Suspect Identified in Officer Barry Shooting | Philadelphia News
A suspect in the fatal shooting of off-duty Philly cop Alhassane Barry has been identified — but his name remains hidden as charges aren’t yet filed. The 29-year-old officer was gunned down early Sunday morning on Elmwood Ave, with a 35-year-old also wounded. Surveillance shows the suspect walking toward the scene from 73rd St & Buist Ave, then fleeing south on 73rd St. Motive? Unknown.
