- 0:00Oh, yeah. Let's do the episode.
- 0:02Hello, Hello. Hello.
- 0:04And welcome to episode 134, Draft Offsides.
- 0:07I'm with Tikko Enzo. My name is Keith Enzo.
- 0:10You seem in OK spirits. This I'm in denial.
- 0:14You're in denial. Complete denial like that draw.
- 0:17Complete denial about Tottenham, the Tottenham draw with leads.
- 0:19So you're in denial that you you don't think it happened or you
- 0:22just think everything's going to be fine.
- 0:24I'm hoping everything's going to be fine but I don't think it is.
- 0:27We're playing you next week and Chelsea hates Tottenham.
- 0:30What hurt more, the Tottenham Hotspur draw with Leeds or the
- 0:33Arsenal disallowed goal or the dislod goal against Arsenal?
- 0:38Oh, that's a good fucking question.
- 0:39I'm going to say the draw of Leeds because the.
- 0:43The West Ham. The West Ham had already
- 0:45happened so. Yeah.
- 0:47Yeah. What?
- 0:47It's OK. We just argued about this for
- 0:50like 10 minutes off air, but do you want to talk about the the
- 0:55dislodge goal just for a brief second at the top?
- 0:58I think it should go from start with Tico first because it'll be
- 1:01like a slightly unbiased opinion.
- 1:04OK. So we'll go.
- 1:04We'll go around in a circle, yeah.
- 1:06Yeah, come on. Oh yeah, you got you go.
- 1:08What do you think, Quick? I think the goal should have
- 1:12stood. I don't think they should have
- 1:13gone too far because there was so much pushing and I thought
- 1:16the image, they looked like the cut, they kept showing up.
- 1:19At least on the TV replay it was when he was grabbing it.
- 1:22But to me, when you watch the full replay, it seemed like
- 1:24someone like pushed him on there.
- 1:26But even in that short thing, there were so many like Jersey
- 1:28pools, rice hugging someone else.
- 1:30So I think everything should have just offset and the call on
- 1:33the field should have said because I don't think there was
- 1:35enough proof to overturn it. Good.
- 1:38I like that. It's the same.
- 1:38A lot of proof. OK, My my take is that that it's
- 1:42probably a foul, but the fact that that's been being allowed
- 1:47all season leads to some really frustrating inconsistency and
- 1:50like the Tito's point, all the grappling and all those things
- 1:53makes it. And just like there's been
- 1:55plenty of other examples that I'm like I can share.
- 1:57I know, I know Sergei doesn't really dispute some of them, but
- 2:01like I, I vividly remember like JA Pedro getting punched in the
- 2:04face by Deborah and I vividly remember some of these like
- 2:06these like hockey tackles and like jiu jitsu moves that guys
- 2:09are doing that aren't getting called.
- 2:11So I'm just saying that there's like a level of inconsistency
- 2:13and like the, the football fan in me just wanted it so bad to
- 2:17be a goal. And I'm but I'm not trying to
- 2:19let that crowd the fact that I do like at the end of the day,
- 2:21that like if you if you see that cell frame like these these rats
- 2:25are just such nerds that they can't like they they have to
- 2:28call it the same way with the Tottenham foul.
- 2:29They just have to call those because they just don't know any
- 2:31better. OK, ends up.
- 2:34I feel it was a fell on the goalkeeper but I've been saying
- 2:36this for every single time, but I've seen so many of these goals
- 2:39allowed. Even we've seen that I'm a
- 2:42slightly biased and I I understand what so he's coming
- 2:45from, but when I see it constantly and I've seen Arsenal
- 2:48constantly this season and whether it's before the ball or
- 2:52when the ball's there, it's still impeding.
- 2:56I just feel like the refs are over refereeing and they've
- 2:58they've let Vah make a big decision in the Championship.
- 3:00Well, the ref made the decision not far.
- 3:03Yeah, but yeah, whatever. But you know what he means.
- 3:06Sergei, do you care to comment? I just want to let let the
- 3:08facts. Looks like here to comment.
- 3:11That's the only reason I called in today.
- 3:14It's like a. Radius thing, Yeah.
- 3:16Please speak to us producers. OK, so first of all, whatever.
- 3:21The second Suraya is unprecedented.
- 3:23Nothing like this has ever happened in the past three
- 3:26seasons. No, whatever.
- 3:29If you want to bring in Arsenal's corners, we usually
- 3:32mess around with the keeper and and put blocking and stuff
- 3:35before the ball is played. That's one second usually when
- 3:40goalkeeper just go flop at the ball and just fall down.
- 3:43Rye actually had his two hands on the balls where if he wasn't
- 3:47grabbed he would have caught it if not punched it real good.
- 3:50Watch it again. He actually had his two hands on
- 3:53the ball. He had fouls on two people just.
- 3:56Like this? No, go look, he says.
- 3:59He had his. Feet on the ground.
- 4:01No, he had his two hands. Yeah.
- 4:04Why isn't he jumping? He did jump.
- 4:06He wasn't being pulled down. What are you talking about?
- 4:09He was being I. Feel like there's arguments in
- 4:12your? I feel like there's arguments
- 4:13for your cause and you're not making them.
- 4:14You're making like the worst arguments.
- 4:17You know, you're making, you're making Arsenal arguments.
- 4:20Yeah, it's the same thing. Because that's why you bring it
- 4:22up. That's what I said in the
- 4:23beginning. The only reason you be
- 4:25everybody's all righteous is because this is Arsenal.
- 4:28If this was everything, obviously this was everything.
- 4:32Nobody would say anything because Bernardo Silva tackled
- 4:36the Everton guy in the penalty box.
- 4:38Nobody says anything. Nobody said it should have been
- 4:41a penalty. Now it's Arsenal.
- 4:43Oh, the ref called it. Oh my God, Bart turned it.
- 4:46Oh no, how could this happen? Oh my God.
- 4:49OK, I think we'll we'll leave it at that.
- 4:51I think we have different opinions on this, but I also
- 4:53think that it's just pretty shitty.
- 4:55I will put the videos for the I. Will put the videos in the
- 4:58podcast so you guys can see. OK, I don't know.
- 5:01I don't trust you to put the right ones in.
- 5:03Yeah. So that's what I, I would ask
- 5:05you not to do that. Thank you.
- 5:07If you want to do that, I, I hope that you can make a bot,
- 5:09you can go back and look at some like the Chelsea job, Pedro one.
- 5:12I'd love to see that video in here.
- 5:14I'd love to see. I'd love to see Ben Mayer
- 5:16Bacario. I'll put the.
- 5:18Onana One. Put the video, but put the video
- 5:21from the official like EPL YouTube page, like the NBC
- 5:24Sports page. You know, you think he's going
- 5:26to. We'll get copyrighted.
- 5:29OK, let's move on. Let's move on.
- 5:30That was the drama. Sorry everyone that didn't
- 5:32really care to hear that because they probably heard about it
- 5:341000 times already in the last three days.
- 5:36But OK, Enzo, you're doing well, Tico.
- 5:41You're doing well. Everything's good with you,
- 5:42Tico. I need 4 points from 2 Crystal
- 5:45Palace players and two City players combined on Wednesday
- 5:50and I win. Did you win?
- 5:53You clinch title. No, no, no.
- 5:55No. Oh, just through the weekend.
- 5:56If I went, if I go to no, I clinch tight.
- 5:58I need two wants to clinch. Nice, I'm up 50 plus points in
- 6:01one and 80 plus in the other. So you guys doing good?
- 6:04I'm going to win both the notch ups, but it does not matter.
- 6:07It's too little too late. I'm just I'm just looking like I
- 6:09might get 4th in both leagues. What are you going to do?
- 6:12Consistency. Consistency.
- 6:13I got third in both leagues last year, fourth this year, but in
- 6:17the one in my league with Nate, we're in first place, so no.
- 6:19By No. By.
- 6:24Repetitively. Hey Nate, fuck you.
- 6:27Hey, OK, let's get into waivers, boys.
- 6:30Let's just kick it off. So we're doing waivers.
- 6:32We're doing the same thing again where we kind of like
- 6:34color-coded on Enzo did it. I've actually think you got some
- 6:37really some smooth ones in here. And so the first one you have is
- 6:40Adam Smith from Bournemouth. Defender, 2% owned.
- 6:43He had 17.75 points, 6 points for the clean sheet, but that's
- 6:47fine with 11 goes. If you're in desperate need of a
- 6:51defender, this is like, he seems like a great one.
- 6:53He's on a team that's been undefeated, but Bournemouth's
- 6:55undefeated like 1617 straight. Now.
- 6:58The Alex Jimenez thing, I think we don't really don't need to
- 7:00talk about that. But he is probably never going
- 7:02to play football again. Nope.
- 7:03So in England at least, maybe France, yeah.
- 7:08But it sounds like Smith is the guy, at least for the next three
- 7:11games, you know, two games or whatever.
- 7:13Like, yeah, it seems like it seems like that's a really good
- 7:15child, especially if you're desperate.
- 7:17Another one. And so you have him as an
- 7:19orange. I would probably put that green,
- 7:22personally. I just put him orange because of
- 7:24the city, the city game, the city games.
- 7:27Is next time the game off of that forest.
- 7:28I think he should get some some. Good.
- 7:30I have this weird feeling the city's going to drop points
- 7:32again and then the final weekend just going to be like, whatever
- 7:34I really do, I think it's over. I think it's over too.
- 7:38I do. But yeah, we'll see.
- 7:40I mean, that's what it is. The next one you have in here is
- 7:42Kevin Danzo, Tottenham defender, 12% owned 10 points in last
- 7:46game, averaging 10 points over the last three.
- 7:49Winning lots of aerials, has long throws.
- 7:51Next few games are desperate. It's Chelsea away, Everton at
- 7:55home. Those are really challenging
- 7:56games. You got them.
- 7:59Chelsea, you're not going to make it easy.
- 8:00Every chain is still playing for Europe potentially.
- 8:03So I yeah, I think that's, I think that's a tough one.
- 8:07But I mean, as a as a player who gets defensive contributions,
- 8:10it's not the end of the world. No, and it's not like.
- 8:13I'd be weary if it was like a right back or a left back where
- 8:15you're really relying on like a lot of offensive points.
- 8:18But no, he's doing a lot of aerials so.
- 8:20And that's an orange again, because of matchups and it's not
- 8:22himself so. OK, next one on here.
- 8:25Harry Maguire, 40% owned defender, United, obviously slab
- 8:28head slash Dudley Dursley. He has his moments.
- 8:32Right, he does. He does have his more and he
- 8:34could score a goal. Yeah, that's always a bonus.
- 8:37And I just feel like like that last game, like they looked like
- 8:41they had no attacking evidence really, but their defence looked
- 8:43fine, you know. And I think like a lot of
- 8:45players are going to be like already kind of checked out and
- 8:49Forrest at home next is a good match up because I don't think
- 8:52Forrest is playing for much. They're safe.
- 8:53No, they're safe. That's it.
- 8:55Yeah. They're safe, that's it.
- 8:56They have nothing else to play for.
- 8:57I wouldn't be surprised if they just, you know, and I think a
- 8:59lot of people that and there's these are my players that think
- 9:01about the World Cup already. Yeah.
- 9:03So I think it's safe to say that that's that's like that's like I
- 9:06wouldn't see a lot of goals in that game.
- 9:08Potentially Brighton away last game of the season could be a
- 9:12tricky one, but that's in that's in two weeks.
- 9:15So you don't really need to worry about it too much.
- 9:18All right, Those are the three. Those are the defenders
- 9:19forgotten midfielders on here. You have I don't know I would
- 9:23not put put this one on here, but you put in James Madison
- 9:2697%. Let me, let me just.
- 9:29Do that way that was taken. He came out in the last five
- 9:31minutes and have a negative half point.
- 9:33We just is this just a troll? No, no.
- 9:37No. If you see James Madison, hold
- 9:38on. If you see James Madison
- 9:39starting, you wouldn't like you would have planned.
- 9:42No. Not after what I saw in those 5
- 9:44minutes. He didn't play for 5 minutes.
- 9:45He also played for 20 minutes. He came on 5 minutes for the end
- 9:47and 13 minutes overtime. Maybe not.
- 9:49Officially 5 minutes but but if I see James Madison the line up,
- 9:52I'm absolutely. Putting, I just feel like he's
- 9:54so a ways away from really. He looked very hesitant on the
- 9:57ball to do anything. He looked very hesitant, like
- 9:59even going to fifty 50s. Oh my God, this scared me so
- 10:02much. Chico.
- 10:03This just scared me so bad. I thought that was my I like I
- 10:09thought that was someone in my house.
- 10:10I thought that was someone in I just for some reason looking at
- 10:12your thing and seeing the door open just literally like made my
- 10:14heart drop because I thought it was like someone in my home.
- 10:18No, you're fine. You're good.
- 10:21Okay. James Madison is a little is
- 10:23very risky. That's a red.
- 10:26I hate that one. That's just for a Tottenham fan.
- 10:28He doesn't have a Tottenham player on his team.
- 10:30He's like, you know? The same reason that it's the
- 10:33same reason that James Madison is on the bench for Tottenham,
- 10:35really just like, want to feel good there.
- 10:37That's basically what it is, really.
- 10:38I like that. The other one on here, Joe
- 10:41Ellington, 43% on mid came back for two games and played the
- 10:44full 9013.5 and 6.5 S that up and down you know he's capable
- 10:48of doing a lot. I heard no better mids.
- 10:51Really. This is tricky, huh?
- 10:53There's. Not much out there.
- 10:54Everything was 55 plus man. Yeah, let me, let me.
- 10:59I updated the heat tracker. Let me see if anyone's popping.
- 11:01I'm just off the RIP. I see.
- 11:04See, position midfielder Kobe May knew.
- 11:08I mean, he had that 12:15. They had a 575 in the last game,
- 11:11which is not great. It's still, it's still
- 11:13something. But that's exactly what we said
- 11:15was going to happen, though last part we said that's what that's
- 11:17what he puts up his fives and sixes.
- 11:20You're not going to see those double s.
- 11:22Yeah, but he had one good game. Yeah, yeah.
- 11:26Man, oh man, this is tough. Ayo Tanaka has been kind of like
- 11:29he had a 6 1/2 point game this last game after a 13 the game
- 11:32prior. I I would be interested in that.
- 11:34So I mean, they play. Who do the leads play?
- 11:38Let's see, next week Leeds play Bright and oof, yeah, it's not a
- 11:45great game either, is there really play?
- 11:47Brighton's playing for something.
- 11:49Leeds is like, not really playing for anything anymore,
- 11:51right? They're pretty close to safe as
- 11:52well, huh? And so I'm not getting any sound
- 11:55from you. It's only Tottenham and West Ham
- 11:57now though. Yeah.
- 11:59That's that's it, right. Totally.
- 12:01Yeah. Yeah.
- 12:02So that's tricky. I mean, there's not, there's not
- 12:03a lot here in that sense. So I get it.
- 12:07I get why there's not much there.
- 12:09OK, so we can move on. Yeah.
- 12:11What about Zion Fleming Tikka? I know you're a fan of his,
- 12:14right? He had a good game, but then he
- 12:16had a couple game before that. I looked at him.
- 12:18Yeah, yeah. And it's Burnley, they're
- 12:22playing Arsenal next. Arsenal's going to try to troll
- 12:25up him and then, yeah. This is other names I would
- 12:29maybe take a risk on like King Louis Potter from Bradford too.
- 12:33I mean, he had a bad game last week, but before that he was
- 12:35looking kind of OK. No, he was looking good.
- 12:38Bradford plays. But this is if you've literally
- 12:41got nobody, that's who you pick up.
- 12:43Yeah, we're throwing. We're literally just throwing
- 12:45out like darts on a darts on a border now.
- 12:48It's pretty, pretty tough, but OK, those are the 400 fielders.
- 12:52OK, then these ones are risky forwards and I like, I'm
- 12:55interested in these. Actually, I dropped some of
- 12:56these. The first one is Loam Chachua
- 12:58from Burnley, 7% owned forward. 2 great starts from Burnley in
- 13:02his last two and those are seems like maybe two of his.
- 13:05He started the last three I think.
- 13:06And then the last two he's played the full 90 and actually
- 13:08looked pretty good. And I think it's like new coach
- 13:10or whatever, interim coach and let's just try him out.
- 13:12But he's like decent and he's scoring points in ways that I
- 13:14think we'd like to see some good, some dribbles and he
- 13:18passed the shots. The big problem is Arsenal next.
- 13:20Yeah, I don't know if Michael Jackson get him to do well
- 13:23against awesome. But I mean, it's wolves the
- 13:27final week. So it is, I mean, it's, there's
- 13:29not a lot there. It's a red.
- 13:30We're not, we're not feeling good about it, right?
- 13:32No. I actually like this next one a
- 13:35lot though. Matthias Monet 37% on forward.
- 13:37He had a poor last game, so I could see him getting dropped in
- 13:40a lot of places, but the few guys before that, they were
- 13:42pretty good. Yeah, he's getting points the
- 13:45right way. Promising prospect, hoping to
- 13:47make a splash in his last two games.
- 13:50We got to transfer. Fulham and Burnley are next.
- 13:52I think those are both usually opponents.
- 13:53I don't think Fulham's playing for much.
- 13:55I mean, I think they technically you're like.
- 13:57They're still in Europe. They're still in Europe.
- 13:58They're still like, yeah, but like barely.
- 14:00And I bet you a lot of those players are going to be pretty
- 14:02checked out. And then Burnley is what it is.
- 14:05So I like I like Matthias Monet here and then Rio and GAMOA 34%
- 14:11on forward. He came off early and she was
- 14:15like, no, they said it. They claimed it was just cramps.
- 14:19So we'll see what that is. But and then the other thing
- 14:22with him, it's an easy drop if he doesn't start and he maybe
- 14:25pivot on these other two guys. The questions for you guys, if
- 14:27you were to rank these three forwards, if you were desperate,
- 14:29you needed a forward super bad, which well, how did you rank
- 14:32these three? Rio money and then the.
- 14:35Situa. Yeah, what's his name?
- 14:38Say. I I would go, I would go ahead
- 14:40to go where? You.
- 14:41No, no, I was going to say I would go same order.
- 14:43I would go mane Rio because I think mane is going to start for
- 14:46sure out of some of real is going to start like words was in
- 14:48words was sick, right, so slow, you know, so slow as I play that
- 14:52mail. So I just, I'm less confident
- 14:53that Rio gets to start. I added more on there.
- 14:56Oh, oops, Kevin, 6% over forward.
- 14:58He came on for 20 minutes and it's 7 1/2 points.
- 15:01That feels like very par for the course for him, though.
- 15:03Like he like when he's when he comes up the bench on Oh yeah,
- 15:06scores, scores some good ghost points and then got his start
- 15:09and it's just absent. Studs, But I think he's going to
- 15:12be nice next season. You think?
- 15:14I think so. I mean, when he got hurt, they
- 15:16were saying he's gone for the year and then the fact that they
- 15:18brought him in and he got 30 minutes of playing time.
- 15:21So it's if he starts, if you're desperate, it's my work because
- 15:24like forwards are going to be big.
- 15:25Too, I was very surprised to see him come on because he that was
- 15:28what we heard. But I like Kevin.
- 15:30We like the end of the season, just needs a little bit of time.
- 15:34He's young, Brazilian. My guess is what Esteval
- 15:37announced he's going to miss the World Cup.
- 15:39Rodrigo injured. I think he just wants to get
- 15:41some games out there him in case he gets picked.
- 15:44That's like one of the younger people.
- 15:46I don't think there's no way that he goes ahead of Ryan,
- 15:49Yeah. But yeah, I.
- 15:50Don't think so. I don't know who.
- 15:52Ryan Ryan from. Adelaide.
- 15:54Yeah, he's pretty. You're looking confused over
- 15:57there. I mean, all right.
- 16:00It's not for like one spot, but it's a like a 25 man roster.
- 16:04No, I know. But I just think that there's
- 16:05there's only a, there's a few spots that are.
- 16:07How many spots are you left for grabs?
- 16:08I was just say you got Vinnie Ruffina and then who also.
- 16:12Is Rodrigo healthy? No, he probably goes out.
- 16:15He's out, he's out, he's down and.
- 16:16Yeah, you pick. You take him over Neymar.
- 16:20Neymar got called up. Oh, did he?
- 16:23Nice. He did.
- 16:25Did Brazil now announced their World Cup squad already?
- 16:28No one has this is like the pre like the one day you buy like
- 16:3120. Five people.
- 16:32They they were down, Yeah. Neymar's part of it and he just
- 16:35had like a great game. Nice.
- 16:37Yeah, but he he. But he slapped somebody, so he
- 16:40might not be on the team, no. More.
- 16:41It's all right. Robino's done.
- 16:43I feel like it's like Neymar get calling up.
- 16:46Neymar though, it's almost like a distraction from the rest of
- 16:48the team. Having like a guy like he, he
- 16:50would need to really know what his role is on the team.
- 16:52I was going to say, I think, I think you're hoping he's matured
- 16:55as a player because he's such a talent man.
- 16:58And you, you, you feel like you benefit more of him being there
- 17:01than not having him there. If he, if he understands that
- 17:04he's not maybe starting every game, you know, if he comes in
- 17:07thinking he's the, he's the man. So because he was the man for
- 17:09Brazil for how many years, you know, if he comes in is like
- 17:12kind of is a little more humble about it.
- 17:13And there's like, oh, maybe I can contribute off the bench and
- 17:15stuff like that. Then you'd want the a guy like
- 17:17that. But if you don't want him coming
- 17:18in and thinking he's the boss and if he isn't, if he isn't
- 17:20starting games, he's throwing a fit.
- 17:22What do you think, Chico? With the creative CRI lack of
- 17:26creativity we have at the number 10 role, I mean, I think you
- 17:30should be on the roster because you could initially I I don't
- 17:33want him to be the starter from gay one day one.
- 17:37So if they're not able to succeed, then you could always
- 17:39bring it back on as a start to try them out in the group stages
- 17:42because obviously with the more teams, you could go to the
- 17:45experiment. But I ideally for me would be he
- 17:47would be like a super sub. If they're down, bring him on
- 17:49like the 6065 minute. Give him 30 minutes to like, do
- 17:53whatever you want. Yeah, OK, that was a fun little
- 17:56derail. Smells like.
- 17:58That smells funny. You know what desperation is?
- 18:03You putting stuff in the chat about the Arsenal, That's
- 18:05desperation. That is very much desperation.
- 18:08Yeah, yeah, that is a little desperate, but I'm not going to
- 18:11look at it now. It's like pick me, pick me, look
- 18:13at me, look at me. All right, let's go to news and
- 18:17notes. Madness in the Bourne myth
- 18:19Bournemouth versus Fulham Game 2 Reds at the end of the half 10 V
- 18:2210 second-half Very funny game to watch.
- 18:24That was. I don't think I've ever seen a
- 18:25game GO-10V10 that like like like that like that early.
- 18:30And then not to have a whole half of 10 by 10 was very weird.
- 18:33It was fun to watch. There was so much space in the
- 18:35field. Yeah, that was so much space.
- 18:38Anderson and Crispy were both missed the rest of the season.
- 18:41What were some of the players? Anything interesting player wise
- 18:44out here? Some some positive and
- 18:47negatives. I think positive was, I mean,
- 18:49negative was Wilson didn't have a good game.
- 18:51So hopefully he bounces back. He's been scoring well.
- 18:54I think he's still got like double digits golden assists.
- 18:58Honestly. Bournemouth look good.
- 19:00Wasn't it look good they had a lot of players score high.
- 19:02I think it's funny because Fulham literally I think their
- 19:06highest scoring player is was Anthony Robinson was 7.75
- 19:09Bournemouth had. Had Hill.
- 19:11Trufer 20.5 Adam Smith 17.75 James Hill 6125 Ryan 14.25 S
- 19:17Nessie 11/5 Yeah so and that sounds like Bournemouth was just
- 19:22pumping as in compared. They look good.
- 19:24Croopy didn't do well and Scott didn't do well for him.
- 19:27Yeah creepy looked non existent on.
- 19:29Creepy. Creepy so far in his career has
- 19:33not done much other than tore wolves like, you know, as far as
- 19:36like points go. Oh.
- 19:37Fantasy wise, yeah. It's pretty much just goals.
- 19:40And that's something that like, hopefully maybe as he grows, you
- 19:43know, you can see him doing better.
- 19:46I mean, he is one of the most like the hottest prospects.
- 19:48There's a lot of rumors that he might go somewhere in the summer
- 19:50already. Really, it's his first year at
- 19:52Bournemouth. I know, but I heard PS GS
- 19:54knocking around and a couple other places are kind of
- 19:56interested in them. So kind of interesting there.
- 20:00We talked about Anderson, Christie, they're the two that
- 20:02got the Reds. They'll miss the rest of the
- 20:03season. I think Anderson's probably the
- 20:04one that you just. Yeah.
- 20:05You care about the most. Yeah, Yeah.
- 20:06Just you drop. Get out of there.
- 20:08Yeah. All right.
- 20:10Next up, Doku, Jamie Doku finding his shooting boots this
- 20:13week. A goal and a clean sheet gave
- 20:15him 10 points. 25.75 ghost points are impressive.
- 20:19Did he not have did he have an assist too?
- 20:22No. No assist.
- 20:22He just had a lot of like. Had a lot of successful tools.
- 20:27Yeah, he was. He was kind of cooking Coyote on
- 20:30that side. Yeah, Kelly had no chance.
- 20:32Fouled him. So many.
- 20:33Times I also feel like like Coyote's a pretty good defender
- 20:36and I just think that Doku is just like kind of at his peak
- 20:40right now. He's like he's yeah, like he's
- 20:44confident and just dribbling. I mean, he's been looking
- 20:46really. I remember he played the United
- 20:47States in in the last international breaking of that
- 20:50was that last month. And like, I would remember
- 20:52watching me like, I don't remember him being this good.
- 20:54You know, this is his best season.
- 20:56Oh yeah. But it's also, it's only been
- 20:58the last little bit though, because I think he'd scored four
- 21:00goals all season and then in the last six games he scored five or
- 21:04something like that. He.
- 21:05Did really well beginning the season.
- 21:06Then he had that law where he got injured and it was on back
- 21:09and back and forth. And then at the end of the
- 21:10season, I think he's been really good.
- 21:13All right, just tell me where, where, if you had a guess right
- 21:16now, where is he going? Where is he getting drafted?
- 21:18Like don't you don't say like first round, say like 10 pick,
- 21:21you know, like tell me, like tell me kind of right around
- 21:23what pick you think so that without without thinking about
- 21:26it too much, it's. Like 12 pick.
- 21:29So you're thinking like end of the first, beginning of the
- 21:31beginning of the second depending on if you're in a
- 21:33tenner. Yeah.
- 21:34What are you, Tika? 8 Ninth.
- 21:37He's going early because yeah. I'm thinking like 15 because I'm
- 21:43thinking that's interesting. My my thoughts are that like
- 21:46he's only doing it late at the end of the season.
- 21:48And then like the whole like pep thing, like you just it's like
- 21:52there's a little uncertainty. I think it changes if like
- 21:53another coach comes in a little bit.
- 21:55But yeah, I think, I mean, I think this it's always like that
- 21:58recency bias thing where like if he continues to cook and he has
- 22:01a good World Cup too, I think people are going to.
- 22:02Want to? Because you've got a thing too.
- 22:04There's some menu on that team. But no, Silva's going to be
- 22:06gone. So maybe Foden Duggar on
- 22:08Simeni's been having a awful last few games fantasy wise and
- 22:12actually in the league wise, haven't done nothing.
- 22:14But just from what he did beginning the season and what he
- 22:17did at the beginning with Manchester Sea, he's going to go
- 22:18hide and Doku. No, he he's ranked 22nd.
- 22:22Doku is, yeah. He only started 18 games.
- 22:27See that? That's the concern.
- 22:28That's a concern with with, that's the city player.
- 22:31He's not a, he's not an invincible, he's not an
- 22:33invincible city player the way that.
- 22:35No, no, he he got that many points in spite of that.
- 22:38Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, yeah, yeah.
- 22:40Simeno is ranked. 4th overall, but if we do the numbers like
- 22:44how much of that was previously moved city, I think it would be
- 22:47a different story. The other thing is I feel like
- 22:51that winger's on the right side, not on the left side.
- 22:54Yeah, they play on different sides.
- 22:56I pettigo. What I'm saying is that 18
- 22:58starts is not good enough for a first round pick for me.
- 23:01And that's not what I was saying too like get the points, but
- 23:04then you got to say OK, like he had the 30 points or 30 points
- 23:06two games in a row. But Semenyo was consistently
- 23:09throughout the beginning of the season and mid season was
- 23:11scoring and and he played majority of the games.
- 23:13So I hear you though, and I wasn't saying about both sides.
- 23:17It's just if you're going to pick a man C player next season
- 23:20on the wing, I think most people are going to go for Semenyo
- 23:22before they go for Doku. Yeah, I don't know, it's just
- 23:25tricky, but I'm just thinking about it like from a draft
- 23:27perspective, like I just don't. I wouldn't want to, I wouldn't
- 23:29want him to be the the player of that baseball team round.
- 23:31If you think he's only going to get like like 24 starts, you
- 23:35know OK in the. Last six games, Semenya has zero
- 23:39goal. Zero says he hasn't scored.
- 23:41Up a bit yet he's we said he's having an awful end of the
- 23:43season, but before that he was having an amazing season.
- 23:46Yeah, even when he, even when he started, even when he started a
- 23:49city, though he was. I haven't.
- 23:50It took him 30 plus games to figure them out.
- 23:53Take over. No, no, I think no, no, no.
- 23:55What are you talking? About hold up, what are you
- 23:57talking about? He came out City, he got off to
- 23:59a good start and then he went out this job after like 10 games
- 24:01or so. You don't think the defenders
- 24:03figured? No, no, Tigger, you're right.
- 24:04I don't know why I'm even arguing.
- 24:05There's a lot of pull out the stats and.
- 24:07The defenders figure things out, I think, like perhaps maybe
- 24:10playing them in a different way. I think like he could just be
- 24:13going on a little bit of slump. It's the end of the end of a
- 24:15long season where he was at, played a lot of games.
- 24:17He's not at AFCON in the summer. Yep.
- 24:20Was he? Yeah, I don't know.
- 24:22Oh, no, he didn't. Anyway, so he didn't.
- 24:24I think there's a lot, I think there's a lot of factors.
- 24:26I think it's hard to to pin it down to one thing, but I just
- 24:29think that like, I, I think it's tricky.
- 24:31I think it's tricky to look at Doku and then look at the years
- 24:35of Doku and like, but I also think that changes maybe if he
- 24:37has an amazing World Cup and it changes too, if Pep leaves.
- 24:39I think if Moresca's in there, you look at the way that Moresca
- 24:42coached at Chelsea and you see that he's he's someone that
- 24:45starts the same players pretty consistently.
- 24:46Yeah. So you wouldn't be as worried
- 24:48about the the pep roulette. So those interesting thoughts.
- 24:51OK, Hollande gets a goal and a not so rare assist.
- 24:55That's his what, 8th open open plays assist of the season, so
- 25:0027 points and has just as many assists from open play as as
- 25:03Bruno Fernandez. She was now pushing for the
- 25:04record for assists in a single season.
- 25:06Yeah, so that's AI mean that's a statement to him and that he's
- 25:10not expected to be doing that either.
- 25:11No. So then the question is is why
- 25:14is Holland having no play of the year shots?
- 25:16He has 30 plus goal contributions.
- 25:18I think he's the only player in the league with 30 plus goal
- 25:20contributions. Because it's going to go to
- 25:22decades. Is it that?
- 25:26But is it the city effect? Is it like the same way that
- 25:28like, Kevin de Brenner was kind of like pretty undervalued a lot
- 25:31of times, just like people just don't care because it's Man
- 25:34City? Who got it last year?
- 25:38Was it AC player? I don't know if it is the city.
- 25:41I don't think it is a city thing honestly.
- 25:44He's put up some really good numbers, but it's the
- 25:46expectation of Harland do. You think it's, I think part of
- 25:50his issue is that he always starts so strong and he really
- 25:52slows down at the end of the season.
- 25:54And then when all these people are voting, they're going to
- 25:56remember Bruno coming on so strong and even they'll kind of
- 25:58forget that he had a pretty bad start to the season.
- 26:01No, that has like a mental thing.
- 26:03The problem with Holland is what he's doing.
- 26:05He normalized it, which is not normal.
- 26:06Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I think that's a good point.
- 26:09He's But let's say he's a victim of his own kind of success in
- 26:12some ways. Victim of his own greatness.
- 26:14Yeah, yeah, which is interesting, which is a shame.
- 26:16Again, biggest robbery in the last five years is messy getting
- 26:20that Balandor overhand on the on the City travel year.
- 26:22Yeah, but we'll move on, all right?
- 26:25Krusenov didn't play due to a knock, AKA played instead.
- 26:28Did well fantasy wise. 14 points.
- 26:29Is that worth looking at? If Kustov was still out, which
- 26:32would you? Would he be a streamer?
- 26:33I think so. I think so back.
- 26:36He's actually on it. Against Bournemouth?
- 26:38Against Bournemouth? I should be a little nervous.
- 26:39Against Bournemouth, Yeah. All right, Next game it's
- 26:43Everton. Let's talk about James Rakowski.
- 26:4630.75 points, golden assists, 1717 points from that.
- 26:51And the 13 goes one of the most disrespected fantasy players
- 26:56probably last few years in a row.
- 26:58Guess what? 1st.
- 27:03Overall. 5th overall. As a As for defenders, no, no,
- 27:06no overall, overall in the universe.
- 27:09And then where I can't remember where did he get drafted?
- 27:13I know he's not getting drafted earlier.
- 27:14I think it's. Like like fourth, third, fourth
- 27:16round. Right.
- 27:16Yeah, but should he? He should.
- 27:18Be higher fourth round. Let's look.
- 27:20I think you can. I'll pull it up, Kefi, I'll pull
- 27:23it up. Because don't think he got
- 27:25drafted late this year, didn't he?
- 27:27Didn't he get drafted like 6 sevens?
- 27:28Later he. Later he was 49.
- 27:32MMM Doku was 5/3. Wow in our league.
- 27:36In the 12 men. In the 12 men. 49 so in the 10
- 27:39it would be lower most likely. Yeah, yeah.
- 27:40So, yeah. And and so he went 410.
- 27:43Turkowski went 410 in our in our ten it would.
- 27:46Be interesting to see if next year more first rounders go in
- 27:49the first round, more defenders to go in the first round.
- 27:52I mean, after this season, I think with the issue that I saw,
- 27:55it was funny and I know you guys are going to hate that to bring
- 27:56up his name. But Nate beginning the season
- 27:59was talking to me about about like he like had this strategy
- 28:03where he's going to like pick a lot of offenders.
- 28:04And I told him I was like, you know what, There's there's
- 28:07something to that. But the issue with the Fenders,
- 28:08it's so unpredictable. Who's it going to be every year
- 28:11like this? It's not like like a forward
- 28:13player and stuff. No, yeah, I think they have a
- 28:15Tarkowski. But I was going to say there's
- 28:17there's always a few names that kind of stay there, and
- 28:20Tarkowski is one of them. You know, Gabriel Tarkovsky,
- 28:23Virgil. The summer so the center back
- 28:26like elite center backs seem to be a little bit more consistent
- 28:28where you look at like the right back left sucks like Daniel
- 28:30Munoz is not having anywhere near the season he had last year
- 28:33partially injuries partially Palace a little bit dripped
- 28:37Anthony Robinson had a big injury, but he also he also had
- 28:40ten a fifth last year, which was way over his XG and he's he has
- 28:44no assists this year, but he also missed what quarter of the
- 28:47season third of the. Season more than.
- 28:48That, Yeah, yeah. So, so I just think that those
- 28:51positions are a little bit more fluid.
- 28:52So it'll be interesting to see where these guys go for sure.
- 28:55But I, I know I'm just saying moving on to next season, pitch
- 28:58up more off next season if we're if we're still in the league.
- 29:02Say that every season. And we're still in the league.
- 29:04I mean you, Julian Timber. Yeah, yeah.
- 29:07Jordan Timberlake, sure. Yeah, Guai Guai he has been.
- 29:11Besides that pass back was has been amazing.
- 29:15Fuck. Yeah.
- 29:17No, no, there's there's been good defenders, but I just like
- 29:19the ones I'd be, I'd be nervous about like Matthias Nunez again,
- 29:22Adrian Truffer, like some of these other guys that are up
- 29:23there in the top. You've been nervous about Hill
- 29:25too, like all these Bournemouth defenders that have been tearing
- 29:27it off. I would be nervous simply
- 29:29because it's going to be a new coach.
- 29:31So that that's one level of unpredictability.
- 29:33The fact they're going to be in Europe is another level of
- 29:35predictability, unpredictability.
- 29:36But so I think those are things that I would probably fade him
- 29:39because there always are a few defenders that over perform.
- 29:43He might have been the Weaver wire pickup of the year.
- 29:45Absolutely. James Hill, Yeah.
- 29:46I didn't. I didn't.
- 29:47Probably over me, yeah. Yeah.
- 29:50OK, moving on. Maxim D Kuiper, 36.25 points,
- 29:53best game he will ever have, 2 assists and a clean sheet.
- 29:57Not scoring well all season. Don't be a sucker who picks them
- 30:00up this week. I think that's that's good
- 30:02advice. And so for the most part, I'm
- 30:03not really betting on that one. No, I will I mean both as well.
- 30:08One assist was from a from a corner, and the other one was
- 30:11yeah, yeah, there wasn't like this unbelievable thing it.
- 30:13Wasn't like he was always under than Figo or Zinedine sedan and
- 30:16also I'm poured out past as us, yeah.
- 30:20Fair enough. Last thing on defenders, I just
- 30:24want to call out points per game, which is, you know, it's
- 30:27not the end up be all. I think we can look at points
- 30:28per start on the draft society if we needed to, but just like a
- 30:32little rough overview points per game.
- 30:34You guys want to guess who's the top three?
- 30:36Top five? I'll tell you.
- 30:37Gwahee. Gabrielle's one, Gabrielle.
- 30:41OK, so 2 is Gwahee. Yeah, 3 is Tarkowski.
- 30:44So I think part of his thing is availability because he's
- 30:47played, he's played so many games too.
- 30:50Like that's, that's a huge piece of why he's he's played 35, he's
- 30:55played 35 of the 36 available games.
- 30:57Was a lot of was a lot of their points, all three of them from
- 30:59like goal contributions or clean sheets?
- 31:03No, they all have three. Like three goals.
- 31:05Gabrielle three goals Gehe two goals Tarkowski.
- 31:07Tarkowski 3 assists. What's interesting that that
- 31:11Gehee and Gabrielle both have 5 assists.
- 31:14That's high. That's high.
- 31:15If you if you look at Tarkovsky, I'm just going to read off what
- 31:18he averaged for the year in the last like however many years,
- 31:211210.711.4101111131113 and some of them for Brantley.
- 31:29So he plays a lot of games, He's consistent and he's doing it at
- 31:3233 years old. So next year he'll be 34.
- 31:35Do you think he's got one last year left in the tank of this
- 31:37production level? Yes.
- 31:39I think, I think on a David Moist team, he probably does,
- 31:41yeah. Yeah, if same manager, same
- 31:43team. He'll do it.
- 31:44He's not doing it. OK, So then where do you where
- 31:45do you think is fair for him to go?
- 31:47You think like late second, late 2nd or?
- 31:503rd. I'd say early 3rd just.
- 31:52Because of his age, just certainly that's the only thing
- 31:55I'm worried about. Yeah, yeah, I like that.
- 31:57So what? So you?
- 31:58So where does Gabriel and where does Wade?
- 32:00Gabriel. Do you think one of them goes
- 32:03first round? No.
- 32:06No. Just real quick, I mean, if
- 32:09Mosala went first round, so should Gabrielle.
- 32:11I I have to jump off ways, but just real quick on what I would
- 32:15say why in my opinion, defenders don't go on first round unless
- 32:18you're like the trans, the trip year and like that caliber is
- 32:23which there is. Done.
- 32:24There isn't any. There isn't one right now, yeah.
- 32:28Yeah. I think every year we find
- 32:30defenders on the waiver wire because we have an idea how the
- 32:33teams are always going to be like a more defensive team.
- 32:36So did you have to pick up? Whereas would you rather take
- 32:38Tarkovsky in like the third round or gamble on the player
- 32:41like, I don't know, like like Sharky this year where gambling
- 32:44exactly? Didn't know.
- 32:45So I think you want to go for the upside, yeah.
- 32:48Is that there's there's a lot more the the floor is way higher
- 32:51for defenders to score well and you also can predict a little
- 32:54more because it's not as individual and it seems doing
- 32:56well you can get pick up defenders from.
- 32:58A team, Yeah. And you could also always stream
- 32:59the stream matchups, like whoever's playing, like
- 33:02Tottenham or like, exactly of the world.
- 33:04All right, I have to jump off then.
- 33:07It's got promoted. They celebrated the canals.
- 33:10I don't know if you guys saw it. I saw her beast there.
- 33:12Yeah, it was amazing. Who CEO?
- 33:13They have AUS guy on their team. Oh damn it.
- 33:17All right. There you go, see you both.
- 33:18Peace. OK.
- 33:20We talked about the also West Ham controversy.
- 33:22Yeah, since the menu joins city, he's averaging 9.86 and Doku is
- 33:26at 13.52. That's interesting.
- 33:28Sorry, that's a random sound that that's what we put in.
- 33:30But OK, West Ham controversy, we talked about 0 red cards
- 33:35penalties against Arsenal and so just need to throw that in
- 33:37there. Just curious.
- 33:39We talked about the Spurs draw with leads, 2 point difference
- 33:41between diamond relegation. Now that's just me and you,
- 33:44Enzo. Yeah.
- 33:45Do you feel, I mean, I think that it's 5050 again.
- 33:49Oh, I think it was like 7030 now.
- 33:51I think it's on 50. 50 if we had 1 today.
- 33:53Anyone's game? If we had one today, I'd say the
- 33:55game's done. Pretty close to down, yeah.
- 33:57I think no, I would have said game's done.
- 33:59I think that would have just killed West Ham, but no, it
- 34:03isn't now. It's only two points, Ronnie.
- 34:05You guys so so if you guys, if you guys get a win, I think it's
- 34:08pretty close to done. Yeah, if we get a win, it's it's
- 34:10done. Because that is, it's asking
- 34:13West Ham to win its last two games.
- 34:14Because technically we could. If we win the next game against
- 34:17Chelsea, we could just draw the next game because we're we're
- 34:19above them in goal difference. I think what, what's going to be
- 34:22interesting is let's say, I mean, again, Chelsea's been so
- 34:24bad. So it's it's you have every
- 34:26chance that you're going to smash them, but if you guys lose
- 34:29to Chelsea and then in Weston going to win at Newcastle, it
- 34:31gets really nervy on the last day.
- 34:34Yeah, you know, then it's all that's what we don't want.
- 34:37I'd much rather draw to Chelsea and then win and then go to the
- 34:41last eggs. Then it's glitchy on us to win
- 34:44the game and not rely on West Ham.
- 34:46But yeah, it's it's football massage.
- 34:49Cell did well. He's taking corners.
- 34:51Frustrating player though. I mean he also gave up the kick.
- 34:54I don't think that's going to stop him from starting next
- 34:55week. Though and won't start next
- 34:57week. He didn't get anything for it.
- 34:59Richardson got eight points I think.
- 35:01Workhorse in there column. Milani man just does nothing on
- 35:08the Tottenham side. Almost on that right side.
- 35:10Just he's just a body at this point.
- 35:13Poro, Amazing, put up 14 points I think, again, just putting
- 35:16balls into the box and yeah man, we look again, Team looks
- 35:21better. Just didn't win the game, that's
- 35:24all. Significantly better.
- 35:25I mean, Poro's last few games have been pretty sensational,
- 35:28right? Like I'm looking here, it's
- 35:3014.25 on the 12th, 231597561675. You know what I really like, But
- 35:38I think it's been really good for you guys.
- 35:39It's going to be reflecting on points as much as bet Decor.
- 35:41You guys look so much better since he's been back.
- 35:44Kinsky had that save. That probably was one of the
- 35:47better saves. He had several, he had several
- 35:49saves. That one with the right hand, he
- 35:52got the one off the line in the first half.
- 35:56He had a couple good saves. I, I honestly, I've won him as
- 35:58my starter. Nothing against Macario.
- 36:02I think, I think he's been found out and I want Kingsley as my
- 36:05center. Back Interesting and this is an
- 36:08interesting site. You pulled only Spurs and
- 36:10Villiers that have all the two, the two teams in the prime that
- 36:13have not been rewarded a penalty all season.
- 36:16That's true. Yeah.
- 36:18Man, that Madison shot was even more pressing than the end.
- 36:22And every yeah, I wasn't even surprised at that point when I
- 36:27saw it. Like I know they say he got a
- 36:28touch on the ball, but the ball was still on its way and Madison
- 36:32still got taken out. Yeah.
- 36:34I think that's a tough one. Yeah.
- 36:35I think it's tough. Yeah, I think if, if I think
- 36:38it's one of those, if they called it on the field, they
- 36:40weren't. On the China, yeah, I think
- 36:41it's. Hard to it's hard to ever turn.
- 36:43OK, United draw Sunderland, meaning their fan will have to
- 36:45go all summer without a haircut. Ha ha.
- 36:48Question for you and I maybe should ask this when Tico's
- 36:51here, but he's he's gone now. Is that do you think that
- 36:54they're going to hire Carrick and then A and then B?
- 36:56Do you think that's the right decision?
- 36:58I don't think they're going to hire Carrick.
- 37:00I think that is the right decision to hire Carrick,
- 37:03though. I don't think they should go
- 37:05anybody else. I think they should try to hold
- 37:07out with Carrick for another whole season given the
- 37:11opportunity. I think he deserves it for what
- 37:13he's done. But knowing Man United, I think
- 37:16they're going to find somebody to pick up to take pick up the
- 37:22pieces and try try. They they want with Man United.
- 37:26I feel like what they want, they they want a manager for 4-5
- 37:28years and they're trying to find it and they haven't been able to
- 37:31find it since Fergie left. Yeah, I think they're going to
- 37:34still hire him. I really do.
- 37:35I think if he him getting Champions League from the
- 37:37position they're in, I think they're going to get him.
- 37:39I wonder, and I'm not saying it's the wrong, I just wonder if
- 37:42he's going to do a little similar to what all he did,
- 37:47though. We're just there's going to be a
- 37:48drop off. I just, I just the the like it
- 37:50hasn't really reflected in the results.
- 37:52But they've also been like kind of get they got away with
- 37:54something like that Liverpool game, like even the Bradford
- 37:57game. They're it's like, and then
- 37:58obviously the Sunderland draw was bad, but I just like haven't
- 38:00been seeing it as much from when in the way that like when
- 38:04characters are there. And then I also wonder how much
- 38:05of how much of that team is Bruno Fernandez, you know?
- 38:08And it's an easy fire too, so if he does start dropping off it's
- 38:11it's an easy one. Yeah, I just think the concern
- 38:13is there's a lot of coaches available this summer that
- 38:16aren't going to be available, you know, So then then it's like
- 38:19a question of like, are you hanging on the carriage?
- 38:21Is it going to, is it going to stop you from getting like a
- 38:24generational coach again? If you watch how the Bournemouth
- 38:27players play, the Bournemouth team's playing and then that
- 38:29coach is coming available, you're not going to say, hey
- 38:32you, would you like an interview?
- 38:34No, I mean, I think that I think it's pretty realistic to to I
- 38:38think it's would be smart to really be taking that very
- 38:40seriously and thinking about it. I think it's going to be really
- 38:42hard from like an optic standpoint to like go of a guy
- 38:45that just rescued your season, even if even if you're worried
- 38:48about him like long time. Yeah, you know, so that's why
- 38:51I'm out with it. But OK, we'll see.
- 38:52Matoma off after one minute. Not much to think about there.
- 38:56I just don't even know what to really do with him.
- 38:57If you have in his leaks or what not, there's not much to do with
- 39:00him. No.
- 39:01Like you know, then white off after one minute.
- 39:03Do you think he's done for the season?
- 39:05I don't know. He came off after a minute
- 39:06though. That's not it's never good it.
- 39:08Wasn't a minute, it was longer than a minute.
- 39:09Was it I? Thought he was longer than a
- 39:11minute it was like. It might have been like 7 or
- 39:13something but he was off. Early, yeah, I don't know.
- 39:16But it was, yeah, I know because they were looking really good
- 39:18when he was on the field. And then, yeah.
- 39:21And then they'd stop looking good essentially when he left
- 39:23the field because there was all these like crazy things that he
- 39:24did where he like put, he put like super magic right now.
- 39:27Silly, yeah. Let's see here, Socks.
- 39:32Then White came off in the 28th minute.
- 39:36Oh, did it. I felt so early when I was.
- 39:38Watching it, California, California Fiori off at half
- 39:42that was supposedly it was tactical.
- 39:43No injury. They didn't supposedly.
- 39:45But here's here's their words. Illness.
- 39:48I think you'll probably be fine for this coming week.
- 39:51If not, I think Rio and Gamma was even more interesting.
- 39:54But if he does play, then I don't know.
- 39:55I just don't know if there's room in the team for Rio right
- 39:57now. Yeah.
- 39:59All right. Coming into game week 37, it's
- 40:02getting pretty crazy. Yep, big matchups.
- 40:05City versus Bournemouth is a is a big one.
- 40:08I think that's going to be an interesting game.
- 40:10I think Bournemouth plays pretty well against City traditionally.
- 40:13I think Pat, I think Pat does not like play playing.
- 40:15It's Ariola. So that'll be fun.
- 40:19Arsenal goes. Yeah, I would.
- 40:20That's not a game where I would be.
- 40:23If I had, I mean, I think you're going to start your Bournemouth
- 40:25defenders, but like I'm not necessarily rushing if Kustnav
- 40:27comes back, I'm not rushing to start Kustnav.
- 40:29No, that'd be might be 1 where I hold off.
- 40:31Obviously you're going to start like a Nunez because you
- 40:33probably have to and he's been so good all season and like with
- 40:35with Bournemouth, like you're obviously going to start Hill.
- 40:37You're obviously going to start true fair.
- 40:39I think he's been one of the hottest players in the league
- 40:42right now on the fantasy tracker and the Heat tracker, so.
- 40:45I'm but on I'm signing all my assets on both of these teams.
- 40:49Even defenders. Everything.
- 40:50Everything. I'm a little leery on some of
- 40:52the defenders, but yeah, I get it.
- 40:54But yeah, OK, next game, Arsenal, Burnley.
- 40:57I mean, do you think Burnley has any chance to do anything here?
- 41:00No it's just Arsenal's going to be too good for them, especially
- 41:03with Saka back and Saka's has been tearing up that right hand
- 41:06side and Berlin just they they won't get away in edgeways.
- 41:10The only way then like stealing something is that they can just
- 41:13defend like gods and then steal off again.
- 41:16Set peace from somewhere. That's about it mate.
- 41:20I agree. Chelsea.
- 41:22Tottenham. Oof, I don't know about any of
- 41:25my assets on here. Maybe I'd play Poro because he's
- 41:28put boxes and tell I would put in for Chelsea I.
- 41:33Think you'd be going to play all your Tottenham attacking players
- 41:35because the Chelsea defensive been so bad?
- 41:37Coli wouldn't. Maybe Rich Allison.
- 41:40Maybe. I think Gallagher too,
- 41:42potentially. Potentially he only did like I
- 41:45think he only got like 6 points this game in that last game, but
- 41:48like Enzo, Fernando, Enzo definitely for Chelsea.
- 41:51Yeah, no doubt Stud. I I'm thinking about dropping
- 41:54Palmer for this game. I should have dropped him this
- 41:56week. I had him on the bench and I put
- 41:58in Hinchelwood and then I swept out last minute because I was
- 42:01like, no, it's Palmer. I did that whole bias thing.
- 42:04I just don't think he's got it for the end of the season.
- 42:06I think he's done. It's rough right now.
- 42:07Yeah, for fantasy wise for me, yeah.
- 42:11But Cucarella, I'm starring because he's going to go off.
- 42:13Yeah, so. Yeah, I think it's fair.
- 42:15I think I would just be, I wouldn't necessarily be like
- 42:18streaming Chelsea defenders. No, Danzo, you mentioned, I
- 42:22mean, yeah. Keep him busy, yeah?
- 42:25Yeah, I mean, I I've said like whoever plays the left wing on
- 42:27Chelsea, you're probably not that excited about because
- 42:28that's been like kind of a black hole position.
- 42:31Yeah, you mentioned Palmer, I think he starts, but yeah,
- 42:33unless he can really lock in. I think The thing is though, the
- 42:36game like this is just such a Derby match and you just don't
- 42:38really know how people are going to be.
- 42:40Yeah. So it's just like, it's a little
- 42:42tricky, but Chelsea's definitely ruined Tottenham before any
- 42:46situation. Yes, they have.
- 42:47I think about the year that Leicester won this, the league,
- 42:50Yep, killed us. Chelsea had nothing to play for
- 42:52and they Eden, Hazel, they, they were terrible and they turned up
- 42:55and played this game and. Eden Hazel showed up.
- 42:58Yeah. That fucked us up, yeah.
- 43:00All right, West Ham, Newcastle. Is that at?
- 43:02Is that at the? Is that in Tyneside or is it?
- 43:06I'm going to I'm going to assume it's in London because it has
- 43:09West Ham St. Saint St.
- 43:11James's. Park, so it's a Newcastle.
- 43:13Yeah, so man, that's a tricky game.
- 43:16I mean, I think the thing with Newcastle is they haven't been
- 43:18particularly great. I think they won last week
- 43:20obviously or no, they drew lot, drew lot drew again.
- 43:23So I think they I I saw S that they have given up 25.
- 43:27Like they've got given up the lead from like winning
- 43:30positions, like these 25 points. They're going to have 25 points
- 43:33from winning positions this year, which is like the highest
- 43:35by a lot. Is it?
- 43:36I thought Tottenham had the the the highest deficit of.
- 43:39I think it's, I think it's West Ham.
- 43:41I don't think Tottenham were in the lead that much.
- 43:44Oh no, I'm thinking about something else.
- 43:47But yeah, so I'm just saying that I think this is, I think
- 43:49this is a tricky game, really tricky for for West Ham.
- 43:53But I also think that when, again, we've talked about this a
- 43:55few Times Now, it's like what is Tottenham or what is Newcastle
- 43:58playing for? I don't think they're playing
- 44:00for Europe anymore. Thing they're out of it so
- 44:02they're. Pretty out of it.
- 44:03They're they're not, they're not threatened relegation wise.
- 44:05So then you're looking at a lot of guys who are probably
- 44:07thinking about the World Cup. Yeah.
- 44:08Brigi Marayesh Voltemod. Baltimore One star.
- 44:14He started last game. Yeah, I don't think it's thought
- 44:16it'd be a sealer again. Yeah, I mean there's just I
- 44:19think Joel Ellington, Jim Rios should probably be thinking
- 44:22World Cup. You know, I think there's a lot
- 44:23of guys that are going to be probably not 1000% so they just
- 44:26can't really afford you and we're W hand.
- 44:28They're they're going to be killing every single ball is
- 44:31going to be wars on I need new personal.
- 44:33Loose ball. I need Newcastle.
- 44:34Win. Yeah, just win Newcastle just
- 44:37for your favor. For your well-being.
- 44:39Integrity. Come on.
- 44:42All right, that's all I have. You have anything else and?
- 44:45Not really. Barcelona won the Classico and
- 44:48they won the league at the same time.
- 44:49Congratulations. I felt like I felt like a
- 44:51humiliation ritual. It was just to have that, to
- 44:53lose. I can't know.
- 44:55And then that was the season. Yeah, that's pretty brutal.
- 44:57So now every league has been decided besides the Premier, all
- 45:01the top five leagues. So telling league into belong
- 45:05one, right? What does Bayern Munich one,
- 45:08Bundesliga, PSG one and now Barcelona has one Spanish
- 45:12league? Now it's just this still the
- 45:14Premier League that hasn't been decided yet.
- 45:15Yeah, that's interesting. I like that.
- 45:18Yeah, competitive, Very competitive.
- 45:20All right, this has been episode 134 of Draft Offsides.
- 45:23My name is Keith. I'm with Enzo and previously
- 45:25Tiko. Get a dip off a little early.
- 45:28Follow us at Draft Offsides. Go to our website,
- 45:30www.droppedoffsides.com. Check out our heat tracker tool
- 45:35and we will see you next week for game week 37.
- 45:38Yeah, we will see. I won't see you.
- 45:40I'll be out of town, but Enzo and Tico will see you.
- 45:42Yeah. My last one.
- 45:44Last one in America. Last one in America before he
- 45:46heads out. Back over.
- 45:48Guys, please leave some comments on what you feel about the
- 45:50Arsenal West Ham game. I would love to hear from you.
- 45:52I would. Love to hear, I would.
- 45:54Love to hear. You lies in with the master
- 45:57thing. I just need them not to score
- 45:59like 10 goals. Well, yeah, we don't need anyone
- 46:02to get sent off. Yeah, I I just need him to do
- 46:05like Keller, just keep shooting the ball at him.
- 46:07That was crazy, bro. Yeah, you're fine.
- 46:09It's honestly, mate, it's it's literally you've got it.
- 46:12Yeah, I think even if we I think you've got it.
- 46:14So I I think I'll have second. I don't even think I'll get
- 46:18second in the other league, in the main league.
- 46:19I firmly get thirds because even though I'm gonna be I think I'm
- 46:23pretty sure I'm gonna be glad to close this week, Chris.
- 46:27And even if Sergei beats the Dewey brothers, yeah, he's, he's
- 46:35scored like 160, nearly 200 and more points than I have.
- 46:40So. Why has think been very quiet
- 46:44Chris? He's been very quiet in the
- 46:46chat. I spoke to him.
- 46:47I spoke to him yesterday and the other day.
- 46:49I don't know. OK.
- 46:52Right, Let's let's be honest here.
- 46:53Sometimes I go to that chat room after not saying nothing or say
- 46:57I put some rage bait in there or whoever does some rage bait and
- 47:00then there's like 100 messages you have to go from each and
- 47:04everyone. Well, yeah, today I was annoyed
- 47:06because there was like 15 messages talking about some
- 47:08American player, like, what are we doing here?
- 47:12See now I was just throwing out names.
- 47:13I had no idea about American players.
- 47:19I had to go Google it. I was like Aji Bang.
- 47:21I pulled that one out of my ass. Don't know it is.
- 47:25But then he started using different names for players like
- 47:28Fallow for for Balagoon. You know what I mean?
- 47:31Like, just use his name, you know what I mean?
- 47:34But yeah, I think you're going to get second from Bomb and
- 47:37you're going to get top in another league and it's going to
- 47:39be horrible. It's going to be really bad,
- 47:42like next year. So you're going to have to deal
- 47:43with you who's won in both leagues.
- 47:47And then you're going to have to deal with Sergey for a whole 10
- 47:50years of glowing about Arsenal winning the league and about how
- 47:54they're the best team and you've got to put them above Alex
- 47:56Ferguson's Man United 98919. What is more impressive, Thomas
- 48:00winning the same league twice or me winning back-to-back
- 48:02different leagues? Me winning back to.
- 48:04Back No, it'll be, it'll be Thomas winning this league twice
- 48:08already because we've only had Four Seasons, so he's already
- 48:11won 50% of them. That's pretty impressive.
- 48:17I think consistency is good. Like you see how I'm in 2nd and
- 48:21I'm going to get third at least in the other league.
- 48:23I feel consistency and showing, you know, strong management.
- 48:26I think that's pretty good. OK, come down.
- 48:29You just sound like Arsenal when they had Arsenal linger.
- 48:33Oh, finished top 4, by the way, that was a huge accomplishment
- 48:35for Sergei for like, the longest time.
- 48:39Well, look at our team. We finished top four.
- 48:41We suck. All right, What do you want me
- 48:43to? Do Arsenal's a good team then?
- 48:46I just, I, I think, I just don't think they need the help from
- 48:49the fucking referees. That's just my opinion.
- 48:54Well, that's that. They wouldn't win anything.
- 48:57Also, that was helping Arsenal, that was helping Tottenham.
- 49:01Brav, I'm a Tomlin fan and watching that, I was freaking in
- 49:03disbelief. Doesn't matter about who's
- 49:07helping. It matters.
- 49:09It matters. No, no, it.
- 49:10I think there was many fouls in there and I think I've seen
- 49:14Arsenal do so many more than that one.
- 49:17You just said no. Not without a.
- 49:20Brav, I've seen RYA punch Jao Pedro across the head, I've seen
- 49:27Rice handball it and then not freaking get given while he's
- 49:31put someone in a chokehold. I've seen you manhandled the
- 49:34Carrio many times and it's OK. That's different.
- 49:39No, it's not. I I tell you what.
- 49:42Look, no, don't tell me why I. Tell you what.
- 49:44I don't want to hear what your why?
- 49:46Is OK then I won't say it. Good, because you're just going
- 49:50to, you're just going to make yourself sound worse.
- 49:52I don't want you to sound like that on here.
- 49:54No I'm not because first of all, if they did that to let's say
- 50:00they did the same thing they did to Riot to an outfield player, I
- 50:03wouldn't mind much, but the fact that they did it to goalkeeper
- 50:06is different. You do it to the goalkeeper
- 50:08every time. What are you talking about?
- 50:11Listen, what we do is we don't grab and pull them.
- 50:14We just block them. We screen them and what whatever
- 50:17we do, we do it before the ball is played inside.
- 50:21Whenever the ball is in, we don't touch the goalkeeper.
- 50:23We have a lot of go. We have a lot of falls called on
- 50:26us that we push the goalkeeper. Just go back and look at it.
- 50:30Oh, yeah. OK.
- 50:31Yeah, yeah, I will. I will.
- 50:33So it's not like we do it every time.
- 50:35You're you're, you are justifying you.
- 50:38Cheating is what you've just done there.
- 50:41Yes, you have. You've justified cheating.
- 50:43I. Think the ref calling that
- 50:45Arsenal cheating. No, we don't cheat.
- 50:49No, I'm not saying I'm not saying him.
- 50:51We're not cheating. Oh my God.
- 50:54You didn't see the the rice. You didn't see Gabrielle Litchey
- 50:57leaning down, crouching, pulling that player down.
- 51:01You don't think that affected him?
- 51:02You think he's. You think he's all.
- 51:04But to be fair, to be fair, Rice has been hugging players the
- 51:07whole year, so you can't be that's.
- 51:08What I'm saying that's no, that's.
- 51:10What Cucarella does, That's what Cucarella does.
- 51:13His name? Is, and I'm not sure.
- 51:14Don't give me. No, no, no, no, I'm not.
- 51:16Give me. No, no, no, no.
- 51:18I'm talking about no, no, no, no.
- 51:22You do it to everybody. No, no, no, don't.
- 51:24No Credibility. I'm sorry.
- 51:25This is why nobody, nobody likes Arsenal.
- 51:29Because of the way you guys act. Why and how you justify it?
- 51:32Enzo, did you see? Did you see Bernardo Silva
- 51:36tackling that guy from everything?
- 51:38Did you see that? Clear you're using another and
- 51:40I'm not saying that is it wrong, that's wrong too.
- 51:43But Arsenal gets away with. Complaining about that.
- 51:46But Arsenal gets away with all the time.
- 51:48So does Man City, everybody. Arsenal gets away.
- 51:50With the Chelsea guy asking me if Cucarella gets away with
- 51:54that, I'm not talking about don't give me like pulling and
- 51:57pushing on player like outfield players.
- 51:59I'm talking about like player on goalkeeper.
- 52:02Hey Chelsea, that's what I'm talking about.
- 52:04Even the Man United 1. You impede the goalkeeper on
- 52:09many occasions, no. Or you stop a goal opportunity
- 52:13on many occasions. I.
- 52:14Do show me the video dude. Goal.
- 52:16Goal's talking about it still. Go on Instagram, go on
- 52:19Instagram, my guy, I'm sure I'll put on.
- 52:21Put on your blinders. Put on your blinders and go look
- 52:24at Instagram. On Instagram is pictures.
- 52:27Pictures are misleading. Even the Man United picture that
- 52:31you have, if you look at the video, that's before the ball is
- 52:34played, that's before the ball is played, still a foul.
- 52:37There's a big difference. Still a foul.
- 52:41I mean, I my thing is that it is for sure a foul, but the it's
- 52:46been so inconsistent that you I could see why people would be
- 52:48really frustrated. No, people are frustrated
- 52:51because it's Arsenal. If this was West Ham against
- 52:53some other team, nobody would be.
- 52:55What? Because no one would care?
- 52:56Because it wouldn't have. I wouldn't have changed the
- 52:57title, you know, I mean, I think it's just that, I mean, this has
- 53:00happened with Arsenal multiple times this year.
- 53:03Like look at the job page, like the things with child.
- 53:05It happened twice against Chelsea with John, Pedro, David.
- 53:08I literally punched out Pedro in the face.
- 53:09I said. Did you see the picture I sent
- 53:11or not punching the Wolves guy that wasn't called the foul?
- 53:14And we said that was a foul on this pod.
- 53:16Yeah, OK. But what I'm saying?
- 53:19That's a great example. It's like it's being consistent.
- 53:21It's not being, it's not being called.
- 53:23So then this should have been called.
- 53:24So it's consistent. What's the problem then?
- 53:26This it was consistent. The pod.
- 53:29Save it for the pod. We're we're.
- 53:30Recording right now, Sergey, we're recording, right?
- 53:32Now this is for the pod. No, no, this is good.
- 53:35Don't, don't. No, no.
- 53:35Keep this on the pod. Let's just show the episode.
- 53:37Psycho. Sergey doesn't actually want to
- 53:40be involved. I thought, you know what's
- 53:43funny? You know what's funny?
- 53:44That dinner we went to, like me and Sergey get along fine, but
- 53:48as soon as it gets onto WhatsApp or on here, we're going off.
- 53:53Well, because everybody's turning on righteous bias.
- 53:56There's all the ref didn't call it.
- 53:57Get out of here. The only reason everybody's up
- 53:59and up is because it's Arsenal. No, that's.
- 54:02Not I think you're having a little ego moment too.
- 54:05I don't think it's just because it's Arsenal.
- 54:06No, so I might be wrong. Said so for all the other ones.
- 54:13The goals that's Arsenal store like that.
- 54:15Do they go to VI VAR every time? This is what they want to.
- 54:19Which one? Everybody's saying all the other
- 54:21ones. Show me which ones?
- 54:22I'm not. I'm not watching them.
- 54:24So far I have not seen any picture that is really similar
- 54:29to the one that happened to Ryan.
- 54:31You're not. You're not close.
- 54:32You're not asking my questions, you're not answering my
- 54:35question. You're not even, I'm saying from
- 54:38the goals Arsenal score, from the corners, from those side
- 54:40pieces, do they usually go to war or they don't go to war?
- 54:43Because I I don't think. Sometimes they do, sometimes
- 54:45they don't. I don't know which one are you.
- 54:47I don't know which one you're talking about.
- 54:49I don't remember all of them. Sippy.
- 54:52Convenient. What are you talking about?
- 54:54What are you talking about? You're just telling me from all
- 54:57the goals. I don't know which one you know.
- 54:59What I'm going to tell mom, you're being mean to me.
- 55:02None of the goals they scored, nothing like this happened.
- 55:05No Arsenal player was holding a goalkeeper's arm.
- 55:09Sure, I think the goalkeeper element.
- 55:11Is I've seen Ben White. Here let's let's OK.
- 55:15To arms all day. I think bro, I think that
- 55:17there's been a. Lot before the ball is played.
- 55:20Bro what are you talking about? Out here bro.
- 55:22Or what about deck? What about Declan Rice?
- 55:24Literally grappling two players. That doesn't matter, Keith,
- 55:27because it's not touching a goalkeeper.
- 55:28That's what he's going to say to you right now, yeah.
- 55:30Yeah, yeah. No, I think that's all.
- 55:31I think it is a foul. I think it is a foul you do.
- 55:33I think it's a foul. I think it's.
- 55:34If you're going to look at the foul and the goalkeeper, you
- 55:37look at all the fouls that happened before that.
- 55:39OK, what do they do? They do like in the NFL thing
- 55:41where like the fouls cancel each other, the fouls cancel each
- 55:43other out. I.
- 55:44Agree. I think that's an interesting.
- 55:46Thing, yeah, but. That's me looking at it.
- 55:48If my team was doing that, you have to.
- 55:50You've got your own eyes. You got to.
- 55:52You can't justify the cheating. I don't think he's getting is
- 55:57consistently. They haven't been calling that
- 56:00the whole year. So Cucarella grabs everybody on
- 56:03every corner kick. Bernardo Silva didn't get
- 56:06penalty called against Everton. That was a big penalty if they
- 56:09called it right. Big swing on the on the
- 56:13Championship. It's crazy, I remember it's all
- 56:15the other teams going to VAR but not Arsenal ones.
- 56:17That was three days ago you did. I think, I think this, I feel
- 56:22like it's, it's actually really similar.
- 56:24It's really similar to, and this is going to drive you guys
- 56:26crazy. It's really similar to Blue Co
- 56:28And like the way that they've been doing like creative
- 56:30accounting where it's there's, there's no, there's no like
- 56:33there's no rule against it. So like, I don't really blame
- 56:35you for doing it. You know what I mean?
- 56:37That now it's kind of Arsenal's MO, but it feels, but it feels
- 56:40very like it feels like it would have been poetic justice and
- 56:44like there would have been a righteousness to it if if
- 56:46they're like if that wasn't called either, even though I do
- 56:49agree it is a foul. I just felt like.
- 56:54But no one, no one's saying they're saying that they
- 56:56haven't. Been calling those types of
- 56:57plays, albeit that was on a goalkeeper.
- 56:59It's different, you know what I mean?
- 57:01That's what I said, but I've. Seen them?
- 57:04They've been fouling goalkeepers all season.
- 57:06I wouldn't argue. I wouldn't argue because every
- 57:09corner kick. Yeah.
- 57:10Where? Where he goes on the clock.
- 57:12He goes the clock. Yeah.
- 57:14OK. Sergey, can you cut that in?
- 57:16Do we need to redo this conversation for the pod?
- 57:18No. No, you're good.
- 57:20No, I could put that in, but you can still talk about it.
