- 0:00Speaker 1: I put with Alexi Napola and Marisa Patton and iHeartRadio podcast.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Well hello, my friend, Hey, hey, ah, what's happening? So miya, miya.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Before we get to our topics, we need to tell
- 0:13Speaker 2: everyone that we're going to be on weekly.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Oh my god, I'm so excited me time, because we
- 0:20Speaker 1: have a lot to tie me out.
- 0:21Speaker 2: We have so much to talk about. They just turns
- 0:24Speaker 2: a month isn't enough. You guys need to hear more
- 0:26Speaker 2: of us. If we could go on daily, we could
- 0:28Speaker 2: be you know, little that's the next thing. We're gonna
- 0:30Speaker 2: be on daily because we.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Already here up the whole time. Yeah, you sleep with
- 0:36Speaker 1: the talking in your sleep and it would be a
- 0:40Speaker 1: great podcast. So yeah, we're gonna be on weekly.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Now.
- 0:43Speaker 1: I'm so excited, and you know, make sure I put
- 0:46Speaker 1: feed to see the dates when we air, and please
- 0:50Speaker 1: tune in because you know, we're always here with a
- 0:52Speaker 1: lot of giggles and a lot of good info and
- 0:54Speaker 1: I think great advice.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Man Ganta, Man Ganta, I feel like it's been a
- 1:00Speaker 2: week with so much news and so many things going
- 1:02Speaker 2: on in the world, and it just doesn't stop in Miami,
- 1:07Speaker 2: per usual, I have I barely leave the house because
- 1:09Speaker 2: the news is so crazy that I'm like, you know,
- 1:11Speaker 2: it's just every two seconds, something else comes down, something
- 1:14Speaker 2: else comes up. There you have to go out. I
- 1:16Speaker 2: like to go out to just disconnect. And actually, when
- 1:18Speaker 2: I'm home, I don't even like to watch the news.
- 1:21Speaker 2: It gives me like this thing in my stomach and
- 1:23Speaker 2: I just change a channel. I just like rather not know, right,
- 1:26Speaker 2: I mean, it's for me, it's like always like bad news. Yeah,
- 1:30Speaker 2: that's why I like The Today Show because it gives
- 1:32Speaker 2: you a little bit of news or like topics that
- 1:34Speaker 2: you know, hot topics that we talk about, but it's
- 1:37Speaker 2: very educational and it's a little refreshing, you know. They
- 1:39Speaker 2: do like different segments, so it's a little bit of
- 1:42Speaker 2: bad news, but it's also very educational a lot of
- 1:45Speaker 2: good news. So that's really like the only show that
- 1:47Speaker 2: I like because it has a balance, and I think life,
- 1:49Speaker 2: everything in life, everything is about a balance. Yeah.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Sure, But meanwhile, over on the dark side over here
- 1:57Speaker 1: where we're watching the daily news, it's crazy, it is, is
- 2:02Speaker 1: everything that's going on.
- 2:03Speaker 2: But I like that our show is about just like
- 2:05Speaker 2: hot topics and fun topics. You know, sometimes it might
- 2:08Speaker 2: not be as fun to talk about them. But that's
- 2:10Speaker 2: why we got to keep it light, right, and keep
- 2:12Speaker 2: it fun and just you know, just have fun with it.
- 2:15Speaker 1: And honestly, I mean, I go from the from the
- 2:19Speaker 1: television to my phone because I do them both at
- 2:22Speaker 1: the same time, and then I'm reading all the like
- 2:24Speaker 1: me gossip at the TI on Instagram. Yeah, well, I
- 2:28Speaker 1: have to do them both at the same time because
- 2:30Speaker 1: I just like I have that add Yeah, and there's
- 2:33Speaker 1: so much in housewives news now too. It's incredible. Every day.
- 2:36Speaker 2: I feel like there's always so much housewife news, right.
- 2:39Speaker 2: I feel like, especially for us if we follow those
- 2:43Speaker 2: bloggers and those sites that you know are all about housewives,
- 2:47Speaker 2: you know, they're on our feed, so whether we like
- 2:49Speaker 2: it or not, we're just like being bombarded with it.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. But I mean like I'm just like in
- 2:55Speaker 1: the last two or three weeks, every day it's like
- 2:58Speaker 1: this one's not coming back to this this I was
- 3:00Speaker 1: not coming back to that franchise.
- 3:03Speaker 2: That means going to come by, like the whole bra
- 3:06Speaker 2: shaking up is shaken up. They're shaking it up. And
- 3:08Speaker 2: how do you feel about that?
- 3:09Speaker 1: My friend? I mean, I feel sad because there's some
- 3:13Speaker 1: really great people that I see you're leaving and I'm like,
- 3:16Speaker 1: oh my god, no, that's like a staple on that franchise.
- 3:18Speaker 1: How are they going to go on without that person?
- 3:20Speaker 1: You know? But they always do. They always go.
- 3:23Speaker 2: On and they make it a formula, and I think
- 3:25Speaker 2: it's you know, it's worked. And speaking of that, when
- 3:29Speaker 2: do you think it's a good time to step down
- 3:31Speaker 2: as a house wife? You know, I think it's a
- 3:33Speaker 2: little different when you actually decide to step down as
- 3:35Speaker 2: a half as a housewife versus you being fired or
- 3:39Speaker 2: not aspect.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Right, that hurts. I'm sure that's hard. That's hard, you know,
- 3:45Speaker 1: because this is a job where it's a lot of
- 3:48Speaker 1: strong personalities and big egos and when you're you know,
- 3:52Speaker 1: when you're told you're you know, they're putting you out
- 3:54Speaker 1: to pasture, that's you. That's pretty hard to swallow. But uh,
- 3:59Speaker 1: I think a good time to go is when you're
- 4:00Speaker 1: not happy anymore. You know, when you're when it no
- 4:03Speaker 1: longer makes you happy and it's no longer fulfilling, then
- 4:06Speaker 1: it's time to go.
- 4:07Speaker 2: You just get like so tied up, right, it's kind
- 4:09Speaker 2: of like you need another season to come back. And
- 4:11Speaker 2: prove yourself right, and that never stops. It's like a cycle.
- 4:15Speaker 1: It's it is, it's a drug. And you're like, you
- 4:17Speaker 1: know what, just one more season.
- 4:18Speaker 2: I'm going to come back this season and I'm gonna
- 4:20Speaker 2: you know, people are really gonna know who I am,
- 4:23Speaker 2: and you know, I'm just constrained everything out. But exactly,
- 4:26Speaker 2: it's like, you know, it's like you're so like you
- 4:28Speaker 2: want to come back and you want to you know,
- 4:30Speaker 2: do more, and so so it's hard, you know, and
- 4:32Speaker 2: it just becomes like part of your life because it
- 4:35Speaker 2: is a reality show. So it's kind of like when
- 4:37Speaker 2: it's not there, you miss it. You know, when it's there,
- 4:40Speaker 2: you complain about it, and then you're like, I can't
- 4:42Speaker 2: wait till it's over, and then it's over. Like for
- 4:45Speaker 2: us now that you know we're you know, we're not
- 4:47Speaker 2: starting to film right away like some of the other franchises,
- 4:50Speaker 2: and you're like, wait.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Like some you know, part of me is missing, like
- 4:54Speaker 1: you know, I like this and you know, I know,
- 4:56Speaker 1: I know, why do you think I'm watching so much news?
- 4:58Speaker 1: I don't have anything to do.
- 5:01Speaker 2: It's my little it's for me, it's right, well for me,
- 5:06Speaker 2: it's not you know, I've always said that my life
- 5:08Speaker 2: does not revolve around the show, but the show revolves
- 5:11Speaker 2: around my life.
- 5:12Speaker 1: So for me that it works because you know.
- 5:16Speaker 2: When the cameras are here, they get whatever it is
- 5:19Speaker 2: me and my family are going through at that time.
- 5:21Speaker 2: And when the camera's not here, too bad for them,
- 5:23Speaker 2: because you're missing a lot of good stuff. Yeah, you
- 5:26Speaker 2: always have something going on, that stuff going on, and
- 5:29Speaker 2: you know, I love it. I tell you that that's
- 5:30Speaker 2: part of my therapy, you know, being busy. I love
- 5:34Speaker 2: to be busy physically and mentally. So but yeah, you know,
- 5:38Speaker 2: the show is a big part of my life. And
- 5:40Speaker 2: whether we want to, you know, go away from it
- 5:44Speaker 2: while we're not filming, that never happens because, like you say,
- 5:48Speaker 2: you know, we're on social media where we always you know,
- 5:50Speaker 2: we have that bond with other ladies on the other shows,
- 5:52Speaker 2: and we see what they're going through and it kind
- 5:55Speaker 2: of like all affects us, you know, directly or indirectly.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like sometimes someone's leaving, it's like it's
- 6:01Speaker 1: almost like it's happening to me too, you know, because
- 6:04Speaker 1: we're we all we all live and breed this little comic,
- 6:08Speaker 1: little microcosm that we all do and live. That's so rare.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Very few people understand it. And then when something happens
- 6:16Speaker 1: to one of them, it kind of happens to all
- 6:17Speaker 1: of us, right, It.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Can really happen to any of us. So that's why
- 6:20Speaker 2: we can, you know, we can feel like what they're
- 6:22Speaker 2: going through. Like, for example, Candace, mm hmm. You know,
- 6:25Speaker 2: we got to meet Candace in The Ultimate Girls Trip.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Yeah, Candace Passi Potomac.
- 6:31Speaker 2: We love her, yes, And I thought she was and
- 6:34Speaker 2: I think still you know that she's she was such
- 6:37Speaker 2: a good part of the show and she gave us
- 6:41Speaker 2: so much. And does it surprise me that she stepped down?
- 6:46Speaker 2: It actually doesn't because, like I told her, And if
- 6:49Speaker 2: you're listening, Candace, you know the advice I gave you
- 6:52Speaker 2: in the pool in Thailand member in the Ultimate Girls Trip, Yes,
- 6:57Speaker 2: and more than anything like in the pool that and
- 7:00Speaker 2: you know, after we had wrapped up and we all
- 7:01Speaker 2: went skinny dipping in the pool in Thailand with no cameras,
- 7:06Speaker 2: and we all had liked that bond together, you know,
- 7:08Speaker 2: talking about like who we were. And you know the
- 7:11Speaker 2: fact that I never saw their show before going on
- 7:14Speaker 2: The Ultimate Girls Trip, And for that matter, I don't
- 7:16Speaker 2: watch a lot of the shows because I've always wanted
- 7:19Speaker 2: to get to know the women for who they are,
- 7:21Speaker 2: and I didn't want to judge them by what I
- 7:23Speaker 2: would see on TV and on their shows. So I
- 7:27Speaker 2: just wanted to get there, you know, to Thailand and
- 7:29Speaker 2: to the Ultimate Girls Trip and just formed that bond
- 7:32Speaker 2: with the girls individually, and I'd have like a preconceived
- 7:34Speaker 2: notion of who they were because of their show. So
- 7:37Speaker 2: I had that advantage because I liked all the girls,
- 7:40Speaker 2: you know, and even Leah before she started with all
- 7:43Speaker 2: the nonsense. I liked, you know, I liked her, and
- 7:46Speaker 2: I liked the fact that she was going. I would
- 7:48Speaker 2: have done it differently because she was the only one
- 7:50Speaker 2: there from New York. So with that being said, I
- 7:52Speaker 2: would have been like, oh, you know, I'm from New
- 7:54Speaker 2: York and I'm like the only one here. You know,
- 7:56Speaker 2: you guys are all in twos. But you know what,
- 7:57Speaker 2: I would have come in with an open mind and
- 7:59Speaker 2: an open heart.
- 8:00Speaker 1: No, she doesn't think like we do.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Well obviously obviously, but like that's like the kind of
- 8:05Speaker 2: energy I would have given it, like being her, like,
- 8:07Speaker 2: you know, it's only me here representing New York. I'm
- 8:10Speaker 2: going to come in with a you know, an open
- 8:12Speaker 2: heart in mind, and I want to have fun with
- 8:13Speaker 2: all you girls. That's what I would have done.
- 8:15Speaker 1: You're positive, you're positive person, and I'm like that too.
- 8:18Speaker 1: And she was just such a negative downer. No wonder
- 8:22Speaker 1: they didn't. But that said, all.
- 8:25Speaker 2: The girls like I liked, and again Candace, I had
- 8:27Speaker 2: bread like a lot of things about her online that
- 8:30Speaker 2: were not very favorable, and but I didn't let that
- 8:34Speaker 2: affect me. I wanted to see who the real Candace was.
- 8:36Speaker 2: And I really got to like and love who Candace was.
- 8:40Speaker 2: She's beautiful inside and out. She was so smart, she
- 8:43Speaker 2: was so articulate. And she can sing.
- 8:46Speaker 1: I mean, she has that talent. When I heard her
- 8:48Speaker 1: singing the night that you know that she said.
- 8:50Speaker 2: She didn't limp sing. No, I didn't even know she
- 8:53Speaker 2: was doing that. It was such a surprise. I mean
- 8:55Speaker 2: I knew she sang, but I didn't know how well
- 8:57Speaker 2: she can do it. And she's a performer. I mean,
- 8:58Speaker 2: she was born to perform, and she can dance, she
- 9:02Speaker 2: can sing. So when we all got back that night,
- 9:04Speaker 2: I was like Candace, like, you're young, You're beautiful, you're smart,
- 9:09Speaker 2: you have so much to offer. You know, you can sing,
- 9:12Speaker 2: And I said, you've already done, you know, four or
- 9:15Speaker 2: five seasons, and she had done. You know, it's great
- 9:17Speaker 2: that you can use this as a platform, but I
- 9:19Speaker 2: feel like you have so much talent and you have
- 9:21Speaker 2: so much more that you can do it like and
- 9:23Speaker 2: I don't want the show to like hold you back.
- 9:25Speaker 1: I remember this conversation you had with it was very
- 9:27Speaker 1: good advice and look how smart she was.
- 9:29Speaker 2: So then she looked at me and she goes, oh, yeah,
- 9:31Speaker 2: but you're beautiful and you're smart, and you know, you
- 9:35Speaker 2: have businesses and you have you know, and your mom
- 9:38Speaker 2: and your wife and all that.
- 9:39Speaker 1: So why are you doing the show? Pious?
- 9:41Speaker 2: Yeah, And I said, good question, Candace. I asked myself
- 9:46Speaker 2: that all the time. But first of all, I'm way
- 9:49Speaker 2: older than you, so you do it because you want
- 9:51Speaker 2: to be with me more. Well besides that, well, I said, well,
- 9:55Speaker 2: my situation was a little different because you remember Miami
- 9:57Speaker 2: was on for three seasons then the wasn't brought back
- 10:01Speaker 2: till eight years later. So I felt like it was
- 10:03Speaker 2: always something that I kind of had, like in my
- 10:04Speaker 2: bucket list, and I was always wishing for and I
- 10:08Speaker 2: little comeback. So I was like, when the show came back,
- 10:11Speaker 2: I knew that I had to do it for myself.
- 10:13Speaker 2: It was something that I needed to do, and I
- 10:15Speaker 2: had so much to say and so much to tell,
- 10:17Speaker 2: and you know, so many people had watched my journey
- 10:20Speaker 2: with Frankie that I'm like, I need to go back
- 10:22Speaker 2: and share Frankie with the world, and I need to,
- 10:24Speaker 2: you know, kind of like play catch up, which honestly
- 10:27Speaker 2: wasn't enough. You know, eight years of not filming, a
- 10:30Speaker 2: lot had happened in my life, so it's really hard
- 10:33Speaker 2: to just, you know, condense that into one season, which
- 10:38Speaker 2: is like what we try to do for season four.
- 10:40Speaker 2: So I was explained to her why I had to
- 10:43Speaker 2: do that, and I said, but you know, I mean again,
- 10:46Speaker 2: everyone's situation is different. And I love that she, you know,
- 10:51Speaker 2: decided to step down, and I love what she said.
- 10:55Speaker 2: It's something like I would have said. I thought it
- 10:57Speaker 2: was a beautiful exit where she said, as I embark
- 10:59Speaker 2: on a new chapter after six remarkable years with the
- 11:01Speaker 2: Real House of the Potomac, I am filled with gratitude
- 11:05Speaker 2: for the enriching friendships, personal growth, and moments of introspection
- 11:08Speaker 2: that have defined this journey. With a win wild of
- 11:11Speaker 2: new opportunities and responsibilities on my plate, I have decided
- 11:15Speaker 2: to take a break from RHOP. She goes on to
- 11:18Speaker 2: tease that her exit may only be temporary, noting this
- 11:22Speaker 2: is not a farewell, but I see you later.
- 11:24Speaker 1: So I mean, but I love you.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Know, And it was very refreshing because I feel like
- 11:28Speaker 2: nowadays all the housewives, or like the ones that don't
- 11:31Speaker 2: come back, all they have to say is ugly nasty
- 11:34Speaker 2: things about the franchise and.
- 11:35Speaker 1: About and about their show.
- 11:38Speaker 2: So the fact that she did this with so much
- 11:39Speaker 2: class and she expressed her gratitude because no matter what,
- 11:43Speaker 2: you have to be grateful in life.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Well, so I thought it was something really beautiful she did. Yeah,
- 11:49Speaker 1: I'm sure she's going on a tour and filmings gets
- 11:52Speaker 1: in the way, and you know, once she figures your
- 11:54Speaker 1: stuff out, you know she'll maybe she'll do some cameos
- 11:57Speaker 1: come back. You know, he's probably really happy Elle. I
- 12:01Speaker 1: know I thought of that. I thought I was like, oh,
- 12:03Speaker 1: Giselle must be so happy. But you know, she lost
- 12:07Speaker 1: Giselle lost her bestie, but she also lost her her
- 12:11Speaker 1: Nemesison to me kind of yes, So she doesn't need
- 12:13Speaker 1: a best So what's different? You know?
- 12:16Speaker 2: So for for Candice, it was easy because she made
- 12:19Speaker 2: that decision herself, and for Robin it wasn't because she
- 12:24Speaker 2: was not asked back, and it was something I think
- 12:26Speaker 2: that was expected, you know between in the broader world,
- 12:29Speaker 2: like they called the rober Vers, because you can't expect
- 12:32Speaker 2: to do these shows Marisol, right and lie and not
- 12:36Speaker 2: open up your life. Yeah, you know, that's what we
- 12:39Speaker 2: sign up for, and this is why the viewers watch us,
- 12:42Speaker 2: and they get so invested in our lives, and that's
- 12:46Speaker 2: how I'm invested as well. I mean, like I feel
- 12:48Speaker 2: like everybody like knows my life and like I kind
- 12:50Speaker 2: of owe it to them. And we'll talk about that later, right,
- 12:54Speaker 2: because like we become public figures, and I know we're
- 12:57Speaker 2: going to be talking about that later with about Kate Middleton,
- 13:01Speaker 2: and do we have that responsibility you know as a
- 13:05Speaker 2: public figure, you know, to take a break or we
- 13:09Speaker 2: don't take a break and decide to share our lives
- 13:12Speaker 2: or not when you're going through something, right, I mean,
- 13:15Speaker 2: you would pay in our kind of show, right, I'm
- 13:17Speaker 2: not even comparing us to the Princess of Wales. But
- 13:20Speaker 2: what I'm trying to say is that it's like a
- 13:23Speaker 2: fine line. I feel like us girls that are in
- 13:25Speaker 2: d shows, it is our responsibility because that's what we
- 13:29Speaker 2: sign up for. This is why the viewers are watching us.
- 13:31Speaker 2: And I think what really hurt Robin was the fact
- 13:34Speaker 2: that she kept that away from the rest of the
- 13:37Speaker 2: ladies and her personal relationship with her husband, and then
- 13:40Speaker 2: she went on her podcast and she shared all that stuff.
- 13:44Speaker 2: I think that that's where she got into trouble because yeah,
- 13:48Speaker 2: you know, because I mean I feel like if she
- 13:49Speaker 2: would have shared, you know, as much as she could,
- 13:52Speaker 2: you know, because people love to judge and you don't
- 13:56Speaker 2: know what's going through the person's mind, even like with Kyle,
- 13:59Speaker 2: like you know, Kyle Richard's on Beverly Hills. You know,
- 14:02Speaker 2: she shared as much as she could. You know, sometimes
- 14:04Speaker 2: you're not in that person's heart, in that person's mind
- 14:07Speaker 2: at the moment. You know, you're scared, you're going through
- 14:10Speaker 2: all these different feelings and emotions.
- 14:12Speaker 1: And she she shared pretty much. I mean, you know,
- 14:15Speaker 1: she does have children that she lives with and a
- 14:20Speaker 1: small child still at home that she has to you know,
- 14:23Speaker 1: consider you know her feelings, and you know, maybe she
- 14:26Speaker 1: did dipper putting the lady upon. Maybe she's not sure
- 14:29Speaker 1: that's the way she wants to go. Maybe at the
- 14:31Speaker 1: time they film, she wasn't sure. She wasn't going to
- 14:34Speaker 1: get back with most So we caught as it was happening.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Most of the audience has to know and the viewers that,
- 14:41Speaker 2: you know, we as women want to protect our families.
- 14:45Speaker 1: We're not allowed to alexia. No, yes you are, yes,
- 14:48Speaker 1: you are so.
- 14:49Speaker 2: But what I'm trying to say is we and you know,
- 14:51Speaker 2: when you're going through something like this and the cameras
- 14:53Speaker 2: are there, you know you you're scared because you know,
- 14:57Speaker 2: obviously another part of it is, you know, there's editing,
- 15:00Speaker 2: there's other women. You can control what they're saying, so
- 15:03Speaker 2: and I can turn into a shit show in just
- 15:05Speaker 2: like a second. So I understand why sometimes, you know,
- 15:08Speaker 2: people always like to see the bad in it and say, oh,
- 15:11Speaker 2: because you're lying or you're withholding information, blah blah blah.
- 15:14Speaker 2: But that's really not always the case because it's hard
- 15:17Speaker 2: when you're going through it. But I do understand that,
- 15:19Speaker 2: you know, we do sign up, you know for this
- 15:22Speaker 2: kind of stuff, and by the way, guys, there's no
- 15:25Speaker 2: secrets nowadays, right, there's no secrets.
- 15:27Speaker 1: There's like there's always someone coming out of the woodworks
- 15:29Speaker 1: telling yourself.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Somebody's bringing out a receipt, somebody's bringing out a text,
- 15:34Speaker 2: somebody's bringing out a picture, and and that's what it is.
- 15:37Speaker 2: So you really can't be on these kind of shows
- 15:40Speaker 2: if you're gonna lie or you're gonna withhold information, because
- 15:43Speaker 2: what happens is somebody else brings it up and then
- 15:46Speaker 2: you have no control of your narrative because it's you know,
- 15:49Speaker 2: rumors and and you know everybody making things.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Up and they just run with it. They run with it,
- 15:55Speaker 1: they exaggerate it, and especially when you don't know, the
- 15:58Speaker 1: mind creates such an exaggeration of what the reality probably
- 16:02Speaker 1: is because you're just guessing. And we always go to
- 16:05Speaker 1: the worst possible case. I know, I do. I always
- 16:08Speaker 1: think the worst of everything.
- 16:09Speaker 2: I mean, I think women are like that, and they're
- 16:12Speaker 2: very you know, especially when you're like in a group
- 16:14Speaker 2: like we are, you know, with your cast members and
- 16:17Speaker 2: on the show, and they're just like easy, you know
- 16:20Speaker 2: to assume things and speculate, and a lot of times
- 16:25Speaker 2: they're even careless with their words, right, So it's it's
- 16:28Speaker 2: hard because you don't know when you're gonna you're gonna
- 16:31Speaker 2: share something like this with the group on the show.
- 16:35Speaker 2: You're scared of other people's reactions. You don't know, you
- 16:38Speaker 2: know how they're going to turn your words, they're gonna
- 16:42Speaker 2: turn things.
- 16:43Speaker 1: But you know it's hard.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I mean, have you ever has there there been a
- 16:46Speaker 2: time while you've been doing this all these years that
- 16:49Speaker 2: you've wanted to step away from the show because you
- 16:52Speaker 2: just can't do it.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Actually, I wanted other people to step away that were
- 16:56Speaker 1: torturing me. I wasn't gonna go, but I wanted them
- 16:58Speaker 1: to go. Oh my god, we can have control of that, right.
- 17:01Speaker 1: That list was long. They're pretty much all gone now,
- 17:04Speaker 1: so my man as beested that, right, right, But you're
- 17:08Speaker 1: so imabit, Well we have a scraggler left.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Right, Well, yeah, that makes it even harder, right when
- 17:15Speaker 2: there's other girls obviously that are part of the cast
- 17:17Speaker 2: that you're not comfortable with and there are always a
- 17:20Speaker 2: problem So of course we would want them to go.
- 17:22Speaker 2: But have you ever wanted to go? Have you ever said.
- 17:25Speaker 1: No, I haven't. I wanted other people to go, not me.
- 17:28Speaker 1: What about you? Have you aside from that maybe no, No, no,
- 17:33Speaker 1: well no, that's that's different. No.
- 17:35Speaker 2: I mean, for so long I'm a fighter, Nobody's gonna
- 17:38Speaker 2: bring me down.
- 17:40Speaker 1: So you know what, No, I'm going to go out
- 17:42Speaker 1: of there.
- 17:43Speaker 2: No, I'm going to go when Alexia wants to go,
- 17:46Speaker 2: when anybody else decides it for me, right, And you know,
- 17:49Speaker 2: and I always want like the viewers, you know, to
- 17:52Speaker 2: to love me and love my story and to follow
- 17:54Speaker 2: my journey and you know, to see who I really am,
- 17:57Speaker 2: because I feel like I am who I am with
- 18:00Speaker 2: or without the camera. But that's you know that, you know,
- 18:05Speaker 2: I've always said that I'll know when when I'm ready,
- 18:10Speaker 2: you know, just like I feel like Candice knew that
- 18:12Speaker 2: she was ready now, whether it's because she's going to
- 18:14Speaker 2: go on tour, or whether's because she wants to focus
- 18:16Speaker 2: on on you know, on herself and her you know,
- 18:21Speaker 2: her marriage with her husband, or she wants to relocate
- 18:23Speaker 2: to a different city, whatever it may be. Right, I
- 18:26Speaker 2: think that we have to know when to go and
- 18:29Speaker 2: to do it with with class and with dignity like
- 18:31Speaker 2: she did, because you know, a lot of times, unfortunately,
- 18:36Speaker 2: you know a lot of times seasons don't go as
- 18:38Speaker 2: well as we want them to go that season, and
- 18:42Speaker 2: you're like, Okay, well, I don't want to come back,
- 18:45Speaker 2: but I feel like they're making a mistake. I feel
- 18:47Speaker 2: like you should want to come back right and say, Okay,
- 18:49Speaker 2: you know I didn't have such a great season, but
- 18:52Speaker 2: you know this season, I'm going to you know, try
- 18:54Speaker 2: to be better or do better or you know, work
- 18:57Speaker 2: on the things that you didn't like about what you
- 18:59Speaker 2: saw in the previously sas. And you know that's that's
- 19:01Speaker 2: how I am, right, And I don't even really watch
- 19:04Speaker 2: my show, but I'm there, so I don't even I
- 19:06Speaker 2: don't need to watch.
- 19:07Speaker 1: But I love when you get upset with me about
- 19:09Speaker 1: things on our show, and I'm like, Alexia, but you
- 19:11Speaker 1: haven't even watched it.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Right, But I'm like, but I don't need to watch
- 19:15Speaker 2: it because I was there, so like I don't you know,
- 19:17Speaker 2: I don't know how they showed it, but I was there.
- 19:19Speaker 1: I know what they said and I know what went down.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Have you ever felt like being in the public eye
- 19:33Speaker 1: was too overwhelming for you?
- 19:36Speaker 2: Actually, I think that it's been overwhelming and more than
- 19:41Speaker 2: I don't even know that the correct word is overwhelming,
- 19:44Speaker 2: but it's been hard for me, has been with my kids.
- 19:50Speaker 2: It's been like, you know, my family, you know, it's
- 19:52Speaker 2: been about Peter, it's you know, when Frankie went through
- 19:56Speaker 2: the accident, you know, it was a different world. Thankfully,
- 19:59Speaker 2: social media wasn't a big thing. I had just gone Instagram,
- 20:02Speaker 2: and even if it was, you know, I was not
- 20:06Speaker 2: ready to share that with the world because I was
- 20:09Speaker 2: so sensitive and I was so you know, involved and
- 20:14Speaker 2: absorbed with just recovering Frankie that there's no way I
- 20:18Speaker 2: could have shared that. Like, you know, everybody handles their
- 20:21Speaker 2: things differently, and that's what I'm trying to say. That's
- 20:23Speaker 2: why I applied wordy that has so much courage to
- 20:27Speaker 2: do it. But I just couldn't do it, Marathon. You
- 20:30Speaker 2: know that I just couldn't know, And that's why I recited.
- 20:35Speaker 2: You know, I didn't even like it wasn't even like
- 20:37Speaker 2: a conversation like it was down. It was like, I
- 20:40Speaker 2: just can't do it. Yeah, it was just too.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Too big and too raw and too really like it
- 20:45Speaker 1: was very real. It was real. It was a tragedy
- 20:49Speaker 1: and it was you could have never even put this
- 20:53Speaker 1: on television. Yeah, it was. It was really bad.
- 20:56Speaker 2: So I, you know, and it was different times too,
- 20:58Speaker 2: I feel like, and I think that luckily for me,
- 21:01Speaker 2: you know, I was protected with that because I feel
- 21:03Speaker 2: like nowadays, you know, the world is so like everybody
- 21:07Speaker 2: wants to know everything. There's like no privacy and everything
- 21:10Speaker 2: wants everybody wants to document everything. And you know, okay, yes, awareness,
- 21:15Speaker 2: but you know, you have to be sensitive towards at
- 21:18Speaker 2: least meet medical issues. And I can say that because
- 21:22Speaker 2: I went through it myself and I was not ready.
- 21:26Speaker 2: I mean, I just couldn't do it. I just couldn't
- 21:28Speaker 2: do it. And that's why we're going to be talking.
- 21:31Speaker 2: We're going to get into Ky Middleton now, because I can.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Relate to her.
- 21:35Speaker 2: You know, I think like things about divorce or litigation
- 21:40Speaker 2: or different things that aren't medical or easier, but something
- 21:45Speaker 2: that's life or death that affects you, affects your family
- 21:49Speaker 2: like that. You don't know until happens to you how
- 21:52Speaker 2: you're going to react to this. And it's not that
- 21:53Speaker 2: you want to keep anything from the world, because everybody
- 21:55Speaker 2: would ask me the same thing.
- 21:56Speaker 1: But it's franky.
- 21:57Speaker 2: And again, there was no social media, thank the Lord
- 22:00Speaker 2: writing these stories, and there was no Page six calling
- 22:03Speaker 2: me and there was no you know, daily mail, there was.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Nothing of that. Thank god. You know what you need
- 22:08Speaker 1: to You need to have your mind as peaceful as
- 22:12Speaker 1: it can be a lot of white light around you
- 22:14Speaker 1: when you're dealing with medical issues. You don't want a
- 22:16Speaker 1: ton of people thinking, asking, speculating, breathing down your neck.
- 22:21Speaker 1: It's just the time of pulling yourself together and getting
- 22:24Speaker 1: tough and really having good energy around you when we're
- 22:27Speaker 1: dealing with health issues.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Yes, I mean, you already have the pressure of dealing
- 22:32Speaker 2: with it within your family, because a tragedy like this,
- 22:36Speaker 2: you know, destroys the family. It breaks the family. It
- 22:39Speaker 2: makes you together, but it's it's just so so hard
- 22:42Speaker 2: for family when you have kids and and and that's
- 22:47Speaker 2: why I really respect how everybody handles their medical emergencies because.
- 22:53Speaker 1: That's very the way that they do.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Because it's a very person thing and we really don't
- 22:58Speaker 2: owe anything to the world. I think that we need
- 23:00Speaker 2: to to make ourselves better and be ready to open
- 23:04Speaker 2: up to the world and be able to share something
- 23:06Speaker 2: like that.
- 23:07Speaker 1: M Yeah, I mean after the fact, after you've been
- 23:11Speaker 1: through it and you've you've kind of you know, healed
- 23:14Speaker 1: as much as you can. Then you come back and
- 23:17Speaker 1: tell everyone your story when you're ready to tell them
- 23:19Speaker 1: your story. I think a lot of people do it
- 23:21Speaker 1: that way.
- 23:22Speaker 2: And that's how I see k Middleton. You know the
- 23:25Speaker 2: fact that she was missing, you know, for a few months,
- 23:30Speaker 2: and people were speculating, and they had all these different theories,
- 23:35Speaker 2: you know all I said, I was actually really worried,
- 23:37Speaker 2: and you can, like ask Todd. I was like, I'm
- 23:39Speaker 2: believe like if I knew her, like if she was
- 23:41Speaker 2: like my friend.
- 23:42Speaker 1: I was like, you know what, was really worried about her? No,
- 23:46Speaker 1: me too.
- 23:47Speaker 2: And when I saw it on the because I told you,
- 23:49Speaker 2: I don't I don't watch the news that I don't
- 23:51Speaker 2: really follow, like I tell you, I'm like Harley on
- 23:53Speaker 2: social media, the whole thing. But when I saw it,
- 23:56Speaker 2: like on Channel six or seven here, and I was like,
- 23:58Speaker 2: oh my god, babe, I told you Ky Middleton and
- 24:01Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm really worried about her.
- 24:03Speaker 1: And he's like, oh, you know, maybe, you.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Know, everybody was speculating the same thing, that she was
- 24:08Speaker 2: having marital problems and this, that and the other.
- 24:11Speaker 1: You know what. I thought that too. When I saw
- 24:13Speaker 1: that he was having an affair, I was like, he's.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Just like his fathers, and.
- 24:17Speaker 1: That was one of the speculations that he was having
- 24:19Speaker 1: an affair, and I was like, he's just like this,
- 24:25Speaker 1: and there's gonna be a new lady in town, just
- 24:27Speaker 1: like Camilla. I thought for that one.
- 24:29Speaker 2: I didn't because I didn't, you know, I'm so like,
- 24:32Speaker 2: that's what I love about.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Me, That's what about you.
- 24:38Speaker 2: I'm sorry, but I do is the fact that I'm
- 24:42Speaker 2: not influenced by the media or by other people, like
- 24:45Speaker 2: I have my idea and that's why I was like,
- 24:47Speaker 2: legit concerned. I was like, something terrible has to be
- 24:52Speaker 2: happening to this woman. And I honestly even had her
- 24:55Speaker 2: in my prayers. I was like, there's just no way
- 24:57Speaker 2: something happened.
- 24:58Speaker 1: You're very tragic. You were with something. Well.
- 25:01Speaker 2: I always pray for a lot of things that bother
- 25:03Speaker 2: me to take away my piece, and that was one
- 25:04Speaker 2: of them. I was like, what is like, something happened
- 25:07Speaker 2: to this woman? Like something, I mean, she's going through
- 25:09Speaker 2: something horrible, because the only way that you can disconnect
- 25:13Speaker 2: from the world and her being a public person, is
- 25:16Speaker 2: when you're going through something so horrible that you can't
- 25:19Speaker 2: even wake up in the morning and and talk and
- 25:22Speaker 2: you know, and I.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Can relate to that because that's how it was.
- 25:25Speaker 2: I didn't want to see anybody, I didn't want to
- 25:27Speaker 2: talk to anybody. So that's and again I'm not even
- 25:30Speaker 2: comparing myself to her, but that's like I can see that.
- 25:34Speaker 2: I was like, she has to be going through something
- 25:36Speaker 2: so horrific. And it's not that her husband cheated on earth.
- 25:39Speaker 2: I thought that was like whatever.
- 25:40Speaker 1: That that wasn't. That wasn't. That was actually news from
- 25:44Speaker 1: a few years ago too, that they were speculating that
- 25:46Speaker 1: he was still with this woman that they were saying
- 25:48Speaker 1: that he had had an affair with before, right, So
- 25:50Speaker 1: that's why, I mean.
- 25:51Speaker 2: That's another that's another story, right because I mean that's
- 25:54Speaker 2: the other thing you get from being in the public
- 25:55Speaker 2: eye that everybody's always going to speculate and there's always
- 25:58Speaker 2: going to be a story out there. But again, I
- 26:00Speaker 2: was sincerely, sincerely concerned about her.
- 26:03Speaker 1: I think it's been a learning lesson for everyone that
- 26:07Speaker 1: was on her.
- 26:08Speaker 2: I mean, I'm not want to go on social media
- 26:10Speaker 2: anyways and you know, and make remarks and make you
- 26:12Speaker 2: know about other people, like that's not my style. So
- 26:15Speaker 2: I'm never there but first of all, I didn't think
- 26:17Speaker 2: it and I didn't even Yeah.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Just a lot of the talk show hosts were making
- 26:21Speaker 1: fun of her, right, But I know about.
- 26:23Speaker 2: It, right, so we know that The view hosts expressed
- 26:26Speaker 2: remorse for fueling the conspiracy theories surrounding Kate Middleton's whereabouts
- 26:31Speaker 2: following the royal's recent cancer announcement. On Monday's episode of
- 26:35Speaker 2: the Daytime talk show, the women addressed Middleton's diagnosis with
- 26:38Speaker 2: Whoopy Goldberg asking the table what their thoughts were, and
- 26:42Speaker 2: obviously they all said they felt awful. Whoopy was right,
- 26:47Speaker 2: and I'm guilty of getting into the fun of worst
- 26:50Speaker 2: Kate and thinking it's funny and sharing the memes and
- 26:52Speaker 2: playing into that.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Can I just say something about the view, because you know,
- 26:57Speaker 1: since I'm retired, aside from the show, I spent a
- 26:59Speaker 1: lot of time in front of the time television. They're so
- 27:02Speaker 1: negative on there that everyone's actually so negative on the View.
- 27:07Speaker 1: It's gotten so hard to watch. And I used to
- 27:10Speaker 1: enjoy it, and I just don't anymore. And so I'm
- 27:14Speaker 1: not surprised that they did all of this, but they
- 27:16Speaker 1: come back in the world. I mean, are you're talking
- 27:18Speaker 1: about the view? Everybody's just no.
- 27:21Speaker 2: I know, but I'm just saying like in general, not
- 27:23Speaker 2: that you bring that up. I don't watch the view,
- 27:25Speaker 2: but I do remember and recall liking it, and I
- 27:29Speaker 2: have seen different clips and they are they're like angry,
- 27:32Speaker 2: they're like mean, and a lot of these talk shows
- 27:35Speaker 2: are about that. But I feel like it's the whole
- 27:37Speaker 2: world Maraso. It's like on social media, it's like TV shows,
- 27:41Speaker 2: it's you know, the talk It's like it's all this
- 27:43Speaker 2: hate and all this anger, and it talks so much
- 27:46Speaker 2: freedom of speech. There's no empathy, there's no compassion. I mean,
- 27:50Speaker 2: that is wrong with people.
- 27:51Speaker 1: I think, well, you know what it's like. It's like
- 27:54Speaker 1: when you're in a working environment. If you have one
- 27:57Speaker 1: grumpy person in the office, then everyone starts to become grumpy.
- 28:01Speaker 1: It's like that one bad apple ruins the whole bunch,
- 28:04Speaker 1: and now the whole world is just becoming like this way.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Everyone gets on social media and attacks you for no reason.
- 28:12Speaker 1: I mean, I'm horrified at the things some people write me.
- 28:15Speaker 2: Well, do you see why why I don't like it?
- 28:17Speaker 2: I was you see why I don't like it? I
- 28:19Speaker 2: was so happy when they almost were taking off TikTok.
- 28:22Speaker 2: I was like, oh my god, get wit old because
- 28:24Speaker 2: I'm not on that platform, and I just think it's toxic.
- 28:28Speaker 2: I just think it's toxic, the whole social media thing.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Like I can just sit here for hours and you know,
- 28:35Speaker 2: talking about all the negative stuff. There might be two
- 28:37Speaker 2: or three good stuff, some pros, but I feel just
- 28:42Speaker 2: more negative and just and it's heaving the world.
- 28:46Speaker 1: They were saying that the the view that the palace
- 28:50Speaker 1: totally mishandled the pr and then you know, as a consequence,
- 28:55Speaker 1: the public mishandled it, spreading all the rumors. But I
- 28:58Speaker 1: actually kind of think, I don't know what you say,
- 29:00Speaker 1: told me what you think that they didn't know the
- 29:03Speaker 1: gravity of the situation because the family wasn't really sharing
- 29:07Speaker 1: with anybody until the hospital leaked it and then everything
- 29:11Speaker 1: turned out to be worse than they had expected. And
- 29:14Speaker 1: then by that point everybody was like, where's our princess?
- 29:17Speaker 1: Because you know, the whole world's looking for their future
- 29:20Speaker 1: queen because she disappeared for two months, and you know, no,
- 29:24Speaker 1: I can't understand that. Right. Of course, they found out
- 29:29Speaker 1: afterwards that she was quite ill. They were probably trying
- 29:31Speaker 1: to organize themselves as a family internally before they even
- 29:35Speaker 1: shared it with anybody to even handle pr properly. They
- 29:41Speaker 1: I think they found out too late that she was
- 29:44Speaker 1: so unwell, and so they sat on it. Abo Draive
- 29:48Speaker 1: the rumor real just went rampant, right Yeah, But I mean,
- 29:53Speaker 1: I think it's a lesson to everybody.
- 29:55Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I feel like it's a lesson to
- 29:58Speaker 2: everybody that everybody's doing with personal struggles and sometimes you
- 30:01Speaker 2: have no idea about it and you just have to,
- 30:04Speaker 2: you know, just give the person whoever, maybe whether it's
- 30:08Speaker 2: the princess or whether it's just a regular person, the
- 30:11Speaker 2: time and when they're ready to share.
- 30:14Speaker 1: What they're going through, they're going to open up and
- 30:17Speaker 1: they're going to share it. And in that.
- 30:18Speaker 2: Case, she herself gave the whole when she was ready
- 30:21Speaker 2: that she can put herself together. And then she was
- 30:24Speaker 2: medically cleared because she did have the abdomen surgery and
- 30:27Speaker 2: I guess as the result of that, that's when they
- 30:29Speaker 2: found out that, right she had the cancer.
- 30:32Speaker 1: Cancer. I'm really worried about her. I'm worried.
- 30:36Speaker 2: No, I mean I am too, you know, I'm hoping
- 30:38Speaker 2: and she's doing the preventive chemotherapy that that's going to work.
- 30:43Speaker 2: But you know, imagine this woman going through that news,
- 30:46Speaker 2: just receiving that news, Marasol. It's just like, you know,
- 30:49Speaker 2: your whole world is shattered, like and it's a lesson
- 30:52Speaker 2: to everyone that it's like your life changes in a
- 30:55Speaker 2: second second, in a second. I mean, I'm sure she
- 30:58Speaker 2: was just going in for like an autom and surgery.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Maybe something was bothering hairs, like a lot of people
- 31:03Speaker 2: have about the surgery, and that was the news. So
- 31:06Speaker 2: it's like just taking that in thinking of you know,
- 31:09Speaker 2: her children, her husband, just everything, you know, and William's father, Charles,
- 31:16Speaker 2: is also sick with cancer. It's like your whole world
- 31:19Speaker 2: falls apart, and then you're dealing with the other world,
- 31:24Speaker 2: you know, saying all these rumors and lies and speculations.
- 31:29Speaker 1: You know, she's not like a regular celebrity because let's
- 31:32Speaker 1: face it, if you know, you know, for example, look
- 31:35Speaker 1: at Bruce Willis, he hasn't been well. They've shared a
- 31:38Speaker 1: little bit here and there. They don't explode. I think
- 31:40Speaker 1: they shared from the beginning, but a little bit here
- 31:44Speaker 1: and there, Like they don't put him on camera and
- 31:46Speaker 1: showing him talking and ill or anything like that, right,
- 31:49Speaker 1: there's no need for them. But but you know, nobody
- 31:52Speaker 1: would have noticed if they hadn't brought it up. But
- 31:55Speaker 1: people do look for the queen, you know, because they are.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Somebody like her that had all her duties. And you know,
- 32:01Speaker 2: we did know that she had gone in for surgery.
- 32:04Speaker 2: I think where they went wrong was the fact that
- 32:06Speaker 2: when they received the results of the surgery and that
- 32:10Speaker 2: new information, they didn't know how to handle it absolutely
- 32:14Speaker 2: and they got scared. I mean, and they all are royalty,
- 32:16Speaker 2: so they controlled the media on everything, so they were
- 32:18Speaker 2: like no, I mean, they just you know, we're not insided.
- 32:21Speaker 1: We don't know like if they would have done any
- 32:22Speaker 1: different now, they really can't have privacy in a family
- 32:26Speaker 1: like that. They're not like other celebrities that can just
- 32:29Speaker 1: disappear and then come back, new movie, new album after
- 32:32Speaker 1: a couple of years. People don't notice when they're gone,
- 32:34Speaker 1: but when you were in the public eye like that,
- 32:36Speaker 1: and you know, position of like of that magnitude, people notice.
- 32:42Speaker 1: And so oh, absolutely absolutely.
- 32:53Speaker 2: So.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Stephen Colbert addresses backlash over Kate Middleton jokes maybe for
- 32:57Speaker 1: her cancer announcement. I do not make light of somebody
- 33:00Speaker 1: else's tragedy we do a lot of shows. I tell
- 33:04Speaker 1: a lot of jokes. I tell jokes about a lot
- 33:06Speaker 1: of different things, mostly about when everybody is talking about.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Colbert says, for the last six weeks to two months,
- 33:14Speaker 1: everybody has been talking about the mystery of Kate Middleton's
- 33:16Speaker 1: disappearance from the public. Two weeks ago. We did some
- 33:20Speaker 1: jokes about that mystery when I made when I made
- 33:23Speaker 1: those jokes that upset some people even before her diagnosis
- 33:26Speaker 1: was revealed. I can understand that a lot of my
- 33:30Speaker 1: jokes have upset people in the past, and some of
- 33:32Speaker 1: my jokes will upset people in the future. But there's
- 33:34Speaker 1: a standard that I try to hold myself to, and
- 33:38Speaker 1: that is that I do not make light of somebody
- 33:40Speaker 1: else's tragedy. Well, you know, because that's what it is.
- 33:43Speaker 1: It's a tragedy. It really is a tragedy. He just
- 33:47Speaker 1: jumped on that bandwagon like everybody else with the speculation
- 33:51Speaker 1: and the jokes, and you know, and unfortunately it was
- 33:55Speaker 1: something really horrible that was really at the you know
- 33:58Speaker 1: the surface of all of this. Well, I'll see.
- 34:01Speaker 2: So do you think the public was too harsh in
- 34:04Speaker 2: the speculation or do.
- 34:05Speaker 1: You think, yeah, but the problem is that if you
- 34:11Speaker 1: let people's minds wander, they will go to the most
- 34:14Speaker 1: drastic situation and throw it out there. So they had
- 34:17Speaker 1: zero information, so everybody speculated and then it became jokes
- 34:22Speaker 1: and then you know, like we talked about the social
- 34:24Speaker 1: media and the television, it just gets out of control
- 34:27Speaker 1: and it's very toxic. So yeah, they overdid it, but
- 34:30Speaker 1: they had no info. Right. I feel a lot of
- 34:33Speaker 1: people are remorseful because yeah they are now they have
- 34:37Speaker 1: to be there and they have to be like idiots.
- 34:39Speaker 1: They have to be right.
- 34:40Speaker 2: I mean they have to be after you know, the
- 34:43Speaker 2: presentation that she gave and how she opened up you know, herself,
- 34:48Speaker 2: and how vulnerable she was and with the paint that
- 34:51Speaker 2: she spoke about. I mean, you have to be remorseful.
- 34:54Speaker 2: And I think it's just a lesson to everyone you
- 34:57Speaker 2: know too, yeah you know themselves back, you know, to
- 35:01Speaker 2: give people before you speculate.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Mm hmmm. Well I unfortunately, my friend, I don't think
- 35:09Speaker 1: people are going to do that. You know, it's a
- 35:12Speaker 1: week later and there's no news and do things out
- 35:15Speaker 1: and I'm reading stuff online and it's just crazy. So
- 35:19Speaker 1: do you crazy?
- 35:20Speaker 2: So so you were saying that you that you think
- 35:23Speaker 2: that she is a pri as a public figure, she
- 35:26Speaker 2: doesn't have the right to privacy.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Well, unfortunately, in her position as future queen, people will
- 35:33Speaker 1: notice when she's not around. Like I said before, she
- 35:36Speaker 1: is actually wrong. It was it was actually very wrong,
- 35:39Speaker 1: yes for her, for her, but other celebrities can get
- 35:43Speaker 1: away with it. There's so many singers, there's so many actors.
- 35:46Speaker 2: But do you think public figures do you think they
- 35:49Speaker 2: have the right to privacy.
- 35:50Speaker 1: I think everybody has a right to privacy, but I
- 35:53Speaker 1: don't think she's allowed to have privacy. She's not different
- 35:57Speaker 1: than other celebrities.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean that makes sense. I understand she's not
- 36:01Speaker 2: just the public figure. She's like the face of her country.
- 36:04Speaker 2: She's like the future queen. She's the princess.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Yes, and people notice if they didn't.
- 36:10Speaker 2: She has public duties, right, and it's been a long time,
- 36:12Speaker 2: so yeah, right, you know, I think looking back the
- 36:15Speaker 2: you know, the they would have.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Handled it differently. I think, well, you know what, I
- 36:21Speaker 1: think in the end, it worked out fine because now
- 36:23Speaker 1: everyone feels like an asshole, like shit, oh exactly, good on,
- 36:27Speaker 1: like shit and good good on, you know. Unfortunately for her,
- 36:32Speaker 1: you know, but yeah, they do.
- 36:34Speaker 2: Have you ever and have you ever dealt with something
- 36:36Speaker 2: private and you were were forced to make it public
- 36:40Speaker 2: because sometimes you're dealing through something private and you're like
- 36:43Speaker 2: forced to make a public I did.
- 36:46Speaker 1: I did, and you were there with me when we
- 36:49Speaker 1: were started filming season three and my mom fell and
- 36:53Speaker 1: she couldn't film anymore, and everybody was like, where's Elso,
- 36:57Speaker 1: where's ELSEO? Where's also? What's Elsa? And of course I
- 37:00Speaker 1: wanted too protective mode that's my mother, and I obviously,
- 37:04Speaker 1: you know, shared things in a very light, over the
- 37:08Speaker 1: top manner and didn't really share the gravity of her situation.
- 37:12Speaker 1: I said, she fell, she had some brain surgery, She's
- 37:15Speaker 1: gonna be okay. I actually thought she would be okay.
- 37:18Speaker 1: She never did get better, and then you know, I
- 37:21Speaker 1: understand like what the royal family has done. I wanted
- 37:25Speaker 1: to protect I protected her, and I I you know,
- 37:29Speaker 1: I didn't let people come see her because I wanted
- 37:32Speaker 1: her to have dignity because she was in a really
- 37:34Speaker 1: bad way, as you know you saw her, and it
- 37:38Speaker 1: just was easier to not have people see her and
- 37:42Speaker 1: then go out and talk about how she really was.
- 37:44Speaker 1: So I hid her and I didn't tell the whole
- 37:47Speaker 1: truth because you know, again because it was painful. I mean,
- 37:50Speaker 1: it's still does sting me. Right, you need to understand,
- 37:55Speaker 1: like you're going through this pain and it's just so
- 37:57Speaker 1: hard within yourself and your family. Then to share it,
- 38:01Speaker 1: you just need a moment, you know, you just need
- 38:03Speaker 1: them on the top of that. You know, I kept thinking,
- 38:05Speaker 1: she's remember I tell you, she's gonna be fine. She's
- 38:07Speaker 1: gonna get better, She's gonna get better. And I kept thinking,
- 38:09Speaker 1: she's gonna get better if she heard I told everyone
- 38:16Speaker 1: that she was laid up at a bed and I didn't
- 38:20Speaker 1: let anyone come visit. She is going to kill me.
- 38:23Speaker 1: So but I you know, I did what I thought
- 38:25Speaker 1: was best. You know, like like children don't come with
- 38:28Speaker 1: a handbook, parents don't come with the handbook. Illness doesn't
- 38:31Speaker 1: come with a handbook. It's a play by play. You go,
- 38:34Speaker 1: you go with your heart in the moment, and you
- 38:35Speaker 1: try to do your best, you know, try to do
- 38:38Speaker 1: your best. I just wanted her to have some dignity
- 38:40Speaker 1: in her in her life and in her illness and
- 38:43Speaker 1: in her last you know, years of her life. It
- 38:45Speaker 1: was hard, and I know you went through something so
- 38:48Speaker 1: similar to you know. Yeah, I mean I've gone through
- 38:50Speaker 1: it a lot.
- 38:51Speaker 2: I've gone through a lot of things that you know,
- 38:54Speaker 2: that were private, and a lot of families consider it
- 38:59Speaker 2: private and you're forced to share it with the world
- 39:03Speaker 2: because it becomes public. Yeah, and then you just feel
- 39:07Speaker 2: like sometimes you just have to go out and speak.
- 39:09Speaker 2: And you know, a lot of times I decide, you know,
- 39:10Speaker 2: I've decided not to do that and not to give
- 39:12Speaker 2: it more light. But but you know, like I said,
- 39:16Speaker 2: every family handles it differently. And for me, the medical
- 39:20Speaker 2: like what you went through with your mom, what I
- 39:22Speaker 2: went through with Frankie, what you know Kate Middleton's going
- 39:25Speaker 2: through is is you know, it's completely different. It's it's
- 39:30Speaker 2: completely different when you're dealing with health and with something
- 39:34Speaker 2: that's medical.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Yeah, and and I know we've talked about this a lot.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Sometimes you just have to rip that band aid off
- 39:42Speaker 1: and tell your story because you can't have other people
- 39:45Speaker 1: tell it for you because they will just screw it
- 39:46Speaker 1: up and do it one hundred percent. That's why she
- 39:48Speaker 1: wanted to do it.
- 39:49Speaker 2: She didn't want the house, you know, the royal the
- 39:52Speaker 2: house of the Royal family, you know, speak on her behalf.
- 39:55Speaker 2: She wanted to be ready, and that's why I thought
- 39:58Speaker 2: it was so impactful because we heard it from her mouth.
- 40:01Speaker 1: It wasn't the media controlling the news. It was her.
- 40:05Speaker 2: So I respect her so much and my prayers are
- 40:07Speaker 2: with her and her family.
- 40:08Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, mine too, my friend. Well, let's make this
- 40:13Speaker 1: a little bit like a little bit lighter. Let's light
- 40:17Speaker 1: it up. Yeah, let's talk about Shakira.
- 40:22Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you know, yeah, we could get really emotional
- 40:25Speaker 2: and sensitive, but you.
- 40:27Speaker 1: Know I already am. I'm over here tearing up. Yeah.
- 40:30Speaker 1: I get so upset about how things they just really
- 40:32Speaker 1: bust me up. Mm hmmm, same for me.
- 40:36Speaker 2: But you know, speaking of making this lighter, we can
- 40:39Speaker 2: talk about Shakira and and how she's free from her husband.
- 40:44Speaker 2: You see, this is what I'm talking about. I'm talking
- 40:46Speaker 2: about it's so different to talk about your husband and
- 40:49Speaker 2: a divorce and a breakup, even though a lot of
- 40:51Speaker 2: times it is very sad and it is painful, I'm
- 40:54Speaker 2: not taking away from that, but it's a completely different monster.
- 40:57Speaker 1: It's a completely different thing.
- 40:59Speaker 2: Than like fighting for life, right right, That's the point
- 41:02Speaker 2: that I'm trying to say.
- 41:03Speaker 1: Because according to Shakira, she's free. Yeah, she's free. Well
- 41:08Speaker 1: that's she's learned to deal with it by you know,
- 41:12Speaker 1: making herself feel better like she's free and now she
- 41:14Speaker 1: can do her music.
- 41:15Speaker 2: And right, well, I think just like her, you know.
- 41:17Speaker 2: And I feel this like a lot about about a
- 41:19Speaker 2: lot of celebrity couples and just regular couples as well.
- 41:24Speaker 2: The fact that you don't really share that you're going
- 41:28Speaker 2: your different you know, your separate ways until it's really there.
- 41:30Speaker 2: But I felt like they've been dealing with this from before.
- 41:33Speaker 2: It wasn't like they just woke up one day and
- 41:34Speaker 2: announced it to the world that you know, they're breaking
- 41:37Speaker 2: up or that they're getting a divorce.
- 41:39Speaker 1: She was probably given it the college char like many
- 41:42Speaker 1: of us women do or men do. When someone's cheating.
- 41:45Speaker 1: You just hang in there and you figure you can
- 41:47Speaker 1: fix it until you figure out that it's unfixable. And
- 41:50Speaker 1: so yeah, and anyway, well that pain of hers helped
- 41:56Speaker 1: her turn into money. It turned into money because you
- 41:59Speaker 1: know what a hit song.
- 42:01Speaker 2: Yes, so I love that. I love that these singers,
- 42:04Speaker 2: you know, I love that Taylor Swift can do that.
- 42:06Speaker 2: I love that Shakira can do that. And Selena been
- 42:09Speaker 2: pulling out some music here and there, like she says,
- 42:12Speaker 2: but it was really hard for me. This is Shakira speaking.
- 42:14Speaker 2: It was really hard for me to put together a
- 42:16Speaker 2: body of work. Shakira said of why the release is happening. Now,
- 42:21Speaker 2: you see, I didn't have time.
- 42:23Speaker 1: Like you know, you have to give. People are gonna speculate, Oh,
- 42:25Speaker 1: why was it happened?
- 42:26Speaker 2: Twenty million reasons And she's actually speaking out and she's like,
- 42:29Speaker 2: I didn't have time. It was the husband factor. Now
- 42:32Speaker 2: I'm husbandless. Yeah, the husband was dragging me down and
- 42:36Speaker 2: now I'm free. Now I can actually work. Mmm.
- 42:39Speaker 1: I love how she said he was dragging making her down.
- 42:42Speaker 2: Yeah, listen, And a lot of relationships is that we're
- 42:45Speaker 2: going to talk about that now, right. Shakira still seems
- 42:48Speaker 2: a bit sour about the breakup, you know, because I
- 42:51Speaker 2: feel like that takes a long time, and especially the
- 42:54Speaker 2: kind of breakup that she had where he like he
- 42:56Speaker 2: humiliated her. It was it was like a lot of
- 42:59Speaker 2: stuffcause're right, every breakup is different. We need to establish
- 43:01Speaker 2: that too. And again they're a very public her and
- 43:04Speaker 2: pick Air very public, so it's like it's so much harder.
- 43:08Speaker 1: I think the gravity of being dumped is way worse
- 43:12Speaker 1: than being the dumper, and then you're kind of.
- 43:15Speaker 2: Just and even if you're planning on dumping, but if
- 43:18Speaker 2: the guy dumps you before, because you know, sometimes if
- 43:20Speaker 2: that's the case.
- 43:22Speaker 1: I was gonna do it, right, the double cross.
- 43:25Speaker 2: Dumpthing that a lot of times I agree with you.
- 43:27Speaker 2: I mean, even though sometimes you think it's better, Like
- 43:30Speaker 2: for a lot of people, it's hard for them to
- 43:32Speaker 2: do it. So then when the other person dealt is like,
- 43:34Speaker 2: oh God, thank god you did it, because like I
- 43:35Speaker 2: felt really bad about doing it to you. So I
- 43:38Speaker 2: don't know what their case is. But are you forgiving?
- 43:41Speaker 2: Are you a forgiving person?
- 43:43Speaker 1: Right?
- 43:43Speaker 2: If someone does something wrong to you, do you just
- 43:45Speaker 2: cut them out completely? Like?
- 43:47Speaker 1: Is it someone?
- 43:48Speaker 2: Or talk about a guy, Like, let's say a guy
- 43:49Speaker 2: if he does something to you, do you just cut
- 43:52Speaker 2: him out of your life completely? Or do you think
- 43:54Speaker 2: you can still be friends with him?
- 43:57Speaker 1: I've actually, when I think about it, like the worst
- 44:01Speaker 1: experience I've had with somebody is yeah, I literally it
- 44:08Speaker 1: was my last relationship. You know of it? It keeps
- 44:10Speaker 1: counting me on the show I walked away. I never
- 44:15Speaker 1: believe it. It's haunting you. Yeah, and here we're gonna
- 44:18Speaker 1: have to talk about it again. It just and I
- 44:21Speaker 1: was I got he was leaving my bank yesterday and
- 44:23Speaker 1: there he was walking right by. I had to hide
- 44:25Speaker 1: in the banker, I know, I had to hide in
- 44:29Speaker 1: the bank until we walked down the street to get
- 44:31Speaker 1: in my car because I didn't want to even be
- 44:33Speaker 1: faced with him alone in the street. And I cut
- 44:37Speaker 1: him off completely, as you know, I never spoke to
- 44:39Speaker 1: him again, never conversed with him again. And any of
- 44:42Speaker 1: my friends that were became friends with him and stayed
- 44:44Speaker 1: friends with him, and cut them off to and I
- 44:46Speaker 1: did a clean slate because for me, that's just the
- 44:49Speaker 1: way I heal and the way I move on. I
- 44:50Speaker 1: cannot have any more communication. I'm done, I'm finished. It's over.
- 44:54Speaker 1: It's just. But that's like the worst breakup I ever
- 44:58Speaker 1: had in my life. It was just and it's continued
- 45:01Speaker 1: to drag out to this day, like other people keep
- 45:04Speaker 1: bringing it up, like I want to hear about it.
- 45:06Speaker 1: I want to hear about it. It's someone I live
- 45:08Speaker 1: with for like three years, and I don't want to
- 45:10Speaker 1: hear about it anymore. And so yeah, I had to
- 45:12Speaker 1: cut it out because it was like a cad about it.
- 45:14Speaker 2: I'm sorry that you didn't have to say that. But yeah,
- 45:17Speaker 2: so you feel like that, but it's it's not even
- 45:20Speaker 2: like your bit sour. I mean, it's just like it
- 45:22Speaker 2: wasn't a good breakup, so like why do you even
- 45:23Speaker 2: want to talk about it?
- 45:24Speaker 1: I you know, I get it. It was a learning lesson.
- 45:27Speaker 1: I've done that with friends too. You know, that's just
- 45:30Speaker 1: I'm a Capricorn and that's just in my in my sign.
- 45:33Speaker 1: You know, when we're done, we cut, and we're done
- 45:35Speaker 1: and it's over forever and I don't look back.
- 45:38Speaker 2: Well, I mean, in her case, she's going to have
- 45:40Speaker 2: she can't really cut because she has two kids kids
- 45:44Speaker 2: with them. Yeah, so you know, I feel like when
- 45:46Speaker 2: you have kids, it's like it's forever, my friend. It's
- 45:50Speaker 2: like you pay for it, you know, it's like that's
- 45:52Speaker 2: the price that you pay. It's like it's forever. It's
- 45:54Speaker 2: different because obviously the kids grow up and you know,
- 45:57Speaker 2: after their eighteen, you know, truthfully supposedly you don't really
- 46:01Speaker 2: need to have the other parent involved. But until then,
- 46:05Speaker 2: you know, it's like this you know, entanglement that you have,
- 46:09Speaker 2: like whether you like it or not, you're going to
- 46:11Speaker 2: hear about them because the kids are going to come
- 46:13Speaker 2: back and forth and talk about their dad or whatever.
- 46:15Speaker 2: In this case, you know, he's a very public person,
- 46:18Speaker 2: so she's going to read about it or say about it.
- 46:21Speaker 2: But you know, I'm so happy that she just like
- 46:24Speaker 2: you know, moved.
- 46:24Speaker 1: On with her life.
- 46:26Speaker 2: And you know, she's not a great comeback, you know, Yeah,
- 46:28Speaker 2: I got to come back, and I love a comeback,
- 46:30Speaker 2: and I'm so happy for her. I think that it's
- 46:32Speaker 2: been easy for her to do because she's so talented
- 46:36Speaker 2: and she was always a singer that people loved, right,
- 46:40Speaker 2: She's always like so sweet, so cute, you know, and
- 46:44Speaker 2: she's such a great singer and performer. So for her,
- 46:47Speaker 2: it's been easy to do. So I'm happy for her.
- 46:50Speaker 2: But do you think that women should just give up
- 46:52Speaker 2: their careers or like put them on pause, you know,
- 46:55Speaker 2: like Shakira did for PK, or like even Mendez is
- 46:59Speaker 2: kind of doing with Ryan to be a full mom
- 47:02Speaker 2: of a full time mom, or do you think that
- 47:04Speaker 2: they should support their husbands because they're superstars. So here
- 47:08Speaker 2: we're talking about like couples that they're both it's like
- 47:10Speaker 2: power couples, so that they're both equal, they're both you know,
- 47:14Speaker 2: have actor, actors and careers. They're both you know, good
- 47:18Speaker 2: at what they do and they're superstars.
- 47:20Speaker 1: I mean, I guess it depends on where you are
- 47:22Speaker 1: in your life, right, you know, maybe you were a
- 47:25Speaker 1: child star and you no longer you know, desire that anything.
- 47:28Speaker 2: But in this case, for example, Shakier has expressed she
- 47:32Speaker 2: did it she was very jealous.
- 47:35Speaker 1: Every case is different, though it's very difficult to say.
- 47:38Speaker 1: I mean, I know for myself when I had my company,
- 47:42Speaker 1: I was a terrible wife, a terrible The answer is no.
- 47:45Speaker 2: Let me just make for the answers no, because you
- 47:48Speaker 2: know what answer now when you do that, not for
- 47:51Speaker 2: a man. You should do it for yourself. Like I
- 47:54Speaker 2: like that, even meant to says I'm doing this because
- 47:56Speaker 2: I want to do it, not because Ryan's making me
- 47:58Speaker 2: do it because I want to be a full time
- 48:00Speaker 2: mom and I want to be with my kids.
- 48:02Speaker 1: So that's different. You have to decide for yourself if
- 48:06Speaker 1: that's for you. You know what I've learned.
- 48:08Speaker 2: You know what I've learned that all these women that
- 48:10Speaker 2: have done it because of the man, it's come back
- 48:13Speaker 2: to bite them and they all regret it. Because again,
- 48:16Speaker 2: you should do it for yourself. Because it makes you happy,
- 48:19Speaker 2: not because it makes the man happy. Because the last
- 48:23Speaker 2: thing I feel not they do it to you. Look
- 48:24Speaker 2: at what he did to her after she didn't sing
- 48:27Speaker 2: for all those years. Yes, she was a full time,
- 48:29Speaker 2: devoted mom. So you know I don't Yeah, I really
- 48:38Speaker 2: do think that women should do this for themselves. You
- 48:43Speaker 2: have to support your your partner. But just because you're
- 48:46Speaker 2: a bigger star than me, or you're making more money
- 48:48Speaker 2: than me, doesn't mean that I'm going to give up
- 48:50Speaker 2: something that I love to make you happy again if
- 48:54Speaker 2: it makes you happy, Like I always wanted to be
- 48:56Speaker 2: a full time mom, so you know, it was making
- 48:59Speaker 2: me happened the years that I did it, I loved it,
- 49:02Speaker 2: and that's what I did. But then when I was
- 49:03Speaker 2: ready to work, listen, this is what I want to
- 49:05Speaker 2: do now, and that's what I want to work. I
- 49:07Speaker 2: want to work now. I want to do this, I
- 49:08Speaker 2: want to do that. And you need a partner that
- 49:10Speaker 2: supports you.
- 49:12Speaker 1: Well, here miss something on some sort of a power
- 49:13Speaker 1: trip like you know you sol macho and I'm just
- 49:16Speaker 1: a Yeah, I'm a puppy choo. I'm gonna be the
- 49:19Speaker 1: one that makes the money. I'm gonna be the star,
- 49:20Speaker 1: and you're gonna stay home and you're gonna your little
- 49:23Speaker 1: star is gonna fade away. But you know, but you
- 49:25Speaker 1: know what she's talking about. She regrets it, and she
- 49:28Speaker 1: she's not gonna make that mistake again. Right, she learned.
- 49:33Speaker 1: We always learned from our bad choices, especially in relationships,
- 49:36Speaker 1: because I always try to pick somebody very different from
- 49:38Speaker 1: the last person I was with. I think I finally
- 49:41Speaker 1: got it right.
- 49:42Speaker 2: I mean, not everybody learns from I mean, I'm not
- 49:45Speaker 2: saying that was a mistake. I'm not saying because you know,
- 49:48Speaker 2: I don't like to call them mistakes. I like to
- 49:49Speaker 2: call them lessons if we're right. But I think in retrospect,
- 49:54Speaker 2: I think what she's saying is like she's probably reflecting
- 49:57Speaker 2: and saying, you know what, I I don't know that
- 49:59Speaker 2: that was best decision because she really didn't make it
- 50:01Speaker 2: for herself. And that's really like the point here. When
- 50:04Speaker 2: you do it for yourself, like you know, it's different,
- 50:06Speaker 2: like Okay, I'm going to give up doing this because
- 50:09Speaker 2: it doesn't make me happy anymore, and I'm just going
- 50:11Speaker 2: to do this. But when they make you do it,
- 50:13Speaker 2: which is kind of like that, I think that's why
- 50:14Speaker 2: she's so bitter.
- 50:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 50:16Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know, luckily for her, she has talent, right,
- 50:19Speaker 2: she's still young, she's still beautiful, she still has talent,
- 50:23Speaker 2: and she came back, didn't come back, and she's always
- 50:25Speaker 2: going to be shining. And I'm super proud for her.
- 50:28Speaker 1: But we're proudly Shakira. Can I just say one thing
- 50:32Speaker 1: about me as a wife, I'm a much better wife
- 50:35Speaker 1: now that I don't have a job. I'm a fun,
- 50:38Speaker 1: happy wife. And I'm a much better partner now that
- 50:41Speaker 1: I'm not all stressed out with work like I was before.
- 50:44Speaker 1: I was not a good partner when I had my job.
- 50:46Speaker 2: Okay, well I mean that was you but you know
- 50:50Speaker 2: that was different, you know. And she has kids, so
- 50:53Speaker 2: at least she was you know with her kids, and
- 50:54Speaker 2: you know she went to all the games. I mean,
- 50:56Speaker 2: I don't know, I really didn't you know, follow her
- 50:58Speaker 2: life that way. But I know that a lot of
- 51:01Speaker 2: people talk about Eva men does the same.
- 51:04Speaker 3: Thing like you and me, because because she's and she
- 51:11Speaker 3: married a grigg married get there.
- 51:15Speaker 1: You know.
- 51:15Speaker 2: And I've always like she's a great actress too. She's
- 51:18Speaker 2: another one that could do a comeback. I'm like that's
- 51:20Speaker 2: what I want her to do. But you know what,
- 51:22Speaker 2: she's not ready. So it's not what I want or
- 51:24Speaker 2: O Ryan wants, it's what she wants. You know, I'm
- 51:27Speaker 2: sure down the line, she's so young, beautiful, nobody's taking
- 51:30Speaker 2: away her talent, you know, of being you know, an actress,
- 51:33Speaker 2: so she can always go back to that. But you know,
- 51:35Speaker 2: that's the beauty of it. But I feel like she's
- 51:38Speaker 2: satisfied being at home, and she's not doesn't want to
- 51:42Speaker 2: live in Los Angeles, and she really wants to be
- 51:45Speaker 2: that you know, devoted mom and spend time with her
- 51:47Speaker 2: kids and with her husband and.
- 51:50Speaker 1: Y as women.
- 51:52Speaker 2: They live in Los Angeles, but she wants to move
- 51:53Speaker 2: like outside of Los Angeles because she doesn't want to
- 51:55Speaker 2: bring up her children in that environment, you know, like
- 51:58Speaker 2: all the brats that live in LA you know, I.
- 52:00Speaker 1: Guess come to I was hoping the Cubans, you know,
- 52:06Speaker 1: let do my if they're in't too badcelon Hollywood, come
- 52:13Speaker 1: to Miami, Packadora.
- 52:15Speaker 2: That's how I feel, you know, I feel that we
- 52:18Speaker 2: should not do anything like to make the man happy
- 52:22Speaker 2: or to make anybody happy. You know, it's a decision
- 52:24Speaker 2: like that we have to make on our.
- 52:25Speaker 1: Own, make a just drastic alteration of your life for
- 52:29Speaker 1: somebody else's happiness. Because and then you're bitter.
- 52:32Speaker 2: Yes, I mean you should again, just it should be
- 52:35Speaker 2: on you. You should be like, Okay, I'm happy with
- 52:37Speaker 2: this decision. But I think that that's why she's like
- 52:40Speaker 2: so bitter, because you know she regrets.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Oh, you're not talking about Eva anymore.
- 52:46Speaker 2: We're talking about Shakira. No, no, never's case. I think
- 52:48Speaker 2: she's super happy. Me too, it was super happy, you know,
- 52:52Speaker 2: being at home Olympiano because she loves me just like me.
- 52:58Speaker 2: She loves all that, you know, and I I think
- 53:00Speaker 2: that that's great. Like I wanted to do that too,
- 53:02Speaker 2: So I did that for a couple of years, and
- 53:04Speaker 2: then I got bored and I was like, you know what,
- 53:05Speaker 2: I'm ready to go to work. So it's like it
- 53:07Speaker 2: should be the woman should be the one making that decision.
- 53:12Speaker 2: And by the way, a lot of women I'm still
- 53:14Speaker 2: way because I can still keep on talking.
- 53:16Speaker 1: I know you can a lot of women.
- 53:18Speaker 2: I know that you said you're a better woman and
- 53:19Speaker 2: wife now that you're not working, but a lot of
- 53:21Speaker 2: women will say the opposite and say that they are
- 53:25Speaker 2: better women and wives because they do have a job
- 53:29Speaker 2: and a profession and they're fulfilled.
- 53:32Speaker 1: With what they do.
- 53:33Speaker 2: So then they come home and they're better moms and
- 53:35Speaker 2: they're better wives. So you know, every case is different differently. Yeah,
- 53:42Speaker 2: I mean I've tried it all, and I think, you know,
- 53:44Speaker 2: I've tried to be the best. Whether you know, I'm
- 53:47Speaker 2: working and and there's still time for my kids and
- 53:50Speaker 2: for my husband, and you know, when I'm not working,
- 53:52Speaker 2: I could still like it doesn't like really affect me.
- 53:56Speaker 2: But again, I think if you want to be happy,
- 53:58Speaker 2: I think it's important for you to make that decision,
- 54:00Speaker 2: not for anyone to make it for you.
- 54:01Speaker 1: Absolutely, And I you know, by the way, just to
- 54:04Speaker 1: make it clear, I was in over in my head.
- 54:05Speaker 1: I was running a company with a lot of employees,
- 54:08Speaker 1: and everything was on my shoulders by myself, so and
- 54:12Speaker 1: I was, you know, I just distress was too much
- 54:15Speaker 1: for me to even have any love or patience or
- 54:19Speaker 1: or calmness.
- 54:20Speaker 2: Balance Like I didn't do Yeah, because I mean I
- 54:23Speaker 2: remember like how you worked, so it's like that was
- 54:25Speaker 2: like too much.
- 54:25Speaker 1: You were like too hard on yourself. I was just
- 54:29Speaker 1: I was not a good partner. Now I'm an excellent partner.
- 54:33Speaker 2: Well, Bouber has the best of you, and I'm happy
- 54:36Speaker 2: about that. Yeah, and you're an excellent friend too, my friend.
- 54:39Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I thank you. I appreciate that. Thank you.
- 54:43Speaker 1: Until you have your other friends. No, I cut everybody out.
- 54:46Speaker 1: You know, I'm a Capricorn. If you if you just
- 54:49Speaker 1: stop blaming the zodiac.
- 54:51Speaker 2: I was actually just talking about it.
- 54:54Speaker 1: I'm sorry. Your sign has nothing to do with how
- 54:56Speaker 1: you are. Two of my other closest friends, I'm sorry
- 55:00Speaker 1: their close friends are Capricorn and they're just like me.
- 55:04Speaker 1: We cut people out like this. No, man, who because
- 55:06Speaker 1: you're out and it's done, and I don't look back,
- 55:10Speaker 1: you know, yeah I do. I got a handful of time.
- 55:13Speaker 1: I'm lucky to still be here. You're not going anywhere.
- 55:20Speaker 1: You're stuck with me.
- 55:21Speaker 2: Yes, okay, next, okay, okay, lunch, lunch.
