but there's a show
- 1:30:36Speaker 6: I'm watching right now at Paramount Plus called Mobland.
- 1:30:40Speaker 3: And it's freaking fantastic.
- 1:30:41Speaker 2: It's my favorite show out right now.
- 1:30:42Speaker 6: It's freaking fantastic. And one of the things I'm bringing
- 1:30:45Speaker 6: up because it's directed by Madonna's ex-husband. You think Sean Penn?
- 1:30:49Speaker 12: No.
- 1:30:50Speaker 3: Guy Ritchie.
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:30:51Speaker 6: He also did The Gentleman, which is on top 10
- 1:30:53Speaker 6: on Netflix right now. So it's kind of when I'm
- 1:30:55Speaker 6: watching it, I'm just like, this show is so freaking cool.
- 1:30:58Speaker 6: And then I'm like, why is this so cool?
- 1:30:59Speaker 3: Oh, Guy Ritchie. He's so cool. And he has a
- 1:31:01Speaker 3: kid with Madonna.
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: Yeah. His stuff is always cool looking.
- 1:31:04Speaker 3: What are you watching right now, Kyle?
- 1:31:06Speaker 11: I'm watching, I just finished Team Mom's Baseball on Paramount Plus,
- 1:31:10Speaker 11: which was amazing. Good reality drama. My kids and I
- 1:31:15Speaker 11: are like obsessed with the Wonka reality show on Netflix.
- 1:31:18Speaker 11: It's number two. They literally recreated Wonka's Factory.
- 1:31:21Speaker 7: Have you started watching it, Peyton?
- 1:31:22Speaker 4: Yes, I think it's really, it's really fun to watch
- 1:31:25Speaker 4: and it's just, it's a challenge and it's like a
- 1:31:27Speaker 4: competition reality show.
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: It's wild though, because I'm watching it too in The thing,
- 1:31:31Speaker 2: it's like, so throwback to the original Willy Wonka movie
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: and the original Willy Wonka, who's been dead for years.
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: I guess they AI'd his voice, but he's narrating the
- 1:31:39Speaker 2: whole thing.
- 1:31:40Speaker 3: Gene Wilder?
- 1:31:40Speaker 7: Yeah, they did it with the permission of his family.
- 1:31:42Speaker 2: It's so wild because it's, I mean, it's him.
- 1:31:45Speaker 18: Wow.
- 1:31:45Speaker 2: But not him.
- 1:31:46Speaker 7: And he was a creepy Willy Wonka.
- 1:31:48Speaker 16: Oh, yeah.
- 1:31:48Speaker 15: I know a lot of people say Johnny Depp was
- 1:31:50Speaker 15: the creepy one.
- 1:31:50Speaker 3: No, he was.
- 1:31:51Speaker 15: He's the creepy one.
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: He was very unstable.
- 1:31:54Speaker 6: I got as far as Willy Wonka, much like Wizard
- 1:31:57Speaker 6: of Oz, I stopped watching it. But I stopped watching
- 1:32:00Speaker 6: Willy Wonka when the little fat kid gets sucked in
- 1:32:02Speaker 6: the tube.
- 1:32:03Speaker 2: Augustus Gloop?
- 1:32:04Speaker 3: Because I related to the little fat kid and I
- 1:32:06Speaker 3: never got farther than that.
