  SPEAKER_00: Philippians three Christ is more important than anything.

  SPEAKER_00: And now my brothers and sisters, be filled with joy in the Lord.

  SPEAKER_00: It is no trouble for me to write the same things to you again.

  SPEAKER_00: I want to be sure that you are prepared.

  SPEAKER_00: Be careful of the dogs, those men who work does only harm.

  SPEAKER_00: They want to cut on everyone who is not circumcised.

  SPEAKER_00: But we are the ones who have the true circumcision.

  SPEAKER_00: We who worship God through His Spirit.

  SPEAKER_00: We don't trust in ourselves or in anything we can do.

  SPEAKER_00: We can only take pride in Christ Jesus.

  SPEAKER_00: Even if I am able to trust in myself, still I don't do it.

  SPEAKER_00: If anyone thinks they have a reason to trust in themselves, they should know that I have a greater reason for doing so.

  SPEAKER_00: I was circumcised on the eighth day after my birth.

  SPEAKER_00: I am from the people of Israel and the tribe of Benjamin.

  SPEAKER_00: I am a true Jew, and so were my parents.

  SPEAKER_00: The law was very important to me.
• 1:23
  SPEAKER_00: That is why I became a Pharisee.

  SPEAKER_00: I was so eager to defend my religion that I persecuted the church, and no one could find fault with the way I obeyed the law of Moses.

  SPEAKER_00: At one time all of these things were important to me, but because of Christ I decided that they are worth nothing.

  SPEAKER_00: Not only these things, but now I think all the things are worth nothing compared with the greatness of knowing Christ Jesus, my Lord.

  SPEAKER_00: Because of Christ I lost all of these things, and now I know that they are all worthless trash.

  SPEAKER_00: All I want now is Christ.

  SPEAKER_00: I want to belong to Him.
• 2:16
  SPEAKER_00: In Christ I am right with God, but my being right does not come from following the law.

  SPEAKER_00: It comes from God through faith.
• 2:28
  SPEAKER_00: God uses my faith in Christ to make me right with him.
• 2:33
  SPEAKER_00: All I want to know is Christ and the power that raised him from death.
• 2:39
  SPEAKER_00: I want to share in his sufferings and be like him even in death.
• 2:45
  SPEAKER_00: There is hope that I myself will somehow be raised from death.

  SPEAKER_00: Trying to reach the goal.
• 2:54
  SPEAKER_00: I don't mean that I am exactly what God wants me to be.

  SPEAKER_00: I've not yet reached that goal, but I continue trying to reach it and make it mine.

  SPEAKER_00: That's what Christ Jesus wants me to do.

  SPEAKER_00: It is the reason he made me his.
• 3:13
  SPEAKER_00: Brothers and sisters, I know that I still have a long way to go, but there is one thing to do.

  SPEAKER_00: I forget what is in the past and I try as hard as I can to reach the goal before me.

  SPEAKER_00: I keep running hard toward the finish line to get the prize that is mine because God has called me through Jesus Christ to life up there in heaven.

  SPEAKER_00: All of us who have grown to be spiritually mature should think this way too.
• 3:50
  SPEAKER_00: And if there is any of you and any of this that you don't agree with, God will make it clear to you.

  SPEAKER_00: We should continue following the truth we already have.

  SPEAKER_00: Brothers and sisters, join together in following my example.

  SPEAKER_00: Also, learn by watching those who are living the way we showed you.

  SPEAKER_00: There are many who live like enemies of the cross of Christ, and I have often told you about them, and it makes me cry to tell you about them now.

  SPEAKER_00: The way they live is leading them to destruction.
• 4:34
  SPEAKER_00: They have replaced God with their own desires.
• 4:38
  SPEAKER_00: They do shameful things.
• 4:40
  SPEAKER_00: They are proud of what they do, but they think only about earthly things.

  SPEAKER_00: The government that rules us is in heaven.
• 4:50
  SPEAKER_00: We are waiting for our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ to come from there.

  SPEAKER_00: He will change our humble bodies and make them like his own glorious body.

  SPEAKER_00: Christ can do this by his power with which he is able to rule everything.
