Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_00: In the last six months, I have become wealthy.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: But not wealthy in terms of financially.
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: In fact, financially, I have not done very well objectively.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: But that's changing this next week.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: And it's because I've become wealthy with knowledge, with intelligence.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: I have learned lessons that I feel like I should have known before.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: But there are some lessons that you can read about, you can hear about, you can talk about, but until you go through it yourself, your business, your life, you won't ingrain it.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: And so you won't abide by it.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: And so the lesson I learned was one, the 80-20 rule, but also patience and delayed gratification.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: You see, what I did is I was driving a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful uh yellow uh convertible Mustang.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: And I loved the car.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: Love loved the car.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: Great rims, you know, great tires, uh, great radio, heated everything was awesome.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: I sold the car.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: And when I first got my credit, I was honestly pretty stupid with it.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: So I had some debt to pay off.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: I had put it all into sports gambling, right?
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: And so I paid that off.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: And then after I paid that off, I put everything into marketing.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: And for the last three, four, five, maybe six months, I've been driving around a beat up uh 2010 Honda Odyssey, which also is funny because I feel like that was a calling from God, right?
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: Because if you guys remember a few a few months ago, I made a video, I think it might have also been on patience or uh no, I think it was on objective decision making rather than emotion, emotional decision making.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: And it was about, I was saying, like, this guy in a Honda brake checked me, a Honda Accord, and now I'm driving a beat-up Honda Odyssey.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: So it's it's funny how how God will do that and you know take things full circle.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: But yeah, so I mean, literally, I've made very, very little money the last six months, and this next week I am making what to others seems like a lot, what to some is more or is their yearly salary, what to most is amazing for a 20-year-old, what to me is the beginning of something great, and they say that the journey is more important or more valuable than the destination, and man, I am making a big I mean, not not nearly towards my goals, but big chunk of change right now this next week.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: And I'm kind of emotional about it to be honest, because I I know you know the struggles I've been through, I know the hardships I've been through, I know you know, driving this again, this minivan around it.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: Honestly, it's been kind of difficult.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: You know, I'm I'm a Christian man, and so I I shouldn't, but I do kind of identify myself as the guy who's driving that, right?
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: And so um I am glad that I failed for so long.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: A, because I I know that God always has a plan and God uh put me through that for a reason, right?
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: But then B, because I learned lessons during that time.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: I learned A to be redemptive in my business, I learned to be resilient, I learned to be transparent, I learned to be authentic, I learned patience, I learned the 80-20 rule, I learned so many different lessons, and I met so many different amazing people.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: And I could have made this money a year ago, six months ago, but I am glad that I didn't.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: Because if I had, who knows who I would be right now?
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: Who knows what lessons I might not know that I've learned by going through this struggle?
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: And it's it's the same thing with you know, a lot of you guys know about my my past mental health struggles.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: It's the same thing there where you know I went through those struggles, but now it's made me who I am today.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: And so if you are going through a struggle right now, if you are going through hardships or if you are going through hard times, I just want you to remember God always has a plan.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: And it's very cliche, very cliche, but God gives his toughest soldiers the toughest battles.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: I believe in you, God believes in you, if no one else, believe in yourself.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: I'm here, God's here.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: I hope you guys have a blessed rest of your week, and I hope that whatever whatever is on your mind gets better.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: But just remember that before it gets better, it may get worse, and it's tough, but I believe you will endure.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: Thank you guys so much for listening.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: Have a blessed week.
- 5:37unknown: Stay.
