Massage therapist Matthew Owen Jones, 44, was arrested and charged with sexual abuse after allegations surfaced from clients at Escape Day Spa. Facing two counts, he’s out on a $30,000 bond. A civil suit filed the same day accuses him of assaulting a client in July 2025, while also blaming the spa for ignoring complaints and allowing him to work after his Alabama license expired.
