- 0:10Speaker 1: Went true insurance. I'm true, I'm a check upsurance true
- 0:15Speaker 1: than is.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Oh well, hey everyone, welcome to Conspiracy the Show. I'm
- 0:36Speaker 2: your host Adam Todd Brown joining me as co host
- 0:39Speaker 2: this week conomics battens here. How's it going?
- 0:41Speaker 3: Man that's paid protest?
- 0:43Speaker 2: Your co host Comick Padden correct, correct, And I am
- 0:46Speaker 2: Adam Lil Soros Brown, and we are here to continue
- 0:51Speaker 2: our sorosodes. This will be the third of four that
- 0:55Speaker 2: we got coming.
- 0:56Speaker 3: And I've been paid to shut the whole thing down.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Connor is gonna throw a brick through a window at
- 1:02Speaker 2: some point during this and all hell is gonna break loose.
- 1:05Speaker 3: I'm gonna defend my man, George.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Yeah, we took a break from the Soros episodes last week.
- 1:10Speaker 3: He funded in a couple aliens. Well, he had some
- 1:13Speaker 3: free time.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Is financed. UAPs are zipping all around the nation, and
- 1:18Speaker 2: we had to talk about that.
- 1:20Speaker 3: UAP sounds like it should be a weird thing that
- 1:22Speaker 3: comes out of your urethra for a man his age. Yeah,
- 1:25Speaker 3: we gotta check mister Soros' is UAP.
- 1:28Speaker 2: So this time around, we're talking about how George Soros
- 1:32Speaker 2: is judged and talked about in some places that aren't
- 1:36Speaker 2: the United States or his home country of Hungary, because
- 1:40Speaker 2: hate and George Soros has caught on globally at this point.
- 1:45Speaker 2: And what everything we're talking about today makes really clear
- 1:49Speaker 2: is that demonizing George Soros serves one very specific purpose
- 1:54Speaker 2: when it comes to authoritarian governments and right wingers. The
- 1:58Speaker 2: war on Soros is, for all intents and purposes, a
- 2:01Speaker 2: war on independent media outlets, because that's where a lot
- 2:06Speaker 2: of his money goes, is to not just NGOs, but
- 2:10Speaker 2: also media outlets that spread, you know, non right wing
- 2:15Speaker 2: talking points. And it seems like both the campaign against USAID,
- 2:20Speaker 2: which we've already done an episode about, and this campaign
- 2:23Speaker 2: against Soros are both aimed at that. They're both aimed
- 2:27Speaker 2: at gutting independent media, which apparently gets all its money
- 2:32Speaker 2: from Soros and USAID, which that's probably not true, but
- 2:35Speaker 2: USAID was pumping a lot of money into journalism around
- 2:39Speaker 2: the world.
- 2:40Speaker 3: No, Adam, people have a robust demands for stimulating articles.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Everybody I see is reading words on a screen and
- 2:47Speaker 3: not looking at a milkshake of colors that make you
- 2:51Speaker 3: feel dopamine.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Exactly. Yeah, when we did the USAID episode, and I
- 2:56Speaker 2: keep saying you know, USA, they have a little bit
- 2:58Speaker 2: of a spy problem, and that was true. But USAID
- 3:01Speaker 2: also did legitimately good things, which is why hundreds of
- 3:05Speaker 2: thousands of kids are dying around the world now because
- 3:08Speaker 2: that part of USAID got gutted also. But this was
- 3:12Speaker 2: never about the spy.
- 3:13Speaker 3: You tell me, Elon Musch, then use a surgeon's touch,
- 3:16Speaker 3: the scalpel like precision.
- 3:18Speaker 2: The thing about USAID that has everyone up in arms,
- 3:24Speaker 2: fucking Elon Musk, Donald Trump, Naibukel, it's the funding of
- 3:28Speaker 2: media outlets. I don't think they give a shit that
- 3:32Speaker 2: USAID was sending people into Cuba to fucking spy on
- 3:36Speaker 2: Castro still in the goddamn twenty tens. They don't give
- 3:40Speaker 2: a shit about that. They care about the media stuff
- 3:43Speaker 2: and outlets having the ability to spread talking points that
- 3:47Speaker 2: are anti to what right wingers want. And that's really
- 3:52Speaker 2: all this is.
- 3:53Speaker 3: He wasn't talking to outlets that independent because he would
- 3:56Speaker 3: have gotten at him exactly.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I do worry about that when it comes to
- 4:02Speaker 2: this idea of what we're going to talk about in
- 4:04Speaker 2: a second, which is naive Bukel. The President of l
- 4:08Speaker 2: Salvador pushing this idea that most independent media outlets are
- 4:14Speaker 2: engaged in money laundering. And all he's saying is you're
- 4:16Speaker 2: getting money from USAID or you're getting money from Soros,
- 4:20Speaker 2: and then you're using that to say things we don't like.
- 4:23Speaker 2: So that's money laundering, which it's obviously not money laundering,
- 4:27Speaker 2: but in this twisted definition of it, it is. And
- 4:30Speaker 2: where does that end. Because one of the things that
- 4:34Speaker 2: came up on a podcast I did about bou Kela
- 4:38Speaker 2: is they mentioned USAID was pumping all of this money
- 4:42Speaker 2: into this one media outlet, when what they were actually
- 4:46Speaker 2: doing is this outlet offered a fast breaking news service
- 4:50Speaker 2: for other media outlets that covered one specific aspect of
- 4:55Speaker 2: the government. And subscriptions to this service were very expensive.
- 4:59Speaker 2: I think I think it was Politico that ran it.
- 5:02Speaker 2: And when I say subscriptions were expensive, in some cases
- 5:04Speaker 2: they were like ten grand a month. And USAID, which
- 5:08Speaker 2: does a bunch of journalism shit, had a bunch of
- 5:11Speaker 2: people subscribed to that service. And that was one of
- 5:14Speaker 2: the things that people pointed to when they were saying, oh,
- 5:17Speaker 2: USAID they pumped ten million dollars into Politico last year.
- 5:21Speaker 2: It's like yeah, But the same way there are people
- 5:25Speaker 2: in the United States pumping money into what we do.
- 5:27Speaker 2: They're subscribing to a service. We're not making a tacit
- 5:31Speaker 2: agreement to overthrow right wing authoritarian governments everywhere in exchange
- 5:36Speaker 2: for the three dollars a month. I get after Patreon
- 5:40Speaker 2: fees for this shit. But if they're going to paint
- 5:43Speaker 2: it that way, anyone who's getting subscription money from anywhere,
- 5:47Speaker 2: there's probably someone on your subscription role that is at
- 5:50Speaker 2: least somewhat government affiliated, and that could be enough for
- 5:55Speaker 2: them to just be like, yeah, you don't even like
- 5:57Speaker 2: podcast network, fucking money, Launders, but send them to Seacott. God,
- 6:01Speaker 2: I don't want to go to Seacott Man, I'll go
- 6:03Speaker 2: anywhere else. Alligator Alcatraz, Yeah, I guess not, but at
- 6:09Speaker 2: least you'd maybe see the sun a little bit.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Yeah, although it's we're getting to the winter months. I
- 6:14Speaker 3: do think if you're going to go out, you want
- 6:16Speaker 3: to go out, we'll have a name brand state prison.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Adam I think is we're shooting to get you into
- 6:22Speaker 3: a Guantanamo, an Aligator Alcatraz, something with some name might
- 6:26Speaker 3: because no one remembers the people that died at the
- 6:29Speaker 3: lesser concentration camps.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Yeah, when it comes to prisons, I would take Folesome
- 6:34Speaker 2: or some shit. I would take San Quentin over Alligator Alcatraz.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Definitely a place with walls, sure, yeah, a place with
- 6:43Speaker 2: walls and people I can communicate with and maybe plot
- 6:47Speaker 2: with and plan some shit. But I mean, by the
- 6:49Speaker 2: time we get to Seacott, we're all going to be there.
- 6:52Speaker 2: It's going to be just another thing white people took over.
- 6:55Speaker 3: You know, good podcast, You're walking.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Gentrify the out of that place. So no one speaking
- 7:02Speaker 2: of El Salvador has made it more abundantly clear that
- 7:07Speaker 2: what all of this is is just to push against
- 7:10Speaker 2: the media naive Bukela who labels himself the world's coolest dictator.
- 7:15Speaker 2: And here's the thing, he's not not cool. I would
- 7:17Speaker 2: put him in terms of not being an embarrassment just
- 7:22Speaker 2: as a personality to your country. I'd put him up
- 7:25Speaker 2: there with Putin because really he's young as shit. He's
- 7:28Speaker 2: younger than me. I think he's forty four something like that.
- 7:31Speaker 2: He's not an ugly dude.
- 7:33Speaker 3: You can take ahead shut. He's not the most handsome
- 7:35Speaker 3: guy I've ever seen in my life, but he's not ugly.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Yeah, he's put together. He seems like he's, you know,
- 7:41Speaker 2: very intelligent. He's very well liked in his country because
- 7:46Speaker 2: of the crime thing. It's just that the crime thing
- 7:49Speaker 2: might be a little more smoke and mirrors than he's
- 7:53Speaker 2: making it out to be, because that's his big selling
- 7:55Speaker 2: point is El Salvador was the murder capital of the
- 7:59Speaker 2: world when he in politics, and that's absolutely true, and now,
- 8:03Speaker 2: at least according to the statistics, El Salvador is the
- 8:07Speaker 2: safest country in Latin America when it comes to murder rates, and.
- 8:11Speaker 3: That, according to the statistics, is doing a lot of
- 8:14Speaker 3: leg work. It is for a guy who likes calling
- 8:17Speaker 3: himself the world's coolest anything. If you have the powers
- 8:20Speaker 3: of a dictator, you're going to put up a bunch
- 8:21Speaker 3: of graphs that, Joe, how cool you are.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I do wonder how much of it is just
- 8:26Speaker 2: fudging the numbers. At first, it seemed like the drop
- 8:29Speaker 2: was so precipitous that you couldn't fudge the numbers enough
- 8:33Speaker 2: to make it seem like it was all fake. But
- 8:36Speaker 2: what has come out recently, and we'll talk about this
- 8:40Speaker 2: more in a second, is this deal. It's always been
- 8:43Speaker 2: alleged he made a deal with gangs to just hide
- 8:46Speaker 2: what they're doing, keep it away from the public. And
- 8:49Speaker 2: if you just do that, you can do whatever the
- 8:51Speaker 2: fuck you want, because then if the public's not seeing it,
- 8:54Speaker 2: they're not clocking it as crime at all. It's that
- 8:56Speaker 2: classic thing. It's not fucking impacting me. What do I care?
- 8:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't want to see smoke weed, I want
- 9:02Speaker 3: to hear about it. You just go get away with
- 9:03Speaker 3: it behind my back and we will just act like
- 9:06Speaker 3: nothing's happening. I was always jealous with this kid growing up.
- 9:09Speaker 2: At least from a public perception standpoint. At worked he
- 9:13Speaker 2: has overwhelming support in that country. But even that, we're
- 9:18Speaker 2: going to talk about this aspect of it more on
- 9:20Speaker 2: the What in the World podcast. We're going to do
- 9:21Speaker 2: a whole episode about this deal with the gangs and
- 9:25Speaker 2: Blue Kela.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Pretty cool deal, Just be better at crime. God damn it. Okay,
- 9:30Speaker 3: nig a look legit.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Even with all of that, In this interview with these
- 9:34Speaker 2: two gang leaders who were allowed to leave El Salvador
- 9:38Speaker 2: because of this deal with the gangs, one of the
- 9:40Speaker 2: things that they mentioned is, yeah, he gets like ninety
- 9:44Speaker 2: percent of the vote, but that's because we will go
- 9:47Speaker 2: to our friends and family and be like, if you
- 9:49Speaker 2: don't vote for this guy, we'll fucking kill you. And
- 9:52Speaker 2: that's not getting reported a bunch in the media also,
- 9:55Speaker 2: so it could be absolutely as violent as it's always
- 9:58Speaker 2: been and they've just control the narrative enough to make
- 10:01Speaker 2: it seem like it's not.
- 10:03Speaker 3: They have identified the game that that is the most
- 10:05Speaker 3: important part.
- 10:06Speaker 2: And I'm gonna be honest, that is almost more impressive
- 10:10Speaker 2: than just ending crime. If it's still going on to
- 10:13Speaker 2: the same levels but people are just oblivious to it,
- 10:16Speaker 2: that's also a little bit of an accomplishment.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Yeah, pretty impressive. Yeah, then no one in your entire
- 10:22Speaker 3: country can fucking whip out their weird Chinese smartphone and
- 10:26Speaker 3: get the forty eight seconds of incriminating video.
- 10:29Speaker 2: And that guy's going to be president of El Salvador. Four. Ever,
- 10:34Speaker 2: when he took office, they had a strict one term
- 10:37Speaker 2: limit on presidents, and he fired all of the Supreme
- 10:42Speaker 2: Court judges who said he couldn't run for a second
- 10:44Speaker 2: term and ran for a second term in one and
- 10:47Speaker 2: now they have passed a law that he can run
- 10:50Speaker 2: for president forever. So El Salvador has their president for
- 10:54Speaker 2: the next fifty years, probably that guy's so young. Evil
- 10:57Speaker 2: people die so old.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Yeah, it is nice of him that he'd let them
- 11:02Speaker 3: pretend to have elections. That's cool.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Yeah, which I hope we get that here.
- 11:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I'd like to at least have this delusional hope
- 11:10Speaker 3: that it could be too big to rig this time. Guys,
- 11:12Speaker 3: give us some circuses if you won't give us bread,
- 11:15Speaker 3: you fuckersquant.
- 11:16Speaker 2: So Bukele went in on George Soros at Sea Pack
- 11:20Speaker 2: in twenty twenty four because of course he was invited
- 11:24Speaker 2: to Seapack in twenty twenty four, because this is who
- 11:28Speaker 2: Trump thinks he's going to become. It's never gonna fucking happen,
- 11:31Speaker 2: but this is who Trump thinks he is going to be.
- 11:34Speaker 2: And I say he got invited to Seapack like it's
- 11:37Speaker 2: a really, really sketchy thing, and it is. But also
- 11:41Speaker 2: back during the Obama days, he got invited to Washington,
- 11:45Speaker 2: d C. Nai Bukele and some city in Maryland on
- 11:50Speaker 2: his visit declared it naive Bukel a day in that city. Connor,
- 11:55Speaker 2: guess what the date was?
- 11:56Speaker 3: Uh?
- 11:57Speaker 2: I have nine to eleven, baby, you bukel a day?
- 12:01Speaker 3: Damn it.
- 12:03Speaker 2: I love that fucking detail of all the days. You
- 12:06Speaker 2: couldn't ask him to wait one day, We'll declare it tomorrow.
- 12:10Speaker 3: If your name is Naive bu Kele, I think you
- 12:12Speaker 3: would rather have no day than to be associated with
- 12:15Speaker 3: nine nine to eleven.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Day, probably especially as a Palestinian, which that part never
- 12:20Speaker 2: gets talked about when it comes to Naib bu Kel,
- 12:23Speaker 2: staunchly pro Israel Palestinian.
- 12:26Speaker 3: WHOA, that's not not on anybody's been go card.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't hear that shit a whole lot, which
- 12:31Speaker 2: again probably goes a long way toward why right wingers
- 12:35Speaker 2: fucking love this guy so.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Much, Because there's nothing you're not willing to hold out
- 12:39Speaker 3: at that point.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Yeah, and so, at his speech at Sea Pack in
- 12:45Speaker 2: twenty twenty four, Naibukel in part said this, who elected
- 12:49Speaker 2: Soorros to dictate public policy and laws? Why does he
- 12:53Speaker 2: feel entitled to impose his agenda? Thank God and all
- 12:56Speaker 2: glory be to him. El Salvadorians are now immune to
- 13:00Speaker 2: Soros' influence end quote.
- 13:03Speaker 3: Well, you know, at least you give the glory to God.
- 13:05Speaker 3: You got to give it up for that.
- 13:06Speaker 2: It still blows my mind when people actually buy leaders
- 13:10Speaker 2: like this as religious. Yeah, the Trump thing is the
- 13:15Speaker 2: most glaring obvious one where people are like, that's who
- 13:19Speaker 2: God picked to be president. There's no fucking way God
- 13:22Speaker 2: would pick that guy to be president. In maniac, you're
- 13:26Speaker 2: out of your fucking mind.
- 13:27Speaker 3: You'd have to be a Greek god.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think you were on the Trump prophecy episode.
- 13:33Speaker 2: We did. It's a movie, but it's about a real
- 13:35Speaker 2: thing that happened. And this is why motherfuckers think Trump
- 13:38Speaker 2: is God's chosen president. This guy was watching TV. Trump
- 13:43Speaker 2: was on TV, and he heard a voice in his head,
- 13:46Speaker 2: the voice of God tell him that Trump was going
- 13:48Speaker 2: to be president next And this guy went to a psychiatrist,
- 13:52Speaker 2: which is what you should do in a situation like that.
- 13:54Speaker 3: When you do hear the voice of God, consult the
- 13:56Speaker 3: medical profession.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Especially when God's telling you Trump is going to be
- 14:00Speaker 2: our next president.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Because then the voice in your head might be right
- 14:03Speaker 3: twice and then you're really in trouble. It has a
- 14:06Speaker 3: good info.
- 14:07Speaker 2: And this guy went to a psychiatrist, and instead of
- 14:10Speaker 2: his psychiatrist doing his job, the psychiatrist was like, oh,
- 14:13Speaker 2: you should meet my wife. Turns out his wife is
- 14:17Speaker 2: a conservative Christian organizer and she met with this guy,
- 14:22Speaker 2: and decided he was right that God did want Trump
- 14:26Speaker 2: to be our next president, and organize this daily prayer
- 14:30Speaker 2: phone call that by the end of the twenty sixteen
- 14:33Speaker 2: election there were like one hundred and fifty thousand people
- 14:37Speaker 2: a day getting on this phone call all to pray
- 14:40Speaker 2: for Trump Man.
- 14:41Speaker 3: What a whack thing to pray for yep.
- 14:43Speaker 2: And then he fucking wins and they're like, see we
- 14:46Speaker 2: did it. And then he gets shot in the head
- 14:49Speaker 2: and they're like, see God's chosen president, and now we're
- 14:53Speaker 2: all fucked.
- 14:54Speaker 3: We looks like Mukelly knows about his crime stats. It's
- 14:56Speaker 3: just all about the Dan branding. Do you have to
- 14:58Speaker 3: fucking make the shit look? Could?
- 15:01Speaker 2: I feel like the Trump administration is kind of putting
- 15:04Speaker 2: the cart ahead of the horse here a little bit
- 15:07Speaker 2: because they're trying to follow what Bukela did in El Salvador.
- 15:12Speaker 2: But the problem they're tackling is not anything approaching what
- 15:16Speaker 2: was happening in El Salvador when Bukel became president. We
- 15:20Speaker 2: don't have a similar murder rate. No matter what Newsmax
- 15:24Speaker 2: wants you to think, Immigrants are not parading the streets,
- 15:27Speaker 2: committing crimes.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Eating dogs and cats.
- 15:31Speaker 2: None of that shit is happening.
- 15:32Speaker 3: This is eating dogs and cats. Guy, everybody. He won.
- 15:36Speaker 2: And I honestly think whoever came up with this Nazi
- 15:40Speaker 2: ass plan for the Trump administration assumed social media was
- 15:44Speaker 2: going to make it easier without taking into account that
- 15:47Speaker 2: social media was going to make it harder too, because
- 15:50Speaker 2: the Nazis didn't have social media to spread their message.
- 15:54Speaker 2: But they also didn't have social media pushing back on
- 15:56Speaker 2: their message, so it is way easier for the Nazis
- 15:59Speaker 2: to pull off all the propaganda shit they did. El
- 16:02Speaker 2: Salvador population smaller than New York City, so lot less
- 16:06Speaker 2: people to convince that you're right here. They have so
- 16:10Speaker 2: much more of an uphill battle, and I think it's
- 16:13Speaker 2: going to backfire here. It might backfire in a way
- 16:15Speaker 2: that we end up under martial law for the next ten.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Years, but only ten years. It's nice to hear an
- 16:20Speaker 3: optimistic prediction, but this shit.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Isn't gonna go the way they think it's gonna go.
- 16:25Speaker 2: They're not gonna sell America on being a Nazi country.
- 16:30Speaker 2: It's just not gonna fucking happen.
- 16:32Speaker 3: I don't know, dude, I'm out of the prognosticating business.
- 16:36Speaker 3: That's your prediction. I think a lot of people will
- 16:39Speaker 3: be like, someone tells me exactly what to do and
- 16:41Speaker 3: they get a cool uniform.
- 16:42Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true.
- 16:44Speaker 3: That's all I ever wanted.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Did you see Roger Stone's maniac Asses starting a clothing line?
- 16:50Speaker 3: Oh? Got him? He just is like a strange Southern dandy.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Yeah, and he posted a thing on social media and
- 16:55Speaker 2: was like, what should I name it? Fucking Hugo Boss.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Probably a Nazi ass clothing line. So back to bou.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Kela, not to be confused with his brother Bukake.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Last night, the Las Vegas Raiders played the Denver Broncos
- 17:11Speaker 2: on Thursday night football, and the Raiders have a player
- 17:16Speaker 2: who just kept making plays all night. And I was
- 17:19Speaker 2: working and kind of paying attention to the game in
- 17:22Speaker 2: the background, so all I kept here and was naive
- 17:25Speaker 2: bu Kela with the interception. Turns out his name is
- 17:28Speaker 2: Kayu Blue Kelly, but I just kept out. I was like,
- 17:33Speaker 2: what the fuck is happening? I'mna name their kid after
- 17:36Speaker 2: that guy.
- 17:37Speaker 3: But no, Yeah, that's a real from the other room
- 17:39Speaker 3: sending them those two names done exactly the same, one
- 17:42Speaker 3: shouted over across the house.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Yeah, So George Soros the Open Society Foundation. It's been
- 17:48Speaker 2: operating in l Salvador since two thousand and six, and
- 17:52Speaker 2: this incident at Seapac was not the first time bou
- 17:54Speaker 2: Kel called them out. He did the same shortly after
- 17:58Speaker 2: taking office in twenty ninth, team which prompted Open Society
- 18:03Speaker 2: Foundations to spawn and say they were shocked by what
- 18:06Speaker 2: he was saying about their influence in the region. But
- 18:08Speaker 2: I mean, what the fuck are they going to say?
- 18:09Speaker 2: Got us? But also as far back as twenty twenty,
- 18:13Speaker 2: Bukel has been accusing an independent media outlet that used
- 18:17Speaker 2: to be based in El Salvador called El Faro, of
- 18:21Speaker 2: money laundering. They have since fled to Costa Rica in
- 18:25Speaker 2: response to bu Kel cracking down on them.
- 18:29Speaker 3: That's always a good sign. Yeah, yeah, yeah, well Costa
- 18:32Speaker 3: Rica is nice.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Yeah. I was just gonna say, on the other hand, though,
- 18:35Speaker 2: you could do a lot worse. I've been to Costa Rica.
- 18:37Speaker 2: It's great.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Well for a colonizer like you, done a high dollar
- 18:41Speaker 3: trip perhaps, but maybe if you're just working at a
- 18:45Speaker 3: data management company or whatever this is.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Now, I mean, if shit really jumps off in this country,
- 18:50Speaker 2: that's probably where I'm gonna flee. Is Costa Rica. Fucking
- 18:54Speaker 2: love that place. It was great.
- 18:56Speaker 3: Okay, Okay, you can make friends with this guy merch Foundation.
- 19:01Speaker 2: So he has since expanded that talking point to suggest
- 19:05Speaker 2: that most independent media outlets are engaging in money laundering.
- 19:10Speaker 2: It again, is the same thing that's at the heart
- 19:12Speaker 2: of the push against USAID. USAID and Soros both pump
- 19:16Speaker 2: a lot of money into media outlets, and I've heard
- 19:20Speaker 2: people push back and be like, well, are they really
- 19:23Speaker 2: independent if they're getting all that money from Soros. Yeah, yeah,
- 19:27Speaker 2: they're not corporate media. They're not fucking state media. Everyone
- 19:31Speaker 2: needs money to do what they do. Just because they're
- 19:35Speaker 2: getting money from somewhere does not mean El Farro is
- 19:38Speaker 2: some sort of corporate entity. You can just look at
- 19:40Speaker 2: the shit they report and know that, yes, they are
- 19:44Speaker 2: not beholden to the government that is being reported on.
- 19:47Speaker 2: And his whole line of thinking, Naibukel is that outlets
- 19:52Speaker 2: like USAID and people like Soros fund these outlets, and again,
- 19:56Speaker 2: because they report on stuff Naibukel doesn't like. It's money laundering.
- 20:00Speaker 2: That's really all there is. There's no actual evidence or
- 20:04Speaker 2: proof of money laundering by any of these outlets.
- 20:07Speaker 3: This is just a vague enough crime that we can
- 20:10Speaker 3: kind of include it with anything.
- 20:11Speaker 2: And it's a crime. I think people here and go, yep,
- 20:16Speaker 2: that's a crime. And then if you go explain it,
- 20:18Speaker 2: they're going to go, I can't. I don't know what
- 20:20Speaker 2: that means. And that's why it's a good crime to
- 20:23Speaker 2: pin on people.
- 20:23Speaker 3: Something something Jason Bateman, Yeah, being but a boom, it's clean.
- 20:32Speaker 2: This is a quote from Naibukel. In all Latin American
- 20:37Speaker 2: countries there are media and journalists quotes around that paid
- 20:41Speaker 2: by Soros. In reality, they are not journalists. They are
- 20:44Speaker 2: political activists with a defined and perverse global agenda. End quote.
- 20:50Speaker 3: Wow, defined and perverse sounds like my diary.
- 20:55Speaker 2: And all he's really saying is they disagree with what
- 20:59Speaker 2: we want to do. That's all he's getting at George Soros.
- 21:02Speaker 2: There's even some question as to whether what he does
- 21:05Speaker 2: is really all that effective, because he's just almost kind
- 21:09Speaker 2: of funding the reporting on the rise of authoritarianism while
- 21:14Speaker 2: making no dent in its progress at all. He might
- 21:17Speaker 2: be better off just funding political campaigns.
- 21:20Speaker 3: So not only does he not control the world, he's
- 21:23Speaker 3: not even very good at trying to.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Yeah, kind of and I don't understand why that's not
- 21:28Speaker 2: more of a point people make. What do you mean
- 21:30Speaker 2: he's stopping authoritarianism? No, he's not.
- 21:34Speaker 3: If this guy had any swag at all, he would
- 21:36Speaker 3: have just been like, fuck it, we're going for third
- 21:38Speaker 3: term Obama that people like this good enough, Let's fucking
- 21:41Speaker 3: give him good enough, good enough.
- 21:43Speaker 2: I still feel like that might be where this is
- 21:45Speaker 2: all headed, where it's just gonna get so bad that
- 21:48Speaker 2: eventually they're like, all right, how about a third Obama term,
- 21:51Speaker 2: and we'll be like, yay, revolution, And it's like, oh wait, no,
- 21:54Speaker 2: we're right back to where we were when.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Yeah, remember the revolution the first time when we went
- 21:58Speaker 3: with Romney's healthcare plan after a great debate.
- 22:03Speaker 2: God, one of my favorite tweets I've ever seen it
- 22:06Speaker 2: was during the twenty sixteen election, and it just said,
- 22:08Speaker 2: Mitt Romney, the streets need you. I doubt that was true, though,
- 22:13Speaker 2: So again. One of the really big sticking points for
- 22:16Speaker 2: Bukela is outlets reporting on allegations that all of his
- 22:20Speaker 2: crime reforms are the result of this secret backroom agreement
- 22:24Speaker 2: with gangs in El Salvador. In May twenty twenty five,
- 22:28Speaker 2: El Farro, which again has fled to Costa Rica further
- 22:32Speaker 2: reported on the agreement, and this time they interviewed two
- 22:36Speaker 2: high ranking members of Barrio eighteen, which is the other
- 22:41Speaker 2: big gang in l. Salvador, which is a Mexican gang,
- 22:45Speaker 2: which that's interesting, but it's mostly MS thirteen Barrio eighteen,
- 22:52Speaker 2: any other number can get fucked. And these two high
- 22:55Speaker 2: ranking members of Barrio eighteen. Am I saying that right?
- 22:58Speaker 2: I don't want to get shot, know.
- 23:00Speaker 3: And you know it's you. Well you're not saying it
- 23:03Speaker 3: in accent. That's how that's how you say when you're
- 23:06Speaker 3: just being a white person about it.
- 23:08Speaker 2: No, I just want to make sure I'm not getting
- 23:10Speaker 2: the name wrong and correct. Eighteen is the name of
- 23:13Speaker 2: the gang.
- 23:14Speaker 3: I don't think there's anyone out there going I want
- 23:16Speaker 3: to hear Adam Todd Browns a.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Bar You never know. So what they reported in this
- 23:23Speaker 2: interview is that again these leaders just straight up said
- 23:28Speaker 2: one Na, you bukel A just told us to hide
- 23:30Speaker 2: the bodies. Don't let people see where you're dumping bodies.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Don't don't bodies on the mayor's doorstep or whatever crazy
- 23:37Speaker 2: shit drug cartels tend to do.
- 23:39Speaker 3: You got to figure when that deal point came down
- 23:42Speaker 3: everybody with ah I love dubbing them cinematically in the fountain,
- 23:47Speaker 3: Do you.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Know how far the landfill is outside town? Damn it?
- 23:51Speaker 2: Are you gonna pay my gas money? But they also
- 23:54Speaker 2: made an interesting point in that if what they were
- 23:57Speaker 2: saying wasn't true, they wouldn't be in Costa Rica talking
- 24:01Speaker 2: to this guy because Naive Bukel has allegedly, according to him,
- 24:05Speaker 2: kind of shut down the borders when it comes to
- 24:08Speaker 2: letting criminals and people identified as gang members leave the country.
- 24:13Speaker 2: They're supposed to all be locked up in Seacak where
- 24:15Speaker 2: they'll never be seen again. And in this interview, these
- 24:19Speaker 2: two gang leaders are like, he's the reason we got out.
- 24:22Speaker 2: It was someone from Bukel's government that smuggled us out
- 24:26Speaker 2: of the country. This guy is directly working with all
- 24:29Speaker 2: of these gangs. And in response to this interview one
- 24:34Speaker 2: Naive Bukel issued seven arrest warrants for journalists at El
- 24:40Speaker 2: Faro and issued this statement, It's clear that a country
- 24:43Speaker 2: at peace, without deaths, without extortion, without bloodshed, without corpses
- 24:49Speaker 2: every day, without mothers mourning their children, is not profitable
- 24:53Speaker 2: for human rights and goos, nor for the globalist media.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Nor for the elites, nor for sol Interesting how he
- 25:02Speaker 2: separates Soros from the elites, as if Soros is something
- 25:07Speaker 2: above that. That feels intentional. It feels like he's saying, no,
- 25:11Speaker 2: there's elites and then the elite.
- 25:14Speaker 3: He is on that level, kind of like you know, yeah,
- 25:18Speaker 3: he's literally the guy so big he became the scapegoat
- 25:21Speaker 3: for the whole thing.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Because he can't be the only person out here donating
- 25:24Speaker 2: to liberal causes. People do that kind of shit with
- 25:27Speaker 2: their money all the time. Is Warren Buffet not propping
- 25:30Speaker 2: up any left leaning regimes anywhere? Maybe not?
- 25:34Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe not Warren Buffett. And it's like they get whatever,
- 25:37Speaker 3: They almost win every stupid fucking election. So I mean
- 25:41Speaker 3: they must be making it don somehow somewhere with somebody's money. Yeah,
- 25:46Speaker 3: not particularly effectively or to any particularly significant end, as
- 25:51Speaker 3: the Democrats we're talking here, but you know, I'm saying
- 25:54Speaker 3: it's well funded. It's visible. They put the coma, the
- 25:58Speaker 3: logo on the sphere in Vegas, you know, like shit
- 26:01Speaker 3: like that.
- 26:01Speaker 2: So that's why El Salvador hates George Soros, and it's
- 26:05Speaker 2: why most of the world hates George Soros.
- 26:08Speaker 3: It does sound like he funds a lot of annoying
- 26:10Speaker 3: newspapers that here's why, because you're not recycling actually global
- 26:15Speaker 3: warmings happening faster, all the ones with those real research
- 26:19Speaker 3: that's always depressing.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Yeah, and I get it. If I was a right
- 26:22Speaker 2: wing authoritarian leader, I would probably want to take out
- 26:26Speaker 2: George Soros. Also, it's almost, I mean, not comforting. But
- 26:31Speaker 2: I know at least when these dominoes start to fall
- 26:34Speaker 2: and journalists and media people start getting rounded up, we're
- 26:38Speaker 2: going to be so far down the list. I feel
- 26:40Speaker 2: like we will have time to flee somewhere seeing Costa
- 26:43Speaker 2: Rica man. Yeah, because it's not like they're going to
- 26:45Speaker 2: come for us before fucking Jake Tapper at CNN or
- 26:48Speaker 2: some shit like we'll see Don Lemon rounded up way
- 26:52Speaker 2: before Hassan Piker. No, maybe not Hassan Piker. They might
- 26:55Speaker 2: get that guy first.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a high profile. Yeah, we me and Adam
- 27:00Speaker 3: we could probably do commentary on all of this shit
- 27:03Speaker 3: because no one's fucking coming to get us. Yeah.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Yeah, feels good. Feels good.
- 27:07Speaker 3: We could probably scare up enough we could start a
- 27:10Speaker 3: feud with a larger conspiracy podcast. Oh yeah, hey, Danny Jones,
- 27:15Speaker 3: go suck an egg.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Yeah, are there any right wing conspiracy podcast we should
- 27:19Speaker 2: just beef with to boost our profile sell some records
- 27:22Speaker 2: like Aggie and Tupac.
- 27:23Speaker 3: I'm sure there are, but do I want them to
- 27:25Speaker 3: be a part of my daily life.
- 27:27Speaker 2: So let's talk about another country that has recently started
- 27:30Speaker 2: hating George Soros. We will link to a very long
- 27:35Speaker 2: and detailed and well executed report about the use of
- 27:38Speaker 2: George Soros as a political boogeyman in India, which, if
- 27:43Speaker 2: people aren't aware, India is an authoritarian nightmare of a
- 27:48Speaker 2: country right now. People are getting lynched over accusations of
- 27:53Speaker 2: eating beef in India, to the point that we did
- 27:56Speaker 2: a whole fucking episode of What in the World about.
- 27:58Speaker 3: That, which is ironically the biggest beef you could possibly
- 28:01Speaker 3: have exactly lynching somebody. That's that's the crazy level of beef.
- 28:06Speaker 2: And India is I think the scariest example of how
- 28:10Speaker 2: far this kind of fascist, right wing shit can go.
- 28:14Speaker 2: Because I'm fresh off of on this very podcast being like, yeah,
- 28:18Speaker 2: I think America is too big. I don't know that
- 28:20Speaker 2: Trump is going to be able to pull all this
- 28:22Speaker 2: shit off. Meanwhile, India is the world's largest democracy country
- 28:28Speaker 2: is fucking gigantic.
- 28:30Speaker 3: If anything we're going well at all, he might be
- 28:32Speaker 3: able to pullet off. If just inflation chilled out, people
- 28:36Speaker 3: might be like, Oh, I don't know, it's yeah, seems
- 28:39Speaker 3: very doable. I mean, we've seen a football game you
- 28:43Speaker 3: change the dialogue and it's a fascist rally, like oh yeah.
- 28:46Speaker 2: And with India you would think, well, God, that place
- 28:50Speaker 2: is so big. They can't oppress everyone. They can, and
- 28:53Speaker 2: they do. If you say the wrong shit about the
- 28:56Speaker 2: government in India, they have employed such new and innovative
- 29:01Speaker 2: techniques for shutting that shit down. We talked on an
- 29:05Speaker 2: episode a long time ago of you Don't Even Like
- 29:08Speaker 2: This Show podcast? I think Keith Carey was on it,
- 29:11Speaker 2: but we talked about something happening in India called bulldozer justice.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Are you familiar with this?
- 29:17Speaker 3: No, It's a really cool finishing move and wrestling.
- 29:20Speaker 2: One example of it happened very recently to a comedy
- 29:23Speaker 2: club a comedian, which this is a big thing in India.
- 29:26Speaker 2: If you get on stage and criticize the government, they're
- 29:29Speaker 2: going to fuck you up. Someone will come and fuck
- 29:33Speaker 2: you up. And that is exactly what happened. Someone was
- 29:35Speaker 2: filmed at a comedy club just saying some moderately anti
- 29:39Speaker 2: government shit, and the government enacted what they call bulldozer justice,
- 29:43Speaker 2: where before you go to court, before you're arrested, before
- 29:46Speaker 2: they sit down and talk about it, they send a
- 29:48Speaker 2: group of people to bulldozeer house. They just knock your
- 29:52Speaker 2: shit to the ground and then they start talking about
- 29:55Speaker 2: what you did wrong. And it happened to this comedy
- 29:59Speaker 2: club where this guy, this video started going around of
- 30:03Speaker 2: him sayings anti government shit, and these people showed up
- 30:06Speaker 2: to a whole different show. Guy wasn't there, wasn't on
- 30:09Speaker 2: it and just destroyed the club with fucking hammers. Wow,
- 30:14Speaker 2: that's India right now. They're doing bulldozer justice and resort politics.
- 30:21Speaker 3: If you crushed last night, you really crushed exactly the
- 30:24Speaker 3: whole fucking building.
- 30:26Speaker 2: And I won't deny that resort politics would be my
- 30:29Speaker 2: chosen form of being overthrown if I was a government leader.
- 30:33Speaker 3: Sounds more relaxing than bulldoze or justice. Resort politics, I'll
- 30:38Speaker 3: say I'll take those.
- 30:39Speaker 2: What they do is if there's a state government that
- 30:43Speaker 2: is in opposition to the Nuendromodi regime, they will one
- 30:48Speaker 2: try to get enough politicians from that government to just
- 30:53Speaker 2: switch sides so the government collapses. But barring that, they
- 30:58Speaker 2: will kidnap enough members of that local government, drive them
- 31:03Speaker 2: to a luxury resort and just make them stay there
- 31:07Speaker 2: until that local government collapses because there aren't enough people
- 31:10Speaker 2: there to run it, and then they just replace it
- 31:13Speaker 2: with a state government that is beholden to the Mody regime.
- 31:17Speaker 2: The worst thing that happens is you get to spend
- 31:19Speaker 2: a few days in a resort and your government collapses.
- 31:22Speaker 2: But at least you're not getting beat in fucking Seacott
- 31:25Speaker 2: or something.
- 31:26Speaker 3: Yeah. That's definitely my favorite way to be cooed as well.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Yeah, if the Trump administration showed up at my door
- 31:32Speaker 2: tomorrow and was like, you're a problem. You gotta go
- 31:35Speaker 2: live at a resort in Costa Rica the rest of
- 31:37Speaker 2: your life, I'd be like fuck, yeah.
- 31:40Speaker 3: I'd have to go to Disneyland. Let's do it your
- 31:43Speaker 3: mandatory re education.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Yeah, you're gonna drive me? Or do I gotta get
- 31:46Speaker 2: on a plane. What's going on? And you drive to
- 31:48Speaker 2: Costa Rica? Sure? Probably drive to Costa Rica?
- 31:51Speaker 3: Yeah, Well, just go down the tube.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Welcome to Geography, the show everybody.
- 31:57Speaker 3: Where we called Central America the Tube.
- 32:00Speaker 2: So India's obsession with Soros is a little more recent
- 32:04Speaker 2: than a lot of other countries, and it stems from
- 32:07Speaker 2: his remarks at a speaking engagement a couple of years
- 32:10Speaker 2: ago where he talked about the rise of authoritarianism and
- 32:13Speaker 2: called out Indian Prime Minister in Narendramodi specifically. After those comments,
- 32:18Speaker 2: a professor at the University of Michigan named Joyo J.
- 32:22Speaker 3: Paul, which that's got to be a friendly guy. Has
- 32:24Speaker 3: got the name joy and pale in his name. Extremely
- 32:28Speaker 3: nice guy.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Joy Pal. They started tracking mentions of Soros on social
- 32:33Speaker 2: media in India in the first four months of twenty
- 32:36Speaker 2: twenty three. Prior to that point, he was mostly unknown
- 32:39Speaker 2: in India, but in that time alone, there were eight thousand,
- 32:43Speaker 2: four hundred and ninety tweets that referenced Soros, mostly negative.
- 32:47Speaker 2: And it was more low level influencers like me and
- 32:51Speaker 2: Connor who were responsible for the spread of those tweets.
- 32:55Speaker 3: Because I'm a conversation changer in India, I'm on the
- 32:57Speaker 3: ground level of what people are talking about over there.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Yeah, that's how Soros really mixes things up. He sends
- 33:04Speaker 2: the whites into a country like India and no one
- 33:07Speaker 2: sees us coming. So yeah, we've spread a lot of
- 33:10Speaker 2: shit in India. This will get reported on in India
- 33:12Speaker 2: and will be like not allowed to go there. No,
- 33:14Speaker 2: no that I will.
- 33:15Speaker 3: Oh no, no, I'm kidding. I would. I'd love to
- 33:18Speaker 3: see some shit in India.
- 33:20Speaker 2: I would go to India if I was going with
- 33:22Speaker 2: someone who lived there or was familiar with it.
- 33:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I definitely would have to have a guide.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Yeah, because here's the thing. Indian food. It's my favorite food,
- 33:31Speaker 2: fucking love it so much, and I would love to
- 33:34Speaker 2: go to India and eat some. But I've probably talked
- 33:37Speaker 2: too much shit about Narendra Modi on podcasts to do that,
- 33:41Speaker 2: which I don't know if that's actually true. But I've
- 33:44Speaker 2: been written up in some foreign outlets. I got to
- 33:47Speaker 2: mention in the Philippines press for comparing Rodrigo de Terte
- 33:51Speaker 2: to Donald Trump once. Oh, let's hope one of them
- 33:54Speaker 2: just got charged for war crimes.
- 33:57Speaker 3: And you're criticizing fascism agan or you're you know, like
- 34:00Speaker 3: a fucking strong white right wing government at the least,
- 34:03Speaker 3: so that might show up on an Indian Google.
- 34:07Speaker 2: So here is a quote from this report where it's
- 34:12Speaker 2: mentioned that even in India, this all boils down to
- 34:16Speaker 2: the same thing.
- 34:17Speaker 3: Here's a quote.
- 34:17Speaker 2: This also brings out what is a key target of
- 34:20Speaker 2: the campaign against Soros, that of highlighting the funding sources
- 34:24Speaker 2: of independent media in India, several of which have in
- 34:28Speaker 2: some part receive funding from organizations that Soros has been
- 34:32Speaker 2: involved in bankrolling. End quote. So again, in India, this
- 34:37Speaker 2: is just well, George Soros funds the outlets say things
- 34:41Speaker 2: we don't like, so we are going to demonize him
- 34:44Speaker 2: as the puppet master controlling all world events. To India's credit,
- 34:48Speaker 2: they are slightly less anti semitic about it there more,
- 34:52Speaker 2: why is this foreigner telling India how to do their shit?
- 34:55Speaker 3: And with anti immigrant sentiment like that, why can't we
- 34:58Speaker 3: get along with the United States?
- 35:01Speaker 2: Exactly? Well, that's we did an episode about it a
- 35:04Speaker 2: long long time ago, and I should probably revisit it.
- 35:07Speaker 2: But there's this advisor to Putin called Alexander Dugan. They
- 35:11Speaker 2: call him Putin's Resputant.
- 35:13Speaker 3: Ooh, that's a cool title.
- 35:15Speaker 2: It is rhymes and everything.
- 35:16Speaker 3: That's great.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Putin's Resputin and he wrote this book called the Fourth
- 35:20Speaker 2: Political Theory, and his theory is all right, Well, fascism
- 35:25Speaker 2: didn't work. We can't do just strict fascism. But also,
- 35:29Speaker 2: I forget what the three he brings up, but it
- 35:32Speaker 2: ends with in liberalism that's dying right now. So we
- 35:35Speaker 2: need this fourth political theory. And in this fourth political theory,
- 35:40Speaker 2: basically the premise is you'd be whatever kind of fucking
- 35:43Speaker 2: authoritarian nightmare you want in your country, and we'll do
- 35:46Speaker 2: the same here. And as long as we can agree
- 35:49Speaker 2: to just not get involved in each other's business. So
- 35:52Speaker 2: what if every country in the world decides Muslims aren't
- 35:55Speaker 2: allowed someday, fine, your your own country, you get to
- 35:58Speaker 2: say whatever you want.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Kind of corrupt isolationism. Yep, yeah, very much.
- 36:03Speaker 2: It is a we're all fascists and don't say shit
- 36:07Speaker 2: about it.
- 36:08Speaker 3: I could see that working, Yeah.
- 36:11Speaker 2: I could absolutely see that kind of shit.
- 36:13Speaker 3: Where We've got the capitalist fascist thing going on over here,
- 36:16Speaker 3: China's got the communist fascist thing going on over there,
- 36:19Speaker 3: you know, every shade in between.
- 36:21Speaker 2: Not that I could see the United States and China
- 36:23Speaker 2: teaming up, but if we're talking United States, China, and India,
- 36:28Speaker 2: who do they all especially hate Muslims. So I could
- 36:31Speaker 2: absolutely see it being a thing where. Listen, if you
- 36:34Speaker 2: don't want Muslims in your country, that's fine, that's how
- 36:37Speaker 2: the world works. And then someone will raise their hand
- 36:39Speaker 2: and go, well, where do all the Muslims go? And
- 36:41Speaker 2: they'll go, eh, no, that's their problem, and then genocide happens.
- 36:46Speaker 2: So now let's talk about Elon Musk. Finally, I know
- 36:50Speaker 2: we've been excited. The same year India started fixating on
- 36:54Speaker 2: George Soros, America's first foreign born president, Elon Musk also
- 36:58Speaker 2: latched onto the Fine Nancier as being the cause of
- 37:02Speaker 2: all of life's problems, despite the fact that George Soros
- 37:05Speaker 2: pumped a lot of money into Tesla. At one point
- 37:07Speaker 2: in May twenty twenty three, Elon Musk took to Twitter
- 37:11Speaker 2: currently known as x to launch a whole litany of
- 37:14Speaker 2: attacks against Soros. For starters, he said, Soros quote hates
- 37:19Speaker 2: humanity and he wants to erode the very fabric of civilization.
- 37:23Speaker 2: And what's interesting is he said that in reply to
- 37:28Speaker 2: someone being like, you know, Soros is a Holocaust survivor
- 37:31Speaker 2: and he's mostly got good intentions here. And Elon Musk's
- 37:34Speaker 2: full response was you assume they're good intentions, they're not.
- 37:38Speaker 2: He wants to erode the very fabric of civilization. Soros
- 37:41Speaker 2: hates humanity end quote, which I don't know about that.
- 37:45Speaker 3: Elon must does be bringing up the very fabric of
- 37:47Speaker 3: civilization a lot. You know, It's like, yeah, you can
- 37:51Speaker 3: make anything sound dramatic and important when you dropped the
- 37:53Speaker 3: very fabric of civilization.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Yeah, And I don't know, has anyone ever been like,
- 37:58Speaker 2: what is the fabric of civilization? I bet he'd be
- 38:00Speaker 2: like white people. Yeah, seems like that's what he's getting
- 38:04Speaker 2: at when he says the fabric He's sure is fuck.
- 38:06Speaker 3: Having a lot of white kids. Have you heard about
- 38:08Speaker 3: all his weird secret babies all over the place.
- 38:10Speaker 2: I've heard a little bit about it.
- 38:12Speaker 3: It sounds like he'll just mail any magamammi some sperm
- 38:15Speaker 3: anywhere in the continental US, just for the sake of creating.
- 38:20Speaker 3: He's always tweeting about not depopulation, but like the population
- 38:23Speaker 3: rates going down and people not they're not being the
- 38:26Speaker 3: birth rates and not being all the Sistinaans and blah
- 38:27Speaker 3: blah blah. So he's trying to do his part to
- 38:30Speaker 3: you know, be a little little Johnny Applesey of his DNA.
- 38:33Speaker 2: That does not surprise me. It also kills me that
- 38:37Speaker 2: right wingers want more babies in this country. But also
- 38:41Speaker 2: their first order of business upon taking control of the
- 38:44Speaker 2: government is shutting down snap benefits, which is just gonna
- 38:48Speaker 2: kill babies if that carries on long enough.
- 38:51Speaker 3: But well, now this way will be a country of
- 38:53Speaker 3: only really hardy babies.
- 38:54Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true, those Charlie Kirk babies with the bones
- 38:57Speaker 2: of steel.
- 38:58Speaker 3: Yeah, it's what we need.
- 39:00Speaker 2: So this might not seem especially inflammatory at first, but
- 39:05Speaker 2: when Elon Musk was tweeting about George Soros, he also
- 39:08Speaker 2: said that quote Soros reminds me of Magneto, marvel character obviously,
- 39:13Speaker 2: but once you read Marvel's official description of Magneto, which
- 39:18Speaker 2: has evolved over the years, you'll get why that part
- 39:21Speaker 2: is especially heinous. Marvel's official character description calls Magneto a
- 39:27Speaker 2: Jewish super villain who quote fights to help mutants replace
- 39:31Speaker 2: humans as the world's dominant species end quote. So he's
- 39:35Speaker 2: saying George Soros is engaging in the great replacement theory
- 39:40Speaker 2: by comparing him to Magneto.
- 39:42Speaker 3: Well, it's like you tweet something that makes you look gracious,
- 39:44Speaker 3: but you go out of your way to make sure
- 39:45Speaker 3: it also makes you look like a fucking nerd.
- 39:47Speaker 2: That is going to forever be the most fascinating thing
- 39:51Speaker 2: about Elon Musk. Just absolute proof you cannot buy cool.
- 39:56Speaker 2: Yeah no really, chants like this mother fucker was selling
- 40:00Speaker 2: flame throwers on the internet and we were like, shut up, nerd,
- 40:04Speaker 2: fuck you. I mean I would have bought one of
- 40:06Speaker 2: those flamethrows.
- 40:06Speaker 3: Sure, I think it's technically a roofing torch. Oh yeah,
- 40:10Speaker 3: so you know, just a little light roofing.
- 40:12Speaker 2: Well, then fuck that nerd, like I said, so, yeah, Magneto,
- 40:17Speaker 2: I found all this interesting. We'll link to This is
- 40:19Speaker 2: a New York Times article, one of the ones where
- 40:22Speaker 2: they're not cow telling the Nazis. Magneto did not start
- 40:25Speaker 2: out as a Jewish character. It wasn't until the eighties
- 40:29Speaker 2: when a Jewish Marvel writer named Chris Claremont fleshed out
- 40:33Speaker 2: Magneto's backstory, and he made it where Magneto was held
- 40:38Speaker 2: in the Auschwitz death camp and the brutality he endured
- 40:42Speaker 2: there is what inspired his fight to end human oppression
- 40:47Speaker 2: of mutants like himself. But even then, Magneto wasn't explicitly
- 40:51Speaker 2: mentioned as being Jewish. That didn't happen until two thousands.
- 40:55Speaker 2: So Musk isn't completely wrong that Sorrows and Magneto have
- 40:58Speaker 2: some similarities, but it's just mostly that their motivations mostly
- 41:02Speaker 2: boiled down to I got brutalized by the Nazis, and
- 41:05Speaker 2: now I'm spending my money in response to that.
- 41:07Speaker 3: I'm sorry, I'm just having a little Mandela effect because
- 41:09Speaker 3: I always remembered Magneto being Jewish. But I guess I
- 41:12Speaker 3: lived a short life in the nineteen nineties before Magneto
- 41:16Speaker 3: was Jewish.
- 41:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know, because it's mentioned in this interview
- 41:19Speaker 2: with Chris Claremont that he didn't like flat out say.
- 41:24Speaker 2: But also at the same time, what else was anyone
- 41:26Speaker 2: to suspect if Magneto was in a concentration game Auschwitz.
- 41:32Speaker 2: I think you're just immediately going to go to So.
- 41:34Speaker 3: He's Jewish, he's a Romanian.
- 41:36Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a Communist.
- 41:38Speaker 3: He's a gay Romanian.
- 41:40Speaker 2: It's mentioned in this article that this is a quote.
- 41:45Speaker 2: It wasn't until the X Men movies of the early
- 41:47Speaker 2: two thousands. In the two thousand and nine comic book
- 41:50Speaker 2: series Magneto Testament, that the Mutant's jewishness was made Cannon,
- 41:54Speaker 2: I know almost nothing about comic books.
- 41:57Speaker 3: So oh, I was. I was impressed with the research.
- 41:59Speaker 2: Oh, it's all from the Washington Post article that I
- 42:02Speaker 2: just called a New York Times article a second ago.
- 42:05Speaker 2: Fuck research.
- 42:06Speaker 3: It is funny when you look at his official description
- 42:08Speaker 3: as a Jewish supervillain.
- 42:11Speaker 2: That's a weird turn. But also Jewish writer who came
- 42:15Speaker 2: up with that?
- 42:15Speaker 3: So it's fine, jeez, where'd you get that idea? It's
- 42:19Speaker 3: an Irish supervillain. You're never going to believe it.
- 42:23Speaker 2: So on the next episode, we're going to talk a
- 42:25Speaker 2: little more about Elon Musk and Naibukela and Trump and
- 42:29Speaker 2: their meeting of the minds on George Soros and just
- 42:32Speaker 2: some of the things Trump is doing in the name
- 42:35Speaker 2: of fighting George Soros, which he's taking it to a
- 42:38Speaker 2: whole other extreme. Trump's going to be the guy to
- 42:40Speaker 2: actually try to prosecute George Soros.
- 42:45Speaker 3: I would not be surprised. He loves the sue.
- 42:48Speaker 2: And we mentioned it before and it'll come up a
- 42:51Speaker 2: lot on the next episode. But with that terror designation
- 42:55Speaker 2: for Antifa, that's what he's going to be able to
- 42:58Speaker 2: use to go after George. Because again, we've got since
- 43:02Speaker 2: fucking two thousand and one. We have a couple decades
- 43:06Speaker 2: of history that tell us how this country treats people
- 43:10Speaker 2: accused of being terrorists. You don't get the same rights,
- 43:13Speaker 2: you don't get the same due process. We will freeze
- 43:16Speaker 2: your fucking assets. I could see all of that shit
- 43:19Speaker 2: happening to George Soros at some point, and then that's
- 43:23Speaker 2: kind of all they need. They can freeze his fucking assets.
- 43:26Speaker 2: Then he can't fund these media outlets anymore.
- 43:29Speaker 3: Yeah, that's his whole firepower.
- 43:31Speaker 2: That could be all this is about. I think going
- 43:33Speaker 2: after George Soros is a lot of what that Antifa
- 43:38Speaker 2: terror designation is actually about, because.
- 43:41Speaker 3: As we all know, you can't prove who's in Antifa
- 43:44Speaker 3: or isn't in Antifa because it doesn't exist, which essentially
- 43:47Speaker 3: means you could bust someone for donating anything because it
- 43:49Speaker 3: could be a part of Antifa, which is not real.
- 43:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, they're investigating Black Lives Matter as a
- 43:56Speaker 2: possible terrorist organization, and how many people do we know
- 43:59Speaker 2: that don't need money to Black Lives Matter? In twenty twenty?
- 44:02Speaker 2: I did? Does that mean I'm on a fucking terror
- 44:04Speaker 2: list somewhere?
- 44:05Speaker 3: I did too, because I'm a fucking try hard. It's
- 44:10Speaker 3: just funny for me to put it like that.
- 44:13Speaker 2: So that's our episode for now. We will wrap up
- 44:16Speaker 2: the George sorisodes next week. Until then, Connor, thank you
- 44:21Speaker 2: so much for doing the pod. What in the fuck
- 44:24Speaker 2: do we have to plug before we get out of here?
