A humble farmer, skilled welder, and devoted family man, Thaddeus Jackson Squires passed away at 83, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, kindness, and deep love for his land and loved ones. For over 50 years, he proudly served as a Millwright and tended his farm, growing corn and soybeans with pride. A pillar of his community and Haw Bluff Church Baptist, he is survived by his wife of 57 years, twin daughters, a son, and a large extended family. His family thanks the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare team, Dr. Jeffery Kornegay, and friend Katie Moore for their compassion during his final days…
