- 0:46SPEAKER_00: Well, hello, beautiful souls, and welcome back to another episode of the Live Well podcast.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: I am so excited because with me today is Muriel, who is a past client.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: Um, and if you're listening to this, this means that well-nourished and one-on-one spaces for fall 2021 are now open.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: And you've probably seen me post the transformations, hear me talk about it, and I know that there are so many of you who are on the fence and want to hear about someone who has had the same fears, who has been where you've been, who is stuck and who has quote unquote tried everything and you know thought that they were just gonna be stuck forever.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: So I want you to experience some of my past clients this week and really use them as expanders to see what is possible for you.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: They are not special in the sense that they are, you know, one in a million, it's possible for them for not for you.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: They are here to show you that they are just like you, they are struggling or they were struggling, and now they are on the other side.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: Uh, and I know some of you have already signed up to be either in well-nourished or in one-on-one, and so this can really serve as excitement for you about what's in store.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: And honestly, when she happened on the call for this, she was glowing.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: Like, I was like shocked by the woman that I saw on the other side compared to the woman when she started working with me.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: It's well, you're gonna hear it.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: She's truly inspiring, truly a rock star, a woman to be reckoned with.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Like, watch out, she's just all around amazing.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: With that, let's get into the episode.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: All right, guys, welcome back into another episode of the podcast.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: I am so excited.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: I have a rock star guest for you.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: I'm beaming, she's beaming.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna let her introduce herself.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, welcome to the Live Well podcast.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: Oh, thank you so much for having me.
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: It's such an honor to be here.
- 2:35SPEAKER_01: So my name is I'm honored.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: I'm honored.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: Oh, you're so sweet.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: Um, so my name is Muriel.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: And well, before we started working together, I was struggling with gut health.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: I had IBS C, which stands for irritable bowel syndrome with chronic constipation for like three and a half years.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: Um, I saw different doctors, they all told me that there's no cure for IBS.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: So I had to be on medication to kind of like manage my symptoms.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: Uh, but the thing is that the medication stopped working for me.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: And I was dealing with awful symptoms like headaches and bloating and overall discomfort.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: So I had to start taking laxatives and doing NMS to kind of like help myself to go to the bathroom.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: Because if I hadn't, you know, taken any laxatives or anything, I was not able to go to the bathroom, basically.
- 3:33SPEAKER_01: So it was pretty, pretty chronic.
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: Um, so I remember one day I was feeling, you know, miserable.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: And I went on Instagram and saw one of your posts, and it was like a success story from one of your clients, and I think she was dealing with something similar, and I felt so inspired that I was like, I need to reach out to her because she has the answer to my problems, and that's what I did, and I am so grateful that I did because we worked together for like three months, and uh like my life changed seriously.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: I remember your your intake, my first like call with you, and you're giving me your history.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: Like it sticks out to me versus like other ones because I remember being like, How?
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: How do you not go?
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: How have you been living like this?
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: What did someone tell you?
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: And that's what really bothers me, and this happens with many people on my first call with them is that they were told that they just had to live with it.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: There's nothing you can do.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: Oh, the doctor dismisses them, or like take these pills, or you just have to deal with it.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: And it's so infuriating.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: And I know I've been there too.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: It's infuriating, it's discouraging, and then you lose hope, and then you're stuck doing enemas multiple times a week just to go.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: Yes, yeah.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: And let's not underestimate.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: We all know how uncomfortable it is when you cannot go to the bathroom.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, it's so frustrating, it's terrible.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I really feel like constipation is worse than like the diarrhea.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: Like I would 100% rather have other yes, yeah, I totally agree with you.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's it's awful.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: So, what are the key things you feel like you've learned that have changed the game for you?
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: Well, I think that just learning how to set boundaries without feeling guilty.
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: Because you remember that this was huge for me.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: So before I didn't know anything about boundaries because I was a people pleaser.
- 5:26SPEAKER_01: So when I started learning more about boundaries, I would set boundaries, but then I would feel guilty for setting boundaries.
- 5:33SPEAKER_01: And it was because I was still coming from that wounded place where I would set a boundary and I would be like, oh, what if this person, you know, stops talking to me or um doesn't like me anymore?
- 5:44SPEAKER_01: And you know, after working on myself, I learned that setting boundaries is part of self-love.
- 5:51SPEAKER_01: So I learned that yeah, I need to set boundaries, I have to set boundaries.
- 5:56SPEAKER_01: And some people might not like my boundaries, and that's okay.
- 6:00SPEAKER_01: And I remember one time you told me something like, if someone gets mad at you for setting boundaries, it's because they were probably benefiting from you not having them in the first place.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: And that is so true.
- 6:13SPEAKER_01: So now I come from more like an empowered place where I set boundaries and I don't feel guilty.
- 6:21SPEAKER_01: And if people don't like them, that's fine, that's on them.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: And if someone crosses my boundaries, I try to kind of like take a deep breath and disconnect from the situation because I don't like that affect me either.
- 6:34SPEAKER_01: It's it's just not worth it.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: I love that you said that.
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: And also because I think people underestimate the connection between like emotions and energy and things like boundaries and people pleasing that they have on your gut.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: And like similar to you, um, you came to me and your diet was already like clean.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: So people like, oh, like I'm blitter all the time, I'm constipated, but like I'm eating clean.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: So, like, what's the problem?
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, Well, you're not doing the emotional stuff, and that's always the answer.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: And people say that they've tried everything.
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: I'm just like, yeah, it's not your diet, like, there's something else.
- 7:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that is so true.
- 7:08SPEAKER_01: So yeah, that was huge.
- 7:10SPEAKER_01: And then I would say another thing that I learned that changed the game for me was to kind of like how to protect my energy on a daily basis because I didn't know I was an empath.
- 7:20SPEAKER_01: So I was literally absorbing other people's feelings and emotions like they were my own.
- 7:26SPEAKER_01: And this was affecting me big time, and it was affecting my energy and my my well-being.
- 7:32SPEAKER_01: So just learning like tips and tricks on how to protect my energy after every interaction and you know, on a daily basis, like really changed the game for me.
- 7:41SPEAKER_01: It sounds simple, but it it really had an effect on me.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: No, and I love that you said that too, because again, especially nowadays, it's even more important than ever to protect your energy.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: And there's so many people who are empaths and don't know it, or like they are energy, well, we're all energetic beings, right?
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: And so when you're trying to like not only deal with your stuff, but deal with everyone else's stuff and Sally in the grocery store stuff, it just becomes impossible.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: Well, then no wonder you are, you know, feeling exhausted or costly or whatever it is that you're struggling with.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: It's because, like you said, you're not protecting your energy, and so you become like a 7-Eleven where anyone can walk in and walk out, right?
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: So you like you said, you underestimate those little things, but we are energetic beings, so of course it would affect it.
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: So having like learned all these things and being where you are now, kind of like where you were before, starting working with me and now, what would you tell someone now who's not feeling good in their health, not feeling good in their body, and like is stuck and they don't know what to do?
- 8:45SPEAKER_01: I would say um, just using my my story as an example, um, like you said, like I was eating healthy, I was, you know, exercising and eating more fiber and pretty much doing everything that I needed to do in order to actually go to the bathroom.
- 9:02SPEAKER_01: And nothing was working.
- 9:03SPEAKER_01: And I was on medication, and the medication wasn't really treating the emotional aspect of it.
- 9:09SPEAKER_01: And that's why I, you know, it stopped working for me.
- 9:12SPEAKER_01: It wasn't doing anything because I needed to take care of the emotional part.
- 9:17SPEAKER_01: So it wasn't until we started doing all the trauma release and the energy healing that I started seeing results because obviously we worked on releasing a lot of negative emotions uh that were trapped in my gut, like um shame, guilt, um, low self-esteem, low self-worth.
- 9:36SPEAKER_01: Um, so that's basically what actually healed me.
- 9:40SPEAKER_01: So now I don't need to take laxatives, I don't need to do NMS, um, I don't deal with awful symptoms like I was doing before.
- 9:50SPEAKER_01: And it's just because energy healing really took care of it.
- 9:55SPEAKER_01: So if someone is out there not feeling good in their body and feeling like they're lost because they've tried everything, like you mentioned, I would highly recommend for them to try energy healing because it changed my life.
- 10:10SPEAKER_01: And I'm pretty sure it will change their life because everybody deserves to live a better and a healthier life for sure.
- 10:18SPEAKER_00: Oh, I love that.
- 10:19SPEAKER_00: I love that you said that because I feel like sometimes people get trapped in their symptoms and thinking there's not hope, thinking that there's just something that they have to live with.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: And, you know, I've seen all different kinds of conditions, all different things, and nothing is unrecoverable.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: Like everything is figure outable.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: We just need to release it from your body, and like then you have like you had releases actually.
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: But all those emotions, right, have to go somewhere.
- 10:46SPEAKER_00: I just wanted to hop on to remind you guys that well nourished is open for the final round this year.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: This is going to empower you to not only live healthy in a delicious and satisfying way, but it's going to dive deep so you can anchor and embody it into a new way of life.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: We're gonna dive deep, mind and body, to ensure that you are well nourished as a whole, so that you can finally understand how to nourish your body in a way that is sustainable long term, so that honestly you can get back to feeling yourself.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: It's not about never eating pizza, it's about making these things healthy and conscious so that you can still feel delicious in your body and as we know get pleasure out of life.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: I'm all about pleasure.
- 11:27SPEAKER_00: But first, you have to clear this off of blocking you before you can build in that feeling of being healthy.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: So here's to having a healthy relationship with food that's going to allow you to enjoy with pleasure and have fun while you heal.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: Because when you start taking care of yourself, you start to feel better, you start looking better, and you start to attract better.
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: And it all starts with you.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: You are one choice away from living a completely different life.
- 11:52SPEAKER_00: So if a post, a story, a podcast has inspired you, imagine what a course does.
- 11:57SPEAKER_00: Oh, it quantum leaps you.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: We fast track the healing journey.
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: So if you've been working on this for months, for years, not feeling good in your body, not feeling, you know, not seeing the results that you really want and need, and just like, oh, Liv, I want to fix this, then you need to get inside well nourished because it's not just physical, we do emotional too, which makes this the only program of its kind.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: And you have me, Dr.
- 12:21SPEAKER_00: Liv, with you.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: And each client well-nourished gets not only my full attention, but a custom treatment protocol just for you in our one-on-one.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: And this is like magical gold dust.
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: Like this is me and you, custom treatment protocol.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: Plus, you get my support for eight weeks.
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: And this level of guidance while having access to me is the reason that you guys see so many wonderful, huge transformations from well-nourished.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: You owe it to yourself to at least open the conversation with me about how I can fix it and how I can have you feeling good.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: Because that's all I want to do is have more women feeling good in their bodies, good in their health.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: So check out the link below in the show notes.
- 12:57SPEAKER_00: DM me if you have any questions.
- 12:58SPEAKER_00: And with that, let's get back to the show.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: I agree with you.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: Until you release them, oh, that's so.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: So was there like any light bulb moment where you felt like something clicked and you're like, yes, this?
- 13:13SPEAKER_01: Yes, for sure.
- 13:14SPEAKER_01: I remember um one session that we had when you told me that I didn't need to do anything to be loved, that I am just lovable because I exist, and that I don't need to do things for love, but from love.
- 13:29SPEAKER_01: That to me was a game changer.
- 13:32SPEAKER_01: Like I feel like there was a before and an after that session.
- 13:36SPEAKER_01: Um, and you know, some people might hear this and be like, well, that's very obvious.
- 13:41SPEAKER_01: But when you're coming from a very wounded place like I was, you don't know any different.
- 13:48SPEAKER_01: So I didn't realize that I was doing things in in my life because I was looking for love from the outside, because I was looking for external validation, because I didn't know how to love myself.
- 14:01SPEAKER_01: So some of us, you know, we grew up in families where love was conditional, and that's what we learned.
- 14:08SPEAKER_01: So as adults, then that's how we relate to the work.
- 14:12SPEAKER_01: So it was big for me to kind of like have that moment where, like you were saying, everything clicked, and I was like, oh my God, this makes total sense.
- 14:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I don't like I am lovable just because I'm here, I exist.
- 14:26SPEAKER_01: Like I don't need to change myself for people to love me.
- 14:29SPEAKER_01: And I have to embrace who I am and embrace myself.
- 14:34SPEAKER_01: And you know, the right people will love me for who I am.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: You know, I think you say that it sounds simple and people know this.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: They might read it when, like, I say do things from love, not for love.
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: But I don't think it really sinks in for a lot of people until you actually stop and look at your actions.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: Like, am I attending this event because I'm scared if I don't, my friends are gonna leave me?
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: Or am I doing this for my partner because if I don't, I'm scared he's gonna leave me.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: When you actually step back and look, you might actually realize how often you are doing things for love and not from it.
- 15:07SPEAKER_00: And like you said, people may have learned things are conditional, but they don't realize that even things like when you're growing up, if mom recognized when you got an A on your test, but invalidated you if you got a C, well, then you did learn love was conditional because you saw, oh, mommy gets really excited if I get an A.
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: So I have to get an A in order to get love.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: And this is no fault of parents, right?
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: This is just like probably how they were raised, but we often get recognition not for existing as children.
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: Exactly recognition for the A or making the soccer team or doing this, we don't get recognition for existing.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: So it's no wonder so many of us are walking around as adults not feeling worthy for existing.
- 15:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I totally agree with you.
- 15:50SPEAKER_01: And I feel like that's something that it's kind of like my mantra now.
- 15:53SPEAKER_01: Like I like to remind myself to do things from love and not for love.
- 15:58SPEAKER_01: And I like to check in with myself before doing anything.
- 16:02SPEAKER_01: Like I asked myself, okay, am I doing this for love or from love?
- 16:06SPEAKER_01: Just to make sure, you know?
- 16:08SPEAKER_01: And and I love it.
- 16:09SPEAKER_01: Like I said, it was it was so huge for me that I felt like there was a before and an after that session.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: Now, before working with me, did you feel like you had any like fears about working with me?
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: And like what made you actually take the plunge?
- 16:25SPEAKER_01: Yes, yes.
- 16:27SPEAKER_01: Um, because I don't know if you remember that I told you I was already like kind of like working with an energy healer, right?
- 16:34SPEAKER_01: I remember laughing and I was like, I don't mean to be mean, but it's not it.
- 16:41SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 16:41SPEAKER_01: Well, the thing is that um just because I was so tired of dealing with my symptoms and IBS, I started seeing a healer and I was doing like past life regressions, like I was trying, you know, everything.
- 16:55SPEAKER_01: And I mean, she helped me, but just a little bit.
- 17:01SPEAKER_01: But I I felt like yeah, I I was not seeing any progress, I wasn't like seeing any results.
- 17:08SPEAKER_01: So I was like, okay, so I need to reach out to to leave because I feel like she has the answer to my problems.
- 17:15SPEAKER_01: And I remember after our first call that I was so excited about telling you, like, oh my God, I've been doing energy healing for I don't know, three months or whatever.
- 17:23SPEAKER_01: And you were like, Are you sure?
- 17:26SPEAKER_01: Because if you had healed everything that you're telling me that you've been working on, you wouldn't be having all these symptoms.
- 17:33SPEAKER_01: And I literally like cried.
- 17:36SPEAKER_01: I I cried because I was like, you're kidding me.
- 17:40SPEAKER_01: Like, I thought you were gonna tell me, like, okay, let's just work on this thing that you probably haven't worked on, you know, or kind of like something different.
- 17:48SPEAKER_01: But it was just like, no, let's start from scratch here.
- 17:51SPEAKER_01: And I mean, I was like lost, but I had faith.
- 17:58SPEAKER_01: For some reason, I felt like I was guided to work with you.
- 18:02SPEAKER_01: So I went with my intuition and I was just like, you know what?
- 18:05SPEAKER_01: I don't care.
- 18:06SPEAKER_01: I'm ready.
- 18:07SPEAKER_01: I didn't even know I was gonna work with you for three months, but I was so committed to my healing that I was just like, yeah, I mean, let's do it.
- 18:15SPEAKER_00: I'm so proud of you.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: I hope you know that.
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: And I always remember that call you're like, I'm a douty muscle.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: I'm like, no, no.
- 18:23SPEAKER_00: And like not to toot my own horn, but like I'm also really good at what I do.
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: And that's also, I want anyone listening to know that if you feel you have tried everything or like quote unquote tried everything, even people's approaches, even if, like, you know, we're both naturopaths or we're both energy healers, people have different ways of doing things.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: And like, so even if you feel like you've tried everything, are you doing the work?
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: If you are getting help and you have not seen results yet, this is like your sign to like maybe switch people.
- 18:54SPEAKER_00: Maybe that person is not for you, or their modality or the way they which is not what you need, and that's okay.
- 19:01SPEAKER_00: You know?
- 19:02SPEAKER_01: Yes, yes, a hundred percent.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: Was there anything that surprised you with working with me?
- 19:09SPEAKER_01: Um I'd have to say that I didn't expect the amount of growth that I got from working with you, to be honest.
- 19:20SPEAKER_01: Like I feel like everything that I learned about myself was amazing.
- 19:25SPEAKER_01: And at the same time, I didn't know that everything that I was dealing with was emotional.
- 19:31SPEAKER_01: It was crazy to me, right?
- 19:33SPEAKER_01: And I feel like I took my power back because before all the limiting beliefs, all the trapped emotions, all the trauma that was stored in my body, they were running the show and I wasn't happy.
- 19:49SPEAKER_01: They were kind of like holding me back from stepping into my power and becoming like my my true self.
- 19:57SPEAKER_01: So I'm very, very grateful that I that I did because I feel like a whole new person.
- 20:03SPEAKER_01: And so, yeah, maybe like you were saying, maybe um my story will inspire someone out there to start doing the work and start healing.
- 20:13SPEAKER_01: Um, because yeah, it might not be or it might not happen overnight.
- 20:18SPEAKER_01: It might not be easy, it might take time, but it's worth it.
- 20:22SPEAKER_01: I promise you, it's worth it.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: You are one of the prime examples of like the clients who put in the work, who show up prepared, who do it all, and like you dove in headfirst.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: Like you were blowing me away.
- 20:36SPEAKER_00: It's like she's prepared, she's doing the work.
- 20:38SPEAKER_00: And like that's also why you got such like a transformation.
- 20:42SPEAKER_00: And as much as you say you became a new person, I want to rephrase that as you became you.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 20:49SPEAKER_00: We stripped away the trauma, the limiting beliefs, and all that gunk that wasn't yours, yeah, so that you could actually embody that full, delicious, magnetic, amazing version of you that you are.
- 21:00SPEAKER_01: Oh, thank you so much.
- 21:01SPEAKER_01: I mean, I owe you so much because this experience was life-changing.
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: Seriously.
- 21:07SPEAKER_01: Like that's that's how I can describe it.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: Well, I'm so happy I got to help you on your journey, and I'm so grateful that you were able to come on here and share this with everyone.
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: I know it's going to inspire some people who are sitting there to take control of your life, to get their power back and start living that life just like how you did for yourself.
- 21:26SPEAKER_00: They're gonna turn around and do it for them.
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: So thank you so much for coming on, and yeah, we will talk soon.
- 21:33SPEAKER_00: Of course.
- 21:34SPEAKER_00: Thank you, and talk to you soon.
- 21:36SPEAKER_00: All right, guys, I hope you enjoyed this episode and it gave you some inspiration, it gave you some hope, and it really showed you that you deserve to feel good in yourself, good when you wake up, good in your body, good in your health, and that whatever your situation is now does not have to be your forever.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: If you've been dismissed by other doctors, if you've tried everything, the supplements, the cleanses, you know, work with different healers, this is your opportunity to at least reach out to me and let me know what's going on so that I can tell you like how I can help.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: If I can help you, um, I mean, chances are like I've never not been able to help someone, so I can probably help you.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: Um, but I can at least guide you in the right direction in terms of what we can do, what I can offer you, and just how I would approach your situation maybe differently than people would have in the past that may have not gotten you where you should be.
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: So, yeah, thank you guys so much for listening.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: Um, and I'm excited to talk to you guys in the next episode.
