- 0:00Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's Best music is made nine.
- 0:04Speaker 2: And welcome to another episode of Scotti and Abby Unfiltered.
- 0:08Speaker 2: I'm going to share something that happened over the weekend
- 0:11Speaker 2: that I've been replaying in my head. It's been giving
- 0:12Speaker 2: me a ton of anxiety on whether or not I'm
- 0:15Speaker 2: messed up with my girlfriend's parents. And I want to
- 0:17Speaker 2: run it by you, Abbey, Okay, and I want to
- 0:19Speaker 2: We're gonna wait for that for just a second.
- 0:21Speaker 1: I am the girlfriend next work as someone who's never
- 0:23Speaker 1: been a girlfriend myself.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Well, I just want to see, like if you like
- 0:26Speaker 2: feel awkward as I do. But we'll get to that
- 0:29Speaker 2: in just a second. I did also just see on
- 0:30Speaker 2: your Instagram. I mean, I don't know if this is
- 0:33Speaker 2: going to be too late by the time this airs,
- 0:35Speaker 2: but is it too late to sign up for the
- 0:36Speaker 2: Girls get Away?
- 0:37Speaker 1: No, it's never too late, but I think at this point,
- 0:40Speaker 1: like if you were going to sign up, you would
- 0:41Speaker 1: have signed up. Yeah, you know what I mean, because it's
- 0:42Speaker 1: next month, so like, if you want to come, I'll link.
- 0:46Speaker 1: I think this is the final day, but yeah, I
- 0:49Speaker 1: think it's kind of the end. It's the end of
- 0:51Speaker 1: the road.
- 0:52Speaker 2: But do you notice when you do the other Girls trips,
- 0:54Speaker 2: Like people like to wait till the last minute to
- 0:56Speaker 2: do anything.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Well, the thing is with the last Girl Trips that
- 0:59Speaker 1: I've done is that I've either worked with a company
- 1:01Speaker 1: where they have a deadline and it's like I think
- 1:05Speaker 1: four months.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Before, oh ahead of this.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Yeah, so for this, I'm like, oh, it's a month before,
- 1:11Speaker 1: like this is this is the group, which is great
- 1:15Speaker 1: because then I can start making arrangements and make arrangements
- 1:18Speaker 1: for this specific group.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Gosh, that's gonna be so fun. I was looking and
- 1:21Speaker 2: I wanted to make sure because I was planning out
- 1:23Speaker 2: some things for like my girlfriend's birthday, and I was
- 1:27Speaker 2: looking at weekends to book things, and I remembered your
- 1:30Speaker 2: like your weekend. I was like, oh no, we got
- 1:31Speaker 2: to be in town for.
- 1:32Speaker 1: August twenty first, of the twenty fourth. But her birthday's
- 1:34Speaker 1: way before then. I know.
- 1:36Speaker 3: But there's things that I'm putting together.
- 1:37Speaker 1: That oh yeah, yeah, sick your sex room I'm building.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Oh is that coming along? By the way, I know what.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Actually, I got to stop telling people I watch that
- 1:46Speaker 2: show because the look that people give me is just insanity.
- 1:51Speaker 1: It's not the fact that you're watching the show that
- 1:53Speaker 1: I find funny in a little off kilter. It's the
- 1:58Speaker 1: fact that you out you searched for that show, because
- 2:02Speaker 1: if you go to my Netflix, you know what pops up.
- 2:05Speaker 1: It's like the Love Barn, Farmer Wants a Wife, mysteries
- 2:11Speaker 1: involving magic, Ride and Prejudice, Pride and Prejudice. I'm like,
- 2:14Speaker 1: did this pop up on your feeed? Did you search it? No?
- 2:19Speaker 2: Well, okay, I learned about the show, So if you
- 2:22Speaker 2: didn't hear the other episodes, there's a show on Netflix
- 2:24Speaker 2: called How to Build a Sex Room. Now it's like
- 2:26Speaker 2: The Home Improvement but for your freaky side.
- 2:29Speaker 1: So it's HGTV.
- 2:30Speaker 4: But after ten pm, yes, like straight up though, And
- 2:34Speaker 4: I heard about the show because somebody was telling me
- 2:38Speaker 4: that it's super funny, you'd actually really enjoy it, and
- 2:41Speaker 4: so I wasn't going to watch it.
- 2:43Speaker 2: But what ended up happening was I watched the movie Obsession,
- 2:47Speaker 2: and I was We're gonna be honest.
- 2:49Speaker 3: I was traumatized that heard.
- 2:50Speaker 1: It's terrifying.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Oh my god. Like somebody was asking me yesterday.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Like, oh, did you like it?
- 2:54Speaker 2: I was like, I mean, yes, technically it was good,
- 2:57Speaker 2: but that was one of the movies where I felt
- 2:59Speaker 2: sick afterwards.
- 3:00Speaker 3: It's too real.
- 3:01Speaker 2: So I needed something to clear my palate. So it
- 3:04Speaker 2: was how to build a sex room? I remember somebody
- 3:06Speaker 2: told me, I said, you know what I'm interested.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Well, if you think about it, obsession really is just
- 3:10Speaker 1: the scarier how to build a sex room when things
- 3:13Speaker 1: go really wrong.
- 3:14Speaker 2: And so I was like, let me go ahead and
- 3:16Speaker 2: take a look. And I was hooked because it's this
- 3:18Speaker 2: British woman that takes you through the intricacies of everything
- 3:23Speaker 2: that's in that world.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Fascinating.
- 3:25Speaker 1: What's the wildest thing one could find in the sex room? Wow?
- 3:29Speaker 1: Well there was a poly couple.
- 3:31Speaker 2: So they had like eight people that they were like
- 3:33Speaker 2: truly trying to make happy. And so they knocked down walls,
- 3:36Speaker 2: they put in an in the room shower, they had
- 3:39Speaker 2: a bed the size of the house. It was crazy,
- 3:42Speaker 2: chains on the ceiling, wild kind of stuff.
- 3:44Speaker 1: See. I could never be in a polycule because that
- 3:47Speaker 1: to me sounds like being the middle child somewhere, you
- 3:50Speaker 1: know what I mean, Like someone's got to be the
- 3:51Speaker 1: most important, someone's got to be the least important.
- 3:53Speaker 3: I think there's like a king and queen being there.
- 3:56Speaker 1: I really do.
- 3:56Speaker 2: I think it's like they're what I learned from the episode.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Oh lord, I'm gonna get messages about this.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Which if you're in Polly, Hey, I'm well, let me
- 4:04Speaker 3: rephrase this.
- 4:05Speaker 2: I find it interesting. I'd be interested to learn. Yeah,
- 4:08Speaker 2: I'm not looking for Polly.
- 4:09Speaker 1: But it didn't know it sounds like you are.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Like my partner. I just want to keep my partner. Yeah.
- 4:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:15Speaker 1: But in the couple, it looked.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Like these two were married at one point and then
- 4:20Speaker 2: they decided that, Okay, now we're gonna expand and just
- 4:22Speaker 2: build like a whole family, a whole commune. And so
- 4:25Speaker 2: they brought in like I think it was six people,
- 4:29Speaker 2: and so I don't know if they're married anymore. But
- 4:31Speaker 2: they seem like the ones that they're more lovey dovey
- 4:33Speaker 2: toward each other. Yeah, everyone has love for each other,
- 4:35Speaker 2: but it's like friends that friends that please each.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Other, but they're in a committed relationship to all of them.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Or is it just like a consistent orgy.
- 4:44Speaker 2: I don't think like they said, it was like, oh,
- 4:46Speaker 2: we have movie nights, we hang out together.
- 4:48Speaker 3: I don't think it's all sex all the time.
- 4:51Speaker 1: This is like that friend group in high school that
- 4:52Speaker 1: they were all just banging each other.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Oh that's so true.
- 4:55Speaker 1: They were all just like swip swap and boyfriends and girlfriends.
- 4:57Speaker 2: I do remember in a high school there was groups
- 4:59Speaker 2: of friends and you know what, I will say, they
- 5:02Speaker 2: are more of like the outcasts, but they would be
- 5:05Speaker 2: like sitting on the hallway floor, like all cuddled up
- 5:07Speaker 2: all the time, so much love, feel like.
- 5:09Speaker 1: The band kids. Yeah, the band kids and the theater
- 5:11Speaker 1: kids were having more sex than anybody truthfully were.
- 5:14Speaker 2: And those are the ones that traditionally like, oh, people
- 5:16Speaker 2: like look at or make fun of.
- 5:18Speaker 3: They're getting it. You're getting it, Like I heard stories
- 5:21Speaker 3: that things going down in the storage room even when
- 5:23Speaker 3: I was in middle school.
- 5:24Speaker 1: That's so crazy to me. I'm like, you guys, I
- 5:27Speaker 1: was reading what Pad until one am, and you guys
- 5:29Speaker 1: were having actual sex.
- 5:30Speaker 3: You should have joined band, you would have been It's
- 5:34Speaker 3: a wild world, That's what I've heard. But you let
- 5:36Speaker 3: it out. But in the show you got to see
- 5:38Speaker 3: all the things that these couples, you know, get to
- 5:41Speaker 3: enjoy with.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Each other, not like the actual like action of it. Yeah.
- 5:43Speaker 1: I love that website. It's I hate they have to
- 5:46Speaker 1: show your ID now.
- 5:47Speaker 3: But you gotta gotta what is it?
- 5:50Speaker 1: The god? What do you have to get out?
- 5:52Speaker 2: I don't even know VPN that's it? Okay, See that's
- 5:55Speaker 2: how you know I'm not looking at these things. I
- 5:56Speaker 2: thought the show was just very fascinated and I don't
- 5:58Speaker 2: even know what got me on that topic.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Me on that topic, I think I asked you if
- 6:02Speaker 1: you how you were searching it out? Like did it
- 6:04Speaker 1: pop up on your feet?
- 6:05Speaker 3: And did you People told me about it. People told
- 6:07Speaker 3: me I kind of told you about it.
- 6:09Speaker 2: I can't reveal my sources, but I think it was
- 6:10Speaker 2: a group of friends that were like, you'd find this
- 6:12Speaker 2: really funny.
- 6:13Speaker 1: But building a sex room? No, I think I'm I.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Reveal too much on this podcast. I think it just
- 6:20Speaker 2: starts good conversations. I'll leave it at that. Okay, it
- 6:23Speaker 2: just starts there. But I was telling the dude.
- 6:24Speaker 1: You've been dating here for three months? How stale could
- 6:27Speaker 1: it be?
- 6:28Speaker 3: I'm telling you right now, you know what. I'm gonna
- 6:30Speaker 3: leave that. Bee, don't worry about me.
- 6:33Speaker 1: I'm just a student. I'm a student to make.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Sure I could say this. Here's what I don't want
- 6:39Speaker 2: to have happened. I don't want it to ever get stale.
- 6:41Speaker 2: I don't want to ever feel like I'm not putting
- 6:42Speaker 2: in enough effort or thinking that I just know it all. Yeah,
- 6:45Speaker 2: I said that before on this podcast. Even when it
- 6:47Speaker 2: comes to love, like, I don't want to just be like,
- 6:48Speaker 2: oh yeah, no, We've been so comfortable with each other.
- 6:51Speaker 2: I'm not going to keep trying like. I want to
- 6:52Speaker 2: continue to try, to continue to learn, to continue to
- 6:55Speaker 2: make sure that I am curious and interested in making
- 6:58Speaker 2: sure that we're still falling deeper in love every single day.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Those are the goals that I'm after. Now, if some
- 7:05Speaker 2: of that has to deal with you, maybe get a
- 7:06Speaker 2: fur rug?
- 7:07Speaker 1: Well, then how amazon here I come? I had a
- 7:10Speaker 1: fur rug in my room when I was twelve years old.
- 7:12Speaker 1: It's very platonic piece of furniture.
- 7:15Speaker 3: What textures are a big deal?
- 7:17Speaker 1: Oh and the sex room.
- 7:20Speaker 2: But also I did learn I was like, wait a second,
- 7:22Speaker 2: that makes the room very cozy too, if you anyway,
- 7:26Speaker 2: I was telling the producers of the TV little show
- 7:28Speaker 2: that I'm on over at Fox thirteen Floord to for
- 7:30Speaker 2: real huh. And I was just kind of joking around
- 7:32Speaker 2: and like literally the look that I got from them
- 7:34Speaker 2: because I was like, oh yeah, after Obsession, I had
- 7:36Speaker 2: to watch I had a middle sex room and like
- 7:38Speaker 2: the whole room just dead silent.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Yeah, some of us just turned on not see for
- 7:43Speaker 1: work or friends or Seinfeld.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Yeah, everyone looked at me and I was like, huh
- 7:48Speaker 2: you freak, Like, all right, well, I'm gonna go ahead
- 7:51Speaker 2: and see myself out the door.
- 7:52Speaker 1: What's the first texture you're gonna put in your sex room.
- 7:54Speaker 3: I'm telling you it's probably the fur rug fur rug.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Those things are sweet, you know, Oh my gosh.
- 8:00Speaker 1: I'm just thinking about, like, how do you clean that?
- 8:02Speaker 3: That's a good question, you know what I mean.
- 8:04Speaker 1: You need to get like a Stanley steamer.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I think so. You actually have to put in
- 8:07Speaker 3: some You explain.
- 8:09Speaker 1: That to the technician like, okay, first you're gonna do
- 8:11Speaker 1: the family room in the kitchen, and then next up
- 8:13Speaker 1: the sex dungeon. And he's just like, are we in Dunedin? Well.
- 8:18Speaker 2: The hard thing is like if you do that, well,
- 8:22Speaker 2: if you have people over and let's just say they're
- 8:26Speaker 2: doing a tour of your house. You know some people
- 8:28Speaker 2: in the show they have their own private areas. I
- 8:31Speaker 2: have a one bedroom apartment. There ain't no hot in nothing.
- 8:34Speaker 2: If you go and look at my room again.
- 8:36Speaker 1: It's not like that. I don't have to I know,
- 8:38Speaker 1: I know, I know. But you're a single man in
- 8:40Speaker 1: his twenties. Your apartment is the sex room.
- 8:44Speaker 2: But if you walk in there's certain things that if
- 8:46Speaker 2: you have like people are gonna look at you like
- 8:48Speaker 2: you nasty.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I know. I didn't have to see your apartment to
- 8:51Speaker 1: know you were a freak. I was like Scott gives
- 8:53Speaker 1: band kid freak.
- 8:55Speaker 3: I should have stayed in band longer than I did.
- 8:57Speaker 1: You didn't learn enough.
- 8:58Speaker 2: I didn't well school. I had some great times. That
- 9:03Speaker 2: sounds weird. That sounds really weird, funny stories from middle school,
- 9:06Speaker 2: let me rephrase that, but the high schools where it
- 9:08Speaker 2: really was like, oh, y'all, y'all are getting it, y'all
- 9:11Speaker 2: are getting it.
- 9:12Speaker 1: I was not.
- 9:12Speaker 3: I was not in high school.
- 9:14Speaker 2: I just I had like two girlfriends in high school
- 9:16Speaker 2: and then one just happened to be like, you know, weird.
- 9:19Speaker 3: We weren't right for each other, but we kept it
- 9:20Speaker 3: going for way too.
- 9:21Speaker 1: That's like I only had two girlfriends in high school.
- 9:25Speaker 2: It's four years, two girlfriends and then a couple good rejections. Yeah,
- 9:31Speaker 2: based on me, but based off of Okay.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Let me take a step back. I don't even know
- 9:36Speaker 3: how I got on the topic of this.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Let's get out of the sex room.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Let's everyone take a step out, Go shower, clean, back.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Up, vacuum the fur rug.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Put that thing on the washer for a second.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Let it dry out on it anyway, taking the step back.
- 9:53Speaker 3: This weekend I got to meet my girlfriend's parents.
- 9:55Speaker 1: That's huge. Did they like the sex room?
- 9:58Speaker 4: I pray to y'all they don't listen to They won't.
- 10:02Speaker 4: Oh my god, Actually, I take that back you.
- 10:03Speaker 1: I'm always surprised that who listens.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Me too, because that was one of the things that
- 10:08Speaker 2: I learned immediately is because my girlfriend lives in a
- 10:10Speaker 2: little town called Arcadia.
- 10:13Speaker 3: It's a small town. Like I thought.
- 10:15Speaker 2: I grew up in a small town Vero Beach, Florida.
- 10:18Speaker 2: It's kind of towny kind of city, but there's a
- 10:21Speaker 2: good amount of people. Yeah, they got one main street,
- 10:24Speaker 2: that's it. They got an old opera house, a coffee shop,
- 10:28Speaker 2: an old bar that everyone goes out to. It's a
- 10:30Speaker 2: small town. So when we went out there, I literally
- 10:32Speaker 2: started meeting all of her friends right away. People that
- 10:36Speaker 2: you went to high school with, people that now have
- 10:37Speaker 2: kids that are in the same like like when my
- 10:41Speaker 2: girlfriend like will go and help teach classes.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Those kids are the kids of people that you went
- 10:46Speaker 1: to school with.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Yeah, So as soon as I walked in, I'm like,
- 10:48Speaker 2: oh my god, I met the entire town in one place.
- 10:51Speaker 2: I say that all to say, they're all big listeners
- 10:53Speaker 2: on the podcast.
- 10:54Speaker 1: The kids. No, not the kids. God bless it. Okay,
- 10:57Speaker 1: So we're huge in Arcadia, massive in Arcadia.
- 11:00Speaker 2: I was talking to people that were listening to us
- 11:02Speaker 2: on the show that were listening to whole the love
- 11:05Speaker 2: story that we've shared over the podcast of how her
- 11:07Speaker 2: and I met all because of this. So if you're
- 11:09Speaker 2: in Arcadia, hey, thank you. And I enjoyed your town.
- 11:12Speaker 2: So I really did. But the whole purpose of going
- 11:15Speaker 2: there was to meet my girlfriend's family. And I was
- 11:18Speaker 2: talking a little bit on the show of you know,
- 11:20Speaker 2: how do you know if you really nail this moment
- 11:21Speaker 2: because it's nerve wracking. She got to meet my dad.
- 11:25Speaker 2: That was a success. My dad got to see all
- 11:27Speaker 2: the things that I talked to her and talked to
- 11:29Speaker 2: him about. But I was going over there and we
- 11:32Speaker 2: have a friend in the building, Scottie. She was talking about,
- 11:37Speaker 2: you know, something going on in her family, but a
- 11:39Speaker 2: way that you know, people have won over her heart
- 11:41Speaker 2: if they, let's say, dated her daughter and I was
- 11:43Speaker 2: taking some of the tips, I was like, oh, he
- 11:45Speaker 2: did that. When he came over, he did that. So
- 11:47Speaker 2: the first thing I knew, I was like, I'm bringing
- 11:49Speaker 2: her flowers. I brought my girlfriend's mom flowers immediately, and
- 11:52Speaker 2: so I showed up. And I think that was the
- 11:54Speaker 2: first win right away. I think I nailed that. But
- 12:00Speaker 2: the part that I'm kind of playing in my head
- 12:03Speaker 2: are the interactions that I had with her dad. So
- 12:06Speaker 2: let me go with the first one. As soon as
- 12:08Speaker 2: I get in, I don't know, I felt so comfortable immediately,
- 12:11Speaker 2: which is a good sign.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Yeah, but I.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Walked in and you know, I throw my arm around
- 12:17Speaker 2: her dad like he's a college buddy, and like he's
- 12:20Speaker 2: like in my arm and I'm like giving him a hug.
- 12:22Speaker 2: I haven't said two sentences to the guy. I don't
- 12:25Speaker 2: know what came into me, but we're all having a
- 12:27Speaker 2: good time talking.
- 12:28Speaker 1: We have dinner.
- 12:30Speaker 2: But here's the part that has just been giving me
- 12:32Speaker 2: so many different thoughts. They treated me so well. We
- 12:36Speaker 2: had a great dinner. The next day, they wanted to
- 12:39Speaker 2: go out to dinner. I thought to myself, the proper
- 12:43Speaker 2: thing to do. They let you stay in their house,
- 12:46Speaker 2: they cooked you a meal, they're driving you to dinner.
- 12:49Speaker 2: The proper thing to do would be to pay for
- 12:52Speaker 2: the dinner. And so as we sit down, I literally
- 12:56Speaker 2: this sounds so goofy, but I line up my fanny
- 12:58Speaker 2: pack so it's in quick price.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Were you wearing a fanny pack that.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Holds everything happy? I don't know.
- 13:03Speaker 2: My pockets were stuffed, but I was doing it because
- 13:06Speaker 2: the night before we went out to this little bar
- 13:08Speaker 2: and there was a cover fee, and before I could
- 13:11Speaker 2: get out my money, boom, her dad took out the
- 13:13Speaker 2: money bam paid for all of us to get in,
- 13:15Speaker 2: and the security guy was making fun of me for it.
- 13:18Speaker 3: So this kind of put the stem in my head.
- 13:19Speaker 1: He's like, man, you were too slow.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Hah.
- 13:22Speaker 2: He got you, and I felt bad. I was like, man, no,
- 13:24Speaker 2: I do want to pay for things like yo, let
- 13:26Speaker 2: me pay for something, huh. So we get to dinner
- 13:28Speaker 2: and I pull around my fanny pack. We're all ordering
- 13:30Speaker 2: and I'm like, as soon as that check comes, I
- 13:34Speaker 2: got my wallet in my hand. I'm literally sitting there waiting. Now,
- 13:39Speaker 2: my girlfriend's family speaks Spanish, the waiter speaks Spanish, so
- 13:42Speaker 2: I couldn't even time it up perfectly because they were
- 13:44Speaker 2: talking about the check.
- 13:45Speaker 3: I didn't understand.
- 13:46Speaker 1: They were talking about the check. Well, what's check and Spanish?
- 13:48Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 13:49Speaker 3: I didn't learn that one yet. Well check out no
- 13:52Speaker 3: cheek k noka. No. I don't think that's great.
- 13:54Speaker 1: It's not your cada. I think that's checking it. Well.
- 13:56Speaker 3: As soon as he pulls out it, I whip out
- 13:58Speaker 3: my wallet and it goes right to her dad. He
- 14:01Speaker 3: takes it.
- 14:02Speaker 2: He's like no, no, no, and I kind of was
- 14:04Speaker 2: like I really wanted to show that I was gonna pay,
- 14:05Speaker 2: so I take on my card.
- 14:06Speaker 3: I'm like, I will give you my car, like please.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Take my money, take my money. And then I was
- 14:12Speaker 1: like no, no, no, no no. My girlfriend's like.
- 14:14Speaker 3: No, you don't have to. But that was nice that
- 14:16Speaker 3: you tried.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Good thing knows all in the same language.
- 14:20Speaker 2: I felt like it was the right thing to do
- 14:23Speaker 2: to try, But then I felt like I overdid it
- 14:26Speaker 2: by pushing the card and my girlfriend.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Take it, take it. I literally was I.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Was like, take my card, like if you don't take
- 14:32Speaker 2: my card. I'm gonna throw my card at you. I
- 14:34Speaker 2: think we're my exact words.
- 14:35Speaker 1: They probably appreciated the effort.
- 14:37Speaker 2: I really hope so, because afterwards I felt so uncomfortable.
- 14:41Speaker 3: It was like I really won. I did truly mean it.
- 14:43Speaker 3: I wanted to pay.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I felt honestly honored that they did all that
- 14:47Speaker 2: for me. And then two, I was like, y'all, I
- 14:50Speaker 2: also wanted to let you know cause we're like, I'm
- 14:51Speaker 2: about to be thirty, Like I could pay for everybody.
- 14:54Speaker 1: I mean yeah, But also, you know, he probably feels
- 14:58Speaker 1: the same way I'm taking my daughter out and your boyfriend,
- 15:01Speaker 1: he probably feels good that he gets to treat you guys.
- 15:03Speaker 2: That's a good point because I did run through that
- 15:05Speaker 2: in my head. I was like, wait a second. You know,
- 15:07Speaker 2: it's something a lot of men do as we like
- 15:10Speaker 2: to be the provider and take care. So I had
- 15:13Speaker 2: to like play that back in my head, like, one,
- 15:15Speaker 2: I want them to know that about me for their daughter.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Two I also recognize that in him for his family.
- 15:22Speaker 2: So that was the way that I kind of calmed
- 15:24Speaker 2: myself down afterwards. I was like, Okay, yeah, a little uncomfortable.
- 15:28Speaker 2: I made it a little awkward by being so aggressive
- 15:30Speaker 2: with shoving my credit card in his direction. But I
- 15:32Speaker 2: think at the end of the day, as long as
- 15:34Speaker 2: I show the effort that I truly wanted to, then
- 15:37Speaker 2: I think that was the right movie.
- 15:38Speaker 1: It sounds like you. I think that you did. I
- 15:39Speaker 1: think you could have shown a little bit more effort
- 15:41Speaker 1: in your outfit planning. Why the hell were you wearing
- 15:44Speaker 1: a fanny pack to the Mexican restaurant in Arcadia?
- 15:48Speaker 2: Okay, so one of the things, what did we talked
- 15:50Speaker 2: about this well yesterday and yesterday's podcast. You know you're
- 15:52Speaker 2: talking about the little like bathing suits and they're short
- 15:55Speaker 2: and they're tight.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Yeah, that's how my normal shorts are. So I can't fiddle.
- 15:59Speaker 3: If I wear a wallet, keys.
- 16:02Speaker 2: And a phone, I look like I'm bowlging out of
- 16:04Speaker 2: every single pocket of my pants.
- 16:07Speaker 1: That's where the thing, Oh, you're gonna look like how
- 16:08Speaker 1: I looked at Universal. Yes, I was wearing a pair
- 16:10Speaker 1: of running shorts and I had my keys, my wallet, everything,
- 16:13Speaker 1: and it looked like at a constant boner.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Didn't you wish you had a fanny pack?
- 16:16Speaker 1: I did, but different I'm a girl. You have shorts
- 16:20Speaker 1: that fit just wear proper sized shorts.
- 16:22Speaker 2: No, you can't wear baggy shorts. Okay, this is the
- 16:25Speaker 2: thing with dudes.
- 16:26Speaker 3: I am.
- 16:28Speaker 2: I'm gonna give myself a generous number of around five eight. Okay,
- 16:32Speaker 2: if I wear baggy long shorts, I will look like
- 16:35Speaker 2: a troll at five foot.
- 16:37Speaker 1: I'm I'm here to pay for the dinner. I'll come starting.
- 16:41Speaker 1: I'm your girlfriend's friend, like we're supposed to. Because I
- 16:47Speaker 1: hail from troll Toupia. I want to pay for everything
- 16:51Speaker 1: with my eight inch inksteam pants. So go to my knees.
- 16:54Speaker 1: That would look so goofy.
- 16:56Speaker 3: My legs are already short.
- 16:57Speaker 1: The knee coverage would be crazy. You imagine that.
- 16:59Speaker 3: That's like when I was in elementary school.
- 17:01Speaker 2: I don't know why I was allowed to dress like this,
- 17:03Speaker 2: but I got to wear some big old baggy jean
- 17:06Speaker 2: shorts or big old baggy cargo shorts. And the size
- 17:09Speaker 2: at the time for your boy was husky. Your boy
- 17:12Speaker 2: wore a husky, shunky, chunky monkey.
- 17:14Speaker 1: And so I'm Scott, I hail from chunk Topia.
- 17:18Speaker 2: I didn't dress properly, I don't think until college, and
- 17:21Speaker 2: even then I look back at photos and I'm like,
- 17:23Speaker 2: oh boy, yeah, you were struggling. It wasn't until I
- 17:26Speaker 2: started living with a couple awesome gay men that truly
- 17:29Speaker 2: taught me how to dress, I swear to God.
- 17:31Speaker 1: So how do the gays feel about your fanny pack?
- 17:34Speaker 2: I think they're in favor of it. I think they
- 17:36Speaker 2: support it because they a lot of them have like.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Bag bags, like oh, they have satchels, satchels, mrses.
- 17:44Speaker 1: And then I try to do the in between.
- 17:47Speaker 3: With a fanny pack.
- 17:49Speaker 1: We gotta get you like a like a wallet, like
- 17:51Speaker 1: a phone wallet.
- 17:52Speaker 3: Oh god, I didn't think that would make more sense.
- 17:54Speaker 2: But then your phone's so thick, and what am I
- 17:56Speaker 2: supposed to just carry my phone around all the time?
- 17:58Speaker 1: And then it's not this nice limb phone. You see.
- 18:01Speaker 3: This is first world problems at its finest.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Every place has Apple pay now. Well.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Also, if I'm going to have my wallet, I know that, Eh,
- 18:11Speaker 2: you guys are trustworthy. I leave it in the car
- 18:14Speaker 2: a lot of the times. If I go to somewhere
- 18:16Speaker 2: and you know, I say that, don't rob my car.
- 18:19Speaker 1: But do they know what your car is?
- 18:21Speaker 3: I don't know. People know everything now, and it's true.
- 18:23Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm literally you could probably look me up
- 18:25Speaker 2: and be like, oh, there it is, got it. He's
- 18:26Speaker 2: got that red Mustang, got you three off the track.
- 18:30Speaker 2: But usually I leave my wallet in because I could
- 18:32Speaker 2: pay with Apple Pay. But when I don't feel like
- 18:34Speaker 2: getting robbed that day, I bring my wallet.
- 18:37Speaker 1: What days do you feel like getting robbed? Tuesdays, Tuesdays, Thursdays,
- 18:40Speaker 1: Labor Day.
- 18:41Speaker 2: I have had those moments where I literally go out
- 18:43Speaker 2: and I'm like, you know what, and this is horrible.
- 18:45Speaker 3: I hope it never happens, but I'm like, if I
- 18:46Speaker 3: get robbed, I did it to myself.
- 18:49Speaker 1: I let myself get that's a victim blame you mentality.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Well, I think it's I don't want to carry my
- 18:54Speaker 2: wallet and so if it does get stolen, I'll just
- 18:56Speaker 2: be pretty quick about canceling my credit cards.
- 18:59Speaker 3: If that happens.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Let's get you Immerse and let's put your wallet and
- 19:03Speaker 1: also a glock in there.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Oh okay, so that brings it out so well, you
- 19:06Speaker 2: can't get robbed. You're telling me that Immerse is better
- 19:09Speaker 2: than my fanny pack.
- 19:10Speaker 1: I don't know why. Immerse feels more deliberately ironic, whereas
- 19:14Speaker 1: a fanny pack feels like a deliberate fashion choice. Do
- 19:18Speaker 1: you know what I mean?
- 19:19Speaker 2: Oh, I wear it across my chest, if that makes
- 19:21Speaker 2: it any better.
- 19:22Speaker 3: I don't always around a hip. I like that's a
- 19:25Speaker 3: theme park. I wore it around my hip.
- 19:26Speaker 1: I was picturing you sitting in the booth at the
- 19:29Speaker 1: local Mexican restaurant and sitting there and going like and
- 19:32Speaker 1: having to like swipe your fanny pack around so you
- 19:34Speaker 1: could reach into the top compartment.
- 19:35Speaker 3: I have had plenty of, plenty of moments like that.
- 19:37Speaker 1: So you just have it next to your move your
- 19:40Speaker 1: man boob.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Yes, when I'm walking around, it's like a little tiny
- 19:44Speaker 2: cross satchel, which is funny because it is the size
- 19:46Speaker 2: where it could fit a glock in it.
- 19:48Speaker 3: I was told that from one of the people.
- 19:50Speaker 1: I got a glock in my fany seventeen shots thirty eight.
- 19:54Speaker 4: If you gotta stay pack and stay packaged, you gotta
- 19:56Speaker 4: be stay packing in the fanny pack.
- 19:57Speaker 2: It's the perfect size. So it's a good way to
- 19:59Speaker 2: hide concealed weapon. Now, whether or not I have one,
- 20:03Speaker 2: uh huh, that's none of our business here.
- 20:05Speaker 1: But we need to get you on how to build
- 20:07Speaker 1: a safety room next.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Honestly, the more that I go out with you know,
- 20:11Speaker 2: and it's just crazy how much you could care for someone.
- 20:14Speaker 3: I think about these things all the time.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Now, Oh that's so beautiful.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Oh god, well I think about the ways I could
- 20:19Speaker 2: protect yeah, and it's I'm sure so many people understand this,
- 20:23Speaker 2: and especially oh my I say this, if you have kids,
- 20:27Speaker 2: I don't know how you function in a normal society.
- 20:29Speaker 1: I don't understand how they do it either, having so
- 20:31Speaker 1: much anxiety about someone snatching my kid up. My parents
- 20:34Speaker 1: used to say that all the time growing up, and
- 20:35Speaker 1: I'd literally be like, who would want to steal me?
- 20:38Speaker 1: And then people, Yes, a lot of really messed up people, truly.
- 20:43Speaker 2: I think about that all the time. There's one weird
- 20:45Speaker 2: interaction that we had when I was in Arcadia. What's
- 20:48Speaker 2: some dude? It's just that I don't think he was
- 20:50Speaker 2: a threat or anything, but he was just like a
- 20:54Speaker 2: close talker, a boisterous man, and I'm like, bro, first off,
- 21:01Speaker 2: your breastings. Second off, like, just take a step back,
- 21:04Speaker 2: just take a step back. But it did make me think,
- 21:06Speaker 2: I'm like, man, I care so much about my girlfriend's
- 21:10Speaker 2: safety and I am willing to do whatever it takes
- 21:12Speaker 2: to make sure that she stay safe.
- 21:13Speaker 1: I love how I'm sitting here like, well, that's so romantic,
- 21:15Speaker 1: and I'm like the bare minimum.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Now I know it should be, but I think the
- 21:19Speaker 2: wild part is and I connect that back to parents.
- 21:21Speaker 3: It's like I think about that all the time.
- 21:23Speaker 2: Now, now I add in a thought of a family,
- 21:26Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh my god, what the hell am
- 21:28Speaker 2: I gonna be?
- 21:28Speaker 3: Like I literally will have a glock in my fanny because.
- 21:31Speaker 1: You're sentient adult woman, wife or girlfriend like can protect
- 21:34Speaker 1: themselves theoretically, but the kids, because I think about that
- 21:37Speaker 1: about my cats all the time, Like if someone opens
- 21:39Speaker 1: up the door, I'm I don't let the cat out.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Do not let the cat out. The cat's gone, because
- 21:43Speaker 1: the cat's gonna be gone. Maybe not Betty. Betty's my big,
- 21:45Speaker 1: chunkie furry cat. She'll be fine. She won't make it
- 21:48Speaker 1: down the street. She won't want Butdella, she's gonna see
- 21:50Speaker 1: one wide opening to go get some sun, and she's
- 21:52Speaker 1: gonna be like, I'm gonna go tan see you never.
- 21:54Speaker 3: This is what I stress about.
- 21:55Speaker 2: When I was living with my ex at the time
- 21:58Speaker 2: and we had a dog, and when people would come
- 22:01Speaker 2: over for like a party, the only thing I cared
- 22:03Speaker 2: about in the damn party was like, I'm like, where's
- 22:05Speaker 2: the dog?
- 22:05Speaker 1: Where's the doll? I feel the same way.
- 22:07Speaker 2: It's such a weird stress. But I do think other
- 22:09Speaker 2: people understand that. Yeah, like we all have that protected barrier,
- 22:12Speaker 2: but that's literally like as a that's a male. Like
- 22:15Speaker 2: my brain goes through that all the time. Now I'm like,
- 22:16Speaker 2: oh my god, the protector. This is running through my
- 22:19Speaker 2: head all the time.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I'm going to take tekwondo. I probably will.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Actually you want to know legit though, I am going
- 22:24Speaker 2: to take boxing, like straight.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Up, okay, if you go box, I would like to
- 22:27Speaker 1: go box as well. Really, I do it atrun. I
- 22:29Speaker 1: used to do kickboxing in college. I mean, granted it
- 22:32Speaker 1: was like the woosy girl version, but I did a
- 22:35Speaker 1: couple of classes and I really enjoy It's a good workout.
- 22:37Speaker 2: I would love to get back into it. Yeah, one
- 22:39Speaker 2: for the workout, but two I had a realization the
- 22:42Speaker 2: other day.
- 22:43Speaker 3: I was like, can I fight?
- 22:44Speaker 2: Yeah, But if I ever have to get myself in
- 22:47Speaker 2: that position, like I want to make sure that it's
- 22:49Speaker 2: not just like oh, Scott, talk's a big game.
- 22:52Speaker 1: You want to be able to deck someone? Yeah, I
- 22:54Speaker 1: want to be able to do something right. Yeah, you should.
- 22:56Speaker 1: I'm sure lady will think that's hot. That's what I'm saying.
- 22:58Speaker 1: That's my fantasies. I want someone to get in a
- 23:00Speaker 1: bar fight over me. Really, that's my fantasy because I
- 23:03Speaker 1: want someone to get in a bar fight, but I
- 23:05Speaker 1: want him to win. If he loses, then it's not
- 23:07Speaker 1: my fantasy.
- 23:08Speaker 2: Literally my thought because that it's so awkward. I had
- 23:10Speaker 2: a Okay, I'm not going to go into that crazy thought,
- 23:12Speaker 2: but I was that was a question I legit asked
- 23:15Speaker 2: my girlfriend. I was like, okay, you know what I've
- 23:17Speaker 2: been in, Like in past relationships, people weren't always like
- 23:20Speaker 2: the biggest fan of violence, and I'm not that violent
- 23:22Speaker 2: of a guy.
- 23:23Speaker 3: But if push comes to shove, I'm not backing out.
- 23:27Speaker 1: It depends what the intent is, correct, you know what
- 23:29Speaker 1: I mean?
- 23:29Speaker 2: So in your head, when you play out the bar fight,
- 23:33Speaker 2: how does it start? Like what's the occasion that you're like,
- 23:36Speaker 2: that's hot?
- 23:36Speaker 1: I don't know, just like the thought of him throwing
- 23:38Speaker 1: a punch and winning. It could be over anything. It
- 23:41Speaker 1: could be like someone saying like, hey, you didn't tip
- 23:43Speaker 1: your bar tender enough and I could rely and I
- 23:45Speaker 1: clearly did, and then he goes not on my watch.
- 23:50Speaker 1: I don't know. I think that's why I like hockey
- 23:51Speaker 1: now because I like to see him fight. Oh, but
- 23:53Speaker 1: I don't like the WWE or what is it, w yeah,
- 23:56Speaker 1: WWE WWE Like I don't. I don't like the intentional fighting,
- 23:59Speaker 1: like you get off on it. There's got to be
- 24:01Speaker 1: a cause, whereas I feel like when I watch ice hockey,
- 24:03Speaker 1: I'm like, there's a story. They care about their teammates,
- 24:06Speaker 1: they're defending their teammates, they're all pushing for a common goal,
- 24:09Speaker 1: and things just got a little heated.
- 24:11Speaker 2: So it's not like the okay, so like UFC where
- 24:13Speaker 2: it's like in a cage, yeah, and they're literally just fighting.
- 24:15Speaker 1: I don't want someone to be like I'm going out
- 24:17Speaker 1: to fight somebody today. I want it to just be
- 24:19Speaker 1: a spur of the moment instinct.
- 24:22Speaker 3: Ah.
- 24:22Speaker 2: So if they oh, that's so awkward because there has
- 24:25Speaker 2: to be somebody that loses in that moment. Not my man,
- 24:28Speaker 2: not your man.
- 24:29Speaker 1: And if he does not not my man anymore. Oh,
- 24:32Speaker 1: that's the problem. That's why I'm going to boxing classes.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Never going to be me, I know, but this's my
- 24:35Speaker 1: one toxic fantasy like, I know, if it happened in
- 24:37Speaker 1: real life, I'd be like, ew, why are you fighting?
- 24:39Speaker 1: Let's let's let's go to a different bar. Yeah, but
- 24:42Speaker 1: in my head, if I look at the guy that
- 24:44Speaker 1: I'm dating and I feel like he would lose in
- 24:45Speaker 1: a bar fight, it does give me the eck.
- 24:47Speaker 3: That's exactly okay.
- 24:48Speaker 1: But I recognize that that's toxic. But if you're like Abby,
- 24:51Speaker 1: why can't you find someone that you like? It's because
- 24:53Speaker 1: of that. That's my type.
- 24:56Speaker 2: I don't think, Okay, well toxic. I don't know, because
- 24:58Speaker 2: I did ask my girlfriend that question. Is like if
- 25:00Speaker 2: I got in a fight, like, what would your thoughts be,
- 25:02Speaker 2: And it wasn't like a, oh my god, that'd be horrible.
- 25:05Speaker 3: I would hate it.
- 25:06Speaker 2: It was like, well, I mean, you know, just if
- 25:08Speaker 2: you're protecting me, yeah, I think it would be fine.
- 25:12Speaker 1: It's yeah, what's the intention behind it?
- 25:13Speaker 2: Correc Yeah, I'm not going out there. I'm not the
- 25:15Speaker 2: one that's starting things. Yes, I'm not that drunk asshole
- 25:17Speaker 2: that's like bump into people and you're causing the problems.
- 25:22Speaker 2: But I swear to god.
- 25:23Speaker 1: You sounded like the monster from the Goonies there. You're
- 25:25Speaker 1: like Wan eye even that or me after two glasses
- 25:29Speaker 1: of wine. That's gonna be me and my brother's wedding,
- 25:32Speaker 1: and I'm gonna be like, so, I'm gonna have nothing
- 25:34Speaker 1: to eat that day to be in the bridesmaid's dress,
- 25:36Speaker 1: and then all of a sudden, I'm gonna be like, oh, wine,
- 25:38Speaker 1: wine time.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Oh that does sound so fun. Though, it sounds like
- 25:41Speaker 2: you could just let loose fully hopefully. I mean, I
- 25:43Speaker 2: hope there's no family drama that goes down at your wedding.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Oh there will be, Maybe there won't be. I wonder
- 25:48Speaker 1: if family drama is like leading up to the wedding.
- 25:51Speaker 1: You know what causes a lot of problems is the
- 25:53Speaker 1: seating chart. Weirdly, the seating chart causes so much stress
- 25:57Speaker 1: and so much drama. Do you know who you're I'm
- 26:00Speaker 1: at the bridesmaid's table. Oh, so I'm gonna be with
- 26:03Speaker 1: all the other bridesmaids and their plus ones.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Oh that's cool.
- 26:07Speaker 1: I mean, the thing about the seating charge is it's
- 26:08Speaker 1: so dumb because who sits down at a wedding well
- 26:11Speaker 1: for dinner.
- 26:11Speaker 3: It's like an hour.
- 26:12Speaker 1: I mean yeah, but like, you know, you should be able.
- 26:15Speaker 2: To conversate with the people at your table. Yes, I'm okay,
- 26:18Speaker 2: because I know every couple struggles with that, like where
- 26:21Speaker 2: do we put people? I think I'll probably struggle a
- 26:24Speaker 2: little bit, but all at the same time, I'm gonna
- 26:25Speaker 2: have that in the back of my head, like I'm
- 26:26Speaker 2: not gonna let this take up too much time.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Yeah, they'll be fine.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Yeah, Like you could sit next to somebody you've never
- 26:30Speaker 2: talked to and have a conversation.
- 26:32Speaker 1: They're gonna get out on the dance floor, They're gonna
- 26:34Speaker 1: get drunk, they're gonna have cake, and it's gonna be great.
- 26:36Speaker 2: And honestly, that might actually make more sense because if
- 26:38Speaker 2: you've put them next well, it depends. Weddings are a
- 26:41Speaker 2: hit or miss, But if you put them with people
- 26:43Speaker 2: that they don't necessarily know, maybe they're quicker to get
- 26:46Speaker 2: the dance for like dance floor.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Yeah, they're like, get me out of here.
- 26:49Speaker 2: Sometimes I've done somry weddings where they just sit there
- 26:52Speaker 2: the whole time.
- 26:53Speaker 1: If they make friends with the people at the table,
- 26:55Speaker 1: are they more likely to go get up and dance
- 26:56Speaker 1: with the people at their table? That would be the goal
- 26:58Speaker 1: because they feel comfortable. Yes, honestly, maybe that's the hack.
- 27:02Speaker 1: So honestly, that's why the ceading charge is so important,
- 27:04Speaker 1: because if you want people dancing, you.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Want to put them with people that they don't know
- 27:07Speaker 2: so they get comfort. So they could dance in one
- 27:09Speaker 2: of those people that they don't know.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Oh, never thought about.
- 27:13Speaker 2: There's so many couples that are listening like you guys
- 27:14Speaker 2: are idiots. They're absolutely not.
- 27:16Speaker 1: That was thought process. We were just trying not to
- 27:18Speaker 1: start fights at the wedding.
- 27:19Speaker 3: See.
- 27:19Speaker 2: I like the idea of getting one of those big tables,
- 27:22Speaker 2: big old long tables, and everyone could just sit there
- 27:24Speaker 2: and it's one. It just feels very I don't know.
- 27:27Speaker 2: I have a fascination with Vikings.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Is the last show that you watched how to build
- 27:33Speaker 1: a biking room? I don't know what do they what
- 27:35Speaker 1: did they? How to build a what's the name of
- 27:38Speaker 1: their boats? How to build a gorge? How to build
- 27:42Speaker 1: a gorge? What do they call?
- 27:43Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 27:44Speaker 1: This is going to eat at me.
- 27:46Speaker 2: The show, though, that I'm referring to, is called The
- 27:48Speaker 2: Last Kingdom. I highly recommend that show. Well, if you
- 27:52Speaker 2: like Vikings. I thought it was amazing, But you walk
- 27:55Speaker 2: into this room and it's like all of them sitting
- 27:57Speaker 2: at these long tables and they're just in dulging in
- 28:00Speaker 2: their wine and their gauntlets and their meat on the plate.
- 28:03Speaker 2: That's kind of what I want my wedding to.
- 28:05Speaker 3: Look like, like a Viking, you know what, kind of
- 28:08Speaker 3: like I want the wine to be getting served out
- 28:10Speaker 3: of big ass barrels where it's like you just tap
- 28:13Speaker 3: into that thing and you just let it gush.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Those are called kegs.
- 28:16Speaker 3: I want kegs.
- 28:17Speaker 1: We're getting kegs. We're getting turkey legs. Scott's getting married
- 28:21Speaker 1: to buffalo owings.
- 28:22Speaker 3: I'm going to medieval times to get married.
- 28:24Speaker 1: You're literally going to mid Honestly, would it not be
- 28:27Speaker 1: a great time? What rehearsal dinner vibes would be kind
- 28:29Speaker 1: of fun.
- 28:30Speaker 2: I'd rather that than like putting my nose up in
- 28:34Speaker 2: the air and it being so neat that you don't
- 28:36Speaker 2: feel like you could drop a piece of sauce on
- 28:37Speaker 2: your pants.
- 28:38Speaker 1: So here's you want? Like a long table? Yes, like
- 28:41Speaker 1: you're on a Viking ship kind of which apparently there's
- 28:44Speaker 1: no name. They're just called long ships.
- 28:46Speaker 3: Long ships.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Yep, she just feels a little too on the nose.
- 28:48Speaker 1: I think every wedding the guest tables should be circular.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Oh and I'll tell you why. Okay, because I have
- 28:56Speaker 1: done the long table, like the long skinny table situation
- 28:59Speaker 1: where it does not encourage conversation because you're you can
- 29:05Speaker 1: really only see the person in front of you and
- 29:07Speaker 1: the people next to you, and the people next to
- 29:08Speaker 1: you are typically in a couple, whereas if you're in
- 29:10Speaker 1: a big circle, you can see everybody and everyone's part
- 29:14Speaker 1: of everyone's a part of the conversation.
- 29:16Speaker 2: M I want to have it where everyone's sitting on
- 29:18Speaker 2: the floor on pillows, then in a circle Japan.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Now, yes, everyone's criscross applesauce.
- 29:25Speaker 2: That does make sense because I went on a trip
- 29:26Speaker 2: and we had the long table, and it is true,
- 29:28Speaker 2: like if you're only going to be able to talk
- 29:30Speaker 2: to those four people, because you're not gonna be able
- 29:32Speaker 2: to lean across the table and look all the way down,
- 29:34Speaker 2: you can't have that conversation.
- 29:35Speaker 1: It's so it's not very conducive to too joy to
- 29:40Speaker 1: the camaraderie, to the camaraderie because listen, I've been to
- 29:42Speaker 1: some not great weddings, but they had circular tables, and
- 29:44Speaker 1: it makes you bond with everyone at that table.
- 29:46Speaker 2: You know what the underrated part of a wedding though,
- 29:48Speaker 2: is that goes way too quick that I want to
- 29:50Speaker 2: put a lot more time into the wedding night. Oh
- 29:52Speaker 2: well maybe, But the cocktail hour, that's like my favorite
- 29:58Speaker 2: part of a wedding.
- 29:59Speaker 1: So here's the thing I feel like think brides and
- 30:00Speaker 1: grooms always have an obsession with the cocktail hour, and
- 30:03Speaker 1: to me, that's my least favorite part of the wedding.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Why I'm always just trying to get to the reception.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Ah see.
- 30:09Speaker 2: I love being able to, like finally kick back with
- 30:11Speaker 2: a glass of champagne. Huh and sit there and talk
- 30:13Speaker 2: to people I haven't talked to in years. Oh, let
- 30:16Speaker 2: me think about this last wedding and I went to
- 30:18Speaker 2: we got.
- 30:18Speaker 3: To Yeah that's good stuff. Oh that's good stuff.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Because then you're just hanging out. You got the meats
- 30:23Speaker 1: and cheeses.
- 30:24Speaker 3: I love a spread.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Give me some nuts, some cheese, and some meats and
- 30:28Speaker 2: a glass of wine. You boys.
- 30:30Speaker 1: See, I love that. That's fantasy girl dinner. That's we're
- 30:33Speaker 1: on a quest. I'm with some man who hates me,
- 30:36Speaker 1: who I eventually will fall in love with her. On
- 30:37Speaker 1: page two hundred and fifty for eating cheese and crusty
- 30:41Speaker 1: bread and we're at an inn Ah.
- 30:43Speaker 3: It's beautiful.
- 30:44Speaker 1: It's beautiful.
- 30:44Speaker 2: See that's why I like that part. Now, I will say,
- 30:46Speaker 2: I do know this. The bride and groom don't get
- 30:48Speaker 2: to enjoy that part. No, that's the part you actually
- 30:51Speaker 2: miss out on, like the whole thing.
- 30:52Speaker 1: But who cares they got married? They won? I mean,
- 30:55Speaker 1: now do you I'm still single? Who cares if I
- 30:57Speaker 1: got cheese?
- 30:59Speaker 2: I mean maybe the well, I don't know about this wedding,
- 31:01Speaker 2: but let me just take it one step further and
- 31:03Speaker 2: tell me if I'm going too far.
- 31:06Speaker 3: During the wedding.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Okay, like the actual actual wedding.
- 31:09Speaker 2: I've had friends that have done this. Okay, so it
- 31:11Speaker 2: works out well a time for the bride and groom
- 31:16Speaker 2: to go hook up.
- 31:17Speaker 1: That's so weird to me. I have heard that. I
- 31:20Speaker 1: feel like I've gotten on like a TikTok for deep
- 31:22Speaker 1: dive where people share stuff like that, And I'm like,
- 31:24Speaker 1: what about like the most sentimental room. I mean, maybe
- 31:27Speaker 1: speaking out loud makes it makes sense, but I'm like,
- 31:30Speaker 1: your whole family's they're watching you. You're wearing this real
- 31:33Speaker 1: stiff dress, You're crying. It's romantic and that's you want
- 31:36Speaker 1: to go like fucking a closet.
- 31:38Speaker 3: Maybe, you know what I mean. I don't think it's
- 31:40Speaker 3: because it's just so exciting. I don't know.
- 31:42Speaker 2: It depends on how your body reacts to those moments, huh,
- 31:45Speaker 2: because I have seen friends didn't see them do it,
- 31:48Speaker 2: but I knew they did it, and it's you know whatever, like, oh,
- 31:52Speaker 2: it's your marriage, your.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Wife, go ahead, they did Where did they do it?
- 31:56Speaker 1: That's what I want to know. Where do you go?
- 31:58Speaker 2: Let me think on the wedding that I definitely know
- 31:59Speaker 2: they did it. They were very open about.
- 32:00Speaker 1: It, but also like I feel like it as a
- 32:02Speaker 1: girl would ruin your hair and your makeup.
- 32:04Speaker 3: That's a good point, That's what I mean.
- 32:05Speaker 1: I don't want to walk in with like an eyelash
- 32:07Speaker 1: hanging off like oky.
- 32:09Speaker 3: I don't wonder how this podcast is gonna go.
- 32:10Speaker 2: But unless it's like a quickie, you know, it's just
- 32:13Speaker 2: like you go as you're going to change the down bomb,
- 32:19Speaker 2: you know, and then you go back to the party
- 32:21Speaker 2: just for like the fun excitement of it.
- 32:25Speaker 1: I don't know why this is giving me the ick.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Maybe it's because my literal brother is getting married this weekend.
- 32:30Speaker 1: But the thought of you you like standing up in
- 32:32Speaker 1: front of your entire family and then bon't and then
- 32:35Speaker 1: like that getting you hard, you know what I mean
- 32:37Speaker 1: like and then you're like doing it in a closet
- 32:40Speaker 1: and then you got to go back with your whole family.
- 32:42Speaker 1: I don't know, it just gives me like.
- 32:43Speaker 2: The ick I you know what, I can't say, but
- 32:45Speaker 2: you know.
- 32:46Speaker 1: What, who I've never been in love, so I'm really
- 32:49Speaker 1: not the person who should be joking. That's true.
- 32:51Speaker 2: It's like I think there might be a moment where
- 32:53Speaker 2: it's like, wait a second, you're just so infatuated with
- 32:55Speaker 2: your person, so excited that you're like, you know what, Yes,
- 32:58Speaker 2: we're gonna go bounce chick a wow wow right now.
- 33:01Speaker 1: But I think there's like nobody here in the church.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Well this is the Holy zacrament.
- 33:06Speaker 2: If you have like the big old barn house and
- 33:07Speaker 2: there's like they're getting ready room and you just sneak
- 33:09Speaker 2: over there as you're going to change into your reception out.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Someone of the stables.
- 33:15Speaker 3: Honestly, though, isn't that like one of the books that you.
- 33:17Speaker 2: All read probably see like it could probably be a
- 33:20Speaker 2: feature in that wedding Night in the barn Stable that sounds.
- 33:24Speaker 1: That's the most PG sounding neurotic novel. Like I need
- 33:27Speaker 1: to introduce you to Ice Planet Barbarians. What the Oh
- 33:31Speaker 1: it's a pandemic hit.
- 33:33Speaker 2: I think they made a joke about that in the
- 33:34Speaker 2: show that I was watching, and they did like an
- 33:36Speaker 2: animation for it that looks terrifying.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Oh my god. No, they were like, unironically so good.
- 33:41Speaker 1: I don't necessarily mean that like a sexual way, but
- 33:43Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, this is really sweet, Like it's these women.
- 33:45Speaker 1: The first book is terrifying. The first book is like
- 33:47Speaker 1: giving Handmaid's Tale. They like abduct them and some them die,
- 33:50Speaker 1: and then they go to this ice planet where they
- 33:53Speaker 1: get infected with a parasite. Oh my, and the parasite
- 33:57Speaker 1: makes you want to mate with one of the aliens.
- 34:01Speaker 1: But it's sweet because they fall in.
- 34:02Speaker 3: Love all so long. Maybe that parasite, just maybe that's
- 34:06Speaker 3: what we all need, is.
- 34:07Speaker 1: The parasite of Ice Planet Barbarian. Though maybe maybe the
- 34:11Speaker 1: real or maybe the what joke am I trying to make?
- 34:15Speaker 1: You know what I'm trying to say? Maybe maybe the
- 34:17Speaker 1: real ice plane at Barbarian was the parasite we ate
- 34:20Speaker 1: along the way, something along the side you'll get an
- 34:23Speaker 1: inserting joke there.
- 34:24Speaker 2: So romantic. Well, I'm I hope the wedding goes really well.
- 34:28Speaker 1: I hope will it?
- 34:29Speaker 2: I hope yes, I mean I hope so, I hope
- 34:32Speaker 2: it sounds like the do you know? I think I
- 34:35Speaker 2: asked you this, Sorry, but I forget what is the
- 34:37Speaker 2: spread for food?
- 34:39Speaker 1: So I think the option was like almond crusted chicken
- 34:42Speaker 1: or sirloin, or there's a vegetarian option boom. So I
- 34:45Speaker 1: think that it'll be good. I trust my family not
- 34:47Speaker 1: to pick out gross food.
- 34:49Speaker 3: What does your go to drink for the wedding?
- 34:51Speaker 1: I usually drink champagne at weddings, but since I'm with
- 34:54Speaker 1: my family, I might want to stick with tequila. Tequila
- 34:59Speaker 1: is a little bit more evil, but sometimes it's just hard.
- 35:01Speaker 1: I like something it's very easy to get at a
- 35:03Speaker 1: wedding because my mo is typically like I just want
- 35:05Speaker 1: to be on the dance floor, and so I feel
- 35:07Speaker 1: like champagne and white wine is just easy to get.
- 35:09Speaker 1: I'm like white wine, and then you just gived you
- 35:10Speaker 1: the white wine, whereaf I'm like, can I get a margarita?
- 35:12Speaker 1: Then it takes a minute. You're holding up the whole
- 35:14Speaker 1: line the whole thing. Mm hmm.
- 35:15Speaker 2: And there's only so many of those, like those sweeter
- 35:17Speaker 2: drinks they could have. Yeah, I feel like those are
- 35:19Speaker 2: the ones that get me sick quicker. Yes, but if
- 35:20Speaker 2: I sip on champagne for a little bit or that
- 35:23Speaker 2: is weirdly enough, that is my go to now too,
- 35:24Speaker 2: It's like I'll do.
- 35:25Speaker 1: It tequila soda.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Yeah, like I could sip on that. It's just enough
- 35:29Speaker 2: where you could feel it.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Now that we're thinking about it, I think I do
- 35:31Speaker 1: want to go with tequila.
- 35:33Speaker 3: That'd be a fun night. That'd be a fun night.
- 35:34Speaker 2: Like yesterday we did talk about the songs that you
- 35:37Speaker 2: did request you Nek and the Good Groove. Today on
- 35:39Speaker 2: the show we did mention like what you what you
- 35:41Speaker 2: wantn't want to have.
- 35:42Speaker 1: Played when I would not want to have played.
- 35:45Speaker 2: So at the wedding. So your songs that you will
- 35:47Speaker 2: dance to, songs that you won't dance to though today.
- 35:49Speaker 1: And the Oh I can't tell you what's on the
- 35:51Speaker 1: list of songs we are going to play. I don't
- 35:53Speaker 1: know that we have a Oh no, your girlfriend just
- 35:58Speaker 1: texted me.
- 35:58Speaker 3: Oh wait what oh about what we were talking about earlier?
- 36:02Speaker 1: Yeah, that ruins on my plant.
- 36:03Speaker 2: Oh no, oh, but oh did she tell you the
- 36:08Speaker 2: second part of this?
- 36:09Speaker 1: She did? But that's not that wasn't my m O.
- 36:14Speaker 3: Being so vague for the podcast?
- 36:15Speaker 1: Being vague for the podcast? I guess I can reveal nobly.
- 36:20Speaker 3: Wait, yeah, we'll wait, wait on that.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Okay, I have a backup plan. I think there has
- 36:26Speaker 1: to be other great catches. Yeah, I have a backup plan.
- 36:29Speaker 3: Back to the request. From that, back to the requests.
- 36:32Speaker 2: So and I say that because I do know a
- 36:35Speaker 2: lot of you know, different couples have their definite play songs.
- 36:38Speaker 2: I do that all the time on my DJ weddings.
- 36:40Speaker 3: But there's also been a very fascinating list of it
- 36:42Speaker 3: do not play songs?
- 36:43Speaker 1: Oh yes, what has been on the list?
- 36:45Speaker 2: Well, some people love and I I am in favor
- 36:49Speaker 2: of like a group dance song.
- 36:51Speaker 1: You give, it's got to be a unifier. I agree.
- 36:54Speaker 1: I don't know why people will be playing songs that
- 36:56Speaker 1: don't unify.
- 36:57Speaker 3: The group, That's what I'm saying.
- 36:58Speaker 2: But well, how do you feel about Okay, let me
- 36:59Speaker 2: go down a couple of the more popular ones, like
- 37:01Speaker 2: a traditional, like a Chashaw slide. Yeah, I like that
- 37:05Speaker 2: electric slide a little older, the Wobble Wobble.
- 37:09Speaker 1: I like these to kind of get people in the
- 37:11Speaker 1: dance floor. That's exactly the point of You've got to
- 37:13Speaker 1: start with those while people aren't sure if they're ready
- 37:15Speaker 1: to get up and dance.
- 37:16Speaker 2: Correct or you spice them in when like the DJ
- 37:20Speaker 2: and me, that's when I know, like, I don't usually
- 37:22Speaker 2: start with them, but like around song six, I'll drop
- 37:26Speaker 2: one in just to get the ones that have been hesitant.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Uh huh. On what was the most common song people
- 37:31Speaker 1: told you not to play with?
- 37:32Speaker 3: Cotton Eye Joe, Cotton Joe.
- 37:33Speaker 1: I love that song. I do do well. But here's
- 37:36Speaker 1: the thing. I love that song because I have lore
- 37:37Speaker 1: with that song, But I don't know that I would
- 37:39Speaker 1: necessarily love it if I didn't have lore.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Okay, that's understandable.
- 37:43Speaker 2: It's just I like songs that are goofy like that
- 37:45Speaker 2: they don't have to do the whole thing. Yeah, give
- 37:47Speaker 2: me a song, like a minute of it.
- 37:49Speaker 1: Everybody knows it, everyone does, and don't play the whole song, Like,
- 37:52Speaker 1: just play the first verse, the first chorus, and then
- 37:55Speaker 1: let's get out.
- 37:56Speaker 3: Get out. That's the hardest thing though.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Okay, so here's the song list. I think they did
- 38:00Speaker 1: get a band, so the priority requested ones Love Story,
- 38:02Speaker 1: Taylor Swift, Red Dirt Road, Curtis See the Red, White
- 38:05Speaker 1: and Blue, American Girl, Save a Horse, and then Alabama
- 38:08Speaker 1: Taxia Land Delight.
- 38:08Speaker 3: That's going to be a banger.
- 38:11Speaker 1: We're a big SEC family, so that'll be a big song. Okay.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Reception songs Maroon five, I won't go Home without You.
- 38:19Speaker 1: That's so specific, go home without You. I don't know
- 38:23Speaker 1: that song.
- 38:24Speaker 3: You. When you hear it, you'll recognize.
- 38:25Speaker 1: My brother did like Marine five in high school, so
- 38:27Speaker 1: I guess that's not shocking. Brown Eyed Girl, Oh great,
- 38:30Speaker 1: Jason Aldean, my kind of party. Jason Aldean when she
- 38:32Speaker 1: says baby, Coldplay Viva This is so my brother's list cold.
- 38:36Speaker 1: My brother went to one cold Play concert and he
- 38:38Speaker 1: hasn't shut up about it since I heard Viva LaVita.
- 38:41Speaker 1: He used to play that all the time in high school.
- 38:42Speaker 1: Love Story, Taylor Swift, Red Dirt Road. Wait, these are
- 38:45Speaker 1: all replays cold plays. Something just like this, Elton John
- 38:50Speaker 1: Tiny Dancer, Brooks and Dunn, My Maria, Leonard Skinnert, Swing Home, Alabama,
- 38:56Speaker 1: Oh there we go, Tim McGraw, something like that. Luke
- 39:00Speaker 1: Beer never broke my heart. That's a good unifier.
- 39:02Speaker 3: See, that's a good one. Bring the beer out to
- 39:04Speaker 3: the dance floor.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Luke Bryan, Country Girls, shake it for me.
- 39:06Speaker 3: It's a good one.
- 39:07Speaker 1: More.
- 39:08Speaker 3: I'm impressed with this list.
- 39:09Speaker 1: It's definitely Harry take it, Carrie Underwood before he cheats.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Okay, well, you know what, I could see the Bridesmaids
- 39:16Speaker 2: singing that one loud.
- 39:17Speaker 3: Yep, yep.
- 39:18Speaker 1: It could be fun.
- 39:20Speaker 3: That's a good one to yell.
- 39:21Speaker 2: It's fun when you get everyone on the dance floor
- 39:23Speaker 2: just screaming lyrics.
- 39:25Speaker 3: I love a song that you could sing.
- 39:26Speaker 1: So wait, okay, explain this to me. It says songs
- 39:32Speaker 1: not on your list for the reception question mark. So
- 39:35Speaker 1: I don't know if maybe these are ones they didn't
- 39:37Speaker 1: meant mention, and maybe the band was asking because these
- 39:40Speaker 1: are all great songs. Billy Joel Piano Man Whitney. He said,
- 39:43Speaker 1: I want to dance.
- 39:43Speaker 3: With somebody that you can't say no to that one.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Backstreet Boys, I want it that way. These are all
- 39:48Speaker 1: songs I love.
- 39:50Speaker 3: Okay, maybe it is the band asking if you want
- 39:52Speaker 3: these in these in the set list?
- 39:54Speaker 2: Interesting because they probably know them because they are very popular.
- 39:56Speaker 3: Wedding songs.
- 39:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's the last one. Oh wait, here's more. Yeah,
- 40:01Speaker 1: and then just like more a lot of like classic
- 40:04Speaker 1: that's gonna be fun.
- 40:05Speaker 3: So it's not so much like a shaking that ass
- 40:07Speaker 3: kind of wedding.
- 40:07Speaker 1: It's a lot of country music and a lot of
- 40:09Speaker 1: cold Play apparently, which you know what cold Play is universal? Yo,
- 40:15Speaker 1: the people love cold Play.
- 40:17Speaker 2: I try to think of sometimes I try to put
- 40:19Speaker 2: songs for the dinner specifically. That'd probably be more of
- 40:22Speaker 2: my cold Play vibe. Probably maybe you could just sit there,
- 40:24Speaker 2: have you a nice steak while you're listening to Viva
- 40:26Speaker 2: La beat Up whatever it's called.
- 40:28Speaker 1: That's so funny to me because it's like such like
- 40:30Speaker 1: not a wedding song to me, weird. I can just
- 40:33Speaker 1: picture my brother in the back like put his hands up.
- 40:35Speaker 4: Like.
- 40:37Speaker 2: And as long as long as they're happy, well, then
- 40:39Speaker 2: I guess everyone's happy.
- 40:40Speaker 1: That's the goal.
- 40:41Speaker 3: That'll be fun.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Well, enjoy it, Abby. I know we have some more.
- 40:44Speaker 2: Before we actually get out of here, but it'll be
- 40:47Speaker 2: a fun wedding. It'll be fun for me to have.
- 40:49Speaker 2: Oh I mean, I'm gonna have fun with it. I'm
- 40:51Speaker 2: gonna just enjoy the fourth, I'm gonna go down to
- 40:52Speaker 2: the beach bars and have myself a hell of a
- 40:54Speaker 2: Fourth of July.
- 40:55Speaker 1: I wish I was doing that.
- 40:56Speaker 3: You're going to a wedding. I know that's gonna be
- 40:58Speaker 3: fun enough.
- 40:59Speaker 1: It'll be fun, are you guys? Oh?
- 41:01Speaker 3: Are there going to be fireworks?
- 41:03Speaker 1: We didn't pay for fireworks, but I can imagine somebody
- 41:06Speaker 1: will have fireworks close by. Yeah, maybe love sparklers. I
- 41:09Speaker 1: don't know.
- 41:10Speaker 2: I was like, what a perfect tie in. Was there
- 41:12Speaker 2: a reason this would be my last question? Then we'll
- 41:14Speaker 2: get out of here and go to a meeting.
- 41:15Speaker 3: Was there a reason why your brother and fiance wanted
- 41:18Speaker 3: to do it on the fourth of July? Are they
- 41:20Speaker 3: that patriotic? No?
- 41:21Speaker 1: So, for whatever reason, this was just one of the
- 41:23Speaker 1: dates that worked for them. And I think they got
- 41:26Speaker 1: a little bit of a discount for choosing July fourth.
- 41:29Speaker 1: I think it.
- 41:29Speaker 2: Actually works in your favor, though, because usually people have
- 41:31Speaker 2: off that Friday.
- 41:32Speaker 1: That's what I mean is I was like, well, that's
- 41:33Speaker 1: kind of fun, you know what. I was a proponent
- 41:36Speaker 1: of it. I'm like you, everybody wants plans for the
- 41:38Speaker 1: fourth It's like New Year's Eve. Nobody typically has plans,
- 41:41Speaker 1: but they all want something fun to do, so I
- 41:44Speaker 1: felt like it worked out. Well.
- 41:45Speaker 3: See, that's the one that's controversial. Like a wedding on.
- 41:47Speaker 1: New Year's Eve, I went to a New year Y budding.
- 41:49Speaker 3: It was probably lit.
- 41:50Speaker 1: Well yeah, yeah, well I have several stories associated with
- 41:55Speaker 1: that weddy Okay, very fun.
- 41:57Speaker 3: All right, Well, maybe we'll hear some of those in
- 41:58Speaker 3: the end of this week.
- 42:00Speaker 2: If I guess it is the last time to get
- 42:01Speaker 2: on the girls getaway trip, that will.
- 42:04Speaker 1: Stop being a loser. Come hang on this in Tampa.
- 42:06Speaker 2: That's like the last time we get to even talk
- 42:08Speaker 2: about it, I think at this point, because everything's gonna
- 42:10Speaker 2: be booked up. Looking up at the Abbey, Murphy Einsta,
- 42:14Speaker 2: at the not the Scott Tablin, that's Scott Tablin, and
- 42:16Speaker 2: at Magic ninety four nine for all the other station stuff.
- 42:19Speaker 2: Thank you for being part of the podcast. If you
- 42:21Speaker 2: do happen to leave a comment or a rating, we'd
- 42:23Speaker 2: love to see it. I'll see if there's any on
- 42:25Speaker 2: one of the Love Island episodes. Oh there it is,
- 42:28Speaker 2: let's see I got one.
- 42:30Speaker 1: Would they say, oh, see, perfect.
- 42:32Speaker 2: Comment, this is fantastic. Let me see if I could
- 42:34Speaker 2: read from Charles. Charles wrote, first of all, how to
- 42:39Speaker 2: Build a Sex Room is actually a great show. It's
- 42:42Speaker 2: really good, like Home Design show, fantastic, highly recommend Yes.
- 42:47Speaker 2: And also Scott is right, you don't know what you
- 42:49Speaker 2: don't know? Always Taylor learning, people always stay learning. I
- 42:56Speaker 2: don't know that last part. Men, Charles just been like
- 42:58Speaker 2: that type of I think it was the type. But yes,
- 43:00Speaker 2: always stay learning. I'm right there with you, Charles, thank
- 43:02Speaker 2: you for that. And the other comment was, since I
- 43:07Speaker 2: no longer have The Bird Show or listen to any
- 43:09Speaker 2: other radio shows, you all are the only way I
- 43:12Speaker 2: hear about anything pop culture anymore.
- 43:14Speaker 3: So I love when you talk about all those things.
- 43:17Speaker 3: They keep me in the loop.
- 43:18Speaker 1: You gotta get on the Love Island train. I did, well,
- 43:20Speaker 1: it's what all the people are talking about.
- 43:22Speaker 2: Let me finish this first episode of Love Island. I
- 43:24Speaker 2: hopefully have time tonight. I went to watch it and
- 43:27Speaker 2: it was like an hour and a half of the
- 43:29Speaker 2: recent episode.
- 43:29Speaker 1: I was like, that's a movie, it's a show. It's
- 43:32Speaker 1: so good.
- 43:33Speaker 3: All right, then we'll talk a little Love Island tomorrow. Okay, Bye,
